Nice hotel although lacks some attention to detail in places. Sometime it was too warm and other times too cold. Small rooms but good for an overnight stay and location is close to the tube and a few shops/restaurants. Good value for money.

We had a comfortable stay at the Mayflower. Prices extremely reasonable, bed comfortable and bathroom very good. Location is also excellent. The only complaint is that you are so close to the tube that you can hear it, with the window open we could even faintly hear the announcements from the platforms.

Cosy and very well located super close to Earl’s Court underground station. Lots of eating/coffee options around and even a 24/7 convenience store. Location is the best. The staff is welcoming and the room was clean and good value for money. Would stay again.

Location is great as it’s just around the corner from earls court subway station (easy travelling around the city). Although the location is in a very busy/high traffic area but has a lot of shops and restaurants in the area to explore. Hotel is nice from the outside and lobby is well kept. Good service and good communication. Appreciated that they kept an eye out for my COVID tests package to take before leaving London. You can come and go as you please as you’ll be giving your room key as well as a pass to tap to get back in the hotel as it stays locked! However my room was pretty dirty and dusty. Perhaps because of the pandemic rooms weren’t being used and it just accumulated dust. Perhaps better to check rooms before making them available. We had a broken fan covered in dust.. bed isn’t the comfiest but it did it’s job although some staining on it … at-least no bedbugs! We also asked our room to be serviced twice but none was completed. Our room (which was small double room - different from want the booking picture stated) was facing the subway station and yes you can hear the trains even with the windows closed. For us it didn’t really bother us as we had full days of exploring and was often to exhausted to even noticed. Room can use some updating and cleaning of the blinds/countertops. Would I stay here again? Yes but I would look at other options before hand

Amazing. Not a 5 star hotel but more of a cozy room with hints of Victorian style. If you are traveling from the states they will accommodate you if you're not prepared for the outlet situation (lol)
Great staff. Only problem was the lack of a fridge and microwave in room. Otherwise enjoyed my stay.
M. B.
It was good value and in the area we needed. It's really handy for the Earls court tube, but the noise of it keeps you up through the night while the underground/overground is running. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly.

Beautiful 1 night stay in our room. We had a stunning little room, the space was well managed and everything was very clean. Bathroom was immaculate and stunning. We had a balcony terrace which was perfect.

Staff at Mayflower is very friendly, responsive and helpful.
Communicating with the hotel is easy and straightforward. They would go over and beyond to help as much as they can.
We will surely book this hotel next time we are in London.

Room was small but was clean and had everything we needed, staff were helpful and friendly. Only complaint was that the shower got the whole of the bathroom wet

We enjoyed our stay here although the rooms were small it was nice.

Visited for 3 nights with my partner. Stayed in a “Luxury Suite” room, this hotel is one of the best I have stayed in. Very spacious, the little touches of the folded towels, and added extras within the room give it a sense of luxury. This hotel did not disappoint. Staff were friendly and polite. Continental breakfast well presented. Clean, well presented, extremely great location. I will certainly come back to this hotel and stay again.

I liked this hotel, the room was tidy and clean. The reception was helpful. The breakfast was included free. The toilet was clean.
The sink in the toilet was blocked. I called the reception and it was sorted straight away, the plumber was sent straight away to my room to unblock the toilet sink. Very helpful.
What I didn't like was someone drilling on the above floor at night time for just a little while and then it stopped and another thing was that it's not a card access room. So you get the key for the door.
Highly recommend this place to the newly married couple. You will love the bed design, its great.

I had a great stay. I stayed two nights and the room was perfect for one person. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was perfect. The room was light and airy. Breakfast came apart of my room which was served down stairs in the basement. It was a good selection with healthy choices. Staff were very friendly and helpful during my stay. The location was perfect. I would stay again.

Pretty good hotel in an area of town that is accessible to most places of interest.
Admittedly the rooms are a bit on the small side but they adequately suited our needs for the two night stay that we had.
Breakfast was quite accommodating but it is a continental type of breakfast.
The dining room is extremely busy in the mornings making getting a table where you can all sit together rather difficult.
The staff are excellent and very helpful.
The car park as advertised at £25 per 24 hours is a few streets away and is a bit of a pain to go backwards and forwards to get the car when it is parked up
Beware that it is a very small gated plot of land with room for just about 4 cars.
I don't think we did too bad for the price either.
Now that we have tried the hotel, we would return at some point in the future.
N. F.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay, nothing spectacular tho, but it matched the price we payed.
The rooms were clean and tea and coffee were provided.
I would book this hotel again!

What a pleasure it is to stay here. The reception staff are impeccable, I have a beautiful four poster bed to sleep in (maybe not in all rooms?), and the room is clean, and feels like luxury. Thank you so much! Dan
B. K.
Clean and adequate but that's about all. I paid £92 per night for a 4-poster double, room 22. The room is small and seems like an after thought. It's at the back near the cleaners cupboards. Getting a glimpse of other rooms, this is definitely not equal to others in this hotel. Admittedly usable but very small for the money. Shower is hot and flow is good, although the door leaks water from the cubicle and, yes, the shower and toilet room itself is tiny too. Low quality tea and coffee supplies in the room. It isn't a bad stay but I'm not sure I'd come back. I think you'd get more space in a budget chain.

I stayed at one of their (Superior Studio) apartments in a separate building, so I can't comment on the main building. The apartments are spacious, clean and nice. Our unit was on the 3rd floor (10W) which does mean you need to climb a few stairs, but this was not a problem for us. The room had everything we needed, including a washer, ironing board, small kitchen, air conditioning..
We had an issue with a broken pump in the closet next to our room making an extremely loud noise, but this was promptly addressed even in the middle of the night. They had to come back a few times that same night (my apologies for keeping your maintenance guy up all night! ;-)) but did their best to try and fix it and made sure we could get a proper sleep. The issue was fully resolved the next day.
The location is very convenient, both the main building and the apartments are right on top of Earl's Court station.

Nice place, room well designed but badly installed DIY style. Had a gas boiler right next to bed which was noisy at night. Window didn't lock. Would ask for a better room if I stayed again. Website pictures don't match the room I had. Cleaning was excellent, check in staff lovely.
B. M.
Ben was fantastic in taking care of the guests. Large rooms you can work and live in. Some of them with four posters bed and kitchen
Free toiletries..perfect location near the Piccadilly line

This was my 3rd visit. I really like this hotel, staff are always very attentive and helpful. We stayed in a spacious room (54), beautiful bright bathroom with bath and shower. This time my husband came with me and we had a good rest at night. Location is very convenient and tasty breakfast. The room was clean and nicely decorated. All we needed really. Thank you!
J. H.
Giving this place 4* as the location was bang on, 2 mins walk to tube at earls Court and to shops for essential, s including a mcds and KFC. The staff were OK and the room I had no 1 was OK except the laminate flooring creaked so much every time you took a step you couldn't hear the TV!!! It was so annoying, but otherwise OK, big bathroom, big TV, double bed which was OK, the view was facing back yard but you can hear the tube line until late at night which was a bit frustrating, overall OK.
c. m.
Fairly decent hotel. Room was very clean and bathroom was really nice. Looks like a just needs a bit of routine maintenance, things like the TV hanging at a wonky angle on the wall, missing cables, tatty paintwork in places make it feel a bit unloved and not in as good condition as photos online would suggest. Nothing so bad as to affect your stay or sleep though.
Staff were OK, continental breakfast was nice enough, and the location is perfect for exploring that part of London. Probably one of the nicer hotels I've stayed in in London for the money.
a. E.
Cool place, Great service too.
I think there was no kitchen or something. So you can't heat your food. Plus they didn't refund my balance because I moved out 3 days earlier.
But generally, Mayflower is alright!
P. F. M.
Nice & clean rooms with big balcony and kind of central with many good food restaurants nearby. But the bathroom makes noises and the shower is too small. The WiFi is really bad considering this is a 4 star hotel it should’ve been a really good and stable WiFi connection, i was disappointed...
The staff are friendly and the beds are big and comfortable. I recommend it if you don’t have a big budget and want something ok for the price.
S. C.
Great budget friendly hotel in an excellent location. A comfortable and quiet stay. Would stay again.
M. R.
The room was absolutely tiny but it had everything you need and the had made the most of the space they had. Bed was reasonable and there was still a cupboard, TV and hangers. Staff were friendly. I was only there for one night and it was a single room.
The included breakfast was just a normal continental (cold) one but there were options for fry-ups and the like.
It's brilliantly situated for getting around, only 2 minutes to the nearest Tube stop. They also offer a service to look after your bags after you've checked out, not something I needed, but a good service none-the-less. It may be small but for the price you aren't going to get anything much better in the area. Just be careful if you're one of these tourists with 5 bags the size of people.
S. z.
Good Hotel, the staff are very friendly and the hotel it’s near to everything in the center. The beds are comfortable but the shower it’s small.
The WiFi it’s really bad so be aware that you’re not gonna use it too much. The room service it was ok, and the price it’s good.
R. L. C.
Nice room, but small for the price and a lock on the bathroom would be nice. Couldn't figure how to work the temperature of the shower but the bed was extra comfy. Breakfast (cold, but unlimited) was included so good point and, finally, there was good coffee.
R. U.
Clean, nice staff, good space. All in all a very good hotel. Yes you can hear the subway from time to time but this is London and not Alaska. Will definitely book this hotel again. Of course you can get better places if you pay more, but for the money this place is great.
J. D.
Quite clean. Room 8 is in the basement floor facing the tracks.
K. F.
From the start I tought is not good hotel till I met Ben( the one with pink shirt )he is exceptionally annoying with all the details to the point he will make sure you have the best room for your stay just wanted to say thank
you 😊

I read bad reviews here but all staff were kind, breakfast was good and room was clean. They changed clean linens every day and towels were like five star hotel's. I was pleasure to stay here. Thanks every staff.
K. E.
We walked from Earl’s Court Underground tube station and it’s like less than a 5 minute walk which is really convenient. It’s located on a side street which is quiet. First thing I noticed was the elevator only fit 2 people. We got to the room and it was cozy. Plus, our room was upgraded to a Terrence deck which overlooks the street. Kind of cool.
2nd stay for the hotel we have a suite kitchen and private bedroom with a bathroom. The loo was dirty. The bed was springy, pillows were flat and uncomfortable. Tv wasn’t working due to WIFI. I didn’t get much sleep. 😴

My favourite hotel for short trips - business or holiday - to London. Fortunately I had a small, but nice room on the first floor with access to a balcony. The bathroom is modern with a big shower. All I missed there was a hairdryer. The service at the reception was excellent and my colleague and I felt very comfortable at the Mayflower hotel.
B. S. E.
Stayed in two rooms during a trip to London. The first was a middle tiered price and not the luxury room. It turned out to be the best of the two as the room and bathroom seemed larger but didn't have as fancy of furniture. If you're looking for function over form, don't pick the highest cost here.
The hotel has breakfast from 730-930 Monday through Friday, but starts later on weekends. It's very close to the Earl's Court tube station, which makes moving around London easy. This tube station also runs directly to Heathrow. So coming into the city and leaving is easy as you don't have to switch trains.
The cons to this hotel is that the beds are quite firm and the pillows were flatter than we'd have preferred. The WiFi sometimes had trouble likely due to all the walls, but mostly worked fine.
For the price, location near the tube, and free breakfast this is a good hotel. If you like a firm mattress, it's perfect for you.
S. B.
Really good location, 2 minutes from earls court. The hotel was clean, nice decor and the staff were quiet and friendly. Our room didn't have air conditioning but there was a fan instead so wasn't too bad. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. We didnt realise it would be so basic like just toast, fruit, ham and cheese. To get a more hearty, cooked breakfast you had to pay an extra £9! For a 4 star hotel, a hot breakfast should be included...

It's OK if you only want a bed for the night...passing through kind of thing, but not as a destination. Bed was right against the wall with the radiator, wall was not sound proof, we could hear the next room guest was snoring but we're good sleepers anyway.. Bed was not well made (creases on bedsheet as if someone's used it before us). Bathroom is compact. Breakfast was adequate, very convenient location for the tube but we could hear the sound of the underground from our room. Good wifi and working desk, tea/coffee
M. V.
Loved it. Some apartments are better than others but in general all have the necessary things we needed for the stay. The staff are very nice...

Spotless clean, very friendly amd welcoming,i never seen Studio this beautiful and cheap.Everything works round the clock from Wifi to washing machine.

I like the style of the rooms and its comfy even when you are a thief whose situation misnderstood maybe understanding pr already the primary product is a good night sleep :)

Rooms are smal, with just the basic features :a bed, simple desk, sink, and tiny bathroom with toilet and shower. Free WiFi is available, and has good speed. Breakfast is simple, with limited options. Location of the hotel is is excellent, however : 5 min walk from Earls Court subway Station, with a direct connection to Heathrow Airport, and 2 subway lines heading into Central London. Overall good value for money
J. L.
Decent enough place, small rooms, good beds, adequate bathroom. The breakfast has become worse in the last few years. Still, I stay here for the location, near earls court, restaurants everywhere.
B. E.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The room (B4) was very comfortable with a lovely shower and 4-poster beds. The breakfast was really nice for the price with fresh bread and croissants and good coffee.
M. V.
Although the room was very small, it had all the comfort needed, was nicely decorated. Bathroom was good, with nice linen. Breakfast also all you could wish for, considering the price. Staff at reception was ok, some nicer than others. I would defenitely go back!

The bed was actually very comfortable and the room was clean. But so many small things spoiled my enjoyment in Room 32: Nowhere to hang my wet towel, no towel rail at all, only one door hook on the back and I hung my night clothes on that. No bedside shelf or table so nowhere to put glasses, book, glass of water overnight. Shower doors did not properly close and a very small opening to squeeze into shower and steep step down to get in and out again with nothing to hold on to. Quite dangerous!. The toilet roll holder was so close to you when sitting there that I kept knocking the roll to the floor. Not nice!. The bedside lights were a horrible modern crome fitting with very bright white/blue (halogen?) light for reading by which felt very cold and uncosy. The metal door stop was exactly where you put your feet down when getting in and out of bed and I hurt and stubbed my toes more than once. The blinds were very poor at keeping the morning sunlight out as they did not fit the windows at all well so I was woken at dawn by the room flooded with light.
All these things could so easily be corrected. It is as though no-one had thought about the practicalities of how it would be to be using the room and facilities.
For the £133 a night I paid for a small double I expected a little better. It is only large enough to be a small single room. I was glad I was not sharing it!
K.
We had a lovely weekend in London! we booked a small room and got upgraded to one of the prettiest rooms I've ever stayed in. Thank you so much ❤️ the Hotelier was so friendly and the breakfast was fantastic, we will Come back soon!
A. M.
Awesome little hotel, arrived and got told we had been upgraded to a luxury room. Breakfast was a good continental one, great service. Definitely recommend.
R. C.
What a great hotel compared to so many others. Beautifully done up rooms and bathrooms, and a fantastic location. Cheaper than most of the dumps around Russell Square in the same category. This will absolutely be my new go-to hotel in London.
T. A.
We stayed for 2 nights for my 50th..room 53
The staff were so helpfull in giving us information getting about.
The room was fine large bathroom , clean soft towels clean bedding well stocked.... breakfast normal continental....
Room and all areas clean and warm, cant praise enough. Thank you
M. C.
If you're on a short business trip, this is a great choice. The main room us a bit dated and pokey, but no more so than other similar hotels. The shower room was very impressive though, like a different hotel.
G. N.
If you get a single or small double expect to be in a shoebox.. it's so small I could touch 3 walls at the same time, also the sound proofing between the rooms is very poor so bring ear plugs, but on the good side it is very clean and well kept
D. M. K.
Although the room and the ensuite was a little small and the tube noise was noticible, I still had a nice stay. The staff were pleasant, the place was clean. The location was a 30second walk from the Earls Court tube station and for £79 per night this close to the centre of London and the tube, I can't complain. Good value for the money, and you get what you pay for.
A. T.
Nice room, very nice and helpful staff, very close to Earl's Court station but maybe a little to close, the room was very noisy you can hear the trains going by and you could hear water running from people taking showers which was worse then the train as the train goes by quickly but the running water can last a long time.
Also the shower gets everything wet.
M. F.
Fantastic Place to stay, Aamir, Fasil and all the staff are both very friendly, but also highly professional providing World class customer service to all that stay. There. FIRST Class and love the place jimx
G. M.
Loved our flat. Walking distance to restaurants and more. Washer and dryer in the kitchen and big bathroom. The location provides an opportunity to see the London foxes hanging out in the street.
M. T.
Good hotel for the price, walked in and booked a room for £60 with breakfast, would put this on par with premier Inn but closer to the tube station around 150meters away would stay again, could do with a few more plug sockets for charging items.
Overall good place to stay and lots of food and drink places.
M. G.
The Mayflower Hotel was a good find. Only about 15 to 20 minute drive from Heathrow Airport. If you stay in the main hotel the rooms are smaller. If you book the studio rooms they are located around the block, apart from the main hotel. A short walk from the actual hotel. The studio rooms have been recently renovated. They are beautiful. These rooms come with a kitchen, little sitting area, bedroom and beautiful bathroom.
If you get the free breakfast option you will have to walk to the main hotel.
After reading the previous bad reviews, my experience was great. Use your own judgement. Not everyone's experience will be the same.
W. C.
Nice little spot close to the tube and shops. the studio apartment has all the amenities to self contain. Continental breakfast is good and staff are really friendly. Recommended.
