In general it's a nice hotel with an excellent location, great transport options close by and just a stroll from Hyde Park. On the flip side, room was a bit outdated and there were room for improvement on cleaning and small details.
The lobby area is very luxurious and the rooms are not par on the same level. Still, room was spacious and the bed quite comfortable.

I stayed here for 5 nights and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.Everyone is friendly and welcoming.Room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is exceptionally clean.Nice bar with good food.Breakfast is buffet with alot of choice and like the friendly chat every morning from the staff.
It felt like a home from home.I would definitely return and recommend it to everyone.

Many thanks to the team at the Millenium Hotel for our two night stay in January. Having been let down by another location, they were hugely accommodating and helpful to our family of five when we walked in. They went well above the call of duty, beyond the great room rate and interconnecting rooms. Rooms were very clean and well kept, and staff very friendly throughout, offering super advice on local attractions whatever the weather - and a well presented breakfast set us up very nicely both days. COVID safety, quietness when in room, and location all topped this off - very highly recommended!!

Huge, well appointed bedrooms, excellent breakfast, amazingly well located.
Staff /service is somewhat inconsistent- a few absolutely wonderful people for whom nothing is too much trouble, but more often we had indifferent and slightly surly service.
Despite this we would stay here again , the positives outweigh the negatives

Last night of quarantine from a red list country and this hotel was superb! From the minute I stepped in, everyone has been very accommodating. As part of check in protocol for lone female travellers, I was given a number to call in case I encountered anyone who did not make me feel safe (on top of being reassured by the hotel staff that I would not need the number but it is an additional layer of protection). I arrived around 6 pm and was given a menu to choose from despite the last minute notice. As with any hotel during the pandemic, the menu has 3-4 options (with halal and Indian food options each time) for lunch & dinner. Breakfast was the same (cereal, milk, pastry, fruit, yogurt, egg/bacon/vegetarian roll) but can’t fault the hotel for that as they are catering to hundreds if not thousands of travellers from red list countries all over the world. The room was equipped with air conditioning, a bathtub, television, mini fridge, kettle, blow dryer, and some toiletries (shampoo, bar soap, liquid soap). You can also request for washing soap etc if needed. The window opens slightly (just enough to let air circulate) and the view is beautiful - kept me sane and entertained to people watch and enjoy the small breeze from outside. I stayed in my room throughout my stay but had a few things delivered - arrived at my room promptly. Security was quick to pick up the phone for any queries I had as was reception. Overall, I felt very safe and will even go so far as to say that I enjoyed my stay here. It was really nice to be able to relax and live a slow paced lifestyle especially following the rigorous process of flying in. The hotel’s good reviews are as accurate as they can be and if you have been allocated the Millennium, you can consider yourself lucky and put your mind at ease as you’ve got a nice, safe, and relaxing 11 nights ahead of you!

Igor did the awesome job and made my day booking the reservation through the website. I accidentally did the wrong booking dates through booking.com but Igor made it easy resolving the matter at a speed of light. Go with the hotel website for booking rather than going through Booking.com

I stayed for a few days for a business trip. The staff was kind and helpful. The room was spacious and cleaned daily. I’d stay again if given the opportunity.

Located just at the heart of Central London. The hotel is clean, spacious, welcoming and provides you great hospitality. Hotel GM Mr. Chris and his team is very helpful and will guide you throughout your stay. The entire staff is very helpful. This hotel provide you almost every facility from spacious comfy rooms to gym and conference rooms for your business meetings. Highly recommended for families and businessmen. You wont regret, just be there!

The location is amazing, 30 seconds from Gloucester Road Station. The foyer is beautiful. Room was very clean but dated. The 2 USB wall sockets in the room did not work, that's a big problem. Used the TV USB input to charge my phone but it takes 10x as long. There's a bank of elevators but seems only a couple work.

I stayed there 6 nights and enjoyed my stay. The room was very spacious and the breakfast in the morning was very nice. The hotel itself is very grand with a lovely decorated lobby - would recommend staying here!

Perfectly located hotel. Grand lobby and plentiful lifts serve the well appointed rooms. We upgraded to an executive room which was amazing.

After reading poor reviews on many managed quarantine hotels’ services, we prepared ourselves for the worst, and did not have high expectation about the quarantine hotel service. HOWEVER, the Millennium Hotel is FAR BEYOND our expectation. This might sound exaggerating, but based on our experience (which is of course subjective), in terms of service, we would say that this hotel could be a role model for other managed quarantine hotels that receive poor reviews on services especially for guest with family.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner are always served hot (surely except when you request sandwich or salad) and delivered to our room without delay (even earlier than the schedule). Taste delicious and the portions are fulfilling.
The staff are very responsive to our requests/needs. We often have specific request every day, and they are so helpful and thoughtful. Sometimes, the staff call just to make sure we are okay and if there is anything he/she can help. Quarantine is not easy for some people, and the cost of staying in a quarantine hotel is much more expensive than regular price. It is really great if staff in managed quarantine hotels are trained to be aware of this and provide adequate services (should be different from regular services).

hotel great location bathrooms could do with upgrade cracked floor tiles really bad grouting. Main entrance/foyer lovely and welcoming. Lovely staff on main desk however tried to phone the day before to ask about early check in but phone never got answered after trying most of day. Good selection at breakfast however some items were cold. Best to get there early as got very busy later
One complaint regarding room service and miss/no information and customer service
We ordered a children’s brownie when it came I was charged £11
When I phoned to complain that I had been charged £11 for a brownie I was told that they had sent a brownie from the main menu @ £8 even tho I asked for the children’s brownie that was shown as £5 on the tv there was no apology for this I would have expected a refund for the additional cost as I had asked for the child’s brownie I then complained that the £11 charge still did not match up which what an adult brownie cost on the screen I was then informed of the service and tray charge I complained that there’s is no information about this on the tv or when placing the order that there would be a service and tray charge there’s was still not apology for not providing this. Also the price for the food on the TVs does not match the costs on your staffs list

My wife and children are currently in quarantine in this hotel. According to what my family has told me Since day 1 its been absolutely fabulous service what ever they needed was at the door in less than 5 minutes the staff never said no. The rooms are farely large and was clean when my family arrived. The food was very delicious and there was a range of different food to be chosen 3 times a day. We where lucky that my family had this hotel. I would like to thank everyone in hotel thank you.

Me and my family have been returning to this hotel for the past 40 years since 1982, we have never been disappointed great property and great people and the best location in town.

On behalf of my mom who resided at the hotel for the 10 days quarantine. “ The service was 5 star. I cannot find any faults during my stay. The food always came on time and I would always get more than one portion. I would like to thank Chris and his team in making my stay a very pleasant one. I would definitely come again after the pandemic. The food you had a wide diverse options. Food was always hot and really tasty. The room itself was a en suite all facilities worked correctly. The hotel team were awesome and I’m grateful for this. Chris or sometime the duty manager would call me every other day to check how I was doing and if I needed anything. The Service was top rated if I could give more than 5 stars I would simply do. From the moment I arrived till the moment of checkout I could simply say only one thing to Chris and his team Thank you!

Besides the questionable quarantine rules placed on visitors, there were lots of inconsistencies that affected the quality of the stay. Some staff don't knock on your door to inform you that your meal has arrived... this then allows the some what warm food to further cool down. There is nothing in the room to warm cold food.
The room only had one working power point which was disappointing. There was a fair amount of general maintenance required in the room.
On the positive side the room was fairly large and the central location (in a nice part of the city) helps with getting around (day or night).

My wife and children are currently half way through their mandatory 10-day quarantine there and the service they have offered has been so outstanding that I couldn't help but submit a positive review straight away. They've catered to every single request and more. The food is always fresh and portions are always generous. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for looking after them so well 🙏

Ok experience. The window panes were full of mould which made my friend cough and a struggle to breathe we did notify the hotel but we weren't given any compensation.

Room service is very good. Staff are very nice and kind. I stayed 13 days. It wasn't bored at all. I like so much. I stayed with my autism child but when I called for food or snacks, they send me right away. I really like this hotel. Excellent. Thanks all staff and management who take care of us very well. Thanks again everyone.

The room was freezing. The heaters did not work. Asked 3 times to get a different heater and did not get one. The room wasn’t cleaned. Slow service. However the rooms were furnished and nice and well decorated

Room was great and breakfast buffet in mornings was good. However, the day of arriving at the hotel I was robbed up the street. I came back to the hotel as I was in london alone and told concierge. He was very hesitant to help me. I asked him to help me call the police he said he couldn’t. I then said I needed to and he let me behind the desk to use the computer and phone. But I was made feel even worse even after such a horrible thing to happen to me. They made me feel like I was nuisance and in the way. Nobody asked me was I ok even though I was clearly in distress. I then after asked to make another phone call, but was to ireland to my partner to let him know what happened and why he wouldn’t be able to get threw to my phone. The employee then said no again. He told me that the hotel does not make outside like calls. I replied back that a hotel in central london does not have international guests that they might need to contact about a reservation? He then replied to me again they didn’t have outside line. I asked to speak to his manager, he wouldn’t get him and I had to then search for the manager. I explained what happened and he let me use the phone. But was not very friendly. I understand they are a busy hotel but I felt that in a time of need as a person they were very less than compassionate towards me.

I stayed here as part of mandatory hotel quarantine upon return to the UK. This review is not related to the general situation but I focus purely on the hotel. The staff were lovely trying to make the best out of a difficult situation. They were kind, patient, considerate, polite and everyone including the manager went out of their way to help. The food consistently improved during my 12 day stay and no request was ever denied. I hope I can come back in better times! Thank you to everyone at the hotel for taking care of me and so many guests, all with their specific requirements and requests!

Great price in advance for this hotel with Agoda decent room and no scrum at breakfast

A really nice place within 5 minutes walk from the tube. Attended a large black tie dinner and the food was superb as were the staff who looked after us.

I stayed in this hotel for 10days of my quarantine, and everything was perfect! Staffs are very caring, and professional. Whenever I requested for anything it just came within half an hour maximum. The food was good. I don’t know why people are complaining about this place! The hotel is located in a premium location with good spacious rooms and 4-5 options for food everyday. Covid tests were done on time and I enjoyed my stay. Thanks for everything.
H. G.
Great location, friendly service but after having been used for several moths as a "quarantine" hotel, our stay was not a true 4* experience. Hopefully in time it will get back to normal
I. H.
Very nice hotel, comfortable , friendly staff ,good buffet breakfast , 2 mins from tube , will visit again

When we arrived we were told they only had small rooms left BUT we could upgrade for a extra £30 per night , I explained what I had booked and it was not a small room so the did upgrade us for free , it was a large room with a large office desk and chair okay if you are there on business very large comfy bed .Breakfast looked okay but on both mornings it was very cold , not sure if I would stay there again .

Stay in the hotel twice now when I have in London for business really great service especially from Mosheik

Very nice ideally placed for our trip to RAH. Comfortable rooms, helpful staff.

Good morning. We stayed at your hotel from the 15-26 may for our quarantine.
Our room was clean and comfortable. The reception helpful. The security staff were always happy to take us for a walk. Unfortunately the food was not acceptable, especially as I have just heard from a friend staying at Heathrow, getting salmon bagels, and delicious salads, where we got grey sausages in a soggy roll and limp lettuce leaves with half an olive. Although I enjoy Indian food, a choice of 3 Indian meals at each meal.... no veggies and the children’s meals were certainly not healthy but sometimes a better choice. I have not written a review sooner as I had presumed this is what all quarantine hotels were offering. Very disappointed to hear we got the raw end of the deal. If it had not been for the supply of healthy food our son/friends dropped off.

Lovely hotel, good sized beds, breakfast was ok, but not very hot.

Great stay at this hotel again.
From walking through the front door val and the concierge team are attentive and friendly lifting your luggage and opening doors for everyone.
The check in was smooth thanks to savan and the front desk team.
Mr Van Dam the G.M came over and upgraded the room which was a lovely gesture.
The place has a great buzzy feel to it after lockdown too.
The breakfast was amazing with lots to choose from with foods from different countries.
We met the F&B manager IAN whilst having breakfast and he was lovely/professional and friendly.
Great nights sleep as the hotel is so quiet and feels really safe as security and night staff are in lobby when returning to hotel in the evening chatting to guests.
Best hotel in kensington by far.
Cant rate this hotel high enough.

Very nice hotel, perfect location, good breakfast, cosy room but little cold

Top food... brilliant taste and superb service I’m staying here in this hotel for 10 day quarantine as I came back from red list country. Had loads of doubts and fears as per social media and other rumours.. but when we arrived here everything was perfect.. welcoming staff .. girl at reception (Beettie) I think her name is. The quality of food and huge choices.. honestly it’s like staying in home. They give loads of fruits, juices, milk, tea, coffee, water and so many other things They also allow you to go outside for walk/smoke 4 times a day. I wish everyone get this hotel. Some of my friends stayed in other hotels and the service they offered them was horrible. One of them had 2 under five years old kids with them and the hotel administration didn’t even provide them enough milk.. every time they asked for milk they gave them in plastic cups.. once again thanks 🙏 Millennium Gloucester hotel Kensington Harrington Rd London for such a great service

Hi thr, To be honest and compared to other quarantine hotels its quite good and decent.Being still in quarantine in same hotel, Here Everyday u can choose different selection of food and service is 1 call away. And the service and things they give is way too much Good. I must appreciate, thanks
K. H.
Nice big hotel. Large rooms. Very clean. Openable windows with garden views reception staff very good. Big smart tvs.
I'm giving 3 Star to the hotel for not having air-conditioning it's too hot in the rooms.
J. B.
Decent hotel located in Kensington, close to the underground.

Our experience was likely sullied by the fact that it was quarantine. Pros were a mostly friendly staff and manager Chris tried hard to accommodate us despite spinning from the amount of people there in quarantine. The fact that we were there for 10 days and could not link our computer to the TV to watch Netflix and the like was disappointing, and the rooms were extremely warm. Biggest issue was the quality of the food, especially breakfast.
I imagine, outside of being a quarantine hotel, the experience would have been much better.
Having had time to get past the quarantine thing, I have adjusted my rating to 4 stars.

I stayed here along with my baby as part of quarantine. Honest to say, it was good experience. Because of babys needs I made many requests to the reception and they all were met without any delay. Moreover, being an asian I loved the food. They did give many option for food. Its a lovely hotel to stay in

Been to this hotel for my managed quarantine for 10 days. Initially bit worried with mixed reviews on web about this hotel. But fortunately the staff were very welcoming from day 0 till my day 11 there. Used to get calls every 2 days about wellbeing checks. Decent walking space.
Regarding the food, though the menu is not so diverse, you get to order an extra item if you would like to. The staff delivered everytime i request for an extra item. Overall stay was decent, because i basically prepared for worse 😂
A. J.
Great venue in the centre of Londons hustle and bustle. But a tad worn out and could do with a bit of a refresh.
T. F. U.
Considering where it is and how much you pay the hotel is seriously in need of an upgrade. The rooms are pretty dull and basic no luxury no modern touch. It’s convenient and the staff from what I found on my visit were really nice but the rooms are not acceptable
z. a.
I stayed here for 13 days and I must say I can not fault the hotel or the staff, the food was way too much and was warm when it arrived. I was very happy with the way the reception sent what ever I wanted to my room ie toiletries, cups, sugar, coffee, tea, towels and bed sheets, fantastic service, one day when things go back to normal I will be coming back, thank you to all the security guards they were fantastic too,

Mandatory hotel quarantine 1-11 May. Rooms were spacious and adequate, massive TV, internet worked well although one had to reconnect frequently. Food is served at variable times and not always within the two hour window, quality varied hugely from fairly dreadful to outstanding. One major disaster area was the walking courtyard with smokers everywhere, could easily be sectioned in one area and walking arranged in a particular order. What lifted the overall experience from a two star to the 4.5 star I would give was the General Manager Chris van Dam. His passion for improvement , willingness to be contacted, and his insistence to lead from the front (personally brought the meal bags after the wrong order was sent twice) made a huge difference. He also gave permission for walking in the car park driveway for medical reasons which was a life saver. Bear in mind the reason of only just starting as a quarantine hotel can only be used for so long but if all the initial problems or most of them have been ironed out then this is probably one of the better locations one might be lucky to be assigned to arriving from a red list country. The major problems we had were with government security, testing procedures and other controls outside the domain of hotel management. Even here the manager tried to help, thank you Chris. I hope one day we can stay in better times and enjoy the facilities and the location fully, alas entirely lost on us this time. Rooms 766 and 768.

We were greeted with a smile and were quickly seated as they found our rooms. The rooms were large and exceptionally clean and included a good TV. The bathroom was very clean and spacious and provided enough towels too. There was overnight parking for only £20 which is amazing (especially for London). The staff and room maintenance were very polite and helpful, all hours. It is located near many museums, restaurants and a train station which makes it easy to have a good day out! Overall, it was one of the best hotels I've been to and a wonderful stay. 5 stars!
V. K.
Stayed here to comply with 10 days hotel quarantine coz of international travel....Excellent ambience. Hotel staff was polite, food was amazing..had indian veg and non veg options to choose from, food arrived on time each and every day..very impressed!!! Was looked after very well for 10 days so much so that I am going to have a hard time going back to my normal life of cooking, cleaning and washing at home all by myself!!! 😊
G. L.
Although my experience stems from quarantine, which was soul destroying, I found the hotel to be decaying in places. Insufficient ventilation in the room (the window doesn't open) and very old smell, even for a smoker. Staff are the only highlight. Definitely not a good recommendation at all.
R. S.
I stayed there as a quarantine hotel. But the lobby of the hotel and the location were a big plus. I cannot review about the room service as yet cuz being a quarantine hotel there was no room service as such. But the room was a good size and well had every thing to make a stay comfortable.

Love this hotel, love the hotel staff more, excellent ratings - lovely stay. We recommend this hotel, parking is available, fully secure. Look out for Betty she is amazing and will provide you with everything you need. Been coming to this hotel for the past year. Spacious rooms, large showers. Excellent room service. Easy to commute central and hotspots ❤️

Could not fault this lovely and well organised hotel came back from a red list country had to qurantine for 10 days services was great breakfast lunch dinner was on point excellent service keep up the good work

lovely big room and lovely big comfortable beds. We didn't arrive until 9am, I had a quick shower which was warm but not hot then my husband had a shower and the water was luke warm. It was too late in the evening to say anything. In the morning I had a wash, i ran the hot tap for quite some time and no hot water at all.
When I checked out i mentioned this to reception, he asked if I said anything which I didn't in the evening as it was too late and in the morning we didnt have time as we had to leave for work!
About 11pm there were some very loud strange noises from nearby!

My name is Amanda Setton, I stayed in Millennium during 20/06 to 01/07.
Security Duty manager Mr Singh is excellent and kind person who looked after me very well during my quarantine stay in Millennium including dealing with my delays on Covid results, provided me emotional support due to my disability where I get panic attacks when things goes wrong, Mr singh also conducted welfare checks on me time to time. Hotel staff itself also very professional and kind. I must say it’s worth staying in this hotel 🏨.

Staff helpful, room good size, big bed, tv and internet. Food very poor, did not cater for British taste, all meat was halal, lots of really spicy food, great if from India or an Arab country!
A. A.
This hotel is being used as a quarantine hub and I had to wait 45 minutes to collect my niece before I could take her to Euston train station. Staff were helpful but just did not deliver. The delay caused us problems with our booked cab however still it took so long to get porters.

First class 5* service
Millennium Gloucester Road greeted my family with a wonderful welcoming smile and that was the standard set for an exceptional experience. The hotel isn’t just clean it’s sparkling clean. The hotel is polished and gleaming. Bedrooms are just as you would hope for, The sheets were so clean and freshly ironed. Breakfast was 5 star quality. It was prepared by a chef who knows what he’s doing, the eggs were poached perfectly.
I have stayed at the Millenium on several occasions and having now returned after lockdown I have no hesitation in recommending others to stay.
It’s fabulous and you won’t be disappointed, London is looking great we are having an amazing trip visiting the tourist sites. Full marks to all the staff at the hotel, you’re doing and amazing job and all your efforts very much appreciated.
Thank you 🙏

DO NOT STAY WITH THIS HOTEL WHETHER YOU STAY WITH THEM FOR BUSINESS, LEISURE or QUARANTINE PURPOSES!!
My Mother, Father and Grandmother stayed for quarantine purposes and payed a total of £3050 for a 10night stay due to government guidelines and this was the hotel provided.
They were given a 1 room for all 3 of them and that being said the food was horrid, bedding has not been provided or towels to change in the 10days and I have pictures which evidence this! After the 10 days they were then told they would be provided with transport back to the airport via services provided and have been lied to by either the hotel, CTS Security or G4S who took the call from the room 326 and told the shuttle would arrive shortly. They then waited patiently for over half hour at the entrance and when they asked how long the shuttle would be they were told it had left which is absolutely appalling.
No one within the hotel was willing to take the responsibility and keep passing the book and problem over to one another. They have gone from pillar to post from the security to the hotel who no one is able to provide them with an answer.
I have then personally contacted the hotel on the behalf of my parents to raise this as an issue and complaint but Richard (hotel receptionist) advised me that he was unable to deal with this issue as it would be either G4S or CTS who would deal with it so I then requested to be put through to the security for me to speak to someone. I was then put through to a man called Faisal who would not give me his name to begin with and then I asked for a manager but no manager was on hand or shift but the phone line was then disconnected (this happened on 2 separate occasions). I have then managed to find out from Faisal that the manager on duty who was not available was called Abu-Bakr and he would call me back but no call has been returned and the phone call again was disconnected on me which I found appalling and rude to say the least.
All 3 of my family members are now having to leave by personal paid transport to be able to get themselves and their luggage to the airport for them to return home in Manchester and they are elderly and will struggle.
Millennium Hotels have taken up this contract with both security firms and also the responsibility to ensure they provide all guests a level of respect and service to give them a pleasure of staying with them however this has not been adhered to in any way. The government have allowed this hotel to take up the guests who are returning from Red Zone countries yet this has not been followed up to ensure the customers/guests are satisfied which I feel needs to be raised and followed up to withdraw this contact from this hotel as they are not providing customers with the level of service which has been agreed.
I will be taking this matter further to the press and also to other government departments if this matter is not resolved and I would like this to be a level 1 complaint and will raise this as a level 2 if this matter has not been resolved.
Update-20/06: After speaking with Chris (hotel manager) he agreed to disagree with certain points however I did mention to Chris this was nothing personal but simply some feedback for him to ensure the hotel is providing sufficient care and hospitality for the people who are staying with them under quarantine and not treated with neglect.
Chris then sign posted Abu-Bakar (G4S manager) to give me a call which he did to be able to vent the frustrations to him, Abu-Bakar did state he would ensure to action the issues and deal with them accordingly and will update me but I have not had any update or communication since.
I have only raised this feedback, so anyone who stays with the hotel are aware of the services they will be receiving however more importantly anyone who stays with this hotel will be treated the way my parents were when they stayed.
I have reviewed my feedback and overall rating and as promised revised it to a 3star due to Chris and his involvement and also for him getting involved to finding a solution.

The staff were friendly, excellent service all round great experience we will book again

We were allocated Millennium Gloucester Hotel in Kensington for our 10 day quarantine and there were a few hiccups to start off with but all resolved instantly and the staff were friendly especially the GM who was extremely helpful. We were allocated the Ambassador Suite and this was like a mini apartment which was lovely. We had two bedrooms + dining room + bath with walk-in shower and toilet + bath with toilet + WC + dressing table area with hair dryer. Robes and slippers given upon arrival and toiletries, mini toothpaste with toothbrush, even provided with Henry hoover when asked. If you like asian food then you don't need to worry as the food was nice but the non-asian food isn't as good and there's no desserts but the hotel do offer a 24hr room menu service so you can order through them or order externally. The bedroom walls were beautifully painted with for e.g. Westminster which gave the London feel and the walking area had palm trees. The windows opened and one of our windows opened fully. Thank you Millennium Gloucester Hotel for a great quarantine stay especially Chris who went out of his way and was always on hand to help, it is very much appreciated.

Hotel staff are very courteous and do their best to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Rooms are clean and well furnished, food is decent and facilities modern

My stay here on my 10 days quarantine has been brilliant.staff always friendly and helpful,Food fantastic always on time and always bring you water to drink.
Thank you so much Milinnium Gloucester Hotel.

I stayed here with my wife for a couple days and they treated us very well. Aurora checked us in and was very easy to deal with and went beyond expectations in helping us throughout our stay and the rooms were comfy I think the bathrooms could be updated but Mo and all the others welcomed us with a smile which is I think what makes a big difference. Will be back again soon!

Had to stay here for my hotel quarantine. Excellent hotel, spacious rooms, courteous staff. Couldn't explore all that the hotel had to offer but when the pandemic is over and the hotel is back to normal wouldn't hesitate visiting it.
M. K.
I stayed at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel as part of my quarantine from 11th June to 22nd June.
The room was clean, requests were attended immediately and there was support from staff across the board (Reception, House keeping, Security, Catering) making my quarantine very enjoyable.
A special mention to Chris van Dam the General Manager at the hotel. He personally called me , asked for feedback and requested to be notified if there was anything that was not upto the mark. Hats off to his dedication
I look forward to staying again after the restrictions are lifted.
Thank you Chris and team. You set a new HIGH benchmark for the hospitality industry.
Thank you.

Enjoyed the stay here. Good staff and service. The hotel is in proximity to tourist attractions and transport terminals

P. S.
The room is comfortable, staff are very helpful and efficient. Food was good. Doing 10 days quarantine is much easier when staff are this pleasant
M. n.
Very good service food was at good standard very nice and comfortable rooms stayed 11 days in quarantine had no problems staff very helpful and polite dealt with within query straight away over all Happy with my experience

Amazing 10/10, everything I could ask for, and a HUGE TV in every room, I would guess about 55inches very classy furniture the only thing I could really ask them to improve on is the wait time for the reception to answer the phone, other then that it has been perfect, great food, amazing WiFi good quality furniture and an open layout room service is amazing too, housekeeping is always delivering something eg. Water ,new duvet, and anything you ask for they bring at an instant.
M. A.
Nice hotel, with a nice crew.
The rooms are decent and the food is fine.

I used Millennium Gloucester for my work. The rooms were immaculate, the staff were professional , attentive and knowledgeable. I stayed during the pandemic and I must admit I was really impressed with the way they handled the situation, with all the restriction in place and adhered to the current government guidelines and rules. Mo was very friendly and professional during check in. Highly recommended

House keeping Knocked twice in the morning at 9.30 to see when checking out ,staff yawning when checking in and not too polite

This is not a 5 star hotel because of its decor or furnishings. Our family room had seen better days, although the beds were comfortable and it was perfectly adequate.
But for less than £100 per night, within walking distance of the National History Museum, Harrods and Harvey Nics, that was not surprising. What lifts this hotel up is the 5 star service. From check in, to breakfast, to enquiries about local amenities and more, the staff could not be more helpful, cheerful and focussed on you, the visitor. Whoever owns this place should be very proud of their service team. Oh, and the breakfast was great too. Excellent value for money and we will come again.

Great stay at the Millennium. We were here on our wedding anniversary having been to the Bombay Brasserie next door. The staff looked after us so well considering the Covid restrictions in place at the time. We couldn't try the restaurant as a result but will do the next time we visit. Thanks guys.

Room service and food can be improved. It is actually a hotel that is not bad. Prices could go down.

Great venue for business meetings and to celebrate and organise companies events. Excellent customer service. This hotel is well maintained and decoration is beautiful, matching the architecture of the building. The only downside was the food. Although presentation and flavours were nicely combined, they take very seriously that quality is more important than quantity. Having great percentage of truth that fact, I believe the management take the lowest limit in terms of portion size. My opinion is that a proper dinner should not be compared with a wine tasting experience, where the customer is not drinking a glass of fine wine but simply a zip of it to taste it. I believe that should not be the case for the food. Otherwise, I highly recommend this hotel, this venue is well located with easy access and several transport alternatives. Friendly staff add positive energy to the whole experience.

Lovely hotel, very clean! Hand sanitiser on entrance and exit. Staff were absolutely brilliant, very attentive without being annoying. We decided to have breakfast before we left Sunday and we were suitably impressed. The chef made pancakes for our children which they loved, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed here as it is within walking distance of the NHM, although we found alternative parking 15 mins walk away as the hotel carpark is £40 per night. Really enjoyed our stay, our family room was well equipped (no straighteners). Still not sure how to work the aircon but this is the case in most places we stay! No bar or restaurant open due to COVID but there are lots of places to eat near the hotel and tube just around the corner. Would definitely recommend.
P. S.
Staying in the hotel for quarantine.
The food served is typically ENGLISH but it's appreciable that on our repeated requests they have managed to serve the Indian food which is such a relief .... thanks to the team for making this effort
Good job

Very nice. Rooms had lots of useful mini toiletries shampoo and shoe shine. The upstairs bar was very nice and the palm trees were a unique touch.

Had to stay for quarantine. Nice experience overall. Staff was very helpful and food was also good.

Great location, amazing staff. Very spacious clean room , COVID protocol was taken very seriously. Can’t thank enough Mo and reception team for going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I will definitely come back.
Regards,

Good things: Price/Location was great. Location is also pretty good, 30 seconds from Subway station. Staff is great too (although they didn't know if water was potable). You don't hear any noise from the room.
Bad things: Rooms are quite old (+20years) and breakfast is a bit packed, the hotel is pretty big and people tend to go at the same time.
I would come back if rooms were a bit more modern.
C. E.
It's really awesome. I love the place about 1000 rooms but most importantly I love the amazing staffs and security pals I av der.
J. D.
The reception and the staff are very nice. The bed comfortable but the room was dirty and stank of cigarette. The bathroom was not very clean some hairs in the bath and the smell of cigarette and dampness in the plastic curtain, the bath didn’t drain either. I asked to be changed and was offered an upgrade if I paid extra or to downgrade for free! I asked for the room to be cleaned properly while I was out but they didn't. As compensation they offered me a free breakfast valued at £22 but worth £7.

I have stayed at Millenuim Glouster over 50 times. The staff are wonderful and the area is out of this world. I could stay anywhere but always choose to come here. Nothing is to much trouble. Its like the staff are family. Wonderful team.
L. C.
Very comfortable place. Clean, quiet. Breakfast is good. Only complaint...fire alarms went off at 1 am on Monday, hotel TV channel had a message up saying this is the time they test the fire alarms. This should have been communicated up front upon check-in. My family had two hours sleep in the last 24 hours, so being woken up to unnecessary alarms was infuriating.
P. M.
Was here for quarantine food is good .The people are so nice plus the rooms are so pretty.
A. L. (.
Excellent service, was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean, but was slightly small and not the best view of some pubs but this is London so you can't expect too much in terms of view and size. They had really nice bathroom facilities and the room itself was decorated beautifully.
M. M.
The experience here has been great. The security has been amazing reception has been amazing would definitely recommend to everyone. Rooms r speacious beds r rllyyy bouncy 😂
M. G.
Love the staff here, good hotel nice and spacious! Breakfast was one of the best full english's I have had and love how it is customisable so i can take my coffee and croissant on the go! Nice bar and the check in staff on night of the 20th and morning of 21st and 22nd were great and night porters were very friendly throughout! Will definitely be looking out for millenium hotels in the future hopefully all are as well run as this one!
B. A.
We stayed here for 10 days .The room was clean with very comfortable beds. The bathrooms were sparkling .The staff were extremely courteous and every small requests was met .The food provided had variety and met with dietary requirements..On time , clean and we were overwhelmed with fresh fruit and enough food to never need to order room service..Really .We were surprised that a central London Hotel was so nice..And ..I have never seen such polite and obliging staff.Highly recommended
s. j.
Good hotel but needs modernisation. Definitely go for the Club Room. Nice Beds and amenities. The Manager (Chris) was very helpful and accomodating. Its in a good location. Knightsbridge is a 25 min walk or short taxi ride away.
N. S.
Originally I thought it was alright, however the longer I stayed, the more disdain I had. The water in the shower was good, however the floor was a little bit on the worse side for the bathroom. The Fire alarm went off twice during my visit, once at 8am, and another time at 1am on the day I was leaving and had to wake up at 4am. The food was good for breakfast, and the people were helpful for the most part. But it is pretty much what it’s rating is, a 3.9.

We had booked a Superior Plus Twin Room back in February and paid in full at time of booking. On arrival we were allocated a twin room which clearly was not Superior Plus (Website now refers to Club Rooms I believe)
We returned immediately to Reception - showed them the confirmation email and said the room we had been allocated was not of an acceptable quality. It was tired and dated with a grubby armchair in the corner.
Receptionist admitted room was only basic standard, after a conversation with her manager we were moved to another room. This room was much better quality and there was more space. We enjoyed our two nights stay and all staff were friendly and courteous..
To summarise, we were disappointed to not be given the room we had paid for but the complaint was resolved quickly and without delay. Hotel location is good and public areas are excellent. Concierge staff were the best, so helpful and cheerful.
D. S.
Ensure that the quality of the room you order online is what you expect. We arrived to find sub-standard conditions. Also, read the fine print, carefully, when ordering discounted rates online, as they typically do not grant refunds.
And always remember: "the squeaky wheel gets greased". We do not like to complain, but this time, it went up two management levels to get what we felt was deserved.

Rooms were nice and clean with fairly good amenities, however, the bathroom was quite small and had a bath/shower combo with a showerhead maybe 1.6 meters off the floor, which is fine for my small fiancee but I had to bend over to wash my hair. There were also some hairs in the basin when we arrived.
Breakfast buffet was excellent but the coffee machine didn't produce a quality cappuccino you'd expect for what we were paying per night. Staff were attentive and very friendly.
S.
Great hotel with very helpful staff - and many staff available to assist. Fantastic effort on the Christmas decorations, and our party's meal was slightly different but very tasty. I'd love to stay a little longer to see more of this hotel and the facilities.
S. A.
Always find the Millennium a wonderful place.
Clean, beautiful and professional staff - couldn't recommend higher.
The glass conservatory is particularly beautiful - we had our wedding reception there!
P. V.
We read the reviews online after booking the hotel and were worried as most of the reviews said heating don’t work, rooms are dated, staff doesn’t speak English etc
My experience was completely opposite.
All the staff speak english and are polite and very accommodating. Every time we called reception, house keeping and room service. They replied instantly. Service was very quick as well.
Heating was perfectly fine in the room. The room was clean and spacious. Actually better than the photo on website.
We stayed at the 6th floor and had access to Club Lounge which was quite useful if you need a quite space to work and relax and have access to coffee and snacks.
Overall, we had a great stay. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommended.
J. C.
Entrance and lobby looks immaculate. All staff very friendly and helpful. I stopped on level 5 in a club room. Seems basic and dated. Stains on the floor. Tares in the wallpaper. Writing on the desk (could clean off surely) writing in the menu. The bathroom looks as it had in the past year had fresh sealent put around the sink and bath but some area still bad. It was cleaned well by staff but the overall look is old. The carpets and wallpaper look like they have been there since it opened. Seems expensive for the quality of the rooms.
R. P.
I came here for a workshop in the orchard hall and it was great. The halls are a good size, the acoustics are good too. Luckily they don't have massive speakers in one place where people in front are blasted at so people at the back can hear! The speakers are all around and fitted to the ceiling which was super. The facilities for the conference hall were great too.
I didn't stay in the hotel room, but someone that did said the rooms were quite dated and basic. Which is a shame because the lobby and downstairs area is gorgeous.
A. G.
Lobby and dining areas were impressive. Food was excellent. Housekeeping staff however disappointed us. Left instructions for them twice, but still were ignored. Resorted to concierge for results. TV did not work the entire time. Decor is a bit dated, carpeting is worn thin not on par with 4 star rating. Staff were polite but not what I would call accommodating. Room was not ready at check in. Upon checking out, they would not grant us an additional hour to pack. We did get an upgrade, because they accidentally booked us for 2 twin beds instead of a king size, which I requested. Certainly the rate we paid was not for twin accom-modations. Location is nice if you want to take taxis and underground everywhere. Only close to some museums.
J. I.
Went there for business trip. Great sized conference rooms for big or small events. Staff were always friendly and happy to help. Rooms were spacious and had all necessities in, although the iron was not a steam iron. Only downside was the food was not amazing, but this may be due to our team of 200 coming in. It was more like a posh buffet. Overall an amazing experience
K. R.
Future guest beware, the reservations department can botch up your reservation and you're given double rooms instead of twin rooms, and it's up to you to document your confirmation (which they never send).
Make sure you receive a written confirmation, otherwise you're in for a long verbal argument with front desk about your room.
Ultimately and only through escalation, the staff stepped up and provided rollaway beds instead of refunding the entire prepaid amount so we could go elsewhere.
Hotel is at a great location, rooms are OK, water pressure in shower is great! Would perhaps stay here again (and demand written confirmation from reservations department).

Friend's birthday party celebration. Had drinks in one of the reception rooms downstairs which was super roomy. Then moved to the second floor for the actual bash. I wasn't excepting the room to be that nice but it was beautiful. Super high glass ceilings and glass walls. It was late in the evening so not sure whether the glass walls and ceilings are see through. Dance area a bit smaller than expected but I suppose it depends on the number of guests. Bar to the side and great service from waiting staff. Reception staff and Porters super helpful and polite.
E. C.
Attended a 3 day summit workshop at the Millennium. The conference room facilities was quiet comfortable, room temperature was a little cold. It would have been nice if the toilets were much closer to the conference room. Staff were very friendly especially the young lady who attended to the ladies toilet beside reception (well done).
Lunch was delicious, staff made sure all my needs were met with top satisfaction

This hotel was great. We recently stayed there twice for a few days at a time on our trip. The rooms were spacious, well furnished, cleaned well daily, and the staff was superb. Our favorite feature is that it is steps from the Picadilly Underground line and easy to travel to/from Heathrow. Also a large Market, Shop’s, Restaurant and pub were just a few doors down.
J. C.
Lovely, attentive staff. We took a chance and got here 3 hours prior to check-in and we were lucky that the front desk were able to check us in straight away. Hotel is very nice and cosy. Bathroom is a bit small but still nice. Only issue was that housekeeping knocked on the door (twice) at 9:30am which woke us up after a late night out on a Saturday morning. We only stayed for 1 night so housekeeping was not necessary. Other than that, couldn't fault our stay at all. Will definitely be back. :)
R. K.
I only stayed for 1 night, but really enjoyed it. The room was adequate for a one night stay. Bathroom had a tub/shower combination (which I'm not too crazy about), but WIFI and TV channels were great. Also, perfect location as it is next to Gloucester Road Tube station. I gave it only 4 stars because my room was on the second floor without any view.

During my stay previous week there were a number of things that made me uncomfortable an unsatisfied:
1. The air conditioning and room vantalation were were extreemly bad and caused me bad sleeping experience. Not to mention that I frequently stay at this hotel and room air conditioning were this way defected since at least 7 months.
2. The fire siren (alarm) rings almost everyday, day and nigh, that made so mad and extreemly uncomfortable sleeping.
3. My room used to get clean everyday wich is good, but the shampos and shower gels were never replaced for three days in a row.
4. One of my friends had smoked in his room (which is a big mistake), but one of the room service men took a photo of him smooking through the other side window, and later came to my friend to blackmail him in order to force him to pay 200 pounds in secret, otherwise he would tell the police and hotel responsibles to cause him a big truble. This kind of thing i have never seen in my life which makes me extreemly concious not to stay at this hotel anymore again.
5. The room service members never respect the red sign hanged on the door knob, and tend to wake me up early to finish the cleaning. Which also makes it extreemly difficult to have a good sleep at this hotel.
As i mentioned at the begining that im a frequent customer at this hotel since many years ago, but during this recent year, things has gone so different. I wish they consider and respect their clients as soon as possible, otherwise no loyal customer would ever come again.

I’m so torn about this hotel. I’d probably give it l a 3.7. The location is amicable because of the closeness to the UnderGround. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and the price was right. So stayed two nights so I dealt with the cold room and street light outside my room window (no black-out curtains). I wondered if my son and I were just given the worst room in the place and maybe all the others were much nicer. I’d say the lobby and first floor business area were the most updated and attractive areas. The bedroom furniture was so outdated. Drawers slanted, furniture chipped and carpet corners lifting. Very in need of a makeover/renovation. In summary, if just a couple of nights and like me you are looking for a deal on the stay...go for it! If aesthetics matter to you then maybe not.
C. M.
Clean rooms and facilities. Friendly staff. Breakfast is pretty good. Club benefits are OK, but the hours for free snacks and drinks could be a bit longer. Location is really great for a number of attractions. I'd stay here again for sure.
P. C.
Great location virtually on Gloucester Road tube station with plenty of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants close by. Hotel staff were well trained and pleasant and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was plentiful and offered good coffee. Nothing to dislike here.
D. A.
Great hotel in a fantastic position. All the staff I encountered during my visit were polite and helpful throughout my stay here. The facilities were as expected and had everything I needed. The only slight downside from me is that the decoration and facades need in places to be updated, some areas, including my room were very tired, but still clean and fit for purpose.
P. B.
This is a hotel of contradictions! The website photo shows Trafalgar Square because the building doesn't have a visible facia. However the reception is truly impressive with plenty of seating, large reception, attentive staff - worthy of a photo!
I was there for a conference and they provided all the needed facilities with great efficiency and enthusiasm.
My room was on the 7th floor. Not a great view, but, having looked at the fire exit floor plan, I would conclude that there more of the rooms have uninteresting views. The room itself was immaculately clean, very comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The shower (over the bath) was a bit slow and I would have liked it too be a bit higher up as I am quite tall.
There room was well equipped including WiFi and a free-to-use telephone which looked like a mobile phone. A nice feature. Overall the room was a little tired, but not "worn" as often seems to the case with London hotels.
Breakfast buffet was fine - rather than amazing.
Location was good - near an underground station and plenty of pubs and restaurants.
T. M.
Mostly I love to tell people what a wonderful experience I had at a given hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. The room was clean with all amenities to hand. We arrived to hotel and we were offered a room from floor. Breakfast was adequate but mgmt there less than friendly.
S. F.
Very nice hotel. All the staff I dealt with were friendly. No restraunt in the hotel but there are a few close and the hotel does room service. Room decor is maybe starting to look a little dated but overall excellent.
G. T.
Loved it. Many eating places nearby. Across the street from the Gloucester tube station. Convenient. We were upgraded to a large room for our anniversary. Spacious. Clean. Fresh. The breakfast buffet was good, offering many selections. And concierge was always helpful. I recommend this hotel for London visits.
J. M.
last floor for party, amazing
M. H.
The staff were unbelievable from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were fantastic! Great location too. Will definitely stay again
L. S.
It was a good place to stay, but the rooms could use a little renovation and could be cleaner. On the plus side, our room was quite spacious.
My other main issue was that the internet was a little on the slow side. I was getting speeds of roughly 250kb/s. Also, the quality of the room service food was disappointing.
The staff was generally nice, but some of the from desk people were a little rude during morning times.
I think with some upgrades, this could truly be a gem located in a fantastic spot in London!
S. J.
Very good service . There are 95+ rooms in one floor . Food is okay and nicely furnished rooms . Very good experience.
C. H.
Apart from s mix up with the room, I liked this hotel. Very nice breakfast and comfortable bed. The conference facilities and catering were also very good. Good location too, without lovely pubs and restaurants nearby as well as the Natural History Museum.
A. M.
Located conveniently next to Gloucester Road tube station, this hotel offers a well priced room close to the city. Check in was fast and smooth. Staff friendly and welcoming. Rooms could do with a face lift but you don't come all the way to London to sit in a hotel room. The important thing is the bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean. Enjoyed my stay here and would stay again.
A. D.
A very nice hotel with very attentive staff. Our room was nicely appointed, although the window was faulty and could not be shut fully, allowing a rather persistent and cold draught in. Otherwise a pleasant stay, for a good price.

A Very Nice Experience to Stay at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel London (Kensington Area).
It's really value for Money and great experience.
Very Convenient Location. Excellent Food-Brakfast. Nice Staff and very good amenities..
M. D.
It’s a lovely hotel in central London, near Gloucester Road underground. It’s very posh, fairly expensive. There are very few parking spaces, do use a cab. I came here for a fashion show, everyone I met was lovely. Nice big banquette Hall. Toilets of high standard. Great when visiting London.
E. N.
This hotel is amazing. Rom the room to the location. It's right next to Gloucester Road station and there are so many restaurants and and supermarkets around which makes it so easy to find whatever you need at whatever time. Staff are amazingly friendly and so helpful. The gym is big and so are the rooms. My stay here is always so wonderful.
P. D.
Such a pleasant experience to stay at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel London (Kensington). It's a real worth the money and a wonderful experience. It's very convenient place. Incredible food, breakfast. Good staff and great facilities.
J. O.
Had my wedding ceremony here and it was brilliant. The staff, William, Karen and Bianca were a pleasure dealing with and made our wedding day the best ever. This is an excellent place to celebrate and stay! Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place that provides excellent facilities and services.
C. C.
Very disappointing. Looks good but no backup. Staff not very interested. Coffee all froth. Noisy disco kept us awake. Bathroom dated. Ok if you get it cheap and are hard of hearing! Wouldn't repeat the experience. They are trading on old reputations.
A. Z.
The hotel has a very good location, so, you can reach the Gloucester Road Station in less than 1 minute walking from the hotel. This property has spacious rooms, cleaned and friendly staff. I would stay again and recommend my friends to book with this hotel.
R. S.
I stayed here under quarantine. Very organized and efficient. Well situated tube station on the same street.
S. F.
Enjoyed our stay very much. Spacious room, good breakfast, nice little bar for a nightcap. Also, very close to the tube so easy to get around the city.
T. N.
Had really good experience staying in this hotel for 10 days quarantine.Food was really good.
A. C.
Pleasant stay. In a great, safe and quiet location. Right across the street from Gloucester Road station
The room we had was a great size. Comfortable bed and good pillow selection.
Maids seemed to overlook some things each day, but pretty minor detail.
Would stay here again
T. M.
Fortunately for us we booked this hotel earlier in the year at a very good rate. All the amenities you need for a pleasant comfortable and quiet nights sleep. Don't worry about offering an expensive breakfast because you won't go wrong with the restaurant selection nearby in particular try the Fais Maison.
A. A.
Booked the club room on offer at hotel website. Excellent value for money at the time. Access to club lounge was superb. The hotel is well managed with very helpful and friendly staff. The room is very spacious and hotel is located next to Gloucester Station , so you have many restaurants, bars, waitrose and a 24h Tesco next door to the hotel.
B. S.
The hotel was in a great location just right near the tube station and there were bars and food places, supermarkets on the doorstep. The reception/bar area were very impressive and looked amazing. It was just a shame about the rooms. This was our first stay in London and we were very disappointed especially for the money we paid, the rooms looked very tired and in need of a refurb, there was paper peeling off the walls and curtains falling down. We were also put in a disabled room which we didn't need so struggled with some of the facilities like the low basin. The air conditioning had broken in one of the rooms and was permanently on which was noisy and very cold. We had tea and coffee facilities in the room yet no kettle? I am not sure whether all the rooms are like this or whether we were just unlucky and got a room that needs a refurb but based on our experience we wouldn't stay there again unless we got a better room.
A. R. V.
In general the hotel is not bad at all the rooms are comfortable and the furniture is well kept, the bathroom is spacious and bright reception is the most beautiful of the hotel, the breakfast is well organized variety and the food they serve is very good , the reception, dining and cleaning service are very nice and helpful the cleaning of the rooms is very good. The location is great right in front you have the entrance to the subway, several supermarkets and restaurants
The only defect that I find is the bathroom that the tiles of the floor need to change because most of them are broken as they clash with the rest that everything is fine. But all in all very well!
C. H.
The hotel is located very close to the station, which is great. I was there for a conference. I was not sure with the conference room. There were few lights on the ceiling were broken which makes the room dim. The decoration is also out of dated. The air conditioning was not great and got really hot. The acoustic we not great as you can hear music from next door.
T. P.
Excellent stay, attentive staff and very well situated hotel. The rooms are very quiet and room service can be ordered 24h a day. I have stayed here a few times now and will definitely consider again.
J. C.
Ground floor restaurant a bit congested. Long queues for breakfast. Too few chairs or sofas in ground floor lobby/lounge. Too many rooms in a floor, served by one lift core at one side, has resulted in quite a long walking distance to reach some of the rooms. Location is excellent with Gloucester Road tube station adjacent to the hotel. Many of the museums are within walking distance.
S. K.
For a large hotel with a diversity of customers, the Millennium Gloucester delivered a consistency with staff friendliness and helpfulness including the restaurant hostess and wait personnel, reception, concierge and maintenance staff. We stayed for a week, and our room was exceptionally quiet and functional. The housekeeping supervisor came to our room to inquire about our satisfaction. The features that particularly impressed us were the fast-responding elevators, the large, plush bathroom towels and the very generous breakfast choices. Of course the proximity to the Tube - just a few steps away saved much time and energy. Also having Waitrose and Boots around the corner gave additional convenience. Other reviews have focussed on the aging appearance of the room decor, but that is rather insignificant in exchange for the great value this hotel offers.
F.
Location and many shops in the near vicinity.
Room extremly dated and in need of urgent refurbishment. Bathtub and fittings damaged and wall paper coming of the walls. Bedlamp not worrking on arrival and …
C. E.
Stayed here with my mum who has mobility issues (mostly uses motorised aids) and the disabled rooms very great. Enough room for her scooter, everything we needed in the bathroom, and the staff were incredibly helpful regarding breakfast requirements. Made our visit to London quite special so Thank You! It's also a great location.
Y. F.
Conveniently located within Zone 1 in London, the hotel is enjoying the privilege of easy transport of three main London underground lines. The hotel, although not new, is nicely kept and managed. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly. Try its Asian restaurant which serves delicious Southeast Asian cuisines.
A. S.
Great place to be in. I was here for training 2 days. The location is in quite central of London and could be easily loctated within the city. Has good connecting tube way nearby and the food quality is great. As I was a pure vegetarian, I couldn't find something, but the chef was really humble enough to cook some dish for me along with rice. Was a great place and experience
A. H.
Very crowded breakfast room. Difficult to attract attention to obtain tea and coffee. Tea was very very very weak and without tea bags in the pot. Coffee pot was delivered to the table almost empty.
Staff were helpful, in the main, but a very expensive cost for such a poor experience.
j. s.
basically the staff was so helpful even called the general manager at night time 2 am Chris, he wasn't even working but regardless he helped me amazing service by the general manager.
M. M.
A very nice hotel located within a short distance from a tube station. The staff are very friendly, were helpful and very welcoming. The rooms are very nice, a good size, with all the facilities you need for a short stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a nice part of London.
M. G.
Went here on a seminar. What can I say: I liked the cars in front of the entrance Lamborghini, Aston Martins, Maserati) I very much enjoyed the splendour and decor, the highly professional staff who are exceptionally friendly, all the details a hotel in that category has. High quality soap and hand lotion on the toilets, the luxury of coat hangers outside the meeting rooms, gilded frescos along the walls, high quality chairs and orange infused, chilled filtered water with a choice of glasses or paper cups ...

Twin bedroom but only 1 chair. Air con not working, fan on max helped a teeny tiny bit. Requested some sort of remediation and was given 20%. Much appreciated as well as sheets we requested as the duvet would have baked us!

Standard Room - not too many lights in the room making it a bit too dark. OK view. Comfortable bed. Quite good internet connection (however, with some random disconnections). Poor telly quality - often signal losses. Good quality toiletries. Quick check in. OK air conditioning.

Nice hotel. It is very easy to find and very near tube station. I did not stay there, i went to a three day conference, so cannot comment on services or rooms. Loads of very expensive cars pulled up, as well as parked outside. So this gives you an idea of the type of person staying there.

Fantastic service. Location is convenient to everything. Only half a block away from underground station. Room is clean and satisfying. Only thing I wish for is a better view. I'm facing inward towards the courtyard. View looking outside would be nice. Overall I would stay here again, I'll just ask for a room with a better view.

Liked this hotel and would stay there again. Don't get a room near the outside flags because they make a lot of noise if its windy. The breakfast buffet was very good.

Decent hotel for central London. Great location, just around the corner from tube station.Greeted nicely at check in. The room we had was a good size. Some updating required but would stay here again.

Apart from s mix up with the room, I liked this hotel. Very nice breakfast and comfortable bed. The conference facilities and catering were also very good. Good location too, without lovely pubs and restaurants nearby as well as the Natural History Museum.

I atended conference. The room was big and nice. Good serviced, clean, convenient. The reception is beautiful. A bit tricky to find entrance, but possible after walking around couple of times :D

Great Hotel and Very Convenient! The Millennium Gloucester is right across the street from the Tube (Subway). If get the day pass you can basically get to all of the important site with this ticket.. The hotel is also fairly close to many of the museums; thus, if you want to see that you can just walk there. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and the breakfast, although a bit crowded, was pretty good :) Overall, I would said that it is one of the better hotels that have stayed in and would return given the opportunity.

Very nice room comfortable quiet room we had a standard room.
It's advertised as a 4 star it's not quite that good, it's a 3 star.
But we had a great stay. I would recommend this hotel it's in a great location.

I came here today for an event with Alan Kleynhans. Very, very lovely event! Very eye opening and an insight into how wonderful and enjoyable life can and should be when you are your true higher self.

Sadly we only used the hotel for parking but we wished we were staying.
Staff were lovely and helpful, really couldn't do enough for us. It was lovely and clean inside the hotel and had a real wow factor.
Great location for the natural history and science museums too.

Great location near to the museums and over the road from the underground, also walkable to Oxford street and Hyde park. Restaurants are nice and a local Tesco over the road. The hotel is nice rooms clean and have air conditioning, and the breakfast is well worth getting. Staff are pleasant and helpful, overall a wonderful hotel and well worth using.

My Boyfriend and I stayed here 25/01/19 - 28/01/19. We checked into our room, and the heating didn't work, it was a basic room, handles missing off many of the drawers / cupboards, and generally a bit shabby. We were upgraded to a nicer room, a bit of wear and tear but not really an issue to us. The breakfast buffet is excellent, and staff were very attentive and friendly. The location of the hotel is fantastic, Gloucester Road tube is minutes away and surrounding areas are lovely, plus Natural History Museum only a short walk away. Overall, the rooms could do with freshening up, but the weekender package is good value for the location.
My one issue: I accidently left my leather jacket in the wardrobe of our first room. I realised this the following morning after breakfast around 10:30am, spoke with reception who advised no other guests had been in that room that night. Upon checking the room, the jacket was gone, it hadn’t been logged as a ‘left item’ and it wasn’t in lost property. I was told the only person to access the room was the cleaner at around 8am that morning. Management said there was nothing they could do until Monday, and was I sure that I’d actually brought the jacket with me?! Obviously this wasn’t what I wanted to hear, and told the Manager that if the jacket couldn’t be located on hotel property I would be involving police, and that I would not be leaving without the jacket, or the equivalent value of the item. At around 12:20pm the Manager advised he was going to check CCTV & the cleaner’s locker, at 2:30pm I received a call to say the jacket had been found. The story I was given for the jackets whereabouts leaves a lot to be desired, and I do not believe it for one second. However I had wasted enough time dealing with this on the Saturday and was just pleased that I had my jacket back.

Fantastic location, but hotel is showing its age woefully. Infrastructure is old, nothing modern in there.
And, some of the staff in the lobby are condescending towards guests. That is Front Desk, and from the Concierge Desk.

The hotel location is excellent and close to many tourist sites. The food was not upto the mark.

The rooms were nice, and the cleaning staff did excellent work. The concierge and doomen were helpful and attentive. Unfortunately, the receptionists were ill informed and seemed to have trouble to understand even the simplest explanation.

Good location with amenities, museums and tube station nearby. Staff are helpful and attentive. The lower cost rooms are a little run down and noisy, the bed was hard but no worse than most hotel beds.

Older hotel, but very clean and up kept. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful! Room was a good size with extra chairs and a desk. Would stay here again.

This is a clean and upscale hotel, in a quieter part of London. It's by the embassies on an easy walk to Kensington Park as well as the Victoria and Albert museum. The hotel is close to a tube (underground) station, which is very convenient. This hotel also has great breakfasts and free drinks at the club level. Overall, a great place to spend a week in London!

Staff are not very friendly. Location is good. Next to Gloucester Road Station. You will be welcome by a very strong Arabic perfume throughout the hotel. 90% of guest are from the middle East.

Only you to park the car great price and exactly as described they say bays are tight I took my 07 qashqai which is not a big car and this was snug.... Would never take my xc90 here just would be way too tight to park

Great location. Staff are friendly, professional and attentive. Rooms are good. Will definitely book here again in my future trips to London. Highly recommend.

Very dated. Good location. Nice breakfast if a little cold but restaurant staff at breakfast were not helpful at all. When my lounge key didn't work Reception asked for ID even though the lady who granted access only minutes before was sitting right there on Reception still.

This hotel was very pretty and the service was phenomenal! We had an issue with our plug converter and they sent up someone to help us figure out how to make it work. So kind! Easy check in and check out.

Rooms are spick and span. Small but comfortable and with great views of the surrounding architecture. The hotel is located a very short way from the Gloucester tube. There are few power points, bring a power board. This is based on a stay in a sixth floor room in winter

2nd time at this hotel. Location is absolutely fantastic, across street fm Gloucester tube station in prime Kensington. Though I believe they are working on upgrading the outdated rooms, I must compliment the staff - Bianka in house keeping went so out of her way to accomodate few minor things for us, and then there is Joy, the head of house keeping - Joy is the reason this hotel gets the top reviews. This woman will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and service is up to standards. Concierge: Julie and Nick will treat you like you are the only VIP in the hotel and will help arrange and guide all your trips, info etc. I hope hotel management reads this because this hotel is getting the great reviews due to it's fantastic hard working staff, otherwise the facility could use upgrades! Thank you
