D. G.Nice price, clean rooms and a nice little breakfast.
The room was a decent size for the price with some great fittings and furniture. The windows sealed nicely, so there wasn't the noise of the London Bustle waking us up early.
The breakfast was simple but did the job. Nice quiet little canteen area with a TV to start the morning with a selection of cereals, spreads, fruit, cheese and meats and pastries.
All in all, only one night here but it was a relatively pleasant one!

Breakfast is also quite basic but served in a bright spacious room. Good location.For us it was overpriced, compared to other places we stayed in London but I guess you can probably get a better deal.

J. S.Simply brilliant! The German budget hotel concept comes to West London! Basic yes, but very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Free tea, coffee and bourbon biscuits too! Excellent buffet breakfast. All this and I paid less than £55, albeit on a Sunday night.
S. C.Decent clean hotel. Good value. Pleasant, helpful staff. Ensuite bathroom had a walk-in shower - so much better than climbing into a bath! The bed was roomy & comfortable. The room was small but functional and it was CLEAN! Easy access to public transport - we used buses as we have bus passes and the stops were very near. Would definitely stay here again.
There was 24 hour access using room key and there was a machine for check-in if reception wasn't manned so you could arrive late and still get in. Excellent idea.
Breakfast was OK too. There were hot items as well as cold.

S. R.It does exactly what it says on the tin. Good price for a basic but clean and functional room close to the centre of London. You pay for your reservation using the screen check in facility outside. Staff always polite and friendly at this German owned hotel. Excellent value for money.

A. v. D.Admittedly this has been the first proper hotel I have slept in for the last 6 months of travel in south east asia so I was easily pleased but nevertheless it was a great stay. The reception was efficient and quick, the room spotless with a great shower and very comfortable bed and the breakfast was delicious. Fresh breads and condiments, good coffee etc. Would recommend anyone to stay here.. its quiet and close to all amenities as well.
L. S.The automated check in was a little confusing and it wasn't clear that it was meant only for guests arriving after hours. It didn't work properly and in the end we were charged twice. The receptionist arranged a refund but the whole check in process took longer than if we had just been able to do it with the receptionist. The heating controls were not very easy to understand and we spent some looking for the bathroom light switch! And the traffic noise could be reduced.But overall it was a pleasant, value for money stay
D. B.Windows are a bit slim and traffic noise was quite ripe first thing. Bed comfy, room very clean and shower very hot and powerful. Breakfast was surprisingly good - good selection of continental breakfast items and very fresh pastries. Well worth 80 quid.
N. K.Clean and (kind of) spacious rooms. Very clever design for a really good price. Just a couple of minutes down the Putney High Street from Putney station, or walk over Putney Bridge from Putney Bridge tube station. Use the quick and easy self check in and pay directly then and there whenever you arrive. They also have the usual soap, as well as a hair dryer in the rooms. UK sockets, but also USB sockets to charge your gadgets.
M. S.Great hotel for price. I liked the sparse furnishings and utilitarian storage as it made the best use of the available space. Smallish rooms being the norm in London, there is nothing more annoying than piles of decorative cushions and ornaments everywhere. Comfortable bed.

But is the reception staff who are genuinely nice people and want to help.

L. M.It was my first time at this hotel and will not be the last. Everything in this hotel met my expectations. The location was just as I’ve needed, the room was always clean, the breakfast was above average for this type of accomodation. The guy at the reception was always very friendly and helpful.
D.Perfect for a Putney trip. Will happily use the hotel again. Staff at reception are friendly and helpful. Thank you. Breakfast is sufficient with a fair amount of choice.
Understand there is no room service. Would appreciate a bit of information in the room regarding eating options.
m. J.The hotel is conveniently placed for visiting London and the rooms are comfortable. Best hot water in the showers in London. Beds and duvets are excellent as is the reception staff.
For improvements I would suggest that there should be some facility for guests to snack in the evenings and I found the coffee very bland. Also there are double rooms but only one chair. In the bathroom there is a conflict between the WC and the shower door. Perhaps installation of Italians showers - no door just a partition. I have said that the hotel does not rate three stars and that is because of the lack of guest facilities as mentioned above and the lack of parking. The rating of 8 as shown on the reception desk is valid.From a security point of view I think that the front door stays open too long - not to mention the heat loss in winter.
I would also suggest an ice machine. I will definitely be going back.

The guy on reception was great and very accomodating. The continental breakfast was good, good selection and replenished regularly (more or less every time someone walked up to it).
The only comment the wife had was that there was no socket near a mirror to uese the hair dryer. If that's all we could find fault with there can't be too much wrong!
H. R.Great hotel in the centre of south London. Clean room. Compact but comfortable and everything you needed was there. Staff very helpful. Really good location, closer to buses, tube and overground train. The bed was so comfortable. Really pleased with it and would stay there again.
V.Stayed a night here. It's basic, clean but walls are thin and it's really noisey
Parking is deceiving, £10 and they have 3 awkward spots in a narrow alley.

A. W.A simple hotel in a very good location. Whilst basic in its decor, it is clean, comfortable and in a really good location. Good value for money and the included breakfast followed form by being simple and good itself. 24h check in afforded by a self service machine which is straightforward to use.

An advice: when a lot of people coming for breakfast at the same time, it should be helpfull when there is a place where I can put my dirty things, so that other people can use my table when I leave! I think that almost everybody should use this opportunity.
r. a.It was a great stay. Budget friendly and you get what you are paying for. You have options for transportation with underground and national railways both around 8 walk minutes away. Bus station in front of hotel and a direct bus to central london from putney exchange station. Also sainsbury and waitrose nearby. Would like to leave a shout out to Peter, from the reception. A couple of negative points
1- no mirror near a plug socket for using hairdryer
2- could do with a light by the door mirror or put a mirror by the table.
3- a towel hook by the shower would be helpful.
B. P.You always pay more for less in ALL British hotels compared to Spain. However, the hotel was clean and is in a very nice area. It is always best to go to a hotel chain as some of the individually owned ones are dreadful. Breakfast was tasty but there were sausages every day, never bacon. The guy in reception was very nice. Putney is a very nice area, lots of pubs, shops and you can get a train from Gatwick. You change at Clapham junction and it's two stops to Putney station -about 13 pounds. The hotel is down towards the river and turn right at Putney bridge road. Less than 10 minutes with luggage!

Did not interacted with any one as I do not find any hotel staff while checking in.
However while checking out had 2 minutes interaction at reception guy.
Room was excellent toilet also was good but bit smaller.
Not much interior work done in the room as well as at reception its kind of okiesh decoration.
However I am satisfied with my stay there, the breakfast was also ok but need to have more varities.
Hotel location is very good.

L. S.Matress was too hard. I am disabled and had to sleep in late, so never got breakfast, never got clean towels and never got tea and milk restocked. Having no one on reception after 10pm was a problem for me. Had a massive problem getting myself and my wheelchair to my room through the heavy doors at night as no staff were there
B. T.Hotel and room are clean, breakfast very good. Location is good too (perfect for an early morning jogging along the Thames Path). Just 20 mins away from High Street Kensington by tube. Yet I felt like I was in a hospital. There's no cosy atmosphere, white everywhere. You definitely don't want to stay too long in the place. That's a shame because that wouldn't be too difficult or expensive to improve a little so your guests feel more like "at home". Also, you shouldn't put a single bed edredon on a double bed, when there's single occupancy. I find this really niggardly and gives the impression you don't trust your guests. It also reinforces the feeling of loneliness in a place that's clean, well located, good value for money and great breakfast all right, but also somewhat gloomy. A little colour here and there, and an edredon the right size for the bed would already go a long way to address that. This being said, I'll come back again for sure, if only for the location and reasonable price.

J. J.I have stayed at the MK in Putney many times and find it the perfect little 'capsule' for a one - three night stay. Everything you need is available - plain, stylish decor, exceptional cleanliness and great design make it a pleasure every time. This time, I booked late, and so I chose a budget single room for which I paid a 'special price' of £93. This is the most I have ever paid at the MK- I have been lucky enough to pay £69 and £79 for a 'comfort double room' in the past. I didn''t mind the lack of space in the budget single but I did miss my leather chair and desk - this time I had to be happy with a plastic chair and table. Having paid more this time - it's a bit ironic. However I recognise the 'luck of the draw' and hope I shall be able to book a slightly better room for slightly less next time! Breakfast was included and Reception kindly organised soya milk for me as they always do. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Just a small suggestion - would you be able to offer dried fruits, seeds and nuts as a sprinkler for the cereal next time. Also your bread offering is a bit 'stale' pardon the pun! Now there are so many artisan breads available including good old 'bauern brot' - could we have a tiny bit more variety please? Apart from that, staff are always friendly and welcoming and overall I think your offering is excellent. Thank you! P.S.Thanks for the extra pillow.

B. H.Please put a mirror near a plug. It was impossible to style my hair in this room. Find some way to stop the water from the shower running out into the room and soaking the carpet. Most unpleasant to walk on afterwards. Is it possible to reposition the bed? Access from both sides would be preferable.

A. C.(Translated) We had already been there 4 years ago, and we were satisfied, in my opinion better than London cleanliness standards, only thing the bathroom was not cleaned properly on the walls as there were splashes of something. And last night they didn't change sheets and towels.
For the rest, excellent value for money in my opinion also because it includes breakfast, which will not be exceptional but at that price you can not expect more in my opinion.
I also recommend it for the location, a quiet but well-stocked area despite not being in the center.
I would also go there a third time.

Ci eravamo già stati 4 anni fà, e siamo rimasti soddisfatti, a mio avviso meglio rispetto agli standard di pulizia di Londra, unica cosa il bagno non era stato pulito adeguatamente sulle pareti in quanto c'erano schizzi di qualcosa.e l'ultima sera non ci hanno cambiato lenzuola ed asciugamani.
Per il resto ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo a mio parere anche perchè comprende la colazione, che non sarà eccezionale ma a quel prezzo nn si può pretendere di piú a mio parere.
Ve lo consiglio anche per la posizione, zona tranquilla ma ben fornita nonostante non sia in centro.
Ci ritornerei anche una terza volta.

un endroit bien situé par apport de station de Métro. C'est très facile : à sortant de station à gauche il y a l'arrêt de bus N° 270. Il faut trois arrêts .Et on sort juste devant l’hôtel. La chambre est bien propre et calme. La isolation acoustique est bonne. Et la chambre est bien climatisé. Dommage que TV est que en anglais. Pour le déjeuné - il est bien suffisant et frais .

Unser gebuchtes Zimmer lag nach hinten raus, somit war nur der Fluglärm zu hören. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und vielseitig. Zimmer sauber und groß genug. Der Service war immer ansprechbar vor Ort. Wer Hunger hat findet im nahe gelegenen Burger Laden reichlich leckere Sachen. Mit der U-Bahn ist man schnell im Zentrum.

It's weird because it's a building that also has offices and the reception is only until 10 pm (but you can check in an outdoor machine if you are late). Pequeño hotel bien situado cerca de Putney Bridge y del metro (aunque hay que cruzar el puente).
