After doing some research I decided to stay at Montcalm East, glad I did. Montcalm East is a short walk from the tube and is in a great location. The hotel was nice from the moment I walked in. The concierge helped me upstairs with my bag and told me where everything was located. The bathroom had heated tile which was my absolute favorite! As weird as this is I loved the iron and hair dryer. Most American hotels give you the cheapest they can find which usually suck. I can wait for my next London trip.

Treated by my daughter to a spa half day which was excellent in every way. Charming and professional staff, spotless elegant facilities, and comfortable relaxation area. We each had a body massage and felt relaxed and calm afterwards. Delicious lunch. Highly recommended planning to return soon!

Stayed for 1 night. The lobby and restaurant is pretty impressive interior wise. Got a nice modern, stylish feel to it. The staff were great and very helpful. The hallways on the way to the rooms were cool with quirky stylish lighting. The room was nice and modern with really cool technology panel that controls all the lighting in the room from different mood lighting to electric curtains. The spa facilities were great too where you could spend a few hours relaxing using their chill room, sauna, steam room and pool with jacuzzi. This is one of the better hotels I've stayed at.

I am a frequent traveler and some hotels I only stay once, and others leave a long lasting impression and make me want to come back to. The Montcalm East is the latter thanks to the wonderful staff. They absolutely try their utmost best to make you feel as comfortable as possible and go the extra mile. Simone in particular; she made me smile every morning when exiting the elevator, took time to sit down and talk with me over coffee, and arranged everything for me to be on my journey back home as relaxed as possible. From now on the Montcalm East is my designated hotel in London and looking forward to being welcomed there again soon!

Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Narcissa checked us in and was very cheerful and helpful! The rooms are very nice with all the amenities you would need. The bed was very comfortable, and they provided a nice selection of coffee and teas, and there was a fridge available as well. I also appreciated that the room had a wine opener and wine glasses instead of having to request them. And I especially liked that the room came with a big bottle of water that can be refilled at the filtered water dispensers (available on each floor). There is also has a nice lounge with food and drinks on the ground and 1st floor.

Rooms are spacious, comfortable great for treating yourself to a bit of luxury. Be aware the online application doesn't work for check-in - you need to sign forms and be issued physical key card. Check out online did work.

Such a fabulous hotel. From check in to check out, the staff, the ambience, the perks and the entire experience was wonderful. The spa and pool is blissful and the shower in the room probably the best I've ever had ❤️

We stayed for 5 nights and were generally pleased with our room (booked superior) and the amenities. We were disappointed that repeated calls to reception, service desk and concierge went unanswered! This was very concerning given in an emergency guests could be left on their own with no response.

This was our second stay at the Montcalm East and it’s one we will certainly continue to go back to. The staff are lovely and very helpful. We love the mood lighting in the rooms, the comfortable beds, access to sky movies, interesting art work, great showers, pool & spa and speedy room service. The location is also great for Shoreditch and only a short hop to London Bridge or central London. I highly recommend it!

A little disappointed with this place. I have stayed here pre COVID when it was the M by Montcalm and the little touches of the hermes toiletries and nespresso coffee pods made it feel special. It has now been taken over by Marriott and it just didn't feel the same. Two out of 4 spotlights in our room weren't working, although they did come and change them when told. It wasn't as clean as it used to be and I wasn't made to feel like they valued me as a guest which the M by Montcalm previously did. I'd booked a Queen room and the receptionist disagreed and gave me what she called a king size room, which was two single beds pushed together. I checked my booking and I had booked a queen room but couldn't be bothered to argue. I'm not sure I'll be staying here again, which is a shame as the location was perfect for me when I had client meetings.

Amazing and luxurious experience 10/10! After a particularly difficult day, I checked in and ordered room service. The lovely lady on the phone and I got to chatting and she actually offered me a discount on the bill. I didn't get her name but her act of kindness completely brightened my evening and I am so grateful to her and the rest of the staff for providing an excellent experience. I was staying in 1505 on Nov 10, so if management reads this, the person who helped me deserves a raise! ;)

Came for a spa day absolutely loved it! There was some confusion with my booking but the spa manager Mira did everything to squeeze me in and make sure I came out blissful. Massage was amazing and the spa facilities were great and super clean. Lunch in the main restaurant was yum.
Only recommendation is for a hairdryer in the changing rooms.

Decided to randomly stay here as a bit of a treat and it was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. When we walked in we were immediately greeted with a warm welcome and to top it off, the lovely receptionist upgraded us from a standard room to a junior. This was a lovely surprise and our room had an amazing view.
The bed was really comfortable and I am picky about my pillows but these were 10/10.
The bathroom had a razor, toothbrushes and toothpaste! Which is really helpful for those who might’ve forgot those things.
The robes were really comfortable and all the extras in the room was great, the wine glasses etc were a great finishing touch.
The pool was lovely! I’d say the jacuzzi was a tad hot, everyone I saw get in really struggled and some people couldn’t even stay in, but that is minor I guess.
Thanks for the great stay!!
A. L.
Fantastic hotel, great price for the facilities offered. The spa is really nice. Rooms clean and tidy, also modern. Good location too.

Nice hotel, reasonably priced for London. Great location in Shoreditch and very close to the Old Street tube station. Staff was very nice, room was great and the breakfast not too bad
A. A.
I stayed for three weeks and felt so much more cared for than I could have imagined. Jordan and Simone from front office looked out for me with all sorts of personal and professional touches throughout my stay and Sladka from housekeeping was a particular star. The security on the weekends was also appreciated. I loved the location and chose the hotel based on this - but walked away so impressed with the facilities and professionalism. I’m used to larger luxury chains and so I was particularly happy with how satisfied I was with the smaller chain contemporary approach. I was impressed enough to extend my stay four times. Thank you for everything Montcalm East team!
G. M.
Location on point, right next to Old Street Station which is a great area for going out but also very well connected to the rest of London. Service was great, especially Jordan and Andrew. I wouldn't say this is necessarily 5 star standard hotel in terms of the rooms but very good value and I'd definitely stay again.
T. R.
Very nice stay. That staff should have a bit more knowledge about what are they doing, but all good.
Cristian and the night managers were reaally helpful!

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and lovely room. Would definitely recommend! So clean and modern.

The Montcalm is a stylish hotel in a great location, our room was on the 12th floor and had a fantastic view over the city. The main reception area was clean and tidy, the staff were well presented, friendly and helpful, our room wasn't ready on arrival (we were early) so we took the opportunity to have some food, I had mackrel with beetroot and a horseradish sauce with pea shoots, it was delicious, we also ordered the club sandwich, burgers and fish and chips, all well presented and had good feedback from my fiancé and the children. Rooms were excellent, again, clean and tidy, it had mood lighting, remote controlled curtains, coffee machine and separate kettle for tea, bath robes, slippers, iron, hairdryer and even an umbrella! Bathroom had an amazing shower and came with the usual complimentary items. The beds were very comfortable, my son especially loved it. Only stayed overnight but I'd definitely recommend, only downside is we didn't have time to visit the pool but that's only because we had a full itinerary of things to do

Stayed here for a business trip over the weekend. Rooms, bathroom very clean and room service very prompt. There’s no parking available with hotel but we managed to find on street parking closely located to the hotel. Facilities/spa and pool is clean and a lovely treat - used this before breakfast every morning - no need to book prior, opens at 7am. Location is good, breakfast was ok but could cater more for vegetarian options although there are plenty of local takeaways and restaurants who deliver to the door of the hotel. Overall very accommodating and will stay here again. Thank you Montcalm East.

The hotel has the most fantastic decor, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. I booked multiple rooms and all were to the same standard. The pool was also lovely and enjoyed by everyone. I thought it was fantastic value for money as the standard of everything at the hotel was top notch. I would definitely stay again and would recommend anyone to treat themselves to a lovely stay here.

The first class experience started on check in with Jordan. Friendly and welcoming, he answered our questions and persuaded us to stay in the hotel for the evening to enjoy the restaurant and bar. A big thank you to Jordan.

We had such an amazing stay to celebrate a 40th bday, in from the states ! They were so accommodating, rooms were beautiful and spotless! They provided balloons wine and chocolate as a birthday gift. I loved the mood light and buttons which controlled everything, including a heated bathroom floor. I will definitely be back!! I was so sad to leave.
A. J.
What a beautiful place, decor was festive and fun. Front desk and dining staff incredibly kind. Rooms were average but the heated bathroom floor was SUPER
J. H.
Room fine but niggles everywhere.
Noise from pipework constantly overnight, TV remote is temperamental, couldn't get anything out of conditioner bottle.
But what really topped it for me was the in house restaurant.Constantlty badgered for our order (place wasn't even half full) and then asked how the food was a full second after the server dropped, yes dropped, one of the plates on the table.
The disabled powered door to the restaurant opened numerous times but was faulty and each time proceded to open and shut an additional 5 times, each time someone used it, which allowed almost constant blasts of cold air to chill both us and our food.
Server seemed disinterested when I complained.
Oh and even though we'd paid for the 2 rooms in advance required to have same payment card and photo ID to check in due to "security" reasons, paid security deposit but had to input pin as swipe not allowed.
Poor experience and one I won't repeat, expected better and have received elsewhere with Marriot hotels.
Thumbs down from me....

David, Petronela, Jordan, Bob and the whole team were soooooooooo nice. We came here straight from our wedding and they treated us like royalty. They even let some friends some the night before to decorate the room. The room was amazing, the hotel was perfect, location was great but mainly the hotel staff were fab. It's rare for me to leave a review mainly focusing on the staff but that's how lovely they all were. Management should be proud of the team they have and value your staff. Promise this isn't written by one of your team members (I'm a real guest)!! Definitely would recommend.

Lovely hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. The bedrooms, complete with very necessary air conditioning during our visit, were very well equipped, clean and with very comfortable beds. We were out of the hotel most of the time but used the bar at the end of the evening. There were a good selection of whiskies but I was disappointed with the brandy selection, most of which I didn't know but again the service was very good.
We just wanted continental breakfast in the morning and the offering was fine, particularly during these Covid times when I imagine, the number of guests was lower than usual.
J. M.
Good hotel , good price and good location
Spa and swimming pool facilities are excellent
They upgraded us to free breakfast but it wasn't the best selection..

Gorgeous, modern hotel in the heart of Shoreditch. Rooms are super luxe, breakfast buffet is awesome and there a great residents bar. I’ve stayed a few times abs I always have a great stay. Shout out to Prabhash for excellent service!!
Super comfy beds and great spa too.
T. C.
The staff were nice and friendly the room was clean. No gluten free options on the room service except bread.
F. U.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed too much too ask. They made my husband and I feel so welcomed. The spa was the topping on the cake for us, we w.ere so relaxed. We thank you all.
C. F.
Lovely modern hotel and great service. Loved the spa and lush complimentary robes. Thank you to friendly staff Jordan and David for your excellent service and hospitality. Would highly recommend.

I have been coming to this hotel since 2016 and I am confident to say as long as they will have me I will continue coming. Amazing location if East London is your scene and it has great access to the tube, overground and buses so getting to other parts of London is a breeze.
The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly.
Just spent 5 days there (Sept 2nd- 7th) and I honestly can't wait to go back. From the time I walked into the lobby during my recent stay, the gentleman at the front desk (did not get his name...sorry) greeted me with the warmest smile and offered me a cup of tea while I waited for my reservation confirmation. I will never forget such hospitality. Martina and Petronela were both dolls during my stay as well!!
E. T.
Excellent accommodation - very comfortable and clean rooms. Quiet and private. Good breakfast. Son liked the gym and the swimming pool. Bar area staff not their usual friendly manner, reception staff very good. Nice refurb - have stayed here several times. Will be staying again.

I simply loved it. Many other hotels say they are 4*-5* but this one really is, from the service, to cleanliness, everything was spotless, very good quality finishings, good size rooms and attention to detail overall, it is worth it. The pool area, with the Versace medusa design is also cleaned continuously (the lady was mopping the excess water every few mins so guests dont slip), the showers very clean, sauna and steam room functional, big and looking brand new, pool with fountain with not a lot of chlorine to hurt your eyes and skin and jacuzzi simply wonderful. Sadly the venue doesn't have their own parking (which is common in London) but on weekends you can park for free in the street.
N. S.
Everything was absolutely epic!
But, housekeeping missed topping up our shower gel 3 days in a row despite asking.
But other than that cannot wait to return!!!
M. C.
My stay was brilliant! Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially David and another gentleman (eastern country name) .

I would personally like to thank the team at Montcalm East for making our visit such a lovely memorable one. We couldn't be happier with the service we received and it was a lovely way to celebrate our anniversary. I would and have already recommended this hotel to numerous people. You won't be disappointed and the spa area is to die for. Thank you again and see you all soon.
S. S.
Had a junior suite, good size and well appointed. The one thing we didn't like was having to try multiple switches, because the markings were so small we couldn't read them.
M. R.
Stayed here quite a few times. Rooms are modern and have many features. Hotel itself is beautiful. Staff are first rate grade A in particular the ladies on the breakfast service. Of the 5 or so times I've stayed I'm ashamed to say I've never used the spa but I gather it's also top notch. Plan to stay again. Would recommend to anyone.
O. R.
The best hotel with a spa and a gym in the area. They have an indoor pool, steam room, sauna, and a gym. To get the best out of your visit you should definitely stop by the spa. My fiance an I live in the area so we keep going there for spa weekends. The hotel is a great design masterpiece, the rooms have everything you need and more with electric operated curtains, mood lighting and underfloor heating.
s. a. l.
Nice rooms but very poor room service . The guy on the phone took the order and couldn't be bothered to fix it when the wrong dish was sent to the room

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. The facilities are top class and staff are so friendly and really go above and beyond. A special thanks to the brilliant Boubaker who made our stay extra special. Will be back.

Very comfortable, great location near to tube station, excellent service especially David on reception he was very helpful and friendly.

Had a good time staying at the Montcalm. The spa was great and one of the hotel staff David made us feel welcome and helped to make our experience even better. I would recommend this hotel to others.
M. N.
I will try not be too judgement but we was moved here from the other branch last minute. The staff here try their best the to be complimentary but this wasn’t the one. They have nice finishing and it’s modern, views are that great either. The location on a busy road, at reception not much space for privacy when giving information to the receptionist. The lift is quick and quiet. The sky remote was colicky and some channels where not working. Bed is comfy but overall, not seeing the difference between a premierinn/Travelodge locates to the bucking palace. It’s a nice hotel but not seeing the 5 star element of it.
M. O.
Amazing hotel. Great room service. Lovely staff. Extremely comfortable and clean rooms. Will definitely be back.

Ideal for business trips. Comfortable, great service and good location
T. E.
Very nice hotel in a great location for food and drinks!
J. H.
Really enjoyed the stay here, lovely room, very nice staff. Breakfast was too picky for me, buffet was limited and hot food ordered on-demand but too hipster, I just really wanted a nice bacon sandwich!
S. D.
Absolutely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. It’s my go to hotel when in London, logistics play a big part also. I always upgrade to get the best amenities out of this hotel. I love the spa (the famous spa) and the private Lounge room, that is available to you when upgraded. Also the restaurant is great for breakfast lunch and dinner. You don’t even need to leave the hotel. It’s very clean modern and has all the mod cons.
d. m.
Simply amazing. I would definitely return to this awesome hotel
P. S.
Myself and my partner stayed here recently for four nights and really enjoyed it.Rooms are very nice and are very well maintained by housekeeping.Staff were very attentive and polite.

Went with a group of about 20 friends from a course. Food decent quality, reasonably priced. Service a little slow. Problem with a few drinks, and then they weren't knocked off the bill as promised...
C. W.
Very nice modern hotel, with very friendly staff and tasty food.
H. J.
Great stay. Lovely staff. Couldnt of asked for a better hotel. Many thanks to Hiral & Christian for their assistance on our stay, they were very down to earth. The customer service was very welcoming & warm.
Many thanks - Mr. Gill
J. L.
Had the most incredible stay here for a friends Hen - absolutely flawless service and the room was beautiful and comfortable. Stunning views of London from the 16th floor! Special mentions to Cristian, Petronela, Denise L, Denise T and Jordan. Thank you!!
U. G.
I was taken on a spa day by my friend. The spa itself was lovely and very relaxing. It was well maintained and very clean.
We had 1 hour treatments. The ladies that did our massages and facials were lovely and the treatments were very relaxing.
We then had afternoon tea in the restaurant, which was great. My friend is allergic to dairy but she said it was a very good tea, normally dairy free afternoon tea is a bit disappointing!
Overall, we had a lovely time and were impressed by all the facilities.
N. W.
Very nice hotel. We received free upgrades as members of the Marriott rewards program. The room was a good size, bed was comfy and amenities. Lovely detail with a small box of chocolates. Well located, a few minutes walk from Old Street tube which is two stops from Kings X.
K. J. M.
Excellent Hotel with a great service and very nice rooms!
N. P.
Nice room, not the best view though! Bathroom was excellent and clean throughout. Service was really good and friendly.
T. K.
+ comfortable bed, location, fast internet, good breakfast
- lights and water would 'power down' or 'turn off' starting around midnight for 4 hours. there was no warning in my room or upon check-in, so it was a very unpleasant surprise when I was still working or needed to shower late at night (long workdays) and nothing worked. Also, would've liked our room to have a room service menu and a notice on how the controls worked in the room (heating for instance).
K. M.
Well located hotel with very friendly service. I have had several quick stays here for work and have found them to be very efficient. The rooms are very comfortable and well prepared for a business traveler. The staff also helped me arrange my transportation connections. Only downside is that I did have an issue with the key cards. The cards lose their connection quite quickly, so I did have to change cards several times.
K. K.
Amazing hotel.. the staff literally can't do enough for you. Highly recommended. The rooms are amazing.. with remote controlled curtains as an added extra. Slight issue with TV but that was sorted super fast and compensated for with excellent customer service. Will remain one of our favourite hotels to stay at.
P. D.
This is a higher end hotel, in the middle of London with the high end service, rooms and accompaniments one would expect.
The room was plush and comfortable with beautiful fittings and options (including my favourite, the coffee machine!).
Whilst the room I was in did have a few minor issues (a slightly faulty TV, and the AC was a bit weak) I still enjoying my stay and had a fantastic night's sleep.
The staff are courteous and polite, and if there are any issues seem to be eager to rectify and leave you happy.
There hotel Spa was also fantastic and very aesthetically pleasing.
A more expensive stay, but one you'd not regret choosing for a more special occasion or longer stay where comfort is important.
J. P.
This is a decent hotel in an extraordinary building that feels like a distorted photograph. The bed is comfortable and there is plenty of international charging possibilities. The electronic lighting system has lots of options but takes a bit of getting used to (and can be tricky to operate in the dark). The gym is good by hotel standards. The staff were almost unfailingly delightful and helpful - the one exception being at check out where they were not able to take a letter to post (that they had said they would earlier). I would certainly go back.
P. J.
So far it's been a bit rough on the housekeeping side. Found a used adult diaper under the sink in the bathroom, took a couple of hours to get it removed by house keeping (even though the front desk said it would be removed immediately). Hopefully the rest of my stay won't be so eventful. On the bright side, the breakfast was very good.
After my initial review, I must say the staff have gone out of their way to make things right. My experience has been much improved, so I'm changing my review to 4 stars.
G. L.
I had an amazing stay at the M last weekend. Before I booked I read the positive reviews here and I'm happy to say that my expectations were met and exceeded. After a long trip to London with an early-morning arrival I was allowed to check-in early so I could get some rest before going into the city. A special thanks to Petronela for the lovely welcome and her effort to get our room ready as fast as possible! The room itself was spacious, especially for London hotel standards. The bed was comfortable and I slept really well. The mood lighting in the room is cool, altough the controls take some time getting used to (and they're impossible to read when it's dark). Having a bath/shower combination in the room is definitely a plus. Everything was spotless and worked as it should. The location of the hotel is also really good: only two stops away from King's Cross and Shoreditch itself is a great area to go out and grab some food or a drink. Still, the best thing about the hotel are the staff and their amazing service. I'll be looking forward my next time staying here.

Spent valentines weekend (two nights). Great hotel. Fantastic spa. One of the best hotel pools. High-tech rooms including electric curtains. Very friendly and highly professional reception staff (Boris, Begöna and Andres - Eli was very accommodating with the late check out).
Would have been a five star rating had it not been for a couple of issues. The first, having to wait 90 minutes for a main course in the restaurant and the waitress walking past me three times without so much as a word, after I raised the issue with her. She appeared not to appreciate why I became frustrated. When this was raised with the manager he redeemed the situation by going above and beyond the call of duty with free drinks and profuse apologies.
The chair armrests in the restaurant were worn through and clearly should not be in a five star hotel.
The second issue, was a cleaner abruptly saying “no English“ than marching offafter I asked whether my room could be cleaned. Christian (concierge) handled this issue with great professionalism by feeding back to the housekeeping manager; this helped to restore confidence.
Ordinarily five stars but four stars due to a couple of issues that I could not ignore. I certainly recommend this hotel. Would definitely return.
C. S.
Great hotel, spa and restaurant. I very much enjoyed my stay and wanted to come here when the hotel was known as M by Montcalm, I never got a chance to visit them, but I am very happy with Montcalm East and the service and also the quality of the hotel! Thank you.
E. J.
Good spa, a bit small but not bad for central London. Clean facilities and nice staff. Good treatment. Just it would be good to have some staff in the spa area in case we have questions and to remind people to be tidy and quiet (customers leave there towels on the seats when they are using the sauna etc....so can't use them to relax, need more discipline). Recommend it.
D. W.
We stayed here on a Saturday, despite reception being busy they were quick, informative and friendly with other staff offering complimentary drinks to customers while waiting.
The hotel in general and its rooms were immaculate and had all the mod cons you could ever need or wish for in a hotel. Tablet controlled lights, curtains, air con/heating, underfloor heating, media hub as well as a safe, kettle, coffee pod machine, iron, ironing board, hairdryer loads of hangers and the general toiletries etc you'd expect. We literally didn't need to ask for anything at all, it was there in the room for when needed.
A nice touch for pay as you go phone owners/foreign guests was a free smart phone that was in your room for you to take out and use (all data and calls both national and most international included for free) to prevent high call/data charges during your stay. I really liked that attention to detail around customers needs, and it underpinned what really came across as a customers needs first hotel.
We can't think of a single fault! All in all the perfect hotel stay with amazing rooms, spa treatments and services available and the perfect staff.
Thanks for a great stay and a HUGE thanks to your reception staff who were superb even under busy conditions.

As you may know, London is magic in and on itself but this hotel makes the experience 1000 times better.
When we told people from there we stayed in that hotel, everyone said "wow, really?" I think that is the best review you can get. And they were not wrong. Honestly, this hotel is amazing.
STRONG POINTS:
- Quiet zone. Near Restaurants and bars. 5 min far from Old Street.
- Comfort at the highest level. Its rooms have touch screen panels which control everything: lights (loads of options), curtains, temperature (including under floor heating system), TV, “Do not Disturb” sign…
-Spotless Cleaning
-Elegant style. (Out and in)
- Full English breakfast and a complimentary continental option.
- Amazingly comfortable bed and pillows.
-En-suite bathroom with a luxury shower.
- And the strongest point for us; the human team. EVERY SINGLE ONE treated us excellent, as if we were in our own home (or even BETTER!!!)
K. H.
A strange hotel that I'm finding hard to know how to rate: it's welcoming and undeniably stylish, and our first impression was of a cool, modern place, but it turned out to be weirdly dated in many ways, and I wouldn't go back.
The room was comfy and felt quite luxurious, breakfast was lovely if cramped, and the spa was fine, but my lasting memory is of having to call reception every single day with a different stupid problem. The staff who helped us with these problems were great, but we shouldn't have needed their help.
The room was full of control panels that for starters were really confusingly designed with no instructions provided, and then didn't even work properly. Day 1: the bathroom light wouldn't turn off. Day 2: the TV would let us EITHER change channel OR have the sound on, but not both. Day 3: the air-conditioning randomly set itself to 17 degrees and refused to budge. Day 4: our key cards reset while we were in the spa leaving us stuck in the corridor for 15mins, in our robes, while they brought us new cards.
All very bizarre to us, but on each occasion the staff member who helped us out had clearly seen it before, and ran through their spiels with great familiarity. In fact while we were hanging out in the corridor we overheard another guest getting the exact same air-conditioning spiel! They clearly know they've got problems with their shoddy tech, so why aren't they doing anything about it?

The room was comfortable with a nice bed. It was clean and the design of the building is cool. There were a few minor niggles though. Firstly, the service was rather'chatty' - asking why we were staying and if we had plans for the evening etc. - I know some people love this sort of thing, but it is not my preference. Secondly the spa and fitness areas are lovely, but the pool was rather cold. Thirdly, the water pressure in the in-room shower was poor, and so it felt a bit cold even with hot water. There is lots to recommend the hotel, but I doubt we have any interest in returning.

Lovey facilities, friendly staff, spacious rooms

Lovely cafe and bar next to the hotel lobby. You wouldn’t find it in any list of ‘laptop’-friendly places but in fact it’s a hidden gem. Love the view from these big windows. Chairs are so comfortable that once they made my day literally. Tried only drinks no food yet but here I come for the atmosphere and when I have to get some job done in a quite and elegant place.
C. J.
Visited this place for a date night with my wife and we had a such a wonderful time. It is British cuisine so it's noting exotic but the food was pretty impressive. The manager took care of us pretty well so I have nothing bad to say about these guys. The hotel is very trendy and sleek when it comes to the design. Customer service and cocktails and food were A*
K. D. V.
Excellent services and polite staff.
My boyfriend and I did a spa day here. Included body massage, body scrub and full use of the spa with a complimentary bubbly....total bliss! We had male therapist. ..Loved it.
The hotel also have nice rooms but for me there wasn't enough natural light coming in.

Stayed for a night as a relaxing treat for my mum’s birthday. Balloons and chocolates in our room for arrival were such a lovely touch. The room itself was luxurious and modern, and the amenities were spot on. I really liked the mood lighting and all the various switches that I could play around with! The spa was a nice treat, though it did get slightly busy (Friday evening) and there wasn’t room for everyone to have a lounger. The aircon in our room wasn’t working so we were moved to a different room in the evening - this wasn’t a huge problem for us and was resolved well by staff members. Every staff member was attentive and professional - we were made to feel really welcome! My only suggestion would be to have mirrors at the desks with front lighting.

After staying at this hotel for two weeks, I have to state my disappointment. In-room dining/room service was nearly impossible to get a hold of. I would say that they would pick up the phone 50% of the time. Once an order is placed, you then have to play the game of “will my food arrive in a timely manner?”. One time, food arrived an hour late which was frustrating since I had somewhere to be at in an hour... Another time it took over an hour to order breakfast!
In addition I am uncertain how clean they actually clean up the rooms. After the first week in, I woke up with bug bites which persisted for two days before I asked them to change the sheets (I waited the second day to make sure it was from the hotel room). Once the sheets were changed I no longer had the issue.. I tried to use the spa on one of the nights, and it was filthy. A lot of the lockers were broken and I wasn’t offered slippers or a robe.... I managed to get a towel which was lucky, because another girl who came in w me wasn’t even offered that. Perhaps it was late so it was not as clean as it would be in the morning, but I definitely did not want to risk it and did not use the spa the rest of my stay.
Furthermore, I had submitted my clothes for dry cleaning in the morning before 8 am so that I could get them back in time the next day for an event. The management called to tell me that their partner facility had “run out of electricity” so I wouldn’t get my clothes. I told management of my poor experience thus far and magically, the clothes were cleaned and returned to my room that night....
While staff was friendly, they seemed to lack professionalism. Whenever something went wrong they would not own up to their mistakes. Rather they push off the responsibility elsewhere. I.e. they blamed slow food service on the restaurants being busy and they blamed their third party for the clothes. They couldn’t even stick to their excuses. Reception told me that they were slow due to busy morning, but the waiter taking the order told me it was bc of their broken phones...
I would be more understanding if only one or two situations had arisen but this lack of service seemed to be consistent throughout my stay. I definitely do not think it is the customers responsibility to have to be wary of the services at a hotel especially one that is supposed to be nice. A business should know the peak seasons and hours, and accommodate accordingly.
That being said, they did try to makeup for their mistakes by throwing in complementary toiletries and an extra bread basket w breakfast. It was a kind gesture.
As a person who travels frequently for work, I have to say that this was definitely one of the less favorable stays I’ve experienced. A hotel is meant to provide a comfortable stay when home is too far and I definitely can say that staying at this hotel added more to the stresses of traveling.

This hotel is lovely! The lobby is nice, we got given an upgrade and had a room on the 15th floor so no noise in the room at all. The room was very comfortable, the tech in the room was really cool and worked very well. Touches like underfloor heating and Nespresso machine made it as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. All the staff were great too, from the bar to the lobby to the concierge. Would definitely definitely stay again.
J. V.
My room has underfloor heating, mood lighting and the biggest TV you've ever seen - that I couldn't figure how to watch. And I work in IT! Breakfast was superb and the restaurant stunning. Have yet to check out the spa, sauna and pool but am confident it will be as impressive as the rest of the hotel. Would definitely visit again.
M. K.
We visited for a spa day - Staff were often very blunt, our spa session was broken up by a fire alarm. The changing rooms are the smallest I have ever seen. The locker system confused every single person who used them. There is an additional £3 charge for dressing gown and slippers, which is annoying when you have paid so much for just spa access. And our massages took place in the same room, after we specifically requested separate rooms.
However the pool area (although small) was clean, with a decent number of seats. It could do with somewhere to store your towels in the spa area.

Great hotel. Always enjoy my stay here. Rooms are large and comfortable. They have removed the iPad feature and instead the room is operated via wall switches. Much rather prefer this as the iPad gave off a glare which forced me to cover with a pillow when trying to sleep.
The breakfast is good- there is a large selection of fresh produce and drinks.
Only minor criticism is the cleanliness of the rooms. The rooms are clean but would not suffice for a "clean freak". You will often see water spots on the tiles, some dust on the floors and desks, as well as stains on the seats etc.
Rooms are well equipped with useful commodities such as coffee machines and a fridge. Full Sky TV including sports and movies. Additional toiletries are also provided including dental and shaving kits.
J. B.
This hotel looks good but the rooms have bits and pieces that look like they have seen better days. There were exposed terminals on the LEDs above the television, the remote was missing and some of the wall sockets were loose and coming off the wall. The bathroom lighting is too harsh also. Check out was quite a long process to obtain a hard copy. The staff are professional and the best thing about the place.
G. E.
Great customer service and room. Staff couldn't be more helpful when answering questions. Rooms are very modern. Fantastic gym facilities for a hotel. Only downside was having to pay £50 on arrival to cover any potential minibar/room service costs which I wasn't aware of when booking.
N. x.
Really nice hotel in a great location. I had arrived a lot earlier than the check in time and they accommodated me with no problems at all. The room was clean and spacious with plenty of refreshments. I would definitely visit again.
S. M.
Always a great stay, staff very friendly. Rooms are good. Sometimes a little hit and miss and you get a small one but if you check in early enough you get a nicer size room. Bar is good, staff are great. Very affordable. Would go back every time
S. S.
Received a lovely voucher for our anniversary from our daughter. Thoroughly enjoyed the facilities, steam and sauna, as well as the pool just what we needed a bit of pampering. Day began with a lovely deep tissue massage aah absolute bliss. Will definitely go again, would recommend!
A. S.
Very beautiful hotel, very friendly staff
H.
Gorgeous hotel. The bed was comfy and room decorated nicely. We had issues with the air con in our room and so they had to get someone up to fix it. We also found the everything was electronic and a but temprimental.
J. M.
Room is clean and well laid out, rating is based on the marked deterioration of the reception check in . Not sure if its training or attrition but last number of visits have problematic not only for me but colleagues and other visitors. Room service on one occasion was very slow and required a call. Now looking at alternatives in the area. Sorry Montcalm there is an issue you need to know
Updates:October 2019
I received a very professional and contrite call from the Montcalm manner today - apologetic and disappointed that my stay was not the eto there expected standards . I got a sense of conviction and commitment to address the concerns and truly hope management engage. I have stayed at this hotel around a dozen times and I liked the room and facilities and the reception staff until I experienced 3/4 poor check ins and the room service issues .
Hopefully it improves .

This is not a five star hotel, though that's not necessarily a reason to stay away. The building and rooms are beautiful and clean, the amenities are nice, and the staff are mostly friendly. The location is great as well, with only the shortest walk to a very convenient tube station (only two stops to the London Bridge and no more than a few stops from anywhere we wanted to go) as well as grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Unlike true five star hotels, the instinctive response to even simple requests (e.g., storing food in a fridge, ordering a piece of fruit, fixing the TV) was usually something along the lines of "sorry but that is impossible." And when they tried to fix things, they often did it wrong (e.g., they deactivated my room key twice, after every time I asked for a second key). They are rough around the edges in the guest services department, and don't seem to even know it. But I would recommend this hotel (with tempered expectations around service) and I would return because the price is right for the level of luxury and great location.

Really excellent hotel. Staff were really pleasant and made me and the rest of our party feel very welcome. Hotel is perfectly clean and rooms are both modern and well equiped. Hotel location is excellent and breakfast was decent with a hot buffet, so good if you have time or are in a rush. Would book again!

We had a wonderful stay at the M by Montcalm - it really exceeded all expectations.
The hotel itself is lovely, a modern structure with lovely interior design. The location is perfect - just a short walk to the Old Street station, and a great place to explore Hoxton and Shoreditch.
The rooms have some neat details, like mood lighting and heated bathroom floors - a wonderful feature for those of us not used to London's chilly weather!
The pillows are worth a special mention. Every hotel I've ever stayed at had thin, uncomfortable pillows, and usually too few of them to boot. In contrast, our bed came with SIX (!!) cushy pillows, two of which were memory foam. We slept like babies!
While we stayed there, we encountered a minor snafu with our room keys - some of the doors were being re-keyed, including ours, and as a result there were a few times that our keys didn't work. The hotel staff was always quick to fix the keys, and we were sent a lovely bottle of Malbec for our "troubles" - even though the inconvenience was so minor!
All in all, the M by Montcalm was the perfect place for our first visit to London, and we look forward to returning and staying there again one day.
M. D.
This is the most modern hotel is have ever visited. The rooms have android tablets to control every aspect, from mood lighting to heating. They also upgraded my room to honeymoon suite for free with complimentary fruit and wine.
The bar and restaurant downstairs is also awesome. The hotel staff are very polite and helpful. Love this place. Totally 5/5.
T. M.
The customer service was very good. However, given the theme of the hotel, our room key was not working everyday at least once. It is happy that customer service counter upgrade us to a superior room and the key problem was solved.
J. R.
The stay experienced this weekend was absolutely impeccable! Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay, the staff went far and beyond our every need. And the facility’s The M has to offer including the spa, was very impressive.
10/10, will be rushing back here next time I’m in London.
T. M.
Had a lovely stay this past weekend at the M, everything controlled by touchscreen and the little 'Handy' is a nice touch. The bathroom was beautiful and we could find no fault with anything from the design to the amenities. The price ended up about the same but it included the breakfast and various room comfort options.
N. B.
I usually stay there when I go to London for work. Nice, modern hotel. The room are really nice, breakfast very good though I always seem to struggle a bit to get my coffee.
If you have time, go try their spa, i did it once and it does help to relax :)
The hotel is also really well located in Shoreditch, a lot of dinner and drink options in the area.
C. J.
Room was clean and very well equipped. The large tv with sky movies is a nice variation on the usual hotel tv nonsense. Staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel is a short walk from old town underground.
Only 1 reason for not awarding 5 stars. We were meeting friends for a drink at the hotel bar on a Saturday afternoon before heading out. Despite having an attractive drinks menu, the bartender told us he didn't know how to make cocktails because he was a barista. So we ordered Irish coffees thinking it was a smart order (play to his strengths). He also didn't understand or have experience making them because we had to explain what they were. They were not good. One of our group requested a single but was told he had to have a double because that's the only option on the till. There were a few groups trying to order drinks so there was clearly a demand for a proper bartender, that knows how to make the drinks advertised, on a Saturday afternoon.
K. M.
High standard modern hotel in a great East End location. A short walk from Old Street. Good prices on offer, and we were upgraded for free plus got a mini birthday cake and balloon for free. Little touches mean a lot. We didn't utilise all the facilities here but there is a pool and gym. If you like modern classic style this is for you. Interesting outside design with its angular shape.
R. N.
We were attending a work seminar at the hotel but the staffwere very helpful, the food they brought us was great and the hotel was immaculately clean. The presentation room was well stocked with water and all the space itself was bright and well decorated. I would definitely recommend this place for your next team/division meeting.
S. L.
Came here on a friday night for drinks at the bar and loved it. Had a great time, friendly bartenders. The bar had a nice chilled vibe, ample seating and food available on its menu. Drinks were decent portions and mixed well.
A. S.
Lovely spa, nice selection of rooms. Only downside was the the changing room is tiny and there were too many people using it at one time. We had a lovely afternoon tea, all on a good value groupon.
S. P.
Our overnight stay this hotel was excellent, we were greeted by 2 lovely ladies, Denise and Roxana. They were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay special. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for that extra special experience. Thank you to both the ladies, we really appreciated your hospitality.

Stayed 3 nights last week. Really liked the hotel was very easy to get to from London city airport by tube to old street. The rooms are very nice and the have some nice extra touches that set them apart from other places we have been to . The bar was nice restaurant was also good. There was no Ice machine on any floor so that available by room service only. Hotel is a modern well looked after place and I will stay again.
A.
If you have any doubts to book this hotel, don’t!! I loved my stay! everything was perfect! Staff always keen to help, the room was amazing, lots of things to do. Great stay
A. P.
I was going to give it a 5-star, until i was called later after checking out, being asked by their staff if i had taken an old radio from the room with me. After paying over EUR 600 for a 2 night stay, i would never expect to be contacted for a missing cheap radio i've never seen in the room. If the hotel doesn't have control over missing items between reservations, they shouldn't be contacting guests EVER. Other than that, great hotel, facilities and room. Food is average, expected more from a 4-star hotel.
R. M.
I went here for an event and I thought this hotel looked amazing the toilets were great and very clean. However that's where the good things end. The food was average and the calamari tasted like it could have been from frozen. The drinks were expensive, although I should have expected that. And lastly the seats were uncomfortable.
Overall, looks are not everything and I wouldn't recommend going here for food and drinks.
L. K.
1 of the most amazing hotels i have ever stayed in. Booked for my best friends 30th and they sent balloons and bubbly up for us to celebrate. From the minute you walk into the hotel until you leave the staff were amazing. The room was lovely. Have recommend the hotel to anyone talking about London
H. R.
Beautiful, modern, classy hotel in the lovely Shoreditch area of London. Came here for a weekend away with my partner - we love modern hotels and this surpassed all of our expectations. Lots of cool features in the room and not ridiculously priced considering how nice it is.
Didn't eat or drink at the hotel so can't comment on that. Only 5 minute walk away from the nearest tube station so that's handy too if you want to go central etc!
Would definitely recommend and come back again in the future, thank you!
S.
Fantastic hotel, comfy bed amazing staff and lovely food.

It's rare that a hotel actually stands out; but M by Montcalm succeeds, aside from the peculiarly unmemorable name. The service is excellent, right from the moment you walk through the door and they take your bags and hand you a (pretty reasonable) gin cocktail, before you even approach the check-in desk. The optical illusion building is very eye-catching (I knew the building long before I ever visited the hotel), and the rooms are comfortable and well-supplied. Though I didn't use it there was a free electronic city guide (= customised mobile phone I think) with free phone calls too.
And the spa! Complementary pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, and a bunch of treatments to choose from should you feel so inclined.
Even breakfast was good.
All in all quite spectacularly good. If only I could remember what it was called so I could go back... although that said "That building with the weird perspective optical illusion" will probably get me there.
T. M.
Everything is high-tech and decor is slick, modern and squeaky clean. The beds are and linen always make for a great nights sleep. On arriving we were greeted and our bags taken by the concierge, our room was upgraded free of charge and we were treated to a glass of prosecco as our room was prepared.
N.
Upon arrival I was met with friendly smiles and beautiful surroundings. I stayed in a junior suite on the 14th floor, the suite was spacious with a captivating view of London from the window. The bathroom was bright and airy and had that luxurious touch with the Elemis amenities. I ordered room service, I had the tomato penne pasta and parmesan fries, the food was of impressive standard. Fluffy robes and slippers were provided in the room, I then headed down to the spa. The pool had a Versace theme, along with a steamroom sauna and Jacuzzi. I could’ve happily sat by the pool on the loungers all day! Next morning, breakfast was great, there was a large selection on offer and vegetarian sausages were available upon request. I had an exceptional stay where I felt very much at ease, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasurable stay
P. D.
Comfy bed and pillows. Carpet old and coming away from the floor. Sky room was on 16th floor but windows were tiny but a great view. Lazy housekeeping, toilet paper & tissues never changed and ran out. Mini bar wasn't refilled until asked. OK room let down but poor house keeping.
L. K.
Oh wow. Fantastic hotel. Our room was full of press button technology for lighting, curtains etc. Very clean and the beds very comfy. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is very modern.

I loved my stay, I had a problem with the room next door, it was dealt with quickly and politely.
On the down side I had left a ring in the draw in my room, on realizing it as I was checking out down stairs, I asked if I could get the card and run back upstairs to get it. They wouldn’t let me and said that they would get someone to have a look, I waited and waited.
They seemed then to forget and said they would get back to me.
Long story , they never got back to me and each time I rang they didn’t know anything about it.
Very disappointing and my engagement ring stolen.
A. V. C.
It's one of the best hotels I've stayed, the workers were very friendly and helpful. They must have been well trained because it cut across every area of the hotel starting from the reception to the breakfast hall and cleaners. Rooms were cleaned regularly, toiletries replaced and nice fruits also placed in the room. Anytime my family comes to London we know we have a home away from home.

Brilliant!
I booked a double room as a gift for a newly engaged couple spending a weekend in London.
The management went out their way to offer the best room available and upgrade the stay.
The hotel is newly built and offer all the modern comfort, luxury and facilities.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
R. P.
Lovely hotel, comfortable bed, delicious food and staff were lovely. Would go again.
F. D.
LOVED this place - the massage treatment, the spa access (pool was a bit cold but that's a minor), the kind gesture to let your phone change on the front desk and they offer free fruits on display. My only issue was that we weren't allowed to take our phone in the spa access but I would highly recommend this place.
J. F. F.
Very easy to get to. Beautiful architecture of the building. Spa was incredible. Helena, masseuse, was great with her deep tissue massage. Amazing relaxation facilities included elegant shower rooms, jacuzzi, swimming pool, steam room and sauna. Booked a few weeks in advance... Definitely worth the wait.
ʙ. ᴄ.
Very Friendly Staff; even had us Check in before 12pm as our room was ready early, Hotel is honestly stunning and spotlessly clean! Loved the choice of Pillows and Room Scents when booking this hotel. Hotel is situated round the corner from Old Street Tube station so super easy to get to and also a convenient Starbucks outside.
Concierge team very helpful even offering to look after our bags after Checking out due to us not leaving London until the evening.
Overall will be returning again on my next stay to london!
W. D.
Great atmosphere, great room. We were upgraded on arrival which was a nice treat. Staff were friendly and very attentive. Expensive bar... But hey it's London. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay
S. B.
Excellent room size. Good quality fixtures and fittings. Tech heavy hotel with tablets to controls lights, TV, curtains, hearing, air con etc. Friendly staff. Good for business and will appeal to the digital businesses prominent in the area.
J. D.
Reserved online, and had problem with payment. Front desk asked us to CALL online support to pay for the room while we're at the front desk. Manager told that person to go ahead to take our payment there. Is that a British thing, not about think outside of the box? Room is fairly nice, but A/C is hard to regulate temperture.
A. F.
We had lunch at the restaurant on the second floor. The service was attentive, if a little inexperienced, and the food was really good. I had a really tasty burger and the extra bacon was a generous portion.
The chips were particularly good. Others also said good things about the ribeye and the sirloin.
The venue is very well decorated and was perfect for a business lunch.
A. C.
Great modern hi-tech hotel. Good location in Shoreditch and only a few mins walk to the underground. Breakfast service could be improved. Its a small area so can be busy. Otherwise great all round. Very clean rooms.
u. w.
Great location. Superb rooms. This is a gem a great modern hotel with all mid cons in the heart of Shoreditch. These guys have thought of everything. You may need a degree in IT to work out the lights.
H. Q.
The staff didn't know/understand the own hotels offers... this made us feel awkward having to keep asking for what we had already paid for. Arguing staff. Room was generally ok however our curtains seemed to have a puke stain on them and they didn't close properly. Room service charged us even though we explained that we already had room credited. They were then rude and insisted on added extra charges to our bill xxx
P. J.
The staff were incredibly friendly and gave me and my son a free upgrade and breakfast, it was his birthday treat. The food was amazing but not much on offer at the breakfast buffet. Me and my son loved it here, definitely one to remember.
P. M.
A funky hotel with great rooms, great facilities and helpful staff. Rooms are loaded with tech, great bathrooms with fantastic showers, mood lighting and wonderfully comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food. Overall highly recommended.
G. K.
Sky TV, lighting were great! Club lounge was okay, small but had good selection of premium alcohol BUT spa was very busy, bed uncomfortable also very noisy, staff service was slow at reception. Always felt like they didn't understand what you were asking for or about. More like a 4 star hotel and not 5 star.
A. P.
I booked this for my husbands birthday, the treatments we had were average and not very relaxing - the therapist I had kept dropping the hot stones during the treatment so it was quiet distracting. The spa is nice and quite and we enjoyed the drink in the bar.
N. G.
This is perhaps the best hotel ive stayed in. Rooms have the most modern conveniences available, like remote controlled curtains, mood lighting and soundproofing. Very comfortable bed and friendly staff. Only criticism are the building works that scupper the otherwise lovely views.
M. P.
Hotel staff friendly. Room lovely. High tech gadgets throughout. Spa facilities brill. Massage price average but very good. Great location to local pubs and shops and walking distance to old Street underground. Cannot comment on hotel food as have not eaten here.
T. M.
Hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The room is super cool with tons of style and gadgets to play with and not forgetting Hermes bath products. Staff is very courteous and always on top of every detail. The location is great if you're spending the night in/ around Shoreditch.
J. O.
We went for a Spa and afternoon tea and had an amazing day. The Spa is great with everything you want to chill out before a massage. The massage was one of the best I have received in London (i have travelled a lot around Asia and can tell a good one easily). Everybody was nice and helpful. I am definitively coming back.
P. E.
Nice spacious and comfortable room with great bed and friendly staff. Tip: change the the ugly white lighting in the lobby and bathrooms, feels like you are walking into a hospital, not a big fan of the furniture in the lobby either.
H. J.
2* for the spa 4* for the hotel - everything about the hotel was wonderful, including the meal in the restaurant. However the spa does not live up to the standard of the hotel, far from it.
The staff were extremely disorganised, no lockers were available so bags had to be stored in a communal locked room.
I was due to have a 30min head massage followed by a 1hr deep tissue massage. However, I received a 30min deep tissue with one therapist followed by my half hour head massage, then another therapist carried out another 30 minute deep tissue, with no explanation or apology as to why this happened.
I've emailed the spa with my complaint and they have failed to respond.
R. C.
Very friendly staff, good facilities and a very comfortable room with fast internet. Nice features like heated bathroom floors and a really good internet connection make this one of the better hotrls in the area. The price, whilst not cheap, isn't at all bad for a hotel of this quality in this area.
L. A.
Great hotel! Dropped one star because during our stay we tried to use the spa but were told there were no gowns or towels and they were waiting for them from house keeping? We went back to the room and got the bath towels so no real dramas, just mildest of annoyances ...
Would recommend staying here.
K.
Room very spacious. Everything controlled by tablets, including lights, TV and curtains. While cool, this gets old pretty quickly as it can be laggy, physical switches for bathroom light etc would be preferable. TV has no guide so have to guess what's on. Breakfast pretty good, nice croissants.
B. F.
Room was well kept. Beds are super comfortable. Pool is awesome. The only issue I had is that there was an error with the fire alarms and they were going on and off repeatedly which woke us up from our sleep. Nobody is perfect
V. C.
We loved our stay but didn't have any dressing gowns so if we wanted to use the spa we would have had to wait. reception the next morning asked if we contacted reception but as we didn't have time to use the spa we didn't bother. Just hope were not charged.
V. O.
5 stars? I’ll agree for the Hermès toiletries, heated bathroom floors, babyliss hair dryer, little touches like an umbrella and shoe horn/brush.
3 stars for not cleaning under the toilet between guest changes, a shower door that didn’t shut all the way, dust raining down from a shelf in the armoire and lacking the option to turn on only some of the room lighting. It was all or nothing. Yes there is a colored “mood” light on top of the tv and night lights around the bottom trim of walls but that doesn’t give one guest the ability to read while the other sleeps.
This is out of the hotel’s control but expect a lot of partying and street noise. Even 6 floors up it is very loud.
T. M.
An excellent hotel with outstanding rooms and staff. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room is ultra modern and everything is controlled via tablets on the sides. I couldn't fault this hotel but we didn't stay in it for long as Shoreditch is a grey place to eat and drink.
m. m.
A really liked this hotel, it's all high tech. The spa, gym and breakfast were excellent despite my Tea being cleaned up every time i left the table. All the lights and tv are controlled by a Tablet, but the TV crashed and could not turn off all the lights at bedtime. Still enjoyed the experience.
A. R.
What a lovely hotel. Staff are amazing helping with enquiries and so friendly . The new lounge is a welcoming bonus with canapés, wine and spirits. The canapés are somewhat limited in choice but overall tasty. Rooms are very comfortable especially with the added option of choosing which type of pillows and room scent is required for your stay.
Being on the top floor with complimentary cake and an unexpected surprise of a bed full of rose petals made our stay very memorable.
Breakfast is very tasty. Many cooked and cold items to chose from. Their honey which they have added flavours to, are divine.
For the whole weekend, we were made to feel very welcome with smiling faces and politeness wherever we went.
This hotel keeps on getting better. We visit once a year to meet up with friends and will keep visiting for years to come. Thank you M By Montcalm London Shoreditch.
3. S.
My wife and myself stayed in M by Montcalm for our 15th wedding anniversary. The staff were all really kind and helpful, they went over and above what we expected. The room was really classy, the bed was super comfy, the views were fantastic. We will definitely be visiting again.
s. m.
Nice, neat hot rooms with breakfast and 24/7 kitchen, gym and spa facilities at centre of London, tube is few metres away. Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. There are lots of breakfast, food joints, beer places, pubs around, you can explore.
T. M.
Everything is expensive but it is London after all so it's to be expected and it should not ruin your trip. The charming waitress ( long dark hair) told us it would take a while before to be sitted. Perfectly suits it's Shoreditch location. Great hotel for people coming on business or pleasure.
C. B.
Gorgeous room, loved the coffee maker, amazing to have free use of the smartphone, gorgeous breakfast, comfy bed, lovely decor throughout... But, we told the hotel of a special birthday for one of guests and nobody said a word - quite disappointing.
E. H.
We have been to many "luxury/premium" style hotels in and around London and often avoid larger ones and instead opting for smaller boutique style hotels however this hotel way surpassed all of my expectations by putting in all the little luxury touches that you could expect from a boutique hotel.
Positives:
Our first contact was with front desk where the member of staff was polite, helpful, welcoming and informative. He couldn't be any more helpful and was a great first impression.
The reception area is clean, modern and comfortable. Fruit, seating, lighting, furniture and air fresheners all ensured that the hotel had a luxurious feel.
The hallway looked glamourous and modern, clean and air conditioned.
Our room had lovely modern furniture and decor.
Towels and bedding were great quality and the bed and pillows offered superior comfort and a great nights sleep.
There were Elemis consumeable products in the bathroom as well as an excellent hairdryer and even an umbrella.
There were also dressing gowns, slippers and a mobile gadget that you can use as a tour guide if needed.
Free in room safe, iron and ironing board too.
Complimentary and premium quality teas, coffees as well as a well stocked mini barvwitb transparent pricing.
There were room and bedside options for the excellent air con system, as well as dimmable room and bedside lighting, under floor heating, mood lighting, night lighting, curtain operation and TV including Sky Sports.
The mirror in the room and bathroom were thoughtful touches often missing from other hotels and a great size desk and lounge chair with footstool.
The spa was equally lovely with complimentary towel, dressing gown and pool side flip flops to use during your visit and refrigerated water by the pool.
The shower also had complimentary Elemis products for use.
Pool, sauna and steam room of a fair size and small Jacuzzi too.
Breakfast was delicious with very attentive staff and great view onto the street below.
Other points:
I felt slightly worried about using the lockers in case by bits got stuck in there as the combination system had no instructions and you only put the code in once.
Changing rooms were on the small side.
The hotel bar closed reasonably early (by 11pm)
The night time room service food menu was rather small and limited with no "nibbles"
Would definitely return. Thank you for such an incredible, and difficult to beat, stay.
S. S.
Friendly staff, nice rooms. There is a spa but staff seem overwhelmed with duties. Changing room is not thoroughly maintained. I slipped because floor in changing area was left wet. Hotel Manager on duty was helpful and seemed concerned but receptionist at spa was unconcerned and failed to report my accident.
Cannot give more than 3 stars.
M. Z.
Very stylish accommodation only let down by bad coffee (comparative to Australian standards) and areas for improvement for staff interactions- little things like having my luggage taken without a number tag being issued, then being asked to present said tag by the same person who took my luggage; being asked twice I wanted coffee by two different waiters within 2 minutes of each other. As I said, its the little things.
Enjoyed the spacious bathtub in my room and having all room features
controlled via iPads mounted on the wall and by the bedside.
M. H.
I must say it is very good and although the price may be high you won't expect any less for a central London 4 star hotel. Overall very good service and spacious room. However, only downside is that with the 221 pound room per night right there is no breakfast included which I think there should be due to the price.
A. W.
Aestheticly amazing. For a "Tech City" Hotel, you could tell there was effort. But not enough polish. TV was lackluster at best. Had issues with the locking for the room and had to get maintenance in. Very helpful staff though.
B. A.
I'm a frequent guest here and have reviewed this hotel in the past. I will add to my previous review an additional 5* review of their services today as I arrived much earlier than expected and they were gracious enough to accommodate me, even upgrading my room so that I could have one that was available early. I appreciate the hospitality staff and am rarely disappointed when I stay here.

By far the most stunning hotel in London. The swimming pool, spa and sauna facilities are amazing. The rooms are big and very comfortable. The staff is very attentive and friendly.
Thank you for making my stay memorable.
M. B.
The best hotel I've ever stayed at in London. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The rooms are large and the place is new. And you can control the curtains with a tablet. Had breakfast in the restaurant downstairs as well which was very nice.
L. F.
Very good hotel and amazing service and facilities. One of the best massages I’ve had! Only thing that’ll make it better is if they staff kept a closer eye on the pool area to make sure people are wearing the appropriate swim wear and not jumping in the pool with their boxers 🤢🤢
s. b.
Absolutely loved it. Room was lovely. Spa very peaceful. Slightly upset that i couldnt book any treatments as it was totally booked up. But still an amazing peaceful evening. And nice cocktails in bar
K. R.
Nice place. I have been to the one in Liverpool street but Shoreditch feels a (little) bigger.
The staff are nice people, but I think it's a little rude when they start talking in another language to colleagues when trying to resolve an issue with a customer.
Also they got to be more vigilant with giving out robes after charging me £3
I'm sure they didn't mean it, but it's not a good look.
D. P.
Rooms really high tech with tablets to control lights, TV, curtains, Aircon, etc. Well furnished and clean with elemis toiletries, robe and slippers. Good views and excellent reception and concierge. Only disappointment was the mattress on the bed which was ultra soft and lots of 'roll together'.
K. H.
Went for a spa day as part of a groupon offer - could only have the champagne in the reception not the actual spa, booked for myself and a friend and was not forewarned that we would be having our hot stone massage together in the same room - not a deal breaker but I felt we should have been told. The massage was good but when the music went off midway through the massage, it was not put back on. The pool and Jacuzzi were good if a little crowded and felt as though it was specifically for romance - lots of kissing in the reception, pool and Jacuzzi. The chill room, steam room and sauna were all good. Another issue was as it was busy and there were only 2 ladies showers available it ended up getting quite crowded and you needed to wait for a shower which got uncomfortable. Last thing the complimentary toiletries in the shower were amazing and from elemis!
M. B.
Used the spa only. Received a massage which was good but not amazing; I felt like the last massaging me was in a rush so it felt a little bit frantic! The spa itself was clean and well equipped. A nice, relaxing few hours!
T. M.
I finally got the opportunity to stay here and was really really happy with my stay. We arrived at the hotel and were greeted with a smile. Finding out our room had been upgraded and being greeted in the room by balloons and cupcakes was a lovely and unexpected touch.
S. W.
A nice place to stay in a fun neighborhood. Really comfortable beds and great showers. The breakfast spread was good. Overall really convenient for work trips although not what I would look for on a personal vacation.
W. W.
Really central location, beautiful decoration. Very high tech, everything in the room is controlled with touch screen tablets.
A problem with one of the devices was resolved extremely quickly - with an engineer at my door within 10 minutes of phoning down.
The sky lounge has some stunning views over London.
The drinks and food were quite expensive. Which is to be expected. £7-9 for a 175ml glass of wine.
J. I.
This is my new go to hotel in London. Staff is very friendly and service oriented and rooms are super clean, good size and have nice amenities such as heated bathroom floors, electronic do not disturb/clean room buttons and remote controlled curtains.
J. A.
Had dinner here, started off with the homemade bread and foam infused butters , absolutely beautiful, melted in my mouth. My friends had the fish and chips , Risotto, and beef! Everything devoured, friendly staff and great ambience.
M. P.
Great location. 2 mins walk from old Street station. Accomodating staff, very welcoming to say the least... The room with ensuite was a great size and spacious, with great smart features, clean and comfortable. Spa facilities were also fantastic. Room service was quick and easy... The only downside. But that's me being pedantic was the hot water in the morning, well there was a lack of it. But having said that. Definitely a 5* stay
T. M.
The room was fairly spacious but as I walked in I could clearly tell the bed had been made in a rush. The staff will go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. I am sure they are giving hell by lots of guests and that turnover must be very high.
E. R.
Lovely man on reception greeted me, the room was amazing with a special surprise desert as we were celebrating. Great service! Clean! And fun spa... Really lovely stay
G. M.
Trendy modern hotel in a good location beside Old Street roundabout.
Bedrooms are well furnished and a reasonable size. Bed wasn't huge, but was extremely comfortable. Lots of technology in the room - TV 'hidden' behind a mirror panel, colour changing mood lighting, power curtains, smartphone handset etc - it'd be interesting to return in 5 years and see how much of it is still working and has stood up to the test of time! One good thing was the enormous selection of channels available through the Sky satellite TV.
This is billed as a "5 Star" hotel, and if I'm honest I think that's a little bit of a stretch. I suspect that Montcalm is doing the same thing as the similarly sized London-focused Grange Hotel chain, and doing just enough to check all the boxes to call it "5 Star", but without investing in the stuff that makes genuinely reliable 5 Star chains like Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton worth the extra money. This isn't necessarily a bad thing though - the Montcalm was a great hotel, and my room rate was the same as I'd expect to pay for a "4 Star" hotel, so I'm happy. But I can imagine some people coming away disappointed with the experience.
C. B.
Great hotel close to Old Street Station, and the Shoreditch area.
Super modern, techy and chic. The rooms and clean and spacious, with oodles of tech strewn throughout the room; for example to control all lights and electronics in the room.
One downfall is the huge frame around the TV, it dulls the sound to a point where it's almost inaudible.
R. K.
Excellent stay in London. This hotel is a great place to stay for business and personal trip.
Nice location close to the underground (Old Street), gym and spa. Few running tracks, bikes and weight equipment. Complimentary WiFi, delicious breakfasts with nice view over London street.
R. C.
Nice hotel with helpful staff. Close to old street station with decent views. Comfortable abs clean room with great temperature and light control. Double and secondary glazing with good walls so the rooms are very quiet too.
A. I.
Brilliant hotel, very nice rooms - all electric and sound proof from the london traffic below. Nice food & amenities in the room/Bathroom (Hermès) - my only drawback was they charged everything to my personal card & not my company (after try to explain multiple times) I use this hotel for business and the ability to bill-back to company cards needs to be addressed - Apart from that the hotel and staff and friendly and lovely hotel - has it put me off .. No!
P. O.
Great hotel, had a comfortable stay. Staff are very welcoming and the service was excellent. Location is great and well suited whether on business or for a pleasure stay in London.
J. S.
Hotel was great. Amazing room however when trying to ring room service or reception to get some plates. No one answered. Went down to reception and they said someone would send it up. No one did. Other than that it was fine
M. H.
good Location for visiting the financial district or tech City area / Shoreditch
friendly staff, breakfast buffet very British (good if you like ham, sausages and egg). rooms very modern & sophisticated. Service very friendly & helpful (when room Card stopped working late in the evening)
G. S.
Superb hotel. The staff on arrival were impeccable helpful in every way. Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our stay her. We stayed in a junior suite room and it was amazing. We will definitely be using M By Montcalm again as we visit London a lot.
J. G.
The staff was so nice to help my husband plan a surprise 30th for me. They blew up balloons and put rose petals on the bed wishing me a happy birthday! The spa is also very nice to have after walking around London all day, clean and beautiful. The best part is they have all the amenities you would need.
L. G.
Having a lovely stay so far. Drinks on arrival. Warm welcome. Great facilities. Massage at spa was wonderful. No complaints
H. U.
Overall it was nice, building looks cool outside. Careful don't make plans for early checkin. - keys keep stopping to work. Happened twice in 4 days although I didn't touch to the phone.
• - soapy kettle(prolly not properly rinsed) no idea why, was not able to use it at all.
• + proper nespresso capsules
• + complementary water
• + high speed internet (surprisingly)
• + good location
• - tv is pretty limited, there is hdmi port available but can not find a way to change source to hdmi. Kept showing me sky tv (probably i was ignorant on this)
R. S.
Very nice hotel, staff very polite and service very good. I didn’t try to eat in the restaurant and didn’t experience the breakfast unfortunately. But as far as i can say, the gym was reasonably big, jacuzzi and pool were nice and the whole experience was very pleasant.
S. L.
We were there from the 1.-3. January and had a wonderful stay. It was surprisingly the cheapest hotel although it is 5 stars. We especially liked the spa aread with the sauna and the whirlpool. Our rooms were very nice, they are very modern with the tablets to control the lights and airconditioning. They also offer a mobile phone that you can use during your stay which was very helpful when we had to make a call to Switzerland for the airline. Mariangela was very nice, she checked us in and out very quickly and was always there to help with any "issues" he had. and The only negative point was that the internet didnt really work in our room and we said it three times and it still didnt work.
S. S.
Loved this place. So funky & quirky. Modern hotel. Very clean. Amazing staff and a 24 hour bar which is so buzzing for a hotel that you don't really need to go anywhere else.
T. A.
Nice modern hotel. But they are so EXTRA there is no light switch it's all done on an iPad that is very slow and don't work properly had to sleep with the lights on as the iPad didn't let us turn the lights off. Even to open the curtains you have to use the iPad. Nice cheap hotel I would stay again. But the room is too technical only advise young people to stay here.
R. S.
Customer service like no other!
On booking this for our anniversary and subsequently getting in touch with the guest experience team, I was quickly responded to by Mr Alex Stroie - who informed me of the available packages in order to allow me to make the weekend extra special for my partner.
He upgraded us to a junior suite which was his first wonderful gesture!
Secondly, I informed him that weekend was a surprise for her, and I had requested that he bring a bottle of champagne to the room before her arrival.
When I arrived to the room (after being in their spa most of the afternoon) - my partner was waiting inside with a glass of prosecco - however Alex had gone the extra mile and had also dressed the bed with rose petals and laid fresh fruit and cake on the side.
The only reasons I have given this 4/5 and not 5/5 is due to the fact that the steam room was out of order, and the touch-pads in the room were very temperamental during our stay - these pads are used to turn on/off the lights, the tv, and to even close the curtains - and even after we requested maintenance to come and fix the issue (which they attended very swiftly), some pads still did not work properly - which means we could not turn on some lights!
On sorting out minor issues like this, I can see this hotel being a highly successful 5 star establishment, and with staff like Alex representing them - they are surely headed for continued success!
S. C.
Clara (?) On reception was absolutely lovely very friendly and cheerful! I had an absolutely fantastic time with a hot stone massage and surprising my friend with the same for her 30th birthday. The massage was amazing, so relaxing with an awesome atmosphere.
T. M.
My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the M by Montcalm. Underfloor heating in the bathroom is a nice touch although if left on too long the floor becomes too hot to walk on. Location is very handy for business in and around the city. The bar staff were a let down to the rest of their team.
E. G.
Great modern hi-tech hotel. Good location in Shoreditch and only a few mins walk to the underground. Breakfast service is great. Its a small area so can be busy. Very clean rooms.
S. C.
The hotel is perfectly located. 5 minutes walk from a tube stop, 3 stops From Euston on the Northern Line. Rooms were amazing, bed was unbelievably comfortable. Didn't have chance to use the spa or the bath butler bit are looking at going again later in the year and stopping again!
T. G.
Great place with some annoyances. Rooms are amazing, free cellphone with 4g to help you get around with data for Google Maps and CityMapper.
Phone hardware was terrible though. Sooooo slow and crashed a lot. Their tablet driven rooms could use an upgrade as well.
I had the breakfast option which was nice, but identical food every day gets tiresome after a week.
These problems are all solvable.
M. M.
I had the funniest (weird) experience here that was handled very well.
We arrived, and were told the room wasn't quite ready and were offered complimentary drinks.
After some time the receptionist gave us the key to the room. We arrived in the room and there was an phone charger and some other stuff lying around the room. I assumed the previous guest had left it by accident and asked for the room to be re-cleaned.
So the cleaner goes and takes the remaining stuff out and we go into the room and settle down.
Around 11PM I'm on the bed in my boxers. Watching Match of The Day when the door opens... I pause in surprise and the light turns on. A chinese man walks into the room and exclaims "What are you doing in my room?" To which I now realise they put me in someone else's room, I explained the whole situation and the manager came up right away.
He gave us a complimentary stay at the hotel and breakfast to apologise for the inconvenience. Very well handled.
Apart from that I've stayed many times and had a great experience.
N. W.
Great hotel in shoreditch. Close to tube and amazing restaurant. The check in and concierge service are spot on as well as the cocktail while you wait your turn. Make sure you get a room in the higher floors to enjoy a view of London.
L. B.
Lovely modern and contemporary hotel. Really comfortable. Great amenities. Good gym and nice quality breakfast. This is my go to whenever working in London
A. Y.
Amazing hotel. Fantastic spa treatments too. Reasonably priced, definitely coming again.
However, front desk claimed the room was not paid for an only pre authorised, but infact had been paid for (via third party booking site), was therefore charged twice but after confirming with the hotel a refund was issued a week later.
M. P.
Luxurious room in a good location. Bed wad extremely comfortable. Spa, pool was wondrous. Some technology issues disrupted our stay, and we had an unfortunate mishap where a stranger walked into our room as the room was apparently double booked.
e. o.
My boyfriend and I went for a couples massage yesterday. I had a masseuses called Bartos who was incredible however my boyfriend didn't enjoy his massage so much. According to my boyfriend, the masseuse he had rushed through his and was a bit sloppy. The spa was really nice but felt small and fitting rooms felt crowded. We loved the champagne but thought it was weird to have it in the reception area. Normally at spas there are rooms where they give you refreshments so you can relax before or after your treatment. I was surprised that the only place to wait for the masseuse was at the reception.
J. D.
Greeted with a a glass of proseco and friendly staff. The room was clean, stylish, had all the essentials and then some. They provided a smartphone with calls and data for us to use around London which also had numerous deals on. I did not take any of the deals but it was a pleasant surprise and proved very useful when I ran out of battery. I had a great time all in all and would definitely go again.
F. M.
Nice place to stay in London. Rooms are clean, modern-styled and appear bigger than the London average. Old Street tube station and some bus stops (ia 205) in short walking distance.
Breakfast includes everything you need.
S. S.
Great hotel, wonderful staff, very convenient to the tube and Moorfield Eye Hospital. Great spa and swimming. High tech rooms. However, keep in mind not all rooms are large size or have a view. It depends on the tier you get. Staff, services, amenities are top notch.
P. F.
Lovely hotel such a cool building, every staff member is welcoming and very helpful. Bar staff knew surrounding area and gave me some suggestions where to go out. Would definitely book again
S. A. S.
I booked my stay with Maria Fernandez and the stay has been made even more special by a lady called Denis limbo (the experience team in Shoreditch)
Maria already impressed me with the care and attention she showed when I booked, then she got me a little extra discount which was nice..
Then I spoke to Denis limbo and she wowed me with the extras that she was willing to do for my partner because it’s her birthday..
She’s made our stay a very special stay and something to remember..
Thank you to Maria Fernandez and Denis limbo, you are both amazing women..
I would fully recommend this hotel to anyone Based on the treating these lady’s gave me and based on the hotel it’s self..
D. A. W.
Do not book this hotel though the 0800 switchboard booking team, because they will pick number out of the air for prices.
Ask to speak to the actual hotel and book via them, then that way (in my experience) you will be given a much better price, why this happens ? Who knows, but it's very suspicious and needs investigating.
The Hotel and the staff within are excellent, as for the 0800 booking switchboard team, they are clearly in the wrong job.
T. M.
For sure I will not stay in this hotel or any affilicated hotel ever and neither should you if you want to have an enjoyable stay in a London hotel from which there are ***y excellent Properties to choose from. We arrived a little early and …
M. C.
The M by Montcalm fell short on delivering a 5 star experience, you may read this and think I’m being overly picky but for the price it should have been outstanding and not 'ok-ish'.
Good: comfortable bed and great jacuzzi
Bad: they will hold 50£ / night (charged from your card, that will be returned to you within 3-5 working days). Breakfast - they chose where you seat - ABSOLUTELY no liberty to seat with your friends / colleagues!
Worst: Your A/C will be changed every time a staff comes to your room (not to a normal room temperature of 24 - 26*C, but to either 15-17* or 30*C++) Breakfast - good luck if you are vegan!
j. j.
The concierge is above and beyond in customer care. I had a situtation where my parcel was delivered to the wrong hotel and they personally delivered it to the correct address. As I am visiting for business and had no time to handle this matter in a city that I am not familiar with, I found this to be an incredible favor and for that I highly recommend this hotel for it's outstanding customer care. Thank you for all the help!
M. L.
Hotel is in a great area with convenient access to the train. Check in was fast, staff helpful and super friendly, rooms are great, especially with all of the tech features. Would definitely stay here again.
B. F.
Great location to the Tube, clean tidy hotel
N. G.
A swanky & modern hotel in a great location. I love staying at the Montcalm Shoreditch Tech. The room amenities are top notch & the room decor is plush & luxurious. I had to wait at reception for over 15 minutes upon arrival to check-in on this occasion which was frustrating & I think the Club breakfast on the 16th floor is disappointing; it's too limited.
V. B.
Lovely hotel. Nice spa facilities.
R. A.
Went to the spa and had a lovely time. Nice heated pool, jacuzzi and sauna, though the steam room wasn't very steamy! A little overcrowded but this was on a Sunday afternoon so somewhat to be expected.
S. F.
Attended for conference.
Rooms used were 'unusual'. Weird sizes and layout made moving around the rooms tricky at best.
Main room has supporting pillars restricting the view of delegates.
Food lacking meat option.
Venue itself very modern, but not ideal for a professional event of 100+ delegates.
A. C.
The spec of the hotel is superb and the rooms are fantastic. Lots of little gadgets, comfy beds and great shower and bathroom
J. J.
Perfect stay. Prosecco on arrival. Immediately upgraded to a Junior Suite on the 14th floor which made for amazing views. I was very happym, the staff were friendly and professional. I couldn't really fault anything except yes the TV signal was not amazing but honestly not anything to prevent me from coming again. We will be returning. Thank you. X
C. S.
Visited for our 10 year anniversary. Upgraded by wonderful staff who couldn't have spoilt us more or been more friendly! A wonderful experience for a couple who don't have time to treat themselves often. Thank you so much for making our weekend so special!
E. R.
Stayed at the Montcalm a few times. The rooms have been finished to a high spec with features like LED lighting which changes colours. There’s a phone that can be taken out to help you get around the area. The pool is nice and clean. On my second visit I requested to have a proper bathroom rather than a wet room which they seem to give if you have booked a standard room. I asked to be moved to a room which had a bath and the concierge staff were very helpful and actually upgraded us to a much larger room which also had a living area👏🏼
T. M.
We had a fantastic stay at M in October for my boyfriend's 21st birthday which was booked as a surprise. Convenient location-a brief walk to the nearest tube and a reasonably priced taxi ride from Central London. Continental breakfast on the 16th floor was very nice and a very relaxed.
L. F.
Rooms are great . Modern, clean and have everything you may need . Absolutely amazing hotel and I highly recommend it . All the employees are very professional and friendly!
R. C.
reception was weird since i had to walk 5 or so blocks to the garage. the restaurant and bar was great. breakfast was great but crazy$$$ the room was amazing. iPad controlled everything including the tv and various color mood lighting.
M. R.
The building looks like it is on a lean but tha t.f is the clever design. Inside the hotel is immaculate and very up market. Good breakfast options and an excellent place to meet up and conduct some business. Certainly can't go past this hotel if you are staying in the city.
M. A.
Mediocre. Inefficient check-in, broken down Spa and okay rooms. For a similar price you will be able to find much better hotels in London. I wouldn't say it is a 5* hotel. This is very misleading.
B. G.
Amazing hotel, very modern and clean. The spa was really nice and included in the room price. We would definitely stay again and recommend staying here
I. B.
New and flash. Staff friendly and helpful. The bar shuts at midnight, even to residents! There is too much technology in the rooms - whi wants to access a mobile device to switch the lights on?
A. M. T.
Great cool hotel in the muffle of bustling Shoreditch. Visited on a Friday night, probably the worst time to visit, as bar was packed and noisy, and outside was absolute gridlock with hipster traffic and Ubers, do.... Probably not the place to come if you're looking for a decent night's sleep and an unwind! Otherwise, can't fault the hotel, except the lifts are exceptionally slow. Only book if you can handle the vibe!
J. W.
Amazing hotel. Location. Staff. Spa. Breakfast is amazing. Rooms are lovely. More a romantic away than a business trip hotel.
l. r.
Great location, great facilities. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Rooms well appointed and great views from the 15th floor. Breakfast buffet is fresh and with great crispy bacon. That is worth applause.
A. F.
Staff were lovely and the hotel was stunning. Fantastic rooms with the most comfortable beds. Would def recommend, worth every penny!
M. L.
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for the whole weekend and absolutely loved it. The rooms are beautiful and everything is controlled by android tablet would recommend this hotel to anybody and great night life 5/5 for me and staff are also very friendly and helpful 👍
C. A.
Great location, cool hotel - everything's electronic in the rooms (no air condition remote or light switches it's all controlled via an iPad), it's a little clunky but works well. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
シ.
Nice place and good location.
The building is modern and clean, bed is comfy.
Thank you for a nice stay.
T. S.
Beautiful hotel. Stunning rooms and a fantastic location. Honestly couldnt wish for a better hotel. Definitely one for the tech savvy among us too. Highly recommended.
S.
Nice hotel. I really enjoyed the service, the English breakfast and the king size bed.
4 stars just because you can't open the window...
J. M.
Excellent service, very hi tech rooms with remote controllable... Everything. Lovely breakfast however the continental breakfast choices were sparse. Cooked breakfast was very good though.
M. B.
We only stayed for a night but the M by Montcalm in Shoreditch is a great hotel.
Rooms are well equipped and comfortable, if starting to show just a bit of age.
C. A.
Gosh I can't wait to come back to this hotel. We love it. Great spa too. The m club rooms are gorgeous and spacious.
A. B.
So I wanted to pull the curtains the first morning and they wouldn't pull. I yanked so hard that I detached one of them and it almost fell on my head. Only then I realised that you can only "pull" the curtains "digitally" from the freaking desk console. Apart from this unnecessary digital rubbish (mind you, I work in tech), the place is great. It would be great to still be able to pull curtains manually and to introduce some robots that wipe your ass and then play a tune when they're ready.
L. B.
Recently stayed here, only 15minute walk from London Liverpool Street station, reception to the hotel was quick and helpful. The bar was typical London prices, the rooms though we're amazing, alot of technology present, using tablets for lighting and TV and even had a hotel mobile phone for personal use. Well recommended
M. F.
Well, the first impression is nice but there is lack of detail. Every room has different equipment (stolen, forgotten), A/C wasn't working, TV wasn't working as well. Technicias weren't able to help.
S. J.
Great hotel, and worthy of 5 stars, but a few minor bugs with technology let it down slightly. Rooms are fantastic and staff are more than welcoming.
M.
The best hotel I've been to in my entire life. Nice service, comfortable rooms, close to the Underground and bus station. Shops are there too...Very happy with this Hotel. I will always go there when I'm in London.
S. S.
Room and staff superb. Breakfast...cold, which is not good. Fruit...prunes fizzed in my mouth, which means gone off. Not happy! Evening meal was lovely.
C. T.
Amazing hotel. They also have, in my opinion, one of the best bars in the world. If not the best.
Staying in the M By Montcalm for work and have visited the Plate Bar multiple times. Their bar staff is amazing, to the point where I will be staying at the hotel from now on due to them. Tom invented a cocktail while I was here, now named the Chris (after me), that will be on the summertime 2019 menu. It's the perfect citrus summertime coctail, strong and tasty. The ingredients are extremely well blended
so it does not have a strong taste of alcohol. Be careful! Both smooth and refreshing. Highly recommend.
Order the Chris! Or any other cocktail... They're all amazing.
S. M.
Stayed at Montcalm shoreditch for 8 nights during a business trip recently. Could not have asked for a better stay. The team went out of their way to make sure my stay was super. A special call out to Hiral Bhanushali (House manager) for his incredible hospitality. He’s quite clearly a busy man but the personalized attention I received from him will ensure I only consider Montcalm for all my future stays. Kudos to the team and look forward to visiting again soon!
B. D.
Went for a spa and afternoon tea. Both were rather average experiences. Perhaps it's nice to stay on the hotel itself, but for just a spa/tea there are better places around London to go to.
X. Z.
Very well-trained staff giving friendly and reliable services. Bed was a little too soft for us. Room was spacious with view.
A. D.
One of the best hotels in London. The location is just perfect. The hotel has many facilities. The staff are really nice and helpful. The only issue is that the room service take some time to answer the phone at times. The prices are pretty good compared to other hotels nearby.
M. S.
Needs some attention to detail, the bedside lamp included a light on the other side of the room which I couldn't switch off & it looked like someone had tried to take the TV off the wall. Oh and the peanuts in the mini bar were £6, total ripp off.
B. J.
Top Hotel, can't really ask for anything else. Spa is included in the price of the room. Room has all you need, anything it doesn't I'm sure they'd happily provide
R. V.
Best hotel I have stayed at in London so far. Rooms have heated floors and a great view on high floor. Will definitely reccomend to anyone that asks. And the best Mojito I have ever had as well. Bravo!
D. M.
Great hotel in a great location. The staff went very much out of their way to help sort out some minor issues for me which I am very grateful for. Thanks again and looking forward to staying at the hotel again.
A. T.
New hotel loved it.
C. W.
Great location, comfortable beds. Bit disorganised - had to wait an hour for them to get our room ready even though it was 2 hrs after check in time. Otherwise 5 star.
A. C.
Good area for travel from,
Hotel staff really accommodating.
On site restaurant
Amazing rooms with tablet control for lights heating curtains, mood lightd, tv, desk lamps
A. S.
I only used the spa and wasn't a big fan. The pool and other facilities were really busy and noisy. I also had a facial and that wasn't great either. I wouldn't recommend the spa.
M. S.
Amazing 5 star hotel where I felt at home from the first moment. I felt myself really lucky for being here. Impeccable organisation with an extremely nice and helpful staff (reception, spa, restaurant, maintenance).
In the room you have everything you might need including the most comfortable bathrobe and slippers for the spa. The pool is just amazing. The only thing I didn't like are too slippery floors in the bath area and the lack of free sunbeds but I can imagine more of them wouldn't fit in the small pool area.
Plate restaurant offers nice and tasty food, a bit pricey though, but I guess those are the London 5 star hotel prices. I had fish and chips which was really tasty and cooked with care.

Clean, spacious and elegant room, but wifi, though the signal is very strong, is still slow. The digital controls for lights etc are somewhat wonky.
N. N. T.
The room was to my hotel standard, big and spacious and clean! I like the design of this hotel and I like the options in the minibar. I will definitely be back!
A.
Techy room, underfloor heating, provide a complimentary mobile that you can access the internet with and even make calls to whoever on!! Spa is designed by Versace. Concierge cannot do enough - so lovely, helpful and friendly.
S. M.
Nice breakfast, rooms have some unnecessary tech like bedside lamps controlled by iPads. The iPad was malfunctioning so couldn't turn off the lights. A switch will do seriously.
J. D. M.
I found the bed to be a little too hard. Although it had a decent bouncyness, my fb and I think the matresses should be better given the price of the room.
J. W.
Great location. Staff were polite and helpful, nothing was too much. Room was plush and had everything you'd want and more. Recommend
A. D.
Upgraded by the duty manager to the 16th floor which was such a nice touch. I stay here regularly and it's exceptional. Today's views were icing on top.
P. K.
Nice hotel. Bit too much tech. Really good food. Is there something going on with staff moral? They don't seem very happy.
D. G.
Nice hotel. Excellent service by staff let down by some minor points.
For some five decades I have stayed in hotels across the world and the M by Montcalm is the only hotel to want to charge me extra for Earl Grey tea at breakfast.
The room was nice but the main control unit failed in both Saturday and Sunday.
A. S.
Really nice hotel, service is good and room very comfortable. Only negative is the technology in the room doesn't always work perfectly but otherwise it was great!
H. “. A.
Great rooms, could do with some maintenance. Excellent digital technology concept. The bedrooms gave mood lights which I found amazing, digital controlled curtains, air conditioners that rotate into the wall, electric fragrance dispensers that look like digital radios, amazing spa facilities ♨ and decent gym facilities (missing few important machines). The digital room control was a bit non-functional hence the rating.
The restaurant experience could be a bit better, some guests were acting a bit like bullies, there could be a reason to have security.
Food was very rich, well presented & an abundance of "come to life" inspiring tastes. However, there's plenty of opportunity to make the food healthier (I ate Christmas dinner🎄🍽 there, the gravy was not to the best standard, so main course was not fully enjoyable).
Other than that the starters and dessert were excellent - 4 course meal. Their special Christmas cocktail 🍸 was very on point and tasted very nice.
A quick reminder that bookings made over the internet are not debited until you reach the desk.
Enjoy when you get there.
D. W.
Excellent room condition and a very friendly staff. The included breakfast was delicious. I was transferred from the montcalm at the brewery, which was a little frustrating, but this hotel ended up being better.
D.
amazing hotel staff are so nice and accommodating. we was on the top floor and had amazing view . so close to local bars and restaurants
A. A.
Nice place, I spent 5 days at there, it’s clean and the staff so kind. Nice location.
The main issue with me is the swimming pool was closed.
s. w.
The best hotel to date, just superb quality and staff go above and beyond to make your stay pleasurable.
Rooms, food are fantastic
Thank you all.

Very nice hotel, but what's with controlling everything with a touchscreen?
A couple of examples about how over engineering a solution to a problem that doesn't exist, to create a feature aimed as a 'delighter' ends up being a 'dissatisfier'...
It takes several minutes to switch the TV to Freeview, then skip through the channels, 1 by 1 (and there's a delay in input response each time you tap the screen, to get to the channel you want. There's no way to just type the channel number.
And if I wake up in the night, needing the bathroom, I can't just reach for the bedside lamp switch, oh no. The process goes like this: Put my glasses on, so that I can read the touchscreen; rotate it so that i can see it (the backlight is always on, so before going to sleep I've turned it away, so it's not shining in my face); tap the screen to wake; tap 'bedside lamps' and wait a second, because it's a bit laggy; remember whether that is the left lamp, or the right lamp (as I'd think of it) and tap 'on'; go to the bathroom and tap the screen to wake; tap 'bathroom light' to switch on.
Then do the reverse!
Bit of a faff, isn't it?

Great service hospitality was exceptional spa was amazing. Attention to detail everything is all in one place from hotel to the spa to the restaurants. Really is worth it thanks again
K. M.
When I last visited my guest didnt want to use any of the facilities so i paid for a very expensive bedroom minus the facilities ill be back and will leave a review once I have utilized everything great for a night out in ldn and impressive enough for pictures
A. G.
Great hotel, with above your average level of in room technology. Clean, tidy and comfortable with excellent, attentive and helpful staff
I. D.
Provides free roaming phone, rooms and screen are fully controlled via digital display switches, nice hot Jacuzzi, pool, and sona. Nice bar. Closer to old street station. Overall an luxurious hotel to stay. Highly recommend.
B. S.
If not for Marion at the reception who took care of things pretty quickly and effectively for me , I would have had given it 2 stars due to the initial experience. The internal departments needs co-ordination and communication. Thanks Marion @ M by Montcalm for making it right .
L. K.
The things you won't find on other reviews. 1 the carpets in the corridor is sooo soft. 2 the doors don't always close - double check. 3 fancy schmanzy tablets don't really work well.
C. O.
Lovely hotel.
Great touches.
The high tech in the rooms were a bit finicky though.
But overall reasonable value for money
N. P.
Lovely hotel great architecture
The room was perfect with lots of extras
The food was brilliant and the staff were very helpful and really friendly
L. Z.
The staff were friendly and inviting, from the first step into the lobby and way to the room you know your at a 5star hotel. I was impressed with the exterior as it's almost as an optical illusion and funnily enough it's situated opposite an eye hospital. Don't know if that was intentional or not. The bed was extremely comfy and the room itself was to a high standard everything was automated and also had full mood lighting. Shower was well pressurised and the toilet was really clean. The only thing I thought was missing was a demisted mirror. There was a full mini bar and confectionery room service was also available also it had a gym, sauna, swimming pool complementary and a spa for an additional fee. Overall I was really impressed with the service and the hotel, I would definitely recommend this hotel and it's over hotels as you won't be dissatisfied.
J. C.
We had a fantastic stay here, rooms are perfect, spa is beautiful and impeccable customer service. Would definitely recommend.
M. G.
Rooms fantastic. In room tech not so great. Good idea but too laggy. Knocked a star off because of idiots running around and wittering loudly in the corridor kept waking me up.
P. S.
Really lovely rooms easy quick check in staff were very nice. Got exactly what I booked for.
Fantastic hotel
A. R.
Helpful staff and easy check in. The spa facilities were clean - gym was small but well equipped
L.
Rooms and beds are great service is not very slow to check in and out. Draft beers poor. Gone downhill over the past year
C. B.
If you need to step away from London life and fancy a bit of pampering I highly 're commend this spa. I would go every week if I had time. Made affordable by Groupon and Woucher
H.
Very modern hotel with great view. However, be aware that the room service will take away your cards if you leave them for the a/c to stay on while you are away.
E. R.
Great hotel, very clean, room service breakfast food was amazing, room was high tech. This all made for a very pleasant stay!
I. H.
Beautiful room, all mod cons, easy access to place of work in the City. Will come again. Excellent bar-tender, made a fantastic Pink Pepper gin & tonic!
L. V.
Convenient location, recently service. Excellent room but I would definitely change the bathroom light bulb: too cold. Large gym, great spa.
J. M.
Most Wonderful Experiance
Tranquil and exhilarating.. whilst needing a treat and a pampering break from the heticness of life
Staff were warm welcoming! Treated to 1st class service recommend thanks to the welcome deal viloa ans waiter Hassan
Thank you!

A visually puzzling building especially when approached from old street round about I find. Rooms' lights etc controlled by tablets can be annoying waiting for tablet to power up or screen to become active especially middle of the night.
D. L.
Modern and well appointed hotel. Technology worked well for us but felt a bit gimmicky and flashy. Spa was lovely however.
F.
Nice hotel, high floors have a great view of the city, rooms are confy although heating controls might be a bit difficult to tune, breakfast could definitely be better and also you might have it included in your rate but still have to pay an extra for cooked foods, very unusual and a unexpected for a place like this. Overall a good experience but nothing outstanding, will try something else next time in the area.
J. B.
Very impressed, great location, rooms and bar. Only thing I could complain about is that the shampoo and body wash bottles are screwed on too tight.
A. B.
I visiting this hotel for the first time with my wife for our anniversary. We have been to London many times and stayed all over the city. But,I have to say that this was one of the best experiences we have both had.The attention to detail in junior suite was amazing.High tech from mood lighting, underfloor heating, soft carpet, electric curtains.Too spoilt tbh.The hotel itself was very clean, however the food was a bit on the pricey side. Not to worry as Shoreditch is known for its quirky restaurants and bars.Definately stay again!!
A. S.
Amazing hotel, very high tech and great attention to detail e.g. Nespresso machine in every room. Fantastic breakfast and attentive staff.
A. C.
This hotel was really nice. The rooms are modern and clean, and the staff were friendly and professional.
S.
There used to be a bar at the M called Tonic and Remedy and I Loved their cocktails, they have now changed it to a "British" Tapas if there was such a thing... I didn't like their food and the cocktails are a total disaster and whatever you do don't try the Mrs Marmalade - it is an absolute disaster unless of course they improve the recipe... I loved The atmosphere and drinks when it was still The Tonic and Remedy... The hotel itself is still great and the beds are comfortable comparable to your Marriotts or Sheraton standard of comfortability in a compact form...
G. W.
Excellent service and good spa. Rooms are modern and very clean. Onsite restaurant very good. Prices average to high for this part of London.
M. B.
Location, service, facilities, absolutely loved it. Do go to the spa early to get the most peaceful experience, it can get busy on the weekends. Bar isn't great, pricey and not well used, great views but shoreditch has better vibes to drink
L. L.
Heman resolved all issues for me and also other issues I had where all addressed via prabhash. I am truly satisfied with resolutions of issues via these two managers and the way they escalated any issues I encountered to assure I received the service I require for now and the future.
M. S.
The rooms are nice and the staff is friendly. The breakfast is good but the gym is mostly treadmills and some barbells
c. a.
Beautiful hotel. Nice staff. But seems a bit disorganized. We had to check in twice???
S. B.
This hotel is in a decent location in the city, with lots of bus stops and tube station just a couple of minutes walk. Reception was always busy but there’s plenty of staff about to avoid any excessive waiting and we were even offered a drink and friendly welcome from the member of staff walking around the arriving guests.
The reception area is nice and airy, with plenty of seating with reading material along with the hotel’s bar at the front end. A massive artistic light display hangs low from the ceiling and gives a brilliant first impression. The check in process was quick, easy and friendly. The corridors were lined with super soft carpet and a very modern feel, with unique lighting along the walls. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and silent, but with the bowl of fresh fruit outside the lift equally welcoming and homely.
Our Deluxe Double room on the 8th floor faced West with a view of the adjacent office block as well as down the main road. There was no noise from outside or the corridor or other rooms. The room was an adequate size and while the bed wasn’t the largest it was comfortable and had nice feather pillows and duvet. A really comfortable reclining armchair and foot stool added to the comfort levels and a real orchid on the coffee table was a nice touch. The desk had a couple of fashion magazines. The large TV had access to the full range of Sky TV channels, including sport and there was a Bluetooth alarm clock on the bedside table. The modern and technical room also had digital controls for all the lighting, including a night light, at both sides of the bed. Reading lights, mood lighting (different colours above the TV and bed) and the automatic curtains could also be controlled; also electric sockets at both sides too!
The wardrobe was a good size and had a number of hangers along with really soft dressing gowns and slippers. The mini bar was well stocked including snakes. A coffee machine with plentiful pods completed the room. The air conditioning in the room worked well as well as not being too noisy. Housekeeping always observed the ‘do not disturb’ light, which could be activated with a switch by the door.
The bathroom was also an adequate size for the room and in a change to all the marketing on the website had a bath instead of a walk in shower. Fortunately this was large and the shower head above was a massive rainforest head which worked really well. There was plenty of useful storage areas which helped to make the shower even more comfortable. The sink was large and again had lots of storage space surrounding. A couple of glasses were present as well as lots of amenities, such as dental kits. Toiletries were in small bottles and were pleasant enough, but it was a shame housekeeping replenished the shower gel with two shampoos on the second day. The bathroom had underfloor heating which was great and each of the towels was super soft.
The buffet breakfast is served on the first floor up until 11am. This was a nice casual affair but at times did feel a little disorganised. There’s two sections with tables but if you end up being sat in the one near the food then it was quite cramped, with the tables being too small and people knocking past the chairs. There were free newspapers available as you enter the dining area but no space to actually read them. There was a good selection of different breads and pastries, as well as a choice of three cereals. Milk was available in glass jugs but it would have been good for these to be kept chilled somehow, rather than just being sat on the side. Standard hot items were on offer as well as fruit, yoghurts, a small selection of fish and cheese. Hot drinks were offered by the staff but one morning this needed asking for twice and both cutlery and glasses for the juice took a while to be replenished, along with plates being removed from tables. Fortunately though all the food was tasty and fresh enough and still provided a good start to each day.

Truly a lovely hotel, great staff throughout, great good with all you can eat ribs and wings on a Thursday for a limited time period, clean modern every convenience, remote control curtains huge TV. Five minutes walk from station, not to forget the gym and jacuzzi, Wheelchair accessible
M. P.
Very nice hotel, comfortable beds, lovely showers, and friendly staff who will go out of their way for everyone.
J. G.
Stunning hotel, with a great spa, and the room even came with a complimentary smart phone for personal use throughout our stay, I will be back

A mediocre hotel, but definitely not worth the cost. Rooms are ok, i guess they charge so much because of the location
E. N.
My experience at this Place Was fantastic. Members of staff were terrific and the manager viola was perfect and very accommodating. Will highly recommend and defo will go back
d. s.
Nice rooms. Good staff. Poor menu and overpriced food for the quality, not bad food, but doesn't justify price.
A. M.
M by montcalm was a lovely experience
Clean rooms and lovely staff
Particularly enjoyed the gym and spa facilities
Staff were very prompt to meet our needs
Breakfast had a good variety
Thanks for making our stay enjoyable
K. C.
I had a lovely massage and spa experience. A calming environment. Very clean and tidy. Would go there again.
K. S.
Gorgeous hotel. Love the iPads beside the bed which literally control everything - very cool. Location is unbeatable. Shoreditch is the place to be
N.
Really modern hotel with great in room experience and I only had a standard room. I was very impressed
M. K.
Great Hotel, great room, great service. Only gripe was that the room didn't have a way to play music except from TV radio.
H. C.
One of the best afternoon tea and spa experience I have ever had. The staff were very friendly but the only down side was the message which was very mediocre.
M. N.
Great hotel in a very good position for exploring East and Central London. Rooms are very comfortable with lots of high tech extras, and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
M. A.
Very nice hotel. Bar perfect 👌 Breakfast Perfect 👌 room Awesome. Very good help with everything plus spa amazing!!
C. B.
Great bar!
Lovely bartenders with amazing drinks.
Expensive but worth it!
Alot of seating available, good food.
x.
Staff tried to steal what I left behind and miraculously found items once I put a complaint in. Rooms are lovely. Not all views are. Spa is clean and open until late.
C.
Great hotel, very clean throughout..Very modern and hi tech gadgets in the rooms...would definitely stay again
V.
I could give 5 stars but spa facilities were terribly, noisy and not space for everyone. Jacuzzi not working fully.
G. D.
Modern, clean, climate and lights controls are on a tablet beside a bed, in room there are smartphones with a map of London, the floor is heated. I liked it very much
A. D.
We had a beautiful experience in the Spa, we enjoyed the Jacuzzi and the swimming pool and then had a great massage, then we were offered glasses of wine
My only issue was the lockers, it was very hard to use, many people left their lockers open because obviously they couldn't understand how to lock it
Also, the robes run out, so we were given normal towels.
V. R.
Awesome hotel in Tech City London. All room controls are via tablet, mood lights, Nespresso in the room, sky bar, fitness amenities, etc.
M. R.
Modern hotel, decent amenities [and gym] and good food. Couple of gimmicks [remote windows, touchscreen light controls] and a new feature I've never seen before - hotel issue smartfone offering free calls and data. This is on the bedside and you can take it out of the hotel if you need to.
Only two issues I had.
1) I couldnt have an evening meal in the restaurant because a Christmas party was taking up the whole floor.
2) the meal I had in the bar downstairs took around an hour to arrive. It had been a long day and I didn't eat until 11pm.
The head waiter was very conversant and tried his best to sort things out, and he was not happy that service was so slow because of the Christmas party.
All in all, I would stay again but they really need to sort out the kitchen speed / staff issue during busy times.
P. L.
Lively modern hotel, closer to underground station. A sainsbury local nearby. Automatic light control and curtain control by bedside. International power plug in room.
C. G.
I was on a work visit and transfered from the other Montcalm (brewery) on Chiswell st. They upgraded the room and provided transport back to chiswell st on request. Room was amazing, the lights and A/C were all controlled be a few 7" tablets on the wall and bedsides. These kept crashing if you clicked too quickly, but when patience was applied they worked fine. Much easier than the 11 light switches in the Brewery Montcalm :)
Staff very pleasant and welcoming, very expensive, but I went with work so I didn't worry about that *cough* Corp card *cough cough*. 20ish minute walk to Brewdog Shoreditch ;)
R. C.
Great service on all levels. Really enjoyed our stay. Food is good.
B. S.
Great new classy hotel in the heart of London's new tech precinct. Cool gin bar, well appointed rooms and great location.
E. S.
Nice hotel, located near a tube stop, friendly staff, however, lobby smelled like a backed up toilet for my stay.
A. L.
Great hotel with good amenities. I found the beds a bit too soft for my taste
A.
Amazing hotel. I ordered room service with Bogdan and Bogdan and they were very helpful and very friendly, just like all of the staff here. Wonderful experience
A. A.
Helpful staff, clean room. Would've liked more variety in the hotel menu.
T. R.
We have stayed here several times and always have a superb experience. Highly recommended
j. s.
Beautiful hotel with every luxury you could need. Staff are extremely friendly and professional.
