L.Me and my girlfriend stayed here for two nights, it was brilliant! The room was perfect to chill out in after a busy day and was very cosy. All of the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. They had answers to all of our questions and did as much as they could to make our stay comfortable (which it was). For a couple on a budget it was perfect, they even let us leave our bags with them after we checked out so we didn't have to lug them around all day and we collected them on our way home. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

M.Although the room was clean enough, we were given a room on the lower ground level which was not mentioned at the time of booking, and it had no windows which made it feel more like a prison than a £140 per night hotel. We also asked if we could have a non dairy substitute for milk at time of booking, only to be told on arrival they could not source any( although a tesco,sainsbury's and waitrose are within easy reach). Pretty disappointing really......

I give a high rating as I was very surprised and very happy with the accommodation in the mornington hotel. the equipment was a great bed fantastic and oversized TV. and as for the people they are a work at the reception I was extremely satisfied. one detail that was very much missing there is an lift in the Hotel.
l. p.Very clean hotel. And the underground tube is just a 8 minute walk from the location , or a 35min walk to the main attractions.
S. C.Dominic's customer service was outstanding throughout my stay. The hotel is a hidden gem, very clean, cosy and simple but spacious rooms and feels like a, "home from home" and with an immaculately clean bathroom. The rooms have mirrors, ironing board/iron, secure safe and plenty of power sockets, hair dryer/and shaver section, kettle ( cofee/tea/sugar/milk etc). The reception staff were welcoming, polite, friendly and very accommodating but Dominic and Andrei stood out the mist for me: their customer service is impeccable - diamond quality.
I would advise others to book directly through the hotel and not through a booking agency. I booked through expedia and they cancelled my booking on the day I was supposed to arrive (no warning no email or explanation) I would have had nowhere to stay for 7 nights. Thankfully Dominic was compassionate enough to kindly hold the room for me. I ended up rebooking the room but directly through the hotel, which thanks to Dominic was such a smooth and hassle-free process.
The hotel and area itself (a quiet street in Pimlico, Gloucester street) is very peaceful and calm. Outside is white and some of the rooms have black balconies and with this current gorgeous weather, makes you feel like you're in a different country. The hotel is about a 4 minute walk from London victoria; 10 minutes from central London; also about 20 minutes from Kensington. So it is perfectly connected to the mains parts of London and has a variety of food, cafes, shops and food supermarkets. The hotel do not do any food of itself but there are a variety of food choices within 2 minutes walk and less. Also tons of nail salons, massage parlors close by, as well as sights not too far off such as kensington mansions and gardens and museums. I enjoyed my stay so much I even extended it by one day :) This hotel is perfect for individuals alone, partners also. I would say families too as they do have family rooms. Also, very attractive price points £360 for six nights.

J. J.Firstly I have to say, Dominic (sorry if I spelt it wrong) is an absolute star. My girlfriend and I have stayed in the Mornington a few times during busy work weeks, so we’ve been fortunate to deal with consistently polite concierge but whenever Dominic is on duty he forever gives us five star treatment which we very much appreciate. Give him a raise!! The rooms at Mornington are a fairly decent size, depending on what you book. They’re always tidy and well kept (except one issue I had but it was minor), the location is great and like I said the staff polite. They have a lot of stairs so I would say to differently abled people that may be affected by that to request a lower floor but other than that, it’s a lovely place to stay, bring that cleaning up and you’ll get a FULL 5* review in no time!
H. P. -. v.Excellent location. Smaller rooms, but clean and modern. Amenities are ok... Including an iron. Bed is quite small but hard. The only negative thing is there is no lift in the hotel. For 4* no lift is a no go. For someone who is old or immobile this is gives no option. Otherwise nice staff and helpful.

Rooms are so small, no closet so our backpacks were shoved against entry door. Lots of renovation being done in area but it was very quiet. I would stay here again, price is right.

The economy rooms are ridiculously small, where you don’t even have a place to hang your coat or even leave your luggage (it didn’t have any wardrobe nor drawers, but every room includes an ironing set, I guess it’s to try and save the clothes you cannot hang).
The wifi wasn’t working properly (incredibly slow when seemed to be working).
Worth saying that the staff was always helpful and nice, and they upgraded us to another room when we complained about the room size. Also it must be noted that everything was very clean and the facilities are brand new.

Great for overnight stay after show. Recommend Gails's bakery for breakfast/ brunch. Staff not totally invested in their jobs.
J. S.Location is perfect. Quiet area and close to all sightseeing locations. Rooms are perfect for just a few nights. Rooms are very small but have most of the nescessary items. We booked a superiour 2persons room. The lady at the reception was very friendly when we preferred a different room when we thought the ac couldnt be switched off. Turns out that it's the mechanical ventilation which every room has and can't be turned off. With earplugs it's fine. Only really downside is the bed. It's incredibly small. We measured only 1,20m. This really is not a double bed. My wife and I didn't sleep very well as you can not move without elbowing each other. We won't book this place again due to the bed size. But if you don't mind this then everything else is ok.

Only issue was the wifi, kept having to turn it off and turn it on again to kickstart it into working. Smallish room but honestly for the location it didn't bother me.

I vote 3 even if in reality, if I had to judge only the hotel, it would not be worth more than 2 in the opinion of the writer. The rooms, although new, are really too small. In Italy such inhuman dimensions would not be admitted. We booked a superior hoping for something more..but nothing. There is no room to open even the suitcases. And please, if you are two of you having to move in the room .... Do not quarrel ... There are no standing places .. stay in bed waiting for the other to dress, move, wash and so on. Let's put it on the comic and laugh about it since we're on vacation. So, if you are one of those who move with great enthusiasm and bring the wardrobe from home, as if there was no return ... change hotel. If instead you have a spirit of adaptation, as it should be for those who travel for a weekend, or for a few days, then it's fine. The third star also for the kindness and availability of the staff at the reception, kind, polite.

In Italia non sarebbero ammesse di tali dimensioni disumane. Abbiamo prenotato una superior sperando in qualcosa in più..ma nulla. Non c'e' spazio per aprire neanche le valigie. E per favore, se siete in due a dovervi muovere in camera....Non litigate...Non ci sono posti in piedi..restate a letto in attesa che l'altro si possa vestire, spostare, lavare e via dicendo. Mettiamola sul comico e ridiamoci su dal momento che siamo in vacanza. Quindi, se siete tra quelli che si spostano con molto entusiasmo e si portano dietro l'armadio da casa, come se non vi fosse ritorno...cambiate albergo. Se invece avete spirito di adattamento, come dovrebbe essere per chi viaggia per un Week end, o per pochi giorni, allora va bene. L'hotel est très bien placé : à 10 min à pieds de la gare Victoria et à 2 min de l'arret de bus du 24. Ce bus dessert la plupart des lieux touristiques de Londres. Nous n'avions rien prévu de particulier pour le réveillon. L'équipe s'est démenée pour nous trouver un restaurant au dernier moment.
Cette activité de conciergerie est digne de celle des plus grands palaces.
En deux mots, n'hésitez pas, cet hôtel est fait pour vous.
