I got back to London after nearly one year of remote working and found NC for chance. I stayed in a studio for nearly one month and half, while I was looking for a new house. I am happy to recommend it to everyone, it can be good also for longer periods. NC is good quality price accommodation, the location is perfect, and most of all the staff is AMAZING and always very helpful. If you are having a lot of uncertainties in the length of your staying, my suggestion is to book for more time to avoid stress and then make use of the short notice period. Thank you and take care!

The place is really nice and safe to stay in London, both for short term and long term. The location is very convenient, with bus lines and supermarkets nearby. The area is very green, beautiful and casual as well. Rooms and shared communal areas are all very clean and tidy. The management team have always been very helpful and considerate. They also provide people with places for self isolation during the pandemic. I would highly recommend it!

Safe and clean room as well as super friendly staff :) I would like to recommend this place to others. Convenient to access central London.

Great place to stay, safe and nice location in London, relatively close to the city centre. My en-suite room was clean, large and comfortable. The shared kitchen was modern, very clean, had some basic kitchenware too. The management absolutely great, helpful and professional. A nice park just across the street, corner shops and local stores, take-aways and restaurants close by too. A nice sport centre with swimming pool just minutes away. I sincerely recommended this place!

Great place, clean, room was pretty nice, with shower and toilet inside, comfortable bed, heating works, also a shared kitchen. (appliances are not provided, but one of the staff Raphael, managed to get me few items which was available), staff is very friendly and helpful, near of a beautiful park, bus stop is in front of the residence, I recommend it.

Probably the best short term accomodation in London.
Studios are very confortable, the team is nice. You can receive all your packages if you want to self isolate. The neighberhood is pretty nice too with very good bus connexions to St Pancras and Old Street. There is alos a very nice park near the facility. Price wise it would cost slightly higher than renting a studio but you have all bills included and strong wifi network. It is also very flexible as you can leave with a 7 days notice.
On the other hand, cleaning needs to be improved.

Great stay, place is clean, staff is friendly and professional, my room was comfortable for it size, shared kitchen, I could cook my meals, had a problem with my door lock, one of the staff Rafael, fixed it. Laundry downstairs opened 24hrs, few markets around, and a very busy pub, I think it was because of World Cup, beautiful park across street. My room was a bit hot, but, it’s summer time. Would be good to have air coolers or air conditioners. I enjoyed it, hopefully will come back next year.

Absolutely great place to stay long-or short-term in a very beautiful, casual, green, safe and multi-cultural location in London! Close to the city centre (15 min by tube, 30 min by bus), and a walking distance to Highbury, Islington, Angel, Arsenal, Hackney... The rooms are of good size, en-suite, modern and comfy shared kitchen. The whole place is very well maintained and very clean, 24 hrs reception. The management, reception and cleaning/maintenance staff all professional, helpful and very, very kind! For me the best feature is proximity of a large, beautiful park, just across the road, and a state-of-art sport centre with a large swimming pool (5-10min walk). Many nice parks, cafes, restaurants and shops nearby... I've been here now more than a month, and loving every day here (perhaps as this summer is very nice too) 😀😀😀

I lived in this LHA london structure for one year and a half, sharing a cozy and comfotable studio-flat with my girlfriend. The rooms are all equipped and the staff is super lovely, ready to help you. Great balance quality/price. We're sad to leave our first home in London but it was time to change. I really reccommend this place, also for long term period.

Very nice place when you arrive in London. Rooms are very clean and well arranged. Ideal place to live with a short budget and in good conditions. Staff is also very nice and helpful especially Michael and Rafael. Good location with many bus lines and supermarkets nearby. I strongly recommend it !

Room was very clean, whole place was very clean, shared spaces in and out. Kitchen I shared was always clean and operational and had modern equipment to cook any types of meals. Place was feature rich and had all facilities and amenities either within the building (such as laundry) or nearby (such as shops). Price is high, but you get quality and definitely what you pay for. Highly recommended and would choose to stay there again over other options

Ideal for couples, stayed with my girlfriend few months ago, in a Studio there was a kitchen inside, little bit small, but enough to cook our meals, shower and toilet inside, small desk, it was great as I spent lots of time working on my laptop, the room as warm. The residence provided cleaning once a week, but, i preferred to clean myself as I am a little bit pit, anyways, problems with the room we're sorted in house, staff and managers are great, very helpful. Near the residence, has small shops, pub, park, markets, post office, cash machines, and also buses, overground. If we have to stay in London again, we will probably come back to Newington.

Staff and service have always great and value for money... it's an amazing choice for who needs a good starting point to leave in London...
We are leaving only becouse is time for us the think bigger...
Greatly raccomended!

Having been a guest before I had no hesitations staying at Newington Court again. Very happy with the studio I am currently in which is spacious and well appointed and gets a lot of natural light. Having all utility bills and internet included is great and the staff are always very helpful and efficient. The building has good security and the location is excellent with lovely tree lined streets, easy access to public transport, parks and shops. Highly recommend and gets 5 stars from me.

I stayed at Newington Court few months ago, and I rented a single room for few days , it had a shower and toilet inside, also a small kitchen to cook. The room was clean and big enough. The location is very quiet, in front of a nice park, there is plenty of small shops around and it is not too far from central London. There is few underground and over ground stations near, bus stops just in front or next to the residence. Buses running by are 341,141 or 393. Staff members are very professionals, friendly and have great knowledge of the area. When I needed any information, I just stopped at reception, guys helped and also provided free maps. I would like to recommend and I would stay once again, if I am back to London.

I stayed in London for few weeks and as I was looking for a temporary accommodation, one of my friends recommended Newington Court. I arranged a view and I was impressed with the rooms offered. I chose a single room, i remember it was located on the back side of the building, 4th floor, on my flat hall had another 3 other rooms which we shared a kitchen, nice with fridge, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and few other things, I only had to by my personal kitchen appliances, it was ok, there is store not too far in Manor House station, 5 min by bus, buses pass just in front of residence by the way. The room was nice and very well designed for a single person, which was my case, small double bed, desk and the must important shower and toilet inside. LHA offers no contract, just terms and conditions and with 7 days notice, And i could move out, ideal for me, because I only stay few weeks. Staff members are great, seems to know a lot about the area, provided maps , lot of shops around, beautiful park, just in front, even a post office just few minutes away. I like bed my stay at Newington and I would recommend it as it was recommended to me. thank you Newington Team for your service during my stay.

I am very happy with the studio I am renting. The building is clean, modern and secure. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, with shops and a large park opposite. Access to public transport is excellent, with a number of bus stops close by.
I have no hesitation in recommending Newington Court.

It's a nice place to live because the facilities have a great quality and the staff is helpful and competent. The location is perfect, the neighbourhood is lovely. There are some drawbacks like the poor wifi signal or the bad ventilation of the rooms (due to the design of the building) but in summary my review is very positive. I recommend it for both long and short stay.
J. R. C.
It was just a school break, few days, but looks like the residence is great for a long stay, if you come to London for a job or study. Staff is very friendly and professional, Managers (Michal and Rafael) has a lot of knowledge about the area. Transport is not so bad as there are buses passing by and overground station near by. Lots of restaurants, small shops and express supermarkets. I will come back in the future and I can recommend it to anyone. Thank you XXX.

LHA Newington Court is all you can ask for really. Comfortable place, a very spacious studio and great friendly staff. They're always willing to help.
The place itself is very well organised, with a laundry room downstairs (£2.50 + £1 de Dryer), and a good spacious bike store at the back of the building. Also, they got cleaning services once a week. That was a big + for us.
We spent one month at LHA and we would recommend it to everyone.

An excellent choice for Christmas and New Year Holidays!
This accommodation is very popular in terms of its location, nearby public transport, and surrounding environment, so tbh, it doesn’t really need my recommendation, but I still want to add some points about their staff.
The manager - He is not only experienced and professional but also very patient, explaining the new payment system for residents. I am not surprised if he has repeated the same thing for over one thousand times so far. He is also very responsible because I have still seen him working for several times when he is already off duty. Give the thumbs up to the manager.
The other three male staff - One of them made a positive impression on me the first time I called Newington Court in May. They are also very polite and patient whenever I have a question. Besides, one of them offered me a pan in case I needed to cook, as well as carrying my luggage for me when I checked in (tbh, he didn’t have to do so). Thank them very much for everything they have done for me.
One of the female staff who wears glasses - She is as efficient as the other staff mentioned above, e.g. the moment when my toilet’s light bulb needed to be replaced. Besides, I really like her friendly smile whenever she greets me. Like the above staff, she is also very polite, friendly, and patient when I talk to her.
The security staff - One of the most important considerations is the safety of the accommodation because this is London. These security staff’s main job is to ensure our safety every night. Thank them very much for staying up protecting us. Additionally, you can also check mails and collect parcels if you are unable to do so in the daytime.
The housekeeping staff - The rent includes weekly housekeeping. These staff are volunteers, so I appreciate they clean my room every week. Besides, whenever I talk to them, they are always very polite and friendly. If you prefer cleaning your room by yourself all the time, you can do so as well. Just let the reception staff know.
Racism-related Issues - If you are concerned about these issues, e.g. being treated like a subhuman, unfairly, impolitely, or harshly, I am happy to tell you that in my experience, all of the staff I have mentioned in this review have treated us equally, politely, and friendly, regardless of our races, no matter the manager is present or not, and no matter there are other residents nearby or not.
An added bonus - Long-term residents can still pay the rents every week. As far as I know, we just need to give one week’s notice before departure. How wonderful! But you know what? Many of the residents I have spoken to have been living here for 1ish year already. This is the best proof of how excellent this accommodation is!

I arrived with my partner, our stay was good, But, it could be better, few things that it needs to be corrected to make it good, fix the room window, extraction fan was not working inside of room, light inside of the room was turning on and off. Beside that, the place is ok, next to a local pub and a park, small shop in front, public transport near, few minutes from a great fish restaurant , great staff from reception, polite, professional, helpful. Free wi-fi, tv room, laundry room open 24hrs, you can request change from reception if necessary, room cleaning which we didn't use. No bad. There are few negative bits, nut overall pretty good for the value of money.

I stayed into Single room for few weeks, due to a training near by, the residence is not too far from Angel, where I been trained, I was taking a bus 341 and took me 15 min, and the bus stop was in front of the residence, very convenient, my room was big enough and also had a shower inside, perfect, reception accepted cash or plastic for payments, Staff are nice, helpful, special Fatma and Raphael. also there is a cash machine few minutes walk, plenty of turkish restaurants, shops, park and gym near, great activities happening everyday. I would like to come once again and if possible I would stay at Newington again, totally recommend it.

Fantastic residential accommodation in a leafy and vibrant area of north London. Close enough to the center for easy transport access, but far enough to be quiet and peaceful.

A comfortable, nice and friendly place where to stay. Good commute to any part of London. A bit expensive though. However, it is worthy.
