Reviews of NOX HOTELS | Olympia
Very nice and worthwhile hotel.
At first there was some hair in the bed and on the towels, upon request they were replaced and reupholstered.
The staff remained super friendly and I can't relate to the other reviews.
I can only recommend it to everyone and for the price you should not complain like that. We are in London and not just anywhere.
Staff that I came into contact with were friendly and courteous. I do have to recommend the cleanliness. I found the location so perfect to access all the sights, museums, and theatre. Continental breakfast included in the price was superb. We would use this hotel again for the locality.
The rooms aren't big. There is a bit of noise from the room above and the neighbouring property but not much from passing traffic. All the staff were speaking in east european languages but their english was fine. Good central location on bus & tube routes. All said I enjoyed the neatness of the room.
I'd rather call it a bed and breakfast cause the room is basically only a bed and bathroom... But it's clean with complimentary tea and coffee and good service with manned reception all day and night.
The big negative is our door slammed so you thought it was being opened every time an adjacent door was passed through... And the window let through a lot of noise from the streets.
Personally i wasnt a fan of how firm the matress was, but i suppose some might prefer it that way.
Fairly basic hotel. No room service or restaurant but they do have a breakfast area in the basement. Some rooms have been recently refurbished with white IKEA style. Basic and functional but it would be better if there were usb charger points or sockets near the bed.
Booked as a close base for an exhibition at Olympia, which location wise it is perfect for. The location was very close to the train station. The staff are friendly. My room was very clean and that was important. I would recommend the hotel and would stay again if visiting that area of London.
I would have hated to see the normal double as this was quite tiny compared to double rooms we've had anywhere in the past. Location wise the hotel is close to Olympia and is served by a number of buses that will take you to central London via Kensington. I really enjoy staying here.
Small but very comfortable basement (with window ) room . B01.
Friendly staff.
Great transport links . #9 bus stops 100m away
Free bottled water.
Good price especially for west London
Awesome location -- we walked from here to Hyde Park most mornings and, at night, back from Piccadilly Circus -- and large, clean room. Breakfast is early and limited, but oh man what a great location.
My partner and i checked into the Russel court and the hotel was really lovely - bedroom was great and location was great!
We were aware of the nightclub in hotel but after speaking to some staff we didnt realise how busy the area would get. As we had our elderly grandmother checking in from a flight later that night we were concerned and thought it may be better to find a different hotel suited to her need. My partner spoke to reception and explained the concerns we had. It was completely our mistake but they were so fantatsic about it! More than helpful of allowing us to move and super friendly! Correspondence after we checked out was also great.
Would definitely go back there - just without an elder this time! lol
Just a quick note before I get into this review, I was on a business trip and there for my business chose and paid for my accommodation. Also I only stayed at the hotel for 1 night. The room I stayed in was on the top floor, it was room number 303.
The customer service was all good and I have no complaints about it. 24/7 reception was a really nice thing to have. The electronic key card worked flawlessly. Complimentary WiFi worked fine, and they also offered a sheet of paper for instructions on how to connect to it if you didn't know how to, which was a nice touch. For the speed of WiFi see the included pictures, where I included a speed test using the Speedtest app.
The room, oh boy. However, let's go over the good things first. There were Swans nicely decorated on the bed (see pictures). The room was clean and didn't see anything dirty. There was a remote and on wall control for the air conditioning. A TV is also wall mounted at a reasonable angle to be viewed while laying down in bed. There was a good amount of sockets to be found in the room. They are international electric sockets (was not able to test that, but says so on the website).
A wardrobe with a safety deposit box, extra pillows, flip-flops, wardrobe hangers and a mini fridge with 20ish milk sachets (see pictures). A very little desk can be found with a chair, it has complimentary tea, coffee and sugar (white and brown) with a kettle. Also a night table with a phone and little night lamp.
The bathroom overall, was clean and looked nice (En-suite shower). Some complimentary conditioner, shampoo, shower gel and soap was provided in the bathroom. There was also a hair dryer in the bathroom.
Okay, let's go into the issues I had with the room.
First off, when I went into the shower after my work/meeting around at 17:30, I went into the shower, and there was a lack of hot water. I ended up having a shower in slightly colder water than I usually, which seems weird in my opinion having a lack of hot water at that time. However, I did have another shower in the morning and there was hot water.
Also in the shower, it was a little bit too slippery and I did nearly slip. I was very tired after my meeting and travelling all day, so I wanted to kick back in bed and sleep. As it was still about 6pm, it was still sunny outside, and after closing both curtains, sun light still persisted to come through. Anyway, as I can’t sleep with light, I decided to watch some TV, however there was a lack of TV channels, for example there was not even any BBC channels. So much for "Freeview". So I decided to go on my phone and watch something instead. After watching some YouTube for a while I wanted to charge my phone, however for some reason they did not think of adding a plug near the bed, so I just ended up getting out of my bed when I did end up going to sleep to charge my phone. Also, that night desk with the lamp is useless, as it is not near the bed and I ended up using either my phone's flashlight in the night, or use the main lights. When trying to sleep, my next door guest his TV was easily being heard in my room as there is a door which normally used to connect mine to his room (it was locked by a door) and sound was going through/underneath the door. After waking up, I decided to make myself a cup of coffee and put the kettle on. However, I realised there was already a bit of water in there, which is most likely from the previous guest, just something I wanted to mention. Anyway, I really needed a coffee in the morning so I decided to make myself one anyway. When I realised, it was not plugged in, and no nearby socket was there. I ended up moving the kettle to a socket.
Overall for the room, there wasn't much thought given to it when designing it and therefor lead to bad experience I had.
Wonderful room with a very pretty bathroom, not to mention how amazing the shower is. Only thing is, how others mentioned before, is that the walls may be a bit too thin, and every sound comes through. Had a great few days there!
Very nice and clean, the staff where very helpful and nice and again a very clean place
The breakfast was very poor. The croissants had not been warmed up and the apples on the counter were not fresh. I got the feeling from the late rooms advisor the staff member at the hotel wasn't the most helpful. Privacy is terrible noisewise so don't go here for a private conversation or ro***tic night away.
I was in a business trip to London and the occupancy rates were high so I looked a little further west towards Olympia for the Russell Court. I will say however everywhere throughout is very clean. In fact, my room on the ground floor was enormous with about 12 foot ceilings.
Very nice little hotel, our double bed room had two double beds and had all amenities, only downside is 15 min walk to underground station.
Russell Court was in an excellent part of London, tube easily accessible. Staff was very helpful and room was immaculate. I WILL RETURN !
Friendly staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast. Close to bus and Overground. Definitely recommend.
Great comfortable room, friendly staff. So nice I booked my next hotel stay there as well!
Nice, quiet hotel, in a good zone in London, clean, modern, with breakfast room, affordable prices. I recommend it to everyone.
Room small but functional. Very clean. Good staff. Breakfast is continental but quality food.
Very clean warm and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff. Very reasonable price
Very clean and in a lovely location. Bed was very comfortable and they added nice little touches like free slippers. Huge bath towels and the shower was amazing. To be honest this was at the least the standard of a good Premier Inn. Quiet street and the room attendants was lovely. Room even had air conditioning which in London I now know is essential to be able to not melt before you sleep
Nice small hotel for couple of nights stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.
Awesome little hotel. All new inside, brk was good. Affordable. Walking distance to Olympia, far from tube stations.
Fourth year I stayed at this hotel amazingly convenient for Olympia Exhibition Centre high quality bedding comfortable night's sleep good sized rooms would highly recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in this area
Okay small business hotel. Good to put the head down in the night. Great location for events at the Olympia
Cannot fault this hotel ... Lovely comfortable beds great shower ... Very warm welcome ....amazing hotel
Great price, great neighborhood, 24hr front desk, and a lift. Rooms are quite small so be aware!
Nice clean hotel in a great location. Lovely breakfast
Clean, tidy, friendly staff and good breakfast. Rooms are small though.
Nice place, comfy beds and friendly staff. Great place to stay for events in the area.
If you are on a convention at Olympia, you cannot get much nearer.
Besides this the room is very tiny and smells.
Rooms were nice and clean, plenty of hit drinks to choose from and 2 bottled waters,
The room felt a little cramped in certain places for my liking but that's just me, nothing actually wrong with it so couldn't fault it really as pricing was ideal and only me staying there
Spotless pristine and newly refurbished Amazing air con you can book direct and save 15% best value I've ever had in a low cost hotel
Lovely place, friendly staff, close to bus and train routes. Not too touristy.
Great location. Closer to public transit and central london. Staffs are friendly.
Good, clean friendly. Good enough for a quick stay over.
Good prices, nice rooms, wonderful staff
Nice hotel.
Great value
Easily accessible small hotel adjacent to Olympia.
Clean, tidy, friendly amd perfectly located for Olympia.
Room nice and clean, easy checkin.
Awesome place. Was staying there 2 times. Good and friendly. Manager can resolve anything and answer any questions. Thanks.
The room is new and pretty comfortable
Affordable hotel in a good London location
Small rooms but all you need for London
Great place. Super value for the price I paid.
Good one ....many places are easily accessible
Homey. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable.
Lovely hotel
Great for the price. Lovely staff.
Very good
Wonderful accommodation :)
Very clean hotel. Beds were comfortable, no problem sleeping at night. A/C was effective. Quite neighborhood, looked like a safe area. We’re a family of 4 staying for 4 nights in a family room. The location is accessible via Tube and Bus. The room is smaller than the pictures made me believe but enough space anyway. Would recommend and come back again.
cozy hotel in Kensington
It is very nice....
Nice
Good
Very organised
Dies what it says on the tin
Friendly staff
Nice place
Nice and calm area. It’s convenient to get to the center, I recommend using a double decker, it’s faster than taking the metro, buy general passes for the required number of days. The hotel is cozy, clean, the rooms are newly renovated, everything works and the staff is friendly. Excellent breakfasts for this level!
Budget hotel located near central London. Organized and friendly staff. Small but very clean rooms. Daily cleaning. Being located in West Kensington with bus 9 you can reach the center in 15 minutes.
fantastic we had the basement room which was spotlessly clean and homely with tea and coffee facilities tv iron comp slippers and comfy beds the food was really good and catered for all. Staff we lovely happy polite and friendly and really helpful it was also really close to the venue making life easy on my disabled mum. there was a lift as well. we really enjoyed our stay thank you
Very nice hotel. The room was a bit small but very clean and warm.
It was great value for money, and the ladies at the breakfast buffet were super nice and nothing was missing.
Superb hotel, small, clean. 105 or 109 are superb.
The facilities are new, the room is great, with slippers, hairdryer, iron and board, in the bathroom there is gel, shampoo, conditioner and bodymilk, as a courtesy there were a couple of cookies, coffee, tea, water and a machine to heat the water.
The breakfast was very good, fruit, yogurt, pastries, coffee, cocoa, tea, boiled eggs and 6 hot dishes.
If I come back...I repeat!!
The hotel is good in general terms, it is in a quiet area, good cleanliness, normal breakfast in a tiny dining room and very good service from the staff.
Small but comfortable hotel.
Good service, good breakfast, well located. Very quiet neighborhood.
Perfect.
Thank you.
(Translated) The hotel is ok. Rooms and bathroom to a good standard only small. From this place it is close to most of London's attractions. recommend

Hotel jest ok. Pokoje i łazienka na dobrym standardzie tylko małe. Z tego miejsca jest blisko do większości atrakcji Londynu. Polecam
Clean but very noisy hotel. Breakfast is plentiful and fresh. Nice staff. Elevator available.
Excellent value for money, very kind and helpful staff 24 hours a day, for cleanliness I don't think you can find better in London. I would definitely stay here again. 20 minutes from the center.
Nice location. A bit far from the nearest sub, but a decent walk. Breakfast was good and typically British, and the service was quite decent - nothing special, but not bad either! The rooms were a decent size, with two separate beds. Very nice bathroom, but a bit slow hot water the first day.
Great, relatively quiet location. Very clean room. Very nice service. Free tea coffee cookies. Even an iron is provided. I recommend!!
(Translated) Hotel very ok, friendly staff, polite on the other hand messy carpets, problematic wc, we slept near the breakfast room and it was very noisy early in the morning ...
(Original)
Hotel très correct, personnel sympathique, poli en revanche Moquettes malpropre , wc problématique , nous avons dormi près de la salle de déjeuner et c'était très bruyant tôt le matin...
So I really liked this hotel. £124 including breakfast but I could have used the code (see picture) to reduce it down to about £100. The price precludes it from getting 5 stars.
All the rooms are small but newly decorated, and every square inch has been thought through and utilised.
Swing lights on either side of the bed
Two shower heads
Good selection of nice toiletries
Very good selection of refreshments
For me, they also include the basic items I expect in any decent hotel, namely, the facility to have an open window for fresh air, and some free bottled water.
Would stay again
Small hotel, the rooms are very small, very clean and well maintained. No elevator. Would go back
The accommodation is a bit small, but the breakfast is delicious.
Staff are friendly
There's an underground across the street, so it's easy to tour.
Номер не очень маленький, что часто встречается в Лондоне. Чисто и мебель не из прошлой жизни.
Далеко от метро. Не работал телевизор и фен.
(Translated) One of the best value for money! Small hotel but attention and great hotel service. I recommend !

Un de meilleurs rapports qualité prix! Petit hôtel mais attention et service de grand hôtel. Je recommande !
Tiny room, very clean.
There is no lobby. Small reception desk.
Very close to public transport, cafe
Super nice place. One is looked at a little too intensely at breakfast when eating
(Translated) Newly renovated and clean. But come as a surprise to deposit a £ 50 deposit upon arrival.

Nyrenoveret og rent. Men kom som en overraskelse at man skal lægge et depositum på 50 pund ved ankomst.
Very nice staff, clean rooms, warm, delicious breakfast.
A good place to stay, just needs an elevator.
Small hotel in a very good location
Great location, just a few minutes to the Hammersmith tube station and on the #9 bus route. Our breakfast was included and it was very good. The room was kept in excellent condition. The staff is very helpful and efficient. We really enjoyed our 13 night stay.
Good, value for money, wouldn't hesitate to book again.
Welcoming. Very kind. Close to the metro.
Very British hotel
(Translated) No bar

Geen bar
Small but good
Affordable accommodation in London
The room is small
Great hotel, great facilities and friendly accommodating staff. The only downside to this hotel is that it's quiet small and the doors and walls are thin so we could hear everything going on, and also due to the breakfast facilities being downstairs there was a greasy smell greeting you as you Frist walk into the building, however the rooms smelt fine.
