Reviews of NOX Waterloo
We had an amazing stay. The hotel is very good value for money. The room was clean and modern. We had a view of the Londen Eye. It even had a microwave, stove top and kitchen utensils to prepare food if you wanted to. They cleaned the room every day. The only downside for us was the bed, which was a bit small for two tall Dutch people; we still had good nights of sleep though. Other than that only positive words, especially for the staff like Naymur who was very kind and we had some good conversations about football. We will come back next time!
Stay was clean, good and location was good. Receptionist was also helpful and friendly, would recommend. Window was stuck and couldn’t open though.
Lots of shops, restaurants and cafe by the street. Weekend market opened along the street too.
The location of the hotel was amazing. Our receptionist, Naymur, was the sweetest. Always friendly and always helpful. Will gladly come back again and again!
Great service and help from Naymur. He knows everyone who is staying here, so you really feel safe even though you are near a big city. Great stay and friendly staff.
Great value for money, clean rooms and quiet hotel. Great location very accessible location, Naymur was very friendly and very helpful during our stay. Would recommend and stay again!
Stayed for one night. Great location and the room has everything you might need:- coffee machine, kettle, toaster, hairdryer, iron. Room was spotless. Overall I had a really comfortable nights stay.
Special thanks to team NOX ,especially Naymur, Raj, Divya Patel, Logan, Manish Kaur, Hardin, Rakhi and also other team members. My stay was extremely good one. Nice n friendly staff was another reason to smile.
My wife and I stayed at Nox Waterloo twice in 2024, 10 nights in September and 12 nights in December. The hotel is immaculate, the staff friendly and helpful, and the location can't be beat. It's very walkable to many sites, and Waterloo Station is literally a few minutes away, giving access to multiple tube lines, railways, and buses. During the day, Lower Marsh transforms into a pedestrian market with many street food vendors. There are multiple cafes and restaurants just outside the hotel's door.
We were fortunate to have picked this hotel the first visit and it will always be our choice should we visit London again.
Very impressed with the Nox Waterloo hotel. It’s in a very central convenient location, only a few minutes walking from Waterloo station. The rooms are spacious, clean and even included a mini kitchenette area with fridge. The hotel staff are also very welcoming and helpful. Great value for money and would recommend to family and friends.
We were very happy with our stay! The location of the hotel is excellent – many attractions are within walking distance, and public transport connections are great.
The service was outstanding: We arrived early and were able to store our luggage without any issues. When we returned later to check in, our bags had already been brought up to our room – such a thoughtful touch! All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
One small downside: The hairdryer in the room overheated quickly and shut off after a short time. Also, the room could have been a bit cleaner, but that’s really just nitpicking.
Overall, the value for money and the location were unbeatable. We’d be happy to stay here again!
Great rooms. Comfortable. Quiet. Helpful staff. Convenient to Waterloo station, but not many good food options super close by.
The location is central and close to water loo station. The room was very clean and customer service was great. Namur was a great help during our stay. I would definitely came back again!
Great location especially into central London. Tube station a small walk and general accommodation was lovely including Naymur the receptionist who was great and really created a lovely experience.
Impressed by the cleanliness of this hotel, I recommend it 100%. Naymur was a great receptionist; he is very friendly and welcoming.
Great stay we had here for 3 nights and staffs were friendly, Naymur receptionist was exceptional and room was complete with everything we need.
Great value for money. Rooms were nice and clean. Very close to the subway. Bed was a bit uncomfortable but it’s still good. I would definitely stay there again.
Was looking for a place close to Waterloo station and was pleasantly surprised with the Nox Waterloo. They kept my bags safely before check in and after check out and overall service was great. There are microwaves, little fridge and a coffee machine in every room! Thanks Naymur and everyone else that helped me have a good stay!
Very nice hotel in the price range. It was clean. We enjoyed staying there. The Location is also really good, you are in 15 minutes by foot at the river and the London eye.
It was really nice Stay! The Room is small but very well designed so you have a small kitchen and Even an ironboard if you need :)
The Location is very good, directly in a sweet street with a Food market and nice Cafés.
All the Staff is really nice, Naymur was really helpful and Friendly.
It is all very clean.
I will come back!
The location is central and close to the main attractions. The room was spacious and very clean. The customer service was excellent. Naymur was great help during our stay.
We stayed at Nox Waterloo for 4 nights in a no-windows room. That wasn't too much of an inconvenience, however the ventilation could have been a little better. The room was clean and sufficiently equipped, even though we slightly doubted the safety of the kitchenette (it was set up inside two closets, really cool placement but I still wonder if there was any fire hazard). Also, the soundproofing among the rooms was not good, which startled us at times. The bed was queen-sized, not king-sized, which barely fit two normal sized people, but the mattress was fairly comfortable. The location was just perfect, the tube and many bus stops were located within 5 mins and the general region felt pretty safe and calm. Thanks a lot to all staff for their amazing hospitality and, especially, to Naymur who helped us through WhatsApp, before we even arrived!
All in all, it's a great and affordable choice for everyone, maybe slightly inconvenient if you have small kids.
A truly amazing little spot in the heart of London. Staff and accommodation were near perfect.
A few WiFi issues but nothing terrible.
Staff receptionist Divya was really helpful in every way possible. Great employee
It’s noted as a 4 star but I’ve stayed in enough hotels to know even with a bit of teal and gold with Basic lighting is not that. No bar, no restaurant just come to a room with a microwave( even if there isn’t a Tesco to get a ready meal. )||Whatever is the definition of a 4 star hotel this feels more like a Travelodge but with just teal.. budget friendly though good location .||This is a 3 star hotel at best.
Our stay was lovely, the hotel was very clean, awesome location, and Naymur at reception was very helpful!
Fantastic location, right next to the graffiti tunnels, only slight issue being 190cm the bed was a little short! But not a massive issue. Staff were very friendly and happy to help. Clean!!
Amazing value for money, first hotel with a decent rainfall shower I've encountered. Very clean, 24 hour reception is very useful and the location is great for travellers as it's a few minutes walk from Waterloo station
Loved the hotel. Location is perfect, really close to Waterloo station. Room was very good, clean and enough space. Naymur, the receptionist, was very helpfull and even brought our bags to our room while we went out.
The room was a bit on the small side but well designed to get everything in. There was a little kitchenette that had a microwave, toaster, hotplate, kettle and there is also a espresso machine.
We checked in early but the room wasn't available til 3pm however we left our bags and when we came back later they were in the room waiting for us.
Great location. 5 minute walk from Waterloo Station with a great variety of shops on the street. There is also a food market every day that get ls really busy at lunch time with people buying all sorts of different cuisines.
Good hotel overall.
Excellent! Quiet (located on a pedestrian street), near the tube and 5 min walk to a medium sized grocery (plus a small one right in front). 20-25 min walk to the Westminter neighbourghood. Lots of restaurants on the same street. Great shower, good insonorisation. We had the room with the little kitchenette (kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge, hob) and it was very practical. Naymur and the other staff were efficient and friendly.
Very satisfied with cleanliness and location. Would definitely recommend. Five minute walk to the London Eye. Be sure to check out the Philly-themed sports bar in the tunnel. Thanks!
Affordable hotel in the centre. A few minutes to Waterloo metro/train station. Quiet street with several pubs and shops. Within 20 minutes you are in the centre. Rooms clean, tidy every day. Service very friendly and helpful. Air conditioning available.
The hotel is a proper hidden gem! It’s so clean and the rooms are so spacious and comfortable and we can’t believe we’ve found a hotel with a cooking area! Will definitely be back xx
One of the few hotels in London who gets it right, great and welcoming check in, great location with Waterloo Station and short 5 minutes walk away, great service from the team, exceptional Housekeeping lady and the reception staff were cool professionals too
Withing walking distance to London Eye, Big Ben, St James Park, many great routes for those who like running in the morning, all the way to Battersea Park or Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens
Well to Nox Waterloo team for a great stay
Excellent location and a clean and comfy stay. Would definitely recommend. The staff were all polite, friendly and helpful!
Lovely hotel with friendly staff in the heart of London! Alisha was especially nice and accommodating, thank you so much for making our stay so great.
The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by plenty of shops, quirky restaurants, and cafes. There's also an Iceland store right across the street, which is convenient for grabbing fresh milk and snacks.||I tried reaching out to the hotel ahead of my stay with a few questions, but I didn’t get a response. They do reply via WhatsApp, even though it's the same number as the phone line, which was a bit confusing.||The check-in process was a bit rocky – I was mistakenly checked in as someone else and was told it was a Booking.com error, though I know this is untrue. ||The room itself was nicely decorated but quite small, and I missed having a desk to work from. There were also a few practical issues – the sockets were in odd places, there wasn’t a full-length mirror, and the ironing board was smaller than usual.||On the second day, the hairdryer broke. The maintenance team tested it, filmed the issue, and reported it, but didn’t provide a permanent replacement. My iron also tripped the electrical system, and when I couldn’t reach reception, I had to go down to sort it out myself as there are no phones in the room. ||Overall, the location is fantastic for exploring this side of London, but the accommodation didn’t quite meet expectations. I’d likely look elsewhere next time.
I was visiting from Australia and attending a friend’s birthday in the Waterloo area so I was looking for somewhere to spend the night that was close and wouldn’t break the bank. I stumbled across Nox on booking.com and it looked good so I took a chance on it. I’m so glad I did - it was absolutely perfect. It’s in a great location on a lively street that had a great food market while I was there, and even though my room overlooked the street and there are bars nearby it was fairly quiet. I walked across Waterloo Bridge and ended up in Covent Garden which wasn’t too much of a trek, then walked back via the London Eye, so it’s close to a lot of things. The room was very clean and perfectly sized for a single occupant, although it would have been good for a couple too, and the kitchenette hiding in the cupboard was a pleasant surprise. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and overall it was a fantastic stay. I’d be very happy to stay again if I’m in the area.
Fantastic location near Waterloo station and rooms were excellent. Fridge, kettle toaster and comfy beds. Shower was super powerful. Staff super friendly! Would stay again and highly recommend!
The location of the hotel is fantastic, with everything you need right at your doorstep. The room was very good overall, though the bed could have been a bit bigger. Having a kitchen was a great bonus, and there’s a Street market just outside the door, along with another supermarket nearby. Public transportation, including buses and the underground, is easily accessible, making it convenient to get anywhere. Big Ben is just a 10-minute walk away, which was amazing. The service was excellent too—whenever I had an issue, the reception staff were very helpful. The room was cleaned daily. I will definitely be coming back!
I had booked the Double Studio
Amazing stay , very clean rooms , prompt service , ideal for solo travellers !
Front desk Mr. Naymur was very helpful and informative .
Will visit again !
The Nox Waterloo Hotel was perfect for us. Naymur, the receptionist, was very helpful and made our stay a lot of easier.
We will come back for sure
Great service from staff and the hotel was really clean, well kept and well located for central activities. Thanks to Naymur on reception for his help!
Very good stay in this Hôtel ! Everything was perfect. Thank you to Naymur and his good mood ! We will come back
Fabulous stay. Hotel great and in a super location. Thank you to Naymur for great hospitality. We will be back.
Very good stay, nice optimal position. Naymur always ready to give us informations and a very kind person
Staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home. Great value for a clean, modern lodging near train station, bars and restaurants, and the city.
We stayed there for 3 nights and we couldn't have chosen a better place! it's in a beautiful street that has everything you need, just across the hotel you can find grocery. it's right in the centre, but it's more quiet. The staff is very friendly and the room very clean. It's a little bit small but really nice organised, it had refrigerator and a microwave. definitely, if I visit again, England, I will stay there.
The location was perfect, very near the waterloo underground station and from de London eye. It has a supermarket just in front of it. The bedroom was vert comfortable and clean, with a very nice kitchen and the service was very nice too. Perfect experience
Brilliant views of the London Eye, Double studio room spacious, comfortable and hygienic. Excellent staff who were very welcoming. Access to Waterloo station in only 5 minutes and bustling atmosphere with markets and restaurants outside.
Location and hotel were amazing, however, the customer service was shocking. The day reception lady was amazing but the night/morning dude was extremely rude, unknowledgeable and just didn't care, it appeared as he had no passion for his job.
Had a pleasant stay, staff is friendly and helpful. I can recommend this place.
Perfect location
The room is clean and with everything you need
Good price
Lots of shops,bar,restaurants around.
Unfortunately we didn't get the room we required when we make the booking 😥😥😥😢😢😢
It was a wonderfull experience. We spent four night at Nox Waterloo and everyday our room was cleaned! Staff was really helpfull too. Highly recommended🙏🏻
We have just had a two night stay at NOX WATERLOO.
We were greeted by Neymar at reception who was very polite and welcoming.
Our room, although quite small (not unusual for central London) was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need for a short stay, including a fridge and small kitchen..
Location was perfect and many London landmarks are within easy walking distance.
There was minor noise from the trains but you are conveniently positioned very close to Waterloo station.
Plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes very close by.
Being able to leave our cases in the luggage room was useful.
We would recommend and would stay again.
This is a beautiful place in the centre of London close to a lot of attractions nice quite neighbourhood
Very neat clean modern room and walk-in shower
We are very pleased with our stay will definitely come again.
Spotlessly clean, great shower, well equipped wee kitchen area, friendly and welcoming staff, perfect location, highly recommend.
The hotel was on the cutest street with lots of dining options! During the week, there was a small pop market which was fun to walk through. The hotel was located next to an underground station and a bus stop, which made going to our different destinations easier.
The hotel staff, specifically Naymur, was helpful during our check in and check out. We enjoyed the option to store our bags for free when we arrived earlier in the day. When it was time to check in, Naymur already placed our bags in our rooms which was so nice. Our room was cleaned daily, which is my favorite thing to return to after a busy day of adventures. The hotel was clean and was a great price!
The receptionists Varj and Namero were the lovliest ever! They were very kind and attnetive always willing to help when I stayed.
The rooms were clean and showers were amazing.
Definitely not a 4 star hotel. The rooms are tiny (expected for London) and the bed was barely queen sized. The bathroom fixings were coming off the walls and the whole apartment wasn’t properly cleaned. Our door shuddered every time someone entered our floor. Good location though and nice staff.
Lovely room with small kitchenette and decent size bathroom with great shower. Our room was clean and quiet, it was more spacious than a lot of London hotels for the price. Location is excellent, there are shops, bars, supermarket and cafes right outside the door on the pedestrian street. It's an easy walk to all the main sites, theatre area and Waterloo station is right next door. Fully recommend this hotel and would stay again. Naymur was very pleasant and helpful during our stay and at checkout 🙏
There was a positive vibe from the first step. The lady at the reception welcomed me warmly with a smile. Staff were extremely helpful (reception and housekeeping). They answered all my question and explained everything. My room (07) was very clean and cosy. I was positively surprised that there was a small kitchen with a microwave, kettle, induction hob, sink, pots, glasses, etc. Bed was very comfy! I will definitely stay at this hotel during my next visit to London. Highly recommended!
Beautiful hotel and friendly staff, in a good area full of food options and goid connection to the central city, the price is too good to be true for this kind of hotel and service!
We had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed the room and hospitality. Naymur was amazing and very helpful.
We had the nicest stay here, definitely recommend, close to the metro station and quick travels to the important places.
Great service from Naymur as well (:
Very good and proper hotel
Naymur was cery friendly to help with everything.
This is a very cute, recently remodeled hotel. It's in a central location, very close to a tube station. We booked a triple studio for 3 adults and we found the room great! There's a double bed (think queen size if you're from the US) and a single bed (twin size). There was a mini fridge, microwave, and stove top, as well as some dishes. There's also a closet and a safe. The bathroom was great and we gave the shower 5 stars as well. We arrived in London before check-in but the hotel happily stored our bags and took them to the room for us before we came back to officially check-in. Would definitely stay here again!
It was a wonderful journey, it was my first time in England (London). It was a wonderful experience, this Hotel was very good and clean. There are a lot of shops and there are a lot of places to go eat something. I recomment the NOX Hotel.
This is a great location to stay in when visiting London! Highly recommend. The rooms are snug but that's customary in England / Europe. Again, the location is perfect- less than a 5 min walk to the public transport that takes you everywhere in the city!
The hotel is In prime location and only a 5 minute to a train station. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and the room was perfect for a city break. It was really clean and the shower was great. Will definitely be back
Bright airy reception. Staff were pleasant. Naymur was particularly helpful. We were in a lower ground floor room and I was not looking forward to no windows but barely noticed. Our room was very clean and plenty of space. The little kitchenette was a surprise - we were only staying one night so didn’t use but a great addition. I would highly recommend and will book Nox from now on when in London.
Really good location, close to public transport. Room was clean and tidy. Excellent value for money
Great value for a central London stay. Clean and good amenities with the kitchenette. I’d definitely stay again!
Perfect location 5 minute walk to Waterloo Station. Staff very helpful, room is small but functional and having a kitchenette is amazing. Grocery shop literally across the road. The street is quiet with an an amazing pizza place just down the road
Everything was amazing, Naymur helped us really well en was really friendly. We definitely recommend this hotel!!
Nov was a great stay right in the heart of Waterloo. Naymur was really nice and helped us enjoy our trip. Thank you!
Excellent service by staff. Received a room upgrade.
Room was clean, tidy and shower/toilet was great!!!
Definitely would stay again.
Highly recommend.
