Staff excellent. Tatiana and celina amazing in particular, popped some extras in my room for my birthday. Rooms have everything you need, very clean, toothbrush, toothpaste, sewing kit, beauty kit, soaps, shower caps. Shops just a min away, beds comfy, rooms perfect temp, breakfast great.

I highly recommend that you go for a double room. We were accidentally given a single room, And it was tiny. I complained to reception and they managed to give us our double room as intended. The room looks and feels nice and of high quality. The staff at this hotel are super friendly and very very helpful. They are probably the best staff I’ve encountered at any hotel in the UK.

Recently booked a couple of nights at the Park Grand Lancaster Gate Hotel with my family for New Years, it’s a great hotel in an excellent location. We specifically chose it because it’s so close to Hyde park and Winter Wonderland. The rooms are excellent and well equipped with a fridge and a microwave which is rare in hotels these days. Very clean and cosy so no complaints. The best thing however about our stay was the service we received from the staff, specifically from Reeshel at reception. There was a slight problem at check in however she was extremely welcoming and helpful, taking ownership to quickly put things right. She is an asset to the hotel and her efforts should be recognised by hotel management. Her customer service was perfect.

We came for an Indian inspired afternoon tea on the weekend using a voucher. Wow, this was a pleasant surprise! The sandwiches, scones, Indian finger food and dessert were all super tasty, accompanied by a very nice bottle of Prosecco. Steve took excellent care of us. What a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon and have an autumnal stroll through Hyde Park. Plus it doesn't blow the bank. Highly recommended for couples.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I had a great time with them. Since I was there for one night I even got a free upgrade! 🥳 The room was fairly small, but pleasent. However, the floor above me squeaked so bad that it kept me up until the people in the room above me stopped walking. WALKING! Lastly, the breakfast: I am not a fan of the English breakfast but this is what you get. In addition you have the regular buffet which was serviceable. All in all a decent breakfast but nothing to rave about.

I visited today for Indian Afternoon Tea. It was a brilliant experience. The food was varied and tasted great. There was a great selection of both sweet and savoury as well as a bottle of prosecco included. The staff were so very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Had amazing service from Saby who also surprised me with a treat for my birthday with was a thoughtful touch.

Came for afternoon tea yesterday whilst visiting London with our Mum. We couldn't of asked for better service. One of the best afternoon teas we've had. Good selection of teas, sandwiches and sweet things. Scones were amazing and not as overwhelming as some afternoon tea sweet collections can be. A good range of sweet and savory and great coffee too. Really quite disappointed, considering the price point, we expected a higher quality of both service and accommodation. The premium style club room was small, dark and with dilapidated furniture. Multiple stains, marks and broken doors etc really detracted from the 'feel' of the stay in addition to a cramped shower room, cheap pillows and two single mattresses pushed together was not particularly comfortable. Overall fell very short of the description and misleading photos. Wouldn't stay here again in a rush.

Breakfast came in 3 options: continental buffet, english breakfast or a la carte. The buffet was decent, but with no real selection there, very small, but the a la carte was really good! We also had tons of cosmetics in the bathroom and that was pretty good as they were enough for our stay! However, a real bad selection on the breakfast buffet. Additionally, the room was extremely small, which we didn't expect.

From being an airline worker and traveling all around the world, Park Grand London Lancaster Hotel is one of the top notch hotels for the price you pay. The hospitality at this hotel is definitely one of the best I have ever experienced, the rooms are very clean, the breakfast is amazing with great quality food and couple of minutes walking from the train station that takes you anywhere around London. Cheers to Peter, Vincy, Colson, and the best server nicknamed "Patron" as he makes sure your cappuccino is always topped up. Thanks for the great service at this hotel!

Came here for an afternoon tea where wife bought a voucher for a chocolate afternoon tea from a different Park Grand hotel. However the main one was not open and they recommended us to go for this branch. Initially we were quite disappointed as we paid extra for the voucher at the different branch and this one had similar offer but cheaper. We could not get the same package as what we expected. After few talks, the staff finally gave us some extras to compensate with our losses. It was nice gesture for them to do so and I really appreciate it. The afternoon tea was great with the chocolate scone being some thing different. Overall it was nice and cosy in a cooling environment.

Incredible experience! The staff is amazing, friendly, accommodating and nothing short of spectacular. The room was clean and spacious enough for our family (2 adults / 1 infant). Great part of town with a number of options to eat all meals and direct access to the tube. Highly recommend staying here.

This is a nice hotel, fairly well located. We had a pleasant welcome from the staff, along with a small welcome drink whilst checking in, which was nice. Rooms are very small and compact, but has everything you need, as are the bathrooms. Everything was clean, and the beds fairly comfortable. Breakfast was fairly nice, with a reasonable menu. Service was a little slow, but still nice. If in the area, I would probably stay here again if the price was right.

We have just stayed for almost a week and aside from a few small things here and there, our stay was perfect. Rooms were a little small and therefore very warm (we kept getting our heating turned up while we were away) and there was considerable mould on one of the walls behind the curtains. On the other hand, having an inexpensive but very good quality restaurant less than a minute from your room was a great bonus and, although we never had any afternoon tea, we were given free chocolates and a cupcake left on our bed on Xmas! The staff were all extremely friendly and useful - especially when we asked 3 separate times with help printing off tickets. The speed at which our rooms were tidied was also very impressive. On the whole, a worthwhile choice for the amount we paid.

I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I am writing this review nearly a year after my visit, and have now forgotten the names of all the truly exceptional people who looked after my mother and I on our holiday. I feel quite badly about this, because once you visit you'll understand - the team at this hotel are truly exceptional in their hospitality. They are genuine and warm, and are committed to above and beyond service. It snowed while we visited, which was a bit unexpected but being Americans from Chicago and Boston we were prepared. What was even more unexpected was how the gentleman at the front desk tried very hard to keep the steps up the hotel swept (as they didn't have snow shovels) and diligently offered all guests umbrellas to protect themselves against the snow (as I imagine English wool coats get a bit uncomfortable in the snow). I really commend him for his efforts. Additionally, when we checked in we were a bit early both for our room and the afternoon tea reservation I had made. The young lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and polite (so very appreciated after a trans-Atlantic flight!) and was able to store our baggage and move our tea reservation forward. Further, their tea service was so delightful - their tea room is elegant but welcoming, and their front of house team is warm and polite, and of course, their tea and pastries was delicious! One thing I would point out to foreign visitors, is this hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of London. This can make parking a car a challenge, and the rooms are much smaller than in American hotels or in the suburbs. I will say, despite the room being small, it was well appointed, the bathroom was scrupulously clean and well maintained, and the building is beautiful. If you are in London and are expecting to spend most of your time in your room, you may want to consider calling ahead and booking a suite, but if you are visiting and expecting to spend most of your time in the city, the regular room is a delight. Thank you very much indeed, Park Grand. My mother and I had an excellent holiday! This hotel was memorable, even a year later!

A far cry from a 5-star hotel... for European standards, this property should be between 3 and 4 stars! Clean and quiet. However - Rooms were crammed (merely 15 sq m), with no place even to open a suitcase, nearly no space to hang clothes. No desk, no minibar, no place to sit... Breakfast buffet was excellent, both as quality of the food and service. No lobby, so there’s no place to hang around - straight from the lobby into the tiny room, and in bed... It makes me wonder how did management obtain a 5-star status?

We had a wonderful stay here, booking 2 rooms when visiting the Chelsea flower show. Staff were very attentive, with lots of small touches which made the stay even better. Fantastic customer service from the moment you walk in! Has to be the best thing about the hotel. Rooms are great and modern. Heated floors in the bathroom and a mobile phone in each room that you can take into the city with you. Free data and mins. Didn't need to use it but what a great idea. Krisna did a good job of saving the situation below - Free hot chocolate + cookies + apples in the morning - Free luggage storage Cons: - If you are on floor "0," you are sub-level partially - If you are on ground "8," you are sub-level - Although the hotel is a "4-star," it may have been 4-star service with the courteous staff, condition would need a slight upgrade to be 4-star - Rooms may smell musty - Emergency light to my room was on all night - did not allow me to sleep, but was rectified quickly (they offered to take me to the airport for compensation and were extremely diligent in following-up. thank you) - If you hit the "Zzz" light, it is bright red and will light up your whole room I'd be open to stay at the hotel again. My only tips to you are: - do not book a standard double unless you're ok with tight space - avoid floors "0" or "8"

I went there for afternoon tea today and it was absolutely delicious...each sandwich, scones mousse, cakes were made with precision! 😍 Not the regular bread but they had the carrot bread, dark brown bread with delicious fillings. Good selection of teas, ambience was lovely, staff were so helpful and kind! Because the weather was cold, the reception had warm towels to wipe you hands upon arrival, how cool is that 😄😎 and also for hygiene purposes. 7mins walk from the Lancaster gate underground station. The Wife and I booked an afternoon tea at this place to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary. From the moment we walked into the Hotel the staff were very accommodating and attended our every need. The food was amazing and so were the drinks (especially considering I asked them to make me a special cocktail for myself, the staff had venture out of the hotel to the nearest shop in order to get the ingredients). I would recommend this experience to anyone looking for a lovely afternoon (or perhaps more) and I would personally like to thank a particular member of staff (Joy) for going out of his way to make our experience more enjoyable.

The service was good, it would be exceptional but the staff do float around excessively which was a little annoying however some people love and appreciate the attentiveness. For me, my friend and we had to keep stopping our conversation to decline more prosecco or water. The interior is also nice but could do with a facelift. The afternoon tea was delicious. The directions could be better, you go to the hotel round the corner and its closed. You then head to the open one and your told to walk two minutes around the corner. Could be explained better over the phone and the correct branch postcode confirmed. The lovely Wowcher voucher mad up for all of it though given the discount.

The hotel staff are polite and responsive. Rooms are very clean. The location of the hotel is great is 5-7 minutes walk to Lancaster gate metro which is one stop form Marble Arch. However the rooms are extremely small. The hotel basement has a sewer smell myself and a few occupants had to be moved a different floor. Hotel team was apologetic and resolved the room swamp in a timely manner. Moved me while I was out left a note and fruits. But it's not a 4 star hotel in my opinion it's a 3 star.

The service at the hotel was excellent. When we arrived, we were given welcome drinks (juice) and then one of the staff spent considerable time going over the local sights we could visit. The breakfast was tasty, with lots of options. A basket of apples is by the door for guests to help themselves, too. There was a a welcome basket of fruit in our room, along with self-service tea,, coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies. There's also a mini bar and microwave oven. Each evening chocolates were left on our pillows. The staff always had a smile and genuinely wanted to make sure our stay was going well. When we left, one of the staff came out to the sidewalk to shake our hands and say goodbye. We felt like family.

I had a great experience at this hotel. It's just a short walk from Paddington station and its within walking distance from Hyde Park. The hotel is situated in a very nice part of London. The rooms are very nice, but a little small. What really made our stay here so great however, was the staff. This hotel has greet staff. They are always around if you need them and are very helpful. I could tell that the staff here wanted me to enjoy my stay. They bent over back to make sure our time in London was the absolute best it could be. I very much recommend this hotel.

The room was quite small, but to be expected in central London. It had everything we needed, including a microwave, although the mini fridge was a mini bar so we couldn't use it for storing leftovers. The shower was lovely, with two showerheads to choose from. The hotel is a short walk away from two tube stations, and had some good restaurants nearby. The area also feels very safe walking from the tube to the hotel. The breakfast was really good (I was fortunate to get the continental included); the continental included some delicious pastries, a meat and cheese tray, etc. I would stay here again!

In short, if you're traveling to London, this is a great place to stay. Rooms come with free breakfast (consisting of rolls, cheese, toast, and ham as well as some drinks). A bar is available in the back of the lobby. The rooms are clean and orderly and the bathrooms are compact yet very nice for those staying in London for a while. Housekeeping comes often (unless notified otherwise) and rooms have televisions with many channels available. The hotel itself is very close to Hyde Park, the perfect place to go for a walk and a nice restaurant right down the street, plus a number of other nearby utilities and dining establishments.

We stayed at the hotel over two nights from 2nd June 2017. The service was exceptional from the time of our arrival until we reluctantly left! Our room had been decorated to celebrate my birthday and a cake, wine and prosecco awaited our arrival. The room itself was compact but perfectly designed, it was immaculate and well equipped with a well stocked bar and lots of lovely extras including fress orchids and cold bottled water. Breakfast was a delight. Freshly cooked and perfectly presented. The hotel is in an excellent location, with transport links a stone's throw away. Convenient for travelling but there are lots of bars, cafes and restaurants close by. We will definitely visit again!!

I haven’t slept a single night since I got here. Worst, most inconsiderate neighbors you will ever encounter. Had to move rooms twice to even worse noise conditions. The walls are almost non-existent and pretty much useless. Banging doors, banging cabinets, suitcases swinging around, stomping. Kids yelling and running in corridors. You will hear it all. Worst part is, nice staff will can’t do anything about it for some reason. Checked out 5 days earlier than we were supposed to. Do not recommend.

The hotel sits in a convenient location near Hyde Park, about 8 mins from Paddington Station. Lots of places to eat nearby, also excellent breakfast places. We had the bigger "Club" room, which was well furnished and with good taste, but still tiny. Definitely not enough space to do yoga ;-) The room was at the back, but as this is an old house, still pretty loud, floorboards creaking and so on. Staff were charming and always friendly. Not a 5 star place, but clean, nice staff, good location, and pretty room. I would book there again.

We stayed at the Hyde Park Premier with a deal from Lastminute. We informed them before hand that this was our 25th Anniversary and they gave us a free upgrade of room to one of their suites. The room was clean and the bathroom was really clean. The reception staff were always polite. Breakfast was not bursting with options but you could have as much as you wanted and it included cereal, fruit, full cooked option and pastries. Overall a very good stay.

I ended up in this hotel because their sister hotel had a maintenance issue with the hotel. They looked after me though. I got a room upgrade and free breakfast that wasn't included in my rate. The staff were extremely courteous and they went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Although the room was in the basement it was beautifully finished and equipped. I'd award an extra star for the internet speed (25Mbps!!) which meant I could catch up on some TV at home in the US.
