Really enjoyed our visit here. Room was very pleasant and comfortable. Paid around £40 on our weekday trip and not disappointed. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately due to age of building, no ramp or lift, and during summer was a bit hot- but fans provided and fridge in room. Great location- Lancaster gate 5 min walk, and dirt cheap for Ubers to Euston. Defo stay here again. 😃

Nice little hotel in easy walking distance to Paddington train station. Chap on reception was very pleasant. Room was small, bit adequate for our weekend trip with an en suite bathroom with shower. It was clean with complimentary shower gel/shampoo/soaps. Also tea/ coffee making facilities. And a good hairdryer. The large portable fan in the room was very welcome on what was a hot weekend. Breakfast was plentiful (continental) with lots of choice. The only downside was being on the top floor and having to hike the stairs!

A great choice for stay. Great location with a great price. An excellent breakfast was included. They are well staffed with friendly faces eager to assist guests. They were very accommodating to our requests. The rooms are quiet, clean, and well decorated to match the Victorian/Edwardian architecture of the neighborhood. Conveniently located a few minutes walking distance from Paddington Station, historic ST Mary's hospital, many restaurants, and shopping, and entertainment. Perfect for business or leisure.

The friendly staff make up for rather small rooms (as are most 3-4 star hotel rooms in central London). Excellent location as the hotel is within walking distance of trains stations and bus stops, ethnic restaurants, Hyde Park and shopping stores. Although, the unavailability of an elevator makes everyone's lives a little difficult. Also, my bathroom (Room #10) did not have a lock on it, which would be a problem for other guests. A decent stay, nonetheless.

Small hotel, clean, friendly and comfortable but no breakfast at the moment. Lots of cafes, restaurants and pubs on doorstep. Well situated near Paddington tube and Paddington station, good bus routes and quite central.

At some level you get what you pay for, I slept well in a comfortable and clean room with lots of character. But hard to track down staff, and top floor with no lift, so I would worry about staying unless you feel strong enough to heft your own bags (which I do)

The best breakfast I've had in my trip through europe. It's a simple place, quite far from everything but close to the subway. The beds are the most comfortable I've come across in Europe (at this price) bathrooms are ok and the view is nothing outstanding.

Breakfast is included but wouldn't bothered, was cold and no one was around to heat anything or make toast. Was a shame as let it down the morning, would of preferred it not being included at all. Saying this, for convenience would stay again.

Actually the bathroom is small but you can not expect more considering the size of the building and the number of rooms per floor. The staff was very welcoming. A very good surprise!
