Budget hotels in London are rarely spacious, but this has to be one of the smallest rooms I’ve stayed in, especially considering the price. The bed itself was comfortable enough for a single person, but being up against the wall would make it less convenient for sharing. Everywhere was clean though and the air-conditioning was alright, plus there’s an attempt at ‘mood lighting’ options via a control panel at the door - I couldn’t work it out though! Bathroom had a shower with good enough power and hot water, and again everything was clean and felt new.
Reception staff were really friendly, seeming genuinely interested if the stay had been alright upon check out. There’s no bar in the hotel but you’re surrounded by other options, so it’s not surprising.
It’s an okay option in the area, but for the price the room did feel too cramped, and there isn’t much more offered than similar alternatives nearby, so I won’t dissuade from staying here, but equally I can’t overly recommend either.

Point A hotel has modern, bright and fresh looking rooms. I was in a twin with 2 single beds. The bathroom had a large walk in shower, there was plenty of room for all your shaving and make up equipment on the large shelf under the mirror.
Room was very clean and fresh smelling, no dirty flooring or stains to put you off. There is a safe in the room, large TV which you can connet to if you want to watch something on your phone/tablet.
1 double socket with 1 USB port to one side of the 2 beds was a bit disappointing as this could not be shared. No desk in the room which was inconvenience for me as I do a lot of work in my room but there was ample space in the lounge looking out towards the main street that easily made up for this. Drinks could be purchased in the lounge area and I found this was OK for what I needed to do.
24hr reception, key card required to enter building outside normal hours.
I would stay here again

For the price in London it's fantastic value. The staff are great and very accommodating.
Be warned, in both the basement and the first floor you can hear and feel the underground. If you're a light sleeper this is something to consider. I however am not, so for me it was great!

I enjoyed my stay here. Within walking distance of Paddington Station, even with suitcases. Also very close to Edgware Road tube for access to the city. The hotel was clean and had a fresh ‘new’ feel about it. The ‘pods’ are ideal for using as a base to explore. We didn’t use the restaurant but knew we could get tea and coffee there if we wanted because none are provided in the rooms - there’s also a Tesco express over the road.
One thing that took some getting used to, is that the building shakes every time a tube goes past-it passes directly below the building.

Good reviews:
1. Inexpensive stay
2. Very accessible to Paddington Train Station
3. Relatively safe neighborhood
4. Staff were accommodating and friendly
Unsatisfactory reviews:
1. The internet was down the entire 4 days of stay. No TV connection as well. You have to go to the lobby.
2. Train vibrates underground all the time

Good place to stay for an affordable night in London. Positive is the price, location and nice staff. Only disappointing part is the lack of tea/coffee facility in the room. Lovely staff can make you one downstairs, but it would be nice to be able to make a drink in the room.

This hotel was absolutely amazing! It is one of the best hotels we have visited in London. First of all the location was brilliant, directly opposite Superdrug and a Tesco so if you need any last minute essentials you do not need to go that far. Secondly, Edgware Road is literally a minute way which was easier for us as all the halal cafe and restaurants were around the corner. The tube station was also a minute away so we could go everywhere! The hotel itself had a beautiful modern and cosy decor which made the stay even more lovely. The staff were SUPER friendly and we also received an earlier check in as we requested at £15 only. As this was a last minute booking, we did get a room in the basement with no window however, this did not affect our stay at all. The room was lovely and there were some nice mood lights and a radiator/ fan available. We did hear the occasional tubes noises but this did not affect us. I would 1000% recommend this hotel and we will definitely be returning!

The best stay I have ever had in London. The staff were 100 x more friendly, attentive and helpful than any other hotel I've splashed the cash on in London. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We felt extremely safe and had a very good sleep every night of our 3 night stay. The location is perfect - out of the hustle and bustle of centre london, but very close to Edgware Road station and plenty to do in close proximity to the hotel if you fancy staying in. 9 out of 10 for cleanliness and the hotel rooms are very well configured with plenty of storage, modern lighting and big tv screen. More people need to stay in these hotels rather than wasting money on a big lavish experience if you're simply using a hotel to sleep, wash ans dress. We will definitely be back!

other than the rather lengthy registration, everything else about our stay here was great - the staff were very helpful, even getting me a makeshift ice pack when I bumped my head on a cupboard door in our room. the location is also very conveniently located close to many amenities, making it a great rest point for getting to and from different London attractions.

Really warm welcome from the staff who were helpful throught my stay. Just be aware the rooms are quite small and you can hear the rumbling of the trains through Paddington Station. If booking make sure you ask for a room with a window as the ones below ground apparently get a lot more train noise plus no natural light
C. C.
Very well looked after hotel, very clean rooms and helpful staff. The reason for the 3 stars is the noise from the windows if you have a street room so was asked to be moved then we had this really weird vibrating noise no idea what it was but kept us awake again
K. H.
Fantastic hotel parking is a bit of a pain but we managed to get spaces. Your get greeted at the door, The room was really good, very spacious, extra linen is there should you need it. You can buy breakfast for£ 9:00.

Absolutely perfect hotel for a break away, rooms had everything you need, perfect size everything is so compact. Made our little break lovely. Thank you to all the staff you were all super lovely and helpful ❤️

It is a really great hotel. It's close to Paddington Square. Their staff are also really helpful.
M. S.
Very clean and modern rooms, with good air-con, mood lighting and a comfortable bed. Room was a bit cramped, but great value for money given the location, have done and will happily stay at Point A hotels again.

They have to check my ID when I checked in, passport is not OK, must provide a credit or debit card that is available for online shopping to them. The staff took my card and checked if the card can work. I don't feel safe with that. It took a long time to check in, not the express one as they promoted.
The lift is not accessible to the room we stayed. We had a luggage and we had to carry it to climb the stairs
And the door was not sealed when we checked in. The toilet has brown dirt and we cleaned it ourselves.
There's no peepholes on the door.

Rooms were cozy and nice, great for the price in comparison to others nearby.
Only complaint is no kettle in the room.

I stayed here for two nights. I didn't have high expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The room was great, much nicer that I thought it would be and scrupulously clean. Nice powerful shower, great TV with the added bonus of being able to cast a device to it really easily (fab if you have a streaming service as an app) and the lighing worked well with a good combination of strong or soft lighting as well as a colour changing background if you wanted to chill out.
The only two things that could be improved for me where the lack of kettle in the room to make a drink and the bed was a tad firm for my taste. My friend who also stayed in another room found the bed ideal for her though.
There's a couple of great places to eat close by (it's all greek to me looks a bit less fancy but the food is great and Bizzaro Italian is fabulous)
S. W.
Great value for money, great location and best night sleep in years. Highly recommended 👌
J. R.
Nice value for money, ideal for one traveler. If you'll be staying in the basement room, be aware there is no window and underground trains can rattle the room.
All in all, good experience.

Literally able to walk out of Paddington Station, 200ft down the road and check in. No dragging a suitcase on the tube.
It's a completely basic hotel. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. The thing that's great about it is you can check in, leave your bag, and head out to enjoy London.
The hotel has a 24 hour café which I didn't use. Locally, you can walk to lovely cafés in Marylebone, Middle Eastern food on Edgeware Road, or walk up through Paddington Basin to Maida Vale to eat. Lots of good bars nearby.
Hyde Park is not far. I tend to walk everywhere if I can so my notion of 'walkable' includes longer distances - it took me an hour, at an amble to walk into Fitzrovia to meet a friend for supper, stopping in a few shops along the way. Museums and theatres would take a similar amount of time. Otherwise, there's two tube stations and a taxi rank, in spitting distance of the hotel.
With the window closed there's very little noise from the street. Tubes do run under the hotel but all I could hear from my third floor room was a very distant rumble which I barely registered, but, if you are the kind of person who is kept awake by the slightest noise, it's worth bearing in mind. It stops around 1 am - so, if you are going out in the evenings, you may not even be in bed when this is happening. The windows have amazing blackout curtains.
Towels and body wash which doubles as shampoo are provided. You need to bring toothpaste, flannels, toothbrush, and proper shampoo and conditioner if you so wish. There's a hair dryer in one of the drawers. No wardrobe, but lots of hooks and clothes hangers. There's a TV. No kettle, but you can get tea and coffee in the cafe downstairs 24/7. Lots of plugs, including one by the bed so you can charge your mobile and still see the time.
There's plenty of natural light to do your makeup.
Rooms are a little small - but perfectly adequate if you just want a clean, comfortable place to stay while you head out.
There's a safe by the bed so you can leave passport, jewellery safely while you go out.
Air con / heating. Only thing is the air con makes clicking noises which I found disconcerting coming out of the dark in a strange place.
Check out is by 11 - but I wanted to go to a museum before catching my train home, so the hotel have a service where you can store your case in reception even after check out. This costs £3 - much less than left luggage at Paddington.
All in all, great value for money.
S. T.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very good quality considering the location and price. Will be visiting again.

Lovely clean room just wished they had a kettle for hot drinks.

Lovely hotel. Clean, the staff very helpful.Nice coffee shop.

We were scheduled to check in at 3pm however arrived early, the staff were welcoming and accommodating and allowed us to check in early at no extra charge as the room was ready. Later on near bed time I needed an extra pillow as only one was provided, I must mention that Frankie at the front desk was so helpful and accommodated me by locating a pillow so I could have that comfortable nights rest. Very pleasant, charming young man and outgoing personality, he is definitely an asset to the team!! Thank you Frankie!!!!

it's a nice place to stay.
staff are also very helpful and nice.

One of the best hotels in this area, they provide free breakfast with the room which is rare in this area of London, they also provide a safe in rooms for storage of valuables, a great location just off The Edgware Rd near Paddington Station.
M. T.
Stayed last night with my mother and toddler, staff are incredibly polite, helpful and friendly, love how the hotel is secure no one can get in without a key, good place to stay for a short one to London close to all amenities ...
M. N.
We stayed there for 12 days and we really enjoyed, the room was small but perfect for us, no noise at all, very quiet. The cleanliness of the room and hotel was 👌
Also great service from Frankie at the reception and Gaby from housekeeping.
Thanks!!!
F. S.
Perfectly acceptable hotel, cheap and basic but has everything you need
L. C.
Good location, polite staff, coffee for £1.95 cant complain

Perfect location, just walking distance from Edgware Road. Lots of shops nearby aswell as the Tube station. Really clean rooms! Lots of new furniture and modern technology (love the mood lighting). …
J. G.
Convenient for the train station. Friendly staff. Very clean room. Chose the smaller rooms in the back as they are quieter than the front. Although it was small we managed fine. Beds were firm but I like that anyway. We arrived early but there was no problem leaving our bags until our check in time and when we checked out our bags were kept safe until we picked them up to travel home.

This place was so cool! The rooms are so tiny but super efficient and serve their purpose. Was a great area near the train and also near pubs and restaurants. The rooms were really neat and the cost was just so reasonable. The staff was super friendly as well. I would definitely stay here again
C. K.
Very good! Rooms are small but modern and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was hot and of decent pressure. The rooms only downside was the lack of kettle, but hot drinks are available to purchase from reception and hot water is free (I wanted to take and fill my own coffee cup). Staff are very welcoming and friendly, always saying hello and have a good day etc. Very good value for money for London - I would definitely use again.

Super comfortable budget hotel with great connectivity!
This hotel is very close from two main tube stations, Paddington and Edgware and has a lot of market place, restaurants etc in the vicinity.
The staff here is friendly and this hotel has a small coffee shop in the lobby.
The rooms are small but manageable. There's availability of fresh towels etc.
You can also just leave the luggage in left luggage in case you don't want to book a room.
A. J.
I liked everything: staff, location. I borrowed adapter for EU power plug free of charge. Rooms are small, but everything inside is of great quality: Brabanita trash bins, Villeroy and Bosch bathroom facilities, very good mattress, good pressure hot water. I was in winter and AC kept turning on every time I went inside the room, but no problem I was switching it off. Not a great sound-proof, I heard everything outside the door if somebody walked, but overall it was quiet, windows are sound proof. They don't serve breakfast but provide some discount in a cafe next door (which I didn't use). However they serve good coffee in big cups for only 1.95 pounds, tea for 1.75. Luggage storage after check-out is 3 pounds.

Good place for business meeting 🤩🤩🤩

My partner & I stayed at Point A for one night. I have never stayed in a Point A hotel before so wasn't sure what to expect but I wanted value for money and that's definitely what I got! I booked a room with no windows at £72 (which was pretty good for London and I had only booked about a week before!).
On arrival the reception was clean and bright and receptionist was friendly. She 'upgraded' me to a room with windows which in hindsight I'm not sure I would go for again - simply because a lot of noise came through the window during the night. Personally I am able to sleep through loud noises but my partner struggled to have much sleep at all. Clearly this had been an issue in the past as the room was supplied with one set of ear plugs. I'm unsure how much better a windowless room would have been for noise too as some noise also came through from other guests' rooms (nothing mega just people in the corridor or leaving/entering their own rooms..).
The room itself was made up of a double bed, TV and toilet/shower room. As it's London, these things do take up most the room but it was great for what we needed. The bed was comfortable, the TV worked fine and was good quality, the shower was a really good pressured shower and the air con actually worked well, which I don't normally see in hotels! Things I would have perhaps liked to see but weren't there would have been a full length mirror, and maybe tea/coffee making facilities in the room (or even knowing if the tap water is drinkable) - the rooms are probably too small to be able to provide these things however.
On check out I was again met with friendly reception staff and they were able to look after my bag for the day which I got complementary rather than having to pay the small charge (£3) which was nice.
Overall I think it is definitely a great place to stay for up to a couple of nights but for longer trips I think I would personally want more in the room.
Thank you!

I am super picky with where I like to stay when traveling and this hotel beat my expectations, especially for the price. Rooms are small yes but they are great for young couples who are here to visit London and see the sights. The bed is very comfy and the staff is AMAZING! This hotel is right in between 2 big underground stations (Paddington and Edgware Road) making it a 5 minute walk to either one. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.
N. M.
Very nice room, clean tidy and modern and welcoming staff. Amazing location 2 minutes from Paddington. I was welcomed by a front desk officer called Domitrious who gave me a lot of advice on how to enjoy the area

Friendly staff & great pricing, still enjoying my stay

Really nice, clean room. Nice friendly staff
C. D.
Affordable prices, clean rooms, convenient location to the train and the tube and an extremely friendly and attentive staff. The key reason I couldn't go to 5 stars is that our room was TINY! Having been to London several times and stayed both in and outside of the city, I know that if you want a good sized room with a great location you should be prepared to pay an outrageous nightly rate. That being said, this room was bordering on ridiculously small. I don't know the exact square footage, but I'll try to put it in perspective. There are no closets, no chairs and the only place to put your luggage is under the bed. If you want to open your suitcase, you'll be putting it on the bed to do so. The thing I had to keep in mind was that I wasn't in London to experience a great hotel room, I was here to see the town and just needed a clean, affordable place to sleep at the end of the day. For that, it fit the bill just fine. Plus, I really can't compliment the staff enough! Friendly, funny, helpful and knowledgeable. I've paid far more at other hotels and not received this level of service. I would probably stay here again; if I can get a slightly larger room.
S. C.
The hotel is nicely located just 10 minutes from Paddington station with a supermarket right across the street. Rooms are tiny, beds are ok but I wouldn't stay here if you have a bad back. The bathroom was nice and looked relatively new so worked accordingly. Only minor complaints are: trash bag didn't get replaced the trash only got taken out (we noticed because of our chewing gum which remained in the bag) and the shower didn't drain well. The internet at the hotel works well compared to other hotels I stayed at. All in all this hotel offers great value for price for a simple overnight stay.
N. S.
Excellent choice for the price paid. Very noisy if window to street.
Stuff - just perfect. Polite, professional, helpful etc.
Safety box in room - very nice surprise
Room is small but clean
Electric plugs - only UK. No EU plug even in bathroom.
Few minutes walk to underground station - very convenient.
Over the street Tesco shop. A minute walk M&S food store.
Soundproofing. Do not take room facing the street. Just cannot sleep(without earplugs) at night due to surrounding sounds, sirens etc.
Next time I will take room without the window or facing other side if available.
Also sounds from corridor are well heard through the door.
Surroundings was clear and felt quite safe.
I would recommend this hotel as an option to check for your LON stay
M. e.
It is very nice, cosy ,modern and comfortable hotel
Close to most attractions in London and easy accessible by public transport to most of them
It has a vey nice conditioned atmosphere and with smart system inside the room
Close to Edgware road where you can enjoy traditional arabic and turkish halal food , groceries and classic fragrances to the left side of Edgware road
Close to Edgware underground station where you can travel to most appealing London historical and modern attractions within few minutes walking or using metro ( travel card is recommended if you are planning to use public transport alot )
Don't forget to get you package/combination card for most lovely attractions in one ticket as sea life museum, London eye, madame Tussaud's etc and to hop on and off using big London tour bus !!! The nearest station to jump into the bus is marble arch 20 minutes walk from the hotel
Close to hyde park and marble arch 20 minutes light walk
Close to the Japanese parks 10 minutes walk
It just need to provide each room with kettle and fridge which left me unable to make tea or coffee or prepare my baby food during my stay in the hotel but the receptionist was really helpful who provided me with hit water from the main reception
I was just upset because of the loud noise from the nearby rooms with football supporters !!!

Nice little hotel, rooms was perhaps on the small side, with not much room to move, but we were only in the room to sleep and shower so it wasn't a big deal. The location was great, a couple of minutes walk from Paddington Railway Station and Edgware Road Underground stations. The staff were friendly, and the rooms clean. The beds were nice, but only one small pillow is provided, which some might fight difficult to sleep with. All in all though, a nice hotel.
D. J.
Point A Hotels are great when it come to cutting out unnecessary amenities for the price conscious budget traveler but retain the main things we all desire. 1) A great comfortable bed. 2) Excellent city center locations - right in the heart of the city 3)Clean rooms 4) and finally a brilliant shower.
Staff at the Point A Paddington were knowledgeable on the hotel and surrounding area and were happy to point out various things to enhance my stay. Thank you.
G. T.
Very convenient location but the washroom layout is a bit annoying. The bath towels over hang the toilet paper resulting in moist tp and rolls that keep falling in the floor whenever you move a towel. Also there's very little table/shelf space in the rooms so if you need to lay out a bunch of stuff is not very convenient.
J. B.
My review is based on my expectations. I wanted a budget hotel near a major Tube stop. This hotel was much better than what I had hoped for. I will definitely use this hotel for future trips to London.
First, I want to acknowledge Alex and Claudia. They were extremely helpful, very pleasant and seemed genuinely interested in making my stay an exceptional experience.
The pluses. The room had air conditioning. This was a pleasant surprise as I hadn't been thinking of that when I booked it in March. During my stay in June, the temperature was in the mid to upper 30's C. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the Paddington Tube stop. There were a lot of dining options nearby. The room was spacious. I had accidentally booked a room with 2 beds, while I was a solo traveler. This was a bargain. Multiple power outlets. . Because they are a budget hotel, they only had room service every 3 days. I try to stay “green” and use towels more than once. Often times, I will do what the hotel says to do, but end up having the towels replaced daily. ATM across the street. A market 3 blocks away, which was also relatively close to a different tube stop.
The negatives. There was only a small fold out table and night stands. While you could store your luggage under the beds, there was no real place to set souvenirs or other things that you might want to have out.
Neutral. There was no in hotel breakfast available. When I stayed, they had an arrangement with the place next door. It didn’t matter to me. There are a lot of pastry shops all over the place and I wasn’t looking for a sit down breakfast. I had read other reviews about noise from the trains. I was on the 4th floor and could sometimes hear rumblings. Didn’t bother me as I’m a heavy sleeper.
N. B.
For the price, we couldn't have asked for much more from Tune. The rooms were small but well designed, clean and modern. The location is convenient for a number of London attractions, and is well serviced by public transport. The staff were polite and professional. If you are seeking lodgings for a trip where you do not expect to spend long in your hotel room, you couldn't do much better than Tune Paddington. Our only complaint was the small bed, which was marginally too small for two average sized people - if you are above average in any dimension I expect you will have an uncomfortable sleep.
P. G.
Excellent Staff at reception. Vivi is exceptionally good in managing things. Rooms are tiny but have everything that you need. Loved the professional Hair dryer.
Only thing missing is a kettle, which we need to warm water to feed little baby. But it's available at reception.
No mineral water bottles, tea coffee making facilities.
Excellent location along the central line. Tubes are about 3 minutes walk. Hyde Park and Oxford street only 15 mins...
I. C.
Be advised you have to pay for just about anything 'extra' such as towels, TV, hairdryer, not a lot but its a surprise. There was no evidence of a kettle or coffee either.
Other than that the bed was comfortable the decor was fine.
Room seems bigger than it is mainly because there is no desk other than a tiny drop down shelf at the end of the bed, I think it's just big enough for a 15" laptop and you have to sit on the end of the bed to use it.
Excellent place for a one night so at the price, just budget up to about £15 a night for all the extras.
r. s.
very small but does what you need . very clean and friendly staff
D. J.
Great staff but avoid the breakfast it was cold
J. P.
Very very small double bed room.- shower /bathroom is hardly big enough to sit on the loo. Clean and warm but basic. Would stay again if no where else to stay but not first choice
N. M.
Extremely clean, and tidy. The noise from outside massively let's this place down. Staff were very polite and friendly. When I mentioned on check out about the noise they said they would have given me a different room if I had said. Very handy location for my work, may try again but not a main street room.
S. B.
Nice and very clean hotel at a central location with cosy rooms, highly recommended for a stay in London.
Do keep in mind a bit of annoyance due to the underground and the exhaust fan in the shower! You get used to it in a short time!
M. R.
It's a nice enough hotel for a night passing through. Be aware though. They have 2 types of double room - one type is literally a rabbit hutch in size and the second type is a decent sized double room. If you have more than one case be sure to ask for a large double when you make the booking!!! The small double is just that small !!!!!!
H. F.
First time staying in Tune, was ok. Easy to find. Price was alright. There was an option of paying £10 for early check-in, which was alright, splitting it between two. Staff was nice and helpful. Place looks ok. Nice and simple. Kind of modern look. We stayed in a room with no windows (to save money haha), was better than we expected. Room was really bright, simple, clean, nice. Read some reviews saying ts really tiny, but it was roughly the size of a travellodge/premier inn. Didn't really have anything to complain about room. But at night time you can hear the train a bit, but it didnt bother us much. We heard someone snoring from next door as well which was kinda funny. So if you like to sleep with no noise at all then probably this hotel isn't right for you.
Another bad thing about no windows room is its in the basement so signal is really bad. You either get one or two bars or no signal at all. Went to complain about it cause I know some hotels no window rooms isnt in the basement. But they only had another basement room or we need to pay extra for another room. Which was annoying, cause if we only picked this hotel cause it was cheap. If we pay extra we might as well stay in another hotel.
Theres like lots of food places a couple mins walking distance away so good for breakfast. Theres also a 24hours tesco right across the road which was good. Hotel serve like tea and coffee in the reception which was quite cheap considering its selling in a hotel.
Overall experience was good. Not sure if I'll back, just probably depend on price.
F. C.
Easy check in. Everywhere clean and fresh. However room very small for two people with luggage. The bed up against a wall and looked slightly more narrow than a basic double bed. Nice decor, bathroom and linen but lack of space made things difficult. Would be ok for a single person.
A.
We had a room without a window. It was OK. The bed was on the small side for 2 persons but the location of the hotel was perfect for a city trip. Lots of stores and restaurants in the same street and public transport stops.
E. R.
Good, well maintained place, clean, with a friendly people at reception. We arrived 2 hours before the official Check in time after overnight flight from Canada and they checked us in immediately Due to the size of the rooms not suitable for the longer stay, but we do recomend it for the shorter visit to London.
H. C.
I had an excellent stay at the hotel, used their other branch at kings cross previously. We arrived early from our overnight train from Scotland and wanted to see if they could check us in a little earlier. We were very grateful that was made possible with the help of their manager (Marius ?). We also left our luggage with them before the trip which the rate offer was much better than the usual left luggage service. From now on, I just can't see the point using other hotel in London. Thanks guys, you're truly brilliant!
C. W.
Easy check-in with polite, helpful staff. Our room was in the basement, so had no window (at our request, as it was cheaper than a window room). It was small, but clean and comfortable, and a great price for central London. Would definitely recommend and use again!
F. S.
Incredible location, overall clean and nice, but definitely comes across as a budget hotel. Lots of little annoyances (you need to put your room key in the wall to get electricity? only one device per internet code? etc.). Try to book in advance to avoid price gouging! Comfortable enough, overall.
D. B.
Great stay! Very nice neighbourhood with great buss and tube connection. There is a 24/7 tesco across the street. Very nice staff. The room was fresh and you are able to control your own AC.
C. L.
Lovely but basic hotel in the heart of London. The location is great (within short walking distance to Paddington station and the tube) and the staff was super friendly. Only the rooms and (particularly) the beds were small for two people.
R. K. M.
Situated about 10 min walk from Paddington station or about 8 min walk from Edgware Road underground station (circle or hammersmith & city lines), this hotel provides superb accomodation facilities at budget price. Staff here is very friendly and helpful. Took the non window basement room, needed to lug the luggage down the stairs at certain side of the rooms (the staff helped us with the bags). Room is quite small, but provide decent comfort. Just enough to stretch your tired legs after the long day in London. Toilet is a bit narrow, but I would say just enough. A bit hard to open your bigger luggage bags as the space is restricted. Overall a great experience staying here.
D. T.
Nice visit. Room was small but that's what you pay for. Very clean and comfortable bed. Staff very friendly, location was excellent. WiFi didn't work, however, but not a big issue.
g. k.
Small rooms but perfect for a stop off.clean, modern and a decent shower
P. T.
For the money you pay it is very much a budget hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful and I have always found the rooms to be spotless. Great for an overnight stay before heading to the airport, but wouldn't use it for a longer stay.

Point A is perfect if all you really need is a bed in a clean room for a short stay or for something close to Paddington for an early flight the next day. The staff however were extremely friendly and helpful and although the rooms are quite cramped, it was a decent enough bed and it did the job well enough. Recommended for anyone who wants a hostel type room with nicer sheets, considering you can't find much else for cheaper in London on short notice.
J. C.
Good service, room was very clean. The only issue is the mattress is very thin and you can feel the springs on your back. But otherwise it's a great hotel located in the heart of Paddington.
L. H. K.
As soon as I arrived, I was welcomed by their kind staff. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but you get a discount in the restaurant next to the hotel, where they offer english and continental breakfast. There is also a store across the road which is opened 24/7. I enjoyed my stay here and I highly recommend it.
T. S.
Simple and basic room, really nice bathroom. I missed a kettle.. The staff were ok, but unfortunately some of them were not service minded at all...
Great location! We used the tube and the buss without problems.
I would go back here and stay att Tune.
A. M.
Would Love to visit again. The room we were given with was a bit small. The bed was comfortable. Private bathroom was awesome. But one thing is that you will not find coffee at hotel. You need to go out for coffee.
A. C.
Location is good, it is in-between two train stations. There's a twenty four hours supermarket opposite. Down side of the hotel is that there's not even a fridge. The building look like it used to be an old folks home cause the toilet has a shower chair for the disabled.
V. C.
Close to underground station, restaurants/fast food places. There is a Tesco just across the street. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but small, even though I got the big room. Enough for 1 person.
K. W.
Fantastic staff & customer service. Location is perfect and only a 10-15 minute walk from Oxford Street & Hyde Park. There is a Tesco supermarket across the road and cafe next door, cash points easily accessible. The rooms are basic but serve their purpose if you are on a budget, clean & comfortable. Would stay here again definitely.
S. F.
Clean room, friendly staff. Got everything we needed. Walking distance from tube station, tube ride to different sights took appr. 15-30 min but tube system is easy to use (not cheap tho). Lots of places to have breakfast nearby.
B. T.
Hotel is strategically located on Praed Street between Paddington Station and Edgeware Road Station. Hotel facility is basic - a comfy bed, air conditioner (heater), tv, 3 in 1 washing liquid, hairdryer and toilet paper. Room is narrow and can be a problem for travellers with luggage bags measuring 28 inches or more.
Checking in and out was a breeze and staff is friendly. As there is no coffee making facility in the room, you may get hot water from the reception.
Right across the street is Tesco Express and next to the hotel is a nice cafe that serves good size breakfast and nice coffee.
With luggage, it was a mere 8 minute walk to and from Paddington Station where you could hop on the Heathrow Express. Praed Street has a lot of restaurants and cafes and you can catch a bus to anywhere in town from the bus stops.
M. S.
Clean and efficient. No fuss. Great breakfast deal with Cafe next door. Great Staff which are attentive and helpful. Good location. It is only rated two stars since it offers the bare essentials but I chose to double them!
K. R.
Rooms are really small and there's basicly no services in the hotel. However everything there is works really well (wifi, showers etc) and the rooms are in good shape. Service is friendly. Absolutely better than official rating of hotel! If you dont need any fancy services this place can surely be recommended.
J. H.
Twin sharing rooms aren't very two-person friendly. Only one bed has wall plugs and there is only enough hooks in the toilet for one person. But overall, a decent hotel for a two-star hotel.
A.
Nice but cramped. Not suited for 2 adults in one room.
B. o.
I stayed here for 5 nights, the location is great, staff was great, only thing i would have liked is more pillows. But that just a small minus. Everything was great, will definitely use this hotel again.
Z. I.
Price is good compared to other hotels at same location and room standards... however the room is very small and furniture is to the minimum. In fact it is all about location and standard quality.
S. L.
Nice clean room. Got what I see on their website. Yes.. rooms are small but that is why the price is good. Perfect location. If you want a decent price stay and cleanness is important. . This is a place u want
A. H.
Love this place. Take the express train right there from Heathrow, pay 15 quid extra to check in early, sleep off your jet lag in a good bed in a clean room. The staff is friendly and helpful. Simple, inexpensive (for London), no frills but they get the basics just right.
L. D.
Pretty decent for the price. Nice and clean. Good shower. No food or bar but if it’s just a room you need then would recommend.
A. S. a. S.
Friendly staff, very small rooms, but very modern, clean and bright, with a nice bathroom and comfy bed. It was cosy and comfortable. Great location and good value for money. Would stay there again.
K.
Checking in was slow which nearly made us late for our event so it was a bad start. The room was fairly nice - small but this is to be expected in London. Shower was very good with nice water pressure and location was great with Pokémon go hotspot right below the hotel meaning we caught lots of Pokemon right from the room.
L. E.
Well priced, clean, no frills rooms and friendly and helpful front desk. It would be great if they included a small fridge but you can’t expect luxury at such a low price.
J. C.
Basic and small accommodation, but that's what you get for a reasonable price in London. Everything is an extra cost (WiFi, TV), but for somewhere just to get you head down, it's ideal. Most importantly, it was very clean and well maintained.
M. S.
Good hotel at under £100 in central london. In terms of placement of what to expect, it's a level below Travelodge.
Pros
Clean
A/C in the room
Good location
Logical layout
Safe in room
Good staff
Cons
Bed is HARD
Soundproofing doesn't exist
C. F.
Great hotel, central and clean.
M. K.
The decor of the lobby stands out even when just walking by! That's the main reason I walked in first. The reception staff is very friendly, polite and professional.
There are basement rooms without windows or rooms in higher floors with or without windows. None of them feel congested and there is air conditioning (can also be used for heating) provided. The internet is good and I have had no problems with casual browsing or streaming YouTube videos.
All the amenities have to be paid for though, for example toiletries, use of hairdyer, use of the television, for WiFi etc. I know this might seem like something weird, but if you don't need any of these facilities you do not pay for it and the price, remains quite competitive, considering the quality of stay! I can vouch for this after having stayed in other hotels run in 'Victorian buildings' close by, where the rooms are usually box rooms and toilets are so small you end up bumping into the walls or fixtures and to get to these rooms, you have to walk up 3 to 5 flights of narrow stairs!!
As this review is not being written to put down any other businesses around, but to just give you an idea of what to expect at this hotel as when compared to others located in the same vicinity, I'll stop the comparisons there.
There is no restaurant at this hotel, but there is a coffee machine and also some snacks available.
There is a Tesco located right opposite the hotel, which is very convenient for shopping. There are also a lot restaurants on the same street or on Edgware Road.
All in all, I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel!
N. K.
The location is ok and friendly service.
Bad sound isolation + thin doors, you hear everything & everyone talking and knocking in the corridors - cannot really relax.
Extremely small room, if you have big suitcases, no space to place and open them.
t. F.
For a short stay in London best place to say on a budget. I would give a 5 star's but the room just needed to be bit bigger for two people. But the staff were friendly and I would book in again if I was by myself 😉
D. T.
This is a BUDGET HOTEL, which they tell you as soon as you check in, but not especially when you make reservations. Just be aware. Budget means sparse. The very basics. NO BREAKFAST. Close to Edgeware station, lots of restaurants, M & S, Preta Manger, so good location for a weekend in London. The help desk young people are VERY nice & friendly.
S. M.
Great place to stay, rooms are on the small side but just what's needed when you dont plan to spend much time in them, hotel was very clean, rooms were well kept and clean, bed was comfy had to ask for more pillows which wasnt a problem, around a 10 minute walk to Paddington station, a 20 minute walk to Oxford street, 10 minute taxi ride to madam tussauds all round excellent location to see all the sights of London, the hotel is good value for money considering it's London. Right opposite is a Tesco Express to pick up anything you need. Would recommend this hotel.
G. T.
Clean and comfortable enough, cleaning only happens every three days. Good deal on with buy a mug and you get free hot drinks for the length of your stay, good for us as we are here mon - fri. Great to have free wifi, and really good connection.
M. R.
Basic hotel but clean and tidy with helpful staff. Ideally situated; close to shops, cafes, train and tube station. Fantastic value for the cost. Will definitely stay again the next time I'm in London.
E. T.
The room was really nice, friendly and professional staff, good location! :)
m. r.
Everything it was promised to be. Clean, convenient, secure, close to the rail, with a great gym a few blocks away. Not the Ritz but not charging to be. A good stay.
G. D.
Really good price for this area of London, used a few times for business and although the rooms are small, they are good for London and offer everything required. Some facilities cost extra but well explained on the site and still worth it when having all the extras.
g. g.
Great stay! The hotel has a good location near Paddigton Train station, tube station. Room was comfortable and clean, quiet, and shower with good hot water. Excelent free wifi. The staff ( Valeria and Tommy) were nice and helpfull.
J. W.
Very basic rooms. Quite small. But does have air con and a nice shower. Perfect if you are in the area and just need an overnight place to stay
L. S.
Mixed feelings about this place.
Location is really good, service was good, the room amenities are really nice,...
BUT there room was super tiny, had no window and was not cheap. :/
C. L.
Easy access to good tube lines, rail via Paddington, and restaurants at a great price. Booked through travelocity and had all the upgrades included, so it was like a normal hotel. Could barely hear the tube trains go by from the 4th floor. There's a slight discount for breakfast at a cafe next door, but Tesco is right across the street so inexpensive food was easily accessible. West of the hotel has a bunch of great restaurants, and eastward had a section of great Halal places. Overall very great deal for a nice place to rest and recover after sightseeing all day.
燃.
Clean, good location, friendly staff and the price is right. The room is small though but adequate for a good night sleep. Highly recommend.
K. E.
Clean, tidy, modern and basic. Friendly staff although had no real need to talk to anyone. Great for an overnight stay in a budget. Just expect comfortable not luxury.
s. m.
Was okay room small, clean but was there 5 days we didn’t pay so couldn’t complain but don’t change bed covers wipe anything Down, clan floors they just empty bin, staff seem friendly, good location
D. S.
Friendly, helpful staff. Pleasant though tight rooms, but we were only using it as a base and to sleep. Convenient to two Tube stations and stores and restaurants nearby.
G. O.
The good way to stay in London. Our experience at Point A was very good. For acessible price, we have an amazing time in London, with good rooms, nice people, good service, estrategic localization, and all the good adjectives you can attribute to a trip with you family. No regrets, only smiles.
K. B.
Really great hotel for the price with a very clean and fresh room and nice shower in the morning. Plenty of local places to eat to make up for a lack of restaurant.
T. N.
Great price and extremely convenient location. Rooms are small, but very clean. Some noises from the tubes were heard in underground rooms, but not too loud.
M. T.
Decent, rooms are clean and tidy. But all extra services ( even tv) are extra paid. Localization is prety nice. On down sides internet is paid and slow (+problematic ex. On laptop some pages just wont load ( you have to switch to Internet Explorer)).
R. C.
The room is a little compact however it is nicely furnished and very clean. It's been a very enjoyable stay. Note they have rebranded to Point A
S. L.
My room was very small but the hotel is very clean, staff were very friendly and the location is fantastic. Best price for all hotels in central London.
J. H.
Really great hotel in a great location. The room was a bit small, but impeccably clean and modern. The bathroom was lovely, and the shower was very good.
r. p.
stayed here mon-wed jan 5th to 7th.nicely decorated and very clean room, very clean throughout hotel, warm room and bed very comfy, very handy for all shops, restaurants fish and chips, mcdonalds, burger king and more, even a booking office for the shows. paddington tube station in the same street also a tesco. staff, helpful and pleasant. will definitely stay there again.
P. G.
Clean, quiet. Sadly no bar
J. C.
Well place, well priced, & friendly staff. The rooms are tiny though, but fine if you only want somewhere to sleep.
A. B.
Was a bit worried when I read so many bad reviews about the hotels in London. Those that were nice were extremely expensive, and those that were affordable, seemed really bad. Stayed two nights at the Tune Paddington. Can't really compare it to much else in London, but I can say that the rooms were very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms are very small compared to what you might experience in hotels in other parts of the world, but that appears to be "normal" in London. Didn't interact much with the staff, so can't really comment on their service. There are no restaurants in the hotel, but there are an abundance of eating places along Praed Street and Edgeware Road and most of them are Halal for Muslims. It was just about 5 mins walk to Paddington Station, so it was perfect for those who have to travel around by train/tube. There was also a cellular shop just a few buildings down where we were able to get a UK sim card as well as adapters for the electrical outlets. There's also a Tesco just across the road. Will definitely consider staying there again.
E. S.
Great hotel real value for money the only clean modern room with great wifi in the entire paddington neighbourhood. The front desk staff led by Mariam and Allessia really professional. The only place to stay for business travel into London
K. V.
Great customer service! Rooms are a bit small but comfortable and we loved the options of adding amenities that we actually use and leaving off the ones we don't!
j. l.
Great clean economy hotel. Small rooms. Pay for all extras including wifi, towels, extra room cleaning etc. Look out for the noise from the tube below the hotel.
S. D.
Great hotel. Has a lot of eateries around it including a quick mart. The hop on hop off bus stop is right opposite to it. The service at this hotel was fantastic.
J. K.
A place to sleep ... that’s it. Rooms are very small with few amenities. No in room coffee pots and no breakfast, although the small bakery-coffee shop next door is quite good.
F. M.
It's a budget hotel, but very cozy and the service team is always very friendly and helpful. And: It is very centrally located with good public transport connections nearby.
D. C.
Cheap and cheerful overnight option. Rooms too small to stay long. But better than many of the heaps of cheap hotels near Paddington station.
B. A. H.
Stayed on the basement level. Clean tidy room. Staff friendly and everything went well. Would recommend if looking for cheap accommodation.
E.
We were to stay at this hotel for a weekend but unfortunately my wife had a car accident, and they were kind enought to refund the money even though it was non-refundable. We are certainly staying with them when she recovers and we reorganise our trip to London.
S. Š.
The room is clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is pretty close to Oxford street, on walking distance with walking time approximately 10 minutes.
J. W.
Great location, nice hotel with clean, small room. The only thing is the door and wall is too thin, so can be a bit noisy sometimes.
E. C.
Interesting concept. You need to pay for any item, such as hair dryer 2 3 gbp per day, safety boz another etc. As i heard next year they will start to charge checkin 3 gbp, saying good morning 1 gbp (check-up out free for a couple year more)
m. y.
Good location and value for money.
No kettle and refrigerator, it costs money to save the luggage. Room is a bit small
Great staff
G. G.
Friendly check-in. Clean and tidy well equipped room with Aircon , no breakfast but they do have a deal with next door for 15% off food and drink bill.
A. D. T.
Very friendly staff. Nice, clean rooms. You can hear the train go by every few minutes but you get used to it pretty quick.
C. F.
An alright hotel, be prepared for the close quarters. Good if you want a place to shower and sleep and do nothing really else. Praed St had police and ambulances on it all night, very loud and annoying. It's down the street from a hospital so what can you do?
V. L.
Great for a one night stay, but wouldn't start longer due to the size of the rooms. Also our bathroom fan sounded like a chop saw.
S. N.
Small room without a window but clean and comfortable. Good shower, shower gel provided and reliable WiFi. A good budget stay.
C.
Cheap and cheerful... I do think paying for your towel is a little strange! It's one of the things you absolutely expect to be present in a hotel by default. Very odd.
J. M.
Nice room, but pretty small. There was no window but it was very clean.
Nice journey and near of everything. Near from a 24/7 bus line.
N. P.
It's very convenient! The room provides what I just need and easy access to other places. Strongly recommended for people who need efficient room and service.
R. D.
Basic, but very clean at a very reasonable price. Just be aware to get a room on the 2nd floor or above otherwise you risk hearing the trains on the underground.
T. P. C.
The location of the hotel is good. It's near bakerloo, circle and Hammersmith line. Abut 4 stops way for Oxford Street shopping district. There is a 24 hours tesco opposite the hotel. It's 6 mins walk to Paddington Heathrow express
D. H.
Cheap and cheerful. excellent location, very clean rooms, good for a longer term base for exploring London. Customer service with a smile.
C. Z.
The location is very nice. It is very close to many restaurants, a Tesco supermarket and the tube station. The bedroom and all the facilities are very clean and new. The satff is very helpfull and it has a great wifi signal.
J. M.
Good location, close to Paddington Station and Hyde Park. Zone 1 for a great deal. Just be careful to book a window bedroom instead of a non window bedroom.
N. M.
Room was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, situated close to many amenities - only downside is that room and bathroom were not spacious
H. A.
Lovely and kindly staff, IRIS, CLAUDIA and CHIARA.. The hotel is comfortable and clean, the location is good, near to station, coffee shop, Tesco market, etc ..
J. T.
Excellent room for disabled.
But they do not clean room, bathroom or make the bed daily. VERY STRANGE!
C. P.
Small but clean and modern rooms. Super friendly staff and great location.
D. G.
Good hotel in a useful location. Rooms are very small and could do with better pillows but overall very good
m. h.
Little noisy from tube but used to it. Staff polite. Bed a bit hard for me. Clean room fair size.
w. s.
Nice, clean accommodation in a convenient location for a very decent price. Good for short stay or a business trip.
D. S.
Great hotel, very clean, staff very friendly and only a 5 minute walk from Paddington tube station. Perfect for a stay in London.
K.
It was lovely they moved my reservation to kkngs Cross free of charge and upgraded me for the inconvenience
M. E.
Point A .. I've stayed in a few and you really can't go wrong, functional, comfortable and perfectly located for a city break .. an unexpected added bonus with Merchant Square literally on your doorstep for food and drink
P. P.
Great budget hotel with friendly staff. Food and grocery very close and convenient. Near to tube entrance on the circle line.
H. D.
the "to go" place everytime in London. it is near to a convenience shop (Tesco Express, 24 hours), two Tube stations (Edgware Road/Paddington), plenty of eateries and walking distance to Marble Arch and Hyde Park
G. J.
I use Tune quite alit. It's always clean and nice. Small rooms with no extras but you get what you pay for. I love it.
G. H.
Rooms pretty small, but everything you need, clean, well run, honestly priced, well situated.
J. F.
Great location near metro Station, the internet is fast. However, the noise and vibration from metro trains are constant and noticeable even on the first floor.
B. W.
Nice room, great staff. Would have liked a kettle in my room, but all fine apart from that.
J. P.
Compact rooms, could do with a kettle in the room but there are facilities to do this in reception. Staff friendly and knowledgeable.
S. R.
Rooms are so clean !!!!!! Lovely staff too
S. K.
Very fresh rooms even though they are tiny. The only negative thing about the hotel is that you can hear the Underground when the trains go by.
C. M.
Nice clean room and good location within easy reach to tube. Room was very small but can't complain
M. A. (.
Location is great, rooms are clean, and staff are friendly. The only thing is the rooms are a bit small.
H. T.
My best place Abd team in London
M. O.
Good hotel, comfortable and well kitted out rooms for the money you pay
D. K.
Nice staff and clean room. But had some of my stuff throw away by the cleaners that's the only downfall.
C. G.
Travelled here for work. Very basic. No breakfast included have to go next door. But get what you pay for.
P. R.
Good rooms for good prices...
The concept is a basic price with add-ons for e.g. Wi-Fi, Hairdryer,...etc.
Quite clean...
L. Y.
Clean rooms but small. No toiletries either. Front desk is very nice though.
P.
Great experience, great, friendly a d approachable staff. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms.

Nice clean budget hotel close to the train station and a couple of Tube stops.... Not a bad walk from the top of Oxford Street either.
N. A.
Nice hotel for business trip or shopping trip. Is not comfortable for families because rooms space not enough

(Translated) A small and beautiful hotel, quite comfortable, with the necessary needs for a short stay (for example, 3 days) the price is suitable, good location near Edgour Road, the staff are very nice and their treatment is classy, there is no phone service in the rooms, no transfer of bags, and room cleaning on request

(Translated) Hotel room is very small. But quite clean and modern. Unfortunately, the rooms are not cleaned as you would expect every day. Only the garbage would be emptied. The subway is also clearly heard, but was not disturbing for me. Bed was innerspring but that was enough for a short break.

(Translated) Nice staff
Free WiFi (working well)
We had booked a room without a window. There was an air conditioning in the room. You could adjust this between 18 degrees and 22 degrees. The room was clean and neat. Every day the bins were emptied and we got new towels.
The employee told us that by showing the room passes we could have breakfast at the neighbors at a discount.
The hotel has a good location. The bus stop is close by and just a few minutes walk you have an underground.

Aardig personeel
Gratis wifi (goed werkend)

(Translated) The hotel was really nice. The rooms were clean and the staff at the front desk were very friendly, we could even check in for free a few hours earlier because the room was ready. We were up there and heard the subway easily but did not feel disturbing. I think further down, especially with the cheaper rooms in the basement, you will hear the subway very loud and feel. If you have a deep sleep - ok, otherwise I would recommend the rooms with a view, as they are higher up.
(Original)

(Translated) The hotel is excellent for 600 riyals per day. The room is clean, I will not comment on the small size of the room because it is the most in London. But I honor you, the bathroom is clean, but it is not required. The hotel is well located, approximately 3 minutes walk from Edgware Road and approx 15 minutes walk to Oxford Street.
In front of the hotel is an excellent supermarket. Close to you, coffee shops and others.

(Translated) Good value for money. Some rooms are very small but others are fine. They do not have only hangers. We stayed 4 nights and we would have come well more room for clothes but everything else fine. It is very new, clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff, good cooling. Perfect situation for what we wanted to do. It is close to restaurants and with a supermarket 24 hours at the door.I recommend it.

Buena relación calidad precio. Algunas habitaciones son muy pequeñas pero otras están bien. No tienen armario sólo unas perchas.

(Translated) They present themselves as disabled-accessible hotel. The bathroom is full of handles but the bed is totally inaccessible: high and totally devoid of handles or grips of any kind. The staff did not provide any evidence collaboratively.

(Translated) The hotel is really good. The reception is friendly and they have people who speak different languages. The bed was very good, very comfortable, the bathroom was small but sufficient, the small problem I had was that the door was made of glass, and the sound and light ended in the room.
I was in the basement, as I chose windowless the room, and there was a slight smell of pipes upon entering the room, although it was leaving early. Another detail is that you could hear the subway passing, although it was not annoying, it sounded lazy.
(Original)

(Translated) Very convenient location because close to Paddington station. The room was small but nothing was missing. The rooms are not redone daily. If you want a change of towels you must ask at the reception. Very good quality / price. Recommended (if you are willing to accept the limitations described above).

(Translated) Great location near day metro stations. Simple room with no fridge, but well worth it.
Attentive staff, mainly the Portuguese attendant Ben facilitating the life of Brazilian guests.
Hot water at ease to relaxer tea that can be bought at the 24 hour market located in front of the hotel.
