Pros:
•Very quiet
• Clean & Sanitized - liked the added little sanitized seal on the door
• Friendly staff
• Room is super dark for sleeping, also like the added mood lights
• Best pillows I've seen at a budget hotel, they're usually super worn & flat these are wonderful & fluffy
Cons:
• VERY uncomfortable bed
•Small rooms BUT they do the job if you're only using the room to sleep, otherwise wouldn't spend time in it otherwise.. I felt like I was sleeping in an airplane. They even had little tables that folded down from the wall.. very entertaining

Very modern looking little hotel with friendly staff. The room we got was not too big but it had all we needed and just enough space for everything. We were only sleeping there and the beds were comfortable. It's in a good location. You can easily get to the centre through the Liverpool Street station which is about a 5-6 minutes walk away from the hotel. For the price it's definitely worth it

Myself and a few friends stayed here and the rooms were spotless and comfortable and all the staff were amazing! In particular Kaydia, Gabriela, Sofia and Tirath, they were absolute superstars with amazing customer service skills! Thank you so much for looking after all of us, we will definitely stay again!

Clean, functional, no fuss, no frills, good value for money - perfect for my daughter and me to stay over for a night to go to a nearby exhibition first thing in the morning. The beds were comfortable and the location was quiet; just what sounded like a hen party got a bit rowdy in the room next door! 😉

The Point A Hotel is only fifteen minutes walk away from Liverpool Street Station in the lively area of Shoreditch, with great bars and pubs just minutes away. This hotel looks fairly new to me, modern style rooms, very clean economically sized rooms, but if you're there to make the most of your visit, this is a great place to stay with reasonable prices. 👍🏻

From the beginning until the end the stay was great. I started by picking the wrong room ( no window ) and the lovely staff sorted me a different one straight away, even though it was my own fault. Reception staff were friendly, welcoming and kind, accommodating my every request. Especially Petrina who made this stay awesome - I had rather stressful week and her assistance and friendliness definitely had a positive impact on my restful stay.

Fantastic value for money hotel in a great location. Rooms are clean, modern and the mood lighting is a real treat. Perfect location for a London adventure and the staff are exceptional and very professional. Loved every minute of my stay here.

We stayed in the Point A Hotel in Shoreditch for a week in September 21 we were very pleasantly surprised. The Hotel is in an amazing location near everything Shoreditch has to offer, the hotel its self was gorgeous, small but everything was to a very high standard. The breakfast was really lovely and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Will definitely be back again in the future, the concept of the Point A Hotel really works!!!

Ok but would not stay here again. The room was basic but for the price had all you needed, it was very clean. However we were woken by the carbon monoxide alarm in the middle of the night - it went on and on until we opened the window (which you could only open a crack), we spent the rest of the night worrying and we reported it to the staff. When i mentioned it, they dismissed it as being triggered by the AC, telling us that we should not be leaving the AC on at night - with no ventilation or very little there isn’t much choice as the room gets hot! If that is the case then they should advise it, we were frightened out of our skin and they did not even say they would check it. I would not come here again just for that which is a shame as it was ok other than that for the price - i would not feel safe staying here next time. Security was great on the door overnight, bar staff were friendly and helpful, shame very much about the rude awakening and no sleep!
P. S.
Excellent experience. Clean rooms. Superb simple but delicious stuff for breakfast. Everyone is very pleasant and welcoming. Would stay again :)

Really great place to stay. Rooms were clean, well equipped, air conditioning, complete with mood lighting and very comfortable. Friendly helpful team too.

Noise from the street reaching the 5th floor. Incredibly tiny cramped rooms and VERY HARD pillows. NO amenities at all. Have to go to their coffee shop for hot water. Only upside is that staff are helpful and friendly . I won't be staying here again
J.
Really tidy place . Great location . Clean . Looks new . No complaints and we booked early and got really cheap twin room
D. K.
Nice clean rooms, great service and amazing staff. Eugene is a legend: Eugene for president!
K. T.
Everything you need good location rooms are small but it has everything for a stay in London. Staff friendly & cater to your needs
T. S.
It’s only a 3 star hotel which at first made me skeptical but I’m glad I tried it out because I love this place! I like the fact that you can change the room colour, using the dial. The staff are always friendly. They even have a little shop downstairs if you need anything quickly like a drink or a snack. Decent location, decent price, can’t complain really.
J. W.
Absolute gem of a hotel, the pod Hotel style is brilliant for quick overnight stays or longer stays encouraging you to stay out and explore. Room was clean and well equipped. Only had a slight issue with the TV but that was only when using YouTube for a prolonged period.
L. O.
Visited a couple of times - very glad I've found my go to place to stay when visiting London for work. Super reasonable price for a great quality room. Usually budget London rooms are pricey and yet end literally tiny dirty cupboards. However the double room here has a big comfy bed, very clean with everything you need such as hairdryer, WiFi, TV and a private clean en-suite. No fuss check-in and out process with very friendly staff. Overall it's a great location being near to Old Street station with plenty of pubs around too. Highly recommend!
S. P.
Long way from Liverpool Street station, even the taxi did not know it, Staff helpful and very clean, small room, no choice of pillow, they were hard, cost acceptable
S. J.
Lovely hotel. Rooms are cosy but have everything you need in it. The beds are very comfortable. Situated in a great place too
S. C.
No complaints, does what it says on the tin. Clean and minimalist budget hotel. Had a slight problem with the plug and it was fixed in 5 minutes. Thin walls (beware). The coloured lights in the room are fun.
B. A.
Very small rooms - but clean and great location
E. T.
A very nice, affordable, clean and comfortable hotel. Staff were very friendly and it's in a great location. Absolutely no complaints!
S. U.
Box room comfortable enough without windows. Compact. Clean. Cosy
S. A.
Nice hotel to be in. Stayed in a room that had a really nice view. It's quite affordable too. Petrina attended to me at the reception. She did an amazing job. She was very receptive.
N. B.
Nice hotel with cosy a room and helpful staff however the corridors can be noisy at night and in the morning morning which you can hear in your room.
J. C.
Amazing room, friendly staff, sleek and modern with great food. Could have easily payed more for this and still been happy. Couldn’t recommend a better place to stay for couples that want somewhere to stay for a night.

Ideal for a single guest with a lot of plans!
I definitely would not stay here with my partner. The rooms were too small for 2 people to stay comfortably.
However, as a room for 1, it is fine, small, but OK.
The rooms contain everything needed, hairdryers towels, a seat, fold down tables and a reasonable bathroom.
The shower was very good.
My stay was for work, I had plans with friends every evening so was out most of the time, only returning late to sleep.
Having no windows is a little strange and most noticeable when trying to wake up as there is no natural light to help. But generally it is fine and not something I have ever had an issue with.
All staff were extremely friendly and helpful during my stay.
I only had a couple of issues: I could hear other rooms doors opening and closing during the night which woke me semi-regularly. There was not a lot of room for my suitcase, storage was suggested as under the bed, but whenever I needed it, even my carry-on suitcase felt like it took up a lot of room.
This room was extremely convenient for my work and at a reasonable price. I would definitely stay again.
If travelling with my partner, I would find somewhere else.
S.
Nice, modern clean rooms, awesome breakfast. Rooms below ground level are like spaceships within. Some of the rooms are super tiny and lack storage space. Location on the other hand is great and price very affordable. Suitable for tourists who are not planning to spend any time at the hotel. Staff is very friendly.

Had a lovely two night stay at Point A Shoreditch. Staff were friendly and helpful. The double room was super clean and spacious with gorgeous mood light settings and thankfully the rooms are built with air conditioning! East access to transport, food and cabs.
P. A.
Very clean and new. Room is tiny, but very comfortable. All you could need; hairdryer, safe, toiletries, decent sized towels and disco lights. Yes, the rooms have lighting controls to change the colour and a discotheque mode. Unfortunately, no room to dance and no turntables! Continental breakfast was very nice, but you get a lot of exercise as everything is in little pots (back & forth, back & forth). Brilliant location at an incredible price.
A.
Got a room without windows and I was a bit worried about it but I loved the atmosphere and the fact that you can customize the color of the lights.
Room was small, cozy and nicely decorated.
Staff are nice and helpful.
A. S.
Great location, comfy rooms but very small.
T. J. (.
Small, Compact and practical, not a lot of space in the room but the room has all the basic, the reception/lobby area is quite good to work with power/USB sockets every where. I would advice that lodger should manage expectation so they aren't disappointed by a lack of wardrobe and phone extension, however breakfast is good with several option and all for just £9.
Staff are very friendly and ready to assist.
R. B.
Small rooms but just enough for a comfortable stay. They are also clean and very modern. USB outlets for phone charging, mood lighting and smart TV. Breakfast was better than most places and staff was very friendly. Location is convenient for London sightseeing and it is 5 minutes walk from our office so for me perfect. Overall very good value for money compared to other city center hotels.
J. M.
Nice hotel in a good location. Plenty of transportation nearby and plenty of bars and restaurants as well. Rooms are tiny, but we'll thought-out and comfortable. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The price was better than getting a room via Airbnb. Will definitely stay here again when visiting my daughter in London.
R. K.
Ben in reception was so friendly and helpful with check in and check out, he gets 5 stars. Room was exceptionally clean and everything about our stay was great - only reason I'm giving this place a 4 rather than a 5 is that its a veeery small room. Mostly fine for us, as we just needed somewhere to sleep, but would've been good to have enough room to at least open suitcase up fully.
K. N.
Really good hotel in convenient and accessible location. Rooms are small and utilitarian, the beds super comfy. Breakfast is very tasty with a lot of healthy options to choose from. Staff is also very friendly and speak several languages. On the downside, check in time is very very late (15.00 and after) which makes it necessary for travellers to drop their bags and wait. Early check in and dropping luggage for storage incur a fee. There's an option for late check out as well, also for a fee.
B. L.
Clean hotel, central location but rooms are very small.
Stayed here at short notice for a weekend in London after seeing a show, wanted somewhere central for ease of getting back after the show and seeing some friends.
The hotel room was booked a few days before so I expect to get a bit scalped with the price so I can't complain too much about that.
The room was clean and no frills, the bathroom was very small and it all reminded me of those Japanese pod hotel type setups. I was disappointed to find that there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Something that caused me to verbally exclaim my annoyance at this when I woke up at 6am and fancied a quick cuppa while snoozing in bed watching some TV before checking out.
Overall a good clean hotel which does what it says on the tin.
A.
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and had an awesome time! The service was great, we were even able to check in early for free. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room could have been a bit cleaner (especially the bathroom), but was okay and had everything we needed. At night there was no noise. Breakfast was a wide range of tasty food. The next underground station is only a few minutes to walk to. All in all i would definitly recommend Point A!
d. w.
Nice little hotel the staff was excellent very helpful room was clean tidy
J. R.
The hotel is a modern chain hotel with a stylish interior – looked quite new. The standard room was small (think Japanese room size), but also as functionally furnished. There is not much room, so if you want to work in the room on a business trip, that would not be convenient. Yet the breakfast area is a comfortable lounge during the day with regular tables with electricity outlets as well as some comfortable lounge chairs and a sofa. The breakfast is above average, especially considering that everything has been prepared in advance. There is a large selection of yoghurts, fresh fruits and cereals. The coffee and tea are prepared by the staff. The staff and their service are outstanding, with everyone being extremely helpful and quick. Overall, I enjoyed my business trip with a weekend added for sightseeing. The price (between 90 and 160 pounds / night) was ok for the location and the fact that London was pretty booked out.
V. R.
This new hotel (opened in 2017) is perfect for a comfortable and reasonably priced stay in London. The staff is very helpful and kind, rooms are clean but a bit small and very minimal. You have all you need but a wardrobe. Fast complimentary WiFi service, good breakfast buffet and there’s an ironing room if you’re here for business.
Will definitely stay again next time!
K. T.
One of the best hotels I've ever been to. Rooms are well designed, modern and clean. Staff are friendly and attentive. Elena was especially kind.
Location is good, not too far from tube stops and in central London.
S. u. (.
Excellent location, just off Shoreditch high Street. The rooms were compact, thoughtfully featured and well kept. Clean, and modern. The wifi was great, and the smart TVs were a nice touch. The breakfast selection was good, with a reasonable variety, European style. The staff were all friendly and very polite. Would certainly recommend for a well priced break in the city.
B. V. N.
The staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is new and has a "mod" style. Continental breakfast buffet has lots of options. Closest Underground station is Old Street, about an eight minute walk. Neighborhood has several pubs and restaurants (but not in this hotel). Rooms are very small (see photos), but for the price it is a great deal.
M. C.
The staff were absolutely amazing. Silvio and Silviu were great and very attentive. Breakfast is amazing. The hotel itself is very clean and there area couple women working all the time making sure the hotel is spotless. Yes the rooms are a little small but it's in a great location and we didn't spend too much time in the room besides sleeping so it was perfect for us. Thank you again! Had a great stay!!
R. A.
Come here a lot for business as prices are great and the location is perfect. The rooms are clean, the staff are always polite. Breakfast is pretty good all things considered and more than enough for a hotel, but the over-designed portion-control buffet is just a bit weird considering they don't really care how much of anything you have.
There are some windowless rooms and they are slightly hellish, so do avoid them. But, in general this is a hotel where you can get some peace and quiet, even if you do feel like you're in a futuristic interrogation room.
G. L.
Overall, this hotel met what we needed for a quick business trip.
It is not luxurious, but had all that was needed for business people needing to prioritise location to meetings and good places to eat in the evening. Check in was very quick and convenient, as was check out. There was not a cooked breakfast, but a good selection of yoghurt, pastries, muesli etc. The rooms are small, and there isn't much space to work in the room if you do need to (we didn't). Overall it met our requirements well.
N. M.
Our company is using this hotel for the business visits and my stay there was great. Yes, bathroom and room was a bit small, but I am not picky. I just needed a place to sleep after a long working day. Reception is very friendly and breakfast is super healthy and good! Liked the design as it is very futuristic and hip.
A. R.
Perfect location for discovering the bars and cafes of Shoreditch and Old St, yet easy access to the centre of London. We actually walked to Leicester Square as it was a nice day and it only took an hour.
We knew we were only using the room for sleeping and showering, so booked a cheaper windowless room. It was a good choice because it still had everything we needed and was a good sized room.
Staff were friendly and there was a nice open area in reception. We didn’t get the breakfast but we recommend the Shoreditch Grind or Ozone Cafe for breakfast, both a 5 minute walk away!
J. M.
Small but perfectly useable double room, very clean and decent facilities in the room and reception area.
M. G.
Great hotel, very good treatment and free breakfast buffet. The room I stayed was very small but the quality of premises was outstanding. One minor problem was that my room was next to the emergency exit which makes a loud noise when opened. This woke me up one of the 4 nights I stayed there as the staff was using that door at 4am. But I trust this isn't the regular policy of the hotel. Recommended!
J. B.
Nice stylish hotel in a good location.
To say the room I stayed in was small would be an understatement, but it was well decorated and very clean.
The breakfast was lacking anything substantial, and as there was no kettles in the room so you have to use a coffee machine (at a cost).
A. M.
Great value, clean, modern hotel. The rooms are more like cool ensuite 'cubes' than the sprawling hotel rooms you may be used to, but it's perfect for the traveller on a budget without having to compromise for a dirty hostel. And they have color changing lights so you can set the mood
V. S.
Modern hotel with a great location. All the staff I encountered were very nice and helpful, provided great service and recommendations? And truly made me feel welcomed. I actually encountered a problem (entirely my fault) and the hotel staff went above and beyond to help me resolve it in a timely manner. I could not speak more highly of the team that works there!
Rooms are small but if you plan to be out in the city all day anyway all you need is a clean room and a comfy bed, and they are exactly that.
Couldn't beat the location.
If you are looking to stay in Shoreditch or have business nearby I would highly recommend Point A Shoreditch.
P. B.
No frills, spotless, quick and easy check in and out. Great value! Definitely recommend
A. A.
It's a cool hotel, although there's some notes, but the hotel is clearly mention that on their website. It's a very small rooms, very tiny bath, if you are tall you will might not fit into shower box :), no closet, shared ironing room, no spa, no health club, very basic breakfast, the room cleaning takes place every 3 days! Just too many things!
However, it's cheap, have smart rooms, modern design, and nice eating area.
T. C.
Very nice room. Well decorated, very clean. I arrived late, so only one member of staff, but very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
N. T.
I really loved this hotel. It is very close to London City. Walking distance to grocery shop. Service is 5 out of 5. Rooms are very clean. I would not hesitate to stay again there. Definitely will recommend it.
L. B.
Nice hotel with great location, just a few mins walk from Liverpool station. Small rooms, clean with friendly staff. Good value for money. They charge for storage after checking out, which is bit annoying.
V. G.
Great service, extremely clean and modern. However, my room in particular had no window and was very small but overall, it had every amenity that was required for a comfortable over night stay. I would definitely stay here again.
A. N.
Loved the modern rooms! The lighting is amazing and relaxing. The showers were so chic and I will definitely return every time I visit London. I cannot think the same about other hotels since Point A has changed my expectation bar.
A. F.
Really funky, new hotel in the Shoreditch area. Room was ultra modern with fully customisable mood lighting. Room was compact highly functional. Double bed was extremely comfortable and a great nights sleep was had! Bathroom was compact and fully kitted. For the price and location, I would definitely stay here again.
V. E.
The room itself was very small but in general we liked it. The hotel was super clean and organized. The staff was friendly and the location was good. The cost/benefit was fair in terms of location and what to expect. My only advice is to keep in mind tha the room itself is very very small.
M. v.
Nice hotel to stay in when visiting London for a few days. Rooms are small but efficient. Clean. There's no room for a desk or relax chair. Instead there are some trays and a foldable chair. By keeping the rooms small and only cleaning it after every third night the room rates are affordable. But having to pay for storing your luggage is not that customer friendly.
S. S.
Hotel is well maintained but for me the experience was mixed. Towels were slightly stinky and breakfast had nothing from kitchen instead it had fruits, corn flakes, eggs, breads, yogurts which I felt was not worth 10 Pounds. Nothing from kitchen means nothing was prepared in the kitchen instead the options were like just bought, stocked and served (example breads, eggs, fruits).
L. L. B.
It's clean and functional. The price is good and the service is very friendly. Its a nice place for a couple of nights.
Most of the room are quite small and have no windows. Nothing wrong with that but I believe it's not the best place if you need to stay more than a couple of days... 4 stars from my pov
N. F. R.
Nice, clean and modern rooms. The one I stayed at looked almost brand new. Rooms are small but for what you pay and get and the location, I thought it was pretty good. Happy with my stay and the service provided by the staff, very welcoming.
J. H.
Room was lovely, clean and well designed for a very small space, we were very happy. Our door lock was faulty but staff couldn't have been nicer in helping us sort this issue and gave us complementary breakfast for the trouble. They were all incredibly polite and helpful it was a real pleasure. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was that there are no tea & coffee facilities in the rooms. But they are available 24/7 in the lobby, this would also be fine but unfortunately you have to pay. Slightly dissapointed after spending over £100 on a room to then have to pay for tea and coffee from a machine. Would stay here again though!
A. S.
I was staying at the hotel in Shoreditch for about 10 days and honestly it is one of the best hotels I have been to. Amazing rooms with cool lights, extremely clean and the staff at the Shoreditch location are sooo helpful and amazing! It’s also close to many bars and restaurants so that’s a plus!!!! Defo recommend! Even for a long stay:)

Went out to celebrate our joint birthday and had an incredible experience staying at the Point A Hotel after an exciting full of adventures night. We both born on the 19th of October and thought why go home if we can continue celebrating in the area the next morning. The rooms are excellent. The lightning and the mirrors which is all over, Amazing shower! Very comfortable bed, we both had an amazing sleep! In the morning we decided to go out and continue the day to realise there was breakfast being served. Had all the options, pastries, yogurts, fruits and savoury etc, give you options to juices and hot drinks (which they also offer to take more to go when you leave the building). Truly amazed about the food and the quality of the place. The staff is excellent! We received kindness and smiles. Very thoughtful people. The cleaning lady was super sweet (from Romania, unfortunately don't know her name). The three names I can remember is Yoanna, Chelsey and Tirath but there was another gentleman when we came in for the first time. Thank you so much for everything and hope to stay with you again in the future. All the best for you.
C. J. B.
Really interesting place. Tiny rooms, but they're very modern and clean. Reminds me a bit of one of those tiny homes, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Just keep that in mind. For example, there is no extra space to put anything like luggage: it goes under your bed.
M. J.
Great customer service from Talina she helped us book a last minute room last week Friday she was very understanding and professional. Again thank you Talina
L. T.
Hotel is chick, clean and close walking distant to both tube stations, making traveling around London very easy. Room is very modern with touch to change lightning colors, has AC, clean nice bathroom (towels are supplied / changed daily), TVs. Not really any closet space but not a deal breaker for me. MASSIVE SHOUT OUT to Lino and staff at hotel for being so AWESOME and sending me my forgotten ring in the bathroom after I left for the airport back to USA. I can't thank you guys enough!!! Will definitely come back and stay here!
T. B.
Stayed here for a whole week in April and had a pleasant experience. The rooms are very small but offer all the comfort you need. Make sure to choose a room with a window as otherwise I could imagine it would feel quite small and claustrophobic.
The staff are friendly and the breakfast buffet is okay (continental buffet). The location is creat if you’re gonna be working around the area of Shoreditch or Liverpool Street. Price value ratio totally okay 👌
M. H.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, fancy features. Rooms have color-changing LED lighting around the top, control pads for AC and lighting and electronic Do Not Disturb indicator. Rooms are small but that's indicated in the pictures and descriptions. Beds are pretty firm so if you like memory foam mattress this isn't your best choice.
K. W.
Actually booked this place by mistake, meant to book Liverpool St as that's where I've stayed before, oh well no big deal. The hotel was really nice. My room today was a fair bit smaller than in Liverpool St but a it was only one night this time it was totally fine. In fact you could say Paul St may be quieter than the other place. I was on the 5th floor inside the courtyard so had no problems with noise at all. Comfy bed and a nice clean, new bathroom. They even have have a shelf in the bathroom you can fit a laptop on, handy!
D.
Clean, secure and comfortable hotel not far from Barbican station and Museum of London. The rooms are very small but the staff are friendly and helpful and the space is adequate if you are on business and only staying a couple of nights. There has been some thought put into designing a small room with plenty of shelves, a drop-down table and space under the bed for luggage.
R. A.
Price: 9/10
Ambience: 10/10
Cleanliness: 10/10
Good night sleep: 10/10
My room was with no window, which was fine. But didn’t like the fact that they’d charge you £25 for early check in/late check out.
I. R.
Staff is friendly, good atmosphere, but the rooms are very small and have no windows. We spent fortunately just one night and the we could hear the neighboor cell phone from the room above us vibrating several times. I recommend the hotel only of you spend 1-2 days.
B. O.
Now this is the perfect spot so far for me and my highest recommendation to any nomadic entrepreneur outfit there. You'll love it, great coffee at the excellent price of less than £2. The only drawback is that because it's a hotel and they serve breakfast till 10.30am, it will not be ready for you till 11am. And it closes to non residents at 6pm. Still enough time to get work done, meet your clients etc. PS water is also free here. Red Bull is the eye gouger though, pssst you can bring yours in. They know you're up and coming...
M. T.
Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting and it’s a perfect location close to a tube station. All amenities are nice but be prepared to be in a cozy small room. Staff is friendly and breakfast is good.
B. W.
Nice accommodations. Very modern design and decorations. The room was very small but cozy, which I guess is typical in Europe. Staff was helpful, but they charged you for coffee in the morning which is kind of a let down.
d. c.
Four stars for price, and the staff were great, my booking company failed to pay them they kept my resevation until I could contact the service and get it sorted out. Good advise on we're to get Sim cards ( Testco) just around the corner. The room is VERY tinys no storage for clothes of any sort. Nice neighborhood.
Note to management....you might want to think about a mat in the shower, the shower floor is very slippery when wet and we're standing next to a large plate glass.
T. S.
Simple and small but very nice and clean. My room was very modern and had lots of clever space saving ideas. The smart TV was probably the best I've seen in a hotel in England.
a. m.
My wife and I rented an accessible twin room here for five nights over easter. The hotel is fairly convenient to the Tube (Old Street, Mooregate or Liverpool Street stations) and the area is quite walkable although the pavement can be quite rough (my wife twisted her ankle several times in the surrounding streets). Staff were polite, cheerful and helpful at all times and the hotel seemed clean and well presented, although some smoking guests would stand right in the doorway so the foyer often smelled of cigarette smoke.
This is a budget hotel, so if you want carpeting or wardrobes it is not for you! It's clean and functional, and the one way it exceeds "budget" is that it actually does have comfortable beds. We did not choose to sample the hotel breakfast as there are some excellent breakfast places only a short walk away (e.g. Lantana, Blixen).
Although we were on the top floor of the hotel, behind double-glazed windows, I did find the street noise was significant enough to wake me from time to time, as it seems every street corner in the area has a pub with a large number of outside patrons until around 2am or so - this might have been particularly pronounced s it was the first fine long weekend in summer.
M. B.
This hotel is very cool. The rooms initially seem small, until you get in and settle. There is space for everything, plugs everywhere, and switches around everywhere. The room is comfortable and totally geek friendly.
G. D. C. N. R.
Great place, rooms are a little small but super fun and clean. Staff are mega courteous and always there to help you. Also very close to 2 tube stations, lots of restaurants and nightclubs.
M. T.
Clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Make sure your room has a light in case you prefer daylight to ambient light system. Central with tons of bars cafés shops around.
R. T.
Bang for the bucks, quite small rooms but with good planning. Paid for a room with a view, which I'm sure it would be if the window wasn't tinted. Great service. Breakfast ok, not much to say about that. Overall satisfied, will at least keep in mind for the next stay in London.
A. O.
Great service, clean rooms, comfortable beds, good bathroom, nicely equipped. The downside was that the room could not be heated, and it was cold outside and in. There is an AC, but it doesn't work on hot air mode. Thank you for hosting us.
M. S.
Sadly, a very mediocre experience. My room was extremely small and equipped with bare necessities (I especially missed a kettle and a pair of comfy slippers) . In the bathroom, I could not enjoy the showering experience as there was no handhandle and I was afraid to ruin my beautiful mane with water flowing from the overhead drencher (you guessed right - there were no shower caps provided). Also, there was not enough toiler paper which made me even more stressed and, no shame in admitting - constipated. I stayed in Point A for two nights and my room has not been cleaned during that time. Last but not least, the walls are extremely thin so I could hear the neighbours in the night and early morning - NOT a pleasant experience. The only good part is the colourful lights you can play with and pretend you're on a discotheque or having a romantic rendez-vous.
M. F.
Very good one, modern and well-located in Shoreditch. clean and very nice, you can change the colour of the light of your room whenver you want to, air conditioning insider every room and the tv can show you also the main attractions in your borough and illustrate all the options in your room. disadvantages: i stayed there for 2 nights and my bedroom was not tided up, moreover the bathroom door does not close.
D. K.
Room was clean and nice but too small. I barely managed to find place for my luggage. Breakfast was very delicious. The hotel is in into the central part of London close to the tube.
B. W.
Only a 5-10 minute walk from Liverpool Street station. Rooms are small but really modern/well equipped. If all you're wanting is somewhere nice to sleep then this is perfect. Staff are friendly and helpful
L. w.
Everything you need in a compact room. No frills clean a central. 10 mins from tube. Some good bars and restaurants within walking distance from hotel. Good value for money when staying in the village.
G. W.
We stayed in Shoreditch for 4 days during our trip to London. The breakfast was very good with many options of fresh fruits and good coffee. The hotel is near 3 subway stations in less than 10min walking.
Staff was very helpful with our questions.
If you are member of their A List, you get restaurant discounts and free gym during your stay.
There is a ironing room free of charge.
I would definitely stay in this hotel in my next trip to London!
C. T.
Fantastic staff. Each and everyone went out of their way to make our stay better. Printed us directions, gave us restuarant suggestions, names of bars, bus routes could not ask for better staff. Nice hotel, neat rooms, hot water, fast free wifi. Will definitely stay here again if we ever come back to London.
I. A.
The good: fairly new hotel. Decently priced. Room had a comfortable bed and clean bathroom, shower situation. There was cold a/c. There was fun mood lighting and a nice flat screen tv. The wifi was free too. Friendly staff and let me check in early.
The bad: the room was tiny by US standards I bookeda double bed aka a full size in America and there was about 12 inches between the foot of the bed and the wall. The bed took up 90% of the room.
This hotel is in a hip and trendy area. Shoreditch has it all and it's easy to get to central london. I would call this hotel room a microhotel.
I would definitely stay again though.
J. B.
My friend and I shared a room with a double bed, used the work stations and had no issues at all. One thing to note is that if you're over 6ft tall you may find the bathroom small and hard to navigate. Location is perfect, pubs and a Tesco around the corner and a 10 min walk to the highstreet
M. F.
Nice hotel: rooms are clean and functional. Bathrooms are pretty modern spacious. Hotel staff is super helpful and very friendly. Hotel has breakfast available for purchase and it's really delicious.
S. B.
Katerina Kourani, Joanna , Chelsea and Natalie, thanks a bunch for your timely help and assistance during my stay (Feb 2-9,2019) at Point A Shoreditch.
Rooms and washroom are clean, but a bit small from what we are normally used to , for 2 people to share.
The room has a hair-dryer and TV. Warm water for a shower. WC. AC with temp-control and multi- coloured light-panel. No phone / fridge /cupboard. 1 big and 1 small suitcase can fit under the bed to make space to walk in the room. The depth of the bag should nit be too high else the bag may not fit. In that case one can make the suitcases stand.
Warm / cold water for drinking (and cups) can be collected from reception. Breakfast if not included can be had on a paid basis.
NB: For 2 people one needs to book a "Twin Room" and not a "Double Room" as may be interested in some travel sites. Rooms with a window are better to stay in as they appear more spacious.
Nice locality full of Pubs. Was convenient for me as it was close to where I needed to be. Some reasonably priced eating joints are within walking distance . close to Moorgate station (5 mins walk). Bank station is a bit further (12 mins walk).
Besides local shoos to buy general stuff (Tesco) there is also an M&S and Starbucks about 10 mins walk from the hotel towards the left.turn rightvfrim "Beer Pong pub" and walk straight to hit the end if the road. Turn left to reach Mooregate station (M&S etc). Turn right to reach Tesco. Cross the road for some eating joints (Pret A Manger, Chinese, Bangladeshi etc) . If one walks towards thd right of the hotel there are some more eating options at the end of the road.(left and right side depending on where you turn)
The hospitality the staff is awesome (including some of the othes whose names are not indicated). Very warm and friendly and ever-readay to help.
A. S.
Great value, very modern and well designed in an excellent location with great service.
Had a double room with a window which was perfect for a short stay. Did not experience the windowless rooms so cannot comment on how they feel.
t. e.
Great hotel offering impeccable service. Staff were absolutely amazing and kept my luggage safe and secure as I went about my business before checking in. The room was squeaky clean. Would definately recommend.
M. S.
Nice hotel in a beautiful area. I enjoyed my stay there. Would absolutely recommend it. The only „flaw“ was the small window in my room. It was covered with a non-transparent foil. So it is bright but you cannot look outside.
S. S.
I haven’t stayed at the hotel but I’ve been to their cafe and lounge numerous times.
It’s very nicely tucked away from the carmines of the Silicon Roundabout, do one can enjoy peace and calm there.
Lovely staff as well!
M. T.
The staff was great. The location was convenient. The rooms were well maintained. The rooms were extremely small. Fine for one person, can’t imagine two people in the room.
A. S.
I used this hotel during a business trip to London, it was walking distance from my training venue. As others have said, the room is small, yet perfectly functional, I was traveling alone, so what it would have been like had there been two, I'm not sure. Quite possibly, just cozy 👍
On the whole, the greeting at reception was happy, the receptionist was knowledgeable about the area and the first impression was a clean and tidy one. This continued through to the room, where it was just so.
I have given 4 star due to the breakfast, I much prefer to open a box of cereal and empty the contents myself, than to pick up a pre poured bowl of cereal off the shelf. I also enjoy a cooked English breakfast. Or at least, toast, scrambled eggs and sausages, as you might get in other establishments.
I would visit again, with out a doubt, I just wouldn't opt for the breakfast, I'd get that elsewhere.
M. B.
Solid business hotel, staff is super friendly. My room was in the lower levels, so no windows and it felt a bit claustrophobic. Otherwise value wise it was a good deal
M. S.
Clean, nice enough except the TV apps didn't work for the on demand TV. Really friendly staff and the breakfast "buffet" was good value for money.
I was in a windowless room - would recommend windows 😂
B. R.
Nice hotel tucked in the side streets of Shoreditch but conveniently located near the tech startups in the area. They've got decent wifi, good service and pretty good food and coffee. Their cafe in the lobby area is a hotspot for co-working.
R. O.
Exceptional staff. They were very friendly. Amazing value considering you get a continental breakfast (not cooked) well worth it. Rooms are clean and modern
C. H.
Perfect location for Shoreditch and further afield if needed. The bed was super comfy after a night out and everything has been perfectly designed to maximise the space in a smaller room. The coloured lighting was fab too - a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
T. m.
Rooms phenomenal, but what made it special, the lights, oh yeah baby the lights, blue light, yellow light, green light or red light if you wanna get naughty. 😉 The staff were friendly. Well done.
M. K.
I stayed in standard double room . Room has very limited space . Hotel is good for short duration stay .staffs and facilities are very welcoming .one more point ,you will have same menu on your breakfast.
V. H.
Need to serve dinner as well, room was cozy, customer service was delightful
H.
Great location, good quality rooms and attentive staff. Size of room and bathroom is small and can be claustrophobic. Breakfast is fresh and simple with a good selection. For the price and location convenience it is worth the money
B. H.
Great rooms at adorable prices. Ethos is very much cemtred around the area of Shoreditch and showed off highlights in the hotel tv guides for sights and restaurants. Staff were accommodating. Rooms are small but ergonomic, with just the basics but ideal for short breaks.
L. M.
Very clean and tidy, good location, 7 mins walk to both moorgate and old Street station. No tea in the rooms, you have to pay for it. If you want to iron your clothes, you have to go downstairs in the ironing room. Very good gym at 12 mins walking distance
N. S.
Nice hip place but the rooms were smaller then I expected with barely space to move around or to keep luggage. The breakfast was good and the location is very prime with a lot of underground stations around.
j. m. r. d. t.
Great location, within walking distance to either old street, moorgate or liverpool stations and many shoreditch bars. The rooms are small but comes with everything you need, plus they are clean and the beds are really comfortable
C.
The room itself was nothing special and you had to pay extra for almost everything. But the staff were absouletly fantastic! They went above anand beyond to make sure we had a nice stay! Everyone we met at the desk were lovely. Would stay here agian just for the staff!
M. D.
Great hotel, perfect for a business stay, also great setup for a budget stay in london, the room has everything you need, plenty of room in the shower and bathroom
The room may appear small but it has the right amount of space
A perfect place if you're not planning to stay in your room for long
When you're in london, why would you?!
Will definitely use again
T. W.
Basic but great - comfy bed, got everything you need. However, asked for an early check in in advance and was told it would be fine and to just turn up and it would be sorted at check in but they were unable to check us in early.
g. b.
Clean hotel. Very near the underground. Lots of cool restos and cafes within walking distance.GREAT common area for travellers who need to work (wifi, enough power sockets, comfortable seats). Best feature: very kind and enthusiastic staff.
G. A.
Always a great stay. Small rooms but good facilities and friendly staff. Ticks the boxes for a short trip
A. P.
Good place. Very friendly staff. The rooms are small but quite fitting given the price. Clean and in good condition.
I. M.
Clean, modern, with everything you need. Rooms are small but comfortable. My room had no windows, but I knew that in advance when I booked it.
D.
Clean, secure and comfortable hotel not far from Barbican station and Museum of London. The rooms are very small but the staff are friendly and helpful and the space is adequate if you are on business and only staying a couple of nights. …
G. L.
Overall, this hotel met what we needed for a quick business trip.
It is not luxurious, but had all that was needed for business people needing to prioritise location to meetings and good places to eat in the evening. Check in …
D. K.
Room was clean and nice but too small. I barely managed to find place for my luggage. Breakfast was very delicious. The hotel is in into the central part of London close to the tube.
R. E.
Cool place and comfortable. Nice touch with the lighting effects and YouTube on tv. Windowless rooms are actually great if you fancy getting a nice deep sleep
K. R.
I've kind of disliked the reception and few other details. But as usual, you get what you pay. All in one good price/value.
S. R.
Small rooms but comfortable bed. Quiet and within walking distance of lots of cool places around Shoreditch. Would stay again.
H. W.
Room was small but functional. Reception staff were nice. Would have been nice if the breakfast option had cooked but you can't have everything
A. L.
Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were nice but didn't have a lot of storage. 10minute walk from brick lane
R. T.
Bang for the bucks, quite small rooms but with good planning. Paid for a room with a view, which I'm sure it would be if the window wasn't tinted. Great service. Breakfast ok, not much to say about that. Overall satisfied, will at least keep in mind for the next stay in London.
P. G.
If you look in for a cheap Hotel but with hight standards ( service and room accomodation) You are in the right place. Room not so big but with everithing you need. Free Wi-Fi/ reception 24h/bar. Very close to Liverpool station ( subway and train station) . Very close to the hotel small Pub.
j. l.
Great if you don't plan to spend too much time in your room. Friendly staff, clean and good breakfast. Great for business trips
M. “. S.
I loved the hotel! Because of the simple and beautiful room, the position (located near the center). The room was very clean, cousy and comfortable.
T. B.
Teeny tiny room, husband hated it, I liked it. Bed was 7/10 on comfort.
Only a few blocks from the tube station, which was excellent.
J. E. (.
It's really a place from which you can go to the city center easily. Rooms are small just for a night, you cannot do anything else. Beside that It's clean and quiet without any wardrobe. Just place your bag on the floor and go to investigate city.
F. C.
Really nice rooms and the staff is great. Newly built, nice big beds, big TV etc. Also very reasonable prices! Strongly recommended.
C. B.
It would have been a 5 star review if 'Sabrina' would have been smiling because the rest of the staff was excellent. Nice hotel small and clean in a great location. I will go back...
A. A.
I visited my aunt that stayed for three days at the hotel. Lovely atmosphere the staff is brilliant but the room are very small and claustrophobic.
I guess is value for money as their prices are very reasonable for the location of the hotel.
J. S.
Quite basic. The rooms are small. The staff were friendly. It's in a good location. But the room started to feel like a prison cell after a while.
A. G. U.
Room was good. modern and clean. Unfortunately the tv did not work but otherwise pefectly good small hotel. very convenient location and friendly staff.
X. A.
Great service, very trendy. Really small room, no closet.
S. H.
Love this place and the brand in general, the receptionist was lovely and friendly and let us check in 2 hours early for free which massively helped us out on a busy day, rooms are small but they were cheap and cleverly designed, central to everything and would highly recommend as an alternative to budget brand hotels.
M. N.
Good budget hotel. Good location near old street tube. Rooms are small but fine for a weekend visit. Very helpful & friendly staff.
G. D.
Clean modern hotel. Very small rooms with no facilities for a morning brew! Fine for a night or 2 wouldn't want to stay any longer.
R. T.
The room was clean and tidy. I was disappointed that the TV was difficult to use and the Netflix app was not on it. In the the advert it suggested that it was available
a. d.
Small room although very clean and comfortable .I would happily stay again
A. S.
Accidentally booked my room for the wrong month. When I showed up, management was able to change my reservation to that night and honored my original booking price. Room was small but had everything I needed. Would stay again
J. S.

Room was lovely, clean and well designed for a very small space, we were very happy. Our door lock was faulty but staff couldn't have been nicer in helping us sort this issue and gave us complementary breakfast for the trouble. They were …
C. S.
It's my own fault really, I got there and found that I couldn't get dinner, nor was there a bar! Then of course, only a continental breakfast. Like I say, I should have done my homework...
J. L. E.
Exactly what I needed. Comfy bed, friendly staff and a personal touch! Rooms are perfectly sized too!
S. T.
Never stayed at one of this chain before. Nice room and staff. Would happily return.

R. E.
Cool place and comfortable. Nice touch with the lighting effects and YouTube on tv. Windowless rooms are actually great if you fancy getting a nice deep sleep
T. N.
Cosy place to stay if you are going to be spending more time outside. The underground rooms are well air conditioned and practical enough. Staff very helpful and responsive.
Q. H.
Very basic. Rooms are 'cold' in the emotional sense. Felt like in was in a pod on a space station. Or a prison cell. Everything was clean however. Just very plain.
A. C.
Room is super small, but the hotel is very nice and clean and the location is just perfect.
P. S.
Good staff , very clean and comfortable only downside are the small rooms

If you don't mind a minimalistic hotel room but instead appreciate a great location, this is the place for you! Shoreditch is an amazing area very close to the centre of London.
E. R.
Really good and clean. Not very big rooms but all you need is there.
M. R.
Nice environment, nice rooms, ok breakfast. But I find it irritating when there is only a wall socket on one side of the bed in a 2 roomer.
N. B.
Great hotel for a quick trip to London. Fabulous modern room (loved the mood lighting!) and great breakfast.
R. W.
Price and location perfect and hotel cleaned to a high standard

great location and staff, super tidy and clean, enough space for one person, perfect for a business trip and the bed is beyond comfy :)
H. D.
Comfy, cosy and reasonably priced. Sparkling clean with helpful, friendly staff.
R. A.
Cheap, clean and friendly staff. Rooms are small and a bit awkward though. Lights in rooms have a disco setting if that's your thing.
L. W.
Not the worst hotel I've been to, but not great either. Reminds me of a cross between my uni halls and an airline toilet, but if all you need is a bed for the night, it does the job.
B. S.
Great rooms, great price. Convenient location. Rooms are small but very well laid out.
M. G.
Small but clean, quiet and comfortable rooms. Great price and location.

N. S.
Ten minutes walk from Liverpool Street Station, perfect when arriving from Stanstead. Rooms are clean and have everything you might need for a weekend in London.
A. D.
Great hotel and service, but loses points for foregoing the standard in-room kettle / tea-making facilities you’d expect at a hotel for a silly ‘mood’ lighting system.
K. K.
Very nice staff and facilities and breakfast (fee). Great for solo traveller. Kick it up a notch with the snacks.
M. A.
Very clean, functional, good breakfast to start your work day at the right price.

Emerging hotel chain with various locations in central London. Upbeat and modern decoration, and an emphasis on price and good customer interaction.
G. B.
A nice hotel with very modern rooms, although they were rather small and lacked tea making facilities!
D. W.
I actually stayed in the Liverpool Street station branch of the hotel. It was a bit weird staying in the basement, also floor boards were not acoustically insulated and there was a lot of noise from footsteps.
