K. B.Good location for Islington and North London (nearby bus route that takes you to ZSL London Zoo etc). Friendly staff and good availability for breakfast. Only thing that wasn't to the usual standard for Premier Inn was the shower which didn't work due to limescale on the taps. We were only there for 2 nights and used the bath instead, so it wasn't a huge deal, but we'll remember to test the shower before unpacking next time.
A.On arrival Checking in was quick. Staff were very helpful. The room was in great condition. The Angel Islington premier Inn does not disappoint in the expectation you feel staying at a premier Inn. It was also nice the staff said goodbye when leaving.
S. F.Great stay, we booked as part of a wedding party. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, it is a clean and comfy hotel and was perfect for a large group of us to stay in. They offered a family room which other hotels nearby did not and it seemed good value for money. The breakfast was excellent for the addition £8.00 and they were careful to provide gluten free and lactose free options. Will go back for sure.
r.Great location for Sadlers Wells. No restaurant due to COVID. As ever, clean and tidy but had to wait while they got the room ready at 15.00. Minor gripe Recommended

A. R.I stayed here for a work related night to the next door O2 Islington on the 24th July and I could not have been more impressed with the level of service. The front desk team were extremely welcoming and friendly, made me and my girlfriend feel very at home. We had a fantastic night's sleep after the show and the breakfast was spot on. Check out was quick and easy. I haven't been to a Premier Inn in years prior to this visit but I will happily come back when I need somewhere to crash. Can't wait to return for my next adventure!
D. L.Had an overnight stay with my family 27-28 august. Only cost 44 pounds plus 19.98 for breakfast (prices will vary depending when you book) Small hotel, by premier inn standards, but in a nice quiet area. Check in is 4pm (because of covid/extra cleaning). Room was clean and my only complaint was the winter weight duvet during summer months. Really doesn't allow a decent night's sleep plus the lock on the bathroom door didn't work. (Room 316). Not a lot of choice for breakfast on the cooked side but enough for us. They had the basics for what you needed. (Understand some of this may be due to covid/staffing issues). View from window wasn't great but it was a room for the night

S. D.Managed to stay for two nights over a weekend for £90, so it was a great value stay. Staff were all friendly and helpful and the location is great - 5 minute walk from Angel tube and loads of pubs and restaurants right outside the hotel. Only downside was the temperature of the room - it was so hot! The window didn't open and there's no AC, just a thermostat with a minimum temperature of 17 degrees, but the vent just seemed to blow out warm air. It was warm enough to make sleeping difficult, and this was during cold weather - I hate to think what it must be like in summer. We did get a fan for the room when we asked at reception which improved things at least.
A.Spacious rooms and cleaned well. Walls are thin and rooms are not sound-proof. The beds did feel itchy, even though they cleaned it.

It was quite clean although a few things could have been done a little but better. I found some hairs in on the sink in the bath and most of the towels looked like they were old although washed. They probably had too many washings behind them. But the price you don't expect too much being that central too.
W. W.Great hotel conveniently located near Islington High Street and the Angel Central shopping center. I was staying overnight for a show at the O2 Academy Islington and it was maybe a minute's walk away maximum. The band's tour bus was even parked outside my hotel, it was that close. The room was refreshingly clean and comfortable and the easy to control air conditioning was a welcome addition. I only really interacted with the staff at check in and check out but they seemed friendly and helpful. Only real down side was there was construction work going on inside so the majority of the reception area was walled off. As such it was a little cramped and a slightly contrived layout. This also meant there was no breakfast available. This was mentioned on their site when I booked my room, though, so it's not like I wasn't warned. Otherwise, the refurbishment going on didn't affect my stay or my nights sleep at all. Overall I'd recommend the hotel for anyone staying in the area.

You can get a breakfast box, but not quite the same as the breakfast they advertise on their website. We only had one towel between the two of us. We were woken at 8am by banging which I can only assume was part of the construction work and then the cleaner tried to come into our room at 8:30am. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly.

A. O.The premier inn London Angel Islington is a lovely hotel. Very convenient to the local tube stop and there are plenty of bus stops near by also. The rooms are lovely and we'll maintained. Breakfast was lovely, proper tea & coffee...... Costa Coffee, just what u need in the morning!! Staff are really nice & friendly, can't do enough for you.
A. A.Friendly staff and good deals on meals if you have breakfast included in your booking. Soap dispenser in the roam was weird tho especially for the room price, but good stay. Lots of places to eat and drink close by as well.
M. F.The air conditioning was broken and it was incredibly hot. The hotel did the best they could using fans and small air-conditioning units in the room. Although it was uncomfortable and difficult to Sleep well done non the less for attempting to make my stay as comfortable as possible.

H. B.OK it's a fairly standard Premier Inn so if you've stayed in one before you know what you're going to get. But what you get is good! Had 2 nights in Room 403 with my partner. It had a good city scape view and was quiet considering it's in a busy area of London. The room itself was a family sized room, with the standard super comfy king size bed, as well as a sofa bed. Standard amenities including TV, tea and coffee, hairdryer, hand wash and shower gel and some brilliant black out curtains. I was ill with a migraine and chest infection on the trip and can't emphasise how fantastic the curtains (and aircon) were in helping me get the extra sleep I needed to regain some strength. The staff were friendly and pleasant wherever I encountered them. If I need to stay in Ilsington again, I will definitely come here.

If not on a promo, it can get a bit pricey for what it offers. Once in the promo is quite good though.
Breakfast is too expensive taking into account that around the area (which is one of the nicest in London) there are plenty of places to get a good full English for half the price.
The staff is friendly, but trying to do a check-in is quite slow.
Vending machines with loads of useful items for travellers (but at a hotel rate of course) such as consumables, traveller plugs, camera accessories...
Elevators are secured with the hotel key so it makes you feel safe no outsider will break in.
The rooms are OK. A small TV, al-right bed, but no safe to store valuables.
The very worst in the hotel is that being in a hyper-connected city in 2015, they give you 30 minutes of free wifi, and then a ridiculous price to continue using it. The speed is not good either.

K. L.It's a clean hotel but I would compare it to a hostel rather than a hotel. There are very little amenities. The body soap and shampoo are the same liquid from a dispenser in the tub. The TV in the room is about 20 inches.

However, they exceeded my expectation on every level and the change in facilities, cleanliness, food offerings and customer service was exceptional.

J. H.Room, location and staff were all great only trouble was with the air conditioning which was down. Although everything was done to mitigate this the massive fan supplied whilst a.c. was down was too noisy to get to sleep properly. When a.c. up and running again we will go there instead of Double Tree, our previous hotel which was unavailable that weekend.

W. C.Oh my goodness! I had the most awful day travelling up to Islington for a two day course but luckily decided to stay overnight. If I am honest, I chose the Premier Inn for cheapness, but after the first horrendous and disastrous day of travelling (walking stick due to a broken back and a suitcase) and the most dire course ever, I arrived at the Premier Inn and straight away Nathan (no idea what position he was) rushed forward to assist me. He carried my bag down stairs, he explained everything to me and was very attentive. When I came down for dinner, he was there, escorting me to a table and making sure that I was fully catered for. As I was travelling alone and would rathered be around other people, than sitting in my room alone, they didnt mind that I sat in the restaurant for 3 hours while only having 2 courses, but I watched Nathan chat to every customer, he was so personable and make them feel catered for and for no better word 'special'. He is a star! My day was a complete headache but his attentive attitude made it so much better. All I can say is Premier Inn, this man is an asset to you, he is the ONLY reason that I would ever visit Islington again, the ONLY reason! 5 awesome stars to Nathan at Premier Inn Islington.

Food is OK, rooms are clean what you would expect. My only issue are the kiosks which infrequently work and if they do work the key card never activates correctly so staff always have to re set. Free wifi but very minimal strength, but emails work. Over all always a good experience but book well onadvance due to the cost.
R. N.Located around 1.5 miles from Kings Cross, the Premier Inn Angel Islington is ideal for the Business Design Centre, which is within 150 yards. Rooms are to the usual high standard with air-conditioning and tea making facilities. Breakfast is served from 6:30 and you have the choice of continental or full English. Not the cheapest though, over £180 for my one night stay.

I. J.Room was good. Not the best premier inn I've stayed at in terms of room size as I believe it's not one of the upgraded premier inns but a BIG 5 stars because of the staff. I traveled all the way from Manchester and the trains were delayed and I had an absolute torrid day but that all changed quite literally as I walked in to premier inn angel as a staff member named Tanbir straight away came and helped me with my bags as I had a lot. This doesn't usually happen in premier inn but in angel it does. He even insisted in carrying the heavy ones. Dinner service was excellent and once again Tanbir and tundir were on hand accommodate all my needs. If the manager is reading this let me tell you now you will regret if they leave you they are an absolute asset these two are. It wasn't because they were trained to be like this otherwise this would've been the case in all the other premier inns I've stayed at, rather it was because they were genuinely so nice and jolly and understood their customers. I'm not usually a person to leave feedback on things but this experience had to be logged because they were fantastic. I would stay at this hotel again definitely because of tundir and Tanbir. Hope to see you both again 👍🏼

T.Went here when my sister was dancing at Saddlers Wells. Good accommodation for the price, no nice places for a meal in the shopping centre next door but plenty of interesting shops to look in. Also a cinema in the mall for entertainment.

Both the room and the bathroom are very clean. The new beds are heavenly and incredibly comfortable. The hotel does what it says on the tin. I only missed a safe. There is also no lockable cupboard, so only 4 stars.
You can choose between 2 types of breakfast. The continental breakfast consists of muesli, fresh fruit, yoghurts, toast, croissants and various types of jam and honey. Here I would have liked a slice of cheese. The English breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, beans and sausages is available for an additional charge. You get coffee from a coffee machine with a selection of different coffee beverages, such as espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc. Tasted very tasty. There are also numerous types of tea and 3 different juices to choose from.
In addition, the hotel is secured against unauthorized access. With your keycard you can open the elevator, the hall door and the room door. However, this is deleted if you transport it with a cell phone. But the reception is happy to re-code them. Work should therefore still be done on the coding system.
The hotel is located on a quiet side street and is only a few minutes away from the Angel Tube Station. Several bus lines run in the immediate vicinity. A large Sainsbury's department store and numerous bars and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity.

Ein schönes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Die Zimmer sind klimatisiert, schön eingerichtet und geräumig für Londoner Standards. Es gibt kostenloses Internet was wohl etwas instabil ist. Zimmer wie Bad sind sehr sauber. Die neuen Betten sind himmlisch und unglaublich bequem. Das Hotel hält hier was es verspricht. Vermisst habe ich nur einen Safe. Auch gibt es keinen verschließbaren Schrank, daher nur 4 Sterne.
Man kann wählen zwischen 2 Frühstücksarten. Das Continental breakfast besteht aus Müsli, frischem Obst, Joghurts, Toastbrot, Croissants und verschiedenen Sorten Marmelade und Honig. Hier hätte ich mir eine Scheibe Käse zu gewünscht. Gegen Aufpreis gibt es noch das englische Frühstück bestehend aus Rührei, Bohnen und Würstchen. Kaffee bekommt man aus einer Kaffeemaschine mit der Auswahl von verschiedenen Kaffeegetränken, wie Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte etc. Schmeckte sehr lecker. Es stehen auch zahlreiche Teesorten und 3 verschiedene Säfte zur Auswahl.
Zudem ist das Hotel gegen Fremdzutritt gesichert. Mit seiner Keycard kann man den Fahrstuhl, die Flurtür und die Zimmertür öffnen. Allerdings löscht sich diese wenn man sie zusammen mit einem Handy transportiert. Aber die Rezeption codiert sie gerne neu. An dem Codierungssysem sollte daher noch gearbeitet werden.
Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße und ist nur wenige Minuten von der Angel Tube Station entfernt. Mehrere Buslinien fahren in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ein großes Sainsbury Kaufhaus und zahlreiche Bars und Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe.
