Stayed here with wife and 3 kids.
1 year old slept in bed us, good size and very good location.
We came on a Friday evening, and were lucky enough to grab free parking on the side road just next to the hotel. Business parking hours finish 5.30pm on a friday so bear this in mind if you come on a weekday, probably you would then struggle to get parking.
The Hotel was nice and clean and the staff were polite and helpful.
Only negative was the Breakfast, it lacked variety and had little bakery items. Also all the yoghurt pots were finished. Expect a little more considering we paid £21 for 2 adults.
Overall its a good hotel and would definitely recommend it to others for a budget hotel in London.
Ive paid a lot more for other Hotels in London which offer much less.

Clean, efficient, fabulous location within walking distance to The Shard, Sky Garden, St Katharine's Dock and onto Tower Bridge etc. An electric black cab taxi from Waterloo to the hotel cost £22.50 whilst a non-black cab charged us £35 from hotel to Waterloo. Hotel staff were helpful and the rooms were spotless. Great location.

Great experience much better than expected as was staying with kids. Great spacious rooms. Found the perfect room with one double and two single beds for the kids with plenty of space as well to play and be comfy. Very nice and helpful staff at reception. The lady in the restaurant called Eda very pleasant and warm personality. Fresh and wholesome breakfast. Only problem is with the parking which is also not too far but its expensive. Will choose to come again.

Fabulous hotel. Large rooms, outstanding price for London, great breakfast and within a 5 minute walk of Tower Bridge, Towers of London and the Sky Garden. It's a short walk (15mins) from Spitalfields Market which hosts lots of different vendor selling wide-world cuisine. The only downside is that it doesn't have any parking, but I managed to find some with a 5-minute walk.

Best premier inn I've ever stayed in, seriously. Every single staff member I came across was professional, and friendly. Such good value for money, the room was SPOTLESS (coming from an ex-hotel FOH Manager and Housekeeper!!)
It was my husbands birthday, the hotel organised balloons, prosecco and some chocolates (Ferrero roche's as well!)
This will be my 1st choice next time we come to London, better than any more expensive chain we've stayed in!
J. R.
Good location with many ammenities within walking distant.
Clean hotel with very friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble for them. Would definitely stay there again.

Premier Inn are a medium priced hotel chain. Excellent modern rooms, relaxed atmosphere. Good friendly service onsite bar & restaurant.
N. F.
The hotel location is perfect. The premium room was especially spacious, the rooms and common areas were super clean and well kept. The only downside was the AC. When it worked, it kept the room very cool, but it constantly was turning on and off throughout the night

Arrived a bit early to see if we could drop our luggage off but our room was ready anyway. It was explained to us that due to Covid, housekeeping would not come in our room unless we expressly needed something and we could ask for clean towels etc if required. I did catch the lady and ask for some bits which she was happy to oblige. The room was large enough and reasonably clean, just the bedside table legs were still dusty. The hotel was very quiet. No noise from the road. Nice outlook from the window. Bathroom was very clean and shower was good. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again as base when visiting London. I just wish hotels would have little fridges in all rooms.

Amazing, fantastic service and great value. 🙂 😃 ❤️ Adorable all the time. Bar + Block Steakhouse excellent quality food 🍲.

Great quality Premier Inn, situated ideally for what we needed. Very friendly service on arrival, and Bar+Block attached offered great options for dinner.

Reasonable price.
Clean.
Well organised.
Very comfy bed.
Good breakfast.
Good key card system.
Easy check-in.

A* customer service from both staff that were working yesterday evening, Aysha was warm, friendly and very helpful, advising us what there is to see and do in the area and all the eateries to explore.
Unfortunately the room had no hand towels or bath mat, and no shower body wash, the room was also visibly dusty in places, including the bedside table.
Cannot fault the staff who ensured we were given what we were needed to remedy what was missing.
Just attention to detail before guests arrive into the room for next time would be the only point I would ask to be improved, otherwise thank you for another lovely stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Aldgate London Premier Inn. All the staff were very welcoming and polite and helpful.
The family room allocated to us was perfect in size for the myself, hubby 2 children and baby
Breakfast at premier inn was a warm welcome by a lovely lady named Ida! The full English breakfast menu could have had a few more bits on their, but overall great service. Staff were friendly and helpful
Kids were happy, so can't complain
Overall, no complaints
Will definitely come back to Aldgate Premier Inn when I'm next visiting London 10/10
R. B.
As with all Premier Inns comfortable and clean. As I walk with the aid of sticks I rang in advance and asked for a room on the lowest floor possible and near to the lift . I ended up on the 3rd floor about As far from the lift as possible when I asked at reception for a room change the receptionist said she would ask her manager. 3 days on Still in original room no feedback despite a poster in foyer saying guests important 24hours a day.

Stayed at this Premier Inn quite a few times. Always find the rooms excellent and roomy. And the bar and block restaurant is excellent. The hotel is ideally placed, just around the corner from Aldgate East tube station.
N. A.
Everything about hotel --location,cleanliness,staff etc all excellent but i have a small complaint -after staying for 4nights my water was never warm enough for even a slightly non shivery shower let alone a bath everyone was very apologetic when i complained but nothing changed. My room wasn.t cheap and i would have liked to wash without freezing !
D. M.
Really nice and surprisingly quiet hotel. Stayed in a Premier Plus room for the first time and it was well worth the small price increase over the standard room.
All of the staff we deal with were very nice and happy to help with any thing.
Within east reach of, Brick Lane, Tower Bridge, Shoreditch High Street, City of London, as well as Tower Gateway, Aldgate, Aldgate East, Tower Hill and Fenchurch Street stations. All of which we walked to.
Plenty of choice for food an entertainment within a couple of minutes walk. Special recommendation for Pizza Union and the Curzon cinema.
E. S.
I love staying at this hotel, it is clean, the beds are comfortable and the staff are incredibly friendly and polite. Also, the breakfast, if you opt for it, is always delicious. Thanks!
C. R.
Good breakfast, generally clean although my bed cover had a rip in it.
P. D. C.
Very nice!
This is probably one of the nicer Premier inn hotels I've stayed in.
Great service
D. M.
Can not fault this hotel. Clean well maintained and the reception staff could not do any more to help ... Stars
H. T.
No problem the the hotel in general good price and a nice room for the night. My only issue is 4pm check in is too late when I arrive at 4:30pm my room was not available. My be staffing issues need shorting, check out is 12 noon.
B. M.
A great place for me and my partner to stay on a visit to London. Cheap and great location and transport links
N. L.
Comfortable room. Good WiFi. Bath was too deep made it hard to take a shower. Heating went off when lights were off so I woke up cold but generally ok
J. S.
Everything you would expect from a standard Premier inn. Good location to local sightseeing, Tower of London, Spitalfields, Brick Lane etc. Also near Aldgate tube and Liverpool Street so easy to travel about. Sainsbury's local and Tesco nearby if you need items whilst staying. On site restaurant has a good menu, but did not use so cannot comment of quality, value for money.
A. P.
Very clean staff was very polite and smart, and the all you can eat breakfast was spot on
D. S.
Staff are so friendly and lovely and bend over backwards to help.
It’s really nicely decorated and clean.
Bed was comfy and lovely to have the option of a bath and a shower.
Lots of safety information
Well worth the money
Restaurant was closed due to COVID rules so can’t comment on that
Highly recommend it here.
A. H.
Clean and spacious enough but rooms too hot and ac doesn't stay on long enough to adequately cool the room
A. I.
Great front of house staff. Lovely newly refurbished “premium plus” room. Highly recommended.
J. H.
Great value for money for a family of four in one room . Paid less than 250 in central London in the summer hols and £13 parking per 24hr less than 0.5 miles away. Bargain
h. k. (.
Friendly staff and great banter, lovely wonderful staff keep it up and also very clean rooms.
T. A.
Nice place, staff are good, we need to ask room service for everything.
G. A.
Excellent location, all London icons on walking distance, 3 minutes walk to London Underground Aldgate East station, very very friendly staff, but during our stay, hotel was massively booked, under staffed specially on breakfast time, over all we have nice time in hotel.
S. W.
Very helpful staff did not hear any traffic noise one of the best Premier Inn we have stayed at
K. R.
Best premier inn, in the UK
Good rooms great staff. Great location!
I stayed here a few times recently as I was working near by, I was compelled to give a review because the staff were so friendly and helpful!
S. W.
Clean. Well organised. Bag store. Great staff. New rooms.
B. P.
Very clean and modern but felt very rushed at the buffet breakfast
R. B.
As with all Premier Inn's clean and comfortable if only the staff.were as good as the Bar + Block next door.
O. J.
Great standard as always but prices are creeping out of control for a budget traveller in central London at weekends.
S. G.
Not the lenny Henry experience with the room. Breakfast passable glad we were there only one night
N. M.
Great service from start to finish, room was nice and clean and fresh ,breakfast great too, staff all lovely and polite aswell, would definetly stay here again
G. O.
Doing their best under Covid restrictions..a little slow delivering extra tea and coffee supplies but room and breakfasts were fine..
D. A.
Great value. Very Good quality beds in basic but v clean room. Family room just big enough for couple and two teens. Recommend the breakfast - lots of choice. Reception staff were top notch-friendly , informative, professional. Restaurant for breakfast was a bit too cool due to over enthusiastic air conditioning. Restaurant staff were great. Would definitely return.
s. b.
Good size room, good value, 5 minutes walk from tower bridge and brick lane
A.
Very helpful and friendly staff. The room restaurant and bar are excellent. The condition of the hotel is 'as new'. Breakfast and Dinner are of the highest quality. Security is also of note. Wih access to floors, elevators and entry protected by your card. Should you need to leave your luggage securely on the day of checkout - there is a store room with plenty of space. Best budget hotel in London by far, and I've stayed in all typed on my various trips. Really surprised by how good it was.
J. C.
Excellent location - affordable and secure ncp car park nearby, underground station close, local amenities close and gym next door
F. F.
Very good value great location very clean , efficient check in
Z. M.
Good location and value for money. Easy walk into Liverpool Street, Tower Hill etc.
N. I.
Nice hotel in good central location in London - minutes away from Aldgate East station. Stayed for a couple of night when attending a training course nearby and enjoyed my stay. Room was well presented and tidy with good features. Breakfast was one of the better breakfasts I've had at a hotel, lots of choice and all very tasty. Staff friendly and helpful. Decent value as well. Overall would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area with work or even for a leisure visit.
R. A.
Nice place, good value for money. Looks quite new, although already a bit tatty around the edges. Friendly helpful staff, nice welcome. Rooms quiet, spacious (for London) but no safe, no fridge. Great airco and heating. Nice comfy bed.
Handy for Tower of London and the city.
A. _.
Great hotel in an ideal location. Stayed in a family room which was perfect for our party, spotless with a great shower. Really friendly and accommodating staff, decent restaurant attached with a fantastic breakfast. Hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from two tube stations and so central for travelling about. Will definitely book again and would recommend
V. G.
Very pleasant stay. Clean rooms and pleasant staff. Breakfast exceĺlent buffet and some cooked to order. Evening meal very reasonable and of good quality. Full package is best value.
Bath is good but could do with bath mat and handle on wall for safety.
A. D.
The 5 stars were for the friendly and efficient staff, the great location and the cleanliness of the room. No stars for not being able to connect to the internet. I was reassured they would follow it up and solve the problem. The picture was our view.
G. P.
It's a great location for a London break, staff very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the room and hotel are very high. The food is wonderful, the breakfast is one where you can choose what you want from a good selection. Had some great evening meals at a good price. Would well recommend this one.
s. m.
This hotel mirrors all premier inns i have stayed in. Clean rooms friendly staff and very comfy beds. I had a great nights sleep. The breakfast in the morning was great food tasted fresh even though it was a buffet. I asked the server if they had quorn sausages as i did not see this on the menu and this is something they offer even though it is not advertised.
L. D.
Our favourite in London. We've stayed here with our 2 children a few times. The staff are excellent, really welcoming and obliging. The breakfast is first class, the food and staff are brilliant. We'll done Premier Inn!
B. M.
Fantastic service from the staff, who made me feel as though I'd stepped into 5* hotel. The restaurant that's attached is well worth a visit, again great service from all staff. I left a comment with the manager the night I stayed regarding the exceptional service. Thank you for making my stay so lovely. Stayed here for business but I'll be back soon!
J. N.
Just as expected, everything you need for an overnight stay and staff were friendly and accommodating.
C. N.
Location is good as it is close to Aldgate underground station. The neighborhood is tourist friendly as is close to Tower Bridge, Liverpool Station, Union Pizza etc.
We stayed in a room for 3 persons which was very comfortable. Breakfast had the same products every day, so it might be a problem for a longer stay.
Overall is a good place to stay for a couple of nights.
L. C.
Really really impressed with this hotel. Had 3 visits in 4 months with me and my daughter. The level of helpfulness and friendliness from all of the staff is unsurpassed. Nothing too much trouble and more befitting of higher priced hotel. Rooms comfy, quiet, air conditioned and dark at night. Great nights sleep and a central location.
B. M.
Went there with a group of 40 people. I have to admit that all the guys at the reception were very very kind cause the group was very loud and a bit embarrassing but they managed to do everything. Thanks guys, very cute from you. The hotel is in a good position and the room are comfortable, warm and there's everything you need. It's also connected with a bar and restaurant so you can chill there in the evening. They also have highly stocked vending machines where you can get water, snacks, toothbrushes and anything else you need.
If one day I had to go back to London, I will certainly take it into consideration.
S. H.
Great experience at this Premier Inn. Everything as expected, clean rooms and very friendly staff. The hotel is modern and well maintained.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. It's very near to Aldgate East underground station and a simple 10 min walk to Liverpool Street station.
Will definitely stay there again when in London.
F. G.
Staff are amazing and so friendly, twin room very spacious and the beds are soooo comfy. Only thing they could do with is a little more storage space in the rooms but can not fault anything else. It’s In a great area; two minute walk from supermarkets and Aldgate East underground. This will forever be my new accommodation whenever I’m in London!
J. S.
I have been there with my mom, it was for a weekend. The underground station is very close (5 minutes walking). The staff was nice and our hotel room tidy and comfortable. There is nothing to complain about. Would recommend.
M. D.
Very nice hotel, with really helpful staff. Thank you so much for a great experience. The room was really spacious and the bed was super comfy. The shower was also really nice. I would highly recommend staying here as it was a great location and great value for money.

My family and I have stayed at this hotel for some years for my birthday and I couldn’t fault it in any way.The rooms are spotless and comfortable, the restaurant is excellent— breakfast is unbeatable but the top of the list has got to be the staff.Over the years they have been very helpful especially as one of our family is in a wheelchair but this year they really surpassed themselves. They surprised me by decorating my room with a banner and balloons,a card, a cake and a drink—or two🤫 They are truly lovely people and they make the hotel lovely too.

Overall I had a very good stay despite having a rotten cold. A couple of lifts were out of order but this was not a problem and I was never left waiting long for the single available lift. The staff were very friendly and polite. The room was clean and comfortable with excellent beds. The bathroom could do with a touch up here and there but it was clean and tidy. One major point I noticed was how slippy the bath was when standing for a shower. That's the only serious issue which needs addressing before someone slips and breaks their neck and sues the pants off premier Inn.

Exactly what you'd expect from Premier Inn. Restaurant very good, both for breakfast and particularly dinner. Steaks really good. Nice atmosphere. Pretty well placed for access to the city, with good transport links via the underground.

Once again Premier Inn at its best, clean rooms all the bits work. Room service been and gone when you are not there and the front of house staff very polite.
It was also cheaper than the others in the area. Aldgate East station a few steps away with a busy but relaxed atmosphere after dark. Well worth remembering this hotel. 👍
R. Z.
Great area to stay. Super friendly stuff! In the room you have coffee and tea which is a benefit. Lots of restaurants around and 2 grocery stores and very pleasant area to stay in London. Not loud as it’s not on a main loud street.

I've stayed in lots of Premier Inns with work over the years and this one is one of the better ones. Really friendly staff and nice rooms, with the usual comfortable beds. It's located on a fairly quiet side street in the Aldgate area, and backs on to the communal garden of a residential development, so it's fairly peaceful, especially if your room is at the back. Convenient location for Algdate and Aldgate East tube stations, and about a ten minute walk from places like the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Hope to stay here again when I'm next in the area with work.
N. B.
Good location and close to the tube. Room small ish bathroom good apart from shower pressure low.
Biggest problem was air con. I arrived and the room was hot. Normally you would turn the air con on at the control. Not here. I had to go to the reception and tell them.....they immediately knew why I was asking and a guy disappeared into a cupboard and by the time I got back to the room it was on. Great. After two hours it was too cold so I tried to adjust the temp and speed.....nope. just the spread. I then seemed to have hit the on/off button and that was it. No air con. I slept very badly.....no way they can guarantee a goods nights sleep as it was so hot and stuffy. And in their guide it says keep your room cool for a better nights sleep......right. Thanks. Maybe let the customer decide on when and how to use the air con instead or is it a energy/cost saving policy?

Well after looking at the hotel on google maps I requested a corner room at the Leman. Street end, I was disappointed as it wasn't the view I anticipated so asked staff for a different one, then another - The rooms I was looking at on maps belonged to a different building!! The staff at this hotel were amazing - nothing was too much trouble, and they tolerated my fussiness with a smile and good banter. I am delighted with the standard of my room and the politeness of staff and so grateful for their tolerance. I would certainly recommend this hotel .
J. F.
Great location, easy to check in, with nice clean & quiet rooms.
C. F.
Just loved this place! Modern, clean, quick and easy to check in and out. The location was near some good food places (pizza!) and there was a quirky statue outside our window. It was horses galloping in water and the water splashes and lights up to make it look as though they are running through it. Very huge windows and we had a very large room! Really great stay and I'd stay again!
K.
As you would expect from a Premier Inn. Nice food and service from the attached restaurant. Marked down a star as the rooms facing the street need triple-glazing to soundproof; it's a quiet street but when a loud motorbike goes past at 11pm it's very noticeable. There's no on-site parking and the place they recommend is quite expensive (£30 for 24hrs); a quick Google search and I found a place the same distance away (half a mile/7mins walk) which was £24 for 48 hours.
C. Y.
Room was great, clean and spacious and s very comfy bed. We had a family room, 2 singles and a king-size , lots of room for the 4 of us, the staff were all lovely and helpful and the restaurant was great :-)
K. H.
Excellent staff, all very helpful and friendly
M. D.
The hotel is clean, well appointed and excellent value for money. The staff are efficient, helpful and very friendly. The breakfast is delicious and amazing value for money when you combine it with an evening meal, and the restaurant service could not be more pleasant! They are great and a credit to Premier Inn. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will definitely go back!
V. O.
Great location, comfortable, spacious and very well kept bedroom and bathroom. Typical newer build Premier Inn. Delicious buffet breakfast in a nicely presented restaurant. Easy and friendly check-in. Well priced. Needless to say, I would stay again.
J. S.
Very good overall with good service and rooms. First try of the beds which are good but just slightly firm for me. Food good. Usual London parking issues made more problematic by local building work which means it just escapes a better score. Be better soon though. Good premier inn standard.
R. S.
Great place. Very comfortable bed, clean and neat, great location.
The only downside I can think of is that for a family room there is nothing like enough space for clothes. Oh for set of drawers.
We got 6 hangers and I large drawer.
M. B.
Exactly what you'd expect from Premier Inn. Restaurant very good, both for breakfast and particularly dinner. Steaks really good. Nice atmosphere. Pretty well placed for access to the city, with good transport links via the underground.
d. g.
Despite never normally booking Premier Inn this stay changed my mind, new hotel, fantastic service. Even with no restaurant (being finished) breakfast box was ample. Great location for family and quiet.
M. R.
As with all Premier Inn hotels, you know what you're getting. Our room was on the 5th floor and was, thankfully air conditioned. Comfortable bed, reasonable space and a well fitted bathroom with a good shower. This particular hotel is close to Aldgate East underground station giving easy access to central London.
D. M.
Good:
Reasonably priced.
Quiet at night.
Decent location
Friendly staff.
Good value breakfast.
Bad:
Our family room was just a normal sized room with 2 extra beds squashed into it.
Evening meal was bland and expensive.
P.
Nice clean rooms and a pub restaurant attached to the side called the bar and block. Beds are creaky which is so 1970's, and we could hear loud music in our room from a club nearby or the bar below?? which we thought was a poor choice of room by the staff when we are in a family room.
Breakfast is one of the best we have had and the greeting lady is really nice and knowledgeable
If not for the creaky bed and music we would give 5 stars.....shame
果.
Visited London for a concert at Hyde Park. Hotel experience was fantastic from beginning to end. Every member of staff were so kind and helpful and knowledgeable about local tube and bus routes. Breakfast was wide ranging and good quality. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and good quality. Good value for money. We'd stay again.
C. H.
Really enjoyed our stay! Rooms were fresh and clean. The restaurant was under going Reno's so the hotel provided free breakfast boxes. Very appreciated! Will definitely stay here again!
P. T.
New premier Inn. Good size room, comfy bed, breakfast was expensive and average, but could eat as much as you like. Lots of good places nearby, only a short walk to brick lane. Ideal if working in the area. Staff were friendly and I managed to get a iron and ironing board to my room with no issues. Has digital check in too, which made check in easy.
G. S.
Good, quiet location close to tube stations for easy access to tourist destinations. Great buffet breakfast offers value for money. Staff very accommodating.
A. N.
The hotel is within walking distance from 2 underground stations so very easy to move around. There's not many shops or restaurants around but you could walk to the London Eye area where during holiday seasons they have markets s well as many eateries.
The hotel itself was ok, typical Premier Inn. There's not much of a view as the area doesn't have much to offer. The restaurant food was meh, ordered the steak and it wasn't that great. Didn't pay for breakfast as I didn't think it'd be of value.
The staff were friendly and helpful when needed.
H. A.
honestly was amazing. very friendly and was able to drop bags off before check-in. Very conveniently close to the underground for access to all the main lines and then DLR is just down the road. A great quiet place to stay if attending London Comic con.
C. H.
Overall it's a modern hotel with a friendly staff in a great location. On the other side our room was too hot, with no air floating through, and no windows to open. After telling the staff, they said they would check it out, we got no feedback, and nothing changed. Also think it's not okay that the cleaning personell holds an elevator to one floor for 5 minutes. As long as there are one elevator at one floor the others do not stop there, this is a 6th floor building.
J. L.
No problems with the hotel, exceptional cleanliness and room standard. However the restaurant really lets the hotel down. Very slow service, food not to normal premier inn standard. Staff very attentive as usual was half term so very busy. But would stay again.
B. C.
Room was great, well equipped and was definitely the best nights sleep I've had in ages. The bed is so comfortable and extra pillows were available. Good selection at breakfast.
E. D.
Premier plus room a good size for London
Very useful location
M. a. E. W.
Good service and staff. The staff at breakfast were particularly good - and so was breakfast. The aircon in the room could have done with being cooler but not a big deal. It's our 5th visit here. Good for aldgate east station.
V. B.
Room was comfortable and quiet. Food from restaurant was awful. Chicken wings were tasteless and had a spoonful of "coleslaw" which was laced in vinegar. My main salad was average and they forgot my side of Mac and cheese. When it arrived at the end of the meal they shouldn't have bothered. It was a cup half full of rocket and an essence of Mac and cheese at the bottom. I was not impressed.
A. W.
Nice location, easy walking distance from 1 underground station, and a DLR station not much further out.
Rooms are spacious, clean, and mostly well equipped, although you don't get a shaver socket in the bathroom.
friendly staff, excellent service.
G. P.
It's a good dependable hotel, does everything you expect and does it well. Friendly staff good food. Could do with adding a few more options to the menu for people with allergies, but they are happy to make modifications to their standard dishes to accommodate.
B.
Good Premier Inn in superb location. Rooms are good, standard Premier Inn. The breakfast, as usual, is phenomenal value especially for central London. Staff were generally excellent although they could be a bit more flexible on check in/payment arrangements. They would not take payment over the phone and you cannot log in to the Premier Inn website to pay if you booked via third party.
M. D.
No hot running water in bathroom and beds not made up properly over 2 days. Free breakfast offered in compensation but the queues and standard of food at breakfast time was very poor. Not enough staff, and the ones who were there didn't seem to know what they were doing except the female at front of house who was run ragged! The tables were dirty, not cleared and food wasn't being restocked. From joining the queue at 09:25 - I actually sat down to eat at 10:10 which was atrocious. I would never have paid for a breakfast experience like this and never will in the future! Overpriced and poor quality...
G. O.
Great place to stay. Very close to the Aldgate East tube station. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and check in /out process was quick! Would stay here again if I could
S.
The hotel is clean and the staff are helpful and welcoming, standard affair with Premier Inn. The Thyme restaurant has some real problems and I would suggest eating elsewhere. The food used to be pretty good last time I visited roughly a year and a half ago, but it seems to have gone down hill considerably. My starter had dry coleslaw, the sour scream and Chive had no Chive and tasted of old sour cream. My main had a very strange tasting BBQ sauce that tasted like red wine was mixed in with it. The mixed grill is dry and over done. Cod and chips is a disservice to the name, since they serve it cold, soggy and with skinny fries!!
The service really didn't have any idea what they were doing and one of the evenings started piling our dinner on top of our starter plates rather than take the dirty plates away! So far of the 3 out of 5 days I've eaten there I wouldn't recommend it at all.
[Edit]
So our last two meals in the Thyme restaurant have been reasonable, this may have been because we were vocal about the quality and the staff seemingly had overheard our criticism. Food was hot, served both starter and meal in under 45 min. Pizza still off the menu, I assume when they are not short staffed and have trained up this will item will be back.

Lovely comfy bed, nice shower and bathroom, good location, very reasonable, really enjoyed our stay
A. P.
Great location and great hotel for kids. The rooms were spacious - even four of us in one bedroom. The bathroom was large and very clean. And the breakfast was inexpensive and convenient.
B. M.
I booked in here from Munich, given that i no longer live in London. It is a really nice place, just opposite "Whites", next to a pizzeria that serves stone baked pizza in the centre of the city, minutes away from London wall and Tower bridge. We travelled by bus to all places of interest from here cos I prefer the buses to tubes. The staff at the hotel cannot do enough to make their guests feel at home. They even lent me an adapter cos mine did not work. I will definitely book here again.
J. G.
Didn’t stay here, so can’t comment on the rooms but had a little emergency and the front desk staff helped me out even though I wasn’t a customer. Great service in these challenging times.
P. B.
A exellent place to stay while in London. The staff and I mean all of the staff were the most pleasant people you could wish to meet. The breakfast was very good and something to look forward to. Thank you for a lovely stay
C. C.
Having bibles in the room is weird. Also the showers are fixed to the wall and there are no shaver sockets! The breakfast quality is variable with great bacon one day and hardly any the next. Focus on the basics of breakfast, showers and shaver points and less on the religion and you'll get more stars.
T. D.
Stayed at quite a few Premier Inn's and never been disappointed. Good customer service, nice rooms (good sized bed, very comfy and a very good nights sleep) and this one's only a 5-10 minute walk to Aldgate East station for all London's attractions.
J. M.
If you're looking for a simple, purse-friendly place to enjoy your visit to London, you can never go wrong with a Premier Inn and the Aldgate location lived up to that promise. The welcome was warm, check-in was easy, the room was what we had paid for and fit a family of four easily with room to spare. We couldn't figure out how to make the maids not give us fresh towels everyday, but maybe because it was a slower time being in October, they just gave everyone fresh towels, no matter if we left it on the bathroom rack as instructed!
The staff in the restaurant during breakfast were amazing. They were quick and efficient and for around $24.00 the entire family had a giant full-English that saw us well into lunch time.
Close to the tube - a great tube, actually! Aldgate East is part of the Hammersmith Line and District Line which can get you pretty much anywhere in the city within 5-30 minutes. And the best thing about it - there are minimal stairs and no escalators - it's located higher up toward the ground level so even having to drag all our luggage to get to St. Pancras wasn't a problem.
This is definitely the choice for us when we visit next time!
-- Only down-side, we did run out of toilet paper by our last morning, which we could have called housekeeping for, but as we were leaving, didn't bother with. However, you'd think they would top it up each day since it is a single sheet dispenser and not a roll.
B. C.
Clean and fresh. Mattress really comfortable (like all premier inns). Wish the bar was open past 11 as traveled all day to get to London. Self check in was really easy. Good choice of vending machines
P. F.
Excellent for families - Friendly staff who are helpful and attentive (offering to help move a high chair without asking). Multiple options of last minute purchases, and a great paddling outside area nearby for kids to play in (hopefully this will stay), bring change of clothes, they will get wet, but worth it!
B. C.
Lovely clean friendly and so helpful
M. B.
A nice Premier Inn, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are kept clean daily. The breakfast is help yourself, continental and full English are available . The nearest Tube station is Aldgate East which is about 5 minutes walk.
D. C.
Usually go to premier Inn in Westfield shopping centre in Stratford in London when visiting my daughter but she's moved to Limehouse and Aldgate premier Inn is the closest to her flat. It's nice enough and modern. You know what you're going to get as most premier Inn's are the same. We only had breakfast on the last day but I was disappointed with it. It's fine if you like an English breakfast but I prefer a continental breakfast but it didn't have a good selection. Would have been ok if you could take a but of both breakfasts but waitress said you could only have one or the other. That's why I only gave four stars.
M. B.
Great location, not far from any of the main sites and easy to get to tube station or bus stops. Convenience of small Sainsbury's litterally round the corner. Bedrooms, halls, lift, bar, restaurant, reception all impecably clean, still looks and spells new! Although busy at Breakfast time choice of food was fantastic and very good value for money especially if you took the £24.95 offer of Breakfast and Dinner as you even get a free drink with your meal, the dinner was also of very good choice and value. Comfy beds/pillows. Stayed two nights, first night so quiet, well insulated building and air-con in room too. Unfortunately the wind picked up second night and a banner on a crane nearby was flapping noisily most of time keeping us awake. All in all though this is a great Inn in a great location, highly recommended, would definitely stay there again, staff very helpful, brilliant!
B. B.
The room was large, clean and looked modern. The hotel has a restaurant associated with it, and as a hotel guest you have the option to purchase a meal deal. The meal deal allows you to get 2 courses and a drink in the restaurant. Overall the food in the restaurant is fine.
D. L.
Nice hotel, the location is very conviniant to visit the city. Subway station 5min walk... the hotel is quite, staff is friendly and helpful. Wonderfully tasty and organized breakfast for a chain, very clean.
G. P.
Rooms where nice, ac a bit noisy for my taste so had yo turn it off at night. My mixed grill dinner included bits that resembled the full monty we got for breakfast on the same day. Stick to the pizzas for dinner !!!! Happy hour 241 drinks is awesome!
D. H.
Probably the best family friendly value for money hotel I've ever stayed in. Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff and a great breakfast, all within a stone's throw of central London. Will definitely be back.
G. M.
Well situated, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and next to a small sainsbury's for other necessities. Premier Inn standards as expected, clean and modern. Merry Christmas to all of the staff for a great stay.
H. H.
Great hotel for exploring central London. Excellent facilities on site. Very helpful staff. Two tube stations within 5 mins walk and local shops and restaurants close to hand. Highly recommended.
l. d.
Relaxing, clean, very good staff.
S. S.
This hotel is really convenient near food places and the tubes underground. Besides that, the room is kept clean and the breakfast is decent. The staff are really nice as well
D. P.
Modern (relatively new) premier inn in very good condition with comfortable rooms and the usual high quality bed. 2 Automated machines available on check-in or you can checkin with the staff on the desk. Its got a thyme restaurant in the hotel, which is the typical quality you'd expect. Nothing to write home about, but good enough. Also theres always cold water in reception next to the two elevators. Rooms have a good size TV worth a desk level panel for plugging in your own hdmi/USB device for use on it.
A. T.
Good location. Clean and tidy.
M. S.
Room is a good size and spacious. Bed is incredibly comfortable. Great location opposite cafe Frei - best coffee place I've ever visited. Good transport links - next to aldgate east. Staff friendly and helpful. Right next to the event I am staying here for. Reasonably priced. Would recommend.
D. W.
Ideal location, friendly staff, comfortable accommodation with good food and reasonable prices. The only downside was having stayed for two days and nights in a hotel with over 200 rooms on six floors, two of the three lifts were out of order, hence much time was spent waiting for a lift. Signs on the two defective lifts apologised and said "An engineer has been called" When you did get in, it was somewhat ironic to see a maintenance plate displayed saying 24 hour callout. As we were there 48 hours, am not sure which 24 hours it refers to. Curiously, the cold drink vending machine in reception displayed a similar notice, hopefully it was not the same engineer they had called.
B. D.
The staff great and accommodation as you would expect. Restaurant not brilliant, can't cope when busy, ran out of most food. Great pizza place on corner down road though!
D. W.
You know what you are getting with Premier Inn room was clean and quiet. The are plenty of good restaurants around in algate, I wouldn't bother with the one attached to the hotel, it's average at best. I'm docking one star as the free WiFi is awful it's 1mbs and frequently drops. Upgrading to "8 times faster" is £5 a day seems silly to be paying Thistle much in this day and age.
N. D.
Good experience, expected of this chain. Staying for three nights so got maintenance to fix a bulb that was out, which was done very promptly. Staff are friendly and helped to sort out some confusion with my corporate booking.
N. C.
Great location (convenient for underground), restaurant food was very good with 'meal deal' offering fantastic value for money. Rooms slightly smaller than most other Premier Inns across the UK.
T. -. M.
Great location for seeing London. Quiet enough in that it's away from the tourist madness but only 5 mins from Aldgate East tube. Clean, modern and family friendly. Added bonus is that it has a Pizza Union 1 min away at end of street and Sainsbury's local 2 mins away. All of this for £60 a night for a family room.
j. s.
Hotel was in a good position to get round London.. helpful staff. Rooms were clean would book here again.ideal for what we wanted..
E. B.
Great room and staff. The hotel still feels new. The only complain regarding my stay were the construction works happening next to my room. However these only start at 9am and were out of control from Premier Inn.
S. M.
I like this hotel. Good location for training, close transport links and restaurants nearby. Only negative is the hit or miss phone reception although this is likely due to the construction work nearby. However it is always quiet and I never am kept awake.
Y. B.
Beautiful spacious room. Lovely food and very good location. I was there on New Years holiday with my 8 yr old and a 9yr old. They absolutely loved it.:)
A. R.
Great stay. The room was comfortable and quiet, and the staff were lovely.
The restaurant downstairs was also excellent.
T. D.
If you are looking for jack the ripper tours good place to stay also do sherlock tours as well around the corner for Whitehall pretty much every attractions in the area London bridge the eye pretty safe massive police station across the road you only notice the flag
k.
Outstanding price/performance ratio. Quiet clean and modern rooms. Comfortable beds. Staff very friendly and helpful.
First adress for my next stay in London.
C. d. C.
Good hotel which is very clean and worth friendly staff. The room was cold overnight however the breakfast was great!
R. E.
Loved the cleanness of the entire hotel, loved the room, but mostly loved the staff!! Really friendly and helpful! I will recommend premier Inn to all of my friends that are planning to visit London!
P. A.
Lovely night. Great location for easy exploration of Borough Market and the Tower of London. Plenty of convenient nearby shops, pubs and restaurants yet was still able to have a peaceful nights sleep
k.
clean, quiet and smell nice (for me nice is just fresh and airy with no strong odours), simple as that and even though it’s that simple it’s rarity at economic hotels
C. S.
Everything you expect from a premiere inn... Clean rooms, easy check in/out and food options available (breakfast and dinner). Close to a supermarket if you need anything and plenty of places to eat near by. Easy to use as a base to explore london.
E. H.
Very good, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast great, definitely worth the extra payment. Only issue was one bed was quite uncomfortable but staff sorted it out quickly. Thank you London Aldgate Premier Inn!
B. D.
Quiet enough. Double bed comfortable but not stable enough so easily disturbed other person when getting out in night. Other Premier beds better.
D. S.
The location was beautiful not to far from shops and bars with plenty of places to eat so close by. The tube station is close to the hotel so made things more practical if you was in London for sight seeing.
S. W.
Clean and pleasant hotel, definitely the best brand of 3 star hotels. Staff attentive and friendly :) Only thing is the restaurant dinner service is incredibly slow. Get there as early as possible for chance of a normal service
G. G.
Great place friendly staff and good service, check out time also good and can keep your luggage there for the day if needed, would definitely stay there again, beds very comfy.
D. C.
This is a very nice branch of Premier Inn. The breakfast is tremendous, and not as busy and hectic as in a lot of the hotels. The staff, particularly Sheila, are very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
J. C.
The primary chain hotel in UK, with basic but all essential facilities. Good accommodation for travellers. There is in room kettle for hot water, coffee and tea.
D. S.
Reasonable hotel opposite kings cross station (2 mins walk down the side). Rooms clean but small. Nice reception area with Costa Coffee shop on premise.
T. D.
Modern, clean hotel with decent sized rooms.
Location is perfect for exploring London - Aldgate East is a 2 minute walk and within walking distance of the City and London Bridge.
Free WiFi isn't worth wasting your time with - 0.5mbps is insulting in a modern city like London where 4G is 40mbps.
J. A.
It's a nice conveniently located, close to Aldgate East Tube station. However staying more than a single night is not ideal. There's very limited cupboard space and no in room safe facilities.
G. C.
Great location just around the corner from Aldgate East underground station. Modern interior and clean throughout. Great breakfast selection. Staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful.
D. S.
Great location, friendly helpful staff. Enjoyed dinner and breakfast. This is the second time I have stayed here and will do so again
T.
Brilliant location. Very central
N. G.
Highly recommend it! Lovely place and lovely people!
C. h.
Always stop at premier inns as you know exactly what you are going to get... Clean spacious rooms. Only downside was the restaurant in the evening. The people worked hard but they appeared to be understaffed as the first wait time was terrible.
J. W.
Great hotel, clean and trendy, staff so friendly and helpful.. can't do enough for u. Rooms good size & food really tasty.
J. C. (. N. o. G. E.
The quality of the rooms were fantastic. The location is just around the corner from Tower Bridge and the City of London. I would stay here again with no doubts.
C. N.
Stayed here for a concert at the Troxy bout 20 minute walk to venue. Room was clean and tidy and we went for the full breakfast which was up to the usual premier Inn standards. Would recommend this hotel
M. R.
Many times in past I have been in Premier Inn hotela - never had any problems, always clean and cozy rooms, nice stuff, no problem... I can only recommend Premier Inn - doesnt matter which place
D.
Had a pleasant 2 nights stay, the room was nice and clean, breakfast and dinner was good and all staff friendly, approachable and provided great customer service.
N. U. S.
Stayed there for one week. Comfortable rooms very cheerful, cordial and forthcoming staff. The location was ideal Every thing was accessible .
O. S.
Clean rooms
Nice bath
Good price.
Windows not to open.
Next Metro distance 300m. (Aldgate east)
Silent nights.
Super für City Trips
S. M.
I'm always greeted by very friendly staff at the bar, and my drinks are cold everytime, they are cheaper than all the other places in the area. Clean toilets.
J. T. D.
Staff are all incredibly kind and great food.
M. T. M.
We had an excellent stay at this hotel. always find Premier Inn rooms really good but what made this hotel different was the staff, they went above and beyond and were super friendly.
S. H.
It's another premier Inn. Rooms were large and clean. Standard premier Inn beds and TV selection. The restaurant and bar are being rebuilt so can't comment except I didn't get my bed time pint!
S. H.
Good hotel close to the aldgate east tube, 5 minute walk. Only down side quite noisy if you have a street view room. Hotel team very friendly and helpful.
H. T.
We are in the hotel at the moment. I must say this is the best hotel we ever stayed in London. Room, bed, bathroom, location, hotel staff everything is just perfect!! Thank you for this experience!! Greetings, Hanna & Stefanie from room 622 :)
S. S.
Clean and friendly place. Self booking in kiosk was a new thing for me but great idea. Breakfasts were great but you had to wait a few minutes to be seated
M. W.
Staff were more than happy to help lovely clean and tidy hotel food was excellent. Well done to all there and a special thank you to Leanne on reception.
J. B.
Lovely modern premierinn with helpful friendly staff.great location for us as had booked to visit the skygarden and towerbridge which were within walking distance. Sainsburys local round the corner was useful too as was pizzaunion at the end of the street. Would definitely stay here again
N. P.
Excellent location and price. Staff were very helpful and room was clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the breakfast as well.
L. M.
Great location, lots of foodie places nearby. Staff were very friendly, I was trying to study and the walls were quite thin, I could hear people in the room next door, so l am dropping one star for that
E. S.
Really nice rooms and super comfy beds. Not enough staff, cards given from self check-in don't seem to work in the lifts properly.
D. C.
Professional staff in the hotel. Another perks of the hotel is the Amazon locker - Really bringing a lot of convenience to pick up stuff bought online through Amazon UK.
H. R.
Had a great stay at Premier Inn. Our concierge, Tommy, was extremely kind and helpful. Good staff is what I look for and because of Tommy, I would return to this location
B. S.
I love this place. Clean, comfortable and pleasant to stay. The location is perfect and transport connections are at walking distance. I highly recommend it.
O. C.
Good central location. Quick and easy check in. Wasn't a queue and there was a rep just in case help was needed. Room was clean and tidy. Just what you want really.
M. G.
The beds are comfortable as you would expect. Some staff are more friendly and helpful than others. Good location though as it is easy to get to places
D. D.
The rooms are spacious, cosy and very quiet. The barbecue place next to the lobby had great steak and burgers.
C. B.
Great affordable budget hotel in prime location. Five minutes walk to two tube station (Aldgate and Aldgate East) plus Brick Lane is fifteen minutes away and plenty of other restaurants within a couple of minutes.
n. m.
Comfortable bed, quiet. Really enjoyed my stay. Was disappointed that the breakfast bar was closed for renovations
E. P.
Nice hotel. Great location, lovely big rooms and good service at reception. One of the best premier inns I've stayed at.
T. C.
Excellent hotel, very quiet, nice location, friendly staff and all rooms have air conditioning.
P. G.
If I was only judging the rooms I would've give it 4 stars. However, the room that I was in it was quite dark, there was no mobile coverage (hotel not to blame) but the broadband was really really poor
L. W.
Great location for tube travel, lovely staff on reception and in the restaurant. Modern and clean rooms. Definitely recommend.
M. R.
Nice and clean plus pretty good food. Aircon in room. Arrived a little early but found me a room that was ready.
A. R.
Very comfy bed with selection of different pillows, great air conditioning (30°C outside made that necessary), very nice staff, free tea and coffee making facilities on the room
K. W.
Had a meal and cocktails in their restaurant last night, staff very friendly. Breakfast great too
P. C.
Really attentive staff, nice place, good value. Better than hotels I have stayed at costing three times as much.
B. !.
Really nice hotel!! Nice friendly staff with lovely rooms, located in a great spot for easy access to shops, bars etc!!
M. L.
Friendly customer services, but room never get warm no matter you put the temperature high or low! I will recommend the place and I will go back again and hope that heat will work:)
P. G.
Nice hotel, recently refurbished. Good rooms and facilities. Food in the restaurant could have been better though.
D. M.

K. D.
Very comfortable rooms/beds. Great breakfast! Helpful employees.
A. L.
Brilliant location, fantastic breakfast, great facilities comfy beds and lovely staff. Always stay at Premier Inn for leisure and business purposes.
W. B.
This pertains to the Premier Inn South in Cardiff, Wales. After the host of the Airbnb I had booked flaked out and left me and my wife alone at midnight in a strange city on the street with no place to go, a lovely local couple took pity on us and showed us the way to the Premier Inn. The gentleman at the front desk spent almost an hour calling every single local hotel to try to find us a room. Even though there were none available, I was so grateful to him for going the extra mile. When we someday return to Wales, we will absolutely stay at the Premier Inn.
h.
I love this hotel! Except for last time my sister had a bumpy bed. That's why I gave it 4/5 stars.
B. B.
Nice hotel chain. You get breakfast, clean bed with a comfortable bed. A modern bathroom.
P. G.
Good bed, clean rooms, and quiet outside. Depending on the price it can be a very good place to stay.
P. J.
Much improved from my last visit. Food and accommodation very good and better than many other more expensive hotels.
F. F.
It was a great overnight in London, the location was quiet, room was everything you expect from a Premier Inn, breakfast was busy but there was plenty of food.
I. L.
We checked out the new steakhouse restaurant and it was absolutely fantastic.
Highly recommended. Food made to the highest standards. Opens in november.
N. G.
Good hotel was quiet and the breakfast was reasonable.
Small wardrobe so very little room for clothes if you are staying for multiple days.
G. P.

Excellent service and facilities. Walking distance to center of City of London as well walking distance from River Thames, Tower Bridge, London Bridge, Liverpool Street Station and The famous Bricklane with all the restaurants and bagel shops.
Y. T.
Specious rooms, great location. The food was very good in the restaurant. Only improvement would be for the food to be served quicker
B. S.
The staff made our trip much easier! They were always friendly and helpful!!!! Thank you so much for making our vacation perfect!

N. B.
Great location with tube station just minutes away and good bus links. Room is comfortable and quiet.
T. S.
Pretty standard premier Inn. There was a weird scum on my tea when it was poured, perhaps a dirty kettle? Otherwise a pretty decent place to stay, just a little character less
G. L.
Very modern with big rooms, decent views from some, restaurant and bar. Friendly staff too.
A. D.
