R. E.I've stayed here 4 times on the same weekend each year to attend events at Alexandra Palace. Not in the most attractive of areas by a long shot but its a very welcoming and clean and tidy hotel. With a great breakfast buffet on offer.
This time, I'm sorry to say, was the worst visit of all though. No staff to serve or open the bar in the afternoon.
G. M.Standard premier inn Hotel, clean and good covid measures in place, staff friendly and attentive and helpful. Decent breakfast too .Plus a very good well stocked bar with reasonable prices for London.
N. S.Friendly, helpful staff. Able to leave our bags until we could check in when we got back later on. Room was clean, comfortable bed, no noise from outside heard despite being near a main road. Overall excellent :) almost didn't book because of reading quite a lot of recent poor reviews but glad we did as it was nothing like any of them I read.
R. B.The hotel is fine. Decor is a little tired but rooms clean and bed was comfortable. Tamara at reception was a sweetheart and changed our room for us because the lock was broken. She was so pleasant and helpful.
Breakfast isn't great in the hotel. Other options nearby are a better bet.
G. G. G.Really Friendly staff - Very Clean room and good Breakfast . Perfect base for seeing London with Overland/Underground station not far away. My only suggestion is better road signs to the Hotel once you enter the industrial complex as the sat nav directions will take you round the complex and not straight to the Hotel.
G. G.A little bit tired and dated. Friendly staff, the corridors and lift area had a pretty bad smell. Rooms were clean and tidy but little bits of cosmetics needed fixing up.
L. W.We attended at the weekend to attend ABGT at the Drumsheds. It was in close proximety to the venue and in quiet area in an industrial estate.
On arrival the staff were polite and our room was spacious, clean and tidy.
Issues we had were that there was zero hot water during our stay resulting us in having to have almost freezing cold showers. We also attempted to have a meal on our first night but was told that virtually everyone on the menu was going to be an issue as they didnt have anything in stock such as pizza bases, burger buns etc and being that it is essentially pub grub there wasnt many options for us to have.
Our room also appeared to be uncomfortably warm to sleep in. Stated there is aircon in room but given that lowest temperature it goes is 19°C it did virtually nothing to cool the room down. We ended up having to buy a fan from the argos across the road.
Gave the three stars simply because the location was convenient for or venue and that the room was clean and tidy and that there was free parking.
Would have rater higher if didnt have issues listed.

Pro's:
Good amount of parking spaces.
Can't hear the high level of traffic at all from hotel room.
Hotel itself is ok, though may need a refurb in a few years.
Con's:
Hotel is run by kids that aren't at their post most of the time.
I've seen people walk off and cancel their meals because staff took too long.
Restaurant bookings need to be made prior or they turn you away.
Food is a coin toss, pizza was divine, bbq chicken tasted more like egg.
Most of my rooms 'wooden' surfaces was peeling off.
Result: For an overnight business trip its fine but don't book a holiday here. MANY improvements to be had here.
B. W.Solid 4*. Friendly staff, but there isn't enough of them. The phone is never answered, and when I arrived it was clear why. Looks like there are only two on reception for a 100 room hotel...
Hotel itself is pretty good, but starting to show wear and tear. Air conditioning works well, keeping the rooms cool in the hot weather. Good water pressure in the shower and the bath is nice to have too!
Push for a room on the third or fourth (only has four floors) if you can. Higher numbers are likely to be quieter - with even numbers getting better afternoon sun too. We had 412 and it was pretty good all up.
Didn't try restaurant, but you do have to book ahead due to covid. There is a Tesco Extra just across the road though (2 mins walk) so we were sorted for food.
TV has Freeview but no apps (so can't login to our Netflix).
Beds comfortable.
Clean rooms, but communal areas (such as lobby) are not so clean.
Free parking with heaps of spaces.
M. S.Trust ur sat nav..... it looks like your heading into an industrial estate at first.... but then you will see the hotel!
R. O.This hotel is an ok branch as the hotel windows dont open their is aircon but its nice to have some fresh air in the room most of other branches ive been to windows open. Also i had no reception or Internet on my phone i think due to location of the branch. Their is a free WiFi but that waz no help 😣 their a payable wifi £5 for 24 hours but i didn't try it.
J. A.Easy automated check in, staff very helpful, our bathroom appeared to have had a leak before and this had not been painted around the skirting. Easy parking and if required charging points are available. Would definitely stay there again.

j. a.Modern Premier Inn with beds that seemed more comfortable than normal. The food in the restaurant was well cooked and tasty, one of the better Thyme restaurants. Although the restaurant was not busy at the time. Rooms have large screen TV's but the channels were all mixed up and reception was awful, could have been just my TV though. Rooms have air-conditioning and you cannot open the windows. All in all not a bad hotel.

D. M.We came to Edmonton from Bristol, as we were going to a wedding. We met Stephen and Diane at Reception. They were exceptional. We came in the evening and even tho we thought it was a bit late. the waitor Daniel took all our menu orders and didn't right them down and didn't make a mistake with the orders! The meal was so delicious
He has such a great memory it's amazing! as it was quite a lot of us.
The breakfast was great, thank you Marina an excellent service.
We would highly recommend this place.
Only thing needed is better signage once your almost there, however they did explain why. Thanks again

Z.Fantastic fast working people but short of staff in kitchen only one cheef doing a best but very big minus for owners waiting for dinner every day 1 hour don't anderstant why owners let people working that hard when is plenty of customers and only one cheef owner should be work in kitchen to help them is hartless everything else is perfect
N. G.Arrived at the hotel two days ago (Sunday, 19) to a greeting by friendly staff. I had requested early check in, and they did their best to accommodate me. I received a "Disability Access" room: bed and furnishings are lower. The large room is well lit and clean. It gets cleaned every afternoon. The bathroom is massive and has railings in the stand up shower. The double bed is spacious and incredibly comfy. This UK chain is famous for their unlimited buffet breakfasts. The food is a bit pricey, but diners have many choices between the hot and cold areas. Patrons open their room door with key cards. Location can be difficult to find, if you do not use satellite navigation. 24 hour Tesco supermarket is next door. I would be pleased to stay here again.

D. T.Even though check in is after 14:00, I arrived at noon in the hopes that there will be a room ready. The receptionist quickly found a room for me, and I got to check in two hours early.
The room itself looked a little used. There where spots on the carpet and a small hole is the ceiling. A couple of the lights didn't work and some of the towels where a little dirty.
But overall a fine hotel room considering the price. The bed as pretty good and I had no problem getting a good night sleep.
The staff is also friendly and helpful.
Only thing that was a major con, was the location. Near a busy road (which you don't really hear from the room) and located in mostly industrial area.
But overall a fine experience.

T. J. H.Rude night manager...wish I could remember his name. And watched them as he was highly disrespectful to his security officer. Wouldn't choose this hotel again! The 3 stars goes to the man in charge of breakfast, food was great and the chef in charge was always around asking customers how their food was. My room was also quite nice. Honestly that night manager ruined the whole experience!!
A. P.The area around this new hotel is not wonderful. It's on a rather run-down-looking industrial estate so you don't come here for the view, although the immediate area has been planted with trees which when grown bigger will enhance the surroundings somewhat. However, once inside the door, you're in a very clean and peaceful environment. The staff are cheerful and helpful and appear to enjoy their work. The remote control for the TV in my room malfunctioned but was dealt with speedily and efficiently by the young lady in reception. I only had breakfast, not lunch or dinner, but the restaurant was clean to a high standard and the food well presented. Although the windows are not designed to open, which I was dubious about, the air conditioning in my room worked well day and night and the bed was comfortable and fresh. I didn't see any dust or dirt during my stay and was treated well by all the staff I came in contact with. I can recommend this hotel without reservation.
K. *.We stayed here for 6 days. It was the best hotel we’ve been to. The hotel staff are so polite, kind and helpful. You don’t feel like a burden when you have any problems or requests. The cooking staff are amazing. Their food is amazing and creative. The bar had reasonably charged drinks. Overall it’s a wonderful experience. We’re going back there next week.
A. K.I'm never disappointed by premier inns and this was no different. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, bed was comfy and shower was powerful. I read whilst in the room that if you're a female travelling by yourself they won't put you on the ground floor or at the end of a corridor, and indeed I wasn't. I guess it's little thoughts like this that make a difference. Happy with the breakfast too!

Reception, room, and generally.
Excellent service from Stephen on reception. This gentleman made sure everything was alright for me in my room, and checked I was ok even as I unloaded the car. He was polite, professional, going the extra mile.
For me, Premier Inn rooms are above basic and for the price a good standard: spacious enough, double bed, comfortable, clean. All staff except one very helpful and polite. I was pleased in this respect with the hotel.
Restaurant waitress.
What did let things down was the waitress in the restaurant. Things were too much of a bother for her. Before I had sat down she wanted to know my drinks order and I had not even been given the menu. She was all rush, rush, rush. I could not understand it - it was a calm evening, they weren’t busy. It tensed up the situation - not the best for being relaxed enough to eat. Even when it came to ordering food she wanted to know what I wanted for starter, main, AND dessert all in one go at the same time. She rushed off before I could complete my order - so I had to call her back to tell her about an additional side that I wanted. She let the side down. Everyone else were wonderful.
J. C.As you would expect from Premier Inn, room clean and quiet. Only let down was the bar was closed when we returned from the west end it was only 23:20 and the drinks machine for a soft drink was not working. Food was also excellent. Overall great value.
S. A.We are currently staying at this premier inn tonight and so far a little disappointing. There seems to be a severe lack of towels, we only have 1 bath towel and one hand towel for a family room!
And the sparse towel syndrome seems to have spread to the tea/coffee making facilities, hope breakfast in the morning can help bring back up to expectations. We (as a family of 4) stay at premier inns a lot and usually can’t fault them.

Only problem was at 11.20 (checkout is at 12) I was taking my bags to my car but when I tried to get back into my room to get the last of my bags my key had expired. Luckily my friend was still in the room to let me in
T. H.Comfortable and quiet, parking was not a problem even when returning late at night. Staff all friendly, helpful and efficient. Fantastically cooked steak in the restaurant and breakfast was good and plentiful.

J. C. (.This is one of the newest Premier Inn with super fast check in. The staff are all super and very friendly. The communal areas a very attractive with lots of great setting options for eating or just sitting down with a drink from the bar.
The rooms where a great size and provided everything you needed for a short stay with them. The rooms included two types of pillow and plenty of towels. Also proved was a nice sized TV with external input options for your personal laptop or other devices. The hotel also provided free wifi, and although a little too slow for music or video streaming was perfect standard web browsing and checking your emails. They do provide a higher internet package if you require a better connection.
Overall a well maintained hotel with great staff and perfectly suited rooms.
M. S.Room was nice but the service was terrible. Waited over 2 hours to get a seat in the restaurant, reason told was it was fully booked to then. We went to the bar and watched as hardly anyone came in. Most seats were empty all night and we think there were only 20 covers done. An hour into our wait we asked why there were so many empty seats to be told the kitchen is too small for the amount of chairs. Have you ever heard such a lame excuse. We all think they are under staffed and with the attitude of the manager it's not hard to see why. Having got our seat after 2 hours it took another 20 mins before they took our order and it was nearly 3 hours total wait before we got our mediocre dinner.

G.Great parking, clean rooms but this hotel is let down by its poor service in the restaurant, if you have not booked a table you have an obligatory 30 min wait even if the restaurant is empty for that 30 min. Then when you are seated the time it takes to order is borderline ridiculous, finally when you are asked for your choice you find 30% of the menu is not available even though the place is virtually empty and you are dining early in the service. Worst premier inn restaurant I have used, I have used many.

S. B.I stayed here to attend a wedding. I was collected by my friend who used her satnav for directions. Fast forward an hour and we are still looking for access to hotel. All direction, including the link on their website brought us to a dual carriageway which had a high steel fence between us and the hotel. I rang the hotel for directions and they hung up the phone. Eventually another motorist we had asked for directions from told us to follow him and he led us to the door. It was 9.30 pm when we checked in and we were starving. Restaraunt said last orders at 9.45 and closed at 10pm. We were told the restaraunt was already closed. The barman organised a pizza and only pepperoni was available. We were charged £10 which I thought was pretty steep as it wasnt a very big pizza. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were pleasant. Breakfast was buffet style and food was poor quality. Cereals tasted like budget brands. The windows dont open which left the room stuffy and we woke up with headaches as a result. The hotel is in an industrial estate which was very dirty. We left to go to Tesco across the road and this id accessed via an overhead footbridge. The area surrounding the hotel including foot bridge was very dirty with rubbish everywhere. I would not feel safe arriving at night by foot. Other friends staying at hotel for same wedding said they had similar problems finding it by taxi. The hotel needs to be properly signposted. Although clean and welcoming , this is relativly new hotel so I dont know what it will be like in a few years. I wouldnt go out of my way to stay here again
C. J.In a real dodgy location surrounded by busy carriageways, this has a Thyme restaurant. The hotel staff can be quite standoffish, self check in is most definitely encouraged. Rooms are new style and very clean, windows cannot be opened, quite often a whiff of cigarettes can be sensed. All said, brilliant if you are working at Coca Cola Edmonton, 3 Minute walk, no need to move your car.
P.Hotel is what is expected corporate, clean and has goid sized beds and rooms with TV and Tea making facilities. Good shower. Restaurant serves breakfast which is first rate for the price. Evening meals and Bar is also available. Hotel car park is surrounded by secure fence and CCTV and well lit. All good. Hotel is right next to North Circular so good access to Road network and nearby Supermarkets. For some strange reason some hotel residents walk around in High Viz and even spotted one wearing his Hard Hat inside the lobby area. hotel is frequented by Builders and Car Park was full of White Vans etc. but I had no issue with this, but may put some off staying

It isn't easy to find as its on an industrial estate. The receptionist "Naz" was exceptionally helpful and proffessional.
My advice is to put the address ...Avery road ....into Sat nav as postcode alone will end in tears.
I would recommend though highly.

t.Nice hotel, good staff, restaurant and food, recommend booking a table, which reception staff should ask when checking in but in my experience they do not. Would be good if restaurant banned work wear as seeing bloke's coming in dusty,dirty scruffy clothing cause they can't be bothered to shower and change before eating is unhygienic. Room heater blowing out cold air so told reception who said , oh you want the heat on, well obviously it's November, had already turned up myself on room temperature control but it was set on main control to cold. If using satnav don't use post code, put in Advent Way then drive to the end of the road to find the entrance. Foreign staff but this is London so to be expected.

F. Q.Each time I stay there seems to be something which drags their score down. At the moment it's the inability of the reservations team to ever comply with simple written requests. Restaurant is still not consistently up to Thyme brand normal standards

Slap bang next to a busy flyover to one side and a trading estate on the other, but we've visited 3 times now for different events in North London and we've slept like babies!
Breakfast is exceptional, so highly recommend adding that to your stay....
A perfect budget hotel for White Hart Lane or Ally Pally.....
Y. L.Good place tp stay for people who are not afraid to take long ways to get anywhere. To central London it's a hour, to Canary Wharf it's 1:45. Positive is that there is a Supermarket right across the street and a bus stop 5min walk away.

G. D.Nice hotel as it's well kept and seems quite new and the check in manager was great however the bar and restaraunt was ridiculous with people waiting hours for food then getting disappointing results.
It's in a handy place but a bit awkward to drive to as ywou have to kind of go back on your self off the ring road so watch you don't miss it. It feels like you've taken a wrong turn but persevere!

Location wasnt the best, be warned google maps is next to useless to locate the hotel, it will only take you to the main road next to it that it cant be accessed from, but thats not premier Inns fault.

W.The room was great got cleaned everyday we did have a problem with going down for tea and one of the staff we found to be rude, we when down to have tea with no one telling us we had to book the staff at the front told us we need to book and asked if we want to book for 18 30 bare in mind it was 18 10 and that they could fit us cos they had ten people coming! The restaurant was massive and could of fit us anywhere she didn't say you can wait at bar or nothing we did that yourself we sat at the bar and then another member of staff came to us immediately and said he can if us in now when said we can sit anywhere we got the same women who told us she could let us to waiter for us and we was sat down for two mins and she asked if we are ready to order and then again in two mins after that we felt rushed and a pain for the staff even when we ordered and said we wanted started she didn't look happy about it we got our food and was very nice and left around 19 30 and the restaurant was still empty with loads of tables untaken

M. C.Location very convenient for the London to Cambridge cycle. Hotel a pretty much standard Premier Inn. The setting is basically in an industrial park, so don't expect much nearby. There is public transport (London Overground) but the walk isn't that straightforward.

Wi-fi is free, however in this hotel located just north of the North Circular which will confuse your Sat Nav as you pass it on your left. You need to keep left at the next roundabout and 'double back' to reach the hotel at the end of Advent Way.

A good night's sleep in a comfy bed and a decent TV to while away a little time. The area round the hotel has industrial units and retail outlets just over the North Circular. There are excellent public transport links within a couple of minute's walk. Beware, that Angel Road train station is not served frequently, and no services stop during the working day. Not a problem though since the 192 bus gets you to Tottenham Hale for the Victoria Line in 10 minutes or so from the stop by Tesco Extra. Most of Central London is only 45 minutes away. The hotel also had electric car charging points in the car part if I recall.
