A. H.
The hotel was luxurious and relaxing, the staff was very helpful and supportive, the restaurant was okay, and the breakfast buffet was moderate with limited options for people with restricted food requirements. We wanted a meat free day on the first day and requested a Veg Pizza impressed with taste; however, wanted to try steak the next day, it was not impressive, will not be trying next time at all, I guess it can improve a lot.
Overall, good hotel at decent price.

A very clean, comfortable and up to date premier Inn. Masks worn by everyone, felt hygienic, good social distancing messages in place. and had no concerns.
Good location in the middle of London - in between the city and West end. Neither perfect for either but a great location to travel to both (if that makes sense) that is just where Farringdon is... In the middle.

We are family of 5 and booked 2 bedrooms online. We stayed from 26/12/21 to 30/12/21. The staffs here are really polite, kind and helpful. Our bedrooms - Clean and tidy!
It was beyond my expectation. We would definitely stay here in the future!

Premier Inn are fairly basic with no frills but ... they are clean, the beds are excellent and the prices unbeatable. They are perfect for business or when you just need a hotel room as a base. Excellent choice for a short stay but the lack of frills (and space) might grate for a longer stay. But for business these are my go-to chain

This was my first experience at a Premier Inn and I thought it was amazing! The staff at check-in were very welcoming, kind and professional. The room was comfortable and very clean (on the ground floor so was a bit noisy outside but they were fully booked so I understand they couldn’t give me a room higher up when I asked). The mattress could’ve been more comfortable but the bedding was so soft and clean and the pillows were great. First hotel shower where the water didn’t leak all over the floor so that was a huge plus.I was also highly impressed with their left luggage service - made my trip to London SO much easier!

A busy place - was fully booked when I stayed for 2 nights. Rooms were slightly better than I've found for other Premier Inns in London. Same as rooms outside London. Modern, decent sized shower with glass doors. Comfy chair in the room along with the usual chair and desk was a nice bonus given I didn't manage to secure one of the plus rooms. Staff fairly friendly - I suppose as expected in London, they are keen to rush through people checking in.

Probably the cleanest and nicest Premier Inn of London. Some of the staff could use a little attitude adjustment considering they work in the hospitality service, but we all have bad days so I get it. Nice place. The restaraunt and bar area is huge and clean as well.
L. A.
This place is a huge maze! Room was exactly as you would expect from a PI. Functional, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast although they were struggling to keep up supplies. I think lots of Xmas party groups had stayed and everyone was having a late breakfast! The self check in is great, really quick and simple although the way the entrance is organised it did look like the machines weren't available.

As a London base for work a Premier Inn is always a good option.
The bed was comfortable, and the shower excellent.
The only negative was that they ran out of hot water for breakfast somehow! Which given every room has a kettle seemed very bizarre!
Otherwise staff were friendly and helpful!
H. M.
I had a wonderful! All staff were extremely polite and hospitable.
Well Done Shahan on your first day, you checked out me out very smoothly.
You will prosper amazingly,
Thank You again, Premier Inn Farringdon

New hotel, spotless and you wouldnt believe this was a premier inn.. why the 3stars.. room are like saunas. Even if adjusted to lowest setting or even switched off, no break from heat - and its February, cant imagine what it will be like in summer. Only reason i wouldnt stay again, shame really.
M. G.
A very well located hotel. Stayed here for 4 nights in a Premier Plus room. Really enjoyed the stay, all the staff apart from 1 were all very welcoming friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us.
The 1 that took the edge off the whole visit seemed to find everything hard work and didn't seem to like dealing with us at all.
We had dinner in the restaurant and everything was perfect, all well cooked and well presented. Breakfast was also well cooked and the service was good. The bar is decent enough place for a drink as well. Prices are reasonable. 2 double vodka and cokes £11.20
I would stay here again despite the one negative aspect and I would recommend the hotel to stay in.

This is an excellent hotel with Premiers Inn’s renown comfortable Hypnos pillow top beds. It is a brand new hotel in a
juxtaposition between existing buildings. The bathrooms are fully tiled and immaculate with powerful hot showers. There is tea and coffee making facilities as well a hair dryer and softer pillow options for back sleepers. There is a 42” LED tv in the bedroom. The heating is excellent and the restaurant and bar spacious. I enjoyed their legendary full English breakfast for £10.95 with as much as you can eat. The hotel is located in the City of London close to St.Paul’s cathedral and Farringdon main line station and tube. The south bank and Tate Modern as well numerous restaurants are close. Thoroughly recommended
L. H.
Super location. Clean and modern. Staff incredibly helpful. Bar and restaurant area good quality. 9am breakfast very busy so choose timings wisely.
M. P.
Asked for our room to be cleared, not done, each morning the hot breakfast was cold, the fire alarm went of at 5.55 on Sunday morning.
So not great, stayed at many premier inn's over the year this is the worst 😕
You got the expression staff unable to cope.
Maybe other inn's in London are much better but we were very disappointed 😞.
G. B.
Reasonably priced, good customer service with an added bonus of bag storage. Breakfast in the onside restaurant was OK. Nice and close to several tube stations, making it an ideal place to stay when visiting London.
B. H.
Book in straight forward and staff friendly. Booked Family room for 3, certainly not the size shown in the picture, more a double with an extra bed squeezed in and the fact only 2 cups, 2 tea bags, 2 packets of sugar etc so we all couldn't have a drink in the morning, plus one big and one small towel for all of us. If you're going to use doubles as Family rooms then perhaps set room up with the extras to cater for the number of occupants. We managed as it was only for 1 night. Breakfast was bob on, plenty of choice and cooked items hot, staff made sure items replenished. We stayed as visiting the Barbican Theatre an ideal location.
D. S.
Clean, modern. Just what you expect form a Premier Inn.
Building is a bit complex to navigate, with some interior rooms and half levels.
My room had a proper shower rather than a bath, which I prefered.
J. B.
Just as most Premier inns you know exactly what you will get. Room was nice and clean, staff welcoming and nothing was to much trouble for them. Buffet breakfast was nice and a lot of choice. Would definitely use this premier inn again when in London.
N. E.
Pleasant hotel in nice quiet location.
Premier Inn chain, offer very agreeable comfortable rooms.
Friendly service, onsite bar & restaurant.
C. T.
Hotel was lovely, very comfortable and quiet room. We stay in Premier Inns a lot and this was definitely amongst the quietest rooms even being next to the lift shaft. Beds comfy and clean.
We ate in the restaurant for dinner, food was tasty and hot. Waitress wasn't the best tho and got confused on a few things. Redeeming themselves though, I went down after dinner as my son had bad acid reflux and they have me a free glass of milk
C. O.
Lovely stay here. Perfectly situated for tube/rail. All staff were very helpful as we had some spare insulin for our type 1 daughter, they put it in the fridge for us. Only thing would be perhaps not a good idea to put families with young children (light sleepers) in a room by a lift. We did ask to move but they were fully booked and we were told that you couldn't hear anything as the walls were quite thick but we can safely say you could hear the lift going up and down! Despite this we will definitely stay again.
R. M. F.
Room was comfortable and clean and quiet. The receptionist is very helpful.
Bar and breakfast facilities very poor, long wait for breakfast and the long wait for cups/mugs.
No bar service, you better go to the pub across the road. I guess as they seem short staffed this was a consequence of Brexit?
S. C.
Lift not in use today but totally recommendable facility very quiet. Friendly welcome and comfortable twin room. Very pleased. The venue was very quiet during the night, extra pillows and the twin room included a double and a single bed.
a. c.
Stayed here as a large family group to go to a wedding. Still in the middle of the Covid pandemic we were very wary however once stepping inside felt very safe and comfortable. Hotel was spotlessly clean with plenty of hand sanitisers and a feeling of calm. Rooms very spacious and beds incredibly comfortable. Staff were really lovely, helpful and pleasant. Thanks especially to Sarah who sorted out a mix up in rooms very quickly, calmly and professionally despite the hotel being fully booked. She was a credit to the hotel.
M. D.
Brilliant location for seeing the sights. Close to St Paul's and museum of London. Felt very safe and welcome here and was very clean and comfy
E. C.
Very modern, clean and with super comfortable beds. Lots of choice at breakfast. Overall excellent value for money
J. B.
The room was great and they let me check in a little early. Had an unpleasant experience with another guest and staff weren't very interested in that, I imagine they get a lot of drunk and angry guests though so I can understand why. Lifts were broken when I checked in. There was a bar, which is a great feature for a premier inn but there was no staff down there, and no signs or anything saying it wasn't open, so not sure if I just popped in at a bad time or they were closed.
a.
Service is OK, sometimes bit slow. The rooms aren't cleaned daily if you have book consecutive days?!? Why not?!? Nevertheless if this is the case there needs to be further due diligence such as providing additional towels, toilet roll and tea if they know we are staying longer (without room service). There was no iron available when I requested. I was told it would be up in 10mins however I had to come down after waiting 40mins to be told there isn't any available?!? Poor service.... Surrounding area is good and hotel prices reasonable.
C.
Fast check in, clean room. Comfortable bed and decently priced, no complaints. No noise from outside despite being placed on a room next to the entrance and main road.
Only bad thing is the free WiFi is extremely poor, just used my 4G instead.
M. B.
Staff is helpful after you bring things to their attention. But things that are mandatory like clean shower curtain or daily room cleaning needed to be brought to the staff’s attention before it happened. Creating inconveniences for guests.
Some rooms have shower heads that needs changing due to dirt and rust.
Was kindly given a new room after requesting.
Also the new room had bathroom curtains stained with makeup.
Bedroom sheets seemed washed but had stains. So had to go down to reception and ask new ones.
Coming back to the room after a long day outside we found the room to have not been cleaned.
So again we had to go downstairs to reception and ask for it to be cleaned. (This was received as a surprise and almost did not believe that we left before the cleaning services in the morning which we did. No apologies were given)
The room was however nicely cleaned and organised by a nice cleaning lady. Making it a bit bearable.
I noticed, whenever we requested things that should be basic expectation, the staff seemed bothered that we were requesting them, sometimes not providing apologies for inconveniences.
However they made sure it was done.
a. h.
Comfortable, friendly staff and surprisingly quiet for London. Stayed here after seeing show in soho. Its a 10min £10 taxi but far quieter and premier soho doesn't have the bigger Premier rooms
K. B.
Great place to stay. Spacious, clean room, and brilliant breakfast. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
J.
Great room, good prices and breakfast is tasty. However breakfast on a weekend is too busy and they ran out of plates for 20 minutes.
C. A.
Clean, well sized rooms. Breakfast staff let this place down. Avoid half terms
K. H.
Typically comfortable Premier Inn , nice decor and pretty good location. Quiet, just across the road from St Bart’s Hospital. Good for St Pauls and Barbican. Only significant downside is not really close tube station.
E. C.
Great location clean and friendly. The only down was the lack of atmosphere in the bar as it's in the basement and the pillows are awful!
I. G.
Nice clean room, comfy bed and good shower. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location next to Smithfields Market. Would recommend.
G. M.
Lovely 2 nights away, restraunt meals nice even though some items were not available due to delivery of stuff. Staff very helpful. X
R. N.
Nice clean hotel good value for money will be back staff lovely and helpful will stay again
E. C.
Had a birthday celebration and the hotel was in the perfect location and staff were very considerate.
G.
Very quiet area. Comfortable bed. Would recommend the hotel. I did not have a meal but there is a restaurant
C. T.
The brand that you trust and the entire hotel is very accessible for all people.the rooms ensuite facilities include shower facilities suitable for wheelchair users
s.
The hotel was great, big hotel and very busy, few minor details, was told we did not need to book meals by reception a week before we went, but when we arrived on the friday (4 adults /2 children)we was told we should have booked in advance, but they were very helpful and managed to sort our meals out for the weekend ,food was lovely ,grandaughters loved the breakfast.was missing a sink plug when we arrived ,but as it was weekend and hotel was full ,no maintanance available until the monday,so was not brilliant trying to use the sink ,we did manage withouut but was annoying, the fact that the staff were all so friendly and apologetic made us cope without.as previous reviews have said ,this is the 1st premier inn we have ever stayed in where it has been so quiet inside and outside the hotel ,will definately stay here again ,lovely hotel.
M. B.
Comfy bed, friendly service, good location for our concert at the Barbican
R. N.
Lovely quite very central brilliant staff and very nice breakfast will be back soon
Z. H.
Rooms are good and the restaurant was. Amazing. Food was very decent.
A. B.
Small reception area, basement bar & restaurant. Comfy beds, very clean room. No car parking.
J. B.
Very good.
Staff friendly and efficient.
Bedroom clean, comfortable and one of the better PI's.
L. T.
Lovely hotel. It was a little chilly the first evening but comfy room all in all.
G. D.
A nice property in a good location. The welcome was friendly and helpful but the room was not cleaned properly
I. E.
Stayed here for 3 nights 12July as visiting the London sites! Have stayed pre pandemic so wasn’t sure what to expect this time.
Hotel checkin smooth and could leave our bags until room was free. Room was clean and quiet which we had asked for.
Breakfast wasn’t a buffet like our last stay but was really well organised, quick service and very generous as could order anything off the menu in any quantity.
Hotel is in a great situation to get around London.
M. B.
Very friendly and helpful staff and in an excellent location for the city . Clean rooms with a very comfortable bed , couldn't fault a thing . It's even got a good pub next-door (bishops finger) that does lovely food at a good price.
H. S.
Great location.
5mins from Barbican and St Paul's underground lines. However far enough away that it is very quiet.
Rooms are smaller than other Premier Inn rooms outside of London.
T.
Came back to my room tired and wet and nobody had made the bed or changed towels. Poor housekeeping on this occasion.
Hotel entrance feels like a sterile McDonald ordering station.
Breakfast is well presented.
Location is good. Especially if you rock up at midnight and experience the hustle and bustle of the spitifields market.
R. D.
Pretty much standard prem o
inn rooms, bit cramped but great location for this price, number 8 bus to lvrpl str station every 10 mins, short stroll to st pauls etc. 1 broken lift, a lot of lift waiting. Breakfast quality is poor for a 10er. Staff are amazing and they deserve 5 stars. Out of order vending machines. Ventilation in the room (6th floor) was very bad, with the fan on full the room still felt/smelled damp. Overall ok and happy with the price but a few little things to sort out.
G. L.
Excellent hotel in a brilliant location. If you’ve stayed in a premier inn before then you’ll be aware of their standards which are usually very good. This hotel was up to the mark and delivered a very good standard of accommodation. Staff were friendly and attentive. Well done Premier Inn
S. N.
Nice and new, decent prices at the bar. Had a good night's sleep, great location for what I needed
S. S.
Lovely friendly staff, good location, very clean, everything you could need. Thank you.
T. H.
Stayed here as it was one of the cheapest for a weekend getaway. It's a 5 min walk from St Pauls Tube and a bit longer from Barbican coming from Kings Cross. The area was completely dead being in a business area on a weekend which is why it was so cheap I assume. Works for me because I get a good night sleep.
Room was a bit smaller than it looked but had everything I needed. As a tinnitus sufferer, and in the middle of summer. The air con unit was a life saver and had a sleep as good as I do at home. The quick sign in and out is a bonus. Staff more than happy to help me with luggage storage. Premier Inn living up with expectations again. Would consider again if I make another trip down.
G. P.
Lovely clean room. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Only complaint was the room was a bit too warm.
W. C.
We used this Premier Inn to make access to Barts Hospital easier and reduce the stress of trying to hit the 9am appointment via a long train journey. We stayed one night via a booking and then extended our stay. The reception staff were delightful, the rooms clean, bright and the beds oh so comfy. Just a tip, don't walk in - stand outside and book online for the best prices. Take extra tea bags and a little milk if you want real comfort. Breakfast isn't the same under the Covid guidelines. I enjoy the bustle of selecting my breakfast with the roller toaster and selection but table service was very nice too. From here you can easily reach the Museum of London, Tate Modern and St Paul's Cathedral on foot so good spot for sightseeing.
M. H.
I usually like a Premier Inn as you know what you are getting. Only 1 lift out of 3 working, which means you are waiting forever. The free WiFi is dreadfully slow and a number of dishes in the restaurant unavailable. Also there isn't much going on around it unless you travel to Holburn.
L. B.
Excellent experience , Room superb, staff polite and helpful. Thank you
C. M.
The staff were amazing ,all of them very kind and helpful. Thank u. Hotel is in a good, safe location . Room were clean and reasonable size for London. Very good value for money. Only minus was cos of covid they dont clean the rooms daily so by the end of my trip my bin was looking like Eiffel Tower, otherwise perfect
J.
Stayed here for a night. Clean room and toilet.Close to St. Paul’s cathedral and local bus stop.If u fancy can order breakfast from here otherwise has nice options close by.Check in was given @ 1400 not 1200, don’t know why.Quiet and peaceful stay. Paid £61 for a night
A. F.
Nice hotel, convenient location and surprisingly quiet. I think we'll be back.
D. R. F.
Nice hotel. Limited menu but okay. WiFi abysmal. No chance to catch up on work. Restaurant is in the basement and no, or very restricted phone signal. So you can't access the WiFi and you can't tether your phone - waste of time having a "work area"
S. J.
Nice hotel with good restaurant and bar on lower floor.roomwas spot on and food tasty in restaurant
c. h.
Comfortable room, nice breakfast, friendly staff
N. M.
Editing following our 2 night stay. I have to say every single member of staff were fabulous, so different from the last Premier Inn I stayed at in Edinburgh. The team here are really on the ball with customer service, really attentive, make immediate I contact and genuinely happy to help you. Aaron checked us in but every member of staff we engaged with were great! Hotel itself is clean and our family room spacious enough. Location was perfect for a tube ride in but if you don't mind a nice walk, it isn't too far from central London.
L. K.
Very nice and clean hotel. Stayed here New Year night. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. Checked in fast and was able to answer all the questions.
Rooms and hall are tidy and well decorated.
Restaurant in the basement was very neat. Waitress Victoria was very helpful and kind. Gave best suggestions on food and drinks.
Food itself was tasty but a bit expensive.
Breakfast was also good. Standard selection of continental meal, served fresh and warm. Good selection of drinks
This was my best stay in London so far. Thank you very much Premier Inn!!!
G. A.
Looking at the Old Bailey, lovely location, really nice Hotel 👍
D. B.
Newish Hotel. Easy to find and well located to explore this area of London. We were attending a wedding in Clerkenwell, 10 min walk away and £100 cheaper per night.
W. K.
Stayed here few times, rooms are always spotless with very comfortable beds. Good air conditioning. Overall the hotel is modern and very clean. Will definitely stay again in August. Only improvement could be friendlier staff, last time I stayed in 2019 the staff was amazing, very welcoming and helpful. This time it felt like the reception staff don't want to be there.
J. N.
First - great staff. Thank You for Your smile and help. there were no problem form them to solve. Second - great location. Third - hotel is new and very clean. Family room could be bigger, but I didn,t go to London to spend time in room, so it's not a problem.
p. c.
Room basic, food was OK, it was clean, staff were lovely, we did have to wait an extra 2 hours for our room to be cleaned though
G. R.
Premier Inn, you know the standard, fabulous hotel, restaurant downstairs only downside is no parking.
L. H.
Premier inn..... Clean,tidy.... done the job. Cheap for a couple nights stay in london, right by the tube!
O. I.
Superb price/quality ratio. Firstly, clean. Then they have everything that is needed, and no needless cost-creating fancy-looking luxury-pretending stuff. Staff is great too. Extending my stay second time tomorrow. By the way thanks Andi and colleagues for all the care around.
Update after a month: They have also helped me with a non-refundable booking during the lockdown. When suddenly the lockdown arrived they have agreed to amend some of my days. Thanks.
C. C.
Great place to stay with a fab buffet breakfast. Central London but unbelievably quiet at night. Usual Premier Inn high standards of cleanliness and comfort mixed with nice touches like chilled drinking water available at reception, either plain or lemon and lime infused. Unobtrusive staff but attentive to customer requests when required. Great base from which to explore London. We will definitely use again.
M. R.
An excellent place to pass a weekend in London. It is in easy reach of central London, but out of office hours is very quiet. The hotel is comfortable and covid precautions very thorough
D. B.
A nice hotel in a good city location that is quiet , it is reasonably priced and the rooms are nice. There is a good buffet breakfast £11
E. W.
Good. Needs more people on Reception. Rooms very clean.
S. W.
I was really impressed by the welcome and the two staff in reception. We stored luggage here and used some of the facilities, but didn’t stay.
However I was impressed enough that the next time I am in London for work I will be staying here.
It’s a lovely quiet location and a nice modern Premier Inn. Well worth checking out.
v.
Bit expensive on a weekend but in line with Central London, everything squeaky clean as expected from Premier
R. J. R.
Brilliant hotel and conveniently situated not far from Farringdon station. Staff always on reception with a warm and friendly welcome. Rooms are a good size with great shower. Breakfast could be improved. Mine wasn't that hot having been left under lights and my juice glass had lipstick on it. Despite this I would definitely stay there again but probably have breakfast elsewhere.
A. M.
As soon as I walked into the hotel I was greeted by very friendly and professional staff! The premier plus room was definitely worth the extra as it had everything you would need and it was also very clean and presentable as a whole. The breakfast in the morning was also great and again the staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning to stay on my next trip to London.
T. O.
Staff super helpful and friendly, very clean and modern.
G. A.
Great location and comfortable bed, but duvets are far too heavy, pillows too soft and the air con doesn't work properly
M. C.
The breakfast is very limited at the moment and I have had better in a B&B in york. A one way system in operation and plenty of hand sanitizer. Staff are lovely except for a tall skinny guy who's name I forgot to look at. Stayed here for 2 weeks
M. B.
Good hotel easy to get to in the heart of London. Hotel staff were very friendly and gave great customer service during my stay. The snacks and drinks in reception were a nice touch. The room was clean and no noise from other guests.
c. p.
I like the room. It's clean, the curtains block the light and it was quiet. The beds are decent, but nothing to write home about. No small bottles of shampoo or body wash but all in one in a dispenser. The air-conditioning goes down to 19 degrees which was a bit warm but not horrible.
Housekeeping did forget our room the first day which is odd and might say something about their organisation.
Oh and their free WiFi is kinda really slow. You can pay extra for faster internet.
I did sleep good here so I would come back.
S. H.
Clean. Friendly. Easy to check in and out. Simple breakfast
B. K.
Clean, comfortable room with good breakfast. Staff seemed happy and were friendly and professional. Kept smiling although there was an issue with some children setting off fire alarm and sprinkler system causing inconvenience to guests and staff not to mention the police and fire brigade and parents just walked off!
T. L.
Yeah it's got a good and and restaurant but if you're disabled and want to use the lift you've got to ask for access. I can understand them not allowing access to the rooms, but to a public restaurant/bar, downstairs, then it's a bit wrong. Unless of course they only want the place for guests, then the receptionists / waiting staff / bar staff should inform you as such. Doubt we'll go back as it's embarrassing having to ask to use the lift. Just because of a disability. Not good. Shame really as the bar is quite pleasant
R. R.
The staff and service here were amazing. Easy to assume a Premier Inn in London would be a impersonal hotel - far from it. Great service and through all 3 days were always checking everything was OK. Would highly recommend.
We will certainly use this Hotel for future London stays. Thank you.
V. A.
Clean and cosy place. Stayed in a family room which was a lot bigger than expected. Comfortable stay, will definitely return in the future.
H. J. W.
All staff were efficient, wonderfully caring and kind. Brilliant customer service which was really appreciated. Food was consistently good. Rooms were excellent. Nothing bad to say about our stay.
M. B.
Staff! Always friendly. We were up in London because son was having a major op at St. Barts, and the young man (sorry, didn’t get his name, but had frizzy/curly hair) behind desk always asked after him. Cleaners for rooms were also friendly and helpful when we needed things for room.
No complaints about anything else to do with our stay. If management read these reviews, please give the staff a thank you from us.
S. P.
Very clean and good value for money. I will come again!
C. M.
Fantastic hotel in a great location. Staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel is clean, well appointed and all nice and new! Rooms have everything you need and are easily accessible. Lots of nice places to eat nearby and a choice of tube stations, bus stops and taxis. Short walk to lots of london attractions such as St.Pauls Cathedral.
M. K.
I've stayed for a week in Premiere Inn deluxe room. The bed was very comfy. Always clean.
Food in hotel restaurant was tasty although the menu was the same every day.
S. B.
This hotel is a good choice for budget conscious travelers. It's not in a particularly tourist friendly location, but it is not too far from the Tube. A 10-15 minute walk will have you on the Tube in no time. The hotel is new and modern, but the lobby area is really small. As are the rooms. the rooms are really, really tiny. Perfect for one person, a little tight for two people. Not advisable to have more than two people to be honest. Also, the bathrooms are tiny as well. Not much space to move around with no counter space to speak of.
I understand it's more of a European thing, but advised, this hotel does not offer any wash cloths and there are no rolls of toilet paper. Toilet paper comes in very, very thin squares. "Can you spare a square?" (c) Elaine Benes
The staff was friendly enough. We only went to the restaurant downstairs for the continental breakfast. It was average, at best. Not much value there. The free, in-room wifi was painfully slow. Slower than 3G cellular network speeds in the USA. I guess that's an effort for the hotel to encourage you to pay for the "premium" wifi.
Overall, the hotel served its purpose. It was a cheaper place than other hotels in the downtown London area, but still modern.
S. C.
Good price and nice and clean but poor sleep due to slamming doors through the night.
D. H.
Nice hotel.
Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Hotel has a very new feel and look.
Staff are great and prices reasonable.
Right by St. Barts hospital and there is a bus stop outside the doors.
Highly recommended
P. i.
Stayed here on I think the second night of it being open. The hotel is well located just a 5 minute walk from St Paul's so great for tourists, I was visiting The City so it took me about 10 minutes on the bus which stops around the corner.
The rooms are smaller than most Premier Inns with no large sofa bed instead a chair which was too large for the room was wedged in and the bathroom lacks a bath and instead has a shower. This small room layout makes me wonder why they didn't just make this location a hub hotel which is better suited to smaller room formats.
The room had no view at all and was dark due to construction 1 foot away from the window blocking out most of the daylight.
Breakfast was the usual standard buffet and was acceptable but the eggs were overcooked and the bacon undercooked. The restaurant space is in the basement and is very large compared to most Premier Inns.
If I had one issue with the hotel it was that a hotel over about 7 floors had one lift! Yup so if thats broke you are using the stairs! Also the hotel seemed fairly quiet yet it took ages for the lift most times I used it.
J. O.
The staff could not have been more helpful, the hotel was extremely clean and it was in a superb location for walking /travelling in the capital.
S. B.
Great location for exploring St Paul's and further afield. I was actually staying with a friend who had appointments at Bart's hospital and it's 3mins walk away so ideal if you need to stay.
Comfy beds and clean room. Quiet.
We didn't eat but they offer breakfast and dinner.
A. H.
Ok hotel in London center, its a good price for the location. The service in the restaurant is not good, when staying in the hotel going down for a meal and then be told you need to put your name on waiting list, while half the restaurant was empty is just insane. So we went outside to another restaurant.

We arrived at 4 to a 2hr delay before our room was ready. Also the restaurant menu was very limited . We choose to go to a local restaurant
M. N.
Pretty new. Good standard bathroom fit out - miles better than Travelodge.
Good location. We walked home from Leicester square without a problem.
Friendly and helpful staff. Great price too.
A.
Great customer service. Comfortable rooms. Looking forward to when the restaurant opens again next week.
A. N.
Excellent premier inn in lovely location. Very comfy and friendly staff. Bar staff nice and chatty. Breakfast busy but plentiful and tasty. My friend really pleased that hash browns were gluten free.
J. V.
This is a very nice place, in a perfect spot for the West End shows. They are really close to downtown London, so all the sites are within a nice walking distance. It is very quiet here, you can't even hear the noise of your neighbor's. We had kids next door to is and we never heard a peep. They asked if we were celebrating anything when we first came in. To our surprise they went out and purchased a birthday card, chocolates, and champagne! They brought it up just after we saw the West End show, so their timing was perfect! Thank you to all the team here!
F. R.
Had a very pleasant stay at the hotel during 4 days in London. Close to St Pauls Underground or buses when exploring the town. Clean and small rooms. Very comfortable beds and quiet area. Lots of construction around, but it didn't bother us, since half of London is under constructions, even Big Ben. Highly recommend this hotel and is not that pricy either. Very friendly staff as well
M. B.
Easy to find building, it is a few minutes away from Farringdon station and Underground. Checking in was easy, very friendly staff. Ice cream machines, vending machines by the entrance was very nice to see. It was essy to access lifts and get to hotel rooms. The rooms were clean and neat ♡ breakfast- absolutely amazing! It was like a fancy restaurant with an all-you-can-eat breakfast, which of course was tasty. I enjoyed my stay.
P. P.
Possibly the best Premier Inn I have visited in London. Modern, spotless, really comfortable beds and very quiet. Everyone is courteous and friendly, and the staff are attentive and professional and really go out of their way to make you stay a good experience. Nice restaurant in the basement which is well laid out and the breakfast was very good. Nearest tube was Barbican Station and we found it a safe area to return to late at night after a trip to the theatre.
G. P.
Great cheap hotel just round the corner from spitalfields market. Friendly staff and a very nice stay. The room was a good size and was very clean and presentable. Check-in and checkout were totally hassle free which made it so much easier and stress free.
J. L.
We booked 2 rooms and told check in was after 2.30. We arrived at 4.30, checked in, got to our rooms only to find someone was still in one of them supposedly cleaning it. I know only a small thing but kids colouring and sweets put in one room and not the other (kids in both rooms). Overall though the rooms were clean. Reception staff friendly.
Y. S.
This is a very good hotel. They have just recently opened and there is some construction work going on, however it does not affect the customers. It is located 10 minutes walk from the Farringdon Station.
All the facilities are there that you would expect from a premier inn. The room was slightly smaller than usual premier inns, but this is to be expected from a hotel in London.
The staff are friendly and very helpful, they go out there way to make you feel welcome.
They have the thyme restaurant, I had the soup of the day, which was minestrone soup and the sticky toffee pudding, both were amazing.
Breakfast was the normal premier inn breakfast with continental and full English available.
G. S.
Large and spacious hotel with excellent restaurant facilities. Rooms and modern and well appointed. I have nothing but positives to give based on my experience of my many stays at this hotel. Highly recommended.
S. Q.
Stayed here for two weeks recently. It’s a fairly new build hotel, so all the fitouts and furnishings are in great condition. The king size bed was extremely comfortable, I thought. Proper shower cubicle in the bathroom, not a dinky one over a bathtub like in so many British hotels. The hotel itself is very quiet - there were actually quite a lot of people staying there when we were there but we could hardly tell! It’s on a no-through road so there is no traffic noise. Couldn’t hear any noise from the nearby markets which have trucks unloading at 1-2am either. Good blackout curtains too made for peaceful sleep. The breakfast buffet is decent quality standard stuff - eggs, sausages, toast, cereal, fruit, pastries etc. Breakfast was busy at around 8-8.30 am, go early for a more leisurely breakfast. The location is good — a short walk (10 mins or less) to Farringdon, Barbican, St Paul’s or Thameslink train/tube stations, 12 or so to Blackfriars. The 46 and 56 bus stops right outside the hotel and there are several other routes a block or two away. Plenty of restaurants and cafes and pubs around, though a lot aren’t open on weekends as it’s a business district primarily. Short walk to St Paul’s Cathedral, and there is plenty of shopping at One New Change and Paternoster Square. Would definitely stay here again.
M. D.
Staff were helpful following a hickup at Check in, received complimentary drinks while they sorted it out. Place was clean, tidy and modern. Breakfast a buffet catering to different tastes.
A. F.
Good all round place. Good service. Good food. Comfortable room. Would have been better if bar was open a bit later at night as we had been to a concert and could not relax in a bar with a drink afterwards as the area around is quiet and so other bars or pubs closed at 11.00pm
A. F.
It's a premier Inn, if you don't already know what your getting you don't get out much.
B. G.
Lovely bright modern soacious new hotel. Located right next door to st bards hospital and Smithfield. Staff very smiley and helpful. The room was very clean very compact. Loved the upgraded Premier Inn. Would definitively visit again
L. J.
Great location for trains, staff amazing from minute checked in till checked out. Special mention to Bruna who was fantastic with the kids. Played cards with us! Everything you expect from the Premier Inn brand. Great beds, toiletries, set up for day brekki, I recommend this hotel for anyone going to London. We stayed April11 to 15th .
J. J.
Excellent quality of service, cleanliness, friendly staff.
S. W.
A really nice, clean new budget hotel. Although since it opened prices have shot up from £120 to £180 per night making unaffordable. Situated on a quiet back street within 10mins casual walking distance from the Barbican tube station.
T. G.
Very nice hotel. Staff are a credit to the premier inn brand, very helpful and polite. It seems to be a little quiet in the area but with farringdon tube station not far away you have plenty of options. The thyme restaurant and bar is very nice with reasonable prices
S. H.
A very nice premier Inn with a great bar / restaurant underneath. The bar is very cheap for the area it is in. The rooms are nothing special, but the beds are comfy. WiFi is none existent unless you pay and only free view channels on the TV.
H. T.
Comfortable beds and room, reasonable price
J. S.
A hidden gem, simple, stylish and safe stay here
B. W.
Very clean room. Lovely bed. Standard WiFi is super slow.
N. D.
Stayed here last week for a night, good rooms and food, great location and staff. Would very happily stay again. Someone at PI is doing a great job of recruiting and retaining people who seem happy to be working there!
S.
Very good place to stay everything modern
J. P.
Great position for transport links.
Can easily walk to West End
Room ok but on the small side
Would have 5* if bed more comfy
T. L.
Great place to say. Good location, reasonable price, professional staffs, clean and Best bed. Only small issue was shower area has half glass on side so water splashed to toilet area.
W. C.
Good place for 1-2 nights sleep. Good all-you-can eat buffet breakfast and comfy beds. Tea and coffee in rooms and Camp beds/single beds available for families.
M. S.
Visited the hotel for two nights at the end of September. Our room was in the 2nd floor facing away from the room. This contributed to the being virtually no noise from the street at night (which us impressive for a central London hotel). The one downside was being close to the city, many local shops, cafes and restaurants were closed at the weekend.
M. B.
Great location Great Hotel Great Service highly recommended 👍
D. J.
Nice place to stay clean and great staff
D. R.
Very friendly staff room was perfect for our overnight stay 2 adults and two children in a family room very comfortably. Wife even got a hug by the matradee in the restaurant for Mother’s Day.
A. D.
Space outside to illegal park while I drop the less mobile wife off. There is 1 disabled space for a limited time right outside the front door. The building is very modern, staff are very friendly, cool little sandwich bar right next door that do awesome breakfast. Can't fault it for the price.
M. K.
They have nice really nice children's products.
Y. B.
Great value for comfortable beds and a full breakfast. Friendly service. Our only complaint was a lack of pillows - some of us need two to sleep comfortably on our sides.
K. D.
Very good and central location, very nice staff, delicious breakfast and lovely clean rooms. Beds were great and there was no noise at night. Had a perfect stay!!
J. D.
Brand new hotel, clean, comfortable. Don't hesitate for the breakfast, it's cheap and there is a good choice for the Continental and English breakfast.
The reception is open all night, a real plus !
C. T.
Big thank you to the hotel team for their kind and amiable attitude. Special thanks to Shema and Florin at the reception desk for their prompt assistance. Will definitely book at Premier Inn the next time.
P. M.
Really good Premier in a great location. The area is great for transport, shopping and reading places. The hotel breakfast is really great and sets you up for a burst day. Staff is really friendly too.
D. R.
Good Location Clean Rooms
l. k.
Very friendly staff, clean room and super quick checkout
A. W.
You really can't go wrong with Premier Inn. You know what you're going to get. This particular one is really new, so nice and shiny. Clean, modern & great. The staff in particular were amazing. Highly recommended!!
L. S.
It's a Premier Inn. The breakfast is ok, the dinner looks ok but it's not great. They also have a ridiculous system where you have to book your dinner table even if the restaurant is basically empty.
J. Z.
Brand new facilities and really nice reception staff. Had a great nights sleep and an even better shower. Incredible for the price!
W. D. E. R. E.
The food is really amazing, considering you can get a meal deal with dinner and breakfast included. The staff members always try their best to help as well as make you feel comfortable and check if you are satisfied with the service.
The only reason why I did not give it a 5 starts would be the location which is a little odd to find, but this is not a fault that reflects the services. :)
L. G.
Clean. Excellent friendly staff. Affordable. Fantastic breakfast. 5 minute walk to the tube. Would highly recommend
B. C.
Excellent hotel. Super friendly staff, clean rooms. Everything you could possibly want for breakfast. One of the best Premier Inns.
C. E.
We have been visiting this Premier Inn and we can find nothing negative to say at all .We have booked to come again in August for a week
A. R.
New hotel, very well located in the heart of the City. Friendly reception staff. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Recommended.
D.
Brand new Premier Inn in VERY central location. Less than 5 mins stroll from Barbican or St Paul's underground. Possibly the friendliest most helpful staff in the known universe. My room was smallish but very comfortable with a glorious shower and a bed you never want to get out of.
B. T.
I really enjoyed my stay.
S. M.
Not a bad place to stay. Nice rooms ans comfy bed. However that bar shut far too early.
M. M.
Very convenient for Bart's hospital. Extremely clean and comfortable, and very helpful staff.
R.
Very good localization (close to the St Paul's Cathedral, Museum of London, Bank of England Museum, Tower Of London etc.), very good breakfast and coffe. Four stars for a window that cannot be opened with sandblasted glass.
M. B.
Great location. It was a Premier Inn - good standard room, clean and quiet. Breakfast was ok - not the best but adequate.
M. A.
Good hotel, clean - highly recommend for families. Good bed and nice showers. Breakfast is good and the service is very good.

Very nice! Great rooms, great breakfast, great service!! + in a very good area of the city close to everything.

Nice rooms, decent location. Some nice bars and eateries around. Bar staff didn't seem particularly used to working in a bar but w were only there for one drink.
M. H.

m. g.
Good location. Staff very friendly. I was given a room with no outside windows but the room didn't feel claustrophobic.
C. B.
Nice hotel. Very clean, friendly staff, affordable and more than you may expect for the price!!

M. R.
Great room and staff

You might find better hotels in London, bit not for the price. And not sufficiently better to justify the extra cost.

Best premier Inn I've stayed Inn, good rooms, quiet (ish), good breakfast
J. J. G. G.
This hotel is really well located in central London at the same time it’s in a quiet road. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Stayed in a Premier Plus room which was a bit more spacious and had more amenities. I consider it’s worth the difference but don’t wait for miracles. Breakfast was crowded and had to wait a while to be seated. Quality of breakfast isn’t the best thing I’ve seen but it does its job. This was the second time I’d stayed at the same hotel so at the right price it’s value for money.
W. B.
Friendly staff on reception, rooms spacious and comfortable.
Breakfast quality may not be amazing but it has everything you need

(Translated) Great hotel. Great location - close to several metro stations and a 5 minute walk to restaurants. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are clean and functional. The breakfast offered by the hotel is a real pleasure every morning: generous, varied and very reasonable in terms of price. I recommend this hotel 100%!

(Translated) New hotel with spacious rooms, television, hairdryer and heating. The full bathroom with bathtub, soap dispensers and towels. Rooms with carpet and very clean. Highly recommended for value for money. The reception staff is very polite. We will repeat without a doubt if we return to London

M. G.
(Translated) Good value for money, is a basic hotel with small but comfortable rooms, has electric kettle and coffee and tea to drink at all times. The only thing I did not like is that it has no closets to store clothes only hangers for hanging. And there is no phone in the room to call reception. Very friendly staff, and excellent breakfast!
(Original)

(Translated) This hotel is one of our favorites in London; very new and well maintained structure, excellent room cleaning. The staff is
exceptional they welcomed us with great kindness and availability. We arrived on a rainy and windy day many hours before check in, but the delightful Obama Resti made us feel right at home !!!! Very sociable and cheerful staff like Shana, Anna and Aaron themselves, I wish I could name them all, but I don't remember the names. Excellent and abundant breakfast, a few evenings we even had dinner and we were satisfied !!!! We highly recommend it !!!!!

Lo consigliamo vivamente !!!!!

(Translated) New structure. the room is soundproofed and well structured, clean, hairdryer and tea kit in the room. the windows cannot be opened and this can be a bit of a nuisance but a good air conditioning system helps to overcome it. Great breakfast!

Colazione ottima!

(Translated) Clean and spacious rooms. We were lucky because our room had a window to the outside but some rooms have an interior window, it overlooks a large corridor of the hotel. However, everything else perfect. Very good breakfast

(Translated) The hotel is very new. The rooms are not excessively spacious, but they are correct. There is carpet on the floor, but it didn't look dirty, correct.
Large bathroom with bathtub. Hair dryer Gel in the shower.
Wardrobe somewhat small but correct. Very comfortable bed with the possibility of choosing the hardness of the pillow (fantastic!)
You can make yourself an instant coffee or tea in your room.
Varied and quality breakfast. We also had dinner one night in the hotel restaurant and it is correct; hamburgers, pizzas, children's menu ...
The area is quiet, there is an Italian restaurant nearby that closes late, and a tesco express.
Well connected with several metro stops 6 and 12 minutes walk. Buses at the hotel door.
From Stansted airport with the national express line a8 you will reach the hotel in an hour and a half more or less. It leaves you 6 minutes walk from the hotel.

Free Breakfast Children, in full City Londoner .... definitely a very good choice. also highlight the great treatment received by all employees, both in reception and the restaurant. Many people speak Spanish. Thanks to John and Julian, for example, for help at breakfast. But I extend to everyone. Always they serve you with a smile and ask you they can help. You can leave luggage in if needed. Room for two adults and two just in space but clean and comfortable beds Children with wifi and Smart TV. For the price and location definitely you can not ask for more in London. Repeat.

Repetiremos.

(Translated) It was clean and the facilities were good. I made a reservation for a twin room, with one double bed and one single bed, plenty of space, and a decent sized bathroom. It was not very central, so it was cheaper than other premieres. I could walk to the subway and the farringdon train station was close. It is located in the city of London, so it was the best thing to be safe in the neighborhood, and it was easy to have a nearby tesco. The downside is the inconvenience of closing the curtain when you see the corridor right after opening the curtain. I think I can go again.

(Translated) Hotel recently renovated when we stayed so it was all as good as new. The magnificent staff, both in reception and in the restaurant. Very close to the Cathedral of St. Paul so it is very easy from there to move anywhere. Being a working area on holidays or weekend is very quiet so it is a great place if you travel with your family.

(Translated) Pleasant hotel, friendly staff, good location. Small but clean rooms. comfortable bed. A bar and a restaurant with a varied menu. But, getting only 4 ranking because of 3 reasons:
The first is that the free wireless internet is terribly slow. If you want a network that you can work with - pay another 5 pounds a day or 15 per week and get access to a wireless network that is really like this ...
The second is the bath towel fixed to the wall. So if you want to wash all your organs - a certain acrobatics is required ...
And the third and central - the rooms do not have windows open. Just like that. When we discovered this, we turned to Kavala, where the shift manager explained to us that "today we are not building more hotels with opening windows." Oh well. She probably did not really finish a degree in architecture ...
In short - the first problem can be solved with money. The second in acrobatics (carefully ...) but we could not solve the third ...
So if you are the kind of person who has to open a window from time to time, even in London, even for a few minutes just to ventilate the room, you should consider re-booking a room in this hotel.
