Excellent breakfast team. I would like to thank Luz, Maria and Lucy for being so wonderful! Always smiling, always kind and simply brilliant with children. They really know what hospitality is about. Great to see that the new members of their team (Anca and others - so sorry I don’t know their names) have the same welcoming and extremely helpful attitude. It is always a pleasure to go back there.
I wouldn’t give five stars to the hotel overall, my review is for the wonderful people of the breakfast team 😊

I'm giving 3 start because this hotel is really ropey with ceiling tiles hanging off and the whole place needing a really good make over. However saying that, breakfast was superb as always and the staff very pleasant. Thanks for the stay bit it would be good for it to be spruced back up.

I love a Premier Inn, its like the Maconalds of Hotels. Doesn't matter where you go, you know exactly what you are going to get. Except a Premier Inn in London it seems, you always pay a bit more and seem to get a bit less. The rooms are a bit grubbier, they are always a bit smaller and that is what happened here. More for less. Shame really, but it did the job. The room was quiet.
N. S.
Helpful reception staff. I was on my own so appreciated the security on the doors (you need your key card to access the rooms). Was just a place to lay my head for one night. My room overlooked the jet wash at the garage below so it was either stiflingly hot in the room or noisy once the window was opened. Tired room but clean. What do you expect for £48 a night? It was fine.
J. C.
Great position on Haverstock Hill. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The beds in Premier Inns are always comfortable. The bar could do with fewer lagers and some real brown beer.
L. B.
Thank you so much to Dwight on reception for helping me arrange for food to be sent to my Auntie who was isolating at your hotel. Without his help she wouldn't have eaten days (room service wasn’t available and she couldn’t leave her room to get food). I arranged for Uber eats to be sent to the hotel and Dwight accrued me that when the order arrived he would leave outside my aunties room. Dwight was very helpful and very friendly.
Thanks again Dwight!!

Looks modernish on the outside. The foyer looks up to date but the rooms look like they're from the 70/80's and the heating system in the rooms needs to be upgraded ASAP. Hence why they're closing for refurbishment in February 2022 I guess
S. T.
Interior inside abit dated compared to the other Premier inns, food is definitely below par aswell.
Staff are great, so helpful.
Car park can be a nightmare depending on the day you stay.
D. W.
Booked a double room but it was very small. I could only just walk round the bed and the bathroom was also very small there was only 2 plug sockets in the entire room with the TV, a hairdryer and kettle all hardwired to the wall. The plug sockets were next to the desk and not near the bed.
Be careful with the car park at this hotel it's £16 for 24 hours for Premier Inn guests however it is also used as a public car park so your lucky if you get a space.
The hotel is 5 minutes uphill walk from Belsize Park tube station (Northern Line) and is close to local convenience stores and takeaways all within walking distance.
Staff if the restaurant were friendly and accommodating, reception could be improved a bit and the lady on the desk seemed like she was in a rush even though hardly anyone was there when I checked in. You cannot just turn up to the restaurant for breakfast or dinner you need to book a timeslot with the reception. Food in the restaurant was served quickly and hot.
WiFi in the hotel was very slow and cut out intermittently.
Area was quiet and did have 2 good nights sleep.
Would stay again if I needed to, for convenience. Maybe a different room would give a better review.
Z. S.
Well located, clean, and easy to access. Had 2 comfortable nights here in a family room. It was a good access point to central, located just off the Northern Line services at Belsize Park. Hampstead is a lovely place to explore. Ideal for families as not as noisy as staying more centrally in London
L. M.
Great Location! Room was quite small compared to other hotel of the same chain I have been before. However was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was nice, check in/out was quick and easy.
A. F.
Very small room, dated and tired decor. The room and bathroom were clean, the shower was decent. The room cost was fairly reasonable for the area when booked in advance. Parking is expensive but two stations and bus stops close by.
B. C.
Great spot. We used it as our base for a London theatre trip. Watched the site on the Saturday then had a walk around hamsted heath on Sunday morning before we headed north back home.
R. G.
Me and the Missus have stopped in many Premier Inns and although not the newest this hotel has the friendliest staff I have ever encountered.
I walked from here into central London it’s all downhill and really interesting. I would recommend doing it.
Many thanks I will definitely being staying here again.
A. D.
Room ok,most premier inn the same, recommend, restaurant and bar closed quiet early,a lot of people out and about come back for a drink before bed and bar closed.no food after 9.45 and bar closed at 11. In London on a Friday night in a hotel, could have given a service for guests.
D. H.
Great check in and plenty of hand sanitizer. Rooms adequate for nights stay but staff were not all wearing masks particularly in the restaurant. I had driven my father here as he is undertaking treatment at the Royal Free and is highly vulnerable to infection at present. This hotel is booked by the hospital frequently so masks should be worn to protect guests.
Z. W.
It's okay for what we needed it for; a place to crash and sleep.
Room is tired, plug socket hanging off the wall in our room.
Beds are comfy, and extra pillow was provided in the wardrobe area which was useful! Slept like a baby!
3* as it's nothing special, and I've been to better Premier Inns, but it does what it says I'm the tin so it's ok.
J. S.
It is what it is but nothing 'Premier' about it. OK for a night but wouldn't want to stay longer.
Restaurant was nice. Didn't eat but had a drink there. Staff were very friendly overall. View from window was nice!
S. A.
Average Premier Inn, a little tired but its clean and comfortable. Staff are excellent, friendly and very helpful. The WiFi was poor.Good location is the only thing for the view at Hampstead Heath and walk into the city is all down hill.3 stops on tube from Euston, walking distance from Campden Market and o2 Kentish Town. No air conditioning, the rooms are so warm you have to open the windows to the sound of jet washing at the garage next door or to the sound of traffic. Tv I'd very old and small. Fir that location expected better. Had only 1 plug in the whole room. Lots of shops around.
C. B.
Typical Premier Inn, a little tired but clean and comfortable. Staff are excellent, friendly and very helpful. Great location....3 stops on tube from Euston, walking distance from Campden Market and o2 Kentish Town.
G. B.
Like others say. It is what it is. A place to crash. Handy for the hospital over the road.
Rooms are small but ok. Yes dated but clean.
I’d advise taking a 4-gang mains extension if you want to charge anything as not may power sockets.
Food was limited due to supply issues but that’s not PI’s fault.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
It’s my 3 time here.
An update/refurb would be great but for the price and location I’d still stay here again.
E.
My room is good. But the internet so slow that basically you don't have internet. You have to pay (£5 per day) for faster one.
p. h.
Great location but showers v poor, did not get warm, and the worst breakfast service I have experienced at a Premier Inn. Friendly staff but just couldn't get enough food in the buffet
J. M.
Clean and Comfy with friendly and helpful Front desk staff.
Only stayed one night but couldn't get the AirCon to work so was not the best sleep I've had here.
A. B.
A great location, close to tube station, 20 minutes to Leicester Square and cheap parking. What more could you ask.
M. H.
Helpful and friendly staff throughout the hotel. Room ready before check in time sorted by very accommodating reception staff. Beds extremely comfortable. Room very clean. Breakfasts good. Very pleasing stay.
V. P.
A well located budget hotel.
Friendly staff, ready to assist.
Very tired decor. Small en suite - certainly would be a challenge for the larger guest.
Conveniently located for the tube and good range of shops and restaurants.
s. b.
Ideally situated close to hampstead heath and town centre. 👍downside if you're given a room overlooking the garage it's very noisy 🙁
J. W.
Very friendly staff and the quietest stay in London I've had!
P. L.
Nice budget hotel in a great location near to Belsize Tube station. Great selection of restaurants and shops close by including great pizza at Franco Manca. It is what you expect for for a budget hotel, rooms are budget and quite small but for the price acceptable. The one big downside is the poor Wi-fi which is very slow.
H. M.
Room was a bit hot but floor fan was provided. Great value and great location.
k. h.
Good location hotel to where we wanted to be friendly staff clean rooms if a little worn in places only real complaint was not enough plug sockets in the room could do with an overhall but still decent for the money/location ohh quite expensive to park the car but thats london for you
M. D.
Lovely area, very practical. Easy to commute across London, the hotel is a bit scruffy but the area is worth it. Clean, great staff who are friendly and helpful.
M. N.
Ideally suited for the Royal Free Hospital, which was a 5 minute walk away. You have to pay for parking but at £14 overnight in London you can't grumble. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby but the in-house Thyme restaurant was reasonable value catering for most tastes. However after dining in house one evening and spotting the number of pest control traps we decided to eat elsewhere.
D. D.
Lovely clean hotel, polite staff and a great restaurant
J. W.
We stayed at the Premier Inn London for 2 nights, our room was lovely and clean as was the reception and all public areas, we had to use takeaway and room service since all restaurants are closed at this time, although we never used the tube there was a station 2 minutes away and lots of eateries near the Hotel.
I would stay here again since it's convenient for London and a taxi from Kings Cross is not expensive, in normal times it would make a good base for tourists.
g. b.
Reasonable priced budget hotel with very friendly staff that are happy to help you in any way possible, rooms are clean and tidy with a comfortable bed.
A. A.
Only thing I can fault is the cramped bathroom everything else all good.
R. R.
Only used the parking facilities but felt my car was safe there.
M. M.
Good, clean hotel with enthusiastic and helpful staff. Covid precautions were reassuring. Breakfast ample and, all round, good value for money.
S. M.
I stay for a week in this hotel every 4 months. The rooms are always very clean. Friendly staff especially the front desk. Their breakfast buffet is reasonably priced with good options in the continental and english breakfast menus; although i would love to see a selection of cheeses and maybe cold salad (tomatoes/cucumbers) served with the continental menu. Currently the continental menu is mainly made up of foods with sugar in them (except maybe the plain yogurt).
Dinner menu at the hotel is great too.
Location:
Great location. Close to Belsize Underground station (Northern Line) and Hampstead Heath (Overground). Several buses stop nearby (C11, 168, 24, 46). The Heath is walking distance. And it is a short bus or train ride to Camden Town. Theres also a nearby Budgens, Boots pharmacy and Everman Cinema. The area is full of restaurants and cafés to suit all tastes.
Would definitely recommend staying here for business and leisure purposes
J. W.
Stayed here, room has the amenities needed for a great couole night stay. Lots of necessities nearby at Belsize.
Callum saved my bacon and helped with a printout at the desk for air travel, while juggling about 3 other customers. He's a champion
a. h.
Comfortable room, hotel just needs a bit of TLC
J. H.
Great location minutes from the train station and a load of cafes and restaurants. Rooms are a bit small and ours had some kind of bleeping alarm in the bathroom and the kettle socket didn’t work. Food was great and a buffet service at breakfast.
Really friendly staff and would stay there again if visiting London.
G. H.
Not the best Premier I've stayed at , but possibly the friendliest and oldest in the chain. The bed was excellent but the meals lack lustre.
Limited fare for a person with coeliac.
P. J.
Stayed here once a year since 2014 and it's good value. Breakfast first class, helpful staff, and noise free corridors at night. Never enough tea bags and so on in the room but you can replenish them from supplies on a table in reception area.
G. C.
Staff were pleasant & helpful, but decor was disappointing......covers in restaurant were falling a part.........could do with being spruced up
R. O.
Brilliant hotel! Clean hotel, although the dated rooms need a revamp. 'Really' friendly staff that greet you with a warm welcome. Lovely food. Once update could be a jewel in the crown! Highly recommended.
A. F.
Lovely & very helpful friendly staff. Very accommodating. The normal high standard of staying at a Premier Inn very clean & nice comfy beds & good food at their restaurant. Especially loved the cooked breakfast in the morning & the lovely fresh fruit salad afterwards. Thank you 😊
R. B.
The toilet was too small for family room of 4 people. Most of the electric socket were "blank off" to avoid using very strange never seen this before. Parking charges be warn very expensive especially if your staying for longer, parking not free. However, their breakfast is very good and staff very friendly.
A. F.
Good hotel with parking (extra cost). Staff was helpful, hotel is clean. Unfortunately very small room on top floor and extremely hot. Air conditioning wasn't working properly and there was only hot air coming through. Hotel is close to public transport - bus and tube. Perfect for one/two nights stay.
J. H.
Had a really great sleep! Room was small, but what do you expect in London? The room was very clean, and staff had already checked me in prior to arrival so it was a simple key give out, which was great at the end of a long day. Air Con was amazing on a warm day, once the window was shut, only thing that let the stay down was the size of the TV, and that it was 4:3!!!
K. L.
Really great location, with several bars, restaurants and coffee shops close by. Easy access to northern line. However, corridors tired and in need of a face-lift. Rooms small for a Premier Inn, but clean. Request a quiet room, those facing away from the road are very peaceful.
K. T.
Really good customer service :)
Lady at the desk was really nice and offered any towels we needed. She asked if we wanted a room upgrade too :)
J. D.
Enjoying our stay friendly staff lovely food
P. D.
Good location to get into central London with tube station only a short walk away. Staff really friendly and breakfast was good. The hotel is well ready for a refurb though. Very tatty and tired rooms and bathrooms.
J. T.
As a Premier Inn fan, Hampstead Premier Inn is not a dissappointment. Breakfast was great, and room was clean, my husband who is very sensitive with chemical smell of cleaning agents is perfectly fine here. It is a bit annoying location for wandering around Hampstead Heath though. The walk from Hampstead Heath station ( overground) to the hotel is not very great walking around a large hospital with narrow paths with heavy traffic. This hotel is more closer to Belsize Park station (northern line) so probably better off coming from that way to avoid the traffic. There are plenty shops nearby, Budgen's is specially impressive to buy any take away food or drink for the night.
I should say TV and the bathroom was rather small compared to other Premier Inn we stayed before but that is not our priority so it did not bother us.
Hampstead station is closed on weekends so be aware if you are thinking to use the station.
G. G.
Great location, staff are very good but the place looks tired and out dated nneeds a make over
J. C.
The rooms are looking tired but I guess there is no budget at the moment. The armchair in the room was very dirty, dread to think how many germs were on it. The food was lovely in the restaurant.
N. T.
Dated rooms with very small TV which sat too low on desk so was hard to watch from bed. Wembley Park premier inn is much more comfortable and cheaper!
P. A.
Comfortable and very clean room. Due to be refurbished, as it says on a little notice. All the staff we have had contact with so far have been nice, polite and very helpfull. The only reason i have not given 5 stars is that it is a bit dated, and the doors are very loud in the nite. I would, and more than likely will be staying here again.
J. P.
Lovely staff, great food, clean rooms - what more do you need? I used to got to the primary school opposite the hotel some 43 years ago so it holds great memories for me. Also ideal when having to visit the Royal Free hospital and stay overnight. 100% happy and 100% will use again.
S. L. -. Y.
Convenient 24/7 service and close to underground station
J. P.
The hotel and breakfast were fine. Nothing wrong and a reasonable price. If anything the bedrooms are pretty small but again ok if you don't intend to spend long there. There are definitely better hotels out there but this was good enough for the price.
j. e.
Greeted by lovely premier inn staff, very friendly and promptly got into the room. The Thyme restraint looked very lovely although i can say some of the food is definitely overpriced as you can get much better quality food and meat from other restraints and even burger shacks for a much cheaper price. Drinks, fries and everything else was lovely. Morning after we left early and it was as simple as dropping off the key and leaving - no hassle.
Overall the premier inn was lovely, although the food was a disappointment for the price.
C. P.
The lovely staff on the desk made us welcome from the start. The building is a little bit of an eye sore although the furnishing inside was absolutely fine. The area was fairly quiet and pleasant. The tube station (Belize park) was very convenient and just a short walk from the hotel, just 15 mins into Leicester Square.
A. S. C. U.
People are very good and welcoming. I had a very good stay there. 1mns away from the high street. Affordable rhym with confortable. Staff is excellent. Helpful. Understanding. Well done guys.
V. B.
It was clean and comfortable with almost all the basic necessities except for toothbrush and toothpaste. You can get them from the vending machine on the ground floor though. Most of the staff were very helpful and pleasant except for one dark curly-haired receptionist on duty this morning (Mar 3). She made a face at me when I didn't understand what she said because she was mumbling. Other than that, the room I got was quite large with a comfortable bed. It's not very fancy and I've definitely stayed at much better but it's a good stay if you're in a pinch. Location is nice at Belsize Park within walking distance to many shops though they also have a restaurant.
A. P.
Staff are a delight they remember frequent users and treat you like family really enjoy there company in the mornings
J. T.
Cheap and cheerful place, clean and comfy rooms. Very friendly staff. Alicja on the desk made us very welcome.
j. l.
Rooms are on the snug side, but otherwise a well run hotel. The staff are friendly and attentive to guests no matter what time you check in or out. It has the feel of a Country Inn when it comes to hospitality. The location is great if you want to enjoy nature, cricket or just a wonder around.
G. D.
Standard Premier Inn. My room on 1st Floor very cosy - double room with single occupant. Evening meal in on site restaurant was nice. Friendly staff. Only down side was tv reception was rubbish. Could not get basic freeview channels and the remote was so old a lot of the buttons were worn.
C. W.
Staff all friendly and helpful. Room clean. Self-service breakfast excellent. Food in the evening is adequate, but service is slow especially when staffing is low. Good place to stay to explore Hampstead and London and reasonably priced.
S. A.
I would give this 5 stars based on the rate I'm paying, which is under 100 per night on a 5 night stay. If I were paying what the rate appears to be today, 165, I would give it 2 or 3 stars.
What to expect:
Clean
Comfortable
Dated
WiFi
Good location close to food, market, underground.
What not to expect:
Nice toiletries
Kleenex
Ice machine
Remote control for TV
Fridge or mini bar
Room safe.
It has none of those. But the restaurant downstairs is more than happy to give you big glasses of ice if you want to enjoy a cold drink upstairs. So comparison shop.
D. C.
Hotel is great clean & comfortable but entering the Thyme Restaurant don't be in a rush because the service is slow. When you do eventually get your meal the food is good. But overall this does spoil the overall memory. The carpark is big and has several disabled spaces. Considering the location it's a let down for the city.
G. G.
Very clean, breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. We had an evening meal which was good also. Very close to tube station. Maybe a fridge in the room would have been advantageous. We enjoyed our stay here very much.
F. M.
What makes this hotel -is their restaurant staff. They just can't do enough for you and btw the food is lovely too. My favourite is sea bass parcel. Thank you to all the restaurant who are great every time and if you prefer something served differently, they are very accommodating. Always a pleasant experience here.
S. F.
Tiny room with even smaller bathroom and ancient TV. Room is clean and tidy. Bed is comfortable. It has air con. Pretty quiet. Wi-fi was weak in my room. Very slow service in the Thyme restaurant on my one visit.
Staff are very welcoming but the jail cell sized room and high prices are not encouraging me to return.
D. R.
Good location near to Belsize Park tube with quick easy access into Camden and central London. Not all rooms had Air Conditioning though which really shouldn't have been an issue because that's something really hot countries need..!! But with the UK experiencing a heatwave it would have been nice, or at least I would have expected a fan (Travelodge Greenwich had one in our room recently). The bar/restaurant was big serving food all day, breakfast was buffet style with lots of choice and fresh. Overall happy with our stay.
C. C.
fantastic location but looking a bit tired and in need of some investment. have stayed here several times over the years as love being in Hampstead but can see falling standards. staff great but this hotel needs some money to replace fixtures and fittings. public toilets a disgrace . premier inn need to realise this is a London gem and worth the investment as London has a wide choice of hotels and guests will stay elsewhere
K. J.
Like a home from home if that's at all possible in London. Comfortable, clean, and convenient. Desk staff are really helpful but the breakfast ladies are another level, better, more efficient and friendlier than you could possibly expect in what can be a faceless and soulless sort of environment elsewhere. Has a lot more "regulars" than normal because of Royal Free Hospital patients visiting from around the country and I know for many the presence of certain staff members for numerous years now makes what can be a stressful experience that little bit more pleasant, which is not to be sniffed at in the slightest.
A. H.
Rooms are clean, staff are nice, facilities are good. The bed is very comfortable. The only bad thing I can say is the wheels at the end of the bed stick out and it's too easy to kick them as you walk past. I ended up wrapping a t-shirt around them.
F.
Room was ok and as you expect from Premier Inn. Good location near underground so only a short distance to get into central London. Obviously high footfall, but had to wait at reception to book in and out, although no queue!! Room was clean but carpet on stairs and corridors seemed really grubby so gave a poor first impression.
L. K.
Good location on the doorstep of Belsize Park tube station. Swiss Cottage is only a 15 min walk for the Jubilee line. Staff friendly esp the breakfast crew. Rooms are clean and have good air conditioning but hotel could do with a bit of a decorating or minor refurb.
C. S.
I have had the pleasure of staying in this hotel several times over the years and it has maintained its good standard of comfort and service. The rooms are a good size, the bathrooms are always spotlessly clean and pleasant to use and breakfast is always good quality.
v. p.
Superb location for the royal free hospital. Walking distance to Hampstead heath. Views over London city from some rooms. Food excellent value. Rooms spotlessly clean. Staff very very friendly & helpful. Plenty of extra tea/ coffee/ milk for making a refreshing drink in your room.
V. C. (.
Fantastic location, tube station is a 5/10 minute walk. Camden market is roughly a 30 minute walk from hotel.
Room was very clean, comfortable bed has expected.
Breakfast was a good selection of cooked items and pastries.
S. M.
Perfect location. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff are absolutely lovely. They have been so kind, friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.
T. H.
I've been in this Hotel for 10 months now and I must say how happy I've been the staff treat me very well the food is always hot with plenty of choice the chefs are very good and helpful. The rooms are fine I always sleep well I look forward to the next 9 months that I'll be staying here. Special thanks to Maria, Lucy and Luc (sorry if not spelt correct ) for making me feel at home.
C. B.
Everything you'd expect from a Premier Inn and the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. A little difficult to find it though, there needs to be a sign along the main drag. This branch is a little warn and could do with a little tlc. My room; 305, looked like it had seen better days. But overall a great location very close to Belsize Park tube and has a great restaurant connected to it.
R. H.
Great location (Belsize tube station is just around the corner) & reasonable rates to leave your car in the hotel carpark overnight. Basic small room/fascilities. My room looked like it needed a deep clean throughout though. (Leather headboard covered in greasy dust! 😣) Very helful staff.
E. V.
My husband and I have been visiting this hotel for over 6 years. We love the service, staff always friendly and rooms clean and smelling nice. Bed are comfortable just like the add on TV.
G. L.
Easy to get to by tube staff helpful, but rooms are bit tired has some really nice shops nearby also not to far from the heath. Only thing the car parking is a bit expensive at the hotel
e. h.
Staff pleasant and friendly. The room was OK, bath is tiny and water wasn't particularly hot. The room was very hot, I think it was next to some kind of plant room which may have made it hotter. The air con was either broken or unable to cope, I think broken. A good pint of Boddingtons but no draught Guinness only in a tin surprised me. I'd stay there again because it was right next to the Royal Free Hospital which was where I had an appointment, otherwise it is a functional place to sleep and not much more.
H. W.
Excellent staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good room was clean and parking is available. Have stayed several times never disappointed.
G. M.
It's a bit dated and it's not in Hampstead - it's actually in Belsize Park. The rooms are fine and the hotel is conveniently placed for Belsize Underground, etc, and is a 10 minute walk to Hampstead Heath.
D. P.
Very comfortable king sized bed, room was quite small but adequate as I was staying alone. Very good cleanliness of bathroom and bedroom.
B. D.
My girlfriend and I spent two nights here for Valentine's weekend. The staff are extremely helpful and the location is superb. Only a two minute walk away from Belsize Park station which was ideal for getting into the centre of London in little over five minutes. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and bars but we found its own bar and restaurant, Thyme, to be superb, especially for the all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet. Paid £28 for on-site parking for the entire weekend which is an absolute bargain for where it is.
I definitely recommend.
A. C.
Room small but clean. Nice comfy bed and very helpful staff.
L. B.
A premier inn is a work horse of hotels it does what it says on the tin. The bed was comfy the air conditioning was working yes the bathroom is small but hay you are not sleeping in it, all in all not bad breakfast was nice we had the continental. I will say the toaster is crap! And the TV, some updating needed but I slept well.
N. F.
Your typical, usual Travelodge, they are all the same time wherever you go, so you know what you are getting but there is no individuality or quirky charm which I like & makes a staycation memorable. This particular branch was cheaper & nearer to where we needed to be than the next nearest at Euston /Kings Cross
G. H.
Stayed due to a visit to the royal free hospital.
Very convenient.
The room and breakfast were great, can't say the same for the view from the room, overlooking the air con units and a bp garage/carwash.
Was on a limited budget and found on arrival that parking was £14 overnight .
So that was our evening meal gone.
The premiere inn website says there may be a small parking charge at a few of there hotels.
£14 when your staying there anyway is a rip off .
But other than that , friendly staff and very clean
a. g.
Stayed at this Premier Inn last weekend, left my washbag there, call them following day and spoke to Pauline on receiption, she was brilliant took my bag to post office and sent it on to me,also the staff was excellent and dinner and breakfast was also very good quality.

Older style hotel, thou has had up grades with electronic card pass for doors and the room has air con, rareity the rooms have phones meaning reception can be contacted without leaving the room, which is great if you on the top floor. Rooms small with no power near the bed, but would expect the size due to being in London, size being a prime estate space.
Resurant on site being a tryme buffet breakfast. Hotel has car park thou small so could be interesting parking when full, thou also charged as well at £14 a night for guest.

Stayed at premier Inn Hampstead Sat night of Easter weekend. Very nice stay. Clean comfortable modern family room, had a nice breakfast included. Freindly staff, nothing too much trouble. Great location, 2-300 yds from Belize park tube, upmarket area with God restaurants and shops. Highly recommended!

The Premier Inn on Haverstock Hill is pure unpretentious, basic, clean budget accommodation. It features 143 rooms with a 70-space car park at the back. Its' strongest offering is location. Nestled right between Hampstead and Camden in leafy, residential, North London, affluent Belsize Park. In fact, Belsize Park underground station is less than 100 meters - walk down Haverstock Hill. There is a Budgens supermarket, Boots, Pizza Express, dry cleaners, Franco Manga pizza and Everyman Cinema within a five minute walk. The Royal Free Hospital is a quick seven to ten minute walk away.
For GBP £89 a night you get a snug basic clean room with a large bed, three towels, four pillows, a 20 inch TV (with access to Freeview) a small bathroom (with a full size tub) , hairdyer and a kettle. As expected from a budget hotel the room does not have a safe, mini fridge or temperature control in the room. For the price paid (£89 a night) this hotel is good value just as long your expectations are adjusted accordingly.
There is free Wi-Fi offered and while the conection is reliable, if you are planning on streaming movies via Netflix, BBC iPlayer or any other streaming service, the hotel offers an Ultimate Wi-Fi for £5 access across twenty-four hours which is considerably faster.
Parking on the adjacent parking lot is extra and after ticket validation it cost £14 a day. For non hotel guests the price is £29 a day.
The interior across the five floors is slightly outdated (it could do with a refit) with two vending machine and two small sofas in reception. In fact this Premier Inn is one of the original 'new generation' Premier Inns which at the time were branded as Metro hotels.
Ask for a top floor room (fifth floor) as they enjoy of quiet zones and better views. The staff at the check-in desk where friendly and efficient. There can been wait if you check in at the evening as there is only one person at the font desk.
The only area for major improvement is Thyme, the restaurant adjacent to the hotel. While the service is friendly, hard working and efficient, the prices relative to the quality and portion sizes are not good value. The salmon on toast I ordered for GBP £6.45 as a starter for dinner had less than four small chucks of salmon and less than half an avocado. My advice is to avoid Thyme and walk down Haverstock Hill less than a minutes walk and eat at Chez Bob. It is worth mentioning breakfast is free for two children under 16.
V. B.
Perfect location if you have any reason to visit the 'Royal Free Hospital'. Situated 5min walk from Belize park and across the road to the Hospital. Rooms come in around £94 with breakfast and dinner options. For London this is great value for money with close process to all amenities. Hotel has its own parking and you can leave car and luggage post check out if you wish to.
L. G.
My room was quite small, but comfortable for a couple of days. I was alone in a double, so it would have been tight in two. Overall the place is clean and breakfast was good.
j. b.
Premier Inn should be very proud of the team of people that work here. They go above and beyond the call of duty. Clean room happy staff and great food. And very helpful with our stay that we had to extend a number of times. Even in the twilight hours staff are very helpful and friendly. Thank you premier Inn team at London Hampstead.
M. C.
We got exactly what we expected from a premier inn
p. g.
Great base for staying in London. Easy to drive to just outside the congestion charge zones and parking facilities. I've stayed here a few times and the staff are lovely - helpful and friendly. A great hotel and I would definitely recommend it.
J. M.
Really friendly and helpful staff, both in the hotel and restaurant.
It was snowing when we stayed and our room on the top floor was unbearably hot. Had to sleep with the window open in January!
H. K.
Exceptional service by staff
Superb location for a London visit
All amenities working but does need refurbishment
J. H.
Good place to stay. Staff friendly and helpful, rooms clean. Bed really comfortable, had brilliant nights sleep.
I. T.
We are put in this hotel whenever my daughter goes to the Royal Free. The staff are all nice and friendly. The rooms are always clean and spacious.Parking is good value considering its location. There are plenty of places locally to eat although the restaurant at the hotel does do a good standard of food.
M. B.
Room was spacious, kitted out with 3 beds for us. Breakfast great as usual, just wish it had more fresh fruit. Right next to station, perfect location
S. M.
Stay here a few times each year. Always very well used. Staff very happy and helpful. Food is good and along with alcohol not too expensive considering it's a hotel located in London.
H. R.
VERY basic. The room was ok, if you don't mind one and only falling apart chair in a room for 3, if you don't care that one of the beds is just a couch taken apart and the spare parts are still propped in a pile against the wall right there... It was not particularly dirty, though. The Wi-Fi worked. The breakfast food was the same every day. They did not have ham or cheese for sandwiches! At all!!! Chain policy!!!
O. T.
Great location. Very hot rooms tho
M. W.
Stayed at this Premier Inn with my family following a day at Lords cricket club.
The website said that it was near and handy - I am not too sure I would agree! It may be the nearest Premier Inn - but is still some distance away!
The rooms were smaller than normal - the smallest shower and bathroom I have seen - but it was clean, and we had a good nights stay.
k. g.
Business stay including breakfast but had to pay for dinner separately. Very friendly staff, very comfy bed with loads of pillows. Very enjoyable but a bit pricey therefore only 4 stars given not 5.
R.
We have stayed here on a number of occasions and cannot fault it. Very clean with a super team who give their best every time. Food really good!
V. K.
Great staff, extremely friendly and ready to help. The facilities are alright-ish, a bit outdated but clean. Generally perfect for 1-2 nights stay.
E. W.
The staff here are amazing, super helpful and kind, room is neat and tidy and feels very quiet and safe here.
T. D.
Location close to underground station and very quiet! Rooms not big, but functional and very clean! Bed was comfy and air con was amazing as it was a hot night.
S. H.
Stayed here overnight for bed and breakfast. The room was clean and the facilities very good. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent.
A. T.
Have been coming here for past 10 years, hotel is lovely, clean and well presented. Staff very friendly and efficient and good very good. Can't fault it.
J. S.
Nice and clean hotel, breakfast choices weren't great in my opinion but nice place to stay, and near tube station.
c. a. K.
Nice and warm welcome. The rooms are clean and it is very quiet. The personel is very lovely. The Restaurant is ok but nothing special. 2 min. to undergeound station.
I. S. (.
It was okay, we had a disabled room, bed was low and soft, plenty of room in the bathroom, restaurant is expensive, didn't have breakfast, rooms are very expensive for a premier Inn £133 a night
M. R.
Great for the tube and london access good 2 night stay spoilt by having 1st room on top floor and all fire doors wedged open. This made the reception and huge open staricase like an echo chamber.
The noise kept the toddlers up nearly all night.
If the staff had kept the FIRE DOORS shut I would have given 4/5 stars.
Parking is extra by the way.
S. L.
The staff here are the best I have ever come across, and I have stayed at places that cost three times as much as this. They are polite, cheerful, and nothing is too much trouble for them. I can't recommend them enough.
S. W.
One of Premier Inns older hotels, not nicely refurbished like the others ive been too. Wouldn't stay here again out of choice. But restaurant was great.
h. p.
Staff fantastic but the food wasn't. Really not worth the money for breakfast. Reduced menu for the same price??
C. B.
Pleasant hotel in a very nice area. Comfortable beds. Helpful friendly staff. Very close to shops, restaurants, a nice pub and a tube station.
J. W.
Very nice and very handy having a car park for guests staying in hotel
s. p.
Great location in Belsize Park within easy walk of Hampstead Heath and public transport. Excellent breakfast buffet, secure barrier to the car park. Clean rooms.
I. F.
Friendly helpful staff team. Room more than adequate. Bed comfy as always. Breakfast good quality.
a. t.
The stay at the hotel was nice enough. The rooms were I thought a little small and the TV was a bit retro. The restaurant seemed a little understaffed. Other than that it was OK.
J. H. (.
Stayed 2 nights, smallish room, over priced continental breakfast, Restaurant food was 100% with friendly staff, felt hotel was clean and secure.
A. L.
Simple rooms, no complaints about them. Parking can be a bit expensive but it's all worth it for the access to Belsize Park station. Provides access to the Northern line and within a couple stops can transfer lines. Only a short trip on the tube to get to Soho and Leicester Square area.
J. C.
Short walk to Belsize Park underground, clean rooms, surprisingly quiet. Decent local food options if the attached restaurant is closed or not your thing.
L. H.
Staff are nice and friendly breakfast staff also lovely accommodating rooms a bit small and stuffy and old fashioned
J. H. (.
Never disappoints, almost always a good night's sleep. Breakfast is great, staff could not be better. Just feels a bit dated on the outside.
C. H.
Really nice staff. Good food. Some parts of the accommodation are a little tired & could stand a coat of paint.
L. H.
Great location and with a premier inn you know what you are getting. Air-conditioning could have been better, it just seemed to blow out warm air.
C. W.
Right next to tube station and kfc across the road along with convenience store for water and snacks. Rooms are small but very clean.
P. G.
Rooms not that big but served the purpose bonus parking area
S. C.
Comfortable & clean rooms, could use a mini fridge, stuff super friendly. Restaurant closes too early, waitress won't serve if you sit only for a drink you have to go to the bar.
C. D. B.
Having treatment over 5 full days. Staff are very friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Very well run and had no problems. Thanks
G. C.
17 May ‘21. Post Covid re-opening and the staff are doing an excellent job coping with the demand for their services.
J. M.
Our stay at the Premier Inn at Belize Park was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist in any way possible.
O. D.
Convenient for public transport. Small, but cozy and clean rooms.
J. b.
You know what you are getting. Nice comfy room, nice town setting. Staff were great, breakfast was amazing too.
M. N.
My five night stay here has been very pleasurable. Staff members have been great and most helpful.
J. H.
Adequate rooms. Staff generally helpful. Decent breakfast. Service is quite basic and some of the building is quite tired.
j. d.
Reception were very helpful when arriving, room ok,but dated but had everything we needed for our 2 day stay.
S. B.
Very clean, beds comfy, room was a little to warm for me. Highly recommend the restaurant, food is great.
M. E.
l love this place . . it's clearly home from home to the guests that stay here . . the staff are so friendly we wouldn't stay anywhere else in London . . a hidden gem!
M. T.
Food somewhat erratic in timing. Chips appeared after fish. However quality of food excellent. Lenny Henry spoke the truth about a good night's sleep.
C.
We received a nice welcome on arrival and the room was just right. Will definitely book again if I'm in the area. Thank you for a nice stay.
w. p.
Convenient location close to tube station, friendly helpful staff and great food. Best of all, flowers and card from the staff on my birthday! Would recommend.
S. W.
Fairly close to the tube, nice clean rooms, only grumble was there was only one coffee machine at breakfast and queues of over 20 people
L. L.
Dated design, Weak shower, Old TV, Keycards and Scanners were very inconsistent but beds were comfy and close enough to Camden with good staff.
E. W.
Very comfortable .Good food too
J. C.
Clean but a bit tired. Staff friendly. Air con blew warm when set to cool.
P. M.
I like this place it needs a referb but then you will pay referb prices it's clean with comfortable beds the bathroom works and the food is more than acceptable ,just watch out for the parking machine
M. K.
Comfotable, pleasant room and bed. Good location as close to Belsize Park tube station. Lots of eateries and pubs nearby and close to the royal free hospital.
N. v. H.
Not very modern hotel, but everything is there and works. Reasonable price and good breakfast. So A plus.
J. R.
Ok location, small rooms, slow service in the bar/restaurant. Has onsite parking though which is the ONLY reason we use this hotel
P. B.
Good Premier Inn. Staff welcoming and friendly, especially breakfast staff who are cheerful and ready to help. Clean rooms and linen.
H.
Good price, breakfast pretty good, overall staff friendly, very close to Royal Free hospital so very good if having to attend appointment there
W. M.
Excellent, comfortable hotel with a restaurant downstairs. Friendly and helpful staff. We're traveling internationally with family.
P. O.
Met friends who were staying there for breakfast. Good food and pleasant service at very fair prices for Hampstead. Bottomless coffee was a bonus.
I. W.
It's a premier Inn so it's OK. Full English breakfast was much better than previous visit. Also evening meal was better than expected and reasonably priced.
B. N.
Great hotel staff very helpful their breakfast choices are great so much to choose from bedrooms very clean love staying here
D. D.
Would have no hesitation in recommending the Hampstead Premier Inn. Room was clean and well maintained, restaurant was to a good standard and staff were both courteous and attentive.

B. D.
Solid accommodation, small rooms but we'll furnished and most importantly for London, quiet.
J. P.
Best breakfast I've had in a premier inn. I had great views of London from my room on the 5th floor. Would recommend
g. b.
Nice staff-pleasant clean rooms-nice & quiet within-restaurant breakfast excellent-but found evening menu rather restricted.
E. D.
I have just had a lovely rest in the Premier Inn in Hampstead. The bed was so comfortable and the meal was a treat. Looking forward to my next step.
J. M.
Great location , lovely staff. Just needs updating and maintains.
Z. A.
It was ok. But the AC was not working when I was there and the hotel room was very hot at night, sweat away the sheets.
A. -.

j. m.
Location is excellent near nice shops and restaurants or a tube station. The hotel could do with an update, no plugs by the bed for example
L. P.
Very nice colleague, hotel very poor,in need of upgrade, resturant food good but cleanliness off dining room not so good, walls, blinds, sorry Grubby, out side patio area total let down for company wouldn't invite passing trade, shame as very heavy footfall all day, colleagues very helpful and friendly which makes up for hotel let downs
