C. S.Quiet hotel sleep quality good, easy walk to southgate tube station. We went for breakfast at 8:30 and the breakfast was a little sparse. Overall decent value and we would use this Premier Inn again.

Which was a peace of mind. I had to pay an extra ten pound a night to park at the Premier Inn. And when I weighed it up that was pretty good for London 💰👍
P. N.Booked for NFL Tottenham as did quite a few. Considerably cheaper than others in the area. Decent, clean, warm and comfortable. Parking at £10 per day, worth noting it's free for blue badge holders. Friendly, helpful staff. Great location for the tube into the city, direct line to Leicester Square. Would definitly use the hotel again.

S. S.I love staying at Premier Inn. Arriving is like walking into your second home. Always clean and well maintained rooms and providing all you need for a long or short stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. My only criticism is that the parking charge is quite steep which, for a stay of 5 days or so, bumps up the cost of the stay

Half the restaurant menu being out of stock isn't a good look
K.Upon arrival we had Olga who was quite rude in the way she spoke. It didn’t feel welcoming at all! Thank God, Olga wasn’t there the whole time and Rachel took over who’s amazing and looked after us like proper hotel guests and this is the reason I’m giving the hotel 4*.
Room wise, it’s clean and comfortable but having no window is not good, you didn’t feel like you could breathe at times. They have ventilation to bring fresh air in however it’s noisy especially in the evening and night.
Breakfast wise, it’s tasty and the service is good but made sure to let them know about the pancake with the frozen berries that were still frozen! The fruits should be fresh rather than frozen and there should be maple syrup offered not plain dry pancakes.

S. C.Pleasantly surprised. Check in was smooth. The room was clean and a nice size. There is shower gel/shampoo from a dispenser in the bathroom but it's basic stuff and not necessarily good for your hair. The vanity mirror with lights to do hair and make up is a nice touch.

Perfect location for underground, just 25 mins direct to Covent Garden, staff were brilliant for the entire 4 days we stayed (Myself and 8 year old daughter), breakfast was lovely and had evening meal which I couldn't fault. J. S.Super friendly and helpful staff, keeping up the good name of Premier Inn. I had a double room which was plenty big enough and well presented. It was fitted with very thick blackout curtains and as it is far enough off the main road it meant I was able to get a great nights sleep! With the great prices I would thoroughly recommend this branch to anyone looking for a place to stay.

I. B.The perfect base for a London stay. 300 yards from the underground station, free of the congestion charge and with parking. All of the members of staff we found were friendly and their customer service was fab. The breakfasts were fantastic! Highly recommended and we’d definitely go back again in a heartbeat. Superb!

Sheltered, off street parking is a bonus too, and the staff are very friendly.

M. W.This is a typical Premier Inn. Our room was basic but clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast was surprisingly good. If you want to park your car there is a car park just a few metres away but you will pay £10 per night for the privilege. The hotel is located a short walk from Southgate tube station and there are also plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby
M. C.I would recommend this hotel if you are venturing into central London the tube station or bus terminal is only a few minutes walk away,you do pay £10 to leave your car overnight but all in all good value. The bed was lovely and comfy and a good night sleep was had by all.

C. B.Bathroom slightly smells of council toilets. Our shower in room 111 didn't have hot water , so had to have ice cold showers. Had no extra pillows so went to ask for some and they never came. The bar setting out is questionable.
L. J.Great location for family event. We had a problem with the bed linen and they worked very hard to sort it out and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was very relaxing, we weren't rushed and staff helpful even though the hotel was full.
I. I.As a Premier Inn this is spot on the same level as every other Premier Inn, so it is excellent value for money. Superb location (literally next to Southgate Underground station) and some nice shops opposite. The 4* rating is to do with the fact that the room windows are sealed (I guess this is to do with new regulation) and therefore no fresh air can enter; the ventilation is therefore controlled by the air-con unit which is not necessarily climate control...
J. G.A new build, in fact a hotel I booked before building it had even been finished. As such, I had high expectations, which were met. The location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk from Southgate Tube/bus station and the main shopping area. My room was great, with plug sockets where you need them, and I do love the purple "mood lighting" coming from the top of the headboard on the bed. Service was fab, but special mention must go to Tamay, on reception when I checked in - she was the real star of my stay. She gave me a very warm welcome when I arrived, so much so that I decided to go back to reception later in the day just to have a chat with her. It's particularly notable that I wanted to do that as I have Asperger's Syndrome and find communication difficult, so for me to want to seek more communication with her for no specific purpose speaks volumes for how welcoming she was, able to put me at ease throughout our interaction. She was (or at least appeared to be) very interested in what I was saying to her. If she is like this with all her customers, then she is a very valuable asset to the team. If I need to stay somewhere in north London again in future, and I choose Premier Inn Southgate, she will have been one significant reason why.
D.Staff were very happy and forthcoming, room is what I excepted, good size, enough amenities and most of all clean and comfortable. The only reason I gave it three stars, is the carpark could be more secure.

E. S.My wife and I moved in to Southgate Premier Inn for a few weeks, which turned into 8 whilst having some renovations at home.
We were greeted by Ayesha who has the front of house skills that would fit into any West End 5* hotel.
Because of the length of stay we was planning she moved us into the brightest top floor room she had.... it made all the difference.
I guess that an 8 week stint is unusual and potentially difficult but because the whole team here are professional, friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome It was a breeze. To the point of being a bit sad to leave ;).
Lastly, we have to mention food. Marcus on Breakfasts...fantastic and Rory looking after Dinner. Rory would slot into any kitchen in London....My wife lived on his Steak, cooked and seasoned to perfection every time, no matter how busy the restaurant was.

R.I normally like Premier Inn rooms - they do what they say on the tin but sadly I was given a room with a window so slim they shouldn't have even bothered - it even looked out towards a brick wall. Very little light entered the room (this was in the height of summer 2018 with the UK heatwave) which in turn felt closed in and dingy.
Restaurant food too was spoilt by the fact that very little was available on the menu as they had run out of items.
P. B.Rooms decent size, bed so comfy, had a great nights sleep. Breakfast seemed a bit disorganised but chef done me poached eggs no problem. Tables were not cleared and items not replenished but there seemed to be a staffing issue at the time. Staff are very good and helpful. Position of hotel to tube is spot on, literally a 2 minute walk. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the area. I recommend "Ye Olde Cherry Tree" which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. As you turn right out of the doors and walk towards the main road, turn left and follow the road straight. "Ye Olde cherry tree" is on the left opposite the green.
A.Can't fault it for the price. Easy tube access and lots of quick food choices like McDonald's, KFC and Nandos within walking distance. We used it for Alexandra Palace which was a 15min taxi ride. Very clean hotel with reasonably cheap parking. Would highly recommend.
D. K.Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and handy for local shops and tube station. Just 30 minutes to central London on the Piccadilly line. Hotel is new, modern, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful and breakfast is good. I'm going back again.

S. C.This is classed as a 3 star and I found it far superior than their 4 star peers. Beds firm and comfortable, free WiFi unlike travel lodge down the road. Nice pressured shower, ambient mood lighting above the bed when bright lights don't cut it on a drinking session. I'm not sure if it was a free breakfast as in the room it said unlimited brekkie for £10 something but needless to say I didn't make it in time. However, I did request a late check out and they gladly accomadated free of charge. On my way out they even offered me free croissants for someone on the go. For a chain, I couldn't have asked for more from a 3 star. For peeps on a mad night out, a great place to crash and rest your heads! If indeed it does offer free brekkie and a late check out subject to availability, you really can't do better for the price of £60.
s.Rooms very clean and nice. Breakfast team very welcoming and nice . Overall very nice experience. Definitely will be back. Great location just next to the bus / tube station .
F.A new hotel with easy access to Southgate underground station and bus links. The hotel itself is a typical Premier Inn style Hotel that does delicious breakfasts. If I go back to Southgate for any reason I will be booking Premier Inn again and would recommend to others too.
