I found this Victorian style house pub is so welcoming to the visitors and Rafael is very helpful and professional . Even if the house us a bit old, staff is working with care about the hostal needed.

For a 1 star hotel, it's a very good, what more can you ask for free WiFi, cheap and it has a pub stayed, once while traveling and this will be my go to now, it's good price, tidy. Definitely 5 stars from me.

Walked in a bit apprehensive having read a few reviews but would probably stay here again as it's cheap, in a good location and it was quiet. Shower was hot and worked fine and toilets weren't a bomb site so I was perfectly happy with what I'd paid for. Try not to get the very top bunk because if you slip off the ladder in the middle of the night going to the toilet its a long way to fall. Staff were friendly and happy to help with food suggestions etc, breakfast was 2 pounds for a reason.

I was somewhat nervous about staying here from some of the reviews, but I had a very enjoyable stay. It is a hostel, you get what you pay for, and given the rate it is a great deal. I stayed during the week so unsure what the weekends are like. The staff were lovely, the WiFi worked far better than most hostels I've stayed at (was able to do a solid days work without trouble, didn't work so well in the evenings when it got busier), the breakfast was a great deal, and I was lucky enough to have good roommates so actually got a great sleep. The street it was on was quiet at night which was brilliant, and all in all it had a nice relaxed atmosphere. I would caution that it is essential that you use the lockers, and that some of the lockers are poorly constructed so you need to choose a robust one. There are however plenty to choose from, both downstairs under camera's, and in the rooms themselves. Some reviews mentioned it is not close to a tube station, which is wrong. There's a tube station within a 10-15 minute walk. There is also several supermarkets and the bar at the hostel has cheap pints and friendly locals. Showers weren't the best, but better than a lot of hostels I've stayed at recently.

The hostel staff is very well prepared and always in a good mood. The building is very old, but everything works fine. The rooms are good, could be organized better and could have lockers inside. It could be cleaned better, but it's not a big deal. The beds are fine and the pillows and sheets are new.

Good place for a short stay in London. Absolutely cheapest way to sleep in a clean bed. Mike was a friendly host, he gave us the utmost care. Beer is good and cheap, WiFi (only in the restaurant) works and is very fast. Breakfast for £ 2 per person is sure to pay off. We are glad to know the atmosphere of an ordinary English pub and have enjoyed a stay. If you don't mind a student dormitory, it's a place for you. You can't expect for a low money standard as in the Hilton. Cheap, clean, quiet, safe and friendly - nice place.

You guys will love it! This was my first time in a hostel so I was a bit nervous. However after the first night I was more than comfortable. Lovely and helpful staff, I felt safe, bed was comfy, blankets were warm, showers are hot, toilets are clean. Considering the price this is fantastic value. Also - Andrew behind the bar at breakfast is delightful! Super helpful, chats to the whole room and makes everyone feel relaxed. Really good people here, do it!

Great Pub & Hostel! The employees there were very nice, all of them. Specially Abdul and Michael. The room was clean, the only thing that I think was missing was a kitchen with a microwave and stove. But in most, was a very nice experience! Really recommend it.

I arrived and got welcomed by Ash I checked in and got sett up, it was always fun and welcoming to have such nice staff as Ash and Peter. I would definitely visit again in the future. A little - the main bathroom for boys the one toilet is a little loose and I hope that is fixed for the next time.

The Queen will always stay with me. Landed here after being at a nearby hostel that was 14 bed dorms In a creepy environment and rude staff and more expensive . Welcomed by a group of aussies who seriously turned my time into a very enjoyable one and made friends I still stay in touch with. any time I'm back in London I make it my mission to visit as a pilgrimage. Stayed 2 weeks In a six bed dorm, spend the extra euro a night for that luxury you won't regret it. Affordable, it's a hostel not a hotel, beds are comfy and , good cleaning services, a great bar, convenient and cheap breakfast, public fridge but limited kitchen amenities. Not really an issue if your a bag packer. Really close to the tube and inner city, didn't feel scared in locality late at night it's very quite, but it is London and close to the. Chelsea stadium so match days, you can hear the matches and a small few local stragglers will fill the supporters bar. There's a huge apartment block nearby makes it easy to find your way. One of the Best hotels for price/location

Showers were falling apart and were not very easy to use (eg. no shelves, chair to put things on), but the bed was very comfortable, though noisy when getting on or off. It gets really crowded in the room when all the beds (3 bunk ones) are occupied. Though you can meet some people :) Overall I could recommend it for a short stay, taking into account the low (for London) price and the location.

The bedrooms were shabby and poorly painted, with most of the sockets in the room not working. There was also no privacy once you got into your bed (i.e. no curtain). The staff were friendly, accomodating but also a little.. apathetic. Breakfast was available, but there was no sink available to wash your dishes afterwards. The bathrooms were quite clean, although one of them was broken and went only from hot, to scalding. Very cheap price

It is an ok hostel pretty good value for the price. I had lost my wallet and they helped me out. The rooms could be better and there are also of beds for the size of rooms. Areas of the hostel smell a bit and it is generally grimey overall. There is no real place to relax as it is very noisy in the bar and I was not sure who was staff and who were guests. But for the price it was overall an ok experience

Cheap place to stay, good for short stay. Very friendly staff. Place is not super clean, but beds were clean and fresh. All showers works perfectly, and they were very well cleaned and managed. This is a 1* hotel and as usual i find other rating as if a higher star.. no, this place isnt perfect but i find it to be perfect. The staff are very welcoming. Always willing to help if needed. Wow, let me first say... the staff (specifically Andrew) was amazing. Although a 5/5 is available, this place and aAdrew earned a 10/10. I stayed in two separate rooms and both were great. Being from the states, I was worried I would be singled out for my accent, but after Andrew taught me how to hold a british accent, people were asking for directions like I was a true local! 2 £ breakfast is unbeatable anywhere else, showers are warm, wifi is fast and maybe it was the jet lag, but the beds were quite comfy-- the minute I touched my bed I was dead asleep. The Queen Elizabeth hostel is a wonderful, economical choice for any traveler. The people are so chill that you immediately feel welcome and at home. The place boasts a quaint simplicity and, probably thanks to the conjoining pub, an aura of authenticity as locals and visitors alike mingle through the hours. The hostel does not try to be anything else besides what it is--a resting spot for the sojourning soul, a marketplace of stories and shared experiences, a locus of laughter and new friendships. Any complaint one might conjure ought to be reconsidered with humility. If you want the lavish, book a hotel in Picadilly or Central. But if you remember that travel is what you make of it, then you will find ease in your own designs on the cozy couches of Queen Elizabeth. Lastly, Rob, Rob, and Justin are marvelous stewards of Queen Elizabeth. They are eager to share their experiences of the UK and life in general. If you're down for a good laugh, chat away from the evening until sunrise with these fellas.

This is the cheapest hostel in London, and staff say they have the cheapest beer too. They get fully booked sometimes so you should reserve at least your first night online, but rates are lower if you reserve and pay in person. As it is a budget place, don't expect luxuries. Bring your own towel, and possibly TP and soap too. What makes this place, though, is the good dive atmosphere. Angus and Matt, owner and manager respectively, along with the staff are very welcoming and helpful, and any other patrons hanging out in the pub are generally good folk too. If you want to stay longer than a few weeks, inquire about working there and they can probably set you up with a few shifts a week. Its location in a quieter part of Chelsea is within 10 minutes' walk from Fulham Broadway and Imperial Wharf tube stations and numerous bus stops (including 14, and 24hr route to and from Liverpool Street.) Showers and toilets are co-ed and shared between rooms. Wifi signal is limited to the pub/lounge area on the ground floor, and lockers are on the ground floor too (not in the rooms.) There is a fridge and microwave in the lounge but no proper kitchen. I recommend you pay the £2 for the breakfast bar 6:30-10:30 and walk the few minutes to Tesco to buy food. Available upon deposit are various travelers' items such as locks and power plug converters.

I'm glad they're open late, because I got here at night (got very lost after my phone died). They were able to let me in and set me up. They have a lounge with several comfortable couches where you can use your phone. They have a bar with some chips for sale behind (I had more than my share of Lay's).

The hostel has a nice pub and common area at the reception where people can get together, they still need to work on the clean lines as the toilets was not cleaned most of the times, and the air conditioning was not working well so the room was cold, it takes about 40 minutes to get to city center by bus

Anthony’s magic trick was by far the highlight of the stay, that and along with the karaoke night which they did not hesitate in joining in. Everyday when we came back to the hostel they would ask how our day was and be up for a chat. First point, avoid room 12 (with 20 beds) is a storage converted in room with a lot of beds without space. You need go outside to go the Living room or inclusive to the bathroom. If is raining, you new bring the umbrella with your self or you can get the shower in the way. And of course, this room receive the visit of some mices. The rest of the hostel is ok. Some beds have the leader broken. I don't know why is only one toiler per floor. Also is very difficult find plugs. WiFi is not very good. The living room is the pub, so can be very noise sometimes. Only is one microwave available to cook, but is not difficult find space in the fridge. Have a boardgames also a good number of sofas. Is little far from downtown. The staff is amazing and if is any problem, they try help you as like they can. They have a breakfast with juice,, coffee, tosties and sandwiches for only 2£.

Sempre nella hall, con receptionist presente 24 ore su 24 e videosorvegliata, ci sono alcuni piccoli armadietti (è possibile affittare un lucchetto), mentre si può custodire la valigia in un deposito. Personalmente ho lasciato gli oggetti di valore nell'armadietto e tenuto, come tutti i ragazzi della camera, lo zaino ai piedi del letto e non ci sono stati problemi. Il wifi è presente in tutto l'ostello tramite dei ripetitori che vanno a occupare una delle poche prese. Infine l'ostello si trova in una zona residenziale abbastanza tranquilla ed è distante circa 10 minuti a piedi da una importante stazione della metro.
