M.The hotel and staff are great for personal or business. I would highly recommend them - the sofa bed was unusually comfortable (to the extent that I would buy the same one for home if I could find out where it came from!) and the linen was lovely. Staff very warm and friendly. This place is basic in some respects but honestly has all you need delivered very well and with a smile. The hospitality staff in London all deserve a virtual hug and this hotel’s does for sure - the front desk were lovely.

S. B.Out of 4 stars, 2 stars for their staff, what an amazing, lovely bunch of people they have. Always smiling, ready to help, guiding you in whatever help you need and strike a small conversation whenever it is needed. Rooms are always clean and supplies are there. If you are facing an issue with the use of any appliance, hotel management promptly sends a help. Although bedroom area is bit smaller but sitting area is large and views are nice. The only thing I feel could be better is slightly larger bedroom area and breakfast. Breakfast is repeatative and limited, which makes it monotonus.

j. b.I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights (in 09/21) and enjoyed my stay here, though it was not without a few issues. The room I was in have the bed right next to the the door leading to the hallway and I was woken up by the noise from the hallway (which was so loud that I thought the tv in the living room was on). I soon figure out that the walls are thin and you can hear every noise in the hallway all day long. Another issue I had is that the hotel only has one small elevator for 5 stories with at least 12 room per floor. there were times where I had to wait over 7 minutes for the elevator, which seems like alot.
The staff at the front desk were extremely nice and attentive and there is a free breakfast served. There is a sainsbury local across the street from the hotel, but it's a long walk to get to restaurants and most bars. Also it about a 15-20 minute walk for the london bridge train station, though there are alot of bus stops nearby.
All in all, I think I would probably stay at the Residence Inn Tower bridge again over this hotel because it is closer to restaurants and the train station. And even though the rooms are smaller they have more elevators and most rooms are off the main hallway.

E.Residence Inn made me feel at home. Everything I needed in one place from laundry service to fast internet and located so aptly to train station, lovely restaurants. Most importantly I had slept like a baby in the comfy beds. Nothing is more amazing to a clean shower after a long flight. The bathroom facilities are really 5 star and the entire room super clean.

B.I met my parents in London for two nights and we were very delighted to stay in this nice hotel. The two bedroom suite was perfect for three people and felt very relaxed and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for more than 2 people and the location is perfect!

Only reason not 5 stars is lack of freshness of some breakfast items and I've had inconsistent housekeeping (they clean buy might replace only shampoo or leave 4 conditioners or no coffee pods or only decaf pods), although I've had that experience at most Marriotts.

Near the Shard, Borough Market, and Tower Bridge, this hotel offers a modern / clean hotel with well stocked kitchen which is fantastic for those who love to cook. It also has a laundry room (gratis by the way) which helps for those who would rather do the odd load of laundry vs. packing extra clothes.
N. H.Spending a lot of time in London on business it gets a bit old staying in the normal hotel rooms, so this is a great option. You have additional facilities at relatively the same cost, such as a fridge, microwave and oven. Clean, comfy rooms and pantry on the ground floor providing some food and drinks. Gym on site is a added bonus.

M.My partner and I had a lovely stay, the hotel is close by to the London Bridge Station and a local Sainsbury's which delightful when we had to go somewhere or buy some food.
The breakfast was lovely with some hot food available and pastries. As well as juices, milks, yogurts and cheese.
The room was a lovely size, bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchenette was easy and convenient to use.
Netflix was not included in the room as a service, but if you screen mirror your phone to the TV you can use your personal phone to access it. (Click on internet tv, then youtube, press menu on the remote and it'll pop up the tv menu, you'll find screen mirroring on the network section if I remember correctly)
The laundry room was easy to find and access. The only issue was that the first dryer we chose did not work, but we just moved our washing to another and it was fine, only had to extend our time to stay up as we use it in the night.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, it was amazing to be back in a hotel after so long. Made our stay extremely relaxing and overall had an amazing experience in London.

The walls are pretty thin, and the bed was near the entrance, so foot traffic in the Hall cam be heard.

Kitchen is spacious and good. Stayed here with my mom and she LOVED it. 10 minutes walk to London Bridge and South Bank. 10 minutes walk to London Bridge station, where you can go to Gatwick airport directly.
Right next to a Sainsburies supermarket. Breakfast was decent. I even lost my keycard in a restaurant, and they didn't charge me money for it.
Previously, me and my mom stayed at the Hyatt Churchill in Marylebone, which was a 5 star hotel, but we both like this hotel BETTER. That's because the rooms in this hotel were twice the size of the Hyatt hotel. And also the kitchen, that was an added benefit. It was also way cheaper than Hyatt Churchill.

C.Residence Inn hotels have always maintained a well-kept inage in the US. It is my first in UK and I am amazed at how well-maintained, stylish the unit was. It gave a homely feeling each time we return from a day of sightseeing.

Check in was smooth and effortless. Staff on reception are very friendly and very helpful. Yoanna on reception couldn’t do enough to help me and my family she is a great asset to the hotel she is amazing. Gabriella was very helpful and friendly too. Rooms were spacious and clean and had all the facilities we needed for the weekend.

R. A.Amazing! As London hotels go, I’ve stayed in some 5-star, 4-star and even 1-star hotels and I’ve got to say I’ve found a new favourite.
First off, location is spot on and in walking distance of the main attractions. Parking is very difficult, but this is explained before booking.
If you have a large car go to the NCP car park not the Q-Park. If you are catching the train/tube get off at London Bridge.
We had a large suite and it was lovely, kitchen, living area and two large areas with king size beds and two separate showers.
View from the room was quite nice, we could see the London Eye and Alexander Palace.
Check-in was easy and breakfast was complimentary.
Price wise was really good and we could stay an extra few nights for the price of other hotels.

A.My wife and I typically stay at airbnbs for the cultural experience of a stay, but after two sketchy ones where cleanliness was questionable, it was nice to be at residence inn, where it felt well tended to. Additionally, staff was helpful when we needed direction and guidance in the area. I would definitely stay there again! And I really liked the neighborhood. Additionally, we arrived a little before our check-in time, so I would have understood if we could not check in at that point, but they were able to accommodate it, which was very helpful since it had been a very long day!

C.I really enjoyed. We stayed for 2 nights with our 3 year old. There was a sofa bed in the lounge/ kitchen with beddings. Room was tidy and clean and spacious if the sofa is closed, Shower is big and relaxing. You have hairdryer and iron also gym and laundry .
Staff is very nice and helpful. I felt welcome. The kitchen is a must as you can cook and heat food in the microwave. Breakfast has a good selection for price: English breakfast , omelette, slices of bread, hot drinks , several juices , yoghurts , ice creams , etc. You can also take breakfast to your room. Kitchenette facilities:sink, single hob, small dishwasher, convection combination microwave oven, utensils,cutlery pans for cooking, if you choose to do so. Clean and tidy room.
Breakfast can be taken back to room in container in view of covid and social distancing if it gets crowded, or you prefer.
Laundry free but 2 tumble dryer machines were not working and there were no signs up to say so. Limited instructions, but luckily came across a staff member who explained it and I explained it to another guest later.(need to pay small amount for laundry detergent)
Overall good for a central London stay. Close to station and lots of good food options, and not cramp and tiny like some other London accommodation.
C.The property is in a very convenient location, as it is close to many landmarks. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped for several days of stay. C.I called before hand to find out about breakfast the number was directed to Kensington. I was told the hotels are serving hot breakfast when I turned up it wasn’t it was just continental. The room was also very dusty. It really really affected my allergies. The frames on the shelf were dusty and the tea and coffee machine along with the cups were also dusty and dirty so I never used them. It seemed that no one had stayed in the room for a while but it should have had a once over before guests arrive. Also the room was booked for 3 people but the fold out bed was not set up and no bed linen provided for me to do it myself I had to call to get that which I had to put the duvet cover on the duvet myself. We didn’t even end up pulling the bed out in the end it was just a hassle.

Found the room quite spacious, there is a basic bedroom with large bed, reasonably sized shower, and reasonably sized living room/kitchen.
The living room has a 2 seater sofa (you could get 3 on) and small coffee table and a dining table for 2. The kitchen is well equipped, with microwave/oven, hob, toaster, kettle, coffee machine (with capsules provided) and variety of utensils, crockery and cutlery.
The gym is quite well equipped with selection of cardio / resistance machines, and free weights. Quite a large room so you're not cramped (though I only saw one other person briefly using it besides myself).
Breakfast was perfectly good. Not as extensive as some other full hotels, but a few hot items, cereals, toast, juices, hot drinks, and fruit.
They have a few items to purchase if you want to eat in your room (as well as beers) but there is a Sainsbury's local right next door which is probably a better option.

S. w.I visited and stayed October of 2018. Reason for visit, Came for the NFL game Chicago Bears. the room was lovely, larger than I expected. The bed was comfy. The staff was great! Want to give a special thanks and accommodation to one of the night managers Abiy. He was great. arranged cab service for a EARLY day trip to Paris and even had breakfast available. I also left a personal item in the cab and I thought it was gone forever and it was retrieved and returned to me.

S. D.I've spent months here as a "home away from home" on business. The service is very helpful and the location is excellent. The rooms are comfortable and the small but surprisingly functional kitchen is very practical for longer stays or shorter ones when you want to save money or have special dietary considerations. Two grocery stores are within a 5 minute walk so it's easy to restock.

M.Well located hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. Night shift staff could be more knowledgeable and helpful when asked for information or help. Laundry could be better equipped with operating instructions posted on walls especially for foreigners who are used to different machines abroad. Two out of four washing machines were out of service during our 5 nights stay.

T.This hands down has been the best Marriott property experience I ever had and I have stayed at numerous Marriotts. Gulcan and Neil greeted my daughter an I upon arrival. We were exhausted from our travels to the UK and their kindness, patients and genuine care for making us fell welcomed was so comforting. They took the time to get to know us and made sure that we had everything that we needed upon arrival. That evening they had a mixer ran by Neil who again took time to visit with us and to make sure my daughter and I had everything we needed. The snacks and treats at the mixer were perfect way to end our day. The next morning as we headed downstairs to grab breakfast, Gulcan created us and again made sure all was right with our stay so far. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic, very British and tasty. Again the staff engaged with my daughter and I, made recommendations for places to eat as well to visit. We stayed at the property for 9 days and each day heading back to the hotel was like we were heading back home. Essentially the staff made us feel like family and we love our family. When I return to London, this will be my home away from home.

M.The Residence Inn London Bridge was a great place to stay for my daughter and I. It was a short walk from either the Borough or London Bridge Tub stations (from Borough may have quicker). It was safe, clean and new in appearance. We had a one bedroom suite. The overall space was tight (opening the door was a little challenging, limited space to do so), but furnished quite well. Bed and linens were excellent, the bathroom was modern, clean and spacious enough for one. The breakfast was excellent with a nice variety of foods to satisfy everyone taste. I generally stay in with another hotel chain, this trip may make me switch to Marriot!

D.Due to current situation as a career I needed to stay at Residence Inn London Bridge. From booking to arrival and departing they team were a well oiled machine. Claudia in reservations was helpful in making sure I got the room I needed and then Ioana made sure anything I needed was provided.
A.The hotel has a good balance of calm and convenience - located in a residential area but only 10 minutes walk from London Bridge Station with a Sainsburys Local almost next door to the hotel. The fully equipped kitchen and associated amenities are of good quality. The room decor is modern - a lot more stylish than the other Residence Inns I have stayed in North America. One criticism I have about the room I was in (large studio with double bathrooms) is that there is only a very narrow gap to get into either bathroom because the beds were in the way. Outside of the room, there are also 4 Miele washing machines and tumble dryers in the laundry room in the basement which are free for guests’ use. The gym is reasonably well equipped although unfortunately the property lacks a swimming pool. Breakfast needs significant improvement - the selection was minimal but more importantly there was a constant shortage of crockery and food. Staff was accommodating and friendly - I arrived early and was allowed early check in. Being a Gold member, they also honoured my 4pm late checkout. On the whole, I cannot say this is a luxury property but definitely very good quality for the price.

t.Hotel is very new so room has modern furnishings and bath. Kitchen is well furnished with dishwasher as well as oven and stovetop along with fridge. Has smaller neighborhood feel than Central London. Nice local restaurants on Bermondsey between hotel and London Bridge station. London Bridge station is further east than much of the tourist attractions so it's closer to a 35 minute ride and walk but not inconvenient. But close to The Shard if doing business there or you go up for the view.
U.We booked this hotel using points. It's in an excellent, quiet location, 1/2 mile from London Bridge underground and 1 block from Sainsbury. Breakfast was substantial and rooms were very clean and modern. We were a mom, 16 year old daughter and step-grandmother in a 1 bedroom suite. It was a little cramped but sufficient as we were out most of the time. Double bed was very comfortable. Step-grandmother's pull out sofa could have been better. It did not pull out easily and because of that we had to have the bed open at all times which limited the space. Comfort-wise, the pull-out was not great, but given it was a pull out, expectations were low. I would definitely recommend for families and would absolutely stay there again. The staff were all extremely responsive and helpful. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.
I.This hotel is a relatively new property for Marriott in London and ideally located within 15 mins walk from Tower Bridge. Decor is new and modern.
I had a smaller studio room that had a kitchen area/living room, Bathroom and separate bedroom. There isn't much room around the bed so you have to watch out for stubbing your toes on the base when moving around. The bed is comfortable though and plenty of outlets and USB charging ports.
The living room area was small but big enough for two people maybe with a small child but not 4 adults. The kitchen was very well equipped with a dishwasher, combo oven/microwave and hot plate with electric kettle. The combo oven/microwave was a bit tricky to use as there was no instructions on the icons for the different modes so a bit of trial and error was needed to sort it out.
There was large ceiling to floor windows with can be partially opened if the AC isn't getting the job done. I was on the backside of the hotel that overlooks a courtyard/alleyway between adjacent apartments so it was pretty quite. Might not be the case if your on the front side as the road seemed to be pretty busy. Nearby buildings are under construction but I wasn't aware of any noise from this activity.
Bathroom was very small with shower, sink and toilet only, no real storage. Also has a closet in the room and suitcase stand. The door into the room opened near flush with the opposite wall and the hall space is very narrow so can be hard to navigate with a big suitcase. I didn't realize where the bedroom was initially since with the main door open it was hidden behind the door.
Breakfast is pretty standard but plenty of selection though seating can get crowded during busy times. Hot drinks can be had 24/7 from the lobby.
Elevator is small 4 people max assuming no luggage but there are stairs off the lobby.
I found this hotel to have an ideal location. I was there 4 days and being able to get my own food was great. There is a Sainsburys 2 minute walk down the road so no issue on getting supplies. 10-15 mins walk will take you to Tower Bridge, Borough Market or Waterloo station depending on your direction. Northern and Jubilee Line stations are within 5 minutes.
K.This hotel was conveniently situated close to the Shard, tube and Borough Market. The room was huge and well decorated - it had a well appointed kitchen area with superb views, a nice lounge area and compact modern shower room. We loved it!

London Tube station is very close and accessible and from there you can get anywhere easily. The room was perfect for myself and my daughter, very nice and clean and functional. The staff was incredible and kind, and the breakfast in the morning, was the best continental breakfast I have ever seen anywhere. Great value, staff and location for the price.

p. m.The rooms are large and the location is pretty good. However, having stayed in many, many, Marriotts, we found this one to be quite lacking. They charged for a coffee pods in the room. The breakfast was horrible, often running out, and the food that they did have was horrible. The scrambled eggs was like milk soup. The shower head in the room was broken and would fall as you're trying to shower. Dishes were not cleaned by housekeeping.
I wouldn't stay here again.

S.I booked a room at the London Bridge Residence Inn initially for 3 days of business meetings, but was able to extend my trip for 3 days of being a tourist. My college age daughter accompanied me and we had 3 wonderful days of being a tourist. The 6 days of breakfast was outstanding, especially having the Latte/Coffee machine available anytime. We also used the laundry room once during the week. The front desk staff was always friendly and very helpful in printing tour tickets for a musical, a bus tour and Tower of London entry ticket we had purchased online.
The rooms were also fantastic, and roomy, with a great little kitchen, 2 TVs, and a very comfortable king-size bed with an extra down comforter. Finally, another benefit is the hotel is a great value for the money! I will definitely stay here on my next visit to London. It is also located very close to 2 Underground stations.

A strange lay out with the door and the sofa bed that doesn’t actually fit the room without a bit of re arrangement but it wasn’t too much of an issue.
Breakfast was a good selection but we just missed the warm food and we got the last of what was being replenished. The only thing I would suggest is a cloth to lift the handles on the warm food as they did get a bit sticky with everyone touching them, overall it was very clean and tidy.

E.It's not easy finding a good place to stay at a reasonable rate in London. However, RI London Bridge was perfect for us. The daily complementary breakfast was outstanding! It easily saved us hundreds during our weeklong stay. Also, the breakfast staff and the front desk personnel were so warm and friendly. They always had a smile and made us feel important.
H.The hotel staff was very friendly and helped with directions, taxis, questions, and holding luggage after our checkout so we could do a morning tour of London before returning to France on an afternoon train.

M. P.Location is great but it's located in a residential area which is bit weird for me. The other strange part is when you walk into your room, you will find yourself thinking this is but odd. As you walk in, it's your bed and bath then in the back past the little hallway is the living room and kitchen. I would expect the living room and kitchen should be first - strange.
Overall. Quality is good, included breakfast is great, staff are super friendly, and it is clean. Would recommend this place and would stay here again.
