Treated my mum to a birthday tea. Incredible experience, great service, and amazing desserts. Well priced for the quality. They even brought a special cake for my mum's birthday. The best afternoon tea in London I've had.

This review is for the security staff and the loading bay manager. I deliver to this place regularly and must admit they are some of the coolest guys I come across on my night shift. Always willing to help me get my boxes through the door and constantly telling me I need to slow down I work too hard. Just all round genuinely nice people.

Very pretty hotel and the bar is super fun downstairs. That said, the hospitality at the hotel left something to be desired. The relationship between the staff and guests felt extremely cold and corporate. Don't get me wrong - this is not a complaint about the staff or any particular staff member in particular. Rather, it is the culture of the hotel that seems to not place much emphasis on making the guests feel at home and well taken care of.

Excellent service. Everything maintained in tip top condition. Beautiful hotel for a London stay and well situated for most places of interest.

I am totally in love with this place. I have yet to stay, but I have been several times to eat. The interior within the hotel is out of this world. The food is elegant yet satisfyingly filling and the cocktail bar can be what you make of it. During the day you can sit by the fire drinking wine feeling all cozy and relaxed. And on the evening you can prep yourself up by the bar sipping on a well prepared cocktail whilst taking in the mood of the night.

This stunning hotel is the home to Scarfes bar which is always worth a trip. I was there for a work event and it was the best mass catered food I have ever had. This hotel is flawless, from the decor to the staff.

Absolutely amazing experience and Staff provide the best service I’ve had!
We stayed xmas eve overnight and had xmas lunch at their restaurant. From the moment we pulled up they literally took care of everything! We had such a relaxing time and the staff were super helpful, friendly and went out of their way to make sure our xmas stay was special. We had our daughter with us and the staff at Rosewood were exceptionally friendly with her. The hotel gave our daughter presents and a filled stocking, oh and santa visited the restaurant! She loved it! It was a really nice touch! My wife has stayed/visited several times and she really recommended the hotel to me and I’m so glad she did. We will be back. If you’re thinking of staying over xmas I can’t recommend it enough! It will be the most relaxing xmas you’ll have! Otherwise just go anyway, you won’t regret it! Thank you Rosewood Staff!

I love Rosewood. Not only is it a great hotel its also home to some of the best in London - best bar in London (Scarfes Bar) best high tea (the modern art afternoon tea) and best spa (the face place)

The Rosewood Art Afternoon Tea was a wonderful experience. Inside the amazing Mirror Room and sitting on a huge mustard coloured sofa we had a fabulous 3 course afternoon tea (2 courses for the kids). The meal included a selection of finger sandwiches (5 different types) and we were offered our favourite sandwich again, 2 scones each (with clotted cream, jam and lemon curd) accompanied with miniature cakes and finally 3 spectacular ‘art’ cakes (with a beautiful highly coloured glaze). The adults meal came with champagne and tea and the kids got hot chocolates. For 4 people with drinks and tip £290. Kids menu was £35 and adults £80. Well worth the money and although the food was stunning the sheer quantity of delicious treats meant we couldn’t finish it all!

This hotel is excellent. The staff are extremely helpful, accommodating and efficient. The suites are really good value or money (when you compare to the likes of Corinthia etc.). The building is stunning. I would very highly recommend.

I know this place as a function venue for Jewish celebrations. Ample rooms and space provided for the various stages of a wedding. The facility for kosher has vastly improved over the years.
M. K.
I've been going for years but forgotten to write a review.
Elegant Hotel, first class service, Scarfs Bar is the place to head for great wines & Wonderful live music.
Highly recommended.

We had afternoon tea at the Rosewood hotel and it was one of the best we have ever had. Rebecca our waitress went above and beyond to make our visit special. The food was exquisite, the service and ambience outstanding . We had a really lovely time. Thank you to all the staff who served us. Cannot recommend the experience
highly enough enough. Thank you!

Stunning Hotel and great service, check in was lovely.
We were upgraded to a deluxe suite which was very kind of them considering we are loyal to #ihg. The suite lacks decor with a few empty walls. Very simple and needs more dressing. We have stayed in better suites and I wanted to be wowed but felt and left alittle flat, however the bed is amazing. Would I stay again? I would rather try the four seasons at trinity Square to be honest. 🙄 Sorry.

Friends were staying and invited me to drinks and dinner .Gorgeous building and beautiful interiors. Not my ideal location for a 5 star hotel, but it is in Central London.
N. B.
Amazing hotel. Staff all very smart, polite and helpful. Went to a wedding in the Grand Ballroom which was fantastic.
Only one little criticism - the staff photographers were too intrusive and spoilt the atmosphere somewhat.
R. P.
Definitely a five star hotel. Staff were friendly and attentive. Room was exceptional, with everything you would want in it. Situated well to use as a base in London.
J. M.
Best place for a drink! The bar has live music. I would recommend it!

I love this place, loved how they used Yayoi Kusama's work in their dishes especially the desserts. The menu was very intriguing as you don't get many tasty and presentable Japanese afternoon tea in London.
The food was so lovely and creative, definitely worth the money spent.
Rosewood hotel has multiple of rooms which are designed differently from others, never gets boring as you explore the rooms.
If you're up for a classy and sophisticated venue to dine in, then this place is for you.
M. M.
Breakfast menu extremely boring. Coffee was horrendous, so burnt i could not finish it. Omelette was nice, nothing to fault. Paid above £50 for a breakfast for 2: 2 omelettes, 2 juices and 2 coffees. Defo Not worth it.
A.
Most fascinating style and archietecture. Everything is so beautifully designed and the most amazing hotel even down to the the bathrooms. So tasteful and flawless.
P. P.
Went for a wedding. Superb. Best. (And I've been to 2 of my own, 4 of my children's and lots..). Not many places still have 5* staff.
L. M.
Lovely afternoon tea, good value.
Very friendly staff, not the most discreet but lovely all the same! I can't wait to come back
A. K.
Not clear about entrance/exit ...should be sign posted. Staff are very friendly. Had to ask for toothpaste. For the price I would have expected more beverages maybe a couple of biscuits as you would even when you travel to couch hotels in India.
A. J.
Lovely staff and service Yousef, Naj, Magdalene were amazing!
Rooms aren't very large but that's typical of cities like London.

The Rosewood is an elegant hotel that certainly makes you think you’ve stepped back in time to a truly graceful age. The Yayoi Kusama art inspired afternoon tea is served in the marvellous Mirror Room. The decor is bold, awe inspiring and the rich colours make it feel very cozy.
The service we received really stood out. It was very warm and equally efficient and the young italian gentleman who looked after us was very attentive. It’s the sort of attention that makes you feel glamorous.
The tea they served from Mariage Frères was truly incredible and even converted an avid coffee lover amongst us. The matcha tea was expertly prepared and whisked at the table and was delightful to both watch and drink. However, I highly recommend the Marco Polo Tea which was so unique and probably the best tea I have had to date.
The selection of japanese sandwiches were so fresh and delicious with some fantastic flavour combinations. I am an avid meat lover, but I had to go for seconds of the cucumber, cream cheese and shichimi sandwiches which were a delight.
The scones were lovely with a choice of lemon curd and elderberry jam alongside the Cornish clotted cream.
From the Kusama inspired pastries, I think the red 'All my Love for Tulips' was the most visually stunning, but the showstopper both in taste and texture was the green 'Flowers that bloom at Midnight' pastry.
As we were celebrating a Birthday, the chef presented us with a very delicious and stunning extra pastry. It was such a lovely touch and really brought a smile to our face and a delight for our tastebuds.
Overall, I really enjoyed our experience at The Rosewood and would definitely come back.
C. T.
Excellent in all ways, we were made to feel special & they couldn't do enough for us. Excellent meal & gins!🍸

Rosewood hotel is a gloriously classic luxury hotel with impeccable taste and eye for detail. Definitely among one of my preferred haunts while in London
D. D.
Went for the Yayoi Kusama Afternoon Tea, a lovely place and reasonably priced at £65 without alcohol and unlimited tea / coffee. Sandwiches were a little dry and disappointing though.
B. M.
Had a wonderful meal here. Amazing food and great service. Highly recommend.
J. W.
Not sure how they let me in the bar here. But it is very nice. Way too nice for me.
A. G.
Went there sometime ago for Van Gogh afternoon tea experience which our family absolutely enjoyed. The design of the venue and restaurant is very stylish, food was great and service exceptional. Will definitely be back again.
D. L.
My my, what an experience. So Authentic, so Chick, so Different, so Outstanding. 5 star from start to finish. Well deserved !

Exceptional!! Staff, service, drinks and jazz were worth every penny. Fantastic evening. Thank you.

Loved the live music at Scarfes bar.. lovely hotel. Will visit again

An amazing hotel with exceptional service in the heart of London. My family and I stayed overnight for my daughter’s graduation in July and were very impressed by the front office staff and the bartenders.
C. B.
Good venue for a black tie event, catering was very good for the numbers and service was impeccable.
G. H.
Great service and I very much enjoyed the food. The Holburn burger was delicious! The restaurant is a very grand salon with plenty of space for a leisurely lunch or dinner.

We recently (10 October) hosted our wedding reception at Rosewood, and received exemplary service throughout. The hotel is absolutely stunning and the staff were nothing short of brilliant from our first interaction to checking out. We stayed two nights in a gorgeous suite, as well as hosting our reception at The Terrace. The food was amazing and our guests haven’t stopped complimenting the food, wine and service. We’re so happy with how the experience went and we can’t wait to visit again.
R. L.
Was actually filming there but the hotel looked great. Would love to stay there.
M. V.
I came here for afternoon tea. I did find the space a bit too yellow and dark.
Otherwise it is a very love place for tea and the accompaniments are quite good as well.
M. K.
Stunning hotel, incredibly helpful staff. Pricey but highly recommended.
A. P.
Thank you to all the staff at the Rosewood for a relaxing and stress free weekend.
A special thanks to Alberto, Bruno, Satish and Noor Adin. You made our stay wonderful.
After months in lockdown it was a relief to finally have a luxurious weekend away.
I’m so grateful to all the staff that during these trying times they all worked so hard to accommodate our requests. Till the next time, thank you.
S. H.
Great location with great staff; especially Magdalena in Reception and Carlos at the Bar!
E. S.
Don't be fooled by the pictures on their website: you won't necessarily be seated underneath their lovely terraced area. We were sandwiched between it and a wall. The food was good, but the service was brusk and unknowledgeable. The wine list was limited and overpriced. We enjoyed the heated seat cushions, but had to ask five times to replace the gas in the space heater even though it was a cold night. My partner had organised a birthday cake but it didn't arrive (thankfully they didn't charge for it)
S. A.
Possibly the best place to stay in town always have amazing clients to massage, beautiful beautiful place.
B. C.
The courtyard terrace is lovely for a drink. Excellent service and beautiful people.
J. S.
Lovely hotel and fantastic service, shame so many of the facilities were closed on the Monday/Tuesday of our visit.
G. C.
We booked our trip through AMEX Travel. The benefits are very attractive:
- Early (12pm) check in, late (4pm) check out
- Complimentary breakfast for 2
- £85 free credits
- Room upgrade
We could enjoy most of the benefits which made our experience with Rosewood even better.
From decoration to staff uniform, Rosewood put a lot of efforts in the design. It’s classy yet chic, which is perfect for young couples like us.
The level of service and quality of amenities are excellent. I’d like to show the appreciation to all the staffs, especially Julie and Paron, to make us feel like home. Room service is very efficient, breakfast took only 20min, which was out of our expectation.
The quality of food was quite good. I’d suggest to order Fish and Chips. The super juice was also a good choice to have for breakfast.
It’s such a shame that there is no swimming pool in the hotel. However, the bathtub in our suite can satisfy me already.
I wish there is a loyalty club for Rosewood because I will definitely come back and visit other Rosewood branches.
J.
Amazing food, atmosphere and a service! Totally recommended!

We have photographed weddings at both Rosewood in Thailand and the magnificent Rosewood London. You can’t get more sophisticated and elegant than this. A stunning hotel in the heart of London and a perfect place for a wedding. We can’t wait to go back.

We came here specifically to try the Kusama Art afternoon tea in the Mirror Room - a traditional afternoon tea with a Japanese twist and inspired by Yayoi Kusama. It was very well done and worth trying. The Kusama inspired pastries were beautifully made and very pretty. My only disappointment was that the central bit of each pastry was a mousse sitting on a sable - though they were all a different flavour, it still felt quite the same taste-wise and texture-wise.
R.
Great afternoon tea inspired in yayoi kusama art. Friendly staff. The sandwiches were really nice and tasty there was one with chicken which was delicious!
K. S.
Stayed here for one night back in March. Beautiful hotel everything was perfect. Can't wait to stay again when there are no covid restrictions to make use of all the facilities.

Attended the forces 21st anniversary there and the setting, food and ambience was excellent

Decent hotel with arrogant staff members!

Friendly helpful staff easy to find close to Holborn station , wonderful cuisine.Lived up to expectations and beyond.Thanks.

Super fancy, I went to the cocktail bar with some friends. They had live Jazz music - amazing ambience for sure. Expensive as you would expect but if you're willing to splurge then you're surely going to have a great time here.
D. T.
Good customer service, delicious food, and a very cozy environment ❤
K. B.
Fabulous place on so many levels. We love all the bars and restaurants and services in this hotel, and had a lovely dinner on the terrace during Covid 19.
K. D.
Lovely atmosphere, fantastic live music.
C. E.
Lovely restaurant serving food of the season. Delicious food, excellent service with nice outdoor seating. Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful hotel with really friendly and helpful staff. Loved the fact how we could enjoy a calm and serene stay at this place as its away from the bustling roads. Definitely coming back for another great stay.

We had the afternoon tea and it was fantastic. Truly one of the best meals my wife and I have ever had. The egg salad with truffle sandwich was divine and the tart was one of the best bites of food I have ever eaten. Well worth the price and a stop everyone should try to make if they can. The staff was awesome and accommodating with great tea recommendations and explanations for those of us that don’t know anything about tea (for instance...me!). My wife loved the decor and atmosphere as well. Just a great time.

The bar with cocktails is very nice very good drinks. However the taff at the dining room bar is not very professional and helpful.
The dining room is very nice and pleasant. The service is ok. The food is fine but definitely too salty. I be been twice for dinner and always found it too salty and not refined enough
J. H.
Great selection of bars and eateries. I particularly enjoy the terrace pop ups year round. Spacious and well appointed bedrooms. Lively atmosphere in Scarfes even when the live music isn't on. I love the challenge of the extensive gin bible...it might take some time but I'm not giving up yet. Great pies and the fish and chips are huge and delicious!
C. P.
Been there for a wedding and it is very beautiful elegant and stylish
J. T.
Totally perfect. Exceptional service and attention to detail.

Lovely Bar/Hotel! Very friendly staff

The afternoon tea here was a lovely experience. It’s in collaboration with royal academy of art and each course has some art design behind, which the waiter is more than happy to explain in detail. All very tasty and a good selection of tea to choose from. Nice ambience as well with great standard of service.
S. L.
We had afternoon tea and the scones were the best in the world. Totally delicious. The sandwiches especially the chicken ones were great too. Patisserie was yummy. The third course was good and inventive but not as good as the sandwiches and scones. Beautiful setting and a fantastic selection of teas. Service could have been a little quicker at the beginning. Took 25 minutes to order. After that, fantastic.
J. G.
A luxury hotel in the middle of London, high quality and also expensive. A good place for business meetings. The restaurant have great service. During the day the internal yard is a lovely place for coffee or a noon drink. The bar is really nice although it's close those days for renovation. Recommend to book a table in advance.
Enjoy

Amazing room, outstanding guest relations. I had a conference, and they helped me a lot in preparation for speech. .. You can't go wrong here! Plus they have a very delicious salad
Airport pick up was an excellent service
L. E.
Lovely hotel good staff.

Wow, what a hotel, from the moment we arrived we were looked after. The valet parking was excellent, we arrived they came out opened our doors, took our cases & escorted us to reception. Laura on reception was really nice & showed us to our room which had recently been refurbished & was lovely.
We loved our stay here & we will definitely be going back.
L. C.
A beautiful building and they seemed very friendly as a friend and I walked into the bar looking for a nice place to sit for a drink despite not staying at the hotel. The bar staff talked us through the cocktail options and really knew their stuff. Would love to stay another time.
A. D.
Went for tea here and was astounded by the ambiance, beauty, and delicious tea service. The scones and sandwiches were to-die-for, even the gluten free options! We also had bubbly and did the art tea pairing... loved the bubbly but did not appreciate the tea as much as I would liked to, though that may be my unsophisticated tea palate! I also liked that this was a more modern take on tea... no floral patterns or doilies here. It's all glass and marble, and the pieces can be a bit abstract as they are inspired by the latest big exhibit at the royal academy or VA etc.
M. L.
Wow where shall I start - what a fantastic hotel! I went with my husband to celebrate his Birthday, we had a gorgeous suite with Butler Service. The experience was wonderful and a great treat. The room was perfect, comfortable with all the amenities. The staff were attentive and professional. No detail was forgotten! I can't wait to go back. The dinner was delicious in the Holborn Dining Room and the breakfast was also excellent in the Mirror Room. I highly recommend this hotel! it's worth every penny........... The Hotel Manager Remus is awesome! You do everything right at this hotel - MAGNIFICENT!
M. C.
We were so impressed with the venue and the staff on check in, so helpful but not in your face. All the staff were pleasant and accomodating and nothing was too much trouble. It's pricey, so you kind of expect it but we definitely felt like it was 5 star. Breakfast was a massive let down, not the food or the ambience but we got forgotten for about 30 minutes and then the staff struggled to get our orders right. Fair play though, no excuses and they remedied fairly well when asked. However the room manager as we assume then took it on himself to try and remedy and suggested we try the afternoon tea the same day to ensure we did not leave with a bad impression. Top marks, not intrusive but proud of his team and confident they would make it up. NO one else had issues at breakfast, and he was right. Top drawer afternoon tea!!! Beautiful venue, caring staff.
G. K.
Absolutely amazing! My Dad and I were only there for about an hour but in that time we met their very kind and polite staff, used their immaculate toilets and free chocolates. I loved it and would definitely stay in their hotel in the future.

Our recent stay at the Rosewood was nothing short of amazing! I don’t often write reviews but our experience was so good that I have to leave one! The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of London and within easy walking distance to Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, Oxford Circus etc. Our room was beautiful, extremely spacious and comfortable and couldn’t have been better for the 2 of us and our 3 months old baby. The facilities were absolutely beautiful. But the highlight of the stay was the outstanding service we received. The team was so lovely, friendly and attentive and they really made us feel at home! I felt that they were genuinely excited to have our baby boy as their guest and determined to do everything possible to make our stay as good as it could possibly be. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to for our next stay. I can’t recommend the hotel highly enough.
P. F.
We went at the bar for couple of cocktails! Thanks to Luca for his amazing service!
The venue is beautifully , they do live music every night! The Bar has a beautiful selection of cocktails!
I Will definitely come back!
a. t.
Great service that makes you feel like royalty.
Food was presented beautifully like jewelry in a case , the setting/ decor was on point too.
You have three courses starting with sandwiches, next you move on to the scones and small pastrys. And finally you finish with their beautifully crafted cakes inspired by famous artist.
The only reason I did not give 5 stars was some of the food items were just mediocre and the tea just weren't that good.
However I would still recommend and would be happy to come back.
Z. H.
In my opinion, the best hotel in London. I’ve been to a few ones but Rosewood’s always a delight to stay at. Super friendly staff members, if you need anything you get it immediately. Great Location in the centre of London and the rooms are bright and spacious (which is unusual for London standards). I love it!
A. U. K.
I was only here for a meeting but in the few hours was there it was awesome. The decor, the furniture and the ambience. It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of London and very unique. The toilets are amazing. I love a luxury loo. Can't say I have stayed here but seems like a luxury place to stay.Nice
L. P.
Simply a luxurious and indulgent experience. Where art meets your palate. Service was spot on and very friendly. Not to miss if you want to try a state of the art high tea.
K. M.
The lobby, the bar and the courtyard are classic, making a stay at the Rosewood a must. Everything about this hotel is done well, except the rooms. The rooms are in serious need of updating. Some serious attention to the rooms and this place hits 5 stars every time. Great staff, which is typical of a fine London hotel. Even if you don't stay the night, you should check out the bar!

Had a very late breakfast (Full English), brunch really, and it was delicious. One of the best, paid breakfasts I've had. Extremely filling, very well cooked and hot. I went for the set menu that offered food, coffee/tea and juice for one one price. Service was top-notch. Great interiors and atmosphere. Will be going back again, highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay here to celebrate our marriage. The service was impeccable and understated, our suite, white we were kindly upgraded to, was huge, clean and very comfortably and we just loved every moment of our stay.
After I had considered every high end hotel in central London for our celebration, Rosewood gave me most reason to expect a good time and they didn’t disappoint. We’ll be back again very soon.
E. W.
This is a stunning hotel in Central London. The service is exemplary and all the staff we met were both friendly and professional. The accommodation is of the highest order.

This hotel is one of my London favorites. It's super luxurious, perfectly decorated and offers supreme service. During December the hotel has a beautiful tree outside the entrance which really makes you feel like you're celebrating Christmas! It brings back alot of childhood memories for me. I highly recommend this hotel for business traveller's and families as well. Also the spa offers great treatments and a space to relax and unwind!
It's two minutes walk from Holborn station and a collection of shops and coffee shops as well.
C. H.
This hotel is simply amazing! Beautiful decor and very comfortable large rooms. Have treatment in the spa too which was just the best way to finish our anniversary night. Many thanks will will return as soon as we can.
K. R.
Service outstanding, full points on that. Exciting bar. Limited selection of wine by the glass. Huge round table in room - why? Living Room furnished like restaurant, it could be improved.
A. V.
I've come here several times for a drink and have never been disappointed. Service is great (please note I'm American so this sets the bar high), drinks are delicious, decor at Scarfes Bar has character, and there is live jazz!! Can't speak to the rooms... But if it's as swanky as the rest of the hotel, I'm in! Also, brunch is yummy too.
E. G.
Top class hotel. Got room service twice - which I've found to be average at best elsewhere - but was absolutely delicious here. Breakfast wasn't great, would recommend somewhere else for that close by, like The Delauney for instance. Very comfortable beds, large rooms, great showers. Staff were superb.
M. “. N.
Lovely stay, always helpful staff, taking you to where ever you wanted to go. Room and bed was amazing. We had a lovely breakfast and they took care of us during our stay
T. M.
We stayed here for our 25th Wedding Anniversary as a real treat and were not disappointed. As we were celebrating an occasion the hotel provided us with champagne and a gorgeous chocolate dessert to share. The staff had kindly made us an anniversary cake which was a lovely surprise and tasted devine.
A. B.
Lovely hotel, beautiful room but not quite as clean as I'd expect from a 5 star hotel. Curtains in the room have a large stain on them and the plug in the sink does not work. Breakfast was great but the service not up to scratch, clearing one person's plate away before the other had finished, also got the order wrong for breakfast.
N.
Came here for an afternoon tea to celebrate friend's birthday. The sandwich, cakes, different types of teas was amazing. The atmosphere was awesome including the services. Could not have asked for a better Afternoon/evening and will definitely come again. Such a great place to relax with friends or family.
D. P.
A beautiful hotel in the Holborn area of London. We stayed one night and had afternoon tea. The hotel and rooms are modern and well appointed. We had afternoon tea in the Mirror Room which was wonderful. There is a gym but it’s quite small and a few of the machines were not working, which was disappointing. Nevertheless, a very enjoyable stay.
R. L.
Excellent traditional English hotel - room was good with a comfy bed. Nice bathroom with mirrored tiles. The breakfast was good too and the decor sets it apart. Close to the station if you wish to use it. Service is excellent - right from the bell boys, check in etc. the scrafes bar is fabulous - their cocktails and live music was fabulous. Best was a pre Xmas party when we arrived with champagne and food - free. That’s amazing.
Only negatives - were the elevator and that my room faced an office block. (310)
Would certainly stay again.
G. M.
Nice building in a nice area of London. Rooms are quite large, beds are very comfortable and bathrooms are very nice. Breakfast is a bit long and animation in the lobby would be appreciated. Good service overall.
K. H.
Top hotel with great staff
L. C.
So stylish and elegant hotel
P. R.
Great place to eat, drink and socialise. Decor is spot on and the restaurant has a perfect buzz that means you can hear the people you're with but also feel the rest of the surroundings.
A. O.
One of my favourite London hotels. It is a 5 star hotel in every way. The ambience, staff, service and attention to detail does the place tremendous justice. A great place for an afternoon tea or a meeting close to Holborn tube station.
D. K.
Classy, warm, well managed.

I was in London for 4 days with my girlfriend, during Thanksgiving, and we were Rosewood Hotel guests.
The location is amazing, but most of all the cure of details and the service are outstanding.
Every additional request I had was fulfilled: early check in, late check out, private clubs reservation, and so on..
During our stay we also visited other hotels in town for food or drinks; I found only a couple of ones at the same level, but I believe Rosewood is the best one.
My girlfriend was so happy that I decided to anticipate my wedding proposal and do it there.
The director Michael Bonsor took care of it quickly and efficiently - and even last minute he was able to accommodate ever single detail.
The last day someone of the staff escorted us with an excuse in the Scarfes Bar. It was empty, there were only a piano player waiting for us; flowers, champagne, some well designed pastries; a hostess from the hotel hidden in a corner to discreetly record the proposal to have a memory of the moment.
While my girlfriend was trying to figure out what was going on, our escort disappeared and I went down on my knee, asking her if she wanted to marry me.
It was an unforgettable moment, everything was perfect and organized exactly in the way I had in my mind.
Rosewood London is definitely a place I would warmly recommend.
And by the way, she said yes!
T. M.
Nestled down a path off the main road you will find this beautiful hotel. Theatres are very close and are an easy walk away. The service help are excellent and the choices were what I expected in London. The amenities are quite nice. We had a suite and not silly expensive.
L. S.
I went to the bar for the night The Scarfes. The ambience was simply amazing, great if you want to treat your partner or friends for a great night. Well dressed waiters, live music and great cocktails. Slight pricey, but it's worth it.
C. B.
This hotel has impeccable service. Even to the point of fully taking care of you. I had an experience where I was inebriated and fell on the marble floor, the door man helped me up, cleaned me up, and took me to my room. Will stay here anytime I come to London. Truly amazing service.
T. M.
Have stayed before and I really like the location. I love it being so close to Holborn tube as it's just easy to hop on and off the tube as I can't be bothered with taxi's at the moment unless I have to. I'm sure the Bride and Groom were delighted, because all the guests had a wonderful time.
S. A.
Delightful hotel with fabulous service. Beautiful bar downstairs, cute birds in cages on the stairway, candy in bowls by the elevator, attentive staff everywhere. Spa is nice too
M. B.
Stunning hotel! Stunning food.

Stunning hotel, the best one in London. Love this place, everything is just perfect, rooms are specious, clean and super service. Everything what you need if you are looking for luxury 5* is there. Thank you for making our stay amazing, we will be back.
S. J.
Beautiful hotel with perfect location! Superb staff and service on all positions! Really nice decorated rooms with the best beds :-). Our son got sick in the late evening and in 20 min we were in a new room with an extra bed for our son. Thank you!

For style, comfort, cleanliness, attention to detail, outstanding staff at every level, ambiance, quality and selection of food, amenities, location and overall pleasure - this is without question the best hotel in London.
This is more than having somewhere lovely to stay - it's about actually enjoying every element the hotel has put together with such care and style, presented by staff who are friendly, well trained, respectful and who genuinely seem to want you to have the best possible experience. Exceptional.
A. D.
One of the best hotels in London.
I often go in after work to meet clients and discuss business.
The staff are very attentive in their restaurant and I am always made to feel very welcome.
I would recommend Rosewood for overnight stays and also for meetings and other social engagements.
C. S.
It was a pleasure to enjoy a decadent afternoon tea in beautiful surroundings at the Mirror Room. It’s no wonder their afternoon tea has won awards, its art-inspired sweet treats were lovely look at and delicious to eat. There was also a wide selection of tea to choose from. I would highly recommend anyone looking for somewhere extra special to enjoy an afternoon.

Five stars for a five star hotel. The check-in process was difficult as they didn't seem to be able to take full payment up front for the stay and use another card for incidentals. They soon fixed this inconvenience with excellent service, including a beautiful little cake for our wedding anniversary and complimentary mulled gin in the outdoor bar. The rest of the staff ensured we had memorable stay.
K. L.
Five stars all the way from the lovely door man to all the staff the food everything was great not the cheapest place we've ever stayed in but probably the best.
The rest of the area of holborn is like a mad house , but when you are inside the hotel you feel you could be anywhere in the world a quite serene environment .
First class .highly recomend , even if you just go for a meal you won't regret it, it's a hidden gem of london.
T. M.
Wonderful weekend stay, from the moment we arrived to our departure we were treated like royalty. For shopping you will need a 10 -15 min walk. The rooms are high quality with all of the amenities that you would expect from a hotel of this standard. Luxury with affordable rate.
R. X.
We went to the Mirror Room for afternoon tea, and it was delightful! They have a very unique take on afternoon tea, and their pastries are inspired by contemporary art! The service was incredible and very attentive and they made us feel really welcome. Would recommend for a modern interpretation for afternoon tea!
J. C.
The Hotel is really British style such as how the staff dress up and how the in-door decorating is will give you traditional England's feeling. The hotel service is also great. Definitely will come back next time.
H. S.
Hotel is great, rooms are comfy but small, if you get courtyard view its amazing other views may not be wow, bathroom is so comfy and elegant. Price is bit high, location is the only down side to the hotel as its far from main places in central london.stayed there for 3 nights
S. T.
The bar was a little awkward at first but the server helped up find our groove. We had great gin based drinks and had a good client meeting. I'd like to explore staying there. I did notice there was a courtyard patio that was gorgeous.
T. M.
I stayed here with a few friends and I was blown away at how beautiful the building was, especially the staircase. The location is very good if you are going to the theater. The staff is helpful And very accommodating. Staff were excellent and service good Highly recommended as a treat.
T. M.
I have nont been so amazed and raved about a hotel for so longI feel i just had to write the most amazing review to tell everyone that they need to experience the luxury of this hotel. Great location within easy walking or cab to everything. The hotel even provided a list of dog friendly pubs/bars and parks.
J. B.
Really nice top hotel
T. G.
My wife and I stayed for 1 night at the Chancery Court 0 3 May 2013. It was our first visit and hopefully will not be our last. The staff and service was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were very polite and respectful. Our room was spotless and faultless, apart from a small malfunction of the bathroom basin plug. Our stay included a full breakfast and we were overwhelmed by the choice and food quality. First class in every respect and recommended to anyone staying in London.
K. J. Y.
This hotel has distinctive interior design and decorations that make them stand out amongst countless competitors in the city of London. Located in Holborn it is close to many places that are must visit in London. Also the hotel has a great spa. Their gym is actually very small for the hotel this size.
M. S.
Wonderful Hotel in a great Location. As a London Wedding Photographer I've been lucky to photograph some lovely weddings here and this location is always spectacular. Not to mention those wonderful birds next to the marble staircase :)
K. H.
Hotel staff is incredibly friendly and accommodates every need or questions I have. Room was made and organized every morning. Mattress is incredibly comfortable. Absolutely recommend for a few nights stay.
W. W.
The absolute best hotel my family and I have ever stayed in, anywhere in the world. Staff treated us as family and we were assisted every day. Rooms were gorgeous and had some nice views of the London skyline. Highly recommend!
S. C.
Very lux modern hotel in classic stately building. Winter Pop up elyx Chalet bar in court yard is great fun mulled wine is excellent, as is coffee chocolate cocktail. Have breakfast in Holborn dinning room at entrance gate significantly better than in main lounge off lobby.
G. J.
Elegant seating and good music but the beverages are too expensive. Inexplicably expensive!. In the end, even if creativity is appreciated, the spirits ans wines are the same as everywhere and can be found in supermarket. So there is no special reason to pay 20£ for an average coctail. Good, but still average. There is only so much you can do with drinks really..
R. R.
Honestly... best bar experience I have ever had.. fantastic service by dedicated staff who are very knowledgable about alcoholic drinks .. you definitely leave feeling like you have been well looked after, and there is no doubt I will return on my next visit to London with my wife. I've read comments about it being expensive. At £16 a drink maybe I can understand that, but in fairness you are not just getting a drink, you are getting a fantastic experience too. Thank you.
j. l.
Classic charm mixed with modern style. Scarfes bar is like jumping into the Great Gatsby among voluptious wood and brass furnishings, live music, (in the winter) a roaring fire, and joyous sophisticated crowd. Not a huge fan of the rooms, a bit cold/more corporate.
M. M.
One would never know that this place existed in the heart of London. You dont hear the noise of the London traffic. It's a beautiful and peaceful place to go for a drink or a bite to eat. The courtyard is lovely to sit in. Very cosy. Great service too.
R. L.
After a wonderful trip to the British Museum, we walked in from the street to see if we could have some tea and found our way in to the wonderful mirror room.
The space is truly remarkable, and really does live up to its name, with massive floor to ceiling mirrors, grand flower arrangements and existentially lit lounge space.
Here we had a sumptuous experience where we sipped rich fine teas, sandwiches, cakes and sweets to our hearts content.
The staff were wonderful, the tea expert on hand was hilarious and it was overall a really memorable experience, will most definitely be back.
Sunday Afternoon, its quiet and a wonderful secret place to chill out.
5 gold stars from us.
T. M.
We have found our ""must go to"" hotel in London, from the minute you walk through the main doors you know its going to a wonderful experience. Meal in the Mirror Room for a private function was just fabulous. The Hotel is centrally located to everything in London. Breakfast was worth every penny.
T. M.
Stunning looking on the outside and fabulous interior finishes Bedroom 352 was quiet and spacious for London Hotel. The hotel is in a very good location. The hotel was spotless. The restaurant on the street front of Holburn was a bistro and had excellent seafood with the price to match.
A. F.
I enjoyed a weekend here a few years ago now, I have stayed here every time I have returned to London since. A great option in a great location. The rooms were lovely and all the staff make you feel right at home!
G. T.
I have never stayed at this hotel but have dined here many times with work. It's just lovely. Great bar, attentive staff, great food and also now dog friendly. One of the best venues to visit in Holborn.
P. L.
Fantastic mini bar selection. Great restaurant with a nice selection of snacks for those looking for a light bite. Nice Camden Larger on tap and knowledge bar staff who will talk you through any cocktail.
R. S.
Fantastic afternoon tea celebrating Yayoi Kusama’s art.
J. d.
Great place to eat in the Holborn Dining Room! Too long hours for staff tho.. Food was good definately fresh and well prepared, Desserts there are amaizing and most desserts cater for special dietary requirements!! (More than just the icing on the cake)
B. L. W.
I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a high standard service and facilities with cosy feel to them. I photographed part of a wedding there recently and was very impressed with the exterior and interior of the hotel. All the rooms, the restaurants, the bar made for beautiful backdrops for the photos. Staff were helpful and attentive. If you're looking for a great venue for your celebration in central london, Rosewood ticks all the boxes.
V. F.
Superb atmosphere. Thought the drinks were a bit pricey but a lovely place
D. H.
Excellent service and does a fantastic job. There were very professional and nice staff.Good quality food, rooms are big and clean.I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone without hesitation.
C. P.
Beautifully maintained property and excellent service. Unfortunately all restaurants close quite early and do not allow for a late dinner after a concert; late night room service menu is rather limited.
N. D.
such a lovely bar but wow - keep an eye on the cost of drinks. Drinks alone I spent 100 quid a head catching up with a friend the other day. You know its going to be expensive given the hotel but even by 5 star hotel standards this is on the steep side - youd expect in Mayfair but its Holborn. The piano adds a lot of character. The gin bar outside is also a nice addition.
S. C.
In benchmarking with another hotel in the same category, it is luxurious but a bit dated. The service had some minor hickups. It's personal taste and preferences, but I felt more like a visitor then a guest.
T. T.
I love the spa and got a very nice hot stone treatment! The best I have ever had and I have tried spas in many places... The bar and their drinks are fantastic! I have stayed at the hotel for some years ago and it is very nice but it took them two nights before they could give us a fleece blanket instead of the eiderdown cover my husband is allergic to. We were freezing the first night but the next we turned up the heat to max and then it was fine to sleep with just the sheet. After that they found us a blanket. =)
M. B.
Another fantastic Rosewood hotel. Good location between Soho, Covent Garden and Clerkenwell, lovely building, classic and cozy bar although not large. Not cheap but Rosewood never is, definitely worth a visit
C. D.
Didn’t stay as a hotel visitor, but their afternoon tea is worth every cent! It’s a more modern tea experience, but with many of the traditional items! You won’t regret it.
Z. L.
Set in a beautiful building with a really neat and clean interior design. The rooms are clean and streamlined, with low profile furniture and simple decor. Food is delicious and a decent value compared to some other five star hotels. Comfortable beds and genuinely friendly and social staff make for an easy and relaxing experience. Booked two rooms and the single of our group of 3 got a larger room with a separate shower and tub while my wife and I are sharing a tub with a shower head, but it seems a minor compaint overall. Had very high expectations coming from our previous Rosewood experience at Las Ventanas, and happy to say that we are glad we chose a Rosewood again.
D. W.
Good hotel, clean and quite. The service is excellent. We stayed the 2 beds room suit. Very comfortable 🥰
R. J.
Love, love, love this hotel. It makes you feel a world away from the bustling city from the moment you enter the serene courtyard entrance. Rosewood London offers luxury at its best - from the well-dressed doormen to the marble-clad interior. The service, beautiful decor, excellent dining spaces and super-comfortable suites deserve five stars.
M. H.
Beautiful 5 star hotel
N. R.
All day open dining room. Excellent service. Better try shrimpburger. Many delicacies desirable to dine there. Crab delicacies rare at other places here available. Rates also reasonable.
M. T.
My wife and I met at this building when we worked there over 50 years ago so it was a nostalgic visit for our 50th wedding anniversary. Reception staff were excellent - knowledgeable and very friendly. Someone managed to lose our small bag for an hour or so but it did turn up eventually with many apologies. It's not the type of place where one is allowed to carry one's own bag even though it would certainly have been the most efficient.
The hotel has been superbly restored but as a listed building many recognisable features have been retained so we enjoyed the feeling of nostalgia and romanticism for which we had aimed.
It would normally be light years away from where we would normally stay so for us prices are eye wateringly expensive but we can manage it for very special occasions - just!
We particularly liked Scarfe's bar in the evening with the musical trio. Wonderful ambience and full of bright young things - well paid professionals I imagine.
The quality of the room was wonderful with everything we needed. Took us a little time to work out the technicalities of the equipment and I had to telephone reception to find out how to start the coffee machine. No instructions in sight! We slept well in the enormous bed. The outlook from the room was rather scruffy.
We had breakfast in the Holborn restaurant. Now this was slightly odd since it is a very very large restaurant but not very busy. However, we were shown to a tiny table where there was really insufficient room to lay out all the food and accoutrements. I'm not sure why we did not say anything at the time but the decision of staff was odd in the circumstances. They made things unnecessarily difficult for themselves and us.
If you have plenty of money it's a luxurious place to stay. All in all a good experience - I really wanted to give it 3.5 stars as they did not quite hit the heights that one would expect from their clear ambitions but I have erred on the side of generosity.
J. M.
Exquisite. As top class as a top class hotel can be.
I rate hotels on the quality of its staff. These are polite, informative, efficient, friendly, and a pleasure to work with.
Nothing it too much bother.
B. P.
AWESOME - I rarely get this excited to write a hotel review (and I like to write) but the staff at Rosewood London deserve a passionate post. After I booked online, I received a pre-stay questionnaire which I completed. I was pleasantly surprised how helpful the survey process was to plan a perfect stay in London. The hotel staff booked restaurants and spa appointments for my wife and I, in advance. Their recommendations were amazing; two perfect dinners in London. The hotel has ample staff who are ready to serve you. The concierge staff were delightful and well connected. The room was clean, wonderfully quiet, spacious, well designed, and filled with amenities. I loved that the room had a Nespresso coffee maker, stocked refrigerator, ample bottles of water, multiple electric connections (UK, US, and EU), fast WiFi, a safe, large TV, room darkening shades, soaking tub, and extra bath linens. Breakfast was included in my room rate and the food was delicious. The Spa staff were professional and cheery; it was clear that they liked their jobs. I travel 200+ days a year and this was a perfect way to end the year. I would highly recommend Rosewood London to anyone who wants a memorable, pampered, first-class experience.
B. C.
hotel is amazing, but bathroom is way too small, and they have lazy housekeeping team, don't clean very well, room and toilet are full of dust and just feel dirty. a 3 star for my very bad experience
S. R.
Such a jazzy place, the ambience and the food, the service, and yess the music defenetly
It is in London and cold, so if you arround the chamber area, come here and warm you body up.
Its great !

The drinks are pricey but they are worth it - expertly mixed by superb bartenders. Great decor & a lovely vibe. Definitely a great place to have a tipple.
S. E.
What a stunning hotel this is. It looks absolutely amazing and the service is second to none.

Very cozy beautiful and classy hotel

The most perfect bed i have ever slept in. Staff was very nice. Great cocktails in the Botanic garden. Fantastic entrance. I suggest the eggs benedict for breakfest.
M. H.
I had a fantastic stay at Rosewood, it's such a luxury to have a room so large, and with no issues, silence, dark when I want to sleep, step out the door and you're in the heart of things. I mean seriously, this is a top-notch urban hotel with classic touches that let you know you're in London.
D. K.
Went here for Afternoon Tea. The presentation and flavors were all excellent, as was the decor. A few downsides: 1) We were told the tea would be over in 2.5 hours. It took 4. Service was definitely slow, and several of the requests I made were either not accommodated (I just wanted milk for my tea!) or took a half hour. 2) The waiter made slightly offensive comments about Yayoi Kusama, who inspired one of the cakes.
d. g.
Very cosy and beautiful. Very deceiving on the outside. 2min walk from station. Staff were courteous ,helpful and very friendly. Lots of shopping places nearby. Food was very good. Will definitely book again.
C. S.
Beautiful hotel and courteous staff on reception and the concierge!
The public bathrooms are so clean and the hallway is beautiful but simply decorated with fresh flowers.
D. R.
Amazing stay for when I was in London, Thanks
L. S.
Beautiful hotel and lovely architecture. Can't wait to come back and try The Pie Room 🤤
V.
Stunning! Stayed here back in 2014, what a place. Great location and rooms were on another level from any other hotel i have been to before! 5/5
T.
A great bar, with live music and good drinks. It is on the pricier end, but to be expected at this sort of establishment. Only thing letting it down was service, which wasn't bad but expected more when paying premium prices. A friend had an issue with a drink, and requested an additional tonic water, which took quite a while and a second prompt to receive.
D. B.
Incredible service by all staff. Its a beautiful hotel and I had a Spa treatment at the Hotel. I needed a place to pray and they provided me a hotel room! I could not believe it! Totally blown away by their hospitality! Thank you Rosewood you really stood out from the rest!
C.
The Rosewood's classy and fresh decor far exceeded my expectations, everything was absolutely perfect. The location can't be beaten; close enough to London's West end and the City without the constant stream of tourists. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay.
G. K.
The bar is amazing, good variety and service. The food at the bistro across the arcade also very good. But it is the atmosphere that is the treat. One of my favourites.
J. T.
Had an amazing stay at the Rosewood Hotel courtesy of Room to Reward after being nominated by Shelley Hart, CEO of Havering Volunteer Centre.
The food, room and staff were fabulous.
Thank you.
Julie & Hannah, Room 374

Exquisite hotel. I picked up staff a member who was sent out to fulfil a guests request. Obviously the hotel value their guests and will endeavour to keep them happy.
E. S.
The pie room was very nice food was delicious staff very helpful and friendly can't wait to go again
O. H.
Stunning hotel... if you want to be based in Holborn (which is useful) I'd recommend here if you can stretch to the budget. The dining rooms does great breakfast and some great cocktails also.
S. B.
Beautiful and elegant colonial style hotel conveniently located in High Holborn. The rooms were comfortable and luxurious, the service impeccable, and a fantastic hotel bar with delicious cocktails. The place to stay at whether for business or leisure.
A. M. T.
Beautiful hotel in the centre of town, well placed for all destinations on London. Opulent and luxurious, wonderful friendly staff. Awesome decor and a real air of quality. Fantastic and highly recommended!
T. M.
From the moment we checked in, our experience at the Rosewood in London was near perfect. Polite and helpful staff members with always smiley faces. The location is central. Not cheap by any means but you get what you pay for and it's worth every penny in my opinion.
J. A. H.
Really nice hotel and really nice staff. Love the live-in-dog in the reception. A lot of small details that were really nice. The breakfast was really good and a big selection!
R. J.
More the Holborn Dining rooms than the hotel. But what a great place - perfect balance of atmosphere, great food and strong wine list. Just what we like !!!
P. S.
Superb location for business and pleasure in the capital. Beutiful hotel. Lovely bars and top restaurant. Top staff. Can't fault the place. In my top 10 London hotel's.
D. H.
Just a very short walk from Holborn station (stairs if you are hauling luggage) on the Piccadilly and Central lines, and very close to the British Museum and Covent Garden, this hotel is ideally located. I had stayed at this property when it was a Marriott and would say that the rooms are now nicer and the service is better. Just stayed one night on a layover, but got a great night's sleep and terrific service at breakfast. If you want to eat at the Mirror Room on a Sunday morning, you will need a reservation.
F. S.
A really classy hotel where everybody from greeting to goodbye goes all the way to ensure you have a good stay.
Only slight gripe was lack of proper dressing table and poor lighting for makeup/hairdrying in room (573)
A. H.
Yes, if I was born with a silver spoon I would just move in and live here but alas, we are just fortunate enough to visit from time to time. We enjoy the subtle and top quality elegant decor with very comfy beds. So many hotels don’t understand that a great mattress is a key ingredient of a great hotel stay. We own vacation rental properties in Ko Olina Hawaii and if we can ship Hypnos mattresses all the way from the UK to Hawaii, I think local London hotels should be able to get it right, and the Rosewood does.
J. W.
Superb hotel, enjoyed a fabulous champagne afternoon tea. Staff are attentive, friendly and very informative. So welcoming and overall an amazing experience 💕🥂
F. D.
Utterly divine superluxe hotel in the centre of London. Every detail is well thought out, staff are impeccable and the surroundings are understated and stunning. Michael the MD has hospitality running through his veins.
O. F.
One of my favourite places to have a drink in London. Sit outside in the inner courtyard in the summer months and inside at Scarfe's bar when it starts to get cold. They have live music and the bar snacks are so good!
D.
Superb Boxing Day afternoon tea, from the setting, staff, and most of all the fabulous food. All were outstanding, would highly recommend.
D. S.
Literally the best Hotel I have EVER stayed at. The staff are INCREDIBLE and the building is rich with history and is stunning. Epic time here. The breakfast is a must!
D. T.
I review this hotel as an event venue. It is hands down the worst venue to load kit into in London, the lifts are tiny and hardly ever work, when they do they are in constant use by staff. There is a spiral staircase down to the main hall, but it is poorly designed, if you want to bring down anything longer than 12ft, forget about it.
L. J.
This is the best hotel I ever stayed at. The location is perfect, customer's service excellent, food extraordinary, plus the hotel has a resident dog named Pearl. I highly recommend it.
S. C.
DIVINE! We spent a sumptuous afternoon in the Scarfes Bar. Had currys from the afternoon menu that were unbelievably good. The place is the epitome of luxury and class. NB It's obviously pricey, but save up and treat yourself. I'm now saving up to stay the night!
M. P.
Very impressive indeed. Hidden away behind an old coach archway on High Holborn which opens up into a courtyard to the main entrance.
Used the dining room last week, for coffees and lunch, as Scarfes Bar wasn’t open until 4:30pm. It’s a really impressive, and quite busy, bar and daytime dining room. A little French Bulldog was also enjoying its visit by the bar with its owners.
Relaxing, impressively decorated, good service. Well worth a visit.

I recently visited Rosewood London for the first time during my birthday weekend. The choice of Rosewood came after weeks of carefully reviewing other establishments in London of similar ilk as I was keen to create for myself a most memorable birthday. Something ineffable kept drawing me to the hotel and I plunged, booking a three-night stay. To do so was one of the best decisions I have been lead to make.
From the moment the reservation was secured until the day I checked in, there was much email exchange between me and Rosewood London - the hotel wanting to know who I am and how best I might be served, and me, wanting a sense of what to expect, filled with questions. All my questions and concerns were promptly and graciously addressed and answered no matter how small the detail.
Upon my arrival, not an hour after settling into my handsome room, a birthday cake magically appears! The next day, birthday cake, candles, wine and jazz serenade at the hotel's stunning bar, Scarfes Bar, all made for a wonderful, very touching and indelible memory created. It is said that "love" is always in the fine details and in paying very close attention. Based on my time at Rosewood, this is taken very much to heart. I felt it and am deeply appreciative.
The hotel interior, from lobby to guests’ rooms are beautiful and quite elegant, yes, but also (and most importantly to me traveling on my own) exceedingly warm and nurturing, made even more so by a gracious and attentive staff. The addition of a beautiful dog - who figures prominently and confidently in the lobby- also contributes to the warmth of Rosewood London. Touches such as the extraordinarily comfortable beds (like sleeping on clouds in Heaven), candles and candies in the evening, and a remarkable collection of books, contributes to one feeling imminently at home, cared for, and (dare I utter it) loved. As an introvert, I also very much appreciated the serenity and the low-key nature of the hotel.
As a dedicated foodie, I must share a little about dining at Rosewood London: I absolutely loved breakfast in the Mirror Room - a stunning, expansive and very stately room (reminded me of New York's The Four Seasons restaurant). Yet, like the rest of hotel, the room and staff are so approachable and inviting that I found myself lingering over a deliciously exquisite breakfast for more than two hours – a great rarity for me, especially on vacation! I had to literally force myself up to get on with my day! I loved the gorgeous Scarfes Bar with is amazing jazz, crazy sexy vibe and awesome drinks! It became my “second home” during my stay at Rosewood London! And the Holborn Delicatessen, this quaint and intimate spot is a foodie’s dream!
In closing, the wonderful beautiful effects of my short and joyful journey at Rosewood London continues to linger deeply in my soul. Just one day after my departure - already, I long to return. Such intense sentiment is elicited only by the careful execution of "heartfelt service" to which the Rosewood brand is committed.
Bravo Rosewood London! Until next time…

Perfect. Fantastic. 5*

Beautiful Hotel, lovely terrace area and the Mirror room is lovely as well. We'll priced for the excellent service, would recommend highly if you fancy a nice spot for a pot of tea
C. P.
Beautifully maintained property and excellent service. Unfortunately all restaurants close quite early and do not allow for a late dinner after a concert; late night room service menu is rather limited.

After a wonderful trip to the British Museum, we walked in from the street to see if we could have some tea and found our way in to the wonderful mirror room. …

I much appreciate that there is no single use plastic items in the rooms
fabulous service, great atmosphere

Just went for drinks in Scarfes Bar. Very impressive surroundings and exceptional service. Lovely.

Amazing place for a posh, classy cocktail! With live jazz music and warm vibe 🙂
A. D.
Beautiful hotel, service was great. Cigar part outside is quiet and relaxing. Nice for a summers night.
L. A.
Great food in the mirror room. The service is good too. My friends got a member of staff to collect me from the entrance as I was joining them late.
I. D. C. S.
For style, comfort, cleanliness, attention to detail, outstanding staff at every level, ambiance, quality and selection of food, amenities, location and overall pleasure - this is without question the best hotel in London. …
L. M.
Nice place for the afternoon tea. But while the presentation of the cakes was great the taste was not really following. Otherwise a really beautiful hotel
J. S.
Beautiful hotel bar and restaurant with a huge selection of craft Gin and tonic. It's just a shame the service was a bit slow and hard work to get served drinks when it was a quiet evening.
J. W. H.
Stunning property. Individually themed suites are understated, yet very elegant and cozy. Make sure you say hello to Pearl, the Golden Retriever in residence.
A. J.
Top service by Ameliano. A sophisticated hotel, which is very welcoming. They host a private fireworks display in their courtyard during New Years eve.
K. B.
Loved, loved my stay here. Recently stayed at the Savoy and the Rosewood hands down beats the Savoy. Can’t wait to return.
M. K.
If demons of luxury would set out a camp, it would probably be here every now and then...
Fine luxury details in every corner, a feeling of materialism is a bit too overwhelming... scent, sound, touch, sight... lighting...
Mixed feelings, as if you have too much in one place, feels like the designers had more money than they knew how to spend... so why not make the almost perfect toilet/washroom experience!!
Only missing out on the water sprayers (shattaf) as usual in the west!!! You’ll never know until you experience what you are missing...
s. d.
What a relief to get here after lockdown, had a great weekend and had happy faces at the end.
S. M.
Best experience in any hotel that I have stayed in. You would expect it to be really good as a lot of hotels are. This is not just good, it is a special experience.
A. C.
Attended a wedding at The Rosweood. Obv results will vary depending on the wedding itself, but everything The Rosewood had a hand in was of the highest quality. The venue is truly beautiful and the food and service was all faultless.
R. L.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Even when I've stayed at other, nearby hotels, I often have a drink in the bar or enjoy a relaxing massage at their spa.
M. B.
Beautiful hotel, and friendly staff. I love the arts in the public area. Full of fun and sometimes edgy.
H. L.
Beautiful hotel and the staff are really friendly and helpful my second stay there and will definitely be back again
T. U.
Visited the Mirror Room for coffee and drinks. Excellent, high class facilities, friendly and ultra professional staff created a really nice atmosphere .

A homely, quirky, beautiful 5* hotel with impeccable service and delicious food offering. Pearl the hotel dog is the best reception staff member I've ever met!
E. N.
excellent, listening band, drinking wine, had the small snacks, chit chat with friends. awesome place, I really like their decoration, enjoying their environment...

Absolutely the best in London classic.cockail experience, and lets not forget the ambiance and music makes you feel you stopped back in time. Straight up amazing bar tenders!!

Haven't stayed or eaten here, but stunningly restored and designed public areas. Friendly front of house staff.

Sublime hotel bar in Holborn - what a treat. Seated and waited on worth delicious bar snacks. Amazing decor. Attentive staff. Just lovely.
J. N.
Lovely, cozy bar - book ahead if you can. They have a fire lit in winter. Make sure you check out the loos even if you don't need to go!

Amazing place from a cheeky breakfast to a relaxing spa treatment. Impeccable service.

The Rosewood has the best public bar in London. Impeccable service, wide range of drinks at an equally wide range of price levels. Atmosphere is perfect for dates or catch up with the mates.
R. H.
Just perfect. I don't think much else is needed to be said. From the moment we pulled up to the moment we left 2 days later every bit of our stay was as enjoyable as it possibly could have been
K. W.
Service was great and my dish was lovely. Avoid the burger it come over cooked and is quite dry. Other guest had to send it back.
T. M.
Bar is very atmospheric and cool. But can get very busy and is pretty expensive. Memorable place though.

We had the art afternoon tea in the mirror room. Everything was delicious. It was such a cool concept.

O. L.
Top of the art hotel in London with contemporary but still English design and extremely nice, individually dressed and welcoming people. Restaurant and bar are a must!
C. M.
Excellent and expensive. You pay for what you get. 5* treatment and facilities smack in the centre of London. This is for those show to splash out and spoil themselves. Be prepared to find a bruised wallet at the end of your stay.
E. m.
Really nice hotel. Comfortable rooms and great service. Fairly convenient.
L. A.
Great food in the mirror room. The service is good too. My friends got a member of staff to collect me from the entrance as I was joining them late.

My friend and I came here for tea. It's a grand setting that's so stylish and atmospheric, characteristic of American hotel groups - I look forward to going back for a visit to their restaurant/bar.
A. B.
Very beautiful hotel, great service. The location isn't as amazing as some other hotels, that's the main drawback I'd say.
K. H.
Fantastic hotel that is one of my favorites in the world; only issue is that hotel rooms are beginning to look a little bit dated this last time I was there.
