My husband and I absolutely loved our stay in the Executive Double. The room was wonderful - couldn't fault a thing. I loved that the shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and shower gel came in large bottles instead of those tiny sample sizes. Staff were amazing, approachable, welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend to others and would visit again. Also, great location, walking distance to London hot spots! P.S. Thank you to the housekeepers who always made sure our room was immaculate!

This was our second time staying at the royal Lancaster after a wonderful first experience. We stayed on NYE and decided to book a suite, the room was absolutely fabulous. The staff also read the comments I made on my booking for a room where I requested a room which overlooked the city of London, It looked absolutely Incredible (especially with the fireworks at 12:00). This was also a birthday surprise so we were treated to some desert by the staff shortly after arrival, this was a lovely touch.
The bedding, the room, the view and the amenities were all magnificent and I'd recommend anyone to stay in one of the suites. We also ordered room service that evening although there was a wait to get through which is understandable at late hours, the food exceeded expectations. There were a few things which were different to our last stay, firstly there was a lot of noise on our floor and loud banging, though this only happened sporadically and didn't last long,, Also there were not multiple bottles of still and sparking water like last time, though we ended up using the ones in the mini fridge it would've been nice to receive a few large bottles.
As part of the 'friends club' you are treated to complementary breakfast with your booking. During our first stay the breakfast was really amazing and is one of the main reasons we decided to return, it's simply the best breakfast buffet in London. This time the buffet was great again, but the service was not really there. We weren't shown to a table or asked if we'd like coffee or tea or even toast, we were just ignored really. This was slightly disappointing but the buffet itself was great. Though I can understand it must've been a busy and stressful morning for the staff.
Even with the slight issues we can't wait to return to the Royal Lancaster soon and we recommend it to anyone looking to stay at a wonderful luxury hotel in London

One of the nicest hotels we looked up. It was spotless clean and has a modern look. The staff was friendly as well.
We enjoyed our stay. I can see myself recommend it to someone visiting London.
It’s also located a few minutes away from Paddington station, which was convenient.
Though if you plan on walking to areas of interest, it might be a bit of a long walk.

love it, quiet, comfortable, super clean and the staff is super nice. Love their shower, and the spa and massages are great! Also love that the restaurant and bar stay open late. Right by the park makes it a great view and a great place to go for walks.

They spent huge amount of money making the place upgraded and nice. However, there are certain things that money alone cannot buy without a special touch.
For example, the first floor was one of my favourite places for such a long time but after renovation, they took away the beautiful fireplace, the decorated ceiling and replaced the individual seats around the table with a wall mounted all around seats which makes it look more like a school décor and TOTALLY without class. I recently went in and noticed they replaced some of the rather more comfortable seats and sofas with much smaller ones as if to say, " don't feel too comfortable and stay too long"! The person in charge should be sacked for not having any class and true maturity.
Although I made these points directly to the management several times, the downsizing and the total lack of classical character the new designs have taken away, no one listened and it even became worst.
On the other hand, people here for the first time won't notice any difference.
In short, by making thing new and shiny, they took away that beautiful character, that romantic ambiance and class.
The beautiful old romantic design with a very unique romantic ambiance has been replaced with shine and glitter. You might as well compare thick leather with new shiny stretchy plastic look. It all looks new but horrible and no character compared to what is was.
For the owners, I suggest not to use far East taste for a London classic looks. London Victorian buildings are listed not to be touched FOR A REASON.

Best customer service, great location & super clean room. Bus & underground stations are few steps away. Thanks to all staff members we met who made our stay unforgettable, all of them were so kind
J. M.
Fabulous experience, even got VIP treatment from the GM Sally who allowed me full access to a third meeting room for free to run an online webinar from. And the events we ran were a huge success, first class service from the tram and food was fantastic!
S. R.
Fantastic hotel, attended for company conference. Staff absolutely first class.
If you're holding a conference London, look at this place.
London largest privately owned hotel, so the manager informed me.

Amazing hotel with very big lobby. Friendly staff, clean rooms, honest housekeeping, nice view and secure elevators. highly recommended
H. P.
A nice hotel with car parking. It looks over Hyde park and is in easy walking distance of Oxford street. Decent price, can’t complain.
K. H.
Very nice hotel. Professional staff - courteous and efficient. Came here for an evening event and was very impressed with the quality of food, in particular because they were catering for a large number of covers. Also a great bar area. Did not stay here overnight so I cannot comment on the rooms.
J. O.
The Luxury Park one-bedroom suites are the best rooms with panoramic top views even in the bathroom.
Ordered room service- good portion food and piping hot. Good quality food and very tasty.
Good customer experience.

Wow what an amazing stay I had! Firstly, a massive big thank you to Doreen Soltan, guest relations manager who looked after me like a Queen! The whole team was super friendly and helpful, especially the lady who did my turndown service. As well as Slobodanka from in-room dining who was incredibly helpful! I adore this hotel, probably the best I ever stayed in and will definitely go back.

Great location and great staff. I stayed here on two work trips. The rooms are nice- I could see the eye from my room. The nicest thing about my stay here was the breakfast staff: Constantin and Nertila.
They were amazing. Friendly and caring. In all my years of traveling, they're in my top 5 of awesome staff at a hotel/restaurant. I really appreciated their service at breakfast each morning. I wasn't feeling well several mornings and they both demonstrated compassion and empathy. Also, Constantin went above and beyond and found me some ginger for my upset stomach. I would absolutely come back to this hotel just because of the service I received from the breakfast staff. Hands down- I couldn't ask for better.
R.
Wonderful stay! Very service oriented staff, super clean with a nice signature scent in all corridors, Fanta stick view of London skyline 🏙, central location, very good breakfast- love it!

We had the best experience staying at the Royal Lancaster, from the moment we arrived the staff made us feel welcome and special, the refurbishment of the hotel and facilities were stunning.
They also made it an amazing experience for my birthday, from a room upgrade to a suite with the most breath-taking views over London, the in room service including balloons, cake and champagne. I also tried the new Royal Nuad Thai Spa, with a massage that was extremely relaxing and calming. We ate dinner in the Nipa Thai restaurant one evening, with the chef coming out to ensure we were happy. I cannot recommend highly enough.
Special thanks to the General Manager Sally Beck who ensured that our every need was taken care of. I look forward very much to another stay in the near future
N. K.
Truly a 5 star experience. Luxury isn't only skin deep, and this resonates true at The Royal Lancaster from their attentive team through to thoughtful ambience and tasteful interiors. Nothing is too much trouble for the team and we'd like to thank Doreen especially for continuing to make our stays so special. Until next time!

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, the service- incredible. The cleanliness, the views. I wouls definitely return
J. J.
Lovely hotel! Wonderful staff, very attentive and caring. Conveniently located in the centre of London. Definately stay here again!
S. W.
Great location and views of Hyde Park and/or the city skyline from upper floor rooms. Excellent friendly staff and customer service. Nipa Thai restaurant very good. Nice bar. Room service breakfast one of the best and not unreasonably priced given the quality of the hotel. Clean.
T. L.
Mixed feelings about this one. This is definitely a luxury feeling hotel in a great location, the luxury one bedroom suite had an amazing view. But overall the service lacked finesse, room service was 30 minutes later than agreed (and had to be chased), my breakfast booking got lost somehow (which shouldn't really matter but it was typical of the service I experienced), and it wasn't quite as welcoming/friendly as you might hope.
Overall I think I would return because I hope I just got unlucky and my experience was not what others would routinely expect.
S. C.
Absolutely loved our stay there! Amazing service, wonderful staff and a very warm welcome. We stayed on the 13th floor, the London Eye by night, what a sight! We will have to go back.
H.
Lovely dog friendly hotel that came with bowls and bedding. With a comfy bed with a firm/supportive mattress, multiple types of pillows, and a nice air con, it was hard to want to leave the room to explore. But after a nice cuppa of in room Nespresso you’ll be ready to go for a walk or jog at the very local Hyde Park. Being so close to Lancaster Gate tube station made this the perfect spot for our weekend getaway.

Stayed at this hotel with my sister to celebrate her 50th Birthday. Spent days researching for the right place and so happy we landed at Royal Lancaster Hotel.
Reservation- the hotel manager Alex listened to my requirements, I was amazed how quick he responded to my emails with great expectation management and attractive deal. Katie managed our booking, answering patiently my open questions.
Arriving at the hotel- we drove down from north England, hotel was very easy to find , valet parking , very friendly attendant made us feel very special.
The Hotel exceeds it’s 5 star rating, we had planned a photo shooting for my sister birthday and the ambient and great decorations gave us a great setting.
We dinned at the Thai Restaurant on first floor, amazing food , great service, fair pricing. They surprised my sister with a birthday cake and singing
On top of this we received a complimentary upgrade to a corner Superior Deluxe Twin room next the Shires Suit, the views of London eye and city view was breath taking. We cancelled the plan to visit the Shard as we had in my experience better relaxed view of London
The were Ballons, birthday cake , personalised birthday card awaiting us in the room, there was great attention to the smallest detail. Bed very comfortable, exquisite bathroom items
Breakfast was excellent, many options available , delicious and the park restaurant has views to Hyde Park.
Here we met Alyska who couldn’t do enough for us, another birthday cake (the third in 24 hrs )she really made us feel at home
The Hotel is very central , it took us around 15min to reach Oxford street.
All in all Alex and his team made my sisters birthday unforgettable -
My outmost sincere recommendation - an independent hotel for unique exceptional experience
J. J.
Stayed here in November 2021. Location is the best thing about the hotel. Very good customer service,
organised a birthday package for my partner and although some misunderstanding, they fixed it and handled it very well. Definitely recommend

Favourite hotel in London. Really good and modern rooms, with many special details that make you feel comfortable. Excellent service. Really good asian restaurant. And… The most important… One of the best breakfast with incredible views to Hyde Park, nice experience. In case you have any doubt between Royal Lancaster and any other hotel… Always… Royal Lancaster.

Great hotel, service and location was perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, train, etc. My first time to London but seemed like a good, safe neighborhood as well. Rooms are a little smaller than I'd prefer but I get it, it's London. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

As part of my engagement day I had worked with the staff at The Royal Lancaster hotel, and to say they helped would be an understatement; they went out of their way to make this day extra special. We stayed in the Studio Suite (Corner) and I could not recommend this suite enough! it had fantastic views of London. As part of the stay I had asked for several requests and, without hesitation, the staff at the Royal Lancaster and the guest relations manager (Doreen) were superb; a picture album was shown on the TV of me and my fiancée; when we had both came back from our evening meal (recommended by the hotel and again they did not fail) we were welcomed back with a hot bath filled with rose petals as well as fairy lights and candles scattered all over the room! All of this made the stay extra special and unique to us! Going back to those brilliant views of London; we were greeted with what I can only imagine being the best sunrise view! I highly recommend you wake up with a nice coffee and just watch the sun come up! I would like to extend my thanks to everyone at the Royal Lancaster, you were brilliant in every way! and I cannot wait to stay with you again!
J. S.
Great hotel and fantastic service. Special mention to Ali from the events team. Exceptional customer care, proffesional ism and always ensures we had everything we needed.
A. R.
Brilliant hotel! Loved the staff. Rooms were awesome and very clean. Views were great from the higher floors. Room amenities were great too. There's a stocked minibar, coffee machine with pods, electric blinds, underfloor heating in the bathroom, etc. Parking spaces are limited and pricey (£45/day). Location cant be any better - Lancashire gate tube station is an arms length away, Hyde Park is a 2 min walk and the famous Oxford Street is a 10 min walk.
M. C.
Room was nothing to write home about for the price, but it was clean and had everything you need including a nice view. Too many rich people hanging around in the foyer thinking they're the bee's knees.
In-room dining extremely expensive, although quality was very good. We tipped and then when the staff realised they needed to come back with a card reader (interrupting our meal), the second staff member asked for another tip.
Reception staff seemed unwelcoming and a little stand-offish.
Also, I would not recommend staying here if you like fresh air. The windows cannot be opened and the air conditioning is not very cool. I overheated both nights and, as a result, found it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
E. W.
Excellent customer service, everyone was always very eager to help and make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel interior is very luxurious. We stayed in a double deluxe room which was spacious and had an amazing view, with the London Eye and the Shard visible in the distance. The room had some fantastic features (automatic blinds controlled via switches, white company toiletries, espresso machine). The Nipa Thai restaurant was exceptional. The hotel is in a great location, with Hyde Park just outside the door, and only a very short walk from numerous underground stations. Despite checkout being at 12pm, the hotel stored our luggage in a safe place, allowing us to enjoy the rest of our trip post-checkout. The hotel cannot be faulted, we will definitely be coming back in the future.

I stayed at Royal Lancaster Hotel with my partner for a weekend getaway:
Pros: Approachable and friendly staff with excellent service (particular shoutout to Adiren and Lucy). Great room (we upgraded to room with Deluxe View) with stunning views of Hyde Park and the local area from upper floors of the hotel. Nice amenities in the bathroom from The White Company, bathrobes and soft furnishings. Excellent location on the doorstep of Hyde Park and on top of Lancaster Gate underground station.
Cons: WiFi was a little slow, and all of the biscuits/snacks appeared to be within the confines of the minibar, and subject to additional charge.
Overall, was a good experience for a 5 star hotel.
A. F.
Everything from arrival to our last goodbyes was smootless. The hotel Manager made time to welcome us and direct us where we needed to go. The food at the restaurants was outstanding. If you decided to stay here you will not be disappointed!!
M. G.
Walked in for Sunday breakfast. Although busy , I was acknowledged and served efficiently. Good menu
L. G.
The hotel was lovely and the staff was lovely although mostly non English speaking. I would have given it a 5 star if the heating did work during the night, especially the bathroom was cold.
H.
Absolutely loved staying here! The hotel is immaculate and the staff were really welcoming, they couldn't do enough for you. Thank you so much for a great stay!
S. D.
Stayed here for a total of 4 nights. The staff are absolutely lovely and the hotel is at an amazing location next to Paddington right next to Hyde park.
I. P.
Great location, comfortable rooms! Love the heated bathroom floors and fact that the shower gel and body lotion are from the white company- feels luxurious
C. B.
Fantastic !!!.. Reception, Staff, Cleanliness... views from the room and food in the restaurant were all amazing. Will definitely return.
L.
The conference suite is a good venue, event and conferences even birthday celebration. The accessibility to the venue is so easy just right outside the train station.
M. M.
From arriving to departingThe service was excellent i booked for a night I was so relaxed and comfortable I stayed an extra night the
T. F.
Fabulously attentive service from every staff member I encountered, the comfiest bed I have slept in for ages and lovely big soft towels. Wouldn't hesitate in returning.
B. P.
Fantastic experience all around. The location is perfect. Across from Hyde Park and the hotel sits essentially on top of the Lancaster tube station. Paddington station is a few minutes by foot. It’s peaceful and you have direct access to all parts of London.
The hotel itself is beautiful. Classic and modern, all the finishings are lovely. The rooms are well appointed and spotless. The hotel’s linens are luxurious.
Breakfast is great and I highly recommend Nipa Thai.
Finally and perhaps most importantly, the hotel staff from the General Manager, the Diplomat & Corporate Sales Executive, the Events staff, Front Desk Team, and the Concierge were PHENOMENAL! It was a pleasure working with the entire RLL team!
Many thanks to you all!
M. B.
The corner studio rooms have incredible views and lots of space. Great location, nicely renovated, will definitely stay here again.

A very pleasant stay. I visited this place pre-corona and was blown away and I have to say that I am very impressed. Staying here for a second time.. They did some beautiful changes. Yes there is amazing brunch areas in London but why do that. When you have such accommodating staff especially the variety they offer. Wow 👌 my favorite was there honey straight from the comb paired with there chia deliciousness. They offer a variety of rooms all with there own perks and amenities. Only place I know of where umbrellas are offered to walk around beautiful London in. Very nice touch on top of everything. For the review I will give it a 9.5 out of 10. J. W.
This hotel is grate staff very friendly and helpful it's very clean and has a carpark which is very good as a otof hotels in London do not have one and your could end up with tickets or towed away at a grate cost to you
Food is all good as well very much worth a stay
G. K.
Beautiful hotel our room was fabulous with a great view of London
j.
Lovely hotel, great staff (super nice), room slightly on the small side.

In the end it is the staff that make a hotel special not just the hotel itself .
Well the Hotel is great both in room space & bedding .
But the staff made our visit special ,smiling and happy with all question asked .
The hotel restaurant is very good with some very nice meals and attentive staff
There is a kind of serenity about this hotel .
Perhaps it the owners coming from Thailand .
Looking forward to our next visit
A. L.
Just a shame that 5 stars is the most I can put! Impeccable service! Stunning views! The hotel is sublime! The location is beyond perfect! WE WILL BE COMING BACK. There isn't a better hotel in the UK that offers the same service at this rate. Highly recommend and we are very grateful to have been able to stay here. Thank you Royal Lancaster!
T.
Loved the views!! I loved staying there and seeing the garden and street. It was great being high up. The corner bedroom was a nice size with big windows overlooking a large garden with 2 different views, the living room was spacious and huge windows. I’d love to stay there again. Great location to walk to many restaurants, we liked the Italian restaurant nearby because the food was great and I got to speak in Italian with the waiter. The hotel staff were very nice.
L. B.
Amazing, very accommodating for our bucket list trip with our terminally ill doberman Chief. Thank you 😊 🐾
S. M.
Very nice and clean but the rooms are abit small
V.
Elegant, classy, in the centre of London, close to Hyde Park.

My Husband booked the Royal Lancaster for my Birthday, I was blown away the hotel is a very luxury clean vibrant place to stay. The staff are fantastic and committed to making sure you are at ultimate comfort! Vincent was amazing ! Will be returning very soon thank you to everyone at the Royal Lancaster it was what dreams are made of!
S. T.
Only visited for an awards ceremony, but found the staff to be friendly and helpful, whilst the food was delicious.
L. S.
Great lower ground floor event space. Very clean and high end designed interiors.
L. R.
The location was convenient and the staff were generally pleasant. Everything was very clean and tidy. Unfortunately I had a difficult time with their app AeroGuest. There was some sort of glitch and the app took payment but didn't check us in. When I arrived and asked about this, I was told that they couldn't do anything directly and had me pay again for the room while they investigated. I wasn't offered any immediate compensation for this. There were no updates on the investigation until I asked again when checking out, at which point another staff member said they would have to give me a letter so that I could follow up with my bank. So I essentially paid twice for the room and it is now up to me to recover the funds. I was offered a free upgrade and drink upon my next visit, although I don't know that I'll be visiting again soon.
R. J.
Great place, the stuff and food is nice

We chose the Royal Lancaster for our wedding stay and could not have been happier. The staff made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and nothing was too much for them. We were so pleasantly surprised by all the kind gestures and willingness to make us feel special and welcome during our stay, whether it was complimentary fruit or flower petals on our bed! Our deluxe room was amazing with stunning London views, plenty of space, and heated tiles in the bathroom! The hotel is exceptionally clean and we felt very safe from a Covid standpoint too. My partner and I look forward to coming here again soon! Thank you staff at Royal Lancaster for making our special day even more so.
K.

A. J.
I enjoyed my stay, it was so clean, it gave me peace to stay in it during a pandemic!
Lovely and welcoming customer service, they'll take care of you the minute you enter the hotel.
The room view was the hyde park and you can see the London eye.
Great location!! Few steps away from the hyde park, about 20~30 min walk from Marble arch - Oxford Street.
I gave it a 4 stars cause I didn't find the pillows comfy so couldn't sleep well at night, plus I tried to call the concierge, restaurants and dine in from my room and no one picked it up!
Really liked their breakfast, the shakshuka and French toast were on point!! Would highly recommend them.
A. B.
Amazing hotel, hands down my new favourite in London. Clean room, amazing view, great and easy room service. Amazing bathroom and bath!☺️
One thing - hard to keep the room at a comfortable temperature in winter, as it easily goes from too cold to too hot☺️
A. L.
We love this beautiful hotel. The tube station is literally around the corner and Hyde park entrance is opposite. The Thai Nipa restaurant is amazing with wonderful staff
A. F.
Plesent stylish comfortable very clean hotel, great staff who are very helpful. Home from home.

Excellent food and unbelievably slick service... True quality...
L. G. X.
Quite nice hotel but no pool
D. H.
I like the Royal Lanc. Nice rooms, decent price. Not quite in the centre of town but close enough to have a decent walk in, but besides that there's a tube station right next door. Great pub just round the corner, but can't for the life of me remember the name...
S. K.
Excellent hotel. Extremely helpful staff. Perfect for exploring Hyde Park.
D. W.
Great place to stay and friendly staff!
L. L.
Atmosphere, food and beer was great.
A. T.
Overall a very pleasant stay.
Friendly and attentive staff from check-in to room and breakfast service.
The room was clean, comfortable and functional with sweeping park and city views. The size is on the cozy side without it feeling cramped.
A.
Great stay, with stunning views.
Saray is one of the best hotel receptionists I’ve ever come across. She was nice and down to earth.
G. Q.
Unfortunately first breakfast the waiter did not write the order down so when it did come some 40 minutes later it was wrong and Lukewarm. Next morning new waiter did write the order and it was perfect inbetween we had spoken to the chef and assured us that it was a one off. Enjoyed the stay, the room was great. Would go again
R. M.
Impossible to sleep due to the windows being sealed shut and the lowest temperature on the air conditioning being 18C. It's a great hotel - the styling is superb - but what's the point in all that when you wake up groggy and tired every morning?
Also, the lip on the bath means you can't lie back on it. Thoughtless design.
L. A. K. O.
This is a favourite of my London haunts, beautiful hotel, remarkable staff and excellent facilities AND parking! The restaurant needs a 5 star review of its own
T. W.
Great hotel! Staff were very helpful and the rooms very well appointed in great location.
J. A.
Enjoyed the Thai restaurant immensely. The green curry was super.
H. V.
Nice hotel for food, rooms, events. Bit pricey.
B. H.
This hotel is in a fabulous location right opposite Hyde Park. We were delighted to have an upgrade to a Park Suite, if you can afford it or if you want a special oak treat book it, it was superb. Lovely to
People watch and to see the lights of London at night. I booked this hotel because of their Covid safety and on the whole very conscious even deeply sanitising the room each day. The staff make this hotel exceptional, small touches like remembering name and our preferences made us feel special. Nothing was to much trouble. We had breakfast and room service and the food was super. Small issues we had were very politely resolved and will very much look forward to returning. Highly recommended for a great stay
S. H.
Attended a function, well organised and food was fantastic
G. A.
Brilliant hotel lovely location amazing views of Hyde park. Highly recommend staying at this place!

A lovely venue! Great open space including the foyer and function room the toilets were clean and tidy and the staff welcoming and very helpful. I attended an awards ceremony for work and had the most amazing evening. The food was to a high standard and all the staff including their employees and agency staff were on top form. Great job!
J. L.
Fabulous venue for a humbling event at which I was fortunate to be invited as a guest.

We really enjoyed our stay here! From the moment we walked through the door we were treated very well, the staff couldn’t do enough! We felt at home and nothing was too much trouble. We had a exceptional lunch in the bar on the second floor.
The room was fantastic and very clean, views right over the city.
We were attending an event and being honest the food in the evening really did not taste very good which was disappointing! However today before coming home we went into the island grill restaurant and had roast chicken Sunday lunch and it was absolutely gorgeous and so compliments to the chefs indeed. We had added extras throughout our stay that we haven’t experienced at other hotels when we normally stay in London so we were very pleased with our stay at the hotel! Was sad to leave. Thanks. Jamie & James Noddle. Room 1019

Very nice hotel with great venues for functions.

Loved staying here! But the room was a bit warm with no way of cooling it down (cannot open windows nor change the thermostat). Also, there was an overpowering carpet deodorizer like scent in our room. A bit overwhelming when we'd return to our room. Still loved the room and the service.

Lovely ares for coffee. Covid precautions in place. Staff friendly
M. B.
Had a lovely evening, great food.
D. B.
Wonderful hotel! Stylish updated rooms with comfortable beds. The morning breakfast buffet is the best hotel breakfast I’ve seen! Location is right above a tube stop so very convenient although the neighborhood itself is quiet
S. A.
Great hotel. Very classy! Amazing staff.
L. M.
Attended a conference, didn’t have the privilege of staying, but if the food at the conference is anything to go by wow! The staff were fabulous in keeping up with replenishing and there was never a dirty plate or glass in sight. It’s also in a brilliant location with the tube station being directly behind the hotel and it is situated at the top of Hyde Park!

Excellently managed independently owned hotel. Food was super. Service was respectful and friendly.
P. M.
Superb location and rooms quality.
M.
Service was excellent and staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was cosy and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and fresh! It is easy to find a taxi and you have Kensington Gardens just a few minutes away, walking distance. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to London. Worth a visit!
K. M.
Fantastic fantastic hotel!! Clean, modern bright with amazing staff. They blew me away with food service as it was the caliber of a 5 star restaurant ❤️ When travelling in London please consider having your stay with them! You will not be Disappointed in your selection
R. C.
A lovely clean hotel. Has everything you could need for you stay, room service was lovely to. We also had a lovely young gentleman that whilst bringing out bags up to our room explained everything as it was out first time at this hotel.

Stayed at the Royal Lancaster very recently as a part of the Landmark Conference Group. Was truly amazed by the level or service I experienced – being an ex-hotelier myself. Wrote to the team before I could check in requesting for a high floor room with an open view since I am pregnant and I do get claustrophobic at times – and indeed I was assigned a room on the 12th floor with a lovely view of the city and the London Eye/ Shard in the far distance.
When I approached the hotel on the day of the conference, I was greeted by the doorman who offered assistance with my bag (although it wasn’t heavy and I could manage myself, but I just wanted to feel pampered so I let him help me) 😊. He then handed me over to the bell team who guided me straight to the check in desk where there were a few of the reception staff who were very friendly and welcoming. Check in was very smooth – signed the reg card and bags/ coats were taken away to be stored and placed in the room once it was ready. Collected the keys later during the day.
The overall setup for the entire day’s event was fabulous. Was impressed with the 3 - course cocktail dinner that evening. Fine coordination by the Food & Beverage/ Culinary Team. Also has a couple of requests during my stay like super glue for my broken shoe/ pregnancy pillow, both of which the concierge team arranged very quickly. Housekeeping was also helpful when requests were made. The room was very well done and tidy. Loved the idea of the music that was played on the Television during turn down service. That is something I never experienced what I stayed at other hotel chains like The Hyatt and The Taj. Was a pleasant feeling when I came up after a long day to get ready for the evening. Ordered in-room dining which took a while but the team were kind enough to send some complimentary Yogurt along with the order. I do understand that in room dining operations can get extremely busy at times, especially when the hotel is on a high occupancy, so you guys are off the hook this time 😉. Check out was quick and smooth which was a perfect end to the entire stay.
All in all, everyone did their bit which was indeed a real 5 – star experience and that was what made me enjoy my stay.

We booked Royal Lancaster for it's location & price. Found out it's right over Lancaster Station with nice places for meals around. Hyde Park is just across the road. The hotel & room is modern & luxurious & clean. The room size is not very big but good for comfort stay. We enjoy staying there & will be happy to return
P. D.
We stayed here for a few days in March 2018, and I was very impressed by the hotel's opulence and simplicity of design. Modern, yet classic rooms that were immaculate, beautiful and most comfortable. The location is fantastic, as the Tube is next door, and the Paddington station is a short walk away, should you need a major station. This will definitely be my home base when in London again. The rooms are perfectly designed and attractive!
J. H.
Visited this hotel several times for an annual awards event.
Staff are always very efficient with arrival drinks, cloak room and three course meal.
Sound and presentation quality is also always excellent.
A. A.
Where to start? Everything from location to lobby and staff is excellent, and room is beyond expectation. We are here for honeymoon and I am glad that my wife loved it very much. It is really a great choice and we will book it next time we are in London. Thank you very much for the experience.

Excellent, traditional, top class hotel. We especially enjoyed drinks in the hotel bar beside the Thai restaurant. They have some "just park" spaces for public use. Brilliantly located for West End shopping trips. Great hotel...
M. J.
not many arm chairs to sit on in foyer by ballroom

we arrived and checked in which was fine and efficient, we confirmed with reception that we had paid for breakfast already and asked if we could have that as room service, they said yes but we just have to pay a £4 service charge.
When we got to the room we appreciated it was tidy & clean however quite small, lovely shower and comfy bed (although very soft pillows so if you like a firm head support you’ll be disappointed). Looking out the window we had a nice view of Hyde Park. When we checked our mini bar there were items missing which we were concerned about getting charged for.
We filled in our breakfast order and left it outside the door just before midnight, the next morning I woke up and attempted to use their in room coffee machine which didn’t work. When breakfast arrived I asked the concierge if he could get it working and he didn’t seem sure so said he would get someone to come up.
He made me sign a bill for my breakfast (over £40) for a traditional breakfast with eggs bacon, hash brown, sausage and beans, and my partners breakfast of 2 boiled eggs with toast VERY EXPENSIVE. I explained to him that I had been told breakfast was included and I would just need to pay £4 for service and he didn’t seem to care so I signed anyway.
My partners breakfast came with no toast... so just some boiled eggs on their own for her! Both of us had requested soft boiled eggs, both of us got hard boiled and the bacon was dry. After waiting an hour for someone to come and sort the coffee machine we have up waiting and decided to go check out.
Our receptionist on check out was very friendly and apologetic and assured me I wasn’t getting charged for breakfast, nor the room service fee and also would not be charged for any missing minibar items.

This hotel certainly exceeded my expectations.
The hotel is seconds away from Lancaster Gate tube station and minutes away from Paddington station.
Hyde park is a minute walk away.
The staff were professional and provided a first class service. Nothing seems to be too much trouble.
We stayed in the corner suite. The room had all the usual amenities expected of a 5 star property. The views were amazing due to the corner location of the room. I could not fault it.
I will definitely stay here again if i am able to.
The hotel owner and booking staff were very helpful and honoured a great deal i saw online.
I genuinely have nothing but positive comments about this property in all aspects it was absolutely delightful.

My girlfriend and I stayed here over the weekend to celebrate our one year anniversary. We were greeted by very friendly front of house staff who offered to take out bags and showed us to the check in desk. Very polite and friendly members of staff here! Really set the tone for the duration of our stay. On checking in we mentioned it was our anniversary after which a bottle of champagne was brought up to our room, a very kind and thoughtful gift. The room was faultless, except for one take away box that had clearly been left from previous guests. We went out for the evening and came back to find our beds carefully turned down with classical music playing- a lovely touch. As well as this they replaced out water bottles and coffee. Our only criticism of the room would be that one side of the windows were fogged out [see photo] (I expect there was a good reason for this) however it would have been nice to enjoy the full views. Overall this was a lovely stay, with impeccable service making for a pleasant experience, one I wish could have lasted longer!
A. G.
Amazing views of London! Stayed here for a birthday weekend. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Assisted in organising a "Birthday Package" for the room upon arrival. Great location with easy access. Would definitely recommend.
N. S.
Enjoyed the flat white and kids enjoyed the ice cream in the bar upstairs. Unfortunately they'd run out of wafers for the ice cream but the manager kindly offered an extra scoop in its place!
Nice relaxed atmosphere.

Took teenage son and his friend for Afternoon tea last bank holiday Monday. Staff were wonderful. Very attentive, excellent service standards, very welcoming and friendly. They put the boys at ease and couldn’t have been more helpful in swapping the sandwich selection to suit them (look of horror at the thought of a kale and avocado sandwich - it was actually quite tasty). The food was good, it was value for money, lovely dining room, great views of the Italian garden in Hyde Park, but it was the staff who made it special, thanks.
A. H.
Room was clean and well presented. Facilities were nice and modern. The only complian5 was that during breakfast time, I had to ask different waiters 3 times for a cup of tea and they still ended up forgetting it.
A. K.
Incredible service, no one ever showed so much attention and courtesy in any hotel I've ever been to before! Very quiet, great hotel food too. Room clean, AC/heat worked well.
K. H.
The hotel is fantastic. It has recently been refurbished to a very high standard and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a vast choice and the rooms luxurious. Great views and loved the added touch of electric blinds. We will definitely be staying there again.
J. O.
Nice elevators. Great room but not enough space between the end of the bed and the wall.
Nice tile bathrooms. Love the option of hanging the pour or showerhead. Nice robes. White company shower gels. Good choice of magazines and articles on the table
R. K.
Awesome location. Comfortable rooms. Tasty room service. Brunch was a mess and very slow in the restaurant. I ended up leaving. But that was the only bummer. Otherwise, highly recommend.
P.
Really nice.
Very good for Events
M. A.
Very nice hotel, with a view on the park (if you are on the right side of the building). The location for breakfast is amazing.
Nice staff in general, maybe a bit under expectations the one caring about breakfast.
B. C. A. H.
What could anybody say about this marvellous hotel!!! It is awesome beyond words! The service is amazing, the view extraordinary! It is always such a delight to stay at this fabulous hotel!!! It is definitely worth the money and every single minute you spend here!!! If you haven' t visited London yet, I highly recommend you do and book a room at Royal Lancaster London!!! Myself and my friends always enjoy our stay here!!!

Fantastic hotel, great location and terrific staff. I travel to London on a regular basis and have been a regular guest for over a year. I have “lifetime status” at other popular hotel brands, but they don’t hold a candle to the Royal Lancaster London Hotel. The property was recently remodeled and it is absolutely beautiful. It is situated on Hyde Park, near major landmarks around the city. Enjoy your stay 😁
L. A.
Phenomenal views and exceptional staff that went above and beyond to make our stay an amazing experience.
T. M.
We had not been back to our favourite London hotel for a few months, but the greeting from the receptionist as we checked in was ""It is so nice to have you back. Every where clean. The staff are extremely welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good ***** with a good choice of cooked options.
F. P.
Loved the hospitality and profesionalism of the staff. Excellent and clean rooms
A. J.
Stayed here for a night whilst in London, the room was small but adequate however there was a lot of dust in room toilet. The bed wasn't made up very well which isnt the end of the world but was noticeable. The breskfast was excellent and the only thing that let it down was the beans were cold, however this may simply be because of the way they are served.
Excellent location and a short 20 minute walk through Hyde park to winter wonderland.
D. A.
Had afternoon tea with friends here and it was amazing. The staff were so courteous and friendly did everything to make our experience a good one. Luigi the tea room manager was brilliant. What he knows about tea and which blend goes with what course was impressive. We had time to talk eat as we weren't rushed. A totally amazing birthday treat. I would definitely come back. Couldn't eat everything that was served it was so delicious and there was more than enough.
A. S. I.
It’s an expensive hotel. I’ve stayed there for 5 nights in their Premium room last month. I don’t know if it’s a pick time or not but the rent I paid is huge compared to any 5 star hotel in any other big cities. Specially the room size is too small at this price point. It doesn’t justify the rent I paid at all. However, it’s a decent hotel with a wonderful view of Hyde park and also has very good service both in lobby and room service. One thing I found it interesting that their breakfast buffet menu remains same everyday. Even if you want a different preparation of the egg apart from buffet menu, you have to pay extra...
S. L.
Had an absolutely wonderful stay! I informed the hotel through booking that I was coming with my wife for our honeymoon and they decorated the room well and gave us complimentary desserts. The service and location were great too. Could not fault it. Would definitely come again to stay next time!
M. C.
Very impressed with the hotel and the restaurant food was excellent would recommend
l. g.
Very good hotel can't lie on that but the clener about 40 ish was very rude to my girlfriend went to the desk and they told me 'we need more proof'
T. M.
The public rooms were fine but the bedroom, although well kept obviously without the brand new feel because of the age of the hotel. We were on the weekend get-away package which was a great value. Locations is great if you can utilize Hyde Park for walking or running. Everything is spotlessly clean and attention to detail is evident.
N. K.
Staff were very attentive and facilities were clean and tidy. Location is just perfect - just behind the tube station and right by the Kensington Gardens. It was good to go for a walk during the coffee breaks to get some fresh air. I attended a conference so no reviewer the room. Only downside was conference rooms were just so cold. Too much a/c. Apart from that, it was a great venue for professional events.
J. Y.
Beautiful hotel the renovations are just finishing up now but ugh the views, the breakfast and the design of the place 😍
Turn down service was my highlight just coming back to the bed ready to sleep and the slippers laid out and calming music playing. Amazing, once the building is finished definitely 5 stars.
M. U.
Visited the hotel for a conference. Great location - only a short walk from Paddington Station. Great facilities - the basement conference room easily sat 600 people. Lunch was delicious! Look forward to next years conference here!!
T. M.
The public rooms were fine but the bedroom, although well kept obviously without the 'brand new' feel because of the age of the hotel. Followed by delicious edible art in the form of sweet treats, macaroons, lollipops (with added zing) and of course delicate cupcakes. The night service was very good.
S. W.
Fantastic hotel. Staff very friendly and passionate. Always there when you would need them. Location is superb. Great breakfast too.
M. G.
It's pricey, but wow! Since the rooms got the update, it's a piece of class! The rooms are to die for. Bar and food excellent. One of the best hotels I have ever stopped in, anywhere in the world.
R. S.
I love staying in the Royal Lancaster when visiting London. It has everything you'd come to expect from a well run hotel. The staff are exceptionally polite and helpful and the two restaurants in the premises cater for everybody's taste and have a brilliant atmosphere!
v.
First of all , the location is perfect. We just had breakfast there with my friend and the eggs royal we had with the hollandaise sauce were simply amazing ! Second of all, the staff. Our waitress was very kind and professionnal. However, I did not really understand the lady who took us to our table. We wanted to have one of the lovely table by the beautiful bay window overlooking hyde park, and she said that all the tables(there were 4 left) were booked. And I supposed as we were not client of the hotel those tables may be kept for them. Ok, I can understand. What I dont get is that a couple came at one of those table ,( untill then still fine) and at the end(we finished around the same time) we both paid our bill as we both were not client of the hotel!(when you are a client of the hotel they charge everything on the room bill). I'm maybe wrong but what I think was because the couple and her were from the same nationality, she made an excpetion for them. I can even understand that, but because we came early and as the breakfast room was clearly not busy, she could have been kind and do that for us too because when we left, only one out of the 3 tables still available have being used , the other two were still free...and the réception lady when I called the day before told me just to come in as they don't take breakfast table's reservation...I know it is only about a table and things are way worse in life but it is just a matter of principles and fairness between the customers. And anyway, discrimination is wrong and that's how I felt. But I still will return to this beautiful hotel for more breakfast (or for a night!) because apart from this lady's unappropriate attitude(she asked all the tables around if they were fine but us)had a lovely time and we found the rest of the staff really lovely. And one more thing : you should have more different kind of green tea because not everyone likes peppermint green tea for breakfast!
C. K.
Attended an Awards Ceremony here. Beautiful venue and a really good location, very easy to get to from Liverpool Street. The facilities we saw and used were lovely, the 3 course meal served at the ceremony was delicious and very well presented.
D. T.
Very nice hotel.staff friendly and very welcoming.

We marked our daughter’s birthday by staying at the hotel for 2days. Amazing location. Very clean. Amazing breakfast area.

Great locatio and fab thai restaurant

Great hotel would stay again
S. A.
The most wonderful hotel in terms of location, comfort and staff who were ever so helpful and acknowledging.
The hotel is a few meters away from Lancaster gate tube station making it so easy to get around London. Hyde park is across the road and shopping and markets are only a few tube stops away.
We had a standard room and they gave us a corner room on a high floor which overlooked the London eye and the city scape as well as Hyde park. I would highly recommend this hotel and I would def be going back to stay there.
S. G.
Large square tower block appended to a ground floor vase collection.

The most spectacular aspect of this hotel is are the staff. Their attention to detail, friendliness, accommodating characters and professionally smart appearance is a real credit to the hotel. However the hotel itself feels like a 4* masquerading as a 5*. On the surface it looks very nice and upscale but my room just did not function very well as it should have. Of course the views over Hyde Park are stunning. I was on the 18th floor in a suite.
Most disappointing was that during my 3 days I kept trying to have a hot bath but the water was never hot enough for one. I even tried at 4 am (I was jet lagged). The lighting isn't user friendly. In my room you couldn't just have the lounge light on without have the main overhead lights on. I called the engineer but he said that is the way it's wired. The lights in the bathroom are just on one switch which is too bright if you get up in the middle of the night and just need a low dim light to guide your way.
The coffee machine didn't come with any instructions or menu as to what each of the different coloured pods tasted like.
The milk sachets were too small and very fiddly to open, and the TV had an annoying message running through the middle something about a widget not being compatible which I just couldn't remove.
My biggest frustration was not being able to have a hot bath but there is a lot to like about the room too. The bed linen, towels and robes were very high quality, the staff are definitely 5* and the location is fabulous.
N. P.
Had a great stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, loved the views of Hyde Park. Great location, close to the tube and train station. Thai restaurant was delicious. The staff made it a really great stay though.
P. B.
Very nice hotel undergoing a major refurbishment. The room we had was one of the older ones but clean and well equipped. Staff amazingly friendly and really cannot do enough to make your stay a memorable one.
N. S.
The public areas are stunning. However, despite the extensive renovations to the rooms, I didn't feel that they were anything special. Certainly not worth the money. I feel there are far better hotels in the area.
T. M.
The hotel looked very cozy when decorated during the holidays. The fact that I could get up at 7am, cross the road and run for an hour around the park is a bonus and set me up well for the day ahead. As a gesture they gave me free breakfastlocation great.
T. M.
Having indulged at the afternoon tea at the Lancaster twice previously, some of my family and friends decided to pay a visit for the Halloween themed extravaganza and we were not disappointed. Location was perfect for my purpose and close to plenty of great eateries around Bayswater. The room was always clean.
A. B.
It was my first time and i am glad that I stayed there. I had the with a nice view. Food was good. Strongly recommended
M. L.
I had a drink in the bar of the Island Grill outlet, I was welcomed and served by a very friendly bartender (sorry I didn't catch his name). The drink was good. I know the Lancaster and its strive for perfection, no improvements needed on this bit :)
V. N.
I did group booking and online link didn't work from India so I told them I will pay by card once I check in.. to my shock my card had limit of transaction and group booking amount was way bigger than the daily amount of transaction. Not only front desk executive steffainni but the management staff went beyond the limits to co operate me this fiasco ... I really appreciate the way they helped me. Good place and very good people.
S. H.
Attended a conference here, didn't stay over, so I'm not sure why Google want me to add a review. The hotel was OK, the public spaces were nice enough, but there wasn't enough seating in the lobby or lounge areas. Good public WiFi though, and the catering at the conference was pretty good.
P. S.
It is sometimes hard to tell the difference with a 5* hotel. This one does feel like one. The attention to detail is clear. It's spotless. There are people there to help you everywhere. Options for food and drink. Fitness area. I would happily stay here again.
Y. B.
Elegant and stylish hotel, great location in London opposite Hyde Park, easily accessible by tube. Very friendly and helpful staff! In summer make their own honey with bee hives on the lower roof top. Proud to offer locally sourced beer (tasty), and generally aiming to operate in a more sustainable way.
M. D.
Amazing hotel in super location!
D. R.
Mediocre food, excellent bogs
T. M.
Room very small but it was London so to be expected. The hotel is serviced by lifts and there are allot higher rooms so this is great. Staff have been exceptional nothing to much and always with a smile on their faces. Looking forward to my next trip to London and of course the Lancaster.
S. M.
Nice hotel. Renovated. Perfect location, walking distance from Paddington. Standard rooms are not very spacious though, but OK for a short stay
S. W.
Well located and quite plush but many of the rooms don't live up to the rest of the surroundings. The bar prices do though! Visited a few times for conferences and dinners and it is a great place for such events
T. M.
Stay here often as work nearby. What I liked best is the accessibility of transport facilities. Room on 8th floor recommended to capture the London skyline. A hand written welcome card from the ***ager made us feel that as a client, we really did matter. We were very happy with our choice.
U. S.
Comfortable and functioning with attentive staff.
L. P.
Friendly and very helpful staff from concierge to reception & bar staff - all friendly and accommodating.
Valet parking and pre bookable parking spaces. Very welcoming hotel and great location.
M. O.
My husband and I were visiting London and decided to stay at this hotel. What an excellent choice! The staff was friendly and attentive and the rooms were comfortable and up to date. What a great hotel!
L. D.
What a gem!! Surprised by this Hyde Park hotel, incredibly conveniently located next to the central line! Rooms are perfect for what one needs in London...complete with heated floors! Lovely staff. Really enjoyed my time tbrre.
S. D.
Superb event space on the ground floor. Very well laid out. Door and reception staff unfortunately very snooty, and refused to offer a helping hand moving equipment in the early hours- did not even allow access to a simple luggage trolley!
M. P.
This hotel has been recently remodelled and is beautiful. The staff is very helpful and quick to respond to any needs. It is in a great location with easy access to the tube. I strongly recommend staying here.
P. S.
Good hotel. Close to Paddington. Room a bit on the small side but thoightfully configured. Good for a business traveller. Used their conference facilities, worked well but a tad too utilitarian.
Bar was not so great. Breakfast in the restaurant was typical english with some asian as well.
E. S.
Very nice hotel but over priced for what you get. Beds weren't very comfortable. Restraint and bar where ok and pricey and service wasn't the best.
R. H.
Thank goodness there are still a few luxury hotels in London that offer smoking rooms.
Easy check in and out, room clean, bed comfortable, exactly what you should get from a hotel stay.
B. D.
Stayed for a a Christmas event. Rooms very clean and in excellent condition. If I were to find anything negative it would be that the standard rooms are quite small. Other than that everything is top notch!
T. M.
From the minute you arrive you are made to feel welcome. The staff took very good care of the children including allergy concerns. I found the hotel to be an amazing location for Hyde park and Oxford street. You exit the hotel and the metro is just around the corner.
T. B.
First-class experience, staying 4 nights at the Royal Lancaster. The hotel has been through a total refurb, and it's now very nice in all aspects, with curteous staff, good restaurants, and superb rooms.
I had a City View room on the 9th floor, and it was immaculate in every way. All amenities in place, and it all made for a very pleasant stay. I will certainly be back in the near future.
D. F.
Hotel is great. It os currently under construction but they still manage to make it feel great. I would greatly recommend it. However, do not pay for the breakfast. Too expensive. There are multiple restaurants in the area that serve great breakfast for much less
D. A.
Had another excellent stay at the Lancaster. Good size rooms, comfortable beds and a great location. The staff here are always friendly and very helpful. Breakfast in the Island Grill is superb.
T. F.
I haven't been there. It was on the news and that made me look at the website!!
It looks like a very nice hotel.
C. B.
Rooms were very clean and we'll kept. Staff were great and hotel was still really welcoming and pleasant even though there's lots of building work going on. Would definitely stay again
K. M.
The hotel has undergone significant renovation. Great venue for a two day conference with meeting rooms to accommodate different sizes of breakout sessions.
The hotel is right next to the Lancaster Gate tube station and about 7 minute walk from Paddington station.
B. S. P.
Very kind staff, excellent service. Breakfast staff remembers your coffee choices, food preferences and makes amazing suggestions. 100% recommended
N. J.
Stayed for 3 days during visit the Chelsea flower show. It was the 5:th time and there will be more. The room was smaller than before but it's clean and the staff is the best.
D. B.
We left booking our rooms a little late in the day. We found three rooms available but at 280 pounds per room. The quality of the rooms didnt really warrant the price in my opinion. I have stayed in nicer hotels for less money. Service and staff very pleasant.
H. A.
The location is superior, if you are interested in the shopping area within Oxford street or want to visit the Hyde park for a quality walk. However, the hotel is currently being renovated, so most current rooms are outdated and rusty. On the other hands, the staff are very helpful and friendly, thus making the stay much more enjoyable. Side note: the car parking policy in this hotel is stupid I recommend that you park in the nearest parking spot if you don't want to spend £45 every 24Hrs.
R. D.
Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea in the mesmerising Royal Lancaster hotel. They offer a generous collection of teas and the food was as delicious as it was gorgeous. thanks to the wonderfull staff for making us feel so welcome and comfortable. And hats off to the kitchen for preparing these divine delicacies.
N. M.
Great location, fairly priced for area, room was wonderful from personal and business perspective, great views from rooms. Staff was fantastic! Lobby is chic yet roomy and comfortable. Amenities in room, including USB charging ports (no converters required), TV mirroring to devices, towel warmers in bath, great lounging and work spaces. Great restaurants on site and in-room dining, and lots is walkable dining/cafes surrounding. Hyde Park just across the street, and shopping all walkable, e.g. Oxford Street, Convent Gardens / Apple Market, etc. Highly Recommend. Would definitely stay again!
R. F.
A wonderful hotel with fantastic rooms and service, especially loved the heated floor in the bathroom. Only downside was the works being carried out from around 8:30am, wish they had waited until at least 9 but then I like a lie in!
T. C.
5 star my arse. Beautiful interior and location but lacking in facilities. How can a hotel consider itself 5 star without a pool, a spar and a single restaurant (with very tasteless food and less than a dozen options). Focus is very much on pompous service with staff taking ages to deliver and unable to adapt.
E. S.
Wonderful location. The rooms were a bit dated (felt a bit 90s). The service was good and the hotel bar was nice. Overall good experience although I wish the hotel will renovate the rooms.
D. D. V.
What you would expect from a 5 star hotel great for all your needs.
A. M.
Very nice
B. J.
What an amazing place to stay,, the staff are so warm and welcoming the rooms are spotless and such a great location 5 minutes to all the best shopping areas and across the road you have hyde park so you can relax and enjoy some lunch in what feels like paradise ,,, highly recommend a visit and a stay in this beautiful hotel
L. J.
Visited the R. Lancaster this summer. It will be our "go-to" hotel in London. Room Service was excellent. Our room service order was only "slightly' delayed. The FB Manager (i.e. Food and Beverage.......not fbook) personally delivered the order. Dinned at the Nipa Thai restaurant on site. Food was excellent. Afternoon tea was truly good. Font Desk and Concierge personnel all very professional and really take care of the guests. Looking forward to our next visit.
M. S.
Love this hotel cos of the location. The facilities are good too. Pity they don't offer hot choc drink in the room anymore. Before their renovation they used to.
M. C.
The hotel is finished to a high standard, and the staff are very attentive. However I've had to drop a star as apparently it's ok for them to allow building works on the exterior walls when guests would still be in bed.
M. S.
What to say... the hotel has everything ..better than any other i have seen in the same category and context. Rooms a bit little but you don’t feel it. Well done
J. B.
Could not fault my stay. Great location on top of Hyde park with stunning views. Amazing food and too quality service. Highly recommend.
T. W.
Great stylish event venue.
M. S.
Have worked on many events here as Production crew for Awards and Conferences. Great location, rooms and staff and it's pretty much been like that for over 30 years that I have been coming!

For some reason, each time I travel to London, I ended up in a different hotel. Royal Lancaster is one of my favorite hotel. Room decoration is modern and it very is functional. Too bad they had WiFi issues during my last stay.
T. F.
Friendly international staff always smiling. Lovely fitness facilities and restaurants.
A. L.
Newly refurbishing their facility and it helps the look of the hotel. There is no pool in the facility though. But other than that it is really good stay! Very nice experience overall.
S. C.
Really lovely stay. Felt welcome and relaxed. We went to see a show in the dominion theatre and the location of the hotel was perfect for tubing Around London
T. M.
Close to transportation for hop on hop off tours and places to eat. The concept and presentation of ARTea was fun and exciting: sandwiches and cakes were presented in an art box and were tastefully presented. Breakfast has a massive choice for the continental or you can upgrade for a freshly made full English.
A. K.
Great hotel.
Even better since the refurbishment
J. T.
Lancaster London hotel is a pretty decent venue for an awards ceremony. The food is quite unique, but not super fine. The hotel is quite nice, not intimidatingly lavish, but not simple that it's not much too remember. Would rate it average.
J. A.
A marble and mirror palace... Not to my taste. Don't book the basement venue room for your events, it's frustrating to have to climb stairs every time you want to find a proper bar with decent whisky, or a toilet!
In the event of a zombie apocalypse, I'd imagine the Royal Lancaster would be promptly overrun. Difficult to secure, and in the middle of the most populated city in the UK... However, a large and determined group could turn the place into a fortress, with Hyde park nearby for hopelessly optimistic efforts at post apocalyptic agriculture.

Not bad

This is a five star hotel centrally located in excluded and safe area of London. It is a walking distance from Oxford Street. The 18-floors hotel has 411 rooms. The 411 air-conditioned rooms features minibars. It operates 24 hours front desk, room service and fitness facilities. It is a smoke-free property and dog are not allowed. Communication is not a problem as it has multilingual staff. It is so located that its across the street from the popular Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, both popular with joggers all year round, and with sunbathers and picnickers during summer months. The check-in time for the hotel which has two restaurants is from 3:00pm while the checkout time is 12 noon. The staff are friendly, helpful and reliable. The toilets are sparklingly clean. It is a very good place for the invidual, family and corporate organisations for relaxation, meetings and related events. The Partington station that has a direct link to London Heathrow Airport is the nearest station. It is highly recommended.
T. M.
The staff was very nice and thoughtful, proactively proposed two connected rooms for our family when checking in. We enjoyed the closer experience during our 4 nights stay very much.
T. C. N.
Beautiful hotel - rooms are being refurbished currently and are looking great. Some beautiful views of Hyde Park. Great, friendly service and the location is perfect - 5 minute walk from Paddington station, and right across from Hyde Park.
a. s.
Loved the hotel attended a family wedding reception..loved the hall nice size and well managed and maintained.. only issue you may have is with any central london hotel is parking..£20 for3 hours..and with limited spaces..
T. B.
Absolutely amazing. Great room with spectacular views. Nothing too much for staff. Very attentive and polite.
r. m.
The room is Amazing. The shower is great! Staff was good. We were well rested.
D. T.
As a venue for a corporate dinner event, it was well laid out. The food was good, the service fine. Nothing exceptional, nothing bad. Getting to the venue is very easy due to proximity to national rail and tube stations.
r. r.
Loved tis hotel. The rooms are of great size and the bed and linen were of great quality. Feeled like in heaven while staying in tis place. Bell boys and other staff were polite and friendly .
M. S.
Beautiful hotel and very good fashion show. Only disappointing thing was they made a drink wrong simply because they had no lemonade. Professional thing would have been to make it properly or not make it at all!
E. R.
Great stay. Very good location. Excellent breakfast and Thai restaurant was also very good. At last a comfortable bed in London!
J. B.
Superior service, great location. My room was quiet, comfortable, with a views of Hyde Park. Easy walk to Paddington.

This review is based on using the function room at Royal Lancaster London, I went there for an afternoon event.
The service was great, the food was really good, the venue is very nice.

Clean and cozy room, the staffs are really helpful and nice to full fill our request , thanks to Matha !!! The porter is really patience...with our luggages moving from room to room... I really like the hotel service ... and this is our first day here ... cant wait to enjoy rest of our days here !

A fabulous hotel. Near underground and easy to get taxi. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Highly recommended.
H. H.
I used this hotel for a major business conference, circa 300 people.
Tired decor and possibly the slowest bar service in London, saved only by good food and some helpful staff.
P. V.
The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, food is decent, and the price is reasonable for what you get. I would stay here again.
J. M.
Attended for a conference. Nice venue, food was great and the location was excellent. All the conference rooms were freezing though, wish I hadn't checked my coat!
G. H.
The staff were very helpful. Great Venue for wedding. Lack of parking facility on site is a disadvantage as the street parking is not easy to find with a variable distance to walk.
a. c.
Great modern hotel right by Hyde park. Attended work function and was very impressed by the facilities, bedroom and all staff I encountered. I would recommend
V. S.
We attended for a wedding reception. Good location for London with high quality decor. Hall was great size and had a good drinks / canapé area.
M. D.
Service was acceptable and they offer a decent selection of foods including a continental breakfast and stands alone meals. Only stopped in just for breakfast and we're seated quite quickly.
J. S.
This was one of the nicest hotels that I have had the pleasure to stay at. The staff was friendly and the service was good. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.
R. I.
Used their business function facilities on two occasions. Excellent excellent excellent!
Well organised, clean, good staff to guest ratio and well maintained.
Well served by public transport.
T. P.
Pricey but great location. Great service and lovely clean rooms. The view I had was a bit dull and the elevators needed refurbishing but a good hotel nonetheless with a fantastic hall
J. R.
I had the very great pleasure in eating at the Lancaster's NipaThia resturant and it was totally stunning. The food was amazing and the service was just as good. We were looked after so well and all I can say is that I can't wait to go back. It's a gem of a place. We asked the resturant manager to choose didshes for us, explaining what we liked and didn't like and the selection was wonderful, he even chose the perfect wine to go with our meal. What can I say, I loved it.
K. G.
Very nice bar at the first floor, rooms have nice view and are charming. The location is really good.
J. S.
Lovely accommodations with friendly and attentive staff. Would definitely stay again.
S. S.
Absolutely spot on. Excellent location. Excellent rooms. Excellent staff. I look forward to returning there.

I attended a formal luncheon. Exceptional food, very good service, attentive waiters very sleek decoration and a pleasant environment. I thoroughly enjoyed.
P. H.
Excellent service,staff and service..
Unfortunately the noise levels from adjacent rooms made it impossible to sleep
B. S. S. B.
The Lancaster has an excellent location. Hyde Park is across the road and there is a tube station under the hotel. My steel drum band has performed there for some corporate parties during the conference season. The service is first class, as expected in a luxury hotel and they make your life very easy as a guest.
I. A.
Staff are amazing and very helpful. It is located a minute from the metro station and 10 minutes walking to the Hydepark or famous Edware road.
Rooms specious and modern, comfortable beds. The cabinet is to small!!
T. E.
Very good hotel and good sleep, if you ask for a room that is not facing to the busy streets. Great location near Paddington and Underground station just a couple of steps from your room.
J. Y.
Very close to lancaster metro gate, walking distance to hyde park. The room is quite small but i like its interior design, they are doing a good job arranging the furniture and all sort. Its quite hard to open my 2 big suitcases , but other than that i like this hotel.
P. B.
Room was very nice but the TV didn't work. Was unable to contact anyone on the front desk from the phone so had to go down. The bar was over priced.
J. p. M.
Great function rooms
P. S.
Very nice

Very lovely hotel nice room. Very nice Breakfast. In a good location opposite hyde park .

Staying directly @ the hydepark in 🇬🇧 london is the same #privilege as staying @ #centralpark in #newyork . The #royallancaster is an amasing place in the heart of the #UK #capital . The #5star #hotel doesn't need any commentar - everything is perfect 👌 . It cares about #sustainability in a metter that I've seen just @ small #family #hotels - it has a #honeyfarm on the #rooftop & serve #0miles beer 🍻 from local #brewery . If the #budget is no problem for you (as i hope) you should definitely stay there if you're visiting #London. Insider tip - try the best #asian #restaurant in the #city #nipathai #nipathailondon @ first floor of the Hotel. You will be as delighted 😋 as the #ambassadors & #vips that use to eat there with the most fine Thai cuisine (it really tastes like in Thailand 🇹🇭 - i tryed my self!) The staff are always polite and helpful. Rooms are good. And will be even better after the current upgrade programme they are undertaking.
Breakfast is excellent.

The hotel looks and feels stunning after the refurbishment. The views are perhaps the best you can have of London. Highly recommend the afternoon tea.
P. H.
Enjoyed a quiet and restful stay here for 2 nights in late March. Ate in the restaurant and found the service excellent.
J. V.
Gorgeous hotel. Only visited for an event but was very well looked after and the interior is stunning.
Y. E. F.
Great staff, especially Marta, very helpful. Rooms newly renovated. Great location, minutes walking to Paddington station and Heathrow express, marble arch, Oxford street. Right next to Hyde Park and lancaster station for buses and tube(subway).
T. T.
Extremely friendly staff and I Really love them All rooms Are big, bathroom larger than the most Room in London, Very lovely and luxury place, Excellent value for the price, Room service is faster that wind ((NOT COMPLIMENT)), thanks For Royal Lancaster Staff.
R. B.
Made the conference! I attended Property Drum here on Tuesday. From the off everything about the service provided by the Lancaster was exceptional - but the crowning glory was the lunch - Michelin star quality for 300 with no fuss/no queuing/wonderful selection. Well done the Lancaster!
C. R.
Perfect location. Superb room. Delicious food. Excellent and efficient service. Will return

If you want to do sightseeing in London, it's a perfect place to stay for couple of days . The hotel is directly located near hyde park and also the tube is just around the corner. Paddington station is in walking distance ( where the airport train leaves/arrives).The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. Room size is ok.
M. M.

Went to Royal Lancaster for afternoon tea today
Excellent views of Hyde Park from the restaurant
Delicious sandwiches and pastries
The chef and Victoria went out of their way to cater for part of our group who were vegan and vegetarian and nothing was too much trouble
HIGHLY Recommended

I stopped by to try their afternoon tea, which is family friendly. It is indeed, with amazingly dedicated staff that even stopped to draw with the kids when they felt I was getting slightly wary. They can even have a "normal" version of the treats or a slightly different one - the savoury sandwiches being replaced with peanut butter/jam/Nutella one and fruit skewers. They do get colourings too. Gorgeosu treats - the coronation chicken tart is amazing. Bonus points for the white chocolate lollipop with raspberry filling and popping candy. Do talk to the chef if you have a chance. The scones are perfect too - 70% cooked in advance, then warmed at the last minute when you are ready. A relaxing afternoon...
A. C.
Very honeycomby I thought. Spent ages just looking round the reception area. Felt like I should be wearing yellow or gold coloured clothes to fit in with the ambience.
Friendly and helpful staff.

Where to begin?! The Royal Lancaster Hotel at Lancaster Gate is an excellent hotel experience combining a great location, luxurious accommodations, and outstanding service. It was truly a royal experience, thank you so much.
C. G.
Great views of London, 25 mins outside the city, exceptional hotel with many luxurious amenities. Small rooms though, but ideal for the business traveler.
B. M.
5 * Hotel so everything is very swanky. If you have the money well worth splashing out. Just round the corner from Hyde Park.
E. K.
excellent cream tea! a lovely surprise for my mums 80th Birthday wonderful staff and tasty choice of teas and selection of food x
P. P.
I try and make this my go to London hotel when on business. Even though staying in the square mile is encouraged by my employer for convienience the short commute from Lancaster Gate to Bank is a good trade off when you receive excellent service, great breakfast and modern rooms.
Location wise it opens many options and a walk to Queensway for some local independent eateries or stroll across Hyde Park to Knightsbridge is all doable. In my opinion there will be no need to travel back into central for food and drink; try the Nipa Thai in the hotel (don’t forget to get your discount card from reception) or Bombay Palace a 10 minute walk away - both very good.
Just out for a drink with colleagues then the Mitre pub is nice place too.
The only downside is the room rates fluctuate by large margin compared to Hilton hotels so on some occasions the Royal Lancaster is over budget. It would be ideal if the hotel had flat business rates for frequent visitors as other hotels tend to do.

Great place for a ceremony
