Reviews of Royal London Hotel
Nice little hotel clean and good location. Will stay at again. Yes the rooms are not that big and the bathroom is tiny but it works great, clean, and be ours was new, was exactly what we needed. Staff good, had a place to keep luggage. And here's the best part the free breakfast was absolutely excellent with the cook taking your order for English breakfast
Unfortunately it doesn't quite live up to the name, but it's a decent accommodation and well located in terms of transport. Everything is clean, the bathroom looks modern. What's "interesting" is that you have to go two doors down across the street for breakfast...
The rooms are also equipped with a kitchen and do not lack useful household items for preparing food. Breakfast is included, although it has some flaws, such as a limited variety of food and sometimes no seating.
It's very cheap and cute.
Breakfast included in the room price.
It's convenient if you arrive at Heathrow airport because there is Hammersmith tube nearby.
It's not very far from central London.
For the rest... in the area the restaurants close early... and there aren't many interesting pubs..
Very, very bad Wi-Fi!!! In fact, there is none, although the hotel has three access points. They all fall off as soon as you enter the room. And on the street and at the reception they connect)))) I don’t know how you can sell this service... it’s just its appearance. Complaining to reception did nothing to improve the situation. In the 21st century, without a free Internet, this is terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But in general, everything is for your money: there is not enough space in the room, but the metro and amusement park with attractions are nearby. There is an adjustable radiator in the room, we don’t see any additional blankets)
Cozy hotel on the outskirts of London. The rooms were good, not that they were very clean and well maintained, but it could be worse. The towels are not changed daily, but everything is to help the environment. The best for my taste is breakfast, with scrambled eggs or fried eggs made to order, legendary beans in sauce and toast. Also cereal and yogurt, and jam and butter. I only missed a little more fruit, since they only had jarred fruit salad.
The reason I lowered the rating by 1 star was because the size of the room and the bathroom were small. There was breakfast, the bed was soft, and it was really close to the station. The only drawback was that there was no elevator, but it seemed difficult to find a room of this size for the price of 2.5 stations per night for 4 people. Additionally, the cleaning service every day was really neat.
It is a very cheap hotel and it is really very good, we will definitely return. The treatment has been very good and the breakfast included in the great price, they serve you at the table and prepare whatever you order. If you are looking for something cheap and good, this is your hotel. The photos are from room 102.
Spartan and small is nothing unusual for London. The first room was crooked and dirty, was then replaced (was also very clean), but the key card didn't work until the last day. One employee tried very hard, the other one had the feeling of being a nuisance. Breakfast was very simple (eggs, soggy toast, beans, cornflakes, canned fruit, yoghurt) and you had to quickly clear the table for the next guests, as there were probably four hotels attached to it.
The subway and bus are nearby, but that's normal with the good infrastructure in London.
Sorry, won't stay here again. :-/
The location is very good if you want to save a little money. The service is very good, the staff is very attentive. The rooms are good for two people, and the cleanliness and service is impeccable. The breakfast is typical English.
(Translated) · Everything came together, terrible about interior decoration and service, but here all is perfect for me, really comfortable, in the summer, everything is there, a spa, a bar, a restaurant, reasonable room service, sometimes it goes down, and the quality does not matter. Amazingly comfortable bed, just now I'm set here, I don't really want to see new, I find a place for myself, style, quality, atmosphere and a lot of comfort

I was there because my parents was guests at that hotel so I went only to pick tham up, but as they said the staff was very nice and helpfull even maybe a bit chaotic on the beginning. The rooms are spacious (was a triple room) and with private bathroom. Totally furnished with even hairheater and very clean.
Very clean and cozy. The rooms facing the street are somewhat noisy. Pretty good breakfast for London. The closet only had two hangers. But overall pretty good
Clean and spacious room. super clean bathroom and kitchenette. and a great breakfast. nothing to say. The best value for money of all the London hotels I have stayed in
Good hotel with excellent value for money, clean rooms and bathroom, the rooms are cleaned every day. Hammersmith tube station is a 10-minute walk away
Amazing location! Everything is right on the doorstep! It's a 5 minute walk from Shepherd Bush tube
The rooms are small but it's just for sleeping, comfortable bed
Clean, renovated and quiet room. The new bathroom but a little cramped.
Hotel close to 2 metro stations: Hammersmith and Shepherd’s Road.
Hotel very well located in London. Pleasant neighborhood. Breakfast too basic but room spotless
(Translated) Decent hotel for a short stay in London. The breakfast is quite complete and convivial. About 10 min walk to reach the metro. Carpet a little run down.

Hotel correct pour petit séjour à Londres. Le petit dej est assez complet et convivial. Environ 10 min de marche pour rejoindre le métro. Moquette un peu vétuste.
It was okay, the staff was very nice, adapters were borrowed, breakfast was very tasty, but it was too loud
Excellent location, good price for London standards, clean, reasonable breakfast. The beds are very old and uncomfortable.
Not very far from the center. Very comfortable, all the staff very kind and the rooms are always clean. I recommend it.
Better than some hotels I've stayed at in London. Totally adequate hotel for the price. Generous hot breakfast (eggs and beans) plus usual continental fayre. Stayed 5 nights. Was woken continuously on 4th night my scratching noise. On investigation in morning we found old food wrappers under bed and in drawer that cleaners has missed from previous tenant. Then shortly after a mouse appeared under bed. We notified reception and they offered us another room.
Clean and new bathroom, small room but there is everything you need, shame about the carpet, I don't love it!
Nice service, rooms clean but a bit noisy, breakfast okay but always the same, location great with great connections via bus and train.
Very good value for money for London. The only bad thing is that there are several buildings that belong to the same chain. Overall very good!!!
A quiet, clean place, suitable for sleeping, a hot shower, good attitude, close, a short walk to the tube station. Public transportation. The place is full of cafes + restaurants, I really liked the fair price
Clean, welcoming, warm rooms with a large shower, abundant breakfast and close to the bus stop.
The room is comfortable, cost-effective, the service attitude is good, and the breakfast is also good
The rooms are small, it's always like that in England. Clean friendly service.

3 étoiles pour le prix car se loger à Londres est cher. Ne faisons pas la fine bouche.
The room is clean but there was a strong smell in the corridor downstairs where the room was. The breakfast room was good. İf the smell is sorted then it is nice staying there.

I'm giving 3 stars just for the price and location. Otherwise rooms are very small, hard squishy beds. My body got itchy after staying here. We actually booked the Saba Hotel first, when we got to the Saba they said to go to different building, when got to the building they send us, there is a Note saying that we should go to other location.

Room was very clean and tidy. Small, but more than adequate for our needs as a one night stay, and amazing value for the cheap price we paid. Staff were courteous and hotel is ideally situated near the metro station. Would definitely stay again.
En-suite was small but we'll fitted and very clean. Bed room was also cleaned every day with fresh towels daily. Would stay again
Dusty and the drain in the shower not working right. But for a one night stay totally ok, the breakfast was great. Has some quite good shops around.
Small clean room (2 adults & 2 children just fitted). Efficient staff. Our room with streetview suffered from the street noise...
Correct price for what we've had.
Hot due to heatwave and no aircon but I survived. Had to listen to a German couple shagging at 3 am so that was probably the only real down side. The morning breakfast is fantastic, scrambled eggs, beans, weetbix, danishes, fruit ect load up for the day before you go out. Will definitely stay here next time I’m in London. Thanks
This hotel is worth every penny of the budget cost of the stay. I mean this as a positive comment. Yes, the rooms are compact, yes the bathroom is small and we had to climb 7 sets of stairs but the rooms were spotless and well kept, the hallways, staircases and reception were clean & tidy and the slightly unconventional beans & egg breakfast was freshly cooked and served by friendly staff.
Not too far from Hammersmith Apollo, pleasant breakfast, and pleasant room. WiFi didn't have a strong signal and was a bit useless and room are split across many buildings but otherwise good stay.
Price was cheap, room was clear and breakfast was ok but this was the smallest hotel room in my travelling history. It was about 8 m2 together with the bath...
Horrible. Stayed 3 nights in one of this hotels sister inns the Hotel 65. Very bad experience. Was placed in a dirty below street level room. At £100 a night it's no bargain for sure. Avoid!
Not the best cleaning but helpful staff. Convenient for a night or two if you're not gonna spend a lot of time at the hotel. Close to bustops, foodplaces/coffee shops and Westfield Fashion Square
Nice homely place at a good price for london. Friendly staff. The cons I can think of were the fluctuating wifi connection, barely cold fridge and the fact that it can be kinda noisy cuz of the traffic.
Clean room but that is all the plus side. We were asked to leave the room before 11am despite the booking confirmation stating 11:30. The shower switched between lukewarm, ice cold and scolding. Bed was uncomfortable but this is likely to be personal preference.
Very clean decor modern ..beds quite comfy room quite small but all amenities..but no remote for tv
small rooms and small bathrooms, have to go a few doors down for breakfast and you can hear the traffic, despite it is lovely and the food is good.
Stay was good.
Some wifi issue due to heavy Snowfall(said by hotel owner) that time, not sure about this.
I love morning breakfast here.
Top place, professional and experienced staff look after you really well, very clean rooms and close to shops and main stations
The hotel was quite small, but had all the amenities you needed. Our room was up several flights of stairs, which were fairly narrow. The room itself was small, with a few basics like a TV and simple tea-making facilities. It was adequate for staying one night, but if staying for longer then I would recommend looking somewhere else.
Decent small hotel, good breakfast, but not the place if you really need quietness
You basicly get what you pay for, but it definetly covered our needs. The walls aren't soundproof though, so if you can't sleep with noise, consider staying somewhere else.
Average accommodation and breakfast, good price for London
But old and not clean furniture, and noisy at night.
Good stay, it is budget hotel, you get what you pay for. Good sleep, reasonably clean.
Breakfast ok.
Smaller than advertised and horrible blankets they could atleast be white. They also need duvets in winter because there's no heating.
I don't know how much it costs, I didn't pay for it but everything was very clean, silence, tea in the room, enough sugar, enough milk, everything was ok.
Room size was small but expected. The bed was hard with a flat pillow. Other than that it was an ok hotel
We stayed a week here and it was an ideal location. A walk to trains or buses. Restaurants and pubs in the area are good.
Pretty budget hotel but you get what you pay for. Free WiFi and the only cooked breakfast you get is eggs.
Very clean and friendly with good transport links throughout London the rooms are compact but very clean and quiet, the staff are very friendly
I booked 3 rooms (1 x quad, 2 x triple) as we were a group of 9 for one night. The experience was much better than expected! The quad room and one of the triple rooms were really modern and freshly painted/decorated which was a lovely surprise as the images online didn't look as nice. However, one of the triple rooms hadn’t been newly painted or decorated and looked quite dated. That being said, the bathroom was nice and the room was fine, it just seems unfair to be paying the same rate for a room that’s not as nice. The Wi-Fi was good and the staff were really helpful with my questions and didn’t seem phased about having a group of young adults there. The walls were quite thin and we could hear conversations of people in other rooms but that wasn’t a big problem at all. Having no lift in the buildings and being on the 3rd floor made it a struggle to keep quiet walking up the stairs when we came back at about 4am but we tried our best to be respectful of other guests sleeping. Due to seeing negative reviews about breakfast, we didn’t bother and ate elsewhere, after all, we were expecting a place to sleep not a gourmet meal. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced place to stay close to central London (30 mins on tube) then I’d highly recommend this place. Thanks for having us!
The only salvation was the breakfast and cleaning staff. If not for them, I would have given 2 stars at the most.
The triple bedrooms are a bit crowded and the bathrooms too small. Overall too pricy for the facilities.
Its location is perfect, a really clear hotel and stuff is so helpful... Next time I will be stay at same hotel...
Comfortable bed. Lovely staff. Room was a tad warm.
Cheap and cramped but nice and clean. Friendly staff. Great location.
Very nice place!! Didn't stay long but looks great!!
I got cleaned everyday which was nice, but the toilet flush scared me :)
It was cheap for a hotel in London and was very well presented.
Great staff. Very clean. Inconsistent water temperature.
Good location , nice reception ; near from halal restaurants and underground station
Pros: Fairly good location within walking distance of a few stations. We locked ourselves out of our room by accident and the front desk got us a new key easily. Also, the breakfast was good and the ladies cooking breakfast took good care of us and were very patient and kind. Cons: Beds are very firm, shower yo-yos between burning hot and icy cold within a few seconds, and the room service is somewhat lazy. We had 3 towels when we checked in, but when we came back after being out, we only had 2 towels. The travel soaps are only partly refilled and not a completely new set.
Very good hotel TV was a bit dodgy but overall good for the price
Good place to stay, close to connections, great value.
Well located and for a simple and single stay.
Lovely clean and friendly will definitely return x
Good for the price we paid. Helpful staff.
Accomodations are small but room is clean.
Friendly staff and good coffee in the hustle and bustle of London... What's not to like.
Thanks really good week!
Serious and good first lunch!
Excellent staff in night shift.. specially the guy name is Hussain..
Basic but clean so far so good
The hotel is pretty clean, couple of hairs found in the bathroom but that was about it.
The real issue I had was with the noise. We were given the room closest to entrance and the walls are paper thin, so all we could here were people coming in and checking in at late hours
Clean, warm and reasonably comfortable.
Hotel is okay for last minute price
May be not the best but also not the worst. The location is an advantage
Reasonable quality and location for reasonable price.
Great little hotel for those on a budget
Cheap room in a good location
Had a nice stay here.
Good and clean hotel
Nice and clean hotel.
Nice clean room
Me and my mates were treated like royalties at the hotel during our stay, great food, beautiful view, clean and spacious rooms not to forget the friendliest staff members. One of the nicest events was meeting with my rugby heroes in the foyer, symbolic of the fact that Royal Hotel caters for all people irrespective of their social standings they receive the exact same service, every patron is a queen and king. Thank you for your hospitality
Very nice and clean!
Very good
Clean budget hotel
Nice place for the price
It's amazing!
Ok
its very crowded
Ok
Excellent
Walking distance to Apollo
Registration was ok, room comfortable. Breakfast room opened a bit after 8am on Sunday, and had a queue waiting at 5 past 8. Breakfast was good though. Didn't expect eggs with the continental breakfast, nor to be asked how I wanted my eggs
Excellently okay.
Nice

Good place
Room was comfy, clean and came at a good price. It was in a good location, which was useful because it was close to a gig I was going to. Only complaint is the room smelt a bit weird, kind of like a wet dog smell? It was a room below ground level so maybe the room needed to be aired out more? But the room was clean so I wasnt too worried about it.
Good place
Royal London Hotel.
(Translated) Excellent solution at affordable prices. Rooms not huge but always clean. Plentiful and discreet breakfast. Courteous staff. Excellent possibility to leave luggage even after check out. Very close to the main subway and bus lines.
(Original)
Ottima soluzione a prezzi convenienti. Camere non grandissime ma sempre pulite. Colazione abbondante e di discreta qualità. Personale cortese. Ottima la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli anche dopo il check out. Vicinissimo alle principali linee metropolitana e autobus.
The rooms are very small and being three of us we found ourselves a bit stuck. The hotel is quite clean and is equipped with TV and WiFi.
Breakfast is self-service, leaving out the scrambled eggs and toast which are made on the spot by the hotel girls. One problem is certainly the noise of cars and motorbikes on the street which is very annoying at night. Two other problems encountered were the shower being very difficult to open and the sink being half blocked.
Hotel in an excellent location 200 meters from the bus stop and 500 meters from the metro, an area full of shops, restaurants, pubs, but at the same time quiet. Zone 2 but with just a few steps you were already in zone 1. The hotel is a 3 star and reflects the photos and expectations. Good cleaning with towels changed every day. We had booked a triple room, upon arrival we asked if they would give us a room with a microwave and they put us in one with a kitchenette, complete with washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Excellent quality/price ratio. The only negative thing was that the room card got demagnetized twice in 4 days, but at the reception they fixed it for us in 1 minute.
Absolutely recommended.
Small, surprising low cost hotel to say the least. Considering the negligible cost, the value for money is very high. Breakfast included and plentiful, very large and spotless room, friendly staff and excellent location just a few minutes walk from 3 metro stops. Overall, a very pleasant surprise. When I return to London I will try to stay here
Nice rooms, functional but not excellent service. The location is good, 5 minutes walk from the Undergroung. In the included breakfast you don't have much choice (scrambled eggs, fried or beans and cereals) but it's good and a large portion.
Excellent location, located opposite the bus stop which takes you to Hammersmith tube in just three stops which is connected to the main London tube lines. The rooms are very small but clean, the staff are friendly, the breakfast is satisfying. Perhaps the only flaw is the narrow stairs and the absence of a lift but the structure will have a maximum of three floors. The neighborhood is quite quiet with pubs, cafes and supermarkets all quite cheap. Excellent value for money.
Small rooms and bathroom, but it is ideal if you want to save money while still having comfort and cleanliness. Desk office and breakfast room staff helpful and friendly. The Hotel is located a few minutes walk from Westfild shopping center and Shepherd's Bush tube station.
We got room no. 2 - tiny, but sufficient for my needs. Two separate beds, wardrobe, small table, TV and a window onto the neighboring building. I will add that the window was broken and I couldn't close it, which meant that since the room was in the basement, you could easily enter from the outside. The room felt damp, but this is probably a common problem in the UK. Microscopic bathroom!!! Literally. I undressed outside because I couldn't fit in and I'm not big. Breakfast was okay, nothing great, but filling. The only thing I missed was vegetables. There are several very nice restaurants and pubs nearby, as well as 2 metro stations. The service was very pleasant and organized.
The hotel itself is an old town house with converted rooms, the doors have card entry (which also allows access through the front door). The room we had (number 14) was small but it had a fairly comfortable bed and a very clean bathroom. The bathroom seemed newly tiled and both rooms were clean and tidy, although don't expect too much privacy in the bathroom as the bed is so close the door doesn't open the whole way; also worth mentioning if you have long legs you may have to think creatively about how you sit on the loo (sorry if that was TMI)! The room had a quirky slant, it seemed to dip in the middle, although it didn't seem to make much of a difference to our stay, other than adding a bit of comedy. The breakfast service was actually in the hotel next door which was a bit odd, and we weren't told so we had to figure that one out ourselves! The food was very well prepared quickly by a small team in an open kitchen. The choices on offer were: - Scrambled or fried egg on toast - Beans on toast (or with egg) - Cornflakes - Wheatabix - Unlimited pastries, teas, coffees (automatic vending machine) and orange juice (carton left on each table) Overall I would say that if you are looking for somewhere to rest your head for a night after a gig or convention etc then this place is great, but I would personally rule out any extended stay.
