Simple check-in and check-out process, friendly staff and wonderful in-room Marshall speaker systems. But. Windows let in a lot of noise from the street and the room doors let in a lot of noise from the corridor, so sleeping past 0700h might be a challenge, especially if the rumbling trains nearby vibrating the very foundations aren't something you can ignore.
There is a lovely market on some days in Lower March street, just outside the hotel and fortunately you won't sleep-in and miss it. The hotel and rooms are decorated nicely though, so there's that. I had hoped for more, but if you set expectations accordingly then you'll be fine.

After a long break from travelling, I was able to stay at the Ruby near Waterloo.
To sum up - it was a great experience! Nice rooms, really cool design in the lobby/cafe&bar. When Friends visited m, they were also very impressed by the design.
The room was clean and the mattress comfortable.
But mostly stays in my mind the fantastic team - always friendly, always smile on face. I really enjoyed sitting at the bar in the evening and chatting with Alex and Piotr after a long day outside.
Happy to come back some day.
Also, the location - really comfortable and NO traffic in front of the windows.

Have just arrived at Ruby Lucy Hotel, London. First impressions count and so far they have.... cool, quirky and quick to access from Waterloo Station! Reception staff friendly. Room clean and fresh. Ruby Radio to rock to in the room. Window view from our room not so rockin' but all in all would recommend for cleanliness, friendliness and closeness to where you would like to be!

Really nice staff and bar area, only issue room 316 has a strange layout, 1m section of bed has access to the room, rest blocked by walls and units, so one person has to climb over the other to use toilet in the night, not ideal and that wasn't even the cheapest room type. Would not stay In that room again. Other than that, very nice.

A quirky design and comfortable hotel close to Waterloo station. The room was spacious for a London city hotel with great soundproofing and good use of space. The open shower may turn off sharing with a friend but for a solo or couple visit no problem at all. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was pretty basic but enough to get you started each day with fresh coffee or a selection of teas included. The street outside the hotel has food stalls each day providing plenty of options for grabbing a bite to eat while heading out to explore London. I enjoyed my stay.

Very stylish and brand new hotel in the heart of London city centre. I really liked gallery on each floor where I could grab tea anytime. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Spacious rooms
Highly recommended to come and visit.

Crazy design of room was an issue.
Only a small gap to get in bed and one person had to climb over the other to get out. Even on the good side you could not even swing your legs over to exit. Anyone with difficulties would not be able to manage. bed very low to floor as well.
Hardly any storage or even hooks to hang up coats etc.
No where for bags or case etc
Ok for one night anything more is a struggle.
Bad design of bathroom means the show opens into the toilet! what's the point in a shower mat!
This really means we would not stay again.
Despite a message saying i have received an invoice i still have no, no reply on email or messenger and no response on phones. Not good enough for a 4 star hotel.

Superb location 6 minutes walk from Waterloo Underground in a trendy area with bars and restaurants and a food market in the street every morning
The hotel itself is trendy but warm and it really makes you feel like rock star.
Standard room is cozy and comfortable for a solo traveler.
Beds and shower are absolutely amazing. Their in house shower products smell wonderful no need to bring your own!
Room came with plenty speaker AND a guitar amp for which you can hook up a guitar from the bar
Absolutely loved this hotel. Will be coming back for sure

First time i booked in Ruby Lucy hotel. Really pleased with everything. Well priced, nice room , good breakfast. The staff was really kind and helpful. The area also is really good with many shops around. I would definitely go again. Thank you. Chris

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were incredibly friendly and my room was perfect for what I was looking for. The proximity to the tube, as well as the surrounding area were definitely a plus. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed at the Ruby Lucy Hotel for business. The staff are very professional & gave a warm welcome upon arrival, which was a little earlier than I expected 1pm. This wasn't a problem & I was soon in my room, the room was very clean, spacious & airy.
I would highly recommend this hotel, as it very modern & unique in it's style & the staff are fantastic.

So great experiences in this hotel , it was very clean and comfortable and the location was fantastic, only a five minute walk from Waterloo metro station, conveniently fro our trip. Me and my friend spent five wonderful nights at this hotel , and even became good friends with the bartender-Gregg who was so so so lovely and enthusiasm .He also made intoxicating drinks and beverages for us. This is a very memorable time for me!
E. H.
The hotel is in a great location with lots of bars , cafes and restaurants around the area also great transport links being so close vto Waterloo. The hotel itself has a great atmosphere and a cool bar area. Room was spacious with a great shower.

Very cool and modern hotel in a fantastic location next to Waterloo and Lower Marsh Market.
We were greeted on arrival by a member of staff who was very friendly and helpful. They stored our luggage for us and even managed to get us into our room by 1pm so we could get ready for a wedding.
The room was big by London standards and had a very comfy bed, a massive shower and Marshall amps to plug a phone into. Great idea.
We've already booked to go back in December and I think we have found our favourite hotel in London. Highly recommended
R. V.
The hotel is nice and the staff is very friendly. The affordable (cheaper one) room option might be too small for two people, specially because there's not a lot of counter space or closet. The place is also not all of that that some reviews make it seem like, it's just a nice hotel in a great location. Could be a little less expensive? probably. But the fact that you can walk for 15 minutes and be close to many attractions is great. It's also very close to at least 2 different train stations and 3 tube lines.
A. B.
I liked the feel & decor, but it has some functional issues. Most importantly the pillows, which are super puffy. A thin pillow would be great for stomach sleepers.
Good location, quiet and very nice staff.
E. O.
Great little hotel to stay at with music inspired contemporary design. Don't forget to spend some time downstairs at the bar and enjoy their amazing cocktails and drinks. Very friendly staff aswell.
L. W.
+ Great location. Easy access to the rest of central London.
+ Great theme.
+ Clean, nice room.
+ Got a free room upgrade.
+ Good selection of drinks at the bar.
+ I read on the elevator wall that guitars were available to play. I called the staff out on it and they provided!
+ On-board with their offer to receive drinks vouchers instead of room cleaning.
+ Staff member (Piotr?) was most helpful.
- Food was not available in the lounge/bar area at midday despite being on the menu.
Conclusion: There are slightly cheaper places available to stay in London for the hotel basics (bed/loo), but here it was well worth any extra. Would come again.

I mean seriously this is going to sound over the top, but this is the best London hotel (suiting my needs) I have stayed in. Starting with location, the South Bank is my favourite area of the city, and where I wanted to spend my time. Lower Marsh is right in the heart of the action, yet chilled and removed from any drama. Next, the aesthetic of the brand is important, sometime I thought they were about to push it too hard, but I was wrong - they always got the line between form and function spot on. 'Lean Luxury' is the vision and it is perfect (for me). All the things you want - very comfortable bed, fabulous shower, great breakfast etc. are all there. But those things that actually make zero difference (to me) - mini-bar, room service, freshly ironed New York Times, aren't. And you don't miss them. Finally, and only to save the best until last, the Ruby Lucy team are amazing. I mean outstanding. Helpful, friendly, genuinely want you to have a good time and make the most of your stay. Excellent service throughout. I really couldn't recommend highly enough. I will be staying nowhere else in London, if they have availability. And I would probably alter my travel plans to when they have availability, it's that good

Together with my partner we went to London for a weekend to celebrate his birthday. We ve stayed in Ruby Lucy , and that was the best choice ever.
At arrival we received a warm welcome from Aki who in kindly way explained everything that we should know. The check in system is very easy as you need to self check in. Then we went to our room and the design was breathing. Room was very spacious ,light with balcony, bed very comfortable.
Bar area as the whole restaurant is designed in a modern / vintage style. Different chairs was the best choice to complete the whole look. As we went for a drink downstairs we have met other lovely members of the amazing team. Mirko , Alex and Piotr have amazing skills and know how to make a delicious cocktails. We also met Ashling and Iwona two extraordinary ladies, funny and very professional. I also would like to mention a night porter Tim who was very helpful , and was looking after us when we were coming late at night to the hotel .There also was Ang and Rick who were very welcoming .
Whole Ruby's team is excellent and worth meeting
Thank you all for making our stay unforgettable.

I had the loveliest two-night stay here with a girlfriend. Fantastic room, great views, service was terrific. We had some issues when we first checked in with a room that hadn't been cleaned properly. Gregory at the front desk sorted us out quickly and with much good cheer. We 24 hour bar is such a dope plus! The location is also UNBEATABLE. Will deff be back.
M. R.
This hotel made our London visit that much better! The whole experience from beginning to end. We were able to check in early (which was perfect since our flight got in early). Check in was easy and I loved how the key cards were dispensed from the counter. Love the tea and condiments bar with the communal iron/board. The room was too cute. I thought the 24 hr bar was weird at first, but came to love it cause we'd meet up with Aki and other bartenders every night after our adventures. We'd talk about the history of the city, got to know each others lives and have great conversations for hours. The entire staff was amazing and we miss them already. Also the location was fantastic; cute restaurants of every cuisine close, around the corner from Waterloo Station and for the lunch hours they had food and music record vendors around. We would definitely come back!

I was recommended this hotel by a friend a year ago. I have stayed for both business and pleasure around 8 times so far. 5 mins walk from Waterloo Station, this hotel is one of my favourites in London. Superb value. Super cool, excellent service. Just an amazing find. Enjoy.
L. S.
Just home from a 3 night stay at the Ruby Lucy, great location for use, behind Waterloo station. The staff are amazing, no quibbles when I asked if it was possible to change our room. Really comfy bed and so clean all over the hotel. Loved the refreshment bar on each floor, would definitely recommend this hotel. Thanks for a great stay

Excelente stay. The location is very close to subway and rail station, with many places to eat and enjoy in walking distance.
The staff was very friendly and suportive to help sorting any issue in the stay. Special thanks to Aki.
The bar in the ground floor also very nice.
Strongly recomend.

Excellent location (3 min walk from Waterloo) and very comfortable rooms. Big thanks for very helpful & friendly staff, especially Piotr & Kamil. Thanks guys for making my stay so enjoyable!
U.
Wonderful decor, live the circus theme, its very quirky and works really well, the swing set by the front door is a nice touch. The 24hr bar is amazing, the selection of cocktails are fantastic and the bar staff are even better. Loved the rooms, very clean, spacious with wonder spacious shower and toilet. The speakers are also a nice touch. A Favourite spot of to book super close to Waterloo Station and central London for very good price. Looking forward to going back for my 5th visit soon.
T. D.
Came for for a drink before dinner in the area. Cocktails were inventive and tasty. Location is great, super central for meeting up with friends from different parts of london. Decor is very cool for a hotel bar, and it’s a nice relaxed vibe. Lost a star as our drinks took a long time to come through despite the bar not looking that busy, which meant we were late for our restaurant booking at another place
R. B.
Compact but smartly designed clean rooms meets a punk rock/art aesthetic to make this hotel a winner. You can exchange a cleaning day for two free drinks at the bar which I wish more hotels would do. The bed was so comfortable and the street it's on has a variety great spots to eat. Can't go wrong here!
m. g.
What sets this awesome hotel apart is the staff - you can feel the positive vibes from the minute you walk in. Most notable was Gregg, the consummate and sublime late night mixologist, always looked forward to ending the night with a great cocktail made with care and a lively chat. And During the day, Piotr at check in and check out was great. Thanks for such a welcoming experience.
A. L.
I love it here! The bar and cocktails are amazing, as are the staff. And the rooms are great too, clean and bright and comfortable and quiet. Wish we'd stayed longer than one night, as the prices are brilliant for London too! Particular highlight is the 24hr bar for guests. This will probably be my go-to for London stays now.
J. R.
Just spent two night here. Great hotel. Staff lovely room spacious and great comfortable bed . They have coffee stations on each floor which is ideal. Bar area lovely and comfortable to sit and while away some down time. Would definitely return . Thanks the Stocks

Small hotel, fancy and great bar and lobby. Breakfast was ok, but not more.
Had booked a room labelled "loft" and got one with only little window and bathroom for disabled people: happy that there are such rooms but unusable sink, toilett without cover, shower with many obstacles...
Prices for drinks either at bar or from automatic bar are extraordinary expensive (4£ for a redbull).
Check-in an -out seems simple but is really unflexible and not user-friendly.
All in all I rate it a 2 to 3 star hotel (bit like ibis) but is certainly not a 4-star hotel.
G. L.
Perfect location, stylish furniture and friendly staff. Ruby is an amazing place to stay and we felt right at home, much thanks to Gregory, the attentive and welcoming barman who served us the best cocktails of 2021 (tip: order the Campfire Bourbon and the Autumn Margarita). Thank you, Gregory, you are amazing!
R. H.
This is my first time in London and so far its been amazing! They were able to check me in early as i came from Toronto Canada and came hours before check in. Then after sleeping all day due to the time difference, i came down for a drink and a bite and the bartender AKI was amazing! so welcoming , so gracious, so pleasing. The cheese platter was amazing and the drinks were made to perfection. I booked for 3 days because i was unsure if i would like the hotel but now i will be staying an additional 4 days. HIGHLY recommend this hotel!
R. C.
Nice hotel, just abit different!
Good clean room, excellent location, quite lively at night.
Staff were very helpful.
The only downside was the price of drinks...one small beer out of a can £6.19..laughable...so we drank elsewhere....vaults towers pub just over the road!
S. S.
This is a fantastic hotel! The minute you walk in you are met with quirky but fabulous design. The staff at reception/24hr bar were very helpful and welcoming. Our room overlooked the road, I was worried it would be noisey but it wasn't, didn't hear a thing! The room it self was perfect. Don't be put off by the glass shower in your room, there is a privacy curtain. Everything was immaculate. The communal areas for free tea/fruit tea/coffee are a great idea. The fabulous mismatched furniture in the downstairs area add to a fantastic ambiance. In our room my partner was super impressed with the Marshall amp and matching radio. Breakfast was very very good. Continental. Choice of organic products, artisan breads, bagels and muffins. Vegan options too. The overnight porridge was best I've tasted, a lovely option of dried fruits and nuts and seeds to add to porridge or yoghurts. Again the service was great. Location was brilliant. Easy to access the tube. We will definitely be returning.
I. M.
Really lovely hotel right next to Waterloo station and in the midst of the bustling lower marsh Rd markets. Friendly welcoming staff compensate somewhat for the expensive drink prices and cost of a nights stay. If you use booking.com check what you are booking as the pricing options said one thing but I ended with another...
a. v.
Pietro (Polish Peter, barman), Akai, Bar person area and Jessica for bedroom etc, gave Professional excellent, support and Customer Care. Nothing was too much and they went out of their way to make my stay wonderful. Great service, friendly staff, would definitely recommend and stay again! Thanks for everything! Kim

We were in a particular situation, as we needed to be close to St Thomas hospital to support our daughter. The staff has been extremely helpful, always very kind and caring. The room was very good, the playlist always smooth and the breakfast is amazing.
Thanks Alex, Peter, Stefan and all the team. We are recommending the hotel 200%.
M. C.
Hotel was in a convenient and nice place with great atmosphere.
Was unfortunately not made aware during booking and check in that there would be no house keeping service, meaning me and my wife had to request new towels and sheets etc and change everything ourselves after a long day out.
Can not fault the staff they were kind but our TV was not working and when I asked for it to be looked at, I was assured it would be fixed but however I doubt it was even checked on.
It was a good stay, but the lack of housekeeping and our broken TV has soured what could have been the perfect first holiday for me and my wife.
E. C.
Spent 3 days at Ruby Lucy’s and had the best experience. The staff was very friendly, I loved our room and the breakfast was sublime.
You can exchange three days of room cleaning for drinks from the bar.
We couldn’t be happier.

We stayed for a long weekend in London and firstly the location is brilliant, just a few minutes from Waterloo station and just 10 mins walk from Westminster Bridge. Price for location and room was really good value. Room was really bright and clean with lovely shower, bedding and decor. My only feedback would be that the rooms need a phone (maybe it had one and just didn't spot it?). I almost dropped a star after we lost some sleep due to some loud disruption from guests but the hotel did their best to rectify. Honestly the staff are what brought the review back to a 5 star, they are genuinely brilliant and friendly. The bar was also great, highly recommend having a few drinks, the Old Cuban cocktail was the best cocktail I've had in a long time. Definitely would stay again and would recommend to others.
J. H.
Had a great stay at Ruby Lucy. This was my first stay and it was perfect for my needs and a reasonable price for Central London. My room was great, clean and stylish and very quiet even though it was only on the 2nd floor and facing the street. The bed was very comfy and the pillows were great. I really liked the Galley on each floor, really useful and a nice touch. I had a great breakfast; continental style with good options and as much tea and coffee as you can drink. The staff were great and the location is less than 5mins from Waterloo station and an easy walk to the Southbank and then Covent Garden over the river
J.
We stayed at Ruby Lucy for a week, on arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady called Alex, as soon as she realised we just married she so kindly gave us 2 glasses of processo! The room we had was so amazing we both loved it! The staff were so friendly, One of their staff members Aki ( not sure how to spell) was so nice, he spent time talking to us and making us feel so welcome! Phenomenal staff! Fantastic room! Would and will definitely stay here again! Amazing 5*
T. C.
Great rooms everything you need, clean and tidy, 24 hour bar. Excellent location 5 mins from Waterloo station and tube. Lower Marsh has plenty to offer for food and drink, a bonus
A. T. C.
Excellent experience and service. I have visited Ruby for a Thursday night drink. I enjoyed the calm/relaxing atmosphere.
There was good music, dim lights and candles. Perfect atmosphere for a romantic date or a relaxing drink after a long day of work.
I was served by Pjoter who was very helpful and Liz , who helped me choose a drink. He made good small talk.
I will definitely come back, as the atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is very friendly.
I will definitely return , might try the candy floss drink Pjoter suggested, next time, as it looked nice 🙂
J. G.
Great hotel - Amazing staff! Lovely rooms - highly recommended when you visit London or for a cheeky weekend 😈
K. S.
This is the perfect style of hotel for me - incredible thought into the design and amenities of the room, great location, awesome staff. Really good value considering are in central London a few minutes walk from a major transport hub. One of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever encountered. Room and hotel were spotless. Lively street with great cafes and bars. Highly recommend Balance cafe and Coleman Coffee.
P. J.
Fantastic overnight stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely rooms. Characterful hotel in a really nice buzzy street round the corner from Waterloo. Has become our hotel of choice when visiting central London.
P. M.
We had a fantastic stay at Ruby. Great location at the heart of the city to discover London and very convenient next to Waterloo. Place is very comfy and crew is really nice!
N. B.
I have been staying here with my girlfriend and the hotel is excellent. Ther hospitality from Gregory, Tym, and carlota is beyond exceptional. I will definitely be visiting this hotel again soon! My first time in london and will definitely be back! Alex is also a great mixologist;
R. G.
Fantastic place to stay - quirky, clean, safe, friendly and accommodating staff - what more can you ask for. Perfect for our needs and the breakfast and cocktails were spot on! Would definitely come back. Highly recommended.
R. H.
Fantastic, trendy place to stay. Kids absolutely loved it. Staff could not do enough for us.
Great location nr Waterloo.
Will be back. Would recommend.
D. R.
What a great find we have stayed at lots of London hotels this is the only one we will use from now on its clean tidy and perfect location. The staff were very professional and excelled our expectations
Thank you
S. M.
Amazing hotel in the perfect location. Greg the bar man on Friday night was an absolute hero. Funny, patient with us, and provided exceptional service. Thanks Greg!
C. B.
First Impressions: very funky neighbourhood. Looks clean. Not quite what I expected from the website.
Check-in: Staff very polite, very C-19 safe, even to the point that your room key is dispensed to you.
Room: We had a balcony room. It was very small. I was disappointed when I opened the door for the first time The measurements are on the website but that does not prepare you for how small it is! Acrobatics were needed to get in and out of bed due to the angles. Bed very comfy though and shampoo etc provided in the in-room shower were excellent. Cramped getting in and out of shower and loo.
I had booked a balcony room - but as it was shared with another room - did not feel comfortable using it. That was not made clear on the website and was unusual. The chairs were so rusty I did not want to sit on them. Add to this that the balcony door to the room can be opened from the outside (by your neighbour - felt very unsafe), unless you ask reception to come lock and unlock it for you - and we just did not go out there at all. I wish I had booked a loft room for a similar price as this felt like I was cheated a little.
Other room oddness - the lights flashed for maybe 20 minutes, on day 1 and 3. Then randomly stopped!?
When reported to staff, they were very polite and did what they could to help.
Breakfast: excellent! Bottomless coffee, meats, cheeses, toast, granola, yoghurt. Don’t be worried by the buffet, they will come offer you more options at your table.
The Staff: the jewel in the crown that stopped this being a 3/5 review. Ever pleasant, nothing was too much trouble! Random requests accommodated.
Room: 3/5
Food: 5/5
Staff: 5/5
Overall: 4/5 Recommend the hotel but not this type of room.
T. K.
Good location, great staff, really nice and most important CLEAN rooms!value for money in London

Visiting family in London, Excelente service by gregg, carlota, and Tim! Room is very nice. Will definitely recommend to friends and come again soon!
S. G.
Only stopped for one drink, but funky decor and crazy cocktails, hard to give a score as had a few before we got there!
S. H.
Highly highly recommend Ruby Lucy! We had a terrible experience at the hotel across the way and came to Ruby and was offered an upgrade and greeted by friendly staff. Also we registered as a member and got discounted room. The rooms, lobby and bar were decorated with style and very clean. We will be back!
S. C.
Very rarely even write reviews because most hotels just come and go but this place is amazing! The rooms are lovely and the staff are too. Great location and good value for money. Thank you for a pleasant stay.
A. C.
Great staff, brilliantly situated. Fantastic room and good value
J. M.
Lovely staff and very helpful looking forward to coming back again. Lovely rooms and decor and very clean and also very nice shampoo and hand soap and a very warm welcome and went above and beyond to make sure are stay was good
B. J.
Gorgeous hotel! Efficient check in with an iPad and a receptionist just in case. I think we got an upgraded room, our original booking was for a budget room but it looked much larger and didn’t look like the budget room pictures. The room itself was very clean which was great in the current climate. The rain shower was powerful and plenty of room. The bed was so comfy as well as huge. There were 2 amps in the room that you could connect your phone to play music. Complimentary tea and coffee on each floor. Overall an amazing peaceful stay, would definitely come back again.
P. G.
Really nice and well designed hotel in central London, but to be all fair, there is no coffe or tea on the first floor as advertised, so o had to go downstairs to ask, the tissues box almost empty (1tissue left) shower gel was almost finished and there is no phone in the room or I didn’t receive any information to how to contact the reception or in regards wifi.
Those are very basic info to the hotel
S. C.
Very nice lovely and friendly staff. Clean large bedrooms with comfortable beds. 👌
M. P.
Great hotel. Lovely staff, good breakfast, nice design and easy check in and out.
A. F.
The hotel has its own unique modern style and it has amazing vibes with its decoration and furniture. I really enjoyed staying here and coming back to a clean and comfortable room after a day long trip. The personal there is also really kind and nice and they always ask if they can do something for the guests. The location is also really good. It only takes 5 to 10 minutes to Walk to the London eye and see the Big Ben. Definitely recommendable:)
C. H.
Dropped in to have drinks at the bar only. The lounge was very calm and cozy, drinks tasty, and the bar staff Alex was truly 5 stars. Will return!
C. R.
Lovely rooms with speakers, very clean. Great arrangements. Amazing staff + service and bar area
T. I.
Amazing stay as always, polite and funny staff, great 24 hours bar & spacious clean rooms! Kamil at the reception was very helpful and nice :)
A. P.
AMAZING hotel. A must book. Quirky, modern, staff are very friendly, great location. Awesome bar downstairs.
N. H.
Fab hotel . Lovely staff and great rooms . Loved the bar and really comfy bed ! Great location too !Will definitely be staying again when we are next in London .
L. T.
Super nice and clean hotel with great atmosphere in best location. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was healthy, fresh and awesome, the room was small but offered everything we needed. There is a bar downstairs which is very well visited. We also enjoyed some drinks there and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. However, you should be aware that due to the bar it might not be super quiet in the evening (our room was on 1st level).
A. N.
This was a gem of a place in a location that was honestly a wonderful experience. Ruby hotel staff go above and beyond to make your stay special. I was in need of a solo break and these guys made me feel part of a family. A big thank you to Aug and Piotr I will be back!!
W. P.
Lovely hotel a great experience staff couldn't do enough will definitely stay again thank you very much.
D. G.
Fantastic local hotel. Very reasonably priced rooms, excellent bar and lounge area with lovely food and tasty drinks. Room was fantastic, lean luxury indeed! The bed was incredibly comfortable, shower excellent, wonderful views from outdoor balcony / terrace, fun tasteful decor, all the amenities needed, and who doesn’t want a Marshall amp in their hotel room!!! Would highly recommend
T. C.
Lovely welcome Lovely quirky room, expensive for drink. Only moan is no kettle in room & you have to go down the corridor to get a hot drink.
E. K.
My experience at Ruby Lucy was wonderful. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Ruby Lucy London is located in Waterloo which makes it easy to travel to the centre by tube, by bus and by cab. I booked to stay in the superior room and it was spotless with a lovely glass walled shower which looked into the room. I would 100% stay there again. Thank you to the staff for making my experience so enjoyable. 😊

Right im the heart of London City.
A Hotel reception with a 24/7 bar at the reception desk👍:
Train stations: Waterloo and Baker street Station. few mins to London eye and other famous locations in london.
Located at a quiet street with a street martket till 2pm and various eatries and Bars. Very clean room and a good price comparing it to the location.
O. D.
I didn't try the hotel, but I really like their cafe/restaurant. It is a lovely place to work and have a light lunch - their vegan Bruschetta is delicious and they have lovely original tea blends!
D. H.
The hotel is excellent located next to Waterloo station at lower marsh, a lot of restaurants and bars around. The millennium garden is also just a 2 min walk. Top!
Hotel, as all Ruby Hotels, has a great and unique style! Everywhere you look, you will find something cool and start to feel comfortable immediately. The rooms is just gorgeous, and for London extremely huge and comfortable! Staff also very kind and friendly!
All in all a great location to enjoy your London stay, will definitely coming back!
C. F.
I arrived for 2 days and landed stay a lot long due to Business. The front desk and staff where the best. I have to say I never had that kind of professionalism for a very well priced ($$) hotel. Vicky and her partner in crime where outstanding, comforting and very attentive.
C. E.
Stayed for business -4 nights. Friendly staff, beautiful large rooms and spotless. So cool you can borrow electric guitars from the reception to hook up to your Marshall amp in the bedroom. Also, the chamber maid accidentally broke my expensive face wash and they replaced it along with a token for two free drinks at their bar! Great customer service and I will be visiting again.
K.
We stayed here for a few days. Being that this was our first trip to the UK/London, I will give the place the benefit of the doubt. However, for those in a similar position, making a first trip, I will say this: 1. The rooms are tiny. 2. There is no iron or board in room. 3. Shower, although beautiful and slick, it is covered in glass and exposed (very sexy I guess), but not for everyone. 4. Room service will knock on your door at 8 am/local time. 5. Breakfast is typical of London, so don't expect bacon and eggs (more like yogurt and cheeses. 6. There is no chair in the room or drawers to sort your clothes. Overall, it is not bad for the price. The staff is great and the place is very pretty and funky. Oh, and I love the bottomless barista coffees! A solid 2.5 out of 5.

Really nice hotel. Clean, well managed and friendly staff. Love the quirky interior of the bar and cafe too. Biggest bonus was how comfy the beds are which is always good when away from home.

We had an overnight stay for my other halfs birthday. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is very quirky...and has a very welcoming feel to it. We would definitely stay again. Thank you to Ang and his team.

What makes this hotel is the staff. They’re truly unique and amazing, always going above and beyond! Will miss this place! Bonus points: great cocktails and location are pretty dope too. :)

Allergy sufferers may pay attention to this hotel's rooms without carpets and stupid amount of curtains. The rooms have wooden floors and really clean. Hard to find in London in this price category. The staff also very friendly and helpful. (Thanks to Victoria for helping me rapidly with my picky room change because of frosted windows).
S. H.
Great location in one of my favourite areas in London! Staff was great and the beds were amazingly comfortable ✨
F. M.
Gorgeous hotel, great vibe and really spacious and stylish rooms. Excellent for the price and within 5 minutes walk of Waterloo so perfectly located.
L. M.
Loved my time here! Piotr and Aug were absolute legends and took care of us while we were in town. Will absolutely be back. Location price and service cannot be beat.
S. B.
Didn't stay here just visited for the bar area. It has a great interior design, cool asthetic, laid back vibe the staff are friendly and the service is good.
L. H.
Such a great hotel, perfect location and clean rooms!

This is a quirky new hotel in a very convenient place near to Waterloo station.
The rooms have Marshall amplifiers in them and there are guitars in the bar that you can borrow if you fancy a little jam.
Drinks in the bar are good but note that the hotel is cashless so make sure you have means of electronic payment on you.
C. D.
This is EXACTLY how a city centre hotel should be run. Great location, unbelievable price, phenomenal staff, especially the Irish girl who checked us in. Wouldn't hesitate in booking again.
V. W.
Loved the light bright room, the bed was the comfiest I’ve stayed in for ages and the bathroom products were great. Just missed being able to make a coffee, although there was a tea station on my floor. Great stay.

Wow wow wow the jewel in the hotel scene! My treat once a month is one night in London on my own in a plush hotel room at nock down price on trivago been doing this for thirty years!! Have stayed in some beautiful rooms and loved all of them! Then this one popped up hmmmm not my thing but jus thought oh well risk a change see what happens (lambeth really) but wow what a surprise absolutely fantastic! Funky friendly immaculately clean supersize bed and not a bath but a rain room how did I spend 45min in there? This place really did it for me way better than the stuffy up town hotels! Top notch but who or what is Ruby lucy?!!!!
E. N.
Fantastic hotel. Spotless, quiet, great location. Boutique new hotel.
L. C. (. P.
The bar is aesthetically appealing. Drinks are good too
E. M.
Very nice place with a wonderful staff and a very good location... I'll definitely come back! :)
D. P.
Lovely people, lovely decor, great location and spotlessly clean. The toiletries are the best I've ever used in a hotel. There, I'm a 50-year old man and I like toiletries and this hotel has the best - I said it.
H. P.
Staff were so nice, we didn’t check in till 1am and they were so nice making sure we had everything we needed even at that time! Room was super clean and bed was so comfy! Love how the shower is in the room and not separate makes it very unique !
K. V.
A fantastic experience! We loved everything from the rooms, to the staff, to the breakfast and vibe! Fantastic!
S. S.
Great cocktails and great service from Greg, couldn't recommend this place more highly
S. B.
Im very impressed with my stay at the Ruby Lucy hotel. The rooms are so comfortable with the most amazing bed ever! I particularly enjoyed the breakfast and all the staff are so lovely there especially Aki, he was very accommodating. I will most Def stay here again. A beautiful unique hotel in London xx
K. L.
Very neat and clean, however between the loud bathroom fan that wouldn’t turn off and the cleaners hoovering the corridor at 8am it was very noisy.
J. B.
An excellent costumer service was experienced from all staff. Thank you. Highly recommended hotel and bar with a unique decorative motif too.
M. P.
This is a really cool hotel with a great vibe. The drink options available at the bar are very diverse with many top brands. The continental breakfast is enough especially with the included coffee. The staff are very friendly and more than happy to help you.
N.
Incredible staff! Alex and the guy with the glasses behind the bar are the reason I keep coming back!
Until next time!

Very Nice Hotel. Near main london transport nodes.
C. S.
Nice bar, very cosy with great cocktail choice

We Couldn’t fault the hotel! The staff were all very polite and helpful. Will definitely return here on our next visit to London.
C. H.
Me and the mrs are currently staying in this hotel, the rooms are amazing and so modern! The staff are so nice and friendly and very helpful, the information in the room about the hotel is spot on, it lets you know where everything is and how it all functions, the bed is so comfy, almost like sleeping on clouds and it’s not far from all the great touristy spots around London, quick Uber and your wherever you want to be, honestly this hotel deserves more than 5*, will 100% be back again in the near future, thanks a lot ruby Lucy!
J. J.
Lovely clean room with good facilities. Great location. Would have liked hot drink making facilities in the room but it wasnt much of a hassle to walk down the corridor to make a cup of tea. Would have liked the option of coffee though.
A. P.
We were due to stay here next week and had bought the room via Booking.com as non-refundable. We had to cancel the stay as our theatre visit was cancelled. Huge thanks to the hotel and Booking.com for arranging a full refund even though original terms didn't entitle us to this. Really very much appreciated.
H. K.
Aki is amazing, lovely, kind , thoughtful, great service, very accomidating and friendly ❤️
L. B.
Great value for money. The hotel is clean and quite modern but because of tle lack of amenities, like a desk or shelves for clothes, it's more like a 2 night b&b rather than an option to stay for a week.
R. O.
Gregory is the best staff member there! Definitely made the experience much better!
P. K.
Beautiful and clen hotel. Great location and absolutely amazing staff.
I will definitely stay again.
M. H.
Had a fab stay for a night out on the embankment . Everything a short walk away Really friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and a quirky room. Bed really comfortable . Loved it
G. T.
Boutique hotel in great location. Rather quirky in some aspects but that is one of the main appeals - room clean and staff helpful and friendly
M. v. H.
Staying at Ruby Lucy was an exsperience. The decor is so on point. Love the carnival theme. The design and layout of the room is clever. It feels fresh
R. H.
Stayed here a few times and the service is always impeccable. Staff are always helpful and happy. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Strongly suggesting trying balcony rooms if for a short visit, really a good view of the city 🌃 lights at nights towards Westminster on the third and fourth floor if the weather is fine :D
D. C.
Stay here 2nights first class staff were all very friendly and went out there way to make our stay very good

Very nice hotel with clean and modern rooms with a high quality music box inside to play music from your phone. Great service and nice and warm lobby as well.

(Translated) Awesome! The self check-in is ideal. We arrived in the middle of the night and were warmly welcomed by Greg. We were very hungry from the trip and Greg arranged a delicious pizza for us! What a hospitality! The rooms are very neat and clean. Bed is good. No ambient noise, so a good night's sleep. The location of the hotel is also central. Definitely recommend.

Geweldig!

(Translated) Very cool hotel, especially the decor. Very cool atmosphere and really great room. Unfortunately, the room is almost too small for a large suitcase if you want to leave it open. Otherwise really cool shower and also the usable speakers. There was also a large selection at breakfast with alcoholic beverages in the evening. Unfortunately, it is also a little more expensive. Location is also very central, great! Gladly again.

Gerne wieder.

(Translated) Brand new design hotel in a quiet side street, but only a 5-minute walk from Waterloo Station and therefore very well connected to the city.
There is a small bar on the ground floor, in which the reception is also integrated. Breakfast seems ok, I haven't tried it myself. Nice, there is a free tea station in the hallway where you can take tea around the clock.
The room is very large and modern for London standards. The bed and bed linen are wonderfully comfortable, you sleep really well here. There is also a very comfortable leather armchair for reading.
It is a shame, although the room is large, there is almost no storage space for clothes. So you have to live out of your suitcase. It is incomprehensible why you don't put a wardrobe in such a large room.
The bathroom was also a good size, but the water jet from the sink was too weak and the water has a strange smell, at least not a neutral smell. So soap, shower gel and body lotion were of good quality. The sink itself could have been a bit bigger.
All in all a very good hotel, one point deduction because of the lack of a wardrobe.
