I had an incredible experience staying at Sea Containers from start to finish. Upon booking a room, I received an email from Stefanie who is the Guest Engagement Coordinator. She asked if there was anything we needed for our stay. I responded to say that I was going to propose to my girlfriend before arriving and asked if they could light some candles in the room or do something special. Stefanie and the team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was absolutely amazing. They had champagne ready for us on arrival, waiting in our room (which was upgraded!), more sent up to us again the next day with hand-written notes! The team went above and beyond to ensure we had an incredibly special weekend. It was hands down the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in but more importantly was the best hotel experience that we've ever had. Stefanie checked in with us over the weekend to ensure that everything went to plan and to see if we needed anything else. I really was blown away by the effort that Stephanie and the team went to and I cannot wait for us to come back and stay again!

Every aspect of this hotel is faultless. Despite the modern grandeur of the place, the staff are sooo friendly and genuine…not like some of the stuffy austere attitudes that you get in other premium London hotels. The rooms are all impeccable and because of the build quality of the hotel they are silent…couldn’t hear another thing once in the room. Can’t recommend highly enough

This is a beautiful hotel on the water with spacious rooms. There are several great restaurants nearby and a great bar in the restaurant. Only issue is that one of the nights I was there, I was abruptly woken up to men fighting outside my bedroom at 2am. It took quite some time for the fight to be broken up.

We went to lobby and the security guard was helpful to give us lots of information and invited us to sit down in the lounge. We ordered a bottle of rose but the waiter just left it on the table and take the card payment and service charge without opening the bottle. Not sure it's the usual practice but i do expect to be served better. One that hand, in the Bar Lyaness, they service was the best in world. Thanks to Lucy, the most charming girl there.

Superb service in the Lyaness Bar to help us celebrate our daughters 21st. We looked at a number of venues and so pleased we chose Sea Containers and the 16 guests loved it. Food and drinks were excellent and the service was very attentive with a great vibe in the bar with the DJ.
V. B.
Large beautiful rooms with comfy beds and luxurious bathrooms. The service is great from hotel staff, spa and the restaurant. Great location with lovely views of the river. Will be coming back again!
A. F.
The afternoon tea here was outstanding. It's similarly priced to other less luxurious places and definitely worth every penny. Great atmosphere, and wonderful service. Can't wait to go back

Stayed for three nights. Rooms nicely designed. Staff were all incredible, super friendly, especially room service team. Only ate here twice, one room service and one breakfast. Room service was great, delivered quickly and tasted great. Breakfast was ok! I do think there are better hotels for the price in London.
M. B.
Wonderful hotel, buzzy vibe, amazing view across the river from our room. Had a fun night across both bars until they closed late. Would highly recommend

I stayed here for 3 nights and I have to say I was extremely happy with experience! The the room had a breathtakingly amazing view of London and the amount of space in the rooms itself were generous, we actually had 2 balconies! The bathtub was lovely too. On the first night we went to Lyaness which was 10/10 it was so fun and the atmosphere was great, on the second night we visited 12th knot, which was located on the 12th floor, the vibe was lovely and the man who tended to us was super friendly and welcoming. I would definitely go back and stay again soon. If you’re thinking of going away for a weekend or just want to unwind I definitely recommend Sea containers

The hotel its self is very grand to look at!
The style, the decor. The features are all class!. Very eye pleasing....
The service from staff is smiley and helpful. Kind people.
As for the bed! Absolute 10/10
We actually looked at the make and are ordering one.
Best sleep ever!
Bathroom is modern and comes with premium shampoo etc.
Great location!
Parking is quite bad. And at £45 charge. Not the cheapest.
The bar on the 12th floor was ok. The decor and the lighting and the views are amazing. But the seating isn't great. Especially the tables in the middle, you are sat on tiny stools.
We can't comment on the restaurant as we ate in the OXO

Very friendly welcome from Reception staff. We upgraded to our room and although very nice, I have def had better London hotel rooms. Lacking something! The hotel itself is beautiful and the bar area is amazing. Staff there are fun, friendly and really attentive. I would 100% return, but probably just for the bar and vibe, not sure the rooms were worth the cost.

My partner booked this as a surprise for my 50th birthday. We have stayed in various high-quality hotels across the globe. Sea Containers offered a very pleasant stay with high-quality features and friendly, attentive staff (especially Nelson). All the staff here from concierge, porters, bar-staff and management were all perfect, polite and willing to go the extra-mile. I couldn't have asked for more. My partner had some mix-up with the booking, but they rectified this with an upgraded room for our two-night stay.
What defined the quality of the stay here was how they handled the one complaint we had where our room hadn't been cleared/cleaned when we returned in the afternoon on our second day. Instead of making excuses, they apologized and went out-of-their-way to accommodate us in the most professional manner (this really touched me).
Location is fantastic (near Blackfriars's Bridge and OXO Tower). The room clean and modern looking with great features next to the Thames. The décor as the name implies presents a seafaring theme which is quite funky and unique.
I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel, and would recommend to anyone looking for a quality stay in central London. Will definitely return here. They also boast some impressive bars!
G. P.
Refined, relaxed, quiet, amazing food, with high end rooms with great views. Highly recommended. Decor is cool and interesting, the bar has a great vibe and the restaurant food is really delicious. You'll pay for it of course, but it's worth it.
S. E.
Took my wife to this venue, all the staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The headchef came out to spoke to us, he was hilarious!
Great food, great location, great people.

The word ‘excellent’ is branded around far to often.. but this Hotel genuinely is excellent in every way! This is my second time staying here, and I was blown away by the customer service! So attentive, so helpful, warm and friendly! I have been lucky enough to stay at some of the best hotels in the world, but this place sits right up there amongst the very best. Keep up the good work, see you again soon.

A mixed bag.....
The hotel itself is in a lovely location and the rooms are nice. We had a slight problem with our room (a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom) but this was very quickly rectified. Staff were v apologetic and insisted on moving us to another room. The new room was fine, spacious and very clean, so a thumbs up on that front.
The restaurant however really lets the hotel down. Service is slow, half hearted not what it should be for the prices. (They forgot one of our meals entirely). This is the second time we've been to this restaurant and been underwhelmed by the service, so I would definitely never go back.
I would recommend the hotel, but would not advise going to the restaurant. There are much better places close by that will offer better service at better prices.

Wanted to stay here for a while but because of lockdown we couldn't. Perfect location, lovely room and a good size for London. The bed was so comfy and slept really well. Lovely atmosphere in the bar and great service. Ordered room service for breakfast and it was great. Will definitely be staying here again. The view from our room of the river was fantastic.
A.
Stayed here twice now. Great rooms with nice views. Amazing staff and a nice breakfast too 😋
A. R.
The room was good, but unfortunately the bathroom didn't smell very nice. Maybe I was a little unlucky. I'm sure they would have sorted if I'd have complained. Great location though.
A.
Amazing hotel, lovely rooms, perfect location. Breakfast here was very good and the staff treated us very well.

Special birthday so overnight in London. The hotel staff fell over backwards for us and the kids. Right on the happening end of Southbank, near the Eye an next door to the OXO Tower and right by Blackfriars Station, Borough Market, the Shard - it’s in a great location. Nearby overnight parking at Apcos Cornwall St was reasonable at £42 for 24 hours if booked in advance. The views on the River are are great and St Paul’s at night is special. Pricey and bar on 12th Floor was not kid friendly and while everyone was lovely we felt under dressed in a place not equipped for relaxing.

Review of the bar : we came out from California for a beer crawl and one of our stops ended up being the bar here - it was great! we had mostly cocktails! bar was really nice, facilities were excellent. It's literally right next to the river Thames. Next time I am in the UK with my wife we'll stop by an evening for dinner... menu looked very good.
R. M.
Great quality hotel, very nice setting, overlooking the Thames. Excellent stylish hotel, with some great design features. Food was excellent & rooms are nice, spacious, modern & luxurious
C. S.
Nice room. Did not have the room reserved when we checked in, so there was only a handicap room, which was fine. The downstairs theater was chilly (we went in October). Fabulous location- central to everything. Amenities are great.
l. w.
Beautiful hotel, great amenities staff very friendly would recommend fully. Location and view from 12th Knot is amazing. Will definitely add to my ho to place when in city.
P. A.
Breakfast was amazing! Lovely ambience. Although, would prefer to have stuff like complimentary water without having to request. The staffs are polite and would help resolve issues you bring to their attention. Had a lovely stay.
A. V.
Hotel in a great location with friendly staff. Rooms are modern and comfortable but they could be anywhere. When we stayed there were the basics in the room, tea/coffee tray, toiletries, fluffy towels. We experienced issues connecting with the WiFi but it could be our phones. Wonderful breakfast, but drinks expensive and tray charge added so order all drinks in one hit. 12th Knot bar pretty pretentious but lots of people buying into all of that making a good atmosphere with views.
A. “.
Nice atmosphere with friendly staffs. Food is beautifully presented. Desserts are lovely too. But service can be a bit slow sometimes. It took us a while to get the coffee before we finished our meal.
A. A.
Lovely hotel with comfy beds modern stylish with attention to detail in the design.
The only snag was the length of hold times to get through to reception and room service .I waited 15mins on hold. However the food when it arrived was fabulous light and tasty.
F. M.
Second year I was treated to a stay here for my birthday. The rooms are very well proportioned, especially the bathrooms which are spacious. The staff are lovely and their service is excellent. Brilliant location on the southbank with great views up and down the Thames.
N. H.
Amazing stay, excellent location. Rodrigo was polite, helpful and very kind. Will definitely go back.
p. a.
The reception was warm, the service was amazing and I'd definitely go again! Love the styling of the bathrooms. The sheets are crisp, the lighting is good, and the little perks are great.
D. J.
Staff were friendly , courteous and professional. Hotel spotlessly clean throughout and room spacious and well designed. Breakfast in the dining room was a lovely experience. Highly recommend and would love to return .
C. V.
AMAZING!!! AMAZING 👏 We loved it here..location, service, room, food..everything was so good. Nothing is to much trouble and the in room WhatsApp service was my favourite!!! This hotel is the best we have stayed in London and we will definitely be back. Our friends have already booked for next week!! Worth booking in to 12th Knot and the restaurant. The roof top terrace and bar was an added bonus, we were there when there was D.J. it was fab. Very trendy, contemporary Hotel. Just what we like!! Well done SC team. 👏
B.
The hotel wasn’t bad. But to call yourself 5 star, one would expect a 5 star experience. Had to call about stuff we had pre ordered to the room when we got there. Travelled for hours and had to still wait for our drinks. The bill was crazy confusing and when you check in you leave a deposit of £100 a night in advance. I spent £660 and didn’t even have a drink of water in my room. I would visit the restaurant and the bars. The staff were 10/10 and I cannot fault them. I just feel like for what we paid we could have got more somewhere else. We went for our anniversary and not at any point did anyone even say happy anniversary or congratulate us. Which for 5 star was strange! Kind of felt like a seat filler than a 5 star guest. I wouldn’t stay again, Sorry.
B. B.
Situation was excellent, room facing the Thames was excellent and everything else was amazing too. Check out the rooftop bar!
N. D.
Excellent location! All the staff were friendly and the food was awesome 👌 I have celebrated my birthday dinner last night and it was amazing🎂
L. L.
Absolutely brilliant and beautiful hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming and the room was fantastic. Would recommend to anyone looking for a hotel with great ambience, clean rooms and a good location
L. P.
What an amazing experience. The staff is lovely and have great recommendations for folks touring from out of town the team at Lyaness is superb and took amazing care of me. Will definitely be back!
F.
Wonderful visit from start to finish - attentive staff, great selection of food and drink, decor and atmosphere were just right. Did order a starter that never came and then was charged for it, which was disappointing (staff rectified it right away on the bill) but minor blip on a fab visit. Will defo come again! Thank you
S. P.
Fabulous Hotel with fabulous staff, they all made our stay amazing, thank you Joe and team 😃
A. C.
The staff were really fantastic. I really felt they cared about us enjoying our stay.
D. B.
It's ok. The bars and restaurants are very good, design amazing, rooms are ok...
T. S.
This place is a must to visit. Food was superb. Atmosphere was great and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Visit cocktail bar next door first and make a great evening of it .
a. T.
Very nice suite on the river with a balcony. On arrival to such a nice suite was disappointed to see paper cups to use for coffee or tea with milk in a small sachet as was coffee and a mini fridge that had no complimentary water or anything in. With a higher end room would be a nice touch to have proper cups as glasses are provided in the bathroom and a spoon instead of cheap wooden stirrers.. shower was exceptional as was having two toilets.. bed only average & duvet disappointing again for an above average room expect better.. food & drink ordered to room as restaurant was closed was overpriced for what was received..would expect from a hotel of this quality better from the kitchen even if it is to the room. Small touches would make the experience better but still had a nice stay because of the balcony and view
S. M.
Amazing hotel, perfectly located in the heart of London and so well run! Credit to the manager and staff, they made our stay so special.
P. S.
Absolutely amazing service! Great room, the room service breakfast was a bit cold but overall great experience.
G.
First of all the staff are excellent and facilities are good. We had a superior room on the 15th floor with a good view over the thames. The room itself is clean, spacious and modern. One reason for the poor score is that we paid extra for a breakfast and I feel it was not good enough for the price, we received a poor attempt at a continental breakfast. The other reason is that we booked this hotel to celebrate a special occasion and the hotel bar looked like an amazing place to do that. However when we got there we found out that the bar was closed and had been for some time. It is on their website but it is very small comment. I only found this information out after spending time going over their website before writing this review. I personally believe that this should be made clearer when booking your stay. Other than these issues it is a great hotel in a good location.
b. f.
Amazing place to stay! Great views from the 12th floor. Comfortable spacious room, great bathroom. Very clean. The bar is great. Breakfast buffet in morning was lovely. All the staff were great. Would love to come again soon!
L. S.
Such a friendly and laid back atmosphere. Everything was first class, including the food. Fish tacos are amazing.
c. m.
We’ve stayed here a few times as it’s so good. It’s got everything you need all under 1 roof. It’s a big hotel!
Perfect location next to the River Thames. The nicest room was river view with balcony.
The breakfast & cocktails & dinner was all superb. The staff are all so friendly & attentive. Can’t wait to go back!!
B. A.
Went for ITV Palooza event. Amazing hotel design, amazing food, amazing service. A*** Everything the top hotels should be.
F.
One of the most spectacular hotel in London, you must pay an extra for the room with Thames view. Tom Dixon furniture and one of the best cocktail bar in the world at the ground are a plus. Staff was superb, the atmosphere was friendly and young. Just disappointed about the breakfast.
D. B.
Perfect for a lunch/dinner on the river side on a sunny day: tables inside and outdoors with the a on the river Thames. Stylish contemporary interior design. Accessibility for wheelchair users: indoor tables and terrace, lavatory.
Variety of seafood/fish menu. Two course lunch for two people with wine is in the range of £100-£160
Friendly staff could prepare a featured desert for a special occasion.
R. B.
We celebrated our anniversary at the Hotel and the service from the staff was spot on. I arranged a few things with Stefanie prior to my arrival and Stefanie helped arrange the room with patio and nothing was ever too much trouble. Stefanie was prompt at replying to emails and I cannot praise her enough as she made our stay memorable for a lifetime. We had some superb drinks at 12th Knot which is thoroughly recommended too and Max has the place really well run. There is a guy called Nelson at the front desk that goes above and beyond the call of duty. The breakfast was also excellent! Thank you Stefanie once again for making our day a once in a lifetime occasion.
A. W.
Amazing hotel, great rooms, fantastic service and not ridiculously overpriced
L. C.
Went for drinks here yesterday. Great service & ambience. Would definitely recommend.
M. R.
Lovely venue, amazing location and views. Staff were very quick to serve and helpful. However portion sizes were a bit small for the price, and they served us mouldy (actually furry!) Grapes with our cheese platter.
S.
Stayed over here for 2 nights 13/14th August for our 30th wedding anniversary in a superior room, and were welcomed with a glass of champagne. Excellent view of London and St Paul's Cathedral. Very comfortable room furnished to a high standard. I have seen some of the other reviews where people have stated that the decor is outdated, however they are mistaken as the design of this hotel is based on old ocean liners, but at the same time with a modern touch. Staff at the 12th Knot rooftop bar are very welcoming, especially if you are a guest at the hotel. We booked a table on the balcony and were very well looked after, and had fantastic views of London and the river Thames. All in all a very good experience in a hotel situated in an excellent location, from which you can walk to Covent Garden and surrounding areas in about 20 minutes.
I. Q.
Great atmosphere, exceptional service.
Food, average. The sharing platters were a let down for the price you pay. We ordered the £90 one and after we finished, we were so hungry that we decided to go to a McDonalds instead.
Come here for drinks, stay for the epic service. But don't order the food.
m. s.
Fabulous 5 star hotel and overall service!
Stayed here one week ago for 3 nights.
I have been to a lot of five star hotels in London and have to say this has been the best one so far on all levels.
3 nights stay, had to move once but well worth it.
First class service on an exceptional level. Great attention to detail from staff. Excellent customer service when situations arise Management quickly resolved it.
Room is very clean that I walked round and did not find anything that I needed to ask to be cleaned again.
The decor is fresh and stylish.
River view balcony suite absolutely fabulous. Perfect room for a couple/ or time on your own, wanting to have a separate living area and relax and take in the river view on the patio.
I am not a breakfast person however, the breakfast delivered to our room, was very good quality, nothing needing to be returned or replaced, which is rare. They even had sourdough bread which I could order.
Restaurant was food was good quality.
The 12th Knot bar- Great atmosphere as usual be mindful of the price of the drinks, especially if you like cocktails. Beautiful views in the evening overlooking the river staff very attentive and friendly.
The Lyaness bar is also nice if you want something low-key in the evening.
Suggestion- The website really needs to have more than just a couple pictures of the rooms, they do not do the rooms justice, increasing this to at least five or six, with a video will really make a difference.
Special thanks to the following staff for the excellent professionalism, smiling and laughing with us and most importantly an abundance of genuine kindness each time I needed there help.
Sergej, the night manager. Resolved an issue very swiftly, he was so kind and professional and followed through with any request made.
Also excellent front desk service from, Debora, Michael, Andre and Steven.
All needs meet to a high standard just how I like it.
I look forward to seeing them again next week and next month, all booked already. 😀
A. I.
Amazing hotel. The stuff is super nice and helpful. The view from the room is amazing.

We love this place. Watched the rugby in the afternoon, then stayed and had a beautiful evening meal.
Staff were very friendly and the service was very good.
We will definitely return soon.
E.
stayed a couple of times and it has been amazing each time, couldn't recommend highly enough
C. M.
Beautiful hotel. Lovely clean room. Good food.
T. A. H.
Great location, lovely restaurant. All very expensive though and ‘5 star’ it may claim to be, but if you’ve stayed in a proper 5 star hotel before you will know it’s the little things that make the difference. Sea Containers misses that mark with customer service and room provision by quite a margin. Also if a room is designated ‘city view’ phone the hotel in advance and confirm what you will be able to see from your room. Our ‘city view’ consisted largely of the back of the hotel.
N. G.
Great staff, lovely rooms, 10 min walk from Waterloo station, Boris bike racks across from entrance. Sweeping river views from the bar with a great cocktail selection.
R. B.
My wife and I first stayed at the sea containers a few years back (2019) to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had an amazing time, the staff are really accommodating and welcoming. The food was exquisite, and the rooms were really spacious, clean and comfortable. We stayed in the 5th floor which are the larger rooms and the views from our balcony were fantastic.
This year (2021) were brought our kids along with us to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary! And again we weren’t disappointed. COVID aside we’re ended up doing more room service where you sacrifice convenience for price, but that’s fair play.
We would definitely recommend it’s a great place to be in the heart of London and overlooking the history of the Thames, St. Paul’s and the London landmarks.
D. W.
Love this hotel and have always been well looked after the staff.
T. C.
Absolutely loved it hotel super, staff amazing ..well worth a visit
S. T.
One of London's best place, hotel, restaurant and a beautiful cocktail lounge. Live dj playing cool tunes. Worth dressing up to blend with the amazing decor
J. M.
We visited the restaurant for a family celebration. Nice atmosphere and good service but quite overpriced
P. T.
We went to Lyaness bar on reopening night, plenty of well-trained staff, not rusty at all. The cocktails (although limited selection due to covid) were top notch as usual, the vibe was buzzing, and we felt totally safe. We also had room service. The room service menu was identical to the restaurant (selection and price). I feel like they previously had a separate menu for room service. Anyways, we've stayed here 2 times previously, and this time the room service food was much better. Breakfast buffets are gone for now (sigh). You can pick tea/coffee, a juice, an additional beverage, and 1 item from their breakfast menu. Yes the food is slightly overpriced, but you're paying for immaculate settings, great service, and that river view. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay as indulgent as usual (despite covid).
S. P.
Perfectly manicured in a perfect location, but ultimately underwhelming. The rooms are very plain and lack the "extras" of other similar-grade hotels locally (no coffee machine for example, and had to request robes). The hotel bar & restaurant are public on the river-side and completely over-run so there are none of the calm spaces you would expect at this price of hotel, and the staff tend to assume everyone is general public rather than guest. The bar was so busy with tourists we couldn't even get a reservation.
R. B.
Amazing hotel, stayed in the river view balcony suite. I have to say the view was amazing. The staff were amazing anything I needed they sorted. Would highly recommend staying here if your in London.
M. D. N.
Loved it! Beautiful hotel, lovely staff. The roof top bar was amazing! My favourite hotel in London.
A. H. B.
Had a fantastic stay here recently. Loved the location, the room, the dining options and views! Will never stay anywhere else in London!
K. Z.
Great venue and superbe location. We had a great evening celebrating my daughter's graduation. Fantastic views of London's South Bank.
H. J.
We had a wonderful dinner at the Sea Containers London last weekend. The food was delicious and we had a lovely view of the river. The service from our waiter Ismael was exceptional, he was attentive, great fun and really made our evening extra special.
I would highly recommend this restaurant and hotel. The bar here is also great and serve amazing cocktails - which Ismael managed to get us a booking for even though they were fully booked.
Overall it was brilliant! Thank you :)
T. R.
Fab place and the staff were so professional and attentative. Definitely would visit again.
J. Z.
Beautiful hotel, i would deffo recommend this place to stay, or use the restaurant or bar
V. C.
Amazing hotel with great food and a lovely top floor bar. Very good service as well.
L. J.
Beautiful hotel by the Southbank, had a lovely birthday staycation. We stayed in a suite which was bigger than our London flat! We had two balconies but most rooms seemed to not. Great views across the river to St Paul's. Downside was the covid safe delivered breakfast-but that's going to a hotel during covid. Had beautiful flowers and deserts in the room (but this was extra)
M. R.
Very nice hotel, and close to lots of tourist attractions.
J. M.
Amazing location, great staff, and nice rooms. Simple decor in rooms but it's all to a high standard. Both the rooms I had were large (standard rooms). The views are great and the restaurant is pretty good. Parking was full even on a quiet Monday during the pandemic, but there was a car park just a one minute drive away/less than 5 minute walk.
N. F.
Amazing views from roof top bar, can see all the way over to the City and beyond. Amazing range of cocktails and beers. A little on the expensive side but the views really make up for it. Whenever I go it’s been very busy, often there’s only seats on the sofa left but still recommend
J. T.
Amazing hotel! You pay for what you get 5* hotel is so worth the extra money! Prime location, just all round excellent hotel.
A. S.
Just came here for the dinner, super delicious - everything was cooked to perfection, going to have to come back here, no complaints whatsoever!
Staff were also super friendly, great views - right by the water
A. H.
Excellent hotel, lovely clean rooms, comfy beds and good showers, excellent breakfast and really good central location for all the attraction's and sights.
M. S.
I treated myself to a night's stay in a Seaview Loft Suite, staying in a suite I did expect some kind of welcome in the room (bottle of water) but there was nothing. I was also expecting a freestanding bath like in the picture of their "Loft Suite" on their website but instead I was given a disabled room. I accidentally pressed on a button that said "reset" which prompted security to come up to my room and then I realised there were more of these buttons and red cords everywhere, which made me abit anxious. I also paid for a supplement to breakfast on my original order but apparently this wasn't registered in the final booking? And I had no idea how to go about it without paying the full price for an additional a la carte breakfast item. I did stay put in the room as the views were beautiful but the experience could have been much nicer, especially with the amount I paid.
J. M.
Great location, comfortable rooms, breakfast service could be better
I. T.
Amazing hotel
Staff very friendly
I will be recommending this hotel to family and friends.
Only downside the private garden could do with some sort of canopy to combat the British weather apart from that perfect stay 😃
a.
Don't think I've ever had a bad time here, the staff are so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I would 100% recommend this place to both seasoned londoners and newbies
R. A.
Nice location though unfortunately the ginger teas we ordered arrived late and were fairly cold
B.
Lovely building with outstanding security officers always very welcoming if only all building were like this one.
D. C.
Lovely staff n lovely atmosphere.
Breakfast way over expensive pp and not a lot of vegan options as me n my partner are vegan . Need more vegan options in menu imop in restaurant .
G. I.
Having visited both bars, having a room stay and going to the private cinema on Saturday I can honestly say that the staff and service at Sea Containers is fantastic. Yes, it is a luxury and the prices reflect the location, but visits there are always memorable.
D. S.
I apologise in advance as this will be a lengthy review!
My dad actually worked at Sea Containers when it used to be a shipping company, and I had such fond memories of going to his workplace for summer and Christmas parties that I knew I had to visit the reinvented Sea Containers when it opened!
I first (finally!) came to Sea Containers restaurant/bar in 2016 and was instantly enamored. I have visited numerous times in the 5 years since and each time I fall in love with the place even more the time before!
The service is absolutely outstanding every single time. The food is beyond delicious, and the drinks? There's definitely a reason lyaness was named best bar in the world.
I had booked an afternoon tea for 6 people on 12th June 2021. I've had many afternoon tea experiences and hands down, this was the best. We were served by Adiran and his service was impeccable. He went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable experience. He made sure all our requirements were taken into account, took the time to explain every aspect of the afternoon tea, and even made special non-alcoholic cocktails for our friend who didn't drink, just so she didn't feel left out.
I've never been to any bar or restaurant anywhere in the world that holds a candle to Sea Containers. The service is truly amazing, every single time I've been. The staff always go above and beyond and it really makes you feel special.
I've brought so many people here (including my dad!) and every single person has loved it! So much so, they have introduced Sea Containers to their families and friends!
I can't wait for my next visit and (when I've saved up enough!) a stay at the hotel! I already know it will be great!!
Thank you to all the staff, you all are amazing and really set the standard in the industry.
B. H.
Excellent hotel, comfortable rooms and great service
A. O.
Had a great night's stay here for my birthday, they even treated us to a couple glasses of prosecco. Really lovely room and a super comfy bed.

We had a lovely afternoon on the terrace with a view of the Thames and St Paul. Great venue, service and food. The only feedback I would give is that it would be good to see some more plant based options on the menu. Would highly recommend

Had the pleasure of staying here in the first days it re-opened after national lockdown. Staff were incredibly helpful, hotel very clean and rooms are spacious. Good location and easy access to the tube. Highly recommended. Thank you.
O. P.
Overall good hotel, excellent location, limited room service menu. Recommended hotel
P. H.
Quality hotel, perfectly situated for visiting all London has to offer. Great service too. Room service was London priced, but still worth it.
Upgrade to river view if you can.

My husband booked our stay for my bday back in Dec 2020, lockdown hit and the team allowed us to reschedule for this weekend. The team, particularly Andrea and Riccardo, were amazing- from continously assisting us to organising a bday drink to taking a photo for us. Last weekend we stayed in a different hotel, also a 5* hotel with a wild garden terrace just off Oxford Circus, for double the price. I'm so glad we stayed there first because the Sea Containers was a much nicer and safer (COVID) experience with faultless service and warm, welcoming staff. Oh and the river view overlooking St Paul's never gets old! I really can't fault ANYTHING about this hotel, thank you!

Nice bar in a great position, on the Thames southbank. Staff are efficient and friendly. The prosecco deals are great.
ע. א.
Very very good and clean and with great service and great view, will come back for sure
G. I.
Very nice hotel, loved the location
M. E.
Phenomenal view, especially if you get the corner round table. Came here for bottomless brunch and has the chicken and waffles. Food was delicious as expected but the service was something else. These guys remembered each of our drinks orders (4 different variations of champagne cocktails!) and magically topped us up when our glasses were empty. Polite, attentive and friendly, what more could you ask for!
K. J.
Staff a bit lifeless, facilities are still cut down despite life supposedly being back to normal (paper cups in rooms, bare minimum offerings, no proper breakfast despite restaurant being open for walk-ins, and so on). All in all a very expensive disappointment.
T. S.
Wife and mother in law stayed here for 2 nights, very nice location, very trendy and happy with the whole experience. Would stay here again. Highly reccomend

It constantly amuses me that this used to be the home of Customs and Excise who had the responsibilities, amongst other tasks, of seizing naughty publications being imported into the Uk - even when they could be bought legally in the country. All that is thankfully gone to be replaced by a rather lovely hotel hopefully to be fully accessible as lockdown lifts. Hope you like the photo. I think it’s pretty fab 😀

Great looking place to visit. Nice roof top photos😊

Had a lovely time whilst u stayed in sea containers back in August.
I take my hat off to the Guest engagement manager, Joe Rockey for being amazing and trying his best to ensure my stay was as smooth as possible which he did as he assisted my room set up for my fiances birthday surprise.
I went for the opening night (the return back from the COVID lockdown) and was slightly disappointed. I thought, it being the opening night and such a reputable hotel, guests would have received some sort of premium either for those attending the restaurant/bar or staying, but nothing was.
It was my fiances birthday on the day also and I was promised that it would be made lovely or there would have been some sort of surprise, but again, staff failed to do so.
The restaurant was very good and my waitress very hospitable.
I would return but possible only for the views.
A. T.
Wonderful hotel. The rooms, staff, atmosphere is all fantastic. On finding out it was our anniversary the staff were so nice. There are lovely touches in the rooms, from slippers to sweets. Comfy beds, great views to St Paul’s from river view rooms. Love it and will try to return.
J. M.
Great hotel! Always a pleasure to stay there
M. K.
A perfect stay. Awesome staff great breakfasts. Amazing location. Very nice rooms. A bit more room coffee would be nice but this is all hotels. Well stocked mini fridge. Free wifi is a bit slow at 3megs but too expensive for a single days upgrade on bandwidth, it works.
G. P.
Great food, wonderful decor, great staff.
S. H.
The hotel itself is great and modern. Room was clean, modern and spacious. I also liked the design of the lobby area. Breakfast was amazing with such a variety of food. Location-wise its directly located at the Thames which offers some nice views. On the other hand the next train / underground station is a couple of minutes away.

Had the best anniversary weekend.
My girlfriend and I decided to book here for our 1 year anniversary and was not disappointed. It is located perfectly on the South Bank and the interior looks so attractive on the eye. The staff welcomed us warmly and were very friendly throughout our stay. The deluxe rooms were beautifully decorated with modern art, furniture and a stunning view of the river and St. Paul's Cathedral. The hotel has a complimentary spa and gym, which had great facilities and exceptional service. The hotel offers a private cinema for standard pricing which looked incredible. The room's en-suite is very nice and clean. A marble theme running from flooring to the sink and shower. The bed was very comfortable and durable. The restaurant was stunning. Fabulous breakfast spread with pastries, fruit and fried breakfast. The room was cleaned daily and room service was very quick. Definitely will be returning!
R. V.
Convenient hotel in good location. Rather overpriced for what you get
C. S.
We had a lovely Sunday brunch here. After a pretty heavy night we were not interested in the bottomless part of the brunch so I can't comment on that, but the food was lovely. You normally get the table for 2 hours but we were having such a great time we stayed way longer. I'm sure this was only possible because we were not bottomless and the restaurant was busy but not full. Great vibe, great decor, I'll definitely be back.
C. M.
Great hotel, super service, great value for money...will.be back
G. S.
Beautiful place to take a break along the river, and much better than grab and go high street coffee shops.
M. W.
A fantastic welcoming hotel with delightful decor and wonderful views. It's not a cheap hotel by any means buy it's worth every penny. Staff are welcome, friendly, helpful and polite. We had a riverview room with disabled access which was beautifully appointed. If ever I want to give my wife a treat of a stay in London then this would be my first choice.
S. W.
Excellent staff, lovely room, all around great experience. The care for guests really shows in the little details of the room: extra large bath towels, adjustable dimmer switches on nearly all lights, good cut-crystal-effect glassware in the mini-bar, plentiful hangers, black-out curtains, plug sockets in sensible locations.
We had drinks in the bar downstairs, which served very tasty cocktails with a delightful view over the Thames.
In addition, the concierge and guest services went out of their way to help me arrange to have cake and flowers waiting in the room for my wife's birthday, for which I am extra-grateful. Highly recommended!
M. R.
Came here for my boyfriend's birthday, the food was top notch but the service we recieved from our waiter Ismael was above and beyond. He made us feel welcomed, got everything out to us super quick and made it a special evening! His service alone will be the reason we come back!
D. S.
A delightful surprise. Great value for money, beautiful rooms (though I do believe I was bumped one level). Good breakfast, great facilities. I found by surprise that they have a cinema in the hotel.. Was actually really fun! And also two very active bars on premise. Overall also great location. Will be back..
S. T.
Had the cocktail afternoon tea. Every aspect was really top notch. One of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had!
T. B.
Great location. Great hotel and extremely helpful staff
C. C.
The food is good but I don't think it justifies such high prices. Don't go there hungry as you'll starve. Service could be improved - particularly the chefs tend to change often which impacts consistency. All waiters are lovely but the kitchen staff could be a bit more careful. There have always been mistakes the times I've been there. Great wine and cocktails.
B.
We stayed at Sea Containers in February and had a wonderful time. We were checked in by Andreas (spelling?), who was very welcoming and professional. Our room was amazing, with a brilliant view of St Paul’s and all the facilities you could ever ask for/expect. The roof top bar is definitely worth a visit, particularly if there’s space outside (worth it even in winter..). We will definitely be back!!
M. C.
Best cocktails by the river Thames in Lioness. Sophisticated ingredients and great nibbles. Tom Dixon decor which I love and overall a really stylish hotel. This time it was our first time at the spa. We had 50 min full body massage for my partner's birthday. It was so ralaxing. Their relaxation lounge is so zen. We spent hours on there. Time stopped!
C.
This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in my life. I loved the cruise theme and it was spot on. It is in a generally good place in the city. The room was very nice and clean, and I felt very comfortable. If I ever go back to London, I will definitely come back here.
S. E.
Check In and Bar staff were absolutely spot on ! A great experience !!
A. S.
I liked my stay here. Can have a drink quite late at one of the bars. Food was good in the restaurant, although the lady whom was our main server could have had more personality.
Great location and nice view from the room overlooking the Thames. Beds were very comfy and had free internet. Shower was great. One thing to note they don't have rooms with 2 singles. I learned this the hard way by going up to the room and my friend and I weren't sharing a double bet. Friendly but not that friendly lol.
K. K.
Very stylish, spacious hotel. Well staffed and welcoming. The rooms are contemporary, spacious and very comfortable. Great location for a lot of things in central London. I would eagerly stay here again. Great views from the restaurants and very high quality breakfast.
R. P.
Went here for the bottomless brunch, was well worth it. The food menu is simple but a good selection, I had the chicken and waffles, which were great but a little shy on portion size. Go for the bottomless drink option, you'll get your monies worth, the servers are great and making sure your drink is topped up. Highly recommended it, and try and get a table outside if the weather is good
C. S.
Fabulous cocktail bar, staff friendly and don't mind spending time with you to find a cocktail you will love. I would recommend you give this place a go
H. N.
This place is pretty cool 😎 it's a vibe, love the style, great room size, shower, toilet all good, decent breakfast and food menu and lovely view of London however only negative I would have to point out to is the placement of the television which can be a bit of a nuiense when you forget it's behind you and wack your head on it, other than this, I had a great stay here, the bed is so comfy 🥰
T. A.
Fantastic Hotel! Modern, quirky and high spec rooms. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Incredible lobby area! Love the nautical touches! Great location on Southbank! Great views of London and the Thames. I didn’t have time to go to the restaurant but the menu did look very appealing! I would certainly return to Sea Containers London! Great to see the Hotel’s generosity for the many Frontline/Key Workers during Covid times! A very tough environment for the hospitality sector! Thank you Sea Containers for a great time!
E.
Love this hotel! The decor is modern and luxurious design. The location is perfect for exploring South Bank and it’s fabulous sights - Tate modern, South Bank centre, borough market, tower bridge etc. Staff are super helpful and friendly. We arrived at 8am, check in is usually at 2pm but and they were able to give us a room straight away.
Room was a good size, really comfy bed, great shower and lovely smelling toiletries.
Over the weekend they charge £20 for buffet breakfast which is perfectly reasonable considering the quality of the food.
The gym has all the modern equipment and weights you need.
Didn’t try the spa but the cinema is awesome. Very intimate and comfy.
Would definitely choose this hotel again!
L.
Great location and lovely staff but the food really wasn't 'anything special' unfortunately. I hope they were 'just having a bad day' and that your visit is better.
K. O.
Had a lovely brunch here on a Saturday at midday. The place was quite quiet when we got there, but got busy fairly quickly. I had the bacon and cheese hash, which was really nice and filling. The service was very attentive, though the waiter kept trying to sell certain dishes even after we'd told him that we'd already decided on what we wanted. One of my friends has a few allergies and they were very open and helpful with navigating the menu and altering dishes to suit. I got the bottomless mimosas and that was great - every time my glass got low another glass would appear before I'd even looked to get someone's attention! The decor is really nice, and the view across the river is great. A bit pricey for a casual brunch, but good value for a special occasion!

Fast becoming our favourite place to stay when we come to visit London. An absolutely epic reception area that looks like being under a ship. Fantastic rooftop and ground floor bar options, and high quality rooms. It ticks a lot of boxes. Definitely see if you can find a last minute deal here, it’s great. Super central location too.
H. J.
Fantastic hotel in a great location on the South Bank. The rooms are stylish and ultra clean. Great bathrooms with excellent value product. Bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Overall a great hotel, ideal for couples spending some time in London.
L. G.
We stayed at the Sea Containers for my partner's birthday and it did not disappoint! Everything about our stay was 5-star. From the service, to the room with a view, the spa, and the food and drinks - absolutely brilliant - one of the best 5-star experiences I've had in London for the price. Exceptional value for money and the staff are also 5-star - nothing is too much trouble and they were very lovely to us. We really appreciate that as it makes the stay exceptional. We will be back! Thank you xxx
J. V.
I find the service even better since the hotel changed to the sea containers. Rooms always very clean comfortable. Amazing views from the roof bar. One of the coolest things is what I call lift art so cool. An amazing hotel to stay
E. C.
My husband and I stayed 4 nights at Sea Containers. I absolutely love its location. We walked by the river everywhere. We stayed in room 434 which has two queen beds. It is unusually spacious in Europe. The beds are extremely comfortable and the sheets feel luxurious. However, there was one safety issue in the bathroom. The bathtub was quite high and there is nowhere to grab on. I had a real hard time getting in and out of the bathtub. We had to request a non-slip mat to prevent slipping. Furthermore, there are a few inconveniences - not enough shelves/storage, no towel bars in the bathroom, no shower curtain and a closet handle bar always in the way. These issues can be easily fixed. Overall, the custom service is great and the front desk is very helpful. We had a wonderful time here.
A. C.
We found this place by chance and it was a very nice surprise. It has an amazing view, cocktails were delish and very friendly staff. The atmosphere was nice and it is a good place to spend some quality and relaxing time chatting with friends. Definitely going back. London is always full of nice surprises.
C. R.
Great hotel. Rooms are clean and pleasant. However the pillows were far to soft for my liking and having stayed at the hotel twice, both times I’ve noticed I can hear a buzzing noise which I can only assume is the aircon from another room.
The bar is a pleasant place to get a drink.
c.
We stayed in studio 601, which was a beautiful room with a view onto a courtyard at the back of the hotel. Quiet location which was good, the room was beautifully decorated with Tom Dixon furnishings and Malin + Goetz toiletries - luxury! The whole hotel including the lobby is decorated to perfection! The breakfast was amazing and didn’t feel or taste like the buffet it was. The rooftop bar is very popular and he great views, get a negroni or two. We would definitely come back - staff were always very friendly and happy to help. Thank you!
A. W.
Very good location and the shower pressure was surprisingly strong. It's a cool historic building with updates (elevators are a little snug.. 😆). The room was good size and decorated nicely. The bathroom was very clean and the water pressure was strong.
S. M.
Excellent hotel, great location, lovely rooms and friendly helpful staff
S. H.
Love 12 Knot, it's a great rooftop bar.
K. D.
Truly nothing to complain about. The staff are very nice and ready to help at any time. The food at every restaurant is mouth watering. The location is very central and bang on the edge of the Thames. The rooms are all very well kept and designed in a very pleasant modern aesthetic. 10/10.
J. L.
Fabulous service and cocktails. High tea really superb
S. J. C.
Absolutely fantastic hotel. The location is great close to several two stations and also great walking points for many city attractions. The staff and the rooms were impeccable and with the Riverview room was absolutely spectacular. This is one of the nicest hotels and one of the greatest places to stay for a terrific holiday.
S. B. C.
My boyfriend and I had a dinner here a few weeks ago. We had found a special deal on a tasting menu through Time Out London. We were very happy with the food. Everything was served family style so we each got to taste everything, and the portions were quite large as well. They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy and went above and beyond to make sure I had just as much food as my boyfriend. Only complaint is that our waiter was inattentive and very pushy about selling us on the house wine when we had initially wanted a wine tasting menu. All in all though, it was a nice meal.
K. B.
Had a lovely brunch here. The egg Sammy was delicious. A brioche bun with eggs, bacon, avocado and cheese. It was spot on. Also did the bottomless mimosas and they were really on it with the refills.. which is always nice.
E. L.
Super excited to be the first guest at Sea Containers on their reopening day! Went for a barre class in one of their patio suites... perfect weather and welcoming staff. Everything was super clean - almost felt normal.
A. J.
Great hotel, and dining is delicious. Everyone from the check-in staff, concierge and waiters have been very pleasant and professional. The back patio has an amazing view of the water and city. Perfect place to hang out on a sunny day. Also check out the 12th Knot on the 12 floor.
M. K.
Birthday celebration booking, the presentation of food was nice, the service was great and the atmosphere busy. The disappointing part would have to be the food was served cold on several main dishes, after the whole table ordered. After checking with the server would the crayfish be cooked or raw, the server returned after all orders were placed to be told the crayfish would be raw. Then a little while later, the main of cod loin was not available, disappointed expecting mother.
G. H.
Really nice vibe with good tunes and great cocktails
J. G.
Great value Sunday afternoon tea
D. E. J.
Swanky modern interior in the common areas of the hotel, as well as the rooms.
Rooms have a lovely river views and original interior, clean and specious.
Great restaurant and bar in the same modern style. International cuisine, but doesn't have much variety for vegetarians or vegans. Great variety of fish dishes.
Spa is specious, clean and well equipped. Drawback: spa doesn't have a swimming pool. The Spa area have great Turkish sauna (steam room) with a cold shower inside, but all the Spa facilities are separate for man and women, in the individual changing rooms, and therefore not so suitable for couples.
The only common area in the Spa is a quiet room: which again, has an original modern interior, but no healthy snack buffet, only refreshment drinks (water and tea). It's possible to order in the quiet room from the room service menu, but the waiting time is 45min. Spa staff could be more friendly and flexible. ...
Overall a great stay but spa could be improved by accommodating a common steam room and improving the level of service in the spa.
b.
Nice enough hotel but the drinks are way overpriced. Plus they add a 'discretionary 12.5%' to the bill which you're not aware of. It all comes down to personal preference so I wouldn't stay here again. For me, 7 Dials/Covent Garden area is nicer and more vibrant. Nice views at night though with the city lights.
R. R.
Trendy decoration, fantastic vibe all over the hotel and very luxurious. Staff and service is outstanding. Very good location, excellent breakfast, famous bars - hotspots. The room is missing the warm atmosphere of the rest of the hotel, although it is stylish and has interesting quirks
J.
Stayed here last year and the hotel is in a fabulous location, extremely modern and maintained eloquently. The Spa, including the massages are fantastic and the cocktails from the bar were great. The room was pleasant for the price you pay. I would definitely stay here again if the prices were lower.
C. D.
Wonderful hotel in a perfect location. Comfortable high end hotel, that makes you feel very special.
s. l. s.
Service is 5 star
food just ok ,not a lot of it trying be be different didn't work for me
K. K.
The hotel is one of the best one in which a have been for a really long time. The view form the roobs is stunning. The price is high but still for the customer service that you will receive is great. The food and drinks that you can order in the hotel are amazing. The staff is hard working.
F. W.
We had the afternoon tea with cocktails on a Saturday. The cocktails and food were great, everything seemed fresh but the portions were quite small for what we paid. Pretty setting with the table and seating.
J. S.
Great food, especially the Ceviche tacos and our waitress was lovely! She kept our bottomless Prosecco very well topped up which is always v much appreciated 😉 Thanks so much!
O. G.
Bit of an odd one. Great location, very helpful and friendly staff, a decent breakfast and a nice room too. The rooftop bar is good, but it's too loud for a quiet drink and a chat. Also, on several occasions the pipes made an unbearably loud sound that came from the corridor outside my room, and lasted between 1and 10 minutes each. This was all between 7 and 8am. Considering the price I was disappointed.
A. R.
Loved, loved, loved this place! My husband and I spent the weekend in London and our experience at this hotel made the entire trip so much better. The staff greeted us the minute we stepped out of our car, assisting with luggage and showing us to the front desk. The front desk clerk was extremely friendly suggesting an upgrade (at a charge) to a room with a water view. We are so happy that we took his suggestion because I can't imagine staying in that hotel without the amazing views of the Thames River and the lights of the city behind it. We slept with our shades drawn every night just because the view was so amazing. The location of the hotel was perfect as the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, and Tafalgar Square are all within walking distance. If you head out the other direction you can visit London Bridge and the Tower of London. The walk along the river to all of our destinations was beautiful. Our room was clean and nicely sized and had all the modern amenities that you would require. When we were leaving we arrived at the airport and realized that we had forgotten our passports in the room safe. I panicked of course, because it was early in the morning and getting back to the hotel and then back to the airport would have been impossible and we would have missed our flight. Our driver called the hotel and they quickly rescued our passports from our room, called a cab and within an hour we had our passports delivered to us at the airport. They went above and beyond to help alleviate what could have been a very stressful situation for us. I can't say enough about the staff and the hotel! If we should ever have the pleasure of visiting London again, we will definitely stay at Sea Containers again. Thank you so much for making our trip to Europe so enjoyable!
J. Y.
I cannot say enough about this hotel! They upgraded us to a river view. The customer service was just incredible. The room was much bigger than other hotels I’ve been to in London. The spa was divine! It’s a real luxury experience and you get to use it for free!! The massage was great. There’s so much to say about this place. The 12th floor restaurant view! Movie theatres! Location! I was so sad to leave! Definitely coming back! Thank you sea container!
A.
Lovely! Great rooms with a great view - make sure you ask for a room with a river view. Best cocktail bar in the world (2017) and can confirm it. Breakfast and afternoon tea both very good too. Highly recommended.
W.
Very nice hotel with some strange rules. They don’t want you “standing”. If you can’t find a table at the bar, you have to leave. Odd. But their rules.
Service was good overall. Hotel was nice. Good location as well.
L. H.
The location of the hotel is very good. You can easily walk to the London Eye, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, etc. It is so easy to walk to restaurants, trains stations. The service is very nice. We forgot a couple of little things. The service staff delivered to us quickly and free of charge. The hotel & room are very clean and comfortable. If we are coming back to London, we definitely with stay here again.
B. C.
Fantastic hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Brunch was lovely especially the bottomless Bloody Mary and Bellini options! The room we stayed in was very stylish with a great view overlooking the Thames. Highly recommended
J. E.
Overall a slight disappointment for the price. We stayed the night before and after our wedding, staff acknowledged it but didn’t go to any effort.
The £200 held on my CC while we stayed was still missing 4 days after leaving...I had to call to chase it’s return.
We were given a disabled access room but did not need it.
Staff polite and friendly though, but this hotel is nothing special.
E. E.
Visited with my husband for a birthday bottomless brunch. Staff were so attentive and helpful and there was never a moment when we needed to wait for food or drink to be delivered to our table. Visit if you want brilliant service for a special occasion.
M. S.
One of my favourite hotels! Super friendly staff, great location, beautiful clean rooms. My room 357 overlooked the river, had 2 bathrooms, a massive tub, shower with rainfall shower head, 2 TVs, dining area, comfy deep couch, and a gorgeous balcony. I felt so spoiled! They also have Nespresso coffee makers and a candy dish. The soaps/shampoos smelled great. I had no idea they had chromecast and connecting it to my phone was so easy. I also had breakfast buffet in the restaurant the next day; great options and super tasty. I wish I had more time to use the gym and take in the view with a treat on the balcony.
D. D.
Used to work there some time ago and the views were and remain stunning. The front of the river rooms are amazing! Service is great and as long as the staff knows of any issues they will address them right away. Rooms are very quiet and nicely decorated.
A.
Lovely hotel, super easy check in procedure; even through all this covid palava. The rooms were gorgeous, staff were attentive and didn't forget about anyone. Definitely coming back soon, save a patio room for me pls.
B. M.
Went to the Rumpus Room for champagne as a warm up for a friends birthday. We didn't have a reservation but was able to snag a table. Service was excellent and we enjoyed the atmosphere for an hour before we headed out for dinner. Not the cheapest bar but well worth it for a special occasion, views over the River Thames were as spectacular as always.
A. B.
The bar is one of my favourites in London, and the staff are super nice. At the restaurant, Michal was kind enough to give us a couple of free drinks as we were celebrating a late Valentine's Day. Overall the service was exceptional from everyone we spoke too. Great food too, although we only tried the brunch menu.
L. D.
We had a beautiful stay at the Mondrian, sadly for only one night. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Cabs line up outside the hotel for easy access, which is great when you want to get somewhere, as I don't think there were tube stations nearby. The breakfast is not included but it was an excellent buffet of the typical English breakfast. We tried both of the bars in the hotel. The Rumpus Room on the twelfth floor was lovely, had a wonderful view over the river, the most notable sights being St James and the London Bridge (I think). However, the live DJ music was quite loud, so we preferred the ground floor Dandelyan bar. This was also a great bar. We had some very good cocktails and enjoyed the live DJ there as well. There are still riverside views, but not as large and unfiltered, of course.
A. L.
Lovely cocktail bar. Really enjoyed the visit. Fantastic place to sit by the river Thames and enjoy the night view and boats passing. Bar staff are ever so helpful and friendly. They explain all the drinks to you if you ask. They ask what you like/don't like and then suggest drinks based on this.
E. E.
I had such a great time at this hotel. Since the moment you step in you know you are in for something different. You are greeted by bell hops in sweaters rather than in stuffy suits. Everything about this hotel and the rooms are visually stimulating and attempts to get you in the mood. The rooftop bar is so much fun and the views of London are quite amazing. The rooms are comfortable and the cleanliness and amenities are what you would expect from a hotel of this caliber. My biggest surprise was the next morning when we had the most delicious eggs benedict that I have ever enjoyed. If you are considering this hotel I would highly recommend it.
K. S.
Absolutely love it here. It's a stunning hotel with a great spa. The rooms are much larger than others you will find in London. The location is great! So easy to get around
The bar downstairs also does amazing chips and cocktails 🍹
E. F.
Love this hotel, we stayed here with a group of family and friends for 3 nights. We had a free upgrade for our wedding. Love the relaxed atmosphere the roof top bar and the friendly staff. Highly recommend.
M. C.
What a gem! The 12th knot is a fantastic space for events. Also the screening room. Rooms are well designed. Great feel across the hotel. Good public spaces, amazing breakfast. And the staff are polite, helpful and friendly. 5 out of 5
H. H.
We had dinner at Sea Container, the main restaurant of the hotel. The venue itself is great and the view really enjoyable. However, I found the service quality was really poor, we had to wait a long time before the order was taken and some things we ordered never came. The waitress was in a constant hurry and clearly showed it to the customers. I think the venue is understaffed and probably untrained which is quite annoying and surprising for a world renowned brand such as the Mondrian. The food was good and well presented.
J. M.
Easily one of my favourite hotels in London. The location is great for leisure travellers because you can walk right out onto the riverside. I would give them extra points for the incredible restaurants. The beautiful restaurant on the ground level is used for breakfast but turns into a fine dining experience at night. The rooms are big for London. As of this review they were quite fresh and felt new. I will stay here again many times.
O. B.
We stayed at the Sea Containers hotel on two separate occasions during our trip, and it was by far the best service either one of us has ever received. Especially often we would ask for help from a young man named Catalin who was very receptive, quick to offer us help and solve any and all concerns we had. He took as much time as needed every time we asked for any help and made sure we were all set. The other employees we spoke with were just also extremely professional and helpful! The food at the hotel was amazing (we tried dinner several times and breakfast, as well as some day snacks here and there). The rooms are comfortable and the view is great! I would very much recommend staying at this hotel to everyone! Thank you again to Catalin for helping us out as much as he did!
A. C.
Great hotel, neat, tidy and well appointed. The staff are friendly and helpful, I would stay here again without a moments thought. The room was super comfy, we had the best nights sleep because the room was so quiet. Having the river view is worth it in my opinion, waking up to a view of St Paul’s is something special and it’s nice to see the river working away...
D. W.
Very nice hotel with good quality food in it's restaurants. Everyone was great and no problems with service. Had room with a view of the river which was great! Very easy to get to the Underground and easy access to waking areas. While I was there the showers were extremely loud. That's the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Would stay there again.

Great hotel with wonderful and attentive staff. We were on the 14th floor with splendid views of the city of London architecture. Facilities in the hotel were fantastic. Free spa use for guests and top notch breakfast. I'd go again!
S. B.
Lovely hotel. Fantastic staff, cannot do enough for you without being over bearing. Breakfast well worth the money everything from cereal to smoked salmon. Spotlessly clean throughout. Would recommend this place to anyone. Can't wait for the chance to stay again.

My partner and I got a beautiful balcony suite for the night. Every little detail from the moment we arrived was super. We had a cocktail in the Dandelyan bar on the ground floor and it was the best cocktail I have ever tasted.
The staff were incredible throughout our stay, from reception staff to the bar staff at the Rumpus Rooms, they remembered who we were and they all made every effort to come and talk to us and congratulate us on our engagement, which we did overlooking the stunning views of London.
The stylish design of the hotel and location is simply breathtaking.
I would like to thank everyone for the effort they made with us during our stay and look forward to coming back.

Wonderful hotel with beautiful view of the Thames. Employees were exceeding helpful. In house restaurant had an excellent breakfast buffet. Never got a chance to use the movie theater but heard it was a great experience.

Had a great stay at Sea containers, the Staff were friendly and accommodating. The building was modern and interesting. Layoness cocktail bar on the ground floor was quieter than the one on the 12th floor which had a slightly younger, noisier vibe to it although getting a drink upstairs was not as easy and neither of the bars were cheap although the quality of the drinks was good. We were staying for a birthday treat and there was a nice addition of some tasty chocolate when we arrived back to our room in the evening. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room was quiet, the view of Pauls was also great and worth the "river view" supplement. Can't comment on breakfast as we decided to take that at Dishoom in Covent garden but that as they say is another review!
R. H.
Great rooms. Comfortable bed, great showers. Nice bar on the roof. They even give you a phone with unlimited mobile data to take around London with you. No need to buy a SIM or anything. Oh and the towels are huge and fluffy
D. W.
Was really impressed with the place stylish rooms, great location and staff can not do enough for you.

Omnibuzz.co.uk took a hen party to spend a weekend in central London and they stayed at Sea Containers Hotel. Staff at hotel took all their luggage and put it in their rooms while the girls went off to a meal on Southbank.
M. L.
Smart hotel on the south bank with a cinema. It looks pricey and it is pricey. £8 for a waffle. Still, nice views from the restaurant terrace. Tables are very packed, so no real privacy for conversations. The set price menu in the sea containers is good value and tasty.
A. 1.
Great food with good views. Graciously did NHS discount for us :)
J. J.
Great views, amazing cocktails. The lobby and bar areas are inviting. I was there from midday to midnight and saw the transition from peaceful afternoon retreat to popular night spot. The events team were really helpful and the staff as a whole are very good at anticipating when they will be needed and what will be required.

One of my favourite hotels in London. Lots of versatile communal spaces, from the cocktail bars to lounge area (ideal for business meetings over a coffee). Rumpus Rooms has a great terrace, although gets very crowded during peak times. Dandelion Bar has a wonderful selection of unique cocktails slightly at the pricey end but well mixed. Love the NY regency interior design throughout.
R. S.
Lovely modern hotel, really enjoyed our overnight stay. The one downfall is the overrated bars.. and phenomenally overpriced 'standard' drinks. £30 for 2 popular cocktails.. I expected them to be nice at least!
G. T.
Extremely elegant and fancy cocktail bar located on the ground floor of this luxurious hotel hotel. The atmosphere is nice, soft lights in the darkness and comfortable sofa's. The service is really polite and attentive... anyway honesly not the best cocktails and really overpriced for what was the overall satisfaction had...anyway location at the top and you pay for it... around 14.5£ for a cocktail...
D. R.
An excellent location. Within an interesting walking distance of the West End, the City and Borough Market. Good, modern, relaxed hotel. Funky bars. Elegant but a bit different. Had a great stay here for a few days.
S. J.
I stayed at the Sea Containers for 4 nights on business and I must say I have nothing bad to say about this place. From the lovely scent that welcomes you to the amazing, ever smiling staff, delicious meals... Its all 5 star from me... I'll definitely be spreading the good word about this place. Oh and the pillows were to die for!!! Love them so much, I bought one for myself 😂!!! Thanks to Simon and Tamas for making my stay here fabulous, I'll be coming again son!!! 😊😊😊
A. W.
Absolutely stunning hotel with great views. The "handy" mobile phone in the room with unlimited data and calls would be incredible for an international guest. Slight screw up in that the bar accidentally gave me a vodka & coke (I don't drink) instead of just coke, but were very apologetic.
S. R.
Very chic hotel and bar. Very welcoming, great service. x
K. C.
Fantastic hotel in great location. Super modern, cool restaurants and bars and view from the top floor bar of the St Paul's and the London skyline is spectacular. Not as cool as the LA Mondrian but stylish in it's own way, no bathrobes in the room and also both the checkin and restaurant staff could be more friendly and engaging for a 5 star hotel and review!

Amazing presentation location on the South Bank. 7 mins taxi from Waterloo station. Complimentary refreshments and wow what a view over the Thames!
Getting in is like Fort Knox though which is good for peace of mind. The on site catering is of a good standard however the queues do take a while so factor this into your breaks as there's no food allowed in the rooms.
All of my delegates loved it and I'm sure they had a memorable learning day too!
Cheers

Went for lunch with colleagues. The food was pretty good, but the service was really slow. One of the nice things was the variety on the menu - there was something for everyone. Portion sizes weren't too bad either.

Fantastic spot to explore the core of London from. The bars are both great, as is the restaurant. The hotel staff was really on-point for all of our needs. Also, the views from the room were tremendous.

Stunning hotel with designs by Philippe Starck. Lovely bath products and amenities. I got a room with a little patio which was lovely. Location is close to the Tate Modern however not too accessible to the tube. The value is very good though and overall highly recommended.

Price is good for its area. The facility itself is simply gorgeous. Loved the views out over the Thames and St Paul's from our room. Food at Sea Containers restaurant was superb. The same is true for the restaurant which offers delicious food. The reception staff was very efficient. Staff very friendly and helpful.

One of my top three hotels in London. Nice location overlooking the river. Great choice of bars in the hotel to choose from, my favourite is 12th knot (formerly Rumpus Room). Breakfast was great. Rooms are modern and trendy.
E. C.
Great experience at the Mondrian. The staff were lovely, the room was gorgeous and really comfortable and overall the hotel was great. For a central location the room was very quiet.. the bar was busy downstairs and the hotel was pretty full but we didn't hear a thing. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back at some point.

Fantastic place to stay. Great location. One breakfast waiter was rude. Carrying cutlery rushed between myself and wife and I'm disabled and stood in the way of myself while he put his cutlery away. No apology. Apart from this one insident everything was great

I really loved my room. The sheets were comfortable and the room had a modern and tranquil feel to it. The staff were helpful when I asked for late check-out and there were no problems during my stay. I even used the fitness center which was small but clean with upkept equipment.

A unique hotel with plenty of distinct features combining Art Deco features and a classic cruise liner style. While the restaurant and bar is expensive it is well worth the cost. The rooms are spacious and well fitted and the view from the 14th floor was amazing despite the wet London weather.
K. “. A.
Had a wonderful stay in this hotel. Great bar and bartenders in the downstairs (Lyaness) bar. Can’t really say anything about the rooftop (12 knot) one as it was way too busy to hang around. Awesome view though.
Y. P.
I love the rumpus room at the top of this hotel.
However my experiences haven't always been positive.
I had a first date here once and the guy turned up high. He was actually stoned and then sat out on the (very nice) balcony for half an hour chatting up some other woman. He then got mad at me when I told him I was going home.
But the service is impeccable, and the views over the Thames, especially at night, are glorious.
Needless to say, I never saw that guy again.

Bright modern spacious Hotel right on the Thames with a nautical theme with it's bars , restaurants and clubs highly sought after by non-hotel guests so can be much busier than a hotel of this size would expect to be. In saying that a flash of your room card almost guarantees a seat in all the spaces favoured by the cognoscenti. Rooms are nice and invisibly serviced....never saw chamber staff but they arrive and do their magic to a high degree seemingly effortlessly and silently. The staff especially were a delight with Nathan on the door particularly helpful, and informative. Nothing too much trouble for all we met. Sea Containers is a great restaurant although my pet hate of being moved off the table as you barely finish coffee seems to have infected the manners here. At the cost for food a little lingering would be appreciated. The Rumpus room is good with a lively atmosphere and views rivalling anything in London. Best of all exceedingly quiet in our 14th floor room and apart from an errant guest setting of a fire alarm we thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay.
D. J.
The bar was lovely, beautifully designed and well laid out. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable about the drinks on offer and attentive. Prices were high, but no more than any other to notch London cocktail establishment.

A terrific hip hotel with an awesome lobby bar. Lyan-ess makes it worth staying here on its own merit. But you also get a beautiful hotel with lots of photo ops and great location for strolls along the Thames during the warmer months. Tube stations are easy walks for most people and great eateries abound all around. Truly a nice place to stay.

It's a nice hotel with excellent service. Although there wasn't a business center, the staff at the front desk were more than happy to make copies and let us use the printer. The restaurant there served really good food and after informing the waiter that we had to leave early, they were very accommodating.

One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in London. It's fantastic. The rooms are huge, and the view is fantastic. The service has been amazing, with everyone doing their best to ensure a great stay.

Best Hotel in London! My wife and I stayed for our anniversary and the staff acknowledged this by providing us with various little treats. The staff are so welcoming and treat you like an old friend rather than a business associate which is so nice. Food, drink, room, everything gets a thumbs up and is a must if you are looking for style and comfort. Thanks Mondrian
A. D.
My room was very interesting (ultramodern!), and if not always to my tastes, it was refreshing to have a hotel make bold decisions with its interior. The staff were perfectly friendly and accommodating. I expect to return in the future.
H. W.
This was a mediocre stay. Front of house was disappointing and having read the reviews I hoped for better. Check in took a quarter of an hour after the system crashed. At breakfast I returned to my table to find it had been handed over to another diner. Departure was similarly slow. Staff looked rushed and overworked. Worth a visit but at this price there are better places to go to.
R. J.
I would say here again! The hotel is lovely and in great location. The room was gorgeous, the bathroom was amazing! What really made my partner and my stay at the Mondrian, was how helpful and kind the staff were. Very chatty and friendly! I ended up not being very well on one Of the nights we stayed here (I fainted for a number of reasons in reception and wasn’t feeling my best, you could say), all the staff that I saw and helped me were very kind, one staff member who I’ll remember was Joana, she went above and beyond to help me, when I felt better, we went for some food and when we came back to the room joana had left a little note and some chocolates for me. She was honesty so kind so go out of her way to do everything she sorted and helped us with.
This hotel is lovely, and at night, the roof top bae was living and I would recommend going to have a drink in there!
S. B.
Booked a riverview deluxe room the hotel kindly upgraded us to a suite. Amazing view and suite stylish and with arty designs in the room.
Staff amazingly attentive nothing to much trouble. Go see it and enjoy.
P. M.
Room excellent. Service excellent staff very attentive and eager to make your stay a happy one. Food very good. As a corporate event, my only criticism was not being asked how I prefered my lamb cooked, rare, medium etc. Otherwise food excellent.
G. G.
The views from The Rumpus rooftop bar are fantastic and the best in London. They have the most unique and creative mixologists. Their cocktails are divine and one of a kind. The staff are very friendly and there is a real buzz about the place. The clientele are great creating a wonderful atmosphere and a very enjoyable experience

This review is solely for the restaurant.
I've eaten here a few times now & never been disappointed. The menu changes seasonally & there are dishes to cater to most dietary requirements. The food is always fresh & delicious, modern without being too "fussy". The staff are polite, knowledgeable & professional. The restaurant is also located right on the river so there are beautiful views, if you are sitting on the other side of the dining area then you can see into the open plan kitchen area. The food is a little on the pricey side but worth it & the drinks are quite expensive. I recommend this restaurant but maybe it should be for special occasions for some people.

Incredible experience. First time staying here. Originally had a city view room with a balcony which unfortunately smelt of smoke. Luke, Andréas and the rest of the staff were extremely accomodating and the upgradeto a spectacular River view room was really appreciated, could have not asked for any more. The bed was super soft and very comfortable, not a single noise from outside Amazing rooftop bar on the 12th floor and a fabulous restaurant on the ground floor. Room in breakfast very satisfactory and efficient. The rain shower was ok water could have been a little hotter. Beside this an excellent place, highly recommended. Hospitality and service was excellent.
T. M. S.
From when it was the Rumpus Room to now being Twelfth Knot, the style has minimally changed, the view is just as awesome and sadly I found the some of the bar and waitress service less friendly than before.
Not enough to ruin my evening though as the vibe is added to by the location which made me feel good no matter which direction I looked in.
M. N.
Amazing venue. Fantastic ambience and beautiful surroundings. The service is always amazing and I cannot wait to return. Highly recommended.
S. B.
Private dining area, was superb. Very good staff, polite and catered to everyones needs. Food was amazing! Upgraded to a balcony view room, very clean and beautiful.

Great location with fantastic views of London skyline. Loved it's modern funky vibe.
Signature smell when you walk into the foyer is gorgeous. The rooms are of a good size for London city with beds so comfy it's difficult to get up and out. The in room cocktail kits and designer toiletries are a really nice touch. Gym facilities are good enough and the roof top bar is a must go too whether you are staying here or not! Will definitely stay here again!
L. D.
Very nice hotel. Location can be great or not so great depending on what you want to do. Perfect for the Southbank and Waterloo station is only a short walk away. Rooms were quote compact but comfortable. Room service food was excellent-we ate off the set menu so got 3 courses for 35 pounds which was really good value. We visited dandelyan bar, cocktails were amazing. Not sure if it really requires a bouncer at 6pm on a monday though. It was also quite busy so service was a little slow. Spa was very nice. Would stay again if I was just wanting to do touristy stuff. For shopping trips I would stay elsewhere.
S. J.
Great food, great service. Loved it.
Order loads of different dishes for the best experience. Lovely flavour combinations..... stand out dishes, Seabass Cerviche Tacos, Crumbed Pork Loin, Haggis Croquettes and the Pea Asparagus Papperdelle. Service spot on and friendly. Made to feel right at home!

Second time we have stayed at the Mondrian over the Bank Holiday, love it's riverside location within walking distance of theatre land. Superior room was very good though no bathrobes which is a disappointment at that price point. Food is excellent, as is the service.
S. R.
Very centrally located just a few mins walk across the Waterloo Bridge and your near all the theatres.. Shopping and bars.. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Rooms are a good size and nicely decorated
A. S.
A modern, well-designed, and comfortable hotel, near the River Thames. Rooms are cosy, clean, and looks like new. Customer service is good and staff is friendly and welcoming. British breakfast buffet is rich and it's great to enjoy the river view from the restaurant. It's a pleasure staying here.
K. s.
Lovely hotel, lovely staff. The suite we had was very well decorated and laid out. More than enough space for the two of us. In a great location - just outside the hustle and bustle but close enough you can walk to where you want to go.
B.
I stayed here for a work event, the hotel staff were very friendly, rooms were nice and clean and breakfast was great! I had a nice view from my window to top it off.
J. M.
Amazing hotel with possibly one of the best roof top bars I have ever seen in my life. Amazing breakfast options also. Their is even a cinema based within the hotel. Would have expected a pool for the price.
M. G.
Not bad, but I'm glad I didn't foot the bill. The room was fine, but looking out of the window across to office workers on the same floor is odd. Breakfast wasn't fantastic and service seemed a bit lacklustre.
S. R.
Hip hotel with excellent onsite restaurant . It also hosts an amazing cocktail lounge and rooftop bar. Rooms are nice and modern, service is spot on and breakfast buffet is delightful. Views of the thames and London skyline are good but not spectacular. Hotel is close to a lot of nice restaurants and cafes.

Cocktail bar was out of this world on the 12 floor.
Highly recommend it.
Will defiantly be coming back.

Great hotel located in the South bank/ SOHO neighborhoods. It sports a small but well furnished gym, a sauna a rooftop lounge a lobby area bar and restaurant. It's also located close to several metro stops. Overall a pleasant stay and easy to get around London.

Absolutely loved this Hotel. My first time in London and my first "High Tea" in England, my dream!!!! Could not have had a better time. Staff was all so very nice and from start to finish, it was a lovely experience and HIGHLY recommend everyone to go there.

Great hotel and perfect location

Awesome luxury boutique for a reasonable price. Water view rooms are fantastic, great gym and wonderful spa. Food choices are a bit over priced, but great drink options. The Rumpus Room is a good time.

An edgy hotel well situated for London visitors. Reasonably sized rooms well maintained and serviced. Not quite 5 star compared to other London notables but would rate it a very good 4.5. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Fabulous restaurant with lovely food. And the view of the River Thames is a real bonus.
M. O.
Great location for Thames walks, access to Tate Modern, Globe Theater, St.Pauls and the cool neighborhoods in Southwark. Hotel service outstanding. Rooms and facilities are modern and lovely and hip. River side has amazing views from rooms. Note that most of the Sea Container building is office space with the hotel rooms on specific sets of floors, but the hotel lobby seems only used by guests of the hotel and people heading to the roof bar and lobby bar and restaurant. The roof bar is not open Sundays and Mondays and is 21 and over. Definitely gets hit by after work well dressed crowd in evenings. Not having a River view from your room likely means looking straight into office building or down an alley. Our family of 4 had a 2 queen bed room booked but upgraded to a corner suite because we were offered a River view upgrade and we realized it would be quite cramped without the extra space. The sofa bed in the suite was not comfortable for the children, but we pulled the mattress off and put it on the rug on the floor in the living area and got them to provide extra duvet as passing which helped make it comfortable enough. Overall very nice for the price we managed online combined with the upgrade!
G. P.
We visited for the Wyld Afternoon tea and can honestly say it's the best afternoon tea I've had. You get 4 cocktails included and all are selected to complement the stage of the experience. Don't expect this to include scones as it doesn't but this means there is more room for drink and you don't leave feeling stuffed, just satisfied. Lastly the service was impeccable. Couldn't fault it
B. K.
I have attended for multiple functions and every time the Mondrian has been great. The function rooms downstairs are well manned, have a cloakroom and plenty of space. The restaurant is also great, though if attending a set menu event, call ahead and clarify if you're vegan or you may get three of the same course 😅 Otherwise, glowing experience.
T. M.
Can't recommend this hotel enough and if you are coming in by train to Waterloo, make the walk as it is lovely ***** the Thames there. Worth every penny and a very relaxing end to a busy day. The location in the center of London is appropriate. Bathroom & room facilities were excellent.
M. G.
Very pleasant location and an imaginative interior. Warm welcome and waiting staff who know when to engage and when not to. Most dishes are for sharing so this might not always suit a business meal but the food is simple and will prepared.
S. P.
I'd recommend going to the Dandelyan cocktail bar which is located within the hotel. Unfortunately, I cannot comment about the hotel itself as I haven't stayed there, yet. However, the reception area and staff were very welcoming.
D. D.
Very cool bar, lovely ambience and first class service. Cocktails at £14 are expensive but you get what you pay for, pure class in a glass. Very enjoyable treat with amazing d.j. playing some tunes. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit here on a Saturday night. Also do check out the "Rumpus Room" bar on the 12th floor for outstanding views
M. M. J.
Comfortable and gorgeous setting along the river. The lobby is good for drinks, working or general chillaxing. The food is ok, though a tad over priced for what it is. Honestly, I can cook better at home!
Usually restaurant staff are super attentive, however, during my last visit it took nearly 1 hour for a bottle of wine to arrive. Food had been served and eaten and still the wine was nowhere to be seen and the staff didn't even ask if we'd like to order other drinks whilst waiting. Apparently they were looking for one in their cellar 😂 Must be one HUGE cellar! That or they ran to a wine merchants to buy one 😂
Other than that all ither visits have been lush.

Slick, modern luxury hotel with stylish rooms overlooking the Thames. Service on check-in was friendly and efficient, and our room was extremely comfortable. The view over the Thames is impressive, especially at night. The venue also has a restaurant and a small cinema.
M. S.
Nice hotel, nice people BUT. Two major things: no free WiFi which is unbelievable in 2020. And breakfasts are quite poor. Choice is very tiny. Quality on expected level.

I've stayed here for more than a month and found my stay really pleasant! Definitely recommend this hotel! Great and reliable service (room service, restaurant and reception). Every staff is friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff are nice too!

Minus: ordering for amenities (tooth brush) but not receive it to the end of my stay.

Had an amazing 3 night stay with my 2 sons and husband. Comfortable room and beds. Hotel is top class, clean, great location and restaurant.
Honest hotel staff. Forgot my Kindle in the room after checkout, called in a panic the following day, and was told they found my Kindle, and had stored it with a reference number to retrieve. Housekeeping shipped it to me all the way in the US. Many thanks to Violeta, Iulia and Mirabela

I came to these guys last minute having been let down by another venue in London for a proposal. They kitted the room out perfectly and were very accommodating! George did a great job at the concierge desk. We will be back for sure.

Lovely room, unfortunately when using the shower you soak the whole floor. Bar closes too early on premises and a little way out from any late night open bars. Gorgeous pent house bar.

This has to be one of THE places to stay when visiting London. Central to many attractions and historical places, walking distance from Blackfriars, and overlooking the Thames it has a luxurious look and feel to it. Food is excellent, staff pleasant and helpful and I love the historical decor and items on display around the various lounges. Wonderful, will be visiting again. 😊

This is quite possibly my favourite - spread out within the building is something for everyone. Drink on the groundfloor, food in the restaurant, drink with a view on a terrace - you will never regret going here. Staff are friendly and helpful, reasonably priced given it is along the river - what more do you want?!

Nice hotel. We stayed here already twice and will comeback again. The stuff is really nice, the location although is not perfect to explore the city, but for business works very well.

Beautiful place, amazing furniture and great cocktails. They put us in the seating area that I requested in my online booking, so that was really nice. Had a great evening and the cocktails were very good, and dare I say, I liked the mocktails even better. We stayed quite a long time, didn't realise the time. 15min before we had spent 2hrs there, after our initial booking time we were told we had that time left to stay. I was a bit confused by that because I didn't know there was a time limit on the reservation (wasn't mentioned when I booked online nor during confirmation call) and it was also pretty damn quiet for a Friday, maybe there were other bookings coming, but it was very quiet so there was plenty of space. I'm not sure if that whole area was booked out later or if we just weren't spending enough money quickly enough, so that was a bit like "oh ok, I guess we'll leave" but I might just not know the rules of cocktail bars since for me it's a special event kinda place and not something I can afford to go to regularly. :) But if you fancy a yummy cocktail at a cool place, go for it, and make sure to have a nice evening stroll along the Thames afterwards. :)

Stunning views from a great cocktail bar with contemporary flavours and a very well built cocktail selection. The drinks are very easy to choose due to the menu descriptions, and the staff are very approachable and helpful. Definitely a must here in London.

A fab dining and dining place just on the thames. I like to sit at the bar in the main dining area looking out at the Thames and watching the world go by. Great cocktails and the food is good as well.

Sweet place to stay overlooking the Thames. Good times with the Gumball 3000 crew

Wonderful hotel. Clean, well designed rooms. Wonderful front desk service. Very warm and welcoming. I was very pleased with the room service, cleaning service and conceriage. Great location.l definitely recommend.

I was not greeted by the most friendly host, which dampened my excitement pretty quickly, but the bar tenders make up for it. Rachelle behind the bar really knows her stuff. When my friend described the tastes she likes and asked for a surprise, this bar tender managed to procure the exact thing she was after to the point that she still harps on about it one week later. These are the kind of cocktails that make you want to try them all.

We went to the bar because it was apparently the only one open at 10:30pm on a Monday. We were staying in the area and didn't want to venture out. The bar is comfortable, the drink selection is great, and the staff was super responsive and friendly.
I. C.
Bit hard to find entrance to the bar as it's not obvious that you have to go in the hotel entrance. The cocktail selection was incredible and the staff were very informed about helping you decide. Obviously very pricey and presentation could have been slightly more orginal but still exquisite

Excellent rooms, location & staff. Walking distance to most attractions. Breakfast is a must & both bars are comfortable & fun. Stayed 5 nights & when ever we come to London we'd stay again.

Great hotel, located conveniently in walking distance to many hotspots within London. Hotel is located directly at the riverbank with small cafes and restaurants very close by. The hotel also has a nice rooftop bar as well as a more quiet cocktail bar on the first floor.
B. W.
Excellent food and service. The rib-eye steak was amazing, as was the triple cooked fries. The lamb and chicken were also very tasty. There is a very extensive selection of wine and cocktails on the menu.
P. W.
Well laid out establishment with diligent staff. The atmosphere was pleasant although music at times was so loud that conversation with person next to me was difficult. Maybe have been a faulty sound system at the time as it was intermittent. The view from the 12th knot bar is great

Husband and I stayed here for a one-day stop en route to a conference. There is a great selection of restaurants to choose from. All the food we had in the hotel was of a very high standard. Thank you guys for making this experience, Lovely, Special and Distinguished.

Hotel is right by the river and very centrally located. Room was spacious, nice amenities with a retro and clean decor and priceless view of London. Some of the staff were, however, not the friendliest.
S. F.
Great location for the South Bank and National Theatre. Large modern hotel with immaculate rooms and fantastic staff. The hotel restaurant and bar are also both worth a visit even if you're not a guest.
T. M.
The location can not be beat. The staff at this hotel could not be more friendly and accommodating for. The hotel itself was very neat and clean. A guy we met in reception, Hamish was especially impressive and made a real fuss of us and couldn't be more helpful.

High class hotel with a special riverside location. Classy spacious lobby where even the check in desk is a work of art. Rooms vary in size but are very comfortable. Room service breakfast was lovely and not too expensive. The Dandelyan and Rumpus Room bars both have great river views. Dandelyan on the ground floor, great for people watching, and Rumpus on the 12th floor great for the London skyline. This week was my 3rd stay and I'll be going back.

Went for brunch on a weekend. The bottomless bloody Mary's were great at £18, but the food was so very average. I had the beef sandwich and it was a total let down. Very small portion of beef and lacking any flavour. I'd go back for drinks but wouldn't go back for food
R. C.
Had some lovely cocktails with family, lots of choices on the menu but didn't have pink gin which a few in the group drink, so they did struggle a bit to find a drink. I would go back.
J. S.
Awesome and central hotel - closing walking distance to desired locations - would be perfect if a decent breakfast was easier to find nearby! Note - seems to be a party goers hotel so a little loud around 1-3 in the morning on the weekend.
K. B.
"Best cocktail bar in the world" is pretty accurate! Drinks were fantastic, the view of the river was gorgeous, and our waitress Fabiola was an absolute gem of a human being. So wonderful!
V. M.
Visited for pre-dinner drinks upon seeing a busy, bustling bar. We were quickly given a table and the atmosphere is great for unwinding, particularly in groups. The cocktail menu definitely surprises ... as do the prices. But it is something to be experienced all the same.
T. C.
Great location on the South Bank. Really friendly professional staff a modern chic hotel boasting an award winning cocktail bar on ground level and the 12th Knot club bar on the 12th floor. Expensive but a good experience.
B. M.
Lovely view of the river food was good..albeit very expensive wines
Service was quite good at times overbearing..reflected in 12.5% service charge..fair..
But waitress then proceeded to ask if we wanted to tip in addition. Go figure?
H. S.
Such a stylish and beautiful hotel in a great location on the South Bank. Amazing service from everyone; great breakfast; the best cocktails in London at Dandelyan; spacious rooms that are quiet and super-comfortable. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.
F. M.
Very posh looking place but very average experience both in terms of room and their Rumpus Room bar. If I want to make tea from a kettle that would look cheap in Argos, I'll go to Premiere Inn. And if I wanted to have to be personal friends with the wait staff so I can get a half-decent table at 10pm, I'll go to a private club. Oh, and they charged my card for a breakfast that that my company had paid for in advance. Nice.

Sea Containers is a beautiful place to stay at. This was my first night got another to go. Staff aim to please, cautious and honorable. Upgraded me due to small issue. Wanted me to smile and be happy on my Anniversary xxx.

A funky hotel in a great position on the Thames south bank. Unusual nautical themed decor. Friendly and very attentive staff resulting in great service. Rooms have everything you would expect at this price level, some rooms with great views over the river. Good location to explore south bank attractions like the Tate Modern or Shakespeares Globe Theatre. A short walk across nearby Millennium Bridge into area around St Pauls.
b. m.
Very nice surroundings and you can tell the class of the place as soon as you walk in. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking is a valet service and is not set up to receive deliveries for an event - as the delivery bay is shared and people there are very rude around unloading for events. Other than that the place itself is very up market.
K. G.
Modern and stylish. Good venue for an early breakfast or a river-view meal. Pleasant outdoors drinking area for and evening tipple beside the Thames. Convenient for many South Bank locations (Tate Modern, The Globe, art galleries, The Golden Hind, the Clink, Borough Market, etc..)

This hotel is stylishly decorated and once I had worked out that the TV could be swivelled out I was very comfortable on the mountain of pillows watching a film in the soft bed. The climate was easy to control and not too noisy and there was plenty of lighting options to choose from. Unfortunately the light behind the large mirror was not working as I would have liked to see how it looked. This is also the first hotel I have stayed in in which I could buy a vibrator from the minibar! Great location for our visit to the Tower of London with lovely riverside seats to enjoy some pre dinner drinks. We even got to see someone trying to walk through the window in his haste to get to the terrace!
R. J.
Starters were very nice, especially the cerviche tacos.. yummy! Didn't enjoy the spare ribs.. had to send them back add they were chewy. Lovely restaurant and staff though.
L. M.
Very trendy, very ultra modern in a very central location connected by several tube and overground lines, on the South Bank alongside all the arts venues. Next door to the OXO Tower, easy access to most central locations. Good selection of eateries and bars. River Side location.
M. M.
The most relaxed high end hotel you’ll ever walk into. The decor is so fun, inspired by a nautical vibe combined with old movie art.
If you can’t afford to spend the night in this hotel then at least treat yourself to a drink (or two!) at one of their bars. Dandelyan (downstairs) has award winning drinks and rumpus (upstairs) has amazing panoramic views. So you’re in for a treat at either!

Another enjoyable stay at 1 of our favourite regular London locations.
Following a mix up with our luggage being misplaced, we have to express our sincere thanks to Nelson Tavares and his colleagues for going the extra mile to locate and reunite us with our luggage.
Looking forward to our next reservation and spending NYE with you for the celebrations.

I stayed at the Mondrian for the second time this year, and the service was exceptional.
I booked to stay the night with my family for my mother’s birthday and they went above and beyond to make her day special with extra touches.
The staff were friendly and polite, the rooms beautiful, and the food fantastic.
Because of this, I have just booked to stay at the Mondrian in Miami and the Hudson in NY this summer for 2 weeks.
Thank you all at Mondrian South bank!

Had a pre-Christmas dinner at Sea Containers. Food was abundant, very good quality and well-presented too! Staff were busy but attentive, and happily bagged our excess food! Yes, there was plenty to eat yet we still got overwhelmed!
P. J.
Very nice and modern hotel. Room overall quite good and great location for what we wanted to do. Disappointed with prices of things like breakfast and even coffee so just went out instead. Overall would recommend staying here though.

Client event for 30 here, and the team took wonderful care of us. The food was delicious and the drinks kept our sprits high. Highly recommend.
M. W.
Excellent cocktails at Dandelyan bar downstairs. The drinks are consistent and they have a decent list but they dont come cheap. River view is really special and makes a great place for date night
N. T.
The bar (Dandelyan) had a decent selection of drinks and pleasant decor, and a wonderful view. It was slightly let down by the music, but was very enjoyable. Not sure it merits the best bar in the world award, but it is great.
J. S.
Great service curtesy of Cieran. Cheers!
A. P.
It's location is in the Southbank area of London. A short walk and I could see the London Eye and Big Ben.
The checking in was fairly smooth, although I was surprised at having to pay £100 deposit in case we used the mini bar (I didn't!). We did a minor upgrade £35+vat, as the initial view was just a large office and as I've not been to London for several years, I wanted a better skyline view.
The check in staff are very courteous and the service was excellent.
The room was fantastic, nice comfortable bed, spacious, lovely shower.
N. M.
Beautiful views from this large high class hotel. Room service food hit and miss. But on the whole a really comfortable stay, in a great location.
K. M. M.
Lovely place, everyone was so nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was really good. Can’t beat the location!
L. A.
There's a new cocktail menu at the bar, so it was a pleasure to pick from their very eclectic selection of cocktails. Although they will make your favourite cocktail, I really like the slightly strange selection they create her.
S. S.
Nice clean big rooms with all the essential amenties. The handy phone (free phone for local calling and data that you can take with you on your day to day adventures) was extremely useful. Close to 3 tube stations. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel to stay, lovely view of St. Paul’s, the rooms are modern, comfortable & spacious. I would highly recommend dinning @ the sea-containers restaurant on the ground floor, delicious food by their celebrity chefs! There’s plenty of other attractions close by to the restaurant, the OXO tower is seconds away, they have a great Resturant as well, lots of pubs, the world war survivor (camouflage) dazzling ship could be seen from outside the Resturant. There’s lots of great artictecturhe in and around the hotel. Rumpus room on the 12th floor is a great rooftop bar, they have a balcony to go on, Curzon cinema is great, the green marble dandelion bar next to the Resturant is a great bar, they have great mixologists there, I was told that it was created by a multi award-winning bartender Ryan Chetiyawardana A.K.A Mr. Lyan. Well it’s definitely a great bar. Overall Mondrian is a great hotel!
M. R.
Gave the restaurant a second chance and was soo happy! After a slightly disappointed visit a month ago, I was pleased to see that the manager has got to grips with the service (as it was flawless this time round) and the food was wonderful. My recommendation the bottomless bloody Mary and the blueberry pancakes - amazing!!
I'll be back again for sure!
J. S.
The cocktails are great but the food is ok. I expect a restaurant of this style very on trend menu to at least be served warm. Waitstaff were average. Spending over £100 a head I expect better.
A. S.
Very modern and trendy, with lots of pink and purple lighting and cool music in the lobby and very friendly reception staff. The room was spotless and pleasant, with the food from room service being expensive but high quality (and reasonable portions, unlike many other hotels). It's a little way from the nearest tube but ideal for Blackfriars rail station on the Thames. I'll stay there again if down in London on business.
R. B.
Nice place, good vibe, friendly staff and the room was spotless
P. M.
Good ground floor bar, very detailed cocktail menu. Not a bad whisky sour but could have been a bit more sour. Nice space to have some drinks
H. C.
Fantastic food, excellent attentive service, wonderful ambience.
G. W.
Great hotel, stayed 2 days.
T. B.
Called in for a late night drink- no problems getting a table, polite and attentive staff!
J. R. D. P.
Great hotel. The location is great and the amenities and quality is very good. They give you an android phone with unlimited calls and internet, the facilities are new and the gym and the spa is in good condition (including a sauna). It is neighboring the OXO tower and is located in front of the Thames. The food is quite pricey and you can have something better for the same or Lowe pricein London.
K. T.
If you're looking for a lush view across the river onto the city and beyond this is the place. Both rumpus room and dandelyan are a sight to behold with great cocktail connoisseurs. Perfect for a date night to surprise your significant other with breathtaking views and great ambience.
S. D.
Fantastic views and great service.

I visited the Mondrian hotel for an event. From the outside the Mondrian looks like any other hotel but don't let that fool you. The interior is a breathtaking mix of contemporary designs with sweeping Cooper lined walkways to the restaurant. It has excellent views of the River Thames and offers comfortable seating to enjoy the view. The Mondrian even has a Curzon Cinema, which is a unique offering in my book! A very pleasant and refreshing experience

Superb. Slick styling, friendly staff, comfortable rooms (with a great mini-bar!) AND USB chargers in the wall. The attention to detail was impressive and the breakfast was excellent. I'll certainly be returning.
C. G.
Nice bar on the ground floor with outdoor seating overlooking the Thames.
J. C.
Awesome central location, with great views from our room, the Dandelyan bar, and Sea Containers restaurant. Staff were extremely helpful with everything. Room was spacious with a great range in the minibar, although a little pricey for what was available. Would recommend all aspects of the place, particularly Dandelyan bar.
M. A.
Amazing hotel. Tremendous location right on the water, like right on the water. Easy walk to multiple train stations and bridges. We had a standard room, worked fine for our needs. Staff is super helpful.

Was here for a business event. Interesting place, in a good way! They had a bunch of retro stuff around the place, posters of old space films, retro arcade games (I played a bit of pacman), a full size space suit. Conference space was good other than a great big pillar being in an unfortunate place (near the back though). Decent acoustics, hi-res big screen etc. Staff were great, food was lovely, albeit vegetarians were less well catered for. Coffee was OK, ludicrous assortment of tea accompaniments (fresh lemon, honey on the comb, etc.). All pretty good really. Seems like a smart place.
