Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I actually ended up extending my stay and cancelling my reservation at another Hostel because of how much I loved it here. The restaurant and Bar downstairs are great and you get discounts on food and drinks when you stay here. Which lets face it, helps a lot when you are in London. I would definitely stay here again because of how friendly the workers were, and how comfortable my stay was.

I really liked the capsule rooms in the hotel, I was intrigued by the concept of it and this was my perfect introduction to them. The food in the restaurant was delicious! The staff was kind and helpful. The shared bathroom was clean. I definitely enjoyed my stay!
w. 2.
Lovely clean hostel. Maybe toilets could be better and there could be a sign in the rooms telling not to put the main light on at night because so many people wake you up by putting them on when they please. Otherwise my favourite hostel
R. M.
Unfortunately, after checkout if you ask to leave a small bag for an hour or two they will charge £5.
Otherwise it's a nice place for short visits.
Thanks for the correction. But it should be free as this enhances the trust of the business customers. I am over all very happy with your team (now 3 to 4 star) and their professional attitude.

It's a lovely hostel and the rooms are very clean. The toilet and bathroom is clean and in good condition. Friendly staffs and guests lodging there. There's a nice bar. It's so easy to locate and loads of shops in the area. Up to five buses going there and it's near Borough tube station. You can walk 5 minutes to London Bridge and it's a very nice area.

Had a good stay here! My room was a private twin on the top floor with a skylight. It had a desk and AC which was great. The bathrooms were usually clean except late in the evening. Be aware you can hear the music from the bar downstairs even on the 5th floor and on a Wednesday night, but with ear plugs you’re fine. Bed was comfy and check in staff friendly! At £44 a night (booked a month in advance) the location can’t be beaten
C. P.
Cool staff, clean facilities, warm room, easy check in! Anyone that wants a nice hostel to chill in come here. I didn’t socialise too much as I was working but the bar downstairs looked like it was always popping off!
E. E. -. E. F. S.
Really fun, really relaxing and not too far from central :). I also for the first time here, had my own twin private room which was a new experience for me, great! As before I have stayed in shared rooms, when I stayed in London and Paris, that was good fun then too. But the added privacy is awesome if your going out late in the evenings.
S. W.
The staff was nice, bed was clean and washrooms were in a nice condition, plus the breakfast was good too. Bunk beds did make some noise, but overall it was good experience.
S. P.
I stayed in a pod and it was super comfy and cosy, the mood lighting was great.Other guests were respectful. Bathroom and toilets were clean, towel. Breakfast was fillng and gave plenty of choice.Only moans were there was no air con, so pods were stuffy and noisy bar downstairs which kept me awake at night
Y. W.
5-4 Stars. It was not the best, but it was way more than I expected. Some corners are not that clean, but most of the hotel is clean. Breakfast was also very good. I would recommend you the chill room and the bar of this hostel (my 2 highlights)!
E. G.
Great hostel and it was beyond crowded with few bathrooms really for the amount of people there is way any given moment. But overall is a good place
N. S.
Overall had an okay experience at the hostel. Helpful staff and decent room.
The bathrooms were ok, except for the fact that in the bathroom that my room was allocated to had a toilet door that couldn’t shut. It wasn’t too big of a problem as there are quiet a lot of bathrooms throughout the hostel.
This is not the hostels fault, but of course staying at a hostel comes with having a great variety of neighbors.
Our neighbors happened to be very into techno. How might I know this? I was lucky enough to be woken by the lovely “bam bam boom boom boom” music during the middle of the night, almost every night of my stay.
Our room was also shaking at points. It was a little worrying, but we concluded that it’s most likely a washing machine located above our room. If it wasn’t, than our second conclusion would be that St Christopher’s inn is located in a very earthquake prone area.
Check out was easy:).

Probably the best hostel I've stayed at and will continue to use while I work and commute. The staff are friendly, helpful and just a joy to be around, the bar is great and has a nice atmosphere and the rooms, although they're general shared hostel rooms, there's definitely a feeling of security in this building. Would 100% recommend for people commuting for work, travellers or those just generally wanting a cheaper stay in London for a short period!
A. L.
Very clean showers, toilets, etc. Bedding clean and comfortable. The capsules were nice and cosy and provided more privacy than normal hostel beds. The lighting was a nice touch too. Staff were friendly and informative, and the bar downstairs was great for cheap drinks and a nice place to chill out. Breakfast was a little basic but with covid meaning they can’t do a buffet, that’s understandable! Great stay for the price 😊
Given four out of five because the music could be heard through the floor, but that didn’t stop us from sleeping!
I. R.
Great location, good value and nice rooms. Dorm beds have curtains, reading light and plugs (1 mains and 2 USB). Would have liked a guest kitchen - even a basic one with a kettle and microwave. Also the social space is currently closed for refurbishment so there wasn't much to do in the evening (except go to the bar).
E. W.
The place is very clean, close to transport, good food yet cheaper, freindly staff. I will be back to this hostel. They just need to advice some residents to take a shower because one of the guy on the side bed was stinking like a dead body.
M.
It was great the bedroom was okay for the price, we had a plug for each person. I just didn’t like the fact that we had to pay 5 to let our luggage the next day, usually in the others inn you can put it somewhere at the reception.
K. -.
For what it was, was great but would prefer the bunk bed curtains of the all female dorm to reach all the way so I can have more privacy.
L. P.
Angela was super friendly but also attentive. She helped me with ny questions and went the extra mile, to support me alsp special mention to Juan and the maud Cris, amazing staff averall!
J. P.
The bed is comfortable and it is close to most locations in London. Belushies is loud and goes on until the early hours of the morning. I still couldn't sleep well even when I used the free earphones provided as I could still hear the music playing, the sound level was made clear to me when I booked. St christopher's inns hostel London bridge is near good transport links. Any complaints are dealt with promptly and the sleeping pods are kept really clean.

Great place to stay! Pari was an the best bartender and made my stay even better. Totally recommend to anyone visiting London.
v. d.
It was a very pleasant place to stay. The staff was very good and helpful. They got a good bar with karaoke.
A. G.
I was surprised at the cleanliness of the place and the girl who I shared a room with were all very quiet at night time. I would definitely stay again and I would recommend it to others.
S. S.
Excellent about the location, but 4 stars because the floor was stickiness, not cleaned well.
W. W.
I really like this hostel. Highly recommended. Use the London Bridge subway tube to get here. Just 3 blocks south and you re there.
P. B.
Very nice hostel. Crowed some days. But clean and tidy.
M. P.
Overall experience was really excellent.
Only Room cleanness was not good in this COVID-19 situation. Bedsheets must be changed or Sanitized before you Hanover same bed to someone else.
R. G.
Had a great stay at this hostel, rooms were super clean and all of the staff were absolute legends! Especially Gosia, Gloria and Nico who really looked out for me, recommending places to go in the area and just generally being lovely, will definitely be back
G. H.
It's a hostel. And for a hostel it's quite alright.
The good: the capsules give you some illusion of privacy, you get two plugs and can change the color of the light. The bathrooms and toilets are clean. The staff was friendly. You can put stuff in a community fridge. A big plus are the free washing machines and dryers. They really made everything so much easier. The area is fantastic. You are in a quiet part of Central London. Many cool places are just 10-25 minutes away by foot. The underground is a 3 minute walk away, bus stops are right in front of the door.
The bad: they charge you a deposit for the padlock and towel, I get why but it's a bummer. At night, the music from the bar below can be extremely loud. I am not one to complain about this, as it's a hostel designed for young people, but it really was hard to sleep, so invest in some ear plugs.
In any case, it's a hostel I would recommend. Maybe bring ear plugs, a padlock and your own towel.
K. G.
I find it hard to say something bad about this place as I have used St Christopher's a few times before but the shower was cold like really cold :(
t. m.
Rooms are best with wide bed with good pillow and room ambient calm and friendly. shawer is best and toilet are ok.. but I recommend others due to friendly staff and open hostel for everyone equally..You can get your own lock to save some money for locker..
M. L.
Last time I visited this particular hostel was back in 2015, the feeling of the place hasn't changed and that's a good thing. On this occasion I selected this property because of its unique new feature, the capsules. These capsules don't have the bunk bed atmosphere obviously but for me it was great, I never slept so good in a hostel. I felt that my personal belongings were safer now. Everything was clean as far as I looked, towels can be rented (2 pounds but a tenner as deposit), breakfast is minimal but I would recommend going out either way. I will return if I'm in town again
Z. H.
The large dorms stack beds 3 bunks high. The bed is about 6ft long, so if you're any taller than that it could get uncomfortable. The showers seem to have a hard time maintaining a consistent temperature. Staff was chill. check-in was easy. free laundry in premise which is great. Great location. Bar downstairs is cool, gets popular on Friday nights. One of the better hostels i stayed at.
C. S.
If you want hostel style privacy at an affordable price then this really is one of the best options. The pods* are equipped with USB and electrical outlets, curtains for privacy as well as a side shelf. Each dormitory is equipped with toilets, showers and lockers. On the upper level you can find a common room with outdoor seating and laundry facilities*. Bring your own shower shoes, towel and padlock! The lower level is a dedicated bar and restaurant where guests are entitled to a modest discount. Now, the hotel itself is not clean.* The walls in my pod were very dirty, obviously not wiped down in a while. The wood underneath the matress was either oil stained or damaged by some sort of fluid. The sight of it was really off-putting. The showers, with their good water pressure were spotted with mold and the sinks/trash bins were rusty. Now if you're on the first floor (above the bar), be prepared to not sleep as a DJ is on full blast until about 2:30am. The laundry facilities* were available yet sub par as both machines refused to drain water properly. Look, this hostel obviously sees a LOT of traffic so the upkeep must be insane, but they could do better. For the privacy I would stay there again, on a higher floor and would demand to inspect the pod before settling in.
M. C.
I've used this hostel three times and recommend it to all my friends traveling to London. Perfect location, close to two subway stations and City. Supermarket across the street and lots of cafes and bars around. The hostel provides a huge selection of rooms with various parameters (gender, number of roommates, etc). Bathrooms are clean and in a good quantity on each floor. There is also a terrace, laundry, and lockers within the St Christopher's Inn Village. The only criticism is breakfast which is quite poor but what else could you expect with this price)))
E. S.
This is a not bad hostel, in a pretty good location, although the breakfast isn't good at all. I would not say it's worth £4. There are plenty of places nearby to get a cheap breakfast.
The showers are very good, but the toilets are a bit odd as you have to step up to get into them; they are sort of combined with the showers. The tampon bins are often overflowing because people stuff toilet paper into them: the hostel should put up signs letting people know that paper should be flushed, as I know in some countries that's not the case.
The pod beds give you a bit more privacy than normal bunks, and are quite good. Each person gets their own locker, though you have to bring a padlock. The deposit for towels is £10 (of which you get £8 back at the end). So look after your towel!
C. M.
This place is a gem.
I still can't believe I found such a good place to stay in London for such great price. It's really close to 2 tube stations and very easy to get anywhere. The rooms are super clean and comfortable (it really didn't feel like I was in a 14 bed room). Shower is amazing. People are great and everything looks tidy and new.
The bar is something else. There's things happening all the time, and you don't even need to leave the hostel to have a great time. Really!
I've stayed in so many old, stinky, pricey and terrible places in London that I didn't think it was possible to find a place so good as this one. It's one of the best hostels I've ever been to and I recommend to everyone.
S. P.
It's a very nice hostel. Location is really good. Staff is friendly and helpful, If you need something. They clean up every day so everything is sanitized. Only one thing bothered me, that there wasn't some kind of a small kitchen. Just a microwave and small fridge for the entire hostel.
A. S.
Cool, cheap and in a great location (right next to the Greenwich DLR and train station). The showers surprised me in a very positive way, spacious, look new and clean. Beds in 12 bed dorms can be a bit annoying if you're staying in the top bunk, but the low price really makes up for any inconvenience.
If you want to meet people from around the world (even people who work here are from all over the place) I'd recommend this hostel. Easy and convenient accommodation.
K. N.
Had been to central London for a girls night out. We were about 7 of us and looking for a place which didn’t cost an Earth, because we would stay just for a 5-6 hours. Christopher inn fitted the bill perfectly, they had one floor women only which was amazing. Each one of us had a card to enter the hostel.
The hostel was clean, sheets clean, were given a towel/water bottle. Shower and toilets were absolutely clean.
My only gripe was that the AC in our dorm leaked water and made the floor a wet/dirty. Apart from that a nice quiet place for a stay. Highly recommend it for students/travellers.
A. C.
People at the front desk were friendly, they moved my party into the same room after we'd all booked separately. First hostel I've been to so I don't know what the standard is, but outlet access was good, there was a small locker assigned for each bed, and it was quite warm and cozy in our room. Music from the bar/club below was quite loud late into the night, but that didn't personally bother me.
T. J.
Second time I've stayed here, but first time I've stayed in a capsule and I was not disappointed!
The room was spacious and had plenty of storage, the bathrooms were immaculate and there was a small seating area which is good for a bit of peace and quiet.
I visited the bar last time and that was great but having been awake for going on 30 hours this time round I had an early night. Bearing in mind I was on the first floor and it was a Saturday night I quickly fell asleep and felt well rested in the morning.
There were plenty of options for breakfast and I left the hostel feeling refreshed and not hungry in the slightest.
I couldn't recommend this hostel more and for its quality and location it's great value for money.
Thanks to all the staff at St Christopher's, keep up the good work!
C. A.
I have been well welcomed. Sanitary and the room were clean and tidy.
E. C.
It was my second and much better time there! I have no complaints over how clean the place is kept as I've stayed in quite a few hostels in London and I have many horror stories to share. Nice and tidy with an operating elevator this time, good water pressure (at least on the 2nd floor where I was staying). I let know my check in time in advance and had asked for a bottom bank, I got a response right away and my bottom bank was waiting for me as requested! When arriving keep a couple of £ in hand that will be returned to you on your departure.
B. C.
very comfortable bed, clean and fast check in and out
A. A. G.
Clean, nice staff. The location is really good. If you are into clubbing the pub downstairs is always packed and with very young ambiance. There is a chill terrace on the third floor which is very nice to enjoy a quiet beer and conversation. You can rent towels. The lifts are always busy, if your luggage is not heavy take the stairs.
V. P.
Good and friendly staff, cozy lobby, free wifi. I stayed in private capsule, it was clean and had fresh sheets. The loud and nonstop music is normal for this place, on reception you can get ear puds for free. The minus, as for me is storing personal items, if you want some security, you should buy a lock for £6. Also I found a poor ventilation in capsules. The bathroom and toilet clean and simple, without any kind of soap and paper towels.
C.
pretty nice hostel! very safe and very clean! nice staff and cool people! it's pretty quiet even though there's a bar right benieth it! you get nice discounts in the bar! all in all I had a very good stay at the st. christophers inn!
E. S. L.
THE STAY AT THIS HOSTEL IS 5 STAR, BECAUSE THEY REALLY TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMERS AND ARE ALWAYS HELPFUL, THE PLACE IS IN A SAFE PLACE, SURROUNDED WITH ALL EATING/RETAIL FOOD SHOPS, NEAR THE LONDON BRIDGETRAIN STATION AND BOROUGH TRAIN STATION.
E. C.
Fantastic visit! Got a newly renovated room (they are in the process of updating the rooms one by one). Lights and plugs are accessible for each bed and a privacy curtain. The bar is a great scene, and while I didn't visit the hostels downstairs bar last night, it looked like more fun than many of the clubs I visited! Great social area on the roof, with tables and chairs in each room, adds for a better social scene!
J. F.
Staff was nice and the rooms were clean. Stayed for two nights and didn't have any major complaints. Ive stayed at various St.Christopher's throughout Europe and I've always had good experiences. Worth mentioning, though, are the sometimes rowdy crowds that fill the bar and eventually flood into the separate lounge area. Not a problem unless you are looking for a quieter place to stay.
Z. S.
They were told by so many people that music from the bar is too loud, yet they haven't change anything. Another thing that here stayed an annoying Iranian man who disturbed at least three single woman of the hostal, he literally followed me around the hostal. And some alcoholic were on the floor of the room suffering from hang over... so mind people they let in at the hostal. Staff is friendly and the location is good, the bar itself also has a good variety of drinks. toilets and showers are clean in the morning, so you will have to hurry up. In general, this hostal is suitable for young people and someone who doesn't mind the noise.
F. z.
This was my first time staying at a hostel. But I mean I imagined dorm college style and this definitely was it... I was in a 8 person room with 4 double bunk beds. It's close enough you can walk all over the city. The bar downstairs is awesome live music and everyone is from outta town. Great experience for me. But probably not for everyone. Music doesn't start till 11pm so if you want early sleep might not be for you. But no curfew huge plus for me drinking and partying. They have free earplugs. And deals at the bar and restaurant if you stay there which is also sweet. The halls are small and so is the one bathroom but there is a bigger one. But what do you expect? It's not a hotel it's a dorm style hostel above a bar. I had some of the best times of my Life, maybe it was the traveling or new city but the bar and friendly people added. I will definitely come back. And I will stay in this hostel again and bring my friends! If your flexible and easy going this is for you.
C. L.
The hostel was a building site during my stay, which made it hard to get around. The beds were awkward to get in and out of. The lockers were quite small and awkward to fit padlocks into. The free breakfast was adequate, though there were no pastries and the coffee was some cheap instant stuff straight out of the jar. You have to pay to use the lockers when you just want to leave your bags after checking out. The toilets and showers were good, but there weren't enough of them.
K. M.
Stayed in a capsule which I really liked, but the music from downstairs on the Saturday vibrated my whole floor. That probably wouldn't have been a big deal upstairs in one of the bunk rooms. Everything was quite clean. Breakfast wasn't anything special. Great location, friendly staff, but left 1 day early as I just didn't sleep well between noise and mattress.
K. L.
The facilities of the hostel were good--comfy beds and hot showers in a central location.
However, the other patrons of the hostel were some of the loudest, drunkest, rudest, and most inconsiderate people I've ever come across in all my travels across 35+ cities in 26 countries.
S. B.
Clean and being updated. Capsule beds are far better than the usual hostel beds but you still need earplugs and a sleep mask. Steps up to the top "bunks" are almost impossible - a bit "form over function". It's wasn't easy getting into the top capsule but once there comfy enough. Controllable lighting, multiple charge points, room to sit up and a little space next to your bed - overall pretty good.
A. K.
Found myself in London for a couple extra days and low on cash. I am so happy I found this lovely hostel. The place is well run and the staff is friendly. The facilities are clean and there is a lot to do in and around the hostel. I would recommend it!
A. H.
Prices for their shared bunks are the cheapest we can find, and it's in a great location. Quite a few issues though: staff over booked beds, so we had some issues at night that required moving. Hostel is oddly located right above a loud bar. You'll hear the bass and drunkards at 2am in bed. Cleaners, for some reason, clean the washrooms at 8 in the morning... Peak time for everyone who starts their day. And there's no posted rules that explain hostel etiquette... So people come in at 2 am and turn on lights speaking full voice, waking everyone up.
A. V.
One of the best hostels to stay and I’ll tell you exactly why:
1. The london eye is two train stops away but if you want to get there faster i recommend the tube.
2. Has free breakfast if you book on their website.
3. Beds have curtain so you’ve plenty of privacy and if you want a super private hostel then you can book one of the capsule rooms.
4. The doors are sound proof, i never heard any noise and it was always quiet and pleasant.
5. It’s clean, they change the sheets every now and then and they have proper AC.
6. Every bed has a reading lamp, usb charger and a uk charging outlet. You also get your own locker under the bed, and if you forget to bring your lock then you can always buy it downstairs.
C. A.
Very clean rooms, wash rooms, & showers. Nice staff. Great location in London! Easy access to the train station, buses, & the underground. Comfortable bed. Nice hostel for a backpacking trip. I stayed in the four-bed mixed bedroom and it was quite good. Recommended!
You get a key card to use for 24 hours a day. A nice pub on the ground floor. So, at nights my room was a little bit noisy.
Continental breakfast is 3 pounds.
The best thing of the room is the charging kit (usb, both uk and european plug sockets, and a small lamp for reading) next to the beds! Amazing detail.
Check out time is super early - 10 am.
E. I.
The place has a great vibe and the staff is great, especially Orla who provided me and my friends with great service! Will definitely be back
T. N.
Decent sleeping pods with clean toilet and showers. My room was first door on the first floor, which meant at night you can hear the music pounding from the bar downstairs and all the chatter from the streets. Make sure the windows facing the streets is closed otherwise all the cigarette smell will enter your room!!
Book directly from their website to receive breakfast included! Towels are an additional cost
W. Z.
A nice place to stay in London. There are good number of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The staff was friendly and the capsule is comfortable to stay. But there was a night when the music downstairs was too loud and I feel the room shaking with it (I got ear plugs but it does nothing to the music, works with talks in the rooms though). Definitely recommend if you have good sleep quality and limited budget in London.
O. A.
Stayed here for a week while injured and there was no shortage of people ready to help me with anything I needed. The pods which I stayed in are very comfortable and come with plug points, an ambient mood light and comfy pillows. Can be a bit noisy due to the integrated Belushis but that didnt bother me. Fully recommend it
A. K.
Loud (at least in the cheap 21 bunk room) as there is a bar downstairs which closes around 2am.
However, some big benefits. Free laundry, a room where you can eat and drink your own food and very central.
J. B.
The pods are very spacious. The staff was lovely and helpful. The main downsides are the pods are above the bar, so you can hear and feel the music while you are trying to sleep. The breakfast is also disappointing. Very little selection, not even a Toaster available.
N. S.
It's a great hostel in the centre. Very close the train station and major attractions. Music and drinks were fabulous. Down side there is no elevator which most hostels don't. So ladies if you are bringing a big suitcase like me, beware. Though the staff was kind enough to help with it! All in all a great value for money!!
G. G.
I really liked the location and the pub downstairs.
Because it was around NY the prices were somewhat higher than normally what is expected.
Staff was very helpful and all was clean.
The only slight thing I was hoping for was some sort of kitchen. I like to make myself food instead of always having take outs. But besides that definitely recommend
(( Glogger Guus on his world tour))
C. L. E.
Our first night was very noisy with people "living their lives" in the hallway outside our room. We thought we made a mistake in booking. However our second night was very peaceful. The building is worn but clean, the staff helpful and the ambience "fun". Our meal at Belushi's was delicious. We may be way outside the normal demographic of hostel customer, but we would stay here again. (We wish we were 19 again!)
B. V.
Good location central London, the bar / lobby area is perfect too for both travellers and even locals to meet people. There are plenty of electrical outlets geared for backpackers! The rooms are your average hostels. The toilets and showers were okay, you have to share with the floor if you are in a dormitory.
C. S.
Hostel is clean but the bar downstairs isn't owned by them so you end up spending decent amounts of cash and it's usually filled with locals. Met a few cool people but it's more of a hotel than a hostel. I would stay again if I had no other options but I was hoping for more. The front desk girls were really nice though but like I said it's more a hotel vibe.
M. c.
Generally a fun place. BUT, there are two BIG BUTS... first. They advertise the capsules as being a premium. In the summer they are not. There is no air movement, minimal AC in the rooms and you will be hot and sweating which makes it difficult to sleep. Second. The bar/club is great for beers and watching sports but if you have any thought of going to sleep before 2 AM forget about it. The music nearly shakes your bed. I understand people in hostels love to party, especially on weekends, but if you have a Tuesday early flight to catch or want to be up early to sight see you will have a hard time falling asleep while the club is open.
A. W. (.
One of the cleanest hostels I'd ever been to. It's run top notch and the people running the front desk are friendly and helpful. It's also nice they have a bar connected to them, a lot of specials when you show them your key card.
N.
Great and really organized hostel. Everything is super clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. I can recommend the Japanese sleeping pods it's pretty quiet in there and you have a lot of privacy.
You will feel really safe there.
T. S.
Very nice hostel. I stayed in a room with about 25 people but that is hardly noticeable. The room had 3 storie bunkbeds with curtains for privacy so you could close off your bed. Each bed had a power strip with a power socket, light and usb ports. I would recommend it.
A. M.
Great spot. Clean bathrooms and they are currently remodeling so it will be even nicer soon. Currently you have to go down the street for breakfast while they are doing construction work. Nice beds with curtains so that you can sleep even when others are not. Close to the tube station as well, it was easy to find!
R. S.
I tried the pods out. Wasn’t sure what to expect but I loved them. So much privacy, and cuts down on a bit of noise. It is very secure, safe place. Like the bar, but staying on the first floor you can hear the music till the place shuts down. The free breakfast isn’t much, cereal, toast, cheese, and some sandwich/deli ham. It did the trick I’m not complaining. Was very easy to get around the city from here I would defiantly stay a gain.
A.
This place was great!!!!! Close to the London station, London bridge, big Ben, parliament and other kool spots. The staff was fun and made it abundantly clear that if we had any question to ask. They made check in n out really easy. They offer free tours, the bar downstairs is great to meet fellow travelers. The 2 bunk bed rooms were a little tight but our roommates made it work. AC worked, curtains on the beds worked great. I didnt even mind the lift being out of service. I'd stay here again. FOR SURE
T. A.
I will rate them 5 stars if their elevator had been working coz its really not an easy job to take your luggage to 3rd floor. But this is one of the best hostels in London with clean good people and room sharers. I will rate this hostel as really high end. They have a great pub on ground floor called Belushi's. It is really one of the best location in London for a tourist on a budget.
D. P.
The bar downstairs is pretty fun. Residents get a discount... Might be the only place in London considering you can get £2.50 beers (who cares if it's fosters) bathrooms we're clean they are unisex but the stalls are highly separated (it's pretty much 2 shared sinks for a few very private bathroom stalls and shower stalls) I enjoyed my stay and will stay at a Starbucks Christopher's in Barcelona in a few days... Can't wait
m. s.
Look if your looking for location and money to spend on activities rather than than accommodation, I would 100% recommend this place. Super cheap in the city. You get what you pay. But be prepared to compromise on privacy and cleanliness, as my bed sheet were not changed from the person before me. I don't know if thats their system and it comes like that or they forget to change it.
K. B.
Previously stayed at the Greenwich location, but this one is just as impressive if not better for me personally in terms of location with work. Great venue downstairs and accommodation is comfortable A class as far as hostels go. Great staff always willing to help or resolve any problems and just a great friendly atmosphere will most likely be returning again!!!
S.
Friendly service, clean rooms and facilities set in a lovely old pub -I loved how you can meet people from all over the world while staying there! The hostel has a great atmosphere and is an ideal 'home base' for exploring London due to it's central location and closeness to the Underground station.
I will definitely be staying there again on my next visit! :)

The location was very zentral. The staff must have been new, very slow and not very helpful when asking for a tour or the drink specials or breakfast offered.
The pub having tables outside in the alley right next to the hostel's sleeping rooms that were open till 3AM on a Wednesday night was not really appreciated. Moving the glass trash after that wasn't very nice either. If you are looking for a place to actually get some sleep, this isn't it. If you are looking for a place to have drinks with live music and party till late night and a bed right upstairs, this is for you.
C. L.
The private pods are fantastic - there's a lot of space and you honestly don't even realise there are other people around once the curtain is closed.
The staff are super helpful, the location is excellent for getting around to the major places, right near tube and buses to everywhere you'll wanna go.
Price was great, best price I found in the city.

I have been to a few hostels to know this one is pretty good for the price. Yes, there are triple bunk beds, and the breakfast is just cereal and toast (plus juice and coffee), but there is a hangout room and bar on the bottom. That is what makes a hostel good. The place is kept clean, there is also a grocery store next door, and good access to everything by the subway.

I needed a bed in London for as little as possible on the evening of booking; this place was perfect. Staying in a 31 bed dorm was a little weird but all backpackers are alike and the community in this room was fantastic. The staff were lovely too, beds clean, bathrooms and showers ok; I'm not sure I could rate a triple bunked 31 person bed factory as a 5* place to stay, because let's face it it's not going to be. But if that's what you need, this place has it covered. Central London (London bridge 5 mins from 2 tube stops) for under £15 when I booked - best value yet!

We visited the Hostel as a part of our school trip (about 40ppl.). The rooms were clean and looked nice. Beds were pretty hard, but had their own curtains. Some of us stayed in the fifth floor with it was annoying to get to, just by walking up the stairs, because the elevator was broken. The Hostel it self looked nice, had a great location (next to river Thames, near a underground station, etc.) and the staff was kind. Service wise we weren't amused. The breakfast was small and farely bad: Two different types of toast, one type of each cheese and ham. The Toaster often didn't work aswell. A few types of cheap cereals were also served. But I guess it was pleasing for 3£ in a "backpacker" Hostel. Some of the pupils that stayed in the fifth floor had to walk to another hallway to get to some working showers. On our floor however the showers worked just fine, with the water being warm instantly. Also like some others reviews mentioned, the fire alarm went off almost every day. The bad was no option for us, since most of us are underage. The deals given from the Hostel seem nice though. In our room, which was directly above the pub, we heard the loud music from downstairs to about 2am, but we still were able to sleep well. To sum it up, we were pleased with the product we received, given the low price point of the hostel.
K. G.
The location is great very close to the train line as well as the underground. There is another St Christopher's about 50 metres up the road so that was a bit confusing as I went there first.
The rooms are a little run down and cramped. No room for luggage so in a room of 30 people there is alot of stuff on the floor. However, the beds are comfortable and plugs and lamps in the beds are a big plus.
The staff have been extremely helpful and friendly with some of them going above and beyond.
C. B.
This hostel was great. Open 24 hrs with key card. Little bit of a maze of group rooms, similar to a sleep porch, easily as many as 50 people to room, attached to bar, easy access to grocery store right across street, centrally located for easy access to bus and rail!
G. k.
The staff were lovely and very helpful. Room was clean and well presented. Toilets and showers were kept in a great condition with regular cleaning. I did not get food or drinks at the hotel, so I can't comment on that.
C. B.
I read reviews of this place and I thought it wouldn't be too bad. The location was great the facilities were up to par. However the guests in my room we're talking all night and very rude. Keep in mind it wasn't the same set of guess but from 10 p.m. till 5 a.m. There was only about a 2-hour stretch where the room is really quiet. Somebody was always talking. I stayed in the 12-person room and really wish I'd sprung for the 4-person room. Thinking about it some more there really wasn't a place somebody can go and have a conversation outside of the bar downstairs which was kind of loud. I think this place needs to try and enforce quiet time hours. Or at least remind their guests of them.

Great location!
I have spent 3 days at this hostel and I found it very cool and awesome. Clean bathrooms and bed are ok and clean as well. Staff are very helpful and they do free walk around the city every day at 10 am so it's very convenient for solo travel to make friends and have some fun.
G. S.
Great hostel with good bed and blanket. Privacy curtain and a busy bar! The place to be staying mostly for 18-30+ if you not wanting to read a book or relax. Party was great
S. T.
If your looking for a great hostel look no further! Among the cheapest, the staff are friendly, rooms well maintained and clean compared to other hosteks, bathrooms are FANTASTIC and clean with a great bar downstairs! Great location easy to get to! Would recommend!
A. D.
Nice staff, very helpful. Rooms and facilities are perfectly clean, beds comfy. They also have a great chill places with sofa and a nice and lively bar to meet people ! Very close to the tube station as well. We had a nice stay !
F. G.
It ok for a Hostel. Good price for a night specially talking about London. They have a cool bar on the 1st floor, but if you want to sleep is good to ask the reception for a quieter room. They serve a good Burguer and many option of beer as well. Have fun, cheers
N. V.
We stayed here for a week. I felt like they didn't have enough showers and toilets, not because they were alway occupied but because they were quit filthy. I also hed the feeling the that all the bathrooms weren't cleaned every day. I rented a towel and it had a stain on it, later i discovered that my bedsheets had a stain as well. The chillroom was a room with a sofa and a microwave but you couldn't do your dishes anywhere. The chillroom had a terrasse wich was the upside of the chillroom. The staff was friendly. We had breakfast for free but if you wanted to eat you had to get up early. The hostel has easy acces to the underground, the stops borough and london bridge. There are two supermarkets within 50 meters of the hostel.
J. S.
I stayed in a private capsule. Room was co-ed with available lockers (locks could be purchased). Bed was very comfortable. Each capsule has a hue lights you can change to any color you want or standard white, red, green it blue. Privacy curtains bl ok cool almost all light. Also has plugs and usb charger that are fast no trickle charger! Bathrooms and showers were clean, bright, hot and great pressure. I was on 2nd floor an there is alate hour bar that had music late into the night. The bass didn't bother me I had my headphones and the thump kinda oute to sleep. It wasn't an obnoxious vibration a steady thump. I could hear the music. Got a breakfast voucher it was basic but good. Coffee tea cereal deli meat bread cheese yoghurt. I'm not in my 20' s for a while now and I had no issues with anything. I'd recommend for a cheap comfy bed in a great area of London.
D. Z.
Love this place. It’s always the my first stop when I come to London. The travelers you meet here are sure to become lifetime friends. They also have free laundry machines and discounts at the bar. The shower has amazing water 🚿 pressure and is very hot water.
M. H.
We stayed here for a week when we first moved to London while we were sorting out a permanent place to live. The rooms are basic but tidy and the Bathrooms were never crowded and always had hot water. There is a bar downstairs which we hit up quite a bit and a good place to chat to other likeminded people. The staff are friendly and helpful and the free breakfast in the morning kept us going for the day.
R. D.
This place. Okay let me start with the Pro’s :
If you want a good nights sleep, this is the place you wanna go. I had never been to a capsule hotel, but it was so nice being enclosed (I thought I would feel claustrophobic but for some reason it was comforting), and you had your own private space.. sure the entrance was only covered by a curtain and you could still hear people occasionally talking, but for the most part everyone was considerate, when they did talk it would be in whispers and low tones. the sheets were comfy, and take the ear plugs that they give you for free! It will be key in blocking out the world and passing tf out when you want to. Another pro is that the checkout time was like noon, so we could sleep in after a long night. If you’re in the pods you get free breakfast too. Your pod has 2 USB plug ins and 2 regular GB plugs. The lights have a ton of different color settings.
Cons:
Bathroom was kind of dirty, (there were three showers and two separate toilets to use for the whole room of pods). When I got there my pod had not been made up and there were wadded up sheets still in there from the last person- but that’s not really a con since they cleaned it up and replaced them, it just still kind of ruined the exciting feeling of getting your own lil “capsule” for the first time lol. Right next door there is a nightclub and I had the pod on the far wall, right next to it lol, so I could hear the music and it was keeping me awake until i went down and got earplugs, it blocked out the music but I could still hear/feel the beat, but I eventually went to sleep so I 100% recommend those ear plugs!! Lol
Bring your own towel ( or pay to rent one) and bring shower shoes! (I don’t remember if they had an option to buy them there..)
N. M.
Triple bunks with very soft mattresses. I slept so well, ideally didn't want to leave this morning haha. There were plenty of unisex bathrooms and the bar downstairs opened late. There's a 24 hour reception to book into the hostel.
M. A.
One of the best hostel I’ve ever been. The staff is wonderful.
N. S.
It's certainly a cheap place to stay. We stayed in the 33 bed dorm which is very cramped with very little space for luggage etc. There is only a microwave and mini fridge for the whole hostel so be warned: no dinner making. Free breakfast if you book on their website. It's basically your steriotypical hostel with a pub crawl and free walking tours. Good if you're into late nights
O.
Nice, helpful and friendly staffs. It is so near to London and Tower bridge, 5 mins walking distance. Near brought market too. Underground station is also 5 mins walk. I stay at 16 dorm and everything was fine. U will have your privacy with the curtain closed. It comes with a locker which u can secure your items or rucksack. Highly recommended.
H. G.
Great hostel in order to discover London. 5 minutes walk from the train/metro station and London bridge. Wifi was very good. Each and everything was awesome. Staff was really nice. Washrooms were neat and clean. I really recomend this hostel. Wish see you again in summer guys and special thanks to Chris who help me to provide the local information regarding events that was going on nearby places.
K. C.
The doors all over the hostel slam non stop. You will not get good sleep here. The worst experience was having no toilet paper well into a bathroom session. Other than that, decent.
D. G.
The location is really good: next to the tube and the city. The rooms are clean and comfortable, providing individual lockers, personal light and USB ports to charge your devices. Finally, regarding the breakfast included, it is suitable considering the pricing.
T.
Having used this hostel as a one night stay for interview purposes I was fortunate enough to meet, and engage with an assortment of cultures from American, to argetinian, to Swedish and even Italian and being a South African i very much enjoyed myself.
In Fact! There was a lady who stole my heart in a single night, she was an American girl born of 2 south Africans and I'll never forget her as I'll never see her again.
Overall, I'd stay again!
L. H.
Location is superb for sight seeing but terrible for sleeping. So much road noise it was impossible to sleep. There was one shower for 16 girls and two toilets for 32. Very poor. Check in and breakfast for the oasis is down the street. Not very convenient. Staff were friendly and it was nice to have complementary shampoo, lotion and a towel but those were the only perks. Felt like it could have been cleaner.
O. B.
The place is during bulding restoration so it is a little hard to find, but the stuff is awesome with good recommendations of what to do around.
There is a pub crawl almost every night a great pub at the place.
The music from the pub might be too noisy for some, but earplugs are free.
The 12 people bedroom is made of 4 sets beds each of them is a 3 stories beds.
M. L.
Great hostel! Gets a bit loud at night from the bar downstairs, as well as being on Borough High Street, so, it's hard to get any sleep (even with the ear plugs that they provide). Great place to meet people and close to tower of London. 90% of the staff is great! The other 10%...not so much.
A. S.
Slept in a private capsul. Pros: had lots of space and privacy and the various color light options were cool. Cons: USB outlet didn't work, ladder to reach upper bunk was tricky for me, and the bar downstairs and other guests were very noisy. Definitely a party hostel, amazing location though.
H. M.
Excelent stay, Facilities are amazing has eveything your need. 24 hour reception and the team is super helpful and kind.
V. C.
was ok and quite comfortable to stay there but the cleaner came in without knocking. if there’s a DD card (Do not Disturb card), it would be definitely better
T. P.
There's quite a few good and bad things about this place. Bathrooms are super cramped and while you can buy amenities, I feel like built in soap dispensers might be better. There's also no vending machines for simple food or drink if it's late or you want something cheap. They do have a bar and pub area connected which is nice and a location between 2 underground stations which makes life a bit easier.
D. C. R.
Booked a Private room... Everything was PERFECT, A Very nice room with an awesome View (The Shard).... and you get 25% discount on the Food down at Belushi's, and discount on Drinks too.
Private rooms as well as shared dorms....
A backpacker's hostel in a very central location in London (London Bridge)....
Recommended!
A. H.
Very loud. Writing this review at 3 at night, while drunk hostel staff is partying, running, screaming and singing in hallways. Impossible to sleep, given paper thin walls.
Okay for party, but don't stay here, if you want to sleep at night
S. S. (.
Surprisingly good value , lively and excellent location...
j. v. e.
The hotel is nice and modern, also it has a fairly cheap pub just past the reception and it also has a neat little restaurant. Rooms are fairly basic but the bunkbeds that are present are outfitted with two usb ports so you can charge your phone (really handy for mainland Europeans!). Overall good hotel, I do recommend to bring a Pillow from home cause the pillows are kind of ehm... dull but eyy; there have to be some downsides now don't there?
s. c.
Friendly staff, great space to meet people from all over the world. London Bridge tube station is a 5 minute walk from the hostel. Had such a great time. Book your bed on their website and you get free breakfast. Super essential if you were in the bar next door!
O. L.
It is a tidy hostel and the staff is kind. For the price is everything okay
K. L.
Reception was very helpful and friendly (and cute...), located a reasonable walking distance from any touristy site you'd want to see, beds are some of the most comfortable I've had in a hostel, and it's directly attached to a bar. A great choice for sure!
W. T.
Not a bad place. Breakfast was good. However, didn't refresh things like water or milk regularly at all. Bathrooms were semi clean, but not too bad. Beds very comfy.
D. H.
Arrived in London Gatwick, it's about a 45 min ride on the tube to London bridge station. The rooms and facilities were clean enough. The washrooms are cleaned daily. They have a laundry room. I stayed in a 6 person room. Be sure to grab ear plugs. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend this as a place to stay in London.
E. H.
This is truly a backpackers place. i love my room and the location is perfection. its a hippy place, i love the street art on the hallways bathroom are clean and wifi is great. plus its nearby the underground. GREAT value for money and will definitely comeback again.
A. M.
We rented a private room from St. Christopher's village for 4 nights during our stay in London, an all you can eat breakfast was included every morning with the private room (otherwise it would be £3 per person per morning). It's very close to many of the major attractions in London, the rooms are very clean, and the staff was very helpful
J. G.
We went as a group of 7. The Bar staff were friendly . Food was good value for money which was great for a group of students, especially with a Taste London Card. Bill came to £100 for 7 of us. Good selection of real ales. Good atmosphere. Great for a very relaxed, cheap (ish) and cheerful evening.
A. J.
This is a very lively hostel, the bar downstairs was packed every night I was there. The rooms are fairly dense, with three-high bunks, but the facilities were great and the beds were really comfortable.
T. K.
The pancakes are really delicious, and the maple syrup was a very good touch. It is the best pancakes that I ever had. The bacon is juicy and flavourful, it is well cooked. You can all have them at very affordable price. What a treat! Highly recommended place that you must go.
J. L.
This is the third night where some idiot has woken everyone in the hall up at 4:30 am at one of the outer doors of the Oasis because she's forgotten or lost her key. So after banging for about five minutes, someone just lets her in which I'm sure is super safe. Typical dorm rooms. Noisy from the bars (as expected since that's what they advertise but it's really not that bad). Heavy street noise and voices can be heard outside. My biggest issue was that girls would check in at all hours of the night and come into the dorm room making hellacious noise and what not (that was worse than the bar noise). I guess that's to be expected given the dorm room atmosphere but the banging on the outer door is not. Also, the toilets occasionally work (like sometimes they're thinking about flushing but have to cycle through until they can actually flush). The toilet paper hasn't been on the actual rolls the last few days in some of the bathrooms (it's just sitting next to the toilet on top of the trash cans). Shampoo, towels and hair dryer provided so that's also something. Probably good for a night or two but pretty exhausting for more than that. I've gotten some pretty crappy sleep here and I've contemplated just staying somewhere else my last night.
Oh and bring your own lock and make sure it's thin. Mine was too thick and when I went down to ask if I could rent or buy one, they didn't have any (waiting to be restocked). These are small things, I know especially for the cheap price. So again, probably worth it for a night or two. But if you want real sleep for more than that, you might not find it here.
Update from the next night- pretty sure the people upstairs are purposefully jumping off the beds over and over again at 12:30 am. I can handle loud music and the party vibe from downstairs but this is just ridiculous. It's like a damn zoo in here.
W. D.
Great place to stay for the night. Comfortable beds with 2 plugs each and enough showers. For everyone. Could use a quiet space(for reading or doing work) but not the end of the world to not have one.
m. v.
I had a private room with bunk bed. The room is clean but small. No closer for your close but 2 boxes, thet can be locked with your own lock, underneath the bed.
Toilet and showers are clean.
I. O.
What a location for such a hostel that is awesome in the culture and facilities. With Belushi's on the ground floor its an ideal location for travellers. The location is also quite epic which allows us to walk and reach almost all the bars around!
S. K. (.
Great place to stay! Lots of young people and the bar is pretty packed at night. It can get a little noisy, and the showers aren't that great, but hey, it's a budget hostel, what do you expect.
P. G.
Very nice modern atmosphere. They offer £3 continental breakfast that wasnt incredible, but well worth the value. If you stay the night you can also show your key at the bar and get a discount which was very nice.
J.
It was a nice hostel but also very small. The hallways are very tight and the bathrooms are small. But the front desk is extremely nice and accommodating and they have a nice continental breakfast in the morning.
A. C.
I loved it!! One of the best hostels I have ever stayed
R. P.
Saint Christopher's is a really great Hostel. It has been years since I stayed their, but my girls stayed in 1999 and had terrific stay. It has very affordable rates, a great little cinema room and a light "Brekkie!" Generally fun place to stay near heart of London, with enough rules to keep everyone safe.
T. S.
Although it is mid a mega restoration, the reception looks amazing, with funky wall art. We were greeted by a friendly team with great local knowledge. A special mention for David who seem to be everywhere, always with a smile on his face and the right attitude. Good work around and I'll be back again. Also only met Tom bloody Daily Olympic athlete in the bar BIG WIN!
M. Y.
Very good location, 3 minutes to london bridge underground and to famous london bridge
5 minutes walk to borough underground
3 minutes walk to borough market
1 minutes walk, just cross the street to sainsbury grocery store
Comfortable bed with curtain (although its time to do maintenance for the curtain)
Clean toilet
Clean shower room, big pressure for the water hot or cold with shower gel provided. Loving shower here
Hair dryer
Common room
Cooking room
Friendly and fast reception. You need to deposit 2 £ for the key
L. G.
Very nice hostel, but clearly party oriented instead of homey, since its common area "chill out room" is very lacking in amenities, has no self serve kitchen and during our stay of 4 days, the elevators did not work, which is a little bothersome when your room is on the fifth floor and you may be carrying luggage.
b. n. f.
Really cosy pods would definetly stay here again. It was my first hostel ever whilst travelling and it set the bar really high! Staff are reallt friendly and helpful and theres a really good vibe throughout the whole place !!
K. M.
I don't know what you might expect for the price in this part of London but I can’t find a fault the room was great, bathroom was great, the guest I shared with and people I met were super cool and the staff where polite, friendly and helpful. They actually made my trip more enjoyable.
A. A. (.
It would have been 5 because it was lovely, the atmosphere was amazing when I first booked in, but the sound leaked through the floor into the capsules and I had the rudest member of staff in the morning so I had to knock a couple stars off, especially when the ear plugs didn't block out the sound either!
A. A.
Very good experience given the current COVID circumstances. Reception staff member on when we arrived on Tuesday 18th August was very friendly and went above and beyond for us. Would certainly book again.
A. V.
Triple bunks should really be anchored to the wall, in the night I woke up on the top bunk and it felt like I was riding a mechanical bull. Staff are a bit tired of idiots that keep losing keys etc. But they are helpful. Some random was going around knocking on doors but security was quick to get rid of him. Cheapest, best place I could find on short notice, would stay again.
M. F.
Let's see. So you want to party and crash in London with minimal cares, and run into cool people you can instantly make friends with. Check. This place has a hoppin bar every night, solid hostel rooms (I recommend getting a double private one), and a nice roof top loft that all the real savants and extroverts hang out and smoke at late. You can bring your own drinks to the roof....and there is a nice grocery store righr across the street. Easy walk to the river and the museum's. I highly recommend the tate
G. B. (.
The customer service was good. They changed the bedsheets coz someone was sleeping in it(even if it was late night). The breakfast was cold, sausage overdone.(even if it's been advertised as hot meal).
K. S.
Broken toilet seats, broken toilet doors, clogged toilet, clogged hand basin, joke for a pillow - was it a pillow or sheet folded over a few times?
L. C.
Really nice atmosphere, welcoming staff and around the clock top quality customer service. Very inclusive and affordable too :)
P. M.
Good place to stay in London if you are on a budget, full of back packers doing what back packers do, so don't expect too find it peaceful.during my stay a fire alarm went off at 0230 one night and next night our friends north of the border did a fantastic job at causing a disturbance in the dorm and getting thrown out with the assistance of the law. Good times
M. S.
Awesome place with super friendly staff. I don’t even have to mention that it was super tidy and super clean. The only difference between this hostel and a good hotel is number of beds in the room. The beds are not like in hotel, they are essential and simple, though very comfortable. I slept really good and was ready in the morning for jogging around London. Location is very good as you can quickly get to Tate Modern which is my favourite museum. At the hostel you are within 5 minute walk from London Bridge and London Borough Market too. Special thanks to Carlos, who is a real professional in hospitality business and thanks to Nicholas as well. I am definitely going to stay in the hostel again and again. I am not only promising, I am going to make a booking again today after finishing the review. Thanks one more time and highly recommended to others. Truly. Mareks Slegelmilhs.
J. P.
It is what it is, sleep with others is sometime impossible mission because the noise and nasty sounds. But breakfast is fine and beds are warm enough to survive. Great place to save money.
I. B.
Very well located. The bar the to the hostel is very nice and have deals for travelers. Staff is friendly.
I would recommend!
S. S.
Very lively party hostel in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the Thames. It's more on the cheap and cheerful side, rather than having any particular character about it, but I found everyone to be polite, friendly and having a good time.
J. H.
There is a lovely atmosphere and it is reasonably priced. The crowd is slightly older but still friendly with a great feel to it. The prices are very reasonable less than the market pubs meaning you can get more beers in.
M. H.
Beds : Ok, clean, comfortable
Breakfast (included): Crispy oats cereal, cornflakes, whole grain muesli,
toast and whole grain toast with butter & jam,
plain yoghurt and milk,
water and "orange coloured water"
Dorms : 90% calm and polite people, 10% rude drunken party people,
on some nights 100% quiet people
Mice in rooms : yes - but its London - and quite normal!
Noise : street noise - but its ok.
Washrooms : the toilets DO flush - the water amount depends on
how strong you pull the hand gear.
Enough showers and toilets for everyone.
Everything clean and ok.
Resume : cheap (ca 18 pound per person per night),
clean and central and not so much party as expected,
and you need a padlock if you want your belongings locked up
in the room.
J. M. S.
Nice hostel, everything clean. Great bar downstairs. I just wouldn't recommend 33 bed room, too many people with too many smells.
M. S.
Great hostel to stay in. I use this one everytime I go to London. Great location and no issues with the place. Good bar downstairs that usually very busy in the evenings.
S. S.
Great place, so glad your all back @St Christopher's...great service, great people...did I mention great prices? Always stay in a St Christopher's when in London. FIVE STARS PLUS!!!
R. S.
Decent capsule room. Do not recommend if your a light sleeper. Lower floor is a club and toilets/ hairdryers can be heard
D. K.
Location is perfect if you want to look around the sights of London. Just down the road from the London Bridge tube station close by the Thames and the market. You do hear doors closing and other noises but it's not all that bad for the price of the accommodation. Very cheap place for anyone wanting to see London
E. S.
Clean, great location, friendly staff. Would stay again! edit- lowering my review to 4 stars. They charge 3.50£ to store luggage for guests upon check out.. This should be a basic service!
A. S.
The hostel is clean and looks beautiful. The rooms are really nice as well. My only problem was there's no elevator to get your stuff upstairs
A. H.
The St. Christphers Villages makes is defiantly the place to be if you are looking to mix it up with different groups of travellers. the large hotel is a great place to meet new people, relax in its many different hangout areas, drink an amazing beer and go crazy on a pubcrawl. The showers leave a bit to be desired but hey for 15 pound a night, I am not complaining.
L.
Very nice and helpful staff, very awesome pod beds. Not a large sitting room and no kitchen but they have a microwave and laundry.
B. K.
Not bad, the walls are not sound proof so you can hear everything outside but other than that it's a good hostel. Clean and great service.
M. R.
We were at the Dugout for an NFL fantasy draft, and the recent renovation looks great. The service was excellent and there's a good selection of drinks. A great sports bar!
W. D.
Well-kept and clean hostel that frankly beats some of the budget hotels I've stayed at. Its functional, and occasionally there's a noisy backpacker, but relatively speaking for London is good value for money.
S. A.
Good price and great location. I stayed in female dorms. Woke up to find a man in the room at night dealing with a double booking which shocked me but it terms of hostels I've stayed in one of the better ones in london
B. K.
Nice, clean and safe place, 5 minutes walk from Lobdon Bridge. The 1th floor is noizy because it is a party hostel, but if you fall in a sleep before the dj starts all is fine. Many tourist points are nearby.
M. H.
Good hostel, good location, helpful staff, clean rooms and showers, not ideal for solo travellers to meet people because the bar is public and is also a night club, no hostel events other than the walking tour to meet people.
D. A.
I spent 3 nights there with my mother a couple years ago and no problems beyond the noise coming from the pub at night. And some noisy teenagers talking in your room, but you can spect that in any hostel.
V. N.
Good Hostel. The breaskfast is good and the facilities are ok. I missed a kitchen when I stayed there in 2015. I am not sure if they have now a new one.
A. K.
Was ok but was let down by the "free breakfast" no toaster watered down orange and Apple juice but room was nice and clean but bathrooms were new but probably need a regular clean as soo many ppl using the bathroom the state sometimes is really bad
J. L.
Very good downstairs bar and easy to meet people with a good mixer. Beds are comfy and private, but a really really weird smell through the halls and rooms.
E. W.
Not a bad hostel to stay at - good location and lots going on/to do at night. The bathrooms weren't overly clean but the room was nice enough.
Y. T. M.
I stayed in the Oasis, which was comfortable, quiet, and very clean. A little bit noisy if you’re walking through the bar, but you can barely hear it on the 2nd floor.
M. P.
Was traveling with my friend Chris (we're from America) and went there twice because we were staying at the St. Christophers. Great bangers and mash, great fish and chips, and even better waitress. Katie (blonde from Australia), our waitress over the few days we were there, was amazing. We were all supposed to hang out but unfortunately we had to leave the country sooner than expected and she left for Belgium (didn't get her last name). If you are her manager or someone that works there, tell her how great she was, and that well be in London again soon.
H. g.
The staff was amazing, and the bar had a great selection of beers. The rooms were clean.and had built in USB and and convertor (Europe to u.k). Clean bathroom and showers.
v. j.
Definitely a party hostal. People coming in the rooms at all hours of the night. You wont get free breakfast unless you book directly on there site. Fun free tours provided and i met some fun people
J. L. R.
Staying in Christopher's the village was great from the beginning. As i almost stayed in the streets. Açelya and gosia helped me out a lot during my bookings as for my bedroom as for my bus tickets. Sensei at the bar was the best recommending what to drink and esther helped me out once i had a problem w my bed. 5 stars
S.
Great hostel, comfy beds and easy to charge phones and tablets ect. I had a good stay but wish the lift had been working and will stay again
R. M.
I love this hostel! The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, they have specials in the bar for hostel guests, great WiFi, and the rooms are spacious. I'll definitely be using St. Christopher hostels again!
a. c.
It is a five minute walk from London Bridge Station. I'm in a 12 person room. We got assigned beds. We have triple bunk beds. Rooms are clean. The service is good.
D. C.
Decent hostel. Friendly staff. Curtains aroubd every bed for privacy but you have to go thriugh a busy bar to get into the hostel area.
A. G.
The place is located in the heart of downtown London public transportation is all over there's restaurants and convenience stores all over and even a shopping area within about 3 blocks away they have their own bar that only people staying at the hostel can go so it's safe
O. B.
A little bit they have to do to get 5 stars. Curtains on lower beds have gaps near the upper beds stairs. And also this hostel doesn't have kitchen.
M. B.
Amazing place for people on travel wanting to meet new friends. Every night is a party. If you want quiet, go elsewhere because it's loud and exciting even on a Tuesday!
H. T.
The bar was fine DJ was alright. The rooms were triple bunks which was cramped however it was cheap so can't complain too much. It was also kept pretty clean too
K. M.
Good atmosphere. Caring helpful people who work here. Tastiest huge selection of food only minutes away,- at Borough market. Direct train from Gatwick and Luton airports during normal hours. Late at night I had to take train from Gatwick to Blackfairs station, + few minutes on taxi for about 9GBP. Walking would be about 9 minutes, but I promised to my husband NOT to wander at night streets.
Capsule don't have locking doors, only curtain, but it's free large lockers in room, just bring your lock.
A. V.
The location is great, close to many attractions, the 3 layer bunk beds are interesting although I wouldn't sleep on the bottom just in case and the shower's water pressure is great
M. B. d. O.
Awesome place, neat facilitirs, free wifi and great location (London Bridge). Reception is very professional and nice. Still have a few days until my stay is done but so far, so great.
V. H.
A nice hotel, but take it for what it is. Shared toilets and showers are not for everyone. The beds are great, and the breakfast is good.
J. S.
I have not started my other half did, but from what I saw it was very good. Helpful staff easy bag storage and a nice looking bar at the front entrance.
M. F.
Other than the triple-level bunks in which it's impossible to sit up, this hostel is great and has a vibrant, fun atmosphere. Make sure to pack light, there's no elevator!
K. K.
Just the place be to meet people from all over the world. Great Burgers, good beer range. Comfortable capsule beds. Fantastic staff
A. B.
Loses some points for cleanliness. Only has a small lounge, doesn't have its own bar. Decent overall and good location.
N.
Cleanish rooms (bed sheets had some small stains) with friendly staff. Very few bathrooms, and small showers all in one, so expect a queue.
K. M.
Not what the pics showed.... stayed in the 33 room, way overcrowded. I came during football playoffs so the pub downstairs was always packed full. Nice staff overall.
C. H.
Really nice atmosphere! Orla and Isabella were super helpful and friendly!
B. P.
Affordable accommodations with a great location. Definitely a party themed hostel so it can be a bit noisy but great for meeting fellow travelers.
A. M.
Clean beds, reasonable price and good enough bathrooms. The guy there behind the bar went out of his way to help me and a friend check in a bit early (even though he had no obligation to).
G. i.
Stood here for my whole trip here in London, and what can i say.. This place is awesome. Very clean and friendly staff. The whole concept was trully a fun experience. Steps from the underground, conveniently in the center of london and close to eveything.
E. B.
The bathroom and toilet was untidy.
D. B.
Rooms were alright, but the atmosphere and service made the stay great. Also the bar they have some sort of partnership with was a blast.
L. B.
Had a great stay! Very clean and the upper floors are quiet! Very close to London Bridge.
A few nice pubs are around
S. B.
Go to THIS St Christopher's, not the one just north of here. This one is better in every way. The beds have curtains, outlets, USB ports, and reading lights. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 and not 5 is the beds are kind of hard.
A. A.
Is really good located but is a shame you can not stay more than two weeks, I understand for homeless people or people that want to stay months, but me I stay there because I have to work at the shard which is in the corner and it was just 3 weeks, they didn't let me stay the last week... They should listen to the circumstances of each person.and then they can decide if can stay or not... Is busy as well is understandable to be honest this policy...
A. D.
This place isn't just for people looking for to party..they are very accomodating, and you get drink and food deals for staying at the hostel...download the at Christopher's app and book through that and you'll get free breakfast...it a great place, even in the 33 people rooms :)
L. G.
It was amazing I could not believe it better service then the shard tower I could not believe it!!! Reception staff Hassan & Sharon made me feel like am at the comfort of my house.
R. M.
the club was so loud at night that i could feel the bass in my bed, but at least the room was air conditioned and ear plugs were free.
A. F.
Good viewing music musical style and meeting people
L.
Tonight I was on a first date at St. Christopher’s Inn... Following on from a romantic stroll off the river, I didn’t think anything could be more enticing then staring into my date’s eyes over a cold pint of Guinness. Then the music started and everything changed...
H. M.
Clean and nice staff. Rooms were pretty hot though and had poor circulation, also very loud at night because the bar is downstairs below the rooms.
J. A.
Hassan has been really helpful, definitely the best staff, I definitely recommend to have your stay at the Borough Road The Village, I’ll definitely be back again! A+++
J. W.
It is a great place to stay. Breakfast was free. The only thing that was off was that I expected a traditional breakfast with sausage and egg. But that wasn't included.
D. S.
Nice rooms and staff. Big areas to chill and the bar down stairs is not too bad.
K. K.
Cheap, you're there to sleep, not stay at the Ritz and put your feet up to watch TV. Gets the job done. Does kinda smell like piss at times tho
B. H.
Really decent hostel. The location was great too as it was right beside borough market. Definitely would stay here if I'm heading back to London.
K. J.
Nice rooms free laundry and cheap drinks! What more can you ask for. Also they have free breakfast which is Cool.
Y. Y.
Don’t stay here if you are a light sleeper, rooms are above a night club/bar and ear plugs don’t protect against vibrations :( rooms and bathrooms are clean and nice
S. R.
Not a bad place to spend a few nights in London. Party downstairs every night of the week, and the room is soundproofed so you can sleep
D. D.
Great location, good party, bed are not so bad even if there is 30 person. Don't Forget you'r lockers.
B. C.
Great location! Wasn't the cheapest, not by aong shot. Staff were friendly. None of the other guests seemed to want to hang out or chat (which was weird for me)
T. G. W. o. K.
Great customer service!!! Great facilities!!!
N. M.
I loved it!
Nice staff, clean rooms, no noise during the night, great location and great prices.
Nothing to complain about.
E. M.
Beds are great, staff friendly, and location is superb... but expensive to keep your bags there after your stay!
N. B.
Good location. A bit far to walk to all the tourist locations though. Good staff and clean rooms. No complaints here.
i. g.
This bar serves the best pub food ive had in London Bridge for the price. The steak is one of the best ive had anywhere, even in expensive restaurants. The pub is ok for drinking too.
M. A.
Polite reception girl and was good stayed thanks
R. M.
Great location close to tube stations. Rooms are clean. The bar is very sociable.
C. S.
Awesome hostel, beautiful place very clean and smart. Absolutely with big pub in, drink and food cheap.
N. T.
Really good hostel. Had no issues with checking in, facilities etc. & the pub downstairs is brilliant.
M. A. G. C.
Good hostel, bathroom is clean, well located, also there's a pub below the hostel which is always open.
D. H.
Suprisingly there was very low sound coming from the pub than expected but still loud enough to keep a light sleeper awake until it closes, I was located next to the toilet/showing rooms and no sound from them either other than the hand dryer that sounded like a plane engine every time someone dried thier hands..strangly stayed sat and sun , the music was louder on the sun than on the sat.
A. R.
The rooms were fine, but the beds aren't great and the sockets next to the beds weren't working. The service was good though.
C. F.
Great hostel, great staff, good night's sleep and pretty cheap. Will be my go to when around London from now on.
P. C.
Decent venue space for work events. Not seen much else of it, but looks like a fairly good backpacker hostel/bar and sports bar.
C. P.
Great for the price, good bar and nice atmosphere! Not somewhere to go for peace and quiet as you'll either be partying or your roommates will be!
G. A.
Came for drinks only and hanging out with friends. Beet is very reasonably priced (£2-3 for a pint), and they have lots of real ale!
K. N.
Very good food, especially the sunday roasts. Staff is always very helpfull and extremely friendly. Great place to have some quality food in a relaxed atmosphere.
A. N.
Common room very small, no kitchen, only microwave and hot water can be provided. No car picking area.
A. G.
Great for the price and super friendly staff. Shower and bathroom are very small and cramped. Will return
W. T.
Great service and staff, but a bit to pricey for what you get. Matresses in the beds are not good, not for a bad back.
P. L. W.
Good location, rooms cramped and dirty, very loud constant noises from traffic and road starting from 5am daily. Good breakfast.
Z.
Rooms clean, staff is nice and helpful! Weird smell throughout most of the place, but definitely recommend!
S. O.
Nice location! London bridge and the Shard are very close to it. The staff is friendly and the accommodation is pretty good.
S.
The rooms and food facilities are great, but the bath and washrooms were very poor.
m. e. d. v.
Nice environment. Nice staff. A good place to relax for backpackers! Amazing position, clean and modern
M. H.
Everything is great so far, thanks
M. C.
The best hostel! Fair prices, easy to get everywhere, good staff and facilities.
D. B. (.
Fun hostel, great to meet people, large rooms are easy to sleep in because of bed curtains, breakfast every morning
H. O. M. F.
Bathrooms were not so clean, also they need to organize better for breakfast.
J. M. R.
Great ambient, very clean and with a killer bar next to it. The bad thing is that it doesnt have a kitchen to cook.
K. L.
Place is cheap which is nice but be warned if you try to get food after like 12pm you'll be hit up by at least 3 bums that will just walk up to you while your eating and start begging for change.
s. v.
Me and a friend stayed here last night really happy great place clean friendly perfect
Everything we needed
Thanks
L. I.
My bed was not clean.
The service was good. The place was quiet
A. M.
Staff where friendly and bed was comfortable.
S. M. T.
Good facilities and really comfortable place. Also the staff is really kind and makes you felt like being with friends.
b. c.
Cheap drinks, great people. Has a tip jar as a basketball hoop. Great place to stay too.
L. C.
Very good
C. B.
Very nice and clean hostel. Friendly travelers and a fun bar
G. D.
Very good. Staff were very friendly. However the room was very noisy as it is above a pub
M. C.
Clean and tidy and central. Staff were quite rude though. But the hostel itself was nice.
C. B.
Capsule rooms are great and the capsules are very spacious. Lots of events and great people
M. H.
Great location and large, clean showers for once. Rare for many hostels
Q. M.
Did 8 pub crawls on a row. Staff is cool and all the guests there were super nice.
m. c.
Nice and very clean, I live in first floor, downstairs is pub and restaurant, the music a bit noisy
D. D. C.
Great hostel with fantastic staff! Loved my stay there!
S. D.
good location, nice service
M. F.
Great place to stay! Very clean, good service and wonderful reception. Would stay again.
T. D.
Value for money. Nothing to compare to St.Christopher at Liverpool Street station classes above this hostel.
L. B.
Stayed in one of the pods, very cozy, quite and clean. Slightly pricey though!
B. D.
Hard to find as two of these venues are very close to each other. Google maps didnt help. Venue all fine though and comfy enough
A. 9.
For the money you pay, you get a great service. I enjoyed staying at this place!
M. H.
Nice hotel, nice staff, not the most comfortable beds but that's to be expected.
T. D.
Over the years I've stayed here a few times its always welcoming safe and inexpensive
I. M.
The rooms are good, only problem is that the mattreses have stains on them.
N. J.
Much cleaner and more well organised than some of the other st Christophers I have stayed in London
S. A. V.
Good value for money, very close to London Bridge station. It also has 24x7 help desk, which is awesome.
C. L.
Clean, comfortable, and friendly.
A. B.
Great hostel. Very clean with friendly staff and cheap drinks.
P. L.
I only have good word about this place. Cheap, clean, friendly, well located. What do you want more?
F. S.

Best late night bar in London Bridge - good value, excellent/ friendly staff, and great place to meet new people
P. P.
Clean, affordable and comfortable
K. A. L.
Love this hostel! Friendly staff, clean rooms, and great location.
D. M.
Excellent apart from the fact you can hear all the music from the pub below, really needs to invest in soundproofing
T. R.
Good prices and nice rooms. Sadly there was construction work all over the place.
J. D.
Nice hostel with a pub in ground floor. Rooms are clean.
G. W.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff, it was just difficult to sleep with the heat and noise.
C. P.
It's a fun Hostel with a bar underneath. Definitely for a party growd

The staff is great, good breakfast, clean. I'm loving it!
