Here with a larger group and the service and personal attention throughout has been exceptional. Everything from the room to the food are 1st class. The staff are all friendly and acknowledge guests, nothing is too much trouble. Special thanks to Giulia on the front desk. She went beyond what any visitor could expect to adapt and cater for my needs. For anyone to shine here is hard and she really stood out. Great hotel, Thank you.

The service was top notch, nothing less than you would expect at such a prestigious establishment. We stayed in the Royal Suite which was magnificent on the whole. Great sized space, perfect for the birthday dinner with 9 guests. A professional chef was hired to cater for the event and the kitchen was just about adequate. Some of the furniture was little more tatty than expected tho...loose springs coming out of the bottom of the sofa for example.

I went there at the end of Jan 22, with my teen daughter for the LKBENNETT afternoon tea. The hotel is in a beautiful building. The afternoon tea was good too, well presented, in a good ambiance and professional staff. A great place and way to spend few hours.

We had 6 nights in the hotel. Excellent location with easy access to almost anywhere you want to visit in London via the wonderful underground system. You feel this splendour of this hotel as soon as you enter the beautiful Victorian …

First time stay and it was beautiful. Such a gorgeous building full of charm and character. The staff are so lovely and welcoming from the doorman to the reception staff to the house keeping. They were all fantastic and deserve to be …

Wonderful stay and staff ‘in training’ were so professional and friendly. Melissa specifically when we arrived was fantastic. Beautiful room and amenities. Cocktails ‘off menu’ were perfect. Worth treating yourself for high quality. Breakfast buffet surprisingly vegan friendly too

We treated ourselves to a trip to the St Pancras Renaissance for our anniversary and it was really special. The hotel is spectacular and the room was so comfortable and quiet, especially for London! The pool was a really special extra …

We really looked forward to our stay here and some parts of it were lovely, but the 3 star review is based on several bits that didn’t really meet our expectations. The building is clearly beautiful, but make sure you know what you’re booking (rooms on the old part with the famous staircases and architecture, or in the new wing that’s modern but still nicely decorated. We stayed in the new wing and expected this based on the price we paid, but the room was still to a decent size and well appointed to a luxury hotel standard. We didn’t have a great view but didn’t expect one either. Where we felt our expectations weren’t met was when visiting the pool & spa we had to walk through the main lobby bar area in our bathrobes. On checking, this is the correct route, and we saw other people struggling with the same journey, having to weave through masses of people and significant seating, since it’s the main bar for guests and visitors, as well as check in. I would have expected a remodelled 5 star hotel to have put in a corridor from our wing with hundreds of rooms to the wing with the spa! We went for pre dinner drinks and found our first 2 requests (cocktail and wine) were out of stock. The menu isn’t huge so that felt like a let down. And finally, whilst we liked the room, we couldn’t get the air con to go below 23 degrees making it too hot to get a good nights sleep. Lovely bed but just too hot! We also didn’t get any Marriott bonvoy elite status welcome, but did have complimentary water in our room. Overall, it was nice to finally tick this experience off our list, but we weren’t blown away. Paying enough to stay in the older, more elegant wing (without the embarrassing walk in front of 100+ people!) might have been better so I guess you get what you pay for.

Lovely building, shame about the inside
Booked an overnight stay for the beginning of our trip to Scotland. Paid extra for a good quality room.
On arrival we were offered two rooms - one on the sixth floor which we wish we'd taken but we had to wait for it to be ready, or one on the second floor which was ready on our arrival. Mistake.
Room was claustrophobic with cramped furniture - wardrobe up against one side of the bed so no room for a bedside table. No opening windows, no view. Bathroom was clean but smelled strongly of drains. Rest of room was clean and bed was comfortable.
On departure the staff were very sympathetic and gave us a discount on our booking, but this did not make up for the poor start to our break. Couldn't help wondering what we would have experienced if we'd waited for the other room.
Also discovered on our arrival that the old romantic part of the hotel is at the front - our room was in a newer section to the rear. Look carefully before you book.

We only stayed for the one night, but we instantly wanted to book for longer. From the moment we stepped in, to the moment we left, we felt welcomed and looked after. The staff were very personable and professional. All our needs were taken …

We stayed at the Renaissance and had a great time. Our young toddler came with us and she really enjoyed the hotel, the beds and the pool. The location was excellent as it was a short walk or bus from anything we wanted to visit. The staff …

We had a Chamber suite in the main building. The architecture is gorgeous, as you might anticipate, the beds v comfortable and the views stunning. But the furniture looks somewhat tired - dark wood, badly scratched in places (no 174). All …

Service is amazing. Staff are welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Facilities are superb and relaxing. It has a nice ambiance about it especially being in such a busy place in London. The spa facilities and gym are enough for your needs. Treatment is well priced, nicely optioned also very tempting. Food is very good amd drinks are suited. Service in the main hall can be slow but and is not a rushed experience by any means so if you need a quick coffee I wouldn’t recommend it as you could be here a while 😊🥂

Magnificent building that houses this hotel. Situated conveniently next to two London main train stations and a tube station. A very well presented bedroom with everything that you would need. Staff very nice and accommodating. I hope to stay again in the future.

One of the best hotels in North London. Lots of character and historic features. Super accommodating staff. I recommend you stay for the breakfast. It isn't super fancy but it's good relative to the other hotels I've tried during this pandemic.

We were really looking forward
To our stay here. Amazing building sadly let down by the level of service and the fact that some of the facilities were undergoing renovation.
Breakfast was poor. We had to wait over 10 minutes to be seated. The bar table we were sat at hadn’t been prepared. We had to ask for cutlery. The cooked breakfast from the buffet was cold. Our tea and coffee never arrived.
You can do a lot better for the money.
A.
Amazing building, great location, room is lovely. But every time we went to the dining area we were let down. The hosts were useless and left everyone waiting despite plenty of empty tables. They needed prompting to even wipe down the tables with the disinfectant. Shame really because the wait staff were perfectly good.

The wow factor of the building and location are worth a premium, and the spa and pool is unsurpassed for a central London hotel. Views from rooms are limited. The rooms are very basic (standard Marriott fare) with no flashes of opulence or …

As Americans traveling to London for pleasure in September, we stayed once again at the St. Pancras Renaissance.
The front desk staff was courteous and tried to help as much as they could. …

The building is highly atmospheric but the room I viewed was too average, probably because the hotel was fully booked. Spa is exceptional and highly recommended for a busy international traveller.

It's an okay hotel, looks fancier than it is. Service is average, no one ever answers the phone when you need something. I stay here mainly because it's close to the office. Extremely disappointing Marriott Bonvoy experience with benefits essentially non-existent (here Marriott is more to blame than the hotel per se). Also, incidentally ordered a steak for room service this time, and it was one of the worst steaks I ever had; supposedly "medium rare", the texture was like plastic that you keep on chewing but can't swallow - I had to take several bites out again due to this...I'll probably come back anyway since the other Marriott across the street is even worse, and the nicer (despite being less "luxurious") Hilton is a much longer walk to my work location.
M. G.
Used the place a lot before. Nowadays somehow every table has a reserved sign on., even when not so busy. Again food menu is limited, . Popular for afternoon tea, very busy. Hotel guests get first chance
S.
Slightly disappointing stay considering the cost. No automatic cleaning, breakfast didn’t meet expectations with several food items in short supply. The staff tried their best despite being short staffed although the Porter managing luggage excelled and the lady allocating breakfast tables was really efficient and nice.

Great experience in an architecturally beautiful hotel sitting atop St. Pancras Station. Super convenient to the Eurostar. Several Great restaurant options in the area and King's Cross as well. …

I'm massively disappointed by this supposedly 5-start hotel. There's nothing here that differentiates it from any random 3-star hotel - my supposedly "Superior" room was plain, with an uncomfortable bathtub and no toilet brush. The wifi didn't work and room service failed to arrive on one of the days. Location is pretty good and the building is gorgeous from the outside, but the inside layout is somewhat iffy - I had to walk super far to my room.

Megan and I had a wonderful stay at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel - the staff were all very kind and made our stay very enjoyable. Would like to recognize Melissa for going above and beyond for us. Well situated hotel, will certainly be returning.

From the moment I walked into the reception area, after a horrendous experience of ill mannered rudeness at Kings Cross Station. The atmosphere of calm respectfullness was a joy to my heart. The room is very comfortable, bathroom very well appointed, even grab rails in the shower/bath. Not something you find in a lot of hotels. A sensible addition to any bathroom but more so for those of us who have mobility problems. The lovely lady who checked me in, showed me to my room was delightful. She showed me how to use all the various menus in the TV. Even helped me to make my room service choice for supper. Excellent that was too. I think I shall have to think of reasons to come back again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable hotel. Breakfasts were good, we had afternoon tea one day which was lovely (especially the cakes). We enjoyed a dip in the pool in the wellness centre. Staff were polite, friendly and efficient. It was a great base for a few days in London

Spent our anniversary at this elegant hotel in London. Absolutely loved the service right from the start. The staff who welcomed us, Miy-Y, was warm, friendly, and helpful. She briefed us clearly and made sure we knew everything we needed to know. The lobby restaurant was one of my faves. It was nice and sleek so we had some cocktails there. Was sad that the cocktail I wanted (Potio Fumum Magica) wasn't available at that time but I appreciated the alternative offered by the bar tender (Discover Amsterdam). The calamari we ordered was also delicious. We also relaxed at the St Pancras Spa. I loved the ambience and the relaxing atmosphere--until a family with 3 noisy children came in. Thankfully, we had an hour or so of quiet time before the children came making a splash. The changing rooms at the spa were clean and well-appointed. The Dyson hairdryers were amazing. As for our room, it was spacious and fabulous. I had a very restful slumber. Breakfast was generally OK. Wasn't able to get an omelette since there was no one attending to the egg station at that time. Regardless, I had a good meal to start the day at a very relaxing place.

Good location , just near st Pancras international station , Eurostar, king cross station, walking distance to London Euston station …

Beautiful old station hotel with atrium in the middle. Impeccably restored.
We had supper. The fish and chips were really tasty, the chips were chunky. The drinks were well presented. The main restaurant is still closed, so quite awkward to eat in the bar with low tables, but the surroundings make up for it. No comments on the accomodation, as I didn't stay there.
A.
You are paying for the wonderful building and location. We expected something luxurious for this price, but the room was comfortable, the bathroom and toiletries ordinary, and breakfast buffet average or less - pretty much as you would find anywhere else. the staff, however, were exceptional!

I used the spa on two different occasions and each experience was better than the first. A very helpful and polite service was received from Ashley on the spa reception. Stunning building and setting. Let down by poorly trained and low staffing levels (Sept 2021) Breakfast is best avoided as its a poorly serviced buffet style one, quite expensive. We where told the bar closes at 10.30 on a Saturday? Took ages to get service in the bar but great drinks when we finally got them. Bit disappointed and prob won't return as better options close to it.

Fabulous hotel, excellent staff who are very accommodating. Extensive buffet breakfast worth the cost. Comfortable beds, quiet rooms and floors. Highly recommend and will return.

The restaurants seem to be the main attraction at this hotel. Rooms are a little dated but clean enough and well appointed for a short stay at least. Price a bit high for a room without a bath though. Obviously location is very convenient for travel.

This is a beautiful hotel in a super location, with lovely big rooms. We got a good rate but turns out this was probably because most of the dining facilities were closed. Food served only in main lounge area, including breakfast, and this was disappointing.

It's such a stunning building, tastefully renovated and the rooms... Just remarkable, they just won't build anything like it again... I mean, train station hotels? Harks back to a golden era of travel, only issue with my visit? The Booking Office restaurant was closed (grrrrrr) for renovation... Would have been given the full 5* if it was open... It's amazing... The space and design and decor - they better hadn't mess with it... But they are renovating and so it could go either way... There was nothing to renovate... Hmmmm
A.
I have lived in London on and off for many years and saw this hotel in its abandoned state and then learned that it had been revived and put back in service. I had to stay. The building is absolutely stunning and I will never stay anywhere else when I visit London.
T.
It was a magical stay in a place with magical connections. The decoration and detail in the building is unique and adds to the feeling of being away from the everyday world and in a place of comfort and relaxation. The staff go above and beyond to help and provide a warm welcome.

The 2 doormen who were there when I collected my passengers were very helpful and not like the vampire like one who had the cheek to ask for money for waiting !!
Top guys 😁

Dined at the Booking Room wonderful building. Food OK service very very slow. Staff are very stretched.
P.
In spike of the Pandemic and the closing of the Booking Office (Bar and Restaurant), the quality of the food and service in the main room (Reception) was surprisingly good. The rooms have their same excellent quality as before.

Booked free flowing champagne afternoon tea, got English sparkling wine from Chapel Down! I assume that this was a COVID rationalisation? Food was excellent as was the environment.
A.
Lovely stay. Had a room upgrade, which we really appreciated. All staff were very attentive and friendly and they all wear their masks correctly! Love the app to order room amenities, which was handy when we ran out of shampoo. Chelsea at the spa was especially brilliant when I had my treatment. My partner had someone else and was unfortunately less impressed. Francesco looked after us in the Hansom and was fantastic. He has a great memory for seeing guests again the next day and really knows how to look after you just the right amount. Looking forward to staying here again.
J.
We stayed three nights in suite 529 for our 25th wedding anniversary. We were disappointed as we wanted to feel special but we felt the service was lacking. There were numerous niggles so we don’t feel it was worth the money.

I booked this room for a friend and her son as a special gift. I messaged the hotel to see if they could make a fuss and boy did they deliver! An unbelievable memory making trip, thank you! …

I was blown away by this hotel. I wish I could live here full time. Amazing experience, amazing customer service, amazing food. Can't wait to be back.

For our first break since lockdown we couldn't have chosen better. The hotel was as special as we hoped it would be, fabulous facilities, lovely staff in an exceptional venue, can't wait to come back !!
R. G.
Great hotel with some fantastic architecture. Great selection of cocktails and friendly staff. Breakfast was good but rather unusual seating options.
D.
The hotel is great, the staff were really friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately due to Covid, not all the amenities were open which did reduce our enjoyment somewhat but, we still enjoyed it.
N.
Takes ages to get served with drinks
Takes ages to get a coffee in the morning
Tables are not cleaned as often as they should
The finer attention to detail isn't at this hotel
A. L.
Very nice hotel and wonderful staff! New recently open restaurant/bar was a great place for dinner and drinks.
S.
Our third stay and it will not be our last. It is a beautiful hotel with excellent staff. However there were not enough staff on our recent stay and breakfast service was chaotic, very unusual for St Pancras.
C.
Hotel looks nice, but poor reception service, overcharged on car parking that I didn’t use and a hotel bar that only stays open to 10:30 is a bit average. …
J.
Very pleasant stay .
All staff where very helpful especially the booking in staff on arrival and the other staff on the desk always going the extra mile to make our stay right .
Thankyou we will be back
S. K.
The bar area has changed, is much better. Feels very spacious so safe from a covid point of view. And the staff are great, friendly and eficient.
E.
Anne and her team took very good care of me. The porters were especially very helpful. The rooms are impeccably clean.
D.
Having looked forward to visiting this hotel we felt very let down by the range of restaurant and bar facilities. The one bar that was operating was not able to provide us with a table - we were guests at a 4* hotel and we were not able to have a drink in the bar.
P.
I have been staying here regularly for more than 10 years for both business and leisure and the building’s wonderful architecture and the attentive staff never disappoint. Great settings for business get togethers and to relax when I can take time off. Most definitely my “go to” hotel when in London.
L.
Right now, the hotel is going through some extensive renovations - so the accommodations may not be the most luxurious - but the Spa continues to be a huge selling point to spending a day or two relaxing and recovering at St Pancras.
D.
Disappointed to find out that the Chambers Club was closed. We were not advised as such when booking. This detracted from the overall quality of our recent stay at the hotel.
