Thank you to all hotel staff for such a lovely stay, the hotel is amazing , very clean and there’s nothing negative that I could say about the hotel or our experience.
It’s a such a great location which made everything really accessible and we were able to do lots of activities including walking , underground , shopping , museums during our short stay, covering lots of different parts of the city.
I would like to mention your employee, Mo. He was really polite, helpful and professional in assisting us, he made us feel very welcome during our stay. Mo is definitely a credit to your hotel and to the team. All of the reception staff were lovely and helpful.
We look forward to coming back to the hotel in the near future.

Location is excellent. Right across from Gloucester station on Piccadilly line, easy access to London and Airport. Hotel is old, floor is uneven with noise while walking. TV is small and not many channels to offer. AC is either not working or too noisy when turned on. I had to shut off AC and used a portable heater to keep warm at night. Changed room 2x due to TV not working and AC not warming up, when got to 3rd room, simply gave up trying. Staff was nice enough to offer free breakfast for next morning to compensate for all the hassle. They tried making it right, but for an old hotel, it's just what it is.

I have used to stay here for couple of times and I love it every time. The location is very comfortable, right next to a tube station, very nice area, lots of opportunities for shopping. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Very nice place if you would like to spend relaxing holidays or a weekend with your family and friends. Definitely going to come back

The hotel is in the perfect location. Right across from the Gloucester Tube station. There are tons of food places to go to around the hotel area too. The hotel has a lot of charm. The staff was very friendly. Yes the room could be a little bigger. The convenient location and the friendly staff and the hotel is so charming. There are super markets very close by. I wish the hotel had more information about history of the property. I highly recommend this place to stay at.

A highlight of London! Where to start: from the time of check-in to the morning of check-out, I have not been given such grand reception like I have received from the extraordinary hotel staff, exceptionally understanding managers, and extremely insightful food staff, in such a long time. I cannot wait to return to London, because I will know where to receive excellent customer service. The food photographs of the breakfast bar and afternoon tea is better to see in person. Trust me!

Disappointed by the service we received both at check in and in the bar. Room was lovely, nice bathroom and bed etc but had a terrible hairdryer that kept cutting out and when i complained i was told they are all like that madam, its a safety feature. So if you are planning to stay here and have long hair allow and extra 10 mins or take your own dryer! Breakfast was great though

Great location, Gloucester Tube station just across the street, shops, pubs, takeaways a stones throw away. Walking distance from National History Museum. Room in good condition and had everything we needed. Only minor issue would be that the room was quite cold at night, but nothing a cardigan couldn’t fix 😊 Would definitely stay again in the future, thank you!

My wife and I have visited London many times to go to shows/exhibitions etc. I wish we had found Bailey’s Hotel sooner.
It is comfortable, relaxed and very convenient. The staff is v helpful and friendly. Bailey’s has gone straight to the top of our list and we’ll definitely stay there on our future visits to London.

Honestly I can’t express how beautiful this hotel is. After a very stressful start to our trip (arriving at our initial booked hotel only to find mould up the windows and blood on the sheets!) we walked out of our previous hotel with nowhere to stay. We found Baileys and from the start they accommodated us with no notice required, the front desk staff (especially Oliver) were like angels - so understanding and helpful and reassured us we were at the right place, they looked after us so wonderfully.
The room was spotless, comfortable and had tea/coffee/water and toiletries all waiting. There was even a small fridge which was great as we were staying for a couple of nights. Lovely shower and lots of wardrobe space with ironing board and iron.
The location was just so convenient, with Gloucester Road Station a stones throw away across the road and a 5 minute walk to the Natural History Museum and V&A. We walked into Knightsbridge with ease to Harrods etc too. Lots of little eateries everywhere too.

I had an amazing time at this hotel ,the room we were staying was clean and comfortable with a nice view . The receptionist Maria was really friendly and helped me find a room that was suited for me and during my stay. I totally recommend this place , I will definitely visit again .

Very nice hotel. The staff are friendly. I give 100 stars 🌟 for the breakfast staff. Work really hard and so pleasant.
Room is nice, comfy bed. Few things I say I complain about. The room was very cold. The windows are single pain and old. So there was a breeze and the cold coming through. I tried putting the heating system on and nothing much. Took ages to come on. Then the Radiator in bathroom hardly heated it either. I have fibromyalgia and the cold really hurts my joints. If I knew it be this cold I would have brought a jumper. As there was a floss that someone used on our bedroom floor when came in.
But part from that the room was nice. Beautiful decorated hotel.
We also went to the restaurant that is in breakfast room. Have to say I was greatly disappointed with it. The service was shocking. We waited over 30 mins to be served drinks or food. Then waited 15+ mins for my drinks. Food was tasty. But I was shocked at service. They was more interested in helping this table with about 8 to 10 people. Couldn't do enough for them and some others. I don't think I eat there again. So give them 🌟 4 stars for food and no stars for service.

Friendly staff
Excellent hotel , it is definitely made special by staff , everyone is very welcoming, professional and warm. Location is perfect and the most comfy beds . Breakfast was delicious , variety was great , the bar and lobby is not the biggest but it’s really cosy.

I stayed at the property for a weekend away. The staff were very professional, polite, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and as is the case in London, the communal areas are very grand but the rooms a bit underwhelming.
K. U.
The staff were lovely. Please let them know they were appreciated. The building was charming and was a great price for the location. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The sheets were good quality and crisp but not over starched. The lotions and soaps were nice enough that I actually had to look up the brand to buy some. My one gripe would be the coffee in the room. Upgrading to a better instant would make a TON of difference. Otherwise this was quite a nice hub for our stay. Many thanks.

Wonderful Edwardian hotel. Staff extremely friendly, and efficient. Excellent restaurant Bugis. Authentic Singaporean food. A must stay, for a traditional English style hotel. A special mention for reception team.
M. T.
The hotel is good value for money. The downside is as a hotel guest you can't get a drink after 11pm. I was there on a Saturday night and questioned this, the duty manager said it is a council policy.

We had a great one night stay recently at The Bailey's Hotel, with the staff, the room and the whole experience being very good.
I could not fault the decoration of the hallways or our (Luxury Double) room, which was large and well kept. There was some noise from the traffic 5 floors below, but this is central London. However, the air-recirculation for heating/cooling was a little too noisy when stopping and starting - with hindsight we should have just left it on all night as background noise. Oh, and the fridge was ridiculously noisy despite being in a cupboard and being empty. I don't understand why they would waste energy cooling an empty fridge all day, every day?
Breakfast was excellent, with a great choice of hot and cold food, plus options for those with a gluten allergy.
Overall this is a great hotel in a fantastic location for the west side of London. We would happily stay here again.
G. J.
Loved every second of our stay !! The staff are helpful and can’t do enough for you. Location is amazing and very close to everything you could need, also just a cross of a road to the tube !! Would definitely stay here again if we have the chance
M. N.
Wonderful experience with wonderful staff. Excellent hotel restaurant with options for a diversity of dietary needs. Luxurious atmosphere but not overly formal. It was also beautifully decorated for the holidays.

My wife and myself stay at The Bailey's due largely to its great location - especially if you're approaching from the West (M4 or Heathrow). It's directly opposite Gloucester Road tube station which is on the District/Circle/Piccadilly Lines; there's also underground parking 3 mins away. The hotel is inside the ULEZ charging zone but outside the Congestion Zone - which means that if you're driving the overall trip costs are reduced. The Hotel offers good value-for-money and doesn't feel like part of a bland, global, 'I could be anywhere in the world' - it's very British in style. Rooms are ok - as are the breakfasts; although there are plenty of options for coffee and food very close-by. Shout-out to Oliver on Reception and Michele on Reservations. In summary, this hotel offers a very good base to explore London.

Great room, comfortable beds, lovely view, nice breakfast, excellent location which was close to our destination and parking available as well,Maria from the reception was really friendly and polite ,managed to help us with all the queries during our stay to the hotel.
Wonderful experience.

Stayed at your hotel in 2018 and was looking forward to another visit. Room was nice size but at the end of the hall, navigating double doors and numerous levels with steps not ideal with large luggage. First level room still had street noise. Unable to close curtains (they were torn at the top already) meant glare from street lamps at night. No housekeeping service performed, had to request fresh towels. Staff at breakfast was outstanding with their level of care and service!
C. B.
Excellent hotel with friendly and efficient staff, in a great location. We had a couple of issues in our room which weren't resolved by the time we checked out, but this did not take away from an enjoyable stay.
We would certainly return to The Baileys.
S. J.
I was not happy with the original room allocated to me. However, they gave me a larger room with a bath tub which I was extremely happy with because I know at this price point you are lucky to find a hotel that meets all of your criteria. I did choose this hotel because of its location however there is a lot of external noise if you like to sleep with your windows open. I imagine if you shut them you wouldn't hear street or traffic noise.
E. K.
Imagine getting off the all night flight, getting on the tube, exiting the tube station and across the street was your hotel. You walk in at 7 am and drop your luggage with the promise of a room at 10am, and it was. Such was our experience. The hotel itself is an old traditional european hotel. The rooms are nicely appointed and serviceable. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. The area is out of the craziness of central London, but still is convenient to transportation, a variety of pubs,, restaurants and tourist sites.
Our only ding was in four days our room was never cleaned or refreshed. I don't know if this was a covid policy but it was not communicated. If we asked for more coffee or towels they came, but we never came back to a refreshed room.
j. c.
Noise from the kitchen ventilation was very noisy meaning we couldn't open the windows and A/C system was ineffective and also very noisy.
This made the room very stuffy.
Location of hotel excellent with tube station being across the road and staff were attentive. Would visit again but I would want to confirm room before next stay.
Room service did not clean room when we returned after a day out. Had to request toilet rolls and tea bags.

This is the second Millennium Hotel we have stayed in recently and in neither has decaffeinated coffee been easily available at breakfast time - although your staff did their best to find some which they eventually did. It is remarkable in this day and age that this is not a given; my husband HAS to have decaffeinated coffee - I did not dare ask for decaffeinated tea! It would be interesting to know your stance on this especially as sachets of it are available in the rooms.
We have stayed in the Gloucester Rd area many, many times and after nights out at the theatre or The Royal Albert Hall have always stopped on the way home for a drink at Bailey's. We think this is a lovely bar to end the evening in. How much more sensible we thought - to stay there. Not so.... on both the Saturday and the Sunday night when we got back from the theatre at just gone 11:00pm, the bar was closed even for residents AND no room service was available.
We asked why not - the reasons given by a number of staff we asked were varied, inconsistent and frankly implausible. Amongst these were the council had banned it, there were not enough staff and the manager's religion meant he couldn't handle alcohol. And as far as room service was concerned, we witnessed breakfast being delivered the next morning so there can have been no reason for it not to be delivered in the evening. It would be interesting to hear your views on these observations.

Hotel is absolutely beautiful. Old period property. Lift to all floors .staff are very accommodating. Polite and respectful. The room was clean with fresh towels. You have plenty of plug pockets and USB charging points . Test all applicants in the room the work . The fridge didnt seem that cold but not an issue as we only stopped 1 night. Only notice was from air conditioning. But again not an issue .
A. R.
Absolutely perfect location for a family trip, as the hotel is right next to Gloucester Road underground station and not even 10 minutes walk to the museums.
Family Room was a great size, with 2 double beds and more than enough space for a travel cot.
Staff were extremely helpful at all points.

Recently modernised hotel with all the standard you would expect of a 4 star quality hotel. Rooms were open, very clean and comfortable with a very modern bathroom. The staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful.
However, the food and beverage for a hotel of this standard was disappointingly very poor, especially breakfast and the coffee & tea options. I would recommend you go outside as you have a lot of choice on your doorstep. The management will need to completely re-appraise their whole food and beverage offering to fall in line with the service and quality that you would expect.

An enjoyable stay in a beautiful hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly, and fixed the TV and replaced the fridge within 15 minutes of letting them know. They brought an ice bucket full of ice to cool our wine which had been in the non working fridge. Very comfortable bed and decent shower. It's a shame that the TV doesn't have any catch up TV only live channels. Location is excellent, near to Gloucester road tube station and a short bus ride to Kensington gardens and museums.
The breakfasts were very tasty. I didn't realise that you could get scrambled egg on request until the last morning. The scrambled eggs are very good!
The only thing that was a bit strange was we had booked the Celebration package with a bottle of wine and chocolates. When it was delivered the chocolates were a Terry's chocolate orange. Not what I was expecting in a 4 star hotel. Maybe they had run out of decent chocolates and nipped across to Tesco's. Anyway, everything else was excellent.

The staff were charming and helpful.
However ,I was a little more than bemused by the titles of rooms.Super De Luxe. And so on who do the Bailey Hotel think they are fooling.? Although beds and linen were good quality .The rooms were not much different to Premier Inn.

We spent Saturday 18th of September at the Baileys Hotel for a joint 50th birthday celebration and it was amazing! The location is perfect for sight-seeing, and the hotel is gorgeous! The staff are professional and delightful! the room was beautiful, clean and well decorated. Breakfast the next morning was plenty and a great variety! We will definitely be back again!

Another fabulous stay at the Bailey's. Front desk and concierge are top notch! Helping with all queries and requirements during my stay.

Lovely hotel with good service. Room was a little small but in very good condition, food (evening meal & breakfast) was excellent and general ambiance was fantastic.
I would definitely book to stay in the hotel again.
M. M.
Very happy with the hotel - excellent location - in gorgeous Kennsignton, next to Tube, Hop on - Hop off stop, museums; good pub and a Sturbucks across.
Rooms are good size for London; clean; decent breakfast, friendly staff.
Houskeeping is availble on demand only.
Potential issue for an elderly or limited mobility person - bath tub access is not easy and safe. Otherwise - definitely a good value for money - next trip to London - will book the same hotel.
D. W.
Very pleasant stay. Good sized room and very comfortable. Would use again when in London

The location of this hotel is great and first impressions were very good. Reception waiting times seemed quite long. The check in process in particular seemed to take quite a bit of time.
The room was very nice and well equipped. We particularly liked the fridge in the room. Our room wasn't serviced at all during our 3 night stay, which is completely understanable in the current circumstances, but we were not told this would be the case on check in. Breakfast was good, but not much variety. It would have been nice to have had a choice of pastries and some different breads to toast.
The hoteal seemed generally clean, with the exception of the disabled toilet, which i had to use after check out (as a key card is required for the other toilet facilities). This was absolutely disgusting. Extremely dirty and i'm not taking about a couple of days worth of grime, more like a couple of weeks. There was needless to say no toilet roll or hand towels.
All in all we had a good stay but not sure we would come back again as it didn't quite live up to its grand status

This is my second stay at The Bailey’s Hotel. This hotel is a stunning building, both inside and out. Old world charm with modern amenities. I stayed in a Family Luxury room which was enormous and beautifully decorated with high ceilings, ceiling to floor windows with draperies, a desk, cabinet, huge TV, nice big hallway with closets, ironing board and iron and a wonderful bathroom with fantastic walk-in shower with rainfall shower head and handheld shower. Some hotels have generic rooms which to me are soulless, but not this hotel. This room was so warm and inviting. You get a coffeemaker, coffee, milk, biscuits, etc. While the hotel ran out of biscuits and milk near the end of my stay, there is a Tesco and a Waitrose directly across the street, so it was no issue at all to grab some biscuits and milk for the room. In fact, the location of this hotel is so perfect that it is not only directly across the street from the Gloucester Road tube station with the District, Piccadilly and Circle lines, but also up and down Gloucester Road are grocery stores, restaurants, shops, laundry, Starbucks, Pret A Manger, etc. It is walking distance to the Museum of Natural History, Kensington Palace, Kensington High Street, Harris’s and King,s Road (Plus much more). I love the hustle and bustle that is always outside yet the rooms have double glazed windows so it’s very quiet. I loved that my room faced the street so I could watch what was going on. The room has great heat as well as air-conditioning in the summer. While the rooms are not serviced every day because of Covid, you can request your room to be serviced every third day which worked out fine. Anytime I needed extra towels, toiletries, extra coffee etc. I just asked the front desk and it was there immediately. I loved this hotel so much that I extended my 5 night stay to 16 nights because I couldn’t bear to leave. This review would not be complete without my deepest thanks to all of the staff who are always smiling and helpful, and most especially Cherise at Reception, who did so much to get me the best possible rate and secure the exact room I wanted, to Mo (Mohammed) who was also so helpful, Gary at the Concierge who was always so cheerful and helpful (as was was the other concierge but I’m so sorry I didn’t get his name), and also my thanks to the general manager Kim Tian because of the wonderful way she runs this hotel. If there is any issue at all all you need to do is talk to the front desk and it is solved. My only criticism, and I hate to even mention anything so silly, is that I didn’t think the breakfast was worth the money but there are so many places to eat and have breakfast around the hotel that it is not a big deal. On my last stay pre-pandemic the breakfast was fantastic and I am sure it will be again in the future. For me, no trip to London will ever be complete without a stay at The Bailey’s Hotel.

Stayed for for the second time from 6th-9th September. This hotel is in an ideal location just opposite Gloucester Road tube station and is one of the oldest hotels in London.
I was really impressed by this hotel upon arrival and received a friendly and efficient check-in. As I had opted for the celebration package, I was given a free upgrade to a deluxe room and received a bottle of wine and chocolate in my room. The staff were attentive, helpful and efficient. Special shout out goes to the general manager Kim Tain who did her upmost to ensure that my stay was amazing and had remembered me from my previous visit. She even made the effort to come over while I was checking out to ask me about my stay, which I was really impressed with.
The breakfast service was efficient and the full English breakfast was good. I however found the bacon to be bland and greasey and thought that the continental breakfast selection could have had more verity. Staff were all wearing masks in the breakfast hall and contact free full English breakfast was provided. This was a great improvement from my 1st visit.
The room was spacious however cleaning could have been improved as they appeared to be a cupple stains on my sofa and a few crums on the carpet. The room however had a nice traditional interior in keeping with the historic building and the bathroom was lovely with a specious bath.
Overall this is a beautiful historic hotel, at a reasonable price in the heart of Central London with lovely staff and an amazing management team. I would highly recommend this hotel especially given that they have made improvements since my 1st visit. Also check out the ornate staircase and the stained glass windows, they are beautiful!

Mixed bag. Great location, nice lobby room was fine, on the smaller size, but nice enough apart from no side table to one side of the bed. The main quibble was the restaurant, booked at 5pm as has theatre at 7.30 service was very slow dispite it not being busy, just seemed to take forever, other diners were trying to get waiters attention but were being ignored. Had to leave most of desert as had to rush to get train. Breakfast was simular, had to wait to be seated, we waited to be offered tea/coffee and aftwr 10 minutes asked for some, twice, on the 3rd attempt, to the same waiter, my partner was given coffee, after asking him for a clean cup, he walked off before he offered me some! The help yourself breakfast was served to us, which was slow and frustrating and as like warm, no gluten free options. Breastfast for me is normally the highlight of a hotel stay, but this left us unforfilled and frustrated. The hospitally industry has suffered recently and is getting back on its feet, but some improvements need to be made to the restaurant area to keep on the ball and to read the room better
L. L.
Excellent location was next to the tube. Great restaurant close by. Walking distance to hyde park. The rooms were rather small. The very small bathroom was the only part which I didn't like. But all clean and very nice. Service excellent.

Stayed here for 3 nights in August. Lovely hotel short walk to the museums and a 1 minute walk to the tube. Staff are friendly and courteous. Breakfast was buffet style and there was a great selection from cereal to fresh fruit to toast and preserves to the full English, fantastic. Room was lovely, bed comfortable, shower hot, air-conditioning, soft towels. The only negatives were, our room wasn't made up while we were there and we had to ask at reception for more tea and milk for the room each day (which they gave us straight away). When I asked if there was a reason the rooms weren't done, apparently we should have been asked when we checked in if we were happy having people in the room touching things in the current climate-which we completely understand, however we werent asked. Not a huge problem I can live with making my own bed. The other negative and probably the more annoying was the light over the desk didn't work properly. After putting it on once if flashed on and off continually so had to remain off, this made one side of the room quite dark especially with the curtains pulled. Between us we mentioned it to 3 different people on reception who said they would see to it. Maybe it was another covid thing and would be sorted between room changes, but this wasn't stated if it was the case. Upon checking out we were asked if everything had been ok, so mentioned the light not being fixed. Hence 4 stars. That's said we would happily stay here again and would recommend.

Staff very welcoming and helpful , receptionists were very professional and helpful. Really enjoyed the food and will definitely be back.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights at the end of August. The frontage was suitably grand, tucked away from main road and within a stones throw from a Waitrose and Tesco, cafe's and small shops on the Gloucester Road. On arrival, our room was not ready, so we were given a complimentary drinks voucher for the bar. This was a wood panelled affair, comfortable and with an award winning restaurant adjoining it.
Once our room was ready, we went to it, but unfortunately it was obvious that it wasn't clean, as there was a drinks bottle on the desk and various other telltale signs the room had been used. However, the hotel immediately apologised and gave us another room that was fine - clean and unused. It was bank holiday and they were shortstaffed.
Our stay was fine after this with no other hiccups; the bed comfortable, hotel clean and staff friendly.

Beautiful hotel lovley locations staff very friendly. Breakfast is good and very tasty would definitly stay again

Very efficient staff welcoming and helpful.
A big THANK YOU to the waiting staff at breakfast this morning. You all did a fantastic job and nice to see some fresh and young faces getting along in the industry. So Thank you.
I. B.
Our Classic double was nothing more than a single room with a queen bed. We luckily managed to swap for a bigger room, however the overall service during the stay couldve been more friendly and welcoming.
H. H.
Wonderful hotel in a fab location. We had a premium level room and it was lovely. Absolutely everything we hoped for and more. Would 100% stay again.
T. W.
The photos of the rooms on the website do not live up to expectations. If I did return I would request a room on level 5 (with more light) not a side view room. Rooms do need a revamp
M. C.
Great! Across the road from Tube station or buses. Lovely rooms. Not bothered by staff but they are helpful when you need something. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you!
N. S.
Great location with large clean rooms with modern bathrooms. Nice soft sheets and fluffy towels. Complimentary coffee, tea and water. Simple but tasty breakfast. The only complaint was that the air con was loud and did not seem to cool the room enough. It was a very hot few days though. We look forward to coming back!

Amazing hotel, very clean room. Lovely staff and comfy beds.
Definitely coming back again!

The hotel is conveniently located in front of the Gloucester Road tube station. The hotel is very clean and spacious. The bar terrace was open, shame it was raining when I stayed. Staff were friendly, greeted me with a smile. The night reception staff, Chris, was very helpful. Early in the morning, he personally delivered my breakfast in my room with a warm greeting. All staff are eloquent and professional. Will stay again
V. T.
Rooms are much smaller to how they are shown in the pictures. Poor view, lift takes ages and very noisy. Do not recommend.
L. D.
Perfect hotel on in the hart of Kensigton. And you have evertyhing around you from grocery store, Sturbacks, Burger King, local pub and perfect bakary shop on the oposite side of steet. Ten minutes walking distance to Harrods as well. Tube station Glocester Road just in front of the hotel with two lines. What more to have in London for the resonable amount of money....
A. R.
Staff were fabulous, slept really well. We only stayed one night, but I would certainly return.
K. L.
Awful afternoon tea was dreadful bread dry scones rock hard woken at 11pm to be at 8am in the morning no information at all in rooms about anything room ok but not enogh toiletries in very very disappointed
A.
Stayed 2 nights in London with my family - 2 adults 3 children. Things to improve on would be twin beds not doubles (as children sleeping in doubles with an adult doesn't give great sleep ! ) plus the put up sofa bed quality was terrible - very uncomfortable for my 12 year old!!
Small rooms... although they were not interconnecting they were opposite which was helpful.
HOwever despite the above the location is unbeatable and lovely and clean hotel.
A. A.
A lovely getaway in the heart of London. Delightful decor, excellent fare and wonderful staff made our stay truly memorable. Afternoon tea should not be missed and I look forward to experiencing Bailey’s hospitality again!
K. W.
I love the hotel, clean and close to my restaurant and cafe, reception staff were great, thanks for help , definitely i will stay here again
L. H.
Efficient booking and checking in experience. In fact, we were allowed to go to our room hours before the actual check in time! Our room was clean and well-appointed. Handy location right near the park and tube station.
L. H.
This is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location for Royal Albert Hall, museums and Kensington gardens. The staff were friendly and welcoming and we really appreciated the loan of umbrellas for an unexpected downpour! The room was very spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Minor quibble was no water on day 1 and no biscuits on day 2! However breakfast was really terrible: chewy hard bacon, cheap nasty sausage, soggy toast, cold beans, undercooked hash brown, no granola or muesli, watery yoghurt and the fresh fruit salad was fizzy! It was so bad we skipped it the second morning. What a shame as in every other way this was a fabulous hotel.
A. M.
Great location, near Gloucester Road underground so we didnt have to drag our bags far. Professional staff and a great room.
C. M.
Due to arriving at the hotel. The room is very nicely laid out. Notice dusting in certain areas... also a/c not working, sent engineer up to look at it, telling us to give it 10 mins for it to adjust after waiting for 1hour since arriving for it to work.... asked for a upgrade, receptionist stating no room available. Offered smaller room (not acceptable for the same time price). The their brought up broken heater that can bearly hold itself up with a broken wheel... not happy

A beautiful hotel in terms of decor and property type.
Such a shame about the service. I could write a whole chapter on the service, however I'll limit it to my final day at breakfast.
We sat there for well over 45 minutes after placing our order as we watched people who strolled in after us have their breakfast and leave. Clearly we were forgotten. The waiting staff kept walking past us oblivious to the fact that we were now staring into thin air.
In our "staring in thin air" moment, we saw a slice of toast drop on the floor from the toaster and observed a waiter picking it up and placing it in front of the toaster - right where another waiter could've picked it without knowing the journey of this toast slice🤔 and serving it to a customer.
Need I add that we got the wrong food for breakfast after waiting so long?
A good location for hotel, next to the tube.

** UPDATE: Manager now replied to this review saying we asked for free stay. This is a lie and not true. We asked for another room that was not defective. She intentionally downgraded us and offered no solution and made our stay miserable. She made no effort to acknowledge the issues with the room hence the complaint and this review **
Horrible hotel. Terrible customer service. Waste of money.
General Manager - Kim Tian is one of the rudest people I have ever had to deal with. Do not waste your money there as customer service is non-existent.
Our last visit from Thur 27/5-Sun 30/6 was one to forget.
We had multiple issues with the room. When we approached reception to get ask for another room we were treated with the utmost disrespect by Kim Tian's (General Manager). Her visible contemptuousness was really unacceptable; as returning members and given the issues we had during our stay, we are unhappy with her inability to provide a satisfactory resolution or provide basic customer service.
When we escalated the issue to the Millennium Group to the district manager Ganesh Amin and Chris Van Dam they chose to ignore the issue and failed to even apologies for the issues.
Disgusting customer service and complete disregard to customer service. Will never stay here again or in any Millennium Group Hotel. This is not how members should be treated.
Millennium Group - if someone is reading this. Kim Tian and Ganesh Amin are doing a disservice to the brand and their work ethics, dishonesty and disrespectful customer service needs to be looked into and investigated

Absolutely loved my stay - everything was perfect. The room was really clean, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and I had a brilliant night's sleep. Thank you!
D. B.
Lovely helpful staff especially Cherish on reception who was amazingly helpful . She is a great asset to the Bailey's hotel team . Definitely be staying again and recommend to friends and family xx
P. B.
We stayed for 2 nights and had a great time, lovely room, helpful staff and the location was perfect for exploring London.
Some issues with ordering breakfast but hopefully the management will devise a better system!
J. H.
Poor sound proofing from road noise. No drawers to put clothes. Mattress wasn't the best - stiff springs. Checkout staff were not engaging. Felt like a 3 star hotel.
E. N.
Hi
The room was a bit small as was the shower room. The beds weren't the most comfortable I have experienced but overall the hotel was clean and the staff were excellent. I was told when booking the second night that parking was redily available outside and there was an arrangement with somewhere local, I ended up paying to park at the Holiday Inn further up the road.

I had a great stay over The weekend, it was really nice speaking to Maria she was very Kind and friendly
D. T.
Another lovely stay at the Bailey's hotel. The hotel looks brand new due to deep cleaning. Always pleasant stay here. Love this hotel I always stay here. It is like my second home. Staff friendly and welcoming. They anticipate my needs. They are strict with Covid guidelines. I feel safe staying in this hotel

From arrival this trip was disappointing. I tried calling the hotel three times on route to check about parking, in the end I gave up and parked elsewhere. The woman at the front desk checking me in then took a phone call whilst I was completing my paperwork, which was rude enough. Then she walked off into a back room. I was then standing at the desk waiting for ten minutes, before flagging someone down. This woman was flustered but more helpful, she did say that the woman who had just left was her manager, which I find even more shocking. It took 15 minutes to check in in the end. I got to my room which was fine, but I noticed the key cards were filthy. They had make up and marks on them. Given COVID-19 I am unsure how this is able to happen, surely cleaning is currently an absolute priority? I took my key back to reception and asked them for clean ones, which they did and apologised. I met a friend in the bar for drinks before heading out for a meal, and when I came to pay I had to correct the bill that they had prepared which missed two drinks, perhaps I shouldn't have! Service in the bar though was fine, and better than the hotel staff. The rest of the stay was fine, check out was slow, but I'd come to expect that from the front desk. I also wouldn't describe the comfort of the bed or the quality of the covers as 4 star, nor the aesthetic of the room. It wasn't bad enough that I'd go leaving a negative review on TripAdvisor - but seeing as how I've been asked to fill in this survey I thought I should let you know. In summary, I wouldn't stay here again, which is a shame as the location works well for many meetings I need to attend in London.

The hotel is great in every way, except for the service. I think the staff were trying to deal with a difficult situation where the hotel was fully booked and the amount of staff to deal with the numbers just couldn't cope, therefore poor Management. Trying to deliver everyone's breakfast to their room was an almost impossible task and only one person on reception at peak periods.
G. C.
The hotel is really nice, the service let us down:the staff was under huge amount of workload, left to deal with everyone complaining about long waiting times to check in or out etc.The breakfast served in our room was really poor and delayed by almost an hour (but then why the breakfast has still too be served in the rooms)? I think it is time for the employers to invest again in the customer service, employ more people and let the excuse"pandemic"aside. Otherwise, we will all stay at home, with the excuse of the pandemic, and just watch the economy collapsing.I really feel for the people working in the hotel, all very nice and polite!
B. R.
Having not stayed in the Hotel for a while, it was great to be back and to receive the usual high quality of service.
Particualr thanks to the Front Office Manager, Medi Abbas, who looked after us very well.
We will return!!!
Thank you
M. R.
We have booked a family room for 2 nights on the 30 and 31 May 2021. Our experience was really not good at all. It is a first time in all my life I had such a bad experience in an hotel !!
I have waited to write this review because I contacted the hotel and the millenium hotel group to give them a chance to deal with this issue. I have had no reply from this hotel one month after and a reply from millennium hotel I will join who propose a discount foe our next day. Just to say we will never go again !!! We have had better experience in à ibis budget hôtel !!!
My email
Good afternoon
I would like to give you a written feedback of my hotel stay last weekend
We have booked a 2 nights stay for 6 of us including breakfast for the price of 579.01 pounds.
When we arrived to the hotel we have been asked a 50 pounds deposit in case we used the bar . We have not used any bar or extra during our 2 nights stay but the deposit has not been yet refund and we have been said it will take 7 to 10 working days to be refunded . We are waiting patiently to be refunded.
At the top of this , we have had a lot of disappointment during our stay .
Breakfast was definitely not up to the standard : a lot of items were missing both days including tea spoons , cups, salt , pepper, egg cups and some things we ordered. On the first day , we ended up sharing cup and having egg without salt and pepper. On the second day, the breakfast was 30 min late and I have ended up to go 3 times in the reception to ask for items missing . So I had a cold breakfast and my children were absolutely disappointed. We even had to share egg cups because there were not enough in the hotel. Breakfast was not even at a standard of a basic hotel .
After our first day we came back to the hotel at 8pm after a busy day . The room had not been cleaned .We were having all the dirty breakfast dishes in the room, no clean towels to have shower and no toilet roll.I needed to wait for at least 30 min to have the toilet roll and a warm shower !!! It is absolutely unacceptable !
The staff in the hotel looks absolutely stressed and not happy.I understand that the Covid situation is difficult for everyone but I have paid 579 pounds plus 50 pounds of deposit to have a really not enjoyable experience at all .
I would like to have my deposit of 50 pounds to be refunded and the price of the breakfast .
Many thanks for your understanding
The reply of millenium hotel group

The bar was terrible I'm afraid, service was confused, extremely slow, there were only 8 guests so it certainly wasn't busy. Sadly the gentlemen tending the bar really needs training, he had no idea where or what anything was. Sorry to complain. We had one drink and went over the road. Otherwise we love the hotel. My comments below relate to the bar only.
M. S.
My brother had a wedding last week and we all stayed at this hotel. As because of the occasion the hotel offered us a special price for parking at their sister hotel premises. When we arrived the reception told us that the information provided to us about parking was false even though it was comunicated via email with the hotel itself. We ended up paying double the promised price parking in the other hotel. If this wouldn't be enough the stay included breakfast on the wedding morning, but heading to the restaurant we were left disappointed because we were than informed that the hotel does not serve breakfast! As with wedding schedule it was quite stressful to quickly find other place to eat. Finally, the rooms and all the hotel looks much better in the picture than it is in real life. The carped and windows are quite disgusting...
Besides all the negativities even if the rooms are a bit small they are smartly organised so you could have some space and move freely. The beds are comfortable and cozy.
P. M.
This is one of my favorite hotels! My wife and kids and I stayed at Bailey's Hotel on our visit to London this weekend. Joann and the other Bailey's staff members were so helpful and responsive. Our room was very clean, with a beautiful (vaulted ceiling), and very comfortable, all for a good price. The hotel is located in a very safe and fun part of London (Kensington) with tons of shops and restaurants nearby. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone staying in London.
S. R.
Visited here with my mother pre-lockdown. The service at the Baileys was outstanding, the staff were very attentive and helped with all our needs. The rooms were clean and there was a great selection of complementary drinks in the room. The hotel overall was very clean and covid secure, with hand sanitisers in ever corner. The only let down was the breakfast which the eggs were a bit too raw and we had asked if they could do some more eggs. They then later retuned (30 mins) with the same plates. Other than that they had a wide variety of included breakfast like toast, pastries and cereal.
M. B.
Perfect position opposite Gloucester tube. Nice rooms and helpful staff
C. K.
I really loved my stay in this hotel. Aside from it's perfect location, beautiful room and lucrative ambiance, we had the most impeccable customer service. Joan and the other staff were very pleasant, warm and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

“Perfect staycation”
Not the type to usually write a review but this hotel and its staff is worth mentioning! Having stayed in other hotels this was by far the one where the staff can’t be faulted! From the breakfast staff to cleaning and reception everyone was super attentive without being too intrusive.
The facilities and location are amazing and all covid measures are being taken and rules enforced.
Hope to be back soon!
Thank you for such an amazing stay!
B. S.
Have stayed there twice this year and have four more stays there already booked. It is beginning to feel like home.; comfortable and friendly.
S. H.
one of the best locations. supermarket straight across the street, just like tube access. always stay there when in london.
G. A.
Brilliant location - very close to the V & A and other London sites. Difficult to organise car parking near the hotel - maybe the hotel could arrange some kind of tie up with a local parking company.
J. H.
The staff made us feel very welcome. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The location was great easy reach to the museums and gardens. Breakfast was delicious and catered for my food intolerance. We will return.
D.
Fantastic staff, Fantastic location, Fantastic and beautiful common areas, lovely rooms, but really need to be cleaner.
M. H.
Location is the best thing about this hotel. Everything else is average. Slow breakfast service (to be fair, possibly due to understaffing during COVID times). Unavailability of hotel parking is a big issue in London.
I. M. M.
An amazing experience at this Hotel, very good customer service, and rooms are clean .
K. Y.
Service was poor, booked through Expedia they had no details of my booking. It was cancelled without informing me, although I received a few confirmations!
G. P.
We stayed 3 nights. The beautiful full English breakfast buffet was delicious and was one of the reasons I picked this hotel. We loved the decor of our room — they assigned a spacious, top floor corner room with windows on two sides. Our room looked charming and renovated. Every staff member we spoke to was friendly and thoughtful. It was a lovely experience.
L. P.
Nice hotel situated 50 metres from Gloucester Road tube station, near to the museums and the Albert Hall. Friendly staff despite operating under Covid Rules. Highly recommended for people looking for a base in London for a a few days
J. G.
Another lovely stay for business. I stayed in a Junior Suite with large desk where I can conveniently work. Room service breakfast was meticulously prepared and served with care. My favourite hotel in London. Definitely coming back!
A. C.
A Historical hotel located very close to Gloucester Road Tube station.
The hotel is very clean and tidy but the reception did have a bad odour during our trip. Also the exterior and reception areas are decorated with weird Christmas type lights that make it look tacky IMO.
The room we stayed in was the ‘classic’ small but very clean and well decorated. It has one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in.
The staff were very friendly and helpful
R. V.
Excellent so far, another night to go.polite,clean,unpretentious. Can't fault it
K. R.
Nice location. Just not enough staff to offer a good service. So-called 'double' bed was two cheap singles pushed together with a very hard ridge down the middle.
B. P.
Just arrived, first impressions very good. My room was ready before 12am, which I hadn't expected. Single room small but functional and clean. Good quality toiletries in the bathroom. Pleasant bar with good views of life out on the street .
A. P.
This hotel is ideally placed in a busy area close to Kensington. Lots of eateries close by within walking distance. In-house Bar served some nice drinks.
Enjoyed our walks in Hyde Park.
Had some problems with TV not working but maintenance guys changed box whilst we were away and got the room re-senitized,
Was reassuring to know the place was Covid secure
S. M.
Stopped by the Asian restaurant, very nice, good service and tasty food.
D. H.
Staying at The Bailey's Hotel is a lovely experience. It is nicely appointed with a well-trained, attentive staff. The food is wonderfully prepared, nicely seasoned, and served at a good temperature. Portions are small but perfectly adequate. The quality of the ingredients used is superior. The food prices are very fair for the quality served. My only regret is that I could not stretch the room out two more feet, so that my own two feet would not bump into the furnishings. A good experience and I would gladly return if the opportunity arises. A real charmer.
J. P. (.
Good location next to mainline tube station and good service all around. Would definitely return.
D. T.
Lovely bar… but the prices…. Wow.
Amazing toilets
A. N.
Very pleased with the hotel and room. Underground parking is available, shared with the neighbouring hotel. Great location; over the road from the tube station and there are plenty of places for food if you don't want breakfast from the hotel. The buffet breakfast met expectations and the room was clean and well-maintained. I'd ordered a small birthday cake for my wife's birthday. It was there waiting as requested and I must say it was very nice.
J. T.
I often stop over In London for work and the Bailey's is my first choice. Friendly staff who are always willing to help. Christopher and Luis in particular make sure they go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction, Well spoken and extremely helpful. Kudos team !!
R. P.
My elderly Mum, myself and Sister have just had a 2 night stay at The Bailey's Hotel. I can't praise the Staff enough. They were so kind and helpful with my Mum. Breakfast was very nice and our Luxury Family Room was large and comfortable. Very convenient location. Would definitely go back. Thank you Bailey's
D. W.
Very nice hotel. A couple of the drawers in our room were loose on the runners and the chef at breakfast couldn't handle our food intolerance request for well cooked eggs, so it drops a star for that.
F. M.
Staying here for business in January 2020.
A very warm welcome on arrival, and a good sized room for one night – which was tidy as was the bathroom. Also nice to have a shower that heats up quickly so you can in effect steam flatten your suit after travelling! Nice views from the 5th floor window. The breakfast the next morning was good, and again very helpful staff.
Excellently situated for the tube system (next to Gloucester Road), with one easy change from Euston – took less than 20 minutes from train to hotel lobby. Also several pubs within a short stroll, and also several museums etc in the immediate area.
I would definitely recommend The Bailey’s, and would certainly stay again if I was in the area.
C. R.
Pleasant stay, no issues, lovely staff. Restaurants etc not open at all, shame but understandable. No working extractor fan in bathroom. But only stayed one night, so not a big deal.
g. J.
This hotel was absolutely fabulous. We felt very safe with a suitable number of precautions being taken and everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were real gems and a credit to the hotel. A wonderful family weekend.
M. C.
Greeted very well on arrival, room was ready and very comfortable and very clean..
Staff were helpful and professional definitely stay here again.
G. D.
Wonderful hotel with perfectly adequate breakfast
a. e.
Spacious double rooms and bathrooms. Something odd in London to come across. Location is fantastic in terms of safety, security, transportation literally 20 seconds away from Gloucester Road Station and 49 bus stop. Vibrant area with everything imaginable. Receptionists are a contrast one extremely welcoming paired with another sending negative vibes.
N. C.
Incredibly conveniently located RIGHT next to Gloucester Road tube station. Staff were all very helpful & cheery. The rooms are comfortable but ours faced inwards to the building's center and was a little gloomy. Bathroom looked recent and was all clean & everything functioned. I personally wasn't keen on showering stood in the bath with a curtain and the old style plumbing (see video) was bloomin' a bit annoying but others may find it all charming, who knows!
S. M. G.
have previously stayed @ The Baileys, really enjoy the location and ease of access to walk safely around this part of London
R. H.
Lumpy beds and terrible pillows. Grateful location. Reasonably priced.
D. *.
It was like sleeping in a Sauna, the hotel had either turned it's AC off or it had broken however it was so hot and disgusting all night. When asked reception about it the duty manager Dario Scarba was quite rude and said he couldn't do anything and it had been switched off because of COVID-19 which doesn't make sense to me as I work in an office and still have AC and I'm pretty sure planes and trains which are operating still do. No Milk to make a coffee, I was told it had all expired because they had been shut and they wouldn't replace it. Room was tiny and really grubby. all in all very very poor experience definitely not a 4 star hotel. If you get a cheap room and are going to be out a lot the location is good and check out at 12 noon but if you are actually going to sleep and get ready in the room don't bother.
S. W.
The absolute WORST client service I have experienced.
I stayed here for 3 nights, I have a push chair and no one helped me through the stairs not even once. No one helped me with luggage at check in or check out.
I upgraded to a bigger room with breakfast and at check out I have been told breakfast was not included and had to pay £30 extra per day.
Breakfast was awful, very poor selection and bad quality food.
One of the 3 days the cleaner didn't do our room.
We asked for a cot bed and was not supplied. We had to call reception twice to remind them.
The manager was extremely rude and disrespectful shouting at me at check out.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
A. T.
Great location. Staff helpful. Clean and tidy and we were on the 5th floor so it was very quiet, which was great. Easy access to London west end from gloucester Road Tube which is just accross the road.
T. C.
Lovely hotel, best location, staff friendly. Everything spot on! Special mention to the Managers' efficiency: Derya, Joan and Barry - very well done!
J. A.
Recently stayed here with my cousin. We were over from Ireland. My cousin had different medical appointments. The cleanliness was fantastic. Food was beautiful. And staff where outstanding. My cousin is wheelchair bound and nothing was to much of a hassle to help us. I have to say your door man is one of the nicest we have ever come across. He was absolutely fantastic helping us right down to the smallest of things. Gary Rutherford (the man in the red hat 😊) we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our trip as painless as possible. Your really are one of life's true gents.
B. R.
Everything was ideal. From reception through to check out. Breakfast staff could not have been more helpful and efficient. Well done all round.
A. T.
Incredible old school hotel. Well situated for tube stations. Upgrade was a bonus and the suite was stunning. I have stayed here every second Summer since 2013 to show my children London. This hotel is a great place to base yourself. Back next year with my youngest.
S. B.
Couldn't get a better location, right across the street from Gloucester road underground station (which is served by the Piccadilly line and the District & Circle lines). We arrived into Liverpool street on the Stansted Express and got a direct Circle line train to the hotel.
You're a short walk to the Natural History museum, the V&A and the Science museum, and the immediate vicinity of the hotel is good for cafes.
The hotel gives a great first impression. It really is a beautiful building. A smartly dressed, friendly doorman greets you on arrival and the lobby is very welcoming. Lots of lovely touches in the decor - twinkling lights, fresh flowers, cosy furnishings.
We booked a mid-range room, and it's worth paying that bit extra for the space you get, and the view. No problem with street noise - the windows are well soundproofed.
Very handy desk/dressing table (with sockets and a mirror that tilts down so you can do your hair and makeup sitting down - if you've been traipsing around London all day, the last thing you want to do is stand at the bathroom sink while you're getting ready to go back out again!!).
Extra star for the most comfy bed!!!
Nice bathroom with separate bath and shower, and decent toiletries.
There was a kettle with tea and instant coffee (oh, and a welcome bowl of macarons, which were a nice surprise). A Nespresso machine would have been nice, but there are coffee shops nearby.
I know the hotel is part of a chain, but it has a great sense of individuality - you don't feel like you're staying in an identikit hotel. It feels like a well-loved family hotel.
Would definitely stay again!!
G.
My boyfriend and I stayed as a Birthday great.
The hotel is in a cracking location and literally over the road from the tube.
The room is tastefully decorated and the bed was really comfortable.
We slept really well and enjoyed our stay.
Y. F.
Great customer service and lovely quaint hotel. Very personalized service making us feel welcome and cared for during our stay in London. Location is great for pretty much everything you need is within walking distance or a bus/u tube ride. Underground station is across the road which was awesome. We will stay here again upon our return to London and highly recommend this hotel to others.
A. L.
Very conveniently located at the junction of Courtfield Road and Gloucester Road and just opposite to the Gloucester Tube Station. The hotel is nicely decorated and the rooms are relatively spacious than others in the same area. The staff are friendly and helpful and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby the area. Highly recommended for first time London visitors.
J. K.
Love this hotel. It was the second time we stayed at this hotel as we enjoyed the location and feel you get good value for your money. The hotel as a lot of charm, yet the rooms have all the modern amenities (beds are very comfortable and the room is also very clean) . Good breakfast. Staff is great.
K. B.
Lovely hotel in a great location, the staff were excellent. Looking forward to staying with you again soon. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
B. A.
Lovely hotel. Lovely staff. Very very handy for the big museums!
P. L.
Location is great, looks a bit old but all good and clean, rooms are really big compared to other hotels in London, reception and staff were nice overall, bed was clean and bathroom was reasonably spacious. If you're staying for a long time in London, then this is one of the choices you should consider.
B. K.
We went to the Bailey's for Boxing Day, and a few days after before the new year. The hotel is located on Gloucester Road, opposite the underground station. It is very near to the Natural History Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and by bus we can easily reach Knightsbridge.
The lobby is well decorated and well kept, and you feel like you just entered one of those British mansions: not too big so you can feel at home, but still fancy enough to leave you refreshed.
The room we had was not exactly as promised, and we seem to have been lacking a bit of room, compared to what the photos on site showed. But the beds were comfortable, and the shower was very nice. We did not get much of a view at all, and even though it seems like we would not in Central London, I expected more than a building one foot behind your window (which may actually also belong to the hotel). Since we were on the 4th floor, I believe not many rooms may have a view, if none at all.
Service was good, the times we needed a toothbrush or towel, these were brought promptly to our room. Breakfast is not very well managed, since we usually have to wait a long queue to be seated. Quality of the breakfast was good though.
J. W.
not recommended at all, 👎👎
I was surprised at the reception when I arrived from a long trip with my children, when they told me they would not give me the rooms i booked, and they told me we need to pay value of the stay again😡, even though the amount was deducted from our credit card at the time of booking. When we ask the manager to discuss it, Instead of inviting us to the room to rest from the long and tiring trip, he told us to pay again the price of our stay or they well not give as our rooms, how can the hotel manager agree with the receptionist employee rather than the apologize. So the manager did not take any action against the employee even though the treatment method is resented by the customer. We had sent an email to the hotel in advance , Explaining all the details when we booked, but there’s no respond, and this is a lack of customers service to know that they only take money and do not care later on about the convenience of customers, it is a shameful disregard by the staff with the help of the manager for the visitor, to try to take the visitors money unjustly (you can find photo on the site) I have all the evidence that they have taken the money twice, please all customers be cautious.

The Bailey's was a pleasant surprise for us. It was in a great location, just across the street from the Tube. The neighborhood is worth a walk around if you stay. The accommodations were beautiful, clean and just right for us. The staff was helpful and attentive. And, a pleasant surprise was found in the bar, where a spot-on Manhattan brought a satisfying end to a long day of sightseeing!

Lovely Hotel and Excellent Management
Without a shadow of doubt this Hotel and its wonderful Management Team led by Kim the exceptional General Manageress is a 7 Star venue its standards and surrounds being up to those international Hotels in which I have stayed around the world.
G. G.
My wife and I just got back from staying in London. We stayed at the Bailey; while the room was small the staff was absolutely perfect, the rooms -- small as they were, were beautiful and clean and the location is perfect. There is literally a tube stop right outside; but there are plenty of other things very near the hotel like the Natural History Museum and Harrods.
Again -- I can't stress enough the professionalism, kindness and flexibility of the staff. They were awesome!
P. R.
On the outside a quality hotel but lacking the service you expect for the money.
G. R.
Stayed for our belated 40th Birthday and it was a real treat to stay here, boutique hotel in prime location next to the station, couldn't have asked for more!
r. k.
Great location, across the street from 3 Underground lines. Safe neighborhood, nice rooms. Very unattentive staff. So disappointing. Breakfast buffet does not change day to day, same old. There are hundreds of great hotels in London - this is not one of them.
E. M.
Nice reception staff but horrid rooms..so outdated
K. H.
Joan in Reception was excellent! Very friendly and professional. Luis at the bar makes the best cocktails. Highly recommend. Rooms clean and spacious
R. C.
I have stayed here 4 nights. Service is really good. Breakfast and bar in the evening are very professional.
Prices for a room are huge. But that is London. But my room and especially my bathroom was too small. No matter what price you pay
R. Y.
Good Location.
Compare to other hotels of the same level this one was lacking hygiene rundown room, semi broken air condition with absolutely .empty fridge was very remarkable. Door and window was so old
You could hear the outside noise clearly

Over the last seven years, my husband and I have stayed at the Baileys nine times. We used to consider the Baileys “our home away from home” in London, but unfortunately, we will no longer use the Baileys as our London base and will find another hotel in the neighborhood. The Baileys is a beautiful hotel and we will indeed miss the gorgeous staircase and thoughtful decorative details. However, we will not miss the surly and dismissive staff, especially with the General Manager Kim Tian.
In July 2018, the Bailey’s practiced a bait and switch on me. I booked a classic double room and specifically requested my favorite double room. When I arrived at the hotel and checked in, I was given a single room, not the room I booked and paid for. I was informed that since I was traveling as a single person, I was appointed a much smaller single room instead of the double room I had booked and already paid for. When I protested about the bait and switch, I was informed there were no double rooms available and the price difference would be adjusted on my bill. The price adjustment never happened.
Despite the bait and switch, my husband and I decided to return to the Bailey’s in late January/early February 2019 for five nights. The breakfast buffet was supposed to be open and ready at 6:30 am. It was not. Furthermore, we were greeted by a staff member who wasn’t even wearing a uniform, but instead was in jeans and t-shirt and who was coughing all over the place. The breakfast tables had not been set with silverware, glasses, and only half the food was out on the buffet. One guest repeatedly kept asking for milk for cereal and after 15 minutes, it finally arrived. Meanwhile, the staff was standing around gossiping about other co-workers instead of clearing dirty breakfast plates and bringing the missing buffet items out. In addition, the toaster was broken for four days. We had such a horrible breakfast experience during our stay that I sent an email to management about the unprofessional staff demeanor and tardiness of the breakfast items.
So, my when my husband was in London in August 2019, he was hopeful the Baileys had sorted the complete lack of customer service and decided to book another stay for himself. I was traveling north on that day and wouldn’t be staying with him, but was with my husband when he checked in on August 4, 2019. The front desk staff did not offer any assistance with the luggage. When my husband checked out the next morning, he had an early flight to catch and the Tube wasn’t running that time of the morning. So he asked the front desk to call him a taxi, and he specifically requested a licensed taxi. Instead, the front desk called a car, not a taxi. My husband again, said he didn’t want a car, he wanted a licensed taxi. The front desk staff then decided to argue with my husband that he should just get into the car. At this point, my husband left the hotel and hailed himself a licensed taxi from the street. Why wouldn’t the Baileys staff honor a simple request and argue with the guest?
When I raised these issues with the management, the General Manager Kim Tian responded by essentially saying my husband and I were lying about our experiences and insisted after a “thorough investigation” that we were helped with the luggage and her staff helped my husband secure a taxi. This is absolutely false. The take aways of this exchange is that according to the Bailey’s management the guest is always wrong. I can attest as someone who has now had three horrible experiences with the Bailey’s that their customer service is atrocious. Even when a guest raises a valid issue with management, the guest is told they are lying by the General Manager.
The Baileys has a serious problem with customer service, and we are tired of spending our money at a hotel where we are treated poorly and informed by the General Manager that she only believes her staff’s version of the story. We won't be staying her ever again.

Checked on time after traveling for two days only to be told they had a maintenance issue and would need to move us to a sister hotel 5 min away just for one night. We were offered an upgrade to a club room at the sister hotel and an upgrade to a Jr suite at Baileys on our return
We agreed to a one night transfer and were whisked away to the next hotel. Had a somewhat pleasant stay there, but rooms were small and outdated.
Next day we had to explain the transfer back to Baileys several times to reception before they finally agreed to call a cab. On arrival back to Baileys our driver asked for payment because the prior hotel hadn't understood the arrangements. We paid as it was only $8.
Once inside, we were shown to our jr suite and given two drink coupons for their bar.
The suite was beautiful, large and had all the modern amenities you'd expect. Including a US plug in and many USB ports. The bathroom lacked a little on counter space but we weren't complaining.
Special kudos to Sonny at the front desk who went above and beyond to help us retrieve a cell phone lost on a tour bus. He was a great help and we would have never retrieved it without him.
Baileys is a great place to stay. Right next to the Tube, near Picadiilly Circus. Can't recommend this place enough. We'll definitely stay again.

Very charming hotel, a bit old-fashionhed (we liked that), perfectly situated just opposite Gloucester Road tube station.
The most friendly and helpful staff I've ever experienced. Everybody kind and smiling, trying to do his or her best to make you comfortable.
Unfortunately, my daughter got sick on the last day of our stay, but we were allowed to stay after check-out hour so she could rest until we were going to the airport - no extra charges.
The room was nice and clean, and so was the bathroom. The beds were comfortable, and it was nice that the room had aircondition.
Breakfast was very good - a lot of things to choose from.
We should certainly love to come back to this hotel.
Our only complaint would be that access to the internet is a bit overpriced at GBP 10 per day.
But on the overall - thanks to all the staff that made our stay at Bailey's a very pleasant experience.
L. E.
A truly terrible hotel.... Unhappy staff, poor breakfasts, faulty air conditioning (I had to move rooms twice because the room was 28'c with the AC on!).... Avoid at all costs!

LOVELY HOTEL, EXCELLENT STAFF
I recently stayed at The Bailey's Hotel for a business trip and enjoyed my stay immensely. The hotel is full of English charm and the staff epitomizes the word hospitality. The moment I entered the doors, I was warmly greeted by Hassan. Then, Georgia, kindly and professionally ensured I had a room that suited my needs. I enjoyed several meals at the Olives restaurant and cannot speak highly enough about Andre and Chi-Chi whose excellent service made dining there pleasant and enjoyable. I hosted an event at the hotel and worked with Derya Kurum to organize it. Derya is amazing! Her attention to detail and diligent efforts to make my event a success exceeded my expectations! I listed a few people by name, but every staff I encountered was friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and I felt safe staying there as a solo traveler. The hotel is also conveniently located to several restaurants and coffee shops. There is a tube station, Starbucks and Paul's literally across the street. The Bailey’s Hotel is now THE place I stay in London.More
Date of stay: March 2020

Exceeded already high expectations, great room (junior suite) and service, very good breakfast, fantastic location. Better than 5-star room at same price.
N. D.
An amazing hotel! Great facilities and wonderful staff. Note to self:don't try posting a review whilst on the train as the original posting sent at 2 stars by accident! Would definitely recommend this hotel. Excellent if you are looking a quick connection to Wimbledon!

Nice and cosy hotel. Friendly staff. Nice rooms stuffed with all you need for your stay. Very good location in South Kensington. Tube station Gloucester road is right ahead with district and circle line and Piccadilly line which operates directly to Heathrow Airport. Great place.
A. U.
Not the high end experience I was expecting - pleasant stay but not that impressive.
E. B.
Its a great hotel for American families..its combination of pricing, convenient location, and the availability of 2 double beds in most rooms cant be beat. Its close to best museums and a short walk to Kensington palace. Glouster road tube station (with most tourist friendly routes) is right there. Affordable eats are all around and breakfast at hotel is big perk. Rooms are different sizes ranging from small to generous...make sure to pay small upgrade for delux family room. Its an older hotel with a recent renovation everything is clean and bathrooms are newish. Glad we stayed 7 nights..would repeat.
r. c.
Can't grumble as a base for exploring it's easy to get on tube busses and taxis. A good hotel for walking over to the natural history museum. Breakfast was perfect and the bar is lovely to chill out after a busy day. You might struggle with younger children there, our two year old seemed to terrify the staff there!
L. M.
A great hotel, very nice and friendly Personal.Have a club twin room, I set up really huge and absolutely clean, beautiful British as shown on the Picture.Room large single beds with a little too soft Mattress. Breakfast British and Continental, in a big bright Room.Bar with comfortable furniture for guests to let.Very end the day nice and pleasant hotel. Tube directly at the Door.Big Thanks for the pleasant stay.

My family and I have just had a 3 day stay at this charming hotel which was perfectly located for us, the staff were very helpful and whilst greeting us at reception they showed us some great spots to visit it was also our sons birthday so we came back to our room to find a lovely card and birthday cake.
We will definitely visit again!
Thank you
D. R.
Nice hotel, the room was well kept and a good size, friendly staff, nice breakfast selection. We used the car park shared with the sister hotel next door, parking spaces are tight but it is London. Would happily stay again.
J. G.
We really liked the Baileys. The location is best feature as right across street from Gloucester Road station which has 3 lines passing thru. The neighborhood is one of the more charming ones with everything you could ask for within a block. We had a luxury room which was pretty nice and great value as included fine buffet breakfast and ample extra food credits for lunch.
S. H.
Staying on business with the family. We stayed in a Luxury family room which was good value and the beds were comfy but there was loads of dead flies behind the curtain..
S. W.
Room looked straight out to a brick wall which made the room dark. Did not sleep as the bed was really uncomfy. In the morning the reception asked how our stay was so I said the bed wasn't comfy and the view was poor and they didn't say anything.
E. T.
stayed for 1 night trip to see a show.
the hotel location is very good but the hotel room condition is poor.
stayed in a luxury double and very disappointed with the noise level, both inside from a continuously flushing toilet and air conditioning outside the window and pigeons early in the morning. Windows are single pane and not really suitable for the centre of London !
T. M.
Super awesome location - few seconds away from the tube station (right across the street), several grocery stores and restaurants within the block. Stayed there for a week on Dec 2013. The customer service was awesome, got a free upgrade to a suite (one king size bed and a sofa bed) when they knew there were three of us (originally we booked a room with two twin beds). There was free wifi in the lobby. I'd definitely go there again if visiting London.
T. M.
Bailey's is a quaint hotel with comfortable rooms in a great location. I was told that the room came with a complimentary bottle of champagne however ours had a bottle of red wine. A variety of hot and cold offerings sure to satisfy most …
T. M.
The Bailey's Hotel in London is a very pleasant hotel. The Glouster road station is across the street and is clean and easy to use. I asked to see the ***ager and whoever came out was only marginally more interested but did make a note of our e-mail address and said that someone would contact me. Room prices reasonable.
T.
Stayed again at this fabulous hotel. The location in the lovely Kensington section of London is unbeatable. Unfortunately I had to go out to meet some colleagues and left it on, in the hope I'd come back to a nice cold room. The Baileys Hotel London is a great value for money.

INITIAL IMPRESSION
We are here for a ten day vacation. So far, the experience has been excellent. When we arrived early, they helped us get into a room immediately. The rooms are clean, charming, comfortable and everything I could want. Their lounge/bar is very comfortable and staffed excellently. I have enjoyed their breakfast buffet. It was warm, filling and uncomplicated. The only minor quibble is that their elevator is tiny and there is only one currently in order.
UPDATE:
While the Bailey's got off to a 5 star start, as our stay contined, things slid downhill dramatically. FIRST came electrical issues caused by housekeeping staff being in the habit of moving what was supposed to be a fixed, retractable television until the wires became stripped bare and partially disconnected. This caused a lot of the power in the suite to flucker and finally tripped the breakers.
The electrician only reset the breaker and kludged the TV so that it would work if you didn't retract and extend it. The exposed wires were left exposed and housekeeping could not be persuaded to stop shoving the TV cabinet halfway across the room to make it a little easier to make the bed.
Although we stayed in 537 the Walworth Suite for over a week (from the 13th until the 23rd) that issue was never completely resolved.
While the AC in the suite worked wonderfully at first, as the week wore on, it became less effective in the evenings until it pretty much wasn't noticable at all except for in the sitting room where it did exactly zero good. When we raised the issue, the hotel electrician's response was that it seemed perfectly fine to him. Rather than sweating under a massive comforter with no topsheet or spending another uncomfortable night with the comforter thrown off the bed for yet another night, I am spending my last night here sleeping on the small, hard couch because it's better than anything the staff can be bothered to do for me. We are no longer willing to continue to attempt to advocate for ourselves here as we have found it to be pointless.
Which brings me to room service. Now when we started out here, this also was good. However room service has gone straight to don't bother status. Either there was an issue with their phones or the staff had trouble with English but placing orders after the first day became difficult and required a great deal of patience. Incorrect meal deliveries, dirty teapots and the like were more often than not despite regular tipping. Our final experience with this was an order for a pot of tea and two plates which may never have arrived at all if we had not repeatedly called about it over a half hour after our order was placed. BTW the room service woman actually hung up on my husband. They never bothered to even try to rectify this.
And then there was housekeeping. I am not certain how often our bedding actually got changed rather than just remade because I was only present twice when housekeeping was working. On one of those occasions there was no fresh bedding and on the other, I had to ask for it and then reinforce that I actually wanted it.
Not even going to get into the slide in breakfasts.
Pretty much the ONLY staff I have come into regular contact with that has remained unfailingly wonderful, professional and welcoming has been the doormen. These gentlemen are still a ray of sunshine.
R. C.
Had to "upgrade" my room for additional 30 pounds for each night !!
Me, personally, I would NOT go back to this place .
Both room i had has bad smell, and that weird walk around to get to your room ?
No , thanks.
Food is ok , rooms are clean but smell weird and have that moist ....Stuff is ok .. but this place is by far overpriced in my opinion.
Make sure you understand the size of your room and where it located at the building when you book.
3 star for the design .
M. K.
We stayed at Baileys for 3 nights for sightseeing and shopping. It was superb!
S. S. (.
The hotel was very comfortable. The staff was pleasant. We ordered room service a number of times. Food was good, but their service was not as prompt as we hoped. We would come back to stay with them, if we are in london.
L. M. (.
Homely hotel with a vintage feeling. Rooms renovated with high quality modern equipment. Good breakfast. Awesome location right opp Gloucester Rd Tube station. Rooms are very small though - understandable as the staff informed me the hotel was built over a century ago
T. M.
An excellent hotel in a perfect location. The hotel is comfortable, classy, and has a great restaurant below. I will definitely be staying here again, although it is a bit pricey. You do pay for the location however, not 20 yards from the Tube, surrounded by great restaurants, and 2 blocks from Hyde Park.
I would definitely recommend this establishment, if you can fit the bill.
S. B.
The hotel is directly across the street from the tube making this an excellent location. There are plenty of restaurants and shops for food in the area. A delightful boutique hotel in a brilliant location to almost everything you need in London. The windows are not closing properly in the bathroom and is very cold.
M. M.
Great hotel, really posh. Staff is incredibly good. Drinks and cocktails are really well made. Breakfast is varied and of great quality. Beds are huge and comfy. Expensive, but you get what you paid for.
C. M.
Very nice hotel in the heart of Kensington. Big and clean rooms. Perfect air conditioning 24/7 even if you are out of the room. The personal is friendly enough. The location cannot be better- 15 sec from the metro station. 50 meters from super store. About 3-4 restaurants in the area. 15 minutes from Hyide Park. Highly recommend.
J. N.
Very helpful and friendly staff, easy check-in and a perfect location to get in and out of central London for theatres ect. What I didn’t understand was that I included breakfast when I booked @ £11.50 each which on the menu was £20.00 for the buffet breakfast so would seem we had a good deal but my wife fancied eggs benedict, which they charged us an additional £9.50 which was the menu price and my maths say is less than £11.50 so that morning my wife’s breakfast cost me £21.00. They did however take off the service charge because of a delay in getting the eggs benedict to my wife which took over 25 minutes I accept that the restaurant was busy but we had to chase this request twice.
We were on the 5th floor room 502 which is at the back of the hotel you could hear the extractor fan in the back ground but it was not too disturbing.
C. D.
Terrible service. We requested a room with 4 single beds. However, only one double bed was in our room. We asked for a change of rooms, which separated us 4 people. Then the second day, they moved us to other rooms, in which the keys don't work. The lady at the front desk gave us a bad face. The room itself is not bad though.
C. M.
Used to be a favourite hotel of ours...no longer after this recent stay. The hotel need to fix the air-conditioning ~ we aren't the only ones having to suffer warm rooms during summer. Housekeeping has deteriorated markedly.
C. R.
Beautiful building and fantastic hospitality service. Thank you Paul Middleton! Our event today was made possible through generous support from the Kensington and Chelsea Chamber of Commerce, thank you so much! Hope to return to the hotel for future conference.
S. D.
My favourite hotel in London, it’s like home away from home when I travel in UK!
It’s furnished like a victorian house, bedroom and common areas are so comfortable that you have the impression of being at a friend’s place more than in a hotel!!
Perfect location, just in front of V&A Museum and 15 minutes walk from knightsbridge.
Á. M.
Superb location, many buses stop literally outside.
Gloucester Road tube station one minute away.
Older hotel with slightly more reasonable prices.
Good dining area.
T. M.
I'm still at the hotel.. had the first incident at the check-in when they refused to give me my room cause they had an unresolved issue with the Visa. Then the room was so tiny. The breakfast is so poor. And now In the middle of the night I lost all electricity in my room and they simply cant do anything about it now.
A. D.
Highly recomended hotel. On our last evening about 30 young women checked in from a tour group and we thought for sure we wouldn't get any sleep that night but again we did not hear a peep. We were lucky our room was ready when we arrived around noon since we were just expecting to check our bags.
R. M.
It started of with the check in. I asked if they had internet and Antonio replied that its 10 pounds oer day (!) When i said i thought that was rediculous, he replied that he has a friend working at another hotel where its even more. Basically saying deal with it. Youre better of getting a internet sim on the high streets.
The second issue was in the room. You could clearly see the made went through it quickly. Thats a problem in current day hotels as they have to manage to clean a lot in little time. The toilet seat was spotted and so was the sink. Not a nice idea to go to the toilet. Also everything from the hallways to the rooms smell after chloride. Again not nice. In my room upon enteri i found the heating turned on its highest and on the warmest setting. Again, not what youre hoping for after a days hard work. The room i stayed in was 596. I guess normalky it would be a nice room if clean.
With breakfast asking for a cappuccino is to much. It will cost me an additional 4.35 pound (!) and the breakfast is 13.50 pounds. Price for breakfast is ok, but for my croissant and scrambled egg one might expect a bit more service translated in a cappucino. But 4.35 is an absolute rip off! The waiter smiled and seriously asked if i wanted one. Uhm no, ill get a proper one from Costa thank you.
The TV System is very buggy, and every channel keeps lagging or just freezes up.
Everyone is trained to get more money and up sell, service is clearly second. And thats what is wrong with this hotels management. I would strongly unadvice this hotel to any friend or family for the moment being.
Ps what is really nice is that they have a kids congierge. Albeit i dont have any myself, I do like that idea / service.
Stayed July, 2014, business trip
T. M.
Great customer service and very tasty food🍲🍲🍲 high recommend this hotel in Kensington
a. j.
The location for the hotel is amazing just outside glos road tube. Staff very helpful on where to go and what to do. From the moment I arrived I found the service to be superior in every way. Great place to stay i would 100%% recommend on a trip to London.
I. K.
Beautiful hotel, great friendly staff, especially reception team looked after me, I wanted to early checkin no problem.. will come back again.
K. L.
Perfect location in South Kensington . Just in front of the Underground station , all three lines ( picadilly , bakerloo and yellow ) , very clean, neat and good hotel that i can choose for another trip . You wont regret it . İf you dont want to take the breakfast in the hotel there are very nice coffee and sandwich and breakfast places around , also there is a small tesco open until midnight m

Always a great customer service!!! Love coming back here again and again!!!
Special thank you to the manager, who is always on top of everything and makes sure everyone is happy.
D. L.
Nice clean rooms , nice staff.. some are really friendly and helpful .
great location next to underground station, many cafe's and restaurants nearby
use to have fantastic breakfast but not any more
M. N.
Excellent position. Very quiet. Beds too soft for me, but ok.
M. L.
No Housekeeping done, phone not working, facecloth stained, spoke to reception twice and emailed reception, never got a reply.
D. B.
Excellent location just next to the tube. Very easy access from Heathrow airport. Rooms are nice and clean. Room has American and EU outlets + USB charging in case you don't have an adapter. Free WiFi and TV has build in Chromecast. Hotel has lounge with free refreshments.
C. L.
Stayed here for 6 nights and location was awesome. Across the road from the tube. Breakfast was awesome. Room was okay, baroey any natural light reached the room and stairs in corridors made it alittle difficult to move luggage
C.
Lovely hotel with rooms well refurbished. Location is ideal with the tube right at your door steps.
Well trained staffs that provides excellent services....I will definitely go back to them.
C. C.
Great hotel. It is quiet, well equipped, large rooms, plenty of space for storage as well as an abundance of electric outlets as well as USB ports. Delicious breakfasts and afternoon tea.
M. S.
Old English charm and culture. Small shops, English pubs, money exchange, metro, and pharmacy are all in walking distance. Try afternoon tea. It is wonderful and the staff is gracious. The concierge is very help in getting taxis and what else you need. You will not be disappointed .
T. H.
I have never met such kind and understanding staff. They approached our problem immediately and individually, thank you! I highly recommend cooperation with this team and the hotel itself.
A. N.
Very nice staff, nice and clean rooms. Double bed was small (in width) for two adults. Location is great, near tube station and museums. Ideal for a city trip.
T. M.
what went wrong:
- arrived in the night and where told no room available for us even though we had a confirmation.
- where transferred to the Millennium Hotel and there we had to go through some effort to finally get our room.
One day later went back to the baileys and got a very nice room. no question. from there on enjoyed our stay. unitl to the invoice of the Millennium not settled.
- we had to witness a few discussions and fights at the reception. something was going very wrong. people where sleeping on the sofas in the entrance are - was a bit like a camp.... but okay, I do not mind, just for a hotel in like this it was unexpected.
MAIN DISAPPOINTMENT:
We had to pay the room at the Millenium (the one we where re-located to from the Bailey's). At checkout I was assured this will be paid immediately back to my account. Up to now I have not received this back. After all that went wrong, the biggest disappointment is, that i have to chase you for my money for a mistake you made. Please handle ASAP. (i send an eMail to the Hotel directly)
IT IS NOT SOLVED YET
D. G.
I have stayed at this hotel a few times and I am always happy to return. Every member of staff that e came across was excellent at their job. About a 10 minute walk from Kensington Gardens. Take a ride on the Underground across the street or hop on a bus.
J. B.
Really enjoyed our stay. Will return.
s. l.
Love this hotel. Great location and wonderful service. My only complaint is that the king size bed was actually two twin mattresses pushed together, but I will stay here every time I visit London.
S. C.
Everything was great apart from the bog-standard breakfast.
Ø. N.
I just love it in the hotel!I am in my room right now whith my sister!
A. J. A.
Bar and restaurant could use some refurbishment . Beds a little worn out. Could use new matresses. Location very close to underground station(50m). Very silent bedrooms against back yard. Very good breakfast.
J. A.
You must be very careful and do not trust the management of the hotel, this story is transmitted as received from our customers we care about their problems after we are freed from credibility:
( When you arrive the hotel early they wait for more than two hours because they clean and prepare the room, but what happened when I wanted to go to sleep in Late at night, under the bed sheet there was a long hair, that mean they don’t change all bed linen, but I couldn't do anything because it was too late and I needed to sleep, but I was surprised in the early morning that there were irritated spots on my skin that did not exist before. I asked the manager on the phone and explained to him and his telling me that he well be back to Me and he we’ll meet me, but until I leave The hotel he did not communicate with me, he did not even offer me the presence of a doctor or he reassure of the hotel customers )
, from our point of view he treats the Client in a rude manner and that not professional ,and do not reassure customers and I think that such an administration can not that trust him to manage this project , where trust can not be restored again, we as observers put the responsibility on the management of the hotel most Which is duty to fix any problem suffered by the customer at the same time and not deliberate negligence is a solution to end the problem and forget it, and now we wait for the official response from the hotel officials to see the extent of interest and responsibility they bear
T. M.
Loved this hotel! Staff was excellent! Room comfortable and in house breakfast was very bood. Would like to return on our next trip to Londpn
i. m. (.
I don’t recommend staying there👎. The first impression I got from the receptionist was moody. The rooms are too small, not big enough for two people. Breakfast wasn’t too clean, the milk was dirty, the tables as well, they were sticky. 😡
P. C.
Great rooms. Nice food and a very friendly bar staff
P. M.
The a$$holes refused to honour my booking because someone else had the room and refused to check out. Also didn’t provide a suitable alternative and refused to let me speak to the manager. Do not stay here. Awful.
G. H.
Very enjoyable and comfortable stay, very clean and staff offered a superb service. Will stay here again.

The Bailey's Hotel - London was a great hotel, right in the heart of South Kensington. It was convenient being right across the road from Gloucester Station where you can take the Picadilly Eastbound Tube directly from Heathrow Airport. In addition, there were some shops and restaurants surrounding the hotel. My room was very clean and the service was immaculate. Olives Restaurant and Bar was also decent which is located inside. I would stay here again.
V. S.
i will never stay anywhere else! perfect location, gorgeous hotel, excellent breakfast, wonderful service. Very English, heated towel racks, toast comes in toast racks!
i loved every minute of it.
T. M.
London is great, from Bailey's Hotel is marvelous!!! Great place! Super family friendly makes you feel at home! We will certainly be back hear next time in London! Best Place in Kensington!
R. S.
We were delighted to find that the hotel is located right beside the Gloucester Road underground station making it very easy to travel around the rest of London. The Gloucester road station is across the street and that is super helpful for getting around London. London is much more expensive.
V. C.
Stayed at the wonderful Bailey's Hotel London with my son's school for their school trip. The Concierge and Doorman were ABSOLUTELY fabulous! Macej (sp?) and Gary were a hoot and very helpful in answering any questions we had! Hassan had great recommendations on places to eat on our free day. If I ever come back to London I will be staying at the Bailey's.
It has a plethora of shops and pubs very close by and the tube station is very conveniently right across the road!
Thank you Bailey's for helping to make our stay fabulous!!
p.s. has the cat moved yet?
N. S.
Great location, Great hotel and Great staff.
R. R. R.
decent hotel, excellent location
big rooms (london standards) and good generous breakfast buffet, Staff were mostly helpful especially the breakfast crew and don’t desk, not the case for the over worked house keeping services who don’t seem to clean much (i has to ask them specifically to vaccine the room and change the sheet)
the hotel location is excellent but it needs some needed upgrades (that’s why i am going veg them 2 stars) such as replacing the gross carpets ( so many stains in the hallways) and fix the elevator — it was broken during our 5 days stay — so hotel management need to pay up and fund these projects and make them a priority
little bit of old building stench in the hotel, mold maybe ? idk it seems to the be the case for many old buildings in london
L. F.
Unique hotel that represents de quintessential British style and hospitality. Best sleep ever & the room is full of special touches! Olives restaurant has an extensive quality wine list and seasonal menu with daily extra suggestions according to the market. The hand made spinach linguini with crab and lobster from Colchester is one of their signature dishes. Don't miss the Burrata, the vegan quinoa salad, tuna tartare and Pistachio Tiramisu, just out of this world!
There is a little bar that offers creative cocktails served by experts, we tried a few and were absolutely delicious.
A friend suggested us to come here for the Afternoon Tea and the cocktails and we'll be forever grateful!
It's probably the best value for money in Kensington!
D. P.
Spacious rooms, great location, incredibly friendly and helpful staff. One of the best hotels I've stayed at in years.
A. K.
Normally a favourite of mine, but on this occasion I got about the smallest room imaginable. No space to work, no view of the outside world through the window. I'll be staying elsewhere on my next business trip to London.
H. E. R. T.
I have just stayed the weekend with my best friend at this hotel.. It's the first time we have stayed here and I must say how wonderful it is ♥ ♥ ♥
I would love to stay again next time we come back as also it's in a great situation for travelling the underground 🚇
The room was fantastic and very clean with everything you could need for a enjoyable stay..
All staff are fantastic and could not be more helpful and straight there if you have any questions..
There did however seem to be a shortage of staff on the day we had breakfast so we did have to wait for the food to be refilled but it was delicious 😋
But all in all I would highly recommend it and will difently be staying again
Thanks for a wonderful stay Bailey's hotel 🏩 ♥ ♥ ♥

Not impressed with the level of customer service provided by this hotel. The location is good and the building is lovely but we will probably not be returning again after this experience.
I. S.
Really lovely place, like a family there.
M. S.
Nice hotel and good location but booking administration poor.
N. P.
The Bailey's has a very helpful staff and concierge. It is centrally located in London right across the street from an underground entrace and three blocks away from Hyde Park. Beautiful building and nice rooms.

Hotel staff are friendly. Check in was really smooth and the front desk staff were really helpful in getting us a room way before the standard check in time!

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Comfortable and clean. The staff we amazing. We will be coming back
N. S.
Room is much smaller than shown online. To make matters worse, even though we reached a day late, the room was dirty. Very very disappointing experience and overpriced room.
S. B.
Love the location. Across the Gloucester road station with great proximity to attractions. We have stayed here a couple of times.
J. H.
Our stay here was fantastic for my wife and I. Staff were very nice and offered exceptional service to us. We could of have not asked for a better hotel to stay in!
C. J.

My My daughter and I were staying in an apartment adjacent to the Millennium Bailey's Hotel
Unfortunately we ran into a very unpleasant situation connected with our luggages
The hotel staff showed us great kindness , especially the head Concierge Sonny Adjetey
He discovered resourcefulness and determination doug successful conclusion of the case
Thank you very much Sonny and other staff

Lovely hotel and an excellent location in South Kensington near the tube. It's a short walk to the Natural History Museum and Kensington Park.

Enjoyed the olives restaurant - unfortunately the welcome and the rest of our stay was not so special. Enjoy the photos and video clips.

Posh. Tiny rooms, but the devil is in the detail. The location is beyond perfect for walking just across the street to the Tube, AND there's Starbucks for the homesick. When I return to London, Bailey's is on my short list.
L. O.
very nice hotel with good spaces.. nice neighbourhood near the station only no accessible entrance which caused me trouble with baby pushchair

Absolutely awful customer service, I have received better service in a B&B, argumentative receptionist, you would think they would want the custom after the last few months.
K. .. F.
Underground station is 10 metre away. Very easy to get anywhere. Hotel is comfy and renewed. Spotless.
A. B.
The interior is great, although it is smaller than it looks on photos. Some staff are quite helpful, but the service attitude can be better at the counter.
