Amazing afternoon tea! They made sure everything was halal for us. The sandwiches and savouries were delicious, as were the desserts although we couldn’t finish them because we had also ordered scones. The scones were fresh and warm and turned out to be complimentary. Service was great and such a large selection of teas. Tea was regularly being refilled and sandwiches being replaced. We particularly enjoyed the festive turkey and cranberry sandwich. Great experience and will definitely visit again!

This hotel was AMAZING! The service, the food the facilities were all fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Was literally treated like such an important person. 100% I would recommend staying here.
I had a slight issue where I couldn't get the bath plug to work-within 5 mins of reporting it, it was fixed.
The food was honestly the best food ever. And my coffee even came with a lady on it.
I also had a cheese board from room service. I had to leave a note on it asking them not to take it when I wasn't there as I couldn't eat it all.
The roof top pool was one of the best things I have seen in a long time. Even though it wasn't a sunny morning, the pool is heated!
My massage at the spa was perfect.
Thanks for the best time!

Amazing experience..we arrived to celebrate my partners birthday. The hotel made sure the stay was special laying on a birthday cake with our meal, also placing another cake in our room 😋 the whole occasion was brilliant. The staff are very professional and polite definitely will return soon.

I did not actually stay here, walking passed and needed to use the facilities. But as a member of the public the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely consider staying (hopefully for my birthday!) and I would recommend anyone who is thinking about staying, as the lobby was warm and inviting. And the facilities were very clean and tidy. In addition to this, they have very beautiful lights outside the front this adds a magical feeling to the place!

A must visit! We've visited a few times, each time the staff give an exceptional service. We enjoyed the afternoon tea, our waiter was very attentive and explained the menu thoroughly. Furnishings are comfortable. Nice toilets!

Did not stay there, but had a dinner inside the hotel (Michelin 1* restaurant). The appearance of the hotel and the hospitality of staff left just the best impressions. Based on their attitude, this one could be considered as a true 5* hotel.

The most incredible hotel experience going. I felt like a princess from the moment I met the butlers out front until the moment I left. The wonderful Berkeley team had thought of my every need plus more. The little touches in the room. The gorgeous venue. The insanely fabulously staff. I wish I could go back. It was a wonderful night following the GQ Car Awards and a huge honour to be there presenting a prize. I highly recommend.

Belated visit but well worth the wait. Food was all you'd hope and expect it to be. Had the 5 course taster menu and enjoyed all them. The place was busy but there was no feeling of it being crowded or making the service slower. Plenty of staff on duty to keep the courses flowing and their friendly approach took any stuffiness that might have been in your mind about such a high class establishment. Hope to repeat the visit and would thoroughly recommend it.

Went to the Berkeley for the Marcus Warring tasting experience OMG the food was outstanding and the service impeccable.
If you like fine dining, good food and good wine this is the experience you must try!

It’s a pleasure always to come to the Berkeley it’s an amazing place to be in London ,
I always enjoy my tea time at the Collins room every day it’s a very glamours and fantastic place , but what makes it better is the service I always get welcomed By Miss **Sally Glaister** she is very kind and smiling person can notice the guest from far and try to welcome me and my family always nicely I really love Her she is so elegant and professional.
While I site in the Collins Room restaurant by a chance I always get served by Mr Marios spanos when ever he come to the table he always trying to make our stay so comfortable and he knows always my orders, he remembers always what I really like what I order every day ,
He is professional and he loves what he is doing that makes it for us we are home
I don’t as in London 2 months ago travel home I came back he remembered me like I was here yesterday that’s more than just a job it’s so warm from his side
As a middle eastern person hospitality it’s always priority and that’s what I found always at the Berkeley with the most amazing Staff
Thank you always Mr Spanos and Mis Glaister
See you next holidays ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

The hotel is simply exquisite and the attention to small details during your stay or dining experience is what truly sets this place apart. Thank you so much for making us feel looked after!

One of my very favorite London Hotel's, always over delivery's, exemplary service from polite staff, impeccable surroundings, amazing selection of wines.
I'm never disappointed.
Highly recommended.

Had my first official tea time here it was an absolute amazing experience I couldn’t be happier, perfect menu and lovey team. Definitely coming back next time I’m in London.

Drinks were very good. Rather small but hey that's life! Beautiful place. Helpful staff. Would go again. A favourite of mine.

Very stylish, traditional, v central. Walking distance to Knightsbr shops and about 100metres from Hyde Park. I was invited to their evening of switching ON their Christmas lights. The Berkley does not do things by halves. I have eaten in their excellent restaurant but never slept there since i live 5 mins away.
G. M.
Always a great dining and also events venue. The food is very well prepared and accommodates large numbers with ease.

Ambivalent is the word I can use to describe the Pret a Portea experience in the Collins Room. I cannot say it was a bad experience because the service was impeccable. I cannot say it's good too because the desserts were not what I would normally be accustomed to in an afternoon tea setting.
Overall, I would rate it like this :-
Service : 5/5 Amazing hospitality, even to the point of explaining about how the afternoon tea experience works i.e. about the absence of scones, about the selection of drinks available and also refills of sandwiches.
Sandwiches : 5/5 Very delectable
Savoury treats : 3/5 The profiterole was not something I would readily eat again. The marinated cherry tomatoes were good though. Very refreshing.
Desserts : 2/5 Looked good but tastewise, only the Versace, Valentino and Halpern ones were good to eat. The others, not so in my opinion. Especially the Tod's one, something was off about the combination and perhaps the green icing. Unfortunately my child felt sick immediately after eating that and we had to rush to the restroom where she threw up. (Sorry too much info).
All in all, this was definitely a one off experience for me, and probably not return in the forseeable future. We paid £101.25 including service charge for the 2 of us.

Nice setting for an afternoon tea , really nice designs , however the pastries were way to sweet . Very pricey
M. G.
Great service amazing afternoon tea ☕️

The afternoon tea was very special and the staff explained everything thoroughly. It was a fun experience and I would really recommend having afternoon tea here if you wanted something special and different.

Great afternoon tea, catered for all dietary requirements
A. J.
Good food but service level was way below average
D. M.
I went for the Pret a portea afternoon tea on a Sunday. It was lovely although I did miss the scones and cream. The cakes amd sandwiches and loved that they gave us extra tea and sandwiches. A lovely afternoon treat.
H. A.
On of the best Hotels that I stayed in, in London.
During my civil and stays there I’ve never faced any problem they have very good service the stove is always welcoming and the quality of food is marvelous.
Positioned in a very good location where everything is around you the hide park is few steps away Located in a Unique location between Knights Bridge and Mayfair.

Beach Huts - Sophia, our waitress was absolutely delightful. I had a small toddler with me and Sophia and the rest of the staff were so helpful and sweet to my little one. The seafood was amazing and we enjoyed our afternoon thoroughly.
M. N.
Was invited to a coporate, set dinner at the Marcus....stunning experience. Exceptional food with great presentation; attentive service, attention to detail.
K. G.
Delicious food, fine wine, knowledgeable and helpful staff (but not over intrusive). Tables are well spaced in what feels to be a calm and civilised room. Innovative dishes (loved the burata with crisp sugar and olives) as well as classic combinations (strawberry and meringue with elderflower). Excellent wine pairings
A. S.
We had a King Balcony room, the most incredible bed I have ever slept in, I never wanted to get out of it, the balcony and view amazing, am in love with the Berkeley, such a very special place and the staff all so kind, polite and nothing is too much to ask for, thank you for an unforgettable weekend! Ps. The loo fabulous too!
S. S.
Always a pleasure to eat here. Lovely staff and delicious food. Will be returning soon.
A. M.
Nicely renovated. But reserve predominantly for the middle Eastern crowd.
a. m.
After a slight mixup on rooms with my most recent stay, they went above and beyond to rectify their mistake. Everyone understands mistakes happen, it's always the response to the mistake which leaves the lasting impression. Looking forward to the next stay
J. S.
Delicious seafood, lovely atmosphere! Service was extremely slow and inattentive, very friendly just not on it- hence 4 stars

Fantastic service in lovely surroundings. The food was excellent too.

Inspired on those european small wooden made beach houses styles on the shores, this hotel decided to created a very nice outside area that definitely must be visited. Their staff, food and drinks could not be better. Highly recommended.
M. L.
Fortunate enough to attend Marcus Waring's Chef's table - an exquisite evening of gastronomic spectacle with exceptional service from the chef team and waiting staff. A memorable experience almost akin to one's own MasterChef occasion!!
S. A.
Marcus for lunch was outstanding food drinks flavours textures and impeccable service
L.
I came here for a short meeting and grabbed a fresh orange juice from the bar. It was a lovely atmosphere and a very classy feel. I felt out of place because it’s so lovely. Staff were friendly and I would like to come back to try their food!
C. D.
The beach huts are amazing, a great menu and lots of fun, even if the weather was not great the team found ways to keep everyone dry and warm! Good old british summer...
Staff are amazing as always
c. b.
Did our first afternoon tea and was very impressed
D. H.
Beautiful hotel ..go find out for yourselves .you will not be disappointed
M. L.
Amazing experience! The afternoon tea has been a great journey through flavours and fashion brands. Service was smooth and very good. Environment was relaxed and very classy. The price was reasonable for what you get. The only complaint should be that I ended up eating way too much ahahah!
N. G.
Excellent service at the cocktail bar / drinks lounge and fantastic aesthetics which you leaving wanting to explore every area of The Berkeley Hotel.
K.
Absolutely amazing. The room was really spacious and perfect in every way. The towels and robes were really soft and fluffy. The bed was the nicest I've ever stayed in.

This hotel has been amazing it has given 5 star treatment to the emergency services and key workers. During this time of uncertainty they have taken it upon themselves to make sure hard working key workers and emergency get a hot drink and hot meal. I just want to say this hotel looks after the people who have to go to work to keep London going. They are just legends and I can't thank them enough for showing such generosity and kindness during this dark time. Thank you thank you thank you.
K. S.
Oh my days! Such a wonderful treat! Everything was perfect, from the welcome, the ambience, the staff (thank you Angelo!!) And of course the food @Marcus was divine. Thank you!
D. E.
Vey nice hotel and our suite upgrade was very much appreciated!! 😁
L. K. (.
Went for lunch with a friend so only relates to food service - Nice service but food was a bit underwhelming. Veal schnitzel tasted nice but was served lukewarm and fries were soggy. That said the sticky chicken was very good.
Decor was that special blend of expensive looking but slightly tasteless. A bit "Mehh"
K. K.
Taste of Food and Quality of food Excellent
T. K.
Had afternoon tea. I have to say this is the 1st afternoon where I have loved everything, from savoury to sweet. The service was excellent, a warm and friendly atmosphere and the selection of teas were great. The mocktail was delicious. I thought the price was slightly expensive when originally booked but it's all about heard so much about the afternoon tea so had to try it and it was worth every penny. Thank for a fab time and great hospitality.
R. G.
It was amazing! I've had afternoon tea here before and never stayed. In the current climate they were hot on safety, very smiling and also super patient. Will certainly stay again.

The Marcus Waring restaurant has recently reopened following lockdown. It was a stupendous lunch, the menu although reduced has plenty of choice. The service was excellent. Can't wait to go back! Oh and nearly forgot, saw the great man himself taking a quick tour of the restaurant 😊

This hotel donated their food, bubbles and staff to St Paul's and as always did it in style.
J. C.
Lovely lunch on the Terrace .Nerijus and his team took care of us !
One of the best outside dining experiences in Central London.
What being a Londoner is all about- Its always a treat.
V. *.
Outside space is nice, with heated seats, terrace food menu really nice, we had the hot dogs, squid and cauliflower all delicious, outside isn't as spacious as the photos on the site. Can go for a nice walk after at Hyde Park
L. W.
Fantastic afternoon tea with exemplary service
H. B.
Went here with the family for afternoon tea, fantastic personal service, very beautiful surroundings and decor and a Dior themed dessert tray. A lovely day out shared and enjoyed with loved ones. A very worthwhile treat. For Muslims looking to indulge also there is a Halaal option available, you only need to inform the staff when booking. We have always found the Berkeley to be very accommodating.
H. A.
Went to the spa here and absolutely loved it. They were so kind, attentive and it was high end, without being pompous. Highly recommend. Also had lunch by the rooftop pool and it was lovely
P. F.
We went there for the afternoon tea.
The service was good, but were missing the vibes, the staff was not smile at all, music was very low , so the sound of the people in the room was very loud.
The presentation of the food was very nice and sophisticated, the collaboration with Dior is definitely good touch.
Definitely over priced for what they offer.

Like at home. All the Staff is so lovely as well as helpful and the Managers professionals. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner were an amazing experience as well as their Cocktail Bar. Love to be pampered in The Berkeley, hope to be able to visit them again soon.
T. E.
The Afternoon Tea and the whole experience was top notch
G. D.
A great hotel with all the trimmings. Have been going here for many years and love how off the beaten track it feels, but still in the heart of London outside Knightsbridge.
You’re a short walk from Hyde park, about 20 mins walk from Victoria or an even shorter cab ride from there.
Coming into the hotel it oozes class. The set up of the main bar is lovely, the dining area is relaxed but beautifully set up and the staff are always super helpful.
We were there for an occasion this week and during Covid the staff were all masked, spaced out and considerate.
The food was great, we just popped for a snack and for kids they even serve nuggets and fries so everyone is catered for.
Thoroughly recommend the Berkeley to anyone visiting London who fancies a treat.
M. M.
Incredibly lovely hotel with friendly and attentive staff. The drive through support and generosity through Coronavirus they have also shown to the emergency services is something that is massively grateful and appreciated by every single one of them. Thank you
T.
Second visit since lockdown restrictions were lifted. Very good food, drinks do add up though. Staff working hard and maybe tired but most are very good. Excellent location and venue.
S. W.
Taxis always available on rank outside.

Dinner at Marcus at the Berkeley. Special occasion. Had a fantastic time.
A. G.
Pre dinner drinks at the Blue Bar. The service was fantastic and our waiter kept us amused. We were there for my mum's birthday and they bought a surprise dessert and candles for her and made her feel very special. We had a couple of rounds of cocktails and bottle of champagne which we really enjoyed. Would highly recommend the bar. Top tip book in advance.

Great place, good food and cure bar
B. O.
Beautiful hotel and restaurant thank you
A. D.
Afternoon tea is great. Fresh sandwiches and desserts in addition to variety of tea and coffee (with supplement prices for the rare ones and, surprisingly, scones). At the price exceeding £70/person, we still don't understand why scones are not included.
S. M.
What can I say except exquisite, from start to finish. Marcus is a gem of a restaurant with exceptional food and staff to match. It doesn't come cheap but if you like a bit of luxury and opulence in your life boy is it worth every penny! The bar in the hotel is very enjoyable for a little aperitif before your meal also!
T. M.
The rooms are relative to European standard in terms of size but very comfortable. The staff treats everyone like a celebrity and are kind and attentive without being cloying. The staff in the staff were great and showed us the ropes. Love this hotel and defiantly worth a visit for business or pleasure.
M. D.
Absolutely excellent - lovely staff throughout the hotel. Requests gets dealt with immediately and in a very friendly manner. The staff will do anything to make it happen, whatever your request may be. Extremely clean and tidy. Fantastic area for shopping and fine dining. Great place for kids and adults for relaxing. We stayed for my husbands 45th birthday surprise and the team went out of their way to plan every minute of our stay full of surprises for my husband. I would highly recommend it and I would stay there again.
P. S.
Good atmosphere, courteous, helpful waiters. Great food and wine...with well chosen wines to accompany the food.
A. N.
Marcus Restsurant's chef's table was OUTSTANDING. A once in a lifetime experience. Not to be missed.

It's impossible not to like this place. Obviously it is expensive but the experience is perfect. From the way they greet you to taking your coat, showing you to your table, the food is amazing and so on. And there are all the things they don't do. No one shouts "enjoy" at you or interrupts you to ask if everything is alright. Service is discreet but attentive. A really nice touch, at the end of afternoon tea, with about 12 "designer" cakes left over, they presented them in elegant cake boxes. If you are really well off you probably don't care but for the rest of us it is a perfect goodbye.
S. L.
We came here for a special event and hired out the ballroom for an Afternoon Tea event. The staff were great and really helpful. The pistachio macarons were amazing. The cloakroom access was great and the toilets were even lovely.
S. A.
Cannot fault the food but we were a little disappointed by the service. Delay in coming to take our order, delay in staff bringing food and couldn’t get anyone attention for a refill of water. My friend has emailed in advance letting them know it was my birthday, there was a personalised card for me on the table which was a nice touch, however we saw many people receive a birthday platter with a candle, which I didn’t receive. We were also not offered more sandwiches, our plates were cleared away and we had to sheepishly ask for more.
M. P.
Impressive. Called in for lunch and coffees. Superb service, incredibly attentive staff. Couldn’t have been better.
The ‘Collins’ room is the bot facing the front on the ground floor and doubles up as a lounge bar during the daytime, and breakfast room for residents in the early morning. Highly recommended.
L. P.
This place is elegance at its finest. Have been a number of times for afternoon tea and the foods always been exceptional. We’ve had gluten free requests and there really has been no difference in food quality. Can’t wait to go back!
A. A. M.
Nice hotel with very friendly staff and near to all what you need. Lobby is a bit small but very nice decoration. Rooms are big enough and nice decor. Bathroom is big and clean. The hotel is expensive and with lower price you can find similar hotels around.
T. L. K. U.
Had a wonderful afternoon with Dior afternoon tea. I think the pictures say it all great pastry work and sandwiches not bad either. Would recommend only down side was £40 for a glass of champagne is bit pricey.
C. G.
We had a fabulous time
We had bites from the bar menu to share between the three of us (crispy baby squid + hot dog + chips)
It was so good we wanted more
So we then had some meat (T Bone + Burger + mash potato ❤️❤️❤️ + veggies + chips) and then the cheesecake
The service was absolutely PERFECT
- thanks Peter and your dear colleague -
We tested the champagne, some gin cocktails (French lavender gin), a bottle of red wine that I highly recommend - frog leap merlot, Rutherford 2015 - and cognac to finish.
That was a (short) night we won't forget
Merci
T. L.
By far one of the most beautiful hotels I've seen, and 6 star service! Definitely a place where one dresses up and doesn't feel out of place. Afternoon tea was fabulous, but the pastries were not as intricate as the photos online, which was only slightly disappointing. Flavors and presentation made up for it. Beautiful and lovely experience!
T. M.
Our room on the 8th floor was cosy and very well made up. A very discreet but friendly staff. The cleaning team are truly exceptional and turn around a room service in seconds flawlessly. On the whole, a lovely experience and a really nice idea for a birthday / anniversary etc.
M. G.
We booked afternoon tea and got a place at The Berkeley Hotel with no fuss with only a couple of days notice. It was a lovely afternoon, staff very friendly & helpful. However I did find it strange that they did not have scones as part of their afternoon tea standard selection. We had to request for scones separately. We had a good time and literally spent over 4hrs drinking tea. This was definitely a good afternoon tea experience!

An excellent place for breakfast. A lot of healthy options including gluten free and dairy free alternatives. My favourite is their home made vanilla yogurt with granola & berries. Their avocado toast with feta cheese and poached eggs is very good. Excellent service and attentive staff. Lighting very welcoming with positive energy atmosphere. Bakes and teas available. Good accessibility and free wifi available. The rooms are spacious and have been refurbished; the whites are always a comforting choice that complement the window views.
R. G.
Thank you to the very kind staff giving our emergency services hot refreshments. Gives us all a moral boost. Beautiful hotel too.
L. A.
Great ambience. Beautiful place

Amazing 7 course tasting lunch. It does not get any better than this. In my opinion the best dining room in London. Well done Marcus!
L.
Wonderful week stay here, excellent location for shopping and Hyde Park walks. Amazing staff, delicious breakfast with home made pastries daily. Very attentive servers and doormen. Really enjoyed our stay. Room was beautiful. Great attention to detail. Well done.
M. K.
I am a front line Key Worker and have been visiting the Berkeley Hotel recently, where the Hotel has arranged/prepared and giving it to all front line Key Workers. The Berkeley Hotel should be highly commended for this efforts and this gesture.
I personally like to Thank all the staff involved and the other organizations/individuals who donated towards this good will gesture. Hero's too...🤗
L. C.
New “apartment” stunning. Spent a glorious weekend there where we were treated perfectly by all the staff. From the doormen to guest relations manager, everyone is happy to help and are trained to a great standard.
L. I. V.
The best afternoon tea in London. The hotel is in walkable distance to Selfridges & Harrods, so it is a great start or end to a shopping trip. The afternoon tea theme changes and I have attended the london fashion week themed and the dior themed afternoon. Both were very detailed, instagramable, and creative. When you walk up the stairs inside, the restaurant with the afternoon tea is to the right. When standing in front of the restaurant entrance the toilets are to the left. The restaurant is not too keen on selfie sticks on a stand, however the waitresses are very friendly and generous about taking pictures. There is usuallt a different theme and storyline so it never gets boring to go for afternoon tea at The Berkley. In the end you receive a cut box to take leftovers with you.
Y. X.
Went to their Beach Hut for our mini celebration. Absolutely luscious food, professional service and amazing atmosphere and deco
C. P.
This place is spectacular on every level. The seasonal decorations over the front entrance of the building really are close to being considered a certain spectacular sight of the Great City. The staff are so well mannered it hurts, and they all talk so slowly and clearly that sometimes you forget about the rugged and the rough speaking reality we surround ourselves in. Upon entry everything is so clean and so pure that it just makes you want to take off all your clothes, curl up into a ball and just lay there smelling the strawberry scented carpet. It goes without saying I'm not allowed in there anymore but you have to believe me, this place is honestly amazing.
D. L.
Truly a five star experience...take lots of money.
J. R.
What a wonderful experience as a family of three. The service was excellent and attentive. Value for money and friendly. Pleasant environment and clean. Will definitely go back again.
M. J.
Great place, went to my wife's company Christmas Party and it was excellent. Food was great along with a very professional service by the waiters and waitresses. A good night was had by all.
L. F.
Amazing employees specially Daniel at restaurant, good service and polite, thanks to make us feel at home... the restaurant is inside the hotel on the right side of the entrance, you can go for afternoons tea, meetings or any event, tea is amazing and food is highly prepared with amazing flavors and designed. I really recommend this place, i hope you enjoyed like we did.
M. S.
Amazing. Perfect decor, service, staff nothing whatever to fault.
N. V.
Amazing experience, used Amex to pay as of you spend over a certain amount you get £25 back which was great. Our waitor was very explanatory, sandwiches were soft and very tasty, desserts were based on fashion. Highly recommended for all!
A. S.
Very expensive but interesting for us as tourists. The pastries were pretty and unique. I don't think we could be be regular customers because we can't appreciate the subtleties of the tea flavors. Wonderful staff.
M. B.
Visited the bar only. Good service.
N. A.
The Berkeley is a very beautiful spacious luxury hotel at the heart of London. The service staff are great. It is very English. I did not fancy the food as much as some of my British colleagues did. It was a good opportunity to go there but it won't be my first choice in the future. This is a famous hotel and not difficult to reach. It is in a good location and not very far from Harrods Hyde Park, the Natural History Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum.
R. S.
Exquisite service. Warm, friendly staff, superb breakfast include. Excellent shops dining within minutes. Amaya Indian the best restaurant. Same management bas Claridges and Connaught but much more welcoming.
p. c.
Well if you have the money why not you will be treated like royalty here. Best to enjoy everything that it has to offer. Would always have a meal. The food is out of this world. Would defo recommend to anyone that wants to stay in London with a touch of class
C. B.
Visited the haybarn spa, absolutely fantastic service and treatment. I took my niece for a manicure for her birthday and the staff were friendly and made sure she felt special and the occasion was marked. Definitely one of my favourite spas in London, the pool area (which I used on a previous visit) is also really nice.
O. H.
The Blue Bar is a great place for late night cocktails and the hotel itself is stunning. If you are looking for the best location to see this part of town, this is the place for you. Waiting staff in the bar were also very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
M. C.
We went to eat at Marcus at The Berkeley and, as we arrived 45 minutes early, decided to have coffee. I am a wheelchair user and every member of staff made us feel welcome and could not have been more helpful. The Doormen made sure that we got inside with no hassle (one gentleman even waited for the lift and accompanied us inside). He made sure that another member of staff knew why we were there and could help accessing wherever we needed to go. The lounge was really busy so they served our coffees (which come with snacks & biscuits!) in the bar. Service was excellent and I felt that I was treated with respect and not made to feel different or an inconvenience (which some hotels do. Thank you to all the staff.

The best Afternoon Tea ever!!!!! And I've been to a lot .... I've taken so many friends and we can never stay away for too long! It's fresh, changing with the seasons and times and no experience is the same which I love!!! The revamp done months ago is just an added bonus as it was amazing before! Definitely the wow factor... I can't get enough ... I'll be back soon. ❤️❤️❤️ if you've never been, book it now! You won't be disappointed.
Z. S.
If you love fashion you have to visit the Berkeley for their high fashion afternoon tea. The afternoon tea is based on current trends including designers like Vera Wang, Tom Ford etc. The decor is beautiful and everything was designed purposefully.
The service was great, they explained everything about the food and the fashion inspired pieces.
We had a lovely time here and I would highly recommend it!
C. B. M.
Great service, make sure you book the restaurant in advance! Super friendly staff, all covered up and there's hand sanitisers everywhere !
S. W.
Afternoon tea with some friends... everything was delish and amazing presentation. A bit pricey, but if you're looking for a treat with the ladies, this is a fantastic place.
S. C.
Took a party there after tour of London on double deck Routemaster from Omnibuzz.co.uk
T. C.
We had the most beautiful high tea at The Berkeley this afternoon, the cakes, savoury bites and sandwiches were delicious and unique, the room had a warm inviting modern ambience, and excellent service. I would rate the overall experience up there with The Ritz and The Savoy
T. M.
I have visited this hotel over ***y years and found it to be top class. I recently stayed at the Berkeley for my birthday celebration and the staff couldn't do enough for us including an upgrade. I stayed on the 3rd floors in deluxe room had the most comfortable bed.
N. H.
Bar has been refurbished slightly with the terrace being redesigned. It is a bit too modern for my liking and doesnt really fit with the hotel. Apart from this the drinks were excellent and the service great as it always is at this fantastic hotel.
T. M.
We were thrilled to be accommodated at the Berkeley as our dates in London changed at the last minute. All staff up here extremely friendly and helpful and on the ball. The taxi rank outside is well serviced. It's worth the extra hundred a night if you can find a good rate.
J. &. P. C.
I was gifted The Mum-to-Be spa package at the Haybarn Spa at The Berkeley Hotel. Received an amazing lunch and spa treatments by Brenda, followed by a couple of hours at their wonderful pool with a view. Lovely service all around - would highly recommend!
T. S.
The staff were very friendly, and the food was amazing would highly recommend.

Was just treated to a superb champagne afternoon tea by some girlfriends for my birthday. It was wonderful - delicious sandwiches and savoury treats, lovely champagne, gorgeous aromatic tea (have the rose Ceylon) and the cakes were works of art as well as tasting out of this world. They boxed a few cakes for me to take home and even gave an extra one (in the shape of an anya hindmarch fox clutch!) to my friend for her little girl. Decor beautiful, surroundings luxurious and comfortable, and service excellent.

Simply Awesome stay at The Berkely, Hotel. It was amazing experience to be there in the centre of the city with a varied beautiful locations and the best serving experience in the Hotel with great hospitality, uniformity, rich culture, Collins room lunch was well treated and breakfast was alarming and delicious and yoga, music, structure and designs altogether that which really blow our mind to be there in the end of the 2018 and start of this year to enjoy along with famiy on New Eve especially with great homly experience. Thanks to all the hotel staffs who undertake us for a short time and made our precious time memorable. Looking forward to visit again.
L.
Thank you so much for feeding the emergency services with your amazing, contact-free drive through. It's so appreciated and one less thing to worry about on shift. Incredibly grateful!
T. M.
Our experience at this hotel was superlative. I love it when a globally renowned hotel takes the time to source the best staff from around the world, it shows they really believe in this place and its longevity. Terrible attitude and it reflects in the way staff treat guests.
E. M.
It is our place in London to stay, has undergone a spectacular renovation, rooms are quiet, spacious and comfortable. Convenient to Sloan Street shopping and Hyde Park. Underground is a block away. The staff is top notch and very helpful.
R. E.
I approached the Berkley via their website to enquire about having our wedding reception there. They replied within 48 hours and were really helpful. Although they turned out to be out of our price range, I really appreciated their honest and straightforward approach when I gave them my budget.
M. G.
Great food at Marcus although restaurant timing was off during our visit. We arrived at 7:45pm left at 11:30pm. Other diners were able to arrive as leave having had the same meal before us. Pretty poor form.
M. D.
Amazing hotel and venue. Staff are superb and friendly but not overbearing. Great location situated next to the heart of London and just across from Hyde Park. The recent renovation of this hotel has been a major plus.
d. w.
Great hotel great staff
D. L.
What an amazing afternoon tea experience! We went for a special occaision and all the staff really made it special. plenty of food and drinks for all. Amazing cake creations and we were certainly not leaving wanting more!
Highly recommended!
T. M.
Out of this world, this was a birthday treat and I enjoyed every minute of my stay at the Berkeley, our room was amazing, thank you Lillian for the birthday message. Had dinner at Marcus Restaurant which was absolutely spectacular. A big thank you to all - Excellent
B. M.
I was here because we were filming an interview with somebody famous. The staff in the hotel treated everybody in the crew as if we were a list celebrities. I can only imagine how wonderful it must be to stay here.
R. F.
I was stunned with this place. I have had afternoon tea I'm many places and this one is by far for me one of the best. The designs and the flavours are amazing and the service is lovely. Please give this place a try.

“With my husband, we spent 2 nights in a suite with terrace.
On the bright side :
- location/view
- service
On the negative side :
- very noisy halls even at night (thin doors)
- poor quality bedding (causing very bad sleep)
- the king size bed is actually a combination of 2 beds, which is unacceptable for a so-called luxurious suite
We left the hotel more tired than when we arrived. Too bad...
I would not recommend this hotel for a nice and quiet stay”
T. M.
Stayed here last weekend after a recommendation from a friend who visited recently. THE ROOM My favourite room in the world is the Berkeley Suite and I stayed here for a few nights whilst wedding dress shopping. Good location for the Royal …
M. R.
Staying at The Berkeley is quite an experience.
The rooms are quite nice and comfortable. I have stayed in some rooms that are a nice comfortable size and some that are a little smaller, but work just fine.
The staff is everything you would expect at a luxury London hotel. The Blue Bar is a cool place to hangout for a drink with either friends or a client.
Can't go wrong with The Berkeley.
E. J.
The best and certainly, most creative afternoon tea in London! Pret-a-Portea is everything afternoon tea in such a fashion forward city like this should be.
The Berkeley is everything you'd expect from a high-class hotel, beautiful lobby entrance with friendly door men to welcome you. The staff are smartly outfitted and even if you can't afford to be a guest in one of the rooms, you are treated exactly as if you were.
The dining room itself is beautifully furnished, with plush seating and high backed sofas for larger groups and the staff are extremely attentive and will go above and beyond to make sure you have a unforgettable experience.
The afternoon tea itself change each fashion season - Autumn/Winter to Spring/Summer collections are used as inspiration for the various cakes, mouses and treats on offer. We've visited a few times and eaten everything from green tea Chanel handbags, chocolate Stella McCartney boot shaped biscuits to Valention gown inspired mouse. Everyone being as delicious as the next!
The presentation is beautiful, the drinks selection is wide and varied and all refillable at no extra cost - aside from the champagne. The plates of your afternoon cakes and savouries are also refillable, and the staff will be on hand to ask if you'd like it refreshed once a plate it empty. Which I find excellent value for money - considering how beautifully crafted everything is and the amount of time you could sit and indulge yourself! Whatever you can't manage to finish will be placed in cute little take out boxes for you to take home.
Be warned, the waiting list is months long to get yourself a table here but you won't regret it! It's an experience you'll be hard pushed to ever beat.
S. L.
Good quality afternoon tea, the positive is it is refillable, the negative is no scones included. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and the food was good, a handful of criticisms though: one of the waitresses had several tears in the back of her uniform, it looked as though they had been there for a while, very surprised her manager allowed her to work like that; I had a small piece of glad wrap plastic on one dish, they gave us free scones to apologise; the handbag dessert did not look identical to the ones in the photo gallery, it looked a bit shabby to be honest and only had one handle not two as pictured; when arriving the waitier hovered trying to put the napkin on your lap as you are trying to settle in, a bit more space until I settle would be appreciated, on the other hand i had to keep requesting more water and paying the bill was slow.
D. H.
Stayed in a suite for a couple nights. Very attentive and friendly, beautiful room. Good restaurants and food, only small thing no music in rooms other than the TV. Would thoroughly recommend and definitely stay again.
A. G.
This is my go to Hotel Everytime I visit London .. the room is very nice and cozy and the staffs are very nice and helpful. The location is also very strategic, it is within walking distance to Harvey Nichols Dept store as well as Harrods. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting London
S. P.
At this crunching time, they are providing free tea and lunch to all key workers with the same hospitality and care.... Thank you so much for being the best example of socially responsible corporate, a GEM !!
j. t. h.
It was more then I could wish for . An amazing place to stay ,with service 2nd to none.
Rooms, food and service. Highly recommended.
T. M.
The room was small but it is central London. That's right, we paid 2500 pounds a night for the privilege of feeling the trains rumble through every 10 minutes. I only had a green tea which came in a teapot and was poured for me by a very smart waiter.
T. G.
Great hotel, beautiful decor, food and massage facilities. The staff made the stay extra special Jimmy on the concierge was brilliant, he took care of everything and nothing was a problem with a great sense of humor. Really made the stay perfect. Thankyou Jimmy
T. M.
We had a very comfortable stay at the Berkeley for my birthday. We were given a free upgrade as it was our anniversary. We spent most of the day on the rooftop pool which was perfect just winding down, dip in the pool and a sit on the chairs.
I. T.
Beautiful place to eat, have a drink or stay. The food in the restaurant is great and for the price is excellent quality. The bar and restaurant has excellent service and ambience. Would reccomend it for a romantic evening out.
X. W.
The Blue Bar at the Berkeley is a must-visit for trendy but unpretentious drinks. I had a martini, a negroni and a whisky sour and they were all absolutely perfect and served with spicy nibbles and a welcome smile from the staff. The seats are comfortable and there's a versatile blend of dark corner booths in the main bar area and bright airy seats in the conservatory. The custom cocktails looked delightful and I'll be going back to try them very soon.
C. H.
My friend asked how much! Yes it's expensive! However I went for coffee and Sandwich and space to sit quietly and work on laptop. And Im happy to pay £7 for a coffee and £15 for the sandwich as it's the experience that comes with that in comfortable surroundings in the Blue bar, excellent staff and the coffee and sandwiches lovely. Especially as I am vegan and they were very happy to ablige with my needs. Fresh, delicious and creative fillings. Definately will go again.
S. F.
Amaaaazing in everything the location the hotel the restaurant and staff
The staff I cannot say enough about them so kind and nice service
We order 2 afternoon tea for 135 pound
I loved the cakes they inspired by dior dresses, perfume, shoes, jaket and bags
I highly recommend this place
S. L.
Marcus restaurant: Great venue and wonderful service. The food was almost perfect so they do deserve their Michelin star, not quite two stars but above a single star - one and a half if it was possible.
P. G.
Went here for a girly afternoon tea- Pret-a-portea. The staff knew exactly what was going on, I had a friend who was a vegetarian who they provided for well, the cakes, macroons, mouses were all delicious! But the best thing was their tea selection, which was unlimited, we sat there and tried about 6 different flavours (pear was my favourite) and the staff also advised different teas for different courses. We sat there for 4 hours!!! It is so far the best afternoon tea I have ever had!!!
Z. M.
Took my parents to The Berkeley for The Christian Dior afternoon tea, it is expensive but it's worth the experience. However 12.5% service charge on top l feel is a little steep
C. ..
Tea here was quite lovely. -1 star because because I was charged extra for the cup of tea I had 10min before the arrival of my friend (which is the same tea included in the set menu we ordered)
L. F.
Afternoon tea is very expensive at £85 and you can't give up alcohol on the menu at £15. Good service.
T. M.
Hotel is perfectly located just minutes from hyde park. From the moment we set foot in the lobby until we got on the train back to Paris, the staff at this hotel went above and beyond exceeding all of our expectations. The street is quiet but you are steps away from Harrods.
W. R.
They forgot our booking but recovered hard and comped our meal. Well played Berkeley
A. R.
Great service, a special thank you to Catherine in the events team for helping us with a private event. Very cooperative and patient with our requests.
K. A. R.
The rooms, lobby, services and location is quiet good. I loved the experience there, however I had to Rate it 4/5 due to prices compared to other luxury hotel with the same standard and facilities and same seasons.
R. G.
Ate in the Marcus Wearing restaurant. Top end menu, wine, service. Everything you'd expect from a 5 star restaurant. As was the bill!! Highly recommended.
J. A.
We held a wedding here and cannot praise it enough. Everybody was so helpful and accommodating. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
P. B.
I visited Berkley during a full day banking event. I found tge staff to be very helpful and polite. The food and drinks were served in a timely and professional manner and quality of the service was quite good.
V. D.
Since I have moved to London. We come many times. My compatriots all are living nearby. Bar is good also. They also can speak Russian when we have our friends from home
M.
Beautiful dining room, attentive but non intrusive service, exquisite food and a great wine list. Shame about the scaffold on the building but hey ho, has to happen at some time.
F. I.
I went there for an event and I was amazed by the quality of the service.
The staff make you feel like a king.
There is attention to detail to a high degree. The catering for the event was supreme!
R. L.
One of London's top hotels - currently going though a massive revamp. It's clear to see why this place is a London Landmark. The service is exemplary and I can't wait to see what the new facelift brings.
C. C.
We stayed here for 10 days. Really loved it. The staff are exceptional. We will be returning for our next visit.
C.
Thank you for a wonderful stay at a very stressful time ... you made our stay amazing ... I would like to thank all the wonderful staff with a special request to Aiden... He went above and beyond to meet all our needs, even staying back an extra hour to find out how my wife's scan went ... He made us feel like part of the Berkley family .... again thank you for a wonderful time
M. P.
The Blue bar is the best cocktail bar in town as far as I am concerned. The staff are attentive and I always have a memorable visit.
B. M.
Great stay. Excellent service
M. S.
Wonderful hotel, perfect in every ways, The room, staffs, and service too. The taste of food at Marcus was also flawless
A. E.
Went for the afternoon tea with the family for my mum's birthday and we all had a wonderful time. The cakes and pastries were out of his world.
F. V.
Had a 60 minute relaxing massage at The Haybarn Spa inside the Berkeley hotel. The whole experience was amazing, with excellent service from the moment I walked in. The spa receptionist was very helpful, explaining the facilities and arranging for a tea to be ready when I was in the waiting room. The therapist Nicoletta was extremely caring and friendly on top of giving me a very relaxing massage experience, asking questions to ensure everything was going well for me. I wasn't being rushed to get out of the room, I could take my time and then could relax by the pool upstairs. Brilliant experience, absolutely recommended.
J. W. B.
Excellent location in the heart of London, friendly and knowledgeable staff who remember your name and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, however the carpeting and upholstery in the reception area and hallways are quite worn and in desperate need of refreshing.
R. D. P.
I worked there as a waiter for a while. Good quality food. Nice staff. The female managers and their closer colleagues are chatty in a negative way.
B.
Great location... Beautiful
G. D.
Amazon food and atmosphere, our clients loved it.
N. C.
The professional photos is nicer then a actual, this is a bit small size and old, well may be London central is very expensive to have a little bigger size? Service is very good, clean, just don’t expect to be too old then is fine.
Y. B.
Great hotel with convenient and nice rooms. The reception is a bit awkward, but the location is great and the amenities are very good. Luxury place accordingly priced
A. A.
Had the most fabulous out-of-lockdown outdoor dining experience at The Berkley Beach Huts on Sunday. The setting was beautiful, the backdrop of a 5-star hotel combined with the fun of the British seaside. The menu was creative and fun - we started with classic margarita cocktails, then rock oysters with the most amazing umami sauce, followed by tomahawk steak and finishing with some playful little doughnuts with three different sauces. What really set this apart for us was the service, Sophia from Portugal was an absolute star - witty, friendly and professional. We'll be back!
S. R. A.
Best hotel in London. Hands down. Best service, gorgeous rooms, incredible food, and spa. You cannot best the Berkeley.
R. F.
Not my cup of tea. Can't fault the staff or facilities. Maybe I'm too down to earth, but these guys working there deserve their pay packet plus some! (Non-aggressive). Thank you.
K. K.
fun tea. pret-a-portea - fashion themed tra service is definitely popular, though tastes of them have q bit to be desired - just as in fashion, appearance supercedes substance.
overall fantastic service and experience. book table early as it gets crowded.
L. L.
Just wonderful afternoon tea at it's best.
M. T.
Absolutely amazing. The staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.
