Reviews of The Birds Hostel
It is all good for that price range. The rooms are in reasonable condition, fresh white linen, comfortable mattress. You have shower rooms and toilets in same level, what are usually clean and in fair condition. It is true the cleaning in the rooms are not the best. The price is inclusive of free breakfast. Downstairs have the pub where you have 20% discount. Only problematic part, they don't have proper lockers for your backpack or suitcase. They have a very small size lockers where only fits a small backpack. Be prepared and bring your own padlock, and never leave high value there as they are not responsible for any loss.
Great accommodation, recently had new locks and access system fitted so very secure, too.
Showers aren't the greatest, you get what you pay for however with breakfast included cant complain too much.
Getting good vibes so far. 20% off everything, might be a little out the way but it's a decent effort for price and availability x
Good hostel. Quiet. 6 people per room in bunks. Low rates.
Good place to sit and hang out. Chill music is played and beer is fine.
Good, clean . Will stay again if required.
Nice place, but without kitchen!
Quaint. This side of town is small, yet rowdy.
Great! On top of a bar
Very lovly hostel
Bed was comfortable, clean sheets, clean room, but the shower was meh. I would recommend bringing some sort of flip flops or shower shoes. The bathrooms were nice as well and the staff was helpful. You’ll have to ride the bus or the subway for a few minutes to get to the city but overall not too far away. Thanks for the stay!
Value for money!
Love this hostel
(Translated) Yes, it's not clean, but the price is great, and the rooms are quiet. I love the place and it is close to "The Underground". The bar on the ground floor is cute, but it is a problem for people who prefer the mornings because the sound that resonates from the bar easily pierces the floor of the rooms until the early hours.

I was able to stay cheaply from Hostelworld. You can have a late breakfast at the bar starting at 9am. Cornflakes are delicious. The three-tiered bed is narrow. I hit my head. If the person in the bed above stinks, you can smell it directly. The wifi is poor and cuts out every now and then (^ω^)
Cozy and native place. Dirty sinks. The rooms are cleaned one day a week. Very complete breakfast. Very nice waitresses.
cheap price My pillow was dirty, people snore. There are no sockets in the room except sockets next to the bed, so it's not that convenient to charge large things. In short, you can find much better hostels at a more expensive price but still cheap in areas close to the center
The people are friendly and the location in the heart of Leytonstone is good, steps from the underground, but the cleanliness of the place leaves a lot to be desired, dirty rooms and very very dirty bathrooms and showers
(Translated) Very good for the price and the independence that you have

Muito bom pelo preço e a independência q vc tem
When I arrived I was waiting quite a long time for check in. But when I saw the hostel I didn't mind. Nice and clean (a lot of stairs), everything is modern-ish.
Disadvantage for some could be a bike, it had to be outside.
There's a pub here which has few vegan options, mid price range.
It can get very noisy when there's a wedding present like it happened to me.
All overall great hostel for a good price.
Security is great and if you fancy pubs there's just one downstairs
We stayed here and the hostel was ok. It was clean but very small shower room and showers temperature was not consistent, you would either get very hot or very cold. We had to fill up our drink bottles in the toilet tap and no cooking facilities. They are more accommodating for their pub and restaurant guests. The beer garden was very nice. The hostel is very far from central London.
An amazing, and affordable place to stay if you wanna roam around London for a few days. The host was friendly, a small garden outside was peaceful and bonus, complimentary breakfast!
The neighborhood was good too, you can find, Poundland, library and other food shops in walking distance!
Would recommend it to experience!
Sheets, pillows, madraces clean and new. I loved showers.. the best so far.. Just press the button and temperature is right.
For a budget traveler looking to just find a clean place to sleep its great they also offer a decent breakfast so all and all a worthwhile stay
Staff is quite friendly and food and drinks in the pub are worth it if you stay at the hostel. Hostel is not amazing but definitely worth the 10 pounds a night
nice people like hamza and the living human in the depths of service. prosperity and tranquility for them very much to stay at hem
In a time where pubs are what they used to be, we appreciated the staff and drink quality here. Thank you.
