Love the Sunday roast and also wasn't too crowded. Perfect atmosphere, kind waitresses and happpyyyyyyy vibe! Great for a Sunday night to relax and unwind :)

Bit of a problem booking in and the payment. After that, room was ok, clean and tidy, what you would expect for the price. The night I was there it was bitterly cold outside, the rooms were also cold, I stayed with 5 more guys that told me there rooms were freezing all night. Maybe owner could look into that. Other than that, hot strong shower was great. Pub itself was a lovley place, but again cold. The staff could not be nicer, Paulo (?) and the young lady and lad were rushed off their feet but extremely pleasant and provided great service. I had a burger to eat and it was really good, thanks chef. Great budget accomodation and lots to do around the area, would stay again. One last thing, owner, carpets in the hallways and stairs, very noisey with people coming and going in the night/morning but other than that , you get waht you pay for. Thanks.

Lovely pub, with lots of ornate old decor, with a nice warm interior vibe. We popped in here and had drinks and food during the week. Had a nice time, the food was pretty basic though. All in all would recommend, although if the food is improved then it would be a five stars

Have amended this review a couple of weeks after posting from 1 to 3 stars. The accommodation itself was good, clean and perfect for our needs. Would book again, but only via Booking.com to be on the safe side. The Black Lion refunded us the extra we paid on arrival which we really appreciate. But here's our original review which explains what happened...
Booked via Airbnb and paid £157 in advance. They then wouldn't let us stay unless we paid a further £250 on arrival. We contacted Airbnb after the trip and they said The Black Lion had definitely received our money so we requested a refund and surprise surprise they didn't respond. If you don't book via Airbnb you should be fine I guess. We're £250 out of pocket.

I had an amazing Sunday Roast here. It wasn't really busy so I spent good afternoon with my friend here.

Brilliant pub on Kilburn High Road. Not packed. Great food, fabulous staff, fantastic atmosphere. I'll be back shortly 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿❤️

A small B&B, the rooms however are not small, masiive ceiling and huge windows.
Great when visiting London and the connection to city centre is great
H. S.
The B&B at the Black Lion was great value and very comfortable. The bed was comfortable, TV worked great, there was a coffee station in our room and fresh soap was provided in the bathroom. Would recommend and use again.

I went on a saturday afternoon, it wasnt full, sat down on a comfy couch, and ordered a tasty burguer. Bathroom very clean and the bartender very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was so cozy and the playlist was also a reason to stay longer and enjoy the pub while calm and quiet.
J. C.
Very nice historic interior, but wasn't too impressed with the quality of the food or the selection of beer. Staff were friendly.

Thank you so much for Hospitality and stay. We were so impressed by the service and the rooms. Very clean and very COVID-19 free friendly. This is place where you would like to stay family friendly. There is a park right behind the black lion. Also shopping on every corner bakeries all over the place. This is somewhere we will be staying In the near future. Management and staff really impressed me and my family.

Best local pub for Sunday Roasts.

Had the burger and was not expecting much. The burger was cooked perfectly. Total recommend
D. O.
Lovely old pub let down by bad Guinness. Very friendly staff.
A. W.
Beautiful Victorian pub with listed interior walls and back bar. Staff have always been a delight

A review for the pub not the accommodation. Cosy and spacious even when busy. The seats by the fire are great! There needs to be consistency among the staff when making cocktails as they tend to differ between who makes them. Otherwise the pub itself is great and as it's close but a good spot for an impromptu drink. Had food on a Sunday and we were very well taken care of. Lovely food and lovely staff. Go in hungry.
M. F.
Just stopped by for a pint. The interior was really beautiful and the open fire made for a real cosy setting on a cold winter day. The beer selection was a little lacking (some more craft options or some ales would’ve been nice) and the roast looked decent though we weren’t saying for dinner. Prices standard.
J. S.
Really great service! Met the new manager Nico and he’s amazing, super atmosphere, wonderful drinks and excellent service all around. I’ll be coming back soon!
D. V.
The decor of this pub is outstanding - rightly Grade II listed. The outdoor seating is in an arcade adjoining a path leading to a local park - ideal for the summer. Very pleasant bar staff and a good range of drinks. Highly recommended.

One of the best pub ever!! Great atmosphere, delicious beers, gins and whisky with huge variety. Perfect music, in terms of choice and sound. Perfect place for a calm and relaxed beer with friends. The staff is great, kind and efficient!
One suggestion, grab four or five friends and have a drink on the couch next to the fire place!!! You won't regret!
Oh I was forgetting the location...what a nice place with perfect set of light and what a ceiling!!
Best place at least in Kilburn!

I love the style and decorations of this pub ❤ waitress was extra lovely

I have passed this place many times and all ways wondered how was it. Been there today and found it amazing, staff was really helpful with a cool vibe and style, felt like this is the kind of environment I look for.
Coming from a country where you don't go for a hotel or guesthouse when it comes to have a couple of beers I was really surprised.
Also had to it the historic atmosphere and the way it felt like this is a building from another area, rustic but actually really clean something you don't see many places.

Cozy pub, with a good range of beers and cocktails. 5 minutes walk from Kilburn underground station (Jubilee line). We had a very good dinner. Food was excellent as well as the service. We had a burger which was massive and delicious, and lamb with an amazing mouth watering cream. The restaurant section is beautiful but a little cold, the rest of the pub is cool. I only tried this place for the beers, after yesterday I will definitely go back for its food as well.

Lovely pub. Atmosphere is really chilled out and nice.
The staff working there are lovely and I never had any problems.
The manager Maya is actually a really nice person and she does her job well, she is always friendly and approachable.
I think people need to enjoy this pub and what it offers and get off their high horse.
If you want to troll or insult find a different pub to do it and stop spoiling it for the rest of us who are regulars and really enjoy it.
K. D.
Great value for money! Room was pleasant enough, however the TVs need updating as they are too small for the size of the rooms. Food in the pub was very nice, however we were disappointed to discover that the advertised deal of 2 for 1 cocktails was actually an old offer from the previous management and hadn't been removed from the booklet in the room
E. T.
Simple bed, no breakfast. Rooms are clean, big enough and comfortable. The beds are quite small, I guess they would be less comfortable if you are tall. Good price/value. Very well accessible from centre of London with public transport, interesting neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and bars. The black lion bar is also worth a visit, very big cocktail menu and a good Sunday roast.
M. C.
Went in for a reunion with university friends over Sunday lunch. The food was phenomenal. Beef perfectly tender, gravy delicious and great roasts. Service was a little lacking though - my drink was forgotten, and a friend's main was very late, suggesting it was also forgotten. Good beer selection though.
A. M.
Welcome to the institution of the British pub (decoration wise) : spacious, heavy furniture, fireplace (sort of) and a star attraction, an amazing ceiling! I only had drinks, but it seems the menu is tapas, not what you usually find on a pub. Worth checking out for the awesomeness of it. Their cocktails are also interesting. Prices are very decent for all drinks.
T. C.
Been here few times already, in overall this is one of the best pubs I've been at. Decoration inside is amazing. Original. Stylish. Its a recommended place. A really wide range of drinks and cocktails. Staff are polite, kind and fast, they even improve the atmosphere greatly.
s. s.
Yes it's a 3 star hotel so no chocolates on your pillow, however I would much rather this hotel than any 5 star hotel. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful. Not to mention they were relatable and even joined in conversing with me and my friends honestly one of the best services I've ever had in any hotel and bar. Ohh and their cocktails and shots are amazing!!!! 5* will definitely visit again.
V.
My review is for the pub.
Fantastic interiors and cosy atmosphere - aided by an amazing fireplace. The staff was kind and the food was good. Loved the vibe and we'll definitely come back.
T. H.
Very close to the Brandsbury overground and Kilburn underground stations. The beds are comfortable and the noise level seemed quiet at night. While the rooms are acceptable, they could be cleaner. One of the coffee mugs and plates in our room appeared to have been used (it had coffee stains on it). Overall, for the price and location its a very good deal, the pub downstairs also has very good cocktails and an interesting menu. However, the breakfast leaves a bit to be desired if compared to other lodging in London.

The Black Lion is the gem of Kilburn. It’s a gorgeous old fashioned bar and hotel that’s cosy in winter and airy in summer. Everyone is welcome here and the clientele is diverse and the vibe chilled. The food is good and the drinks are always good quality (wine, beer, spirits). The staff are friendly and welcoming and skilled at making very yummy cocktails. But! If you want the best cocktail ask Maya to make it. She is the Queen! We spent a very merry New Year’s Eve drinking Passionate Kisses and Maya is the expert. This place is our favourite London bar. Great customer service!
D. A.
Very friendly. Food is great if you pick the right dishes. Roasts are good and reasonably priced. Good small plate tapas selection. Better than many similar pubs in the area. Spacious and not too busy.
D.
Big pub with a warm atmosphere and plenty of space. The kind of place you go to if you want to actually be able to hear the people you're going with. Food and drink doesn't really separate this place apart from any other pub and the prices are about average. But the space available and the lack of crowding makes this a lovely pub to socialise in.
T. L.
One of my favourite pubs in Kilburn. Beautiful inside (especially the ceiling), friendly atmosphere, a great weekly pub quiz, varied selection of beer and cocktails, and really delicious food (especially the Sunday roast). Well worth going out of your way to visit.
N. H.
This Victorian pub is directly opposite the Tricycle Theatre and, therefore, is a great place to eat before the show.
The menu is quite extensive for a venue of this type, however, the food is excellent, as was the wine, and the value is exceptional!
The staff were very friendly and polite, and this is definitely a place that we shall return to.
To see so much of the Victorian detail still in place, is quite remarkable!
G. S.
A gastropub with good food and plenty of space. Used to be an Irish dance hall by all accounts....can be believed if you check out the ceiling.
One of those great pubs with rooms. This unique combo deserves it's own website.
J. C.
The Black Lion has very striking decor - very ornate and impressive as you walk in. You'd expect this type of pub to be bathed in darkness, but instead the large windows let light pour in and it's very pleasant on a sunny day. We went for the Tuesday pub quiz which was fun and pitched at a good level - not easy but not ridiculously hard. My only gripes are that as a vegan the menu offered very little in the way of food, with no vegan-friendly mains, and it would be nice to see a few craft beers from London breweries on keg. Worth a visit if you're in the area, or coming for the quiz!
H. G.
Spacious pub. Good range of seating including some by an open fire. Staff polite and attentive.
Haven't tried the food yet so can't comment on that side of things.
Definitely worth a visit.
j. l.
Big potential but every time I go there the staff is very unprofessional, even if the pub is almost empty they're always snobbing you.. Sunday roast is nice but not the best in the area at that price. Cocktails not recommended..
P. R.
I went on a Friday night. There's loads of room so it didn't feel too packed. The beer and food selection is pretty standard. 10/10 for the ceiling. Probably the best pub ceiling in England.
C. S.
Room a great value for money. Location is great for the city with Rail, Underground and Bus services on the doorstep. The Bar is fantastic with a really cool atmosphere and great choice of drinks. The food is great with discount for hotel users. Staff were all very helpful.
D. E.
Used to be my local pub when I was living in Kilburn. It's just beautiful. I stayed at one of their rooms for the first time while I was visiting London and I can only recommend it. Really nice rooms and friendly staff!
A. R.
Lovely, friendly pub which is a firm favourite for me and friends. Delightful interior (has to be seen!), nice wines and great food in bar or elegant restaurant area. Big leather sofas, open fires in Winter.
S. D.
Nice pub, it looks really good. Some offers to grab 2 cocktails at the price of one. If he look at the quality of the furniture and decor of the place this is one of the best pubs I've been to. I've been quite late so it was particularly quiet, really nice.
t. j.
Really good pub. Best place next to a park on a Summers day. good food also, they hired a talented chef better than most nearby.
d. h.
Friendly pub if a tad pricey, the staff dealt brilliantly with a moany Minnie sat along us who ordered a chicken fillet burger and moaned that it was a chicken fillet when she expected a burger. It said a fillet on the menu. People, eh?
I liked the old leather seating and the location as well, nice ambience.

We hired The Black Lion for our wedding party. We had a small service during the day, with close family and wanted to have a big party in the evening, to celebrate.
We were both familiar with TBL, having enjoyed many a drink there previously and couldn't have picked a better venue for the type of party we wanted- informal, drinks flowing and lots of dancing.
The staff were really helpful leading up to the event and on the actual night, the bar staff were fantastic and we, along with our guests, had an absolute ball. Over nine months later, our wedding guests still talk about what a great venue TBL is and of course how fab the ceiling is :)
H. S.
Love the barbecue in the summer months although both the food and drink are pretty pricey. The pub is almost always busy, but there's generally somewhere to sit as there are a lot of tables and a specific dining area. Overall a great pub, but just a little on the expensive side to be a regular.
T. R.
For a pub that offers nothing on tap this is still pretty good. It's weird as a their bottle selection isn't really that wide either but it is an absolutely gorgeous pub. Serving tapas and usual pub food as well it's a good alternative to the London Tavern up the road as it's quieter and much nicer inside. Lots of comfortable couches!
G. S.
My son and I have been visiting the inn recently. For the price (after all, this is London and we have seen worse) The Black Lion offers fair accomodation. Nothing more, nothing less. Impressive pub, though. The pub's prices were OK. There was a nice extra discount for guests from the inn. The people there were very competent, friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and serviced daily. The free tea and coffee was welcomed dearly.
One advice for fellow travellers, and this cost The Black Lion one star: Room no. 7, stay away from it if you are traveling in pairs and if you aren' t a couple fresh in love - the bed is very narrow for two persons.
Would we come back? Yes, any time. And looking forward to it. But for another room.
Revisited and upgraded to 5 stars. With the right room (we got no. 2), the stay is/was perfect.
i. v.
So nice looking pub, waiters kind and cool, very good at guiding you through the discovery of english beers. Go for happy hour (5 to 7 ) and for the special live jazz night every wednesday!
And staff is totally pro for any demand in the guest house part, with cute rooms, high top roof and windows. A little bit noisy for sleeping but that's the city life, and i'm used to country yard quietness :)
B. “. L.
The staff are fabulous and the food in the restaurant delicious! I believe all (most?) of the staff are Italian so they're good fun. I had the tomato mozzarella starter and was instantly impressed by it's presentation (not the normal alternating slices). Very fresh and seasonal tomatoes so very tasty. For main I had lamb and asparagus. Again, in season produce, just as the Italians would. My boyfriend's steak, chips and onion rings looked immense though so they've not abandoned their pub roots

We vidit the pub/bar on the ground floor.
A spacious, high ceiling space with an ornate decor.
Good variety of beers and drinks and good food.
Only negative is the very loud sound of the TV playing on the speakers. It sas rugby night but ehen you have 20+ people in the place snd maybe one or two watch the TV what is the point of having it so loud?
P.
This Pub and Hotel in 1 is perfectly situated in London Camden. It is 20minutes from Westminster station with underground, so it is nearly in the centre of London. I think that the hotel is really good quality for favorable value and the pub in the ground floor has really nice atmosphere, so you can enjoy good food and good camden hells beer :) Everything in room was not so new but it was clean. Bed was comfy. The breakfast was taken place in a near fast food ellie's caffe and you can choose typical breakfast with tea with milk. The hotel is no 5* but for this value it is more than satisfying. I can only recommend it.

Lovely people, great food, beautiful decor

Beer - 0/5
No cask ale!
Interior - 4/5
Gorgeous heritage interior. Questionable choice of contemporary wallpaper in the dining room and snug which contrasts jarringly with the original panelling and decorative plasterwork. The sole remaining partition screen has at some point been modified with a varnished plywood opening.
Ambience - 4/5
Lovely, cosy and welcoming.
L. R.
Very beautifuly decorated and cosy place! Service was really great. Rooms were very basic but met all our needs. The food at the restaurant was 5 star! One of the best meals I've had in London! Will definitely go back!

A bar with great character. Drinks were good and the staff was awesome. Didn't have the food. Staff was It was a bit warm inside but not so much that it detracted from the charm or relaxing atmosphere.

We was looking for a place to have food and drinks and seen this place.Thought we would give it a try food is superb staff is friendly. Reasonable price as well.

I checked in the hotel this month for 2 nights. A perfect location for our needs whilst visiting the city. The suite we stayed at is really luxurious. Unfortunately the floor boards were very creaky and we were woken several times in the night and morning as people walked across the landing. Great value for the price.

Stayed for a long weekend, bar and house cleaning staff very friendly and helpful. Pub/bar itself was relaxed atmosphere, very cosy and comfortable. Room was decent and good value. Would recommend =]

The place is amazing, it is historical and very beautiful. The breakfast was great with plenty of options and food, the receptionist Marta is very kind and a very nice person, I would definitely recommend this place to my friends!

The service was good. The pub has a beautiful wooden interior, very fancy. No crisps available as they want to sell meals, but potato wedges are available. A small number of real ales available.

Proper English pub.
Light, spacious and a really nice vibe.
Service is really good, bit upmarket compared to the old days.
Still miss Biddy Mulligans but nice pub and you have to move with the times
A. A.
Fantastic pub with lovely food. I really enjoyed the Calamari!
S. B.
The bed was very comfortable, decent sized room, nice and warm and the curtains shut out the light. The sink is a bit awkward in the bathroom but other than that no complaints and pleasant enough for one night
B. N.
no lift if you have heavy luggage. basketball and football court just downstairs

I have lived in Kilburn and have been going to the Black Lion regularly for the last 7 years and have never been disappointed by the service or the food. I have a feeling that the negative review below only tells part of the story.
Never ever have I been treated badly by Maya or any other members of staff, who have served my friends and I in different establishments in the area for a while. Disregard the review.
p.
Lovely pub In Kilburn, one of the most beautiful pub in North West London. Perfect with kids as spacious with lots of couches and in winter the fireplace is great.
A. A.
Fantastic pub. A pity they only have two cask pumps though, and none of them were on when we were there. Open fire by the chesterfield sofas and overall outstanding atmosphere compensate for that though.
M. D.
Can't go wrong with the Black Lion. Huge boozer on the Kilburn high road. Good beer but unfortunately the fish and chips i had wasn't the best. However, I'm putting this down as a one off and will try the food again when next in Kilburn.
M. S.
The Sunday roasts are out of this world. Get the beef and you won't be sorry. The staff are similarly excellent. Vado in the kitchen is as friendly as he is a genius with the food!! The best pub in NW6!
C. C.
No big luxury, but everything you need is there. Bus stop in front. Tube only minutes walk away. Stunning pub, with great food! Friendly staff. Breakfast is not much but will do.
N. M.
The inside of this pub is a wonder to behold; the ceiling roses and warm atmosphere are fantastic. The food is of standard gastropub expectation (nothing to write home about and somewhat overpriced) but pleasant. The makings of a great experience end there though, I'm afraid. The staff are aloof and unbearably poor at managing their customers; often leaving customers to go and chat amongst themselves. Their interpersonal skills leave a lot to be desired. Their draught selection is conventional pub fodder and the mainstay ale (notice the lack of plurality) is Doom Bar. Prices here are ludicrous (even an avid Whisky Mist goer would raise an eyebrow). For all it's foibles however, I like this place (the music selection is infallible!). The North London Kilburn urbanites who are the regular clientele, are chatty and friendly. Do drop in, even if only to gawk at the place. I'd recommend going to the Black Lion's sister pub in West Hampstead for a more reasonably price tipple, a vaster (if not better) beer selection, and more amicable staff.
S.
Ordered Tapas for the 4 of us outside on the seating provided. We had the fish goujons, prawns, chick pea, buchetta, calamari and mozzarella. The menu states that the food is freshly prepared on the premises and it didn't disappoint. Truly authentic food which came as a pleasant surprise for somewhere on kilburn high road. So if you're looking for a local place that served quality food then look no further.
H. K.
Lovely decor and a decent pub.
M. M.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. Good variety of beers on tap. Will be going back very soon!!!!
E. C.
Only used the restaurant, not the hotel and the food was better than the service. Manager was a little Curt with my mother in law but didn't cross the line into rude (narrowly) and the waitresses do not seem to be hired for their experience. But the food is why we went and it did not disappoint.
G.
I was at the restaurant once, and at the pub once. Both were really nice, the food was surprisingly fancy but a little expensive. The pub was friendly but the waiters could use a little more knowledge about what they serve.
A. S.
We stayed in two rooms, both were clean, cozy, tidy and there was no noise from outside. Aprox 5/10 min walk to Kilburn station. Tesco, Sainsburys and many small shops around. All staff was friendly and very helpfull during our stay.
E. s.
Was pleasantly surprised by this pub on Kilburn High Road - friendly staff and nice environs with a decent selection of drinks. Only had a drink (hence 3 stars) but will be back to try the food
S. M.
Amazing looking interior - popped in for a quick pint before heading in to Wembley.. barman was genuinely interested in our day and had great banter. Would recommend!
J. W.
Amazing interior, staff were stressed though. Still recommend, it's a great pub. Rough around the edges but stunningly beautiful interior.
A. H.
Really beautiful pub. Looks like from diferent times. Service and quality of food is great. I am always happy when I come for lunch.

Not bad location and lay out. Not alot of chairs/area to sit. Took a while to get served. Manager was nice to get a chair though for a guy that needed to sit down

Very nice cosy warm pub, and very nice food!

The 2 for 1 burger deal on a Monday is good. That is, the food is decent and the interior is quaint, however the staff can brush up on their customer service skills. Someone took down our order wrong and instead of apologising, we got back chat.
H. S.

For Kilburn High Rd this is a gem. Very nice vibe and interior, this could be in W Hampstead. Sunday roast was nice too. So far the best pub on Kilburn High Rd.

Pleasant atmosphere, one of the more 'up-market' pubs on this road. Decent cocktail menu and unpretentious friendly staff.

Great 'old feel' pub. Beautiful decor and awesome ceiling. Good booze selection and food OK for pub grub.
D. C.
Really beutiful pub in english style. The London Pale Ale beer is delicious. Staff very cool 😎
M. B.
Good selection of drinks, friendly staff, they even have fake books littered about the place to make it look classy. Managed to get a few ciggs off people outside so the clientele are a friendly bunch too.
a. b.
The best pub I've ever visited in London! The place looks amazing , beers -good, food - amazing, prices - reasonable, bartenders - sexy and polite ... in short - in love with that place!
M. T.
Nice spacious pub with good brews.
Polite and friendly staff.
Not much seating though.
M. H.
Nice pub with a decent range of drinks, good quality food, a little on the expensive side for the area. Sunday roast chicken was impressive.
L. F.
Lovely pub, great decor and beautiful surroundings. The only thing I don't like is one choice of lager on tap.
J. D.
Great pub & food. Wonderful Victorian decor, well worth a visit. Easily the best bar on the High Street
T. A.
For Kilburn High Rd this is a gem. Very nice vibe and interior, this could be in W Hampstead. Sunday roast was nice too. So far the best pub on Kilburn High Rd.

Went for lunch and enjoyed it very much. The staff were helpful and the food and drinks were all up to scratch. It was a touch expensive for me however, which is why I've not given 5/5.

This is pub it’s a real history 👌

One of the most remarkable pubs in London. Friendly people but kitchen closes early, so we had to resort to the competition...
S. G.
Charming London pub to quietly sip a beer while chatting or browsing on your ipad. I would not suggest staying in the B&B though, due to a different management that still needs to learn something about hospitality.
R. M.
The decoration was amazing and immediate as soon as I walked in. Staff were very friendly the prices and selection was great and some super cool chairs
D. W.
Very nice food and good atmosphere in a lovely building. They have a deal with the Kiln Theatre for tickets, food and drinks etc

Good place a very well service by Alexandra the Spanish girl, she is a star

Food was tasty but service was slow, seemed understaffed for mother's day. Bright and spacious bar. Will go back

Not bad location and lay out. Not alot of chairs/area to sit. Took a while to get served. Manager was nice to get a chair though for a guy that needed to sit down

A historical pub with a cosy atmosphere, but rather worn. Could need a renovation regarding the furnishment.
S. S.
Great place, staff are attentive, loads of seating, only downside was selection of spirits was quite little; expected a better selection and more choice.
A. B.
Locals are quite rowdy, bar staff really friendly. Nice negronis other cocktails, would definitely recommend
S. L.
Amazing food, wine club is just the best value for money, hot open fire perfect for cold nights and generally the best pub in Kilburn!
V. P.
One of most beautiful pub in Kilburn. Guarantee to have a great timw. Friendly staff, AMAZING decor and good food!
j. h.
Gorgeous pub, great atmosphere and fantastic selection of beers. Lots of great nibbles too!

This place is so nice in side and outside the seating area in quiet cosy. The staff is so chatty and friendly, they are making the best margarita in that area

(Translated) We did not try the pub, only the guesthouse.
Value for money very correct for London.
The room is very big, the bathroom is clean and the bedding too.
If you had to find a point for improvement ... maybe the carpet was a bit dated, but clean.
(Original)

(Translated) A very nice and quiet place to have a quiet beer, it deserves a more assorted range of taps ....
(Original)
Unl posto molto bello e tranquillo dove berre una birra in tranquillità ,meriterebbe una più assortita gamma di spine....

(Translated) There isn't much to say about this pub other than one thing. If you want to have a drink in a cool pub in the NW area, this is the place. The decor is splendid and it feels like diving into a real old style Victorian Pub. The choice of beers is not exaggerated but decent (I happened to find the beloved East Coast IPA). And so for affordable wines and spirits. Plus the usual pluses you would expect from an English pub: Monday burgers 2x1, Tuesday quiz night, and even jazz nights and DJs ...
Of course there is also the restaurant space and, for those wishing to stay, the place is also a guesthouse with 14 rooms. Ultimately something precious in the heart of Kilburn.
(Original)

(Translated) The pub is incredibly good, the food was delicious and normal prices for English standards. Janis reads every wish from the eyes. Full score for the pub. In the hotel is a lot of improvement. The reception staff is not the friendliest, there is a high repair traffic. The location is ok, if you are ready to go over- and underground. But you live in a colorful neighborhood. I will gladly come again.
(Original)

(Translated) A pub built towards the end of the 19th century with a guesthouse, the rooms are basic but comfortable and clean, although the rooms are located above the local wine bar, you will not hear any noise. The staff is kind and competent and always generous with advice, ready to satisfy any need.
(Original)

(Translated) The Black Lion has an extraordinary setting. Sofa leather, solid wood table there is even a fireplace. Cocktails and pressure beers will delight your evening in this pub, known to regulars because not directly in the center so far, it is not uncommon to see some Irish and Scottish passages.
(Original)
