Came to London for a short weekend and we took a room in at Blackbird. The rooms are cozy and so so beautiful! Every room has a name and a theme, they are so well done and so many cute details taken into consideration. The room has everything you need, is warm and if you’re lucky you can also get a view of the street (like we did). The staff is lovely and the position is excellent- right across the tube station Earls Court + a ton of shops& restaurants. Def will be back! Thank you, Blackbird!

I’ve eaten at the restaurant twice now. Once for breakfast and once for dinner. Both have been EXCEPTIONAL despite being a bit pricey. Well worth it, and I’ll return at least once more before heading home to the States. Friendly staff both times and quick service with wonderful portions and flavor.

Stayed here in October 2021… what a perfect choice for a weekend in London!
Staff, room, breakfast and pub all delightful.. so glad we stayed here, what a find.. will certainly be back and cannot recommend highly enough!!
P. J.
A fine pub worthy of a visit. The atmosphere was friendly, lively and busy; the staff were helpful, and caring; the range of beers & wines etc. extensive and the menu impressive. A lovely, friendly pub where you can relax and/or make new friends and be at ease.

We stayed in Earls Court for 10 days in September 21 and came back to the Blackbird several times. A great pub made special by fantastic staff. A warm welcome every time we visited, good selection of beers all well kept and equally good choice of wine. Food was well presented good pub fare. Hope to visit again next time we are in London.
J. J.
Everything about this pub is excellent. The staff are very friendly, the breakfast was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble for them. Considering you are sleeping above a busy pub and on quite a busy road there was no noise whatsoever. We were sad when our two days came to an end and would definitely stay again. Walking distance of Earls Court Station and so easy to get about. Nothing more to say!!
S. J.
Went to the pub/restaurant: Servers were very accommodating to our large group and very patient and kind. The London pie was delicious and came with a good amount of food and wonderful gravy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights stay at The Blackbird. A great pub atmosphere, clean and friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing with fast and efficient service. The only reason for 4 stars is simply because of the room being a tad small, the noise from the road and thin walls meant we heard every bang from room above. Otherwise a wonderful place to stay in the heart of the London action with everything nearby!

Lovely food, great beer, great at table service, but a less than charming welcoming committee. We booked a table in advance, were no trouble at all but were told "You cant just walk in here". Talk about the North/South divide.....
C. W.
Staff here are absolutely lovely. We visited with our deaf son and one of the waiters quickly searched to learn a few signs … absolutely delighted. Decent food and selection of wines.
S. A. B.
Lovely pub with very warm welcome from the staff. We walked in and they gave us a table in the dining area at the back. We both opted for the steak and Fullers pie with chips, as opposed to mash. Lovely meat and great pantry. I ordered a pint of IPA which was served at a good temperature. Very good toilets too. They have rooms upstairs and according to the staff are only doubles no twins.
G. H.
Not much to say, everything you'd expect from a standard Fuller's pub. Good beer selection. Clean and plenty of space.
D. S.
Had a great burger, decent chips. Staff seemed a little lost for noon on a Tuesday. Was good though for what it was
K. G.
One of the best Fullers Pubs I’ve been to. The staff are hard working and extremely welcoming. We visited for breakfast where the service was brilliant and the food was fantastic. I would highly recommend and would definitely go back if I was in the area.
H. F.
Really lovely pub and the ladies were great the stairs were a bit tricky to go down
Staff were very friendly too and the real ale was very good

Spotless rooms. Food great breakfast plenty of choice cooked fresh well presented staff very polite and helpful. Very close to tube station. What's not to like will stay again at the blackbird.

Friendly staff. Excellent pies. We came here 2 years ago before lockdowns and remembered the good pies 🙂

We stayed at Earls Court for a weekend and came to The Blackbird for breakfast. Natalie and the team made us feel very welcome, they were super efficient and the food was excellent. So much so that we booked a table for an evening meal and another breakfast the following day. Great place and would definitely recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
N. M.
Stayed in London and had breakfast here. Natalie, Emma and the Team were so welcoming booked for breakfast again and Sunday lunch. The food was excellent. Will book rooms next time we have a London break. We enjoyed our chats. Thank you
E. B.
I had a less-than-stellar experience at a different hotel, and decided to find a better option for my next 2 nights. Thankfully, the Blackbird had a room available at a solid price. I was traveling the next day and they were kind enough to take my luggage at 8am in the morning and it was ready in my room when I returned to check-in at 8pm. Everyone I interacted with was amazing and kind. They also make a fantastic Pimm's cup, which cannot be found in the states. If I'm ever back in London, this is where I'll stay.
T. H.
We enjoyed our visit to the Blackbird. The staff were immense and the food and beer were great.
A great pub - clean and family friendly.
A. S.
Lovely rooms in an amazing location. Really friendly staff will make your stay very pleasant indeed
P. C.
Nice warm pub with chilled vibe. Friendly staff and have to say , an amazing burger 🍔 and the triple cooked Chips were divine. You will want more.
T. L.
In summary, understated. The food and service was great, and the ambience was a stark contrast to the main road just outside. Would love to visit again the next time I'm in London.
A. L.
I just went for breakfast which was delicious and great value for money! Staff were very friendly and accommodating! Ended up going again for breakfast the next day!
C. R.
Nice pub with lovely rooms, great breakfasts, great pies and good Fullers beer
N.
I kinda do not want to tell people about how nice of a time I had there cuz then I might not get a room the next time I'm in London. Had great service and chats with the staff, G&Ts were grand, it was almost disturbingly clean, fantastic breakfast, lovely rooms with close to no disturbance at all except from the street but hey, can't control the traffic. Will visit again and if anyone asks where to stay while in London, this would be my first recomendation! Oh and never stop the daily messageboards!
Thank you for the stay
Love - The Swedes

J. S.
Lovely and outstanding stay. Amazing service and treatment from staff and managers. V good breakfast and perfect location.
J. R.
Everything was amazing until desserts. The mango was very sour in the coconut rice pudding and the raspberry ice cream tasted frost burnt.

Absolute gem of a place, partner and I had breakfast two days on the trot, delicious English breakfast and as Kensington goes , not expensive at all
Staff could not have been more friendly and attentive
Warmly recommended

Lovely, homely hotel pub a stone's throw from Earl's court tube. Excellent service and welcoming atmosphere.
A. G.
My friend and I had breakfast there twice and the food and service were brilliant, will definately use the place again.
A. T.
A nice pub, convenient as by the tube station. Does food till late at night, and hotel rooms at reasonable prices.
A. H.
Lovely traditional pub with traditional pub food and very friendly service.
The pies are lush!
A. L.
Surprisingly good food, fast service. The menu is limited. Good alternative to fast food restaurants.
P. B.
Really nice pub to have food and watch the Six Nations.
M. H.
Came in here before the Chelsea FA cup match, nice staff, clean and the food looked good 👍
A. A.
Nice staff, clean room, delicious breakfast, good price .. but they don’t provide laundry service and the room is little a bit small .. Overall it was nice💜
j. k.
Really nice old traditional London pub, food menu and the pies are amazing.
K. K.
This is a great pub. The owners are very attentive, and the breakfast was great. This would be my regular hangout if I lived in the area.
R. B.
Amazing stay at The Blackbird, couldn’t have asked for anything else to make our stay better. The room was beautifully decorated and clean. Loved the Blackbird references in the shower and on the pictures. Dressing gowns and Nespresso machine were a nice bonus and made us feel extra comfortable in the room.
The food was outstanding, we ended up having breakfast on both days, the quality was 5*.
We will definitely be back, thank you for such a lovely stay.
C. F.
Staff and service was great. We went for a simple evening meal and breakfast. Loved the atmosphere and food. Lovely place.

Excellent Hotel and pub!
Friendly staff that gave us an wonderful upgraded room. Thank you very much for that!😊
The room we had is modern and have all the necessities you would want. Nice bed and cozy lightening.
Super neighbourhood.
The food and beer was also really good🍺🍻
J. M.
Had a lovely stay at the Blackbird, from the moment we arrived till we walked out the door all the staff were friendly and welcoming (reception, pub and also very sweet and warm "good moring" from housekeeping). The pub/hotel/room was really clean, cosy and nicely decorated. Lots of nice finishing touches! The breakfast was really yummy too 😊 (also great coffee!). Overall great experience and brilliant value for money considering the location - HIGHLY RECOMMEND 👍🏻
S. J.
We got welcomed by Neil, possibly the kindest man we met all week during our stay in London.
The hotel is amazing in every way; service minded and helpful staff with a lot of humour, great food, dreamlike hotel rooms where every furniture is placed just right - everything is thought through and there are charming details pleasing for the eyes here and there for those whom look around.
The beds are really comfortable and the entire hotel is well cleaned.
Our stay at the Blackbird Hotel has been a blessing.
We will definitely stay here during our next visit in spring. ❤️
This hotel is wonderful and you will love it!
Best regards
Simon from Sweden 🇸🇪

This is the perfect little place to stay! Nice and simple, clean and most importantly the staff were amazing, from check in to when I left. Particularly the lady that checked me In to the hotel on Friday 25th approx 2pm I was absolutely parched from a long journey and she very kindly brought me a Gin and Tonic. Also another thing to mention was that the breakfast was great, I had the plant based full English which was delicious(and I’m not even a vegan/vegetarian). Thank you for a lovely stay, I will definitely be back again! :)
C. H.
Friendly staff, good beer and wine. Excellent food
I.
Lovely corner pub with great food! 👍 highly recommended
M. P.
Great for a English Breakfast, couldn't fault the food or service.
S. M.
Hidden little gem!! We Called in for breakfast on a Sunday morning and ordered the smashed avocado with a coffee and it was amazing the eggs were cooked to perfection and the staff were lovely too thank you
L. M.
Stopped in for breakfast twice and a few drinks. Very nice.
J. M.
Staff lovely, food really good, worth a visit
r. y.
The food was actually great! Not a massive selection, but the burger and especially the fried squid were amazing!
A. O.
Popped in for a few beers as staying at a hotel nearby. Staff very welcoming and good selection of drinks
G. T.
I went in for lunch steak and ale pie with chips cabbage, peas and gravy Mmm (I know chips and gravy but I am a northerner). Followed by coffee, sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. The landlady out and about chatting bar staff cheerful. A great lunch.
J. K.
Great pub with a good selection of beers good food recommend the pies friendly helpful staff
I. E.
Amazing place, great food, desserts and service! I had the brownie sundae and it was extremely yummy! My friend had the pudding with the salted caramel ice cream and it was a dream! You could totally tell that they put the effort to their menu and make their customers happy! The waiters were also very kind and helpful.
A. S.
Great breakfast in the vintage english atmosphere 👍
L. M.
You can improve your service by truly bringing what your guests have ordered. On Sunday my husband and I were at an early dinner and ordered a Sunday roast, two identical portions, and we were given meat steaks from different animals. I got half-cooked beef and my husband pork. Such things are not acceptable. Of course, we were charged the same price. The invoice had only the total amount, no specification of what we ordered.
M. D.
Nice pub with good atmosphere, getting a table may be a bit difficult without reservation.
The staff were very friendly, music was just to my taste (Smiths, Siouxie, ...) and - what is important - was not too loud, so that one could easily understand and get understood.
The food was excellent, so was the beer. Prices are at the "usual level", a Sunday roast dish cost just above £ 15, a pub classic around £ 12.
P. V.
Decent beer, typical London boozer but very expensive.
D. D.
Lovely place , beautiful bedroom, lovely breakfast, no complaints
M. F.
Nice pub to visit. The food was excellent and the service was good. Definitely would recommend the pie sampler as it gives you a taste of a couple of their famous pies and a flight of some of the beers. I didn't get the opportunity to try them, but a really cool selection of gin and tonics too. Only issue was the place was a little loud.
D. T.
A great, well presented High Street hostelry, it also has rooms. Great beer and great service from the staff. Lovely to see the effort being made to welcome the rugby 🏉 six nations, including the "Daffodil" burger! A fine place to stop off for a drink, food or a stay, mix and match as you feel, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
J. Y.
Left me cardi as was having such a good time. Very nice food lovely friendly staff. Lots of covid procedures.
S. B.
Good food and drinks, nice staff
M. L. U.
A fun little pub right down the street from the Earl's Court station. Service was both friendly and efficient. The food was good and priced nicely. I had the haddock with my chips and it tasted okay though I wasn't a huge fan of the skin being left on the bottom. I've had a lot of fish and chips and I've never liked that, but maybe some don't mind? Place smelled a bit of spilled beer but you can't beat the ambiance otherwise and a convenient location.
P. A.
Great server called Viktor, friendly, attentive and great knowledge of drinks. Clean and hygienic venue, especially with everything going on as well. Simple but delicious selection of taps and spirits. Recommended highly
J. W.
We stopped in for our first meal as we were waiting for our room at a close hotel to open up. We sat for a bit and then after asking found out we were early and they couldn’t serve immediately. Makes sense. My wife and I sit Fish and Chips. It was good. There were about 6 or 7 other groups in the Pub when we were there. The Fish and Chips weren’t the best we had while in London, but was still very good. Beer selection is good, and there are two TV’s to watch in the bar/dining area. Staff was very friendly.
We went back for a second meal, but there were no empty tables so left.
We were happy with the food and the service during our visit, we had several employees keeping a good eye on us. Again, while not the best food we had on the trip, would definitely return if we were close! Well worth just dropping in!
D. H.
Had passing drinks and bowls of chips with children, were polite, clean, grate atmosphere ,fresh food, amazing drinks selection and attentive staff.
R. J.
I came in here for a quick drink one lunchtime. I didn't try any food and the place was fairly quiet. The beer selection was quite good though. Other reviews on here rate this place more highly after they've had food, so perhaps I missed out on a treat here!
V. L.
Went there for dinner and had probably the best beef brisket pie ever. The beer was also very nice.
Outstanding and very friendly service. Highly recommended pub.
A. A.
Nice cozy pub with good food and drinks and lovely service.
H. V.
Very friendly staff. Great pub with a great atmosphere. Quiet in the back, more going on in the front. The food was delicious and service was fast. Great little place. Just a heads up the bathrooms are down some narrow spiral stairs.
S. S.
As with most Fuller's pubs - excellent setup and really nicely kept inside.
Amazing pies and cracking selection of beers.
Advisable to book if you want to eat - really nice dining room round the back.
N. M.
Enjoyed a relaxing delicious meal twice here while staying at a Hotel near by. The waitress on both occasions was fantastic, nothing was to much for Stacey if we needed anything. Stacey was friendly, polite & very easy going. Hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here, the Steak and Stitton pie was so delicious, I had it in both occasions. 😃
H.
Really nice pub. Great selection of beers, very clean, friendly staff. I'll be back!
R. C.
Good enjoyable stay at The Blackbird.
Felt very safe and staff keep the place ship shape.
It’s a shame due to covid people feel they can’t get out and about but we felt very safe in this hotel and it’s bar/ restaurant.
Manuel was Great and very friendly and their breakfast was superb.
Thanks guys for the good stay.
D. H.
A wonderful authentic pub in Earl's court. Very friendly staff, cosy atmosphere, a good variety of handcrafted beer, what else can you ask for. I liked the world champion ale ESB the most, but also the London Pride pleased my tongue. The fish&chips were outstanding, according to quality and quantity. If you are looking for a typical English pie, stay with the minced beef pie with strong flavors, nicely contrasted by the creamy and soft mashed potatoes. Together with friends or family you gonna find out this is the place to have fun.
M. C.
We loved our stay at the Blackbird. Natalie and her team were welcoming, accommodating and very nice. Natalie was a sweetheart to let me rebook my room a few times. The room were beautiful and the amenities were very well put together.
The pub was great! We had a delicious breakfast included in the room rate and great beer and pie in the evening!
We will definitely be back! I what a great way to enjoy London!
l. d.
only had breakfast, but wow I have worked all over the UK and this is the best breakfast ever, quality not quantity. thank you.
S. S.
Great place to stay, and won't break the bank
P. R.
Great food, well decorated comfortable rooms. Will definitely come back
C. R.
I was in London on a business trip for the weekend and ended up at the Blackbird by chance as it was near my hostel.
I was impressed at how good the atmosphere was and I really enjoyed my two pints there. Good selection of beers and ales.
Staff very friendly and helpful. I always felt respected there being a woman on my own.
Definitely will be popping back when I go near the area.
L. C.
Good pies, good ales, good service, classic ambience :)
The looks as I would imagine a modern pub/restaurant. Lot of wood, hight ceiling, one big bright room, clean and in good condition.
I had the pie tasting board which was plenty and very tasty, paired gravy and spinach-sauce - which went very well with the beef pie -
with three small ales.
Perfect place for lunch, not so busy, but I can imagine it's packet at night :)
D. G.
Nice place(pub). Serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As an American tourist staying nearby, I need all three, especially the hearty breakfast. Serve coffee, tea, and liquor. I came in for the first two. Friendly staff. Convenient shops nearby (drug store, fruit stand, health food grocery store-M&S Goofhall, and bus stop). People of all ages, though obviously less children. I only went into the pub, not the hotel which is upstairs. Fair prices.

Last Saturday we went for a City Trip in London to The Blackbird and it was the best decision ever made. My Mum and I couldn't be more happy. The rooms where beautiful, comfy and very quiet. Wonderful! We always said it's so sad we were here to explore the city and couldn't just enjoy the beautiful rooms. And the Shower... Loved it! Loved really everything about our stay! Breakfast was included and so delicious!! Thanks to the whole team - everyone was so lovely! (Special thanks to Manuel!)
D. D.
Good pint but pub and staff felt very formal.
M. B.
The service and food was great! I had a soft shell crab burger. That was a first for me and I found it both interesting and awesome in taste. The dessert was even better, I had the ale pudding with salted caramel icecream...mindblowingly good! Atmosphere was cosy and also calm since we were seated in the back room area. The only point you can criticize is the prices. It's not cheap, but you also get great quality for your money!
B. A. X.
We booked The Blackbird as a spur of the moment trip to London for Bank Holiday. The room we stayed in was modern, beautifully presented and very clean - it had everything you need! The staff were all lovely and friendly. Breakfast was also very nice and there was a varied choice. Me and my other half had a lovely time there and we will definitely come back!
B. C.
Excellent Fullers pub in Earls Court. The ESB was excellent.
M. G.
I went here to eat and it was the best meal I had in London. The lamb pie with apricot and mint was the best thing I have probably eaten in a while. Much better than the other pub down the street both in quality and service. I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Earls Court.
E. R.
I had a really yum vegetarian pie here (so deliciously cheesy and rich) and a large glass of red wine. It was a quiet afternoon and the ambience was nice and relaxed. However, it was table service for this part in the day, and unfortunately I was forgotten about and waited quite a long time to order a meal. When I eventually flagged someone down they were apologetic. I think probably I would have rathered ordering at the bar rather than wait. Otherwise a good experience.
M. M.
Great food and local ale. The place is open and spacious with friendly staff who found us a table quickly. If you would like a Sunday roast get in early as they sell out. The house made pies are a winner, having won many awards.
D.
Classic British pub with a decent selection of beers, both traditional ales and craft beers. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I didn't eat here, but seeing the food coming out of the kitchen made me hungry!
E. C.
Really friendly and efficient staff. I went there alone and did not feel neglected at all. Great atmosphere. Tried fish and chips, and it's good. Crispy batter and fresh fish. Decent beer selection, mostly Fullers. The experience is pleasant enough that I wanted to go back and try more beers and food.
K. F.
Fantastic hotel the staff were brilliant from booking to leaving, drink ranges are great, but best of all the food quality was perfect.
M. K.
Such a fantastic stay!! Natalie and Manuel are so friendly and warm and answered all of our questions. Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was absolutely delicious. Fabulous location, plenty of things to do in the area and the Earls Court train station is just a 2 minute walk up the street. Would recommend!
M. F.
Best pub in the area by a mile
R. A.
The Blackbird is perfectly located to the underground and has everything you could possibly want or need! The staff obviously takes hosting seriously. From Natalie greeting you upon arrival to entering a spotlessly clean room and bath, we could have not asked for a more perfect stay. Although I did not get her name, the cleaning staff is top notch! I could not find anything out of place. The room had coffee, tea, water and Espresso for your enjoyment and made our stay very relaxing. Forgot your toothbrush? No problem! You will find toiletries in the small but perfect bathroom. And to top off the perfect night's sleep, the breakfast is outstanding! We could not have picked a better location for our visit and will stay here again. Highly recommend!
P.
Went looking for a place to plot my afternoons in London and was happy as a lark here. Very warm, cozy, welcoming interior. Boffo dishes - the bangers and mash were a must (with the tastiest gravy I've ever had), and the fish & chips were great too (though most Yanks like me will never get mushy peas). Terrific Fuller's draughts on tap. Very friendly proprietors. Wish it were open later at night but, you can't always get what you want.
M. R.
If you want the proper London pub experience then this fits the bill perfectly! Wood panelling, subtle lighting (sometimes candles), a good range of ales and pleasant staff. The decor has been changed since I last visited 3 years ago with a mixture of old and new. Didn't try the food but what I saw being served at other tables looked delicious. M
R. T.
Really nice character pub with great choice of drinks and good staff. Not too expensive by London standards either. They show a lot of sport on their screens too. Food looked good but didn't try it myself.
K. E.
Excellent atmosphere, really good selection of beers and ales and really fantastic food. A more expensive pub but definitely worth it. They now have rooms too so a stay would be amazing
J. M.
We ate at several free houses on our trip to London. The Blackbird was definitely a cut above the rest. The Pimm's cocktail was remarkably dressed and served with no hint of bitterness from the bartender even with the extra effort it required during a hectic dinner rush. All the pies were excellent, the fish pie being my favorite. The convenient sampler of pies and ales was a great way to try several without overdoing either. Service was friendly and efficient, though a bit ambiguous at the outset. We made a repeat visit and had the same server who recognized and welcomed us. Some unconventional items on the menu add distinction and variety - the vegetarian pies, for example. Well done!
R. Y.
I've enjoyed visiting The Blackbird on my last couple trips to London. Not only do they serve up a terrific pint of ale, they also have very good pub fare. I enjoyed the pies. The friendly, helpful staff made the experience even better.
M. G.
Super pub, close to earls Court stn, friendly staff, great choice of beers, covid regulated, worth a visit
R. T.
I was lucky enough to be the second guest to stay at this new hotel so I wanted to write a proper review to get them started!
Firstly, the staff are very welcoming and try their best to make you feel at home.
I loved all the little touches that were in keeping with the pub's name like the blackbird on the shower tile and the lovely feather artwork in the rooms. The bedroom lighting is amazing with lots of options for different moods.. Another nice feature is the television built into the beds. And the masterpiece above the bed - beautiful!
All that and they offer avocado toast for breakfast which is always a plus for me!
So to summarise, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a sweet boutique hotel with a very personal experience. :)

I'm on a visit in Londen and our hotel is like 100m from this place.
The food is amazing especial the tasting board with there winning pies.
The place looks real great like a home pub.
But the staff makes it there real friendly and do anything to make sure you have a great evening.
If you wanna have something to eat make sure you make a reservation because the place is always full
A. G.
Amazing traditional British pies and ale. Recommended the Tasting Board for those wanting a taste a London. One of the best dining places I visited during my stay, will definitely go back if I'm ever around the area. The service was excellent and the decoration amazing.
J.
I loved everything about my Sunday evening at Blackbird. It's a cozy and super friendly pub, Neal poured us some bear to try, and we ordered our first Sunday Roast and Steak pie. Oh. My. God. It was most delicious! Seriously if you're in a mood for a Sunday Roast and you don't know where to go, don't look any further. We enjoyed that there wasn't any TV or loud music like in the USA. It gave us the opportunity to connect with the pub experience and meet the neighbors around our table. There was a family with 4 kids of around 11-14 years old, older couples sharing a meal with a pint, and friends of the area drinking a coffee or beer. Overall it's was a very relaxing time after a day full of wonders in the city. Go and eat delicious food! PS: Not wheelchair/feet injured friendly, the restrooms are downs some steep stairs.
J.
Excellent Freiendly helpful and accommodating staff. Room was lovely Showe fantastic. Perfect for Tube as right opersit couldn't have asked for better.
M. V. B.
The food was really good and also appreciated the atmosphere. We have come back several times to eat and have a drink and enjoyed it every time. Also the breakfast was really good. The pub is really close to earls court station which makes it a good starting point for the day.
C. C.
Great food and traditional English atmosphere. Really clean and fantastic attentive staff. I would highly recommend it for a night out in earls court. They even have a good kids menu with reasonable portion sizes.
R. D.
Had a lovely roast at the Blackbird on Sunday before we went home to Liverpool after a fantastic few days in London. I had pork and my partner had chicken. Both were cooked to perfection and the veg was so nice. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend to go either just for a drink or something to eat. Rosina
d.
Exellent breakfast, is one of the only pubs open in the morning near the station, is very cozy and fast
M. D.
You really can't go wrong with a Fullers boozer, had a pint of the London pride and it was a very nice pint i have to say. I ordered the steak and ale pie which was absolutely delicious and the bar staff were very friendly and would happily have a chat. This establishment was a former bank as someone else mentioned and i have had a good time whenever I've been in here over the years gone by, the spiral staircase can be interesting when inebriated ! All in all a safe bet if you want a nice pint, good food and a well kept clean bar. Only negative really is that the prices are a little high but you are on the Earls Court Road in the Borough of Kensington and Chelsea so can be expected. Highly recommend this place.
A. S.
Their pies are top notch. Really good meat quality and seasoning. Unfortunately, burger is so-so, but that's pretty usual for London. Also, good choice of beers, nice athmosphere and solid coffee.

My experience at the Blackbird thus far has been excellent. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The rooms are cozy, the breakfast delicious, and the atmosphere is lovely. Also, the hotel is very close to the tube, which makes travel very easy. I highly recommend this hotel.
M. H.
Excellent Pub, Excellent Food, Excellent Atmosphere, Excellent Staff and i totally stand by that barman id make anyone say please if they was asking for a drink!!! I found the staff extremely polite and welcoming
Watched the England game yesterday and the pub and was buzzing. Staff ie bar staff was very quick and very polite

R. P.
Stayed nearby and visited this bar every night i was there. Neil and his team took such good care of me and were incredibly welcoming, hospitable and a lot of fun. good food and great tunes as well! will be back for sure.
D. G.
Really delicious, quality and price are great! Server was also very kind and helped us make our choices. Everything is very fresh and I recommend to try the toffee pudding because it was the best thing to wrap up the meal and just heavenly.
B. D.
Had a lovely breakfast. Friendly and quick service
T. R.
Really friendly and helpful staff (thanks Natalie and Manuel), lovely room, very quick and efficient booking & check-in process, excellent and enormous breakfast.
Super easy to Earl's Court tube station but wasn't noisy.
A. R.
Good place, good food and service
C. L.
Recommended by my boyfriend who frequented when living nearby. Great ambiance when we visited on a Friday night with nice and relatively detailed interior comparing to other traditional British pubs. Clean. Will try out their signature home made pie platter at ~19pounds next time. I think the foods there are normal at this price range. I really like Earls Court so no matter what I feel good here.
H. P.
Since recent refurbishment this more upscale pub with rooms has gone from 2 to 5⭐. The staff are excellent. The food is very good. Spotlessly clean. Good atmosphere.
M. W.
Just outside Earls Court. Full of locals and tourists. Great decor and great range of beers at 5.50 a pint. Food looked good and there were alot of people eating. Staff friendly.
P. W.
LOVE IT!!! I want to live in this place. Absolutely fantastic. Before I get to the review please make SURE to book your stay through the hotel itself: and they will give you 15% off. Which I learned after I booked it via a different website. oh well.
we had the top floor which is called ‘The Hitchcock’ room. Fantastic with great attention to detail. The room is a good size, extremely comfortable bed: great bathroom / shower, clean towels daily, complementary drinks: including spring waters ; sparkling waters, non-sparking waters and even beer every day in your rooms refrigerator! really cool doorless elevator: [very safe] complementary breakfast included breakfast was a continental selection of ok quality pastries, juices. Organic yogurts, cereals, there is also a breakfast menu which is part of the included breakfast. Nice quality eggs and bacon. not the best. But nice: The staff is friendly: we even invited a guest to our breakfast which was fine. We just paid their breakfast bill. The pub is always busy, Can’t wait to stay here again!!! Only thing is it’s hard to get in on short notice.
N. M.
Amazing house pie (chicken and chorizo) and great selection of ales.
As Canadian tourists, we had an amazing time with their friendly and courteous staff.
Quite crowded when we went with all ages (young children included), but in a good way that assured us it was the place to be enjoying our meal.
E. P.
Service is pretty slow, but the food and ambiance makes it worth it. I have done both breakfast and dinner there. The meat pies are good, and the full English breakfast was outstanding. Very close to the Earl's Court tube station.
H. S.
I can't review this place as a pub, but we were staying in Kensington, and this became our go-to breakfast spot. Good tea and coffee, and very quick (if they can't get you your food in under 15 minutes, your drinks are free). The yogurt with fruits and granola was good, as was the English breakfast.
S. S.
Corner pub quite famous with regulars. Great beers and a good place for chit-chat with friends. both seatings are available, over the bar or relaxed sofa seating. Quick service, friendly staff, nice decor and great tasting beers make the Blackbird fly high.
P. B.
This used to be my favourite pub in the area but since my last visit it’s been totally remodelled and is now a hotel. Good food and nicely done but no longer a place for a drink. Tourists like it though.
I. K.
This was our first pub experience after landing in London and I hope all the others are just as good. My wife ordered the pie tasting board while I went for the three bird pie and all the pies were delicious!
The waiter who served us was friendly and offered recommendations and opinions on all the different beers which was great as well.
The tiniest mark against this place is that by the time dessert came around, they'd run out of the sticky toffee pudding, maybe next time!
A. M.
Best pies and beers in town. Friendly people and great food. The place is also nice, typical english pub. Try the pudding, too. I recommend the plate with the three pies and the three beers!
C. O.
Staff friendly
Nice
The place is nice and clean
Ooooh I love caramelized shallots
m. C.
Very helpful full staff and brilliant service especially as we never booked a table the manageress squeezed us in
Thank you
R. M.
The tomato and mozzarella salad was great. So was the fish & chips. Ended up a little heavy for my taste, but was a generous portion. Chill, laid back pub.
B. L.
I had a nice glass of wine and food close to my hotel. I felt comfortable and safe even though alone (a supposedly older woman). It was a pleasant find. Did not know it used to be a bank.
L. M.
Had a great Sunday lunch here. Recommended if you're in the area
J. C.
A good local, about half a block from our hotel. Food was good, staff and patrons were friendly; got to watch the most efficient barman I've ever seen there. Prices weren't outrageous by London standards, and they make a mean G&T there. Definitely my favorite in the Earl's court station area.
A. f. M.
My husband and I stopped in for a quick dinner before catching the tube to a show.
After sitting at a table for about five minutes a waitress finally showed up. He ordered a pint of Fullers and I had water, we placed our orders on receiving our drinks. The food arrived within about ten minutes or so and was just fine. The waitress on the other hand, was hanging out behind the bar, tending to the patrons there and never made her way back to our table.
When both my husband and my drinks were dry, she still never came back. I finally had to get up, take my glass to her at the bar, and ask for a refill. I can assure you that when I enter a dine in pub, I do not expect four star service, but it would be nice if the server could at least check to make sure your glass isn't empty. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who expects even a minimum of customer service. It was horrid.
P. C.
Picked this off the internet - stones throw from Earls Court tube. I thought it was great Sunday night and I'd booked a table in the drinks area for 6pm and just made a quick call ahead to say I'd be 10 minutes late which they said was fine. Fairly full but not so packed you couldn't get a drink easily. Great staff and friendly service and good food too.
Recommended !
A. S.
Great Full English, the best in the area! The only downside was the bacon was too streaky but this was easily outweighed by the magnificent sausage. Please check it out, and keep up the amazing work guys!
A. A.
I have stayed at the BlackBird during my work trip in July. I have read good reviews online about the group as I always do before going to a hotel(I haven't personally booked) .
What I loved the most is that this hotel has all the wonderful amenities, feeling and services of a boutique hotel but with super Brit English touch.
The size of rooms were better than the average in Central London.
The decor is very elegant. The bed is soo comfortable.
Each room has a name inspired by a movie or a fictional character.
The bathroom has everything you expect from a 4 star boutique hotel.
You have a complimentary sparkling and still water. Nespresso machine and capsules. Nice tea options and a little cool touch;a daily complimentary beer of the house the Fullers Brewery.
Really good beer.
The hotel has a well known Pub with a local restaurant. Serving delicious English menu all day.
The breakfast was so so good, part buffet and a la carte(included within the breakfast).
Realllllly good food.
The staff are very friendly, helpful and super laid-back.
I would definitely come back.
C. S.
We ate breakfast here on our trip in October 2019. It was delightful. The staff is wonderful and very pleasant. The food was great we had traditional English breakfast and it was very satisfying.
A. M.
3.70 for half a pint of a non famous IPA :/
P. C.
A very nice place to have typical british specialties in a typical british pub.
Venison casserole was very good ! If only we arrived sooner we would have the opportunity to taste the apple pie.
Quick and efficient service. I would recommend this place with no hesitations.
T. C.
Wonderful place! Close to underground. Beautifully decorated pub and rooms that are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Helpful, friendly staff. Natalie and her staff are awesome! Highly recommend.
R. O.
Cute, comfortable, and very accommodating staff
J. H.
Fantastic boutique hotel! Friendly service, gorgeous rooms, great inclusions. Breakfast is delicious! It’s a place where you just feel at home instantly. Would definitely recommend!
R. D.
Refurbished. Great beer selection. Decent service. Lots of tourists... But still worth a visit. And as for the loos... Spacious and clean! In a London pub! Who'd have thunk it?
J. A.
The Blackbird hotel was perfect in any way! The staff were so friendly, from the checking in, to breakfast and checking out.
Our room was truly beautiful and such a pleasure to stay in. Breakfast was also really good! You can start with some basics such as croissants, pain au chocolat etc. and yoghurt/granola.
After this you get to choose anything from the menu, which was amazing.
Location is perfect. Situated just at the underground of Earl’s Court. Direct line from St. Pancras and the city centre!
If I would visit London again, I would definitely stay in the Blackbird Hotel again!
a. m.
The detail to the room was great and staff where so accommodating
J. P.
Big selection of beers in a classic London pub setting. Beautiful to just sit and have a pint, and the food is great too. The Pie and Ale platter is a good way to sample the goodies at this location
H. S.
Great English boozer and bed breakfast, we enjoyed our stay very much. Neil was very friendly and helpful, he is an asset to the place.
P. W.
High priced for drinks but nice bar.
T. P.
Food menu selection is fine. A perfect place for a drink with friends or for any other occasion. 1 minute away from Earl's Court station. Step free access.
A. F.
Excellent service and food was so filling. I had the pie taster plate, consisting of three decent size beers and three scrumptious mini piez. Worth every bit of £19
C. P.
I would like to thank the staff for making my family feel so welcome in celebrating my dad’s 70th! The staff couldn’t do enough for us. I appreciated it. Good food great atmosphere! 😊
A. D.
Buzzy and friendly pub with very attentive staff. I only had a breakfast bap and coffee but it was very tasty and served promptly. Happy to recommend this place.
M. D.
I only visit this pub every few months to meet up with friends. Staff are always friendly and remember us which is lovely. Food very good and I love the new decor. Keep up the good work
P. H.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff
R. B.
First pub... First time in London. A perfect experience. Food and drinks well above average. Friendly locals and neighborhood... Spent a cold Sunday morning reading the Times and drinking hot spiced cider. Felt as if I had been coming there for years. Cheers!
E. M.
Had an excellent fish and chips here. Great combination of the crispy batter and flakey soft fish.
My friend opted for the lamb and leek pie which he was equally pleased with.
J. R.
Good for a not too local highstreet pub in a somewhat touristy area. Had the sunday roast special. The first waiter forgot our order but a new waiter complimented this mistake by offering drinks on the house which goes to show that the staff and owners goes a little longer to preserve good customer relations. The roast was good for a non-gastropub version of the famous sunday eat. Ales and wine were diverse in choice and all in all a good spot for a drink pubstop or single pint.
J. P.
We ate here for breakfast, and it was great. I am a vegetarian, and they had a vegetarian breakfast sausage that was amazing. I love English breakfasts (especially being from the states where I can rarely find one unless I make it) , and the Blackbird was not a disappointment!
F. F.
Great pub with really great food. Not the usual bad one you would expect in an english pub but restaurant quality. Big selection of gins are found and staff is really friendly and helpful. Lovely place.
Т. Х.
Cosy seated pub with alright food
B. G.
Avoid the pies. Unless you like cold pie. Not the first time either, but worth mentioning if this happens. As the staff here are good at sorting these issues.
I had a duck and cranberry pie with mash which had very little meat.
I told the guy who collected our plates about the cold pies. At least he was good at customer service and apologised and offered a drink on the house.
D. C.
Cosy and lovely place to eat situated across the road from Earl's Court Underground. Outside they had a board with cute sayings and I took a photo every day as we passed by. We had a wonderful breakfast there on our first morning in London. The scrambled eggs, toast and salmon was delicious as was the vegetarian breks and the eggs Benedict with salmon. Reasonable prices
D. C.
Good breakfast great location.
A. T.
Great place for Breakfast in Earls court, really friendly staff and excellent food
J. L.
Decent enough London pub, good selection of beers and ales, the staff ate friendly and they also serve decent pub food. Worth a try on a night it with mates...
R. L.
One of the best pubs in London. Well kept beer. Professional staff and a wide selection of excellent food. Highly recommended!!!
C. D.
Absolutely PHENOMENAL! There are not enough words in the English language to encompass the atmosphere and attention to detail.. or perhaps the warm friendly greeting and goodbye. My Mum and I visited for 2 nights in London and by the morning we left we felt like family. Miguel, Natalie, Neil, and Tamara (and the sweetest blonde girl with whom I cannot remember the name of) went above and beyond. You could tell that they were passionate about the blackbird and about making guests feel welcome.
For example, my mum was feeling rather sick and had to stay in for the day. Natalie took the time to tend bring her a warm blanket and compassion, no questions asked. Meanwhile Tamara made her coffee while tending to her room. Also, everytime I saw Miguel I felt like a princess, with the way he just had to make sure everything was perfect. I never in my life have met such warm people. We hugged goodbye!
As for the food.. Scrumptious! I'm not even a fan of fish, but those fish'n chips were amazing. Dessert (toffee sticky pudding?) somehow even better than the meal?
Hotel completely wheelchair accessible and next to the underground! If there's any way I can visit London again I know where I will be staying.
p. r.
As we were staying just down the road in Barkston Gardens, the Blackbird was the logical place to eat during our stay in London. The food was very good. the service acceptable. We had to wait a bit for our food, but that was fine for us as it gave us a chance to absorb the charm of a very enjoyable English Pub. I wouldn't hesitate to stop in again, given half a chance.
D. R.
Really friendly staff that were busy but had time for customers still. Only gripe was the veg on my pie of the day dish was just a bit of cabbage, no peas or carrots etc but it was lovely and well made pie with lovely steak and gravy.
E. K.
Great place for breakfast. The waffle was incredible (just a bit small) and the full English was great. Lovely staff, very friendly. One of the best places nearby for breakfast.
D. V.
Great pies and ales, and a delightful atmosphere. Our hostess was very friendly and gave us good suggestions for our flight of beers.
F. Z.
Came here twice during my visit to London, since it is close to where I stay. It has good traditional English Breakfast option that includes beans and black puddings. Price is also very reasonable. The place may be a little bit worn out but the food is what you go for.
J. M.
A WELCOMEING BRITISH BAR VERY FRIENDLY STAFF WITH EXCELLENT SERVICE INCLUDING FOOD 😀
F. P.
The Blackbird is one of my favourite pubs in London. Why? Because it's just a good pub! No fake interior, very good Fuller's beers, good service, prices are ok and there is a mixture of locals and tourists. #probeergourmet
C. D.
Just what you'd expect from a chain pub in London
Z. P.

We went here on a sunday evening and enjoyed a perfect sunday roast and a pie. Everything on the plates was plenty and delicious.
I recommende to make a reservation if you want to eat here since it seems like a popular place. Reseevations can easily be made online.

Fantastic pub with great food and lovely staff
P. G.
Great food, and great atmosphere, solid service! Coming to you from America, on the advice of my children and a close friend all who had been there more than once or twice before me, I was not disappointed! I will return sooner than later! I promise! Please keep me on your email list! Love the way you roll and should you see Doc Shady or a young lady named Natalie stroll in please say "Hi" for me!!

It was the best breakfast, customer service and atmosphere since we arrived in Kensington! The pub is so beautiful. I.couldn't stop taking photos of it!
D. C.
Went here for breakfast a couple of mornings during a recent trip to London. Service was good, as was the food. Nice clean little pub.

Very helpful with their gluten free knowledge. Not much available and food not.amazing but very decent pub grub x
A. F.
Great pub a stone throw away from Earls Court Station, a very traditional English pub. Great friendly staff, very good range of beer & the pie are to die for! A most visit if staying in Earls Court.
D. W.
Well-kept, clean Fuller’s pub with diligent staff and tasty cask ales, international lagers and craft beers. Has dining rooms towards the back.
S. W.
Amazing! This was our local while we spent close to a week in London. Delicious menu (the pies are the best I’ve ever had) and the selection of beers is vast. Excellent value for money and the staff could not do enough for us. 100% recommend!
L. B.
Best pint in London. Friendly and accommodating. Try the poached eggs on Avacado toast. The best meal I had in the UK.
K. P.
Really cosy and nice atmosphere, good food choice and some vegan options for those into that... Staff are friendly too... Ill come back bere
E. J.
Charming. Took good care to the point of stopping me from ordering something I was allergic too. (Celery in the pie, it's everywhere!) Not however in the smoked fish and mash. Yum.
J. T.
It's really worth visiting this pub. The staff is very friendly, food is very delicious and always served quickly. Great selection of ales.
I will surely come back ... greetings from Austria :-))
M. B.
Really good pours and one of the best pies I've had. Bar staff at times seems a bit overwhelmed when it gets busy, but can be quite attentive and engaging with normal business flow.
W. F.
Fairly typical Fullers pub and layout but with the usual nice food and drinks selction. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, a good spot for a quiet drink.
J. S.

What a fantastic stay. Wonderful room, excellent food. We were taken great care of by Anthony and Stacy. Will be back again for sure.
P. T. S.
Had to try the Ale&Pie tasting board. Really good and a cool way to try it. I only wish that the beers were more different, they blended together so I couldn't tell which was which.
K. &. G. G.
Food was great! Almost amazing. Service sucked so bad we will never come back. Feel terrible but if they few more staff and better manager, this place coukd "kill it"
F. D. T.
What a surprise it was!! I didn't expect all we had in this hotel, clean room, accessories, complimentary Nespresso in the room, exquisite à la carte English breakfast, kindest people! I will return any time possible!
