Great location. Friendly helpful staff. Clean and well serviced room. Pity the restaurant could not serve lunch or dinner at the time but this was due to a national shortage of chefs at the time. Good breakfast. Would definitely go back.

The hotel was exquisitely decorated and carefully managed. Staff were very friendly and professional without being too 'stiff'. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with our bed being able to fit my father and I perfectly despite both of us usually struggling to share sleeping arrangements. The room was implacably clean which was a massive plus. The bathroom was roomy and beautifully fitted, with the shower being the highlight of our trip. There was also plenty of storage available throughout our room which made our stay so much easier. Our room also came well stocked with an excellent variety of teas and Nescafe coffee pods. We really appreciated the little details around the room, such as mini bottle of fresh milk in the fridge rather than creamers! There were plenty of other points that made our stay that much more comfortable, such as a good quality movable hairdryer, a pull-out detail mirror in the bathroom, and a pull-out large TV that could be angled in various directions. It comes to show how much this hotel has taken the time to get to know their customers better so as to provide a luxurious stay. We chose not to have our room cleaned but staff were very accomodating when we requested more coffee pods. Breakfast was also great as they provided a good continental-type breakfast which could be supplemented with menu items, such as a full English or salmon with poached eggs. We do wish that the menu items were slightly larger but they kept us full for the whole day. The hotel was about a 10-minute walk to the Tower of London and about a 2-minute walk to the Tube station, which made it perfect to move around the city. Despite its great location, the street was relatively quiet and we didn't face any issues coming back late on the Saturday night. The price was a bit higher than your average hotel but it was well worth the comfort it provided.

Great location. The roof terrace rooms don't give you any good views, so only worth it to sit out there for a drink in the summer really. Nice hotel, staff are OK, nothing special.

We enjoyed our stay here as a base to stay in London back in July that we booked to stay here again this November. The room was lovely and clean. Good size. Breakfast menu is fantastic. All of the staff at this hotel are very friendly and I must give a shout out to the Breakfast restaurant staff who on both occasions were very engaging and lovely to meet.

Unfortunately our stay was cut short due to unforseen circumstances. My girlfriend and i had to leave without suddenly even staying a night and in the panic rush to get our things to try and make a last train she forgot her purse. After speaking to the hotel and dealing with gent named Christopher the purse has been returned all the way to Dorset safe and sound and we couldn't be more grateful. Hotel seemed really nice and they upgraded us on arrival and was pleasantly surprised to find breakfast included. Will definitely come again(and hopefully stay this time).

We stayed in this hotel for one night only and it was a very pleasant stay!! Rooms are tidy and clean and we were delighted with complimentary water we found in the room after long day of travels. Hotel has a lift which is great if you have baggage. Its very central, right beside station and underground which made our journeys very safe and fast. Hotel rooms have air conditioner, iron, tv, hair dryer, ironing board, hangers and toiletries so we didn't bring any soap/shampoo with us. Bathrooms are very clean and a lot of towels provided. I think the most amazing thing about this hotel was their breakfast. We travelled mid Jan and I thought we would get something basic due to Covid however, their breakfast menu was largest ive ever seen for a hotel breakfast! I will attach the photo. The variety of food like cheese, cereal, yoghurt, porridge is amazing, for everyone to enjoy! Staff are very quick to serve and always welcoming. The layout of the hotel and design was lovely for the pictures. Price is amazing for a hotel in central London too!! 10/10

Busy Fuller's pub and hotel. Decent range of drinks and wines although there were NO Fuller's draught ales available. Food is OK if marginally pricey. Service is pretty good too.

Wanted somewhere we could stay in the city, that we haven't stayed at before. Close to London Bridge which is a plus, when you want to travel around. Room smaller than expected, but cleansiness is a priority for me and it was too notch. Bathroom amazing, same with the shower. We had bathrobes and slippers, thank you. Breakfast, you came downstairs, greeted & was seated. Tell one of the staff members what you would like to have from the menu (it's not buffet style for hot food, you only get one plate). Things like juice, pastries and fruit and tea or coffee are buffet style.
Overall, amazing stay. Would stay here again, but will pay close attention to the room size next time.
I.
Good value hotel with easy access to train stations (aldgate, Tower, fenchurch) and local restaurants. Really nice breakfast included in the price. Good selection of drinks in the bar aswell. Would consider other Fuller hotels based on this stay.
N. W.
Staff are accommodating and friendly, breakfast was lovely and the standard of the room was great. Glad I read the reviews and booked - it's ideal if you're looking to explore London with the Aldgate station just around the corner. The price of the room was more than fair!
L. B.
Very nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast delicious and various. Clean room. Perfect destination from Underground and light Train station.
R. B.
Clean and friendly. I've not visited since the lock and the redesign Hotel is very different .
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The food was excellent.
It's lost some of its querky charm but it's a new thing and will probably develop its own character in time.
If you are looking to stay over in London near the Tower of London area then get in touch. You won't be disappointed. It ticks all the boxes.
R. A.
Had lunch in the restaurant/bar - The Fish and chips were amazing (compliments to the chef) lovely, friendly service too from a lady called Laura! i will definitely be back! 😁
D. W.
Great location just up the the road for the Tower, good value super friendly and helpful staff, rooms are lovely but could do with a bit of tlc...normal priced spirits which won't make you gasp.
H. S.
Brilliant place to stay. Clean and comfortable.
Khaled was brilliant and helpful on reception.
Laura was lovely on the breakfast team and very kind and helpful. Credit to the company.
Only criticism is the sausage at breakfast are not very nice!
N. G.
Good location, very clean room, slept pretty well, bit noisy in the evening like everywhere in london if you're on street side. Receptionist super kind, my new hotel in london

OMG Gorgeous place to stay, will definitely return when visiting London again. Only went for breakfast once, though it was lovely, it was a bit disorganised, had to ask for milk, then butter, then cups cutlery staff were run off their feet.
Our room was one with a balcony was roomy, everything we needed. Was serviced every day clean towels and stocks replenished. Reception staff so helpful, and very pleasant.
A. J.
Lovely hotel. Great staff. Mid range hotels can really vary in standard but I will definitely stay here again.
A. W.
Booked the Chamberlain for a two night stay. Very impressed. Our room (suite) was very comfortable and came with a bath and separate shower. Tea and coffe in the room with a pod coffee maker as well. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice and the hotel staff without fail, were fantastic from front of house to the staff serving meals 10/10 all round. Reccomended.
M. M. F.
A cracking little hotel not far from the Tower. Staff were excellent Laura was superb at breakfast times as were all the staff.
Good location not far from the tube stations and our great capital to explore.
J. Z.
A big thank you to the friendly and professional staff at the Chamberlain Hotel. Spacious double de luxe room, great breakfast, comfortable bed, perfect location. Highly recommended. We'll come again.
t. r.
Nice enough pub, has more of a feel of a hotel bar than a normal pub as it looks from the outside. Doesn't accept cash though & for this reason I wont use again.
D. D.
Lovely room and breakfast, only slight issue was that I think the boiler was located in our room so it was very loud and did wake up a few times because of it
G. C.
This was our first time at the chamberlain hotel and our stay was most enjoyable. Our rooms were very clean and had all the facilities we needed a fridge, nespresso machine etc. Very comfortable beds and great staff very friendly and helpful. Look forward to going back again and would highly recommend due to the location and amenities and comfort and most of all the friendliness. Thank you to all the staff at the chamberlain hotel.
D. S.
clean, friendly, nice breakfast, very comfortable, not too quiet, but definitely a great stay.
L. G.
A nice hotel, close to two underground stations. We booked a luxury double room, it was large, clean and comfortable at a reasonable price.
J. S.
Had a fantastic first stay at the Chamberlain hotel can't fault it. The staff are very helpful and can't do enough for you. The rooms are comfortable the bed was comfortable and a large bathroom a with bath and separate shower. The food was enjoyable the chicken was very tender the small plates were too much to eat. Breakfast we had a full English which we enjoyed. Coming back in November. I would highly recommend this hotel
D. O.
Lovely place. Old but minimalist. Staff were amazing!
A. A.
Superb hotel. Rooms have apparently been recently refurbished and we loved the decor. Clean, comfortable, good WiFi, powerful shower. Hotel in excellent location for all the central sights and well located for numerous tube and bus stops.
They have recently reopened for food also. We ate whilst waiting for our room to be ready and enjoyed our meal so much that we ate in the restaurant two more times and each meal was full of flavour. In London there is so much choice but we kept coming back to The Chamberlain as it was that good!
S. C.
Great service and value. Lovely comfy bed and great sized room
S. V.
I've just checked in and had such a warm welcome by Christopher that I thought I'd leave my review now. Fantastic location and beautiful room, bed and bathroom. Confident this is easily a 5 start experience!!
S. J.
Superb hotel in a very nice location. The staff were super friendly, and the room was large and very clean. We also got a breakfast included for a great price and it was yummy (compliments to the chef)! The people who served us breakfast were also real friendly. We’re going to stay here again sometime in the future so yes, it ticks all the boxes for us.
J. C.
Very nice comfortable rooms with excellent staff, breakfast was good to.

Loved this mini break so close to The Tower and Shard. Really friendly staff with fresh food and bar.
A. D.
Welcoming. Comfortable bed with good quality bedding. Excellent breakfast, good choice and served at table, not buffet. The two waitresses were really good. Location good, near tube, DLR and bus routes. Will stay again on next visit.
D. H.
Staff were friendly. Hotel was very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was lovely. Great value for money, would definitely stay here again. Slightly disappointed food wasn't available outside of breakfast.
l. m.
The staff here are exceptional from the receptionist to cleaners to breakfast team all very lovely. The rooms are comfortable but dated. Fine if you just need a safe place to stay.
J. S.
Exceptional staff Sophia was great , the rooms were immaculate I would definitely stay here again !
J. P.
Very nice well presented rooms luxurious bathrooms hotel furnished to a very high standard breakfast good
C. M.
Great for an overnight stay, good breakfast wide choice, comfortable bed in a well equipped room including iron and ironing board!
M. c.
Very clean room comfortable bed great breakfast happy days
J. G.
I wouldn't consider it a 4-star hotel. Staff great but the rooms are over priced and looking a bit tired.
C. S.
Great hotel, very friendly staff, lovely room, delicious breakfast, decent bar and conveniently located would definitely recommend and stay again....only let down....the weather
L. S.
Great hotel!. Great location right by tower bridge. The staff in the restaurant / bar were so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be returning.
A. D.
Excellent Hotel, clean, comfortable and well located. Well worth the price and staff very helpful.
M. L.
Have stayed at this hotel many times very good close to everything you need 😃
The bar staff Dan and Victoria made my stay more enjoyable the cocktails they make are second to none I highly recommend staying here !

We stay for 3 nights, and we had a amazing experience. The service was very nice.
The room was big and the bathroom was enough. They gave free minibar (it includes water, milk and beer), also they had coffee, tea and biscuits.
We had breakfast included in the price and they had a buffet with a lot of great options cold and hot dishes (you could choose between different types of eggs).
M. T.
Very good location near the financial district. Very friendly service in the hotel. Big rooms but the building is a bit old so expect a little loud climate control system and gaps in the door. Surprisingly the room had a hair dryer and a nice bathtub. The beds are comfy and I really liked the complementary services for the mini bar. Do not go into the pub. The service is bad and the people seem to like to spend more time with their friends that with customers. One of the reasons why this place is pretty much empty every day.
L. S.
Absolutely fantastic hotel! Great food, great service and so clean!
Great location also. Don't hesitate to book!! 👍
a.
This hotel is in a great location and the staff are amazing! The room was exceptionally clean and housekeeping works around the clock. The front desk staff happily gave us detailed directions every time we asked. The amenities are also exceptional as you're allowed two complimentary bottles of local beer as well as bottled water. The food in the pub is great as was the service. I will always book this hotel while traveling through London.
A. H.
Wonderfully renovated. Breakfast is continental style plus a menu that you can order 1 dish from (the maple syrup pancakes with bacon were delicious). Hospitable and friendly staff. Location is also a big plus, close by foot to several monuments and easy tube access in any direction. Would recommend to anyone visiting London.
R. O.
Lovely hotel, room was perfect and the bed was so comfortable, slept like a baby. Breakfast was included and absolutely gorgeous.

I was not sure if this was going to be a five star review to begin with. I was speaking at a conference nearby. My flight was coming in late in the day and I let the hotel know and they kindly emailed me back with what I suppose is a cookiecutter reply confirming my late check-in and they added that it was "free of charge" which totally skewed my perception of them. I mean what kind of hotel says that on an email on a 'late' arrival which is just three hours after the usual 12.00pm check-in time? I travel internationally and this is my first experience of such an approach. So, what made me change my mind? The staff predominantly. They are really good. Friendly and helpful. The overall service level is what you expect from a 4-star hotel in a metropolitan location with international guests.
The room was good. The location is brilliant. Easy access to the tube and Circle line plus a gazillion places to see if you have time. Lots of organic/vegan restaurants nearby, if you're in that sort of thing and lots of places to go out to. But these are all benefits of the location.
So, yes the service is good and the staff are awesome and that was more than enough to turn around that initial stumble with the email which, maybe they should change at some point because surely I can't be the only guest who arrives at an unusual time and doesn't expect to be told that it doesn't incur extra charges.
J. D.
Really great experience. Front desk staff very warm and helpful. Room cozy, bathroom gorgeous with quality toiletries and huge thick towels. Delicious breakfast added on at a reasonable price. Free minibar. Minutes away from two tube stops, easy walk to Liverpool St. Station. Right on the edge of the City of London and scant minutes to the Tower. Great place to stay for business travel or sightseeing.
D. H.
Absolutely lovely hotel!
Staff couldn't do enough to help us, it's quite quiet even though it's bang in the centre of London and the rooms are lovely, well decorated, clean and nice to be in, although a little on the small side.
Breakfast was great and not too expensive for London, full English has all you'd expect and there's quite a bit else to choose from. The bar good but can get a little busy.
J. S.
A decent enough place to have a drink when in the area, no issues to report.
Updated Dec 2019: we called in for a late(ish) breakfast. Great service and excellent food. It's had a really smart facelift since we last visited, well worth a star upgrade.
Well done !
J. M.
Lovely clean hotel, friendly staff, great value for money
O. J.
Excellent room, very pleasant staff. Overall the room was a very decent size for a city hotel, and nicely equipped with a proper coffee machine, free snacks and beer from the associated brewery and other similar nice touches. The bed was comfortable, modern design throughout - really just very pleasant.
The only real negative was that the bathroom was a little dated for what was the most premium room category, and didn't appear to fit with the rest of the room. I'm not tall (under six foot) but had to duck slightly under the shower.
All that being said, I'd happily stay again.
A. P.
Old fashioned hotel two minutes walking to the Tower. Excellent bed very large and very comfortable. Clean and large bathroom with shower. Coffee machine and kettle. Wifi is poor as everywhere. Injurious price 16.95 fir the breakfast. Actually if you book it the day before it is 'only' 10.95. It is good, anyway, everything is fresh and well cooked on the spot. They offer a number of fixed menu each one with something that I like and something that I don't like. Carpet in the stair needs to be renovated and an armchair in the room is much needed.
C.
We had a lovely family trip stopping at the Chamberlain Hotel. Great breakfasts, lots of choice.
C. J.
Just back after a 2 night stay at the chamberlain everything from start to finish was excellent all the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and well equipped, breakfast had a lot of variety to choose from and the price of the room is very reasonable for the location of the hotel just 5 minutes walk away from one of London's main attractions tower bridge. Will definitely look at booking the chamberlain again above other hotels on my next visit to the capital

Turned up spontaneously with a party of 12. Staff were really helpful and were happy to rearrange part of the dining room for us to accommodate. Service was quick, polite and well managed. Food arrived in a timely manner and to a great standard.
O. T.
I love this place. lovely quiet rooms in the middle of the bustle of Aldgate. comfortable beds, en suite with good toiletries. helpful staff. and a stocked fridge! even my request for soy milk was accommodated.
I always love staying here
K. C.
The pork belly was deland service was amazing 👏🏾
S. H.
Good for the money paid, but first room.i had was noisy. After asking to be moved the second room was a lot better. Rooms are not the most modern interior he world, but also not too dated. For international travelers they supply a big android device for your use while out and about in London, and you can make free calls on it too (not relevant to me, but a nice touch). They also provide a lightly stocked (a couple of beers, bottled water etc) mini-bar which is complimentary and restocked each night, which is also a nice touch. Bed was comfortable and room clean.
K. G.
I stayed at this great hotel for a month. Service was excellent the staff warm, pleasant and catered to every need. Chris patiently answered my many questions. The rooms are spacious & very well equipped with handy phone which has free internet & telephone, coffee machine & all amenities. Breakfast is very good & varied. The bar is lively & noisy & has quite good food. The hotel is quite far from city center but very close to tube & multiple bus stations which make any part of London easily accessible. I strongly recommend.
I don't understand why my review was marked 3/5: I wrote that everything was exceptional & I would rate the hotel as 5/5
J. M.
This is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel and it will not be the last, First class service and friendly staff, compalmentry drinks left in the room, good breakfast. spotless room, all the staff seem to go that extra mile to make your stay memorable for all the right reasons.
2.
Nice hotel, small but very competent chain, and helpful, pleasant staff. Turned up very late one Sunday night after phoning ahead and they were exceptionally helpful. Lovely quiet room and a good place to have a civilised drink.
N. K.
This hotel has a lot of potential but lacks in atmosphere. With work and a bit of advertising it will do much better. Theres a cocktail bar downstairs which is lovely but usually empty due to its lack of advertisement. The food also in my opinion could do with a bit of rethinking l, we sampled the Christmas menu which personally for the price I found the portions very small and the flavour combinations very strange. For the lamb it was paired with tapenade, olives and some other bits. The lamb was cooked well but the sides didn't really work with it. In my opinion stick to the classics. I personally wouldn't eat there again as I found the food wasn't for me.
The rooms themselves were lovely and the breakfast although a bit disorganized was pleasant and the staff very friendly.
My final summary great hotel, ok breakfast wouldn't use it as a pub or restaurant I would head straight to the cocktail bar downstairs where the very lovely staff can make great cocktails and have good banter.
S. W.
We had lunch here today on the last day of our break in London. Food was excellent! We'll be back.👍
M. C.
Lovely place to stay with amazing staff
I. W.
Visited as part of a business trip up to London for a couple of days. Easy to locate, and good joining instructions.
Received a warm welcome at Reception, and I did like the nice music being played, classic jazz style music, no muzac.
Room was very comfortable, and spacious, very clean and tidy, and well equipped as well. Mine came with complimentary water, beer and milk(!).
For tourists, there's a mobile phone you are provided for the duration of your visit, being able to make local calls, use as a tour guide, etc. No worries about privacy here for this, as it wipes all data when you end your stay.
All in all, I would recommend this hotel, probably the best one I've stayed in in London.
Travel is good and easy, Aldgate station about 5 minutes walk away. Go the other way, under the railway bridge and you'll have Tower of London and Tower Bridge all within a 10 minute walk.
Breakfast was nicely presented, nothing too heavy, just the right amount. Didn't eat there in the evening, but as this is a Fullers restaurant, can expect the food to be pretty decent.
O. B.
Quiet. Good breakfast. Rooms are standard London-small. Needed a decorative refresh in my room on second floor. Staff attentive. Laundry service ridiculously expensive, cheaper to buy new clothes - literally.
F. K. (. F.
I only had drinks (a lot) and got a few plates of their lovely selection of hot snacks for everyone to share and I couldn't ask for more, in terms of having drinks with friends. The deco is typical London pub-like, but clean and spacious for a busy place. The selection of drafts are excellent as well the food, which didn't take long to get after ordering (which again is great for such a busy place) and the staff were all awesomely friendly. The toilets located on the lower floor were also clean and functional. I possibly would give them for stars, as the of the portions could be a little larger for the price, but they are good, so makes up for that a little and added bonus, a pair of bike bars to lock your bike securely to right outside their entrance 😃 It's a simple place for sure, but still would recommend the bar, even if it's just for a quick pint or glass of wine with family and/or friends 😁
M. P.
Friendly, large luxury bathrooms and great location. Food is stunning.
It all feels a a little tired, hence four stars rather than five, although this wouldn't discourage me from staying again. The staff are extremely helpful and genuine willing to help. Clean, quiet room and comfortable. Recommended
E. H.
Helpful, friendly and polite staff, evening and breakfast food was very good
C. v. H.
We had a meal here as part of a work Christmas function. The food was excellent and though it looked like small portions, it added up over the three course meal. Wait staff were attentive and the decor was that of a classic British pub. Overall, a great evening.
J. R.
Great old Victorian Style Hotel. Book directly with hotel for the best prices. Staff were also 5-star. Bed/room/bathroom were fantastic and very large.
Bar and restaurant were also top-notch.
C. B.
Great little hotel with very friendly and considerate staff, cozy yet modern rooms, good breakfast and very well stocked bar with an attached restaurant that offers tasty pub food classics.
I've stayed twice so far. During my first stay, we had to leave one day early due to a short notice appointment, but we couldn't change the advance booking. However, we received a room upgrade, free breakfast for the other two days and a generous voucher for the restaurant. Very considerate and friendly!
The rooms are very well furnished and have a complimentary minibar that is stocked with water and two beers that are refilled every day. Then of course there is complimentary tea and coffee, bath robes and slippers and all other standard amenities. For guests with no good mobile roaming options, there also is "handy", a complimentary smartphone that you can carry with you during your stay for free mobile internet, free worldwide calls and deals for stores and attractions.
Note: My review is for the Deluxe Superior rooms.
K. F.
Had drinks and food in the bar. Food was good. Was nice and quiet on a Saturday afternoon for sitting having a chat and catching up with some friends who were staying at the hotel. They said their room was nice. Good location near to tube stations and not far from Tower of London.
D. D.
Beautiful hotel with amazing views. Friendly staff, clean rooms and lots to do in the area. Definitely make time for the roof top pool which is refreshing in the summer but will also give you great views of the falls illumination and fireworks.
I. S.
A wonderful accommodation at a great spot. Beautiful rooms and a charming staff. very good breakfast and a cosy pub. Ideal location and at really good prices for the London standards.
K. S.
wanted to stay in a small and charming hotel right in middle of the 'city of london' neighborhood. loved it. it was exactly as i hoped. lot of wood, elegant decor, and the pub stayed open late (2am i think?) for guests only. having cask beer at your leisure any time of day or nite was utter perfection. friendly but not overbearing staff. small rooms with USB ports all over the place and super comfortable beds. complimentary waters and beers in the fridge stocked daily. what!? the restaurant was just so-so, not outstanding...though they did have a 'happy birthday' cake in our room upon arrival for my husband, which we both found very generous and impressive. would recommend!
J. E.
Drinks for two and food for one. I had the chicken and mushroom pie with mash and greens which was unbelievably delicious. The gravy was just right and rounded up the dish perfectly. Yuuuuuum. Ended my meal with the Apple strudel and would eat it again tomorrow. Absolutely fab. Lovely staff too :)
R. A.
Very friendly staff who upgraded our room for free and got us into our room 4 hours early. Helps with any requests that we have made to the best of their ability.
Rooms are nice (a little small) but when you are exploring London it is all you need.
B. T.
Excellent location for access to The Tower of London, River cruises. Tower Bridge.
Some nice pubs in the immediate location.
Good underground station access.
Clean rooms. Good staff.
R. H.
My stay at the Chamberlain was a bit of a disappointment. Despite being told that I was upgraded to a deluxe room, I ended up in a very small and dated room with a tiny window and no view. Luckily it was clean and the bathroom had good amenities. Not sure I'd stay there again though.
P. V.
A really understanding team, who accommodated my needs and supplied a table for 5 people when I initially booked a table for 4 people.
I. S.
I came to the Chamberlain Pub for drinks on a Friday evening with a group of friends and really liked this charming place. It was busy but not overcrowded. They had a decent verity of drinks at reasonable cost, including local craft beers and ales. The staff was friendly and efficient. I will be coming back here again soon ;)

Classic pub hotel with a few issues around the edges .
Needs new fixture s and fittings to update the place. It's also in the business area so nothing to do at night. Fortunately there's transport links very near.
We had a lovely room on the top floor with a view of the Gherkin. everything's fine and love the idea of a drink and toothpaste and shaving foam for free, nice touches .
the only issue we had is food.
something is going on in their kitchen, two of our three meals came out cold which is not great. that given we were offered a discount on the room and food by the fantastic management staff
big shout out of those Deborah and Chris
D. T.
A hotel but with a proper bar/pub as part of the fittings. Easy comfortable place to have a beer, good beer it is too. Certainly worth a visit if you are in the Minories (predictive tried to turn that to memories, caught it in time).
K. K.
Stopped here around 5pm. Not to busy, clean and reasonable range of drinks.
K. B.
Good hotel, clean tidy, pleasant staff, great breakfast.
T. B.
Great Location! Chamberlain Hotel offers amazing service. Staff were very friendly and polite. All rooms and toilets are neat and clean. I would highly recommend Chamberlain Hotel.
D. C.
Arrived 4 hours early to be met with a rather witty chap at the front desk, he made both the wife and I smile instantly. We revieved a free upgrade for no other reason other than it was a lovely thing to do. We went to our room which was decorated in a rather shabby shique style that was a hit with us both. The room was immaculate and there was free beer in the fridge that the hotel makes itself, free water bottles too and both are refilled for free daily. The hotel was incredibly clean and quiet! To top the experience off with a bang, we come from the Isle of Man so our 4g won't work in the UK, the Chamberlain already prepared for such events and they have a fully charged mobile phone in the room with Google maps, all the apps anyone would need to find their way around London, oh yes and all phone calls and data usage is compliments of the chamberlain hotel for the duration of your stay! We had our first stay there last night, the bed was beautiful and so was our nights sleep 😴 😴 I can say wholeheartedly that so far, the chamberlain is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in, London City
M. G.
Nice hotel, confortable rooms and nice staff. The hotel's pub/restaurant, however, sas a disapointment . We waited a very long time before someone came to take our order, then waited some more... to be told that the kitchen was closed due to the late hour. The receptionnist suggested we order in-room paninis...
There are vegetarian and vegan options for dîner and breakfast, which is nice.
M. E.
Stayed here for 2 evenings. Very nice hotel and comfortable. Good selection of food available for breakfast, bar snacks etc. Good selection of drinks. Room very nice and comfortable. Would stay again.
R. P.
Wonderful 4* hotels, nice and friendly staff, room spacious and clean, super breakfast! Highly recommend, 10 mins by walk to Liverpool train station and two minutes by walk from aldgate tube station! Definitely a very comfortable, and strategic place to stay in central London!
J. S.
Staff had no idea about atmospherics to include: parking and local restaurants. The front desk should have a general understanding of the local area and know current parking areas. Google stated this hotel had on site parking when in fact it didn't. The front desk were not helpful to the situation.
N. B. (.
Great hotel near the Tower of London and Tower Hill tube station. Part of the Fuller's brewery series of pub hotels, which meant free beer in the minibar!
The rooms were clean and spacious and the bathrooms even more spacious. The room we had even had its own coffee machine ☕
The room also came with 'Handy' - a mobile phone with Internet and phone credit for guests to use fee of charge whilst staying with the hotel and travelling in London.

After venturing in on spec my partner and I decided to stay for something to eat. This is not the most aesthetically pleasing eatery we have been to but the service and food were faultless. I would highly recommend and look forward to paying another visit in the not too distant future.
O.
A very decent hotel. One thing that kinda left bad taste was our bathroom which -while being nice, started to produce sever-ish smell extremely easy and if we forgot the door open the oder would spread to our room fast. Other than that very pleased
E. S. T.
A wonderful hotel. Great location near the London Bridge. Wonderful breakfasts and a charming and pampering room. Even a mobile phone with the Internet we got to use during the time . Just perfect.
M. A.
The loaction is pretty good, it's right in between 2 train stations so easy to get around. The rooms were clean and staff were friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. Good hotel for the price.
B. M.
Wonderful hotel. Don't change lobby and gorgeous wood banister. Great full English breakfast and staff are so helpful and friendly.
R. M.
Very accommodating, allowed check in at any time. Room was lovely and bed very comfy. Shower was powerful however shower curtain not very effective so everything in bathroom was soaked!
N. K.
A definite easy recommendation. This hotel looks and feels historic but with all of the modern and amenities. The staff is super courteous and helpful and it's location is ideal for seeing London. Stay here!
J. P.
Easy to find with helpful friendly staff. Room was well presented and comfortable. Restaurant was good and food tasty.

IN A WORD: GREAT
If You've been following My reviews, You'll know that My dietary habits are very, very specific: Plant-Based Vegan Wholefood. Nope! I'm not looking to preach to You as the information is out there! It's up to You to figure it out. But, at the same time, please feel free to ask Me any question on Plant-Based Nutrition. Anyway, let Me get on with this review...
LOCATION
The Chamberlain Hotel is in a fantastic location; it's about a 5 - 10 minute walk from London Bridge... As a result, The Chamberlain Hotel is in an ideal spot! Therefore, it's very easy to get to! There's the London Underground tube, a myriad of buses, and taxi. I got there via two buses: 279 to Manor House - I should've gotten off a stop or two before Manor House - and the 254 that took Me pretty much all the way there! I just had to walk up the street to access the venue!
For Your information, I prefer to travel by bus to take in all the scenery! London - especially in the EC region - is breathtaking to look at!
THE VENUE ITSELF
The Chamberlain Hotel is a wonderful building on the outside. On the inside, it's very spacious and decorated - aside from the seasonal decor - in a very subdued way. It's very relaxing. You don't think to Yourself, "I don't belong here..." I felt right at home straightaway. Well, I guess it helped that I met with Parishioners from My Body Church (Dojang/Gym) for Our annual Xmas Dinner together!
THE STAFF
The Staff is what makes The Chamberlain Hotel all the more special! They are friendly and very helpful - as You'd expect. They had no problem with Me bringing My Own food. They brought Me a plate to put My food on. I just had to pay £13 for The Service, which I think is fair. My Fellow Parishioners had 3 course meals, and were pampered!
Obviously, I can't comment on the food served. All I can say is that it was served expertly.
THE PUB
I'm not much of a drinker... Alcohol does not appeal... However, I would have wanted the pub aspect to be wider in terms of the range of drinks. I would've had a Vegan based wine and/or a cider. I know the cider brand, Old Mount, is Vegan. I was disappointed that there wasn't a bottle in sight! But it was no big deal! Maybe there could've been an option to have had some freshly squeezed juices. I mean, how difficult would it have been to run some carrots, ginger roots, oranges, apples, etc, through a juicing machine? Not very! In the not too distant future, I hope The Chamberlain Hotel ups its Plant-Based Vegan game!
CONCLUSION
I am planning to book a weekend, at some point, just to explore that region. It's massive! This is the EC district alone! If You love long walks, it's possible to walk from London Bridge to Tottenham Court Road/Oxford Street and back again!
Yes, the plan is to book a room - perhaps with a Female Friends, and explore the area! I'll most likely update this review in due course.
In the meantime, I thoroughly recommend The Chamberlain Hotel. It's great for Staff/Group Parties, Reunions, and to socialise in the pub area. The Doorman was very friendly too! Treat Yourself!
D. M.
My favourite hotel in London. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Solid WiFi connection and always a decent desk in the room for work. Now for the big win.... Actual milk in the mini fridge! I cannot stand those horrible little uht things. The Chamberlain is the only place to put milk in the fridge for a proper cup of tea in the morning. You also get 2 free bottles of beer! Can't knock that!
G. S.
Great place to stay. Complimentary beers, papers, and coffee. With friendly staff, clean rooms and a tasty breakfast.
Ł. C.
Really good looking hotel, nice and stylish. Big comfortable bed and a bottle of craft beer on house. Aircon in the room. Very good location - 10 minutes walk to the Tower Bridge.
M. S.
Pleasant Fullers pub with a hotel attached to it. Can't speak for the hotel but the pub was good, with all the usual fullers suspects available for consumption. Didn't eat but the food looked good as it was heading out of the kitchen.
L. G.
Very disappointed, bathroom very shabby and tired. Extremely noisy from people back and forth in corridor, definitely not soundproofed. Would not stay again, very overrated.
J. G.
Great location room very clean ,staff helpful and friendly. Nice touch of complementary items in the fridge. Highly recommend. Will definitely come back.
P. T. J.
Super friendly staff and good tasting food. Portions a bit small (we only had breakfast), but definitely tasty! Prices are alright
E. B.
The location is great, near by central transportation, and close to landmarks
Great service even when there is a refurbishment.
The room are really large for london and top quiet
Good value for the money 🤑
E. I.
Great place to stay near all the action in London. Close to a couple of underground stops and a bunch of Tesco Express & eateries. Staff was friendly, room was clean and cozy. Reasonably priced.
B. K.
Very good location, spacious and clean room, fully equipped bathroom, really helpful and kind reception staff. Also very nice bar! What else to ask for?
E. B.
Good location, good service, nice and quiet room except the noise in the corridor you may hear through the main door. I especially appreciated the breakfast which is good and copiuou.I also appreciated the "charm" of the stairs and some of the doors.
L. H.
Typical English pub which, although generally busy with local office workers, isn't oppressively loud as they keep music to a minimum. A decent choice for after work drinks and catching up with colleagues.
V. B.
Excellent.. great rooms, lovely food, warm friendly staff. Close to everywhere in London. Highly recommended this place
M.
I only had breakfast here as they also slow non guests to eat here. Very good veggie breakfast and fancy decour. Staff are also special.
S. D.
A very nice hotel and a great location.
Staff are very friendly and helpful especially the restaurant team <3
Highly recommended
R. G.
Clean with decent sized bed rooms. Being attached to a pub the hotel has a great selection of wines, spirits, lagers and ales.
G. L.
Large bar restaurant which is part of the Fullers chain of pubs. It has a nice range of beer and a small outside area which was nice and sunny when we were there. There's no outside seating however.
S. M.
Lovely hotel and room. Restaurant and bar very good too. Helpful and friendly staff. Would go back.
D. T.
It is a really nice hotel in london and it is under refurbishment. Therefore the rooms are well equipped and have so much to offers.
C. H.
Really nice place, especially since the refurb. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere, well worth a visit for a lunchtime or post work pint.
D. S.
Nice Hotel Good service and Good breakfast.
Fullers English breakfast. They also got Marmite wich i like a lot . The Hotel i close to the Aldgate tube station 5 min walk.
a. c.
I don't know how these places do it. In the heart of the city, yet still away from all the bustle. Is modern, yet retains a old world charm.. definitely not your run of the mill businesses chain hotel..
R. A.
A reasonable place for a spot of lunch
P. P.
Room was well appointed, lovely decor, comfortable bed. Breakfast downstairs was great every day.
i. h.
We stayed there for five amazing nights, the staff were friendly, room service was good. I would recommend it for a good comfortable holiday .
N. M.
Everything was perfect!! Se really enjoy our stay. All the staff was nice and friendly. Defenetly we'll coming back soon.
S. T.
Located next to Thai Square. Large bar area at the front, reasonable sized restaurant. Nice service and friendly bar staff. Very nice traditional pub food served.
D. H.
It's not cheap but you get what you pay for.
Been a while since our last visit, newly refurbished but rooms & staff still excellent.
J. I.
Good drinks meny with several good wines by the glass. Really friendly staff and great that we could choose to sit further in the pub in the more quiet area
C. T.

L. S.

P. S.
Very clean good rooms and breakfast and quiet
C. M.

J. K.
Nice helpful staff.. Would definitely go back.

C. H.
Great boutique hotel, genuine friendly British charm and great breakfast. The bigger rooms are a lot nicer though
T.
Beautifully clean. Very friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again. Short walk to tower Bridge.
A. K.
The rooms are quite nice, but can get extremely noisy - from other guests getting in and out of their rooms to vacuuming outside when you are trying to take a nap.
f.
Had a great time evening. Having drinks with colleagues from work. Clean nice place staff are polite and friendly
G. P.
Ok pub for a few beers, not a great range on tap compared to some places and the outside smoking area is just an alleyway but lots of space and comfortable seating inside.
D. M.
Social drinks with ex colleagues on a Friday lunchtime and the Chamberlain always comes to mind because the beer is good and it is quiet so you can talk and be served easily.
N. A.
This is a supremely comfortable hotel. The rooms are spacious, lovely and spo.,
tlessly clean.
J. “. G.
Room was to hot but nice enough otherwise. Few beer in the fridge every day is great.

Wifi constantly prompted for authentication. Multiple calls to support did nothing for me. Room was excellent, but constant issues with staying connected to the wifi. Major pain.
A. m.
Got upgraded to superior room with complimentary minibar and complimentary smartphone to use during my stay. Great room and great breakfast.
