The hotel was located in a very central spot which made it very convenient for touring via public transit from London Victoria. The staff were friendly and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The rooms must have been renovated as they appeared a lot more modern than the rest of the hotel’s common areas. There is a good-sized fitness centre on the 7th floor which was also very nice (equipped with free weights and cardio equipment). It was a bit noisy at night but that is to be expected with a hotel in that location. It was excellent value for our stay.

The hotel is beautiful, amazing decorations and beautiful lobby.
One part of staff is wonderful, and others are just bothered to reply you. Especially in the restaurant I didn’t feel welcomed.
Some really basic amenities are missing from the rooms, such as mats for the bathroom floor, cotton pads or body lotion. The breakfast didn’t have a lot of varieties , with a limited selection of fresh fruit, Turkey/Chicken and not even a black bread. The waiter didn’t know how to prepare a latte coffee.
I liked my room, was spacious and comfortable (the first one they gave me was smaller and with no views), clean and their bedsheets was super soft.
All of this said, the obvious part is also the great location of the hotel - super central if you're looking to tour around main parts of London.

This hotel is impeccable! The Service, staff and rooms are amazing.
The rooms are huge and very comfortable, although they overlook Victoria station it really doesn’t matter too much. Very clean.
Staff were absolutely delightful and made the stay even more pleasurable. They even surprised us with desserts in our room for my Mum’s birthday!
If you get the chance to stay here, do it!

As a party of four we arrived at the hotel early . This wasn’t a problem for the hotel as they booked us in and as the rooms were available we were given our room keys along with a complimentary token for a drink at the hotel bar. The hotel is absolutely beautiful very friendly and extremely clean. Staff were very friendly especially Mohammad at breakfast time he looked after us as soon as we arrive and throughout our weekend stay making us feel very special . Will definitely use this hotel again

Outstanding hotel with a beautiful historic atmosphere, absolutely everything we could have wanted, down to the little details such as underfloor heating in bathrooms. Beautiful reception area and rooms, incredibly comfy bed, very friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast was included and completely exceeded our expectations in both range of food offered and quality. We ate in the restaurant which was great and even received complimentary drinks. Absolutely wonderful would be delighted to stay again, thank you.

Central hotel conveniently located for city trips. Recently refurbished, the hotel has kept its original classic charm. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Our deluxe king also had a nespresso machine and complimentary drinks. Great english breakfast, less so the "mediterranean" choices and no fresh juices available. Very good value for money overall. Would definitely stay here again.

Really nice hotel which looks like it has recently being refurbished. It is literally part of Victoria train station so very handy for trains. Rooms were very modern and decorated to a high spec. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were given two tokens for a complimentary drink at the bar which was a nice touch plus there were complimentary water, soft drinks and sweets in our room. Our rate included breakfast which we had delivered to our room for no additional cost. Full English was excellent. Only one of the hotel bars was open (COVID) but there are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby.

I stayed a few days and nights here in 2018 (when it was called the Grosvenor) before meeting friends in another part of the city. Nice people; clean and comfortable rooms; lovely old building; and you can't do better in the way of location. STAY HERE.

Fantastic location, next to Victoria station. Allowed to check in early, our toddler was issued with a complimentary teddy bear, room was fresh, clean and had complimentary drinks in fridge and token for free drink each, in bar. Comfortable night's sleep, sofa bed was prepared already. Breakfast was a buffet with great selection, full English. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful reception and communal areas. On check out they were happy to store our luggage until pickup later the afternoon. All and all a great experience staying at this hotel and I would recommend it!

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is wonderful, but you really get very little for what you pay for - room sizes are extremely small and in practice very cramped, and some really basic amenities are missing from the rooms, such as mats for the bathroom floor after you shower or body lotion. The gym is also really small with a very limited selection of equipment to use (no free weight rack). All of this said, the obvious part is also the great location of the hotel - super central if you're looking to tour around main parts of London.

Stayed here for a night with our 3yo. Very welcoming staff. Quite a large hotel, we were on the 7th floor in the wings which meant 2 lifts to get here, but the views were stunning from up here! Due to the height the water in the shower took a while to warm up but as we weren’t in a rush it wasn’t an issue. Very well situated hotel. We received 3 “coins” when we arrived which got us 3 drinks from the bar for free which was a nice start to our evening. Gorgeous entrance hall to the hotel too

This is a lovely hotel in an incredible location. Beautiful public areas. Very clean, well appointed bedrooms. Free mini bar and smart TV. Very quiet considering it is pretty much on top of Victoria Station. Lots of choice for room service offered by local restaurants. We stayed just one night as we were in London for business (location handy for US embassy in Nine Elms) but we'll be back for a more leisurely stay.

Great location, and impressive looking hotel. We were moved here from another hotel - but we needn’t have worried. ALL staff were friendly and attentive. Room was fine , kettle had a strong taste / smell of soap (?) inside it, but this was quickly rectified. Room clean and well appointed. Hotel felt safe during covid times. All in all a very pleasant stay - would like to return :-)

We spent three nights in London Victoria to celebrate a special occasion. Upon arrival the check in experience was excellent. The room was spotless, beautifully furnished and - following our booking request - perfectly quiet, despite being literally on top of a station.
Special thanks to the staff who was so attentive and professional throughout our stay - in particular Luke! :)

Excellent staff, great location , good service and breakfast. Comfy beds. Lovely entrance hall, imposing staircase. Would recommend.

We went here for the food and were really pleasantly surprised. The cauliflower steak was fresh, well cooked and seasoned. One of the highlights was the vegan battered fish as a starter. Very tasty, great texture, a very good substitute really. The staff were also welcoming and nice.
S. L.
Great lunch menu, starters are big enough to be a small meal. They have Chapel down wine on the menu which is my favourite. Really elegant decor, quiet and super close to Victoria Station to catch a train. Will return!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Clermont, great hotel, good location, quiet, clean and beautiful.
We were given two coin tokens to redeem at the bar. Which was great.
The hotel is lovely, clean and the decor at the reception is beautiful. My room was very clean, big, comfortable bed and pillows.
I was surprised to see so much at the mini bar and it's all free, I enjoyed that. Thank you.
The breakfast is great, many options to choose from. The staff were friendly, very nice and always ready to help.
The staff at the restaurant looked so busy but they attended to our needs with smiles. You made our stay very comfortable and nice. Thank you.
I will definitely be coming back to the Clermont

Stayed here for 2 nights for a weekend break with friends. Booked the hotel based on all the amazing reviews but it was a lacklustre experience. Room had no electricity upon arrival with a panel opened in the bathroom ceiling hanging down. This wasn’t a massive issue as it was fixed when mentioned. However for a room booked for 3 people they really were stingy with their amenities. Only 2 beers in the mini fridge (we don’t drink). We mentioned this the next night and the lady said this wasn’t right and the snacks should’ve been filled up. She sent someone to fill this up and said she will ring back in regards to this - it was filled with only 2 waters, 2 biscuits, 2 canned drinks etc. No call back was made. Sofa bed also has a massive dent in the middle so made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. On check out we mentioned the lack of drinks for a 3 people room and no call back, to which we were told our message would be passed on. Not the worst stay but not the best either.
P. K.
A stunning hotel with excellent service, and the food exceptional. We spent two night's in a really, really comfortable quiet air conditioned room with complimentary items that made the stay that little bit special. Ideally located next to Victoria Station and within walking distances of other amenities. If you want somewhere to stay with everything you need to explore London then this is it.
C. B.
Beautiful hotel, lovely staff. We were looking in the door at Victoria Station when a member of Clermont staff walked past (Gerald!) And asked us if we needed any assistance, I said no, were checking in but not until 3, he told us to come by to see if he could get us checked in early and even if he couldn't we could leave our bags somewhere. We did so and he got us checked in early, was extremly efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. A real credit to the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thankyou!
A. O.
We have only used the restaurant which we had a great service and an amazing delicious food. The fresh cod it was thinly battered and crispy, while the fish cake with a poached egg it was perfectly cooked. Overall we had a great experience and we are definitely returning back for more.
A. V.
Excellent location close to underground and rail stations. Minutes walk from Buckingham Palace and surrounding parks. Very helpful staff. Nice English breakfast. Very clean . Beautiful historic building
S. W.
This place is amazing, we were there for 2 nights for a belated birthday. The room was excellent, clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful and the hotels location is perfect for exploring London or for the theatre.

Smashing Hotel right at Victoria Train and Bus Stations.
Well appointed rooms, in a Grand old Hotel. Nespresso machine and drinks in the fridge.
Also, great breakfast for an extra 10£ per room per night

I stayed here prior to the start of the pandemic, and return when visiting London as this hotel is consistently good.
Overall the hotel is delightful. The interior is stunning with a grand staircase and the largest chandelier I have ever seen. The hotel is well maintained, and very clean and tidy. It has a wonderful smell when you enter the lobby and the staff are so attentive and courteous. They are all polite and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
The staff have always been very helpful when we have arrived early and wished to leave our luggage prior to check in.
The rooms are very nice and clean, with good tea and coffee making facilities. The temperature in the rooms is just right and can be easily controlled. The beds are extremely comfy and the bedding is sumptuous.
The complimentary toiletries are very pleasant. The rooms are nice and quiet. The bar area is also very nice and relaxing with a good selection of drinks available. I especially liked the seating available around the bar and watching staff make cocktails.
I thoroughly enjoy the breakfast and the wide range of food available. In particular I like the fresh fruit and continental selection. However, the produce used for the cooked breakfast is excellent and very tasty indeed. The seating arrangement is good. It is well spaced out. The staff at breakfast service are very efficient and nice.
Overall I would certainly recommend this hotel and I am looking forward to returning in the near future.

Stayed here the weekend of the opening and couldn't be happier with the rooms and the staff. Everyone is very friendly and professional and going out of their way to make up feel right at home! We had breakfast at the Soak as well as a few drinks and we're so happy with our experience. We Will definitely be back very soon!
s. l.
Hotel is beautiful staff have been amazing so far only thing that let's it down for me that there wasn't any flannels in the bathroom or any biscuits with the coffees etc. Breakfast was buffet style and that was good.
J. C.
Refurbished Grosvenor with excellently equipped meeting rooms. Handy for Victoria Station (though direct access to concourse currently closed).

We have just arrived home from spending a fantastic long weekend staying in London, at The Clermont in Victoria. We had a beautiful stay at the hotel, which is situated next to Victoria station, affording the perfect point to quickly access every part of London you could wish to visit, either via tube, bus, cab or on foot.
The staff are warm, welcoming, attentive and helpful, a true asset to have in any hotel. The building has been stunningly maintained with a gorgeous entrance hall and stairway. Everywhere you walk in this hotel is spotless and well detailed. Our room was likewise spotlessly clean with great facilities that included coffee machine, complimentary snacks, Dab radio, TV and the all the other things you like to expect, but don't always get. On a personal note I'll also mention the great overhead shower, I wish mine at home was this good and the football pitch sized Hypnos bed, a dream to sleep in.
We enjoyed some lovely cocktails and drinks in 'The Soak' bar, where the bar staff were equally friendly and attentive.
All in all we would thoroughly recommend staying at The Clermont if you want a central London location to base yourself. And finally, a big thank you to the staff for helping to make our stay a memorable one.
A. S.
The staff were really warm and helpful, the hotel itself is gorgeous, our room came with yummy little num nums like popcorn and some drinks, and tea and coffee. We also had the vegetarian breakfast which was really filling. Good thing too as we had 2 very energetic days planned. We came for our anniversary weekend and so glad we chose The Clermont, made our weekend feel that much special!
L. K.

Best hotel in London and can’t beat location. Restaurant and bar 10/10, superb facilities, room very clean and cosy. 100% will be back anytime I’m in London. Thank you to all staff that made the stay so pleasurable

The. Best. Hotel. In. London.
If you want to stay at a hotel in london where you feel so welcomed by the best, the most friendly staff delivering faultless service along side unbelievably high standard rooms then look no further.
The hotel is something from a movie with stunning, lavish decor and the location is perfect!
A special mention goes to Marisa and Barbara who are absolute stars that made mine and my girlfriend’s stay so lovely and extra special.
I couldn’t fault anything and I won’t be staying anywhere else!
D. H.
Brilliant hotel in a great location.
Staff were very helpful.
Only small criticism was the breakfast other than that a very good place to stay.

This hotel is amazing, the staff are so very friendly, helpful , our room was just lovely, very large, huge bed and as we were there to celebrate my 70th Birthday a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room, great location for us. Will go there again when I'm in London, a huge thank you to all the staff including the restaurant and bar, reception and doormen, just great, made my weekend
R. W.
Great hotel, friendly and attentive staff with an amazing breakfast!
Also Marisa, one of the managers deserves additional praise. I was really ill during my stay (no fault of the hotel and also not covid!) but Marisa went out of her way time after time to make me more comfortable and allow me to enjoy my stay. She was great!
M. H.
Can not praise this hotel enough, the staff are exceptional! Our room was amazing, breakfast lovely, and the little gift for my mothers Birthday was just the sweetest kindest thing!

Had a wonderful lunch, very tasty with well flavoured dishes. Top class service, Artemesia was very attentive and professional, all the waiters were top class. Will definitely visit the restaurant again.

Truly lovely hotel, heart of Victoria, easy to get a taxi from the station, the bar was good, the room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Overall the hotel is delightful. The interior is stunning with a grand staircase …

Beautiful hotel and restaurant.
Went for a 3 course meal purchased through groupon.
It was not busy but service was slow. Staff were not attentive, we always had to get their attention. The food choice was limited but that is sometimes expected with set menus. The food was just ok, nothing special.
A. L. G. V.

Lovely quite, spacious and well appointed bedroom. Fantastic location.

Beautiful building and really grand features. The breakfast is improved since I last stayed here. They chap running breakfast is incredibly polite and helpful - a real ambassador for the hotel. The hot water in the bathroom takes a very long time to come through - this hotel must waste an awful lot of water. Television signal is poor - fuzzy picture on most channels. Bed is comfortable, room is clean and well maintained although quite small.
D. O.
Great service and lovely rooms. All staff very polite and helpful. English buffet breakfast was delicious.

I had a most delightful stay at this grand hotel!! I arrived very early but had access to the executive suite and was able have a small meal and drinks...read the newspaper and relax after my long flight..and not long after was given a key to my beautiful HUGE room! The bathroom was warm and the deeeep tub was a most welcome retreat!! I had great views of the neighborhood, too!! Room service was most attentive, quick and required so little effort on my part... I couldn't have been any happier if I tried! Everything was perfect - great location, quiet room, comfortable bed, kind and attentive staff... The easy access to the shopping mall is darn convenient, too -- no umbrellas necessary! Also, BE SURE to have tea in the lovely tea room... It was a truly delightful and delicious treat and worth whatever it cost!! A truly delightful and perfect stay here and would definitely stay here again on future trips to London! I highly recommend the Amba Hotel Grosvenor - service, staff, and accomodations! A++

We stayed at the Grosvenor Hotel in May 2019. Our stay was fantastic. The people were very knowledgeable and friendly. We had three in our room and the room had a queen bed and a pull out couch. There was lots of room for us. The bathroom was adequate. The hotel was clean and tidy.
If you are expecting a brand new hotel you might be disappointed. We were not and appreciated the charm of the hotel. The food in the restaurants was enjoyable.
The location was amazing with Victoria Station right out the door. Subways and trains to everywhere. Including a train from Gatwick Airport straight to Victoria Station so you can fly into the cheaper airport.
The item we most appreciated was the access we had to the lounge on the second floor. The people there were amazing and the nibbles there were much appreciated.
I am sold on the Grosvenor Hotel and plan to stay there the next time I come to London.
K. d. l. V.
The location of the Grosvenor couldn't be any better. It's literally just a few minute walk from Victoria Station. The hotel itself has wonderful old world charm. We were made to feel very welcome during our stay. The rooms were small, and bathrooms smaller, which did take some getting used to, but, it wasn't a big problem. Breakfast there was delicious, with a wonderful array of traditional English food.
Would definitely stay there if we are lucky enough to get to visit London again.
G. F.
Location, standard of accommodation, staff, ...everything. Highly recommend
M. R.
This is a nice hotel if you want a typical British experience. Excellent location right next to Victoria Station with easy access to the tube and train services. We had mixed results at the hotel restaurant. First dinner there was very good. Food was good atmosphere relaxed. The next night they lost gas service to the kitchen and could not prepare our order. We ordered salads instead. They comped our meal and drinks so no harm there. Overall I would stay there again.
A. K.
Beautiful hotel and very accommodating staff. The bed was very comfortable and the features were pleasing. Enjoyed the happy hour they provided with complimentary beer, wine, and coffee. The location was very convenient to walk to many museums and points of interest, and it's right on top of a tube station. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.
b. h.
Beautiful hotel, lovely large rooms and the staff are extremely helpful and pleasant to talk to,can I also say that corima and Somia at the reception were lovely and helpful and made you feel at home .
F. H.
Amazing location, connected to the Victoria tube station. The hotel is great in general, however they’re currently undergoing a facelift and therefore you can expect a lot of noises early in the morning. Does feel like the facelift however was necessary as the hotel interior was quite dated and even the televisions are very old. The front desks staff feels like they’re lack of training with regards to communication, as they aren’t very warm. I do however enjoy the breakfast/room services.
A. J.
I would give 5 Stars if it weren't for the front desk service. The lady at the front didn't seem to know the answer to our questions, but thankfully the bell hop was awesome!! Room is beautiful and clean and comfortable. We have a great view. Nice atmosphere in the lobby and reception area, and of course, it's in the heart of the city!
S. R.
The rooms are what let this hotel down. They're so small you; you can't even open the shower door without hitting the toilet! The beds are comfy but again it's very tightly compacted in.
The service is good and everyone is friendly. My TV didnt work on the first night but it was resolved quickly for the second.
Breakfast is a buffet which is my preference for a breakfast and the food for breakfast is ok.
Overall I wouldn't stay again, even though this location is very close to my London office, as the room made me feel very closed in.
G. C.
We visited over the weekend & this was our 2nd visit to this hotel. We love it here, and will definitely come back hopefully next year. We loved our room which was much bigger than the one we had on our previous stay. The location is fantastic, and as it is joined on to Victoria Station you can easily jump on a tube to wherever you need to go.
Thank you for another lovely stay :)
D. O.
Quaint hotel and service is great. I arrived early and luckily there was a room for me. Kristina who checked me in was very helpful and pleasant. They have a small but well-equipped gym. Breakfast is well catered for. The rooms are decent except for the pillows that were definitely not comfy and can cause a stiff neck. The location is great, next time Victoria Station and tourist sites.
S. B.
Overall a good stay. Room could've been better but nothing serious. Breakfast was a good range but I found the hot food often wasn't that hot and that the toaster either didn't work or didn't toast the bread sufficiently, depended on the day. Staff are always friendly and happy to help with problems. Room keys demagnetize very very easily. Everything else was really good and I would happily stay again
R. M.
The room was nice and the staff super friendly. Had to wait past check in time for my room which is a drag when you just traveled 10 hours. Had a deluxe room and it was very nice and beds super comfortable and for me that is a huge statement. Bar staff at times seemed sluggish. Proximity is about as good as it gets with Tube access within the hotel.
L. H.
My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Grosvenor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was attentive and pleasant. I read some reviews that mentioned room size etc. You should note that this hotel was built in the 1800's and is NOT the ultra modern concrete block with every amenity. In our opinion, the creaky floors, high ceilings, rattling lifts all led to the charm of the place. The room was immaculate. Just a note, the restaurant does become busy at Breakfast, so it is a good idea to go early to avoid the line. Overall Excellent.
J. D.
The hotel is gorgeous, well located, and the staff was very helpful. We had a bit of trouble getting the thermostat to do what we wanted (our room was too hot, whole family members down the hall were too cold), but checking in was smooth. The only real complaints we're that the hotel is oddly designed, and one of the lifts was down, so movement from place to place was a little awkward, and actually caused us to be late getting out for an event. The bar staff was exceptionally slow, seemingly disinterested. If I ever stay there again, I'll walk down the street for a drink. Three or four stars, depending on what you choose to focus on.
C.
Location.
Very strong synthetic floral scent sprayed each time the revolving doors moved and guests came through the door. This is too strong - those with asthma, or …
W. C.
The hotel is in top location situated right next to the Victoria station and very close to both the coach station and the tube. Bus stop is right outside the hotel. Lots of tourist attractions within walking distance and good restaurants around the area. The hotel building itself is a grade II listed building. Beautiful and nicely maintained.
The interior of the room is ok. We stayed there twice during our holiday. First time was a room overlooking the park alongside the Buckingham Palace Road. Slightly noisy at night time when you can hear the supercar driving along outside.
The second time was given a smaller room without view. No concern. It was much quieter but the problem was with the bathroom which is the smallest one I've ever seen in a hotel with a bath tub. Everything is only one step away. You can easily find yourself sitting in the toilet, extend your arm and reach the basin. So be warned if you are claustrophobic. We had to ask the front desk to change the room and they nicely accepted our request and move the luggage to the other room for us in the next day while we were out. The front desk staff are very helpful.
A. G.
Excellent hotel, absolutely stunning! We were a party of 10 with twin rooms which were all quite small but did the job. Room 443 didn't have a mini fridge which was disappointing! However, the staff were very lax and weren't very quick so there were a big queue for check in and breakfast. But a great stay for our London hen do!
E. F.
I can not say enough good things about this hotel!!! I have been to London 3 times in the last 5 years and I would not stay anywhere else. The staff is what make it AMAZING. They can not be nicer or do enough for you. My daughter and I were leaving one morning for a tour and two staff members met us at the door with umbrellas for us to borrow, they anticipate your every need. They always wanted to know if we had a fun day out and asked if we need anything. Tea there is an experience! So elegant and cozy. The breakfast is amazing, almost as amazing as the staff. Our dear friend Mohammed doted on us every day. He made sure my daughter had her hot chocolate ready at her table, with a heart shape in the foam. They delight in their work and it shows. I hated to leave, it feels like family. Mario was always a delight, I don't think I ever had a chance to poor my own tea, he was always there with a smile. Demetrius brought my daughter a teddy bear the first night were there and helped us with directions anywhere we wanted to go. Arthur was always smiling and asking if he could do anything for us. They are just all so fantastic. The hotel itself is beautiful and elegant. It is located in the perfect part of London for vacationing. Safe and quiet, so many places to walk to and a lot of the day trip tours leave from companies 5 minutes walking distance. We love, love, love The Amba Grosvenor and hope to come back again soon!
L. M.
Decent hotel due to convenient location - but not very good value for money. The rooms were large but very cold (no matter how you changed the setting - this was not only in my room but my parents’ as well). Duvets were quite thin which would not have been a problem if it weren’t for the heating setting. The cleaning was good and the bathroom was nice and spacious. The hotel breakfast is a waste of money - only things you can by in a small corner shop down the road. So look elsewhere for breakfast. Next time I’ll go for the travel lodge across the road.

This hotel has it all.
Incredible, beautiful and elegant.

This hotel is beautifully elegant. I was upgraded to a lovely suite. Furnishings are stunning, bathroom and amenities superb, in room amazing coffee and tea selection, gorgeous lobby, great restaurants and bar. Beautiful hotel with impeccable and speedy service at all hours. It is an elegant jewel in the Marriott hotels stable of upmarket hotels.
K. N.
Spectacular entrance! Staff could have been more welcoming and personal.
L. N.
Food was delicious and service was excellent - thank you to Mohammad for making our trip to London an amazing experience
H. B.
Absolutely beautiful hotel and the staff were superb room was spacious and well appointed and the bed was huge and comfortable. Tea and coffee plus mini fridge iron and ironing board are supplied in the room and the ability to enter the hotel direct from Victoria Station is genius. Only grumble was the noise from the station refurbishment at 5.30am so would advise ear plugs if you've got them however not really the hotel fault. Will definitely stop again
N. A.
Clean, tidy rooms in a very convenient location. The bathroom was a bit small but functional and it's an old hotel, so we forgave it that. The complimentary bottle of wine was a really nice touch after a long day of being a tourist in London it was nice to relax with that.
R. M.
Amazing wonderful relaxing!
Staff could not be more helpful. Delicious food, spacious and comfortable accommodations. Will ruin any other hotel visit!
Staff is exceptionally trained in “service” and making guests comfortable.
D.
Lovely hotel, conveniently located next to Victoria Station. We had a suite, which was spacious and very comfortable. Staff was attentive and gracious. Generous complimentary breakfasts and happy hours. No real complaints. I would definitely stay there again.
J. R.
We had a wonderful stay at The Grosvenor Hotel. We stayed in an Executive Double and the room was excellent and the Executive lounge was a real treat - it really made our stay special. The room was extremely comfortable, well equipped and everything was of a really high standard. Housekeeping was excellent and we really appreciated the little treats we found when we got back in the evening. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this hotel to anyone looking for a quality place to stay in central London.
A. J.
Nice and cozy hotel located in central London. Everything was really good from breakfast to helpfulness from the staff. When we was disturbed from a construction work outside during the night they swiftly moved us to another room the next day which also was an upgrade from the previous one. The only real con was that out of 5 long calls for room service during the late hours only one was responded from our phone in the room. Everything was splendid with the room service itself but they seemed to have a hard time answering.
Would recommend it to anyone who's not depending all to much on the room service!

The hotel is located in a fantastic area close to Buckingham Palace the staff are very friendly and helpful, my youngest daughter asked for pancakes for breakfast and I think that the image says it all? Treated like a princess, many thanks to the chef who went out of their way to prepare this it made her and my day😁

The architecture and building is beautiful. Huge 2 story entryway with a lovely chandelier really have a dramatic feel when entering the hotel. The rest of the hotel is nice but the attention to detail and the lack of amenities keep it from being a 4 star experience.
What was good:
- Facilities are clean
- Cheerful staff
- Great location
What could be improved:
- Plumbing worked but required jiggling handles and some finesse to operate
- The welcome book had a massive curling iron burn on the cover and should have been replaced
- The biscuits and morning coffee supplies weren't replaced during my stay
- The TV was broken

It's a pretty cool space, nice architecture in what I believe was a bank or similar in previous life. Staff were all lovely, offers of help with luggage, etc. We stayed in executive room (3 girls on night out) which offered a large sofa bed (already made up) and a zip link king size bed. It was very comfortable and I normally struggle sleeping in hotel beds but this one was brilliant. Complimentary robes, slippers, soft drinks and snacks in mini bar and access to the executive lounge. We popped into the lounge after check-in for a cuppa and ended up having a mini scone too. Then visited again after sightseeing/before getting ready for night out and had some snacks/hors d'oeuvres and wine (all complimentary) and a chat with the extremely pleasant and helpful young lady who was looking after us. Breakfast was lovely and unrushed with veggie options on request, checkout a doddle. Good location, very short walk across the road to Victoria Bus Station; walking distance to Buckingham palace, Westminster, Soho, Sloan sq, Harrods, etc. Would definitely stay again.
J. P.
The location is great, being right next to Victoria station means you are able to get anywhere quickly with the London underground. It is roughly a 15-20 minute walk to Westminster abbey and the hoses of parliament. The room was clean and well presented, just as the the entire building is. The downstairs dinning area and long is amazing and I loved the breakfast buffet. All members of staff that I spoke to were very nice and made sure I was happy with my stay, I even got several "hello"s and "good morning"s from staff passing by, it is a lovely atmosphere and I really do recommend it.
S. H.
Chose this Hotel for location (had a loved one running in the marathon) it's right next to Victoria Station and there's lots to do within walking distance. First impression? Stunning! Beautiful lobby and staircases and lots of photo opportunities. Staff are lovely and resolved a minor issue very quickly. Restaurant food was lovely and breakfast was very good although fruit juices weren't chilled enough for my liking. Free WiFi worked well. Our twin room was OK and having a bath with a shower was nice. I liked the Hotels reason for not having bath robes in the rooms, it is very honest and made me smile.
Now the negatives. The double glazing in the room provided excellent sound proofing but made it feel very suffocating and we just could not get to grips with the air conditioning in the 2 nights we stayed. We would have cracked it in the end though, I'm sure. We could only find one spare plug socket to use, having some beside the beds would be good. And, while this shouldn't be important when staying in such a fabulous city, the TV was shocking, too small and terrible signal. These issues wouldn't stop us staying here again though.
S. W. D.
Great location & nice breakfast buffet BUT while the exterior and lobby looked very nice, the rooms definitely need to be renovated. Not very impressed at all. There were no electric outlets in the bathroom so drying one's hair in the morning was a bit challenging. I had to plug the hair dryer into an outlet in the hallway.

The Grosvenor Hotel on Buckingham Palace Road was a great location to walk everywhere and if required, the hop-on (stop #1), was just across the road. Four nights and the staff sure treated as well. When we booked, we didn't know we had full access to the executive lounge and this was a wonderful key element to our comfortable stay, for the 3 of us. This hotel is definitely at the top of my google list of "Best Places Ever Stayed >3 Nights". Thanks and we will absolutely return for another stay .....

Fantastic hotel. Great service amazing room. Wholeheartedly would recommend.
R. C.
The staff were very accommodating and took care of us from start to finish. The room was brilliant and had all the amenities that you would expect and more. My only gripe was the outside noise. The traffic was loud and the secondary glazing was not up to par. I guess that's probably down to the listed building. But overall, the hotel was a very pleasant stay and the staff amazing.

I was in London to attend a conference and decided to stay at the Grosvenor hotel. This was my first stay at this hotel and I was very surprised by my room. It was so much bigger and nicer than the rooms I stayed in in London so far, some of which were so small I couldn’t even oven my suitcase and had to squeeze into the bathroom. The room I stayed in at the Grosvenor was like I was was used to from the US, with plenty of room to spare. I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is fantastic, right next to Victoria station and the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. It was so nice to come back after full day conference, step into the beautiful lobby accompanied by the scent of the fresh flowers, knowing I can now unwind with a nice hot shower and sleep in the comfortable bed.
M. M.
Nice hotel nice staff food not as good as it could be but assured it will be better for my next visit. The their credit the food was taken off my bill.
J. G.
The hotel is well located, built on top of Victoria station, and even has a door within the station making it easy to find.
It's grand and testament to the old days of the railway.
I stayed in a standard double room. It was compact but clean and well maintained. Shower had lots of pressure and was warm.
My only complaint was around noise. Within the hotel noise is well controlled and quiet, you don't hear much, but the issue is noise from the station. I was woken up by the annoy system calling departures. And it's possible to hear them until quite late at night. Just an annoying sound.
Breakfast is buffet style, all you can eat, and I enjoy it. Plenty of choice, nice and pleasant environment.
W. H.
Location is pretty good, very close to Buckingham palace. The rooms are what you would expect in a European hotel. I do think they are nicer than most I've stayed in. Our room was small but that's expected. Our AC worked great and the breakfast was probably the best I'd ever had in a European hotel.
D. V.
Hotel is conveniently located at the Victoria station. The room felt clean and neat, was relatively spacious, had all the expected amenities and a comfortable bed. With a higher floor it had a nice view over the city. The staff were very friendly. Recommend, especially, if you are in transit.
K. N.
Lovely hotel in an amazing location for getting about London.
Room was comfortable and a decent size.
Staff were absolutely amazing and really went out of the way to make the stay as enjoyable as possible, the birthday gift was a lovely little touch that meant a lot.
A. N.
Nice hotel in a great location. The room was very clean and the staff did a great job keeping it fresh and clean throughout our stay.
Bed was comfy and there was a good amount of space in the room.
I give it 4 stars and not 5 because of a couple minor things. The first is breakfast. The food was good, don't get me wrong and if you wanted poached eggs or an omelet just ask the staff when you arrive. However, if you want a refill of your coffee, or to have coffee you need to hunt down the staff to get it and then hope they remember.
The other thing about the hotel is that it is more than one building, which in itself is no big deal. But, if you are on the 7th floor of the other building you must take one elevator to the 4th floor, walk a bit of a way to get to another elevator to take you the rest. While I don't mind walking, when you've spent the day walking and navigating the tube having to then make this trek was a bit much and, the second elevator wasn't working all the time and they didn't let you know at the desk. So, after walking to get to the next elevator you then had to back track to get to the stairs to walk up the rest of the way.
Saying all that I would still stay here again because they take very good care of the rooms and are friendly staff members. Just need to fine tune a couple of minor things.
T. R.
This review is just for their function room and services within it.
The room itself is absolutely massive and the Grosvenor staff work hard to make sure that it looks impeccable and meets all requirements. The staff on the night are polite and always more than eager to help.
The food at this hotel is really nice. It is rare that I take interest in a vegans 'alternate option' to a menu but they take pride in everything they serve and it is all delicious.
C. M.
Fantastic establishment. Cleanliness and perfection throughout. Staff were pristine and very helpful . Bar is fab . Beds are super cosy and welcoming. Breakfast was fabulous . Again staff were happy, friendly, and inviting. Perfect location for London. Right next to Victoria station, Victoria theater and a hop on hop off london tour bus.. Reasonably priced too. Will definitely return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our few days in a deluxe room at The Grosvenor Hotel. Our room was fine noise wise, but it may be the case that all the executive rooms are well located in the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful when …
D. M.
Great hotel, great location. Our basic room needed a few bits doing like grout/mastic repairs in bathroom, but overall very happy with the room, comfy bed with a nice mattress topper! Breakfast logistics could certainly be improved, all were crushed into a little pantry which when busy didn't really work.
J. M.
Amazing dining experience, the staff are lovely and made our birthday dinner so much mor especial.
Y. K.
Excellent location with super connectivity. Very aristocratic and stylish atmosphere both in common and room spaces. Good service, very friendly and supportive. Very noisy, I changed to the highest floor but still you hear the street. No good shower pressure. All those issues with refurnished old building. The air conditioning can’t be regulated has only coldest level. Pricey.
A. F.
Lovely looking hotel, breakfast was great. Got a free room upgrade upon arrival and an extended late check-out. No complaints, I really like this hotel and would definitely look to stay here again. Location was ideal for our trip to The Apollo Victoria Theatre
J. H.
Extremely comfortable and historic place to stay!! Staff was great and very responsive and accommodating. Breakfast was great!! Loved staying here as it is very closely located to several tourist attractions in downtown London and in close proximity to some out of this world historic pubs. Will stay here again!!
A. R.
Over priced for what you get. We had been camping for 2 months and was looking forward to a beautiful hotel! It was just a standard room. Nothing fancy at all. Room service was average. The staff where very friendly though. Would recommend staying somewhere out of the very city.
K. a. A.
We had a very nice time at the Grosvenor during our trip to London. It was situated in a very convenient part of the city, making nearly all of our trips walkable adventures! The staff were superb and accommodated all our requests, including desperate late-night pizza (despite their kitchen being closed already) and a bucket of ice brought to our room. They learned we were honeymooning and also surprised us with chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne! The only critique we had was that the room was very very small. Of course, this was understandable given the location but it did lend a cramped feeling to the accommodations.
D. W.
Location is unbeatable. Early check-in and late check-out were available without any extra cost, which was a nice touch. And the staff were kind and friendly. The reason for only 3 stars is the room.
I booked a Double Deluxe Room and was given room 143. It was tiny. Not small, but tiny. There was no chair to sit in to read or relax, only a desk chair that had no handle to stop it tilting back so was unsuitable for working. But that was irrelevant as there was no desk to work at anyway. There was a little workbench under the TV, barely wide enough to hold my laptop. The TV above looked the part, but switching it on you soon find you had more channels and better signal back in the 1990s (see photo).
They offered a good room service menu that was reasonably priced. But with no chair or table, eating in the room is not an option, unless you don't mind eating in bed.
The most annoying part of the room was the bathroom. It was the size of a cupboard. You had to be an acrobat to close the door in order to get to the toilet. The shower could have been excellent - there were easy controls and good water pressure. But the shower curtain rail had been installed the wrong way. Instead of curving outwards to give more space while showering, it curved inwards, which meant you were constantly battling with the curtain in what was already a very tiny space. There was also an issue with the plumbing. Although the water ran fine, every time you turned on the sink tap, the shower or flushed the toilet, something would make an incredibly loud grating noise. Like someone was drilling in to the wall. Very annoying.
This hotel has the potential to be brilliant. It was clean and well decorated. But they should not advertise tiny cupboards as deluxe double rooms.
P. V.
The Hotel is just five walking minutes away from the Buckingham palace. It's directly at the Victoria station, but you don't hear the busses or any traffic at all. Only the room doors are pretty loud. The employees are very friendly. The bed are good and television also provides US and other EU tv channels.

We booked this hotel.with a theatre break ..on arriving the receptionist (a man )asked if my mum 83 years old had difficulty with walking as she had a stick ? i answered yes he said no worries i will arrange an upgrade to deluxe room.near lift point for you ladies !
There was also an italian lady front of house who was very friendly to my mum and assisted me with getting her breakfast as it was buffet ..mum. was shown so much respect and the staff was amazing making it a pleasure .
Lovely clean hotel not the most luxurious i have stayed in but very welcoming.. its staff deserve a pat on the back !
D. L.
A 7 night stay; great location, great facilities (breakfast, gym), well appointed room. A beautiful older property! To their credit, after 1 night we reported a plumbing issue they fixed. Post 2nd night, the issue resurfaced. A quick mention to the front desk and they toggled our room (we quick-packed, left, they moved everything; welcome to you new King Bed room!).
R. A.
My partner and I stayed here after our flight was cancelled, and we booked the Grosvenor an hour before showing up. They were very accommodating, and reasonably priced even for last minute. The outside of the hotel is stunning, as is the reception hall. The location is also fantastic - you can easily walk from victoria train station. We requested a deluxe double room preferably on an upper floor, and sure enough the room was on the top floor (7th from memory). Its a very old building and we had to take two lifts to get to our room. Our room didnt have a great view - the window was far left and then, and then the ceiling was a bit sloped where the window would normally be. Still, it was quiet, and the bed was very comfy. The furniture was classic - not a modern styled room. There was some signs of wear and tear - such as on the desk chair's leather - but nothing too significant. The TV was tiny and I think I would have been disappointed with that size if we were staying longer. The bathroom was clean and fresh. The shower is over a bath, but it was an excellent shower (rain shower head which was a bit weak, as well as powerful movable head). When I come to London again, I would definitely consider staying here again, though perhaps another room with a better view. Hopefully this review was helpful!
T. M.
Lovely hotel, very grand. Staff were efficient at taking you to your table and taking your tea and coffee order etc. A very short walk to Buckingham Palace to see the changing of the guards. We stayed in a very spacious standard twin room. The entrance hall is absolutely beautiful.
S. D.
The Grosvenor is situated right next to London Victoria train station. That's good news if you are a traveller, and bad news if you happen to get a room next to the station - be prepared to listen to platform announcements well into the night.
The rooms are OK, a little rundown perhaps (mine had a socket that didn't fit the wall, a lamp that wouldn't stand up straight, and a tap that leaked), but comfortable enough for a night.
The hotel is one of those that has hundreds of rooms and is so cavernous that it can take ten minutes to reach your room from reception. That's fine if you like the exercise and have the time. But if, like me, you wait 5 mins for one of the hotel's two lifts, and finally reach your room to find that neither of your keys works ("Did you put them next to your phone, sir?" "Why, yes. Ought I to have carried them in a led-lined bag?"), then it's not ideal.
The staff were very friendly and greeted me warmly. The restaurant served a mean ribeye steak.
I'd go back.
H. C.
Supreme location but the hotel itself is odd. The set up with the rooms in the wings is not explained and the staff aren't the most helpful in telling you how to find your room. The rooms are very small. The foyer of the hotel is magnificent but it doesn't align with the rooms at all. Would probably not stay here again.
B. G.
I haven't spent the night in this hotel only attended a business training for 3 days so I can't talk for the quality of the rooms. But what I observed is: The location is incomparable, it is literally next to Victoria station. The restaurant, the cafe, the food, the ambiance, the architecture everything is great about this hotel. Highly recommended!
F. E.
The hotel in general is exceptional. Only a couple of minor problems were experienced. On the one and only night we decided to use room service the person responsible was busy and decided not to answer the telephone. Our only other problem was when we went to have our "high tea" our booking was not on their list for that afternoon. It was only after we produced a confirmation email that we were allowed access. This tended to sour the experience.
A. G.
Very conveniently located, nice hotel. Beds are comfortable, rooms spacious and relatively modern. Nice little gym with good equipment. The big benefit of this hotel is proximity to Victoria Station and ease of getting around this area of London + Oxford Circus, etc...
M. M.
Hotel is marvelous! Beautiful building with classy interior design. It was very close to the main streets in London so we walked almost everywhere. It gives you a lot of precious time if U are for short city trip. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room and bathroom was very clean. Executive HK -Ewa helped me find my lost phone. Breakfasts was in english style. I liked it a lot. I look forward to stay at Grosvenor H. for another trip to London.
C. P.
Perfect for Victoria Station departure or stays near Buckingham Palace. Quiet rooms, absolutely no exterior noise within the room! Linens seemed so crisp they bordered on rough. Bed and furnishings not plush but functional.
a. m.
This hotel is centrally located for exploring London. It is adjacent to Victoria train station and the bus station. The hotel itself still has the Victorian grandeur on display in the impressive entrance hall.
The room was comfortably furnished with air conditioning. The sound on the tv wasn't great and only had 5 channels although Sky news was on the tvs in the public areas.
On 2 days the maid forgot to put 2 clean towels in the bathroom and failed to replenish the bottled water and tea tray.
In spite of that I would use this hotel again.
B. M.
Staff was very friendly. Rooms are clean an comfortable. Excellent location, especially if flying into Gatwick. The Gatwick Express drops you off right at the hotel. The only negatives I can think of is that there are no drawers in the rooms to put your clothes. Also, depending on where your room is, you may have to take two separate lifts to get to it.
M. G.
Grand Lobby beautifully presented. Staff polite and welcoming. Room excellent (although could have had some guidance for the heating!). Breakfast...good variety, all good quality. Would definitely stay there again.
J. H.
I spent the day at the Grosvenor as a customer of their conference venue. The hotel itself is conveniently located by Victoria Station, elegantly designed, and staffed by an exceeding helpful and enthusiastic reception and conferencing team. The food was also excellent, and their team responsed quickly to any dietary needs that were raised on the day.
C. y. B. R.
Great hotel in central location. Big room for London standards, nice bathroom, very comfortable bed. Direct access from Victoria station hall. Historic building with glittering public areas. We were given a wing room so there were steps to get to our room. Tons of public transport at hotel's door.
H. G.
My colleagues and I attended a 2-day team building exercise at the Grosvenor in Victoria and it was a great place for it! The staff were so helpful, the rooms were great and the beds were very comfortable. We also tried a few cocktails at the bar and they were delicious - we certainly plan to go back for other business meetings in the future !

Lovely atmosphere Lovely food and the waiting Staff were excellent would recommend it.

Blissful Stay in the lap of luxury!
I beg of you, STAY in the Executive King Room and thank me later.
This suite was enormous, luxurious and was the perfect way to experience London.
The entire hotel has a history worth learning about and is glamorous all around.
Built right over Victoria Station, it’s the very definition of LOCATION.
The staff was amazing and didn’t skip a beat. They all made our stay so memorable and wonderful, I honestly can’t wait to return.
No detail in this hotel is overlooked, it’s simply a breathtaking property.
The ROOM - Executive King Suite
Before visiting I was reading reviews about how small the rooms are. While that may be true for the base room, the executive room is gorgeous and spacious. The rate is not inconceivably different, so I would suggest an upgrade.
Our corner room looked out one way onto a busy street, and the other way over a small park. The view was beautiful and made us feel like we were in the heart of the city.
The bathroom was so lavish I couldn’t believe my eyes! It even had a clawfoot bathtub and a fogged window that let in beautiful natural light.
(Also, props on the amazing quality of the toilet paper! Sounds strange to mention, but it shows you they don’t spare any expense on guest experience!)
The bedroom was huge and featured a separate sitting area with table, coffee/tea, desk, and large wardrobe.
Tall ceilings and long windows with lovely curtains made the room feel very royal.
The FOOD
We were busy touring around London, so we didn’t eat too many times at the hotel, but each time was great!
The late night room service came quickly and was good quality, breakfast was very impressive, and even the executive lounge always had something nice to nibble on.
The LOCATION
Directly though a door in the lobby and down a few steps, you will find yourself in the middle of Victoria Station. The Grosvenor is literally the perfect location to get around London from. Many amazing attractions can also be seen on foot, just a short walk from the hotel, like: Buckingham Palace, Victoria Palace Theatre, St. James Park, Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, and Sloane Square.
Ask the staff to explain the history of the hotel to you, it’s all very interesting!
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel, the style, the rooms, the staff and the location. I couldn’t have imagined staying anywhere that would have been better then the Grosvenor!
(One of my life goals is to return and stay in the Cora Pearl Suite…omg!)
I am sure this will be the only London hotel I will book from here on out!
A. L.
We've hosted a number of work events at the Grosvenor and we have never been disappointed. The staff are lovely and so helpful. The food is tasty and plentiful. The setting is both impressive and handy for transport. We really couldn't ask for anything more.

Lovely hotel that seems straight out of an Agatha Christie story in some ways. Close to Victoria Station, theatres, restaurants, with Buckingham Palace a short walk away. Comfortable if cosy room but perfect for the two of us. Good service at the bars but we never ate there so can't comment on the food. Good base for a long weekend in London.
T. M.
We were traveling with a large group (100+) and everyone had very nice things to say about their room and the service. Luckily the staff were very obliging. Staff were attentive and there was a feeling of grandeur in the public areas. I would stay again but I would be wary about the rooms.
J. M.
This hotel is the perfect place to stay while visiting London. The staff and tea room were fabulous. The rooms are spacious and updated. The location in Victoria Station makes travel convenient and easy!
A. W.
I've given this 5* because of the lovely afternoon tea room with comfortable chairs. We weren't squashed in like so many tea rooms. It's getting harder to find this level of comfort in London afternoon teas, so it was very nice. The food was great too.
H. D. C.
Everything is scampi at this hotel. They first double charged us, then when we got in the room there were one shower towel, no face towel, just two pillows rather than the usual four. Nothing is modern there. The rooms are small with narrow showers. They other hotels we stay in London and Paris had a handy cell phone that we could used because our cells didn't work there. This hotel didn't have any of that.
M. H.
Stayed for one night. Room was nice, if a bit small, but aircon was poor and being London, couldn't sleep with the window open. We were out in the wings so took a long time to find the room itself! Staff were helpful but curt, and reception couldn't find our booking for quite a while. Room service was prompt, food was good quality. Breakfast was very busy, hot food was scarce due to the busyness. We (a couple) got seated on what is arguably a four person table next to another couple, who seemed a bit put out when they returned from the buffet to our somewhat underdressed selves next to them. Location is great for Victoria, and lots of London highlights.
H. C.
Went for champagne afternoon tea. Very pleasant helpful staff. Service was a bit slower than expected and i had to remind the girl serving our booking was to include champagne. Fire alarm then went off while i was downstairs at toilet but no one seamed to panic or evacuate. Other than that nice surroundings.
T. M.
We got the room for a really cheap deal so we wern't expecting it to be very good but we were pleasently suprised. Our shoebox of a room was nicely decorated. I would recommend the hotel if you want a touch of old fashioned charm but not if you want to be able to walk to the shopping areas.
A. L.
I loved our stay at the hotel, stunning on the inside! Rooms very comfy, had the best night sleep, got to check in earlier than expected which was very handy and got upgraded because we are nice people :D staff all very friendly and would recommend this hotel to anyone! Definitely going to go back and stay again.
B. D.
The room is clean and comfortable, the staff is courteous and friendly. The Internet is pretty fast, but I think that not making it password protected was a bad idea. Random people in the street and nearby area are connecting to it and slowing it down. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the location is pretty convenient. Overall a wonderful choice of hotel.
J. T.
Deluxe double room was smaller than expected for something called 'deluxe', but bed was comfy and sheets are soft and nice. No noise problems on the 3rd floor. In hotel restaurant selections could be better, but the location is great! Overall solid but nothing amazing.
G. Z.
A 3.5 star hotel at best. We switched rooms 3 times (first one was directly over the bus depot and the TV in the second room was completely scrambled on all channels and was unwatchable) and ended up in the main building first floor after deciding to cancel our stay and leave for the plaza hotel around the corner. The manager gave us an upgrade in an effort to make us stay so we did. The coffee cups left in the room for us to use were previously used and not completely washed. The tea kettle had water in it from the prior guests and appeared to have stains. There was no one at the hotel entrance to help us bring our bags up the stairs. Seems like it was a 4 star hotel a few years back but has since dropped the ball a bit. It is however a beautiful historic property right next to the Victoria station which is convenient for flying out of Heathrow.
A. G. U.
Wonderful hotel, fantastic location, and very helpful staff. Room was charming and spacious with modern amenities. The restaurant serves a hearty buffet breakfast. Our family would happily stay here again.
K. V.
We really enjoyed this hotel. It was beautiful, and the staff were all very helpful. A major bonus was being within walking distance of a lot of the major sights. Only thing I wished for was a bit of a better breakfast selection, but the food was all good, and I loved having afternoon tea!
J. C.
The location is amazing. They are connected to Victoria Station so you don't even have to go outside. It is a ten minute walk to Buckingham Palace. The bar is a bit expensive but is really nice. The rooms are also a bit small but for being in central London it is beautiful.
S.
A hotel with beautiful rooms in a wonderful location. Maybe a 2 minute walk to Victoria station (underground and trains) if you walk slow. Bathroom was small in our room, so if you need more space, ask before you book.
L. W.
Absolutely wonderful stay with my daughter. The staff were amazing, the room was beautiful, well furnished and so clean. I would definitely make this top of my list of hotels next time I'm in London.
A. C.
A very well placed hotel as it's literally within Victoria Station. If you have a room on the outside you can't hear the trains either. Rooms are big and well decorated with comfortable beds. Breakfast is expensive so would recommend any of the small food shops within walking distance.
M. H.
We used a Groupon voucher for the afternoon tea and it was so amazing. They were so accommodating. Out of a kind of tea we wanted to try but the earl grey was great. The scones and jam and clotted cream were incredible! They came warm and everything. They also will bring out more food if you request, which makes it different from other afternoon tea places. Would do again!
D. C.
Room was very clean, very traditional looking, and centrally located. Included breakfast buffet was excellent and includeed hot items such as cheese, meat, eggs, grilled vegetables. Staff was very polite and helpful. Room is a little behind on the tech side without many accessible outlets near the bed and old style TV and remote.
P. G.
Luxurious and historic hotel! Beautiful interior, though the rooms are somewhat small. Connected to Victoria Station so getting around town isn't difficult. Very close to other destinations like Buckingham Palace. Would recommend!
g. j.
Hotel interiors very pleasent. Went for a Champagne afternoon tea. Well presented and a good selection. Coronation chicken wasnt great, the bottom of the bread was a little crusty due to being prepared early and with the heat. The team were excellent and very helpful in every possible way.
V. L.
I visited here for an informal business meeting and only used the tea room so I can't speak for the rooms or other facilities. We only ordered a few soft drinks between us but what I had (Earl Grey) was good. A little more milk would have been ideal as there was only 1 pot between 2 of us.
The waiter was a little irritating (hence only 4 stars) as he tried to upsell us when we asked for tap water and then hovered rather too officiously after he'd served.
S. P.
Edited to upgrade rating Oct 2019. I would have given 5+ stars but didn't want a room to be unavailable next time I visit London. Kudos to Ms Hajer for her extra check in assistance. 1) Take the train from the AP 2) Location is central to different public transportation options. 3) The breakfast buffet was convenient except for the long walk from our room. Recommend eating breakfast at the hotel to get an early start for the day. Food was good. 4) Good staff but want to give a top level shout out to Ms Hajer. She was so very helpful to two tried tired travelers looking to make special dinner reservations for our wedding anniversary and my birthday. Hajer was key to making it special.
K. K.
Great location, service is fantastic. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Will definitely recommend 👏
S. L.
Very disappointing. Hotel seriously in need of updating and modernising. Shabby old fashioned decor. Having asked for a room with a view at the check in desk, I got the scaffolding and brickworks outside my windows and could not see out at all! Kept waiting for a long time before receptionist selected a room for us, having been booked in to come for a major event. Waited half an hour just to get in for breakfast. Waited half an hour to check out. Not the type of service I'd expect from a supposedly top hotel. This was meant to be a special treat, to attend a ball and stay over. I couldn't wait to go home.

This is a cool hotel right next to Victoria station. It's a decent base for exploring London but if you're looking for wild night life this might not be the neighborhood for you. The hotel is pretty old but well maintained (it was the 1st building in London with an elavator - 1867 I think). The staff is really friendly and the rooms are small but nice. One thing I noticed is that the TV only gets 7 or 8 channels. Not a big deal for me as I wasn't in my room other than to sleep, but I'm sure that would bother some people out there. Overall I had a good stay during my 5 nights here and I would return. One thing to note is that the service and staff at "The Sheaksphere Bar" across the street are absolutely terrible and I would spend my money at other neighborhood pubs. The "Bag O' Nails Pub" on the way to Buckingham Palace is worth a stop. It's a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Cheers and safe travels everyone. 🇬🇧🍺

Very Nice and comfy hotel. We had a supersized double bed but the television had bad quality and the shower was difficult to adjust. Never the less, a good quality hotel right next to Victoria station, so its Very accesable to get around in London quickly. Would recomend to others.

Inconvenient, stuffy, and middling in terms of quality. I've done afternoon teas at least six times now in London. This place would rate at the bottom of all the places. The environment is quite nice, but it was baking inside the room and the tables were very uncomfortable. For the price of a afternoon tea in this area, I expect to at least be comfortable. Definitely will not be back.

I stayed in a room on the first floor of the Grosvenor Hotel for six nights. Everything was truly elegant, beautifully decorated and clean. I loved it so much I took a few pictures for inspiration for my own home :). A wonderfully high ceiling and a gorgeous room length french window with corresponding drapes were the highlight for me.
Second highlight was the direct side door access to Victoria station which just made is so easier and faster for me to get around. And you won't believe; I did not hear one train the entire time!
The room was also fully equipped with basic necessities that made it feel like my home away from home, including an iron, ironing board, a jewelry box, a hair dryer, towel heater, a mini bar and even iPod speakers. Due to my early mornings and late nights, I wasn't able to enjoy the room service and or meals at the hotel but I would like to believe that these are up to scratch too.
The staff were pleasantly helpful where approached and ensured that I was assisted with everything I needed.

Only Streaky Bacon..no proper Bacon... stayed here in the past and it's the closest nice breakfast location to Victoria station; literally in the station. So I go for breakfast when passing through Victoria in the early morning. They have a very nice breakfast buffet, little pricey, but nice buffet, EXCEPT they only have American Streaky Bacon now instead of proper English back Bacon... Has the Grosvenor been taken over by Holiday Inn? Is the F&B manager formerly a McDonald's employee....so disappointed to see this happening..

A lovely place to stay in London, the service is far above anywhere else I have stayed. I have also had an girls afternoon tea. The standard was high and we enjoyed every party of the food and drinks.
T. M.
We had the Afternoon Tea. While the food was good and the free flowing champagne was actually free flowing, our experience was made by our hostess, Ana, who was so lovely, attentive and absolutely delightful. As someone who has worked in the service industry, i can vouch for her character and dedication. She was absolutely lovely!
A. R.
Very friendly staff. The tea lounge was nice but customers were packed in. So private conversation did not feel that private. The coffee was very nice. But the Earl Grey was weak. Very convenient location for my meeting.

My best friend and I went for our Afternoon Tea with Champagne at Grosvenor Hotel last week and we had a great time. The sandwiches, scones, cakes etc were so good and so yummy. We were looked after so well, will definitely go back.
T. M.
Our room was located in a very difficult location to access. We choose this hotel each time we visit from Australia due to its location and old worlde charm of the Victorian railway era. Very pricey for internatoinal standards. Thanks for such a wonderful start to our holiday and I recommend this establishment to everyone.

I am not one for reviews, but this hotel experience has been worth writing about. Using Orbitz, I got a rate that blew my mind, but that didn't bother reception; they still asked what I wanted in a room, and gave me the quietest room I could imagine in the center of London. The renovation is spectacular, the staff polite and helpful and the rooms are beautiful.
In general, one of the great failings in most hotels except the very best is bath towels. The Grovesnor provides one that rivals the bath sheet I use at home -- and it's on a heated rack!
C. M.
In a top notch location, and the property is beautiful. Rooms are VERY small, and it seems like everyone smokes in their rooms even though it is a non smoking hotel. Bed was very comfortable. Excercise area was just ok. Bathroom was also very cramped too, but this is to be expected in London. Would give 4 stars if they could crack down on all the smoking. As a nonsmoker, waking up in a room that smells like I'm in a smoking lounge really sucks.
L. T.
I didn’t actually stay in this hotel, but just wanted to write and thank the gentleman called Lawrence at the Concierge Desk for helping me out of a difficult situation, by printing out some train tickets, when I couldn’t find any Internet cafe close by to do so myself. He was really busy, but still took the time to try to help me, despite the fact I wasn’t a guest there. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to London , because this hotel obviously has great people working there. Thank you Lawrence!
d. b.
The rooms are clean the place is good from that standpoint the conscience the service is terrible they really do not know how to handle I guess. But as I said as far as the hotel goes you can't go room wrong the rooms are clean Nate and everything is taken care of that standpoint. the blows my mind as I was told if I wanted breakfast reservation I have to make it the day before if not it cost me 12 extra pounds I handle that very well though I hade all my breakfast is elsewhere
P. C.
I was there for 3 days for a training session. I couldn't afford to stay there. It is on one side of Victoria Station and has a door you can use to enter and exit the hotel directly into the station. It is for the people who can afford to stay in a top class hotel in London with all that brings. It has bus and tube and mainline trains.
J. D.
First impressions were of a grand old place, the lobby decked out with a clever Wimbledon theme, the torniment being just around the corner.
The check in was very slow, there seemed to be a computer problem... after that potracted experience and given the map to my room on the sixth floor I set off. First stop, the lifts I needed to reach my room. One of the two lobby lifts was out of order, so, another minor wait. The room required the use of two lifts so all in it was quite a trek.
The room was small and only adequately maintained. Bathroom was nice, tv was rubbish. Not that I really required it for my one night stay.
All in all a little disappointing.
S. P. S.
Great hotel, fab location and excellent staff. Highly recommend
A. C.
This hotel is near victoria station and has its own entry way to/from hotel which is really convenient. If u book ur breakfast in advance its cheaper but if u order cappuccino with breakfast its not included which was a surprise for me. Hotel is not cheap and i had to ask for bath robe, extra pillows (coz what they had was thin) and slippers. Husband was looking for amneties they said they have but didn't. House keeping left my robe on top of my luggage which was on the floor (which i left on the bed and forgot to hang). It was rainy when we were there and hotel have umbrella's u can borrow which is common. They dont allow you to bring food from outside. For an expensive hotel i honestly expected more and the lobby has a smell that is really not to our liking (even to our friends).

Afternoon tea was wonderful, especially with a 2 for 1 coupon. Room was adequate - comfortable bed but could have used some drawers for clothes. There was noise from Victoria station till late at night. Shower water temperature varied from hotmto cold and back.
M. P.
A beautiful Hotel, old vs new but I liked it! Room was lovely .... a bath and a shower! Happy girl! But no bath salts???? Why oh why, Just the little details make such a difference! Sadly the sofa bed had lost its spring so dipped in the middle, pointless to sit on it! Breakfast wasn’t all that great if I’m really honest but didn’t put a damper on my stay. Also why isn’t there Prosecco in the Executive Suite 🤔?
J. O.
Fabulous food courtesy of a Groupon voucher. Beautiful venue
A. F.
Stayed here for a few nights while sightseeing London. Executive king suite was clean, comfortable and gorgeously decorated. Accommodations were perfect, rainfall shower, tea and coffee, complementary sodas, comfortable bed, spacious rooms - and above all, gracious staff. Excellent location, too. Thank you!
A. M.
The dinner and service were both reasonable, although it seemed wait staff might be a little short, particularly as it was a Friday evening. The ambiance was good, if a little quiet and the food matched this perfectly, and whilst I would typically give four stars for this experience, we were left with a rather sour taste because of a small billing issue. My girlfriend had ordered a fairly standard orange and lemonade, and as we were at the pub section of the hotel, we thought this would be a normal soft drink request and easily achievable. However, having reviewed the bill, we noticed that we were charged 6.50 for the drink as it was made up of an orange drink and a lemonade drink, not a combined mix. We brought this up with the waitress to no avail and paid the bill, but asked for the manager simply out of principal as this was an absurd amount for a typical soft drink. Unfortunately we received no apology with just the excuse that there was no other option. If they'd have at least acknowledged this was a crazy sum it would have been fine and we'd have left satisfied, but alas, the staff didn't understand the small complaint.
S. B.
Great place! Stayed four nights during Wimbledon and the location is next to Victoria Station, making it easy to take the tube. Super friendly staff and enjoyed the breakfast. I will return!
T. J.
Great staff, food and hotel centrally located for the tourist sights of central London. They do a good afternoon English tea, with or without champagne, the scones are really light and the accompanying teas very flavoursome. The staff are very hospitable and friendly.
L. A.
Not actually stayed in the hotel so only commenting on bar. Nice decor, busy congenial atmosphere, comfy seats and very relaxing place to while away a good night with friends. Can recommend the Dim Sum after a few glasses of red. Friendly waiters!
O. A.
Spent 3 nights in Grosvenor, and I must say it's a really nice and clean hotel. You are literally at the heart of London, and just behind is the Victoria train station, which gives potential customers direct access to various train routes, I.e. to and from Heathrow and Gatwick airports using the express trains and other destinations.
All members of staff from the lobby to the restaurant are friendly and willing to help, which is key to customer experience.
Only thing I would love to see improvement would be the buffet breakfast options, it would be great to see some more variety such as pancakes etc.
In all, it is a great hotel to lodge and will always recommend this place.

We recently visited The Grosvenor Hotel for drinks with friends and family. The cocktail bar very nice with a wide selection of drinks, from wine to whiskey and cocktails to pale Ale. Very helpful and attentive stuff in the bar. With windows at the back overlooking Victoria Station, it's a lovely spot for a drink while you wait for a train.
R. W.
An opulent looking hotel just a stones throw from Buckingham Palace. The Entrance hall is massive with huge chandeliers hanging down - very impressive. The Hotel staff are friendly and eager to help so top marks for them. We had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking Grosvenor Gardens and the Shakespeare pub. It's a busy road and a noisy one too with police sirens seemingly constantly sounding but the sound insulation mostly kept the noise out.
Victoria Station is literally right next to the hotel and it can be accessed through a passage off the hotel foyer, useful if you want to catch a train or tube. Obviously, the close proximity of the station also contributed to the noise but overall this was minimised by the sound insulation in the room although, curiously, the train information announcements where crystal clear in the bathroom!
Our room was spacious and comfortable although there where a couple of niggley things... the large double bed was made up of 2 singles which started drifting apart. We discovered that the bracket joining the beds was uncoupled and bend but we eventually managed to force the bracket to work. The sheets on the bed weren't tucked in properly and I suspect they where a bit small so any movement in the bed caused the sheets to ruck up - only a little thing but slightly annoying. The TV was frustrating - it was recessed into the wall and I can only think that the speakers must have been located on the back of it, because the sound from it was very muffled making it almost impossible to hear dialogue clearly. Other little things like the tea and coffee not being replenished over our 2 day stop just let the hotel down a bit. They're not major things but far less grand hotels I've stopped in have managed to get these little things right.
The food was excellent and in particular the Grand Imperial Chinese Restaurant. The breakfast was excellent too as was the simpler choice of dishes offered in the The Grosvenor Arms although a degree of confusion over food not appearing slightly marred our first visit to it. We persevered and our 2nd visit went without a hitch. Both the The Grosvenor Arms and the Grand Imperial are part of the Hotel complex.
The slight niggles mean I only award it 4 out of 5 stars, but overall our experience at the hotel was very positive and its location is brilliant with many major attractions within an easy walk.
m. s.
Beautiful hotel. The food was good. Had a lovely time.
T. M.
We loved every minute of our stay at this hotel. Excellent position if using Victoria Coach Station or Mainline Victoria Rail. There's a rear exit from Reception that takes you right onto the station concourse which is really handy. The Shakespeare pub/restaurant is right across the street and is really fun with good food.
K. I.
What makes this hotel is the location. (Also has to do with the price..) this hotel is located a few blocks from the bus station, the underground station, and you can walk to Buckingham palace. If you're like us and come in off an overnight flight, they will hold your luggage for you at the desk until time to check in. The room is small, but it was fine for us because we just wanted a clean place to sleep.
L. F. C.
Great hotel, a 5 star service indeed.
Lovely staff, very happy and professional, always prompt to cover all your request and make your stay unforgettable, lovley room very classy, clean and tidy.
Highly recommend to visit.

This is a wonderful majestic hotel directly connected to Victoria station. There is a beautiful chandelier in the lobby and the atmosphere is just exquisite. The team room is lovely and there is a classy chinese restaurant and stunning bar. The restaurant has a great selection of dim sum (chinese small plates). The bar has an impressive collection of fine, premium and rare spirits, wines and liquors. You know you are in an upmarket classy place when you visit this place. I am here once a month, I love it here!

I stayed here for a single night in December 2012. The hotel is beautiful and the suite I stayed in was very well furnished, clean, and quieter than I expected with it looking directly onto Buckingham Palace Road.
The staff I spoke to in my (very brief) stay were all very friendly and helpful. The room was very expensive, but given the location of the hotel and the quality of the room I think it wasn't that much more expensive than I would have expected.
The buffet breakfast was acceptable, though didn't match the quality of the rest of the hotel.
D. C.
So far had good meal and room is great
C. K.
Excellent service in a wonderful setting.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for several days on a recent trip to London. The location is perfect, just down the street from Buckingham Palace and with walking distance of Westminster, get a map from the hotel desk. Eating your English …

High tea today at The Grosvenor Hotel. This was my first “real” tea time. Usually my tee times are for golf. We had a a lot of fun. The tea was served and then came the plates of very tasty sandwiches scones and desserts. One of the sandwiches was an egg salad sandwich. Haven’t had one of those in eons. It was fantastic with tea. Who knew?
The Brits are not known for many food items but “high tea” - they know how to do in grand style! This is a unique thing to do on your London vacation.
K. P.
Nice Italian waiters - Roberto is excellent. Sadly the property is undergoing renovations and hopefully will be back to its glory in a few months. Does not have a good selection of beers which is a let down. Previously they had a good selection of beers and wines. Perhaps once the work is over we might see the other side of the wine list!
S. R.
The Grosvenor is what I would call "bracingly expensive", and looks the part. A refurbished railway hotel, it is conveniently located right on the corner of Victoria Station. The main entrance is easy to miss, as it is up the block a ways; at the corner is the Grand Imperial restaurant. Although in an old building, my room was very well fitted with practical, modern affordances, well-installed with very few visible wires. All the surfaces were finished in quality materials, clean, and in good repair. Not over-the-top opulent, just your typical higher-end city-center hotel.
J. D.
Beautiful hotel and nice room! The room wasn't as large as it could be, but it didn't detract from our stay in any way. We stayed in the wing rooms, which took a little longer to get to. Gorgeously decorated older English hotel.
h. s.
The hotel was WONDERFUL! We went there in december and the hotel was looking so beautiful. The staf is very kind, specially Mohammed! Our room was very very clean, the service and food was great also. We wil go again next year, for sure.
M. B.
Great location, nice room. Only down side is some of their staff seem a bit inexperienced. They forgot our wakeup call and we missed a tour we booked. They worked with us to get us on the next day with no penalty. Bring an alarm if you are concerned.
R. H.
Room is small but comfortable. Be prepared to live out of your suitcase, as there are no shelves or drawers. Bar has a large assortment of beverages and some quite nice (though limited) food.
C.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. We had 2 rooms, both rooms were spacious and clean. I was very pleased with our stayhere.
S. M. M.
Stayed prior to and after a cruise. Got five star treatment at a fair price on first stay (booked from the states). Second stay prices were severely hiked from $175 to over $300 a night without the additional benefits of breakfast or happy hour drinks offered with the first stay. Great location next to Victoria Station and within walking distance to many attractions with easy access to the Hop on Hop off bus.
S. H. O. E.
Absolutely stunning building. The room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
R. S.
This is a very traditional London hotel - opulent without being flashy. Plenty of staff on hand who are friendly and helpful. I was there for a formal lunch which was very nice. They have a back door straight onto Victoria station concourse.
S. D.
A beautiful hotel, full of charm. Our stay was an overnight stay... we ordered room service on the day we arrived and received it promptly and tasted great. The only minus was the salt pot was completely empty.. when we arrived back to the hotel after our night out, our keycard didn’t work, when the second batch of keycards didn’t work, the receptionist kindly came up to our room and let us in with the master... all said the issue was well dealt with. Conclusion, I would still recommend the hotel and I will be visiting again for sure..
h. b.
Had a nice and spacious room. Hotel is old and charming. It is literally above victory station so if you are unlucky it can be really noisy. Breakfast menu was great, staff was helpful
K. W.
Room was small. Had trouble with the shower leaking. Don't ask the staff questions..they get upset rather quickly. Also had to walk about 3 flights of stairs to the room.
D. G. W.
Great central location to most tourist attractions. Walking distance to Buckingham palace, Harrods, Victoria station. We had a great time celebrating my mom's birthday. Took in a day long tour, complete with cruise on the Thames.
K. R.
A grand hotel that's past its prime. Slowly fading at the edges, much like its carpets.
This hotel has so much promise - with its dapper doorman, chandeliers and enough space to swing an army of cats. It just lets itself down with a slow wifi connection, too hard beds and lack of coffee machines.
A great hotel, just not for the modern age.
L. H.
We went for drinks at the bar as the cocktail bar wasn't open. Service was slow, they had ran out of draught Guinness and had no bar snacks which was quite disappointing. However, staff were friendly and it was a nice setting and great location, accessible from Victoria station.
T. M.
Quite a lovely place to stay with excellent location suitable for a quick visit to the heart of London. We were specially touched by Mr Zohaib and Mr. tahir who were available throughout for support with a big smile and friendly details. The front overlooks the street so could be noisier.
J. S.
Bit of a mixed bag. When they get it right the breakfasts and customer service is amazing (see photo). Sadly getting it wrong is what happens most often and that means long waiting times. The wrong order being brought. Staff under pressure being rude and breakfasts being cold. Real shame.
A. G.
Great hotel, really nice room and spacious for London, it was an executive room. Great breakfast. Rear door opens into Victoria station so great for getting the orient express
V.
Great location and beautiful lobby and restaurants.
Rooms themselves are small and a bit dated. There is no secure wifi available, which makes me worried in such a high traffic location as Victoria station.
J. D.
The afternoon tea is average. Everything tasted nice but lacked refinement I found in other places for the same price. The teas on their own are overpriced and not particularly flavoursome. Overall the place feels like an old establishment that has lost its grandeur.
R.
An excellent hotel in a unbeatable location. The rooms are all very nice and new, dining rooms are all very nice, staff is beyond amazing, really has everything you could want!
T. M.
Not far from Paddigton and right on top of Vistoria station this is a great location. Main feature of this hotel is its location right next to Victoria train station. Make reservations at this hotel in confidence-you will be delighted with the serviceWe can't wait for a return visitOnce again Thankyou.
S. G.
If you want an easy access room this is not the hotel. Just stayed there got 2nd floor but it was not on the second floor we went up in the lift then walked about 50mts then down about 12 stairs then another 30 mts to our room. The place is a rabbit Warren. I gave it 3 but that was for the service only.
C. D.
good location for Buckingham palace, Hyde Park and Victoria Station. Hotel itself is a little dated, but if just a place to sleep then not too bad. Breakfast was pretty good
R. E.
Stayed here whilst on a training course in London. Great location (literally next to Victoria station), Buckingham Palace 10 minutes walk, Hyde park 20 mins away, Oxford Street 30 mins walking distance). Entrance was quite grand, staff very polite. I stayed in a business accommodation room. Had all you needed. Areas of improvement would be secure WiFi, better TV signal in room (picture grainy) and more choice in Grosvenor arms restaurant. All in all, a pleasant stay.
F. R.
Excellent hotel, very warming welcome. The breakfast was included in my rate and it was excellent buffet (different kinds of eggs, marmalade, croissants, etc...) Very quiet room even being close to Victoria Train Station
T. M.
Last stay it was tired and the staff less than friendly. I went to the reception and explained what had happened and was asked by a very rude ***ager (who's name I can't remember) why I didn't go to the ""Brasserie"" where my meal had been booked. I definitely wouldn't be excited to stay.
C. M.
The Governor is a truly beautiful hotel that is set in the heart of London . The rooms are very clean , spacious and modern with great city views. The restaurants are equally lovely and serve a wide range of quality food.
M. W.
Was not staying, just a meeting. Impressive entrance and nice area available for meeting and drinks. Staff very polite and helpful. Conveniently placed for Victoria station and very close to Theatres, restaurants, shopping and sightseeing.
f. a.
I like this hotel because it smells old England. It is beautiful, very English, yet with a good standard. One downside is that some rooms are tiny and/or located over the street or the railway station, thus noisy.
B. Q.
This was such a nice hotel! We had such a nice stay here. The room was incredibly clean and the hotel staff was awesome. We will definitely be back!
S. T.
It's got a feel of former luxury, a but tatty at the edges, but the rooms are a goid size and well appointed.
Breakfast is the usual buffet melee, but it's in a great location, with loads of dining locations, so what's not to like
C. N.
My husband and l have just returned from a delicious Afternoon Tea with Champagne at the Grosvenor Hotel. I would like to thank Muhammad and our waitress, Maria for their excellent customer service. Hoping to return in November when we shall be going to the Royal Albert Hall.
R. L.
We liked this place. Service was good and room was very well presented.
It is rather central, close to victoria station (main train hub) and walking distance to buckingham palace (10mins), westminister abbey (20 mins) and trafalgar square (25mins). There is also a little convenience shop round the corner near victoria station to stock up on wine, rose, and other goodies for a fraction of the room service prices.
K.
Old, grand hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly and it has a good bar. What's not to like?
L.
Had a meeting here one afternoon, very beautifully decorated foyer and drawing room. The atmosphere is quite calm and relaxed and there is plenty of chairs and table on the side if you are in need of a seat.
P. O.
Located next to Victoria mainline station the Grosvenor Hotel is ideally situated for visiting London. The rooms were of a high standard and a reasonable size and my room had a seperate lounge area with tv. All of the staff encountered were polite and friendly during my duration.I would not hesitate in returning to this lovely hotel.
S. S.
Great old hotel within walking distance to Buckingham Palace and Gardens. Negative: very small rooms that are out of the way. Great Breakfast buffet.
h. c.
Went for quick coffee meeting and ordered a white Americano. The worst coffee I have had in years was really surprised for such an established hotel. They replaced it with a black coffee no milk! Couldn't be bothered to send back again!
D. C.
Hotel food and staff are great, the room I stayed in required renovation due to wear. There were also only 5 TV channels which were fuzzy which reception said I would have to change to an updated room to fix although they said there not many of those new rooms available.
T. P.
Nice place. Clean and very nice staff. It is located directly to Victoria Station and is central. Had a wonderful smooth night in the comfortable beds. I would recommend it every time.
w.
Incredible hotel with great staff and phenomenal location.we flew into Gatwick so all we had to do was take the express and Get off at Victoria. Really nice lounge with free food and drinks.
J. P.
If you prefer old world charm similar to the series Downton Abbey.
Then this gent is more than satisfactory and will not disappoint.
All the trimmings incl. underfloor heating to the ensuite which surprised me coming from Perth, Western Australia.
On top of the normal like tea/coffee making facilities it has a bar fridge with both still and sparkling water (in glass bottles not plastic). Shortbread biscuits are also provided. It has an iron wth ironing board. In-house safe.
Free Wi-Fi with excellent response time compared to Perth. Buffet style breakfast with all condiments was included in the room rate. A separate licensed bar and also cafe/eatery is under the main roof for your choice.
M. L.
Excellent hotel. The room is clean and spacious. The staff is aimbale and smiling. Breakfast very correct. Near subway and strategic points for a visit to London
M. U.
Decided to visit for an Afternoon Tea ... hotel very grand and atmosphere is brilliant, staff very friendly and welcoming... What was disappointing was the food quite bland , no real taste and some sandwiches extremely bitter. Value for money wasn't there due to the quality of food. Experience was nice therefore mixed reviews
T. M.
The Grosvenor Hotel in London, England is perfectly situated for a stay in London. The location is perfect with easy access to theatres, museums and mainline termini. There is a sneaky entance straight into the hotel from Victoria Station concourse which is really convenient. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
S. F.
Lovely hotel. Had a small problem the first day which we discussed and things where soon sorted out for us. Its really close to Buckingham palace and the hop on buses are right outside so nice and handy 😊😊
T. M.
My first time stay in Victoria station and Grosvenor hotel. Nice big hotel with history and close to Buckingham palace. Convenient and attached to Victoria train station. Prefect location in winter as all covered.
T.
Very nice hotel. I stayed Oct 2012 & staff was friendly and there was a nice neighborhood nearby. I took a stroll solo at night and felt safe. My room was spotless and this is coming from a germaphobe.
D. R.
Just had coffee and drinks. Restaurant area was very dark. Not many people in so not a great atmosphere. Good meeting place for business. Good location with access from Victoria station.
S. F.
My favourite London hotel for a work stay - great service, 5 check out booths, great breakfast and WiFi has never let me down. Good gym as well (for its location)
D. D.
Really nice building, uber polite staff. Very luxurious feel to the place, the dining room has really high ceilings and top end sofas, great place to stop for tea/lunch and have a meeting or knock some work off. Very floe to victoria station. Nice place to visit.
K. B.
beautiful hotel with top notch service with only two complaints. 1) the internet is spotty and inconsistent. 2) there are stairs in front of the hotel which makes getting you luggage inside a chore.
G. V.
Started our Brittish Islands/Ireland trip here. Nice hotel with good rooms and a nice dining ambiance in 2 dining rooms. Close to Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park.
H. C.
Location is excellent, attached to Victoria station so very convenient. The rooms are very spacious with double glazed windows ensuring you don't hear the noise of the city.
J. E.
The hotel is old, grand and well maintained. Being in central London it comes at a very high price for food and drink. Nice if you want something to eat or drink before going to the apollo for Wicked.
C. S.
The toilets in our bathroom only flushed about every fourth time, there was broken glass in my parents' room. Breakfast was great and the hotel itself was well placed and gorgeous.
M. C.
Afternoon tea with champagne good value with Groupon coupon. Comfortable, elegant surroundings. Service was a mixed bag of inattentive staff versus competent staff.
T. M.
The fact that this hotel is accessed from Victoria Station is a real plus if you are arriving in London via train and this is your terminus. Transfer from Heathrow was very convenient as we took the bus straight to Victoria. A fulll breakfast was included in the much reduced price.
L. R. J.
Great place. Good food and drinks! Very limited set menu.
N. (. T. P.
Had a lovely overnight stay. Room was really cosy and the breakfast was delicious. All staff were really helpful and friendly. No complaints
M. L.
Lovely old-time stylish hotel with modern rooms. Personal and very friendly service from the nice staff. Will definitely come back!
T. S.
This hotel is very quaint and centrally located. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here again.
G. K.
Great old fashioned (in a good way) London hotel. Room was lovely, food was great, staff were brilliant. I will 100% stay there again.

The hotel itself is quite comfortable, and the staff is very nice. However I took a star off because Internet service within the building is spotty at best and their internal wi-fi is unstable.

Had afternoon tea here for my birthday. The service was fantastic and even brought a cake with candles! Lovely tasting food as well. Catered for vegetarians as well.

Great accommodation but a lot of construction and noisy.
Breakfast is perfect with many choices.
In Victoria station so very handy

The stay overall wasn’t bad... however seems they have some service glitches and poorly trained staff in some areas. Or ineffective procedures: like during breakfast hostess takes a long time to get the guests seated and it results in a very long 10-12 mins queue to enter the restaurant. Not a pleasant experience if you are in a hurry in the morning. Also my room card stopped working every night I came back to the hotel although I haven’t kept it next to mobile device. Overall staff are quite kind and have a great attitude. But I felt absence of proper leadership there.

Tremendous... Love It, Love It, love It... We only had drinks as we'd just eaten, however we wished that we'd eaten in here it looked fantastic and the menu options were very tempting. The general feeling of the place is cool, the staff …

5 star hotel. 5 star service. Super location to literally everything! Breakfast was amazing!!! I'll miss that bacon😣 Rooms were spacious. Everything was absolutely perfect. I'll be back again.

Room was lovely and big enough for me and my family. The bathroom was brilliant with a shower cubicle and bath. The only downside was that the pillows were not comfortable.

Love this hotel. We were there for 5 nights and cannot think of anything negative. Great location can get to hotel right from Victoria Station. Beautiful large rooms and friendly staff.

Hotel is very nice. Very quiet at night. The air conditioning is inconsistent. Price is too high for the size of room and amenities. Delicious breakfast and great location for sightseeing.

Lovely stay. Big room, friendly staff, good breakfast, great location. No complaints whatsoever and would happily revisit.
R. W.
Good food and reasonably priced drinks.
The service was first class, we were served by a waitress called Victoria, who was very attentive without being in your face.
Thank you!

From the bellstand to the housekeepers the entire hotel is nothing but about service and giving you a great experience. The remodeled rooms are very up to modern standards and the location can't be beat.

Stayed here 3 nights. Small room but impeccably clean. Staff was very helpful. Excellent location. Highly recommended.

Little small but quite clean and well managed hotel. Also it located very reachable point.
Another good thing is the hotel connected the Victoria station & underground station.

It's a good location. My room was good. The problem is they have some really horrible rooms, like up in the roof so make sure you have a decent room. Well recommended.

Bar was clean, warm and cosy. Service wasn't so great, especially for somewhere prestigious. Didn't have drinks listed on the menu and then took a very long time to actually bring our order.

Very charming hotel. Center of everything I wanted to see in London. Staff very helpful and polite. Right next to Victoria Station. Will recommend to all my friends.

Wonderful hotel with exceptional staff and a truly lovely room. Large comfortable bed, great view of London and a very nice champagne bar.

Fantastic hotel with comfy rooms, lovely staff and great English breakfasts. While the price is quite high, the value of service and its central location somehow justify it.

Afternoon tea was delicious. A lovely variety of food which was well presented, in comfortable and luxurious surroundings. Staff were friendly and polite. Definitely recommend.

Great and beautiful hotel but service is poor compared to the hotel rating... I had to wait for over 3 hour to get room changed because the preference was mixed up, which went late into the night missed dinner and had to please with reception to chased up with catering staff to provide their 24 hours pizza offer (just won't pick up the phone)...
Also l was made to wait for long to get pre-order the breakfast (room service) because it was miss because order fell off (their excuse!!)

Very nice hotel staff very polite and friendly and helpful

Not as good as it looks on the surface. Had to move rooms due to rattling windows. Second room had some broken fixtures. Water & biscuits etc were not replaced each day.

I have had a great stay at the Grosvenor hotel and the staff are very friendly and helpful it has been one of my best birthday so far.

Great location right by Victoria Station, with an entrance to Buckingham Palace Road and a smaller on into the station too. Lovely interior and staff were very helpful. Food is excellent.

Classy hotel with nice rooms but slightly cramped. Very polite and helpful service from hotel staff. Conveniently located right above Victoria station.

Food was great, after I reminded room service I'd placed an order.
Breakfast, I was seated at someone's else's spot then couldn't be seated after that was corrected.
Bed was comfy.

Excellent place if you want to stay near by public transport. Victoria station is just adjacent to the hotel. Lot of great restaurants nearby as well.

Just back from a fantastic stay at this hotel . We had a party of 5 ..my daughter was celebrating her 21st and her nan.s 84th .The staff were superb and made us all feel welcome and special ..we will certainly be back.x

They are very helpful and friendly. The bathrooms are very small and we had to walk a ways to our room. Over all the place is very charming and centrally located.

Lovely hotel, staff very attentive. Ideal location for Central London to see the all the sights. Definitely recommend staying there
C. R.
It's convenient for Victoria Station but they really do need to train staff to smile occasionally. Food is OK with London prices.

Afternoon tea booked for the family to celebrate son's 21st birthday. Lovely food, staff couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend a visit.

Very central location but quite pricey. All the staff is very attentive. Normal double rooms are pretty small but deluxe doubles are quite spacious if you are willing to pay more or join their loyalty program..
M. W.
Refurnished rooms in the tower are nice. Make sure to not end up in one of the old rooms: absolute nightmare. Pricy but located just in the center with direct access to Victoria station.

Hotel is marvelous! Beautiful building with classy interior design. It was very close to the main streets in London so we walked almost everywhere. It gives you a lot of precious time if U are for short city trip. The staff was very kind …

Great afternoon tea. Fresh sandwiches, warm scones and lovely cakes. Champagne was chilled lovely. Would return.

Room I was in was showing it's age. Bed not comfy. Friendly staff, good location and great architecture.

Beautiful hotel. Well kept. Staff could be a little friendlier. Genuinely enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anybody.

Very traditional, very British, classy hotel at impeccable location, with history and outstanding customer service. You should try full English breakfast!
K. M.
I stopped for drinks in the bar which was lovely.. quite expensive but very nice! The staff were very friendly. And the afternoon tea looked amazing - will try next time!

Great location and beautiful lobby and restaurants.
Rooms themselves are small and a bit dated. There is no secure wifi available, which makes me worried in such a high traffic location as Victoria station.

Upgraded to one of their huge rooms for a bargain price was awesome have wanted to go back ever since

Amazing location with friendly and helpful staff made us feel so welcome. Breakfast on alfresco was my highlight.

Fading glory, but great potential. Friendly staff at reception but restaurant needs a reboot. Also lovely lady in Executive lounge, but again working with limited resources.

Large hotel with nice, well-maintained rooms. Staff are helpful too. The lifts are a tad small, and I don't think there are enough!

Awesome night stay. The room was magnificent. The bed was the best bed I've ever slept in. Would definitely recommend this to anybody staying in the area.

We stopped in for breakfast on a cold wet day and we treated with great kindness and consideration.
They offered to keep our bags while we attended mass at the Cathedral.
Thank you !!

Have a couple of minutes to spare at the station but want to go somewhere a bit nicer than the pub around the corner? Don't try Reunion. They have a nice bar and plenty of priceish cocktails but service is slow, very slow.

Very cosy atmosphere and fantastic food... Every single dish is full of rich flavours.. The head chef served us himself which was a very pleasant surprise.. Highly recommend!!

Great art statues from Victorian Times.... a great way to study them is close up and what better way to capture from the Tour Bus..... will take you back in time... Learning more about the Building ... this was the first building to have electricity in London....

Convenient location near Victoria Station. Hotel has a nice London feel. A but confusing and lots of conference rooms near guest rooms.

I only used the Grovesnor bar but its a beautiful hotel. The food was amazing and the staff were very polite and efficient. Wonderful experience.

The room was small by American standards, but it was nice and clean and everyone was friendly. It's connected to Victoria station, so very convenient.

Beautiful place to stay and to enjoy the day :))
