Bit weird one to be honest as it was my first time travelling outside of Birmingham with my younger brother. the Hotel was clean but the staff didn't greet us at first and seemed to be in habit of a daze. the room was super dark compared to the images online. I thought from the reviews it would be a fun stay. the price - for me - was really expensive for what it was and maybe that's because these are London prices. The location is very good and close by to the underground. I had a really fun night regardless but I thought the hotel didn't really hit my exceptions. It was OK.

The room was lovely and the location was fantastic. The lobby area was lovely for relaxing in, and the hotel overall suited us perfectly. Unfortunately, we found issue with the staff. Those who were working in the evening were helpful when we needed ice and extra pillows in the room, but one blonde woman who was working in the mornings was incredibly rude. The morning we checked out we decided to have a coffee in the lobby. She made us all feel uncomfortable when we ordered from her and our coffees came wrong. My latte was cold and was not filled to the top. It’s a shame that her attitude ruined the end of our trip.

What a fab hotel. The rooms are great. Really creative and the bed was super comfy. I love the shower in the bathroom too. Staff were very friendly and welcoming .

A fantastic place to stay right in the heart of Shoreditch and if you book early enough you get a cracking deal.
We stayed for 1 Saturday night 2 people including breakfast for £100. Parking around the hotel on a saturday and Sunday is free and everything in Shoreditch is walking distance.
The bed was a Super King and we had a brilliant night stay. It was like a pod with the bathroom behind. Shower was excellent. Breakfast was amazing buffet so help yourself and they had a pancake machine. Free tea and coffee with travel cups which makes it so much easier. Only thing I would say is the we had a room without a window so it was too dark in the room for my partner to do her makeup, but she did it in the bathroom instead.

Clean, luxurious and no fuss. Fabulous rooms with the comfiest beds we've ever found in a hotel. Rooms private, quiet and dark to sleep. Wonderful free coffee and very helpful staff. Recommend a stay here.

We bought a 'Virgin Experience' gift for ourselves at Christmas which included a 1 night stay at the Corner and a cookery experience at Canary Wharf. Hotel was only a few minutes from Aldgate East Tube. They had a problem finding the booking when checking in but I think this was to do with a Virgin Experience booking. The place is quirky! (Loved the Qclocktwo on the wall). Room was all that we needed for the 1 night stay. Staff were breezy and helpful our entire time there. Being very near the a main road on a Sunday night we expected more noise creeping into the room at night but this was not the case...good soundproofing. Lovely stay. Recommended.

Booked only for a 2 night stay with wife and 5 year old. Great quirky hotel for a stay in the city, tube only a few mins walk away and easy to find. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice double bed and a sofa bed for our boy. Hotel has great facilities with complementary tea and coffee in the lobby/bar, family were welcome here also. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and easy going and happy to interact with our son. All in all a great hotel for a family stay, would stay again.

Great location to explore Whitechapel and Spitalfields from. It's an eco-friendly hotel so there are a lot of unique features in it. We stayed in their Plush Room which was very comfortable with modern and sustainable furnishings. You won't find a better breakfast so I'd recommend eating at the hotel. The dinner menu is also very tasty!
C. K.
Great value for money, convenient location and easy contact free check-in. Would stay again. However....
Unfortunately we stayed on a Saturday night and there was a club/event nearby pumping loud music until 3am. Not the hotel's fault but it did show that sound proofing wasn't amazing. Equally noise from the corridor was quite loud through the door, and water usage from other rooms seemed to flow under our room (#232).

Nice hotel, well furnished with interesting interior design, location is quite good for the price and staff is very friendly.
Works well for young couples or groups of friends visiting London.
Check-in and out at self-service terminals with no real counter. However, staff is always around in case you need them.
Minus points definitely for the sliding door to the bathroom which doesn't shut properly. Somebody didn't think that one through!!
M. H.
Rooms are amazing, high ceilings and well designed.... But we stayed in room 9, on ground floor... You can hear everytime people are outside arguing and we also had a sewage smell when we walked in....and the toilet door is broken and hanging off the rails.... Take that away and it's a really good hotel and amazing location....
M. H.
Amazing quirky hotel only stayed one night after attending my grandaughter 's graduation stayed as a family of eight all had fab windowless rooms would totally recommend to friends and family very clean comfy bed, fluffy towels and toiletries.

+ great location in the city centre, 2 minutes away from metro station
+ nice and cheap accomodation
+ self check-in
+ breakfast (and pancake maker)
+ good-smelling shampoo 😀
- little noise from outside
- quite cold in room (even we had A/C)
It has my expectations - nice, cheap and in the city centre.

Stayed there for two weeks as part of the Covid Quarantine package and wow! The staff is fantastic, the food is great and the rooms are very comfortable. I only wish there was some sort of gym or exercise equipment on-site.
L. O.
Really nice stay in what was a surprisingly comfortable and spacious room, with a really nice lobby/co-working space to get work done in BUT staff were at times either rude, disdainful, or wholly unpleasant to deal with.
As mentioned, the room was great and led to a very comfortable stay for a great price. I was in London for work, and the working spaces allowed me to get what I needed to done with no issues alongside some super speedy wifi. From this perspective, I'd highly recommend.
Honestly, the only thing that stopped my giving 5 stars in this review, and possibly stopping me from staying again was several moments dealing with some (not all) of the lobby area staff where they were either rude, looked like they couldn't be bothered to help, or at times even being passive aggressive.
On the first morning I got stopped by a staff member by the elevator. For context, the vegan breakfast options are extremely limited unless you just want toast maybe (No big deal, plenty of outside options), and after eating my own breakfast bought at a local café while getting some work done in the lobby, was quizzed if breakfast was already paid for on my room and that I can't just take it. I was utterly baffled where staff got the idea that I had brought my own brown bags, food trays, and disposable coffee cups? But ok I let it slide.
Similar issue with this on the second morning, quite literally sat at the very far back corner of the work/lobby area eating the same breakfast. Again to reiterate, no problem eating what was on offer at the hotel if there was any kind of half decent vegan selection, but there wasn't. This time I was told to leave, and had to pack up my stuff just to finish my breakfast in my room before coming back down to continue work. Literally what is the point in this? The lobby area had about 3 other people in it, and I found this wholly conflicting with the whole WeWork co-working vibe the space is shooting for. You're saying I can't grab a bite to eat from elsewhere while trying to get work done in the hotel I've paid to stay in and work from? God forbid I brought back a sandwich for lunch... (Had a similar unpleasant dealing with staff when asking about lunch options I won't get in to)
To summarise again what I've said above, I would 100% stay at the Corner again, and always go out of my way to be nice to staff as hospitality is not an easy gig, but when staff are just unpleasant for no apparent reason it really grates, and would be the sole reason I wouldn't stay here again.

Fab boutique hotel, in an excellent location. Hotel staff were helpful, its warm, friendly and has quirky decoration. We loved it. Its just a 2min walk from Aldgate East tube and has a diy check in/out process.
D. S.
We were there during Storm Eunice. The room was cold because the heating wasn't working well, but I didn't want the hassle of switching rooms...
To their credit, they went to the trouble of finding an oil filled radiator for us...

Loved it! Very clean room. Friendly staff. Nice Continental breakfast. Shame no tea facilities in the room. But overall would definitely stay again.
N. W.
Nice bar downstairs. Good to hang out.
T. K.
Nice room, friendly staff, decent buffet breakfast, fast and free WiFi. Enjoyed our stay here.

Very good hotel. Fantastic breakfast, nice and clean room. Good position near the tube

Stayed here for my hen weekend and it was perfect. The hotel looks lovely and the staff were so friendly and looked after us throughout. Special thank you to Kelsey and Karina for helping me organise our stay and plan celebrations in one of their lovely private rooms - they were so helpful and always there to answer any of my queries leading up to the weekend. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Very nice hotel big rooms friendly staff and helpful the breakfast was also good plenty of choice very clean would defo stay here again

. Staff are awesome.
Very highly recommended!

Great hotel, comfy bed and the bar is really good

Amazing location. Staff are all so nice and accommodating. Loved our stay here with our small doggy

Found this amazing hotel by accident and it is now my new go to for overnight in London! Great staff, great rooms and fantastic atmosphere.
S. F.
Positive: Very nice and helpful staff. Easy and fast check-in (covid safe). The entrance area and lounge are very nice. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Also try the breakfast, it was great. The location of the hotel is excellent.
Negative: A very strange bed-bath constellation in the room. The bathroom is not a separate room, it looks more like a container and is directly behind the bed. The "bathroom" also has no real door, so your fellow travellers will hear every little noise coming out of the bathroom. So you have no privacy. The room is badly soundproofed. The picture at the head end of the bed was very irritating, but that is probably a matter of taste. The parking space was quite expensive (20 per day).
Overall: A good hotel and it is definitely suitable for a short stay.

Outstanding! We stayed at the Qbic Hotel for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. The hotel is in a prime location and has access to onsite parking. Prior to our arrival I contacted the team to see if they could make the room extra special for our arrival. I wanted to say a massive thank you to Kelsey for going above a beyond decorating the room and making it extra special. We stayed in the fun room, really spacious, funky decor and quirky lighting.
We spent most of the time at the bar, we tasted one of the best Mojitos ever. Massive thank you to Jermain for keeping the drinks flowing and making the most fabulous cocktails.
We also added breakfast to our package. It was a continental breakfast with a few British brekky features. Every morning we were greeted by Lonela who ensured all customers got their breakfast whilst adhering to covid restrictions.. Unfortunately we were not able to serve ourselves but Lonela ensuref we were well fed and hydrated, it was a pleasure seeing your lovely smile.
Overall I would highly recommend Qbic hotel london to everyone and I will be coming back. Thank you for making our stay special.
Much love
Jo

Do far so good, a very pleasant hotel, I would definitely stay again

I lived at Qbic hotel for 6 weeks - 2 weeks quarantine package and 4 weeks long stay! So here are my real 5 stars. Is it a perfect hotel? No. So why 5 stars? Because they exceeded all my expectations for a 3-star hotel. It is quirky, it is weird, and it has all the necessary amenities. It is definitely value for money. In other reviews, I see people expecting luxury treatment when paying so less!
Excellent location - you can't beat that. Everything is nearby. Cosy & comfy bed and nice & clean rooms. Good food and lovely lounge area. Basic exercise equipment. Free tea/coffee on the floor.
Last but not least - Super Friendly Staff! They even let you borrow their bikes to roam around the city, and they give you 5 quid coupon on drinks if you skip cleaning on that day! I like how focused they are on reducing the carbon footprint. Few suggestions to the hotel:
1) Rotation of breakfast items - Not saying breakfast is not good. There is a good selection. Suitable for short stay guests but not sure about long stay guests. It's just I got bored after 3-4 days of eating the same things. Adding hot food items (eggs, roasted potatoes, sausages etc.) will be great.
2) Auditing online menu - I noticed in a few menu drink items. It will show me the right price but adding them in basket automatically add few extra quid (I think for those items where you have combo deals but when you add drink item, it charges extra)
3) Removing posters from the back of the bed - I didn't mind (after some time) posters of 3 girls or 1 lady, but I can see it can be a little weird. Any neutral colour (white) should be right there.

Stayed at the QBIC Hotel during my 10-day quarantine in London. The stay was fanatic and exceeded my expectations. The staff were absolutely lovely and professional. It was a pleasure to interact with every single one of them.
One of my best experiences in London, and I will definitely stay here in the future.
If you are looking for a place to quarantine, I would highly recommend it. My PCR tests came in time, and were sent out by the staff in time as well (day 2, 5, and 8). I booked the cozy room package, and it was just as advertised. Very roomy, clean and comfortable. The quarantine package included a meal plan, and the food options were lovely. Mat and workout equipment can be provided to you upon request, so you can stay active in your quarantine.
Overall, I was very pleased with this experience, and have already recommended the place to friends who are planning to come to the UK soon

We stayed at the Qbic Hotel from December 2020 through to the beginning of April 2021.
We were working in the area and needed accommodation and were so pleased we found this gem.
We’ve stayed in numerous hotels in Central London over the years but none have quite compared.
Karina and her team were extremely helpful right from the beginning and despite the concerns over COVID19, they always had a smile on their faces.
They are all welcoming, polite and always on the look out to make your stay the best it can possibly be.
The rooms are modern, bright and, most importantly, impeccably clean.
We stayed here during the COVID19 Lockdown and everyone felt comfortable and assured in the hotel environment.
Thank you again for your kind hospitality.
We will be back working in London soon and we’ll be sure to be booking in at the Qbic Hotel.
Your team are a credit to the hospitality industry.

When the argument of where to stay popped up, "Qbic Hotel London" becomes the final suggested place for my self-Isolation when I arrived in the UK. The simple reason for the decision then was because of their interest in security, cleanliness, fair price compare to the hotel standard, quality menu, and excellent service with good customer relationship.
I must say a big thank you to Qbic Hotel London for their wonderful and excellent service with good treatment as I enjoyed my stay in London.

This is my second time visiting Qbic Hotels in London and will definetively be coming back. We love the overall design and look and feel of the hotel. Staff are very nice and helpful and room was big and comfy. Only downside is that the area around the hotel is not very nice. Park in front is full of weird looking people, specially at night, but not much you can do about it.

Our stay at Qbic was beyond expectations. The staff was friendly. We arrived before check in and they were super accommodating with taking our luggage while we went to sight see nearby attractions and get some lunch. The location was convenient as we had an easy access to the Tube. We felt super safe and greeted each time we arrived. I love how environmentally friendly the whole place is. After long days of sight seeing, it was so nice to come back and go to sleep. We got a great night sleep and were able to get up early and do it all over again. We truly enjoyed our stay here and can't wait to go back. We would love to come back to Qbic if it has any rooms available. It was extremely affordable and you have nearby cafes, restaurants, bars and groceries a few steps away from the location.

This is my third or fourth visit to your London city hotel. I absolutely love this place- it’s luxurious without feeling pretentious, and attracts a neat bunch of guests as well. Can’t say enough wonderful things about your friendly staff, who go out of their way to assist at all times and follow up afterwards to see that things went all right!
I choose this hotel also as it’s a great value for money in an otherwise very expensive city. Tube connections and proximity are terrific, which is great draw!
Finally since my last visit, there have been many positive changes in the neighborhood as well. Park outside seems cleaner and safer, and there are more places to hang out, grab a bite within a few minutes walk. I think I have found my favorite place to stay in London, replacing a very posh Chelsea hotel, I might add. Keep up the outstanding work!!
PS- I love the elevator quotes- I look forward to them on every visit!!!
A. S.
I stayed here recently due to its proximity to the Royal London hospital. The staff were helpful and there was good food available which was being run as a take away service for you to eat in your room. Car parking as an option was useful as its it's difficult to find in this part of London.
K.
Loved the overall design, and restaurant served great food. Bar staff could've been better. Rest of the staff were very friendly. Room could've been bit cleaner if I'm honest, and shower could've been bit more powerful, but toiletries were lovely, and loved the green initiative! One lift wasn't working our whole 3 night stay, and the other lift was pretty slow/ busy. But overall had a pleasant, quirky stay :)

Recently we stayed at Qbic hotel london. After returning back to London in November’20 from India, we were looking for hotel to quarantine for 15 days. Qbic hotel were providing very good quarantine packages for travellers like us, so selected their package which included stay and food. And I must say we enjoyed our stay at Qbic. Location is good with all amenities nearby and close to central London, its near Whitechapel. They have very nice, beautifully decorated and functional rooms. I really liked their interiors where they have used minimal things yet you have all essentials and comfort in the room. They also provide yoga mats and have few small equipment for exercise on the fourth floor. Food is very tasty and healthy from Motley restaurant which is on ground floor. Our breakfast, lunch and dinner was included in the package and we enjoyed all our meals. They have good options of vegan food, one must try their vegan burger, beetroot borani, fish finger burger 😋. Also, coffee machines are there on each floor so you can have unlimited coffee and tea anytime of the day. And MOST IMPORTANTLY their staff is very friendly and helpful 😀.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at Qbic and would definitely recommend this hotel for stay and food.
T. A.
Decent place to stay, close to Shoreditch and surrounding areas, really comfortable and spacious beds, only inconvenience is the shower isn't really powerful at all but otherwise, I can't complain.
S. T.
Staff were all lovely and helpful. Bathroom was spotless with a fantastic shower. Room was far more specious than I had expected and the bed was really comfy. Super easy check in process and they could hold my luggage until I could check in. The free coffee machine was much appreciated!
P. R.
We approached the hotel via Mulberry Street in a car. The signage needs improving as it was difficult finding the entrance; there is a very small Qbic sign high above the entrance which is difficult to see when under it. I liked the self checking in but had to be shown how to use it which kind of defeated the purpose. Again better signage would help.
The staff were easy to locate, they were friendly and very helpful.
The hotel is very clean and has a charming Nordic feel.
We were in a basement room (no window obviously). The room was large and well ventilated and not having a window was no detraction, in fact I preferred it as it made the room very quiet and dark when the lights were out. It would have been nice if coffee making facilities were available for the basement rooms as it was a bit of a trek to the first floor.
Our bed was very large and comfortable; no complaints there.
All in all a very pleasurable stay. The hotel is quirky and not your usual London bog standard chain which certainly added to our stay.
Unfortunately we did not have an opportunity to eat in the hotel as we were visiting relatives but the menu looked fantastic.
The rooms are reasonably priced and would recommend that you give them a try.

Stayed at Qbic again after staying there for over a week in September 2018.
This time around we checked in on 13/9/2018 till 17/9/2018 and back on 27/9/2018 till 29/9/2018. Staff, notably Mr Jihad was very helpful, accommodating and so welcoming! Made our stay even more pleasant!
The first week we stayed the coffee machine was out of order but the lobby was kind enough to provide us with coffees and hot milk for the inconvenience. Amazing welcoming drinks each night as well. Funky lobby as well as rooms to cater to everyone.
Rooms were well kept and clean. Maybe a kettle upon request could be considered for hotel guests especially when the coffee machine was out of order. Great breakfasts as well.
Excellent customer service, great location and worthy of more visits. Highly recommended.
T. D.
Hip, funky and quirky. But not at the expense of quality or service
R. B.
Everything we experienced at Qbic was excellent. The room was cleverly designed to feel more spacious that it is and the bed was super comfortable. The bar and restaurant were great spaces to relax and the breakfast was delicious. It is such good value for the location it's hard to believe! I am already looking forward to my next stay.
K. B.
Really nice location, even got a free upgrade on top of early check in. Staff was nice and helpful. Room was definitely interesting. There was a lot of space for a solo traveler. Maybe a bit too much wasted space? Unfortunately during my stay, there was construction right next door. Might have been nicer on the other side facing the park. But my second night was on a weekend so I only really endured that for a day. Overall, I'd come back and stay again. Maybe when construction is done?
A. K. P.
Clean rooms with a very unique room design, I really liked the Bathroom which looks like a cubicle.
Very friendly staff, very polite and always happy to greet you with a big smile on their faces.
Very environmental conscious hotel with a hip attitude and many cool details in every space (room, common areas, even elevators)
Take your cool pic in the elevator and grab your morning coffee from the coffee machine on the floor .
Room could have some more hangers/bigger closet for your clothes.
Really liked the toiletries (organic, natural ingredients such as honey and lemon in shampoo and soap)
Generally a very pleasant stay, I will definitely be coming back soon.
N. S.
Lovely staff. Pleasant and cheerful. Clean and quiet rooms. Coffee and tea on your floor available 24/7. That’s helpful! Optional buffet breakfast for an extra reasonable fee. I highly recommend and will be a bit sad to leave in a few days. I’ll be back for sure. Thanks for a memorable stay.
D. S.
Located close to brick lane, which is great. The rooms were far from cheap and the fit out of the rooms was disappointing. Hard surfaces, exposed services, open clothes rail and a light at the end of a bed that was literally a bulb with a hose pipe wrapped around it.
The bar was brilliant though, really nice place to hang out, though on our second night it shut early.
I wouldn’t stay here again, but I did enjoy the stay.
Z. K.
Excellent place to stay with very friendly service
P. S.
The hotel is at a good spot, located near to bus and underground. The services are good but you need to explore them by your own. The rooms are awesome for the price given. With an hostel price tag here.
There are rooms without windows which are so well designed that you even don't recognize it. The infotainment is great since you'll be having a TV with a lot of local apps of your home country.
The bathroom is good and the air condition makes it possible le to dry easily and fast. Only issue: the air condition/circulation is so loud that it doesn't help you sleep. The bed is awesome, big and comfy.
The service is okay. They clean once a day quite good (only hard to reach areas are a little dusty).
S. B.
The hotel overall is quirky and fun. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The room was a fantastic layout and very quirky the only downside was the picture on the over bed panel. The breakfast was not accommodating for those on a plant based diet and I believe if you have dairy allergies this would be very restricting. Far to expensive what what you get. It wasn't a bad hotel to stay in and I'm 50/50 on whether to come back or not. 6/10
I. M.
I stayed at the Qbic for 6 nights, 7 days for a work trip, but also had lots of free time on my hands. I didn't have much of a plan when I came to London from Washington DC, as I was given 2 notice of my trip only 2 weeks before. However, my experience with the hotel and the super friendly staff was a major catalyst to my trip being so enjoyable. The staff was so nice and friendly and wound up giving me tons of recommendations on where to go out on the town. By the end of the week, I felt I had seen so much of London. The staff were super kind and remembered my name after one introduction and would brighten my day every time I walked into the lobby and they'd emphatically say hello!
The food at the restaurant was very good, and also healthy for the most part. Eating healthy is hard for me to do when traveling but the food options at the hotel restaurant made that problem nonexistent.
The room had an interesting layout, but was perfect for someone traveling solo, or even a couple staying in town.
Overall I would give my experience at Qbic an 11/10. I felt like I had made friends with the hotel staff as well as other guests staying in the hotel. Everyone I met was so happy and kind and I think the positivity emanating throughout the hotel directly contributed to the amazing experience I had. I will be staying a Qbic again if and when I return to London
A. C.
What I loved most was the unusual design and experience it offered. The staff is really welcoming and caring, which adds to the good vibes we feel at this hotel. I had breakfast there - I would have appreciated eggs included in the buffet though -, dinner there, I worked there...and the atmosphere is really exceptional. It was the first time I had breakfast in music in a hotel I must say! I felt really good at this place, the location is very convenient also - I was working 10 minutes away from the hotel and it's so close to the underground station that you can reach the city centre and the St Pancrace Station in no time. Great discovery, great service, great time.
B. M.
Our stay at the Qbic Hotel London was the best experience we have ever had during all of our international travels. We've previously stated at 3 and 4 star resorts and properties with Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt properties in Rome, Paris, and all throughout the United States and Mexico, and the Qbic Hotel London beats them all hands down. From the wonderful and courteous staff to the very responsive and tidy housekeeping team, our stay was memorable and we will no doubt be booking another stay at the London property. Cheers to a great team and effort at the Qbic Hotel London, and we are more than happy and ecstatic with our time in London.
C. L.
Everything was cutely designed and efficient. I appreciated the free coffee and trendy feeling. The lobby/restaurant could use a bit of a division between general (lobby) seating and restaurant seating - I felt there was no easy place to sit outside of our windowless room unless I purchased something... but I appreciated the option to purchase a windowless room for a little cheaper. Overall great location and happy to be in a green place.
Y. A.
Quirky hotel with nice big room for the price. If the hotel management is reading the reviews, please consider changing your shampoo. I wasn't the only one in our group who felt that my hair turned very rough after washing. I had to rinse it out hard with water and try another shampoo before my hair felt normal again. I like the plates used for breakfast but the handle on the tin mugs were too hot to hold. I had to let my tea sit and go cold before it was safe to hold the mug handle.
G. C.
Lovely quirky hotel in Whitechapel, our daughter booked this stay for us & we loved it, rooms were very modern & different to what we would normally book, but nice & clean.. friendly helpful staff... lovely breakfast & good coffee.. we will be back soon. Thank you 👍🏻👍🏻
N. E.
Nice hotel, but doesn't really deserve the 'design hotel' status. We booked a room without a window, which was so small we got a bit claustrophobic. When we told the reception, we immediately got an upgrade to a much larger room with a view! Great service! The room was kept very clean. Nice large (maybe too large?!) bath towels.
Staff was really helpful and friendly, the food was good. Underground station nearby the hotel, so great for exploring the city. Area a bit 'rough' but we never felt unsafe. Don't know if we'll come back, but thanks for having us. Overall we had a pleasant stay :)
C. G.
Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were spacious and quirky. Beds were firm but comfy. Shower was good. Staff were attentive.
My only extremely minor point would be to ask for a choice of a softer like in the bathroom for the night time as it was extremely bright.
M. H.
Quirky but good
Food was good and not too expensive
Staff were very helpful too
A. M.
A wonderful hotel, modern, beautiful and innovative. The room design is amazing, only composed by a cubic block. Quite functional. I love the very big bed, with all the control lights and the TV enclosed. Also the graffiti in the wall. Very good and varied breakfast.
G. T.
A nicely designed hotel with all the necessary things to stay a few nights. I liked the environment-friendly approach. It was good that they offered free coffee (not instant or pod, but freshly ground) and tea. The bar and restaurant are fantastic. The service is excellent.
B. A.
My partner and I stayed here for a weekend. We were greeted by a member of staff, and there was a cheeky £50 refundable deposit to pay on arrival that we weren’t aware of before hand. The service was amazing from all staff. The food was AMAZING and drinks reasonably priced. The room had everything you needed. There was a querky decor. It is a green hotel, environmentally friendly. You can hire bikes, there’s a coffee machine and ironing equipment in the hallway. The room cleaning is optional and if you don’t have your room cleaned while you are there you get money off at the bar. Five stars would have been given to this hotel but unfortunately the floor of our room could have been cleaned better and the room has no windows (this was great for sleeping as it was pitch black). This didn’t bother us massively, we understand the environmental thinking of the hotel, but may be an issue to others. Great hotel, great price and definitely worth the stay!
Y. K.
Loved the room with no windows. Perfect for sleeping in.
The AC in our room wasn't working so we got upgraded to a better room for free.
Early check in was provided.
I was worried about the neighborhood but it's pretty safe. And close to brick lane.
d. a.
My stay was better than i expected. Nice room, outstanding bed and great bathroom. They give me a superior one when i booked a standard room. Was a nice surprise.
Staff always up to the task. Free coffe machine so you can save money from the first minute of your stay. Luggage room when its needed. Great location 2 min walking Aldgate east underground station
B. E.
First off, I love this place. The staff is excellent and soooooo accommodating. Our room was a little unusual. The furniture in some of the rooms is a little odd, yet functional.
The food is outstanding. If you eat at this hotel for every meal you won't be disappointed.

Stayed at the Qbic hotel in whitechapel for 2 nights, and was surprised at how cosy the place is, its very reasonably priced for the location and quality and service you recieve.
The room was tidy and clean and had plenty of space to do various activities.
Overall i would recommend Qbic hotel in whitechapel and will be staying there in the future.

We chose the hotel because it is close to our event place. The hotel was ok, food was excellent and reasonable priced. But the design of the room which I stayed is extremely horrible. They chose to hang this image of a size plus lady with a basket of bread next to her, the makeup of her was extremely dark, which looked very scary. I couldn't sleep at all during my stay because I felt like someone was stepping on top of my head. I hope they can do a better job of decorating the room.

1 night stay in room 6 for business. The hotel decor is a little quirky but very modern. For instance my light was a garden hose wrapped in itself. The room was extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable, the toilet was very spacious and a large rainfall style shower with good pressure and temperature. I had the breakfast in the morning which was £11 because I had a room. This includes full continental buffet + 1 main breakfast. Well worth it.
The hotel isn't great to look at from the outside as its just old bricks but couldn't speak highly enough of the staff, food and room. I would definitely stay again. Thanks.

The best 2 parts of my stay here was the price and the people that work there. All the staff were very nice and helpful.
The room was average. There is an odd bathroom and shower set up in a sort of club house attachment to the bed. It made it a bit difficult if you wanted to get ready while someone else was trying to sleep in.
Still, there were Tube options close by, and handful of good places to get a meal near.

My friend and I had a nice stay. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly.
We were unsure if the £5 off our bar tab applied if we decided to have the room cleaned once out of the 4 nights we stayed there.
One feedback I have is to have bathroom doors that fully close. The pod bathroom concept is cool but we could clearly see each other on the toilet if we walked in the room doorway from the hallway due to the large door cracks.

From how easy it was to book a room all the way through to the fabulous atmosphere even in reception I found the whole experience enjoyable. The rooms were clean, comfortable and functional, while the rain shower was a welcome treat. The meals I had in the restaurant were delicious, well cooked and reasonably priced, and the choices offered interesting, even at breakfast. The tea and coffee machine on the floor was a great idea, as was the soft toy to place on the door if you didn't need the room cleaning. The bag store was very helpful to us as our train home was some hours after check out, and even the normal check out of 11am is a decent time. The staff were friendly and polite in every instance that I interacted with them, and we were made to feel very welcome.

My stay was enjoyable. The location and service were good. The bed was wonderful the room was bright and clean. I had some issued with the bathroom amenities, like there were no washcloths provided and the lighting was not good for applying make-up. And I couldn't unpack my suitcase since there were no drawers or shelving, just a small place to hang jackets. But all in all, it was a pleasant place to spend a week in London, and the price was right.

It is a long journey into the city of London. You are exhausted when you arrive. The first minutes decide how you rate the next days. So please : Some service people , a cool drink and a "take a seat" . Rooms and approach like 5 Pounds for a drink sound nice, but I felt not good. If you give something, spend a full drink, please. Otherwise I think , they only try to save service personal and rise the revenue at the bar. The same with the coffee experience on the floor. By the way, there was none on the ground floor. The green approach only saves your money. If I shower on my vacation I would like to do as long as I want. This sound all very critical, but I think you should know how I feel and how you might think of improving. The bed: Good Bedding, but a hard mattress, The bath: nice generous shower, but no space to sit on the toilet. All made of plastic. (How green is this). The room, clean, cosy, clever designed, a lack of privacy in the bathroom. Of course I rated your house with a 8 in average, because in the end I felt good and had a good time.
D. I.
The design is great. The room is air conditioned and has modern furniture and detailing with a large bed with TV at the end. Booked a room with no windows for two adults and a 2 it old and it was great except it's impossible to tell what time it is without knowing when the sun is up. Would recommend this hotel but didn't like the toilet door gap which is wide enough to require your partner gets a free coffee from the machine while you use it. Staff were kind and friendly and helped provide a good stay.
M.
Great hotel, be aware though that a lot of rooms DON'T have windows. I personally don't mind, but I'm only in the room to sleep and shower. Bed is very comfy and bathroom is perfect. There is no minibar or a desk to work in your room. Just the bare essentials. The free coffee and tea in the hallway is a win though. Downstairs is a nice restaurant/cafe were you can chill.
C. Q.
Service is great; we enjoyed very much your kindness!
The bar + kitchen and the room styling is very nice and special. The hotel floors may be lighter and more colorful.
The atmosphere of the hotel is very individual, stylish and it is great to see that you care for the environment.
Taking the Qbic bikes for a ride was fun and gave us the feeling of being local.

We really enjoyed our stay at Qbic. We especially loved the bar, its drinks and food and the staff there. It was great that the subway station was so close to the hotel, this really made for a great base for exploring the city. I liked the quirkiness of the room, but it could use a few improvements like a few more lights in the room.
Also, the fact that there are no coffee and tea facilities in the room is fine, but more often than not the machine in the hall was not working or there were not enough cups, so we had to go to another floor, which felt a bit like we were at a hostel and not a hotel.
J. W.
We really like Qbic, have stayed twice now. It's got such a lovely laid back feel, we were really happy just to hang out in the bar and the hotel. Was handy for the tube when we did go out and about.
The staff were all good. Helpful and smiley.
Last time we stayed in a medium room which was spot on. This time we went for the windowless option. It was just a bit too small. But beds super comfy and that is very important.
We did notice that fixtures and fittings in a few places were looking a bit worn. And the lifts seemed to have a few issues. Although they were sorted out very quickly.
We will be back i am sure 😆
n.
Amazing staff & service, also great place to stay for quarantining/self isolating. Close to the tube & the city. Delicious food & a great bar. Really recommend ☺️

To start with, the hotel was very easy to find and the check-in ran smoothly. The decor of the hotel is lovely, and really enticing. We were upgraded to a room with a window which was a great surprise. The room was perfect, had everything we could have possibly needed. The bed was so comfy and big which was perfect for us. The room was the best layout and the bathroom was really nice. The shower in particular is great. The only thing I could possibly criticise is the gaps in the door when you close the bathroom door. But other than that it was one of the best hotels I've stayed at in London and would definitely stay again in a hurry! Can't wait to come back.

We had a lovely stay at Qbic, located in the east of London, an up and coming neighbourhood with lots of (not so hidden) treasures. Great staff, clean and funky rooms, nice products and I could go on and on!
r. k.
Fantastic stay, awesome hotel on walking distance from the tube.
Price is a bit high but this is as expected from the location, you are very central here and travel to every city hotspot will be a breeze.
Coffee and tea is available on every floor and is free.
The personnel is very friendly and helpful.
There was little to no noise during the night but during the day there was quite some of it but again this is a big noisy city.
The furniture is custom made by a Dutch designer and kind of useless, it does give the room a nice contemporary feel.
All in all I wholeheartedly can recommend this hotel.
R. S.
Very decent hotel. I didn’t put 5 stars because:
1. You need to be very tall to be able to fully enjoy the shower. Some settings are not accessible for short people.
2. The bathroom door doesn’t shut tight. So if you have too make some noises, your room mates will hear you.
Otherwise, nice location and staff.
L. G.
The room was basic but much more interesting than your average budget hotel. It felt like an experience rather than just somewhere to sleep. And the breakfast buffet was amazing! Such a great choice and all of it presented beautifully. I got so upset when I was too full to eat more!
K. S.
I really enjoyed my stay here. Was a good base for a work trip and a long weekend prior. The rooms are efficient but clean and pleasant (and a good size for London), and the downstairs lounge is a nice place to have meals or a drink, or catch up on work. I was impressed with the food and service the entire time I was there.

3 adults and 1 child in London for 4 nights. The hotel was more than we expected. Friendly, helpful staff that made our stay great. I had made some errors when booking the rooms, but luckily this was rearranged by the nice lady who helped us check in. The environmentally friendly theme of the hotel was a big plus. It is a short walk from the tube, and there is many breakfast options near by. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was good, but bit pricey for the adults. There is a kidsbuffet option was really good, with nice value for money. Qbic will be our first choice for further family stays in London.

Different to any other hotel I've stayed at, but in a good way. It's fun and friendly. Aimed at the younger generation, but I didn't feel out of place and was made to feel welcome, despite being a forty something who was staying for business. I love that they're eco friendly too. I'd stay again.
T. B.
Really enjoyed my stay here. The decor of the rooms is not going to suit all tastes it has to be said but it certainly made a change from the usual drab interiors of large chains. Staff were really friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful with a system error regarding my booking. The room itself had everything I needed, the bed was super comfortable and even though I was facing the road it was fairly quiet throughout.
M. B.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Loved the bean to cup coffee facility. Quirky overall. Made use of the option of forgoing having you room cleaned/bed made for some credit at the bar. Having said that, room floor was really dusty on arrival and not cleaned on the day that we had the room cleaned either. But overall a good experience and good location/tube access for where we needed to go.
P. F.
Very modern hotel. Got upgraded to room with window. Very good size for London. Enormous wide queen size or more bed and big bathroom. Now, the shower is bit problem if you don't want to wet your hair so be aware. Nice bar with knowledgeable bartender. Did not try breakfast or dinner but place very nice. Very clean and very attentive personnel.

Overall a great stay, nice people working there and love the green concept. The bed was amazing and the fact that there was no window in the room didn't bother me as it gave it an extra sense of quietness, saying that if you are unlucky to have rowdy people in the hall or in the rooms above and beside you it can be quiet noisy. The bar & restaurant were very nice with nice staff, breakfast was good all though I felt it missed a bit of love in the overall taste.

Very nice hotel, very short staff, everyone is so friendly and thoughtful. They claim to be the greenest hotel in London, and creatively encourage the guests to not ask for cleaning service everyday (there's a £5 discount at the bar when you opt out).
We booked the "fun room", which is larger than regular rooms, since we were with a toddler. It fit us just nicely. They provided a very nice crib for our daughter to sleep during our stay. The maid did not know how to put it together though, but we checked online and helped her out.
There are coffee machines in every floor, and they also dispense hot water, which is of great help for us to prepare the baby bottles with powder milk for our kid. The hallways are a bit narrow, which makes it very hard to go through if you're rolling a pushchair with you.
The hotel is not 100% accessible. There are a few steps you need to go by when leaving the elevators, at the ground floor. We had to carry the pushchair through those and out the door - someone from the staff offered themselves to help, when they saw it. There actually is an accessibility entrance, but when you get there, there's a sign guiding you to take the main door only.
The bed is amazingly comfortable, and the shower is excellent. The floor is a bit dirty though. You can't really notice at first. We only did when we had to wipe out some dropped water off from it. The hygienic paper became dark. There was some dirt hidden in the bed sheets too. But nothing major.
The breakfast is £12 a day if you purchase it upfront, at the check-in. If you enjoy eating, I suggest you take it. The buffet is very nice, with all sorts of breads, cereals, pastries, milks (regular, oat, almond, lactose free, etc), fruits, hams, eggs, bacon, cheese, etc. Not to mention a DIY waffle machine.
The maids don't speak Enlgish very well, but they sure are very kind and humble. They wouldn't take tips unless we begged them to (I had to, since we were with a toddler that would bring them trouble almost everyday).

I had a Nice stay at this hotel. My room had no window which I find very good and was in the basement. The room was clean when I entered. When entering the hotel I was greeted with great enthusiasm by the person at the door. She showed me how to check in and where my room was. I thought it was going to be a very noisy room as the bar was on top of it but actually didn't hear anything! Good sound insulation. The only downside about the room is the very inconvenient places of the plugs and no side table at the bed. Breakfast wasn't included and was fairly expensive but good. All in all I had a very nice stay. Can recommend this hotel!
E. D.
The check-in was impersonal and we felt like a bother asking for help with the iPad. The room itself was clean overall, although the shower-area wasn't so clean and nice. (Especially with a rain shower you'd expect better). We had a room without a window, which was OK but the A/C didn't work below 20 degrees at first. Luckily we found a member of staff who helped us with that. The bed was very soft, so if you have a bad back this might not be the bed for you. Also a bit creepy with the big photos of teenagers over our bed for a couple travelling. The TV was also in an awkward position, and there was only one chair.
The hotel's presentation is an ideological quagmire of "consumer action" tropes, complete with quirky anthropomorphized soap and not-so-veiled ads for the bar.
Mood lighting was a normal light bulb with some garden hoses surrounding it. It was of course a working lamp, but didn't really work to put us in any kind of mood other than confused.
If you don't mind the downsides this is a good hotel in a very central location. The staff was nice, and the breakfast to go was good. Although we both care about the environment this felt a bit strange and too focused on being "hip" and young. If you are younger than 20 and love being in an Insta-friendly environment I'm sure you'll love your stay!

Absolutely loved this hotel!!!! Service was great! Our shower drain was clogged so i brought it up with reception and they changed us to another room with free upgrade from no windows to one with windows. Very clean modern design. Really cool rooms with cool bathrooms and lighting. Massive comfortable beds. Free tea and coffee from legit coffee machine on every floor. Highly recommend!! The only thing that was Wierd were some of the pictures above the beds.

Very comfortable and well designed hotel. Rooms are pretty small, but contain everything you need. Bathroom is basic and rain shower has not got so much pressure, but all is clean. Friendly and warm staff. Lovely designed lobby/restaurant. Central location, underground nearby as well as several busses. Best breakfast I had in a long time at a hotel! Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

A fun, quirky, clean and comfortable hotel. Brimming with character, and lots of cute and novel touches with the decor and general in room experience. Definitely one to pick over some of the close by and relatively characterless chains.

I found this hotel by searching for hotels with car charging facilities. It was a great find.
I booked directly by phone and the procedure was quick and efficient.
Upon arrival i parked my car and checked in and once again the procedure was quick and efficient. My first impressions were how friendly the staff were and how relaxing the bar and dining area is.
The rooms were clean, comfortable and modern. I would have preferred a softer bed but it didn't affect my sleep.
Overall I could not fault anything and it will be definitely be my first choice when staying in London.

My friend and I stayed for 4 nights in Qbic London and we were pleasantly surprised - location was perfect, just one minute from bus station and pet minutes from tube station. Look&feel of this hotel is very good, fancy, staff is kind, bar has various choice of drinks and design is just wow. Room was very clean and spacious.
I definitely can recommend this hotel to anyone who visit London.

We stayed in Qbic hotel London For a birthday weekend treat. If you are looking for a reasonably priced centrally based hotel, look no further.
This is a quirky place to stay, you won't find anything else like it in London for the price. The room we stayed in was an internal room so no window, but it wasn't a problem, if anything it was an advantage. I had the best nights sleep for ages, lovely big bed and so quiet.
The ethos is energy saving and they encourage this throughout your stay, for example, if you don't have your room cleaned on your second day, you are entitled to a free drink at the bar. 😃
The hotel is modern and clean and so quirky, we loved it. The staff were polite and attentive and made our stay completely relaxed and enjoyable, thank you.
I give 5 out of 5 I can't think of anything negative to say.

My boyfriend and I were in London for a week. I had work and he was exploring. The lobby, bar and restaurant are so cute (and instagrammable) and welcoming. The room was very comfortable. The location was fantastic as well. 3 minute walk to Aldgate East Station and the N15 bus dropped us off around the corner which was super convenient when we were out late in Piccadilly. You have to use your hotel key card to get into the building at night and you need a card to use the elevator. As a young woman who travels a lot on her own I really appreciate that security. Will definitely be back.
L. W.
I loved the hotel, and it's funky ideas. The bed was really comfortable, and I chose a room without windows because I don't like street noise and I like pitch black when I sleep, so it was perfect for me. Very comfortable attractive room, and although I didn't get chance to use the restaurant and bar because I was on a training course so ate with everyone else, I will definitely give it a try on my next visit. It looked great, and I checked out the menu, and it had plenty that I could have, even with my many allergies.
A. B.
The vacation was really good. The hotel, the location and the room were all beautiful.
The only problem was that we were given a Cosy Room instead a Fun one and we weren't offered a change during the stay, for what I booked and paid.
The bathroom has no, or very little, privacy. Really good the rain shower.
P. V.
I travel for work on a regular basis - stopping away is not always the most amazing of experiences - Qbic London is a different experience!
You get amazing value, funky rooms and a bar/restaurant area that you can use any time of day to work from.
The food is not your norm, the rooms are not your norm. The team don't make you feel like you're entering a typical hotel. But Qbic brings it all together for a great guest experience!
Highly recommended when in London!
S. G.
I liked the decoration, its' funny. I did not like that the hotel was quite impersonal. I like the intention of being sustainable, but to be honest it looked like that's only in favor of the staff so they have less work to do which cost less money. I don't see it back in the whole concept unfortunately. The location was great and the rooms ware decent, but I really missed having some fresh air. The restaurant felt more like a junkfood kind of bar instead of a nice and sustainable and fresh restaurant. The front desk was kind of chaotic and I did not feel super welcome. That has nothing to do with their friendliness, but it's more an over all feeling. I will contact you trough e-mail, maybe I can be of a help in this case, there it's my job.
D. T.
A beautiful, quirky, stylish and modern hotel. The decor is eclectic and the room furnishings unique. The food is very good and actually offers something different than the standard menu you would expect at other hotels. They boast being the greenest hotel in London and they encourage their guests to be more considerate of your environmental impact without being pushy.
C. W.
Our stay was really good, we had a great time. It's near the Tower of London and you're in the city in a few minutes. The Tube ist just 3 minutes away.
The only negative point was the little space in the bathroom/on the toilet and that you can hear really everything from the bathroom. People should know that if they want to stay here - I was with my partner, so it was ok for us.
But overall it was a good stay and we would stay here again :)
I. C.
The hotel is incredibly quirky, and you spend half the time looking at all the different designs of furniture! The food is amazing, not huge portions, but more than enough to fill you up and send you on your way. The staff were so so friendly, we actually had a chat with one of the members of staff, (Can't remember his name but he said there's a gold letterbox out side his house!) he was so genuine but helpful! The bedrooms were squeaky clean, and the beds ridiculously comfy. The daily quotes in the lift were a lovely touch too. The location of the hotel meant we did quite a bit of travelling on the tube, as everything we wanted to see was a 15 minute journey away. However the tube station was so close we didn't mind, and as we aren't Londoners, we got to experience the tube which was fun! Overall the hotel was amazing, much more exciting and quirky than hotels usually available. I have already recommended you to friends!
M. S.
Small rooms, good shower, comfy bed. I'm not a fan of the style of room, but it does set itself apart from the other hotels.
Buffet breakfast with waffle machine. Reasonable selection, plus the options of a cooked breakfast made to order.
Nonoron or ironing board in room, but a quick call to reception and one can be delivered.
Reception is manned 24/7 which is great.
M. R.
We stayed with two adults and two young children. The location is perfect; located close to the subway, even in walking distance of the Tower Bridge. Staff was very hospitable, friendly and correct. Rooms are clean, spacious and stylish and the bed is large and so comfortable. Overall very complete. The complimentary bottles of water are a nice touch. Also free coffee and tea down the hall!
Parking is priced fairly (which was a notable pro for us) and breakfast is very tasty with diverse items. Also the atmosphere downstairs is very homely. Would recommend this hotel to everyone! Qbic is a great starting point for exploring London.
P. D.
A really excellent experience. Everything clean, design of room and bar areas delightful, staff really friendly and pro-actively helpful - and NICE. Good food, pleasant dining area, attentive waiting service, useful to have car parking, location very good (easy bus travel to City and West End), liked the jokes in the lifts. Double glazing not perfect, but the area facing our room (back of the hotel) was quiet anyway. Can't recommend Qbic enough. Thank you very much.
PS I WAS UNAWARE OF THE FOOD SHARING OPTION

We are a family of three (2 parents and an 8-year-old). The big bed and the comfortable big sofabed for our daughter in combination with a light and airy room were perfect. The breakfast was truly amazing. Our daughter loved the waffle maker and I enjoyed the gluten-free options while my husband savored the chili and other hot dishes. With the location being in Underground zone 1, very close to the station, this was our perfect accommodation for a weekend in London.

Although we haven't spent much time in our hotel cause we've been busy exploring the city, we always liked to come back to this fancy Hotel. As graphic designers we really enjoyed the cool design in general. Breakfast was scrumptious. Good experience :) One advice for improvement: Don't put the porridge pot next to the waffle iron, that can easily end up in a mess ;)
D. B.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Qbic. Everything we think is important in a hotel was in place. Friendly, helpful staff... spotless room... high quality food... relaxed atmosphere... comfortable bed. Add to all this the general zaniness of the layout and the decor of both the rooms and the social areas... and it's a recipe for fun and relaxation. All in all a truly faultless facility in a handy City location... and at its price quite stunning. We'd have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to friends and family. Excellence doesn't come easily in the hospitality sector... Qbic have certainly gone the "extra mile". 100%

I loved staying in Qbic. It feels great when a hotel manages green initiatives without sacrificing the comfort of the guest.. The overall vibe is young and cool. I wish i used the free bikes more, but it was raining pretty hard during my stay. The location is great. Close to the tube and the Brick lane with all the restaurants, galleries and shops. I really enjoyed my stay at Qbic and when in London will stay again.
D.
A fantastic and unique hotel. Great location and super staff. Very fast wifi which is free.
Rooms are brilliant - a good size and a modern contemporary layout, they're also spotlessly clean. Lots of convenient design features. Very cool indeed.

The location is great and the room was clean. The mattress was seriously bad and gave me lower back pain for 3 days no matter what I did. The check in wasn’t good. I had breakfast with my hotel but wasn’t told about what I could and couldn’t have, or what time breakfast was. As a result I went elsewhere. The restaurant looked trendy and I ordered food from the menu for collection, but it wasn’t in stock - nobody called to tell me this so I waited and went to collect where a flustered bar man served every man at the bar, despite the fact I’d be waiting for about 10 mins already, before I had to shout him over about the food. He then said sorry we haven’t made it we have no wings, didn’t offer me anything in the way to compensate me for the time wasted, and I went to bed hungry and dissatisfied.
Wouldn’t recommend the hotel on the basis of a bad mattress and terrible service. Which is a shame because I had really high hopes. Good location though.
J. H.
I deliberately chose this hotel because of its green credentials and for the most part I was not disappointed. The choice of healthy food at breakfast time was particularly pleasing and welcome. To encourage more people to make the positive choice of choosing a more sustainable hotel the price needs to be a little bit more competitive. I will return to London next week and wanted to book into Qbic again. However, it proved much more expensive than other comparable options (ones that were more centrally located as well). This is a shame as I'm willing to pay a premium for a more ethical experience, up to a point! I don't want to feel exploited. It would also be helpful if Qbic could develop an app to speed up the booking process. I did not receive my confirmation email and had to call the hotel. I love the concept and want to be in a position whereby I always stay at this hotel when I visit London.
C. M.
Pleasant check in experience. rooms are pretty funky and nice and clean. Like the design language of the place as well as the efforts being made into being environmentally friendly.
The bar and restaurant area was a nice place to be after a long day too.
I. K.
Will absolutely recommend Qbic to everyone I know. I felt comfortable and welcome and I slept really well which is not always the case for me in hotels. Staff was always exceptionally friendly and helpful with whatever I needed. Food was very tasty and the bar/restaurant area is a nice hangout spot. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again in the future!
A. F.
The hotel has good location close to both bus and tube. The room are "funny" decorated. It was really good beds and very quiet. The breakfast is good but a bit caotic. The staff are to few and the are quite stressed. We were leaving early on Sunday and it was difficult to get breakfast earlier even everything were there. Very little flexibile staff.
V. P.
I loved my stay at this Hotel. I live in Scotland but work on Fenchurch Street and I wish I had discovered this Hotel earlier. The gentleman on reception was very friendly and helpful and made me feel at home. It is extremely disability friendly and they even carried my tray to my room for me as I was worried that I might drop it. The rooms were quirky and interesting and had everything that I could possibly need. The only downside was that the communal coffee machine on the floor kept running out of cups so I didn't manage a single cup during my stay. It's a shame as if the coffee was half as good as the food I was definitely missing out!
B. D.
When checking into the room, there was a lot of noise from building work next door. The hotel is green/eco friendly however there was a lot of noise pollution. Fortunately, I wasn't spending the day in my room. The room was good. Different from traditional rooms found at other hotel chains. The bathroom is a good size, however the shower drainage wasn't very good/it was slow. The service was good when required. For example, there wasn't a TV remote in my room however upon raising this with a member of staff, a replacement was provided quickly. Worth a visit.
R. M.
The hotel is in a good location for the tube and staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfy, a reasonable size with a great bed and bathroom. It was windowless, which was OK but could have been improved with a more ambient light setting/dimmer switch. Good free coffee machine in the corridor. I liked the ecological initiatives too. Slightly noisy air-con.
A. H.
It does everything you need from a hotel and does it all very well, with none of the unnecessary and often expensive fluff that most people never use (like gyms).
Comfortable beds, clean rooms, good showers, good food, good bar range, all covered. Ideal for getting back to at the end of the day and being able to eat and sleep well.
S. T.
The hotel is being renovated but the staff were friendly and They put on free drinks and snacks between 6pm and 8pm. I had to get rooms ermine as there was no restaurant or bar. However, this can quickly and was tasty.
I gave stayed at this hotel before and the atmosphere is really nice. Rooms are a bit quirky and not to everyone's taste. Location is good for city of London.
J. C.
We loved our stay at the Qbic. The checkin is easy and with friendly staff to help you. The rooms are different from other hotel rooms (much more fun to stay in). The bar/restaurant is a lovely place to relax. The location is also great. So we will definitely come back. But first we are going to Brussels to stay in the new Qbic over there!

I chose to stay at the Qbic based on it's green credentials. There were other hotels in the same search radius and price but I felt I'd be cheating myself if I had the option of staying somewhere that didn't wastefully wash my towels & linen during a two night stay and turned it down.
The rooms are sparse (good IMHO!) with gorgeous stoneware in the bathroom. Lovely rain shower, USB charging sockets and filtered water in hygienic re-usable glass bottles.
I was initially disappointed at the lack of tea making facilities in the room until I found out about the free coffee machines on each floor that can dispense hot water into your own cup (I do not use disposable cups, ever).
Overall, I'm very happy with my choice.

This place is funky, so cool and I loved it. I agree it might not be for every but given it was packed everyday, a lot of people like it. Ron the manager and Aisha the bar maid were fantastic and extremely pleasant. Knew you by name, always a smile - from everyone as well. Pleasant, very environmentally conscious and just wonderful to be. Five stars.

Great hotel with everything I needed, but nothing I didn't. The room was comfy, quiet, and had all the little extras like plugs by the bed missing in so many hotels. Food was good and overall very impressed. Some people might not like that the room doesn't have a window, but to me that's a positive as it made it quiet and dark for sleeping. Lots of quirky signage makes for a smile or two as well.

I was fortunate enough to find this gem of a hotel on late rooms, and it has now become my new favourite hotel.
Its stylish retro feel creates a cool, relaxed atmosphere in the bar/ dining area.
I was given a room on the ground floor; I loved the funky individual decor and the super comfy bed. Excellent rainfall shower and nice touches like organic toiletries, funky towel hangers and the uber cute do not disturb dogs.
All the staff were amiable and attentive, and the food was imaginative and well presented, they also have an interesting range of craft beers.
The recommendations I would make are to have either a coffee machine with a wider range or coffee in the rooms.
Loved my stay here. I was sorry it was so brief, and I was unable to try the breakfast buffet,
As a disabled person with limited mobility, the Qbic was a real find, it is very close to Aldgate East tube which has a few stairs but was manageable for me. Wheelchair users would struggle with the tube station. The hotel has disabled access but the low pod design of the bed, a lack of chairs or sofas with arms may prove difficult to manage and there is a step to the bathroom. I am not sure all rooms were like mine as I know they are very individual. from my time of booking the staff were very attentive with excellent communication in regards to my needs and I would recommend that any disabled people contact the hotel, who I feel sure will do everything they can to accommodate the requests.

I spent three nights at the hotel while I attended a course in London. The hotel was well located with several tube stops nearby and plenty of eating places, such as Brick Lane and Spitalfields Market, within walking distance. My room was quiet and spacious, with a really large wetroom/bathroom which I enjoyed. The lighting in the room was rather subdued and it would have been difficult to work or do any drawing in such low lighting, which was a drawback. However, I did like the restaurant/bar area downstairs, where you could sit in comfy chairs and a nice atmosphere. I also liked the machines on each floor where you could make your own tea and coffee. The staff were friendly and welcoming, prices reasonable, and the decor very stylish and colourful. A good choice for a stay of one or more nights.

Qbic Hotel has been a revelation for me.
I happen upon it as I was working in London on an essential contract.
It was quite near the job so thought I'd give it a whirl, and I'm so glad I did.
Being in the capital during the covid lockdown was stressful, but the staff at this place were amazing, couldn't do enough for you and were so friendly and helpful.
This made the experience of staying away much easier and less stressful.
Dom, Asta, Juan and Tom are lovely people, an absolute credit to the hotel chain, the other members that I met were too, but apologies for not getting their names.
Its a really nice place to be too, trendy, comfortable and well placed , but its the people who work there that are the stars.
I reckon I could easily become a regular.
A. R.
Qbic is a great place to stay in. Underground station is 5mins walk away and can connect you to all the tourist destinations. The room is easily big enough for 1,2 or 3 people depending on size of room you choose (even if they may look smaller in pics). Very well designed and space used effectively. They have a safe in the room. Bath products are better than other hotel products - they smell really good. Their green initiative seems successful at no inconvenience to the guest. As soon as you enter the hotel you get a colorful happy vibe.
Any time I return to London, this is where I will stay for sure.

The location and standard of the hotel are fantastic. We didn't eat there and only stayed the night, in fact my hours in the hotel were between 11:30pm and 08:00am so not long, but we were very happy and comfortable during this time.
The check in staff were fantastic and even upgraded our room - that was great of them!
The room quirky and different, simple, yet it felt like something special.
I think the bathroom could have done with another once over by the cleaning team, but I don't note this as a major negative, it just could have been slightly cleaner.
Location and quality were key on this stay and Qbic certainly did the trick.
Hopefully I'll get to stay here again!

Finding the Qbic was easy, checking in a breeze and the staff so obliging and pleasant. The room, like the hotel is a modern, ergonomic wonder, clean, comfy and providing a lovely sleep in a generous lovely bed. We loved the bar and restaurant area where the furnishings are cheerful, modern/retro/stylish/bright and comfortable. Great hotel, so accessible to local tube and lots of wonderful places to eat or drink. Loved it!
D. B.
We enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. The hotel was well priced about $89/n. One of my favorite things was the free drink at the bar for skipping the room cleaning and the free tea. The glass bottle of water in the room was nice too. The staff was nice and very helpful. They offer parking for a charge. The places to eat near by are really good don't be to discouraged because they are small and not a big budget company. Back to the hotel, the beds are very comfortable, the windows open :) the air conditioning works, and the room has a nice TV. They are near a the bus stops and underground subway (Aldgate East).
J. C.
Myself and my partner have been wanting to visit Qbic for some time, given we are both active environmentalists! The hotel did not disappoint - not only were the 'green' room and hotel features fantastic to see and use, the vibe, design, and friendliness about the hotel was lovely to experience! I also think we had a good rate, given the hotel's central location. There's plenty to do in and around Aldgate, which we enjoyed exploring for the first time, and the hotel has easy transport links to Central London.
We will be sure to come stay again!
M. M.
The rooms are small but with a big and comfy bed. Restaurant and bar area was very nice and the food and drinks were good. The service from the staff was not the best at times, but all in all I had a great stay at the hotel and I will definitely stay again and recommend it to friends.
A. T.
Very nice place in an excellent location in White Chapel London. A bit small (but with a spacious bathroom and huge bed), cosy and very clean. Nice friendly staff and good bar/cafe as well. No windows though, and if you are staying for more than a couple of night as we did, you might get a bit uncomfortable. That’s the only downside actually but also I must say you can’t avoid to feel it.
K. K.
Had an amazing experience here for my sisters birthday! Many thanks to Dominic and all the lovely staffs. Dominic really did go above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay. We really appreciate it.
I. M. F.
The location of the hotel is spot on, the room sizes larger than expected and staff extremely friendly. Breakfast is above the hotel average and all in all there is little critique about the services provided. The eco concept adds value to the experience, although the attached bed&bathroom make the noise a little annoying for whoever is sharing your room and it would be great if shower caps were available in the room ad a rainfall shower is lush but one doesn’t want wet hair at each go (especially when the hair drier is iffy and overheats quickly).
F. B.
Nice, modern hotel with bad soundproofing in all ways imaginable. You can clearly hear people outdoors, cars are very loud.
Bathroom door does not close. You have to love your mate very much..
Otherwise a nice hotel in a good location. Unfortunately no one mentioned the renovating while we were booking, we would have probably chosen otherwise. There is not much except rooms now, no lobby to sit, very very small and overfilled reception.
L. P.
Every detail about this place is done with just one thing in mind : making your stay a joyful and easy experience. From the self check-in to the ultra comfy bed and the little doggy serving as a do not disturb sign. Plus the staff is helpful and friendly. This hotel knows how to put a smile on your face :-)
L. H.
A quirky and cool hotel - close to the tube and adopting a laudable green policy of sustainable living. Very comfortable and sound proofed rooms with a relaxing atmosphere. Good restaurant and friendly staff. Price not too bad also. Recommend well.
M. F.
I'm a big fan of Qbig hotel. Staff at check-in and check-out was very friendly and extremely fast. The room was clean and the bed super comfy. The daily free bottle of water came in very handy. Complimentary coffee and tea was appreciated. What I didn't like too much was the rain shower. Since there was no door, the water went everywhere. There should have been a handheld shower head as well. Second flaw: the bathroom door which can't be closed completely. For more privacy this would be helpful.
D. B.
Nice clean hotel. Staff is very nice and friendly. Room is a little strange with minimal furniture, some of the floors creek a little, elevator is a bit old, but I love that they have daily updates about the weather as well as other cute optimistic sayings. All in all, a nice hotel
J. J.
Stayed for 1x night as came to London to celebrate birthday. Location was excellent, with a 2x min walk to the nearest tube station. The hotel was very clean and had a quirky vibe that was young and fresh. Bed was super comfy and great shower too! Def recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the City of London as great value for money also!
E. G. B.
I have been to many hotels in many countries around the world. The room was nice. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day, as I stayed many nights. The towel was changed as needed and the sheets made. The shower was cleaned. There were regions where the shower was somewhat black, as mold was there. It did not smell though. I would suggest to remove that mold, renovate the shower. The green initiatives of the Hotel were nice. The staff was friendly and particularily helpful. The check in and out was easy and quick. The breakfast was good.
J. B.
We just loved the service attitude of ALL the staff we met- mainly the receptionists and the waiters. We never received a "no" answer to any of our requests, including a late, late, check-out. Loved the design of the rooms, especially the light switches- all located together on pod next to bed- easy to find in the dark! Thoughtful touch of "Qbic bottled water" in the rooms. I was concerned, however, about the security of suitcase storage as no one checked what you left or took.
J. L.
A little unsure what to expect of the hotel but our expectations were definitely exceeded. A great start to our holiday as we saw the hotel as we exited the tube stop and then had a hassle free check in (an early check too).
We stayed in a fun room and the size of the room for the price was fantastic for London with huge windows making the room really light (but the heavy duty curtains meant it stayed dark when we wanted it to !). The beds were really comfortable and I loved the quirky dressing table.
We LOVED it!
A. R.
The bathroom in the room was strange, there was no door or anything so it was quite loud. The bed was large and the duvet was nice but it was strange that there was no top sheet under the duvet, only a bottom sheet covering the mattress. The room itself was pretty quiet except for the sound of water when other guests were using their bathrooms or something. Overall not bad, I think I was expecting too much given the price and ranking on hotel tonight.

Our first stay in a Qbic... A wonderful quirky form of accomadation, with a spacious room, clean with great decor and great hotel amenities.
Friendly and polite staff, who checked us in early and even gave a free of charge upgrade from the Cosy Room we booked to a larger Smart Room.
The entrance, bar restaurant were all great both for visual effect and information. We had a drink in the bar, chose some quality local beer and enjoyed a chat I a charming seated area, again very quirky with loads of character... Beats the boring standard hotel we would normally book...
We loved the room, with all the 'up cycling' brought to life with colour and character. The corridor tea and coffee facilities are a great touch, with a trip down the hall to grab a quality cup!
The towels and shower gel were great and the bed was comfy for a good nights sleep. We had air con to get a great ambient temperature and the shower was the perfect way to revive after a night out in the city.
The only thing we removed a star for was the noise throughout the night, noisy road adjacent to us and constant bangs from the corridor... However you can't help both the noises of th city and other guests now! And a comment from the Mrs, a mirror on the desk/vanity area would have made it perfect, plenty of plugs and mirrors in the room but not necessarily in the right area to get all glammed up for a night out!
All in all a quality nights stay, great clean accomadation, with great facilities and a unique atmosphere... Reminded me of a boutique hotel in Philadelphia which we stayed on our Honeymoon...
We will stay here again, great location, close to tube and a great price for such a quirky hotel. A polite and friendly team and our first stay of many of that I am sure... Qbic is a quirky stay that's worth it!!! 👍👍👍

It might not have the most kerb appeal around, but once you're inside this gem of a hotel it's a whole different story. Particularly loved the feel of the restaurant and bar area, and the breakfast was excellent. The bedrooms continued the quirky feel, with the designers making the most of what was quite limited space floor space, and the bed was extremely comfortable.
E. T.
Really nice hotel. Good food, fresh breakfast, cosy restaurant, comfy bed. Would’ve been 5 stars if the doors to the rooms were more sound isolating. We had earplugs so no problem! Could definitely come back.
Z. K.
It is at a quite good location, close to public transport and sights.
The hotel bar looks nice, as well as the rooms, but those are quite minimal - it's really just to spend a night and have a shower in the lego bathroom.
The rooms were clean, the walls were like paper, the heating didn't really work but was loud.
H. M. B.
It was a fun hotel to stay in mainly because of the eye candy and furniture design. It's definitely different from your standard cookie-cutter chain hotels or ruffled-out B&Bs. Very clean, comfortable beds and the staff were wonderful
However, with an edgy and fun theme, there were some usability issues. In the larger rooms, there were no plugs in the bathroom so that when you want to blow dry your hair (or shave) you'd have to do it elsewhere in the room. There were these red strings that were meant to be tugged for emergencies, but they weren't properly labeled for those who aren't immediately familiar with those nuances.
But overall, it was a fun and comfortable experience along with its price. Would stay there again and recommend to friends.
A. H.
I loved my stay here and the hotel's vibe. The service was friendly and people were very helpful. The location is great and right by the station though a bit quiet and scary at night as a visitor. However, I didn't feel unsafe staying here. The cleaning could be a bit more thorough. I know its an eco-friendly hotel but I don't believe my sheets were ever changed during my 11-night stay there. Perhaps there should be a rule that sheets are changed every 4 nights? I liked the availability of free coffee, tea, and filtered water. If its possible to also store some of the water bottles by the coffee, tea area so guests can pick up more water. I drank a lot of water and would pretty much run out by the next day. I would like the ability to pick up more water if it were available to me.
H. R.
Again visiting a business visit to the city of London and staying at the Qbic hotel. The hotel has a comfortable atmosphere and the rooms are tidy and clean. It is however advisable to book a room with a window. The breakfast is good and complete.
Checkin-procedure has changed to a self-service. This makes the 'feeling-welcome' a bit less.
Further it is a very nice hotel, near subway stations and great stay for a night or a city trip.
J. J.
Absolutely loved our stay at Qbic! Great location close to Brick Lane Market (lots of food choices), about 20-25 minute walk to Tower of London/Tower Bridge, and nearest tube station only a few steps away. Loved the room layout, huge comfortable bed, and great bathroom. We will definitely be back next time we're in London!
D. P.
Fantastic we both love the hotel, it's green values, its quirky furniture and pictures. I thought the idea off not having room cleaned and rewarded with drinks at the bar excellent as we where staying 2 nights and at home towels would be used more than once. At first I thought it would be inconvenient tea and coffe not in the room but it was no problem we meet some lovely people whilst brewing up. next time we will use the bikes, we where so limited with our time, this time in London. It was my birthday weekend and we got an up grade so a massive thank you. There's no need to improve the hotel it's perfect as it is.. one review talk about the smelly carpets all I can say is they must have been on there hands and knees as it was fine.. Toiletries excellent loved the smell off the hand soap, shower gel and shampoo wishing I'd bought some off the hotel. Hotel placed in such a handy area for London central, queen Elizabeth Stadium and tube station both myself and partner did not know the area at all or the tube station but we managed well and everyone was fantastic so helpful. The little park across the road is very quaint and with the weather so hot idea to sit out in.
V. B.
Very nice staff but when I checked in late and was told my room was not guaranteed by cc, despite me giving the details on purpose... I was upset. Other than that extremely clean. Coffee machine out of order during the whole stay at level 1 but was ok on level 2, friendly staff, nicely decorated. Key had to be redone twice and when you are at the far end of a corridor you lose time. Small check in at the bar, strange reception desk... But other than that I will come back. The location near tube station , cleanliness and nice decoration makes it enjoyable.
T. K.
I stayed at the Qbic for almost two weeks and was thoroughly happy with my stay. The room was clean, bed comfortable the most importantly, the food was excellent. Breakfast always had a decent array of healthy choices and good coffee.
E. M. R.
The hotel bar and restaurant were closed during our stay, so we were offered a nice complimentary breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable, just what we needed to sleep. It has easy access to the underground. The only thing I would have liked is a few drawers to save my clothes and undergarments during my stay.
S. H.
In many respects a really good hotel. Loved the lobby and bar and restaurant area. Restaurant very busy which is unusual in a hotel, a bit pricey. Go for the small plates which are really nice and better value. The hotel failed miserably on the car parking. I'm disabled and need car park facilities. Could not get back into paid car park as gated and no one answers the buzzer. Had to drive round to front to reception and get someone to let me in. Which isn't great when you have mobility issues. Got to be an easier way. Otherwise would recommend.
C. H.
Fantastic Hotel - love the vibe, the staff are friendly, the rooms are quirky & cool, the food is great - LOVE EVERYTHING!! Great place to stay for work or pleasure, have been a number of times and keep coming back - Tube less than a minute walk away and the city & Brick Lane on your door step.
Really comfortable beds and love the 'Stop the Water While Using Me' product range in the bathrooms. Great quality free tea & coffee available on each floor.
I can highly recommend this great hotel.
See you again soon Qbic.
M. S.
Good location near to the tube and Brick Lane. Large, clean room and bathroom with unique designs in each room. Very comfy bed. Unlimited tea and coffee is available one each floor. Not all rooms have a nice view, one side of the hotel faces onto a park, the rest a car park or a wall. There is a nice cafe bar downstairs for breakfast which may or may not be included depending on your booking. Overall I would stay here again.
K. W.
Really enjoyed the quirkiness of the hotel. Great staff - great location and nice rooms.
Can’t thank you guys enough for the help at check in. We arrived early and asked to be checked in early - non of the rooms were ready yet (as we had a 3 person room). The lady on reception went out of her way to track down house keeping and ask that our room be cleaned next (which is was). Made such a difference to our day - thank you so much.
Beds are super comfy too!!
Thanks Qbic for a pleasant couple of nights.
A. Z.
I like the happy relaxed atmosphere of the hotel, staff is friendly, the decoration is beautiful and homely. I like the quotes in the elevator ! The beds are really comfortable and the room is very conveniently furnished. I love the free coffee in the corridor, it tastes so good.
L. D.
Booked for my 21st birthday as in a lovely part of London with easy links to everywhere and in a lovely location! Wasn't sure at first because it all looks quite dull but as you get close to the hotel the vibe changes.
We got to check in early and there was a lovely clean room with a comfy bed and such lovely decor, then saw a bottle of champagne and a lovely bowl of chocolate cake and fruit it was so lovely!
Staff were lovely throughout the stay and even though we were not at the hotel for long because I was out exploring London they were always smiling and happy to be at work even at 2am, amazing service very welcoming.
The breakfast was amazing 10/10 for options and the buffet alone would have done but the menu is amazing too! All freshly cooked.
100% coming again!
F. H.
Really funky and quirky hotel. Loved the room,it was spotlessly clean, decor was
fab, however room was bit small but suited us. Again the bathroom was bright, clean and the rainfall shower was just what I needed. It's a really central location but we slept soundly, heard no outside noise. Bed was very comfy and spacious. We didn't have breakfast here or use bar facilities so can't comment. The notes attached to the clip boards in the lifts are a really nice idea, gave us a giggle. I had booked a room with no window as it was cheaper but was nicely surprised when there was one there. I hope to visit again!
H. N.
Hotel was very unique and hip for the lack of a better word. Rooms were large and comfortable and the bathroom was also well sized and clean. No complaints there. They were very different in decor though, definitely check out my pictures to see what I mean. Also they are very environmentally conscious which is nice. The bar and restaurant are great as well. Their burger was much much better than I expected. The bar staff aren't too professional though. They couldn't even get me a proper martini. They also have complimentary bikes which are nice. There's also a Starbucks nearby for breakfast and you have access to District and Hammersmith and City via the Aldgate East station that's a 5 minute walk.
B. C.
I chose Qbic hotel because of a recommendation from a couple of friends for my first trip to London. During my 15 night stay, the staff was absolutely amazing. Apparently, my room needed maintenance during this time (nothing I did), but the hotel upgraded me to a larger room for no additional charge. Choosing not to take the turn down service every day, scored me a free drink at the bar as well. All of the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The space between the toilet, sink and shower walls was very small even for a normal sized person. I only have one recommendation, which while I support being pet friendly, have strict policies for pet owners to take responsibility and not allow them to leave pets in their room unattended for 6+ hours during the night, which in turn keep the entire floor awake until after 0000 in the morning. Irresponsible pet owners are the worse, but I do not blame Qbic for the pet owners actions. Overall, Qbic was the best experience I have ever had in my international travels. I will definitely make Qbic my go to hotel for all business and personal trips.
Another thing is that they are located next to Algate East station, 15 minutes walk to the tower of London and tower bridge and loads of restaurants near by.
M. M.
Lovely rooms with fun, quirky decor. Bed was ginormous and extremely comfortable... so much so that it was a bit dangerous, because I didn't want to leave it. Ever. ;-) Perhaps the best feature of this hotel was the incredibly friendly staff. More than just being helpful, there were also quite engaging and funny. They made me feel right at home and sent me out the door smiling.. All in all, I would give Qbic my best recommendation.
C. L.
My experience at this hotel has been beautiful! I really enjoyed it ! All the staff is great, kind and friendly! The breakfast was very good and there was wide selection of food! The room was great and I loved the Naturalmat mattress, it is really comfortable! I've found all the environments very clean. Congrats about the free bikes service that you have, I enjoyed it during my permanence there! I'm sure that I will come back as soon as I can! I strongly recommend it to all the people who want to spend lovely days in London!
D.
This is a great hotel with a great location. The rooms look fantastic, staff is really friendly and this hotel thinks about the environment. The rooms are very clean, the complimentary coffee and tea is great. We didn't use the free bikes, but liked that this was an option.
Unfortunately the food and drinks are a bit overpriced, but except for that we really enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely come back for our third stay!
A. G.
We really fell in love with the Qbic hotel. It was a much more unique experience than staying at one of your generic chain hotels but for a similar price. The room had everything you needed for a comfortable stay, great choice of food and drink and some really cool features and facilities such as being able to rent a bike. The green initiative of offering bar credit if you ask for your room not to be cleaned that day is also fantastic, more hotels should adopt it!! We will definitely be staying here again and recommending others to stay as well!
R. L.
After staying here, I will have to be persuaded to stay at any other hotel in London. Especially at that price. The concept is brilliant. Great design and layout. Ultra comfy and super clean room. Bar and restaurant very relaxed with great food and service. The common areas make you want to hang out there, even if you are on your own. Unlike most traditional hotels where you want to stay in your room.. Location has lots going for it and easy to get anywhere else in London.
D. M.
We had a great stay at the Qbic London! It was in a great location within walking distance of Brick Lane and Shoreditch. The room was great and had a very comfortable and large bed! The furniture is cool and the shower was great! The complimentary toiletries were also really nice.
We just had 1 small problem where we could hear the noisy pipes every time the room above us flushed the toilet! It wasn't enough to keep us awake but may have disturbed lighter sleeper!
M. C.
Staff was great and very helpful. Our sink in the bathroom didn't drain any more; we mentioned that to the staff and in the evening it was already fixed. Try that in France! One could wait a week.
The bathroom was a bit getting used to. No door for toilet so all the 'sounds' were heard by others in the room, also the shower was open so wet floor around toilet/sink after taking one.
A minor detail on the breakfast: few items weren't replenished so it was first come first served. But after eating a delicious 'English Breakfast' one doesn't need a lot more...
Everything else was all very very good. Especially the cozy common room with sofa's; games; ... very nice
Will definitely stay again..
S. E.
I loved this place! They promote less waste, along with saving water. The staff was absolutely amazing. They were so very kind to us. I rated 4 stars because of the room we received. It was on the first floor and right by the street. Outside, during the night, we heard homeless people fighting. And the free coffee machine was right outside our room. The beds were mostly uncomfortable. I'd recommend this place to heavy sleepers!!
J. B.
The hotel itself was cleaner and better equipped than I thought. The next building is under construction, so it was inconvenient because of the noise and vibration, but it was okay because the hotel changed the my room. If there is something to be desired, I want to have a small table and a chair in the room. And I want to know when the deposit I pay upon check-in comes back into my account.
S. G.
Solid rooms in a unique location. Some loudness and questionable people in the neighborhood. Pretty sure we saw a drug deal outside our first floor room. Appreciate the green initiative, but some minor tweaks are needed for safety in the rooms (having the step into the bathroom cube is awkward). Food was good in the morning, not great at night. Better, more local menu would be great too.
K. V.
We really enjoyed our stay at qbic London! Staff was friendly, room (and especially the bed!) was comfortable and the breakfast was the best we had in town. Furthermore, I was impressed with the sustainable thought, which was why we booked in the first place. Finally the location was really good with easy access to the underground and the price was reasonable for London standards. We will definitely visit again!
j.
My husband and I stayed 3 nights in your lovely hotel. Staff were friendly and the whole ambience of the place was very pleasing. The rooms were well aired and had great air conditioning to help with the warm nights. In the bathroom there was plenty of room to move with an excellent shower and free shampoo and body wash. The bed was so comfy and overall the room was chic and quirky that added up to a lovely stay. There was a coffee and tea station on each floor which was good but sometimes on a night was not replenished and the machine needed emptying so no hot water. The cups were not insulated so needed two cups so I could carry them back to the room.Next time also I will ask for two key cards as every time I went out the room my husband was sat in the dark if I took the key to get back in when I left the room ! We has a wonderful stay and plan to visit again very soon.Thankyou.
M. D.
A great property. The rooms are a bit quirky, but the space is used well to provide a larger amount of room for the price. Snacks and coffee in the halls are a really great offering too. All in all, it's one of the best hotels you'll find near the heart of the city for such a great price.
L.
One of my favorite hotels EVER! I've stayed at Qbic twice now and they never disappoint. Cute, functional rooms, very friendly staff and the food is beyond delicious. It's a very quiet hotel, close to the center and to the London city airport which makes it very convenient as well. This is definitely my go-to hotel in London and I can't wait to come back soon.
S. W.
I travel to London a lot with work and this is my favourite place to stay. Easy access to the tube, and a stones throw from amenities and Spittalfields/Shoreditch areas.
Rooms are great, very quirky decor and the whole place has a very relaxed vibe about it - and I think you need an oasis of calm if you're working in the big smoke.
J. T.
Convenient location to walk East London or otherwise take the tube or bus elsewhere. Spacious room with a comfortable bed and lots of green conscious efforts being made throughout the hotel. We know the area pretty well so didn’t need help from staff, but saw them offering advice to other guests. Would happily stay again, especially if the hotel’s green status continues to maintain high standards.
C. W.
Fantastic hotel! Room interior design was great, staff were very nice, bar area looked amazing (we didn't eat there on this occasion, but may do next time).
Our room was upgraded free of charge per chance which was a lovely surprise - the bed was super comfy!
Will be returning again!!

We had two rooms at Qbic for 3 people. Overall, my family loved the hotel and really appreciated its quirkiness and fun initiatives. The style was fun, the beds were comfortable, and the location was perfect. We all appreciated the fun messages and personal touches. At times though it felt as though Qbic had skimped on essentials: the rooms needed a touch more cleaning, particularly the AC units, and the shampoo was very poor. Despite this, we all really enjoyed our stay, and especially given the fantastic location in what has recently become a super pleasant, trendy area, we would all recommend the Qbic Hotel, and we plan to stay again. If Qbic can step up it's housekeeping, they have a real winner on their hands.

Awesome place to stay! It was a last minute booking for an evening event in the City - so convenient, somewhere to park, very warm and smiley reception from the outset. Quirky decor throughout, raises your spirits even in the lift. Room was brilliant, made us laugh; bed was VAST, made us sleep; shower was ... wet, made us clean. Can't imagine staying at a traditional hotel again.

The hotel is in a good central location. The check in process was fast and easy.
The room was well decorated and clean. Free coffee and water in the hallways was a nice touch.
Good location of the sockets on the bed frame (and i also think they had an international plug aswell!). Also a hair dryer included.
Not one complaint to be had. Pleasant stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Qbic. First, there were some problems with our room, but it was solved very quickly by the super helpful staff. Loved the breakfast and thought that the bed was really comfy. Also, it was very quite and the sustainability approach is very nice with instructions on water savings etc. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others, it is very clean and offers great value compared to other hotels in the same price range.
F. B.
Very good value for money, spacious guest rooms, good atmosphere at restaurant/bar, interesting breakfast with some vegan options (more would be even better). Water pressure in shower is limited, no views, TV is not of great quality.

Clean hotel and room
The room was lovely, Cumfy bed, enough pillows. Very smart bathroom.Had to rush off, so didn't have breakfast, wish I did, everything looked tasty.
Would definitely stay there again
M. L.
Employees are very accommodating. Rooms are simple, and hotel is green friendly. Also pet friendly! A very forward thinking style of hotel. The hotel restaurant is also better than average. Modest priced rooms, close to a tube stop. Would stay here again the next time I'm in town.
P. L.
Great place to stay if you need somewhere that's good value whilst still offering a bit of fun. Friendly staff, amazing breakfast and a free drink at the bar each day if you don't get your room cleaned! :)
Free tea and coffee making facilities are good, albeit shared, rather than in-room, but when I enquired about the possibility of obtaining a kettle, late one evening they kindly provided one in my room the very next day!
Not sure about the jazzy headboard in the room, though.
V. W.
Close to tube and just about everything else. Rooms have a funky design and there is a very nice lounge / eating area. Rooms are large but finding a place to put your clothes can be a challenge as there are no drawers and only a few hangers. Wifi is very good. Breakfast is good but only a handful of warm items to choose from....... mostly pastries, and cheeses. Staff is awesome!
P. S.
Far, far better than other budget alternatives in London. Don't be put off by the location - two Underground stops within 5 minutes walk will get you to most places in London very quickly, and there are loads of buses. 5 minutes walk to Lahore Kebab House - just go, and get the lamb chops, and thank me later! Our room was quirky and bright and a far cry for the bland snore-fest of most similarly priced hotels. Massive comfy bed, great rain shower. The hotel has a definite hostel-feel; it is aimed at the young, but certainly not to the exclusion of others. We liked the little extras - if you choose not to get your room cleaned, get £5 credit at the hotel bar, for example - happy days! Free bottled water in the room was welcome, too. We had the continental buffet breakfast, which was basic but nicely done - homemade granola and fruit compotes being the highlight - and in a nice relaxed dining area. The Mayfair it isn't, but if you're looking for a good value, fun place to stay in London, you can't go far wrong.

The stay was great apart from a disappointing experience at breakfast on the final morning. To be honest, it was really disappointing to have our trip close with such a poor experience. I've worked in hotels, bars and restaurants so I know first hand that it is not the type of experience that should be considered acceptable. Regardless of that, I would not hold that as a representation of the hotel itself and would like to think of it as a one off.
It's the second time we have stayed at the hotel and I would definitely consider staying again the next time I am in London as I think the facilities, design, location and staff (mostly) are all fantastic. Keep doing the good things you do! There are so many little details that set you apart from other hotels. Hope to come back again one day, but hope not to have a poor experience at breakfast again.
Thanks for a mostly enjoyable experience
A. F.
Great place to stay, quirky rooms that are clean and fresh. We stayed in a no window room so the air con was on all night which was noisy but bearable. Staff were polite although at times alittle lost. We asked for a table for Dinner and the man said just take a seat. 5mins later we had to go ask for menus. 5mins later the waitress came over with menus but then told us the kitchen wasnt open till 5..... Waste of time due to lack of communication.
K. B.
What a fantastic find! The location was exactly where we needed to be with tube stations and bus stops minutes away. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was happy and relaxed. The room was amazing, funky, wacky and fun but loved the green aspects. Didn't get to try the food as we had other plans but did sample a few drinks in the bar! Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else now and hopefully won't be long before we're back again.
E. B.
We had a wonderful time at the qbic. The hotel changed ..... we liked it very much before but I seems to have improved even more. We like the ideas about deciding whether you want to have your room cleaned or rather head for a free drink at the bar, the drinking water you can get for free, even coffee and tea, the healthy food, not to forget the quinoa muffins for breakfast, the clean rooms and comfortable beds. Thank you! We did not like the self check-in and the lady who helped was not too friendly.
A. T.
Although the rooms are basic, they’re perfectly well put together, spacious and always immaculate. Fantastically comfortable beds guarantee a great nights sleep.
A few minutes walk from Spitalfields and Shoreditch, it’s ideally placed for all that’s exciting in the area.
Just hope you don’t get one of the rooms with the girls on the wallpaper behind your bed. So weird.
M. R.
We were really surprised when arriving at the qbic hotel. Nice location, friendly welcome by the staff, nice restaurant with healthy food and a nice interior.
But the room was a disappointment. Too small and compact. Almost no room to put our stuff. The bathroom is in a qubic what makes a corridor between bathroom and the wall. This gathers so much dust and is impossible to clean well. This gave us a not very clean feeling in the room what concerns the floor.
The compactness of the room implied also no sidebed table which made me put all my stuff in the dusty corridor next to my bed.
F. A.
This is my third time at the QBic and it is absolutely my place where to stay in London. I always come for business and this is why i would have a bigger desk in the room but at the moment I also enjoy the common area where to stay but because of music and people it is not good for telephone calls. I would thank Jihad that is always so gentle and welcoming every time I come as well the reservation dept that is always proactive in replying. It is a great hotel, sooms are very confortable and quiet. I always choose the room with the window because I could never be ina room without it . The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Great Restaurant and bar service. Rich breakfast
M. B.
I do like the Qbic way, we slept well, the location was good and we enjoyed the stay. Some of the hotel staff members were inexperienced some really great. It would have be nice receiving a introduction of the rooms "Handy". We weren't aware about until the last day, would have liked to use it more but weren't told about it. Food is ok but leaves room of improvement.
We will for sure coming back, the price is ok for London and the rooms design is nicer than the average London hotel
B. M.
I stumbled across Qbic when trying to find somewhere fun to stay for a girly few days. I was drawn to green ethics of the hotel and the colour scheme of the website really caught my eye. The room itself was perfect. A really good size. The bed was AMAZING. We were on the ground floor so it was really noisy but for the time we were actually in the room it didn’t matter much. There was a sign in the room that said if you put the “do not disturb” dog (yes dog) on the door you get £5 off your bar tab? We didn’t enquire about it but there was no other instruction about how to claim it.
Overall lovely stay and would definitely recommend to friends and family!
N. W.
We paid the same price as we would in a Travelodge, but got so much more. Really good prices. And a bar which doesn't feel like a hotel bar. Perfectly clean. Spotless everywhere.
H. N.
I loved the design of the hotel! It's the most attractive thing on it. But I liked everything about it too. The only thing I have to complain is about the heater because it was not working properly.
M. M.
The rooms are small but with a big and comfy bed. Restaurant and bar area was very nice and the food and drinks were good. The service from the staff was not the best at times, but all in all I had a great stay at the hotel and I will definitely stay again and recommend it to friends.
A. R.
Qbic is a great place to stay in. Underground station is 5mins walk away and can connect you to all the tourist destinations. The room is easily big enough for 1,2 or 3 people depending on size of room you choose (even if they may look …
G. F.
Really liked the quirky room & relaxed atmosphere. The position was ideal for my trip & just a short distance from the station. Overall very good value for money. I’ll be back.
L. W.
I loved the hotel, and it's funky ideas. The bed was really comfortable, and I chose a room without windows because I don't like street noise and I like pitch black when I sleep, so it was perfect for me. Very comfortable attractive room, …
C. W.
Our stay was really good, we had a great time. It's near the Tower of London and you're in the city in a few minutes. The Tube ist just 3 minutes away. …
J. M.
It was not easy to find a wheelchair-accessible room and hotel. But at the end of my search was the Qbic. I am so glad I found this hotel. As I liked the design very much and the food was even better. But a socket in the bathroom would have been nice for the hair dryer. And the rain shower I loved!
r. c.
Great place, modern and quirky but do refreshing and clean. An artist has put their touch all the way though the hotel. I only Docked a star for the receptionist's English was hard to understand. They have these cute "Do not disturb" teddies you hang on the door, which earns you £5 off the bar that night. I just wish they sold them too. Staying here you won't be disappointed
A. K.
This really is a great hotel. There are some hotels that try to be different and it comes off as trying too hard but this hotel manages to do it with class. It's not different for difference sake, it's different down to the small details. Everywhere I looked there was something that made me smile. It was comfortable, clean, the staff were great, more than great in fact. They went above and beyond.
I have two small gripes with the place. 1 there is no plus near the desks. 2 the restaurant was clearly very good but this is where it did come across as trying too hard. The menu was difficult to read and there were a couple of things about my meal which I didn't like.
The bed was really comfy and the towels were the best of any hotel I've stayed in. I would recommend it to anyone and I will definitely stay here again.
A. A.
Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Nice, easy, clean and overall a good experience. Comfy bed. Bathroom ok, a bit noisy. Has a sliding door with a gap and without a lock, so don't expect the full privacy feeling. Nice towels though!
A. G.
We stayed three nights at this hotel for the first time. It is well located near bus and underground stations. The rooms are really cool, spacious and well designed even if the third bed [of the triple room] could be better [could be a real bed]. Check in and check out was really fast. Everything was OK but two small things:
- we didn't know about free bikes available
- we didn't appreciate staff did not explane about the green initiatives; we left the teddy bear outside one day but we did not go to the bar the same day [we didn't know and the note on the wall was not very clear] and the day after a staff member said we couldn't get the drink. The time was up. We contributed to the green initiative, the hotel had less costs not cleaning our room, but we had nothing in return. Not very fair.
That said, the first experience has been positive and I consider to come back when in London again.
B. S.
The large room was indeed large, with a huge window (not trivial in London). Uniquely decorated. Great service, super efficient although there's no reception. The restaurant which serves as a lounge is lively and serves good food.
P. H.
Good service, and relaxed atmosphere. Good level of Covid safety in place. Room was comfortable but the double glazing could have kept more of the noise out!
R. E.
REALLY good value for money. We were really surprised at how high the standard was for the great price for such a central spot. Rooms were really lovely, super comfy beds, great shower. Just fab. Booking again for in a couple of weeks time and recommended Qbic to loots of friends already. Nice one!
H. D.
Friendly service, good rooms. I like the idea that you get a free drink at the bar when you don't change your towels the next day. I don't really like the interior and it had a bit of tear and wear at some spots. Overall pleasant experience
G. G.
We booked the room without a window and were a little worried it would be claustrophobic... we were delighted the room was much larger than anticipated and the little design quirks made it a very pleasant environment. the lack of window and the massive comfy bed ensured we had a fsntastic nights sleep ready for busy sightseeing days the following morning.
Both regular and vegan breakfast options were very tasty. Location was much more conveniant than i expected we Would definitely consider this hotel for our next trip to London
A. M.
When I arrived to the hotel I learnt that this is the greenest and most eco hotel in whole London. My room was super big, I loved the decor and the cube style of the bathroom attached to the bed. Little smart touch everywhere, someone thought this through really well. Love the free coffee station, ironing board station, quick self check-in, and the breakfast is superb!!!!! I can’t highly recommend this place. Will be back! <3
L. B.
Qbic was an amazing hotel experience. The design and green features were fun and convenient. The restaurant was delicious, especially the breakfast and drinks! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only improvements would be adding access to sports/ gym facilities and slightly more clear communication/ directions for how to order at the restaurant.
V. O.
I came for work. This hotel feels really nice, the rooms are quite big, and have a very original and funny decoration. Unfortunately, I came when they are refurbishing their restaurant, so it's not available at all. In exchange, they added on every floor a very small space serving food, which I'd say it's not enough. But this will be temporary until they have their restaurant ready. I'm eager tp try it next time.
N. W.
Really enjoyable stay in a stylish hotel which boasts a very individual feel and atmosphere, alongside comfortable accommodations. A lovely ethical ethos as well. Great location for access to central London from the east, and can't be beaten on price and service. Highly recommend
S. K.
I booked at Qbic because of the really great features they offered on their website. Such as complementary breakfast (due to reconstruction), free bikes (which I didn't use at the end, because of the bad weather), clean rooms and a great location.
They didn't disapoint.
There's are coffee/tea maker on every landing, which is a really nice touch.
The room was clean and everything worked fine. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Even though there was a renovation going on, it didn't really bother the guests.
The Aldgate East Station is right across the street and so are a couple of stores, banks, cafes and restaurants.
Brick Lane is close by as well. There you can get great curries (I even found a few vegan locations along the way, which were great) and explore fantastic street art.
S. W.
I booked a room for my husbands birthday. Loved the central location. Room was ok for price, upgrade made it better. Parking cost reasonable. Would I return? Yes although next time I'd be aware rooms are sometimes a little awkward for space as furniture/bed pod aren't always the right fit for the room. Quiet, comfortable and with polite staff though which, given the price and location, is more than enough for me to recommend.
A. M.
Decent affordable hotel for London, but my room had a strong smell of dirty water and the towel on the bathroom floor was wet. Other than that the start are extremely friendly and helpful and the bar/breakfast area had a lively atmosphere.
A. C.
This was my first time in London and I am glad we booked our trip with Qbic, the service was excellent and quick. We received our key right away and I through out our stay the staff was super friendly, it felt like they treat their guests like family. The hotel rooms have a lot of characters and they are both hipster and very environmentally friendly. I also appreciated the convenient location, we could go anywhere in London with the tube and buses just at few steps from the hotel. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family and will use Qbic again next time I go back to London.
G. T.
This hotel was perfect! The bed was comfy & the room was layed out very well. The hotel is right by the tube so access around town was very easy. The staff was top notch. Overall a great hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Quirky, modern, eco-minded hotel, close to tube/transport links. Good sized room, comfy bed and nice shower/bathroom pod. Breakfast was tasty and had plenty of options. They even do cocktails! Great value for money.

I came in July with my daughter and I loved it. This time, I came for work and two of my collegues joined me. They loved it too... the price is a bit higher than in July, but still reasonable for the quality of the place and of the location.
I love the Green atmosphere, together with modern, clean and cosy rooms.
The bar and restaurant are great. You don't need to go out for dinner or drinks.
Check-in and Check out are so easy that one feels at home !
A. J.
One felt right at home from the beginning. Nothing is more important to me than friendly, helpful staff. And that is what me and my friend got, from the beginning. I looked forward to having something to eat at the bar/restaurant because I was treated nicely and got very good coffee.
The rooms were nice, great to relax. The furniture was modern and hip, I don't care that much about stuff like that but it was interesting. I loved that sower.
The only downside is that I CAN be a bit louder because of concerts taking place in the night life of London, but that's something the hotel can't control of course. Only lasted to about 11 pm max. usually.
All in all, I want to stay at Qbic again, please - maybe next time in Amsterdam! :D
L. B.
Love the hotel concept, design and price. Great staff, really value the upgrade when I get one. No suggestions for improvement, which is unlike me! Clean room and the beds are so comfy. Thanks for another great stay!
G. R.
The one improvement that I was unable to specify, but would be great to see is a TV in the bar area playing sport (ideally football). We would have liked to of stayed in the bar all night, but ended up going across the road to a pub to watch the football.
Overall great hotel, which I would highly recommend and will be returning to next time I'm in London for work.
C. S.
I really like this hotel, I live in Dubai and always stay there when I visit London. It’s right next to the Tube, walking distance to Liverpool street and just a really
Cool place to stay. The rooms are quirky, clean and comfortable and you just know exactly what you’re getting from every stay. The price is very reasonable and doesn’t fluctuate too much. There is always a discount code flying around which makes you feel like you’re getting a good deal. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place to stay for a couple of nights.
M. S.
I stayed here for two weeks and felt after that like home. Interesting cozy room, lovely staff and nice wine choice at the bar. The area is vibrant and just 8 minutes walk to the City.
T. R.
The room was lovely, and very quirky though it overlooked a building site which was noisy in the mornings. Staff at reception were all very helpful and friendly. The restaurant and breakfast were great and I loved the fact that it's an eco friendly hotel. It was a really good overall experience staying there and I would stay there again.
K. L.
The hotel has a funky design which you will notice from the photos in any hotel booking website. The decor is what caught my eye and convinced me to book. Reality was slightly different. I'm not saying it wasn't a good hotel I simply mean that you can get a better one, with a room, more space and a bathroom door, for equal or less money than the original price of Qbic rooms. If you can wait and see if rooms are available last minute they usually drop their prices a lot 2 days before the booking dates which make this an affordable option. We ended up changing rooms twice because the first had a broken tv and mysterious green flashing light which made it difficult to sleep. The second room had an industrial dryer because they just finished painting and they didn't mean to give us that room. Our final room was ok because I could at least walk comfortably around the bed to the bathroom but it didn't have a door. The Free tea & coffee at the end of the hallway was also broken so there went the free amenity. Something to keep in mind: windowless rooms also don't have a bathroom vent so all smells linger in the room for a while. Would I stay here again? No. Was it bad? No. I just know I can find better for cheaper.
T. P.
Decent sized rooms, fantasticly eco-conscious, and a mattress like no other. Amazing nights sleep for zone 1 at a fair price. Only negative - check in was tediously long, 20 minutes at midnight is not ideal, because the staff member seemed very undertrained which caused a queue of people wanting to check in very late on. Lovely breakfasts on offer though.
C. M.
We stayed at the Qbic hotel for one night for a concert at the Alexandra Palace. The location was great for this as the hotel is close to the tube. Straight away we loved the design, the lobby has a real wow factor and this continued when we saw our room. We stayed in the fun room and loved the space and design. The bed is very cleverly designed with power points located for charging phone, laptop etc. The bed itself was so comfy and as our room looked out on to a side street there was no street noise, a bonus for London!
The bathroom was again a fab design and super clean! The only criticism was the shower, which design was great but lacked power.
Overall, we loved our stay at Qbic and will definitely be returning on our next trip to London!
Y. F.
Nice and clean hotel, free coffee, tea, hot water on every floor. Great location, metro station is 1 minute, next to the Whitechapel Gallery. Tastefully furnished. Loved the funny quotes in the elevator. Breakfast was amazing, wide range of food, freshly pressed juice. Overall, I was really satisfied of everything, had a really nice time in Qbic Hotel. Green initiatives are really cool!
A. F.
The coffee machines in the corridors are one of the best thing I have ever encountered in an hotel. I hate kettles in rooms, and the coffee is SOOOOO music better from your machines. The rooms are light and practical, not too small and above all clean. Mine needed a little maintainence but nothing that effected my stay (Just a wobbly towel rack). The location i'd perfect and having the park opposite is a real added extra.
The idea that you can help the hotel run a little greener and get rewarded for it by drinks at the bar is genius, and adds to a real sense of wellbeing during the visit. Keep up the good work.
J. B.
This hotel is very unique and nice. I've stayed there for 4 days for work with my electric vehicle. I needed a secured parking place with an EV charger.
They have both the parking and the charger where I could park my car safely with no worries.
The hotel offers free coffee and tea from their own coffee machines in every floor.
You can ask for a free drink at the bar if you decide not to have room cleaning service which is really a good idea I believe because almost every hotel in the world appeals to the guests to help the environment with no reward.
The location is also very good for tourists since the underground station is very close and the tower bridge is just 15 mins to walk. There are many restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
J. S.
This Hotel is located very close to a tube station which takes you either Downtown or to the London City Airport within a short time. Very comfortable beds and quiet room. The employees are very friendly and helpful. I appreciated the free tea/coffee/water. There are funny antedotes in the Elevators, which helps start the day off with a smile and they change often. The breakfast could have had more variety and if it's not included, it's quite expensive for London. But the Hotel itself has a Price that you can afford..
C. T.
From the minute UI walked into the hotel, I liked the alternative feel. The room continued this theme. I only stayed a short while in the hotel due to an evening event but I loved the relaxed feel to the room which was modern and very clean. Great wet room.
The whole experience was modern, classy and relaxed. I would definitely stay there again.
P. S.
Qbic Hotel is fashionable and modern with a great location. The staff are professional and relaxed, and the room I stayed in had two huge windows and my own toilet and shower. I came here because I had business to attend to in the local area, but also because I was in desperate need of some time off from my home life. Had I not stayed at Qbic, I would be worse off. I am so happy to have found this hotel and I plan to return in the future when I next need some breathing space/when I next need to be in East London. Thank you very much for your services.
M. “. M.
You really get a good value for the price you pay at the Qbic Hotel. It's different to all I saw until now in terms of Hotels. The rooms have a lot of little lovely details in terms of design. The bed is really good quality, also the shower an the rest of the bathroom is very nice. The lobby is really nice to hang out, do some work. The best thing of all is free WiFi. Also the breakfast is rich for 7.50. On every floor is a coffee machine offering complementary coffee or tea.
A. C.
Nice and comfy eco hotel to stay in London, near the the tube and a lot of services around till late night. Breakfast is above average. The rooms need a deeper cleaning on floor and courtains, there is a lot of dust there. The bed sheets and towels are pretty clean. Overall, is a great place to stay, and it's dog friendly!
K. T.
We loved it here , the rooms were very modern and quirky . The staff were very polite and helpful with check in taking roughly ten seconds. Brilliant. The hotel had a really cool bar down stairs, needless to say we had loads of cocktails! We would definitely stay again no doubt
I. H.
The room was nice.
The reception was not helpful on the check out when I asked to get different name on the invoice.
somehow the price turned out to be much more expensive!
And the room was right up a construction site which meant that If you are staying during the day there was so much noise coming from there.
Overall the room were nice
K. G.
Unique rooms, environmentally conscience, good location. Comfy bed, great nights sleep. Would definitely choose this hotel again and try a different theme room too!
E. L.
A fabulous, quirky hotel in a superb location. A great atmosphere. The place just makes you smile. Amazing staff, who really do customer service. And the most comfy bed you'll ever sleep in. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
M. C.
I decided to plan a solo adventure to London and picked Qbic because the price was reasonable for one person and I loved the the decor and location. You can't beat around $100 a night near Shoreditch for a super nice hotel. The staff at check in was super nice. They offer to hold my bags until my room was ready, but eventually let me check in a couple of hours early, which was great since I had just gotten off an 8 hour flight from Texas and needed a shower. When I realized I lost the key to my suitcase lock, the front desk sent maintenance to my room to cut off the lock. The maintenance man was really nice and gave me a few recommendations for London. Most of my time was spent exploring the city but one night I did hang out at the hotel bar. Patrick and Michael provided excellent service and chatted with me until the bar closed. I will most definitely stay at Qbic the next time I'm in London and I highly recommend them.
D.
This hotel is absolutely bursting with artistic thought. The bar is quirky and just above are the dim lit hallways to the rooms.
The rooms were spotless and just as artistic in design as the rest of the place. The room I was in had a huge bulldog with sunshades on printed on the wall.
Great value for money and the customer service was outstanding.
E. L.
A little bit too cold in winter because the AC was badly placed and only heated up the entrance. Not enough places to sit when you're 2 or more. The bathroom felt a bit cheap, but it was fine! The design was very neat. It looked really cool. But apart from that the room was only mediocre.
G. P.
Great hotel, great location. Didn’t like the fact they don’t have a reception but it works for them.
Room had a massive pic as a background to my bed which was uncomfortable.
I would definitely stay again. Breakfast buffet was really well presented. Staff were very friendly too
P. P.
so I've been to a lot hotels all over, but this was one of the more friendly, comfy and well location:ed ones. Like for instance the guy in the reception on the morning of our check out, he had seen to it so the kitchen had prepared some breakfast sandwiches for us to bring as we checks out forbidden early in the morning, or Maby to late in the night ;)
Loved every staff we came in contact with. The amazing comfy bed. And the location. Thank you loads... and.. I'll be back!
S. R.
Took advantage of a great deal for reopening. We were made to feel very welcome by the team and had an all round enjoyable stay. Rooms were cool and comfortable!
G. K.
Good location, close to Aldgate east underground. Very pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. We felt very welcome.
Extremely unusual decor! Very quirky, but fun, great way of recycling objects.
Lovely comfy bed. Nice easy to use shower in wetroom. Large, lovely fluffy towels. Very clean, reasonably priced hotel.
Liked the free tea/coffee machines and the fresh bottled water available.
Ideal for a short stay.
Thought the breakfast a bit overpriced as it was only a continental buffet, did not include cooked items, but you could order individual breakfasts at separate prices.
Would definitely stay again.
D. S.
Loved this place. Amazing trendy but compact rooms, that make great use of space. If you're staying in the city for a night or two, then this place comes highly recommended.
Probably not great for visitors from out of town, unless you're visiting an event in that part of London as there's not an awful lot for tourists to do in this area.
G. D.
From the moment I stepped inside the door I was made to feel welcome by the staff. No hassle check-in is very refreshing, especially after a long journey.
The open atmosphere of the bar and dining area is very modern and relaxed, again the staff are very responsive and welcoming.
I especially liked the room, which was very clean and tidy, well above the star rating that the hotel has currently.
Thanks for a great experience at Qbic.

Qbic was the perfect option for us visiting Friends in London over the Holidays without wanting to compromise on location or price. Bed was very comfy!
The windoless room can be a bit claustrophobic but we’ll know for next time. A bit of aditionnal storage place would of also been appreciated.
And maybe a door for the bathroom.
But great ambiance. Super cute restaurant / dining room downstairs. A very good budget option for our future visits.

Really welcoming, with a cosy bar/lounge and SUPER tasty breakfast. The room was certainly different, and very comfy. The whole vibe is very informal, almost like a nice Ibis run by youth hostel staff. It's a great concept and deserves to succeed.
M. A.
QBIC is centrally located to the underground, near stores and shops, and is a great place to stay. The rooms are lovely, free coffee was welcome for a lady who had spend far too long in an airport, staff were responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend them!
G. B.
It was started with a warm welcome, the staff were happy and very helpful, the room we had was fantastic, such a great modern feel to it. The bed was huge and so comfortable we didn't want to get up the next morning! We had an evening meal there and I can highly recommend the food.
10 out of 10 all round, fantastic!

Love the staffs! They're super friendly and helpful. Good selection of board games available in the lobby. A good way to socialise. The rooms are clean and neat. Everything is awesome! Will definitely come back! (Probably coming back in July 2017, any special discounts for a loyal customer?) ;)

A refreshing change to the usual hotel experience, but not giving 5 stars as you don't have tea/coffee in your room. Instead there's a communal area which is fine, but for those who need a coffee as soon as you wake, not great. The breakfast special of scrambled eggs and salmon was one of the best I've had.

Previously living in London I now travel back for work. There I need a place that is close to the city but also near my old friends in east london. This hotel is in the perfect spot for it.
The design and self autonomy of the hotel makes it's good for busy people.
The hotel rooms interestingly designed and the beds are good (firm).
Didn't get a chance to eat but the menus and breakfasts look good. They have a waffle machine.
E. G.
My 23 year daughter and I stayed for 3 nights. We adored the place for its unique design, its green character, the food, the staff and its proximity to the Tube and Bus stations. Looking forward to coming again.
G. L.
Qbic is the only hotel I frequent that gives me what I need, instead of what I want. And I love it for being so efficient and no-frills. I got a very bright room, a very comfy bed and that's it. But hey, in London we are, you are not supposed to spend time in the hotel to begin with. If you really need to unwind a few minutes, the bar will of course provide you some good help. Overall, I still have to find a better offer for my money in Central - East London, so I continue to happily come back here!
S. O.
Nice comfortable bed very cosy. Trendy room and bathroom comes with all the amenities soap shampoo towels iron ironing board. Staff were really friendly looked after our bags before checkin was open and after when we checked out and had time to kill till we left the city. Helped us find a taxi and the staff remembered what were in the city for and asked if we enjoyed our activities, it's a nice touch when staff care about your stay.
P. H.
Very happy and would recommend.
Comfortable bedding. My seven year old had a made up sofa which was also had very nice bedding.
Breakfast is fantastic. Cosy bar.
Starting look a little tired since my last visit but still extremely clean and very homely.
Will certainly visit again.

Fun and quirky decorations are just the beginning of a great stay in this modern hotel. A large room with a great king size bed and awesome rain shower bathroom were enjoyed greatly. Attentative staff were available 24 hours. The loan of Handy (a smart phone for calls and navigation) is a genius idea. Every hotel should do this, it saved me so much in data on my phone (which in turn saved me lots of money.) It also allowed us to be much more independent, free to roam the city without fear of getting lost. I 100% would return to Qbic. This location, Amsterdam, or any other location they open in the future.
A. G.
Loved the hotel. Location was a little out of the way, nearby park was a little scary to walk through after dark. Great facilities. Loved the free tea and coffee, room design, bathroom. Stayed two nights, but room wasn't serviced in between. Not sure if it was meant to be given the hotel's green credentials which appealed to me. Would stay again and recommend to others.

The 3 of us stayed in Qbic for 2 days. The staff is amazing! They are super helpful and even advised us on this cute Sunday market in Brick Lane which we of course visited. The bar/restaurant area is a place you really want to hang out after a day strolling around the city. It is super cosy & stylish decorated. You feel like home immediately. The room we had was specious and ok for 3 people. The bathroom area was unfortunately not really clean and a little bit outdated. Hopefully this will be better next time, because I am sure we will return because of the location, staff and bar :)

We had a great stay at the Qbic. The location is excellent, as its right opposite Algate East tube station, Whitechapel Art Gallery and very near to Brick Lane etc. The hotel was perfect; spotlessly clean, friendly staff, great breakfast (though we didn't try the buffet, as it seemed a bit overpriced compared to the rest of the menu). Our room was quiet, beautifully chilled by the much needed aircon (32 degrees outside!) and the bed was very comfortable indeed. We liked the eco elements too, such as opting to leave our room unchanged for the second night. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable and we look forward to booking again soon.
N. F.
One of the nicest and best hotel we have ever been.
The staff is very kind, the interior design is absolutely incredible.
The breakfast is amazing.
Location is great, small supermarket and a Starbucks one minute walk.
Very comfortable and cozy rooms.
Just all the vibes and atmosphere is perfect.
If you had any doubts about that place, so don’t.

We enjoyed very much our stay at Qbic Hotel in London. The location was really handy, walking distance from Liverpool Street Station (which goes to the airport) and other undergrounds, so very well connected to every part of the city. The Hotel was very modern and new, we love the design and how funny and eco friendly was. I love the bathroom, the bed and the towels super fluffy! The staff was also very nice and helpful. The only thing is that the room was a bit small but it didn't matter to us, it was totally worth it for the price. I will highly recommend it.
J. C.
Really lovley little hotel/eatery. Has a very modern feel to it, and staff were very plesent to me and the others I saw during interactions.
The space itself is a bit unusual. The Frount of house feels much closer to a restaurant's than a hotel. Which had me doubting if I was in the correct place when I first arrived. I say this as the first thing you are likely to see when you arrive is the eating area, full of tables, with a nearby bar which also hides the kitchen area. From what I gathered there were plenty of people eating there and not staying at the hotel. This area also has two side areas which contain a small office like space and a conference room. Depending on which room you have you might have to walk though the "food court" to reach your home from home. For me it felt a touch odd pulling my suitcase through people enjoying their meals.
The room itself was very spacious. Featuring a couch, bed, and a pod like setup for the bathroom. I was a bit disappointed to find no ironing equipment, but didn't ask any staff if their was any on site. My biggest issue with the room was it was a touch dark. When the sun has gone in and all the lights are on the lack of a central ceiling light became apparent.
V.
The Qbic surprised me a lot. I originally booked it because it was a good price and near to where my friends and I were going to a party on Saturday night, but when I got there it was one of the coolest places I have stayed in. The decor is just really well done, and the free tea/coffee in the corridor was a lovely addition. The staff were all really friendly, and overall I can't fault the hotel or my stay at all.
G. T.
Fantastic hotel! They're environmentally conscious and friendly, and offer a free drink at the bar if you clean your room yourself during your stay. The decor of the rooms is modern and quirky, but also cosy. Reasonably priced for London too!
R. S.
Qbic Hotel London City is located very nicely, nearby an underground, some really good restaurants and a great market! The staff is really friendly, no problem to help you with store your luggage, recommendations of a restaurant etc, great people! The rooms are big, clean and decorated fantastic. The only inconvenience was the bed.. the mattress was to hard.
One tip for the cleaning staff; it isn't necessary to get new towels everyday. It saves you the work and costs involved, and mother nature will be greatfull too :-)
M. S.
Very nice atmosphere. Very nice to come back and relax after a long day visiting London. I was there with my fifteen year old daughter, we both felt at ease so we stayed some evenings in the hotel, and that saved us money.
I recommend it to everyone including young fresh wheelchair-dependable people. It was completly disabled proof without any compromise to the design.
N. H.
Breakfast was amazing, the bar area nicely furnished, but the rooms were just a bit too bare for me. Don't expect the sofa bed in the large room to be suitable for anyone other than a small child. My 8 year old found it too uncomfortable, but suited my 4 year old (mainly because the massive dip in the middle meant that he rolled into the center and not the edge). The other pull.out bed we paid £25 for was a very thin mattress, and wouls not have been comfortable for anyone other than a pre-teen. The bathroom really needed just a shelf or ledge to put our toiletries, I really don't like putting them on the floor!
r. c.
Great place, modern and quirky but do refreshing and clean. An artist has put their touch all the way though the hotel. I only Docked a star for the receptionist's English was hard to understand. They have these cute "Do not disturb" …
C. B.
Needed a room last minute late at night, this place was the cheapest so went with it. Pleasantly surprised. Easy enough to find, helpful front desk. They're doing some building work so the ground floor wasn't the best first impression, but the room was absolutely fine. Clean and tidy. Would stay here again.
S. D. H.
Super cool design hotel. Eco friendly and hip. Inspiring quotes in the elevator that make you smile. Very close to the subway. The only negative thing is that the toilet is not in a different room, but only in a cube in the hotel room. So it might not be ideal to share a room with someone if you need much privacy.
S. B.
From the minute I walked in, I noticed the pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. The room was pristine, the bathroom sparkling. I stayed for about 2 weeks and I really enjoyed the stay. They have the cutest do not disturb signs, stuffed dogs.
C. R.
Not bad for what it was. Location was fantastic. Make sure you are friendly with the people you are sharing room with as it doesn’t have much bathroom privacy. No hot water first night in shower- but fine the rest of the time. Clean. Comfy bed. Aircon. Good wifi!
M. A.
Our room was great, very stylish. Bar isn't extortionate like some hotel bars are. Brill to have good tea, coffee and hot chocolate from machines. Only gripe would be that our room was freezing which didn't seem to be solved by swtiching the heating on.
A. V.
The room is spacious and clean, modern hotel very confortable. Close to the City of London, but the neighborhood late in the night is not the best.
Design hotel which welcomes you with free wifi, self check in (assisted if you need). The price is quite good compared to the hotel in the aerea. A good place to stay
E. H.
Rooms were too small, the bed was all of the room. My room smelled like toilet. The bathroom size was ok but kind of weirdly place in a box :/ breakfast was good, a little pricy for my taste. But stuff was nice, they helped me out when I needed
M. S.
Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would recommend your hotel to friends. What I was missing were: 1.) the gym/fitness, 2.) kettle to make tea or coffee in the room, 3.) iron in the room, 4.) small vanity set would be handy, too (toothbrush/toothpaste), but that is really a minor issue. 5.) I missed a handheld shower head (rather than the fixed overhead one) - it is not only a matter of convenience but (speaking of eco) it also saves water as you can aim it where you need ;)
Also, I would much rather prefer a secure WiFi with password rather than an open WiFi
T. M.
The room was just next to the foyer and the hotel staff kept the doors of the corridors open. That gives us noises until 1am everyday :(
Also the friendlyness of the staff was very inconsistent. Don't store your luggage while waiting your room or after your stay, because anybody can ask for "their" luggage and take yours :(
M. D.
The hotel has a winning combination of comfortable and quirky. All the staff we met were really friendly and helpful. Location was great for easy access to Tube but plenty to see and do on the doorstep. Will definitely come back to the hotel if I come back to London.
E. S.
The whole experience was very good from start - check in was super quick thanks to the online nature of it which I have not used before but was very efficient. Check out similarly quick and easy. The room was great, had everything I needed but the only drawback was I chose a room without a window and on a few occasions it felt a bit claustrophobic. Would recommend to friends down on work or holiday as the hotel is a short walk from the metro or around 20mins into the centre
D. W.
Great initial stay, so stayed again. Novel styling throughout and friendly and pretty cool team members. Only slight downside on 2nd stay was room 111, which sounded like it was next to the laundry as a washing machine spin sound went off throughout the night. Would not stop me from staying again though. Think offers great value for money.
S. D.
This nice little hotel offers a great variety of healthy food on the breakfast table. Rooms are nice and functional, but be aware that smart rooms doo net have a window, are good value though. Fast wifi and exellent Lounge and Restaurant make up for it. Staff is really great and helpful.
L. B.
Great quirky little place. Self service check in, nice bar/restaurant. Really liked the design and intimate feeling of this place. Great little find for a work trip at the Tobacco Docks. Would definitely use again.
L. R.
Nice new hotel in an amazing position, very close to the city center, in a walking distance from the brick lane and the metro station. The room is very clean, but , to save some money, i booked the one without windows, and this was an mistake, because there was a lot of humidity. So i liked the hotel, but i raccommand you to choose the rooms with windows.
G. R.
First time in London and a colleague recommended this hotel for work, it was a good location with about a 15 minute walk to the office. My son also had a week off from school so I brought along my wife and son as well so I can work and they can spend a vacation. Hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location was good as it was only a couple minute walk to a tube station. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends.
A. S.
We were told to leave our towels on the hook if we wanted to reuse them but both days they were replaced by new ones. And we also put the teddy bear outside the door so say we didn't want cleaning of the room but it was done anyway. So I don't think you are so green as written on the information board in the room. That's a pity since I appreciate to care for use of water and detergents and also it disappoints me since you advertise you're a green hotel. But friendly staff and very serviceminded. To expensive breakfast when you get full breakfast on the other side of the street for 6 pounds.
A. W.
We had a lovely stay, the room was a good size, the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was good. The hotel is situated nearby an underground station and there's lots to see within walking distance as well. We will definitely be returning!
F. K.
The best hotel I've ever stayed at. Period. If you care about environmental friendly considerations and are into Hipster design this is your best bet for a stay. And if not - you still get a good bang out of your buck. If you are around I absolutely recommend to stay there. Even the cheap rooms without windows are awesome (see my pictures).
R. W.
Really lovely place. Nice atmosphere. Love the whole “don’t have your room cleaned, have a beer” thing! The room layouts are quite different too, the bedside socket/switch panels are super handy.
s. f.
Really brilliant concept hotel for the ethical consumer. Didn't stay overnight but sorely tempted. Was stopping for coffee and some work. Really welcome the corner room, forgot I was in whitechapel. Friendly service and they have gone to a lot of effort to make this work
R. G.
Best hotel I've been so far in London. It's so clean and smart and fun. I love the location, it's so easy to find and to reach nice places and shops. Morning coffee was perfect and drinks at night too, the bar/restaurant area it's really nice. Can't wait to visit you again !
k. e.
Cool, modern hotel that’s very well run. Good food, clean rooms and in the restaurant you have a relaxed, hip atmosphere that the business travelers also seemed to dig. In the mornings it was fun to see the buttoned-up business men and women sitting at one table with the bed-head styled, plaid-clad hipsters, all enjoying the Qbic twist on the English breakfast.
N. E.
We were disappointed to have been given a smaller room than the last time we attended. With a 2 year old the last room was better for our family. It was also nice to have access to the tea and coffee facilities on the floor, but on the ground floor there didn't seem to be any. A few niggly problems with plug sockets, flashing lights and the the bathroom but we like the hotel decor and location.
j. o.
I loved the theme of the hotel and how different and quirky the decor is, it's really fun! Immaculately clean rooms, welcoming staff and of course, the green initiative. I could go on and on about the positive experience we had at the hotel; cannot fault it. I would highly reconmend this hotel to friends and family.
A. L.
Check-in was a little disorganized and the restaurant was under renovation, but they made up for it with free drinks and snacks in the evening and a free continental breakfast in the morning. Room was very interesting. Bathroom had a sliding door that didn't really close all the way, so if you're concerned about privacy I might find another place.
L. S.
I would just say the cleanliness of the room needs to improve and should be top priority. You should want and should feel comfortable getting into the bed or walking around the room barefoot. One day when we got back we found a cleaning detergent left behind in the bathroom. Doesn’t seem professional.
M. J.
Sustainability YES! Good location and great neighborhood. Big minus: the toilet facilities in the room is very...open.
And I'm not hanging my towel next to the decorative (used) toilet plunger. yrk!
s. s.
The bathroom door was very difficult to close or open, maybe broken. I told it to the reception the first night, but the problem remained during the entire stay.
waiters a little bit confused ( room's number wrong so 45 min. for having the meal, it arrived different from the order. too much time required on saturday and sunday. coffee "espresso" not good.
Homeless in the street behind noisy in the early morning.
Good design, nice room,
S. H.
We are very pleased to have found the Qbic Hotel! It is a funky little place, just a stone's throw from Aldgate East Tube Station, so it's very well-connected to all the sights and sounds of the 'Big Smoke'.
Our room was very generous in size for a central London hotel. We had a king-size bed, which was extremely comfortable and a sofa for serious lounging. The bathroom was huge! We were on the 4th floor, and despite the fact the hotel is in the middle of a very noisy and busy part of the city, we did not hear a sound! A peaceful night's sleep in the centre of London is possible! The whole place is really quirky and modern in design, as you can see from the photographs on the website.
The staff were very friendly and helpful at check-in and check-out.
The price is unbelievably good value for money, especially in our capital city.
We will be back!
M. B.
I was happy with my stay at Qbic with my husband. I liked all the efforts to be environmentally friendly, and the location was very close to a tube station (Aldgate East). The decorations were lovely and trendy. The food was great, and we were glad to have free Wi-Fi.
A few things I disliked were the pillows (they were a bit lumpy, not fluffy), the bathroom door not shutting in a very private way, and the price of the hotel not including a complementary breakfast.
M. M.
Great hotel, if a little quirky.
Modern, friendly, clean, comfortable.
Some rooms don't have windows but all individually air conditioned.
No tea and coffee in room but a machine on each floor which is free (various types of tea bags and filter coffee.
Bed great, got a good night's sleep.
2 mins walk from East Aldwych tube station. Judge amount of diverse restaurants within a few mins walk, Brick Lane 3 mins away.
Continental breakfast was really good, good range. Cooked items available but pricey.
K. H.
I just love this place. Smart check in, amazing staff, cute rooms with a very impresive design. Is so near to transport and you get easily everywhere in London. I totally recommend it !!! Quality/price - best option.
M. E. (.
Very weird, small but very nice room with one of the more interesting bathrooms I've seen in a hotel yet. it's really Central and depending on the room, you'll have a nice view on the park close by. Not even a 5 minute walk to the next Subway station.
N. F.
Qbic really is my favourite place to stay in London. I love the whole Qbic concept and think that other hotel chains have so much to learn. It feels homely and relaxing, and there is great attention to detail. From the funny quotes in the lift to the sensitive service in the restaurant and bar, this place really understands making your stay relaxing and comfortable.
I love that Qbic does not have the generic and sterile appearance of most hotels and that it is great value for money. Parking is a huge bonus (and free bikes - fantastic!) Although it is not located in an area I regularly go for meetings, I am happy to make the trip because the service and facilities are so good.
I cannot praise this place highly enough! My only request would be, can you open more??
N. D.
If you are looking for a fresh, young hotel with excellent service, this is the place to be. The hotel is located nearby an underground tube station and bus station, you are in the center of London in less than 15 minutes.
Our room was perfect, clean and big enough to dance around. The bed was one of the best we've ever slept on!
We will certainly come back!
A. B.
Qbic is a wonderful hotel the rooms are clean and spacious with a nice modern design and unlike a lot of hotels for the same price in london it was a wonderful stay. The rooms were well soundproofed and had an excellent nights sleep despite construction happening just outside.
The shower was quickly hot and with good pressure and the bathroom was large and well lit.
I would strongly recomend adding the breakfast to your stay as the food is delicious for £10 a head you get the full buffet and and one drink and breakfast item of the menu, definitely worth it with some of the items on the menu being £7 after the breakfast didn't feel the need to eat till dinner.
Very accessible with station east Aldgate being just across the road, it's a well connected station and we never has to change lines getting everywhere quickly.
K. G.
Good hotel, the room was nicy decorated and the breakfast was varied and delicious. Underground station within walking distance, and the added nice touch of getting a free drink by not having the room cleaned during your stay is very thoughtful.
T. A. V.
As always, Qbic delivers to my expectations. The only negative is the elevator is freezing cold while moving like a snail in syrup. Would be beneficial to let guests know where the stairs were so it could be more frequently used. Since Qbic is all about the environment, less use of the elevators would save power. ;)
J. S.
We've stayed here a few times already and we loved it every single time. Super friendly and helpfull staff. The rooms and beds are amazing! The bar/breakfast area is very cosy and awesome to hang around in. Breakfast is delicious. And last but not least, the hotel is very well located. Close to the Tube, Brick Lane, Spitalfields and a few excellent bars and restaurants. Highly recommended.
K.
We were a group of 6 people staying 3 nights for a reunion event nearby, and so we tried Qbic, being conveniently located. The thing that really made us remember the hotel was the staff. Not only were they very friendly, but they were also very relaxed and calm. The way they greet you when you come in, or go out, also made an impression on us. And the bar area was a great place for us to chill out and start our day with a few beers.
R. M.
I really loved the location. A one minute walk to the underground and so much to do in the area like Boxpark and Spitafields market. Tesco express on the other side of the road and some other places to get food. Loved the fact you can get complementary coffee and tea on the hallway all day every day. It was also the best bed I have ever slept in in a hotel! The only thing I actually didn't like was the rain shower. It takes me hours to get the shampoo out of my hair with that and that wastes a lot of water. It would be nice if it was combined with a small showerhead that you can take of or anything like that but that really is the only thing I can find! We had a room with no window but the air circulation was great. The staff also is very lovely and helpfull. I would highly reccomend this hotel to others and actually I already did so I hope they will stay here. It really made our experience of London even better!
D. M.
Excellent hotel. Easy check in/check out. Room spotlessly clean with a really comfortable bed and pillows. Nice shower room. Only slight downside is the en-suite floor slightly creaks making getting up in the night not as quiet as it might be! Nice park right outside the hotel and easy walk to Aldgate East tube station. Would definitely stay here again.
A. S. o. L. o. T.
+ Great idea, love the eco-friendliness. Quiet, peaceful, clean, well organised, well designed, well laid out, easy to navigate everything, easy check in and check out, great bed, nice shower, close to Tube and parking available. Fairly priced and well thought out in all ways :-)
- Restaurant staff need a bit of training to match the rest of the hotel.
A. S. B.
Perfect and we always come back here when we are in London and have recommended our friends to stay here as well and they loved it as well! Breakfast menu could improve to when we first had the breakfast of champions menu where we could order items from the menu. Having a hot buffet is not appealing at all as hot food lying about for a while doesn’t taste appetising nor does it look appetising either.
K. O.
I arrived at 9pm that night, i was greeted by a lady, she was so helpful. My room i loved, it was small but loved the layout of it. Its exactly what i needed that night after days of travelling and running around. Ill definitely be back :)
M. V.
My room was a little bit not too spaceous. Not sure how to operate the TV as the remote control was no where to find. The bed is very comfortable though. The breakfast is great and very attentive staff.
J. H.
Positive: Friendly staff downstairs. Inviting food. Healthy choices. Fun decoration. Inspiring quotes and photos. Fast WiFi. Spacious rooms. Comfortable mattresses. Free water and coffee. Close to the Tube.
Less positive: Stressed-out housekeeping girls. No shelves in the bathroom. No fitness options.
N. S.
Loved the design of the room although it was a little tight for my liking. Although the restaurant was being refurbished there was a suitable breakfast available (pastries were cooked well). Only gripe was that I didn't realise I booked a room with no window.
E. D.
We've stayed at the Qbic a few times now and it is always perfect for what we want: great location with excellent transport links, lovely staff, calm quiet room, is clean and fresh, has comfortable beds that are big enough (we're both pretty tall) and great prices. We sometimes toy with the idea of staying elsewhere but it only serves to remind us what a gem the Qbic is.
M. T.
Stayed here three times and will do again. Great location for where I am currently working and positively different to other hotels in big cities. Great breakfast choices too :)
I. D.
The hotel is in a good central location. The check in process was fast and easy. …
R. K.
Great hotel in many aspects but the fan in the bathroom made a lot of noise in the bedroom, couldn't turn it of, it really messed with our sleeping. Great gimmicks don't make up for bad sleep unfortunately. (easy fix though?)
R. M.
My daughter, my grandson and I had a very good stay. We had nothing to complain about and I think we'll
come back. The room was perfect for us and the staff allways was friendly.
J. B.
This was the second time to stay with you and enjoyed the stay. The problem with heating on the first floor was unfortunate. We were offered and unsolicited discount which was really appreciated. The food last September was better than this visit. We both agreed we would visit again.
D. M.
I just felt very well since the very beginning. Air, space, art, architecture and good taste where with me all time long. Really appreciate. The attention of the stuff was simply grate.
L. S.
Comfy and well appointed
Great service and when I didn’t like the first room I was offered staff were very quick to offer me an alternative that was exactly what I needed.
Was in the area to sort some things out so didn’t use the place much but was extremely functional without being intrusive - basically did what it said on the tin - would recommend
S. K.
Me and my partner were looking for a modern hotel with a quirky design, close to the city centre. We were impressed with what Qbic hotel offered and it exceeded our expectations in both design and sleep quality.
A. C.
Everything excellent; service, comfortable rooms, good location, eco friendly. When I return to London definitively I repeat.
K. T.
This was our third stay and it didn't disappoint. We were attending an event at Tobacco Dock so we were perfectly placed for a short walk to the venue. The rooms are clean and quirky with everything you need. The bar is relaxed and cosy and staff very helpful. We haven't eaten in the hotel as there are some great independent coffee shops across the road and a great Korean around the corner but the free bean to cup coffe is a perk although it can be a mission to find the machine closest to your room ( no drinks facilities in the rooms) we will definitely stay again as we value knowing when we arrive we will be faced with a clean cosy room.
N. D.
We loved the thought that had gone into the room - the pictures, the furniture, the helpful labels on the light switches (why don't other hotels do that?!), the bed. The only negative point would be that it is quite weird being in a room without windows. But we knew this when we booked, so I'm not complaining :-)
S. W.
I love everything about it from the funky, eco-friendly rooms and friendly staff to the amazing value breakfast and quirky messages everywhere. I did hear a bit of traffic noise from the street but the bed was so comfy I still managed a good sleep. And so affordable for London to boot! I'll be staying here whenever I need to stay in London from now on.
j. s.
I felt welcome and everyone of the Staff members that I talked to was very friendly. The bar+kitchen has very good food and a nice enviroment which made us choose to eat there alot. The room had everything we needed, alot of mirrors which we liked! The bed was also very Nice to sleep on. The only think we were missing was a conditioner, alternativs for the shower (so you can take it down if you dont risk wanna shower your hair and two small towells for using for the face (now there was only one) and we would loved if there was a small fridge. We loved our stay!

An amazing, quirky hotel very close to central London. Stayed for 1 night in a windowless room with 'amazing rain shower' and king sized bed; it's safe to say that the rain shower really was amazing and the king sized bed was the comfiest I've ever slept on!
Only thing I would say is it is a fairly late check-in (3pm) and an early check out (11am) however this would not stop me from recommending this hotel to anybody.

My husband and I stayed for 17 nights when we relocated from Sydney to London. The hotel was spacious for the price, conveniently located to transport, restaurants and supermarkets. All the staff were very helpful. Due to the long stay it would have helped to have a mini fridge in the room.

We loved our stay at Qbic Hotel! The hotel is well situated, in a cool neigborhood with plenty of small lovely cafes and nearby subway stations (Aldgate East/ Aldgate). The hotel decor is preppy and original, staff friendly and helpful. The room itself was well designed: comfy bed, plenty of space to move and put your luggage, cleanest bathroom. The hotel was also very quiet (although rooms were occupied so that means good sound isolation)! Wifi worked particularly well! We also had the chance to test the hotel restaurant: good quality-price ratio.
Although the bathroom was very clean, there was a disturbing smell of sewage in the room after using the sink... Maybe this is worth checking, especially as spring and summer will come and the heat might increase the problem!
We hope to stay at Qbic very soon!

Very nice rooms, practical and cosy. Loved the free coffee and tea machine on our floor ... and the coffee was good too ! Staff was pleasant enough. Nice breakfast buffet, though would have appreciated freshly squeezed orange juice. The location of the hotel is great : convenient for tube and buses to central London and close to City for business meetings. Good Turkish and Pakistany restaurants in the area. Walking distance to the Tower of London and London bridge. We loved our stay at the Qbic, and look forward to coming back !

Loved the room, service, design, location. Will happily return, it’s great value and a very comfortable, convenient experience. Only problem: our room was in the basement and there were signs to free coffee and tea but there was none to be found.

We stayed at the Qbic Hotel for 4 nights during June. It was a lovely experience! Perfect location with an underground station just by, lovely staff, wonderful breakfast. We did find the breakfast a bit expensive, however, and opted for eating at some of the lovely cafés just a few minutes walk away instead. We did try the breakfast the last day, however, and it was definitely tasty!
Our room was lovely - we had one of the rooms with no windows, but that wasn't really a problem. Wonderful aircondition, and we didn't really stay there except for sleeping. There were a few problems, however. There was no door to the bathroom, which we thought strange, and there was a high pitched noise that made it difficult to sleep. That led us to be reassigned to another room, which did have a door to the bathroom (thankfully), and a less prominent, high pitched noise. It was still annoying, but much less so that before.
The service was wonderful, however! Our first night the neighbours wanted to play loud music at 3 am, and the staff were wonderfully supportive when we asked them to quiet down, several times. We similarly met no trouble when we asked if it was possible to change our room because of the missing door and the weird noise. They were also prompt and polite when serving during breakfast.
Overall I would definitely stay there again :)

Great vibe to a centrally located and eco friendly hotel, with great staff and good sized comfortable rooms. Breakfasts very good and nice bar/ sitting area .
Love the championing of ECO friendly ethos , children loved the super fast WIFI, we’ll be back .

Nice hotel, very modern and clean. You check in using the tablet devices, and you get a key card for your room. Our room was downstairs, it was a little bit of a maze to find it, but once we did it was very nice. Spacious and modern with a king size bed. We had a TV, Aircon, a table, WiFi, somewhere to hang our clothes and all soaps and shower stuff. There was a bottle of water and glasses on the table. There were plug sockets and a USB socket next to the bed, all the lights were controlled at the bedside. Only criticism was the only mirror was in the toilet, and no mirrors anywhere else in the room. It was 2 minutes walk across the park to Aldgate East underground station. We would definitely stay here again.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were pleased that it looked exactly like the pictures on the website. We' were greeted by a very friendly staff who did their very best to satisfy us. The room was just great and we loved the free coffee and tea service. It's really well located (only a couple minutes from buses and the underground) and close to Bricklane and Spitafields market. Well, let's just say that we had a total blast and we'll sure be coming back!

Good experience, nice staff, nice rooms, nice good nice place.
Would come back. This experience wasn't quote so good as when I stayed the first time but still feel very at home in Qbic. Nice warm shower, everything you need.
Absolutely love the free tea and coffee, which is a high standard. Tea pigs....for FREE!
The complementary items in the bathroom are great and smell devine. Although could a nice eco friendly conditioner be added for my next stay??
Thick white soft towels and the bed is huge. You are no where near the other person! Which is great if your staying with a friend.
I love qbic. I hope I see you again soon friend.

Trans-formative and fun, impressive what you can do if you put your mind to it to help the environment, we will always need hotels but this one is at least trying to make a difference. Well done, I felt less guilty after my stay for work and will book again.

A little different than what I am used to in the US, but has all the basic amenities. I was there on business so I would have preferred a larger desk area and closet area. The neighborhood was a bit seedy, but hotel itself was secure and safe.

We were two seniors and two young twens and we had an excellent stay at the hotel : the rooms were ok : a good bed, a small but good bathroom, a tv , and a quiet room. The breakfast was ok also was the bar. The staff was friendly.

We loved the quirky decor in the room, but the essential basics were all there too - comfy bed, space, cleanliness etc. One or two issues with coffee machines not working though

I missed your "refurbishment wine and tapas in the stairs " <3 but the restaurant turned out great
Very comfy beds, great location. Generous shower although rinsing conditioner take some patience I appreciate the thought and sure mother nature does too so top score,

Room was very cold at night despite turning heating to a maximum setting. Shower is fixed on top, so you can't wash properly. Mediocre breakfast. Not great value for money.

Stayed there twice now...both times were a really good experience. I will be back!
The location is fantastic, being so close to Aldgate East tube station for transport and at the end of Brick Lane for food and fun in the evening. A 10 minute walk gets you to Tower Bridge. Don't be disappointed by the outside of the hotel...and do take the advice in the lifts very seriously ;)
However, If you like your hotels stuffy and formal, or bland and corporate, this isn't the place for you.

This is my favourite hotel in London: I'm the guest and my human is my assistant. I get a doggy discount for my human for staying here, hand made dog biscuits and lots of attention. I can also enjoy the restaurant and bar and there's a small park right outside nust in case I need relief. It's close to the Tube to get around London, a 20 minute walk to Liverpool Street and five minutes to Brick Lane. There are also dog friendly cafes in the area.

My room was interesting and comfortable. I loved the bathroom - spacious, light and clean. The location was perfect for the purpose of my stay. The car park was essential. The information from the hotel before I arrived was helpful.

It's young and fresh and well organized. Being close to Aldgate East, every location in the city is just 20min away! The food is delicious, but ask for a restaurant check every time. You might be surprised: It is cheaper than you think :)
This is the place to go, if you favour a nice and comfy hotel over a cheap hostel, where you hope that your sleep starts early to forget about you surroundings, .
Thanks to the staff, to manage to assign adjacent rooms to us!

Fantastic, modern, affordable hotel in the trendy Shoreditch neighborhood. Rooms are small, but high design and highly functional. The staff is warm and helpful and the restaurant and bar are both inviting and sophisticated.

Dutch people should run everything. This place is a delight. Simple and spare but with the right investments in comfort (beds, baths, towels). We loved the lobby bar for a coffee or a late night drink, and found the hotel staff to be incredibly helpful and accommodating, even lending us an electrical adapter for the wall plugs. Because it's Dutch run they of course have free bikes, but you'll need a strong constitution to bike in central London as a tourist. The location is unbeatable, I'll probably never need to stay anywhere else in London.

Unfortunately there was no door in the bathroom. The room was a bit cold because the AC did not really heat the air. But it was spacey and had big windows and was clean. Free bottle of water daily and free coffee and tea. The location is awesome- few minutes away from brick lane or Tower of London!!

It was a short stay and our experience was good, not excellent. One member of staff in the restaurant was rather unpleasant, rest of them were reallly nice. We liked the design, the ideas, but rooms should be a bit more equipped (e.g. telephone, normal shower) and the very heavy sliding door should be much lighter (we couldn't close it from the inside). One annoying part was that we had to use the room card in the lift, and we were only given one. No kids channel on room TV (sometimes it would be handy). The (central) location is good, very close to the Aldgate East metro station (District and Hammersmith & City Lane).

Our first impressions were really good. A modern design that borders on boutique with some nicely thought out facilities and plenty of character. The environmental credentials were also really impressive.
The room was clean and incredibly quiet (we barely heard anybody), plus the bed was dream-inducing-ly comfortable!
The location really worked for us (LondonCity) as it was in a short walking distance to a couple of tube stations, plus Brick Lane and Spitalfield Market are fairly close by.
We'll be back to experience more!
