J. L.The quality of a hotel much more expensive than the rates. Zone 1, so very convenient for central London travel. The windows were double glazed so no traffic noise. Service was incredible when I needed a favour. A hidden gem in London and highly recommended.
A. S.Good no frills hotel in a pretty good location for the price. Close to tube station. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. If you have a room close to the street do expect traffic noise and I could even hear the tube so bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper like me. Also the room next door woke us up early as the floor creaked really loud in their room and the walls are thin but not a bad stay.

K.Stayed for 3 nights while visiting family in London,although quite basic it was pleasantly clean and tidy with little fuss,rooms a bit noisy due to constant traffic but they do provide earplugs,comfortable bed and good tea and coffee facilities which where replenished daily,even the biscuits,small but adequate shower and toilet facilities.For the price it was a fabulous find,I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.Great local area for breakfast and shopping and close to Clapham Common South tube station and of course the Common itself for a walk around.

B. J.I stayed at this hotel for two nights because of the great price and proximity to the tube station (Clapham South, 2 minutes away). The reception staff were lovely and upon arrival I was shown directly to my room, which is rare these days!
Though small and slightly dated, the room was clean and comfortable. It had everything I needed.
I have knocked off one star only because the fridge in the room didn’t work (room 18), but the fact that there was one at all was great!
I will definitely consider this hotel for my next trip to the capital.
T. T.Lovely staff, especially the receptionist Alex, he really helped us feel comfortable. Clean rooms and spacious bathrooms with a nice shower.
The location is also perfect, 3minute walk from the station and there are places for food and corner shops within a minute walk away.
B. P.Reasonably priced, comfortable and easily found. Room was small but clean and everything worked. Bathroom clean with excellent shower. Friendly man at reception and all in all good value for what I was looking for. Simple overnight accommodation local to where I was going.
P. F.The room was fine. Clean and tidy. The fridge in the room was a nice touch as was the complementary tea and coffee with biscuits. Bathroom very good and a good shower, hot and plenty fast enough. Sheets and towels all good, though there was no shower gel. Tthe wifi was terrible. Very slow and frequently cutting out altogether. I'd also recommend switching off the fridge at night due to the noise.
b.This is our 3rd stay here whilst attending a music festival. The rooms are clean and well equipped. It's close to a busy road but they even supply ear plugs. Alexandre on reception is a great guy. Very friendly, helpful and funny.
P. M.We were visiting my son who lives nearby and been out seeing the lights on Oxford Street. We hadn't checked in so go a phone call to remind me. The reception closed at 8 pm so self check in instructions were explained and texted. All was fine. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious.

The room was super clean with a small fridge, tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits. Perfect!!
Nextdoor there is a very nice Gastro Pub, over the road a Petrol station and a short walk away more restaurants and bars.
The onsite Parking was such a bonus in London.

Cleaning, changing towels every day. Rooms are small but very comfortable. Wall noise isolation is not good enough. Comfortable bed. Your own bathroom(!) Fredge, TV... Daily coffee and cakes available in your room. There are some larger rooms for families with kid(s). So, you will have just a room, no restaurant no pool or gym - with a positive note.

Attentive, nice and supportive. You won't meet them much since hotel has another entrance for guests. So...if you guys read this, Greeting from Armenia! ;)

As a man at 186cm tall (around 6"1.5') , I struggled a bit with height issues in the bathroom, everything else was fine height wise. Had a very good experience compared to the price payed for the room. Nice people and good service.

Kleines, sympathisches Hotel, zu Fuß 2 Minuten bis zur U-Bahn, die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist toll, da es fußläufig alles gibt, was man benötigt - Cafés, Pubs, Supermarkt etc. Die Zimmer sind für den Preis absolut in Ordnung. Zwei kleine Minuspunkte - die Straße ist ziemlich laut und das Bett ist nicht sehr bequem. Aber bei einem Wochenendtrip und den sonstigen Vorzügen lässt sich das verschmerzen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

The rooms are clean and are cleaned every day. The only negative was the fact that we had the shower which closed only with a bath curtain, so the bathroom got flooded every time.
Alex from the staff was super nice helpful and friendly. And that's why I put 5 stars instead of 4, despite the flaws in the bathroom. He helped us a lot and gave us countless tips and advice to fully enjoy London.
If I return to London the Gateway would be my first choice.

Posizione ottimale, a 2/3 minuti a piedi dalla stazione della metro di Clapham South, da cui è facile e veloce raggiungere tutte le principali attrazioni di Londra. Inoltre nei paraggi ci sono molti servizi di cui si può aver bisogno: Burger King (proprio di fronte), negozi di alimentari, caffè, benzinaio, ecc.
Le camere sono pulite e vengono pulite tutti i giorni. Unica nota negativa il fatto che avevamo la doccia che si chiudeva solo con una tenda da bagno, quindi il bagno si allagava ogni volta.
Alex dello staff è stato super gentile disponibile ed amichevole. Ed è per questo che ho messo 5 stelle invece che 4, nonostante le pecche del bagno. Ci ha aiutato tantissimo e ci ha dato innumerevoli indicazioni e consigli per goderci appieno Londra.
In caso tornassi a Londra il Gateway sarebbe la mia prima scelta.

Fuí con mi pareja a este hotel para pasar 4 días en Londres. Lo cogimos por las buenas reseñas que leímos del hotel y la verdad que fue todo un acierto. Está situado en muy buena zona, tranquila y con muchas opciones de comida. El metro está al lado y la línea tiene parada en prácticamente todas las estaciones importantes. Es muy sencillo y rápido llegar al centro de la ciudad.
También hacer especial mención al recepcionista Alexandre, una parte vital de ese hotel. Una excelente persona llena de vitalidad, un trato maravilloso, muy atento.
La relación calidad/precio es muy buena. De verdad, muy recomendable!
