Reviews of The Jade
The room is clean. There are microwave oven in the small kitchen in the room - the best advantage of this hotel. So that we can have some instant noodles and heat some bread. There are many Asian food shops and other supermarkets on the street to underground station, so that it's very convenient to buy something on the way back to the hotel. The hotel is very close to an underground station. There is a 24-hour reception. People at the reception in the day is nice and good (nicer than the people working overnight). For example, we can ask to clean or not clean the room on that day. Drop luggage is possible. Sound insulation is bad and we can hear people stepping above in the night (in an acceptable volume, not too loud). However, if the guest living next to you talks loudly in the night, you will not be able to sleep well - at this moment, go to the reception, ask the staff come to your room to show their noise. The reception should solve the issue.
Very clean but ridiculously small rooms, especially the bathroom (distance toilet to wall) is way too short. However, since it was very clean and we only used it for sleeping and showering it worked for us. But there was one no-go nonetheless: there was no power plug in the bathroom, so my wife couldnt use the hairdryer and straightener! (As a husband you dont want that to happen while you are around) thankfully we had an extra cable brought from home, so could use the plug from the bedroom (yes, the rooms are that tiny! ;D) alltogether a pleasant stay though, with nice staff
Staff friendly and professional. Excellent location near earl's court underground station with lots of good food nearby. Decor modern but a bit tired, stains on ceilings and corners of floor. Put in basement room with no window but a frosted glass single pane door on to street that let a lot of noise in. Generally not great sound proofing from the rest of the hotel either. Good value for a weekend stay in London.
You get more than what they say. The rooms are small as was given, but they are clean and updated. The shower amenities are lovely and the bathroom is very modern. The staff was welcoming and let me into my room 6 hours early as soon as the room was vacated and cleaned. Better yet, it's just a minutes walk to Earl's Court station on the Picadilly Line.
Very nice staff. Rooms are nice and new but very small. The rooms all have a small refrigerator, kettle and microwave oven. Breakfast is just a croissant but there is a coffee machine where you can get a free coffee, cappuccino or latte all day. About 500 meters walk to Earl's Court station with a easy connection to Heathrow Airport or downtown London.
Amazing hotel with very friendly people working there, the rooms have nice design with high level of cleanliness etc. Great location too!
This place is amazing, I can't recommend you enough to stay at this place. The staffs were really helpful and nice, especially the female receptionist, she helped us and was so nice about it. The rooms are pretty clean, and the atmosphere of the hotel is just perfect and inviting. Kensington is a really nice place to stay as well because it's near from tourist attractions and business establishments. Definitely going to go back if we were to visit London again.
Mi sono fermataI stopped a week in this hotel. the reception staff is friendly and helpful. the rooms are in order, although not exactly spotless. our second floor, the number 201 is one of the largest, but still having to sleep in the room makes no difference. the bathroom is small but has a nice shower and you change towels every day, they supply you with the necessary for the shower. in a closet door there is a microwave, an American coffee machine and a small sink, glasses and cups for breakfast. there is a small fridge in the room, empty. you can put whatever you want. in the morning in the small hall, they offer you free coffee and briosche. the location is fantastic at 200 meters from the underground earl's court, where both the district and the piccadilly passes. comfortable. the neighborhood is beautiful and full of life, many places to eat, where to shop or just a stroll when you come back in the evening after walking around the city for hours. I would recommend this hotel.
Brilliant.
Great spot just up the road from the tube and with loads of shops and pubs and cafes etc.
The receptionist was excellent and it was his fires day. I hope they keep him on. My room was a superior single. It was small and perfectly formed. Wardrobe, bedside table with drawer, bed (obviously) and a little glass door enclosure for the to Let hand basin and toilet. Shower was amazing. (Tip- once you’re in turn the second knob on and you get a extra power jet from the hand held. This is also useful as it’s a rain shower to rinse hair etc.
On the bedside table was a kettle with a nice selection of teas and coffees.
The mattress was good quality and firm. The pillows were also good , filled with hollow fibre. The linen was white, good quality and well laundered and pressed. As were the towels.
The only minor negative. And I mean minor Was that there had been a repair on the bathroom ceiling that just needs a fill and a lick of paint. Probably caused by patrons showering with the door closed and the subsequent humidity causing paint damage. Keep the door open when you shower.
Hand basin nice and the water pressure very good.
Air con was very good.
Even the toilet paper was good quality and scented!
I can not recommend this hotel enough.
Nice hotel in a great location. Good value. Some rooms in the basement level are ok, but avoid these by not booking too late. Very near the Piccadilly line allows easy access into the city centre in about 20 mins. Rooms contain a small fridge, kettle and microwave.
Clean, modern and within great proximity to central London. I would definitely recommend this hotel for short/weekend breaks but rooms are a little small for anything longer (this could just be my room, mind you).
Nice choice of restaurants/shops/banks on Earls Coat Rd (2 minute walk) and about 20 minute tube into central London.
One thing quite unique about this hotel was the microwave/cutlery in the room - perfect for money savers as there's a co-op/Sainsbury's a short walk away. There was also a huge range of tea/coffee and the usual toiletries you'd expect. Also.. free Wi-Fi.
Friendly welcoming staff. Room a little small but lovely and clean with good facilities eg: fridge, microwave, small sink and tea/coffee facilities - brilliantly fitted in a tall cupboard. Stayed one night as visiting the Royal Albert hall.
Short walk from Earl's Court tube station. Walking distance to museums and parks.
Clean room and friendly staff. Room is small but adequate.
Good eat in the area. Maroush, a Lebanese restaurant is highly recommended!
The hotel is in a good position, very close to the underground station of Earl's Court..My single room was very small and the bathroom was like a tiny little box,but it was clean and the men at the intrance very nice.
Good location, ideal for one or two nights. Obviously undergoing refurbishment. Small rooms but well equipped. My bathroom had obviously just been refurbished.
Room was clean and well equipped - fine for one night. I booked a cheap single room so my expectations weren't that high, but it was absolutely tiny and quite stuffy. Again, fine for one night.
The single room was exactly what I needed and the price was great. Friendly front desk staff and coffee + croissants for breakfast. Perfect when you’re on a budget.
Welcoming and friendly staff. Clean, good free wifi, mini fridge and microwave in the room and great location. A pleasent stay overall.
Rooms are very tiny, but clean, Earl's Court underground station is within 5 minutes walk; a towel rack in te bathroom would be a good idea
Hôtel located in a beautiful street so I was a bit disappointed with the interior design of the place. The service was good and the room was decent. All in all not a bad place but with a lot more potential.
Great location, very comfy rooms. Good to have the 24hr reception. Nice and close to the tube.
Very helpful staff. Nice, clean comfortable. The location is excellent with tons of things within walking distance and Earl's court station a couple on minutes walk.
Good location near tube station and local shops. Lovely staff. Daily room cleaning. Kitchenette is a big help.
We didn't stayed here because ebookers failed our booking into the hotel but the stuff was very kind and helpful and seemed to be a very lovely place
Pleasant experience. I stay here when they are selling off rooms.i wouldnt pay full price at any time. Convenient location to numerous restaurants and bars in Earls Court.
Easy walk to and from Earl's court station, Reception had been really helpful and friendly. Plenty of eateries at down the street. Room pricing is reasonable. ^^
Very friendly service, room clean, well supplied, and very central
Really close to earl's court metro station that has great connections to almost all tourism destinations. Room was confy and clean. Personnal was very helpfull.
Lovely stay and the staff where always on hand and ready to help, and making sure my partner had a room for the following week when her company did not book her in on time, thank you guys
Rooms are on the small side, But clean and comfortable. Fantastic location - a little over a minute walk to earls court station
Great hotel, complimentary pastry on a morning, room was clean and a good size. Really happy customer.
Clean place, friendly and helpfull staff. The room quite big for London standard, and located quite in centre of London.
Very small rooms but renovated and modern. Friendly customer service. Reasonable prices. I would recommend it
Good position for Kensington and museums of South Kensington. Clean and good size rooms
Stay here with my wife ,, helpful free coffee the older man at reception is a big asset to this place as he took an interest in the in the customers and was genuine where the other Stafe didn't for the 3 Days we stayed there
Nice one
The Room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly.
Clean but small rooms, decent aircon (albeit noisy - bring earplugs) and ok 17mb internet.
Clean, and great staff. Bed was old, messed up my back. Shower way too small for tall people.
Very nice hotel all renovations new clean I really recommend them
Short walk to the tube. Small room but good enough for single. Not quite comfortable in the basement.
Clean
Polite and helpful staff
Tiny bathrooms
1 minute walk from Earl's court station so it's easy to reach many places from here.
Nice location, nice room. Minor gripe is the lightning in the kitchenette area wasn't quite adequate.
This Hotel is amazing! Have a elevator, have a excelent temperature and stay in amazing location!
Perfect and flawless stay for very affordable price with well connected transport link to any place in london. 3 mins walk to earls court station and 10 mins to kensington high st. The room was modern and sparkling clean, the bed was super comfortable. Staffs were really helpful and welcoming. The neighbourhood is posh and lovely. I couldn't fault anything here, would definitely recommend.
Great value for the money I paid
Decent hotel. Clean, good location. Reply good free coffee in the lobby
Clean but well equipped small rooms. Would stay again.
Lovely, well-located hotel with super-friendly staff and a kitchenette in the room!
Staff were professional and friendly but our room was down below ground level with no window but an external door which let street noise in.
Nice Room but some of the amenities did not work properly.
Top tier staff and services, great location.
Great for both business travels and holidays, great location. Close to the tube station and cafes.
Always clean, very friendly staff and the beds comfy
An affordable hotel with decent conditions
Service excellent room was very clean infact spotless bed was clean and very comfortable well done see you again soon
Good location and rooms have air conditioning.
Very good location, clean room and good service for the price.
Good reasonable room for central location
Clean and welcoming hotel on a quiet street.
Central location, accessible, great view from the top floor.
Nice stylish place. Perfect for a getaway to London
Enjoyed the experience
Simple, neat and clean. It's really value for money.
Great place and good staff
Great value for money.
It is what it is. Nothing impressive but no disappointment either. A good place for a couple of nights on a budget.
Nice stay for a good rate
Nice small nearby station
Meet some amazing people there
good
Nice one nighters hotel
Small but nice
Good hotel
It was okay.
The rooms are of a high standard, with no carpeting, which is excellent by English standards. High-quality furnishings, a very comfortable bed, and a high-quality bathroom are provided. A minibar with a refrigerator is provided in every room.
The hotel has a perfect location. Earl's Court Underground station is a two-minute walk away, serving the Piccadilly and District lines. Kensington Gardens is a 10-minute walk away.
As already mentioned in numerous comments, the shower is not suitable for very tall people; the double bed is about 1.40 m wide, so it's not suitable for very tall people.
Our room was on the ground floor; you could actually hear the subway running directly beneath the hotel. If the window was open, you could hear the subway very clearly, so light sleepers should ask for a room facing the street.
In the morning, you can get free coffee to go in the lobby. There's a fully automatic Jura machine that delivers everything from coffee to espresso to cappuccino, completely free of charge.
Of course, the prices are comparable to London prices, but if you want a private bathroom and a reasonably central location, you'll hardly find anything cheaper.
We were very satisfied with our stay!
The hotel is in a very good location, close to the subway station. There are Chinese restaurants and fast food nearby (KFC, McDonald's and Nandos are all available). There are co-op, sainsbury's and tesco just a short walk away, which is very convenient. The hotel staff were very welcoming and worked hard to help us arrange a room when we arrived early. The hotel does not provide breakfast, but there is free coffee. The advantage of the room is that it provides a refrigerator, microwave and tableware for the double bed room. However, the disadvantage is that the room is small. The double bed room booked is actually two single beds put together. The biggest problem in the room is that the bathroom door opens and closes and the desk seat fights, which is troublesome. In addition, the room is poorly soundproofed. The WIFI provided by the hotel is okay, and the shower hot water is abundant. Overall, traveling to London is a cost-effective choice.
This is my second time at this hotel. It is very close to the earls court station, which is one of the central hubs in London. Hotel is reasonably priced and the single room size is not bad. I think one of the best aspect of the hotel is the free coffee and croissant served in the morning. Managed by very nice people. Only negative side is that the rooms need immediate renewing. Would stay there again at these prices.
Excellent location very close to the metro (earl coart). Area full of restaurants but quiet and peaceful at night. Small but comfortable rooms. Excellent coffee in the morning and croissants, all offered.

Posizione ottima vicinissima alla metro (earl coart). Zona piena do ristoranti ma tranquilla e silenziosa per la notte. Camere piccole ma confortevoli. Ottimo il caffè al mattino ed i cornetti, tutto offerto.
Perfect hotel. In a neighborhood of London where you can find everything. Very convenient for transportation (earl's court). The staff is exquisitely kind. And they offer free coffee and croissants (fresh and hot) in the morning. Rooms equipped with everything, including a mini kitchenette.

Albergo perfetto. In un quartiere di Londra dove si trova tutto . Comodissimo coi mezzi ( earl's court). Lo staff è di una gentilezza squisita. E offrono la mattina caffè e croissant ( freschi e caldi) gratis. Camere attrezZate di tutto, compreso mini angolo cucina.
(Translated) Aging hotel, defective heating (only worked once in two, in the middle of January), icy or hot shower (without really being able to choose ...), strong smell of humidity in the room.
only positive point: the location

Hotel vieillissant, chauffage défectueux (n'a marché qu'une fois sur deux, en plein mois de janvier), douche glacée ou brûlante (sans vraiment pouvoir choisir...), forte odeur d'humidité dans la chambre .
seul point positif: l'emplacement
Very nice hotel at a good price. They don't have breakfast, but they do offer free coffee and croissants. Excellent location. The walls are thin, and you can hear the neighbors walking in their rooms.
Very good location with many cafes, pubs and restaurants nearby. Close to earl's court metro. Hotel without carpet, large double room and small bathroom. Very good value for money. Free coffee and croissant in the morning. Clean.
Excellent hotel for its category, beautiful neighborhood and 300 meters from the metro....small rooms but well kept and welcoming, a detail not to be underestimated, there is no carpet in the room but parquet so additional cleaning.....well done
Small, unpretentious but friendly hotel, well appointed, attentive and helpful staff. good location.
(Translated) As always in London, questionable value for money. However silent room and great location for the metro.

Come sempre a Londra, rapporto qualità prezzo discutibile. Comunque camera silenziosa e posizione ottima per la metro.
I stayed in the smallest room in the hotel and still I loved it. Its very clean and just works. I loved how there was a built in sink, microwave, and well just everything you needed just neatly built into the room. It wasnt crammed in, it was done very stylish. I have high standards as a business traveller as I regularly stay at Marriott and Hilton, but The Jade was very nice in a different way. Very modern, and just very different to other hotel experiences, in a new modern thinking kind of way. The staff are very friendly too.
The room, the service, the location, everything was great.
Great location near the metro
