S. B.Stayed here before and it was just as good second time around. Great location near East Putney tube station. Very classy decor, really peaceful, comfy bed, immaculately clean bathroom, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. What more could you want? Will definitely stay here again. Love it!
S. R.We only stayed for one night, but would have happily stayed longer! A great hotel to use as a base for exploring London, with the tube station only a few minutes walk away (using the district line service). The parking was definitely a great perk to have, though when we arrived there were lots of spaces, but later on, not so many. The staff were amazing, and service was wonderful - going above and beyond to make my birthday stay extra special. Rooms were clean, had all of the expected facilities including hairdryer/iron/coffee machine etc, so was ideal for our requirements. We didn’t have breakfast, or use the bar/restaurant, but the set up looked fab. We would 100% recommend the Lodge, and will definitely be making a return visit next time we head to London!

B. H.The Hotel is fantastic and I would have easily given it 5 stars if it was not for the parking situation. The fact it is advertised as “Free Parking” on booking.com is very misleading as you have a very very slim chance of actually getting a parking space, certainly on a weekend anyway. Do not book this hotel if you are expecting to be able to park at the hotel for free, because that’s unlikely. I ended up having to park on residential permitted parking nearby and just hoped I didn’t get a ticket. Everything else perfect though, lovely spacious rooms. Modern, clean and stylish but with plenty of character. Comfy bed. Good location, district line tube 5 minute walk. 25 minutes to central London.

S. k.Nice hotel which i would most certainly visit again. Free parking makes this place a very good deal as well as the rates for the rooms. A nice modern, clean hotel. We booked an executive room which in my opinion was quite small. Tube station is literally 3mins walk away and there are several decent shops and restaurants all nearby.

M. T.Great boutique hotel near the city. The room was clean and they do house keeping daily. The service was great, the staff took our luggage upstairs since there were no elevator in this hotel. Parking is tight and limited but they staff do try their best to give you suggestion on where to park. Bathroom is good size but shower is a bit tight. there should be more storage space in the bathroom since there is no place to put things.
I. G.Very comfy well situated hotel. Close to public transport and supermarket. Room was very comfortable and spacious, though wifi reception was poor (both guest as conference network). Breakfast was basic, typical English style (probably little light for business guests). Staff went beyond & above — thank you to the reception for helping out with the taxi issue (note to all guests: avoid Addison Lee cabs!!)

J. S.A true hidden gem. We've stayed in two different rooms and whilst all of the rooms are lovely, the ones in the newer 'wing' of the hotel, were absolutely beautiful. We stayed in a superior room and have nothing but positive things to say. The decor is luxurious, the bed comfortable and the room very spacious, especially for London.
We ate breakfast in the library and it was lovely - a good choice of cooked and continental foods. The staff were also great, helping to arrange chocolates and flowers for our arrival.
Another bonus was free parking immediately outside the front door!
Overall, i have to say this is one of the best hotels in London (in this price bracket) that i've stayed in. THere's nothing that could've been improved and we will definitely stay again!

For convenience was able to leave my car secure for the night and day FOC whilst travelling into Waterloo for work, which is only 17 mins on the overground train. t. c.The Lodge Hotel checks all the boxes of a modern laid-back boutique I was after, while packing in all the luxuries that make you feel at home- the delicious teas and cool toiletries in your room.
I love the Decor! A mix of hip yet cosy. The staff are such a friendly bunch too, they instantly made me feel relaxed as soon as I checked in and accommodated all my needs throughout my stay. An extremely thoughtful service, I will be back!

G. K.We stayed one Night from 27. on 28.10.2019 in the lodge Hotel Putney. The receptionist welcomed us very friendly and gave us room 43 in the Second floor. When we entered the room it was really Hot with a bad air/smell, To this Time it was 6 degrees in London but we had to sleep with Air conditioning. Otherwise the room had everything we Need and was cozy. On the next morning we were surprised how nice the breakfast was.
When we arrived Home our whole clothes had the Smell of the hotel room (I think the room was above the kitchen). This problem needs a quick changement.
M. J.This hotel is one of the best places we have stayed at. Initial phone calls and emails were dealt with in an extremely efficient and friendly way. Lovely location with parking. Very tasteful decoration to very high standard. High standard of hygiene. Staff most helpful and friendly. Very attractive dining area; high quality food and service. I would highly recommend this hotel and we are going back again soon.

The rooms are cozy, clean and cool. The location is great for getting into central London and close to great restaurants and shops.

S. F.Fantastic Experience - Beautiful Hotel. Well done! Really loved the design & feel, they really cracked it. From walking in the front door I was immediately hit by a warmth, from the smiley staff greeting us & the overall vibe. The bar was a cool design with a vintage looking lever espresso machine. Our room had everything we needed, great shower, nice products, & the nespresso was a great touch, and the bed had a really quality feel. Need to ask the manager for the name of the wallpaper - want it for my house! Would def recommend the lodge to anyone.
M. M.Beautiful, small boutique hotel with incredibly friendly staff. The rooms are clean and modern, breakfast and dinner were great as well. The only downside is that the walls are quite “thin” so you can hear noises from outside or the other rooms.

R. S.A bespoke, slightly quirky (in a good way) boutique hotel. Well located for a West London stay. Good communications to central London Lovely rooms with comfy beds. Great staff. Delicious breakfast. Limited experience suggests other meals would be good as well. Great value by London standards. During the week breakfast ends at 9:30 which is fine for business trips but a bit early if a leasure visit.
A. M.Fantastic service at this small local hotel. Nearest station is east putney- about 4 minutes. Room was serviced daily, promptly. Staff were attentive and let me check in early when I asked as the room was available at no extra cost. The breakfast was excellent - the portobello mushrooms and the hash browns are particularly tasty. Good air con in the rooms, ask for a room at the back to have a view over putney.
B. W.Nice, airy room that didn't feel crowded despite quite a high number of people. Really nice to have some garden space in London as well. The food and drink served were great and staff were attentive. Only issue was that the air conditioning broke and the room got very warm.
P. C.The Lodge has been extensively renovated and extended. The three star rating seems mean given that The Lodge generally feels like a more up market offering. We got a great rate for our room which was actually cheaper than a much more basic hotel in Putney. Ask for a room at the back away from the busy main road.
R. L.I came to London as a tourist. The lo action of lodge hotel is 5 minutes from the underground. So it's easy to get to places. The hotel room was clean but rather small (just like most UK hotel). The hotel staff was friendly. The inside of the hotel was renovated.

L. S.Modern and boutique but a bit of pot luck on the rooms. Sometimes I'm in a tiny attic room, other times I'm in a huge double room. All rooms are different so make sure to specify if you need a bath rather than a shower. Lots of stairs to climb to some rooms!
I. R.We are regular visitors to the Lodge. Staff as always welcoming, professional and helpful.
Which room you are allocated does seem to determine how good your stay is. On this occasion we were in the older part of the hotel . There were light switches which had been superseded which is just plain odd. No bed side lights. Just lights hanging from the ceiling but controlled by one switch. Frustrating . Minor iritations and we will be back.

A.I never get excited about staying in hotels holiday or work because I am so frequently disappointed but when I checked in at The Lodge I was really pleased I actually was gutted I had to go to work and wanted to just crawl into the massive bed and go to sleep. I was very happy with my room and the service I received. Only thing they need to do is police the parking better there was a jag that was parked over 2 spaces for 2 days and vans there taking up multiple spaces so when I did get back at 4am I had to park in the slip road and was called later to move it which I wouldnt have had to do if others hadnt parked like idiots. The cooked breakfast is nice but the continental is a bit pathetic and the fruit is a basket no nice sliced fruit or cocktails other than some tinned peaches which is at odds to the high quality of the cooked breakfast. Overall really pleased though and will definitely return.
O. L.Very nice British style hotel with good food, friendly staff and reasonable rooms. Only maintenance could be a bit better. Downsides which are not the hotels fault are the close by HWR airport and the opening hours of the bar :-)

The hotel is close to the underground station, so you can geht very easy to the City of London. Putney is a very beautiful district with nice Pubs and restaurants. I would definitly book this hotel again.

C. D.A unique and cosy, modernised old school hotel. Rooms are scattered around the building unlike the souless purpose built hotels. The hotel has it's own character and the staff are friendly. There is on site parking, the spaces at the back of the hotel are a little snug, but ok if you reverse into the space. There are restaurants, shops and tube within a 5 minute walk
c. d.Lovey quirky hotel. 5 minute walk from East Putney underground station and 10 minutes into Putney itself. Although our room was advertised as cosy it was actually quite spacious. The room was very clean and tidy, decorated to a high standard, with the added bonus of air con. Everything worked as well. Bed clean and comfortable. Did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food. Only drawback for some with mobility issues was the lack of lift, so ask for ground floor room if stairs is a problem. Would definitely use again and would sample breakfast next time.

C. M.The lodge hotel is situated outside of Central London in East Putney, with a 30 minute tube ride into the city. It's a charming hotel located in a neighborhood instead of the busy city. We rented the family room, which has one queen sized bed in the main room and two twin beds in an adjacent room. The room has plenty of amenities including a mini fridge, air conditioning, flat screen television and water boiler. The room is a little difficult to get to with luggage as it's upstairs, inside of a tight stairwell and there's no elevator. The bathroom is on the street side of the hotel, so it can get a little loud with the window open. This price was extremely reasonable being outside of the main city. I would easily stay here again.

Could hear everything, and I mean everything, from neighbours both sides and above, including the guy next door with the loud TV until 2am. Go for the food and bar, but don't go if you're trying to have a restful time away or you're a light sleeper!

Especially great for Fulham and Chelsea and just as good for central London. Well priced full English breakfast, wonderful rooms, free parking. Highly recommend this hotel.

Exterior has had a makeover recently, quite like the red phone box outside, also the "hide and seed" bar is nice and quiet with great wine. Restaurant looked really nice, food looked delicious and with mains around £14-16 seem comparable to good restaurant.
D. M.The location is amazing, right near East Putney Station with shops, resuraunts and take out all within walking distance. Staff is friendly and try to be helpful however I experienced quite a few issues such as a day where the hot water stopped working, the phone in the room not working and also one of the lamps by the bed wouldn't turn on. The design for the shower door was very dangerous and guaranteed water all over the floot unless you turn down the intensity of the water. A good place to pay cheap and hey around town easy but not a place that you'd go just for the hotel.

P. B. K.Quiet ambiance, but quite expensive, all dishes are priced separately, I'd prefer an overall price for lunch, personally. Cocktails not very well described, I'd like to see a picture so I know what to expect. House red was £22, expensive for an ok bottle, which you'd get for half that in a shop. Staff attentive but not intrusive. Service charge is added to the bill whether you want to pay it or not.

F. P.The rooms were really smelly when i first got there. I spoke to Jacobo about this and he was very rude and quite useless, could not believe he was the manager. However the reason for the 5* is because of faheem, top guy sorted my issues out and moved me to a suitable room. Very helpful otherwise would have been a 2 - 3* if faheem was not there. The late reception guy was weird aswell.

Hotel charmant. Décor très bien pensé et cosy. On s'y sent bien. Le personnel est très sympa. Petit bémol, pour certaines chambres, les fenêtres donnent sur des vues pas terribles (mur, toits avec grosses tuyauteries), mais dans la mesure où l'on n'y vient que pour dormir, ça n'a pas d'importance.
L’hôtel est également très bien situé. A 5 mn d'une station de métro qui dessert tout le centre ville de Londres.
Les petits-déjeuners sont excellent.

This is my second time here and I am very satisfied:
The hotel is easily accessible by tube (less than a 5-minute walk between East Putney station and The Lodge Hotel). It takes about 20 minutes to get to the city center (Zone 2).
The rooms are not particularly large (both times I had a simple double room for two nights, including breakfast), but they were clean and tastefully decorated.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
There is no spa area or the like, but if you want to experience something for two days, that is not really missing.
The breakfast buffet is very varied: yoghurt, fresh fruit, cornflakes, muesli, bread, rolls, sausage, cheese, jam, honey, sausages, bacon, eggs, beans, sweet things like croissants, filled croissants, muffins, juices, smoothies, teas, Coffee, ... (you can't try everything, but what I tried was fresh and delicious).
There is also a cozy bar for the evening with soft drinks, cocktails, wine, beer, ... where a visit is worthwhile to end the day in a relaxed manner.
Due to the limited time, I cannot comment on the in-house restaurant.
If I come to London again, I will definitely try to get a room here again.
Special service that I was able to use for both stays: due to the early departure time, it was not possible to have breakfast in the hotel on the last day. You get a small lunch package with a sandwich, muffin, fruit, yoghurt and water for when you're on the go!

Sehr gemütliches, kleines Hotel. Wer eine bezahlbare Unterkunft für einen Städtetripp über wenige Tage sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben.
Ich bin jetzt zum zweiten Mal hier und bin sehr zufrieden:
Das Hotel ist gut mit der Tube erreichbar (knappe 5 Minuten Fußweg zwischen Haltestelle East Putney und The Lodge Hotel). Bis in die Innenstadt fährt man ca. 20 Minuten (Zone 2).
Die Zimmer sind zwar nicht besonders groß (ich hatte beide Male ein einfaches Doppelzimmer für zwei Nächte, inkl. Frühstück), dafür aber sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Es gibt zwar keinen Spa-Bereich oder Ähnliches, aber wenn man für zwei Tage was erleben möchte, fehlt das auch nicht wirklich.
Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr abwechslungsreich: Joghurt, frisches Obst, Cornflakes, Müsli, Brot, Brötchen, Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, Honig, Würstchen, Speck, Eier, Bohnen, Süßes wie Croissants, gefüllte Hörnchen, Muffins, Säfte, Smoothies, Tees, Kaffee, ... (man kann gar nicht alles probieren, aber das was ich probiert habe, war frisch und lecker).
Es gibt auch für den Abend eine gemütliche Bar mit Softdrinks, Cockails, Wein, Bier, ... wo sich ein Besuch lohnt, um den Tag entspannt ausklingen zu lassen.
Aufgrund der begrenzten Zeit, kann ich über das hauseigene Restaurant nichts sagen.
Wenn ich nochmal nach London komme, werde ich in jedem Fall versuchen, wieder hier ein Zimmer zu bekommen.
Special Service, den ich bei beiden Aufenthalten nutzen komnte: aufgrund der frühen Abflugzeit, war es am letzten Tag nicht möglich im Hotel zu frühstücken. Man bekommt ein kleines Lunch-Paket mit Sandwich, Muffin, Obst, Joghurt und Wasser mit, für unterwegs!
