We had an amazing stay. The staff were extremely helpful. The minute you walk in you are made to feel special. The bar with live music looks great. The rooms are great. Loved the Japanese toilets that are in every bathroom in the hotel. The spa had everything you need. The staff were very good in there too. Breakfast was good nothing was a problem. And the location couldn't be better. A highly finished hotel.
Already booked a couple of nights in a suite for Valentine's. Very excited

Just left after an awesome 2 night stay, amazing location, incredible food, interesting drinks and warm & welcoming staff..
A lady called Ula by the pool was fantastically attentive and left us feeling like we had a truly 5 star experience; kindness & friendliness is key in hotels like this! We will 100% be back and can’t wait to do so!

Visited the Londoner hotel on Thursday and what an establishment it is. Absolutely stunning. The lobby, bedrooms, hallway, rooftop bar, spa, massive event space, multiple food and beverage outlets. It is a beautiful building inside and out. A truly Super Boutique Hotel. Check out their website for more details of the treats that await you.

Stunning! Such a relaxing and calm environment. Staff were so lovely and welcoming and helpful! The rooms were spacious and the decor was impeccable. Love the 'living room' area and the spa. There was noise from the square, however that is to be expected from being so central. Would definitely recommend.

Superb! The hotel’s designs is so breathtaking. All the staff we came across were kind, professional and at your service. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Literally the best hotel stay I ever had.

The best hotel experience I’ve ever had. Beautiful hotel and every single member of staff we crossed paths with were impeccable. Special thanks to Beatrice for making it extra special. Couldn’t recommend The Londoner more highly.

An exceptional hotel. Service shone from the moment we entered. Any requests I had were dealt with quickly and comprehensively. The staff really made sure that we had everything we needed.
While it is situated in Leicester Square, once you are inside the bustle drops to a much more intimate level. The champagne bar off the lobby means there’s always activity and while the hotel is big, it has been designed in such a way that the public floors never feel empty. However, on our bedroom floor we couldn’t hear anything. The way privacy vs atmosphere has been handled was spot on. Best of both worlds - both within the hotel itself, and its location as an oasis with immediate access to the activity of the West End.
The jewel in the crown is the Izakaya restaurant on the roof (recommend the lobster tempura!). I imagine in summer the retractable roof will make dining there even more fabulous, though it was great when we went in November as the views over Trafalgar Square to the London Eye remind you that you are in the very heart of London.
Five stars. Will definitely visit again soon - need to try out the spa next time. As well as more lobster tempura. :)

If I had to choose from a place to live forever, then this would be it! The Londoner is an exquisite comfortable place. I could probably write a book of every moment I enjoy it here. From the first moment when the reception staff welcomes you all the way to housekeeping.
On Sunday morning our breakfast was simply beautiful and so delicious. Big thanks to Catalina, our server. A place like this is truly unique thanks to its people. So warm welcoming, looking after you. I want to say simply thank you for making a time like this so special. My partner and I will treasure it forever! We will definitely come back soon!

Came for afternoon tea and was very very pleased with the service and food. 100% all round. My waiter Daniel was amazing at helping select drinks and deserts and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back soon :)

Whatever you expect from a luxurious experience, The Londoner will show you something utterly sublime.
The rooms are incredible, the decor is beautiful, the artwork stunning, attention to detail always amazing, but most of all, the staff are genuinely interested in caring for you and making your stay something truly special.
Don't even get me started on the food, this place needs a Michelin star and if I stayed here more often I'd have a belly like a Michelin tyre - don't worry, there are plenty of healthy options to choose from too.
If opulence on every level is what you're after, this is arguably the best hotel in London (and the only one in central London with a swimming pool and proper spa).

Luxury and finesse done very well. All amenities are surpassing expectations. Julia looked after us every breakfast and was 6 stars all the way. 8 had the best views in London and we have been everywhere to enjoy a cocktail and amazing small bites. Could not find a single negative

This hotel is 5/5 any day of the week. I stayed here for approx 3. weeks after it was recently opened, and they took incredible care of me. Flexibility in terms of deciding which room I wanted, being able to bring +1 guest to the spa, excellent food at the restaurants, personal greetings and Swedish cakes sent to my room (as I was travelling from Sweden) etc...
It truly felt like a boutique hotel. The service was impeccable and very personal. The bed was the best bed I have ever slept it. Interior of the hotel super modern and luxurious. Amazing location. Excellent spa and rooftop bar.
I will definitely be back and recommend this hotel as the best 5 star hotel in central London!

A truly majestic addition to London. From The Retreat deep underground, to the striking 8 on the top tier, an attentive service was provided to me in both zones. The Residence and Whiskey room have to be explored on my next visit, for which I can't wait!
M. R.
Incredible hotel in a perfect location. Staff were beyond incredible from the moment they opened the door to let you in. Check in was a breeze, the lounge area with piano singer was fab and the residents bar made a good close to the evening.
E. L.
Had a really wonderful experience at the spa today. It is beautiful and peaceful and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Had a fantastic deep tissue massage with Sarah who I could not recommend highly enough. I will be back!
M. S.
we enjoyed great service throughout our visit and the location of this hotel is perfect. We were able to walk to many sights like the Leciester Square Picadlly Soho and London Eye, - the list goes on. We had a nice breakfast each morning and enjoyed drinks at the bar a few evenings. I highly recommend staying here on your next visit to London.

Fabulous hotel, very attentive and helpful staff, amazing breakfast, new, modern and functional facilities, great swimming pool. We had an absolutely amazing time at The Londoner! There are live music at the weekend at reception and at the rooftop bar, but you cannot listen to anything from your room which is fantastic. They went beyond and above to make our stay as pleasant as possible. A special thank you to Diego, from The Residence. Hospitality needs more places like this! We are already looking forward to come back! Book it quickly.

Stayed at the Londoner for one night this week. I wanted to book somewhere special for my husband's birthday. I was concerned that the Londoner might be 'fur coat, no knickers', but how wrong was I!? From the moment we stepped in, it was sensational. From the stunning lobby area (and champagne bar), to the friendly staff.
We were sat down with a complimentary cup of coffee whilst we checked in. After this one of the staff kindly gave us a tour of the hotel. We were then shown to our room (which came with a delightful bottle of red wine).
The room itself was amazing! The binoculars and umbrella were a nice touch, as was the radio playing classical music when we entered the room! We had a spectacular view over Leicester Square and the huge TV was a plus. You can even order additional biscuits via the TV!
We then visited the spa where we enjoyed the pool, sauna and steam room. The massages were fantastic too! There is a residents only area with board games, complimentary nibbles and hot beverages. The breakfast was top notch too!
Every single staff member we encountered throughout our stay was super friendly, that is one of the reasons this hotel stood out. This is real modern luxury in the heart of London. It's one of the most enjoyable stays we have ever had. Will recommend to everyone!
D. F.
Lovely Hotel staff are amazing and a credit to the hotel Bosses take note.
The only thing that needs addressing urgently is the A La CARTE breakfast hard to believe a 5star establishment is serving breakfast from food warmers on stone cold plates all food was just about warm and the hash browns were cooked within an inch of its life had trouble cutting them in half they were more like crisp and the scrambled egg was just not worth a comment very very disappointing experience. And saying the food was warm is a generous comment.
L. P.
Best hotel in the UK. The experience we had at this hotel was absolutely incredible. The attention to detail that’s gone in to the design of the hotel is insane, the staff are really lovely and make you feel very welcome. The retreat (pool and spa) made us feel like we were on holiday. Would recommend to anyone and will no doubt stay again.
M. B.
Everything about our stay was amazing.
We were greeted by Julia who gave us a tour of the hotel which I would highly reccomend becuase it highlights just how fanatstic all the facilities are.
Literally everything in the hotel is of the highest quality, the bars, the rooms, the staff...everything.
We had some of the best cocktails at the Shima Garden bar which had a relaxing vibe and a menu which caters for everyone.
We also made use of thespa area which is far superior to other hotels we have stayed in.
We will be back.

Exceptional customer service. This new hotel is absolutely beautiful but what makes it shine the most is every member of Staff we met along the way.. We enjoyed a fabulous night of dinner and drinks at 8. The Lovely Joanna and her fabulous team in particular Alex and Kalil took such good care of us. The food was exceptional. The Lobster Taco’s in particular. Also big thanks to the lovely Ollie who works in the lobby bar. We shall return.
A. N.
Wonderful place in Leicester Square. Opulent and massively overpriced. But I shall return because it has a very nice atmosphere and they have a roof top restaurant that I want to try.
Great location for a stay if one is a tourist. Not my cup of tea but I will recommend it.
A. S.
This hotel is a neat concept. It feels boutique but also is huge. The rooms are a generous size for London, the showers are excellent and also amenities are very nice, which they have to be for what this place costs a night. The room did feel a bit dark though and could've done with a bit more closet space. We had a hiccup in our stay which the team at The Londoner was attentive to and recovered very well from. Thank you to Paul for hearing our concern and making it right for us. Flavia was wonderful to us upon checkin and started our stay on a high note. A few things to note, this hotel is busy, very busy! If you are looking for a buzzing place to be, The Londoner will make you happy, but what this hotel is not is isolated or low key in any way. They seem to have expected crowds to flock to the hotel, so there is exclusive areas to unwind for guests which are beautiful, especially the whisky room. One thing to note, you are in Leicester Sq, it is packed with people and that extends to the lobby where the Champagne bar is. Thankfully the hotel rooms are very quiet and you can get a good rest but the occasional siren and such can be heard.
O. S.
Very accommodating and friendly. Room was amazing, as was the spa and the rest of the amenities. Can’t beat the location for the theatre either!

This review is for the cocktail /bar service.
Beautifully designed, good selection of drink, live piano was excellent. The best was the service. Polite and professional (Thank you Oly for being such a professional hospitable staff taking care of us).
We will be back.

Incredible brand-new hotel (opened 5 weeks ago), with beautifully designed spaces, live music every evening, bespoke Japanese restaurant on the top floor with rooftop bar and retractable roof, classic French Brasserie style main dining room and Tavern pub. Spa, fitness, beauty and MICE facilities are all underground.
Outstanding food (truffle mushroom risotto, fillet mignon, and calamaris).
N. M.
I had a great stay here. The staff were friendly, kind and helpful. In fact, the staff were probably the best bit. Absolutely great standards. Oh, before I forget, William, who checked us in, was great! The Londoner is lucky to have him, great start to our short break. Also, I kid you not here, my partner and I entered and exited this hotel numerous times, and not once did I have to open the front door. The door men were ON POINT, it’s these little touches that really do enhance your stay sometimes. Yes, they were incredibly kind & friendly too.
I booked the Deluxe King Room and was upgraded to the Deluxe King City room. Not that it made much difference… Lol… Except, now, I guess the people below could probably see me in my robe 🤷♂️ (I'm sorry for that, no one should see that 🤮🤣). The rooms were the same size though, so not much of an upgrade, but still noted & appreciated! The Deluxe King City Room is quite small and has a ‘wetroom’ as opposed to a free-standing tub and shower room. If you’re looking for a spacious room then I definitely recommend booking a bigger one (I think the next size up is the “Junior Suite”) because it is tight, seriously… It’s TIGHT (See photos). We were there for one night only so we could deal with it.
We booked this hotel to check out the spa and… 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ The sauna wasn’t working. I was annoyed, wouldn’t have gone when I did had I known. Luckily, the night before I was at the Corinthia and their Spa was fully operational. So, I wasn’t that bothered, but still... You know? The spa at The Londoner is nothing to write home about, decently designed, maintained well and is equipped with steam & sauna. However, the steam and sauna remind me of a middle tier health club. Basically, they’re fit for purpose, but not designed in a way that POPS. Also, the jacuzzi was lacklustre to say the least. I wouldn’t go for the spa again.
PUT SIMPLY: If you wanted to be in the heart of Leicester Square, were looking for brilliant… AND I MEAN BRILLIANT, A1 SERVICE, a cool vibe, I should mention the bar and lounge areas are designed beautifully... I'll add a photo, and were wondering where you could stay… I’d for sure recommend the Londoner. JUST REMEMBER! The Deluxe King rooms are small, GET THE JUNIOR SUITE or look elsewhere! And the spa should be considered as an ADDITION! Not the main reason for your stay, there are plenty of other hotels that have great spa facilities if that’s what you want.
EDIT: I FORGOT TO MENTION THIS! The gym is GREAT! Brilliant facilities (photos attached). One problem though, they have a teardrop punching bag, but do NOT provide gloves. So, if you box 🥊 bring your own. If the hotel is reading this... Please put some gloves in there.
I hope my review helps you. Have a good trip wherever you go 👍👍

My partner and me went to the Londoner for our anniversary last week. We initially had a booking at the 8 but as soon as we entered the building we were welcomed by the perfect ambience which included live music, friendly staff and very comfortable looking seating. We decided to stay at the stage and we are so happy we did.
We ordered a bottle of champagne and the cheese platter. The environment was perfect, the music excellent, the food and drink lovely but the most important thing to us is how the staff interact with us and how well looked after we feel. We were very pleasantly surprised at just how accommodating the staff were. Our waiters made sure that our drinks were topped up, that we felt happy and relaxed and had everything we wanted and needed.
Everyone went out of their way to accommodate us, the communication was friendly and professional at all times and we felt so relaxed and happy. A special shout out goes to Gabor who is clearly managing his team extremely well and his lovely staff, Amelie and Olli. Also a special thank you to Jonathan and Janis for our special anniversary cocktail, we really enjoyed it.
Thank you for making our night so incredibly special and looking after us so well. You have a very strong and capable team and you should all be very proud of your hard work.
Thank you very much
Best wishes
Anjana and Wendy

I attended an award event last night at the hotel and stayed for the night and my experience was exceptional. We had the chance to have a little showaround of the facilites given by William, he had an amazing knowledge of the property and made sure we had an amazing time. The rooms are beautiful and the bathroom is just lovely, little details as their range of amenities really make your experience. Late at night we played board games a bit in the lounge and ordered a couple of drinks, Luca took care of us and went above and beyond when we ordered a Energetic Drink and he went to the nearest store and got us one as the hotel didn't have it in their menu, we were really impress how such a little gesture became such a beautiful memory. Perfect breakfast in the morning with their hot and cold breakfast selection, could not recommend enough their eggs benedict and pancakes. An overall a 5 star experience :):)

Best drinks I ever had in my entire life at The Stage Champagne Bar! The mixologist was a tall man, I didn’t catch his name but he was extremely brilliant and made the absolute best recommendations. My top fav was the 1729 and then the Violette which was so beautiful and how the mixologist made it was so graceful! This place is perfect for a super classy night out, can’t wait to come back here!

Newly opened hotel, public areas are elegant but cosy, great design by duo YP. Artwork is amazing, with paper sculpture of London's famous buildings at reception.
We had drinks and wanted a quick bite at the lobby bar, but was surprised they don't even offer one vegan option! In 2021 is quite out of time!
J. S.
Visited the champagne bar this weekend and I must say it was delightful. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nice vibe for a Sunday afternoon and the cocktails were very good.
K. M.
Fantastic hotel. One of the best old fashion cocktails in London. One not to miss.
D. S.
Lovely decor and vibe in the hotel. Every bar had good music and good service. The standout was Maria in Whitcomb's. Genuinely the most knowledgeable, friendly and helpful member of staff I have encountered in hospitality venues since pre lockdown. They need more Maria's and they need to give Maria a raise.
K. A.
Amazing staff that will make you feel special! All of the staff were very friendly and professional.A huge thank you to: Raphaella, Pedro, Quintin, Dario, Kieran and everyone else involved in making my stay a blast! Facilities were luxurious, clean and welcoming. This hotel is like its own city within a hotel!
D. H.
Had drinks at the bar of the newly open hotel. Nice decoration & cocktails! But what made the eve great was the bar manage Gabor who was so busy every where in the room for no waiters but he made sure our table was looked after well. Thank you Gabor!
D. D.
The Stage bar. Accidentally step into it. Service is amazing and a nice place to sit down, drinks start from £20.00 for glass of whiskey.
D. S.
Great rooms if not a little small. Lighting could definitely be better in the rooms. Great position at Leicester Square would definitely stay again.

A new definition of lifestyle has arrived to Leicester Square as the worlds first super boutique hotel. It’s taking luxury to the next level. I was treated so amazingly here honestly. Every staff member and manager were all so friendly and helpful. It’s a huge hotel so thankfully they are on hand to show you which lifts and services you need.
🧖🏾♀️
The retreat spa was so gorgeous 🤩 The whole subterranean level is dedicated to total wellness and self care. The ambience, peace & tranquility will have you relaxed in the spa for hours. Having stopped at their refuel bar; a superfood and drinks clinic it was a whole new world of knowledge to be learned! A huge thank you to Agnatia, Kiran & the manager Stefani for their hospitality!
🍽🍸
I attended the official opening of The 8 at the londoner & let me just say wow the vibe was gorgeous. The stunning rooftop izakaya lounge offers modern Japanese small dishes & premium cocktails, the mixologist sure knows his craft as I ordered 2 Lychee roses 😉 I ordered the grilled pardron peppers, sea bass carpaccio & the crispy squid with shichimi. The small dishes where so delicious & delicate. Across from the lounge you have the main restaurant and the most perfect view over london. You can see as far as the London Eye even more beautiful at night, only thing is the terrace is weather dependent. Thanks to the manager Joanne H of 8 at the Londoner for her hospitality throughout the evening ❤️
All in all this super hotel is the finest in luxury, an urban resort at its best.

We came here on my birthday for pre dinner drinks. We already had a dinner booking at Chotte Matte.
We went upstairs to the terrace, which has interesting views over London.
1. There is an abundance of friendly welcoming staff.
2. We saw the beautiful Schima garden but opted for the views on the terrace.
3. The seating is not very comfortable on the terrace. I don't understand how they could get that so wrong.
4. We ordered the sea bass ceviche which was beautifully presented and very nice.
5. The Cherry blossom tempura ice cream came with a bit of dry ice theatre. The ice cream itself had a very delicate and subtle flavour. I could have had a scoop of that alone. It was unusual. I had never had tempura icecream. Beautifully presented.
6. We also had a non alcoholic cocktail. I think it was the Calamansi Mojito, which was also enjoyable.

This place is exactly what it sells, people are so kind especially Dario the bartender was very attending to us me and my girlfriend, and he was very knowledgeable. On Wednesday he recommend me the Bordeaux and my girlfriend Violette. I recommend you guys to visit!!!

Attention to detail and pure luxurious place. Having stayed in many top hotels around the world this rates as one of the best!
Highly recommend
A. J.
Sexiest hotel in London right now. Such attention to detail and the service falls nothing short of spectacular. Highly recommend this gem!
m. G.
Very posh, I give only 4 because: to go to the bathroom you have to go literally behind the poor singer, there is a palc and everything and you need to go trought it... Basically you announce all the public and the singer that you are going to drop one.... I would expect more from a place in. Leicester Square. 2nd, the dresses of the concierges ladies are horrible in my opinion, you should have done something more formal with a jacket, like a tailleur Chanel but not chanel... You supposed to be posh😂😂😂... My sparkling water... Great, my friend took the wine...

I’ve travelled to many incredible hotels around the world and I have never had the experience that I’ve had over the last couple of day. The best customer experience I have ever seen - that’s not an exaggeration. I will be back!
M. S.
Every thing was great as usual, employees are well selected. We were served today by IOANA, best service ever. I really appreciate her great welcoming and service!

We stopped off for a quick drink. The service was amazing. Darren in particular was extremely accommodating. We will certainly be back. Awesome venue.
A. B.
Went in here before going to the piano works across the road, ordered 2 coffee's and a small snack which came to nearly £40 pounds🤦♀️ so very expensive, you'll need to be rich to stay here, but it's a lovely hotel, very smart and the staff were very pleasant.
