R. T.Good place for a drink and lunch. Pretty much your typical pub, just cleaner. Lots of space and reasonable pricing.
Some quirky bar staff in positive sense.
Be careful not to find yourself behind the bard on your way back from the gents - doors are confusing. There are stories of mates naver making it back to the table from toilet due to this confusion...
M. B.The menu wasn't vast, and no childrens menu, but this was a case of quality over quantity. The food was definitely not your usual pub fare. This was genuinely great food. Home and hand made quality. The chicken strips were moist and juicy, with lovely light batter/ crumb. The pad thai was the best i have eaten outside of a restaurant. Our group are quite the foodie and not easily impressed but everyone enjoy what they had ordered. I would have no issues in returning again in the near future with more of mybfoodie friends

The pub was very quiet for the afternoon I don't know if that's normal as this is my first time have been here.
The pub deco was a bit dull but it clean and well maintained.
Order our meal had to wait a while for it but when it arrived it was cooked well.
The food is a reasonable price.
The staff were lovely.

New Land Lord is so friendly and great at communicating with his customers. The staff are all working so hard and together as a team.
Food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was outstanding.
Still enjoying the beer football and atmosphere. This is a must Olde English London Pub that must be experienced.

J. D.Love this pub. One of the only places to watch live football and outside TV in beer garden is a jewel in their crown. Great for groups or couples - Monday movie night a must! Wide selection of drinks with a few specialities which make a nice change.
J. M.I stayed here for a week and a half on the top floor. There was a hatch that I could open in the ceiling that allowed fresh air and light in. Hot water kettle plenty of tea, very quiet really cool skeleton keys. The car was comfortable enough for me to stay on it for a week and a half but I would say bring extra pillows. Room service as in the maid service is on point. Showers in the room have extremely hot water, there's a shared bathroom in the hallway on each floor, the bar downstairs is beautiful there's a nice Ambience with all the cool photos and interior design. There are Gardens with surprisingly succulent flowers in the UK and bumblebees. Right on a busy street where everything is accessible across from Tesco and so many other things. I have to say this was a really cool place to stay.

Who'd have thought that the best place in London to get some really good pad thai would be a pub in Tooting....but it is true!! My wife used to visit Thailand multiple times a year growing up and swears on the Long Room's pad thai. We go here sometimes just to eat it's that good. You're welcome!

Lovely bar staff 😍, plenty of room yet cosy (it's long!). They have several screens for sports of all kinds ⚽️🏉🏏🎾 but not always blarring. There's a big outdoor seating area and good food. There's a beer garden and the atmosphere is nice. The drinks are pricey (over £8 for a double G&T) but Tooting's getting kind of hip now so the days of £3 pints are over. 😞

P. J.I first came into the then Mitre in 1974 as a 16 year old to watch a group called Roogalator who weren't too bad.
The lay out of the pub has changed very little.
As all the buses are quoting The Mitre as the next stop what a wasted advertising chance for the pub.
G. P.(Translated) we spent a few pleasant days in "The Long Room" and were very satisfied. There is no breakfast offer during the week, but there are a few places to buy breakfast on Mitcham Road. Tooting Broadway is very easy to reach by tube. By the way, the food in the pub tastes very good and the menu is quite varied and there is something for everyone. Saturday the band was superb.

wir haben einige angenehme Tage in "The Long Room" verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden. Es gibt in der Woche kein Frühstücksangebot, jedoch auf der Mitcham Road gibt es einige Plätze um ein Frühstück zu kaufen. Tooting Broadway ist sehr gut mit der Tube zu erreichen. Übrigens das Essen im Pub schmeckt sehr gut und die Speisekarte ist recht variantenreich und für jeden ist etwas dabei. Samstag die Band war hervorragend.
