C. M.An EXCELLENT stay in one of the most upscale areas of London. Great location, near nice restaurants and the hotel staff are super personable and friendly. The rooms are quaint and have character - apparently every room is different. The bar is open 24/7, and you can grab a drink there anytime. Just an all around wonderful place! I can’t wait to go back!

Have also had afternoon tea or dined here a few times. You will not find anywhere that will welcome you as warmly or cater to your every need. Tom Fraser, the manager, provides exceptional service and has always looked after us with a level of care and detail that is second to none. The setting is simply divine and it really is a hidden gem for a million reasons.
L.As much as they think I didn’t enjoy my stay, which came as a surprise. Only two things I really had issue with. But the rest were little things I brought up. I just wanted to pass things on. I’m not so good with how to say things and what to say. I’m autistic, I find it hard been among people and just in this world. I had a good interaction with several people who worked there. Had friendly conversations and a few helpful staff. Most of my stay was good! And like I said on Tripadvisor, I’d come again. As the person my partner emailed knows we did enjoy our stay, minus a few things. I wouldn’t return if I didn’t have a nice time. It’s a beautiful hotel. Staff I didn’t get the names of, which I would mention for good points, but life’s hectic and I didn’t get the names. The afternoon tea room is very quirky. The entrance is nice to walk into. The little details I noticed and enjoyed. I’ve stayed at many hotels, I’ll pick things up and share my experience. I would recommend this place.

L. V.One of the most gorgeous and unique boutique hotels in the world. Each of the rooms are different and very unique. The bar is wonderful. Tea service is lovely (they even have a special tea for younger guests). You don't have to be staying at the hotel to come for tea or stop in for drinks, so I'd recommend stopping by even if you don't stay here.

Great hotel, with great rooms, overlooking the gardens and so close to everything! The room service and the hotel room itself was extremely nice and beautiful. The staff in the hotel were really attentive and left us little gifts and notes based on our conversation and made us feel really really special. Nothing to fault, it was such an amazing stay and Tom and his team made it all really nice for us, thank you so much!

There are soo many reasons to love this place , first and foremost the most extraordinary lovely staff . It seems to be that in order to get a job there you must really love people and my goodness it’s such a shock the first time you go there , the staff are so nice it makes you realise how rude indifference is the norm elsewhere .The hotel itself is simply stunningly beautiful , the interior design is breathtaking , every single thing is presented perfectly . My friend said even his coke was perfection , I recommend the tea that has become my Christmas tradition when my niece was a little girl , and for birthdays with friends . But dinners and lunches there are also spectacular , memorable , and worth every penny . I stayed here once for a month 25 years ago and never forgot it , the rooms are out of this world.My dream is to live in a hotel ( like Liz Taylor did with Richard Burton ) this hotel would be my choice . Discreet , small , intimate ,absolutely beautiful , flawlessly run .

S. Y.Dinner at Cheneston’s. This hotel is a historic building hotel, it looks quite nice. There is welcoming service at this hotel, this restaurant serves you bread first then the food you ordered. Sometimes the chef will serve you a gift dish. The dessert at the restaurant are very nice. There is a fireplace and nicely designed candles, people always feel cozy and warm there.

The location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing but is small enough that it is a welcome quiet place after busy London. The food, is great! Basically I have no negative comments about this hotel. The rooms are on the small side compared to American hotels but they lack nothing. The rooms are quiet, clean, well appointed and the air conditioning works perfectly.
I had a very early arrival because my flight landed at 7 am. I arrived at the hotel at 9:30 expecting to have my bag held until check I. Later in the day. They had my room ready at 10 am!!

The food was also fantastic! You get wonderful homemade cookies and champagne waiting for you in your room, a delicious breakfast buffet, and we even had warm biscuits with clotted cream and jam delivered to our door unrequested before dinner. My only complaint was that our King bed was actually two small beds pushed together, which really was only frustrating because they each had separate sets of sheets. It made sharing the large bed feel somewhat pointless. That aside, my night at the Milestone Hotel will likely remain one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life.

The manager of this property deserves a gold star - perfect stay. I was a little nervous because the property seemed older (being downtown London), but thought the atmosphere and aura was extremely well maintained. What class. Even the coffee was the best cup I've ever had, and that's not why I'm writing this review (2 months late.) The attention to detail on everything was perfect- they even wrapped all of my charging cables with neat velcro organizer things. Stay here. Definitely stay here.

果.We stayed at the Milestone over a weekend, from Friday to Monday. The customer service is really on the ball and they allowed us to check in early, which was great after an early flight. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and the service in the bar is really professional. The room was a little disappointing though, stains on the walls where the air con is and all of the furniture was getting tired. It also had a dull drone from the lift ( although not bad enough to lose sleep but ask for a room away from the lift) and the faint aroma of old cigarette smoke. Also, no power point in the bathroom, aside from the usual shaving socket which was a little annoying.... Still, given the excellent service, most of this can be forgiven and the hotel is one of the better places I have stayed in London.

J. C.We first stayed at the Milestone Hotel on August 26 1961,our wedding night.Our stay last weekend 22nd September was a birthday gift for my husbands 80th birthday.
The hotel is a high quality boutique hotel and the decor, furniture and fittings reflect this. Its location is good , being near Kensington Gardens. The ambience is one of luxury and comfort with echoes of a more leisurely age. The room we stayed in certainly reflected this.
The staff were very professional in dress, and demeanour, were extremely helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The hotel is 5 star standard, the food/ drink, bar, and restaurant matches this and some.Good wine list and wide choice of spirits and beer, and non alcoholic drinks.etc Mealtimes were a pleasure to look forward to. What more can one ask for in London on a week- end break or even longer if you are lucky.
From stepping into the hotel on Friday until leaving on Sunday was a most pleasurable experience which we will repeat . Thank you.

Chloe who handled everything for us was an absolute star and Kajan (I hope I've spelt her name correctly) was an amazing waitress who made our visit even better. The range of vegan and vegetarian options were different and extremely tasty. We'll definitely be returning here for more afternoon tea visits!

I was worried that the staff would be able to sniff out that I was staying at a hotel way above my usual class, but the were all incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. My fiancee and I felt absolutely pampered. From the valet, to the concierge's dinner recommendations and subsequent reservations, to our complimentary room upgrade and hand-delivered treats. They even snuck in to place rose petals, candles, chocolates, and champagne when I mentioned that I would be proposing to my then girlfriend during our stay. I desperately hope to be able to return to this wonderful hotel.

C. T.Lovely Afternoon Tea at the Milestone. On our first trip to London, we were unable to land a spot at the well-known places. So, we booked The Milestone for tea, instead.
Tea was served in an intimate charming room with a few tables, sofas and chairs just right for small groups, and, located off the main lobby. Service was excellent, with a nice selection of teas that our waiter graciously replenished.
The assortment of petite finger sandwiches was good, the scones with Devonshire cream, excellent, along with a nice selection of pastries.
This is not a place to see or be seen, rather a place to come with dear friends or family, to relish a quiet, intimate atmosphere. This was our first tea in London, so we are not able to compare it to other places, but, we enjoyed our afternoon here, and, would definitely recommend it.

M. S.I bought my grandparents a Champagne Afternoon Tea here as a Christmas gift, all organised seamlessly through Leo. They absolutely loved it and said it was on a par with, if not the best, they'd had in London; they've previously had Tea at both the Ritz & Claridge's.
Beautiful location, building & decor, alongside all the tea, sandwiches, scones, cakes etc. they needed and more. Waited on by Callum on the day who they also said was great. Highly recommend!
K. M.Everything was spot on perfect. The staff will go above and beyond anything you ask. We needed an Oyster card for the tubes, I asked the concierge if they could get them for us- yes they did ! Public transit is very close and they even helped us with what bus, tube to take. Dinner here was an outstanding affair in a quiet and very cozy dining area. We had a side by side tasting of Irish and Scottish Salmon, the Scottish was the favorite at our table. The main course Dover Sole was cooked to perfection. This with the expert wine pairings made this a dinner to remember. I highly recommend this excellent hotel.

Always kind people who work here and good food, but the scones were a little dry the last tine we were there and I do miss a chocolate cake which isnt to sweet and a cake with more berries. I did not receive a welcome drink, but received a free room upgrade a suite and received delicious cookies and tea upon arrival into my room.
The Penhaligon's amenities are excellent! The room wifi was great, and the gym was excellent.
The hotel is located right across the street from Kensington Gardens. There is a tube stop just a block away. Lots of stores nearby.
I will definitely try to stay again if I come to London!

I was 1 of 5 lucky winners on the Today show picked to attend the Royal wedding in London, and to stay at the breathtaking, exceptional customers service, and overall Gem .
The head of the opulent 56 all suite luxury hotel is Andrew... He always greeted you with the biggest smile, warmest hugs, and loudest laughs. There never was a no during a stay, simply more so "let make that happen".
We experience only the best of the best... From Caviar sandwich's and English Tea at High Noon, Triple Chocolate Ganache, with raspberry mousse on the side. etc etc etc...
Wake up calls came with Fresh hot tea , shortbread and a sweet note... One of the very personal touches that I love about this place is all the fresh flower... Most of all the flowers are Red , but you do get some pink rose served with your tea.
I cant tell Andrew, Sunny, Steve at the front door!!! Lorena and anyone else , that I have forgot their name. Thank you enough for the bottom of my heart, this trip was more then I could have possibly dreamed!!!
Also the Highlight off my trip was Sabering Champagne bottle...Yup I DID it...

The staff were all, without exception, superb, helpful and genuinely friendly. The room had a view over the park with Kensington Palace dominating. So much so we were inspired to visit the Diana exhibition there that morning. Lyla loved to be in the room where Queen Victoria was born, and another where she was told she was Queen.
The room was spacious and yet cosy. All the small touches which separate a truly exceptional hotel from a great one. The notes, the robes and slippers laid out, the treats. The supplied bedtime reading was a new and very charming perk. The sofa bed for our daughter was soft and huge, she was out like a light.

I normally have the chicken pot pie as does my wife and finish our meal with a cappuccino in the lounge.I am lucky in my work to have traveled the world and stayed in many of the best listed hotels, the milestone in my opinion is the best hotel in the world.
I have never encountered such consistent service and quality of staff and food anywhere else in any other hotel, this hotel is the true definition of 5 star !!

It's a renovated old Victorian house, right in front of Kensington Park, so it was nice to take a leisurely stroll through the park at the end of my London trip. Notting Hill was also very close.
It's a good memory to always have sweet snacks and postcards taking notes of tomorrow's weather on the side table when you go out and return.
The interior of the tea room and the restaurant is both antique and beautiful. I ate dinner once, and I thought it was a lie to say that wow British food is not good. I recommend you to try it at least once in the hotel. Of course, all prices are great, but they are worth it.

외출했다 돌아오면 항상 달콤한 간식과 내일의 날씨를 메모한 엽서가 사이드테이블에 놓여있었던 것도 좋은 기억입니다.
티룸도 레스토랑도 인테리어 고풍스럽고 아름다워요. 디너를 한 번 먹었는데 오우 영국음식맛없다는 말 거짓말이란 생각이 들었어요^^ 호텔안에서 한번 쯤은 꼭 드셔보시길 추천해요. 물론, 모든 가격은 대단한 수준입니다만 그 값어치를 합니다.
참, 버스정류장과 지하철역도 가까웠어요.
