Had a great stay at this hotel. Staff at the front desk were lovely and very helpful. The rooms were very tidy & comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable and allowed for a good night's sleep!

Very nice hotel! The service was wonderful and the room were very clean and nice. I am going to only give it a 4/5 stars since we had teatime in the hotel and for £25 per person I was shocked when I found not one, but two hairs on my sandwiches. Other than that however everything was great!

Nice hotel. Very clean with a fantastic breakfast. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Was v disappointed as our TV was broken and was not fixed the whole five days we were there.

Had a treat for wife, the room was very nice, large and comfy. The bed was huge and so nice. The bathroom was clean and the bath had a jacuzzi function. Only downside was the breakfast, bit disappointing. Lots of choice but hot food not the best.
S. B.
This place is wonderful and has arguably the best fish and chips in London. The concierge is extremely helpful and made my entire trip so much easier. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel. We arrived on Saturday at 4pm and checked into our Executive King Room. The room was of a decent size with a seating area, desk with mirror, flat screen TV and a large wardrobe and minifridge. The bathroom was large with a selection of toiletries and bathrobes. The bath also had a whirlpool which was great. The breakfast had a large selection with hot and cold buffet and all the usual selection of drinks, cereals and pastries.
The spa is connected to the hotel and it is an additional cost of £10 per person for a day pass. Had we bought our swimwear, we would have used this facility.
The hotel was able to store our luggage after check-out which allowed us to visit some of the nearby sights.
It is directly opposite the V&A museum with Harrods and Sloane Square within walking distance.
Overall a fantastic hotel and a wonderful stay.

First class Hotel staff fab food amazing
Nothing to much trouble. Definitely will return. And rooms good size also
Only thing is we couldn't go out on the veranda as door was alarmed. But we understand why

Me and friends have stayed at this hotel for our girly weekend. We found the hotel was very good and the staff were attentive. Rooms were clean and spacious. What can I say about the beds and pillows. They were very comfortable. We had the best sleep ever. Good breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks you.

Excellent! Great food and service! The staff were always professional. The concierge Pablo was especially helpful. Fantastic location, highly recommended 😀

Stayed recently for a local show, very clean and friendly staff, good breakfast, very handy for Royal Albert Hall, 8min walk, and for all museums, just 5min to Harrods.

Fab stay. Very good service from all staff. 4 stars because with 5 in breakfast they were too busy to cook an omelette. Go figure.
G. B.
Cream tea was very good a nice selection of sandwiches cakes sconces and lots of clotted cream. Staff were very helpful making sure that we had very thing we needed.

Perfect location, professional staff. The rooms are a lot bigger than your average London hotel. The breakfast areas offers you a range of sweet and savoury treat. I would recommend their restaurant for dinner - the chicken is Halal.👌👌
D. H.
Very nice hotel in a good part of London. Friendly and attentive staff. Good food and service. A lovely room and very quiet.
E. P.
Staff are all friendly. The location is opposite the V&A museum, the coffee shops in South Kensington were quirky with a great atmosphere, the breakfast at the hotel was perfect and despite it being v busy the rooms were quiet. Definitely visiting again.
K. B.
Really nice hotel. Staff were friendly and very professional. Well done and thanks for our stay. 👍

Excellent hotel in a great location for an event at the Albert Hall. Online check-in and out was useful, comfortable room and a superb breakfast in the morning. Staff were very friendly and helpful and overall a very good experience here.

Beautiful hotel and the inside is beautiful aswell. Very old style hotel but the staff are professional helpful and will ensure you have the best stay possible. The location is one of the best in terms of ease to get to places you want to visit. The rooms are spacious comfortable beds and set out with all you need for your stay. The breakfast was included and it was well worth it in the morning get filled up before your busy day of exploring. I will be coming back to this hotel as you get what you pay for and I think its more then worth the money. Thank you to all the staff at the rembrant Hotel I will be back.

Fabulous! From checkin yo checkout the staff were brilliant. The room,537, wss spacious and comfortable with views of the V&A. Breakfast was fantastic. Looking forward to staying again.

Haven't stayed there, but the ambience is great. Attended a three day practice nurse training. The meals were great.

Been here a few times, really like it, good breakfast and evening cocktails. Reasonably priced and great location for the museums, local cafe's, the underground and Knightsbridge shopping

This hotel was excellent for our family trip to London. Great breakfast and dining. Close to subway.
K. M.
Nice hotel, well located with a very nice breakfast. The "traditional afternoon tea" was a bit pricey, but well worth it.

Amazing rooms, fabulous food and the staff are so wonderful, they made our stay extra special. Would highly recommend this lovely hotel. Great location for museums & Hyde Park.

Regularly stay here when in London, right in the centre of the area we frequent, museums, restaurants, shopping!

Lovely spot in the middle of Kensington. Staff and room was lovely.
My air conditioning unit attempted to do an impression of Noah’s flood at one point, but that was quickly fixed.
j. W.
Bit old fashioned needs a refurbishment, feels a bitc1970s! but staff friendly and it was fine for a dtonk
C. M.
Great hotel opposite V&A Museum in Kensington & 5 min walk to Tube Station.
Lovely room, comfy bed, jacuzzi bath!
Free drink in nice bar with friendly service 😁
P. S.
Lovely hotel, very friendly and efficient staff. Good light snack for lunch and a very good buffet breakfast well above what one has come to expect..
Only slight niggle was the temperature in the bedroom, no instruction as to how to turn aircon to a minimum temperature. Otherwise our basic level room was well appointed, quiet even though we faced the front and had a great shower over the bath. Would have liked to have been told on booking that this level of room did not have a walk in shower but only a minor issue.
A.
The location of the hotel is great. The staff is very friendly. However, the hotel is quite expensive and for the price I would expect rooms that are in a better overall shape. The bedside tables were a bit too scuffed and there were some sediments on the shower curtain holder. The plank floor under the carpet made noises and gave way. However, the room was clean and the overall look and feel of the hotel was good.
S. F.
Superb hotel! Have used it many times. Very comfortable and conveniently located for museums and transport links.
S. N.
A solid 4 star rating for this.
The hotel itself is a bit dated, not in a glamorous saving the vintage integrity kind of way although, it is presentable.
I was in a basic standard room, there for 1 night which breakfast was included.
The room was spacious for a basic standard room, the bed was comfortable.
The toilet was a bit tight as my leg was placed on the sink when sat down hence it was pretty uncomfortable. The shower was good enough for a night.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
There was not a lot of selection for breakfast and the gluten free options were only cereal 😔. We were able to order pouched eggs from the waiter, although they are not readily waiting on you, I had to run past one to get their attention 😂.
Overall, a basic hotel in a very good location.
P. C.
A score of 4 out of 5. Nice room but with a pillar by the bed making life difficult and the room is getting slightly 'worn', maybe needs a refresh. Bar service can be a bit slow when a wedding party arrives and there's only one barman! Polite helpful staff and good food and general decor add ambience. Convenient position. All in all a good hotel, does what it says on the wrapper, and that's about all.
J. C.
The hotel is situated in a superb location directly opposite the V&A museum. Reception was friendly and efficient and our room was very clean and pleasant and of a good size. Breakfast is buffet style with a good selection of hot and cold food and efficient and friendly service.
Unfortunately our evening meal was not up to the same standard. Despite being very quiet, service was slow and fragmented; we had to wait a long time for our wine to arrive and this was the same with desert. Nor was the food particularly special. The Shepherds Pie was very fatty and the accompanying beetroot salad was just - beetroot. The fruit salad consisted primarily of large chunks of melon and apple with a few strawberries cut into tiny pieces and a scattering of blueberries -no cream or ice-cream was offered. We would have expected something rather better in a hotel of this quality.
I would be happy to stay at the hotel on another visit to London but would be wary of taking another evening meal.
J. M.
Friendly front of house staff. Can't comment on rooms as I didn't stay but really helpful during a gig I did herr
P. T.
Super hotel. Had a reduced rate because of pandemic, I looked at prices when isn't in lock down, and would gladly pay the going rate. The room was comfortable and very clean and the staff were lovely.
D. J.
Room was a bit dated buy overall an enjoyable stay.

Very pleased with our one night stay. The hotel was clad outside in scaffolding but the inside was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Directly opposite the V and A , and a short walk to the Royal Albert Hall, so ideal for our needs. The room was spacious, very comfortable and clean . We took advantage of the early evening discount on the food and drink in the Bar, and enjoyed our meal. The cajun chicken burger was somewhat tough and hard to cut, rather than succulent , but tasted ok. Breakfast had plenty of options. both continental and full English .Croissants were soft rather than crisp and freshly baked, but that's my personal taste. Plenty of other restaurants nearby if you do not want to eat in the hotel.
All staff were courteous and welcoming.
This hotel was new to us and we will certainly be very happy to return.
C. E.
Nice hotel in a great location. Stayed here on business. Quite a small and dark room given the price paid. Could maybe do with a bit of maintenance. Breakfast was nice and staff were helpful. Worth noting that you have to pay additional daily fee for use of gym.
D. S.
Greeting was quick and efficient getting us to our room and settled after a long flight, that was what we needed. The Hotel is located in a great part of town within easy access to many sights and great eating spot. The housekeeping people always friendly and seemed to know our schedule for when to clean our room. they kept the room clean and always replenished the bathroom soaps and such.
A great buffet breakfast with everything possible to eat to energize for the beginning of every day. The staff were always right there when you needed something and willing to go extra steps to make sure you were satisfied with the whole dining experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone be it family or business.
K. M.
A house of quality. Staff very friendly and supportive. Rooms clean and in very good shape. Bath with wirlpool function, hair dryer, German compatible power supply. Very good bed. Good breakfast with the expected range of food. Worth the price we paid. We would definitely come back!
N. L.
Location excellent. Breakfast provided lots of options, but quality was hit or miss. We tired of breakfast by day three. A little pricey, but hard to beat the location. Room was a nice size. Reception was very welcoming and let us check in early since our room was ready. Overall a great stay.
P. F.
Beautiful hotel nestled nicely between the museums, Knightsbridge and Hyde Park. Not to grand, but for the money the service and standards are above what you pay for so we'll worth it.
B. L.
We have stayed here before and came back. So clearly they are doing the important things right. Great location. Homey rooms. Nice staff. Big breakfast included. Showers are small but fantastic hot water pressure.
Here are the things that could have been better:
Breakfast offering was not as good as before. It was decent but before I loved it. It dropped in quality and variety...
We were supposed to have a free cell phone to have for emergency or gps. We were not given this feature/benefit which was not a deal breaker but annoying when you expected it...
They charge for pool & sauna access...
P. S.
As returning guests we already knew what to expect while staying at the Rembrandt.
As usual we registered for the early Check-in option (£40 extra) however unfortunately again it was not available, a little frustrating as this is not the first time this has happened which makes it difficult to make firm plans,
Having said that reception staff were great and ensured that we got a nice room once we were able to get access, the complimentary bottle of wine for my wife's birthday was a very nice touch.
Overall we did enjoy our stay but would recommend the hotel look at some areas particularly the Bar area and the food served in it, which we felt does not fully represent the hotel as well as it could
T. H.
Perfect location (in front of the V&A museum) and great staff. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.
Everything you need is supplied including water, teas and coffees.
Their spa is amazing!
A plus was the nice card and gift that they left on our room due to our Anniversary. Lovely gesture!
Definitely not the last time!

Lovely stay. Rooms were very clean modern and comfortable.
Breakfast was great.
Only criticism we had was on the morning of our departure having gone down for breakfast and returned to our room that we found our room was being cleaned which made us feel slightly uncomfortable when going back to the room as we hadn't quite finished packing our bags and it was only 9.15am! Cleaner didn’t apologise for entering the room before we had checked out and continued to clean whilst we packed up our bags. Very strange!
S. W.
Mostly positive the room was fabulous (Grand King ) and the bed was wow. Very good breakfast (best time before 8.30 as gets busy coffee needs to be stronger. Restaurant and food a good standard and staff attentive. The bar could do with some improvement in terms of selection of drinks some cocktails could not be made. But this didn't make our experience any less. Room service was excellent and our room was cleaned every day to s very high standard. Would recommend this hotel and will be staying again very soon.

New Friends Made - A Truly Exceptional Stay. This was a first time visit for my husband and I and we cannot praise it enough. The staff, the room and our dining experience was amazing. There is no where better to stay in London than The Rembrandt. A special mention for Jackie on reception and the extraordinary service of Neil on concierge. They are an absolute credit to the Company. Thank you very much for everything and see you again soon.
A. R.
Pleasant, comfortable hotel with reasonable rates. All the staff, including cleaners, were smart, helpful and welcoming and the bar staff worked very hard. We have stayed twice now and will certainly return the next time we need to stay in London. We would recommend your hotel.
C. H.
Staff friendly and helpful
Bottle of wine in our room as it was my birthday.
Breakfast was good, albeit busy.
Room was lovely, there was a lack of plugs, only two. I had to unplug the hotel guide phone to be able to charge both our phones up.
We had been told we were upgraded to a executive double, which was a nice gesture- the bedroom was lovely however the bathroom was dated and needed TLC which was dissapointong - for a £200 room I would have expected a nicer quality. It was functional and clean, just dated.
It wouldn't stop us visiting again necessarily, everything else we enjoyed.
P. B.
Great location for our visit to the nearby museums, and 2 mins walk from tube station. Check in was very expeditious, staff all welcoming and courteous. Room very modern and clean, bathroom pristine and water jet bath in a standard room was a nice touch.
Breakfast was very nice, and staff couldn’t have been more helpful when dealing with food allergies.
I would definitely stay at the Rembrandt again for future visits to this area of London.

Not knowing anything about the hotel or the area, I booked this based on price. Upon arrival at the hotel and walking in the staff were very friendly and helpful. I arrived early so could not get my room, which was fine. Took a 5 minute walk down the street and arrived at Harrods which was great. The walked in the other direction passed the hotel to South Kensington, which was another fantastic area. As far as the hotel goes, the room very super clean and each morning the breakfast provided in the dinning room was amazing. The only thing is I wish the individual making the omelettes could have two burners to speed things up. Overall it was a great hotel in the perfect location to EVERYTHING
B. C.
The reception and housekeeping staff are wonderful. Incredibly helpful and attentive. The staff in the bar need a bit more training - I waited 40 minutes to get afternoon tea.
The location makes the hotel. However, the facilities need updating: hallways need painting, carpets need to be replaced in some areas, decoration and furniture are quite dated, room amenities are low end, and breakfast is repetitive with no real healthy hot-foot options.
F. B. W.
In terms of all the important aspects of staying with a hotel, the Rembrandt was perfect for our needs. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and polite and we really don't have any actual complaints. Our dinner at the restaurant was decent value for money, and the morning buffet was great. We will definitely come back to the Rembrandt the next time we are going to London, also because of the ideal location close to Hyde Park and access to the Picadilly Line.
Only thing we were wondering, was why there was no toilet brush with the room. We asked a maid, who explained that not every room in the hotel had a toilet brush, which just seem weird to us. But that did not take anything away from our most satisfying stay with the hotel.
S. S.
You will see from your records that I do stay with you on a number of occasions throughout the year and have done so for many years. I am always warmly welcomed and very well cared for. Neil and his team are superb.
I have always particularly enjoyed my breakfast, a good start to a long day of meetings. Unfortunately yesterday was a disappointment. The quality of your food is good, particularly the sausages, but yesterday my food taken straight from the buffet was cold. Cold scrambled eggs, not good. Perhaps the heater unit was not working efficiently, but it is something to monitor. Nevertheless I shall return next year.
G. R.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 nights at The Rembrandt. The rooms were not large by USA standards but very adequate. The bathroom was modern and clean and service was excellent. The breakfast buffet was extensive and food was very good. The restaurant/bar was very comfortable and relaxing with a good menu.
M.
When planning to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary in London, I focused on centrally located hotels that offered quality and amenities at a reasonable price. My beliefs that I found that in the Rembrandt were solidly confirmed from the moment we arrived for our 4 night stay. The staff was not only professional and extremely service - minded, but very personal and friendly as well. The room was clean and accommodating, lacking nothing. The breakfast was wonderful as was the afternoon tea we enjoyed on two different occasions. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful experience to remember!
A. K.
Another wonderful place, top end of Kensington, very close to natural history museum and Victoria and Albert museum 😀

We are groups of runner from Indonesia who run in Virgin Money London Marathon 2019.
At first, hotel location is very strategic - near to train station, near to shopping area, and there are lots of restaurant selection in the neighborhood. Hotel staffs are very friendly, helpful, and attentive - starting from the reception, in the restaurant, as well as the room cleaner.
Room is cozy, clean, easy to manage desired room temperature, clean. Bed is comfy. Bath is clean, and bath tub with jets is great.
Breakfast is very nice - and we are very happy that hotel was helped us to serve early breakfast by 6 am as we want to leave hotel earlier for London Marathon 2019.

we stayed for our honeymoon, they made us feel like royalty it was absolutely amazing place to stay. ALL staff are lovely, friendly and very helpful. food was incredible also, its in a great location! we are going to make this our place of hotel when staying in London, we going to go back every year on the 28th November to celebrate our anniversary. 100% recommend this amazing hotel x
S. M.
A big thank you to all, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. On arrival, the lovely receptionist knew it was our Wedding Anniversary and we were given a club room, at the back of the hotel, quiet and a great room. Room no 167 was immaculately cleaned and our Housekeeper was very efficient. Breakfast and our evening meal was also really good. All your staff seemed well trained and very, very polite and helpful. We really did enjoy everything about this hotel and the icing on the cake was the location. We will definitely return.

We always love The Rembrandt and have stayed many times over 16/17 years. This time we had one or two issues. Firstly in the bar it took over 30 minutes to get a cold cup of coffee when the staff did not appear overly occupied …. If staff are in public areas they need to be busy attending to guests. The second issue was that our first floor room was right above a noisy disco that was louder than we could reasonably have our TV on - felt like we should be doing karaoke - We were moved to a peaceful room the following night and not charged for the disturbed evening for which we were grateful. As with any business mistakes can be made and it is how those mistakes are rectified that is important. So, thank you for putting things right . The front desk and concierge staff were absolutely wonderful and could not have been better, making us feel so welcome as guests. We still love The Rembrandt!!
W. A.
We were six nights this time and enjoyed a lovely room (650) that was excellent and quiet. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. Breakfast is always a treat and usually a unique experience, never knowing where you might sit. One waiter, Johny was consistently friendly and helpful. The reception staff were always very pleasant and helpful.
One suggestion, for our room - a hanger for a towel adjacent to the shower would be helpful. Fabulous shower!
We have had the opportunity to stay at the Rembrandt many times over the past 10 years and will continue to do so! Thanks for a great visit.
E. B.
This was our first stay at The Rembrandt and we were incredibly impressed from the moment we arrived. We were able to pay a bit extra for an early check-in (10am) which was a huge help and the desk staff were efficient and helpful. The room was lovey and quite large for London with all the inclusions that you would expect. Restaurant and room service were both good and all the staff that we encountered were friendly.
We will certainly be returning!
R. S.
We stayed at The Rembrandt for two nights in January. Room was very comfortable and well equipped. Bed very comfortable. On the first morning we found the cooked breakfast food to be only luke warm and served on cold plated. This was disappointing given the food quality was good. I complained to the waiter and the following morning the food was warm. The lounge bar was pleasant and service good. We did not get time to enjoy the pool & fitness suite this time. Hopefully next time we stay we will visit this facility.
Overall, a good stay in a nice hotel.
H. S.
The Rembrandt is close to the Underground, restaurants and the Victoria and Albert Museum. The rooms are large and well designed with the small bathroom in a twin classic room being the only challenge for families.
The front desk staff and concierge are amazing and so helpful. Breakfast offers many options and ask for their delicious hot chocolate.
This is a great hotel for a weekend stay or a short business trip.
T. E.
(American Reviewer) this is definitely a 4-star hotel. They were All friendly, from the concierge to the omelet maker to the cleaners. Everyone was hospitable. The complimentary breakfast was adequate and they brought ice buckets to our room upon request for free. Their rooms could do with a bit of updating, but other than that, our week here was great! No vending machines, but their bar stays open late.
j. l.
Very good hotel great services a very good breakfast
A. S.
We came here 2 years ago and loved it, so when we knew we had a trip to London this year, it was an obvious choice because of the great service we received 2 years ago. And we were not disappointed! In fact they recognized that we were return guests and gave us a complimentary upgrade. The concierge remembered us as well from 2 years ago and made arrangements for us. The included breakfast is a plus!
A. H.
My husband and I had a fabulous overnight stay in this lovely hotel on a secret escapes deal. The hotel was great from start to finish. The staff were very attentive and happy to help with any questions. The room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Will hopefully return sometime. The hotel is in a great location too, opposite major museums, lots of lovely restaurants and just down the road from Harrods.
N. S.
We arrived and were greated by your very friendly staff. Neil at the concierge's desk and Andreae at the check-in area were especially helpful! We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and had a very nice bottle of wine as a surprise in our room! Hotel location couldn't have been better for access to the Airport, Tube and City sites. Room was comfortable, clean and quiet and our maid kept the room sparkling our entire stay. Breakfast every morning was delicious too. Very busy ..but we were always seated quickly.
D. D. G.
Stayed with my partner over the weekend to treat ourselves and celebrate her birthday. The staff were superb, the room spacious, and well equiped, the bed was particularly comfortable. We used the gym and the spa. Good facilities, the jacuzzi in the spa was really good. We will repeat.
a. m.
Our stay was to be a special occasion so I booked an executive king room & was therefore very disappointed to be allocated a very small room albeit with a king size bed. I hate complaining but felt I must, being elderly we needed room to relax between excursions outside the hotel. I felt the attitude at reception was most disinterested & was grudgingly given a much bigger room that suited our needs.
Breakfast standards were variable. Some days the plates for cooked breakfast were cold & the croissants were not always fresh.
G. W.
Good location. Breakfast was dissapointing..chef needs to make sure the food is hot and more importantly served on a hot plate. We actually got our Porridge served after the english breakfast came.
M. F.
Our stay in the Rembrandt was very pleasant. The hotel is in a wonderful location. We had a deal through Secret Escapes which included £70 off food during our stay.
Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom was fine and very clean - surprised by the old fashioned shower curtain but it worked. No storage space for toiletries except around the washbasin and the hand towel holder was fixed in the tiles just above there which was a bit inconvenient as the towel knocked over the toiletries when being used. No toilet brush , which is slightly annoying..
Had a drink in the bar at 6 pm, taking advantage of the 'happy hour' offer, but were given a bill for the full amount. Had to request the 25% off - it was sorted out, without an apology however, but why?? Surely the staff know what the offer is.
Ate in the restaurant on our 2nd night to make use the Secret Escapes offer. The food was fine apart from the starter - an asparagus 'platter' which consisted of 4 thin asparagus stems a bit of salad and a little sauce. Hardly a platter and rather mean for £9.95!! We were presented with our bill to sign at the end of the meal. When we queried the amount , expecting the food credit to be applied, as they knew what our deal was, we were told that would be done at checkout the next day. It was, but again why not say so at the time. Why did we have to ask?
So yes, a very nice hotel with just one or two niggles which could easily be sorted out. Perhaps better communication and staff training?
B. P.
Had all amenities in room which was great.
Reception staff very friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble.
Breakfast wide variety of food.
The location of Hotel was ideal for us.
The only annoying thing about the breakfast room was that some of the staff, insisted on keep coming to the table to clear away dishes that we had not finished with, on one occasion whilst I was getting milk for my tea I came back and my butter and jam had been removed from the table, and as I have a problem walking this was annoying. It was a little noisy so I asked could I take my breakfast up to the room, but was told no. However when sitting in the foyer, a lot of the American guests were coming out with their drinks and other food items, and they were not stopped. Just wondering is there one rule for them and one rule for UK guests. Apart from this could not fault the hotel.
J. C.
The Rembrandt has been our base in London for approximately 30 years. We have always enjoyed our stays there. The staff are pleasant and prepared to assist guests. The food is good and the menus varied. The rooms are pleasant and the beds comfortable. We have only one complaint about our stay. The safe was faulty so we did not have a safe in our room. The technician repaired it twice and although it functioned for a short time, it broke again. The safe needs to be replaced. The concierge was very concerned about us and helpful when the taxi we had booked to the airport arrived very late.
I suggest a pedal bin for waste, cereal packets ,in the dining room

Following our stay in January this year our recent 3 day return was superb.
Many of the wonderful staff greet us like old friends with warmth.
We have always found the staff very helpful and ready to assist with whatever was needed.
My car was parked with the usual efficiency and knew it would be safe.
Our room was first class, spacious , clean and well equipped.
Breakfast was again first class, plentiful, huge selection , good service and good quality.
We were late coming down one day and was pleased to see all items were still available.
The hotels locations has always been a big plus for us . Very close to a number of attractions but withineay reach of the west end etc.
I was recommend joining their loyalty scheme, Sarova Select , as it provides many worthwhile benefits.
I'm certain it will not be long before we return !

Friendly comfortable lovely area to get around London already booked to go back

I was mostly very happy with my stay at The Rembrandt. I utilised the spa & gym in the morning which were both clean and well-equipped. I do wish the steam room was hotter, though or had more steam. The room was very comfortable and I love a room that includes a bathtub, so that was a big plus. I have three main issues with the room. The room itself was sweltering. Even with the coldest air on high and the window open, it was always way too warm. Secondly, the lead for kettle included in the room was too small to reach any of the plugs, so I had to stack items on top of one another to access a plug. Lastly, you are not able to log into Netflix or other streaming apps using the TV, it's just very basic programming. I feel most hotels these days of the same standard do not have these issues. Even 3-star hotels have these basic amenities so I was surprised to find these issues at the Rembrandt.
L. I.
Great value for the money. Spa is next door in an adjacent shop but well equipped and has a steam sauna as well which is nice after a long flight. About a 5 minute walk to Harrods and close to many good restaurants. Rooms are overall nice and clean.

£180 doesn't get you much these days in a central London hotel...but a tiny room with a tiny bed was poor nonetheless! Other lowlight was the awful coffee machines at breakfast that I don't actually think dispensed any coffee in the warm, milky sludge that dripped out? On the plus side, staff were efficient and cheerful, and everything as spotlessly clean. So a mixed bag really....

The room was nicely organized, clean and tidy. but the toilet had no toilet brush, this is very unhygienic. 20£ pr hour for late checkout is and insane price, especially for a four-star hotel. there is no WiFi in the room (come on its 2019). The restaurant closed before its schedule, and little to no communication about this with the receptionist. The swimming pool (which is a paid service) wardrobe smelled of urine, though we did get our money back but still. The breakfast could really need an update. English breakfast is not hot nor healthy.

The front desk staff is unfriendly. The concierge doesn’t seem to have the knowledge necessary to fully inform guests. I arrived for breakfast at 9:45 AM, breakfast is until 10:00 AM. Numerous items on the buffet were not replenished and when asked wait staff said there was no more. In the evening, in the lounge,’the waitress was rude and accommodating.
In my room I could hear when the person next door was showering.

I have stayed at the Rembrandt before. Last time, I was with my husband and it was lovely - 5 years ago. This time, I was with my son. We booked an "executive" twin room. I hate to think what a regular twin room would be like (if there is such a thing). Just because you call something executive, does not make it high quality. We checked into here after three weeks of airbnb stays. No more fancy hotels for us. Our Airbnb stays were so much better and cheaper. The staff at the Rembrandt were lovely - they were very attentive and helpful - and the dining room and bar are excellent but our room was very disappointing - cramped, poor quality TV, bad drainage in both vanity sink and bath (I was up to my ankles in water by the time my shower was finished). When you consider how much it costs to stay in this hotel, you should at least get a decent TV with proper volume controls and a good range of channels to watch. Sadly, I don't think I will stay at the Rembrandt again.

Overall the hotel was good with staff being very helpful, breakfast excellent, well located.
The only minus pints were on the room and bathroom, we found the room cold and could not warm it up.
If you are going to have a tall heated towel rail in the bathroom it’s good to make sure the whole of it gets hot not just the bottom 15 cms.
If you are going to have a jacuzzi bath make sure the pipes are cleaned on a regular basis, to run a bath and then switch on the jacuzzi and have black particles come out of the jets was very off putting to use the bath.

Staff welcome was as expected for such a grand hotel. Luxurious, but not overstated. Near to all sights and easy atmosphere in a great part/area of London.
Friendly staff and good food, good breakfast. An added extra was meeting other guests who were from many other countries & nationalities.

I have stayed here several times and have always been very pleased. The rooms are small, but very nicely decorated. The buffet breakfast in the morning is fantastic and front desk staff are very helpful. In addition, the hotel is located right across from the Victoria & Albert Museum, as well as a few steps from other museums. Also, it is walking distance to Harrods, so great location.

My husband and I spent 10 days in London and we stayed at the wonderful Rembrandt Hotel. Everything was perfect. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with a full English Breakfast display of choices. The hotel is clean and is located in a perfect part of London. The South Kensington Underground is a short 5 minute walk. The city bus line has a stop right across from the hotel. Also, three major museums are located within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. We would certainly return to this hotel for a future visit to London!

My wife and I were very happy staying at the Rembrandt! The room was wonderful, the breakfast had so much to offer, and the staff made us feel very welcome at the hotel. Although we stayed one floor above a very lively street, our room offered a very restful escape from the hustle and bustle of London. I would recommend the Rembrandt to anyone!
V. E.
I have stayed at this hotel a number of times now and have always found it to be friendly and relaxing. The staff are always very helpful and attentive. I can highly recommend the Singapore Sling in the bar.
At my last trip it was my birthday and the hotel left a complimentary bottle of wine😊😊 which was unexpected and very much appreciated 👍
D. H.
I booked this hotel through Secret Escapes as my husband had bought me theatre tickets for my birthday I wanted to be close to either the theatre or a central tube station. This is a minute walk from South Kensington (Picadilly and Circle/District line), easy to reach for both Paddington and Picadilly Circus.
We arrived early and were able to book straight into our room, although I would have been prepared to leave luggage as I hadn't informed them we would be early. The room was pleasant. The bathroom had a power shower. I did have a problem flushing the loo but my husband managed it (I only reported it when I left as we were only there for the night).
We had a share-platter deal which my husband insisted we had time to eat before leaving for the theatre, I didn't agree and the staff kindly changed the order to go. Unfortunately, two items (of five) were missing but we didn't realise till later. I mentioned it on booking out but I don't think the receptionist understood me.
The breakfast was available later than most hotels I've stayed in, as it was Sunday many of the guests took advantage of this. There was a good selection of English and Continental breakfast dishes, and a chef making fresh omelettes to guest's order. You helped yourself to tea/coffee was from a machine, there was an assortment of teabags; traditional and herbal.
We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel, light as it was, it enabled us to enjoy time in the city without lugging it about.
E. K.
Lovely old fashioned hotel with modern touches. We had an executive king room with walk-in shower (no bath at our request), overlooking a quiet side road. Furniture was smart with table and two chairs, king sized bed, desk and chair, mini bar, tea making facilities, etc - all you could want in a hotel room. Missed a radio (at home in South London radio is accessible via the TV but not here). Soundproofing between the rooms was not good but nothing that a bang on the wall did not solve! Breakfast was excellent, so many choices and all you could eat! Good transport links to all parts of London but do remind guests if using buses they need to have pre-paid tickets/pay by phone/or bank card as drivers do not take cash.

Our nine nights at the Rembrandt were comfortable and pleasant in a standard double room. I highly recommend the location for tourists who would enjoy the museums and shopping. It is a short walking distance to the underground station making it so easy and economical to get anywhere in London. Get an Oyster card. If you don't use the whole amount on the card you can get a refund at the station when you leave. The best feature was having a phone provided so that we didn't have to purchase phone service. It was invaluable for getting directions and made our visit 100% better. Coming from overseas, that alone would lead me to stay at the Rembrandt again. The breakfast was adequate but make arrangements ahead of time if you want to take it with you to avoid a lot of awkwardness. One of the concierges was fantastic and helped us tremendously. The others were not as knowledgeable or easy to talk to. Having tea and coffee supplies in the room was very helpful. The housekeepers were friendly and quick to respond to any requests.
J. D.
We had another wonderful stay at the Rembrandt. The location is great. The bar and lounge are lovely. The staff especially Neil and Pablo and team are the best concierge guys around. Thank you for making us welcome again. Exceptional.
K. K.
The entire staff was amazing - always willing to help with any request and so patient. The staff in the restaurant were particularly incredible in that they remembered our faces and always had a kind word. The hotel itself is quite lovely and was a comfortable place to stay. We were there for a meeting and the meeting and events staff were incredibly flexible and we had our best event yet because of them.
J. M.
My bed was lovely and comfortable but, even with ear plugs, a room at the front on the third floor is quite noisy. The lounge bar is useful as I sat in it till ready to leave at 12.45. However, although the use of my key to operate the lift is a sensible security device, by that time my key didn't work and I had to walk down the stairs to the general toilet.
C. S.
My niece and I stayed for 10 days over Christmas 2019. We had a great experience at the hotel. It is very clean with comfortable beds. The full English breakfast is fantastic! I highly recommend this hotel.
J. J.
We loved the location and the price was unbelievable for what was included! The hotel was lovely and the food was delicious. Unfortunately we felt it was unstaffed. We waited about 30 minutes in the bar for a drink, the one waitress was running around all by herself. We had to chase up drinks and food but felt slightly uncomfortable to ask as she was clearly working so hard! Then breakfast in the morning was similar we understand we decided to eat at a busy time but we weren't offered tea or coffee, we had to chase up a few items we'd ordered. Again this wasn't the staff not trying as they were clearly working so hard but there just wasn't enough of them. Also, I left my purse in the lobby and when returning back 5 minutes later to collect it the male member of staff told me I was lucky this time as he handed it back to me. I said I would expect be leave my purse in such a nice hotel for a matter of minutes without it going missing he explained that people are constantly walking in and out of the hotel which concerned me slightly with a level of security. Overall stay was excellent but could have done with a few extra staff.
L. I.
Very clean, tidy, well presented hotel. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. The food served in the bar during the early evening happy hour was very good. Location is very convenient - hotel is just across the road from V&A museum and London Oratory, a short walk to Harrods and easy walk to South Kensington underground tube station. I would definitely recommend and would enjoy staying there again.
Y. S.
Very nice hotel and well appointed room. My Grand room was very large and spacious, the staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. The location was great, a couple of blocks to Harrods. I will definitely be staying here again and recommend this to anyone looking for an upscale hotel in London.
D. R.
Stayed at the Rambrandt, and had a wonderfull couple of nights.Hotel was clean and welcomeing, staff very friendly and helped us out when needed.Resturant closed due to covid conditions but bar food was available and was very good, and at a resonable price. Will definatly be going back.
O. A.
This was our third or fourth visit and we will certainly return on our next visit to London.
The staff at the reception are always welcoming and helpful - especially Neil, the concierge, who makes us feel very welcome and is really efficient.
Breakfast is excellent with a big variety to offer and so is the food in the bar.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable but the bathroom needs to be renovated and modernized.
As said above - we'll be back.
V. E.
On the whole I had a very nice stay at the Rembrandt, the room was spacious and clean, the bathroom is a bit small, but very clean and fully equipped, although for older people the lack of a separate shower unit might be a problem. What I would have liked is to see more choice for the Continental breakfast, more different bread, cheese and cold cut varieties and more different types of yogurt.
J. M.
Comfortable and clean room. Nice staff and good value for a London Hotel. Great location for the museums and the local Underground will take you to anywhere in the city. The bar meals are particularly nice, too.
A. G.
The hotel room was extremely small and dated. The location and the free breakfast are the main selling points. I found the staff friendly and helpful. The pool and spa
should be taken off the website. It has a pay per day fee which I couldn't find listed anywhere.
P. M.
Charming London Hotel in the heart of Knightsbridge. The location was exceptional. I had a lovely note my last day from housekeeping which I thought had a great personal touch. Reception was polite but seemed tense with so many guests. Breakfast and a late night snack were average. The food in general could have been better presented and fresher. The breakfast room seemed chaotic. In general my stay was good but not exceptional.
P. P.
Our experience at the Rembrandt Hotel was very good. Our room was clean and comfortable and the location allowed easy access to all we wanted to do during our visit. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay again.
R. K.
Having stayed here 9 years ago we decided to come again for our anniversary and was not dissappointed. We booked a deal online through the hotel and checked in early and got a complementary upgrade whihc was welcomed.
The room was spacious and well equiped. We had booked a king size bed but the room was configured with 2 singles. This was quickly rectified by the housekeeping team. The view from yje room (166) was non existent as we looked out onto the air con units.
The bathroom was bright and spacious. The rain shower leaked out the sides and needs replacing but otherwise ok. The plug sockets were dated and need the moden USB chargers adding to both sides of the bed. The TV channels were ok, nothing great other than Freeview. The aircon worked well. In room Nespresso machine is always welcome.
Breakfast in the restaurant was nice and a variety of cuisines catered for. The bar too was accomodating , friendly and nice place to sit and enjoy a drink or a coffee.
The hotel is in a great location for getting about London and exploring Knightsbridge. but could probably do with some further in room updates to be on par with like hotels.
G. C.
The hotel itself is located brilliantly and service from staff was satisfactory. We had a light above the bath leaking water on the Saturday afternoon so we phoned to inform someone. Someone came up took a look and said he'd be back which he didn't. This meant we couldn't shower on the Saturday night before going out. Anyway we were running late so didn't shower. When we arrived back to our room at 11pm Saturday night the light was still dripping water. We phoned again to say the light was dripping water, someone else came to take a look and asked us not to use it until it had been looked at in the morning. We checked out at 10am and no one had ever been back. We booked for a Sunday carvery in the restaurant which I must add was shocking, no staff serving the meat and potatoes, no one took a drinks order, we had to ask for an alternative pudding as the the ONLY ONE offered had nuts in it and my friend is allergic to nuts, not much selection of anything really for £26. I would definitely not eat there again.
M. T.
An extremely nice hotel in the Knightsbridge district situated very close to Harrods, several museums and Hyde Park. The rooms were cosy, clean and were of a good size. The breakfast consisted of various selections including the traditional English breakfast and the continental breakfast. All in all an excellent stay.
I. C.
The spa is a joke. Getting in and out on a pool ladder is hazardous when trying to enter the hot tub. Too many children getting lessons.
Excellent breakfast, except I couldn't get a soft boiled egg no matter how many times I tried. Also the omelets were not particularly good. Fine pastries and juice selection.
Rooms are a little small by US standards and having two twin beds pushed together was not expected.
C. H.
We arrived early and there was no issue in leaving our bag with the concierge so we could continue our visit without dragging a case around with us. We were also able to complete the registration process so that when we came back in the afternoon, we could pick up our room without delay. On our return, whilst we had a few minutes to wait for our room (it wasn't quite ready), we were very pleased with it. Spacious, very clean and well equipped, an enormous bed and it was quiet. Next day we had a lovely breakfast. We noticed that new televisions were being installed which will enhance the rooms. Staff were very helpful and polite. We would definitely stay at the Rembrandt again.
T. Y.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and from all the research I did on the hotel, it met our expectations. We particularly appreciated the excellent wifi, use of the buddy smartphone for maps and calls, and the breakfast included each morning. We liked the extra space in the room and extra shelving around the bathroom sink. The location was great, with easy access to many attractions and/or the tube stations. We would like to suggest updating the mattresses to something a little more comfortable. The staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again and have recommended this property to others already!!

This hotel gave us everything we hoped for in our London stay. Our room was excellent and very quiet, which was important to us. The breakfast and dinner were both well above average and the service at both was exceptionally good. The staff in this busy hotel are very efficient and at the same time always very courteous and friendly– not an easy combination in a hotel with so many guests. We loved the large, comfortable lounge which was an excellent place to relax after the bustle of the day. If you like to visit the great Kensington museums, no hotel could be more convenient. If you want to go up to the West End, there are plenty of buses going past the door. We came home feeling very lucky to have discovered this remarkable London 'home from home' and look forward very much to being able to return.
M. R.
Friendly, helpful and kind staff who took the time to make you feel very welcome. The room was a very good size with a comfortable bed and phenomenal shower. Room service was fast with good food. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with great variety and high quality produce. All in all, a great place to stay.
V. G.
Again, I have had another wonderful experience at The Rembrandt. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The location is excellent being opposite the V&A and so close to transport, shops and restaurants. The bar downstairs is a great place to end your day with a drink. I can't wait to go back again.
T. N.
Hit and miss. Ok, and reasonable for Knightsbridge. Rooms a bit dated though. The bigger issue though is the breakfast service and the gym. Breakfast is designed to make queues and confusion. One attentive member of staff could sort the whole thing in 10 minutes. There is a gym that they advertise but it is not at all obvious that you have to pay separately to use it. That is poor from a supposedly high end hotel. Their excuse is that it's a separate entity even though there is a dedicated signposted corridor with direct key card access from hotel. Hardly any guests would use it so what it would cost them to provide this as part of the booking as nearly every other hotel does?
P.
Very central location' close to the subway and the wonderful museums. Very clean and well appointed rooms. 'Handy' was excellent. Would of liked to of had Australia on the call list. The only thing I would of liked was for breakfast to have a bit of variety. Same thing every day.... But an awesome hotel. Thanks.
H. T.
We loved this hotel! A great location in West Kensington and a short walk to the underground station that can get you right into the city. Amazing buffet breakfast included in price, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was perfect for our stay.
C. M.
As a regular guest, I enjoyed again an excellent stay in the Rembrandt Hotel. Rooms are modernized and uptodate in relation to (free) internet services.
To say it politely: the breakfast was not enjoyable: there was a lack of personnel. Many tables were filled with leftovers of earlier guests: these tables were not cleaned during my breakfast. Even worse: nobody came to ask me whether I wanted coffee or tea. I had to try to attract the attention of a waiter. When I asked for earl grey tea, I got another kind of tea. It took some time to get what I wished.
Breakfast facilities add to the appreciation of the hotel: please improve the quality and services of the breakfast. I was disappointed. I say many guests looking around desperately looking for service.
D.
Was beyond our expectations. Nice size room, great location and amazing breakfast. Only down side was not being told that we would be charged £10 each for using the pool that we thought was free as belong to the hotel itself. .
b. t.
Location is excellent for getting around London - easy access to all forms of transportation. Staff is friendly and helpful, went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Lovely breakfast buffet. Only reason I did not give 5 was because of room service. After an hour and a half we had to call back and remind them. Another 40 minutes before food arrived - which was basically unedible. Took a few bites just for nourishment but 90% of the food on the tray ended up in the hallway. Stay away from the room service and you’ll have a lovely experience!
S. M.
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and special by all staff and the complimentary bottle of wine left in our room was a lovely touch to help us celebrate our Wedding Anniversary.
The hotel was perfectly positioned for visiting the local attractions, restaurants, cafes and bars.
We'll definitely be back.
K. K.
Location, location, location. This place is located near all the great places to visit in London. The hotel and rooms were good. I was a little disappointed in the initial guest experience checking in, there was a mix up on our stay and rooms that their team tried to resolve. The gym is small and you have to pay an additional fee. But the breakfast was great!
M. C.
It is a great location, close to train station and across from the V&A and the Museum of Natural History, but the rooms are very small, the staff is ok when it comes to friendliness, you have to ask for toiletries all the time, don't even get a room with a full bed if is for a couple.... Food is really good at the restaurant and it has a nice ambiance. The hotel is clean, but it is an old building and it needs updating. If you come from America the adapters won't let your dryer work, there are no electric outlets by the beds, etc. little things that make comfort this hotel does not have it. No coffee maker, only tea kettle and instant coffee 🤔 this Hotel lacks in comfort. Three stars for its location and cleanliness.
J. G.
We have stayed at the Rembrandt several times, the first being on our wedding day many years ago, long before it became part of the Sarova Group. By a strange co-incidence we had our wedding reception at the Abbey Hotel in Malvern, (now another Sarova hotel), then got the train to London and stayed overnight at the Rembrandt. The staff are always lovely and I think because of the historical connection they upgraded us, giving us a bottle of wine and a very nice card from the Operations Manager. The room was extremely comfortable and in the morning, despite the dining room being very busy, breakfast was good and the staff coped exceptionally well.
J. H.
Fourth time at Hotel and still enjoy it. Perfectly placed for the major museums and lots of local restaurants close by. 4 minute walk to South Kensington underground. Great breakfast, great staff and good beds. Still our favourite
J. K.
We very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was warm and cosy and always nice to get a free upgrade.
Beautiful, clean surroundings. Loung/bar area is large and has plenty of comfortable sofa setting. We went to an event nearby and a group of 15 set comfortably there until 1:30AM in the morning.
Great place to meet friends. Central location to all the big Museums. Opposite natural history museum. Tube close by.
Great location. We would stay again.
D. O.
The hotel is excellent!!! Very comfortable beds, excellent food and the staff courteous and professional (thank you Pablo for the directions and recommending of your dinning room and lounge area the food was AWESOME!!!! Thank you for also recommending some of the sights to visit.KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK. I WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN AND RECOMMEND THE REMBRANDT TO ALL MY FRIENDS.
A. P.
Great location and exceptional service.
Since we arrived, they were very helpful and willing to help and service us.
The hotel location was great for us, just cross the street of the V&A and Natural history museum. closed to the Underground station, quite and friendly zone to be.
The room was bigger than we expected with a the usual commodities, the plus was the smartphone that can be used during your stay, with internet access, so you cannot get lost in the city and the option of making local calls without any charge.
One night my daughter got sick and had an "accident" in the middle of the night, we called front desk to explain the situation and in no time, someone came to change cover and sheets from the bed.
Breakfast was good enough, we didn't have the chance to try the restaurant or the bar, but I believe they should be good too.
The Rembrandt it's a hotel we are planning to stay on our future trips to London.
B. F.
Couldn't ask for a better location, just opposite the V&A museum 5 mins from the natural history museum and science museum. The room and facilities were great, a huge comfy bed and very enjoyable whirlpool bath.
Breakfast was nice and plenty of different options to choose from. We had room service one night and it was delicious! We were staying to celebrate my partners 40th birthday and it was a nice touch to leave a card and bottle of wine in the room, thank you.
It was warm when we were staying so had the air con on through the night, unfortunately it sporadically made a loud buzzing noise which disturbed my sleep.
The maids did a great job of keeping our rooms tidy, but we didn't appreciate be woken up at 8.30 on the morning of our departure to be asked what time we were leaving.
Overall staff were friendly, helpful and our stay was comfortable.
S. W.
The receptionist taking the booking did not confirm with the health club as she said she would the treatment booking. However, with a bit of messing around the staff at the club sorted it but we missed out on a treatment but reimbursed. Disappointed that we sharing the swimming pool with children having swimming lessons of which parents were wearing shoes around what would be a sanitised area with us going in and out of swimming pool and steam room didn’t work. Although bedrooms were good, breakfast was good and afternoon tea was good. The waitress who looked after us was very kind and friendly.
M. H.
Having stayed in London a few times over the years at different hotels the Remembradt is now my favourite and the hotel I plan to stay in when I visit the capital.
Location was great, just out of the hub but very quick walk, bus or tube stop away to Piccadilly and even better across the road from the V & A.
It may not be modern with lots of chrome and glass but it was homely, comfy. and welcoming. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast was the usual buffet, there was everything you need to set you up for the day and it was refreshed regularly. Drinks were usual London prices and dinner was adequate but not haute cuisine
My only real gripe was that I could not control the air con, I like a cold room for sleeping and I found that it was not possible to get the temp down.
All in all I may be back in London in August or end of Nov/beginning of Dec and I look forward to staying with you again.
Many thanks to all at the Rembrandt.
P. D.
The Rembrandt Hotel is a wonderful place to stay while you’re in London. My wife and I had a wonderful weekend stay here, the location was excellent for us both as we visited the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Royal Albert Hall for the wonderful Festival of Remembrance.
The service from the staff was excellent service and friendly atmosphere
C. W.
Very nice hotel with lovely friendly staff
S. L.
This place was great. The bar area especially was lovely and the drinks were not super expensive. Worth a visit. The hotel is a great venue for weddings as we saw during our time here. A convenient location from the museums.
E. E.
My wife and I spent a week in London this Summer. The Rembrandt is conveniently located close to the museums, shopping and sightseeing we wanted to explore. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and cozy. We liked the breakfast every morning and found it very useful to carry around the city the smartphone that came with the room - great deal that saved us from having to pay for data and roaming. We will certainly consider coming back to this hotel on our next visit to the UK.
A. J.
One of our favorite hotels in London. Excellent location in knightsbridge with easy access to plenty of pubs, restaurants, shopping, 2 tube stations. Hotel bar and restaurant are adequate but frankly you are better to go out. Rooms are good, clean and beds are comfy. It is worth the money to upgrade to a better room. Still excellent value for money.
V. S.
The hotel lobby and room were very pretty and the room was quite clean. I had paid ahead of time for early check in, but when I arrived was told it was not available which was inconvenient as it was only 10 am and we had been awake for 24 hours. The staff were mostly friendly, some more than others, and were helpful when an emergency situation came up in getting me to a hospital. Some issues that bothered us were we received a letter under our door saying we had been smoking in the room and it was a warning we would be fined if it happened again. We were absolutely NOT smoking in the room, a cigarette was left on the table and that is all. My husband only smoked outide of the hotel on the street. I feel you may want to reword that letter to be less accusatory and just given as a reminder that smoking is not allowed. Also, when we checked out there was a 50 pound charge for a meal that did not belong to us. It was a day we had left the hotel early and were gone all day to Hyde Park and Kensington palace and had eaten lunch there. So someone had either given our room number by accident, or on purpose when they ate in the dining room. We only ate in the dining room for breakfast and ordered room service once, and that charge was appropriately reflected. The man at checkout said he would look into it and I hope this is resolved. The breakfast was very good and the wait staff were very helpful and on top of clearing plates. The room was very clean, but there was a stain on the sheets I noticed on our 1st day, and I thought the sheets would be changed daily, but the next day it was still there so I had to ask to have the sheets changed. Overall I would stay there again, as long as the issue with the charge that doesn't belong to us is resolved.
A. P.
I am very impressed with the hotel staff, from the time I checked in until I checked out. Including the guest service operator on the phone - all of them offered more than what I asked for. And asked to be called back in case I did not get the service I needed.
The room may not be modern, but very clean. The bed and sheets are awesomely clean and comfortable.
P. C.
We love staying at this hotel. The reception is very welcoming, the rooms nice, and the room and breakfast outstanding.
The only negative comment concerns the quality of service at breakfast. Our waitress leaned right over me to collect my dirty plates. In my experience that is not good silver service, and is probably a training issue.
J. R.
Why wife and I stayed in London for a week. We spent our entire stay at this hotel. I would have to say that this hotel is an excellent choice. It is within walking distance to the underground and it is in a nice part of town. You are within walking distance of Harrods and a dozen different restaurants. The staff was very friendly, they gave us a bottle of wine for free. The complementary breakfast was also amazing. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting London.
j. r.
I had afternoon here for 1. It was part of a spa package with The Aquilla health and fitness next door. The tea was great. The selection of sandwiches and cakes was on point. Service was very professional. Great atmosphere. Well worth the money and would definitely visit again.
G. B.
Room was smaller than expected but clean. Bathroom was as big as the room. Bar was disappointing. We went to get a pre dinner drink and were completely ignored the entire time, by 3 different staff. One of whom was clearly a manager and another of some decided it was a better idea to put glasses away than welcome/serve us. We left having not had a drink.
K. S.
Loving it so far, still enjoying the experience waiting to see how the next 2 days panned out. Great staff at the reception.
I. M.
The room was perfect, staff friendly and helpful and location was ideal for museums.
However, the breakfast experience was disappointing. On both days, we checked in and were directed to a table. We were told a waiter would be with us soon to take our order for tea/coffee. There were a few waiters clearing and resetting tables. The room was only half full. On the first day we waited over 10 minutes then I got up to ask the head waiter for our coffees. On the second day it was a little busier, but not full. The waiters continued to ignore us. I noticed other customers were getting annoyed with the delays and some managed to queue jump us. This was poor service. After more than 10 minutes I managed to stop a waiter to place my order.
M. E.
Our pre-theatre meal was very average. Vegetables stone cold. Meat pie pastry very over cooked. Rib-eye Steak was lovely
Breakfast - everything on the buffet was cold by the time it got to the table. Overall disappointing
Accommodation nice, very clean. Ideal location for South Kensington museums and shopping .

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Rembrandt, the location is good for Knightsbridge and the tube is close by if you want to go further afield. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is good. Have however downgraded the overall rating and particularly the service rating because of problem with a restaurant reservation. We were arriving in the early evening and didn't want to go far afield to eat so booked a table in the restaurant about four weeks in advance, we received an email confirmation. On arrival we were told the restaurant was closed for a private function and we could eat in the bar. This was not ideal and when I complained the bar attendant said he had spoken to the manager who would set up a table for us in the restaurant which was now empty. As most people know eating in an empty restaurant lacks atmosphere and comfort so seemed a fairly pointless suggestion. Unfortunately the manager had neither the courage nor the courtesy to speak to me directly.

Decent venue for a Christmas party. Each year they do a Casino Royal / Bond themed event, with I believe 2-3 dates per week in the festive period. Good music, good photos, decent food. Staff were OK.
S. R.
The Rembrandt was perfectly place for my first trip alone. Close to the tube, transportation and many lovely museums. Lots of interesting restaurants and close to shopping.Staff was courteous but not very prompt.
The high tea was lovely. Most hotels ask if this is a special occasion but yours doesn't. When I confirmed the reservation, I stated that this was a birthday celebration. Thinking that they would acknowledge this in some way. It was ignored. It's the details that make a hotel special. Having said that I would still recommend this hotel .

The location right in front of the V&A is amazing, one of the best for visiting the city. Our room was extremely comfortable, very clean and quiet as well. All the comforts you may think of, you'll find them here; from tea/coffee set to iron and ironing board (and if one is a little lazy you can ask for laundry service too). The staff was extremely kind, all of them, and the concierge is available for any request or problem without being intrusive whatsoever. One last note on breakfast at The Rembrandt ... simply unforgettable; fresh baked bread and croissants, muffins and anything that makes a lavish full English breakfast - sausages, beans, mushroom, pudding, you name it. Everything, including the staff, was absolutely excellent. We felt at home while enjoying a classy stay in London.
J. M.
The hotel is in a great location, just minutes from the tube station and a 30 minute walk to almost everything we wanted to see in London. The staff was attentive and the breakfast amazing. The Handy smartphone was very useful as our phones from the US didn't work in England.

This was the 3rd time my wife and I have stayed here. Great location and food is excellent. Only change would be for the bed. Have a sheet and blanket instead of just a comforter. Gets too hot with it. Room was clean and bathroom was great. Would highly recommend and will be back for next trip.

The Rembrandt is a decent hotel in a very good location, both for my work, and visiting London. The staff are very nice, but I don't know how well-trained they are. For example, I've already stayed several times for multiple nights, but they always seem surprised when I suggest that they have all my details in their system.
Having the electricity go out for a couple of hours Tuesday evening was not impressive.
Paying upfront when you arrive is an odd practice.

Everyone associated with our stay treated us with great care! The staff was very attentive and pleasant. Everyone was very helpful! Rooms were clean and well appointed. Breakfast was outstanding. We enjoyed the lounge area also.
D. K.
Staff professional. Breakfast a good selection. The hotel is close to all amenities. The room is very clean and beds are very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.
B. H.
The Rembrandt is very conveniently located to the V & A and the other museums in the South Kensington area. With nearby tube and bus stops, the hotels is easily accessible by public transport. Even though the room was quite compact, (normal in London hotels), it was well appointed and very comfortable. The breakfast, while adequate, was not of a quality that I expected in a hotel of The Rembrandt’s standing.
P. G.
The hotel's superb location, across from the V&A and a short walk to either the South Kensington or Knightsbridge tube stations, good restaurants and a plethora of shopping, all close-by, coupled with the sumptuous breakfast and personalized service are the reasons my 8 night stay was wonderful.
I was treated like a valued guest; from the welcome from reception, the cleanliness of the room and helpful concierge services.
A. C.
The Rembrandt Hotel was a great experience. It is conveniently located. The concierge staff is the best I have ever met. Neil and Pablo made our stay worthwhile. They were helpful and friendly. The front desk staff was pleasant and efficient. The food in the restaurant and lounge was good.
P. E.
Every time we have arrived at The Rembrandt we have been warmly welcomed, the rooms clean and comfortable and a great breakfast. The staff always friendly and helpful and the position perfect for shops and museums etc.
M. B.
This was not my first time in hotel The Rembrandt. And again we had a wonderful stay! So much enjoyed the great surroundings of the hotel. Room was perfect, breakfast was complete. Jet another warm stay at this hotel. The only thing missing was Adele ;-)
C. R.
We had a lovely stay for 4 nights overall. Had a fantastic meal in the 1606 bar on the Saturday night and the breakfast is very encompassing and well prepared.
Two problems - one the air con in the room - as is often the case in the UK when it goes into winter the system no longer generates cold air and goes to heat - however the room was far too hot and we needed to cool it down but as it’s 9 degrees outside when the AC was set to 15 degrees it just pumped out hot air. Of course as we know that customers can’t be trusted with a window that opens more than a few inches for some inexplicable reason... it’s impossible to cool the room and it just gets hotter - also with the windows open the room is then very noisy!!
On the service - we had a great meal and good wine and paid the high price for it - London, Knightsbridge- we get it... but the next night we just wanted some ice in the room and it didn’t turn up despite ringing twice - the first night took 90 minutes to bring some ice and a knife to cut the apples. By the way 3 apples on a plate should not be advertised as a fruit plate - it’s 3 apples!! :)

The hotel was lovely, huge bed (we had a grand room) with a large sofa bed for our 4 year old. Well stocked tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits every day, as well as bath products.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful particularly Neil from the concierge, who was so helpful and friendly.
It would have been a 5 but I was disappointed with the breakfast, it looks so lovely on the website... My fried egg wasn't cooked and had the clear slime on the top, the sausages hadn't been browned and the hash browns were a little over done, also if you want a veggie option this is sometimes cooked upon request ( worth remembering as you may assume there are only limited offerings)
There is plenty lovely breads and pastries/cakes and the continental breakfast options were lovely, no struggle with this option.
Lovely Soth Kensington location, literally opposite the V&A.
Will definitely visit again.
M. S.
Everything was perfect in the hotel especially the staff. I loved the Christmas decorations and eye to detail in all the rooms. The location is perfect for walking to world famous galleries including the Victoria and Albert Museum. The breakfast choice was most impressive.Thank you.
E. H.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The staff was wonderful. Our room was clean. Breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect! We would stay at the Rembrandt over and over!
N. G.
Fantastic location for our museum trips. Great staff who are always about to help. We were really grateful, on the morning of checkout, that the young lady who checked us out offered for the hotel to look after our backpacks to collect later. Thank you. Overall very happy, great stay.
L. T.
We stay here when we need to be at an appointment early on the next morning. We have stayed about 3 or 4 times now and will stay regularly in the coming 12 months.
Our small niggles are
that the draught beer in the bar (Tetleys) is undrinkable. It is very unpleasant. My husband and I enjoy good beer, so please change to something better.
we found it difficult to get some crisps to go with our drink in the bar - it was strange to us that we were told that the crisps had to come from the kitchen, so would take a little while to arrive.
the orange juice at breakfast on Monday 27th tasted very sweet and concentrated, not as usual.
A slightly bigger niggle is that the early morning call that we booked in order to be up early for our appointment on Monday 27th did not occur. Fortunately we had backed up the call with an alarm on my mobile phone.
Otherwise the reception staff are very friendly and helpful as are all the staff we have met. Just had one rather grumpy waitress in the bar on Sunday evening.
P. H.
Let down due to Covid restrictions no breakfast buffet avail and no bar or restaurant open as advertised on the price when booking... Understand why but heads up would of been nice...
P. A.
Really helped solve our travel problems. Gave great recommendations on where to eat. Rooms small but certainly adequate for 2 people. Everything clean and neat and tidy.
F. K.
Overall a nice hotel, nothing over fancy, but a nice place to stay while traveling.
The bar/restaurant serves a nice meal and some proper drinks, but the breakfast buffet is not really my favourite, I don't feel the quality is the same as the rest of the food in the hotel.
The rooms are overall nice and clean, but again nothing special.
J. V.
We arrived well before noon and were immediately able to check into our room which was great! Perfect location across from museums and down the street from Harrod's. Lots of local restaurants to choose from in addition to the good restaurants at the hotel itself. Very convenient to the Tube as well. Would definitely stay here again as well as recommend to all our friends.
P. L.
We truly enjoyed our stay in London and the hotel made it great. It was centrally located with lots of restaurants and ways to get around the city Our room was very large by Europe standards and the bathroom was excellent. Would absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay there again in a minute.
T. R.
We had a very pleasant stay here. All the staff we met were extremely helpful and nice. Our room was on the 6th floor, I had asked for a quiet room as I'm recovering from a big surgery. The room would have been perfect, but the extractor fan in the bathroom made such a drone that sleep was impossible. The staff kindly let us sleep in room 149, so we could sleep. That room was bigger and very quiet indeed. I would love to stay here again but I would be anxious about the extractor drone which could not be switched off. It appears a number of guests have this same problem.

We spent 2 weeks at the Rembrandt this past April. The staff were excellent from the cleaning personal to the front desk. They were very helpful in every instance. The full breakfasts very exceptional. I would recommend the Rembrandt to anyone.
P. Z.
The Rembrandt was a great spot, close to public transport, and various restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed. I would definitely stay there again.
A. S.
Facing the Victoria and Albert museum. Very nice room got a free upgrade and free smart phone with unlimited calls and data and free international calls to selected destinations on my check-in. The service is very nice and breakfast is perfect. Easy access to transportation and a decent location. Worth the money paid. The room and bathrooms very clean with all required facilities.
K. K.
Hotel Location: Very convenient. Walking distance from Harrods, Science Museum and V&A museum.
Staff: Generally friendly and helpful....generally.. If you talk to the right ppl...
Room: Quite nice. A bit old (?) ... Bed is comfy. The aircon in the room wouldn't work for the first day, but the hotel was very quick about getting it fixed and sorted...
I. P.
We stayed here due to it's location based on our plans for a 2 night stay. Our bedroom was very comfortable and well equipped with the bed giving us a good nights sleep. The food and service in the 1606 Lounge Bar was very good, as was the breakfast.
S. K.
Good location. Very nicely remodeled. Modern. Friendly and Professional staff. Breakfast that was included was perfect. Also the gym attached is very nice and clean. Highly Recommend.
S. W.
Lovely hotel, great location. Breakfast had limited choice for coeliac guests, but evening meal options were much better. The staff very helpful and professional. Would certainly consider returning in the near future.

This was my fourth stay in three years at the Rembrandt. This time, I especially appreciated your front desk staff. When I checked in Sunday, I was greeted by Cortney and had such a fun conversation with him, about music and London and travelling. When I checked out Tuesday, the woman at the desk at 6:00 AM (I did not get her name) offered to call me a cab to Heathrow. I planned to take the tube so I declined her offer. However, when I got to the South Kensington Station, there was a service interruption and the line was unavailable. I returned to the hotel, explained my situation and called me a cab right away and got me to the airport straightaway.
Both of these front desk staff made me feel very cared-for. In addition to all your great amenities, your perfect location, etc., your staff are really tops. Thank you for another great stay. I will see you again soon.
A. C.
Very good. Room are nice, clean, roomy. Only thing was hallways are hot, not kept very cool like the rooms. Probably to keep costs down..I understand but the day I left the hall waiting for elevator was really warm.
M. K. M.
Very nice hotel with good ambience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A new feature of this hotel is the "handy phone". This is a fully functional smart phone with no roaming or data charges. You can call family at home, text, check email take photos and use the gps to get you where you want to go.
My only cautions in using it is be aware that the tour provider that comes up to purchase tickets from, is a third party vendor and you must get your ticket printed at one of their printing venues. You can go directly to the vendors by searching for them in the browser. If you purchase directly from the tour vendor you can arrive at the tour site and get you tickets right there. Much easier!
The restaurant is wonderful. Good breakfast. The lounge service is not on par with the rest of the hotel services. They are slow and not terribly accommodating. They close at 1:00 am which apparently is really 12:30 for anything but basic bar drinks. No snacks or deserts so don't go there hungry. That being said, I would highly recommend this hotel it is in S. Kensington which is a very nice area close to the Tube underground train.
F. M.
Our stay at the Rembrandt was remarkable. The location of the hotel is excellent, with the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural Human History Museum, Science Museum, and Imperial College all within easy walking distance, as was the South Kensington subway station as well. The staff at the hotel was always helpful (Johnny in the restaurant was outstanding), and the mobile phone provided for both free local and international calling was a real plus. We received great value for the money. Could not be more satisfied with this hotel experience.
최.
I had stayed for 1 week for my family trip.
I really recommend this hotel, especially for family trip.
Breakfast buffet has great quality than I expected. Also every staff of this hotel is very kind. Room condition was perfect during my stay.

We stayed at The Rembrandt for 4 nights at the end of September 2017 and we had a very pleasant experience. From check-in to check-out, the entire staff was very attentive. Pablo, the concierge, was especially helpful in booking our tours, hailing a taxi and making excellent recommendations from eateries to money exchange. The hotel is centrally located and very close to The Undergound that serves 3 lines that can take you to the best tourist attractions. Harods is a short walk away as well as many eateries and pubs. I felt safe walking at night. My wife and I especially enjoyed the breakfast that was included in our rate. The room was on the small size but all we needed the room for was to sleep and shower. The room was always thoroughly cleaned and stocked with soap and shampoo. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, helped with sore muscles from being out all day. I loved this hotel and would definitely stay again.
f. p.
We had a queen room. Tiniest room ever. Barely fit a bed. You had to turn sideways to move around the bed (and I’m a small woman). We were there during the week. I asked for an upgrade to a king and the front desk agent was extremely standoffish about it. I could for even more money per night. It was supposedly a suite. I understand, but the standard queen was just too small.

Wonderfully located and friendly Hotel Rembrandt does not fail to offer great time in London. We came back for our first stay was so nice; now our room was even better, so we keep coming back also next time!
S. P.
It was out first trip to London (in 50 years!) and we took a week long flight/hotel deal with a little apprehension. The moment we stepped into The Rembrandt we were thrilled. The room, the location across from the Victoria and Albert Museum, the very excellent English Breakfast (and I mean very excellent) the lounge for our daily 'aperitif', everything was perfect. Oh yes and the staff was great, especially the concierges who helped me plan my walking London days. I had pre-booked a Hop on Hop Off bus but the hotel was giving better deals on the tickets so nest time I will book with them. Enjoy The Rembrandt!
E. F.
With so many fantastic things to do in London during the Holidays, Christmas Carols and the Nutcracker at the Albert Hall, Mary Poppins Return at the Odeon Tottenham Court and the Christmas Wonderland, we decided to spend one more Holiday season at the Rembrandt.
The hotel offers a Christmas Day and a New Year's Eve dinner and both of them were supper delicious . The gammon was to die for and the desserts were very good as well as the other main and side dishes. Everything fresh and well presented.
As a return guest for many years, the breakfast is always good with a variety of cold and hot dishes, the rooms offer all the comfort we need with iron and iron board, coffee and tea, biscuits and 2 bottles of water per day. The bathtube with whirlpool is a plus for me as well as the hot water shower for my husband.
Sometimes we have a little problem checking in or out, but they are minor problems. The food from the bar/restaurant is expensive in relation to so many nice restaurants around the hotel, especially the Good Earth Chinese restaurant which is just one block away from the hotel. The food is fantastic and every time we are in London we eat there, but we like to end our day with a licorice tea at the hotel bar before going up. It's our way to talk about the nice things we did during the day.
C. B.
Great location near museums and Harrods. Great choices at breakfast buffet. Spacious room. Smart phone was an unexpected bonus and well used. Highly recommend spa package with back massage too. Wonderful stay!
K. M. G.
My wife and I returned for a 2nd time to this lovely property for 7 nights (Feb 17 -24) and we could not have been happier or more pleased with our experience. From check-in to check-out, Emilia Budahazy and her front office colleagues, including Head Concierge, Neil Cowen, took great care of us.
The hotel is really well located in South Kensington just a five minute walk from the Underground and right across the street from the Victoria & Albert Museum. Walk out the front door and look to your right and you readily see Harrods down Brompton Road. In less than a 10 minute walk you can be in the middle of Hyde Park, where we enjoyed multiple walks during stay.
Our room was lovely, very comfortable, very quiet, very clean with a big bathroom and included a large, laptop sized safe. In room WiFi was great and the free mobile phone (Handy as it's called) that comes with each room was really helpful for directions, tourist information and free phone calls as we walked around the city each day....a real bonus. The buffet full English breakfast was very good and offered many choices for all tastes.
We were really rewarded choosing to stay at this 4-star hotel instead of spending $100-200 a night more to stay in a 5-star hotel in Mayfair during our holiday. With Hyde Park Corner and much of Mayfair a 10-15 minute walk and many restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, etc., nearby save your money, enjoy a great stay at The Rembrandt and spend your savings enjoying London
I. W.
Visited for a small conference event. The room was a good size, although the projector screen size was a bit on the small side. The lunch provided was excellent. More than enough to keep us all going in the afternoon. I have no idea how much this would have cost the conference host but it certainly impressed.
W. O.
A great hotel in a great area of London! We very much enjoyed our stay. The complimentary wifi and breakfast were very good as was the Handy-phone in our room. Housekeeping was top notch. The location in Knightsbridge is superb. Breakfast service was quite good as was the service at the dinner we enjoyed in the restaurant.
T. B.
Really nice hotel located in Kensington close to the museums, Harrods and loads of other shops. The room we had was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable and the food we had at the hotel was also very good. We would definitely go again.
T. M.
The hotel is under construction/exterior rehab which was a surprise but did not affect our stay. There are restaurants nearby but they are very limited. Harrods is about a 10 minute walk. All other tourist sites will require you to underground or uber/taxi. There is an underground station again about a 10 minute walk away. Neil was very helpful with tickets and suggestions. Complimentary breakfast was fantastic. Full breakfast.
Do yourself a favor if arriving with luggage and cab/uber to the hotel. Too many stairs at Knightsbridge station.
Would definently recommend.

After finding a really good deal on a spa search website, I decided to book a room for myself and my sister for a simple hen weekend getaway.
Upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted by two absolutely charming staff members at the reception desk who were delightful and made check in an effortless process and we were given a wonderful surprise of a room upgrade!
Our room was a lovely spacious twin room with a lovely spa tub bathroom! And a free to use smartphone that was a very handy tour guide! (Especially for someone like me who isn't terribly confident with their knowledge of how to get around the city of London!)
As part of our package we had 1 nights stay, (including breakfast for the following morning) had free night club entry. Full use of the spa facilities and a 20 minute treatment.
My sister and I decided that in the morning we would like our breakfast in bed which was only a charge of £3! (Saved us from having to get dressed and packed up sooner than we needed to!) they had a selection of everything you could think of for breakfast! We went for a traditional cooked breakfast, and what a generous amount it was!! Delicious too! And something happened that I have never experienced before when staying at a hotel.. part way through tucking into our breakfast, the room phone rang... I answered, and it was someone asking if everything was ok with our breakfast and if there was anything else we would like!? Fantastic!!! This touch was beyond just good customer service! It was amazing!!
After breakfast, we gathered our belongings together and got ready to go to our spa appointment. We took our bags to reception where they locked them up safe in a cloakroom and issued us a ticket to retrieve them later.
And someone from the spa then came to reception to take us to our treatments.
I chose a back massage and my sister went for the facial option. A truly relaxing experience! And both of the girls that issued our treatments were very professional and made you feel very welcome.
Afterward we used the rest of the facilities which were pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. And as there wasn't anyone else using them at the time (there were a few using the pool part for swimming lessons, but this didn't affect the ambience at all!), it felt like we had the place to ourselves! It was wonderful!!
After we had finished with the spa, we went on to have lunch, which was also part of our package (which I was not aware of! Another lovely surprise!!) which was a deliciously prepared buffet of antipasti to start, carvery roast beef AND lamb, all the trimmings, other selections of I think curry or burgers and dessert to follow!
I opted for the roast beef and It. Was. Devine!!
There was one gentleman waiting on tables who, like every other staff member that we had encountered during our stay, was very diligent and made sure that my sister and I were happy with everything! We also were given two complimentary glasses of Cava! I truly felt like we were given the star treatment!!
Overall I would most DEFINITELY recommend staying at this hotel! Perfect location, perfect services and perfect staff!
I am one very impressed hen! Bravo!!
C. H.
Excellent location, perfect for museums, Albert Hall, South Kensington, Knightsbridge...
Spotlessly clean, compact, twin room, all the facilities you need!
Staff were professional & friendly.
Breakfast was very good.
Thank you for the bottle of wine & hand written card left in our room to celebrate my 50th birthday!!
L. L.
The hotel is in a fabulous location in Knightsbridge. The staff are incredible. The concierge was particularly helpful, and Johnny, in the breakfast room, was incredible. The rooms are comfortable and clean and there was a particular attention to detail throughout. We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back.
J. C.
My wife and i stayed at the Rembrandt overnight whilst going to the Royal Albert Hall... Its ideally located and pleased with the room size & cleaniness.
Hotel is nice and staff helpful, apart from the painfully slow bar service which resulted in several trips to the bar over the course of 25 minutes before our drinks arrived!!! Finally quencing our thirst my pregnant wife and i found the food to be ok but not upto par with area or rating of the hotel. We didn't try the spa / gym but note this is an additional charge of £10 per person for use.
S. M.
Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Close to everything you need in London Town. Visited this hotel many times its always my first choice when visiting London.
G. M.
The location of the hotel is perfect, makes a big PRO towards the hotel. The hotel itself could be updated in terms of room, LCDs, health club, and breakfast (compare the hotel breakfast to any breakfast offers in the area and it´s way below average in terms of quality). Nice front desk staff and housekeeping. The standard room is very different from published photos. If the photos are of upgrade rooms then update standards so there´s not such a difference because it´s a big gap between reality and expectations that does not help the hotel.
C. H.
Attended an event there. The hotel itself is very close to the station. Conference room was good too. The only downside is the toilet was not quite clean and out of dated. There was only disable toilet near by the conference room so cannot say it apply to all toilets.
R. S.
Came here for afternoon tea after a voucher I purchased. We got unlimited prosecco, great sandwiches and savouries as well as really delicious sweet pastries. If that deal is still available I would still go. One issue was that the unlimited bubbly was only available for 1.5 hours which meant we had to drink quickly.
J. H.
Had a standard double bed room, the bed was small but good. Nice bathroom with bathtub. Good location close to multiple undergrounds and no noise from other guests or outside. Breakfast was as could be expected.

I have not had the chance to stay at the Rembrandt but I am looking forward in visiting and meeting with Najib, who has provided excellent customer service on the phone over the last few days. I have been searching for an excellent deal for afternoon tea with the girls. I am really impressed with how kind, courteous, professional and helpful Najib has been. It will be a pleasure to dine and stay at The Rembrandt this year.
Amazing customer service and Najib even helped me find an amazing deal at the spa which includes afternoon tea and a 50 minute treatment. I am really impressed. Thank you Sheila

Lovely experience to stay in Rembrandt for 5 nights in the past week when traveling to London. Great location! Facing V & A Museum and 5 minutes’ walk to South Kensington station where you can access the Piccadilly line, Circle line and District line. Another great thing is a FREE travel buddy cell phone. It is like you have a local cell phone with unlimited data access!!! I carried the phone every day when exploring London. Room is clean. I like the card signed by housekeeper. It is such a warm and sweet gesture. Breakfast is great. Lots of food options. Conceierge provides good service. I booked directly on the hotel website. When I emailed my questions, they responded in a time manner. In general, it is highly recommended!
M. K.
The hotel has history of its own that's pretty cool. But the staff and the location made it a great stay for me and my wife . I thought it was a great value for the price. Across from a museum and near a tube stop in a nice section of the city.
D. A. S.
Absolutely amazing ! What a location . The food is amazing the cafe with sunroof is great to have a laid back afternoon . I had a great meal and coffee with the Owner of the hotel Mr Anoop Vohra . A fine gentleman and a person I always look up to . Never met such a generous person .

We just returned last week from a six night stay at The Rembrandt and it was fantastic.
We were able to check-in a bit early to a Grand Room which was large and immaculate. Just like the pictures on Orbitz web site.
The bed (King) was firm but comfortable with six pillows to chose from. There was ample closet space and drawer space. The bathroom shower was hand held and the deep soaking bath tub had hand rails. There was always hot water for showers and baths.
The room was very quiet at night - we did not hear doors slamming in the hallway and minimal street noise, as we had a room facing the street.
The Rembrandt is close to souvenir shops, restaurants, shopping, and apothecary's. It is about five blocks from Harrods and six blocks from Harvey Nichols department stores.
The breakfast was fantastic with many hot and cold choices and even made-to-order omelettes. The breakfast room was large with comfortable seating and windows overlooking the street.
Finally, the South Kensington Tube is only about two blocks from the
hotel. Buy an Oyster Card at Heathrow to use in London on train, bus and taxi travel. Instead of taking a taxi from Heathrow to the hotel, we took the Tube - Heathrow to Hammersmith, off at Hammersmith, then South Kensington tube to South Kensington stop. Took about 45 minutes, then about two blocks to The Rembrandt.
P. J.
We loved our stay at the Rembrandt- the room was clean, location is fabulous, breakfast was terrific, service was perfection! The reason I gave you a '4' and not a '5' was because our room was SO HOT! There was no way to adjust temperature in room, and as a result, neither of us slept much both nights we stayed with you. We tried opening windows but they only open a crack and then you get the street noise. Honestly though, that was the only thing we could complain about, but it''a an important issue. Thank you!
K. M.
It was great to be allowed to use the facilities to change the clothes. I needed to exit the room at 12:00 pm (check out time) but my train was at 8 pm. So my luggage was kept safe in a room behind the reception and I have been allowed to use the facilities to change my clothes round 6.30 pm. GREAT and VERY GOOD POINT.
r. v.
The room was cosy but adequately equipped. Bath was very nice and a real plus to some "modern" hotels which feature a shower only. After a long day sightseeing nothing is more appreciated than a nice hot bath. Internet is a joke though. 4 mb/s is so slow that you are back in the nineties.
M. O.
This was our first trip to London. Staying at the Rembrandt was great due to its convenience to the underground, bus stops and relaxing walks through the parks. Though the rooms were a bit small the accommodations you're very nice in the morning breakfast was great.
D. S.
Clean, comfortable, helpful staff. Breakfast had loads of selections. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Had a room that faced the street but the windows were well insulated and wasn't bothered by noise at all.
R. M.
I give The Rembrandt five stars based on great location, cleanliness, pleasant and efficient staff, and value.
The bar and restaurant are both nice.
J. H.
We enjoyed our stay at The Rembrandt because of the staff. Neil, a concierge, was especially helpful. He made several diner recommendations and reservations. Also, the location is excellent. Just a few blocks to South Kensington tube station and lots of good to excellent walk to restaurants. And there are two major museums across the street in which one can spend hours, for free!
D. F.
Lovely hotel in pretty good shape, rooms a little smaller than say a Premiere Inn, decor a little tired but good enough, breakfast pretty good with reasonable variety of choice. The staff and service.. just a bit hit and miss esp. the breakfast staff, some respond attentively and briskly, some like they really can't be bothered.
J. C.
We loved everything about our stay at this hotel - it's in a great location and it is only a couple of minutes walk from South Kensington Underground station making it easy getting about to city centre attractions. Each member of staff who we made contact with was helpful and friendly. Neil at Reception was especially helpful and nothing was too much trouble when we made enquiries about directions/tourist attractions. We could not find any fault with the hotel. We would certainly return to The Rembrandt and would highly recommend it to friends and family.

The good: The Rembrandt is a very good 4**** hotel and all the staff are helpful and friendly, a credit to themselves and the management. I especially like the security whereby a guest must use his key card to activate the lift. This stops prowlers entering the hotel and gaining access to the guests floors.
Our room was very good. The bathroom was immaculate. Very clean and newly refurbished. Walk in shower, heated towel rail, flannels, bathrobes and toiletries, a good deep sink bowl and fragrantly scented toilet paper! (I wish I knew the name of this as I would buy it for myself). The shower delivered instant hot water and was operated by push buttons, for either the overhead or the hand-held shower. Truly excellent! The room was of an acceptable size for central London, with a large TV on the wall and the usual tea and coffee making facilities. On the down side, there was no trouser press or slippers.
I like the large bar and lounge area. As well as taking breakfasts, we also ate twice and the food was freshly prepared and very good. Also the friendly concierge stamped my parking ticket for the nearby Chelsea Cloisters car park that I used for 48 hours; this gave me a discount of about 25% when retrieving my car. A most helpful arrangement.
The bad: there is nothing bad about this hotel at all. That said (and I know it is easy to criticize) a couple of things were disappointing. I ate an excellent burger in the bar, but this was accompanied by an awful looking heaped bowl of what purported to be a salad. It looked like the shredded contents of a roadside bunch of weeds. Call me old fashioned but, to me, a salad is some lettuce, tomato, cucumber and perhaps some sweetcorn - and not what I expect to see on a grass verge when walking down a country lane. Secondly, the chairs and seating in the lounge area have seen better days. They all need re-upholstering after being in constant use by overweight guests these last few years. I have sat in worse chairs, but these tend to collapse when sat in and ideally need casting out and replacing.
The ugly: there is nothing ugly about this very attractive hotel.... apart from some of the guests. At busy breakfast times you are likely to be pushed and shoved by foreign invaders wearing strange, flowing robes, headscarves and face masks. I felt like an extra from Star Trek on an alien planet at times. The only way to deal with these rude and uncivilised guests is to give as good as you get - push and shove back. 'They don't like it up 'em', as Corporal Jones would say!
In all The Rembrandt is a very good four star hotel in an excellent location for Knightsbridge and the high class surrounding areas. This was not my first visit and will not be my last. But I will avoid staying in August next time as I now realise that certain medieval countries are too hot for many of their residents in August and they decamp to London. They may have money but they don't have manners.

We had a nice room with enough space for our luggage. The room was clean and we got two water bottels every day, that was really nice.
The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was perfect!

Stayed fir one night. Had previously used this hotel a few times in the past. When we got there no record of our booking. Had booked a double executive room but our room was pretty small. The wait for drinks and food in bar was quite long. Not the best waiter. But hotel in a great location.
T. L.
Lovely hotel. So quiet and relaxed. Great location. Helpful friendly and professional staff who can't did enough to please and make your stay as good as it can be.
J. L.
Lovely room, completely charming and helpful staff, amazing food. My only tiny niggle was that the shower curtain in my bathroom was bit short so water went further than it should have. Otherwise perfect stay.
E. S.
My husband and I came in February and then elected to stay again last week. I love the professionalism of the staff, beautiful hotel and location. Plus the breakfast cannot be beat!!!
My sister and I will be planning a trip in early April 2018. Does Sarova offer a membership program?
S. R.
My wife and I stayed at the Rembrandt during vacation to London March 5-10th. The hotel is located within short walking distance of the South Kensington underground station, which services the Picadilly, Central, and District lines. The Picadilly line also services Heathrow airport. It only took us about 45 minutes using the tube from Heathrow to South Kensington.
The South Kensington area is beautiful! There are museums across the street from the hotel and the area near the underground station is home to many little shops and restaurants.
The hotel is very well kept. The rooms are small, but include all necessities. The smart phone that you can use for free saved us from having to pay for our international plan most days. Breakfast is included in the room fee and is a generous spread that we enjoyed. Everyone we came into contact with was pleasant and accommodating, especially Neil at the concierge desk. He booked tickets for tours for us at a lower cost than what we would have paid at the ticket counter.
On our last night, we arrived late to the hotel after an unpleasant day trip to Paris, in which our friend ended up having to return to London unexpectedly. The hotel staff was extremely understanding and accommodating, allowing us to switch to a club room so that our friend could stay with us and pay an upgrade fee instead of an entire extra room.
The next time we travel to London, we will definitely choose this hotel again!

The Rembrandt was a lovely hotel for our 2 day stay in London. The location was very convenient to the underground and museums and a nice walking street with several cafes and restaurants. The room had all necessary amenities and was clean. We did have a couple of negative experiences. 1)We had an extremely difficult time finding the hotel. We had taken the underground and were lugging along with us our large suitcases as this was part of a 3 week trip. We walked around in circles for 45 minutes trying to find the hotel. Our Google maps were not working and there was a Thurloe Street and a Thurloe Square and none of them led to your address. We ran into another couple from England who was also wandering around lost. They called the hotel for directions and eventually the four of us found it together. The directions given to them did not help much as they were not clear. By the time we arrived at the hotel, we were quite grumpy, hot and tired. Perhaps adding directions to your hotel from the underground would be helpful and alleviate that situation. The other negative experience was with the concierge, who provided nothing but misinformation to us. I'm sorry I didn't get the gentleman's name, but it was whoever was on duty when we first arrived at the hotel. We wanted to see a show that evening. I asked him if there were half-price ticket booths as there are in New York and he said, no, there was nothing like that in London, but that he could obtain tickets for us. He did obtain tickets at full price to Mousetrap. Although the tickets were indeed good seats, we were looking for less expensively priced tickets. The next day we were walking in London and stumbled upon a half price ticket booth! We purchased half-price tickets to Kinky Boots for that evening. That was exactly what I had asked the concierge about, and he said it didn't exist in London! How could he not know? The concierge also told us the taxi to the theater on that first night would take 15 minutes. We gave ourselves 30 minutes. The taxi took 45 minutes! We had to get out several blocks away and literally run to the theater. We made it just a minute before they closed the door. The concierge should have known what the traffic was like at that time. Several people told us that was normal traffic for that time of day. You need to have a serious training session with that concierge. He really influenced our feelings about staying at the hotel and is the reason I give the hotel a 4 (Good) rather than a 5 (Very good). I am also not posting on Trip Advisor because I have such conflicted feelings about the hotel.
R. Z.
Perfect position, warm welcome by friendly staff, lovely quiet spacious room (at the back overlooking gardens of houses behind), everything pristine. Breakfast excellent with perfect poached eggs (always a good test of a breakfast cook). Next door is the leisure centre so you can have a swim before breakfast. And the Rembrandt is one of the few London hotels with a lounge in which you can collapse in an armchair after a day touring the local museums. We keep coming back because it is so reliably good.
The only thing missing is... Rembrandt!
S. H.
I am delighted to have stayed yet again at The Rembrandt - perfect location in the heart of London.
My room was extremely good, the staff were very attentive and willing to help.
The breakfast arrangements at The Rembrandt are also very pleasing and enjoyable.
J. T.
I will only stay in this hotel while I am in London. It's across the street from my favorite museum (the V&A) and inches from the South Kensington Tube station, meaning it is easy to get around to all of my other favorite museums. As an art history professor, I find London a rich art banquet and the aptly titled Rembrandt sets the standard for excellent service and a caring, supportive and friendly staff!
K. J.
Nice hotel in a great location. Have stayed here before and have enjoyed each time. Great breakfast and wonderful and helpful staff. Only suggestion would be to update furniture in the bar area and possibly the rooms as it appears to be getting very tired.
N. R.
The Rembrandt was a nice hotel with good size rooms. We were able to make use of the spa and pool and it was not too busy which was good. The hotel is in a great location and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection and was replenished regularly.
E. S.
Fantastic stay. Great service
t. s.
Great location , had to wait for the room to be made up but no problem , sat in the bar with a few beers just a pity no draught Guinness. ..our room was fantastic faced the main road which we like had 2 large door windows which you can open....the bed was one of the most comfortable I have had in any hotel and the pillows were also excellent made for a great nights sleep....read some negative reviews about the rooms and bar and breakfast ...don't know why the choice at breakfast was great and good quality rooms were excellent as was the bathroom and powerful shower ....be staying here again next time we come down to London ....all the staff are helpful and friendly
A. B.
Just really annoying buzz every 40 seconds once room was quiet sounded loud 24 hours. After a sleepless night I went to the reception and the lady I spoke to had here mind on something else I had to repeat my name and room number twice. Was told maintenance was out shopping and as soon as he came back she would get him to sort it. No one came nothing was done. Two sleepless nights and such a shame as no doubt it could of easily been resolved had the receptionist had her mind on the job in hand.
S. P.
Lovely hotel in superb location - bus stops outside the hotel and short walk to the tube station. The Executive room was spacious and well appointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would certainly return.
D. W.
Our stay at your hotel was the icing on the cake for our 60th Wedding Anniversary. Thank you very much for your kindness and hospitality. Your receptionist, Miriam, and Abel and Pablo manning the concierge desk were not only professional but very friendly and kind. It is not an exaggeration to say that it was an absolute pleasure dealing with them. Thank you once again. Joan and Derek Ward.

Rates can vary from time to time for big city hotels but this was the best value-for-money I have experienced in London. First class room, pleasant and helpful staff, great breakfast included and a short tube ride away from the City.
B. M.
beautiful hotel with amazing location and fairly nice staff but problem was jacuzzi which stopped working and very slow bar staff. id say the staff are also somewhat arrogant. however such a prime location perhaps is why. worse thing was the fact my wife spilled some coffee on the bed and was charged 250 pounds for "soiling the linen" . not good.
K. S.
The hotel was very nice and exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were kept nice and our room was kept very clean. The Concierge, Neil, was wonderful. He assisted us with planning our tours to assure that we maximized our time and what we wanted to see. I really had my heart set on seeing Kensington and Buckingham Palace as well as Windsor Castle. Towards the end of our stay I didn't think it would be possible to see Windsor too, but Neil helped us wit the planning which made my trip perfect. I almost forgot.....It was extremely nice of the hotel to have a cell phone in the rooms for their guests to use during their stay. This assisted us with the internet and looking up restaurants and shops, as we toured London.
E. S.
Small hotel to stay in the South Kensington - Chelsea area. Excellent English breakfast buffet is included in room price. A spa with a pool is attached to hotel. A daily fee for every day you use the spa or pool. Also has exercise equipment.
n. “. c.
Very nice luxury hotel. The breakfast buffet is out of this world and all of the staff were helpful and personable. The neighborhood has several restaurants and a tube stop right down the block and the V & A museum is just across the street. What more could you want?!
I. G.
Nice tradicional hotel, well located.
M. B.
This is a different kind of review. I was reading other peoples' reviews because we will stay at the Rembrandt in July. My comment is about the manager's responses to reviews. Whether the review is five stars or one star, the responses all appear to be form letters. I think the manager should take the time to write a personal letter responding to the satisfaction or dissatisfaction of the guest, whichever is the case. Having said that, I'm glad that most of the reviews are positive. We are looking forward to our stay.
S. S.
Brilliant location for visit to Tutankhamun exhibition at Saatchi Gallery, afternoon tea at Adam Handling Chelsea, V & A, Natural History Museum, Kensington Palace & Harrods. Room was clean & comfortable, breakfast was excellent & offered plenty of choice & all the staff were polite & friendly
C. A.
Enjoyed a one night stay at this convenient and comfortable hotel. The room, breakfast all good. Bar meal the evening before, and a night cap on our return from our function at the RGS also very good. Will stay again if in this part of London. Do note rooms at the front suffer traffic noise through the night.
C. J.
When ever I visit London I have chosen the Rembrandt as the place to stay during my trip. The hotel is well placed for many of the splendid museums, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, Buckingham Palace.
Situated in the centre of Knightsbridge also gives the resident easy access to the Tube, bus routes & black cabs.
The hotel is well appointed with excellent facilities and comfortable rooms. The Rembrandt is my first choice and is excellent value.
J. K.
Loved it. Best breakfast in London. Our room was great, the service was fantastic and the location can't be beat. The bar was pretty good too.
E. G.
Very good hotel with friendly staff. Room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast very tasty. The hotel is well situated for museums and other attractions. Would stay here again.
E. F.
Just as we expected a great experience. This was our second time staying at the Rembrandt hotel and just like the first time, it was another good experience. Although we didn't get a suite this time the room was still very nice and we were really surprised with the smartphone that you left in the room to use, what a great idea! although we didnt use it other than for one phone call we would have if we stayed longer than one night. We will definitely use the Rembrandt again and look forward to it!
R. P.
Really like the fashion clothes. And they do real sale every season, Enjoy having zara at Liverpool. Treated lovely and nice.
P. C.
Excellent location with clean but tired interiors.
Underwhelmed by breakfast.

We had a fabulous experience at The Rembrandt. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was lovely and comfortable and the location superb. Really impressed!

Fantastic Hotel,,, little bit old but that what it makes it feels like real old england
Clean and quiet rooms. NO noise from road bec. TRIPPLE glazing, very cleaver. Nice breakfast. Close to harrods, museum and nightlife in Chelsea. Sloane Square only 1 station away. I Will be back.

We have just returned from a fantastic 3 day break at the Rembrandt. Brilliant location within walking distance of Kensington Palace, Hyde Park the Albert Hall and just over the road from the V&A and the Natural History Museums. We had a club room it was cosy and a decent size it overlooked the V&A museum.
The head concierge Neil Cowan was particularl pleasant and helpful when booking things for us, we saved a few pounds by booking through the hotel.
Because we booked the hotel direct we received a free drink voucher each for the bar, which was very nice.
We will definitely stay at the hotel again we had a wonderful few days and were made to feel very welcome at the hotel.
J. P.
All of the above are good reasons to stay at The Rembrandt, but if you're staying more than a few nights, please take notice of their payment policy, wherein they require you to pay everything in advance. Strange policy, and not a lot of awareness on the frontdesk staff's side that this is unusual in hotels. Other than that my stay was fine.
G. v. B.
It is a really nice hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Good beds and nice and clean rooms. The location is also top noch, 5 minutes from Harrods, right across National History Museum and Victory and Albert Museum.
r. w.
We've stayed here a half dozen times before and, if you get a deal, it's good value. Clean, good-sized rooms, for London, good breakfast, access to everything in South Kensington/Knightsbridge area. Perpetual creaky carpets only real complaint. Try to get rooms facing museum across the street.
J. L.
Have chosen to stay at the Rembrandt on two seperate visits now, and really loved it both times. It's comfortable and clean serves great breakfasts and is in a fabulous location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting London.
L. B.
Very nice hotel located across from Victoria and Albert in Knightsbridge. Very nice, spacious room with view of V & A. Good beds and bedding. Has A/C, satellite tv, wifi, minibar and lift. Bathroom had a jacuzzi which was great.. A smart phone is provided and is very helpful! Can provide transportation from airport. Lovely neighborhood with good restaurants and shopping and a few minutes from the Tube. Excellent restaurant with full English breakfast and great service. Made our London experience more enjoyable and would highly recommend.
N. B.
Great location, close to the Underground and buses. The rooms are really nice- decent size, very comfy bed. We got a room at the back of the hotel and it was nice and quiet. We really like this hotel!
A. P.
Grrat hotel centrally located practically next doot to the V&A! Excellent breakfast. My one niggle finding a service charge on my bill for using the bar not thr mini barbut the hotel bar . After querying it being told it was a compulsory charge on the UK!! I don't like being told lies and i don't like not being told about charges. So, hotel great but beware hidden charges.
S.
Our experience of our weekend at the Rembrandt, was good but sorry to say we felt some of your staff let you down slightly.on the 1st night We were sat in the bar for about 10 minutes then had to get our own drinks which we put down to it being busy but on the 2nd night was the same. not a problem but to then see we are paying a service charge on all our food and drink !!!! & when our food came on the 2nd night we were not offered any condiments for the fries and sandwiches we ordered.
On the 1st night we were in the Restaurant ordered from the menu The Salmon which was lovely but for your own profit potential it was not mentioned that i may like Vegetables or potatoes with my food as this doesnt come automatically and would have made the meal more substantial.
When we went into breakfast on our 1st morning we were sat down and left to fend for ourselves until i called over a waitress to explain how it works Self Service and hot drinks served, If the person seating us had simply asked if we had been before once we said NO she could have explained the process, which would have taken seconds but saved our embarrassment. (the menu had nothing about the type of service either). Both these are just training issued but we feel it should be pointed out.
It was a lovely breakfast.
The Room was very clean and equiped.
Many Thanks
Scott & Jill

My friend booked me into Rembrandt Hotel for a massage therapy and afternoon tea as a baby shower treat. That was one of the best time in my life!! I dnt usually give organisations a 5 star except they are extremely amazing. This hotel is perfs👌🏽. The massage was amazing, staffs are very friendly, professional, helpful and made us feel comfortable all through. That afternoon tea was the bomb. Best afternoon tea ever!! I don't exaggerate, as l don't get paid for reviews. See the photo l took of the afternoon tea. If you want an amazing experience, patronise them.

Service is alright. When we booked thru British Airways part of our rationale was the local phone that was offered. No longer offering apparently. I asked and was told so. Was told they would speak with a manager but that was yesterday Int he morning and no one has gotten back to me. Guess this is my unexpected cost due to them changing the deal after I signed up?
P. M.
My partner and I have stayed at The Rembrandt several times. The quality of the hotel in terms of facilities, rooms and customer service are second to none. This is now firmly our hotel of choice when we visit London. The lounge bar has an excellent menu, offering everything from light snacks to larger meals. This menu is very reasonably priced and there are always one or two meals on special offer. We particularly enjoyed this week's grilled haddock, with new potatoes and a lovely salad. The drinks menu is also extensive. Breakfast is served in the Palette restaurant and it really is wonderful. There is something for everyone, from cereals, meats and cheeses to fresh pastries, bread and a full cooked breakfast. The Sarova loyalty card gives additional benefits, from discounted room rates, food and beverages to preferential prices in the adjoining Aquilla health club. The location of the hotel is also brilliant. Right across the road is the magnificent Victoria & Albert Museum, and just round the corner sit the British Museum and the Natural History Museum. The opulent shopping areas of Knightsbridge and Kensington are also right on the doorstep. This really is a great place to stay, and we must say a huge thank you to all the team for making our stay such a pleasant one.
R. O.
Love it here
Great hotel very reasonable price for top quality acomadation
K. S.
We stayed in an Executive room, which wasn't very spacious. Apart from robes and a jacuzzi bath, there was nothing to make it Executive! Sharing platter on arrival was tasty, however, breakfast was disappointing, mediochre choices and the cooked breakfast was cold, very disappointing!
N. P.
Great hotel overall. Nice, exclusive and silent rooms with free wifi. Walking distance to everything and just a few blocks away from places like Hyde Park and Harrods. The staff and service has been great too.
K. 1.
I love staying at The Rembrandt in London. It's comfortable, great location & the staff make you feel you're coming to your very own home each evening after a day of sightseeing.

This was my second stay at The Rembrandt. The location and room furnishings were excellent. There were a couple minor slip-ups that I thought were out of character for the hotel. The room had just one US outlet in it and it did not work when I checked in. At a visit to the concierge desk I was given an explanation of why it might not be working. I did not want an explanation, I wanted a working outlet. The front desk gave me a UK/US adapter plug, allowing me to plug in chargers that were compatible with 240 V. The US outlet was fixed about a day and a half later, not consistent with the expected service. The second problem was with the Handy phone. At first, it would not charge at all. A couple days later I got a working one, but it also was touchy about charging, was not fully charged most mornings, so I used my own phone. Luckily it was fully charged the day we went to Oxford, map function in the phone came was useful there. I expected that when I reported the problem the first time, I would have been immediately given a replacement phone and charger and left the debugging task to the hotel staff.
Would I return to The Rembrandt next time I plan a trip to London? I am not sure I got the service and value I expected this past trip and would have to look into alternatives. My preference is to stay at hotels were I am confident providing a very good or excellent rating. My recommendation of Yes below is conditional on having the slip-ups resolved.
H. R.
Stayed in Rembrandt for five days August 2019. Great accommodation, very friendly and helpful staff and a sumptuous breakfast. very centrally located. Would not stay anywhere else if I visit London again
J. L.
Great location. Staff are quite friendly and helpful. Housekeeking services are however not impressive. Wake up call program on the phone failed to work and the room was quite sparsely furnished. I had expected more from this hotel.
Overall rating is 3.5 out of 5
A. J.
Overall good and comforting hotel. The major issue was the fact that the restaurant was undergoing refurbishment and no information was given prior to arrival, that felt as the management was trying to pretend that it was a minor issue. With th eclosed restaurant the substitute with eating breakfast in the adjacent facilities didn`t feel that good.
We also did have issues with the card reader on the door - or more the handle didn´t really unlock as it should - on several occasions svereal tries was needed to access the room.
Also the fact thta there is clear statement that if one decide to hang the towels it wil be left until one decide to hav ethem changed - eventhough we hanged the towels every morning oit was changed during the day - how wil that help preserve the environmental?
We also lacked slippers to the robe´s upon arrival.

It's always a pleasure to stay at the Rembrandt. The central location is perfect for reaching all parts of London within a short time. However the South Kensington & Knightsbridge location still maintains a global village appeal, with plenty of independent boutiques, busy caffè's and a cosmopolitan charm that is unique to London life.
My time at the hotel was, as usual, fantastic. Attention to detail, cleanliness and helpful staff on hand are invaluable.
Rooms are comfortable, relaxing and a pleasure to unwind in. The Rembrandt Hotel's Lounge Bar is a fantastic place where to relax with a drink, and reflect on the wonders of London.
R. L.
Great hotel. Delicious breakfast, friendly staff and near tube station. Would come back next time.

A lovely London hotel in Kensington. Directly opposite the V&A and Natural History Museums, great transport links, walking distance to Hyde Park and Harrods. Direct buses to to Central London. Highly recommended!

Staff were all very friendly , although some of the duty managers in the restaurant could have been more so. We were upgraded when we checked in - a lovely gesture. Unfortunately the jacuzzi bath did not work on the second evening when we came to try it.. and the jacuzzi in the gym was also being renovated... disappointed as after a very busy day on our feet looking around the museums we were looking forward to using it/them. The TV we also struggled with getting to work. We reported both these problems to reception on the second evening. The TV was sorted .. although the wires etc were all left hanging out from under the TV . Unfortunately the jacuzzi was not sorted , and we did not hear anything more about it! As we had not paid for the upgrade we did not push. On checkout our bill was wrong, A room service was charged that was not ours, the receptionist looked through the paperwork and quickly resolved the problem, - being very efficient, and apologetic when finding the error. The hotel is in a brilliant location for the museums etc . More towels, and perhaps some options of larger towels would be a bonus- I have very long hair and a small hand towel is not large enough. The first morning I did ask for a second bath towel from the cleaner and one was supplied .. I had hoped that one extra was made available for he rest of our stay ; but this did not happen . Bottled water is nice in the room, , but one small bottle between two guests is quite mean, and no choice of sparkling? Fresh milk for our in room drinks would have made our morning tea much more enjoyable. The kettle .. too small and one that switched itself off would have been preferable. . Make-up mirror in the bathroom was very useful, and the complementary toiletries were lovely.

Fantastic hospitality, very friendly, fantastic room, fantastic breakfast, fantastic cosigners, fantastic reception, and fantastic SPA. It was very convenient when arriving from Gatwick airport with Gatwick express, only 5 minutes by taxi or 1,5 km to walk. Subway close to the Hotel. 450m to walk to Harrods, 30 minutes walk to get to Oxford street. The way you at the hotell sent offers for upgrade and enhancement of my stay was very appreciated. You med me feel like at home. When i go to London next time, i will for sure stay at The Rembrandt. The best hotel i ever had in London, and i have been there many times.
S. V.
Everything excellent except the pool at the spa. It is why too hot and unhealthy for swimming. They don't accept reason and they keep the pool at or above 32 Celsius when maximum it should be 29 for safe and comfortable swimming. Please review experts on what should that temperature be. Not only is unhealthy but more expensive to keep waiting money in that excessive temperature. It is ok for a jacuzzi but not for a pool!
C. A.
My friend and I stayed three nights at the Rembrandt hotel and our stay was perfect. Comfortable room, great staff and the perfect location close to museums, many restaurants, and tube station. For a "wow" experience, just a few blocks from Harrods!
A. W.
A lovely hotel. Welcoming and friendly staff, a very nice room which was quite spacious for an old London property, and beautiful renovation of the dining room, lounge and conference spaces.
Z. B.
Fab spa with segregated steam and sauna rooms. Not ideal if you want a swim as the pool is small and always seems to have kids classes. The masseuse was professional and did a great job
N. J.
Very nice hotel, large rooms, comfortably beds, perfect breakfast, and good service
Only point was at check out where our bill was not correct, but we manage to find out in the end

The Rembrandt Hotel is areal gem in the Kensington area. Large room and bath, nice bath amenities, comfortable beds, nice bedding . Great morning breakfast . Friendly and very helpful staff. Well done and thank you for making our trip just that much nicer .

Great place to stay when need somewhere in Knightsbridge. Does the job. Good prices for London.

We took a last minute family trip to London and stayed at The Rembrandt. The experience was wonderful. The staff is excellent and extremely helpful, and the location is excellent. We look forward to returning!

Very pleasant evening and dinner, excellent service.

My mom and dad loved it, and so do I. Right across the street from V&A, Natural History Museum etal, the Rembrandt has a wonderful staff, super clean and comfortable rooms and an amazing breakfast.
J. O.
Beautiful Edwardian hotel opposite the V&A museum. Originally apartments for Harrods customers when they were in town for shopping. Lovely rooms and suites and a good quality restaurant which also does a British luxury buffet. Fairly pricey, but I suppose that's what you can expect considering where it is.
P. K.
WiFi is free in all rooms. Other nice-to-have features include a comfortable work desk, tea and coffee making facilities, and a mini-bar.
All bedrooms also feature a free Handy smartphone for guests to use either in the hotel or out and about. The phone includes free calls within the UK and to selected countries, unlimited 4G data, Google Maps, Tube and travel updates and much more
P. C.
Amazing location opposite the V+A Museum in Knightsbridge ad s tones throw from Harrods.
Good spacious room (executive) , with wonderful all you can eat buffet style English breakfast etc
Wifi incl in room. Mini bar fridge useful for our own drinks. Robes in room, iron, kettle, cloths brush, show polish all the little things that get forgotten at home
All in all 100% satisfied and would use again
R. d. A.
Very nice location (almost in front of National History Museum), clean, Jacuzzi in the bathroom!, mini-fridge, safe to store your stuff, good breakfast, but the decoration looks a little bit tired (just a little bit). However, very good value for the money!

Superb. Took my nephew for his 9th birthday & we had birthday cake & balloons in our room on arrival. Room fantastic. Everyone is making our stay outstanding.

Highly recommend. Great rooms, exceptional staff, brilliant breakfast.

Excellent location , just minutes away from public transport, museums, historic buildings etc. Very good food at Hotel restaurant but bar food and service needs improvement. It remains my favourite Hotel in London. Helpful staff.

Stayed 3 nights in an executive room. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Food is decent, but not much more. Although breakfast is free! Close to tube and museums. Will come back!

Booked a hall for a wedding event. Fantastic coordinator and service from the hotel. Great location and reasonable pricing for the event. Very accommodating. Decent food. Would be on my recommend list for small events

The Rembrandt hotel is located in a superb and well-connected part of London.
It is right in front of 3 major museums: The Victoria and Albert, the Natural History and the Science museums. Surrounded by vibrant cafes and great restaurants. The staff was helpful and friendly and the room was cozy and well-decorated.

Very neat and well maintained hotel. Very good location. excellent service. Stayed in this hotel from 29th Aug to 3 Sept 2017. Basic facility like cash machine, access to public transport and so on are available. The best part is the free use of handy phone that the hotel provides with free data and call fecility.

Excellent location with V&A across the road n British History Museum around the corner.
Luxury n quality in abudance... established landmark as you drive into Knightsbridge.
Enjoyed a wedding reception n lounge bar good service n relaxed atmosphere...

very easy and friendly - booked direct online at a great price, with breakfast and a free drink thrown in; perfect location, helpful staff, clean room - exactly what we wanted for our one night weekend stay

The hotel itself is lovely although a little outdated in look (i.e., foyer can do with a more modern revamp since this is the point where the client and hotel first meet; as well as the restaurant where the daily breakfast was held. Looks "old" and can do with a more modern London vibe feel). The rooms are neat and tidy - thanks to the great staff. However, the internet is not good at all. For a hotel - situated in Knightsbridge, the heart of London - it goes without saying that the internet service is actually "bad". I brought along an international plug from the US and had to fix it a while to make sure there was a connection between the plug and my phone. Sometimes I would charge my phone overnight; and it did not charge entirely by the time I woke up the following morning. Not good at all. Thank goodness I did not bring along my laptop. That would have been disastrous. Overall, the stay was comfortable and peaceful.

The room was a bit small versus our expectation but very clean. The afternoon tea was a disappointment. The setting in a working bar was inappropriate. The sandwiches were imprecise.

Really lovely hotel. Very clean, spacious rooms and great atmosphere. Very accommodating staff with excellent service throughout our stay. We will definitely be returning.

We stay at The Rembrandt whenever we travel to London, and always have a lovely room. However our room was uncomfortably hot, and it took two days before something was actually done about the heat. Otherwise it was a lovely stay as always

Amazing! Located nest to V&A museum, close to National History Museum. 10mins walk to Harrods and Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge. 10-15mins to Hide Park. Quiet and convenient with absolutely friendly staff. We had a late check-in and we got best ever 2 bathroom suite. 100% recommended.

We have stayed in this hotel several times and we always appreciate their service, breakfast and perfect location. The rooms are nice and good size.

(Restaurant and bar visit only) - extremely courteous and attentive staff, patient with multigenerational party, and very good quality food. Food service on a quiet weekday night was rather slow, but the time passed quickly, and the evening menu was well balanced and enjoyable

Generally, I like the place, breakfast and the facilities in the room. What I didn't much like - a room with ceiling beams whose corners are not softened or protected in any way. It definitely hurts :)))

Having experienced several (over 20) visits to London over the last several years, we find our first stay at the Rembrandt to be far superior to any others in London (or other cities for that matter). All aspects of the visit - comfort, cleanliness, friendliness, helpfulness, attention to detail, food, service, etc. - were outstanding.

Stayed here in May/June excellent location with easy access into London with either tube or bus (right outside) and pubs, restaurant's within five minutes walk.Had some fun with fire alarm going off in the night but handled very well by hotel staff.Back in London in 2019 and we will be staying here.

Me and my family loves this hotel. The breakfast is very good, the location is perfect. Both close to harrods and a couple of really good cafès.

Booking hotels on Orbitz can sometimes be not as reliable as direct booking but your accommodations and service were far more superior than expected. We were allowed to upgrade to better room for very nominal fee.

Location is absolutely perfect. there is nearby restaurants that are affordable and the hotel is near public transit so a lot of time is saved walking. The rooms are cleaned daily. Service is great and helpful.

Stayed overnight at Thr Rembrandt. Check in smooth and easy. Relaxed room for drinks and coffee. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. An enjoyable stay, thank you

Reasonably priced nice hotel in a great location. I chose this hotel based on previous positive reviews which I found to be accurate. I would choose to stay there again when I return to London.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at The Rembrandt. The staff and services provided are top-notch and the location is ideal for getting around to see what is on offer in London.

My Wife & I spent one week at the Rembrandt during our recent vacation in London. Highly recommend this hotel. Convenient location to London central areas, friendly & helpful staff and room price that fit our budget.

Pretty great. Facilities are great, free tea/coffee/hot chocolate in the room with a kettle, hair dryer, and a (cheap but functional) smartphone to use when you're out and about (I didn't touch it). Nice and helpful staff though so definitely worth

Excellent stay once again at your hotel. The only downside is price of bar drinks. We ended up spending money in local bar by the hotel. Shame as we would have rather relaxed in the great hotel.

Excellent stay: the room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Staff were extremely helpful and nice. Location is perfect: not in the crowded area of the city, but certainly in one of the nicest.

Wonderful hotel in upscale South Kensington. Museums literally across the street. Breakfast and a smartphone included in your stay. Comfortable rooms and nice decor. Underground 5 minute walk away

Great location, so close to the tube, buses and the galleries on the doorstep! Very helpful staff - good facilities, good breakfast. Rooms clean as always, good value for money. Highly recommended.

My wife and I spent 6 nights there, and had a wonderful time. Service was exceptional. The only thing I could ask for is to have a clock in the room.
A. D.
We had our Christmas lunch here and it was a great experience. Alex took care of my family and I from the start ensuring we were always sound. The food was great too!
C. B.
Though we didn't have time to take advantage of the spa, we did enjoy the breakfast buffet, the afternoon tea and the room service.
Housekeeping, reception and bellhops were all great!

overall this hotel was very cosy and staff were very friendly and supportive.
its location was nice, near a subway station and the natural history museum.
I found it really a good deal.

Excellent service. Lovley freindly staff. Excellent food

Great location near the underground and several restaurants. Good fitness center, free wifi. Rooms clean and comfortable, small, but normal for London. Staff friendly and progressional. Good breakfast buffet.

This was our second stay here and just as enjoyable as the first. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the room clean and comfortable and the location is perfect. We hope to return someday soon!

Can't really fault any aspect of our stay at The Rembrant; friendly, efficient check-in, well-equipped, immaculately clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast - all combined to make a very enjoyable stay.

We came in late and were starving. Since your team caters a global market from people ever, it's a bummer that food couldn't be served after midnight. When we ordered a drink before the bar closed, we were also told that we couldn't bring food. We were the only ones in the entire bar nor were you serving food. Whom would the food be competing w/? Each time we visited the bar afterwards, rather than a "Hi, can I help you?". We would sit around waiting for up to 15 minutes at any given time, to which we would receive an annoyed "What do you need?" from staff.

Very much enjoyed the service and ambience of your hotel. Location was excellent.
We stayed almost 2 weeks and have no complaints

My wife and I decided to forego cruising for political reasons just after the US election in 2016. We decided to return to London for our annual one week vacation. After reading several positive reviews on Trip Advisor, we chose to stay at the Rembrandt. When it came time to plan this year's vacation, there was no hesitation at all in coming back to the Rembrandt.

Great location. Clean and updated rooms. Very nice lobby and restaurant. One of the nicest hotels in this price range in a perfect location in the the West end.
N. L.
Great value, good location, clean, comfortable, friendly & helpful staff.
Good fitness room - if not a little pricey at £10 - well equipped with quality and new equipment (mostly Life Fitness)
Great breakfast
P. S.
Very nice, cozy rooms; ideal location in Knightsbridge; well-done English Breakfast buffet is complimentary. Attentive and knowledgeable staff. Excellent.

A Great hotel with perfect location and helping staff. Anamaria on reception is an absolute delight.

I enjoyed a very pleasant 24 hour stay - from check in to check out the staff were very friendly

I was satisfied with my stay. The room was good and the breakfast was fine. WiFi was easy. The only adverse point is that I could never turn on the TV.
J. N.
Charming hotel, lovely staff room a little bijou, but all I needed
S. L.
Possibly the best hotel in London that I've stayed in (second to the Ritz), went for 2 days for work reasons and couldn't bring myself to leaving. Outstanding
S. W.
Our stay at the the Rembrandt was wonderful. Great service, delicious full breakfast, quiet, clean environment. Definitely recommend and would stay here again
J. L.
Great location. Staff are quite friendly and helpful. Housekeeking services are however not impressive. Wake up call program on the phone failed to work and the room was quite sparsely furnished. I had expected more from this hotel.
Overall rating is 3.5 out of 5

The location of the hotel is perfect, makes a big PRO towards the hotel. The hotel itself could be updated in terms of room, LCDs, health club, and breakfast (compare the hotel breakfast to any breakfast offers in the area and it´s way …

Excellent choice. Breakfast was a plus, service was excellent.

The hotel was wonderful in all departments. The meals are huge, you won’t be disappointed!
