Wonderful, went for and afternoon tea to celebrate a friends special birthday. The hotel was beautiful and the customer service was exceptional. From the ladies that took us to table and then our waiters, you couldn’t fault them and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be going back with other friends.

What can I say? In a single word - Faultless! But this hotel 🏨 deserves so much more. The concierge staff outside the entrance are cheerful, friendly and super efficient, taking your suitcase from you and delivering to your room, worry free. The reception area is calm and tranquillity itself. Daniella gave us a tour of everything and escorted us to our room. Super very comfortable bedroom and bathroom with every amenity you can possibly need. Whilst we popped out in the afternoon a member of staff left a little birthday 🎂 cake for Sally in our room ready for our return. Now that is what you call attention to detail! Breakfast is another understated event of perfection. Whilst ordering I briefly asked for lean bacon 🥓 whilst Sally didn't, so she had 2 different bacon cuts, streaky and best smoked back, but I was served extra smoked back bacon rashers all trimmed of rind and fat. Poached eggs were perfection, as was the best Cumberland Sausage I have ever tasted. Wonderful! Fresh fruit, Freshly Squeezed Orange 🍊 Juice, and super smooth Coffee ☕ makes the whole experience impeccably faultless! 👌 you really can see why The Savoy Hotel 🏨 is one of, if not the best hotel in the world! 🌎

Outstanding 7 course dining experience at the Chef's table today 😍 Food amazing & faultless! All courses superb! The main duck course, including garnish, was divine! 😍 The hardwork and dedication seen in the kitchen was admirable, especially that of the young Chef on Garnish (Tommy I believe his name was) ticket after ticket, checking each item dished. Our waiter, who was Head waiter George, was the best waiter we have ever had. So professional, welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you for a memorable experience! All staff encountered welcoming, friendly and professional.
Sadly my husband and I had to leave before desert etc due to childcare but the rest of our party remained and remarked all served after was outstanding - the best desert they have had! Head chef was lovely and gave us our deserts to take home. Can't wait to eat them!
The hotel itself was stunning, with intricate decor and foliage 😍Thank you for a wonderful afternoon of dining we aim to return soon!
Ps: your Sunday dinners looked amazing!

Writing this update after being invited back by the Savoy for them to show that the experience of the previous visit was unusual.
Have to say that this was leagues better. We had the Valentine's afternoon tea. The sandwiches were of a much much higher standard. They were more varied, and felt fresher made. The desserts were better too, shown by the fact we ate all but one!
I have to say the staff were more attentive, engaging, and simply more professional. I hope that this wasn't from a bias to impress.
I've changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars for this. It would never be 5 because of the previous experience, and because I'm hard to please.
Previous review, because it's important to have context:
Went for afternoon tea and wasn't that impressed.
Putting aside the mix-up around the sandwiches, the vegetarian option just wasn't that great. There was a tofu-olive one (I think) that made my mouth dry.
And the rest were unimaginative. The cakes were pretty poor, with only the fruit cake being any good.
There are better afternoon teas, even for the atmosphere, elsewhere in London.

What can I say...the afternoon tea was fabulous. Great experience, wonderful surroundings. Our waiter Jack was attentive. Only criticism is that initially only one of us wanted the champagne tea, but then another decided part way to have a glass too, however they were charged for the Tea plus a full price glass at £21.
Well worth a visit!!

Having had our theatre show cancelled 20 minutes before the start and recieving dreadful customer service we went to The Beaufort Bar where they know how to treat their customers and all was well again. The floral displays were gorgeous. I can't wait for my next visit in April.

Visited the Savoy Grill. Excellent. Great service, superb attention to detail and helpful advice. That day they were able to serve a halal fillet steak and easily the best steak I've ever had.

At Savoy theatre to see musical Pretty Woman which is based on the film. This has received mixed reviews, however we enjoyed the songs acting and storylines used. Kept many of the key moments of the film and original soundtrack was wonderfully sung. The audience were in the theatre for a Friday night of fun, songs and enjoyment, they were fairly raucous and lubricated but this added to the atmosphere and all who stayed were on their feet and singing along with the finale...Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison

Our stay here was perfect . I stayed last when I was pregnant with my daughter ( pictured ) and it was just as beautiful. The beds just as scrumptious and the staff so incredibly helpful , polite and nothing was too much too help us. The pool is warm and the bars are stunning … we were on a visit to the theatre which the Savoy is ideally located by. I will be back as my eldest daughter unfortunately could not come with us , thank you xx

Wonderful afternoon tea service was impeccable. Toilets could have done with a bit of maintenance and an eye kept open for when the soap was running low very minor point to an otherwise excellent experience

This hotel is pure luxury. If you really want to be pampered to the extreme then this is the place for you. From the front lobby to the elegant lifts and plush corridors this place oozes decadence and finery. We were offered the turn down service which I thought would be just a case of plumping up the already soft pillows and rolling back the duvet, far from it. Certain very elegant lamps were turned off and others left on, slippers placed by the bed on a very cute mat and fresh water on the bedside tables. Curtains were drawn and classic fm was playing very softly on the radio. I'm not sure how just a few tiny details could create such a relaxed and calming ambiance to a room but it did.
I took a dip in the heated pool on the third floor at around 7pm and had the whole place to myself. I truly felt like a king.
All the staff we came into contact with were polite, helpful and kind and housekeeping is nothing like I have seen before. They pay attention to the tiniest details in the room and make everything look just right everytime they clean. You definitely pay a price for all this but life is short and this is one place you have to stay in at least once.

The staff were amazing the room was amazing treated absolutely fabulous . Fantastic birthday stay, food in river restaurant amazing, and cocktails in hotel bar amazing. Only let down was Ramseys bar and grill. Highly recommend a stay at the savoy will definitely return 🙂

Had a late lunch here with two friends in their new Riverside restaurant. As you would expect service and food were first class. Menu was mainly fish but did have a couple of choices for the meat eaters. Superb wine and drinks menu. Only the best at the Savoy. Service was immaculate. Friendly and extremely professional. Next visit will be for afternoon tea! Can't wait to return.

Beautiful Hotel, slight mix up with our room booking we spent two nights in a personality suite. Breathtaking room, incredible views, impeccable service. Enjoyed both the gym and pool during our stay, the pool is stunning. I could not praise the staff highly enough, throughout our stay we were treated like both friends and royalty.

Luxury in all its extension.
An unbeatable treatment, in our case we went to dinner and I have to admit that we were not wrong with the recommendation that we opted at the end to go.
If it is true that it entails a not inconsiderable cost but you know that there you do not fail.
When I return to London it will be a must-see.

Walked into the Savoy with my wife this evening. Was welcomed at the door and in the foyer as always. When I got to the Beaufort bar area I felt somewhat dismissed. I requested a table that was free in the bar area and was offered a table just outside the bar for only 45 minutes. Felt like the worst table in a beautiful establishment. I politely declined. There was a time I was welcomed and nothing within reason was too much trouble. I have a table booked on the 27th March. I am now hoping I made the right decision.

Visited for my birthday and I must admit I had a great experience. From check in to check out. Room was amazing and bed so comfortable. We did the whole experience the savoy grill the American bar and of course afternoon tea. The only fault I had was in the grill my fillet steak was very dry and tough although they did do another steak for me it was the same. I fairness they were only going to charge me for the bottle of wine we had, but I could not accept that as my daughters meal was amazing and they did try to rectify my steak which I really appreciated. I would stay there again but would not have a steak. Thank you to all the staff at the savoy you made my birthday the best ever.

Fantastic '5 STAR' stay for two nights over Valentines & 40th Birthday! You will be treated as royalty from the minute you arrive at the stunning entrance until departure. The staff were absolutely wonderful throughout our visit, from check-in at reception, spa visit and restaurant staff. Special mention goes to Max in the Beaufort Bar for his impeccable & friendly service, making us feel relaxed in his company, an asset to the hotel!
We were lucky enough to have the beautiful pool to ourselves & has the best spa facilities I've experienced across the world. Looking forward to another visit as soon as possible for a special occasion, thank you to all the Team!
Small mention of hotel improvement areas needed are: Lack of USB charging in rooms, No snacks in room to have with tea (had to purchase outside & bring in), Empty mini-bar except for 2 bottles of water & milk, no obvious additional Valentines decoration within the hotel this year.
J. W.
The hotel itself was simply stunning - the service was exactly as you would hope the Savoy to offer. But it was after leaving that the level of service really just disappeared. I booked using a Suite Upgrade offer on my ALL Accor account - …
J. S.
AMAZING!!!! The Spa is fabulous and Zara is a true gem, she was so lovely and really went that extra mile.
We also had afternoon tea which again was top notch......one of the best we have ever had. Really loved the silver tableware and teapots.......you HAVE to visit if you get the chance 👍🥰
C.
Amazing Christmas decorations set up. Highly recommend to visit even for a drink in their Champagne bar or American bar which has pianist on in the evening. Very nice service and welcome albeit feels rehearsed and not personalized or engaging in conversations that you might expect in such bars. None the less very professional hence 5 stars.
F. 1.
Great decor and outstanding service. Disappointed though with very limited choice on set lunch. No vegetarian option on printed menu though something rather uninspired was offered
L.
Wonderful staff, impeccable service, elegant setting and a really lovely afternoon tea for a special birthday that went down very well. Even the bathrooms are exquisite! It is expensive but then you are paying for all of the above, it's not just about the food ... it's the Savoy experience!
A. H.
My son booked afternoon tea for my husband and I to celebrate my birthday. It was fabulous the food the staff the service the waiters were friendly and made us feel special. Very attentive to visitors needs. If you get the chance to visit for afternoon tea I would recommend the Savoy. A great experience.
G. P.
Fantastic gluten free afternoon tea with lovely friends. Great venue with first class service from Rashmin, who is a true an asset to The Savoy. I look forward to the next visit.
N. H.
Had dinner at the "chefs table". Fabulous private eating experience with each meal explained by the chefs that prepared the dish. Our waiters were lovely, extremely efficient and friendly. Definitely an experience I won't forget!
S. B.
Spent my birthday weekend at the Savoy ... I thought it was fantastic, the rooms are very nice, lots of space as you would expect. Fantastic service Again as you would expect..word of advice if you wanted to drink the either of the bars best to book. We have stayed at the Ritz in the past and it's a difficult call which is better...the Ritz is more of a period style building and the Savoy is more contemporary ... But it is still a fantastic experience, and in a great location to walk to where ever 😁
M. S.
Great experience spending a couple of nights at the Savoy; it's obviously iconic for a reason. Good service in a comfortable atmosphere. Would definitely return.

I stayed here with a friend when I was in college in the 1980s. It was an extravagant Spring Vacation Trip gifted by my friend's parents. It was simply outstanding. Simply outstanding. I have never again stayed in such a magnificent hotel. So romantic and full of history. Impeccable service.
I. K.
Really enjoyed the experience and the hotel. Lovely place and the staff were fantastic. I did ask for sparkling water but it didn’t get delivered which was a shame but overall fab.. and if I can afford it I will be back

We had an afternoon tea at The Savoy and each member of staff we spoke to from start to finish gave us an excellent service, a friendly face and made us feel so welcome at the hotel. Our experience was perfect and I cannot wait to return. I would like to say a special thanks to our waiter, Florin who went above and beyond for us - he is a credit to the savoy.
A. A.
Heaven has nothing on The Savoy. A magical place that exudes beauty in every way. Perfect service, and the high tea is not to be missed. Nor is Beaufort bar which is the best bar I’ve ever set foot inside. Thank you for having me. Ivan should be promoted!

One of the best experiences we've ever had. After a slight mix up with our room booking we spent two nights in a personality suite. Breathtaking room, incredible views, impeccable service. Enjoyed both the gym and pool during our stay, the pool is stunning. I could not praise the staff highly enough, throughout our stay we were treated like both friends and royalty. If you can only do this once in your life, do it. It is an amazing place to stay and you will love every second.

Had a wonderful afternoon tea just before Christmas, the staff and food was amazing. We had a live pianist which added that little bit of something special to our experience and the decorations were just incredible and really festive.
R. T.
Can't wait to return the staff are amazing Can't do enough for you! The Hotel is absolutely beautiful! Our room was lovely extremely comfortable! The food is to die for seriously the best food we've had we ordered room service and ate at the Savoy grill! Thanks for an amazing stay! 🥰
S. M.
Absolutely gorgeous tea room! Beautiful interior. The sandwiches and cakes were delightful (although, we couldn't finish all the cakes, they did pack it up for us in a lovely little box and bag). Had the Jasmine tea... Amazing! And the tea room was just gorgeous with a live piano player too, just to make it more relaxed! Only thing that was wrong was we were assigned two new members of staff who were very slow (hence the 4 stars) otherwise perfect!
A. M.
Absolutely love this place. One of my favourite places of all time. Staff are amazing. Atmosphere is lovely. I can't wait to go back.
D. J.
Staff excellent; breakfast fab…..but room very average for the amount charged and most of the facilities in the hotel (restaurants, bars) are constantly full and you can’t get a sniff of a table. All in all, underwhelming
G. W.
Staying at the Savoy was a dream come true. They surpassed their reputation. The attention to detail and the willingness of the staff to please was 1st class. I look forward to returning
C. J.
Had a great stay at this hotel! I would rate it 10 stars if i could, very close to London’s Covent Garden, the theatre’s and great public transport links with a taxi pick up point right outside! The stay are fantastic and are a credit to the hotel! I look forward for my next stay!
J.
What a lovely place to have afternoon tea. The setting was wonderful with lots of character and history of The Savoy Hotel. The service was fantastic, the selection of teas were fabulous, there were so many to choose from. The staff were on hand for advice and help us choose the teas that suited our food. Some of us had a a glass of champagne which tasted fantastic.
All the food was freshly made and tasted amazing. The sandwiches and cakes delicious.
We came home stuffed with little packages to bring home as we couldn't finish all the cakes.
R. C.
Here celebrating my 70th. All impeccable....food service afternoon tea cocktails. Nothing was too much. Only gripe why are jeans allowed?
N. M.
We had a truly wonderful stay at The Savoy All the staff were smiling, charming and efficient with appropriate decorum The breakfast in the Thames Foyer was outstanding many thanks to the Breakfast Supervisor, following my comment on the tea for presenting me with a complimentary quantity. The decor ambience and overall aura of this iconic hotel lives up to the name SAVOY We wish we could have stayed longer !
M. M.
Very friendly, food great, staff very chatty. The main man in restaurant Henry tells you the history of Savoy, its like family to him, been there twice will go back again
J. S.
Beautiful building filled with beautiful things and beautiful people. The staff here just can't do enough nothing is too much trouble. I would not hesitate to return or recommend. Fabulous stay from start to finish 🌟
M. P.
Lovely hotel always wanted to visit .Don't need to stay there to go in. There is a bar where you can have a drink. The afternoon tea is amazing. Must go make sure you have some money very expensive well worth it
J. C.
We ate at the Savoy Grill where the environment was beautiful and the food was incredible (I can highly recommend the oysters) but what made it really special was the staff - they couldn't have been more attentive and friendly.
After dining we retired to the cocktail bar which was stunning and again, the staff were fantastic. It is the perfect location for a special occasion.

So I haven't gone into one of the rooms of this hotel however from what I did see it was a lot more better than its Sister Hotel The Fairmont Windsor Park service was superb the food was excellent I had no issues here whatsoever but again I remind you I didn't stay here I was told however that the rooms were very nice.
A. G.
Booked for my wife's 50th birthday. Arrived not knowing what to expect. The staff were so down to earth and really made us feel at home and very special. Nothing was to much. Really enjoyed our stay and will certainly do it again.
A. C.
Fantastic food and fantastic customer service. I would highly recommend it. Cream teas were out of this world.

Spent three wonderful nights at Savoy, even if the only reason for it being wonderful was our historic association of walking through the doors and it being wonderful - my brothers third stay, my fifth stay, my fathers seventh and his friends first.
All was ok (OK!), and it definitely was The Savoy. Although; new staffing was evident - not quite as refined as when we have stayed before. And very very slow bar service. There was even a key mix up of our three rooms by the reception team ('one job...' comes to mind!). My brother was even stopped by one of the reception team to be quizzed about his identity, despite only checking in with me 4 hours earlier! Very few familiar faces on the staff team; except at the front door; where Tony, Rob & Genci gave their usual exceptional service.
The true disappointment came with the Gordon Ramsay brand...
The Savoy Grill (our first time - we usually use Smith & Wollensky, but fancied seeing what the hype was about) was an absolute disappointment - we enjoyed Sunday nights Steak & Co in South Ken. more (yes, Steak & Co). Despite this we still booked to eat breakfast in the new Ramsay River Restaurant on Saturday morning - not a patch on the experience given during a Kaspar's breakfast in the past. Ramsay has rebranded Kaspar's, over priced Kaspar's & short staffed Kaspar's. It is evident why The Savoy invites guests to enjoy breakfast in The Thames (that experience was 100% Savoy - well done TF!).
This is the first time we have The Savoy without saying "we'll see you soon" to Tony. Left underwhelmed by our Ramsay experience and some little things which wouldn't matter, if it wasn't The Savoy.
Our next London visit will not be one that is planned knowing which of the "great-6" hotels to stay at, sadly!
The 5-stars are given as an average of our collective stays over the years. Had I been basing it solely on this stay; I'd have clicked four whilst hovering over three!
D. J.
It a big place that accommodates various races of life. It's well organized, well secured with highly recommended security tech. Well mannered and professional staffs and highly humane, they treat you like a king or a queen. You need to experience this place
C. S.
The stuff dream's are made of. Free upgrade to a junior suite was a total surprise. The staff are so very friendly, can't wait to come back again, and we've not even finished with today! A fantastic 25th wedding anniversary gift from our wonderful children
M. T.
what can you say....it's the Savoy!!!! .staff extremely politeful..the only thing stopping it being 5 stars is that I wanted a whisky sour.. and told it would have been £18.. ok it's the Savoy... but I would have to wait 30 mins.. sorry 4 stars..
Z. T.
A fantastic experience, couldn't fault a thing. The best way to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary! Thank you.

My husband surprised me for our 30th wedding anniversary. We stayed at The Savoy hotel. Everything was perfect, Love it so much with lots of nice surprises, Amazing room, food and service. We had a fantastic time.
R. B.
Great experience, living the high life for 3 days. Enjoyed it greatly.
Very friendly and attentive staff, with nothing to much trouble, but that's what you pay.
Maybe a little over priced, though glad we've done it.
K. B.
We had dinner at Gordon Ramsay's Savoy Grill. It was excellent! Beef Wellington and a Ribeye, all were cooked beautifully, as were the French fries and Pomme Puree. Excellent service as well.
M.
WOW we had a fantastic one night stay, wish we could have stayed longer. Amazing staff who are incredibly polite and welcoming. Room was stunning, very comfortable bed. Cannot praise enough. Beautiful building with so much history. Oh and breakfast was awesome 💗
H. V.
Visited The Gordon Ramsay Restaurant "Savoy Grill" for a family meal. Absolutely wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend. Plenty of staff who each individually had their own job to do, so attention to detail was spot on! If you have a special event to celebrate then this is the place to go. Just walking up to the entrance of The Savoy and going through the swing doors, you get a feeling of nostalgia as this amazing hotel has so much history.
L. M.
Edit: What a lovely time we have had! Thank you to the staff who made us feel welcome and at home. It made our Anniversary very memorable. Thank you again and hope to see you soon
J. M.
Amazing experience, staff very attentive. The doorman at the front of the hotel was incredibly helpful - it was raining and he individually escorted us, under an umbrella to the taxi, I will always remember this ! A small gesture that went an incredibly long way for us. We had afternoon high tea, food was amazing and so was the ambiance. We were made to feel very special. My only grumble was that we were made to wait after having had a phone call to bring our booking brought forward - this was rectified by free champagne ! When pouring our tea the waitress used the wrong tea strainer and cup, I think she got the guests in our group muddled up, and we never received our drinks to go with the high tea - corrected by taking them off of our bill. All in all, fab experience and I would definitely go again and definitely recommend
S.
Lovely interior, drinks were very nice, didn't stay in hotel due to £1500/night price tag.
M. R.
We visited The Savoy for post theatre cocktails. Everything was impeccable, the Christmas themed decor was beautiful. Grandeur at its finest !!
H. B.
We spent our wedding anniversary weekend here and it was absolutely amazing. Debra and Laura made all the arrangements prior to our arrival and were really accommodating. The location for The Savoy could not be better, on the banks of the River Thames in one of the greatest cities in the world! The entrance is an experience, the lobby although small was beautifully appointed and decorated for Christmas, an instagrammer's paradise!. Valentin welcomed us with impeccable charm and assisted us to our room. For London the rooms are spacious, and beautifully furnished giving them a warm, cosy and personal feeling. Everything was spotless, our housekeeper visited twice a day, we had new towels, toiletries, slippers by our bed and even the thermostat was adjusted so we came back to a nice warm room after a night out. We used the spa facilities and again everything was impeccable, from Nelline who made our booking to our therapists Summer and Zara everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating. The gym is well equipped and has a huge range of weight and cardio equipment. The pool is well maintained and just at the right temperature. The building itself is stunning with some amazing period features, again everything is spotless and so well maintained, it makes you feel special just being there! We drank at the American Bar and the Beaufort Bar, and although there was a bit of an issue with the timing for drinks at the Beaufort, the staff more than rectified any discrepancies. We had breakfast at the Savoy Grill (separate review). Checkout was a sad experience but again everyone was super efficient. This is how every hotel should be, from the accommodation, to the staff and to the food everything was impeccable. I don't expect everyone to get everything right all the time, and I can understand sometimes there will be issues especially after the difficult time everyone has had over the last 18 months, however The Savoy staff were absolutely amazing. The staff and the hotel is an asset to The Fairmont Brand and we cannot wait to be back with the whole family for next Christmas. Anyone who thinks London has lost it's charm just needs to spend some time at The Savoy. Thank you for a stunning and unforgettable stay!
J. W.
Well looked after, treated just like all the other customers even though it was obvious we had just come in for a treat and were not the 'expected clientele' for such an establishment.
K. G.
Had Champaign high tea as a special treat. This was the most amazing experience. Every thing was top class a Fantastic experience. The waiting staff were absolutely brilliant knowledgeable and very helpful. I can't recommend this enough.
A. S.
Beautiful. Wonderful experience. All the staff were incredibly friendly and courteous. We had drink at The Simpsons Bar on the first floor, slightly gutted that the American Bar was closed but I guess we have to re-visit.
Incredible interiors. Vibrant hotel
The bar is not over-priced, great bar snacks too!
Must visit.
J. P.
Fantastic!! Went for lunch to Savoy Grill. Food out of this world. Brilliant service from friendly, helpful staff.
A. S.
What can I say apart from more than 5 star.. keep up the great work guys. And that includes staff behind the scenes ..
A. S.
We had a virgin experience that cost £99, our bill came to over £200, so beware sides and drinks and gratuities are extra. So for a lunch that was 200 quid I was disappointed that you could only choose from 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts.although the main (duck) was delicious.
D. P.
Wonderful afternoon tea in probably London's most elegant foyer, surrounded by live piano music and smiling professional staff
C. G.
Wonderful hotel, genuinely lovely people who can’t do enough for you from the room staff the event team to the guy fixing a tap in the gents, all had a smile and a kind word. So glad we chose the Savoy for our daughter’s wedding.

There is only one Savoy Hotel . Iconic Dining ..... In a word Wonderful , Loved the food and the service , flawless from start to finish .... Bucket loads of style we left feeling 2 foot taller and 6 times happier !

A wonderful experience! The staff were very attentive, food delicious and pianist great.
Lovely memories with dear friends it was simply, the best!

Everything I expected. Great Staff. Was here for a week. Really looked after me. Even when there was a minor problem, they looked after us with aplomb and grace.
M. R.
Definitely worth a visit some time in anyone's life. Beautiful interior, fabulous rooms, warm, friendly and professional staff, great food (especially breakfast), lovely bar, great spa....it has it all.
23 of us were all so well looked after. Thank you Savoy.
P. V.
Amazing hotel and location. A short walk from St Helier. The room was lovely with our own balcony. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant was great value for money. I wasn't too keen on the main option but they were happy to change it. All in all a great experience. Thanks!
L. G.
Wow wow wow what can I say. Tbh I'm lost for words about this beautiful hotel. My hubby brought me here for my 50th birthday and from the moment we arrived to the minute we left we felt like royalty. From the doorman to staff and everyone else who works there 1st class. We had a river view room which was beautiful and the florist who put the Xmas tree in my room was a lovely touch. A 2hr tour of London in the Rolls Royce is a must. Overall the most fantastic hotel we have ever stayed in will definitely be coming back in the not too distant future. We'll done savoy hotel keep up the good work xx
K. S.
Very Enjoyable stay here but with some small issues.
Firstly the staff are amazing! Professional, polite and attentive.
Excellent location for theatres and Covent Garden.
I recommend booking online as our reservation was made over the phone which apparently goes through to Canada and there was some confusion over the butler service we have booked, we did receive the butler service but this unfortunately seemed only for the first day after check in which was disappointing and was left to normal room service staff. Which on the 2nd day took 40min to deliver a bottle of champagne to our room.
Our first room had a faulty A C unit and the room was sweltering, after a failed attempt by maintenance to fix it we was quickly moved to a new suite and complimentary drinks in the American Bar, this issue was handled excellently by the Oliver.
There was a issue with a couple of the furnishings.
Rooms are extremely comfortable but limited tv channels, all sports but no films.
Breakfast is delicious here, there is a small fee (£5 per day) added for dining in your suite but its served all day to the rooms and only to 10am in the restaurant.
There was a problem with the breakfast order on the 2nd day! Tea with no cups, toast with no butter, 3 bowls of beans we ordered 1 and bacon missing from 1 order. All of this was dealt with immediately and professionally by a server Jack.
American bar is charming and well worth a visit of a evening, best to pre book a table.
See Savoy Grill for my review on the restaurant.
24h gym available, also swimming pool and treatments offered.
Tipping general staff is welcomed and appreciated but if you feel uncomfortable with this you can pay a 5% fee based on your room rates on check-out.
Overall is the Savoy worth the money and would i return?
Simply 100% yes, its a place where someone should have the pleasure of experiencing at least once in there lifetime.
K. H.
We booked for a couple of nights to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. I won’t call the people we met ‘staff’ as they treated us like old friends and could not do enough for us to make our stay so memorable. From the moment we arrived we were met with both luxury and warmth from people who genuinely care about their guests and are eager to ensure they surpass the expectation of you as an individual. Every detail is considered and the champagne breakfast in our room was the highlight of a most memorable stay. My wife was quite emotional when we checked out this morning and everyone at The Savoy has played a massive part in creating wonderful memories and an event for a very special milestone in my wife’s life. I cannot recommend highly enough for anyone considering the Savoy experience and we’ll certainly be looking to visit this iconic hotel in the near future….thank you once again for making our trip a wonderful one…kindest regards. Keith

I had afternoon tea there and enjoyed it
And is a great Hotel for a stay connected with your family and friends and for a business meeting over lunch or dinner your can get a apartment suite over looking the Thames river ❤️ Some people book a apartment for life so when they are in London they have some where to stay! ❤️😀🎶 You might feel like you are in the clouds 💭
J. M.
Riverside restaurant food was good until 55 minutes delay for main course. Kitchen had problems with orders need improvement .

All great but surely they can find a decent wine for less than £88? Lunch for two £231 including service and the aforementioned Chablis. I wouldn't call it 3 times better than a good pub lunch costing £75. The staff were like magicians, it has to be said, and the wine was kept ice cold and the glass never became empty (till the bottle was gone!). A fun experience.

When in London.this is the place to stay
.5 star hotel. I recommend the suites.
Because you get butlers and valet's
24 hour a days.
Room service is at our disposal 24 hour a day.
Suite are bigger and have gorgeous
Views of the Thames River.
Photos below are the royal suite @ the Savoy Hotel.

Out of this world! Needs more than 5 stars. Not Premier Inn prices, ha ha, but for a special occasion saved up for it is actually worth every penny. A chance to feel pampered to the nth degree. Even if there's a minor hitch it'll be dealt with as if you were visiting royalty!

Staying at the Savoy was an interesting experience. The hotel is an icon legend so it is difficult for any establishment to live up to a century+. The room was a classic and buy classic I mean old roomstyle slightly fussy wooden furniture possibly looks nice in a picture. It's one of those rooms designed before the advent of laptops and mobile devices and has not been updated. There is good WiFi but far too few outlets and only one USB charger (hidden in the radio).
What does do is service! Everyone was fantastic and it worked like clockwork. They passed the the acid test of a hotels service where my bags got from my room to my car with almost no instruction.
Cleansers, maintenance staff everyone was delightful.
N. K.
The hotel's history, ambiance & opulence not to mention intricate of various periods of time adds mystery as well as intrigue. I have been there before the covid & had a brilliant tea service in the garden louge of the 🏨, some changes added to the entrance also not like as it used to just go 4 sipping tea straight at the foyer of the hotel now you have to book 4 the afternoon tea & the American bar was closed for refurbishment
So I was delighted to have offered to be served in the very intriguing moon 🌙🌚shining dark busy bar 🍸🤔by generous head of staff Called David, beautiful receptionist & very American accent spoken 🤔lovely and most obliging Waiter. Indeed was really delightful afternoon & the foods, drinks and the service deserve 10 star 🌟🤩
the place was buzzing with happy crowds well satisfied 😌relaxing & I promised to go there 4 my much, much adored Afternoon tea but it will takes time as I am out of foot operation & crippled can't walk sorry 😀

From arrival to leaving, nothing is to much trouble. A stunning building, fantastic food, super clean and v=central to everything but what makes the savoy stand out from the rest are the staff, polite, helpful, friendly and surprisingly down to earth. We can’t wait to come back.

One of my favourite hotel stays ever. The service was nothing short of exemplary. Ordered gimlets to the room and they were perfect. Ordered a meal at 1am and they delivered a full dining experience, including table, condiments and ice bucket for the drinks. Rooms were comfortable and well equipped. Restaurant has a good vegan menu, and the Beaufort drinks were exceptional.
M. H.
Just popped in for a mocktail another item to cross off my eldest daughter's wish list. The American bar has the kindest staff, a lovely experience xx
L. L.
A truly monumental experience! From start to finish, pure luxury, Simply The Best! We adore The Savoy Family and cannot wait to return.
M. S.
My favourite place to stay, staff are friendly, food is impeccable and rooms are beautiful. Would very much recommend
S. B.
I’d like to thank The Savoy and especially Sean for the welcome they extended for my 40th.
The hotel, room and staff were simply amazing and that’s why it will be our hotel of choice when stopping in London. Absolutely fantastic
C. B.
Had lunch at The Savoy a number of times and have never been disappointed. If you have a special occasion ahead of you, I def recommend a reservation here.

I visited the savoy with my mum last week and it was everything i wanted it to be.
Like many, we’ve had a very trying year and my mum is also struggling with a broken hip, so i decided to treat us to a night at The Savoy.
I had high expectations and every single one was met.
All the staff went out of their way to be welcoming, warm and kind.
I had mentioned when booking that it was also my mums birthday at the end of the month, we got an upgrade to a luxury king and they also left a little cake in the room.
The room was simple but lovely. The bed is the comfiest bed i have ever slept in, the pillows were heaven.
The turn down service is a nice touch.
We also visited the american bar which had, luckily, reopened the night before. It was amazing, from the ambience, to the cocktails, to the waiters to the pianist. An unforgettable evening.
But as lovely as the hotel is, it would be nothing without the staff. Michael at the front desk was wonderful, as was the doorman we came in to contact with (didn’t get his name but he wasn’t the elder gentleman who was featured on the itv programme). A special mention to the Irish man who we spoke to upon check out (again didn’t get his name but it was about 10am Wednesday 6th October) he was incredibly lovely, good luck with your new job at The Savoy.
Every member of staff we came in to contact with made us feel so welcome, felt like coming home.
Thank you to The Savoy for a wonderful stay and we can’t wait to come back.
G. Y.
Loved the experience with my fiancee. Food and staff first class. George. Norfolk.
P. C.
My friend & I booked a Savoy chauffeur driven car which took us on a 2 hour sight seeing tour of London then brought us back for a champagne lunch in The Grill...it was amazing. Food & service were second to none. Had drinks in there the night before too. One member of staff really went above all expectations to help us during our stay, nothing was too much trouble..so thankyou Gerard x
S. K.
Amazing restaurant. The best service, great tasting food, nice sized portions too! An absolute must if you're in town!
K. V.
Great place, the people working there were very friendly and they made us feel like we were at home.
W. C.
Had an amazing time with my Fiancé after having an outstanding meal in your Gordon Ramsay restaurant and then proposing, everything was perfect! Thank you for providing such a great service and making this an evening we will never forget.
L. H.
Food delicious. Catered to all dietary needs
. Staff were friendly and helpful
j. B.
Nice old style venue. Had a bar and lots of seating. Seats were a bit cramped and uncomfortable for guests time we were in them for gge musical
L. D.
Where to begin…
What an absolutely incredible experience!
We stopped by the Beaufort bar for some birthday cocktails & we were treated like royalty from the moment we walked in.
The staff were nothing short of amazing, so a huge thank you to Andrea F, Christian & Juan for giving me a birthday to remember.
The cocktail menu was extremely impressive, I think we worked our way through them all & can not wait to try them again.
To top it off I also received a delicious cake & beautiful handwritten birthday message.
We can not wait to come back, thank you so much again.
R. W.
Had a very nice breakfast a few weeks ago at the Thames foyer. Food was excellent and servers were very kind. Especially Florin and Nitsa. Will be returning many more times! :)
I. M.
Came here for drinks. Great service, special venue, exceptional selection. Expensive, but worth it for special occasions.
T. J. R.
There are better high teas in London.
The savoy is of course iconic, but like others of its calibre it’s looking tired and living off its name under a bygone era. The service was more or less fine, except that sadly there were two dirty champagne glasses at our table and no napkins. A plate of cakes went crashing to the floor nearby. A gorgeous grand piano belted out… modern pop songs (Enrique Iglesias… it was…tacky).
We accepted the generous offer of a complimentary glass of champagne by way of an apology for these slip ups. I also fully recognise the challenge facing luxury London hotels in particular, due to the labour market problems at the date of posting and the training required for such an establishment. Nonetheless hopefully in time things improve. The sandwiches were generally delicious, the tea was lovely and the cakes and deserts very well done. I will not go again however. If you were visiting London and looking for an iconic high tea, I would steer towards the Langham or Claridges.
M. S.
After the show there we had an early evening tea/dinner
You have to book which we did and it was gorgeous
Just say the Savoy and you associate it with class
It does not disappoint
B.
Unbelievably good from the second we walked in to when we got into the taxi to leave after checking out. Booked in for a one night stay, Afternoon Tea and meal at The Grill for my wife's 40th birthday and we were made to feel welcome, at home, comfortable and special by every single member of staff we spoke to. It's all very well having the luxury and the quality but for me, it's the staff who make it the 5 Star + experience.
Rahim & Jonathan on Concierge were extremely helpful, Jonathan showing us around where everything was so we didn't look lost when coming back down from our room later. Florin looked after us brilliantly in the Foyer for Afternoon Tea, and Abbie who wasn't serving us but still came over to talk and was lovely.
Thierry & his team in The Grill were as expected, superb. The food was exceptional, the wine wonderfully chosen & described by the Sommelier (I'm sorry we didn't get his name). At one point my wife started to pour herself another glass for Thierry to quickly get the Sommelier to do it. He wasn't looking at our table as serving someone else, we'd hate for him to get in a trouble over this, it was not his fault, it was ours for not knowing correct protocol! Please please please do not blame him!
But we have to give special mention to Mike who looked after us in The Reading Room. Exceptional service, politeness and friendliness from a wonderful young man. A true asset to the hotel and he deserves a pay rise!
The whole weekend was an absolute joy. Thank you all.
O. A.
Well well well, this 5 star hotel lived up to its name! Though our visit was not an overnight stay, however the time we spent here during our afternoon tea was exquisite 👌🏼😍
We had the most welcoming and professional staff on the day, we were running late for our afternoon tea as we traveled from MK; decided to ring in to extend and was nicely told how busy it was, the lady on the phone explained in a courteous manner the implications of an extended time but advised she will try he best to accommodate us.
Upon arrival, we were well received and ushered to our table.
Florin and his team who waited on us were superb! Everything they did was unquestionable. The afternoon tea itself was brilliant, presentation and all...the best part were the scones 😋
Some of the sandwiches were for a certain type of palette, and the tea never ran out 😅
The decor was lovely and great atmosphere all round.
There was nearby carparking in the national theatre car park which was about 15mins walk to the hotel (quite secure and not pricey)
Adjacent to Covent Garden and Waterloo, there is loads to see and shop! Where I would call the theatre district 😁
Oh the afternoon tea slots are 2 hrs and the discretionary charge is optional, there was a lovely pianist who played birthday songs for those of us who were celebrating 😍👌🏼
I would definitely visit again and this time for a "sleepover" 😂 highly recommended

My husband booked The Savoy as a surprise for my 30th birthday weekend and it was unbelievably special. From start to finish we were made to feel like royalty. We had the afternoon tea which was first class, breakfast at The Savoy Grill which again was outstanding. Our room was beautiful and room service was amazing the staff were so friendly. Since we’ve returned we’ve been watching the ITV programme on The Savoy because we miss it so much! I would love to be one of those returning customers that gets to know all the staff like family.. (we will know we’ve made it then). After my husband foolishly forgot my birthday a couple of years ago he has more than made up for it by choosing this hotel and I think I could safely say that The Savoy has saved our marriage (for now ha ha). It’s been 2 weeks since our stay and we are still on a high. Thank you for making my 30th birthday, thank you for giving my husband and I the most incredible memories and moments. It was without a doubt an unforgettable experience and one I’d like to have again and again and again
C. C.
Spectacular foyer, very disappointing function suite but with great company and terrific beef wellington to compensate.
J. A.
It's the Savoy one of the most luxurious hotels in the world. There is a good reason for that due to the amazing grand decor, the excellent customer service that is above and beyond, the food and drinks are amazing. Cocktails here are expensive but are they delicious ohhhhh yes. The staff also are all so smartly dressed, it makes you feel you have to up your dress code. I loved it and go back for events and drinks for a treat myself day. These photos are from a bridal event. Even there events are very grand and lush. It is expensive but you get value for money. You need to go there once look at what you can visit and book ahead. You wouldn't get disappointed. A real British institution.
I hope you find this helpful and if you do please click like and have a great time at the Savoy.
P. D.
Could do better, does everyone get an upgraded room? Ok I understand it's London but an upgraded room could have a better view than a brick wall, also why not a propped shower as opposed to one in a bath?
E. K.
Fantastically decorated for Christmas. The River is a chic restaurant with live band and nice food.
R. B.
Actually went to see a show at the Savoy theatre with the family. Well organised under the covid scenario. Provided proof of vaccination and all enjoyed the show.
P. W.
Top Place!
The Valet Parking is Amazing!
Other hotels are missing a massive trick! It genius, massively improves the overall experience.
N. H.
The Savoy was closed down and refurbished in the noughties. It shows in the public areas and restaurants which are lovely. Unfortunately the rooms feel a bit tired and small. The room I was originally given I had to ask to change as the bath was too small for me to fit in which was strange as I am not tall or particularly large. The front desk staff were very kind and allowed the change very graciously. Breakfast was nice but the service was slow and sloppy. Overall it was a somewhat underwhelming experience. I would recommend Claridge's or The Connaught as alternative.
K. M.
Had a very pleasant Afternoon Tea, excellent service from the staff, superb sandwiches and cakes, I also tried the Savoy's own tea blend which was very nice.
S. S.
Gorgeous. Amazingly Luxorious. The open bar was fabulous & the food was perfect. The only problem was the air conditioning was broken in the room where the wedding was held.
A. P.
First visit to The Savoy and I was blown away, totally amazing place.
B. S.
If I could give this experience a 10 out of 5, I would. Words can’t do justice to the meal we had at the Kitchen Table at The Savoy Grill. It was expensive, but worth every penny.
L. V.
Amazing stay. Staff very attentive, room outstanding. Definitely worth a trip
L. N.
We visited a few days ago, and the service was impeccable as always, it was wonderfully being back there, and the cocktails were perfect. We also ordered the oysters, which were amazing. Felt like such a treat to be out and about again, especially in such a wonderful venue. Tables were spaced well, and you felt perfectly safe there.
M. K.
Superb afternoon Tea in spectacular surroundings with wonderfully attentive staff. A special treat.
D. T.
I had the most wonderful stay for my 60th birthday. The staff were amazing. Cant wait to come back and it will be soon.
J. M.
We came for afternoon tea. Part of our 30th birthday celebrations. We had an unbelievable time and we loved every minute.
p. T. f. ..
I ll give five stars but we couldnt afford to tip the door man let alone go in .we walked past an wondered what it would be like .that was the extent of our visit .
S. T.
I couldn't have anything negative to write actually
Guess what I'm going there again in few weeks
What a lovely time with my husband alone. It felt so private n top quality lunch at Kaspar .
Amazing place . Delicious food and definitely top waitresses .
Thank you Savoy fitness and beauty and Kaspar
Since this review we have been there twice more. Had another lovely occasion yesterday. Great dinner at Gordon Ramsay. Thank you Savoy.
C. S.
Superb vegan afternoon tea with exquisite food and amazing service where nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Natasha who was so lovely and made sure our experience was a memorable one. Would definitely recommend and we will certainly be back.
C. S.
Exceptional etiquette from the staff with a professional manor. Very well managed establishment with outstanding food& beverages.
S. R.
An amazing stay to celebrate my birthday! The service is excellent, they even remember your name and got me more hairspray after I ran out. Thank you also to Johnny who has only just started at The Savoy, he was very friendly and helpful. We will be back soon.
s. b.
Lovely birthday surprise. Beautiful venue and staff are amazing and attentive and all dressed smartly with a smile on their faces
R. I.
Probably our 7th stay now and just amazing as ever. Amazing staff, Rob the doorman always friendly and welcoming. Room really nice (I love my tech and TVs are smart where you can cast from your phone so makes listening to music or watching films/Netflix etc. a doddle). We had breakfast to the room and it was hot and great quality. At the moment the American Bar is closed but they've made Solace outside the front of the main doors. Great cocktails and amazing to sit out and watch the world go bar. Great work Savoy, everything I'd expect for our special stay and cannot wait to come back.
M. S.
Beautiful place to enjoy architectural and fine arts. Extremely welcoming hospitality wrapped in high service standarts.
J. D.
Had a walk about after our lunch in The Grill. What absolutely stunning place The Savoy is. It's breathtaking.
P. J.
We stayed here celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary and boy o boy did they live up and surpass our expectations.
They made us feel so welcomed and special we just simply have to go back.
They upgraded us and we were fortunate enough to have Michael as our Butler and he is just the nicest, most professional person both of us have been privileged to meet.
Please stay here, you will never experience any hotel better, the whole presence and history behind this amazing hotel is second to none.
All staff from Michael, Concierge, reception, waiting on staff, housekeepers and very pleasant doorman are a credit to the Savoy.
Thank you once again.
Paul & Gill.

Afternoon Tea in the Thames Foyer, for wife's birthday. Wonderful setting - the pianist was great (the rendition of Happy Birthday for all the birthday guests was great!) - fantastic service, excellent champagne & tea. The food was delicious and we came out feeling full, relaxed, and thoroughly spoiled. Absolutely recommended.
S. K.
It's a nice hotel to stay & to eat good foods.
J. B.
Despite not staying in the hotel and the late hour we visited, the staff were friendly and accommodating and sat us in a busy Friday night. Expensive, but worth a visit.
s. p.
Well come on,its the Savoy. Known world wide,if you can afford it,stay there. You will be well looked after and made to feel special
B. C.
Had a fantastic 2 night stay at The Savoy Hotel. Cocktails at the Beaufort bar, champagne and Cocktails at Solas, excellent! All staff were brilliant, attention to detail made our weekend.
Y. O.
Thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Savoy hotel who made our stay so special. The suite was beautiful with a view of the Thames which you could never get bored of. The Savoy captures London at its best due to its location, fantastic views, beautiful décor and most importantly the staff; everyone at the hotel was friendly, helpful and welcoming. We look forward to seeing you all again soon. Thank you!
A. M.
Absolutely amazing, made us feel very welcome. Sean made the second day extra special with champagne in our room for my wife and I and we cannot wait to come back. Booked already with Robbie at front desk for September for my parents golden wedding anniversary 💛 thank you soo much Savoy.
L. A.
Food was delicious. Atmosphere amazing and the service was perfect. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, as well as super professional. Rocco was particularly helpful. Altogether an experience worth every penny!
S. G.
Went to Gordan Ramsey's Savoy Grill and had an absolutely wonderful time! Was my first time at The Savoy and all of the staff from the entrance and all around the hotel were so lovely. I really enjoyed the food and they had great vegetarian options. It was a lovely atmosphere, I could have stayed there all day! Would definitely go again 😊
B. C.
Beautiful, luxury hotel. Attended a luxury wedding here.
J. B.
Amazing hotel, as luxurious as you would expect and staff very friendly and helpful.
H. Q.
Absolutely wonderful afternoon tea with my mum. The staff were so kind and very helpful. The food was so delicious and we were even offered more! I would absolutely recommend anyone to go here.
L. N.
Always amazing!
Champagne and oysters in an exquisite setting!
Giovanni the barman was exceptional!
Staff are super friendly, professional and helpful.
I. P.
Lunch at the Savoy Grille. Can't fault it in any way. Lovely friendly staff with impeccable manners. Made to feel special. Food of exceptional quality. What a treat.
P. C.
If you want the BEST seafood in London, look no further than my favourite restaurant KaspArs at the Savoy Hotel.
O. T.
Fantastic very great food, can't wait to come back 😃
D. C.
It's the Savoy so in many ways it's just what you expect. From individual hand towels instead of paper or machines in the loos. To the champagne only rather than prosecco at the grill. A true high class experience top to bottom. If you get a chance please visit the Savoy grill and get the Wellington
E. C.
I highly recommend the piano bar, drinks and the restaurant! I was at dinner with a friend, we ordered fried frog legs and chateaubriand. The food was delicious and the waiting staff were nice.
c. h. s.
Good food but slightly lacking in attention to detail. Some table clothes not ironed properly, waiters busting out of their jackets, silver worn on tea strainers and holders. Ritz far more polished.
F. L.
Wonderful visit to The Savoy for afternoon tea. A must do when visiting London.
w. M.
Great place to visit iconic Hotel expensive bars drinks
S. L.
Can't fault it. Service was impeccable and very welcoming as always.
D. M.
Incredible hotel with amazing staff! We stayed for the weekend and it was seamless, there were no issues at all. We received a personal text service the evening before arrival which we continued to use throughout our stay - if we had any queries or if we wanted to make a reservation in the hotel, the staff were extremely efficient at accommodating us at the hotels restaurants and bars. They even made a reservation on our behalf at an external bar in Covent Garden which was fully booked online! We had a warm welcome from the doormen Rob and Tony which was a great start to the weekend. It is a luxurious hotel and the decor is magnificent, if you’re thinking about booking to stay at the Savoy please do not hesitate - it will be one of your best decisions! We will definitely be visiting again soon 😁
G. S.
Enjoyed dinner at the Solas restaurant last night. The food and setting were beautiful, but it was the service that really stood out. Chiara, Michael and Enzo were fantastic - warm, welcoming and utterly professional. They consistently went the extra mile and had us smiling throughout the entire meal. All a credit to their team.
R.
From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty - the staff couldn’t do enough for us and made our experience really special. The room, restaurants, bars and pool were predictably amazing. If ever have the opportunity of staying at the savoy please do it!
K. L.
What an amazing place this is...lovely staff in the American Bar they helped to make my 70th birthday celebration memorable...🤩
T. M.
A truly incredible experience that I would recommend to anyone on their stay in London. I went for my birthday and was treated to some balloons and a cake in my room upon arrival. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and accomodating and the waitstaff at Solas Bar went above and beyond to make my birthday special, with a complimentary glass of champagne and chocolate truffles. Beds and pillow left you feeling like you were sleeping on a cloud, and the facilities are immaculate. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of central London. The Vegetarian Breakfast was delicious and a great way to end my stay.
G. K.
An absolutely amazing experience. If there were 6 stars you would have them from me. My husband and I went for our 25th anniversary as a special treat it certainly was. I can't wait to return.
M. S.
Perfect birthday and anniversary weekend. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff who were friendly and helpful
Worth every penny made to feel welcome and comfortable. Worth a visit for a special treat, was made to feel a million dollars.
Cannot wait to return, thank you all for a perfect weekend x
R. D.
to be honest just been outside but can't wait my birthday to have just 2 nights
S. S.
I have been and worked in a few hotels but the savoy is something else emaculate place you could eat your food off the floor that's how spotless this grand 5* hotel is, welcoming polite staff and door men 😀
B. L.
We went for the outdoor pop up restaurant Solas and was being served by the most wonderful and courteous waitress called Catherine. We had such a lovely time and the decor was gorgeous. Highly recommended. They should do this every year! Love this place.
J. S.
Judging by the theatre price i can honestly say couldnt afford to stay here
W. A.
Gorgeous atmosphere and life music every night
C. G.
The service was attentive and enthusiastic, staff seemed to genuinely care about our dining experience. Food was delicious, decor was stunning 😍
T. R.
If you manage to find some good priced tickets, it's a must!
A. P.
It was good visit yesterday , actually i was worked there as a waiter and got good facilities for staff and guest as well.
M. m.
The two cocktail bars are quite nice, though a little bit pricy.
K. B.
Amazing hotel, nothing too much trouble. If you wish to be treated like royalty this is the place for you - although the prices obviously reflect this! Great place!
J. W.
Excellent from start to finish. Fantastic customer service worth every penny
Y. C.
Absolutely magical, an experience like no other. We went for afternoon tea and got the works. Even for a vegetarian and vegan, the food was beautiful. The staff are so well trained, their service is impeccable. And live music and the decor really finished the whole thing off. I could not be more grateful or happy about my time here, I would 100% come again and recommend to everyone to try it at least once for the opulent experience.
J.
Delicious champagne lunch in an art deco style airy restuarant.
Staff were welcoming and very professional.
Food was delicious.
Italian white wine was just right
J. L.
All the staff at The Savoy gave exceptional service during our visit in December. During our visit we got engaged and Marta went above and beyond to make sure it was something very special for us. Highly recommend The Savoy for both wonderful experience, exceptional service and great food and drinks!
S. H.
Afternoon tea here. Amazing experience. Staff very attentative.
C. N.
Gorgeous hotel, everything you'd expect from a top level hotel. Lovely, attentive staff
Y. F.
Beautiful hotel with excellent service and professional staff. Great location, comfortable room, a special Savoy’s atmosphere. We stayed for only one night and it was unforgettable. Thank you very much for the upgrade and lovely welcome amenity.
A. M.
I have recently visited for the Solas outdoors eating pop up restaurant - and what an experience!
I had visited the American Bar before, and the first thing that reminds me I'm at the Savoy is the sterling service from all the staff. Everyone is super friendly, acknowledges your presence and makes you feel very welcome. Special shout out to the Italian lady at the entrance (didn't grab her name), to Juan and Mike who took good care of us.
The decoration for Solas is absolutely stunning, with leafy drops and somewhat of a speakeasy style with cognac bottles hanging from what used to be the fountain at the iconic Savoy car roundabout.
The food menu is centered around seafood - we tried the platter for 2, and what a treat. You usually have to search a bit if you want nice seafood like that, but the lobster, the scallops, crab, oysters - definitely would recommend. Also, try the cocktails. LOVED the Golden eye and the Timeless. If you like an old fashioned, they will not disappoint.
Would come back again for sure!
M. S.
I absolutely adore high tea at the Savoy. British High Class at it's finest!
I. A.
Excellent meal in the Grill. Exceptional friendly service, nothing more required. Thank you.
C. L.
Oh my. What a place. Our room was so luxurious with the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the head butler Sean is a dream of a man, Plying us with complimentary champagne as it was our silver wedding. Pricey but worth every penny. I cant wait to return
L. A.
One of my favourite places to have a late night drink
D.
Where do I began ?!?! Booked the hotel as surprise engagement trip back in November and have been emailing the team to organise plans for when we arrived
The team who have helped me have not missed a thing and took the time to understand what I needed
Upon arrival we was greeted by the doormen who were warm , friendly like you was seeing a familiar family member
Then checking in we was told that we had been upgraded which was such a loverly surprise and appreciated .
I cannot thank every staff member enough. All of you made this trip special and ill never forget you all . Nothing was out of the question and everyone was so so happy to be there . Because of how the staff was with us . We are booking to return next year and making it our London home from home . Id like to personally thank you all
S. L.
This cute pop up for outdoor dining is worth making a reservation. The food was delicious and perfect for early dinner. Services impeccable as usual at the Savoy. We really loved the theme and styling when we joined the subtle links together. And little doggies welcome.
P. P.
We were privileged to shoot a beautiful wedding here back when things were normal! Perfect location, truly lovely decor and wonderful staff. The couple were so thrilled with the final imagery too which makes it all worth while. Can’t wait to come back soon, thanks team Savoy!
R. S.
We stayed here for a night for our honeymoon and it was the best stay we have ever had, amazing service. It was a night of luxury!
D. J.
went for a drink on Thursday, just a flat atmosphere, really wanted to like it
P. B.
Nothing like I expected, friendly staff but would not bother to go back
E. G.
Had a wonderful afternoon tea at The Savoy London.
c. d.
Really enjoyed our stay with you and all your staff were so helpful and happy
G. J.
Food at the grill was over cooked. Management dealt with it accordingly. Was extremely pleased with service. But my partner said the food was no.good
A. B.
Literally the best place in the world to go for a cream/high tea. The sandwiches are amazing (and the bread is moist and soft, so many fail here), the service though is where the Savoy stands out. Nothing was too much trouble and we were treated so well. Hospitality is a passion here.
L. H.
Best Beef Wellington I have ever had! Food was fantastic and cocktails were delicious. Only reason I gave 4 stars was because my food with my cocktails at the bar never arrived so I have to sit and watch my family it eat theirs, until we moved into the grill.
P. M.
Booked for the festive high tea and what a wonderful experience it was. Beautiful setting and atmosphere with the very talented pianist. What really made our visit perfect was the care from all the staff, but especially from our host Matilda. This has been such an awful year for people in hospitality with uncertainty and stalled careers, but from the moment we walked through the door the friendly smiles, attentiveness and first rate service made this a truly memorable experience. Thank you to all the staff at the Savoy and wishing you the very best for the future. We will definitely return.
R. k.
Always such an wonderful experience at the Savoy. My fondest memories. The dinning experience is above and beyond. Gorgeous food and attentive service. Just beautiful!
s. m.
Stunning afternoon tea. Perfect afternoon. Excellent, charming staff.
C. S.
Beautiful place in the old English style . Staff always attentive . Sad that the chocolate shop has gone .
J. R.
Definitely my
Favourite 5 star hotel in London. Fantastic and always a genuine 5 star experience .

Had afternoon tea with my son. It was a very nice experience. All the staff were very nice and friendly. Excellent service
D. H.
Popped in american bar for a cocktail great atmosphere excellent staff and service
G. M.
A beautiful hotel, well located, spacious rooms and a bar that is second to none. The bartender was making us drinks that he created for royalty (Princess Diana for one) and the stories that followed were all encompassing. There are a great many options for hotels in London, but if you want the REAL English experience and would suggest The Savoy every time. Can't wait to travel again and revisit.
R. w.
Just as expected . Perfect service . Great food and a wonderful experience
J. M.
Just stunning, really accomodating staff and really pleased to have our custom.
S. K.
We went to the Savoy Grill and Thierry the manager is worth going to the place. Food was excellent. I do not like Mr Ramsey but if you can afford it try it once. Only negative comment I have to make is that it is very dark.
A. G.

What an incredible hotel. We stayed here for my mum's 60th birthday surprise weekend away and the staff went above and beyond to make the stay perfect. The arranged for a cake to be waiting in the room on arrival, organised a drink in the American Bar and ensured that we had an amazing seat at both breakfast and afternoon tea. As a one off special occasion trip I cannot recommend this hotel more. The pool and gym facilities were well equipped and clean with ample towels and water provided. All staff were friendly and always happy to help.
W. W.
nice Luxury rooms and suites highly recommend.
A. F.
Had a lovely time seeing "Pretty Woman", just wished there was more than 5 toilets on the dress circle level.
C. D.
Very nice hotel, the American Bar inside is amazing.

Fantastic afternoon. Great service and was very spoilt for our 30th wedding anniversary ☺
J. L.
This most beautiful hotel has opened it’s doors after lockdown. Afternoon tea is served as always with flair and perfect attention to detail. If you fancy an elegant escape from reality take a seat at The Savoy and enjoy an indulgent afternoon of sheer bygone bliss you won’t be disappointed
N. H.
Beautiful place, the staff are great, very relaxing, chilled, I recommend anyone to go there for afternoon, high tea, its really a very lovely experience & none of the snootyness at all that some places hold.
S. M.
Great afternoon tea, made to feel relaxed and comfortable by everyone
E. N.
My mum and I went to Savoy for a few drinks for her birthday. I have to say the service by all the staff we encountered was excellent, so warm and welcoming. Especially Dimitri in the bar area, he accommodated us last minute and also surprised her with a birthday cake and Happy Birthday song from the live musicians. It really was special and made our night. We’ll definitely come back.
N. T. T.
WOW. after thinking coming to the savoy 2 years ago thinking it would be a once in a life time experience, it was so incredible that we. knew we had to do everything we could to be able to come again. Not only was the hotel responsible with covid, with all staff wearing masks and even organising temporary out door seating, but the staff truly made you feel special. An incredible, kind and welcoming concierge called Raheem gave my art loving mother a tour of the room monet room after she said she loved the hotels stunning art. The staff truly made us feel incredibly special and at home, I honestly have never spoke to kinder and more polite people in my life. I cannot thank everyone at The Savoy enough for making us feel so at home, comfortable and happy.
D. C.
Cocktail lounge was wicked. Pricey but its the savoy. Only live once
M. D.
What can I say. Fantastic food and the American Bar. Wow
A. B.
Attention to detail was second to none! Wonderful experience!
O. B.
Perfect date night spot! Solas is The Savoy’s new pop up experience which does not disappoint. Seafood, music, cocktails and friendly staff who will happily provide detailed advice about their menu and drinks. Personally I love this approach and when coupled with their fantastic decor, it made for a very fun and romantic evening.

Fabulous afternoon tea and wedding at the savoy!

Our mini black panther loved it as you can see😉 pet friendly great staff and service 5☆
J. M. L. F.
Because we weren't staying there, we had just visited the Savoy Theatre to watch 9 to 5 and just finished posing with the posh car outside and took some pictures outside the hotel as this was Xmas Time Dec 2019, we noticed people go inside the foyer taking pictures so we asked the footman if we were allowed to go in and he said yes we can. We had a blast taking pictures and seeing a small part of how the "other" half live!
C. C.
What an incredible hotel, such a welcoming and thoughtful team. We will be going back.
J. B.
Amazing place and amazing ambiance - bucket list experience!
A. R.

Lovely relaxing evening and entertainment at The Savoy Hotel for my Birthday.
So much variety of cakes and finger sandwiches. The waitresses were very attentive to our needs.
Z. P.
I haven't stayed in a room here but as a restaurant and bar, the Savoy is a good as it is great for dinner or just a drink especially due to its location. Live music is usually available. The atmosphere is quite grand and very old school British with most guests dining dressed formally or in business attire. The venue is also large enough that it doesn't get too loud to have comfortable conversation so I would highly recommend as a good date spot. Table service was prompt. Keep in mind that drinks are priced at a small premium (c. 15%) to other places in the area but I think this is worth it given the atmosphere and level of service offered.
G. W.
You have to experience the Savoy. The food is incredible
M. P.
Absolutely fantastic!, service without fault, the food was superb and I even got a birthday cake!not exactly cheap but as with so many things,it was well worth it!
N. B.
World Class Service, staff really nice and down to earth. Thank you folks
S. W.
We had an amazing time. The service was superb. Our room was massive, so beautiful & we had a great river view. We can't wait to go back. We highly recommend The Savoy. XXXX

Terrific night, excellent food and super staff.

We had an incredible week long stay here! Beautiful & romantic hotel! Service was impeccable - from the front reception, to the wonderful doormen ( especially Dancy!), snd the concierge. The location itself is prime by restaurants, coffee shops, river, Trafalgar circle, covenant gardens & theatres. The spa was beautiful & serene as well. We have stayed at many 5 star hotels in the past & this one is at the very top for us!! Thank you to the entire team for making our experience memorable!
D. W.
Words cannot again give the staff enough praise simply outstanding in every facet.
S. S.

We took my mum to celebrate her birthday for a festive afternoon high tea at the Thames Foyer, Savoy.
It was a terrific experience, the amused bouche was out of this world. The array of delicate exotic sandwiches were superb including the charcoal bread - very unusual. You could tell everything was freshly prepared to order.
But what topped that was the bountiful supply of succulent cakes and scones. The scones were cooked to perfection as we cut through them there was no crumbling, and they were warm and moist.
We loved the whole experience, there as a pianist playing Christmas songs on the piano underneath an indoor grandstand draped in a beautiful festive flora display and twinkling lights. The pianist played as a special request the 'Phantom of the opera' for mum. As it was my mum's birthday she played happy birthday when our hostess presented a surprise birthday cake and guests and staff all clapped. After being in lockdown this made it a lovely treat for Mum.
My other half thought the atmosphere was absolutely amazing and was how warm and welcoming all the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble including endless supply and topping up of our tea - we won't need any more tea for a few days.
Clara was our hostess, she represented the Savoy extremely well and professionally. She was attentive, kind and very engaging. We could have talked to her for ages. Her knowledge regarding all the different cakes and sandwiches was excellent and she was very lyrical in describing in perfect detail the mouthwatering flavours and composition of our afternoon tea. This made it hard to choose what to have first. Clara was the perfect ambassador for the Savoy and really made our time there perfect. Other Savoy colleagues were great too and very engaging.
Such as good time did we have, we struggled to drag my Mum away and not have one more cup of tea - she's such a Misses Doyle!
We will be back for sure....

Fashionable London Hotel, on The Strand.
Savoy Grill is excellent
T. M.
Great comfortably theatre with excellent views. Only downside is the drinks were rediculas prices £12 for a glass of wine

K. L.
Absolute Class. Excellent Service Excellent Food.
J. L.
The staff helped us make our first afternoon tea experience more relaxed and enjoyable.
It would be helpful if they would ask at the beginning if it was your first time so they could explain the process.
All of the food and tea was excellent. Our hosts were so friendly. The music and Christmas decorations added to the ambience.
D. L. S.
Went to the theatre but had nice laugh with the savoy staff at the savoy entrance.
C. S.
Made to feel very special, food was fabulous and the staff couldn't be more friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The whole experience was one I will cherish always

Posh but relaxed friendly atmosphere .Good food in the grill restaurant with friendly amusing food and wine waiters .
Great cocktails in the American bar .
Full of history of the stars of the past who've stayed.
Beautiful flowers and a lovely informative warm friendly lady in Boodles jewelers inside the Savoy who knew we were just browsing but took the time to explain and chat about the pieces and even got a pendant (£32,000) out of the case so we could see close up .
A great birthday treat at the Savoy and a lifetime memory .
D. G.
A quintessential national institution. The quality of service is just what one can wish for. Beautifully restored with stylish enterior, makes every visit a delight. Many thanks to Francisca and her welcoming hosting.

Fabulous time spent sipping cocktails in the American bar. What a wonderful building so beautiful, especially at Christmas. Residence piano player brilliant in setting the ambiance of the venue. Service, as you would imagine is first class. We'll worth a visit!
j. h.
Beautiful hotel, I would definately recommend a stay. The staff are extremely friendly and always very helpful. The surroundings are stunning and to a high quality. The bars and restaurants had that relaxing vibe and the food was very good indeed, I specially like the tea shop where you can have teas and cakes. the pool and spa areas are definitely worth a visit, the ambience is very relaxing. I will be back!
S. A.
Enjoyed the night out with friends and the cocktail menu was really interesting, fairy tale theme. Good overall service!
W. S.
Great place for High Tea. Fabulous service. True decadence.
S. L.
Had an absolute amazing experience here having Cream Tea, Staff were just great just brilliant loved it ❤
S. S.
Was suprised with an afternoon tea reservation by my partner at the Savoy this afternoon. It was my first ever in London and what a wonderful place to have this experience! We were warmly welcomed-the ambience was wonderful with a delightful floral decoration in the foyer. The sandwiches were light, sumptious and flavourful. We opted for the afternoon tea as opposed to the high tea, which was frankly the better option. The coronation chicken was especially delicious. The cakes were moist and creamy. The pianist provided a delightful ambience of contemporary and pop music. It was a wonderful experience overall
D. 8.
Amazing hotel to visit - the interior is beautiful. All the bars and restaurants are beautiful, cocktails and food can not be faulted. The tasting menu in the Savoy Grill was great (we had been bought a voucher). Only loses stars because we had a long wait (45 mins) before our table was ready, we had already treated ourselves to cocktails in bar and finished them to make sure we weren’t late for our booking, to be kept waiting. Bit disappointing as we had been there over an hour before sitting down for dinner - eventually we were seated and offered a drink for the inconvenience. We were also left a fair while between courses and had to ask politely as staff were clearing away - both times once the staff realised they were very polite, but just not what we expected for the price and reputation unfortunately.
R. M. F.
Beautiful!!!! Great experience just being there! Professional, friendly, efficient staff. Impressive venue!
K. H.
Absolutely lovely hotel, great dining and the staff cannot so enough for you.
My wife and I love it at the Savoy and look forward to coming again in the future.
S. M.
We had a lovely day there. A special afternoon tea for my daughters birthday.
J. S.
As expected, the Savoy grill was superb. The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive without being intrusive. They were helpful and friendly, and very knowledgeable about what they were serving.
The surroundings are comfortable without being intimidating. The dining room was full, but there was plenty of space between tables so we still had our privacy. The food was very well prepared and tasty, but was not spectacular.
Altogether a very enjoyable experience. The bill made a serious attack on the bank account, mainly because we entered into the Christmas spirit this year.

My wife & I just returned to New York City after our 10-night stay at Hotel The Savoy of London. The Savoy location could not be better for us since we wanted to attend some performances at the Royal Opera House that was within a walking distance.
Beautiful, elegant, & cozy are just a few words to describe this hotel. Amazing staff!!!
First, a few men in top hats in front of the hotel, not just assisting with a car-service, but also giving advice how to travel around the city. Thank you very much indeed!
Second, the concierge & reception desk staff offering an assistance & sincerely willing to help. Elena & Elodie were very knowledgeable, professional, & instrumental trying to accommodate all our needs. Thank you for being so patient & wonderful.
Finally, numerous restaurants at the hotel were offering a great quality & variety of food for the most sophisticated palate. We just wanted to thank the management & wait staff at The Thames Foyer & Kaspar's Restaurants especially, Maria, Frederika (spelling???), Altea, Nick, Tan, & Paria. Sorry, we did not remember many names or did not know correct spelling of many other names. We would like to express our gratitude to Maria & Frederika for making our daily breakfast experience & my wife's birthday celebration unforgettable. They made us feel like being at home & being surrounded by friends. Special thanks to Tan & her team for taking care of our daily breakfast & making it even more fun, delicious, & memorable.
K. I.
Great location and really good customer service
J. D.
Attended a corporate luncheon on behalf of my employer which was held in the D'Oyly Carte room (with its nostalgic bullet hole in one of its windows). Excellent food, service and ambience as you'd expect in a hotel and restaurant of this standing and reputation. Afterwards I had an enjoyable wander about the hotel to soak up the atmosphere before heading off for my train back home. In the Savoy Museum outside our dining room, I loved looking at the photos on the walls of the by-gone movie starts that have stayed there over the years. Would I visit again? Absoulutely, but like this time and given my available funds, someone else will have to pick up the bill!
D. W.
Again no dress code. Next time I go I'll wear jeans like most of the other guests
C. A.
Fabulous Food and Superb Service.
D. S.
I won free drinks at the Savoy in the American bar. The service was wonderful!! The waitors were extremely friendly and happy to answer questions and give advice. We stayed for more than 2 hours and they kept bringing little nibbles the entire time!! When it came to get the bill, everything had been taken care of and we didn't need to pay a thing - woohoo!! We had a lovely afternoon!!
K. M.
Very beautiful hotel the staff were good & service was excellent we would like to recomed to anyone for afternoon high tea
B. A.
This place has good food. The steaks were really good. The garlic mushrooms were really nice as well. Overall the food was good and they were very accommodating for the kids. We had gone for lunch on Sunday. The only problem I really had was charging us for the came we brought, considering we also had dessert I thought that should have been not charged. Service was overall very good. Definitely recommend it for the steaks.
P. G.
Obviously first class. Love this place. Look forward to going again. X
D. M.
We had drinks at the American Bar, it was amazing.
Johnny the pianist performed a song at our request, which was really nice.
Giannis, Jason and Brianna treated us like royalty the whole time we were there, and the drinks were awesome.
I would recommend this place to my family and friends.
A. G.
An amazing experience between arts and luxury. Rooms are large and very comfortable. The personnel is awesome and every time available. The bar and restaurants are well refurbished, you can find almost everything. The breakfast is astounding. My 2 nights stay was a great experience. Well done. Thank you.
T. B.
Wonderful experience. Hotel and staff were amazing.

Thank you Thames Foyer staff at The Savoy for making my brand new fiancé's day extra special! From the chap at the rear entrance helping us out when our driver dropped us off at the wrong spot (which actually was a bonus as he gave us a sneaky tour!). To all the attentive folk in the Foyer, including the unseen chefs, we will definitely return and recommend to all our friends. 😃

Lovely hotel. Staff are helpful and friendly. Our room was great with a good view. We had been updated.

Good but need to enforce your covid restrictions
J. A.
What a great experience we had! The staff super nice and helpful. As we were talking to one of the staff there, he did ask the reason of outlet visit ( friend’s birthday) next thing I know the guy brought us a small cake and a candle singing Happy Birthday. The cocktails were seriously good.
M. M.
Thank you Natasha! Brilliant service at the Foyer.
M. M.
Had a private event and the service staff were wonderful and assisted with any and all needs. Our private mixologist was superb and created delightful non alcoholic cocktails for our guests. Beautiful red wine selection.

Afternoon Tea at The Savoy is a must in London. This is one of the finest, sophisticated locations for afternoon tea.
The history, the decor, it’s all here. The food was delightful. The staff was attentive and extremely friendly. The tea and the champagne were flowingly delicious.
If you’re going to do tea, do it right, and come to Savoy.
S. *.
What a brilliant experience from the moment we walked into the hotel. We were seated at a cosy, private table away from the entertainment overlooking the Thames. A dozen of the well recommended Irish Oysters were ordered promptly along with a Pimms Cup whilst we perused the menu. Best of the Seas consisted of oysters, scallops, king crab and prawns, crab and caviar served in a dish with a delectable crabmeat at the bottom and caviar levelled on top. It was simply luscious. Kaspar’s Asiette of Seafood which included Octopus carpaccio, Hamachi crudo, some of the elements were unidentifiable but we ate the delicious, well presented food all the same as most of the assiette was either sashimi’d, ceviche’d or smoked pate’d.
The service is attentive but not intrusive. Really good customer service, the servers just know when to come to the table to refill our drinks.
The signature Dream Girls cocktail was a little too sweet and sickly for my liking but for that price, I quaffed it with much gusto.
After, we decided to head for the American Bar, it was buzzing with people having drinks before, post or no dinner. I ordered a cocktail from the Savoy Songbook and chose the Sun Sun Sun. A nice enough cocktail but sadly, no classics to choose from. The server spilt my cocktail on his tray and returned with another one after another long wait. I was spitting feathers by now…. However, a pleasant advantage of, “It’s on the house!” saved me £20 on the drink!
J. H.
The Savoy is a historic luxury hotel with all the modern conveniences. Fantastic service, great hotel in a beautiful location with lots of history. Clean and individually designed rooms. Very friendly and accommodating staff who cares. As always, I Really enjoyed my stay.

On Saturday 3rd August my husband and I had a wonderful birthday celebration of afternoon tea. The food and service were unquestionably of the highest order. The greatest surprise though was the unexpected "happy birthday" moment! Followed by a plate with two cakes with lit candles and a card each! The cards being hand written was a very nice touch. This was our second visit to the Savoy and we were not disappointed. Thankyou to all the staff and not forgetting the pianist for a lovely elegant afternoon. We will come again!
O. M.
Elodie and all other staff are amazing. Made my birthday fabulous. Catered to our needs in everyway. We had breakfast overlooking the Thames...beautiful crisp morning for tea with the most moist chocolatey cookies and sandwiches. Elegant and old world architecture.
We had eggs and bagels and did not have a long wait at all.
P. S.
Another wonderful lunch just the best can't wait to go again
L. M.
Stunning foyer. Excellent location. Warm welcome. Excellent greeting and check in process. Drinks prices astronomical but ambience in the bar almost worth it! Room nice enough but not really special. Our safe didn't work and had to be replaced. We had 3 or 4 power cuts in the night and our water supply failed so couldn't brush our teeth or wash. Our milk wasn't replenished so we had to wait for our morning cuppa. Trivial things if you're paying less than £200 per night but extremely disappointing when paying £600+ per night. We won't be rushing back.
J. C.
Outstanding bar. I liked the degree of attention put in the cocktail menu, with the "wave" guide explaining which cocktail to chose based on taste preferences. The coktails have nice names, all matched to a celebrity with a cool picture of said celebrity. The photo theme is completed with the coasters that are big frames with a camera diaphragm inside. Quite cool.
The gin selection is great. The atmosphere is amazing, and there was a live pianist singing modern songs but with a jazzy time to it. I highly recommend and will go there again.
M. M.
My husband had an absolutely incredible experience at The Savoy for afternoon tea! The service was simply spectacular. The afternoon began with our gracious host, Maria, greeting us and seating us at our table, which was perfect. For our afternoon tea service, we had the pleasure of working with Veronica and Valeria. Both of these ladies were very knowledgeable about teas, tradition, and made excellent recommendations. We tried the traditional afternoon tea from The Savoy which was marvelous, as were the sandwiches and sweets! The Savoy even provided us with a celebratory dessert for our special occasion! We honestly cannot recommend The Savoy enough for their afternoon tea service. It was elegant, the staff members were extremely attentive, and the selection of teas and treats were endless! We cannot wait to patronize The Savoy again during our next visit to London. A very special thank you to Veronica, Valeria, and Enzo!
N. F.
Afternoon tea, a v nice way to spend a couple of hours
P. I.
From first arriving to the minute you leave, the staff will make sure your every need is taken care of. Just walking through the doors of the Savoy will take your breath, as you are engulfed in luxury. Be sure to make it know on your booking if it is a special occasion as they will go that extra mile to make it worth it. No question is to much for the staff as they are only too happy pass on there knowledge. This hotel is worth every penny and more.
Many thanks to all the staff for making my fiances stay extra special
A. K.
Wow wow
Filey recommend afternoon tea
V. M.
S. B.
Best afternoon tea I ever had in my life. The food itself is exquisite and is offered in copious amounts. There are four courses: scones and jam, tea sandwiches, mignardises, and the cake cart! Our server was wearing a tailcoat and was very attentive to our needs. When she learned we were on our honeymoon, she brought out a plate with a dessert and a sparkler on which the chef had written "congratulations" in chocolate. The service is five stars, the venue is classy and posh and the bathrooms look like a mini museum. They are cleaned after each visit and an attendant is available to spritz you in eau de toilette or smother your hands in lotion. Book in advance because it fills quickly. Also a bit pricey but worth the experience.
R. B.
Came here for afternoon tea for a friends birthday. It was a lovely experience the staff are so helpful and polite. They gave my friend a little happy birthday cake whilst playing happy birthday on the piano. Theres a coat check and bathroom before you enter the foyer so u can change if coming from sightseeing london.
T. B.
I was treated to lunch which was beautifully cooked salmon. It was preceded by garlic bread and hummus and/or cheese. I enjoyed sparkling water while my companion enjoyed a glass of white wine. I didn't see the bill but it was a wonderful opportunity to catch up with a family member I hadn't seen for more than 20 years. We were left undisturbed, apart from the occasion enquiry from the waiter, from 1.30 till 4.30 in a quiet and convivial environment. A wonderful and memorable afternoon.
m. b.
Recently visited the Savoy grill and had the greatest time, it was for my wifes birthday to which the staff bought out a beautifully written birthday message and cake for her,
The food was just outstanding, my wife had the duck and I the Wellington which were both cooked to perfection, staff take wine pairing very seriously and their choice was on point.
All in all the staff, food and ambience were perfect I highly recommend this fantastic place.
B. G.
We went to the Savoy on Saturday with our children and grandchildren to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. We had afternoon tea.
It was everything we hope for and more. They Hotel is beautiful. The staff excellent, nothing to much trouble The food excellent the pianist exccelent I don’t mind the cost unfornatley my only gripe is the 12 and % Service charge in my case almost £100 I would rather them have this in the price. This did not stop us having a really wonderful time and I would certainly recomend it and go again
N. B.
Amazing hotel, the staff make it so. Love staying here.
J. H.
Really great venue for drinks and live music. That evening, they had a great jazzy singer in the American Bar who performed beautifully. The drinks and service were excellent as well. We would come back! :)
A. G.
One of my favourite places to stay in London: classic, amazing service and stuff. Moreover, the restaurant is a must to check out in London. Rooms are clean and well-decorated. Bathrooms are big enough and provide all necessary utilities (plus bath salt, which is always great). The spa of the hotel is small but has everything necessary and the gym is well-equipped. Ballrooms are perfect for meetings.

This historic venue never fails to impress. Whether you want to stay in luxurious rooms or take advantage of the sumptuous food on offer The Savoy offers nothing but the best.
The American Bar has always had some of the best bartenders in London and their ability to come up with new drinks is impressive. However, it is the catering staff for large dinners who have got to take the plaudits for the ability to have 400+ person dinners running like clockwork and for the food for everyone to be as good as the first is outstanding.

Came here for afternoon tea and it was the best I’ve ever had. Gorgeous range of sandwiches (refilled), the most beautiful pastries, and soft warm scones. Service is impeccable, and they’ll let you take home any pastries you can’t finish in a lovely bag. I’ve had many afternoon teas in London but think this is the best.

Definitely a beautiful and high class location for a luxurious stay and dinner. Beautifully decorated with flowers and expensive marble. It is truly a sight for sore eyes. People who are looking for an ultimate spoiled get away this is your location. In the evening they have a live band play in the foyer of the bar. The restaurant itself is delicious.

A favourite London hotel that really understands that service is everything and looking particularly pretty at Christmas. I love the variety of options for drinking and dining. Always an opulent treat, irrespective of how long you spend here. Cute shopping options and the afternoon tea is a real treat.

We went for afternoon tea with the family. Under 12s have a “Tiger who came to tea” tea while the adults have a high tea. Was our 1year olds birthday and they made us all feel so special, it was a truly fantastic and memorable experience. The kids got a special Tiger who came to tea book, a tiger head band and a photo to take home. The service was impeccable as you would expect from the Savoy. The portions were decidability big and while I thought I’d polish it off and be hungry, we ended up having to take 2 takeaway boxes home. They offered more sandwiches if you wished which I found hard to say no to but worth holding back for the scones and cakes. All in all I would definitely recommend and hope the theme continues long enough for us to come back again.

I want to start by personally thanking the staff and crew of the restaurant. The welcoming was hole hearted to me and my friends from entrance to our exit from the experience. The food fenominal and the service given to us was beyond real in one of Londons oldest and finest hotel restaurants.

Exquisite atmosphere and service, but lacked a certain ingenuity.
I went for an Afternoon Tea event at the Savoy recently so have no knowledge of the hotel amenities and room quality. This is strictly speaking on their Afternoon Tea service.
Pros: The decor is beautiful, with polished marble floors and chandeliers. Being greeted by suited porters is a lovely touch and the atmosphere is both luxurious and peaceful. I did enjoy all the flower arrangements in the hotel. The waiters were all wearing gloves and were very attentive to our needs. When asked for special dietary requirements we were given alternatives to our orders. The desert plates looked divine and the presentation was well done. The violinists played both modern and film track adaptations that were quite different. The bathrooms were clean and tidy.
Cons: The tea menu was vegetarian, as per the event specifications but I felt like it was made by a chef who does not understand vegetarian food. All the sandwiches were meat versions without the meat (a cream cheese and cheddar sandwich leaves little to be desired). I found that quite dull as vegetarian sandwiches can be amazing, there were no aubergines, tomatoes, chickpeas, tofu or halloumi, literally anything of substance in the sandwiches. Also I did not like that they only served Earl Grey as this is not really my favourite type of tea and I'd have appreciated a selection. It was luke warm at best and I prefer a hot tea. These are all small details that I believe could have made the tea experience even more pleasurable.
Summary: Go for the atmosphere, not the food. I was not very hungry so I did not mind as much.

This is a must for anyone who likes an afternoon Tea! Teatime is very serious and their tea room is stunning! You will feel like royalty just gazing around.
Then if your preference is a refreshing afternoon cocktail, one of the classiest American Bar cocktails should wet your whistle.
And if your truely blessed to stay here, enjoy the pampering they give their guests 120% attention. Finest of the fine. ☆☆☆☆☆

Came to London to see Harry Potter and decided to splurge a little. From arriving at the hotel to having drinks at the American Bar, breakfast and dinner at Kaspers, room check out, the experiences were awesome. All the staff were extremely professional and friendly. They made us feel as if we were the only ones there - total attention to details and made sure they met all our expectations and needs. Our room was very spacious and had two beds. It has a safe, refrigerator, Nespresso coffee maker and pods, tea kettle to make tea and tea bags of course. They also provide slippers, bathrobes, shoe shines and laundry service. The toiletries were very nice with bath salts, shampoos, conditioners and lotions. If you want to dine in the Savoy Grill by Gordon Ramsey or the Simpsons, make sure you make the reservation upon your arrival since they are extremely popular and fill up fast. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return to this hotel next time we are in London.

I must say, this is one of the best hotels in the whole world. Staff are so attentive and caring, rooms are nice, decor is classic... I was first assigned to a room next to the pantry and the lift, which I asked to the receiptionist if I could move to a quieter room. He took care of it immidiately and even showed me the room in person, and then arranged to move my luggage right away. I never expected to have this kind of top hospitality! Loved their amenities (Penharigons shampoo, conditioner and shower gel AND Le Labo bath salt!!!) too. Amazing service, amazing staff. I'll say it's more than five stars.

The food and drink was fabulous, the service was excellent and the surroundings were very festive.
However it was more expensive than other afternoon teas of other top London hotels as the service charge was extra.
A little disappointed in the mens cloakroom as it was was not as fresh as it should have been even though there was an attendant on duty.

Amazing , surprise afternoon tea for my nan 90th and staff all took part to help . Can't say a bigger thank you. Outstanding.

Always a pleasure to see that the bar and the private dining rooms keep calm and carry on. Welcoming your guests to a professional diner is a very appreciated experience, dining rooms seem to be coming directly from a chapter of Pride and Prejudice, a particular attention is paid to food presentation and sterling service.

Everyone needs to dine here at least once in there lives. I had a beautiful meal with my best friend and we were so pleased with everything after finishing. The food is incredible and the service is so great you might just want to double tip. The setting is fabulous and glamorous and fit for a princess. I highly recommend if you can afford it. Alternatively there's a set menu deal available.

Extravagant dining in an extravagantly decorated restaurant. Service was excellent - professional, attentive, and friendly. The menu, for Valentine's, was a number of courses; the Oyster Tempura as amuse-bouche was crunchy and tasty, plated on stone and rose petals it was a fun way to start. The champagne sorbet sparkled in your mouth; lovely. Overall a very good experience.

We had dinner at the Savoy for a special family occasion and again we were not disappointed. From the ease of the booking and the warm welcome we knew that our second visit was going to be very much as our first. Friendly, informal staff who were attentive and not intrusive, nothing was too much trouble and the food was excellent.

This is the best meal we had on our entire 2 weeks trip to Europe. Worth every single penny and dime we spent. Great service. Amazing ribeye and beef wellington. It will ruin you because you won't be able to find anything as amazing as this place. No idea what sorcery they are using but the meat just melts in your mouth. Must visit when in London.

Brought my daughter to the Thames Foyer for afternoon tea, couldn’t rate this highly enough! Perfect experience in every way, from the friendly doorman, right through to the elegant surroundings, fabulous pianist, delectable sandwiches, cakes and pastries, perfectly chilled champagne, amazing selection of teas. I could go on! Particular mention to our lovely young lady who attended to our every need at out table, it being my daughters birthday, the special touches they provided were extremely thoughtful. Would return again. Utterly amazing experience.

You simply can’t go wrong at the Savoy. It’s such a sumptuous experience. I personally love the Beaufort Bar, and always have a very good Irish coffee. Staff are always so nice .

Had the very fortunate opportunity to stay at one of the world's most iconic hotels this weekend, The Savoy. From start to finish, every member of staff was warm, welcoming and professional. The lovely Marta checked us in and showed us to our room on the 5th floor, the view of the River Thames simply took my breath away. The room itself was beautifully furnished and spotless. To our surprise, the hotel had very kindly left a plush black cat toy called Kaspar on our son's bed, look up the story of The Savoy Cat Kaspar, it's fascinating and Kaspar hasn't left my son's side since! As it was mine and my sister in law's birthdays, we ate in the D'Oyly Carte Room, the food from the Savoy Grill was amazing. Alex and his colleague, so sorry I can't remember his name, catered for our every need, were so attentive without being intrusive. They surprised the pair of us with a candlelit birthday cake. We had gorgeous cocktails in the American Bar and Thames Foyer, where the staff were wonderful and in particular, the chap serving in the American Bar was so friendly and informative, especially when we couldn't decide on what cocktail to have! Valentin in the Thames Foyer surprised us with another Birthday cake! After a lovely night's sleep in a gorgeous bed, we had breakfast in Kaspars. Rosaline served our table, what a truly remarkable lady! Professional, conscientious, warm, friendly, what a credit to The Savoy she is. I apologise that this review is rather lengthy but we were all completely blown away by our stay and we want to shout about it! We can't thank you all enough for making our stay one of the most special and memorable, we felt really spoilt. The Savoy will definitely be staying with us.

This was a serious experience. If you enjoy being fully taken care of then you must come here for the tea service. The food was quite yummy (finger sandwiches and various cakes) along with delicious teas and even champagne for those in the mood. It's quite costly and you get what you pay for. The staff is beyond attentive and really seem to care about their clientele.

What a wonderful building to get to visit . Arguably one of the grand old hotels of the world and a palace of Deco design and fit. Staff helpful and friendly and the ballrooms have an amazing collection of photos if ditingushed guests who have visited over the decades . Food was great facilities and service effortless. Hiws across the river so earful both at day and at night. The Savoy did not fail to deliver.

I don't have enough words to describe the whole experience. I used to work in one of the best luxury hotel in Spain. Well, I've waited 9 month to go to the Savoy Hotel, because I wanted to make the best of the visit. Everything is 5 stars here, starting for the hall, how the friendly hostess is welcoming everyone, the decoration, the ambience, all the stuff being professional, well groomed, the toilet service awesome as well. And my favourite the American Bar, it is something that you need to live at least once, sitting at that bar is a mistic experience where you feel like an artist or an aristocrat. The service coming from the hostess, waiters, barbacks and bartenders is outstanding. I ordered an Espresso Martini with Bourbon, it was gorgeous. After that I had an interesting talk with Ferdia Murray about sherry wines. He made a delicious Old Fashioned for me. This guy have something special that exudes love and passion for his job, such a great career is waiting for you in the future, great job and thank you for making my experience even better when I already had the best raiting in my head. Very recommended place!

Superb. Service excellent from the moment you arrive to the minute you leave. Very comfortable room and bed, black and white tiled bathroom. Lots of towels and linen perfectly clean. The hotel retains some of its art deco past with modern elements. Take cocktails in the American Bar with its photos of the stars who have stayed at the hotel. Dined in Kaspers... Smoked salmon followed by a succulent ribeye steak. Swam in the pool and sit in the sauna... Divine.

Great place to stay in London. It is close to Covent garden and many other attractions. You can walk to many theaters from the hotel and have many close tube statons. The service is amazing and everyone is looking to make your stay better. The restaurants are great, specially the high tea in the afternoon. For a family is a really welcoming place to stay. A really great experience in London. Will come back for sure.

Treated my wife to afternoon tea, the Savoy didn't disappoint serving up quality sandwiches and cakes along with quality tea. Staff were attentive without being obtrusive. Atmosphere was relaxed with an excellent pianist adding to the ambiance. Worth every penny.

I can't say enough about this hotel -- the staff is amazing, the facilities first rate, the location is just perfect. If you are looking to be pampered and dotted on, this is the place. The American Bar is the perfect place for a night cap, high tea is fantastic, and the Savoy Grill is outstanding. Best experience I've had in a long, long time. I highly recommend this hotel!Nice

5⭐ Check-in - very different and we felt like VIPs, the receptionist gave us a grand tour of the floors before leading us to our room where our suitcases were already in our room
5⭐ Cleanliness - unbelievely clean and well maintained
5⭐ Room - large, spacious and extremely comfortable. They even turn down your beds. Heated towels in the bathroom
5⭐ Service - exceptional, we were treated like VIPs from checking in to checking out, they took care of our suitcases, we didn't have to lift a finger
5⭐ Restaurant - we tried two, both were extremely good. In one of them, we had a cocktail, we didn't like it and our bar person kept changing it until we were happy
Ok, this is a 5⭐ luxury hotel and I've never stayed in one before. For my first experience, this was luxury and I suppose worth every penny and this what is expected of them. If I will the lottery, I would go there again.

Had the most amazing time staying in the Lego Christmas Suite. A truly magical experience that was made even more special by the wonderful staff throughout the hotel. Thank you so much, we will always remember our stay here.

Luxury old school Hotel the way they used to be. Classic in many ways, service immaculate, food very good, don't miss the Bar which is excellent.
Stayed here for a couple of nights took a room with a view over the Thames and it was well worth it. Oh and high tea here is an experience that you will not forget.
