Despite only staying just one night at this hotel. We were greeted in our room with a disgustingly blocked toilet that was nearly over-flowing. However, this was sorted after us having to leave the hotel for 3 hours just after checking in.
On the other hand, the room was lovely and was very decent for the price. We had an amazing view and the hotel was in a great location. The view of the Tower Bridge was outstanding and much better at night.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming!

Amazing hotel! I stayed here for my birthday a couple years ago as we were going to dinner at the shard and this hotel is in a great location! Such a close walking distance to tower bridge. When we arrived we had only booked a standard room and they had upgraded us for free to a room with a tower bridge view. The views from there in the day and night were incredible! The bar downstairs has nice cocktails and they have a nice outdoor area with fire pits. We also added to have breakfast in the morning which was so tasty. We were served a fry up with toast, juice, tea, and coffee and all with a lovely view of tower bridge. The room was lovely too, bed was comfortable, had channels on the tv to watch, and had our own mini fridge with little snacks too. This hotel is so nice I have booked to go back next weekend for my anniversary. Would highly recommend!!

I had the time of my life whilst staying here. I celebrated my 18th birthday here and I can easily say it was the best place to celebrate. The whole week was incredible. Staff were friendly, beds are comfortable and the views were 1000% breathtaking. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. There was only one issue but how can one minor issue ruin a great week and stay. I would 10000% stay again and would highly recommend it to anyone!!

Incredible stay at the tower! Staff went above and beyond. When we checked in at 3 our room wasn’t quite ready so we were escorted to the bar for complimentary drinks and the cocktails were lovely! Our family room was really clean and spacious with stunning views over the marina. We had drinks each evening in XI bar for happy hour and the waiter was superb and really friendly with our children. The breakfast was fantastic every morning. We were really well placed to explore London and it was the perfect base. We felt safe here and there was lots of choice for food each evening at the hotel and the restaurants around St Katherines Docks. We would give it 6 star if we could and will definitely be back :)

Loved the hotel. Amazing view 😍 friendly staff. We had also breakfast at the hotel and everything was just perfect. From the start of our stay in the hotel to very last minute we were treated as special guests and that's how we felt. Amazing experience, we will be back definitely and I can recommend this place with all my heart ❤️

I had made a reservation just to take the photo, being a photography lover and all I had to get the view,
the staff were super nice with providing me with a beautiful room with a view. Be sure to take a lens skirt to help avoid reflection from the window :)
Superb service - the staff want your stay to be as perfect as possible, They are very obliging, helpful and incredibly polite. The room was extremely comfortable. Bed was superb
The view is what we come for, and could spend hours just gazing out of the massive picture windows and the iconic Tower Bridge.
Highly highly recommend this hotel

Location is second to none. Staff are amazing so friendly and helpful? Hotel is bright and spotlessly clean, room had everything you could need and the view of Tower Bridge was spectacular. Breakfast outstanding. Highly recommend and I will very be back.

Great location: River Thames, St Kath Docks,Tower Bridge and Tower of London - All next door!
The Hotel is a concrete eyesore, but inside it's totally different. A quality hotel with welcoming and excellent staff - very professional! Rooms comfortable, room service ( menu on offer) and great views of the Thames etc.
Full English breakfast, fruits, Yogurts, cereals - everything really.
Just come back from 3 nights stay there, liked it so much that I've booked another 3 nights next week! ;))

More a business atmosphere hotel than a holiday hotel and like others have said, it is dated. Staff are polite and helpful and our room with nice views across St Katherine's Dock was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and the noise from neighbours was minimal. Hot breakfast is buffet style served to you by the waiting staff and tea and coffee is served at your table. We arrived for breakfast at the busy time, well advertised in the reception area, and our wait was less than 10 minutes. The hotel is perfectly positioned for all the tourists attractions and public transport in the area and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Love the view from the room which is directly at the Tower Bridge. I can admire it at all times of the day. Overall condition of the hotel is a bit dated, requires some updating. But it is overall still well kept and clean. Beds are soft and comfortable and the room size is adequate for couples. What I don't like about the room was the heater/aircon doesn't seems to work. We had to open the window to sleep otherwise it is a bit stuffy in the room, this is despite it being late Dec period. There is also a constant buzzing sound from the outside (it is irritating, but still endurable). Value for money and still a good stay.

I stayed at The Tower Hotel for one night, as it was a wedding gift for me and my husband. It says it's a 4-star hotel but honestly didn't feel like one.
Although, the view was amazing from our room! We had such a clear view of the Tower Bridge and took loads of pictures. The service needs some improvement. I called room service as there were no menus in the room and no water. I asked for water and the staff was like "I'll try to get you water" sounding a bit unsure. I also called room service for a toothbrush and toothpaste but apparently I dialed the wrong number and the staff didn't even try to help me connect to make it easier for our stay. When our food came, the staff said that when we're done to just leave it on the floor outside of our room. However, the food from the next room was on their floor for over 17 hours.
This stay was a gift from my uncle and he had specifically mentioned to them that whatever we ordered for room service would be directly credited to his account. He had given his card details already, but none of the staff members seemed to be aware of it. So he had to send another email.
When we checked out, there was an issue again of them not knowing of my uncle's email. So they made us wait for about 10 minutes then they returned and said that everything was good.
It was quite unorganized for a 4-star hotel.
We still had a good stay. The lady who helped us check out and the waiter during the breakfast buffet were super nice and kind. & of course the amazing view from the bedroom still made it special despite all the other issues.

We hadn’t been away for a while until we had the opportunity to stay here at Christmas time and it was absolutely perfect! The staff went above and beyond and were very polite, the lady looking after our housekeeping was extremely polite and really helpful and smiley, the room itself was lovely with an incredible view and the restaurant downstairs was fantastic. Over-all amazing stay and will definitely return.

I can't complain about this hotel. Great location next to the tower bridge. We were lucky to have a fantastic view. The room was quiet and clean. Staff all very friendly, helpful and professional. Will stay again

A really nice hotel. The bed was super comfortable and room very clean. A+ for having a view of the iconic tower bridge which was a beautiful bonus. Dining was good also. will recommend.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in February. Whilst the outside of the hotel isnt so aesthetically pleasing, i was very impressed with all internal areas of the hotel including the bar area, toilets and dining areas. We stayed in a standard double room overlooking the river. Room was spacious, very clean and i must have had the best two nights sleep in many years. All in all, for the price paid, i thought this hotel was excellent value for money.

Wonderful view from.my room and the first time I had breakfast in the hotel which was really good. Lots of lovely fresh choices and freshly cooked hot plate. All making a nice short break.

Just back from our little break. Amazing from check in to check out. Staff is so lovely. They provided me with a tower bridge family room at my request. Breakfast was lovely and the atmosphere, location was truly beautiful. All pictures are from my stay. Truly a beautiful hotel. Just to mention the lady at the reception Khadija was really helpful Thank You 😊

Superb service - the staff want your stay to be as perfect as possible, so are very obliging, helpful and incredibly polite. The room is extremely comfortable. Bed is superb - it's superking as opposed to double, and blissfully comfortable. The view is what we come for, and could spend hours just gazing out of the huge picture windows and the iconic Tower Bridge. But equally the view from the other side of the hotel, over the pretty marina is also lovely, and we enjoy that whilst eating in the restaurant. Highly highly recommend this hotel. On top of everything else, it's in a perfect location 👍🏻👍🏻

Our second visit to this hotel. Great location and amazing views over Tower Bridge. Room was clean and had everything needed. Water pressure and temperature was a bit sporadic in the shower but might be due to being on the 10th floor. St Katherine's Quay behind the hotel is lovely to walk around and hotel is only a few minutes from the nearest tube station, although is central enough to be able to walk to a lot of places. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't rate the food.

The location is fantastic for exploring this part of London. My room had an amazing view of the bridge, but not everyone gets this. Great bar with good staff that is open to 1am. The rooms themselves though are quite dated, in particular the old bathrooms. But considering what I paid for the room I thought it was great value, I would definitely stay here again.
R. C.
A nice place with traditional English looks and modern interior. There are few cafes and eating places inside. Also meeting rooms and breakout areas.
Located beside Thames River, stones throw from Tower Bridge, so ideal for tourists or if you want to live in Central London.
When i visited, some building works were going on, so it was bit noisy during day time
d. v.
Great location, room gad a great view although bathroom needs updating. Overall good value for money. The bar served probably the best whisky sour I have ever had. Dickens Inn pub at the Dock is a great old fashioned pub. Well worth a visit
R.
Decent & fairly priced hotel for the location and if your lucky to get a room with a view of the river and tower bridge it's a really cool scene at night and to wake up to. Rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast was good nice variety laid out and very tasty. Perfect location to explore the wonder's of London while not being caught up in the busiest of parts, would definitely stay again for sure
P. J.
Lovely hotel with superb views of tower bridge. Great to sit outside on warmer days or in the bar in the evenings. The hotel is large and staff are friendly, food and drinks are reasonable
R. P.
We really loved our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The hotel is big, clean and has plenty of facilities. Our room was very reasonably priced and had this amazing view of Tower Bridge. The breakfast is lovely and there's a tesco express just around the corner. The hotel is over the road from the tower of london and isn't far from Tower Hill tube station.
S. P.
The view from the room was absolutely beautiful. Big negative is that when I originally entered on day 1 of my stay, I came in to a nice surprise as the toilet was clogged and filthy and wouldn't flush. The room overall was a little dated and nothing special, but does what it needs to do and has what it needs to have. Enjoyed the location and would consider it again just for the view.
K. 1.
Absolutely fantastic!!! I see people say it's dated, this is true but that adds to the experience. Clean and tidy the best views in London! I would say if your in a lower room be careful! Saw lots of bare bums 😅😳
t. e.
I would not give more than 4.
The reception, hotel location, and breakfast are good. The vicinity restaurant is very good too. The room service team are quick prompt not to mention. However, the infrastructure is old and not very modern, this perhaps is because it’s an old hotel now demanding a renovation or perhaps refurb the interiors bit by bit. Considering it has over 1000 rooms this can be daunting and costly affairs.
But ofcourse writing a review is equally important of what it offers.
I was in third floor during my 8 day stay having a twin bed room viewing the tower bridge.
Parking space is available at a cost.
Good and helpful reception and service team.
B.
Our room was big enough for a large bed and a cot for our baby, and it was clean. We had a beautiful view of the dock next to the hotel. The location is perfect for sightseeing and tourism and the price was reasonable. Any of the staff in the hotel we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. I didn't really enjoy the buffet breakfast, but my partner loved it. We would definitely stay here again.

Terrific location just in the shadow of Tower Bridge, and the Tower of London, about a ten minute walk from Tower Hill tube station.. On arrival the friendly check-in staff advised my room was quite small and asked whether I would rather upgrade to a larger room which I declined. The room was fine and the view over the Thames was great. Just what I needed. Everything was great although I couldn't find a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea. However, there was a great coffee house attached to the hotel which helped. All in all a great stay and I would recommend it as a great base for your visit to London.

Just got back after a lovely 3 night stay.
There was a few issues with first room but this was quickly sorted out by the lovely Montserrat on reception. The thoughtful token that was in our next room on our return was very much appreciated. Breakfast was good and well organised. Room was serviced each day.
Would stay again.
Thank you

The stars primarily for the view... It's just too amazing! Other than that it's pretty basic, I must say. The rooms and facilities are just decent enough for any hotel. We had a tower bridge view room. Considering the popularity, I was expecting a bit more. The hotel is quite old and so is the infrastructure. I had to ask for almost everything I needed (nothing was already provided). Things like bath robe, slippers, etc which you would normally expect to be already there - were not. The TV in the room was loaded with some sort of Hotel specific UI, which was utter disappointment. Even the most basic YouTube videos were stuck and the TV kept struggling to play them. The breakfast was also just decent. Nothing too mention worthy. I've had even normal hotels providing way more variety. The room's charging sockets were also not international/universal (which you'd expect from a good hotel). Overall, it was a decent stay here. Impressive location and views!!
Worth a visit - for the mesmerising view.

The hotel was great and staff very welcoming. The room was too a good standard and cleaned evert day.
The only issue we had was with breakfast it took so long to get toast my wife asked for her breakfast to be warmed up, as self service was not in place at the time we visited 14.12.21.
N. M.
Spectacular view of Tower Bridge. Room was clean but looks pretty outdated. Service was not so welcoming, have to wait even after check in time. It took couple of extra calls and more than hour of waiting for room service just to get a pen. And in out of the blue you're troubled with fire alarm going off and confused. Later gets to know it was a mock one with literally no signs of informing the customers. Reception desk just neglected when this acknowledged. Overall the view they got is nothing other than best but definitely need great improvement on service.

Loved the hotel, the view from our room, was the Thames and London Bridge, lovely at night with all the lights on all the buildings. Found the toilet was very small, you have to go low down so you kind of have your knees on your chest. The room was clean, people were nice and friendly, had a wet patch on the floor in the bedroom, it did take around 2 hours to get it sorted out. We got another room, which was next door.
B. G.
Hotel was beautiful, i booked 2 suites, 1 was towerbridge view and the the other was of reastdurants and boats. Both beautiful. Rooms were immaculate and the 'minibar' was included in the price. Came with plenty of water, 2 bags of crisps, 2 small bottles of wine and 2 bottles of beer. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good quality and cooked well. Only down was needing to book reastdurant but that was our fault as we had left it to late! Would definitely stay again.

The view is incomparable. The staff in the lounge is so kind and attentive, and the sparkling water was lovely. The people at the mail desk were kind and helped us get chargers and adapters sorted; they were so lovely.
That being said, there were some issues with my stay. One reason I booked a relatively fancy hotel was that they offered laundry. Turns out that they mean they offer it for an insane added fee. Just to wash the clothes I wore on the airplane would have cost over forty dollars. No thanks.
There was rust and grime on the shower fixtures.
I woke up early and, not wanting to wake my roommate with the kettle in our room, I headed down to the lobby for some tea. Everything was closed and the people at reception told me I would have to wait for the hotel restaurant to open if I wanted a cup of tea. Okay. Waited an hour and then went to the hotel restaurant. They demanded to see my room key first. (How many dressed up people dragging suitcases are trying to sneak into this restaurant?!). Fine. I go back and get my key. When the restaurant finds out I only want tea they tell me I will have to to the lobby for that. I go down to the lobby and explain everything that has happened.
I was so sure they could just find me a tea bag and some hot water…nope. Now I have been sitting in this lobby thirsty for over two hours.
They were not busy down here. If they had even seemed to care a tiny bit or had even pretended to look for a cup of tea I would have left them a good review. Instead they treated me like I was beyond weird for asking a morning cup of tea. IN ENGLAND.

Great hotel just needs a few things done to help it be better . We were allowed to check in early thanks to Angela at the reception. The view from the room was outstanding . All the staff were very friendly . Location was great never been it that part of London before much better than the centre we had nice walks around the marina ant the Thames. 2 things that let it down were the shower in bathroom was not very warm and the door to our room wouldn't lock
D. L.
An average stay. Very fancy downstairs and in the public areas, and no complaints with the breakfast available in the morning. The bed was comfortable, and the room quiet.
The 3 star rating is literally just a reflection of the fact that there was nothing wrong, but nothing 'outstanding'
M. T.
We stayed here Tuesday and Wednesday 22/24th November. One word to describe this is Fabulous. From porters, waitress, chambermaids, concierge. And excellent management staff. It ran like a well oiled machine and was just brilliant, breakfast and dinners were great. The view was to die for and yes we will be back but for longer . Thank you from 2 grateful guests x

Second time I've stayed here. Once for business and once for pleasure. Located right next to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London and St Katherine's Dock with yacht's, restaurants and bars . Both times I had great views of the Thames from my room. Breakfast is good and evening meal ok. All staff were polite and helpful. Conference room for work fine, snacks and refreshments good. My room was comfortable, shower head was way too low for me - man of 5ft 11inch. A bit of paint peel here and there but generally a very comfortable hotel in a great location.
B. S.
Staff very nice.
Our first room was damp with a very wet floor double bed up against wall, expected better to be honest.
Following morning went to see reception and were moved to a much better room, so on the whole happier.
Booked on hotels.com.
I thought we paid over the odds for the first room.
Bar and restaurant very good.
Happy ever after stay.😀👍

Good size room with a fantastic view of the tower bridge and river Thames. Very large spacious bed, very good breakfast. Great location a stone's throw from St Catherine's Dock and the tower of London.

The staff were lovely, the room was spotless. The food was cooked perfectly. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would gladly stay there again.

We just had a fab 3 day stay at this hotel, apart from having to ask to have the carpet cleaned 3 times on arrival before it was done, everything else was fantastic. A very comfortable bed, an excellent large t.v. in the room. Great view of the bridge from our room. Very good quality towels. Staff were so efficient and attentive in the breakfast room. A very pleasant atmosphere throughout the hotel. Food was of an acceptable standard. Thank you very much. We are now back home in Dorset!
M. N.
Beautiful location, staff were welcoming and friendly. Due to a computer system failure they apologised and offered out complimentary drinks to all those waiting at reception.
Located central to train station, or a 40minute walk into central along the Riverside.
Breakfast offered a range of both hot food and cold such as pastries, fruit, yoghurt and cereal. Obviously tea and coffee or fruit juices. If you got to breakfast of a early hour you maybe lucky enough to get a view of St Katherine's Docks.
Bedroom was decent size, it overlooked the riverside and Tower Bridge.
Would definitely stay here again.
H. M.
We booked the Suite, got a room on the 11th Floor (1110) overlooked Tower Bridge and the Shard, amazing view but also very spacious room for the location! Minibar was complimentary so drinks and snacks inside were free and stocked up, room was well maintained and had nice feel and bed mattress was perfect for sleeping, wife and son loved it.
Breakfast was good too, also included in our price, you have the expected continental breakfast options, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, hot breakfast, pastries and bread options, so we had a hearty meal every morning before exploring around London.
I paid for Parking (£25 a day) which was good because Congestion Charges in London in the period 25th Dec to New Year's Day Bank Holiday are off, so it's free to drive around, you may have to pay ULEZ charge if your car is made before 2015, but again my car was completely free to drive around during the period we stayed (1st to 3rd of Jan)
Only slight downside was toiletries did not include toothpaste but there is a 7am-11pm Tesco Metro right next door to the hotel so you can pick up whatever you wish from there if its not included in your room (drinks, snacks, toiletries, etc.)
R. M.
Great room(Tower Bridge view) , excellent value, and lovely hotel with welcoming friendly staff. Breakfast overlooking St Katherine's Dock was unexpected but equally excellent.
W. P.
Twin room booked, took 3 goes to get right room. Lifts not working not fun when you are on 8th floor. Dated and grubby room with wallpaper peeling off and very shabby. Staff in bar area slow and grumpy. Better service in the xi bar.
M. H.
Over night stay in a sleeper room. Room was very clean and bed super comfy. Room is also very spacious and had a nice view of St Katherine docks.
Added bonus was Room was very quiet.
B. A.
+ Central location, very good breakfast, generous room size, easy &fast checkin/out, nice view, short walking distance to restaurants, tower bridge, tube station, Tesco and river sidewalks.
- Relative old furniture
D. D.
A very plush and modern layout to the rooms, lobby, restaurant and fire pits outside with stunning views of Tower Bridge and the River slowly meandering along the Bank. Get a room with a bridge view, at night the city lights are mesmerising. Comfortable beds, clean rooms the only fault I could find is when drawing a bath the water was tinted brown and it felt a little slimy on my skin (the shower was fine though). Staff are terrific, the breakfast was excellent and there is a Starbucks in the lobby.
S. B.
Iconic location between Tower Bridge & St Katharine's Dock so there is a great view from all rooms. Some of the furnishings need a makeover but it was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast buffet with served cooked items. Excellent value for money especially if you can get a deal via a third party booking website.
P. M.
Only stayed 1 night, room furniture very tired and needs updating but decor was fresh. Lifts not working in the morning so was a pain from the 7 floor. Long queue for breakfast and while waiting for toast your food got cold, couldn't get toast first as the food was served to you. But for the price fine for 1 night and handy place to stay to visit London on a budget.
D. T.
A nice hotel and reasonably priced. We had a magnificent view from our room and the breakfast was delicious. I just feel that the rooms need freshening up and in need of redecoration.
A. A.
Absolutely amazing! Our room had the most beautiful view - I could not believe that this place is real. Everything was beautiful, beyond my wildest dreams. The food was delicious and we were super lucky to always get the table near the window which had the most beautiful view. The hotel is super luxurious, my love and I really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Reception at the hotel staff very helpful in particular Jessica who gives her whole heart with her work she is helpful, hardworking just perfect!!! Thank you Jessica thanks to you we had a great stay. All the best! ❤️

Good value for money 💷 helpful, courteous and friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Tired decor, but clean rooms. Great views of the tower bridge 🌉 and London skyline. Obviously great location.
A. L.
Amazing view from room both day and night. Good clean reception area, clean rooms, but that's where it ends. Room was freezing and pillows felt like been stuffed with couple of pieces of cotton wool. It's only the view that's giving it the 3rd star
Z. M.
Amazing.... absolutely amazing. The view was brilliant, the staff were fantastic. The restaurant was fab nothing wrong with our stay and will be coming back xx
J. D.
Really lovely hotel right on the river. We had a river view so could see the whole bridge, definitely worth paying a bit extra for. Concierge were lovely, nothing too much trouble. Only downside was out of the 4 lifts, 2 were out of order which wasn't too bad to walk down 4 floors but a nightmare with cases. Will definitely go back to stay though.
A. K.
Big hotel right at the spot. Lookout for the dolphin statue at the entrance. Nice view of tower bridge. Cafes and restaurant are good. Events happening for corporates.
B. M.
We've stayed here many times over a number of years and it's always been a lovely hotel, and good value for money. Its in a great location so was always our favourite. However, today's visit is our first since before the pandemic and it looks very tired and dated and in need of an upgrade in reception and in the rooms. There's an open bar of soap left on the bath, and a couple of long black hairs on the bed, which wasn't great to find. Did make me wonder about their covid cleaning standards.Disappointing, but still a great location and lovely breakfast.
K. N.
Book a bridge view room.
Absolutely stunning.
Lovely hotel in a great location, you won't be disappointed.

A very big thank you to Angela the receptionist. (Professional and courteous ). Made our stay all the more enjoyable. Breakfast very good. Recommend this hotel
R. P.
Nice hotel, great views and service but the hotel is now in need of investment. Broken AC left our room freezing over night. Everything in the bathroom worked fine but clear to see its worn down, wooden paneling chipping away, etc. Nice hotel overall but needs a bit of TLC.
J. Y.
It looks a bit menacing from the outside but it is lovely within. Staff were really helpful and nice and the room was nicely decorated, it's big and clean with a magnificent view! Would definitely stay again.
A. J.
Gave us a free upgrade as it was my birthday. Staff was very nice. The rooms was clean however there was marks on the mirrors and the windows had hand prints. But overall the day was amazing and the beds were super comfortable. I finally saw the tower bridge open for the first time from my room.

Excellent location 😍
Sitting environment is just amazing, specially the outdoor seating area,
Enjoyed our three course dinner here with Tower Bridge view.

Quite difficult to find so look for Goulmans building. Great room we upgraded to the room with a view and we were very happy with it.
The customer service is great, we had some issues in the beginning but nothing to crazy so we extended our stay.
The resturant inside is great for a hotel restaurant and good for a normal one.
Beautiful view, great servers and pretty good food.
The only issue I have with the resturant is I want my tip to tip my server not the whole hotel and I feel that should be changed.
Other than that the whole hotel is great.
I'll be coming back and I WILL be recommending to friends.
P. M.
It was awesome with fantastic location, amazing views of the bridge, The Shard, The Tower etc. Very reasonable rates with breakfast..would definitely stay there again 😊🇬🇧👏😍

Hotel was absolutely great. Staff and accommodation were very good. Stayed at a few hotels since lockdown and have been very disappointed with cleanliness . The staff at this hotel were on top of everything, as soon as someone moved from there table it was cleaned in seconds. Room was nice and clean and anything I needed was sorted by staff in minutes. Thank you for a great weekend and I will definitely be back.
P. H.
Very helpful staff, good room we paid little extra to get view of the bridge, spot on for what we were after. Tescos just round the corner fir bits and bobs. Couple of eateries tied onto hotel.
Good place to set as your base to visit the sights for a long weekend etc.
Breakfast filled us up fine.
Added day and night pic from our room

I stayed in the Tower Hotel at the beginning of July and again August. I was upgraded to an Executive room the second time I visited and I had the most wonderful experience. The view from the window was amazing, it overlooked the tower bridge and at night it was simply beautiful. The room and bathroom were very clean and adequately equipped with refreshments, including a bottle of Prosecco, and toiletries. The bed was very large and comfortable. At one point I called the reception desk for help with the thermostat, as I was feeling a little cold, the staff on duty, asked if he could send up an electric heater to warm up the room, this was most helpful. The hotel offers a fantastic breakfast buffet and the staff are always a delight. I will definitely be visiting again.
R. M.
In general, I rate this hotel as very good but it requires a bit more specific attention to guests' needs in the rooms as it should be properly allocated for peace of mind at the guest's first glance. I remarkably thank a lady# KHADIGIA at reception who has been very humble, well deserve, and helpful with authentic communication that we felt satisfying with the atmosphere of The Tower Hotel.
R. E.
Great hotel in a really handy position to see London. We booked a suite for 2 adults and 1 child but there wasn't a bed for our son. It was quickly sorted and we had a comfortable base for the night.
The bed was really comfortable and we had a good sleep after a day walking around London.
Breakfast was good but get there early as a queue can quickly form.
J. C.
Stayed for one night on a great bed and breakfast deal with a stunning bridge view from our hotel window. The room was a good size and bed very comfortable. Despite the proximity to the bridge the double- glazed window kept out the noise of the traffic. Nearby attractions including the Tower of London, the Walkie Talkie building (with Sky Garden) and, of course, Tower Bridge were within easy walking distance. In addition to the hotel there are plenty of places to eat and drink at St Katherine's Dock. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and service at breakfast was very prompt. Recommended.
J. G.
We had a lovely stay at The Tower hotel, the staff were happy to fulfil my request for a lower floor with a view if possible. When we went into the room we had a nice suprise of a Happy Anniversary card and a bottle of prosecco. Nice touch.
The room was a little tired looking but it was very clean and the view was fantastic.
Staff at this hotel are polite helpful go out of there way to fulfil requests.
Breakfast was great too we will definitely be visiting again.
Thankyou Tower Staff 👍

I spent 2 nights at The Tower Hotel and would definitely return.
The location, right next to Tower Bridge, is ideal for exploring London.
It's a large hotel and the rooms are a reasonable size with a big comfortable bed and good bedding.
The buffet breakfast is good, with plenty of choice.
The customer service from the hotel management is exemplary. I mentioned a couple of minor issues on a feedback form and both things were addressed immediately.
You can't ask for better than that.
L. S.
The location is not ideal for many tourist spots, but it is nice around the marina. The best part of the hotel is the staff, which is outstanding. We had problems printing out covid test documents and with a tourist company. The staff solved the printing issue and got me a refund from the tourist company. The hotel is very large, but you are not neglected. It was a good stay
a. p.
Nice ambiance, actually I was attending a party, so no complaints. The view of the tower bridge is great addition.
The food was really good and well presented.
J. V. R.
Perfect for a weekend stay. View from our room was mesmerizing. Loved the whole vibe.
Had trouble with electricity when we arrived. But it was sorted out by the really helpful staff.
V. B.
Fabulous hotel when staying in London. Great rooms ideal for meeting business clients and lovely walks outside
k. b.
Such a brilliant service, nothing has been too much to ask everytime we have called. Our mum is 60 tomorrow and is staying at the hotel, they are giving her a room with a view, they're leaving some birthday bits in the room for her and have given a complementary breakfast for two. I cant wait for my parents to stay tomorrow and I will definitely be visiting myself in the future. Thanks so much Jessica!
I.
Bought an afternoon tea on Groupon however it didn't mention that it was at vicinity so we were walking around for ages looking for it. Decent selection of teas and the view was great
A. G.
OK let's start with the positives, The hotel is in a fantastic location next to Tower Bridge and only 7 minutes walk from Tower Hill tube station. Rooms are well priced with a 2 night stay in a larger 150 sq ft room with a double bed on a Saturday and Sunday night costing £262.00.
A nice view of the Thames to the east of Tower Bridge. The bed was comfortable. The staff were pleasant during our stay.
On the negative side, the room was very warm and the air conditioning was ineffective.
The cold water tap give out hot water and had to be run for 5 minutes to get it to a luke warm temperature.
The breakfast at the hotel was disappointing only being lukewarm and the sausages were of poor quality.
H. S.
Very clean and pleasant. Room overlooked the Thames and Tower Bridge. Plenty of restaurants around St Katherines dock. Easy walk to Tower Station district line. Cabs available when needed
a. d.
Absolutely amazing location. We didn't get a view of bridge, but our view of the river was lovely.
Very fast check in by friendly staff.
Buffet style breakfast was great.
Check outis 11am, but if you are late, you will be charged!!
C. O.
This was a great hotel in a perfect location to get any of the tourist attractions as well has a major hub for busses, underground, trains and ferries. Restaurants all around and a beautiful park along the water just steps away. Something for everyone. Highly recommend.
K. P.
Absolutely fantastic
First time we have stayed here and will return
Spotlessly clean and very comfortable
Staff were very welcoming
View was fab
C. D.
The location was stunning being so close toTower Bridge, London Tower and Katharine Docks. We got a fab deal with Bridge view, breakfast, and parking included. Staff were universally efficient, helpful and friendly; breakfast was excellent and Vicinity dining was good. If you can get a deal, grab it
k. c.
I was in my room, brushing my teeth with the London Bridge reflection in the mirror. Absolutely fantastic views both front and back of the hotel. Room was very clean, service was great and helpful and breakfast perfectly cooked and plentiful.
S. J. M.
Lovely hotel and great rooms great staff great atmosphere. Great view. All good
T. C.
Really good stay, superb staff in a great location.
Only a few niggles/looking tired in places, scuffs and knocks on doors, not all lifts working, fan/air con. not operating, dusty areas in rooms.
None of this was too much of an issue, and hope to stay again soon, as the staff and food are an asset to the hotel.
T. D.
An amazing hotel, staff are so helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was beautiful. Defo give it a go
D. B.
My wife and I have just spent three nights at this hotel and what beautiful views ,(fantastic).
But room was clean but dated and worn ,As for the breakfast very very substandard, appalling , inedible perhaps staff should get together and buy local produce as it was the worst full English I have ever tried to eat, old, overheated for days ...even the person showing you to your table didn't want to be there
G. M.
Nice Hotel clean and friendly love position over looking Tower Bridge on on one side and the Marina on the other side would definitely stay here again.
J. D.
The location is brilliant and we had a room with a bridge/river view which has to be one of the best in London. Having said that, this hotel is not 4 star. It may have been when built, but it is in desperate need of a refurbishment. The rooms are more of what would be expected in a 3 or even 2 star hotel. There's switches which don't work, rusty water stains on the toilet, cheap-looking shower fixtures, chipped paint, scratches etc. in all 3 rooms with party stayed in. One of the rooms had a broken air conditioning and all of the rooms facing the bridge are subject to a constant, high-powered whining/whirring noise courtesy of the fans on the roof below. We weren't expecting silence, it is London after all, however the noise was loud enough that it disturbed even the deep sleepers of the party. An advertised 4-star hotel charging 250 pounds should be better.
J. P.
We had the best stay and we cannot wait to return. Our ruby wedding celebrations were noted by a lovely card and bottle of ruby wine. A lovely surprise.
J. R.
So impressed with this hotel ..what a beautiful location..our room looked out onto tower bridge and when we had breakfast we looked out onto St Katherine's dock
D. G.
Great location by Tower Bridge, pictures show 2 views from room, if you book make sure you ask for room with view of Tower Bridge. Food good, great breakfast, rooms a decent size and bed comfortable, even have iron in room - air conditioning could be better but this is being renovated. Lots of good restaurants and walks in vicinity. Comprehensive transport links by bus, train, boat, dlr, underground to all parts of the city.
J. s.
We came here for 4 days oct 21. Definitely deserves a five star. We had 4 lovely nights in this great hotel . We also got 4 days parking for a great price . Brilliant location also close to the local tesco a tube station Is around the corner .
Will definitely be coming back here again.
J. R.
Great place to enjoy London and staff all great. Only thing to be aware of is that all service carries a 12.5 % service charge - even just a drink. I don't know why it's up from 10% but can only assume a follow on from pandemic. Beware London you don't price yourself out for the ordinary working class person. You need us at this precise time!
J. W.
The hotel is perfectly fine, if it was 1995. The room is dirty. Previous guest shopping bags left in the room. Go here if it’s cheap. Otherwise. Go somewhere else. So many other choices. Have a look elsewhere. The view of a bridge isn’t worth it.
J. H.
Would definitely recommend! Great staff - friendly, professional, approachable and helpful! Very clean and great facilities.
M. B.
Ideal location extra bonus having a view of Tower Bridge from our window on
the third floor. Friendly helpful staff on downside long queues first morning went for breakfast popular time 9am, so went earlier the next 2 mornings. Based at St Katherine's Dock so lots of places to eat . Would highly recommend.
R. H.
Absolutely loved our experience at this hotel and excellent value for money. We will definitely be going back.
j. g.
Hi , just wanted to say thank you for a lovely stay , really enjoyed it , the room was superb and the view was spectacular, the staff was very kind and food was delicious, will definitely be coming back soon - Best hotel in London
D. G.
What a great experience... a massive thank you to Montseruat the Spanish lady who checked us in, You really made us feel truly welcome and accommodated all our questions.
Room with a view ... Tower Bridge and the Shard giving you the best morning coffee views. Room was clean and serviced each day.
Thank you Montseruat and thank you Tower Hotel.
E. P. H.
Superb stay at the Tower Hotel! Staff very friendly, attentive and providing an excellent service! Food and drinks were great too and the room met my expectations. I would definitely recommend anyone would stay in this hotel and would come back should I need to! Also, worth paying the extra for the tower bridge views!
B. P.
This hotel is as good as it looks..
The stuff are so helpful and friendly....
Had a problem with the room ...but was sorted out very quickly...
Even if you don't get the view of tower bridge the harbour behind the hotel is nice and the little shops and pub are great ..and was a super yacht in the harbour...was nice to see how the other half live....(uncle Google said 10mill a year to run the phoenix 😳)
S. H.
we stayed for a few nights, the room was clean, spacey & had a fab view of the bridge, for us it was ideally located for what we had planned and wanted to do plus we was away from the noise and bustle of the city, we would definitely stay here again.
H. D.
View was amazing, Room nice and clean and the staff were very polite and extremely helpful. Will be staying again!
A.
Very nice hotel, staff were extremely friendly and helpful with the issue we had with our check in, the room is very clean and as can see from the picture's you get a great view as well...
P. M.
Had a view of the marina which was really lovely. Room was clean though there were a few things that could have been updated - I had a bit of a rickety chair for the desk and the menu was a wonky photocopied paper (though this could be for COVID reasons as it's easily replaceable after each guest!) but to be honest, didn't take away from my experience of the place.
Staff were super warm. friendly and very responsive. The hotel is
within easy reach of a lot of restaurants and a Tesco express around the corner, Tower Bridge is literally just a minute around the corner and St Katherine's Docks at the back too which is a nice place to chill out with a drink. Just wish I'd had more time to explore the area around but alas, it was a work/solo stay.
Highly recommended.
D. R.
Brilliant location and great staff, we have stayed there a few times now.
D. J.
Lovely spacious suite (although slightly dated) with the most fantastic views. Decent breakfast. Attentive staff efficient check in. The free parking. It's a thumbs up from me.
M. B.
A very nice hotel, although slightly more expensive than I would usually stay in. The customer service was excellent, and the rooms were very nicely furnished and clean, with good views. The breakfasts were also very nice and the service was good even when it was quite busy. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people, and I would say not to let the design of the building from the outside put you off.
M. O.
Really good value, reasonable price for comfortable rooms with stunning views. Like every hospitality venue at the moment they are a little short staffed, but the staff were really friendly and helpful. Excellent location.
P. C.
Good view twin room over St Catherine's Dock. Good air conditioning. Curtains did not fully cover window so room only dark until dawn. Booking in slightly longer than normal. Bathroom bit dirty and tiles need regrouting but plenty of complimentary shampoos etc.
M. B.
Excellent location, friendly staff, nice comfortable rooms with all amenities provided, had a super riverview from my room, not a bad sight waking up to Tower Bridge every morning!
R. B.
What an amazing hotel in a beautiful setting.
The staff are brilliant especially Jessica who helped arrange a wonderful birthday breakfast for a unique young man thank you very much we will be back xx
P. A.
A hidden gem. Awesome views from the conference room we were using and the bar we retired to after. Very reasonable price for location.
D. S.
Fantastic hotel and lovely staff couldnt be more helpful the rooms was amazing.
K. S.
The tower Hotel it's a very good hotel I did enjoy my time which was only one night. Fast and easy to book, the staffs are very kind and loving, and hope you lucky enough to have a room so you can have a beautiful view of the tower.
B. G.
Great place friendly staff well organised great location for seeing London, view of Tower Bridge from hotel really good. Great rooms very spacious and clean food also very good well worth a visit. Definitely will use again very reasonably priced.
B. S.
Beautiful hotel, staff went above and beyond for us. Breakfast was delicious and the view from our room was spectacular. Cannot wait to return again soon
H. F.
Lovely hotel - friendly staff. Clean large comfortable bedroom with a wonderful view of Tower Bridge. Excellent choices for breakfast. Can't wait to return!!
J. C.
Lovely hotel..with beautiful views..great staff..good breakfast..would have liked some info of the bars and restaurants within the hotel in our room..but great stay
T. D.
Nice hotel and location. Not to happy about the service charge for our drinks. Communication not the best. I emailed a query how much to upgrade to a Bridge view and didn't hear anything till after we checked. Too late
M. M.
Well positioned Hotel, behind St Katherine's dock with plenty bars and restraunts. Bus stop over the road to get anywhere £1.55. Comfortable beds. Will definitely go back.
L. H.
Great views and location. Queue for breakfast was quite long and why don't hotels have proper toasters 🤣 Would stay here again.
S. B.
You couldn't ask for a better location. The view of the bridge from our room was amazing. Outstanding hotel, will definitely book again in the future.
L. C.
Located in a wonderful location with a fantastic view of the Tower bridge and the Shard.Thank you for such an amazing experience which I'll treasure forever and a Xmas wish come true. Will definitely come back and recommend you to my friend's
A. H.
Nice location and hotel, but slow check in time, and rooms not ready even when previously booked, and should be ready for 3.00pm.Sloppy!
S. P.
Excellent! Very professional staff. Wonderful view. Spotlessly clean room. Excellent location.
M. T.
Location is great but be careful, you can easily miss the road that leads to it.
Staff were great, very helpful. Only issue was the elevator. It waits for no one.
J. P.
The best place to stay. The views are amazing. You realize you are in the heart of London. The price is worth every penny. Highly recommended.
M. M.
Had a beautiful view of the London tower Bridge which was all lit up.
Hotel is supposed to be a 5 star hotel.
It's nice, a little different from what the average American is used to.
1. Rooms are small.
2. Bring a washcloth or scrubby for your shower, they don't supply wash/face cloths.
3. Breakfast was fantastic. Used both room service (included in my price), and used the restaurant.
4. Overall a very nice hotel.
5. Behind the hotel is a marina, with shops and places to eat all around.
Separate note... Bring your own coffee when traveling to England. Coffee, (including the local Starbucks), is a shot of expresso in hot water.
This is not a hotel thing... It seemed to be the general standard everywhere I tried getting coffee.
Hotel... Thank you very much for everything. I will stay again when I'm in the area.
S. B.
I dont often get to stay in places like this, usually booked up and over (work) budget. But because there are less visitors in London I was able to stay. Amazing rooms with even better beds! Breakfast was slightly underwhelming for the quality of the hotel, but I'm hoping this was just down to the restrictions. Lovely area with lots to see and do. Hope to be able to visit again.
H. V.
Best view of the Tower Bridge if not with the tree in front. Members of staff were great. Food was great too. We'd come back in the future.
D. P.
Great hotel great service stayed here twice now only thing i would say rooms could do with update but very clean tho and u wont get better view off the bridge
J. R.
Really good hotel beside tower bridge. Extremely comfortable beds and nice views
J. C.
Enjoyed the visit there, my main complaint is parking! Theres not enough spaces. Rooms basic but clean, no tea service in the room. Staff helpful
E. C.
Best hotel with the best view, friendly staff and good food.
p. g.
Great location. Lovely staff. Rooms are VERY tired, but comfortable. My main issue is although it's an ok place to stay it is not 4* in any way. Probably a low 3* to be honest. But it is cheap and good value for money.
j. p.
Good room with views. A bit of a wait to check-in of 30 minutes. The self check-in kiosks were not working. Don't pay for the breakfast. I had the cooked English and it was served buffet style and was cold with tough dry bacon. OJ and tea was best bit.
D. E.
Very friendly and efficient check in and front of house staff. Clean and functional room with excellent views of the river and skyline.
D. G.
Great location especially with Thames and Tower Bridge views. Lovely comfy and clean rooms, and spot on English breakfast
J. R.
Brilliant location and lovely views either of the bridge or marina. Clean rooms and lovely fresh breakfasts.
A. K.
Can’t beat the location, the rooms are starting to feel dated and need some updates, staff and cleanliness were great
B. C.
Fantastic views and lovely staff. Rooms are great and breakfast good also.
P. B.
Absolutely love this hotel, won't stay anywhere else, great location and the views great wherever you stay in hotel, lovely rooms and staff so helpful, breakfast really good set you up for the day and it's lovely to come back to at the end of busy sightseeing days and relax with a drink in the bar, well done Tower Hotel
C. J.
Room was a bit shabby and small but ok although our shower was cold.
The actual hotel was nice, bars etc. Breakfast was ok but nothing to write home about
D. M.
Excellent location, great views out to the bridge. And a good price.
a. c.
The hospital said, they would refund me and I call\ed never got it, well be going their hopefully to get a refund
K. C.
We have stayed at this hotel 2x now and the accomodation is fantastic, a very comfortable night's sleep and fantastic location.
C. K.
Booked on a special deal after seeing it on a rail travel show. Very comfortable and the staff were extremely courteous and helpful from the reception to breakfast service etc.. The on site restaurant Vicinity provides good food but a little on the pricey side. There are plenty of restaurants in the nearby St Katherine's docks area to suit all tastes pockets. The Hotel yes will certainly return there.
M. U.
Lovely hotel, rooms clean, restaurant food Lovely, loads of transport to get around and great view of the tower of London, would definitely use this hotel again 😀
J. M.
Fantastic views, reasonably priced , restaurant inside hotel, and walking distance to st Katherine's docks and Tower Bridge.
P. U.
I received a call from Management and my issue was resolved immediately. Melanie Cole | Head of RSC was professional and provided me with excellent service. I highly recommend this facility.
J. K.
Not the best decor room I have ever stay but they were of a good standard for what we wanted. A base were we could go and explore London. Superb location right next to Tower Bridge and The Tower of London and 5 min walk to either the underground or the boat taxis.. Staff were friendly and efficient.
R. C.
A hotel with a great view while also being oddly rather secluded and accessible at the same time.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. While the facilities might not be up to the best stabdards, the helpfulness more than makes up for the lack of decor. While the view takes care of the rest.
K. R.
Staff great very helpful and friendly.
Decor to the room was dated and needed a general refresh
D.
Bedroom a bit tired but spacious and good facilities. good breakfast staff pleasant and helpful
A. G.
great location, great food and friendly staff. was a lovely experience and will definitely come here again in the future, and you can’t forget the amazing view of the tower bridge. only one slight problem as the air con wasn’t working and the room was very hot. but we were given a nice quiet fan and got a much better sleep!
S. W.
Had a 2 night stay here, on a weekend trip. Good location, good views, it is a 10 minute walk to the nearest underground.
J. C.
Perfect in every way. Except the queue for breakfast at times, prevented the lifts from getting to the ground floor, for those wanting to get back to their room
N. P.
Amazing location. Friendly helpful staff, rooms have been spruced up cupboards tired. No access to room frifge was locked. Booked double bed which on first impressions was huge. Getting into into bed at the end of a long day was disappointing as it was 2 singles pushed together. With toppers on which did not fill all mattress. As a coupe you lie in the middle, very uncomfortable. During the night they separated from each other.
P. S.
The outside look of the building is not particularly inspiring but inside the interior is impressive and everything is clean and well run. My room was modern, spacious and comfortable had an amazing view of the Tower Bridge. The biggest advantage of the hotel is it's location which is within walking distance to popular attractions.
H. C.
Stayed at the tower Hotel for the first time for five nights...
Reception staff very good ,approachable with any problems, would stay again here, just a few problems....First would like to thank them for moving me to a new room on first day as it was too hot in the room air con not working. Gradually as the week went on found other problems, pillows all flat or lumpy, need renewing, house keeping need to retrain for cleaning of rooms as short on toilet roll, dirty nappy in bathroom bin from previous occupant, not emptied a few times, breakfast good ,but quick to put note under door one night for charges of three breakfasts that we did not have as had breakfast out when sight seeing in London. Also reported the bedside drawer opened to retrieve an item out and could not close again, reported this and stayed unfixed for the rest of my stay .
Vincinity bar attached to hotel, well they have a App on tables to log onto,to order drinks and food BUT not all customers are up to date with using apps ,and accept that older generations should be respected and approached to take there orders.
Views from hotel beautiful, St Kathryn's Warf beautiful for drinks and food......
J. P.
Great hotel right by Tower Bridge really pretty at night the staff where all lovely a beautiful breakfast very enjoyable indeed 😀 ❤
K. A.
Great place to stay. Worth the money to upgrade to a room with a view of Tower Bridge.
J. M.
Awesome! Can't wait to come back again! Got this resort for a great rate at ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ I like this resort and I'm so happy I stayed here much cheaper than what I normally pay.
Thoroughly enjoyed my visit, history came alive seeing Traitors Gate and the Bloody Tower. The Crown Jewels are stunning. Great value for money too. Well worth a visit at the moment as there are no queues.
C. B.
It’s definitely the best Hotel in town. Thank you! It was a pleasure being your guest. See you next time !
C. S.
The suite needed updating, plus the electrics in the plugs fused....
The breakfast was great....
Other than that it was a good experience..
P. D.
Fantastic location right next to Tower Bridge
Meal service was very good and food was excellent especially the breakfast
Had an amazing view of Tower Bridge from my room. Room was very clean.
Very polite and helpful staff.
R.
Brilliant location. Right next to Tower Bridge. Room was great and overlooked the Thames. Short walk to Tower Hill tube station
O. O.
Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Vicinity restaurant was decent, however our table had no number on, which meant our meal took ages because they couldn't find us.
Breakfast was delicious.
C. R.
I enjoyed my stay. Beautiful view!
K. K.
What a lovely and charming hotel. I don't know if part of it was just because it was my first proper hotel stay since the start of all this Covid rubbish, but I had a real holiday resort kind of vibe whilst staying here. Love the atmosphere, the location next the Thames is brilliant, the staff are lovely and can't do enough for you, the bar areas and breakfast restaurant upstairs (with a very tasty and well cooked breakfast I may add) are all great. The room was spacious, clean and comfy. And all these things I've mentioned have amazing views over the Thames and Tower Bridge, which I was really expecting. Ok, at first glance the building itself, and the decor throughout, is quite a bit dated now, but that is just down to the unfortunate era it was built or designed, which must be 70's or 80's if I were to guess. That must be overlooked though for all its positives. Definitely recommended and I will happily stay there again.
K. L.
Nice location.Clean, but worn and slow escalators. Breakfast area is a very busy, noisy place.
O. W.
Lovely staff, great rooms , very comfortable bed and bedding and if you get the right room the views of the tower bridge are stunning , and watching life on the Thames
s. s.
Great location for view of Tower Bridge and the Thames also for underground and buses breakfast and beds brilliant rooms need updating
B. B.
Lovely staff and always welcoming.
Although upon checking into our room the tv was faulty (chromecast had no wifi) called reception straight away and said we were out for the evening. Came back after 5 hours and was still a issue.
Called down to reception again and said that they did log it with maintenance but that there were not here today and probably won't be fixed till after we left.
Toilet flush was very dodgy, had to give it 20 mins plus for it to fill the tank to flush, including having to hold the flush down to get it to flush fully. Rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment to modern standard. Shower is also from the late 90s.
Comfy bed and lovely staff and breakfast 😋
Tldr.
Great location, friendly staff and lovely breakfast sadly let down by outdated fixtures and fittings in the room.
E. L. R.
Location great Room dated. No cash payments even in the bar.
T. G.
Disappointing. Allowances made for the hotel adjusting to COVID rules. Was one of the worst nights sleep I’ve had in a hotel. The noise from the plumbing was really loud. The room was ridiculously hot. The carpet and chair had biscuit crumbs and lots of hair on them when I arrived. The cooked breakfast was cold. Would definitely not stay again. The 2 stars are for its convenience to Tower Hill station and the lovely view from my room of Tower Bridge.
r. m.
A bit expensive but great rooms, great views and full on English breakfast
C. M.
Overall it was a good stay BUT a few little issues that did not spoil the trip.
Good: Excellent location, nice inside lobby, Free internet, Friendly staff (Nazir was very friendly), Big flat screen TV & beautiful front open bar area.
Bad: rooms were a bit not properly looked after : Burnt bulbs, Non functioning security box and lack of electricity plugs next to the beds.
P. A.
Nice hotel. Hotel is clean and tidy. Staff are courteous and helpful. Enjoyed my stay
m. l.
Lovely hotel with great views very comfortable bed . Had a lovely stay
I. A.
Very nice hotel and the staff were very friendly and the service was good
S. B.
Accessible room was easy to enter, it had a good size washroom. Bed was comfy and a decent view of tower bridge.
M. S. H.
My husband, 2 boys and I stayed here a few weeks ago. Such a good location.
D. W.
Gowmans tower hotel... 1st floor is very nice with tower bridge view and good size lounge with hall space.
K. P.
The view from a tower view room was lovely.
The staff were very helpful and professional.
The bed was comfortable, if not a little too firm.
The breakfast was very large, very much worth the extra as it will keep you going all day. Didn't need lunch.
when entering the room we found rubbish under the tea cupboard which was a little concerning as it was easily visible. It was not removed during the "room cleaning" in the morning. Makes me wonder how well they actually clean the rooms. For price I would have expected a little bit better.
the air conditioning was broken and switched on at all times, and was too loud for me to be able to sleep. I did inform them and they sorted it.
The mini fridge was also broken which was fustrating but didn't make too much difference to our stay.
with this hotel you are paying for the view and location and a roof over your head for the night, both are fantastic.
R. W.
Great view , great staff ! But the this hotel is absolutely filthy …. Paid for upgrade and the room was filthy tooth paste left on sink from previous guest , food and marks all over furniture the room we was given looked nothing like the one in the pictures ! Mould In shower ! Even at breakfast we were first ones in at 6:30am and chairs were covered in food ! Such a disappointment … the 2 stars are for the view and the lovely staff ! But you seriously need new cleaners not acceptable especially with COVID 19 things need cleaning properly , I have messaged them but not had any reply to my complaints …..,
H. A.
Looking a bit tired and our room was not big but fantastic location and views and great food and drink. Lovely Riverside eating/drinking area
P. E.
Great location, touristic area.. beside st Katherine docks, with many restaurants and cafes around. Hotel is clean but bit old, staff friendly, rooms have good facilities but abit small. Rooms with great view on the river and London tower (if booked the tower view category)
L. S.
Thank you for amazing memorys in your hotel with best view ever on tower bridge
e. w. o. R.
Clean, spacious rooms, very friendly and helpful staff.
L. S.
It's mostly the view from this hotel that saves it. We could hear noise from outside and the bed wasn't fantastic. They told us there was a gym but we couldn't use it. Our room was quite small. The view was amazing though. Right beside tower bridge and you can watch the boats go up and down the river.
P. N.
Night one summary...Shocking!! Room is outdated and in need of maintenance. Called for room service no answer, got to reception only to get told that they can not get hold of them. I called room service back twice only to be met with attitude. Wow, never have I experienced such a poor level of service at this level of price.
O.
Reviewed as London was reopening after covid lockdown so some restrictions were/are still in place. Great placed hotel to explore London with great transport links and nearby attractions, lively bar and ideal view of Tower Bridge. However on our visit there was building work on the front making the entrance very dark when returning at night, room was very hot (no working ac) extractor fan in bathroom no working. The cooked breakfast OK,
k. s.
The view is everything, I was expecting the hotel and the room to be more clean, this is like a 3 stars hotel with a good view that makes it a 4 star. Very lovely and helpful staff.
G. S.
Brilliant view from room, room very hot no air conditioning working.Hotel a bit tired looking and some staff treat some guest different (if you look as if you have money.)
P. S.
Despite an initial "hiccup", the place occupies one of London's best views.
Will return.
J. W.
Had an amazing night. Matthew the receptionist and the concierge were fantastic and welcoming. Thank you
K.
Wonderful hotel, fantastic staff, helpful in every way and perfect location. Could not fault it. Xxxxxxxxxxxx.

Edit November 2021
I like this place so much I just booked it for a personal/ non work related trip. Receptionist changed room to one with a Tower Bridge view so my partner could enjoy that...and staff were super friendly and helpful... First time back after 2 (pandemic) years away... will be back again in a few weeks. Cheers!!
(Old review)
Amazingly helpful staff...
Rooms with a view of the Thames and tower bridge but they tend to be noiser... if you're a light sleeper then the St. Katherine's docks side (room 707 if you can) is super peaceful.
Once when it was too hot they gave me a fan.. rooms are spotless and executive ones have mini bars and decent coffee machines.
The breakfast is great...even if the bacon is too crispy! But the choice is perfect.
Please get the chocolate blondie back on the menu!
Also a few Room service items are available 24 hours...
Go visit... Must be my tenth time with work... Really enjoy coming here :)

Spotless room, excellent breakfast, stunning location. What's not to like.
N. J.
I book the hotel via a secret escape offer for my 60th birthday, booked a suite as it said a tower bridge view, but NO, arrived & was given a suite with a view of the side of st Katherine’s dock, not at all what I expected & if I had known I would not have made this booking, I asked it we could change rooms but was told no, nothing was available which I’m surprised at as they have some 700 rooms & without tourists here currently I doubt they are fully booked!
The room was very dark with 70s style decor, it was very shabby, oks dark coffee table that was not cleaned under the glass top, the cooker in the kitchen had dust on the top of it, the bathroom is in desperate need of updating, couldn’t get any hot water from the stand alone shower, mound in the shower area. I believe that they put anyone that booked an offer into their old rooms!
I’m so disappointed it really spoilt my birthday!

Very nice room good breakfast and beautiful views.
D. M.
Hotel was lovely just a couple off things, the extra bed in our room did not arrive till 9.50 pm on day off arrival and the next morning we wake up to a leak in the wardrobe which wet my clothes.
P.
Stayed here while attedning a work conference a few years ago. Room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast in the morning was very good. The location is excellent if you're a tourist - Tower Bridge is right outside, and you're within walking distance of many attractions and sights.
P. M.
Great hotel and fantastic location. The hotel services were great and we had desserts in room service and enjoying the view. Room was very clean. Many attractions around the area particularly the stunning view of the Tower Bridge at night. Tower of London and St Katherine Dock just near by the hotel. There also lot of restaurants around. Resident parking only cost £24 a day.
H. C.
Room very warm food wasn't very nice . Lifts not working very busy that weekend
S. C.
Horrible service. I emailed them three times to ask if there is a testcenter in the neighborhood. They simple didn’t reply. When I phoned them, they said: look on google maps. So not customer friendly
P. D.
Not the prettiest Hotel to look at on the outside but it is super clean inside with spacious rooms and a large bar and restaurant. Complimentary minibar and views across the Thames
M. E.
Great staff gave us a free upgrade breakfast is good would highly recommend
J. N.
When were in our room someone walked in from staff..And on our last night got a call from reception to tell me our taxi was here and we hadn't ordered on..but apart from that it was very good
G. T.
Very modern clean efficient cared for place. Its built on the River Thames right next to Tower Bridge, a sight to behold at night when its all lit up as well too. Aptly named therefore. Attended Seminars here I have and tried their restaurant too.
Nice views of the Thames as you are eating your meal and good value for money I thought at the time. Go take a look! Enjoy!
k. p.
Great staff clean and tidy hotel but not impressed with the outside bar/ pizza area as you couldn't take a drink from the hotel into the area you had to buy there's and then they closed the food before we could order at 8:30pm
J. S.
Very nice reception area. Room not so great. Needs upgrading.
P. C.
Perfect place to stay, fab view with room overlooking Tower bridge, delicious breakfast, & very attentive staff

Lovely hotel, great rooms, friendly staff and if you want a view of tower bridge this is the place
S. C.
We stayed here and will return. Great location and our room was upgraded after some initial confusion without question.
P. M.
Hotel does need updating, needed to move straight away because air con was not working in first room.We were moved quickly and without any problems.Staff are very good, happy and very welcome.Breakfast is a bufet that is very good. The main bonus of this hotel are the views from your window WOW
C. S.
Always a pleasure to return to the tower, exceptional service, friendly staff nothing to much to help your stay, comfortable & spacious rooms excellent food & drink looking forward to my next visit
d. l.
Nice hotel. Got a nice upgrade when floor was soaked in our bedroom
K. C.
Very nice hotel well worth paying for a bridge view .rooms I would stay are a little basic but very clean and quite big .very friendly staff always ready to help had a problem with the air con but sorted within the hr .allround a very nice stay
A. R.
An excellent hotel, can't wait to go back there. Below is the view from our bedroom

A. K.
Great location at side of Thames overlooking Tower bridge, good for site seeing & allot within walking distance. Good food served & friendly efficient staff. Would recommend & will be staying again.
p. s.
The rooms were clean sufficient for what we needed. The view over the bridge was amazing. Must also thank the VERY helpful staff.
B. W.
Very enjoyable.view was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful, room lovely ,very clean..only issue was breakfast, could do with a re think maybe as it was very slow moving with only one person serving.
R. E.
Very Bad Very Unprofessional extremely rude I have never seen such behaviour I am total upset how can they even do business like that - we had to cancel the booking and the lady in the other side was shouting and said really bad things also the refund is still pending - stay away for this place - stay safe
A. C.
Lovely hotel and lovely staff, the vircinty restaurant is amazing, great view of the tower bridge and very lovely warm happy helpful staff :)
F. S.
Hotel is very nice.amazing view.customer service are excellent. Breakfast is superb. Worth of money.
N. T.
The best location.
Breakfast good and service good.
Rooms clean but need an update and minor repairs.
Air conditioning does not work so avoid hot times
J. W.
A short stay at this hotel which is in a fantastic location. Our stay was made better by the very friendly and attentive staff. We'll definitely stay again.

Fabulous position! need's refurb I went regularly to the carvery over 20 year's ago not changed much decoy still the same, staff very polite!
B. K.
Great staff, awesome views, currently buffet breakfast served in dining rooms but room service one was lovely.restaurant really popular in the evening so please book ahead.
D. R.
It may look like a building from judge dredd. But in side its a lovely hotel.

Had a great stay at this hotel October, the staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The view was amazing and an upgrade when we arrived made the stay. Breakfast was really good. Will be back again next year.
A. H.
Very good position, great views of Tower Bridge and At Katherine's Docks. Hotel is showing its age, breakfast was average, despite this would happily visit again
T. T.
Amazing location...Good size room.Very helpfull staff.
K. F.
Great hotel in a superb location.
Excellent rooms, with comfortable beds. Bathrooms could be updated, but that's a minor problem. Bar prices are reasonable and happy hour between 18:00 and 19:00 is a bonus. The buffet breakfast is varied and plentiful.
Would definitely stay here again
j.
Nice hotel, great staff, comfy bed. Good pillows - mix of feathers and spongy ones. Had an amazing view from my window. Bathroom let the room down a bit as everything was so modern looking, made bathroom a bit cramped and dated looking. Also not a fan of having the handles in a bath if you didn't request the disabled room.
Was a little surprised by the breakfast selection, didn't seem to have much fruit or granola out. Sausages and bacon were nice though so again wouldn't really complain
S. C.
Nice hotel, really polite helpful staff. Lovely breakfast and the view speaks for itself. Will be back
N. W.
Stay here every time we visit London, about twice a year. Ideal location, great staff, good breakfast and rooms with views
G.
All the staff were friendly nice big room we had a view over the marina breakfast was also good
B. P.
Unnecessarily expensive.... rooms are ok... good breakfast.
E. B.
Room was disgusting. Bathroom had hair everywhere and never got cleaned over the three days there. Never took away wet towels so they just piled up in the corner of the very small bathroom. Bedroom amenities covered in grime and obviously hadn’t been cleaned in between guests. Also amenities where very outdated. Grime on the window from people’s fingers and faces being pushed up against the glass.
Be prepared for small rooms, considering the price we paid I expected more. Had a lovely view of the city, not of the bridge. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
You are paying for the location, not a good hotel.
I. B. (.
Perfect location, lovely room and facilities. Late checkout.
E. L.
No fried eggs in the cooked breakfast, scrambled eggs are very runny, too much milk maybe? Great experience otherwise!
S. N.
Perfect location. Good quality rooms and good food
S. L.
Had a lovely weekend but our bed was uncomfortable and needed better pillows. Found the room was very hot as aircon didn't work that well
P. B.
Great place to stay staff very friendly in good area next to Tower bridge and the Tower of London
W. M.
For a hotel in this location I thought it would cost more than it did. In my opinion, the hotel rate is more than fair.
Location - literally beside the Tower Bridge. Very close to subway station and to tourist attractions.
Lots of food choices around including a few places for a drink or two.
The room - it was a good size. Modern decorations inside and usual amenities are included. The view, depending on where your room is located, is amazing.
Staff - everyone is helpful and is accommodating as possible. The breakfast staff, especially the lady who books people in, are very nice, cheerful, and helpful.
Although there are bits of the hotel that seemed old, you can see the place is well taken care of.
T. C.
Nice enough hotel in a great location. Staff are friendly enough. The breakfast offering is extensive and tasty. The room I had was fairly large for a central London location, however overlooking the Aircon units over the roof which are very noisy. View was spectacular. They advertise a gym, which there is in the loosest sense of the word. One running machine, one bike, one stepper, some free weights and a couple of upper weight machines. It's very small and all machines are very close together. All in all though a pleasant place to stay!
D. S.
Fantastic stay here. Location brilliant, customer service excellent, friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and a fantastic view. Cannot go wrong. Will definitely stay again
A. B.
Attended a conference here very recently. Facilities in the conference room were good and the refreshments at the breaks were excellent. The quality/variety of the buffet lunch was also excellent. Also the friendliness of staff, washroom facilities and availability of taxis outside.
Great location, particularly if you’re a visitor to London (which I’m not)!
G. R.
Staff were unhelpful until I got annoyed and kicked up a fuss! All of a sudden everything they couldn't do they could!
Lazy staff that's all I could say
D. M.
We booked this place for anniversary celebration, entrance and check in was fast tracked, and got the room on 5 floor, room was dirty and bed was not stable, there was no brakes on bed wheels, toilet was filthy, when complain they offer us another room and I must say the room was amazing with perfect view of London bridge, comfortable bed ...... room service was bit slow and not up to standard....... restaurant was good and breakfast was alright.
J. M.
This place has a wonderful location and staff. The lobby is beautiful. The view from our room was beautiful. Right across the street from the London Tower (Most historical place in London). Room service had a full menu 24 hours. Unfortunately, when you get to your rooms they are kind of run down. Not well taken care of. Stained showers, doors damaged, do not have your own thermostat. Felt like you were on an old run down cruise ship once you got off the elevators. I will probably stay somewhere else next time although it wasn't a horrible experience.
A. D.
Totally exclusive and amazing location. Staff were great, friendly and accommodating and really make you feel like it's a special place to be.
However - The hotel above 1st floor needs a complete overhaul. The hallways and rooms are very tired and dated. Bathroom bordering on dirty just because there's aging stains from use that can be cleaned anymore. The furniture is tired and worn and the decore is from the 80's. It's a great spot and guaranteed footfall because of it fact. But don't take advantage of this reality by compromising on everything and not paying out to make the rest of the place look as good above 1st floor because you don't want to spend the money. Could be a real talked about go to hotel if you did.
N. S.
A very beautiful panorama
My boyfriend and I wanted to spend a romantic evening in central London and so we booked one night at the Tower Hotel. The hotel room and facilities were well kept, comfortable and clean. We spent a quality stay, but I would not recommend paying too high a price for the rooms because I did not find anything exceptional. The best feature of the hotel is the location, overlooking the beautiful Tower Bridge. For those who have never been to London, Tower Bridge is magnificent at night when fully illuminated
C. H.
Top hotel and nice to walk around the area
V. M.
Nice views but thats all to be honest. Bathroom needs proper redecorating , fridge wasn't working notified reception and they entered the room whilst we were not there and left noisy mini cooler which didn't really work either. Reception staff rude and unhelpful.
T. V.
My favourite hotel in London have been 4 times and will be back in November.
G. D.
Perfect location - literally next to the iconic Tower Bridge and footsteps away from London Bridge station and Tower Hill underground. The hotel may look grey/old on the outside but the interior is cosy, well maintained and luxury-looking.
My stay was in Oct 2020 for 2 nights. I originally booked for a standard double room with Tower Bridge view but was upgraded at check-in to an executive room (nicer furniture/bathroom and has a Nespresso machine). The view from my window was FANTASTIC.
Staff were polite, efficient and attentive.
Breakfast was good (not too wow). There is a Tesco Express and a small Starbucks next door.
OVERALL, I would definitely come back here and would recommend this place to people who look for convenience and comfort/luxury with a reasonable price.
K. D.
Very good hotel in a perfect position. Room was a little tired but very clean and comfortable.
M. W.
great hotel, rooms very clean and spacious, breakfast is a must, very central for underground.
L. E.
Sunday night stay, hotel was comfortable and breakfast very good. Staff helpful and avialable. Only two issues. 1. Air conditioning did not work and room was a little too hot. 2. Very noisy guests in next room, probably made worse by the two rooms having a connecting door. A quick to reception and the problem was sorted. I can see how adjoining rooms could be useful but not is there is a noisy party in one of them. We will definitely stay again, the location and views are superb. It's easy to get about as the District and Circle line is a 10 minute walk away.
J. L.
Good hotel and location. Very efficient and friendly staff. Comfortable bed.
A. S.
The hotel & location are absolutely fantastic, the staff, accommodation, food are all great, can't wait for my next visit!!
A. B.
Yeah stayed for a couple of nights staff very helpful, hotel clean and tidy . Recommend a room with a view of tower bridge
A. “. W.
Receptionist was amazing nothing was too much trouble for her. Staff were lovely friendly. Rooms were very clean
B.
A new favorite place to stay while in London, great view of the Tower Bridge and the Shard
A. F.
Hotel is in a top location with very friendly staff. Had a room facing Tower Bridge and the views were amazing.
S. H.
One of the weirdest hotels in London. No idea what this place is trying to be, but whatever it is, its not good.
L. W.
Amazing Hotel. Very friendly staff. Perfect location for a weekend away in London, for a more than affordable price. Very close for transport via boat, train, tube e.c.t.
The outer appearance of the hotel may seem slighty off putting to some, but the internal decor, rooms e.c.t, are to a very high standard, very very nice. Highly recommend. Amazing views of either St Katherine's dock or Tower Bridge.
D. B.
I loved The Tower Hotel. Our room had an amazing view of Tower Bridge, huge comfy bed, large TV, nice toiletries in bathroom, kettle and coffee/tea etc. We ordered room service once and ate in the restaurant also and the food was delicious. Staff were lovely & friendly. It was my first visit to London. Cant fault the hotel at all
A. R.
Sadly I left my pearl earrings in the bathroom but when I called later that day, they had not been found :(
S. H.
A great place to stay but they have issues that they are unable to predict or fix. Having said that staff is lovely.
J. S.
Great location, friendly staff but in need of renovation, rooms are looking very tired
a. m.
Very nice hotel and a good view of tower bridge from our room. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast had a large choice available. Close to some of the sights and to transport links to the rest of London.
On the negative ... we didn't get our room cleaned throughout our 2 night stay but it wasn't a huge problem for us. On the whole it was a really great stay in London.
T. R.
Lovely over night stay lovely room staff friendly everything good
B. T.
This is one of my favourite hotels in London. Location is great, food and accommodations are good. Used the bar, the room service and attended meeting as well as conferences several times here and was happy with the staff, the service and the standards every time.
j. L.
What can I say other than we had a wonderful stay. The rooms, service and and hotel overall are fantastic. Particularly Efren (main reception) who made us feel like nothing was too much bother and is an absolute asset to the hotel. Donna in the Vicinity Restaurant/Bar was second to none too, super friendly and gave us a stand out service. We couldn’t recommend the hotel enough and will definitely be returning.
G. T.
We had booked a standard double room for five nights on a business/pleasure trip and we're upgraded, free of charge by the front desk to a family room. It was very nice and roomy and a great place to retreat to.
We had a problem with the room being warm and we were set a very good fan and we're able to open two windows to get some fresh air circulating. Worked pretty well. Also the cold water taps ran hot at the end of the day and when we asked to have it checked we were told just to run the taps for a while and it would get cold...quirky but doable once you figure it out. Some people would have been in sensed by these issues but the staff were doing their best and always polite and helpful.
Interesting trip, great location and view.
j. b.
Fantastic hotel right beside tower bridge.easy check in disabled parking right outside front door
F. L.
Good position for the tower. Parking, and the dock is next door. Has bars and cafes there's even a Waitrose nearby
P. P.
Old hotel, old bathroom, the good point is location.
D. F.
Besides being a fab hotel, love it as a car park location just outside congestion zone and very close to tower bridge
L. K.
What a superb location for visiting london. Fab views of Tower Bridge from bedroom. Gorgious Breakfast. Wexwill book again
L. O.
Me and my wife came here for our honeymoon. Everything looked very grand and impressive upon entering and staff on the reception desk were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely although the room was abit too warm and busy, i know its a very large hotel so its not a mark down. Overall we had a good experience at the Tower Hotel but it could do with updating, the room we stayed in (3rd floor) looked very tired. 4 Stars.
A. K.
I booked this as part of a package through Omega travel that included a trip to the Saatchi gallery to see the Tutankhamen exhibition. We were told that rooms may not be available until around 4pm however arrived about 2pm to be told we had been allocated room 357 which was ready. Nice clean, warm comfortable room, with a great shower and a very nice view of Tower Bridge. Slept well in a very comfy bed. Breakfast was included in our package which was a buffet style, both hot and cold food available, all of which was very good. There are some window seats that overlook St Katherines dock however these filled up quickly. Checkout (around 9am) was busy but painless. we had a drink in the hotel bar the previous night that has great views over the Thames and Tower Bridge. All in all a great deal from our package in a clean comfy hotel with a fantastic location.
P. W.
Spectacular view, but that's pretty much what one gets for the money. The hotel is worn down. My bathroom was not the cleanest. The room standard is ok, but not up to expectation for the price. The breakfast too was a let down. Quite undrinkable coffee really. And generally not the best selection.
On the positive side: the staff of the hotel was very helpful, service minded and friendly.
S. B.
5th visit to this lovely yet friendly hotel. Lovely room either front or rear of the hotel, great views, comfortable rooms. Staff did work hard to make sure all guests comfortable during Covid. Track and Trace, masks, only restaurant and the restaurant bar open, breakfast slots available 30 mind at a time for breakfast, full English or Continental. Al a Carte.
Love London, always a memorable weekends stay.
Feels lovely coming back, even during Covid. Xx
B.
Stayed here for one night while on a business trip. All-round an excellent hotel. Felt welcome from the moment I checked in, with polite and efficient staff offering everything I needed.
The room itself was great. Came with everything you'd expect for a hotel of this standard, and was of course very clean. The view of tower bridge by itself was worth the price of admission, and has to be seen to be believed.
In the morning I was able to sample the breakfast service. Again, the service was exemplary. The range of food and drink was wide, accommodating various tastes and diets.
The checking out process was simple and efficient. Was almost sorry to leave. The service really made me feel at home, and it'll be hard to beat a room with a view like that every again. Easy recommendation from me.
T. F.
Just enjoyed a weekend here. Overall it's a nice place to stay with very friendly staff. The room was a little 'tired' but that also gave it some character.
Only 2 small complaints, noisy neighbours made worse by a connecting door that stopped zero sound and the TV system was rubbish.
Well worth having breakfast in your room if you're not a morning person and it's good value too, even with £5 service charge.
I would definitely stay here again.
D. S.
Location is brilliant, but the hotel lacks some refinement in many departments, I wouldn't class it as luxury as per their advertisements. It is what I would expect from a 3 star establishment. I attended a conference, and can only comment on the restaurant and conference facilities, I have no idea what the rooms or guest services are like. The conference facilities are fit for purpose, good filter coffee and pastries were served. Lunch was good, but not spectacular, typical hotel buffet type affair. We had supper at Vicinity - service was slow, took ages to get a drink, over 30 minutes. The dessert was sickly sweet (brownie, with stock standard chocolate ice cream and covered in chocolate syrup, none of it bad, but not good either). The burger I had was moist and decent, but I suspect against its price, not good value. The popcorn chicken was covered in sauce that was sweet and tasted a lot like ketchup - so a little gross. It is however well placed in London, right next to Tower Bridge, so if you have a riverside view, it is the iconic view of the Thames. Facing the other way you get a good view of the City.
A. a. V. C. r.
A little dated. That goes for everything bathroom especially and no usb sockets in the room but if you have a fax there is a plug for that. Breakfast was nice and good quality but very busy. Staff were well mannered. Restaurant was a bit chaotic but the food was fine
D. C.
Staff were friendly, apart from one young lady at breakfast who didn't look like she was a morning person. Not saying a word but nodding her head to get me to follow to a table, a little odd but hey.
The room I had was possibly the furthest it could be from the lifts, a good 2 minutes walk, which made nipping out a bit of a bind. But it's a big hotel and someone had to get that room.
Bed was comfortable, room had everything you would expect present, although it did look a little worn around the edges. Could probably use a refresh as it was a little dated. Towel rail heater wasn't working and there was a volume dial in the bathroom which I couldn't figure out why it was there.
During the epic march to and from the lifts, I noticed a cupboard that had been broken into at some point in the past. Rather than replace the door, it just had a padlock and hasp put on there. Doesnt inspire confidence that your room will be secure while you're out when you see that.
I'd stay again if I needed to visit the area, comfy and a little worn around the edges, just like me.
K. L.
The hotel does show its age in some places but MY GOD THE VIEW! Well worth the extra expense for a bridge-side standard (at least) room! As other reviewers have mentioned, THE VIEW! Easy access to the tube. Across the way from the Tower of London, steps away from the Tower Bridge, awesome location. Really enjoyed the Xi lounge as well as a delicious full English breakfast / fry-up even though I missed the opportunity to have black pudding with it.
S. B.
Attended a work event. The room was clean and well ventilated. The selection of tea and coffee was very good. All pastries, cakes, biscuits, fruit and yogurts were well received and throughly enjoyed. Lunch provided was tasty and varied, so a good selection for everyone. A very good venue for corporate events.
E.
Lovely hotel with incredible views of the Tower Bridge from the room.
D. P.
My husband and I spent our honeymoon at the tower hotel and we couldn't be more pleased and happy we chose to stay here. The staff were all terrific. They treated us as if we were VIP. Rachel and Matthew were awesome they sent up a bottle to help us celebrate our honeymoon. The overall experience was beyond words and we were so blessed to have stayed in such warm and beautiful hotel filled with kind and friendly staff members...concierge staff was also great. The location of the hotel was ideal for all the tourists activities we had planned and the room/bed was beyond comfortable. We were so pleased with every aspect of our stay that it is our hope to return for our 1year anniversary.
L. W.
The view is absolutely fantastic, and the rooms are nice. Would be a 5 star review if the rooms were cleaned up to their 4 star rating, however, it was still decent though.
A. G.
We were on a trip with a coach full of ladies. We arrived early on the train and the staff at the hotel were very helpful, letting us leave our cases, as we were too early to check in. Lovely comfortable rooms and the beds were amazing! Would definitely stay here again.
D. D.
This hotel is in such a great location in London, we couldn’t have picked a better spot. I got put on the 4th floor facing the marina on the backside of the hotel. Initially I wanted to face the Tower Bridge but my mind quickly changed. The marina was peaceful and quiet and we could keep our window open without any noise. The rooms are a bit dated but are well kept and clean. The housekeeping staff were very friendly.
P. T.
Can't beat the views (if you get a bridge view room).
The hotel upgraded us which gave access to the exec floor lounge, which was nice if quite busy.
The room was nicely done, especially at the price, would certainly stay there again.
Dinner was over the bridge so we didn't get to use the restaurant or bar, in general the place was well maintained and very busy.
D. W.
Amazing location and views if you get a bridge side room. Really lovely rooms although a little dated. Immaculately clean and well presented. Typical London prices. But those views...Amazing. Bit out the way for central London and tubes but if you like walking it's fine. Starbucks right next door. Really good hotel. I loved it. Went to the theatre which was in view of my room and then the Ivy brasserie. Fabulous trip.
A.
Whoever is rating this place highly hasn't stayed at a decent hotel recently, obviously. Mediocre, outdated accommodations located next to a noisy tourist trap. This place is astoundingly overpriced for what it is. A Best Western on the side of a highway in Nebraska achieves more than this property. Poor maintenance. No climate control in a hot concrete building shaped like a bunker. Internet barely works. Lazy staff. We've been moved to 5 different rooms because each time we report an issue they relocate us to a room that is even worse. It is truly remarkable how terrible this place is and how incompetent and uncaring the staff are.
S. B.
Not a great experience and won’t be returning. The location was good, and if you get a view of the bridge that’s very nice. However, the rooms are very outdated and are not cleanly (especially bathroom). I was there for my anniversary and had a bridge view room. An older Spanish man (who was training a younger Spanish man) had offered another room since we were celebrating, but it wouldn’t have the same view. So I went to the room I had booked, but it was very old and dirty. I went back to him and he pretended he didn’t remember me and eventually said room was taken (kept running off and leaving me with another person who just offered me breakfast). But the German lady (manager) was very nice and offered a different room, and had a friendly young Spanish man with glasses and an older Indian man show it to me, although the new room wasn’t much better. Overall feedback would be to renovate the rooms.
M. L. F.
The hotel is not a looker from the outside, but wow lovely on the inside! Rooms are comfortable, clean and everything is working! Breakfast selection was fantastic. We had some unexpected drinks sent to our room to help us celebrate the birthdays we were there for, which was a lovely surprise, reasonably priced too.
G. S.
My stay at the Tower Hotel was very pleasant. The room was very nice, clean, well presented and equipped with an enormous and very comfy bed. Bathroom facilities were also very nice. The breakfast spread was great too, a wide variety of food hot and cold. It's ideally located on the Thames with a nice outside eating area and a walk to the Tower Hill Tube is but a couple of minutes away. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone else staying here, be it couples, business or leisure and I would not hesitate to return myself.
A. B.
Very clean breakfast outstanding
Rooms where clean and tidy some rooms have the tower bridge view we were on the other side but still great views of the yachts in the moorings myself I wouldnt book anywhere else the staff on reception was so helpful and the room attendants made an effort to keep the room at top level so dont book anywhere else but the tower hotel 100%
D. S.
Lovely hotel, great view of Tower Bridge from my room. It's a shame that the first member of staff I encountered was extremely rude and get my long awaited weekend break off to an horrendous start.. The 2nd member of staff apologised for his colleague and done his utmost to make the rest of the hotel booking as pleasant as possible... I will contemplate returning avoiding certain members of staff if I do so.
L. K.
Lovely hotel...stayed for 2 nights and it was amazing...staff was very friendly very polite...would love to go again thank you tower hotel for the lovely memories x.
D. M.
A wonderful hotel to stay at! The location is great lying next to the Tower Bridge and very close to The Tower of London. Tower Hill has always been my favorite area in London, so staying here was just amazing for me. People at the reception are very kind and helpful, making you feel very welcome from the start. (Especially Steve) The Breakfast was very nice but very busy at all times. The restaurant was lovely, serving great food and at the Xi-bar you can drink wonderful not to pricy cocktails (be sure to try the 'Born to be British' with Beefeater Gin) I recommend this hotel to everyone who loves to stay in the Tower Hill area. I really enjoyed my stay and I'll definitely be back next time!
P. G.
The staff was friendly and helpful. It was my first trip abroad and everyone was so charming and did everything they could to make sure our trip was memorable. From the Concierge to the Housekeeping staff they were professional, friendly and charming. It was the trip of a lifetime and when I go back, I would stay there again. Thank you all for a wonderful experience!

Perfect location! Just next to the better end of Tower Bridge, in vicinity of many tourist attractions (Tower Hill, Gherkin, etc...). Appreciated large SMART LED TV in room and view from it. Positive criticism: It is visible that there is quite some time since last renovation. It takes a lot time to get in ground floor by elevator. Same during meals. Spare at least 40 minutes to have a breakfast.

Great location, very good transport connections. Helpful friendly staff, easy to find. Car park limited for space. Once parked, use public transport. Only had breakfast, which was very good, so can't comment on the other meals. Will definitely use again and have recommended to friends.

Great hotel, staff friendly. Fab room, clean, plenty of room and fantastic views. Don't be put off by the exterior, bit 70's look, inside is great. Fabulous location, marina surrounded by bars and restaurants. More great restaurants and bars across Tower Bridge. Bit far from Euston, charged £30 for cab. Went back via underground, 10 minutes walk away, £2.30 per person!!

Nice had to move rooms but ok

We stayed at The Tower for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It was a gift from my employer for 30 years of service. The room had a Tower Bridge view and we weren't disappointed when we saw it. The room itself was well decorated, clean and warm. However it got too warm and the heating was impossible to regulate ourselves. In the end we had to get concierge to kill it at the main switch (which was in a locked cupboard in the corridor). Also the TV had limited 'mono' channels and therefore after a long day of sight seeing there was nothing to unwind too as there was no sound. Thank goodness for a good book and an excellent view. The breakfast was good and having an omelette chef on hand is always a winner for us. Word of warning though, don't leave the table to get more food together as the tables are cleared and reset for the next guests even if there are clearly two full pots of tea and untouched juice sitting there. A problem easily solved with more tea and juice but a tad annoying nonetheless. The Tower Hotel experience was a pleasant one but had it not been for the view we would have felt differently. Our one time stay ...

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit, history came alive seeing Traitors Gate and the Bloody Tower. The Crown Jewels are stunning. Great value for money too. Well worth a visit at the moment as there are no queues.

Good hotel at a great location
Regardless of direction you get a great view, of course the best are rooms facing the river. But even in the other direction you get a good view of the newly renovated docks area. Place full of boats and nice places to eat, drink or just have a coffee.
Rooms are of standard quality, clean and tidy. Great beds in my view, on the hard side, which I like personally.
Breakfast was good, omelet chef on duty, another one I really like. Good selection of fruits and bread.
Friendly and nice staff.

This hotel has fantastic views of the Thames and Tower Bridge if you have a high up room facing that direction. The reception area is very modern however the bedroom was a little dated. Also the bedroom walls were very thin and I could hear the man next door coughing all night. The bath didn't look particularly great however it was more chipped than dirty. The facilities of the room were fantastic, tea, coffee, biscuits, TV, hairdryer and room service available. The bed was comfy however I did have another room adjacent to mine that I could see into on the 7th floor (room 753) which didn't make me feel comfortable. I couldn't hear any noise from outside, the windows were great.

Ideally placed if visiting London. Close to Tower Bridge. Abundant eateries and bars close by. Excellent room within the hotel and very helpful staff. The only downside was it was exceptionally busy at breakfast time, so much so that, due to time constraints we had to forego breakfast. Such a shame but hotel guests need to be aware and go down for breakfast early if time is of the essence.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Had an amazing view of river from room. Room was lovely and loved my huge bed! Lovely breakfast, was busy but plenty of choice and stocked food items. Would highly recommend this hotel 😁

Food on first night was highly enjoyable.
Breakfast on Easter Saturday to.
Our room was adequate but most of the TV channels did not work. The bathroom needs attention to in many areas.
Sunday morning was a huge let down. If I wanted to enjoy an English it would have been on cold plates rather than trying a continental. No one was checking in and we could have been anyone.
With the tower of London nearby no discount offered if you wanted to visit it. The prices are very high.
The hotel can be five star but I'd rate it three. Its had a lovely make over in reception and corridors.
When we left on Sunday no effort was made to ask if we needed any help. No English person would be inspired to either work in hospitality industry or the hotel trade.
There is more. On Saturday there was an Indian wedding. Come the evening the party had gone yet they were still having signs up in foyer greeting guests. No one was keeping tabs on what was happening.
We also bring our own tea bags to any hotel but the tea and coffee facilities in room are poor.
The hotel is in a perfect location but it's a shame it doesn't match up to four stars. Would you eat hot food at breakfast on cold plates??
Come on I want improvements before I visit again.

The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, very helpful and totally professional throughout. The lifts are very slow and rooms unfortunately, are a little dated and seem to have no air conditioning. The meeting rooms in the other hand are great, with a range of large rooms, facilities and exceptional food. Would definitely return for a much more relaxing stay.

Great location and views of London Bridge from the room. Clean and spacious, comfy bed, good shower. Friendly and helpful staff.
Bar and restaurant/cafe on site.
The reception area is in a large mezzanine area with steps up to function rooms and the bar. Perfect for business trips.

Fantastic room and unbeatable location. I removed one star because when I made the reservation, I used their price matching guarantee and they initially fought me on it. I removed another star because my room wasn’t ready until two hours after check in and was given a single coffee as an apology. I was sent a survey while staying and the survey said that I would be contacted within 2 hours if I had left anything that needed addressing. I was never contacted. I would stay there again with some hesitation. I loved the hotel room and the view but as has been indicated in other reviews from other people, their customer service needs to improve.

Nice central hotel with good staff and amazing views.

We had a room with a great view that looked out onto Tower Bridge and could see the Shard in the background. The hotel is in a great spot for some sightseeing with the Tower of London is just across the road. It was a pretty nice hotel and the breakfast was great.

Went here a good while ago. The hotel is located on a fantastic spot in London. The view on Tower Bridge is absolutely fantastic. Take a room with a view. The breakfast was served in the room on a nice big trolley with silverware. I'm not sure whether they still do that. The walk to the tube station is quite long, but do-able. The Tower Castle is very near and also the beautiful St. Catherine's Docks are just around the corner. The Dicken's Inn is worth a visit. And walk around in the Docks.

Problems with the room initially allocated whereby the view on offer was mainly a brick wall, despite paying for a 'view' which was also 10 minutes walk from reception or at least it seemed. This was resolved at reception desk and we were allocated a much nicer room with a view. Room itself feels a bit dated and was at times really hot...not sure the Aircon on offer was up to much. Location of hotel obviously excellent and staff were friendly, although the cleaner did come in twice whilst we had a do not disturb light on 😳.

I booked for my birthday for a week-end with my husband. The personal was very kind, professional with us.
The breakfast was big and really nice. We enjoyed the peace and the view on the Thames by our window.
Thanks a lot ! We will be back!

Ok, its a bit tired and looking due for a full makeover, but location is great and prices will probably double when/if upgraded. Breakfast cheap enough @ 12:00 pounds, adequate but nothing special. Views from bedrooms are spectacular.
Update: having returned, it seems the whole place is getting a full upgrade. If you plump for the executive rooms you get the full benefit.

It was nice. But we paid for three rooms for four nights. Our friend was about 12 hours late and they RESOLD HER ROOM TO SOMEONE ELSE! There was no where for her to rest after 32 hours of travel. It is not right! The room was hers it was paid for in full and they did not give her any money back!

Staff great. Breakfast best value for money in long time. However organisation of hotel poor. Room never cleaned before 2.30pm without having to complain. Housekeeping very short staffed for number of rooms. Faulty light fitting reported at day of arrival still not fixed at check out 3 days later.

It is a nice hotel which is located in a good place to get around. You have black cabs outside if you need a taxi and the hotel staff are happy to get it all arranged for you. The rooms are nice with an incredible view of tower Bridge and London and the service is great. Overall, this is a really nice hotel.

Nice hotel but poor customer service. During our stay the drains backed up flooding our bathroom after emptying the bath, soaking clothes left in the bathroom. They rectified the fault quickly enough but no one seemed keen on apologising. We looked for help getting the clothes washed and dried but were told this was done externally and not possible before we check out the next day. Such a shame as the room was lovely.

We went there for dinner with a hotel guest, a relative.
Beautiful setting. Overlooking Tower Bridge.
Food was well cooked and presented. Merlot excellent too.
Staff a little too attentive at times. Not a major problem. Thanks all.

Love it. Friendly reception staff. Rooms are a little dated but clean and more than adequate. Great view of the Thames this time. Great view of St Katharines dock last time. I stay here every time I'm in London'. Freshly made omelette for breakfast on order. Good selection of cereal or cooked food otherwise. Lifts can be a bit of a pain sometimes. Close to Tower of London and other sightseeing. 👍

Phenomenal location. Fairly average service. Breakfast could be a lot better.

The rooms are nice. Spacious and clean. Great view and good position, nice front desk staff. But two of the four lifts are not working (still) and so the wait to move floors is longer than it should be. Housekeeping are a bit lax, the ironing board I used two days ago which I collapsed but was in a rush the first day and so didnt put away and then forgot to put away today is still leaning against the wall, I put the iron away last night (Housekeeping didn't bother to yesterday). Tea and coffee isn't replenished and cup still sitting (dirty) next to kettle, yes I can wash this myself tonight, (again was running late this morning when I left so didn't do it) but firstly, I don't work here and secondly it is meant to be a four star hotel, so I did expect it to have been attended to
The attached bar is hopeless and we walked out after waiting for someone to take our drink order for over 15min. Couple at table next to us asked three different waiters where their drink was while we were waiting, they told us they had already waited 15min since ordering, place was about half full.

The room was quite good, but not the best. It didn't have have a mini fridge. However it did have fantastic views, see attached pictures. The price is also good for central London. It is a short trip to the nearest tube station and plenty to see right out the door. Well worth staying here.

Great location. Very large riverside hotel. Bedrooms OK but a little dated and showing signs of many refurbishes. Breakfast OK and quite efficient BUT very busy around the 9am period. Recommended if you want a hotel in this area of London. 10 mins walk to Tower Hill underground.

Really liked the location of the hotel, great river views and of tower Bridge and the Shard. On our arrival we got to experience the euphoria of the London Marathon as the runners went over Tower Bridge. The hotel is so perfectly located as you are within walking distance to all the popular tourist attractions. My room was very comfortable and the views were amazing as I overlooked the yacht. The hotel has excellent conference spaces for events.

Great venue for small events.
Staff are very helpful and exhibition/breakout area is kept clean. Toilets are kept clean too.
Plus the views are great. Better if it's in summer I guess, but as it is January it's keeping the delegates inside for talks and breaks to admire the view from within.

I loved staying here. The exterior of the building is very ugly but the interior is quite fancy and kept very clean. I stayed above level 5, which gave us access to the business lounge, where free breakfast, snacks, and alcohol was provided. This made the price increase well worth it, just for the free food every morning. The staff were all very helpful and willing to fix anything. Location is amazing, ask for a room with a view of the tower bridge. We had a view of the harbor, which was also very beautiful.

Staff excellent, room cleaning not so good

I’ve been to many hotels and I am sure that people who leave good reviews about this one probably had never stayed in a good hotel ever. I was unfortunate to stay here several times for business trip. Had both standard room and executive. Standard rooms are just horrible and require renovation - yellow bathroom and dusty old carpets. Total feeling is like you are literally sleeping under the bridge. Executive suits are fine but tbh this how all normal rooms should look like in a 4 star hotel. The gym is just a joke. Poor internet connection. The whole design of the hotel is really ugly and old. This hotel is totally overrated.

Exellent Hotel. Great location.
If you get a room with a view at tower bridge phenomenal.
The staff at check in/out are very nice and helpful, so are the concierge. Nice bar at the first floor for a late night cap.
Rooms clean and very good beds to sleep in.
Although I missed a pen and paper plus a sewing kit.
We will be back to this hotel for sure
L. H.
Standard room but has everything you need, nothing spectacular but all fine. If you're on the South side of the hotel you might be lucky with a river view, which is really nice. The location is great and improving as they develop the surrounding area with new cafes and restaurants.
