Very friendly staff. Stayed in a room downstairs near reception and the room was very nice. It was clean and comfy and just what we needed as a place to crash while touring London for a few days. 100% recommended this hotel as it is so close to travel for all your London needs. Its also walking distance to near by tourist attractions and sight seeing pleasures. Also there are local food shops and pubs near by so has everything you need. Thank you for a great stay!

I stayed there to write an exam. I reached the hotel an hour early and they were kind enough to wait in the dining room where I could study as no one was there. The check-in was smooth. You need to present the card with pin which you use for booking. I checkout early and they allowed me to leave my luggage at the hotel which I could collect after I finished my exam. Overall, the stay was comfortable and useful to avoid last minute tension of travel, etc. The front receptionist was very kind enough to help me. Thank you.

Great location and super friendly staff. The hotel is a little old and the cleaning could be improved. But it seems like they are currently renovating their rooms to a more modern style which is needed in our opinion. We had a little cute room with balcony. However the balcony door couldn’t close probably but we were warned and they had put in an extra heater which we appreciated as we stayed during December. However it was super great for the price and again super friendly staff:)

It's a budget hotel. It met my expectations based on what I had paid. The room was nicer than the reception/hallway would suggest.
Pros:
* The staff were lovely and helpful
* The location was perfect
* Compared to other photos I can see our room decor was nice and modern
Cons:
* The reception and hallways carpets and walls are filthy
* Although our room looked nice, the carpet was dirty. I put a towel on the carpet and when I picked it up it was hairy, it needs a really good clean.

Thank you for the wonderful stay we had in London! Beds were comfy, towels were fluffy - the train stations were within minutes of walking distance! This hotel is a 5/5 budget hotel, you get more than what you pay for. Excellent staff team and service, we hope to see you again :)

I paid a very small amount for my night in the Victor. I was pleasantly surprised but how lovely it was. It depends what you are looking for. The location and public transport is AMAZING. A quick walk to victoria and the 24 bus which goes to all the main tourist spots. Yes the hotel rooms are a little small and probably need a refurb but if your coming to London for the hotel room then probably stay somewhere else. It was clean, warm and quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable and the reception staff was very friendly. Also something that hasn’t been mentioned a great deal is that it’s FREE parking after Friday 6:30pm for the whole weekend around and outside the hotel street. We got given the basement room which had a small window. We had a tv in our room, a fan, a heater and tea and coffee facilities. As a couple who wanted to be out exploring the room was utterly perfect. We would definitely stay here again and plan to the next time we want a visit as for the price you can not complain.

Very basic but clean. Nice comfy beds. Would stay here again as its close to shops, restaurants, tube and stations.

The room was very tight (you couldn't swing a cat!) bathroom(ette) are small if not claustrophobic. But if it's a place you need to crash for the night I would not, not recommend this place it's basic though budget!

The reception staff (dominicas?) Was super helpful. He came and helped us at 3am when we locked yourself out of our room. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. 10 min walk to Victoria coach station

Easy to find. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Great tips for first time travelers to London. Continental breakfast is modest and tasty. Any issues were taken care of immediately by staff.
Breakfast room is quaint but was never packed to be uncomfortable. Was a good chance to chat to other travelers.

Check in went smoothly, I was checking in pretty late that night. It's in an older building and do have to walk up the stairs to your room. You will notice the floors are pretty squeaky. The room is pretty small but it is adequate and is clean as is the bathroom. I was only staying the night so it fit my needs.

Fantastic value for money. Small rooms, but then it's only to sleep after a busy day!

Exceptional hotel in Zone 1 of London. I got a last minute reservation for a good price. Room is clean, tidy, and cosy.. Reception staff are impeccable.

I cannot help but liking The Victor Hotel, in spite of the fact that it is definitely NOT for persons of any girth. The rooms are small, the bathrooms even smaller (though the shower was ample enough). The rooms facing the street are bright and cheerful, and there was surprisingly not a lot of noise from the charming neighborhood at any time of the day or night. Many have complimented the outgoing, friendly and very professional demeanor of the staff. Nimesh and his crew could not have been more helpful and we thank them for their hospitality. In spite of the cramped quarters (back home we experience many similar hotels in large U.S. cities, so it is no fault of London nor a particularly special case to single out), the Victor Hotel is an excellent location between Victoria Station (good for early breakfast away from the hotel) and Pimlico Underground station. Bus 24 stops across from the hotel and will take the visitor directly to Central London and all the great attractions, though one will not run out of things to see as well as places to eat in the area of the City of Westminster. Highly recommended!
