A. G.Room was very comfortable and all the bits and bobs you should expect, location was great. The staff although polite were poor, they had no knowledge of the wines they sell, we asked for a Shiraz and that had no idea what it was, if they had it or where to find it. They said they had ran out of cocktails…. But suspect the only person who knows how to make one wasn’t there, this was a Saturday night…. They made mistakes taking payments, tried to charge £48 for a glass of wine, the guy had no idea he was charging me for the bottle. Only when I questioned it and the manager came over was resolved. The reception-breakfast area felt more like a cheap cafe with expensive prices.. They don’t even have to ability to make a couple of rounds of toast for breakfast…. Instead only pre-made items warmed up In a subway type oven. I don’t mind the prices but was expecting something a little better for the price of the room. We were conned into signing up for their spam email shots. It was nice to have the room upgraded to one with a small window…. So we thought…. We were given a disability room where everything was much lower which although is not much of an issue, I felt we were bullied into accepting what was best for them and not the guest
I Would suggest that this place would benefit from some well trained experienced staff, not what is there at the moment.. If they sort out the staffing and service this could be a great place.
S. W.Great location. Compact and comfy room and bed (although pillows could have been more comfortable) for 1 person for 2 nights stay (with majority of time during the day spent outside in the city). Good shower too and cleanliness was good.

The room was small and the bed was a little uncomfortable, there was no curtain or blind to close, but we weren't overlooked anyway.
The bathroom is a glass cubicle which leaves little to the imagination if you are sharing with someone!

C.Small room, but modern, clean, and great location. 'Lower ground floor' room turned out to be the basement. No window room was cosy, but air con locked to 17 degrees as a minimum left it feeling stuffy. Had a silverfish visitor in the night. Turns out insects don't respect 'do not disturb' signs!
G.Perfect location and room was very cosy and modern. Room was smaller than expected (can make the bathroom situation awkward). Overall would stay again and price was great. Very affordable and would recommend 👍🏽
K. M.This is a boutique hotel with clean, modern rooms. You couldn’t ask for a better location - it’s within a 10 minute walk of almost anything you’ll want to see when out sightseeing, a 5 minute walk to the underground and surrounded by great restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to get an early check-in the first day, and we were able to store our bags the last day after check-out.
The only downside is that the rooms are REALLY small, but that’s common for the area so it’s no different than any other hotel you’d get. If you have small luggage (we didn’t), you should be fine. However, any large suitcases will create problems for you.

Breakfast is no buffet... just something highpriced from the Menu. How about Oyou clean the oven? Everything leaves a burned taste in the mouth tbh. Also for "that breakfast" its OVERPRICED - Join Pauls for breakfast... its nice(r) there....

D. O. '.I'm writing from the hotel, 2 night stay for my birthday..location is brilliant, so central, the room, although "compact" and windowless the room is comfortable and well equipped
Now for the downside
£15 for a lukewarm pizza that tasted like a tesco pizza... we are in the basement, the restaurant is above us, the noise of chairs banging and scraping almost drove me mad, I've just called reception to be told, the restaurant closes at 10 so will be quiet soon, and we can talk about it tomorrow, but for these two minor infractions, I would definately book again, but NOT IN THE BASEMENT

One big disappointment was lack of room cleaning during a two night stay - left me coming back late with no clean towels. If this wasn’t included, I certainly wasn’t told!

E. C.We have stayed in 4 other z hotels over the last 5 years so we thought we would try the Z Hotel Covent Garden. We went for the Queen room and the manager offered us a room with a bigger window which was much appreciated. Unfortunately due to covid the cheese and wine was not available but we did have breakfast which was very disappointing with only a bacon roll and coffee offered. All of the staff were very friendly apart from Christian who did not smile all the time we dealt with him and all the things we asked him which were not big issues by any means seemed to be very inconvenient to him. We have enjoyed our time here but we will no be returning as the staff have not been as welcoming as the piccadilly z hotel.
r. r.The staff were very helpful and friendly , the room I stayed in was very clean , with all the expected facilities. The TV was big !!but fabulous. The area was very convenient for tubes restaurants pubs shops. I will definitely be staying in a z hotel again . There was a limited breakfast service cos of the pandemic, but there's a lovely breakfast bar next door called Paul's , which I recommend!

A. F.Lovely hotel in a very convenient location for the theatre district. The rooms are very compact but sufficient for two people. Staff were very helpful and accomodating, and the hotel offers complimentary cheese & wine from 5pm in the bar area! My only criticism of our particular room was the tea and coffee facilities... mainly the kettle. The kettle is screwed to a Corby tray and isn't easily moved. The only plugs in the room were on the bedside table that the tray couldn't fit on, or a single plug by the door which required the tray being held while standing. Overall a nice stay and will be back.

S. P.Arrived and was created by a friendly reception who told me I had been upgraded to a bigger room. When I got to my room I was struggling to see how it was a bigger room as to me it was an average size. Room was clean. Bed although too firm for my liking was comfortable. There was a issue with the tv whereby the programme guide was an hour behind the actual time which was a bit confusing. Breakfast has a good selection of pastries, cereals, juice and hot drinks. The hotel is in a great location with loads of cafes and restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend for a short stay

R. S.The best value hotel chain in London. For little more than a premier inn or other budget brand you get a great bed with usb points in the bed head. Free wine and cheese on arrival 5pm - 7pm. Reasonably priced continental breakfast. Super friendly staff. Entrance of this hotel is behind a gate off the road, but just keep a look out for the signs.
R. R.The staff was incredibly friendly, the room was clean, the location was perfect and it was pretty quite for a room in the city. Only gripe was the AC filter needs to be cleaned. We woke up everyday with stuffy runny noses, and needed to buy meds to treat that. But luckily the Tesco was right across the street.

M. K.Great location that is close to the Covent Garden Mall area and other public transportation that serves a decent breakfast and has an included wine and cheese (and some other tapas) from 5-8 PM. The beds and rooms are comfortable.
We were lucky enough to be put in a handicapped room, so we didn't have any space complaints like others. Our room was reasonably spacious and the bathroom was, too. However, looking at the fire emergency plan map on our I can see how small the other rooms appeared to be.
The toughest part for us was getting from the airport here as we had to transfer trains a couple times with big luggage, and the station we ended up at didn't have an elevator in it so we had to carry them all the way back up to the top.
R. R.Very good location. The room has everything for self-catering (fridge, kettle, microwave, dishes), which saves the budget. In addition to the noise from the engine, nothing else bothers - the hotel is in the center, but on a quiet street. Fresh towels and soap daily.

S. W.Hotel is very clean and modern. Location is fantastic. Only thing I don’t like is the smell of the air refresher they used here... it has very strong chemical smell n we had to ask no room service....other things are all PERFECT.

N. R.I can't recommend this hotel enough to folk wanting to stay in the hub of the action that is Covent Garden. Our room was exceptionally comfortable and well planned . The room was only outshone by the fantastic service and attentive staff who were also very kind . The wine and cheese soiree was excellent , as was the night's sleep that followed it . We'll plan our visits to London around the availability of that particular suite in future.

M. C.Excellent stay. Family room very small but you have evrything you need. Hair dryer, cofee, chocolate and tea facilities, with à glass bottle of water, glasses and cups. 2 big tvs with around 100 channels and lots of moovies, shampoo and soap, 2 160 cm beds with comfort pillows and nice bed linen. Shower is efficient, towels are big and of good quality. The staff israélien efficient, pro active and welcoming. The breakfast room is nice, with heigh ceilings. Full breakfast option is good value for money. You can choose à hot option: bacon, egg saussage in a bun, or pots with egg and avocado, or egg and salmon. The healthy buffet is nice, with fruit salad, 2 choices of juice, bread, exoresso coffee, jams, cereals, croissants and chocolatines, yoghurt from 5 pm to 8, you can eat cheese and drink wine freely. It is wonderful. You have a great selection of 3 or 4 cheeses from UK, like Cheddar or Stilton. 4 red wines and 4 white wines to choose from. Shiraz and Viognier are nice.
The location of the hotel is fantastic. You can walk evrywhere you need to go! .
