I and my friend were so lucky to find and book at this wonderful hotel during the late-night as they had limited spaces available however I had been well informed by hotel staff to make a visit to get a room so we did.
The staff at the hotel are very welcoming, friendly and kind with smiles on their faces so they do make others feel happy at this hotel for sure as well we had a very great room in a style that was stylish and comfortable for staying- great TV, good bathroom/ toilet facility in a room with hairdryer, towels etc for everyone, bunker, beds based on lower and upper part in the room and panels with lights/ aircon close to it.
Comfy sleeping in the clean and relaxing room!
The little problem was that room doesn't contain a lot of daylight due to small windows also not a lot of meals are available for breakfast or lunch at the cafe but nothing to really complain about.
We were lucky to stay there for a decent and cheap price just for 1 night, so hopefully, this hotel will be visited again if we will be around it.

Good location but the below ground room we had caused us to hear trains going past in the early hours.
Also there is a bright green light permanently on in the ceiling very near the bed. We hate light at night and that wasn't ideal for us...reception said it's a standard emergency light but I haven't had that problem in any other hotel.
The pillows were also weird. Very narrow, high, and very firm.
All in all a bad nights sleep!
M. G.Z hotels are perfect for super short stays. This one has a much better cafe next to reception with ports for charging. As usual the rooms are modern, wooden floors and clean. Helpful, super friendly staff. Would stay here again.
B.Beautiful hotel and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are quaint and immaculate. Really good for business travel. We were travelling with a small baby and the staff were very accommodating in getting us in and out. Would definitely stay here again.
Z. N.Amazing location, fun staff with an easygoing vibe. Hotel is modern (and also smells great, they must be using some kind of parfume), and so is the room. Was small (which everyone is aware at the booking) but immaculate and very modern, perfect for a work trip. Only thing I missed was a real desk to work at, there would have been space for it in my room. Bed was comfy and had a quiet sleep, no complaints. Since I was travelling alone I didn't care, but the toilet snd bathroom are only separated by a frosted glass, so there might be some scenarios when someone could be bothered by that. Looked great nevertheless.

A. W.Clean, all the amenities and friendly staff. But I’m afraid this doesn’t make up for failing to disclose my room was in the basement right above a Tube line. Main success factor for a hotel is a good night’s sleep. I didn’t get that sadly.

G. M.Great location and staff were friendly enough. Glass of wine was average price for the area, shame a 12.5% service charge was added and nothing verbally was mentioned. No wine/ cheese Friday 🥺. Room was a bit pokey but clean and comfortable enough. To be honest, without the wine and cheese, it was a bit over priced for what you get compared to other budget brands.

The breakfast is very basic (a bacon or egg role, or a croissant) so give that a miss and go to the Grind or Serata down the road.
k. p.One of my new favorite hotels!! Staff was absolutely amazing, especially Kamil! They all went above and beyond to try to help me! My room had a lot of space, huge TV and the best part were the 25 ft windows looking down on the london streets! Loved waking up to the view, yet it was sooo quiet! Their breakfast is a good way to start the day and I loved that they had food ready to serve til 11pm! Great location, can't beat it!! Def book with them!!

T. S.I stayed here 1 night a while ago and everything was great. The room was quite small and had no windows but I had everything I needed and it was all very high quality (sheets, big comfy bed, good shower, nice toiletries ...) and good value. My favourite part was the complimentary wine tasting, I was very impressed and would stay again if they keep that up. Staff was friendly. Location was also perfect and the reason I chose this hotel initially, just a minute from Old Street Station.

f.Be prepared for a super modern city hotel. The space is quite limited but the bed was comfy, the bathroom is not private at all but the large bath towels were a luxury and the overall stay is great for any business trip. Great location - close to some great restaurants and bars and also Old St tube station.

B.I must admit I didn't stay there but I had a chance to visit the hotel when my long lost sister stayed there, I had recommended it to her from the reviews I had read, she had come down from Scotland to combine two visits, to stay for s couple of days with a friend she has known from her teens and meet up for my birthday, the hotel was a quiet oasis on the busy old street roundabout, a perfect place to spend a night or two, my sister had booked a double room because she is used to a double bed and has more elbow room than a single, the room reminded me of a sleeping compartment on a train, compact and efficiently laid out, good sized bed, bathroom with separate walk in shower, good sized TV, tes and coffee making provided, and the benefit of air conditioning, the room had a window to provide light but had a blind partly drawn and was double glazed so you don't have to see or hear the traffic outside, we had our reunion that night at the Cote Barbican restaurant and caught up on the lost years that had happened because distance and time have a way of separating people without you realising it, this is a great hotel to stay if you want to stay for a night or two on the edge of the city of London.
V. 2.Decent and clean rooms. A little bit on the small side and no windows but cheap and cheerful.

We stayed here for one night and its only a minute walk away from Old street tube station which was perfect. They have complementary cheese and wine from 5pm to 8pm which we thought was a lovely touch and we enjoyed before we went to the theatre. The staff were very friendly and helpful , would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff is very friendly, the rooms are a bit small, but perfectly fine if you are on a city trip and don't spend much time there anyway.
They have a very modern vibe, the glass bathroom takes a bit of getting used to though, if you are not travelling alone.
There contemporary Cheese, Wine and Ice-cream every evening from 5-8pm, also worth a quick trip back to the hotel.
The location is also very nice. Only a short walk to the nearest subway and bus station and lots of good places to eat and drink around, for every time of the day.
M.Nice little hotel in great London neighbourhood. Rooms are a little small (which is quite typical for London hotels) but is very modern and cozy, our room was in the basement and we could even hear the underground distantly(not loud enough to disturb us). Staff were nice and they even offered a free wine and cheese bar. Rooms also had a kettle with teas, coffee and hot chocolate. We were really impressed, only complaint is the bathroom was a little too small, but a minor issue. We will likely return here next time we are in London, the Old street area is great.
L. L.Great, great location and clean. Rooms are smaller than typical which was expected based on advertising. The room was cleaned every day I requested it cleaned. Breakfast was pretty good as well. One complaint is that the hotel has no facecloths, just medium and large towels. In addition, when I asked for an extra roll of toilet paper, I was told housekeeping was gone for day and was asked if I needed a towel lol. Luckily I am a resourceful person and was able compensate for that. I have stayed in many hotels and that was a first. Anyway it was a pretty good stay despite a couple of hiccups.
D.Great hotel, rooms are small and can be claustrophobic if you take one of the interior rooms.
I was in the basement and you could hear the Northern line deep below rumbling, also drilling from work on the underground too. However I was pretty drunk after the office party so fell asleep quite easily 😉

M. S.Cheap. Decent quality. Good beds. Be warned that you can hear the tube trains going past in the basement rooms. Not loud but audible enough. And you can't turn the emergency lights off in the windowless rooms, leaving you to sleep bathed in an eerie green glow.
J. K.The room was very modern, contrary to most English rooms. Even though the room was very small (choice), it didn't lack any comforts. I really loved the "Coffee in a Bag', they provided us with in our room. Between 5pm and 8pm there was always free wine, cheese and other nice food. The personnel was really kind, they were from around the globe, but all spoke English well enough. It was quite handy that it is positioned this close to the metro station. Beautiful area.
N. R.The room itself was great and clean. It had modern electrical controls and decor. We paid extra for a "window room" so we would have a great view of the city and requested a higher floor. They gave us an underground room with the window we paid extra for. Kinda felt like we got ripped off in that way, but otherwise, a great location for Shoreditch goers.

Hotel staff were excellent and friendly. Free wine, cheese and chocolate every night. Great rooms, very clean and comfy. I would definitely stay here again! The rooms are small and ideal for couples staying for a week or less, everything you'll ever need is right here. No issues with noise and very modern. The Americano coffee in the morning is the best I've ever tasted. - Not from the machine, ask them to make you one..;-)
P. L.Good points: got room upgraded from windowless to windowed for free. Room was nice overall and clean. Staff were nice and helpful.
Bad points: Shower head was broken and wouldn't stay in place. Breakfast - Avocado and poached egg pot was not nice at all. Check in was slow as there was only one person dealing with check ins so the queue was slow going.
Would probably book with them again if the price was right, but would definitely avoid that breakfast pot!

Very small rooms, tiny, fine for one night, but the bathroom is tiny, however the shower is lovely.
I was down in the basement rooms, so I knew I had no window. But the noise from the northern line tube is a little annoying from about 6am
I. K.Location is very strategic, close to old st tube station. If you're planning to go around EC, this hotel could probably be it. Buses will take you to the city or to King's cross easily.
Room is excellent. Clean and comfortable, with some modern touches here and there.
A lovely stay. I think they have free afternoon cocktails too which we sadly missed. Would definitely return if I'm visiting EC1 again.
J. P.You either love or hate this place: the rooms are tiny, but are clean, modern and provide everything you need for a quick layover. They've basically fitted the shower inside the room with glass walls separating the two. For me this was fine, but the noise isolation between the rooms could be better which is why I don't give the full five stats. Complimentary WiFi in the rooms as well as wine and cheese serving in the evenings.
A. ..This well positioned hotel offers great value for money for such a good location if you don't mind a few compromises.
The budget rooms are very small, with just enough room for a double bed, desk and shower/WC. A large TV sits at the foot of the bed offering a generous selection of Sky channels. The rooms also have no windows as many are below street level. This is clearly specified on their website but some other reviewers seem not to have noticed.
All areas of the hotel were compact but furnished to a good, modern standards. They even provide a free wine and cheese session each day which was an unexpected bonus.
We enjoyed a quiet and relaxing night's stay here. As some have said, the shower is not that warm and the room did get quite warm without the air con on.
N. R.Really enjoyed my stay here! Wasn't sure what to expect as it was a surprise weekend trip away, but I really was happy on most counts.
The room was fantastic value for money given its great location, which is just a few minutes from Old Street station and a large number of great places to eat morning, noon or night.
We were welcomed warmly by the friendly staff, and almost immediately told that there was free wine & cheese in the downstairs bar/restaurant, which we were more than happy to take advantage of! It got a little busy, so I'd say this area is somewhat cramped given the size of the hotel, but if you're early, it really is a great touch.
The room itself was modern and clean, though maybe not ideal for couples given the transparent window into the toilet/shower - might be worth checking up before booking if at all worried. Also, I didn't think I'd be saying it but the TV was perhaps too big, but as there was free Sky access as well as plenty of the television apps you might be used to at home, I was happy to watch it!
Next time I think I'd try a room with a view as almost everything else was pretty spot on - definitely recommend, particularly if you think you might want to explore Shoreditch.
G. B.This is our second visit to London and this hotel. We cannot vouch for this hotel enough. Staff have always been friendly and attentive. The rooms are compact but are exactly what you need for a city break. The real jewel though is the wine and cheese which are served every evening. A perfect way to end a busy day!

It has all mod cons - full Sky TV, touch screen lighting and heat controls, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, high speed internet and complimentary wine on arrival. So far so good. But, there is a catch. The room is tiny. Think of a small room, then half it, half it again. Yes, it's that small. You REALLY have to like the person you are staying with. Also, the bathroom has a frosted glass partition, which is more or less see through. This is a disturbing modern trend... Please, please, please, hotel people, can you find it in your hearts to bring back good, sturdy, old fashioned walls? Lots of love, Jack. X

The room is very thought through, for example they have plenty of power plugs including a Central Europe socket. Nice TV with music streaming services, very good WiFi, nice coffee too in the rooms. Small room but packed with technology. The free drinks and cheese between 5 and 8 are very good for socialising with other visitors. Very solid choice of wine and cheese too. I can recommend it to everyone.

A. K.I am just finishing a 3-night stay here. I am very pleased with all aspects, including the price. My room is modern, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Twice, the complementary wine, cheese, crackers, bread, olives, fruit, and chocolate, offered in the lobby in the evening, constituted my dinner.
K. W.A great hotel for the budget shopper, though be warned that the rooms are very small! If you're fine with that, then it's a great modern feel. Note that this is the bare necessities, but there are things like an iron you can ask for that the desk brings up to you. The only reason we didn't mark it as a 5 star was because we had leaking shower issues, but the entire bathroom was capable of getting wet with no ramifications, so it didn't ruin anything, just was an annoyance.

The room I got didn’t have curtains / blinds and there was a giant lit up billboard outside which woke me up the whole night. Not for me. It’s a dressed up road lodge.

If you want to spend time in the hotel, maybe book a bigger room. The staff is very nice and obviously want you to have a nice stay. The Breakfast is simple but complete.

The rooms are very small but very modern and functional. You get a nice big bed, a sleek bathroom, air conditioning, a nightstand, good internet and a big TV. Yes admittedly the rooms are tinyyyy, but we did read about the room sizes before so prepared for it.
That said, apart from that there is little to fault at the Z Hotel. It's in a great location so trendy food and drink places are a common sight, whilst old Street station is only a few hundred yards away so quick links to everywhere else too.
The rooms are modern with everything you need from tea and coffee making facilities, a really good hairdryer and toiletries available. Another nice touch is a bottle of water in the room free of charge which the hotel happily replenish whenever asked.
My only advice would be to share a room with someone your very close to! The bathrooms are only separated by a thin fogged glass wall and so you can see and hear quite a bit. However going with a loved one, I'm sure you're used to it!
Another great feature is that the rooms have large tvs with all sky TV channels! Real nice touch!
A real highlight is the free wine and cheese from 5-8pm daily for hotel guests! This was a great feature and made the stay that much more special. A really good selection of wines and cheeses and a relaxing environment to have them.
All in all yes the rooms are small but if you can deal with that then it's well worth a visit! We will return for sure!

I've also spent the night in one of their rooms. Both experiences I was humbled by a peaceful and courteous atmosphere.

M. H.Excellent choice if you are visting London, you can get a great deal on a room with no windows. This is not an issue as Shoreditch isn't much to look at anyway. You are a few steps away from Old Street tube so no problem getting around, its on the Northern Line so you can quickly connect to anywhere, it's also part of a complex of restaurants, cafes so great for that. Modern rooms, free Sky TV and SKY sports etc. Free internet. My favorite part is the free wine and charcuterie every night, great quality and the wines surprisingly very good. Non guests pay 19.95 for this. Great staff. Highly recommend it.

An sich ein gutes Hotel. Das Personal ist echt nett und das Hotel ist sauber. Mein Zimmer hatte 2 Fenster die aber nicht auf gehen. Das Bett ist sehr bequem. Das Badezimmer war auch ganz in Ordnung außer das Waschbecken welches nicht abzog. Dusche ist top. An sich kann man nix sagen.

Ein wirklich schönes Hotel in toller Lage. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Käse/Weinbuffet ist ein Geschenk des Hauses an seine Gäste und total super. Kleiner Minuspunkt: Da die Zimmer ja teilweise keine Fenster haben, läuft natürlich auch in der Nacht die Lüftung. Diese kann recht laut werden und die Gefahr einer Erklärung ist nicht zu unterschätzen. Alles in allem handelt es sich jedoch um eine gute Unterkunft zu einem fairen Preis. Wir würden uns wieder für das Hotel entscheiden.

El trato que nos dieron fue excelente.
Incluso tuvimos un pequeño problema de ruido con el aire acondicionado y nos cambiaron de habitación regalándonos una botellita de vino.
Por la tarde había una degustación de quesos y vinos gratis que estaba genial.
Las habitaciones son pequeñitas pero para ser Londrés están genial, reformadas recientemente, con todo lo necesario y muy limpias.
La ubicación perfecta , el barrio ofrece muchas cosas , es una zona donde salir a tomar algo y está muy bien comunicado tanto con el metro como con el bus. ( A la vuelta de la esquina ).
Sin duda volvería y lo recomiendo.

Cada cual con lo que pueda costearse, pero mejor esto que otros que son antiguos y con chinches. Excellent hôtel idéalement situé, à seulement 100 mètres de la station Old Street, on relie toutes les principales attractions de Londres en moins de 20 minutes. Chambre propre, literie correcte, personnel accueillant, parfait !
Seule la salle de bains et un peu étroite, mais ça fait le job pour quelques nuits.
Le service de bagagerie est un vrai plus.
