Super tiny rooms, almost pod hotel in size. The cheaper rooms have no windows. However the price and location are great, the rooms are clean and modern and the staff are friendly and helpful. If you are alone or a couple and just need a place to sleep while you explore the city this is perfect. Maybe not so much for families.

Rooms were too small, showers a complete see trough from the bed, very noisy, breakfast not good (no buffet, 5 pounds for a croissant). I still give 3 stars for the amazing location, the friendly staff and the cleanliness.

The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. We enjoy the quirky tiny room experience. We've been staying at Z Hotel Soho for the last 5 or 6 years and rave about it, recommending to anyone visiting London. Sadly, the complimentary wine and cheese evenings have been suspended (presumably due to Covid) - such a shame, this was a huge part of our stay here and what really made the hotel stand out from the rest. I'll check before I book next time rather than find out at check in, and it's unlikely we'll return until they are happening again.

Amazing location for seeing Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Literally right next to the Theater! And a lot of other major sites (like the British museum and National Gallery) are less than 10 minutes away walking. The hotel was also really flexible in rescheduling our reservation that was cancelled due to covid.
The rooms are SMALL. I thought I was prepared for it but just finding a spot to put our luggage where we wouldn’t trip over it was difficult. I also just didn’t feel like the cleaning was great. For example, the bed headboard was a pretty dusty.
Overall it was fine for two nights but I wouldn’t book a long stay here.

Exactly what we needed and paid for. Price was to be expected for central London and right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Though very little storage and walking space for the price.
Room was very cosy with not many hooks to hang cloths or even towels.
At least bed was comfortable and we got good nights (x2) sleep.
D. L.
Very, very compact room. Shower didn't work well. Room was clean and location was very central, but don't expect to get two people in a double room.

Spent Friday night in Soho with my husband and our closest friend and stayed the night at Z hotel. The hotel was absolutely stunning. Clean, comfortable and the staff were outstanding, in particular Silvia who was warm, professional and made us feel so welcome. I will definitely be staying at the Z hotel again. Excellent rooms and so quiet for the heart of London. I highly recommend.
J.
Comfortable small hotel rooms and decent pricing for central London, extremely dusty rooms and the beds are like rocks but for the price in central London can't really complain.
غ.
Small rooms, slow room service and bars under the hotel you cant sleep until 2 am but it has central location everything us nearby. Good if you’re on a budget
A. M.
Had a great stay here for three nights. The room (single one) possessed all the amenities you need to spend a great night. Definitely recommend!
E.
Clean hotel very central friendly staff but the rooms are like a shoebox. Not great if you want to stay multiple days as room can’t even fit a suitcase in.
R. S.
Extremely cost effective, clean and location to die for. Bed reasonably comfortable and staff were super friendly.
The rooms are small but not claustrophobic. The showers have no curtains ( at least mine didn't), so water spills out of the shower area. However, I am sure had I told staff they would have dried it. As I was staying the one night it did not matter. For any single traveller I would recommend this.
J. K.
Very convenient. Tiny rooms. Don’t expect to swing any cats.
M.
I've stayed here the last 3 weeks for work. Showers are great and they have all the sky channels. But rooms are small, not much space to store gear and beds are firm, so not everyone will have a good night's sleep. I did get an upgrade to a bigger room, so thank you.
K. T.
I ended up not staying at the Z Hotel Soho (for reasons that had nothing to do with the hotel itself) so I cannot comment on the rooms themselves.
Customer service (in person at the reception and on the phone) was impeccable though. A quick and very friendly answer to all of our questions.
M. F.
Nice location, neat interior, decent service as for B&B hotel. Great value for money.
A. P.
We have never stayed in a hotel that is better situated than this one. Right in the centre of all the brilliant attractions of Soho and 5 minutes walk from covent garden. If you are a party animal or a day tripper then this is your hotel.
N. A.
Adam in the reception is such a lifesaver! He helped me to get my forgotten bag with my medicine in it to the train station on time, before missing my train. Thank you The Z Hotel for having Adam!
S. G.
OK, but not same level as Z st Covent Garden or Lowe Regent.
Very nice and helpful staff
t.
We had the compact room. Was only £50 a night.
Great location
Very very clean
Contemporary.
Modern
All the things you need. Hairdryer. Tea coffee. Towels. Bottled water and sky tv with free WiFi
S. B.
Second time I've stayed here and they are just as good as the first time I stayed. Friendly, clean and very helpful. Couldn't ask for more.
Y. Z.
good position - nice but very small rooms
T. S.
Rock hard bed and the shower goes all over the en suite area. Not the standard I expected from Z hotels, usually much better
J. T.
Amazing to wake up right in the middle of London. Walked to the cinema. Found a brilliant place for breakfast in the morning. Room was compact and clean. Good sized TV. Hot water all the time. There needs to be a way to black out the glass surround for the loo and shower. Go on your own or with someone who knows you well. Staff were pleasant and efficient and Covid rules were followed.

I love Z hotel as a brand and idea, and I’ve stayed in around 5 different ones (including Liverpool and Glasgow).
However I found the Soho branch to be disappointing compared to others. For example, we tend to book a room with a window, whether a queen or double room. The “inside” rooms can feel claustrophobic at times.
The window in our Soho room was absolutely tiny and it seemed pointless paying for such an upgrade given the laughable size of this hatch (seems more appropriate a name given its size - see my photo).
The room was an odd shape but I think this can be a quirk of the Z hotels when they try to be effective with their tiny spaces - it’s luck of the draw. Strangely our bathroom was nearly as big as the small bedroom itself.
Other than this the hotel seemed good and is consistent with the wider Z brand. Good staff and the excellent urban compact rooms.

I really liked this location and found that getting around to all of the places I wanted to visit was simple. We arrived in the late morning and our room was available for check-in which was very convenient and appreciated. The staff went above and beyond for our anniversary and provided us with balloons and a nice dessert upon check-in! The room was small, but it was efficient. The hotel is modern and stylish and we certainly enjoyed the happy hour that is complimentary with your stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay here again in the future!

Very comfy bed great location, recommended!

Stayed here for a long weekend recently. Small but functional room that served our needs perfectly. More than reasonably priced and will definitely be coming back!
S. S.
Overall good experience. Yes, the room is very, very small (I know what I got myself into) but it was clean. Location wise - perfect. There’s so many things to do nearby, so many options for food and well connected public transportation route. If I want to stay right smack in the city, I will pick this place again.
But if you need space, or claustrophobic - might want to really check the description of the room. I stayed in the single room, basically the toilet is right smack next to your bed (think a slightly bigger capsule hotel in Japan). There’s tv and tea/coffee in the room.

Great Place to get a sleeping Place right in the middle of Soho, very small rooms, still very nice!
R. T.
We booked into the Z hotel and and room was tiny so we upgraded to one of the apartments and could not complain. its probably not for anyone who struggles with stairs etc. We were very impressed with the free wine and cheese in the evenings before we set off into town. and the location was the best for London as we have stayed many, many times before but this was so central for the shopping, theatres, tourist spots and bars.. we will definitely revisit this hotel.
M.
Very clean and worth every penny. It's just a very unique place. The decoration is simple, lots of white walls, very good last minute prices and for that location their process are reasonable. The evening serving of free wine cheese and grapes is a fantastic touch. The staff so far are in my opinion very helpful and polite. This hotel has a very good and innovative concept. Well done to the owners and their lovely team.
H. B.
Booked a room at the Z Hotel based on recommendations from friends and I’m happy I did! Rooms are on the smaller size but for the price and location I didn’t mind at all! Oxford Street, Trafalgar Square, and the tube station are all in walking distance. I was concerned that it would be noisy at night because of the busy area but I didn’t hear a peep. Staff were lovely and friendly and there is complimentary wine and cheese each evening. I would stay here again :)
K. W.
Basic, but great quality, comfortable rooms. Perfect for an overnight stay near theatres etc. Nice shower cubicle / wetroom, complimentary teas coffees etc.
There is also a nice and peaceful courtyard which makes you forget you're in the busy hustle and bustle of London.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. The free wine and cheese is an awesome touch!
D. S.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room is functional for a short stay but make sure you like the people you're staying with. We had a double room with a (pointless) window and it was very compact to say the least. My wife and I work well together so could juggle the constant and it was constant "You want to go here? OK, let me move there first", during our overnight stay. It could be likened to a cabin on a boat in terms of space.
The location of the hotel is amazing. A few minutes walk from Leicester Square tube station and less than 1-minute walk to Prince Edward theater (which is why we stayed). As you should expect for the area, there was lots of choice with regard to places to eat/drink in close proximity.
One significant bonus to this hotel is the free cheese and wine selection between 5-8pm. There was an good array of different cheeses, breads, chutneys, chocolate & fruit, and the wine was flowing - if our glasses we half full then the amazing waiting team topped them up.
While I cannot comment on the quality of the food as we already had a table booked elsewhere, the prices and choice looked very reasonable.
If you're looking for a clean, functional place to stay in Soho, Z Hotels is the place to be.

The Z Hotel Soho is my favorite hotel in London.
The first and best reason to stay there is for its amazing location. The Z Hotel is in the heart of Soho, and in close walking distance to practically everything you could want to experience in London. Whether it's historical attractions like Parliament or Westminster, or the bars and clubs (especially gay bars and clubs) like Heaven or Village, or the shops such as the ones along or near Regent St., or restaurants, whether Indian like Dishoom or the ones in Chinatown, or museums like the National Gallery or the British Museum, or of course, the theater, you could literally spend a week at the Z Hotel and never have to bother taking a bus, metro or taxi and simply walk to all the fun nearby attractions.
Putting the location aside, I am also a fan of their rooms. Now there rooms are small. But the quality is great, the furnishings are comfortable, and the bathrooms are excellently designed. And let's be honest, you probably wouldn't be spending that much time inside the room anyway, not if you're staying in Soho given how much there is to do all evening long.
I would strongly recommend the Z Hotel to anyone interested in staying in London. The combination of the service, ambiance, amenities, rooms, and most of all, the location, makes the Z Hotel an excellent (and reasonably priced) choice as a place to stay during your trip.
T. F.
Very central location, friendly staff and quirky layout. Room was clean and comfortable, on the small side but not tiny. I just missed out on the free wine and cheese - make sure you arrive before 8pm! They gave me a complimentary glass of wine regardless though. Would definitely return.
N. C.
Superb as always. As a frequent business traveller, I am looking for somewhere in a good location to relax after work. The staff at the Z are exceptional, so friendly and do everything for you. The complimentary benefits are very welcome - complimentary Cheese and Wine between 5-8pm (I think?). With a good selection too! And the rooms are spotlessly clean, with a full Sky TV package (including Movies and Sports). One point to note for new people staying - the rooms are very compact and they are designed as such. If you want a large space for a room, or if you are sharing, bare that in mind. The Z is great value for what you get in London and I recommend it highly.
R. T.
Gets the job done, room was alot smaller than expected and for some reason the door to the toilet/shower is frosted so people can see right in
S. S.
I chose this hotel mainly for its location. The walking distance from the Underground is great and you are in the heart of Soho with many great restaurants around and pubs. The rooms, as it mentions on the site, are small but very nice. I felt comfortable in my room despite the size. My only complaint is that the shower did not stay warm and would continuously go from warm to cool to slightly warm to cold within a matter of seconds.
T. J.
Great location in the middle of soho, definitely would recommend this place for the money it costs, lovely staff very helpful definitely would stay here again. Rooms have sky tv what’s very good.
K. E. (.
Great location reasonable price, rooms are small but clean
C. O.
After staying at the Z Hotel in Covent Garden I was expecting similar however the rooms are, in my opinion, a bit too small. There was hardly any space to stand up and the low ceilings add to the feeling of claustrophobia. Despite this, the beds are comfortable and the room itself was very clean. The complimentary wine and cheese every evening is never a disappointment.
s. z.
Good location in the center of soho neighborhood. Friendly staff, very small rooms. Good for stay up to 3 nights maximum.
C. N.
Great for a night or two. Fab location.
J. L.
Nicely located boutique Hotel in the heart of Soho. Near theatres, restaurants, shops and walking distance from major attractions including the London Eye, Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace. The hotel rooms are small, but have necessary amenities. There is no phone, no room service. Small cafe with coffee, tea and light food. My room and bedding was a little dirty, heating didn't work but it may have been slated for a renovation. Update: I stayed a second time in a different room and it was clean, modern and comfortable.
M. W.
The best hotels. Always so clean and great welcoming friendly staff.
J. W.
Great location near theaters and nightlife and Piccadilly underground line. Friendly and efficient staff. Our room was very, very small, which was ok because we really just wanted a safe/clean/comfortable/affordable place to walk back to from the nightlife (and that it was). But I didn't love that our toilet was literally inches from the pillows on the bed, separated by a frosted glass barrier (if you're sharing the room make sure it's someone you are really comfortable with). Our room also lacked a window, which made it difficult for my jet-lagged body to figure out when it was morning and how to find my way around the room once the lights were off.
A. O.
This is a great hotel, the staff are so friendly and helpful, yes the rooms are small but location far out weighs that. We went to see Harry Potter the theatre is literally a stones throw away so handy as you see this show in two parts. Free wine and Cheese between 5 and 8 is also fantastic we even got free ice cream . There is loads of bars and restaurants near to . Would definitely go back.
P. C.
Located in a vivid and amazing area of London it is a perfect central point to discover the city. The staff is very supportive and friendly. Breakfast was appreciated as well as the pizza I ordered for my lunch. My room (325) was definitely too small and not convenient (as example there is no other place to put the towels than on the bed or the toilets...).
D. M.
Titchy rooms, but smack in the middle of Soho...
If your looking for adventure you cant go wrong.
W. L.
I was sent to London last summer for a business trip. The budget for the trip was not big so I had to find a hotel that was well priced and hopefully as nice as possible. I came across this hotel online and it looked promising. The lobby seems to double as a cafe so it can get quite busy there and to add it wasn't a big space so having a busy cafe and trying to haul in our luggage was a little overwhelming. We checked in no problem and we got to our room. The room was super tiny compared to what were used to back home but it may just be a city thing. But as small as it was, it was all we needed and was quite well designed and decent considering the size of the room and the price we paid.
If I were to return on a short business trip again, I would probably return here.
O. H.
The staff were very nice and helpful, the rooms are tiny you really can't understand how much, the cheese and wine free tastings every evening were really great for us. To conclude we had a lovely stay in London but the front desk must find a taxi company to work with to be able to reserve in advance for their guests because we had a really unpleasant experience looking for one in the street next to the hotel in the early morning.
C. J.
This hotel really surprised me! Yes, the rooms are small. You know that going in. But it's London, the hotel is located in an area with hundreds of cafes and restaurants and other things to do besides sit in your tiny hotel room. Again, it's London, there will be street noise. Get yourself some earplugs and move on. It's nothing the hotel staff can control. I also found the staff to be really helpful and nice. No problem checking in at 3pm and the wine and cheese hour really makes up for everything else. Seriously, stay here for the wine and cheese alone. I would 100% recommend staying here.
C. M. G.
Smart hotel in convenient location offering friendly service and the unexpected delight of free wine and cheese in the afternoons. Rooms were clean, bed comfortable but unfortunately a bit small. Could benefit from extra hooks to be able to hang up your towel.
M. W.
The location is great, a short walk from two different tube stations with plenty of food and shops around. The rooms are tiny but have the bare necessities. They are fairly clean, but very tight for two people (with the full bed) The only real problem is the shower door does not stop the water from pooling in the room, so you have to be careful.
K. B.
I knew it would be small, but it was even smaller than possibly expected. The bathroom (what seemed like the highlight of the room) was poorly designed, badly finished, and whatever sadistic bastard cleaned last pointed the shower nozzle right at the only possible position for ones face when turning on the faucet. The entire bathroom was soaked by my shower, unavoidably. I was prepared for a small modern place, but I expected it to be done well. Free wine and cheese was nice, as was the beautiful courtyard... but you have to walk outside to get to your room. Overall wasn't as good as I had hoped for the price. At least the location was good.
S. S.
Great hotel in the heart of the Soho and the City. The staff were awesome, little cafe on the bottom floor was great to do some work, and the location just can't be beaten.
The rooms are pretty small, but they're well fitted out, really new, and impeccably cleaned. Value for money (considering competitors), and a all around great experience.
M. H.
We stayed at the Z Hotel Soho to see a show and had a very warm welcome. The room was as advertised, small but comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is what you pay for and it is in the centre of Soho and the heart of Theatreland. The best and most surprising part was the complimentary cheese and wine that was delicious. The staff were also extremely accommodating and friendly. We are definitely going back. Thanks to Jorge and team!
C. G.
Boutique modern hotel, with small rooms that have all you need. Service is excellent and the hotel overall is beautiful. I've traveled extensively and have stayed in many high end hotels, however my experience so far at the Z hotel soho has been nothing short of great. The hotel industry especially U.S. hotels could learn from a great deal these guys.
A. M.
Centrally located - easy access to theatre, restaurants, convenience stores, bookstores, and all sorts of other shopping. We tried a few nearby restaurants because of the location, and they all turned out great. The room was clean, neat, affordable, stylish... But a little small. Pros definitely outweigh the cons in this scenario, though. Interacted with maybe 5-6 staff members, and they were all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel!
A. H.
Great hotel, just what you need right in the centre of London. Very close to theatres and right next to the palace theatre. Complimentary wine and cheese every evening for hotel guests. Breakfast was delicious, staff were friendly and helpfull even let us keep our bags at hotel after checking out so we could explore London without carrying them around. Umbrellas you can borrow for the day at hotel entrance. A great experience would deffinatley stay again!
J. M.
Very nice hotel in a perfect location. Very close to all the theatre's, as well as 2 subway stations, perfect for getting to all over the city, such as to Euston or the museum's. Rooms are cosy, but fine if what you're looking for is a cheap room in a great location. Even better was the free cheese and wine from 5-8, good selection of both. Overall, great location, staff, and food!
A. E.
Comfortable and very affordable if you get a deal. For just about $100 (£70) for a very small, single room, this hotel is perfect. Breakfast was quite delicious. Quiet despite the busy location, and the architecture is beautiful. Close to British museum and very central. Accommodating staff.
K. P.
Love this hotel! I had an inside single room, very small, like a cubby hole, but very comfortable! Love the big screen TV with satellite, with tons of channels when you want to lay back & relax. You have to be creative where you can put your stuff! Luckily I had a carry on bag & it fit under the bed, otherwise there is no where for luggage. No closet, you hang clothes on back of door. BUT, you can't beat the location & the price for that location. And a very NICE staff. I was there last year for 3 days, next year for 5 days.
D.
I’m a bit disappointed in the service the bed are the towels wasn’t changed from the day before so we had to use the same bath towel two days the rooms are really small and the mattress are stain for such expensive place to stay
Make sure the guest gets clean bath towel every day and tidy the room and change the mattress if they are stain especially now
j. d.
Located in the most perfect spot in Soho within only a few steps of any place you'd want to be. The staff is professional and courteous. The property is spotless. The rooms are tiny but you're aware of that going in. They're super efficient and comfortable. Enjoyed my stay.
L.
The smallest hotel I have ever stayed in, do not stay if you're claustrophobic. It's part of their "charm". It I did not particularly enjoy it. You might like, give it a try, if not for their rooms but perhaps for their free chess and wine every evening.
W. H.
Beautiful hotel! Staff professional and friendly! Personally found the room to be a bit too small but considering I only used it to sleep and shower its a minor detail! Would definitely recommend this place!
P. B.
PERFECT PLACE TO GO. It is small, but the room is really nice and elegant. The bed is so so comfortable, I have not slept that good in ages. I went there with my boyfriend in our anniversary and they even gave us a box of chocolate for free. Free WiFi, free wine and croissant at night, HUGE TV, LOVELY staff. STRONGLY recommended!
M. H.
The place was really nice! The staff were friendly, the room (double bed) small but clean and with modern furniture. If you are interested in theaters and musicals this place will be perfect for you. Alladin, Les Miserables and other Shows are right around the corner. Also the nearby streets are full of cafés, restaurants and bars! I enjoyed my stay very much, and even though the streets around are full of partying people, the room itself was really quite and I slept well :) Thank you for the pleasent experience!
S. V.
Had a pretty enjoyable stay. Rooms are small, but it is Soho. Had a free wine and cheese in the evenings while I was visiting which was nice before heading out to the pub. Rooms were kept clean at all times and staff was very friendly.
B. A.
Location is prime, smack dab in the middle of the action. Rooms are modern and immaculate. Beautiful outdoor seating areas. Free wine and cheeses every single night. Staff were lovely. I booked one night at another z hotel in Piccadilly (after a nightmare experience at an different hotel in hammersmith) and loved it so much that I wanted to rebook but they were full, so I booked another z hotel room nearby in soho. Will stay here again for my next visit to London.
E.
Great Location, Great Staff, quite a few minor issues. Really more like a 3.5.
Great location. 15 minutes walk to: theaters, great museums, landmarks, shopping, Thames river, varied cuisine.
Soho is bustling with activity. Even with good room sound insulation, street sirens can still be heard in the middle of the night.
Employees are very friendly.
Accommodated early check in at 11am or can handle baggage drop off if needed.
Prompt responses to email inquiries, phone calls.
Clean, modern, well maintained look.
Good insulation against sound from nearby rooms/occupants.
Mattress is firm, with sufficient pillows
Free cheese and wine in the early evenings is a nice touch.
Weak wifi, cannot upload pictures to Picasa, Google plus. Not reliable.
Room very small. Bathroom divider from bed. When using the toilet, my knees bump against the divider, and my height is 5' 8''.
Only one side of the bed has room for a night stand. The three sides of the bed are flush against the room wall.
No closet space, just hangers for coats, etc.
No safe. Left laptop and tablet in the room and no issues.
Weak shower pressure.
Shower temperature too hot, cannot regulate the temperature.
Shower area has no shower curtain so toilet floor gets wet as well.

My wife and i wanted to stay in central London for one night and it doesn''t get more central than this, fantastic location! loved the complimentary cheese and wine in the restaurant in the evening , a really nice way to start the evening before you head out. The only thing is the size of the rooms , we knew they were compact but 2 people will struggle to get dressed and ready to go out at the same time, you will have to take turns while the other lays in bed, but its not a problem really.
Our room overlooked Old Compton street which stays quite lively until the early hours, didn't hear any noise from other guests
We would defiantly stay here again
L.
Got a great deal due to the COVID situation. A good two nights here, very clean and great location. Didn’t have any coffee sachets which was a bit of a bummer but other than that I appreciated the stay.
A. B.
Great little hotel. Was looking for cheap and cheerful and that's exactly what I found here. It's fantastic value for money especially considering the location. If you look for a place to stay after a night out at the theatre or in the Soho craziness, look no further. Close to great shopping spots too. Hugely recommended.
T. K.
Great location and good service. Small but clean rooms. The breakfast buffet is ok, with excellent coffee - and the wine and cheese from 5-8 is a lovely idea, especially when enjoyed in the inner courtyard.
M. V.
Cute central little hotel with a vibe. Elevator broken but for 140 quid I’m glad I got a room with a window on top floor. Ideally located. Comfy bed. Can’t have everything but I’d say worth the price
M. J.
Love this place. Staying here every time I‘m in London. Super central, prices are ok and rooms are pretty new (even though tiny, but that‘s just London I guess). The best part is the complimentary wine & cheese buffet every day from 5pm. Wide selection of white, red and rosé and an assortment of different nibbles are ,akimg sure to start your afternoon right. Good hotel right in the center of Soho. Welcoming and helpful staff, I had a double room design and all comfort. Although I must say that you can hardly fit 2 standing people inside it, there's only a small free space between the bed and the small desk :)
It's good for a short stay in London, but probably not for a week.
J. B.
Right outside the theatre for Harry Potter and the Cursed child so very convenient. Room way too small to spend any time other than sleeping. Ensuite shower and toilet but the "wall" is frosted glass so no privacy whatsoever. Free cheese and wine from 5pm to 8pm improved the score with wide selection of both with breads, biscuits, olives etc.
E. O. (.
The acomadation was lovely very smart and clean. The room though small had everything you would need; a comfortable bed, sky TV, kettle, bottled water, hot chocolate, coffee and range of teas, bathroom including hairdryer, bath soaps and towels etc. The staff are very friendly and informative and made very welcome. The hotel is located in an idea location with Soho theatre just a short walk away. It has a quirky cafe inside the hotel, however I would recommend eating elsewhere for breakfast as there wasn't a grate variety for the price.
J. H.
This is a great hotel and I've just stayed there for the second time.
The hotel has a great location. You can walk to many places without the need to constantly use transport. I walked to The London Eye, Big Ben, London Dungeons, Oxford Circus, shopping streets and more.
The rooms in this hotel are very small. If you don't like small rooms make sure to ask for a larger room or the flat. The café is very small too but it's okay, it has it charms.
Also I loved the afternoon complimentary cheese and wine in the café from 5pm till 8pm.
B. N.
Really convenient and comfortable. Great staff!
C. M.
Fantastic hotel located right in the hot zone of central Soho. Reasonably priced, compact / cosy rooms. Free wine & cheese from 5pm to 7pm is an amazing offer. Have used for works trips and pleasure. Top notch stuff.
T. S.
Although the rooms are extremely 'cosy' they are well equipped...however saying that I didn't need ringer ready for a night out.
I can't review the breakfast as their cafe was closed for refurbishment until September (which they unfortunately failed to tell us about prior to our stay).
The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and modern, TV in room even included sky movies. The free Wi-Fi is also reliable.
The breakfast that was served in the terrace was very nice.
As an added bonus the hotel provided complimentary wines and cheese which was a tasty treat.
Great location!
L. C.
Rooms are very small (but cool), very friendly staff, lovely wine and cheese everyday from 5-9p. Great location with lots going on and easily accessible to the Picadilly, Northern, and Central tube lines. A bit noisy at night due to the the surround restaurants and bars.
M. K.
This was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this hotel. Even though the rooms might be small, I had a beautiful view, the breakfast is perfect, and the whole staff was very friendly and generous at all times. I will always prefer this hotel during my next stays in London. Thank you for your hospitality!
T. S.
Amazing.. Small rooms but what do you need? Bathroom with good shower.. Tick, cumfy bed.. Tick.. Really lovely check in staff, tick. Unbelievable price, tick and directly next to the Palace theatre tick ✅ tick. What a find! Totally recommend.
D. W.
Such a good price for what you get fully rate this place
P. R.
Very clean hotel (checked with UV/blacklight as I happened to have one with me!), rooms small but well appointed, free cheese and wine is a nice touch as they're quality cheeses! Not a full service hotel, no room service, but the convenience of Soho on the doorstep makes up for it. Personally, I'd find the rooms (even the larger queen room) a bit cosy to share, you can't access both sides of the bed, the wet room is at the foot of the bed, but for a solo traveler they're comfortable and well priced. And its a great location for pretty much all the theatres. For the uninitiated, Soho is very central London, all the West End shows are a walk away, lots of restaurants and bars, is the centre of British film and TV, but is also known for having a bit of a seedy side should you look for it.

Spent three nights in this hotel. Good things are: a) really great location, – Leicester Square is 3 minutes away, lots of bars and restaurants around, many of which are really good (Patty & Bun for a burger, Flat Iron for a steak, Brewdog for a beer); b) friendly staff and helpful staff, checkin is fast, checkout is fast, all good; c) rooms are quite clean; d) there is a cozy inside outdoor territory; e) Fast enough wi-fi connection. Bad things are: a) the bed was very firm, and very short – I touched the wall with my toes (I am 176 cm) and very narrow – cannot imagine sleeping on this bed together with someone; b) the furniture in the room, the lock on the door, ac – everything is not so new, everything looks like it was used for 10-15 years; c) I accidentally turned on heat on ac and it started heating, – in a minute very hard dampness smell started coming from it and filled the whole room, I was airing the room for an hour after that.

Traveling on a dime? This is an affordable spot to hang your head but not much room foe much else.
D. R.
You can’t beat its location, but be prepared to sleep in a shoebox. Friendly welcome, but rooms aren’t usually available before 17:00 which can be an issue.
I happened to be given a room with disability access which is larger than the standard one, but has a bathroom optimised for disability access with no place to hang or hook anything.
D. P.
Single room is super small, with super single bed inside. The only space you get is behind the door. Nice and clean, very friendly staff. Great location. They give free cheese and wine during dinner time until 8pm
D. H.
Great staff, clean and tidy, the location is amazing for getting about if you theatre using or just absorbing London life
P. L.
Rooms were clean and modern, we also enjoyed complimentary cheese and wine.
However, in our room the television didn't work and the AC unit above the bed was noisy even though it was off.
M. Ķ.
Very lovely and cosy cafe to enjoy breakfast or lunch or just even a sandwich
T. P.
Good place to rest in a crowded area. Some rooms at the first floor are particularily vulnerable to noise from the lap dance bar from behind the Hotel in the weekend. Clean and nice place, good personnel.
C. F.
Far exceeded expectations. For the price paid we expected to 'tolerate' a budget hotel for one night. What we actually received was first class service with immaculate decor and a location to kill for. From the moment we arrived we were upgraded, offered free wine and cheech, all with a genuine smile. The rooms were cosy with Sky television and took little noise in from the outside. If I had one criticsm it would be the opaque bathrooms, but still an easy 5 stars.
P.
Great location. Very small room. Clean. Nice polite staff. Included cheese & wine nightly, which is great too. Convenient to Leister Square, Piccadilly circus, China Town, soho, the Underground, etc. It's right next to the Compton St. Gayborhood & all the fun day & night. Easy very short walk back to the hotel after you party in the gayborhood.
L. W.
The room was very well presented if on the smaller size. Excellent location for the theatre's and plenty of places to eat. If driving would recommend Q-PARK in China town.
A. Y.
Queen room is quite compact but comfortable and rooms are clean and tidy. Large flat screen TV in the room. Free cheese and wine between 5pm to 7pm. Lovely staff.
L. D.
Great inside, didn’t get much sleep as there was so much noise outside. But all in all a lovely hotel, minimalistic. Staff were absolutely lovely.
T. F.
We spent 7 days at Z Hotel Soho.
Everything was fine, very clean and comfortable.
A lot of bars and pubs around the Hotel, so it was bit noisy and loud at night.
Metro and Restaurants, café‘s, bakeries and theatres just few steps away.
Thank you for a great time in London ☺️👍🏼
J. M.
Fantastic experience with very much appreciated upgraded room. The staff was incredibly friendly. Location is amazing. Overall atmosphere is top notch. Would love to come back someday!
L. K.
I really liked the z hotel. Everything is clean and tidy, staff is friendly and helpful. Had a great breakfast too and loved the complementary chees and wine apero. The rooms look good too and of course, nothing beats its location between soho and covent garden. However, I cant give 5 stars because the rooms are so tiny. There's the bed, the bathroom and that's pretty much it. If you can handle that, you'll be happy!
M. O.
Perfect for someone, who just needs a small, clean room at central location for a moderate price. Very modern rooms. I was very satisfied with my stay @ the Z Hotel Soho.
D. M.
Brilliant hotel in the heart of Soho. Very friendly staff and large, clean rooms. Really appreciated the large flatscreen tv with sky movies.
L. S.
Excellent service. Thanku I recommend here
P. M.
Nice quirky little cafe - old fashioned bus seats for chair & a lovely tiled floor. Service was good & they were happy to make us a breakfast sandwich well before the menu said they'd be available from. Food was good & it's extremely convenient for the Palace theatre which is close by 🙂
D. Z.
Very small room even for London and the glass partition separating the en suite from the bedroom was not exactly very obscured.
Great location and really freindly staff. The welcome drink was really nice.
Decent value as well
c. m.
very comfortable and well-appointed room! the room i was in was rather small with no windows, but a great option for budget-minded travelers, and you simply cannot beat the location!
P. M.
Really beautiful and nice hotel. Great, friendly staff! Only downside - the rooms are quite small. But for me, there's no problems!
J. D.
Nice hotel that attracts a younger clientele as it has a very popular bar/nightclub. Very centrally situated but rather too busy for my liking. I gothink to the hotel in a London taxi from London City Airport at a cost of £38 and when returning to the airport was offered a car from the hotel at almost 3 times the cost whichome I politely declined.
A. F.
Location is great, center of Soho.
Many food and shops are available around the hotel.
Friendly staff and clean rooms.
Only one downside is that rooms are too small for 2 people.
Recommended for a solo traveler and a short stay.
R. J.
Very nice location and great for the price.
S. S.
Great nights stay, room was clean and comfortable. Bit on the small side but more than adequate! Free cheese and wine was much appreciated as well. Would recommended!
D. J.
Amazing location, (the location is what you oay for here) and cool building. Rooms are very small but do you realy need more? Beds was very very hard wich was a negative for me.
A. T.
I've been here 2 times and although it is located in a very nice area I think the rooms are just a bit too small. You need to go over the bed to either open or shut the window.
T. M. Y.
had a small (maybe tiny) room. looks futuristic and compatible. transparent shower window is nice and kinky. not the best of hotels but quite keeps up with soho chic...
R. A.
While it's nice and clean, the rooms are tiny. If you are big or tall then you can't fit in the room.
E. B.
Wow! We had an amazing experience at this hotel. We booked a room last minute after a problem with our accommodations and they were very helpful. The room is small but worked well for our needs. Amazing location and totally worth it for the price.
M. N.
Excellent Location, Friendly Staff. But rooms are a bit small. Still, had a very good stay here. Had a very nice view of the busy colorful streets of Soho.
F. F.
The perfect place right in the middle of the west end. Staff very friendly and professional, compact room but they have what you really need. I believe there's no hotel like this in terms of location.
B. C.
Perfect hotel if your coming to see The Cursed Child. We could see the cue from our window. Helpful staff and clean rooms. Rooms are a little small but as your in london its not really an issue
G. G.
Great place to come, lots of friendly people late at night
G. A.
Love this hotel. Very small rooms but very clean and comfortable. Very nice staff and I love the free win e and cheese every afternoon/evening in their cafe
M. K.
This hotel is fabulous! Super central, great staff, clean and contemporary rooms, relaxed cafe bar with complimentary cheese/wine for guests. I adore this place! Thank you Z Soho x x
S. C.
Lovely central hotel, quaint, modern, very clean and comfortable bed. Such good value and close to everything, would definitely stay again
C. L.
Rooms are small, great service. Every night there was free wine and cheese. And it's in a perfect location.
A. K.
My sister Carol, had a great time there at the Z Hotel in Soho. Love every part of her time there .The visit there and around the area was great!!! . Was help by all the staff. She looking forward to going back, Will tell friends about the place. She kept telling all about the food and wines treats!!!
Å. O. A.
Stayed at Z hotel in Soho from the 1. to the 5.th of july. This is truly a hidden gem in London. Everyone that worked at the hotel were really nice and service-minded. The hotel itself was just amazing. Nice, clean and very high standard on the rooms. The free cheese and wine bufè every day from 17:00 to 20:00 was also a very nice touch. This will be our permanent choice of hotel in London in the future! We really recommend Z hotel Soho to everyone we see.
Thank you Z-hotel Soho for the exellent experience! Best wishes and kind regards, Tara Kristine and Aasmund Aanestad-Bakke - Norway
K. K.
Great location. Rooms were small.. No place to leave the suitcase, bed was hard, shower was large but the Water got everywhere when you showered.
H. W.
Rooms compact but well set out and immaculately clean. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Overall great experience
T. K.
So in fact the hotel was sold out. But Carlos the manager saw me and my girlfriend looking for a place on a Saturday night in downtown London. So he made a few calls and let us charge our phones rest our feet and even provided a complimentary Fanta. This was cutomer service at its finest. If I ever get a chance to review them I will repost about the rooms.
A. M.
Very good value staff and food excellent
E.
If your priorities are value, location and a smart modern design, this scores high, you even get a nice flat-screen in your room. Larger hotels offer more services, but when you have the whole of London on your doorstep who needs it?. They have just opened another similar Hotel near Victoria if you prefer west London. Not sure why they have a picture of the Tower of London, this hotel is in lively Soho.
T. C.
Love the small room concept. Wine and cheese every night. Very close to the shows. Great staff. Want a better breakfast
C. C.
Way too small rooms. Cleanliness is satisfactory, but the shower was practically the whole bathroom. People at the reception are nice and supportive
M. T.
Great, quirky hotel, in a fantastic location. Staff were lovely & I very much appreciated the complimentary wine & cheese in the evening. Would definitely stay again.
M. E.
The rooms are small, even for London standards, but they are clean and planned in a good way. In soho so could not be more in the middle of everything. I'll come back both for business and vacation.
M. S.
Amazing cafe. Nice bathroom. Rather cheap.
P. P.
Room was tiny but well epuipped and comfortable. The food was good and staff were excellent. Good location within walking distance of lots of fun places.
L. a.
Excellent staff, very friendly and attentive. Really enjoyed the excellent quality cheese and wine.
n. f.
Great hotel and nice stylish outlay.centre of everything, spotlessly clean, staff brilliant...would definitely stay again..very nice touch with wine+cheese 5 stars.
C. M.
The hotel room was very small, but manageable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location and is reasonably priced.
S. G.
Lovely cafe for a quick bite and either coffee/tea or a cocktail.
The building itself and interior are quite beautiful and it is very comfortable with nice staff. Interestingly the bathroom is located on a lower floor which is accessible by lift (so not a problem for wheelchair users).
M. G.
Can't recommend this place enough.... yes the rooms are small but they are very modern, the staff are amazing and there is COMPLIMENTERY WINE AND CHEESE FOR 2 HOURS EVERY DAY!!!!! I mean seriously.... how can you give this place a poor review
M. J.
In the middle of it all! Wow, simple check in, to a simple small room with great features. If you are a really go outside type who isn't concerned about massive space and just a fun room with amazing location, this is the place. I will be back.
S. K.
Location is great, right near bustle of London. Rooms are small but feel very luxurious. Nice service and easy to book online.
w.
Very friendly and helpful - the rooms were small but comfy-very clean- breakfast was lovely and very much enjoyed the cheese and wine in the evening.. Very central just perfect for my needs
R. K.
This place has a major plus....location location location. Rooms are very small and cramped....ideal for a quick overnight in the city but a weekend you would be struggling. Friendly staff and some very nice public areas. Would be back but this time would know what to expect.
C. A. F.
Great location. Very small rooms. But clean and in good shape. An efficient and good value way to stay in the theater district.
B. R.
Very, very ‘bijou’ (one night is probably enough), but a fantastic location for seeing a London show and they throw in an early evening glass of wine and cheese on the house, for guests
R. e. M.
+: Cool hotel, outstanding location, excellent breakfast, nice staff.
-: Tiny rooms (ridiculous 7 m2), steet noise kept me awake even though all windows were closed
M. C.
Yes the rooms are small but they're clean and modern. All you really need.
Plus the free cheese was a bonus
M.
The lady that works the breakfast shift (14/03) was amazing. Very attentive, friendly, sweet and kind with everyone. Seriously the best interaction to start the day. Food and coffee are ok, the booths are wonderful and the atmosphere is overall perfect.
B. W.
As always in London, tiny, tiny hotel rooms. No space to open luggage. Also, rock hard mattresses. On the other hand, nice breakfast, nice afternoon buffet with complimentary wine and cheese
V. N.
Stayed here twice. It does what it says on the tin. It’s clean and really pleasant. Cheese and wine free Of charge when I last went!
X. V.
Very cosy setting, but rooms could do with being slightly bigger. Other than that, very friendly staff, overall place nice and clean 👌🏻
D. O.
we have recently just had our 5th stay at z hotel soho and as always had a amazing stay . the hotel is in a perfect location for shopping shows and sightseeing the rooms are very clean and all the staff are very friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble and as always the wine and cheese is a lovely touch in friendly atmosphere
M. W.
Great if you are traveling alone and just need a clean safe place to sleep. Smallest hotel room I have ever read rented .
M. N.
Great central location in Soho. Some street noise. Rooms are small but functional. Very good breakfast and free wine and cheese in the evening. Staff is very friendly
M. C.
Very comfy bed and good shower right in the heart of the West End. Compact, but perfect for our 1 night stay.
s. f.
I question if they wash the duvet covers - mine did not seem fresh 😳 rooms are terribly small for one, can't imagine 2 people in these rooms...better value to be had - see my other review for the first hotel I stayed at in London
B. H.
Tiny rooms (even having paid for a bigger room). Noisy due to London traffic outside. Cheap and serves its purpose. Breakfast was nice enough.
S. P.
Tiny indeed but we loved it. Very clean and well-maintained. We people-watched from our window. Perfect part of the city.
S. G.
We had a lovely stay, and were really impressed with the room for the price paid, given the amazing location. I would definitely recommend!
R. M.
Really small rooms, clean, nice staff, selection of complimentary tea/coffee on room. The location is great.
K. N.
Excellent service, good straff and extremely fresh room. Bit small room but enough space for 3-4 nights stay
r. d.
Great room for the price, nice and clean, cosy. Only down side is that you could see into the bathroom from your room.
E. C.
Great location, comfortable bed! But tiny rooms, 2 people can not get dressed at the same time
A. N.
Small, functional room. Has everything you need for a short stay. Amazing Aircon which was greatly appreciated as it was 31c for two days.
M. G. R.

Cosy, quaint café at a very accessible location in Central London. Good selection of wines and sumptuous cheeses at their daily buffet. Reasonably priced! Great place to meet for a quiet drink.
R. A.
Small boutique hotel with modern, stylish and well kitted rooms. Although the rooms are small they are great value and you don't really notice :)
A. N.

T. W.
Nice rooms if a little small (this is London) love the wine and cheese each evening and the 1st floor open courtyard.
M. F.
Tiny rooms. Amazing free happy hour for guests, and decent price for happy hour for guests of guests. Price is high for tiny room but location is CENTRAL.
J. P.
Always love the Z and its pre diner aperitif (just a bit more privacy I bathroom would make this 5 star) and awesome location... will definitely go back
L. C.
A really beautiful, clean, centered location hotel. The cheese and wine is a real pleasure every day. Really recommende!
P. B.
Excellent location, trendy design. All fine except the noise during evenings. If you don't mind that though, it's a very nice choice in the soho!

R. P.
Perfect little spot in Soho. We were here 2 nights in a row! The wine and cheeses were beautiful. I would highly recommend it.
J. P. R.
Small but great hotel, it is located in a very good place near almost every landmark of London. It also has breakfast options, as well as for lunch and dinner.
M. D.
Perfect stay for our one night in London. We watched the cursed child at the Palace theatre, so the location was more than perfect
J. E.
Great location for the Palace Theatre, literally a 30 second walk away. Not easy to spot from the street though. Room was comfortable enough.

Had a lovely lunch here before a show. Hot chocolates were huge and came with a shot glass of smarties! My daughter had a Margherita pizza which was freshly prepared and was very tasty. I had a mozzarella, pesto flat bread with a side salad and shared a HUGE cheese board which was meant for two! Olives and houmous were delicious. The bill was very reasonable for London and our waitress was very friendly and efficient. Can thoroughly recommend and will be going again.
