Reviews of Travelodge London Marylebone
For the price we paid, it could’ve been a lot worse. It was clean, the bed wasn’t too bad, and everything worked. The rooms are very small and shabby, and are not cleaned/made-up during your stay, although they do replenish tea & coffee and replace towels on request (but you don’t get clean mugs or spoons). Reception staff were friendly, and the location is excellent.
Incredibly comfortable bed. Good shower, conveniently located to shops and bars. No toothpaste provided.
Reasonable prices. Clean. Good location . We pretty much literally only spent minimum time in the room as so much to do in London.
Basic room in an excellent location. Customer service, from one night porter in particular, was awful. Would not stop me returning though.
Room was clean and tidy, no air conditioning and no breakfast facility other than a cardboard box packup is dissapointing
Budget Hotel, need renovation, and its not that clean 🙄. The only advantage is the location
Nice clean and tidy, perfectly situated with easy access to metro, and with restaurants around.
Very lovely staff who worked hard to make me smile. Thank you all !
Excellent no frills accommodation in the heart of London. First class service. Thirty seconds walk from Marylebone train and tube station.
Lovely staff. Great location for getting around London as a tourist. Very run down looking inside though and very noisy at night.
Good location and a clean hotel. No breakfast room, but plenty on cafes within 5 minutes walk.
Decent size room and very comfortable bed
Very basic room. The TV was rubbish. Comfy bed. No sit down breakfast available.
Friendly staff, simple but comfortable and clean room. A little too much cheap air freshener.
Good hotel. The rooms are in good shape. Price varies a lot, but it's generally good value.,
Cheap and easy to find; convenient for access to the train station. Needs updating, but the beds are very comftable.
We were very impressed with reception staff NAPHIE he was friendly helpful and polite. He got us two rooms next each other we checked in GOOD FRIDAY and checked out on Saturday and we were able to leave our bags until it was time to go for our train.Marylebone Travelodge great location good clean rooms and comfortable bed well done everyone at Marylebone.
Room was very clean. Shower worked well. Bed was very comfortable. Nothing wrong.
Abit noisy but overall a good nice sleep. Alsonnice and clean there and cheap too
Very close to the station
Nice place to stay.
Hot, loud street overlooking offices hotel with old deco , not very nice for location.
Great location, next to Marylebone station. Rooms were fine considering the price and service was ok.
Very clean and tidy, great for visiting the sights, next door to the tube station.
Excellent budget hotel in central london...rooms are clean and neat...and refurbished...breakfast is on the go...would prefer sonethibg else...other than that all great...
Great location & helpful staff. Room is basic but that's all you need if sightseeing.
Small rooms - cheap hotel and you generally get what you pay for. Very minimalistic
London hotel was nice. Nothing fancy but was clean. Staff was very nice.
Basic room but good bed and clean all round, and good value for money being next to Marylebone station
Staff were very friendly, though the hotel itself is a bit grim. Very noisy and the breakfast ina box was terrible.
Good receptionist and checkin was dealt with efficently. Room clean and tidy and location near the railway/underground.
Typical quality room wise and that lovely bed, but the building is tired, lots of internal thumping and banging and glazing is awful, poor sleep in this one.
Very good hotel reasonable price great location for central London commute right near marylbone station and baker street underground very clean room and staff were great 🇬🇧
Great room, lovely staff who couldn't do enough for us. Remarkably quiet for central London
Clean and accessible, perfect for a stay when you know you’ll be spending more town outside your hotel room than in. The railway station is very close by. The rooms are clean and have all the standard needs. No luxury, but fair prices.
Low cost but above expectations. It was just booked for somewhere to sleep after a night out in London town. Did what it said on the tin.
Quiet and very discreet place. Friendly atmosphere and very accommodating staff with very goid oruce
Would definately stay here again, maybe when its not over 30 degrees as there was no AC but service, location and price were great!
Rooms are typical quality for a travelodge. Room is a bit noisy as it is adjacent to a couple of bars.
Good value with modern room and plenty of amenities. Staff very friendly.
Fantastic location, great view from the window. Would go to same Travelodge every time if we got same room.
Basic but functional, clean, but will be warm on warmer days as no air con
Very nice room, shame no food on site. Not much of an issue as there's lots of restaurants on Baker Street
Clean comfortable room right near the London museum. Friendly staff and good breakfast buffet.
Slightly worn-out feel to the place, but it's an efficient work horse offering cheap-ish well-located bases for assaults on Piccadilly, Royal Academy of Arts, RA of Music etc
Convinent. Good location adjent to Marylebone train and tube station.
Staff very helpful room clean sorry no bar I was ready for a pint
Great location. Clean and comfortable. Night reception a wonderful guy.
Ideal location to get around. Underground is 1 min walk away! Clean and big rooms
Great central location. Surprisingly not noisy. Helpful staff always on duty.
Good size room, excellent shower, all expected facilities
Clean. Comfortable. Concierge service. Otherwise dull. No dining room. Breakfast comes in a box.
All clean and tidy, helpful stuff. Exactly what you expect. Good location and low price for London standards
Great service, big room and really clean. Location great as close to tube.
Management needs review and humanely attitudes towards Services.
Yet great location for all Travelers..
Great location. Rooms are what you'd expect. Bathrooms very small
Friendly staff, conveniently located next to the station.
The rooms are dated and showers in the plus room flooded as the shower curtain didn’t stand up to the task.
The Lavazza coffee machine was a nice touch as it’s my favourite coffee brand. The bed was comfortable however the pillows were clumpy and seemed old.
Was bumped up to a super room free of charge where everything was provided for. Location was also very convenient
Had no reservation but that found me a room. Bar and restaurant prices reasonable.
Worn, basic
I was there with friends & family for a 04 days stay & it was a nice place to stay as everything works out great for everyone.
Very convenient location, good value for money, pipe work needs upgrade.
great location at a great price... rooms are a little dated but you get what you pay for
Always warm and clean prefer euston travelodge staff always helpful
Stayed 1 night clean room with polite friendly helpfully staff.
Friendly accommodating and professional staff, hotel is dated but not too bad
Great room, comfy bed, spacious, great location
Great location for access to the underground only footsteps away nice location
Room was clean and well appointed, good location, reasonable rates
Comfortable bed, full sized bath with shower, helpful front desk
Reception computers were down but booking in was still quick with good customer service
Bit too noisy as it's right by a train station. Only a packed on the go breakfast
Room was ok but basic and a bit on the cold side.
Good location, staff pleasant, room comfortable. All in all good value for money
Great location, good value, friendly staff and clean room.
Nice, friendly and close to trains and underground which makes it easy to get around.
Rooms are standard Travelodge, but the building is very dated thin walls etc.
Breakfast rubbish not hot just cereal and muffin really a rip off for 9.50
Really lovely hotel in prime location in Marylebone! Had a great view out of our room which looked fab at night all lit up! Just outside Congestion zone for parking which was handy too!
Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely look to use again.
Really comfy room, clean and warm and spacious
Very convenient, not the best equipment but clean and comfy
Kind at the reception, clean, no air conditioning, breakfast bag included only upon request
Really nice hotel, really friendly staff and room was great.
Clean...friendly staff....great location...great nights sleep
OK, clean room but quite small, only a single bed
Nice room, friendly staff and central location.
Good central location. Clean with very comfy beds
If you're on a budget and just need somewhere to crash this place is fine.
Basic but bed comfortable and good location
No bar or food. Just across the road from Marylebone Station
One of the lower end of the Travelodge offerings. Its very very basic and the rooms are tiny however they did include an iron in the room which is a bonus these days.
Breakfast is just the breakfast box offering which is poor value.
The location is amazing literally next to marlyebone station. I couldn't hear any noise from the train however I could hear the next room talking...
Stay if on a budget.
Comfortable bed. Slow and weak wifi. Tiny bathroom.
Good, convenient location. Friendly staff.
Old carpets
A good overnight spend
Perfectly fine. No issues. Great location.
Clean room, good location. No overhead lighting, too dim.
Cheap and cheerful, felt well looked after by the staff. Would stop again 😀
Clean budget accommodation. Very helpful staff.
Tiny rooms, alot pf people complaining whilst i was there but fine for me!
Brilliant location, tube statuin across the road
This Travelodge is next to Marylebone station. Helpful staff and a comfortable stay.
Right next door to Marylebone Station, so fabulous transport links. And friendly, helpful reception staff.
The hotel room was very basic, eg small hanging space, no drawers, no hairdryer etc. And very shabby and tired looking, with an uninspiring breakfast box.
I stayed for 2 nights on business and it met my needs, although wouldn't have wanted to stay there longer, or when on holiday.
Very convenient for a base when visiting London due to the proximity of public transport.
A nice room. Very cheap for such a central location.
Well can't complain about what you are getting ..adequate services
Excellent location. Nice staff. A hidden gem in London.
Looked neat tidy, didn't actually stay. Would consider though
Great staff excellent beds and pillows
Basic and cheap. Staff really helpful.
Nice clean, good location hotel
Cheap and convenient. Centrally located. Nice staff.
Good rooms. Quiet.
I always stay here when i travel for a day to London.. second floor family rooms are rubbish,, dirty old carpets , outdated toilets, toilet door doesn’t close. I also tried a room in the 4th floor which was much better and new. No ramp by the door but its like 5 stair steps so we managed.
Something need to be done to second floor rooms.
Location is perfect.
We had a good one night stay here! The room and bathroom were clean, the bed comfortable enough and we liked the extra pillows available. Hotel is in a great location with easy access to transport links (tube, train, buses, taxi) and a variety of handy convenience shops. It is a very traffic intense area and the humming noise of traffic (outside) and bathroom ventilation system (inside) could make one struggle to get a comfortable sleep. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Overall, ok value for money particularly with off season prices.
Typical ok Travelodge hotel. Great location.
Excellent staff excellent room great location
Most convenient and centrally located hotel in London.
Little bit dirty and dated - but ok for the price.
Budget hotel, clean, cozy, friendly stuff.
Very small room, but well located
Good location. Friendly, helpful staff
Clean but bathroom very small
Don't ever take the single room. It's a pigeon hole.
Very nice but expensive for one night
Wasn't aware that Travelodge did single rooms until I stayed here. Wet room bathroom had no shower curtain which wasn't ideal. Good location though and good value for central London at short notice. Comfy bed.
Perfect for city night out. No frills
Good cheapish hotel near. Marylebone station
Small rooms, a bit shabby.
Marvellous. Clean, tidy, and good staff.
Clean, tidy and friendly staff.
Impressive.. Full money worth place
Not the biggest of rooms but nice
small and cosy a bit of everything
Close to train station, great spot
Like all Travelodge s does what it says cheapest and OK
Nice hotel, but hard pillows
Clean basic rooms in a central location
Just want you need perfect location
Adequate and convenient location for transport
Great location and good value
Great little hotel for the center of London
City Travelodge. Kinda noisy, not that comfortable
Pretty good as Travelodge goes
Brilliant location
☝️👌👍👍❤️
Ok for sleeping, nothing else!
Nice rooms, but very hot. No air con. With the window open it was very noisy. Shop delivery at 2am, cages pulled off and the cages pulled back on. Sadly it was too hot to close the window. So, if you don't mind noise, it's not a bad place to stay.
Basic room, does the minimum
Fantastic location and hotel
Brilliant room and location!
Perfect for a short stay in London
Not all TV channels worked
Clean, good location.
Excellent Manager very helpful
Rooms are very small.
Clean and comfortable!
Cheap and fairly cheerful.
Rooms very basic and tired. Could do with a coat of paint.
Fine as base for sightseeing
Ok but basic
Was okay
Cheap but tired
Lovely
Love it
Fine!
Good and clean.
Good value.
Average quality for overprice
Very clean and the place is very conducive to sleep as pillows, bedsheets and beds are of top quality. Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much. On our last day of stay staff looked after our bags and luggages so we enjoyed going around London without taking them along with us. It made our lives easy getting on the tube train which were packed all the time. Perfect place to go around cities like London as it’s just 2 to 3 minutes walk from London Marylebone station. It has nice restaurants around for a quick meal out.
Decent rooms
Good service
Warm and noisy
Dry and then wet!
Fabulous
It's a travelodge.
Good
Excellent location
Nice hotel
G
Great budget hotel in central London, consistent Travelodge standard. The room and bathroom were really clean. We had a great, powerful shower and there was plenty of hot water. There is no car park and only a light takeaway breakfast is available but, as we did our research before our stay, this did not cause us any issues! We parked at the Church Street Q Park. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby for evening meals and breakfast. There is a little street noise from outside, but this is central London and it didn't bother us. Fantastic value considering its location. Can't wait for our next stay!
It was fine
Average travelodge
Essential.
Central
Top notch👌
Great Location
Great location
As expected
Typical Travelodge
Location Location Location.
Room is comfortable and well fitted out, if small. Staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. Bathroom doesn't seem to have any ventilation, but is very recently remodeled. Overall, nice experience.
Travelodge
Lovely staff, clean room, quiet stay. My door was hard to close without a bang and was worried about waking others as I'm a smoker so in and out. But been reported and lovely owner will get to sorting it.
Like every year, Travelodge London Central Marylebone never fails to please us!
It's now the fourth time that we choose this hotel during our visits to our beloved city, and it's as if we felt at home!
The rooms are not small, but just the right size. The king size bed is really very comfortable and despite the fact that the structure is located 10 steps from the Marylebone tube you can hear almost no noise. The carpet is clean, both in the rooms and in the common areas.
The bathroom is small but functional, we had a problem with the hot water but a member of staff immediately solved the problem. We also spent relatively little for London standards.
Kind and friendly staff always ready to solve any problem.
At the end of July I stayed a couple of days in this hotel, which is small but has all the comforts, except air conditioning. I didn't mind this because I can't stand air conditioning and also because the days I was in London the temperature was about 20*. The area is well served by public transport, and there are many restaurants nearby. If I were to return to London I think I will return to this hotel.
(Translated) No air conditioning and lack of ventilation. Not recommended in summer. The standard 2 person room is quite strange. M&S delivers during the week around shortly before 5 a.m. and the road users aren't too bad to honk at this time. However, location is very good. Safe neighborhood. In my opinion, breakfast shouldn't be called that. You get a box as if you were traveling by plane. Content is convincing neither qualitatively nor quantitatively.
(Original)
A little out of the way, but with the adjacent metro there are no problems to reach the center. Clean rooms and very helpful staff. Breakfast is very simple but at the station in front you can have a good Italian breakfast.
Basic standard, as usual with Travelodge. The hallways and rooms are noticeably dated.
Very friendly and helpful staff nevertheless made the stay very pleasant.
The advantage of this budget hotel is that it's directly opposite the Marylebone tube station. The Heathrow Express arrives just two stops further in Paddington. The journey into the city center is also quick and easy. Opposite is a pub and a Marks & Spencer 24-hour convenience store where you can stock up on drinks and food if you're just getting home and don't want to leave.
London's most beautiful park, with its many roses, Regent's Park, is within easy walking distance. Baker Street is also within easy walking distance.
I stayed here for a total of four days and paid an average of just over €80 per day. That's a real bargain by London standards.
A special service was that you could leave your suitcases at the hotel for free after you've checked out. So it was no problem at all to make the most of the last day and only make a quick stop at the hotel on the way to the airport to pick up my luggage.
I would book again anytime.
Decent room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, excellent location.
The best choice for short trips to London!
Would definitely book there again!
Hotel a couple of meters from Marylebone station.. 3 stars with en-suite bathroom.. No bidet.. Extremely comfortable bed.. Perfect temperature.. Staff always helpful and friendly!
Friendly staff, clean rooms, but the proximity to the train station and the underground station made it very noisy in the early morning hours due to deliveries to the shops. Therefore, I wouldn't book it again.
We had a great stay at Travelodge in Marylebone. The hotel room was very quiet and we had a great night sleep in the comfy bed.
The staff were very accommodating keeping our bags safe before check in and after check out. Especially Nesh on reception was very polite.
The hotel is right next to the tube station and Oxford Street is a 15 minute walk away.
We will definitely be coming back.
Super friendly staff, clean rooms, and a central location. The underground station is right around the corner. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi isn't the best.
Good hotel at a very reasonable price. Ideally located across from the metro line. However, it is a bit aging and the window insulation isn't great. The bedding is good.
Good value for money. It is well located. Near the shopping center. The train station is opposite. The rooms are simple and comfortable.
Well connected by metro. Station near Piccadilly. There's no restaurant at the destination, but they do offer a box of milk, juice, cereal, and muffins.
Hotel well located but missing a restaurant to have breakfast! Welcoming staff!
(Translated) Lovely urban hotel, however, the breakfast was nothing to shout about.
(Original)
Dejligt bynært hotel, dog var morgenmaden ikke noget at råbe hurra for.
Accessible hotel. Centrally located. Extensive breakfast.
Ideal for a city trip to London.
It's right in front of the station. It's old, but it's clean and well-maintained. The management is very friendly.
Good location, clean, and large rooms. Good value for money for London.
Cheap hotel, but always nice and nice people serving you.
Friendly staff and had a good one night stay. I got 40% discount on the price. A bit noisy area due to it being close to train station but I would stay again. I could not stop the shower after bath and there was no phone in the room to call the helpdesk . But I found the number on Google and called from my mobile. A friendly staff came to room quickly and fixed it.
(Translated) Nice, small and high quality hotel. Mostly the upgraded rooms

מלון נחמד , קטן ואיכותי. בעיקר החדרים המשודרגים
(Translated) If you want to be cleaner ... Sadly ~ but friendly and accessible

Needs a refurb. But cheap and cheerful. Lovely staff
Arriving late in London, we just wanted a place to sleep near the station. This hotel meets this criteria being few steps from Marylebone Station. The hotel is old but it is masking it with superficial modern cover. Lift is working but, again old. We were forced to wait for quite some time as the receptionist is busy with handling spurious fire alarms
Stayed there in May and although the room was basic it was clean. Not at all noisy and our room was right opposite the pub on the corner that was full of football supporters. It was handy for the tube right across the road and would stay there again. The staff where helpful and very nice. I paid a reasonable price and did not expect luxury. I had no complaints at all.
Great location right next door to Tube, and about 5mins walk from parking and about 20min walk from Hyde park. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and tody, however there was much traffic noise outside which can be heard in the room, and the vending machine isn't the best.
Clean room. No air con. Hot weather meant we sweltered and found a fan as we packed up to leave. If your room faces the rail station, you can expect quite a bit of noise overnight. Friendly staff are very approachable.
Had a great time staying here for two nights, a budget friendly, comfy hotel right by plenty of taxis, gorgeous gardens and the railway station, really friendly and helpful staff that answered any qualms. The only slight issue was the amount of noise that was still permeable through the windows from late night delivery vans, so definitely bare this in mind! Overall a very good stay and already planning our next trip back!
The location of the hotel is excellent, having Marylebone Tube station 100m from the hotel. The welcome was great and hotel well explained by the reception staff. The bed was superb and the room clean, although it could do with a bit of attention to detail. The price was the best bit though, real value for money. Thanks Travelodge.
Standard Travelodge so decent sized rooms (for London) and good bath shower. There is no catering here, so breakfast is limited and in a box. Room I had was pretty noisy from traffic, but good location and right next to station.
I would of given more stars,. Unfortunately, the WiFi was not up to scratch.
The WiFi was paid for but unfortunately, would not allow me to access the Internet. It connected to the ip address but not the Internet and the message said I could not access the Internet, once I had connected two devices. But I was using the devices that I had connected by a code, then email and password. The staff were friendly and helpful.
We needed a last minute hotel and Marylebone not only allowed us in at 7am but allowed us to check in early for an extra £10, given the circumstances for the last minute visit this was really appreciated. However the stay itself was not what I'd expected. One of the towels had a very large and noticeable make up stain on it. After showing the reception clerk the towel and stating that this was in an appalling state, he apologized and offered to send up new towels. When we left and returned a few hours later we still had no new towels. After pointing it out again to the same reception clerk, he apologized again and said they would send another set up. When the towels finally appeared these were also stained, not what I'd expect when we have already complained about stained towels at this point we just gave up on getting clean towels. Other than the towels we noticed even the set up was not what we'd expect of a Travelodge as the soap dispensers were placed in incorrect places. The hair and shower gel was located above the sink and the handwash was located in the shower, this was clearly not quality checked and shoddily cleaned. Overall we got a last minute room but were fairly dissatisfied by the quality of our stay despite paying over £100 for the room for a single night if at all possible we will refrain from going to this Travelodge in future as the quality was vastly subpar for the price we paid. We have given this three stars only for allowing us to check in at such an early hour. In any other circumstances this would of been two stars.
Smallest single room Ive ever been in! About 8foot by 7 with single bed. Shower consists of small wet room -drain in floor with shower in ceiling plus sink and wc. Clean but shabby decor. Comfortable bed but duvet a bit thin so kept heating on. My room was next to lifts so noisy all night. Friendly reception. Convenient location opposite Marylebone Stn. Really basic but as long as this is all you expect its fine!
Good budget hotel close to Marylebone station. Clean and modern fittings. Windows let in a bit of noise from pub on station and cold air so heating had to be turned up in room., Bathroom not very big. Breakfast in a box only at present but plans for restaurant.
Very helpful on front desk..
Unfortunately our trip to the Albert Hall was cancelled was
And wasn't informed by
The theatre until 1215
By which time we had already left and arrived in London 😔
But no issues with the travel lodge 🌞🌞😁
Excellent price for central London. Very well placed for Marylebone Station. Room was excellent - very clean and newly refurbished. Staff were great. Shall definitely use again.
good location just next to Marylebone Underground Station. Walking distance to Tesco & Sherlock Holmes Museum. Hotel looks old but room is quite spacious considering in central London. The first week we stayed at Level 5, very comfortable bed (consistent to their advertising about promoting good night sleep). Shower was small, feels like I am in Tokyo but it was good shower (water flow was strong and plenty). i realised toilet was leaking but we were about to check out so only told the front office on checking out. Not noisy passed 11pm. we were back to this hotel after our 2 weeks bus tour & got a different room in Level 1. Heater on wall was not working but we got portable heater. Dont mind it as long as it works. We would live to stay there again as it is very good value for the room & really great location.
Does what it says on the tin - other side of the road from Marylebone Station (turn right as you leave the main station entrance and you can see the hotel). Public areas were tired but I would imagine this place is constantly busy. Room was fine, small bathroom. Directly opposite is a Bar & Grill showing sport on big screens with at-seat service. Would use this hotel for an overnight stay again.
Staff were friendly and the room was great. My only complaint was that it was a little on the cold side in the room even with the heating on full. It was during the snow we stayed here so it was exceptional weather.
Great location, staff were lovely and really helpful . bit basic and small bathroom but clean and more than enough for what you pay for , would stay here again :)
Convenient for transport (Marylebone, Baker St, Edgware Rd), also bus routes, and places like Lords, Madame Tassauds. Also out of congestion zone. Rooms clean and reasonable size for two. Inexpensive. Plenty of local takeaways.
Great place to stay ideally located right next to Marylebone train station. Clean but could do with minor adjustments such as loose toilet seat and skirting of wall coming apart. Otherwise lovely staff.
Value for the money, shower was poor.
Arrived hour earlier than book in time but was given keys as room was ready which was a welcome surprise. Room had everything we needed for a one night stay n bed comfy. Shower very powerful.didn't use room service so cannot comment but staff on reception were very helpful
Lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a Double room. Room was excellent on the 4th floor (411). Dimmer switches for lights, desk, desk chair, armchair, double bed, heater, bath, good shower, plug sockets next to bed and not miles away for charging your phone over night.....all in all very satisfied.
Good location right opposite Marylebone Station. No bar or restaurant but this wasnt an issue for me.
It's okay! It'll do for a night when you just need a bed for the night. The hot water didn't work at one point and it can be noisy, hence the low rating.
Excellent location for arrival by train to Marylebone. As youleave entrance tou can see Travelodge just yards away. Staff were very friendly. Rooms clean but basic and tight for space. Needed a little TLC but very cheap so one could not complain. Great for a short break.
Stayed in a Super Room which was super clean and super quiet, with a Lavazza coffee machine, ironing board and phone charging units by the bed! Excellent! My only recommendation is better blackout curtains.
As Travelodges go, its pretty good. Room is quiet and not too hot. Granted, the building feels a little unloved, but there were towels, a decent shower and facility for making tea. Bed decent too!
Rooms small and not air conditioned. Outside is pretty noisy, so if it's a warm night, you can choose between being too hot to too noisy.
Need to work on their housekeeping - I found a Toblerone wrapper and a selection of gummy bears scattered around the room.
Really good place to stay with very friendly staff. The only downside was that they had the decorators in, which would have been nice to have been warned about. To be fair, the decorators were really apologetic. Good base for a stay in London.
Good hotel overall. Good location, nice staff, comfortable bed, clean. 3 starts because there was no hot water on my last day which was pretty annoying.
Very good! Quite, clean, safe. It's got an enviable location. The rooms are quite confortable. I recommend it to travellers who just want to experience the city and a have a simple, nice place to sleep.
Spacious room, had iron and ironing board, kettle and coffee, towels we're fine, bed comfortable, only gripe would be that it was a bit noisy, but in central London that's not unexpected
If this hotel was in Barking or Wolverhampton, I could have scored it lower, because of space and bedspace. The room size is barely 10 by 10, and the designers of this building did a good job in managing to squeeze all the basic room facility (shower/toilet, small wardrobe, refrigerator, air conditioner, television, coffee/tea-provided table and single bed) inside the room. By my own judgement, the room here is pretty expensive (I paid 133 british pounds for 2 nights) and I well booked two months in advance, so it could have been higher on arrival. The room rate here is probably this high because of the location of the hotel, in the heart of Central (Marylebone) London, just a 'walk-across-road' to the famous Landmark Hotel, London and the Marylebone (train) station.
Not the greatest hotel and price definitely too high. However hard to get something cheap in London. No restaurant so you won't get a breakfast in the morning. Nice and polite staff.
I stayed at the Travelodge for 3 days, I only needed the basic service, but it was perfect for me, room was clean and tidy, had a kettle and teabags, shower was great large space even though I chose a tiny room.
The staff were very helpful and polite and welcomed me as I have never stayed a Travelodge before, and I must say thank you, as I forgot my USB stick in the hotel room, they found it and sent it back to me, a Class Service, keep up the great work and thank you very much :)
Staff friendly. Rooms a decent size; beds comfortable; excellent location - stone's throw from Marylebone. Bathrooms adequate and showers good. It's a budget hotel and is pretty decent.
Short distance from train station. Incredibly polite, welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable, decent sized room for an affordable price. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
Very good hotel. I didn't know what to expect when I arrived but pleasantly surprised, staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel is very clean it's even got that clean smell when you walk into reception.
Good basic budget hotel, rooms and public areas clean and tidy
Denise , (assistant manager I believe) was so very helpful , friendly and welcoming at reception, allowed a slightly earlier check in too which was appreciated as we were off to a festival. Very clean rooms great location.
Rooms are pretty small, single is just big enough for a single size bed and bathroom is pretty standard, generally enough for a nights kip.
Nice central location just outside of the congestion charge zone although they do not have a car park there is one located just around the corner for a pound an hour.
Hotel is abit run down for travelodge standards but its clean & easy to get to right outside marylebone tube station.
Love that my room had a table fan as it was too hot outside. The only negative thing is that a shower curtain is missing so it wet the whole bathroom, including the loo paper
Comfortable king size bed. No ac in rooms which make them rather uncomfortable in warmer days. 30 meters to marylebone tube station. Staff quite inexperienced but helpful.
Courteous staff, comfortable room even though it overlooked Marylebone Station. Good location and only 20 mins walk from Paddington.
Stayed here back in August.
I had a pleasant experience. The guy that worked on reception late in the evening was extremely helpful. Great location. Would stay again.
Room was OK, bed uncomfortable even though they have signs saying about a good night's sleep. Didn't have a restaurant on site, so had a breakfast box which was OK, it was cereal, milk and carton of juice.
Good clean basic accommodation. Room not ready on arrival. But magically £10 later whoosh. Room ready ????
Ideal for marylebone station.easy walk into central area
I only stayed here for 1 night but my stay was very pleasant , on arrival the staff were very helpful and quickly had me sorted for my stay, my room was very clean and tidy.
basic hotel set up, very clean, room was cleaned every day while we were gone, if you're looking for somewhere to pass out after doing a lot of touristy stuff then look no further, friendly staff, don't pay for the WiFi tho it was shocking not worth it
Great location for central London city break, cost effective. Clean and tidy room with modern furnishings.
This hotel is clean and tidy, and ok to rest for a night, however there are very few facilities available in the area, one expensive bar over the road, and expensive sandwich shop at station. No fast food or takeaway shops for miles!
Not great experience to be honest but it is targeting the lower price bracket so the Dorchester it is not. Single room very small. But quiet enough and clean enough.
Great location staff were lovely. Rooms very small through. No food available in hotel but if you want a hotel in central london thats cheap and clean this is great
My partner treated me to a Birthday weekend away in London, she had booked us a room here. Its a typical Travelodge everything you need for one or two nights, nothing too amazingly fancy. Great price. But the biggest thing for me that made our stay here amazing. Was the young man on the reception desk of the night of the Friday 4th of March. I believe his name was Alex. I want to say thanks to this man, made our stay that much nicer. Brilliant, gave us advice of where is nice and local to have breakfast. Where a local tescos was so we could get chocolate and bits and pieces.
Many thanks to Alex! Hope this gets to you!
Would recommend if you are thinking of doing a short break in london. Its not 100 yards away from Marlybone station or the Bakerloo line so brilliant access to places in london.
This Travelodge was in a perfect position for what we were doing. The only thing was that my towel had black mascara on it and I don't use mascara or any makeup.
Clean small room with TV breakfast box wi fi, the room is not cleaned due to covid
I've stayed here many times, good place, great location. Thought I suggest a high floor room to avoid traffic noise in the morning.
Compact, but fine on a budget. The single rooms really are single, and a little cramped. Clean and tidy with private bathroom & shower.
Room was nice and quiet and clean. Nicely set out with thick curtains. Staff were very nice and helpful.
As travel lodges go this is pretty good. Comfortable and quiet, very clean. Coffee machine didn't work hence losing 1 star
Good location close to Marylebone station. No cooked breakfast option, small room and bathroom but didn't need anything more. Friendly staff.
Good size room, great location. A bit tatty round the edges. Some traffic noise at night. The 'breakfast box' should be avoided at all costs.
No platform for disabled. Bath and shower very old. No small fridge. No toiletries.
Too basic.
Clean and tidy
Good budget option for central London. The location is very convenient and the rooms spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Extremely clean. Very basic room. Comfortable bed. Great location!
Stayed to 2 nights, very hot in the room and no aircon, paid for wifi but only works right beside the door not the whole room
Clean and comfortable hotel close to Marylebone Station. Fareed on reception was very friendly and helpful on check in.
I found that the staff were friendly and helpfull but the room i stayed in was cold, the radiator did not work, the staff were very helpfull and gave me a heater. overall not to bad.
"Ideal and central location. Next doors...Marylebone Station. Easy access to literally everywhere. Comfy rooms, helpful staff. Small washrooms but a bit expensive for the facilities."
Value for money room. Not too cramped. There was no safe in the room. Neat and clean and extremely central.
For £49 in Central London, can't complain.
It was convienient and staff were great. Location great for underground station. Room was freezing. And there was mould on ceiling. Cleaner was nojsy when trying to get ret aswell.
Ok, for a night. Very basic rooms but seemed cleanish. Good location close to transport links.
Conveniently located for Marylebone station. Not tried the recently opened restaurant, but close to the various restaurants along Baker Street. Staff are consistently friendly and helpful.
stayed in this Travelodge, it was warm, clean, had a tv, bed comfortable and bedding fresh, staff helpful, even had tea and coffee making tray, much better than a hotel I paid £235 per night for the week before.
The hotel was really nice and the rooms where nice but it was to hot the rooms but glad it had a fan in the room but there should maybe put air conditioning in every room
Basic travel lodge facilities in central London, close to mainline station with quick access to Heathrow Airport. Not for those looking for a luxury hotel but for economy traveller.
Had a very comfortable stay there for 3 days. The room was spacious and clean, very comfortable. The staff members are very friendly and helpful.
