Room was clean, warm and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very small but functional. Selection of tea and coffee. The hotel smelt nice and the common areas were very clean with lots of hand gel to use.
Staff on thereception and breakfast were very pleasant and helpful. I've knocked two stars off for the breakfast as it was poor. I really wouldn't bother most of what I ate was cold, bacon hard and potatoe waffles dry. And the other star removed was because of poor hygiene of staff, these looked to be cleaners coming in, not the kitchen staff they were fine. But these three women came in and didn't use the hand gel and one wiped her nose several times before then picking up a plate and food, disgusting. She had a horrible cold too. I feel this public display by staff is unacceptable any time but in current climate very poor. I did mention to the receptionist as I left as he asked how my stay was.
Other than that food incident, I would stay again as its perfectly located for transport, good price and whilst not the most glamorous of places, room furniture a bit tired, it's perfect to put your head down for the night but I'd go over the road and eat at Spoons for my breakfast.

Staff on reception were polite and helpful.
The bar and restaurant area was nice and welcoming.
The corridors to the rooms are a bit grotty. Worn out and dirty looking carpets. The corridors need an overhaul.
Room was as expected and spotlessly clean. Although I had no towels and no sound coming from my TV. I was then moved rooms.
One side of the hotel faces the road. The other the train tracks close-by. Be prepared for noise from the train tracks and definitely do not stay in these rooms if you are a light sleeper. They are noisy!

I stayed here very recently as my graduation was taking place on the following day, and I was super impressed. I want to first say that Charlotte and Valentina at the reception demonstrated incredible customer service; and made me and my family feel extremely welcomed.
The room itself was brilliant too, could not fault in the slightest. Bed was comfortable, amenities were great - not sure what else I could ask for.
Location was really good as well, very close to a train station and Tower Bridge. I will definitely be staying at this Travel Lodge should I find myself in this area of London again.

Excellent friendly professional helpful smiling staff. Room well set out: coffee great. Carpets in public areas, at least on the 4 th floor leading to the superior rooms, are dreadfully stained giving a really bad first impression.
S. S.
Staff were friendly and helpful and bed was comfy, I wouldn’t recommend upgrading to a super room as the only real difference is the coffee machine and a hair dryer.
I massively recommend the pub (the minories) next door, really affordable, food is lovely, similar prices to the travelodge but much better quality.
The breakfast is quite poor quality for the price, I recommend finding a little café close by (the breakfast club spittlefield is just 10 minutes up the road)
In general, a good cheap bed for the night.
B. L.
No room service due to covid restrictions but not told this. Had to fetch things from reception. Coffee machine leaking and old filters not removed. Trains noisy. Only gave this place a 3 star due to the amazing food prepared by Ali the chef. Won't stay here again
T. B.
You can't argue with these price for the center of London.
We picked a super room and it was really good value and really close to the tube.
The place is clean and tidy staff are friendly and it's got a co-op close for drinks etc.
T. C.
Great location. Nice hotel and staff. Clean and presentable.
One minor issue, we have to order an accessible room to get two separate beds, and the beds are quite narrow, need more room to turn over. All in all a good price and stay.

Check-in after 14:00 was a little bit of a hastle. The desk staff were super super friendly! Rasheed is a great guy, made me smile after a long day, love that. It’s basic accomodation, shower is really powerful and hot, loved that. It doesn’t have plugs beside the bed, the soap isn’t amazing and no things like hair dryer, fridge and that.

Stayed in a family room, price was competitive, room was great as a base for sightseeing. Staff were friendly and helpful - at reception, during breakfast and even housekeeping.
Only real downside was the lack of towels in the room. There was a shortage of larger towels when we arrived, but housekeeping provided several extra smaller towels for us.
Even deciding to extend to a late check out was accommodated at last minute was no problem.
Just wish the price didn't jump to quite a lot more for a Saturday evening so we could have extended our stay a little longer.
A. M.
The hotel was in a great location and the rooms were comfy. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only down side my room 432 was adjacent the rail line and was a little noisy even with windows closed. Will be back again.
T. T.
Typical Travel lodge basic but clean. Good location for seeing the sights. Not a good view the room was quite dark as a building was outside our window and close to it. we were in room 108 not the road side. Couldn't get moved as fully booked. Only complaint didn't get tea making replenished but got from reception so the room wasn't cleaned in our 4 nights there. Didn't have breakfast there so can't comment.
s. m.
Great location, friendly staff. It wasn't 100% on cleanliness but I imagine the turnover of the hotel is big so it is understandable. Overall great stay and would stay there again. We had a family room and it was right at the end of the corridor, this was perfect as it meant nobody had to walk past our room which kept the little one asleep that little bit longer.
C. G.
Great value for money as usual from TL. Good location. Hotel Needs some refreshing; old carpeting, worn, smoky smelling carpets and hallways. Outside areas need cleanup. Vending machine. Luggage storage available. Good room, comfy bed. Great sound proofing from nearby trains. Pub, co op supermarket and sandwich bar nearby. Tower tube station 5 mins walk. Staff : mixed service, including gruff on the phone. Recommended.
P. B.
It's a very average standard hotel. For one night or 2 it's ok. We'll located.
However do ask for a room not facing on the railway tracks!!! We had no choice and it can be noisy. Trains run until late and start at 5.30 in the morning 🙈. But friendly staff and comfy bed.
Breakfast good enough.
Dirty shower curtain.
We went to the pub next door for dinner,The Minories, were commend it.
m.
Great Staff. Ana on reception was the only name I got, but they all had a smile and a friendly hello.
Rooms fine. Linen clean, bathroom clean. Travelodges are generally 'high mileage' places so a few signs of wear and tear. Breakfast good.
Great location.
Only thing that let it down was the carpet on the stairs. Stained and tatty. Would have been 5 stars otherwise
A. R.
Good service, staff was very welcoming The staff named Rasheed was very nice, he provide everything we wants. 5 star to him.
Thanks to him. Well done
K. N.
The bed was really comfy and breakfast was delicious and really good price. The staff were really friendly and welcoming on reception and the breakfast area. Our family room was quite small but £218 for 4 nights. I would definitely stay here again.

Second time here. Location is perfect if you want a good sight seeing tour. Everything within walking distance.
Nice rooms, clean and comfortable but just remember that you are right beside a train station and it is central London, so expect a bit of noise.
Definitely going there again.
D. R.
Central it was so close to most attractions amazing! Hence this review but does come with its problems.
Breakfast was good. There was one nice wee old man who works in the breakfast/reception compared to some the other staff who just walk past you. Also recommendation for smoking expecialy the staff at the main entrance seeing this was not ideal and smells, surely there is a back side door for smoking allocation for staff members also if one at main entrance can be moved a little away from front door as not ideal for everyone, including children walking through this.
The room was a little dark and costrophobic, not enough plug sockets at all! The table and sockets where away from mirror, had ask for Bath towels and hairdryer as was not enough in room. Additionaly, heating in rooms means can't sleep as so stuffy you wake in morning with a cold but can not leave window open either as central means noise so be prepared for this. On a whole its cheap and paying for how central it is so was not the worst but personaly needs some tlc.
s. v.
You get what you pay for and for the price it was a pretty decent stay. A bit noisy on the train track side (in the morning - not over night) but other than that it’s just a place to sleep at the end of the day so didn’t expect a lot. Bathroom was fine, bed was comfy, great location.
E.
Great location, basic but large room, nice comfortable bed, good shower, staff really nice and helpful, definitely recommend
N. H.
I stayed here with my sister and her kids. The staff are great on reception and at breakfast. I could have given 5 stars I just think housekeeping could have been better in coming up to clean the rooms and top up our coffee / tea.
T. G.
Fantastic location clean rooms. Helpful staff.
Only gripe is rooms are hot in summer no aircon but a small fan is supplied. Unable to keep windows open at night due to train noise although it can't be heard with windows closed. Would stay again though as had a enjoyable stay.
S. C.
Rated as a travelodge, compared to other travelodges, not compared to other hotels.
I would stay here again.
£55 for a night wasn't bad at all, but the room was poor. Not all the lights work, there is one single double socket, there is one mirror miles from the sockets, the shower is poor and sprays onto the ceiling.
Its really well located but just not a great place to stay, sadly.
S. P.
Honestly i wouldn't recommend anyone use this hotel. We paid for the super room and it was the size of a small box room with an ensuite. It was absolutely boiling - hotter than it was outside in 32 degree heat! I'd expect for a travelodge in Central London which has higher rates to atleast have AC in peak summer. On top of that the water couldn't make its mind up. It was hot and then cold and did not stay at a consistent temperature long enough to have a 5 minute shower. The room just felt dirty and if you weren't out of the room by 11, the room didn't get cleaned which didn't feel very relaxing for a holiday. There was a small fan In the room which was Intended to cool the room down however as it was so humid and hot there, it didn't do its job. I would say to pay an extra few pounds and stay at the Premier Inn down the road. Although it's just supposed to be a travelodge, there's no excuse for the water to be differing temperatures and for the room to be so unbearably hot compared to outside in Central!
B. C.
Very good value for money shared family room with wife and 13 year old grandson included as much as you can eat breakfast
L. C.
Room was particularly small even though we had paid to upgrade to a Super Room. Having stayed at other Travelodge hotels in the city this was a little disappointing. The cleanliness of the room was disappointing too: The shower and under sink floor was not especially clean, and we didn't dare sit on the desk chair as it had hairs that didn't belong to either of us, and questionable staining 🤢 The food served in the restaurant was of a good standard though, and the service from the bar staff was good too. Unfortunately not a place we will return to.
S. D.
Could do with some modernising. Had a noisy room, facing the trains - for this reason you have to sleep with the windows closed. No air con, but an old fan provided.
Location great - very easy access to tube and many other attractions
J. A.
My room was basically on the track. I could see and hear the C2C and DLR trains passing by my window, but once the window was closed, all the sounds of the city went away. Loved my superroom! It was small and cosy. Had coffee machine, complimentary chocolate bars, choice of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, ironing board, iron and a small fan. 32 in TV with free view channels. The shower was okay could've been more powerful and the shower curtain was a no-no. The room was also lacking a fridge. I was right by the Tower of London and Tower Pier. What more could I ask for for a night away. Room was clean, bed comfortable and we had a good night sleep. Check-in was easy and check-out was easier. Just dropped my keys in a box at the Reception. No one was there at the time even though they stated it would be staffed 24hr. I understand though as it was about 6 am. Enjoyed my stay at Travelodge and will stay again. I've stayed in many hotels but I cannot remember ever staying at a Travelodge before. Good experience though, will definitely stay again.
J. R.
Had a good stay.
Comfortable bed, nice hot shower.
Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and replenished regularly.
R. C.
Thankfully the lifts where working, because the spiral staircase, to all the levels, are very steep. Reception and the breakfast / dining area are on the ground floor. The car park was rather expensive for overnight parking at £52.00 for just 24hrs, but it was a secured car park, so I knew my car was safe, and it is independent to the hotel.
J. B.
Not the most attractive looking building but rooms were comfortable enough. Considering its location it wasn't too noisy. Room has a desktop fan and you definitely need it
t. C.
Our room wasn't the cleanest of rooms we have used before but for value for money and lovely friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast with loads of choices we would definitely use them again
L. F.
Clean nice ..10/15 min walk from tower hill station. Bar open till 1am food available. Staff very helpful and friendly.
G. S.
Excellent room, clean and very hot shower. comfortable bed and slept well. Tower bridge 4 mins away.
c. g.
The hotel is a great location close to The Tower of London and Tower bridge and TowerHill
tube station …The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and so helpful I have stayed here twice this year and each time have had a very pleasant stay …the only thing this time was I upgraded and was
Expecting a room on the quieter 5th floor but ended up on 3rd in a room with disabled facilities apart from that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be retuning before the end of the year🌺
T. B.
It's ok for a budget hotel but not one of the best in the Travelodge hotel chain..Very dated, bathroom has zero water pressure impossible to have a proper shower or even wash your hands.. very moody unhelpful staff.... The only thing good about this hotel is the location... But having said that there are plenty of other better, nicer Travelodges dotted around central London.
G. E.
Great location. Clean room. Shower curtain could be a little longer as virtually impossible to keep the bathroom floor dry .
S.
Just had a great stay for Remembrance weekend ,3 days with breakfast, staff are very helpful and attentive, great location easy walk for tube mainline and DLR,will use again and again
Y. H.
Good location, room ample for one nights stay. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff.
E. C.
Great budget hotel beside London Tower. Very close to Towerhill tube.
Staff are so helpful and accomodating.
Ask for an odd numbered room, we wished we had asked to be moved as the train station is on the even side - this wouldn't have been a problem, but due to the heat wave we had to keep window open and it was a bit noisy. But all in all a good spot for business or leisure
N. G.
All good, clean & good location. No air conditioning which made it unbearable the night we stayed (a rare heatwave day in the UK). Normal UK weather would be no issue.
A. A. L. F.
Great hotel tucked away. Lovely big room, comfy bed. Very clean. Friendly staff. Great location just 4 min walk from Tower bridge Had 2 night stay and will definitely be back.
M. M.
Small rooms.but clean and quiet ..buffet is good and location is excellent ..short walk to tower of London
T. D.
Usual London Expensive Saturday night but Sunday cheap as chips.... Good Quality hotel.... Great Bed.... Good Size Room...
s. h.
Clean, tidy and friendly team. Will stay here again. Late night bar staff were really chatty and fun.
P. J.
Simple, smart and tidy. Good location and a great price for London. Breakfast half decent too.
A. P.
Super nice accommodation by the river right next to the Tower bridge.
Definitely good value for money, clean cozy hotel with a super kind staff.
Personally I feel I want to say thanks to Monia at the reception, very sweet person that made my stay even nicer :)
P. K.
Standard hotel. Could do with more plugs and a bedside table. Staff were really good and friendly.
R. B.
Lovely people at reception when arrived helped us very efficiently....Room was clean and lovely except far to hot and fan not any good. Breakfast was lovely lots of choice 😋
S. C.
4 stars only because of a lady called ‘Tuli’ (not sure If that’s how you spell the name) made up for the inconvenience that I had upon arrival when I’ve been checked into a dirty (If only that) room. If it weren’t for her I’d rate this hotel 2 stars as the room facilities aren’t up to standards. Ali in housekeeping was also helpful, location of the hotel is also good about 5minutes walk from Tower Bridge.
A. L.
Really great place to stay that is close to the city and the main places plus loads of bars, cafes and restaurants
P. H.
A couple of little things that annoyed me, however the price, and comfort of the bed was good enough for me.
H. G.
Good travel lodge. Agata on reception was great and very helpful :)
C. S.
Not expensive but could do with a bit more attention to cleanliness.... behind bathroom doors and the grout in shower etc.
C. H.
The only observation I can make is that it is next to a tune and train line which runs late into the night and restarts early morning. The soundproofing of the windows is quite poor so if you're a light sleeper or find noise a problem then probably best to avoid this location. Other than that a good hotel and one which has a good hot water supply unlike a lot these days where its tepid!!! For info the hotel does have two disabled parking spaces by the front door. These were being used by two builders vans staying at the hotel when we arrived, naughty boys!!!
J. S.
For a central london hotel expected a bit more for the price I paid. The room was very small and not enough lighting. Bathroom wasn’t too bad but shower curtain was very flimsy and almost all the water got on to the floor. Kettle is very outdated too. Pro: very close to westferry DLR station and good location. But this does mean if you keep your window open the noise from the trains are loud.
J. V.
Wonderful staff, but the travel lodge itself is dirty and tired. The hall carpets have what look to be sick stains and are dirty!! Downstairs eating area is clean enough though. The bedroom was ok. Pillows were shockingly bad, and the bathroom was far from wonderful. We had room 135, which being at the end of a hallway was nice and quiet. Every cloud has a silver lining eh....... as we agreed with the reception staff. Staff get 9 out of 10. Accommodation, 3 out of 5. If my review is helpful, please like it
C. G.
Good value for money place to stay in Central London. Lovely staff who went over and above to help us during our stay.
S. H.
This is a great hotel for the money. Cheap, but clean with great staff.
J. H.
The receptionist had a lovely smile on her face when we arrived, we arrived early and our room was ready so we didn't have to wait around. Our room was lovely
2. C. D.
Great location if your visiting central london everything is within walking distance .
K. B.
Lovely stay and staff Valentina was very helpful with check in and check out !!
A. A.
staff were friendly, bedrooms were clean, however we were not given a duvet for some reason just a bedsheet. the staff brought this up when we asked though so it's fine!
T. H.
Great location! Cheap weekend stay close to everything we wanted to do. No thrills just a nice comfortable bed after a long day!
C. M.
Good location for business in the City or tourists looking for value. Given you won't be spending much time in the hotel location is key. Great spot for seeing the sights - stone's throw from the Tower of London and Tower Bridge... Also consider when attending an expo at Excel - nextdoor to the DLR, so have the day at the exhibition and the night in the city; best of both worlds!
M. A.
The staff where so helpful especially wren, very accommodating, there was a fan out in my room as it was boiling, forgot my charger and wren was very helpful putting customers first 5 star service along with Eric who was also very helpful thank you both very much :)) will be back to see you soon, (beds very comfy and room very very clean)
J. H.
Booked for 2 nights in November and it was a good stay. Clean, easy access and friendly team. Room was Clean and had all needed for a good stay. No problem getting a hair dryer from reception. Food in the evening was good value and breakfast was good value and good quality. Well worth it. It's literally on the dlr line I took ear plugs but didn't need them. Would recommend
R. M.
It's quiet a decent place for a business trip. Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. The fact that there was no air con make it a little hot during the night. It's really close to transports so you can get almost anywhere in London from the hotel. The breakfast is good with good quality and enough variety. The staff was super friendly and nice. In my opinion it is what you need for a business trip.
K. H.
Great location and a huge variety of placea to eat and drink close by. Close to walks along the river and access to the tube services.
D. S.
Good location and good price, although it is worth while booking as far in advance as possible to get the best rates. No air conditioning, but acceptable with this price point, again noisy next to the train lines but acceptable at the price. To be honest I had three good nights of sleep and it was hot and noisy but a more quiet and air conditioned hotel in this location at this price would be hard to find. I paid £230 for three nights deluxe room, Friday to Sunday in late July.
D. F.
Depends what you need but we just needed a crash pad for a party day and night. Rooms are clean staff are helpful. Breakfast was amazing. 80 quid for 2 with breakfast in central London is a bargain for us. We did not hear the trains so I guess it depends where your room is. Top marks for us!
A. B.
Very friendly staff and the room was a nice size. Few items was not included with the room which I would of expected (such as hairdryer). Hotel is very close to local shops, tube station and tourist attractions (tower bridge and the tower of London are less than 5 minute walk away).
Price was very competitive and was the main reason we chose this hotel. I will definitely be returning to this hotel!
L. W.
I was originally allocated room 302 (which would have been given 1 star), right by the train line the noise was awful. In addition to this the room had a rancid odour similar to vomit. When I looked the bed sheets had brown stains on and did not appear to be clean. I complained and was immediately moved to another room on the other side. This room was much more pleasant and peaceful. The staff were very helpful and friendly at check in / out and breakfast. Great location too.
G. R.
Good location for visiting London. Rooms looking a bit tired
M. N.
Not great. When I arrived the toilet had already been used. No cupboards or draws. Some coat hangers. I'm in a room with 2 single beds pushed together and when you sit on one they both move. They are also very low to the ground. The room seems set out for disabled access so don't know that may be to help. Bathroom is definatally disabled friendly. One 3 plug sockets in entire room one with a heater plugged in and a twin next to desk for kettle and whatever else you need. That's a bit disappointing as the room is quite large and I had to charge my phone quite fare away from the bed. That was probably for the best as I had to get up to turn the alarm off :-)
L. D.
Very nice staff. Rooms small but omfortable.
Advertising says Air Conditioning as an included amenity. However this is only in the lobby lol. In the summer, rooms are sweltering hot. Found it hard to sleep.
Quite good sound proofing if you close the window, but closing the window isn't really an option in the summer.
Rooms do not have fridges, so no cold water in the hot hot room. No hair dryer or iron, however you can pick those up at reception.
Showers have good pressure, but shower curtains are really thin, so they suction to your body, and floor gets soaking wet. No bath.
Food quite good for a great price. Unlimited breakfast and kids eat free (up to 2)
Room price very good for an excellent and accessible location in London. Next to Fenchurch st station, DLR, and Tower Hill Tube.
S. L.
The room was basic but clean and nice.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Food was nice and reasonably priced.
No phone in the room to call reception.
No air conditioning. A desk fan was provided, but not really adequate.
Power sockets were on the other side of the room from the bed, this made it awkward to charge and use devices from bed.
WiFi was pretty bad, even after paying for it.
J. S.
Decent quality room and very comfortable bed. Quiet at night but woken at seven by inconsiderate noisy people leaving room. Large hotel in a decent location and a nice powerful shower. Witherspoon one minute away did a nice breakfast.
P. Q.
My best Travelodge experience yet. My room was comfortable and felt recently refurbished. Coffee machine and ironing board, although the board was a little small for shirts. I have had far worse breakfasts although the coffee was watery, even though it was a decent brand. The tesm were friendly. Overall very pleasantly suprised and I would/will stay again. My room didn't face the train tracks.
w. b.
Great location. Back rooms are noisy due to trains constantly passing.
B. B. (.
Travel lodge was very close to Tower Hill underground,so just five minutes walk away. The staff were excellent. Warm and welcoming. We were too early for check in but they took our luggage and locked it in a store room, we then went for lunch at Whetherspoons, which was also nearby. Our room at the hotel was lovely, very clean and fresh. Tea and coffee facilities, fluffy towels, perfect for a short break. It was a special offer so also very reasonably priced! We had dinner in the hotel's restaurant, nice family friendly menu. The price included buffet breakfast ,full English and continental. Great experience. This hotel is also close to, Tower of London, Tower Bridge Experience, HMS Belfast and some lovely little shops! We had a fabulous time!!
D. S.
The best I could as is that the room was clean and comfortable with all that I needed. The location however left a lot to be desired. The room I had was next to the rail line and in London that means a train every 15 minutes and even though there were two sets of windows there was still substantial noise. The staff were mostly pleasant and helpful. Overall it wasn't bad but could do better.
T. M.
Happy staff showed through to the service. Room was clean. Bed lovely. Once both windows shut there was no train sound. 10 out of 10.
Food great.
Always got a smile from the staff. Thank you guys and girls :-)
G. W.
Nothing special but but it's a Travelodge! Siutaed near Tower of London it's one of the most reasonably priced hotels in the area. The breakfast buffet is a bargain and all you can eat and kids go free. Staff were really friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms were clean and tidy. I did like the fact there was a proper coffee maker in the room.
L. B.
Great location.
Staff are very helpful. I have a chronic illness which leaves me in a lot of pain. The first night here I had a terrible night. I woke up in lots of pain. My husband said the bed was comfortable but it wasn't for me. I went to reception to see what they could do. The lovely member of staff walked me back to my room and said "Leave it with me" Five minutes later she knocked on the door with an extra duvet for me to fold up and sleep on and an extra pillow. She said I could have as many more as I needed and to let her know if it doesnt work and they'll try something else.
If you have a chronic illness and need extra comforts then this is the place for you.
J. N.
Very easy to get into central London from here and most of the staff were lovely
A. A.
Easy to get to. Warm efficient welcome.
Basic but clean and tidy room. Bathroom compact with slippery shower cubicle. Not easy to get shower gel out of the wall mounted dispenser so bring your own.
Breakfast was ok. Coffee from a machine was surprisingly good.
Staff friendly and helpful.
D.
Nice and clean hotel with reasonable size rooms with the essentials such as coffee and tea making facilities, iron and iron board and HD television. Breakfast was good with a choice of all you can eat continental or tradition full english. Great value for the price.
D. K.
Like all the others but not bad for that. Comfortable bed but no air conditioning which makes for a warm night at certain times of the year. Also significant train noise though not all night means you can't open the window to let London's delightful 'fresh' air in unless you user earplugs or sleep like the dead.
D. A. K.
Great and clean hotel with fairly spacious room.
Real value for money. This is not a lodge although name looks like that. It is a three star hotel.
My only suggestion is that they leave the ground floor public toilet open without having to request the receptionist to open it and that they must accept items into fridge without prior permission from manager.
A. S.
Rashed was a great host, super welcoming and friendly!
A. C.
Comfortable clean room, small refreshments provided. Had all you can expect from a hotel. Very close to work, stayed over after Christmas party. Price very pocket friendly for a central London hotel. My floor (2nd) was very quiet and had a peaceful sleep. 2 mins walk from Tower Hill tube or RV1 bus right outside hotel. Would definitely stay again.
J. o.
Lovely people at reception. Was put in a room virtually next to the train line. Had to leave windows open cos of the heat which didn't help matters. Terrible. Didn't sleep all night. Ask for a room on the other side away from the train station for sure. Breakfast was a buffet, hot and cold and that was OK. Not sure Croissants were freshly made but they were happy to heat it up if requested. For what was paid and location, it was okay.
T. v. R.
Good price - quality. Room was a bit noisy, so if you're a light sleeper I would opt for a different hotel. But for us it was absolutely fine! Good location, close to two tube stops and other public transport. Definitely recommend
L. D.
Lovely staff, good transport links. It's a travel lodge so usual cheap bits but not bad really. Would be 5* but the corridor floor is very loud when people go past and of course its within touching distance from the train tracks. Good food though, nice breakfast and again very nice staff.
I. C.
Stayed here overnight on a business trip and was very impressed with the staff on reception and the quality of the room. I found the Venue to be extremely clean with great amenities full stop the food is as you would expect from a Travelodge but it's certainly adequate and the location being only a five minute walk from Tower Bridge and a Stones throw away from the Tower of London makes for a perfect location for business or pleasure. I would highly recommend staying.
P. P.
On my arrival Staff members were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms nice and comfortable for the price you pay.Easy access to central London with good location of the hotel itself. Well recommended 👌🏼
R. O.
The location is great for the Tower and adjoining area. The only downside I can think of is the lack of air conditioning. The place was like an oven with the room exceedingly warm, a fan was provided but that only moves hot air around. The window opened but is only tiny and the street noisy.
A nice hotel at a good price for London, but avoid it when we have freak hot weather!

Travelodge are what they are, a really good budget chain. A couple of minutes walk from the tube and 5 minute walk to tower bridge itself. Great staff, we were well looked after during our two night stay.
O. O.
The room provides the basic need ie bed, shower etc. Not great views but typical of city hotels. Staff are helpful, not keen to go above and beyond however. Breakfast pretty standard.
K. P.
One of the best in this chain. OK Tower view can only be got by walking round the corner but the rate I got and the decent facility makes it a bargain. One point to note, it is very close to one of the main rail lines into central London so, if you are a light sleeper, request a room on the road side of the hotel. When trains are moving you'll certainly know it!!
A. K.
Just average. Average food, average service. On arrival I was greeted by a disinterested member of staff who couldn't find my booking. Eventually found it after reading my confirmation email. Room was clean but the bedside lights didn't work. I suppose you get what you pay for.
J. L.
Staff pleasant and helpful. Room basic but ok. Could have been cleaned better. Evening meal good apart from a tiny portion of peas. Breakfast chaotic but staff very apologetic. Food was good when it arrived and crockery/cutlery was found!
T. W.
Very basic rooms. Since they have made expensive super rooms the standard family rooms are awful. No where to put your belongings out so for the four nights we spent there had to live out of the suitcase . The family rooms are tiny with one double bed and a single there was absolutely zero room and was claustrophobic . At a £100 a night will never stay there again or any travelodge !!
D. L.
Rooms aren't as big as other travelodge or premier inn. Clean, tidy and quiet though. Reasonable food for buffet breakfast and bar opeb till late. All in all an ok place to stay.
Reception staff were very friendly and the booking system and staff helpfulness for me were very good. This made my room.booking and check-in experience very good especially as my other hotel had let me down.
B. C.
Location is good. Staffs are friendly. Services are just OK, thus I would like to rate this overall as OK.
D. C.
What a great place to stay. I stayed here in February and I was warm and comfortable in bed every single night - and I am inclined to feel the cold! The rooms were clean and well maintained and the shower was powerful enough to be enjoyable. The location is amazing. I stayed on the fifth floor and there was no street noise at any time of the day or night. The staff are friendly and helpful, when I arrived, soaked to the skin, there was a slight confusion with my booking. The manager got it sorted out for me in a few minutes - and gave us delicious coffee while we waited. There is a cafe/bar that serves 24 hour snacks and does dinner and an all you can eat breakfast buffet. The dinners are very nice, the portions are rather smaller than you usually get when you eat out but the food is really nice. The all you can eat breakfast - wow. It isn't just good, it is awesome. When I got back to Nottingham I went in my local branch to see if it was open to non residents. You can't be more satisfied than that. Having stayed there for a couple of nights in February I immediately booked to go for 5 nights in March. That alone probably tells you all you need to know.
It doesn't mention this on the website, but I found it very helpful to know. They will look after your bag until midnight in return for a £2 donation to a cancer charity. You can arrive as early as you want to, dump you luggage and come back in the evening to check in. This is a great service and even helps a good cause.
D. H.
Location is great. Good access to transport links. Ideally situated close to Tower Bridge and Tower gateway stations. Staff are good. Rooms are exactly what you get in every other travelodge. Would defiantly recommend if you are staying in London for a couple of nights
B. H.
A decent experience here, staff were incredibly friendly. The location is great to get to Shoreditch and also to an underground stop only a few minutes away so don't worry about distance from the city centre. The Thames is only a short walk away too, as it is very close to Tower Bridge. Nice views outside if you get lucky with the room too. Quite clean inside, not the best maintained with some stains to floors and slightly broken things here and there. Really wish there was proper soap and shower gel provided is my own big gripe!
S. R.
Reasonably decent accommodation with 24 hour reception. Near subway. Near the College of Psychiatrists making it good for conference access. Main drawbacks are the following: noisy - trains and chainsawing going on till early hours of the morning right that carried even to the top floors when windows open, which may be necessary on hot nights; cleaning was ok but when I arrived there were unidentified pills on the floor that weren't removed after two days of staying (had to clean myself) ; not easy to find on Google maps; no phone in room; had to prompt to get things like replacement toilet rolls.
p.
The room was lovely although we had a room next to the train station it wasn't too noisy once the windows were closed. The staff were very helpful and i even played a game of jenga with the supervisor! Would definitely stay again.
M. G.
Location is fantastic, very central which is good if you are looking to do touristy things. Room was tidied and new bedsheets/towels provided every day. However, the room could use a bit of an update and bed had a dip in the middle which made it uncomfortable to sleep on.
Ģ. K.
It is a good hotel for a good price.
The breakfast was the same each day. Really, the same breakfast for a week should get a bit boring.
The payment method is really weird, as I needed to pay while booking the room and once arriving. Still, after 9 since the payment I made while arriving, and no refund was made
T. B.
Nice, comfortable, no-frills hotel with easy access to Tower Hill & nearby attractions, as well as Southwark. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms are fairly priced and fairly sized. Comfy beds. No wow factor and the drinks in the bar are a little expensive (from a non-Londoner's point of view) but I'd happily stay here again for business or pleasure.
B. B.
The location of this hotel was fantastic! The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. My fiance and I were rarely there, but it was a great room. The rate was great and I would definitely recommend it to people. It isn't fancy, but for the rate, it was a great deal I felt.
S. M.
Great location. Very fast check-in. Stayed in a superior room which are worth the upgrade from standard. No air conditioning so can be noisy with the window open. Overall a very comfortable and very reasonably priced stay.
J. H.
Had a lovely stay. The room was nice and everything we needed. Breakfast was spot on and in a superb location. 2 minutes away from Tower Hill tube. And not far from bars and restaurants. Cracking pub next door and Tower Bridge and London Tower right out side.
S. E.
If you need a cheap hotel at the eastern end of London's traditional tourist attractions, this is as good as anywhere. The hotel is pretty basic and compact. The few interactions I had withvthe staff were friendly. My room was ok, but the window handle was only loosely held on by one screw, the carpet was wet in the corner when I arrived, and the only plug socket was loosely screwed to the wall. The were some small black marks on my bed sheet although it appeared to be clean. Breakfast was pleasant enough, however the toast was the worst kind of toast made from cheap thin bread that never toasts well. For one night only this hotel was ok, but I wouldn't really have wanted a longer stay.
N. S.
Transferred here at the last minute as my original hotel booked was over capacity (very frustrating). However this was a reasonable experience; the room, although small, was tidy and the bed comfy. The room was very hot so slept with the windows open, luckily I had earplugs with me, as it overlooks the railway tracks so was very noisy.
B. C.
Very good location for exploring Tower of London. Has a very nice pub next door and a weatherspoons opposite. Staff are very friendly. Rooms are comfortable and very reasonable. Would definitely stay again.
T. B.
Standard hotel. Clean. Good bed. Shower a bit of a dribbler. Have stayed here before and will probably do so again. Convenient for city. Half the rooms overlook the railway lines, but I didn't find it disturbing.
S. B.
Clean and rooms were nice but the staff were a bit hit and miss, some were very attentive and others clearly had no clue what they were doing. They were not rude just not skilled in hospitality. Breakfast was a bit basic with only scrambled eggs and the beans tased very salty like it was the cheapest they could find. I had one evening meal here and it wasn't the best but not terrible either.
G. E.
A good travelodge. Cheap good location. Easy access to tube.
I've stayed a few time on work. Super rooms are great. Clean and tidy.
Staff a re always friendly.
I've never eaten here so cant comment but plenty of good places to eat nearby.
One of the better travelodge I stay in.
D. J.
Brilliant stay, friendly staff and clean rooms. Only issue I faced was that some of the items on the menu were unavailable (no longer serving steak sandwich and ran out of half chicken!). However this was not significant enough of effect my overall stay, great experience!
D.
Rooms are clean, soaps dispensers are sometimes empty and not replaced for over 5 days. Some of the desk fans are broken or are damaged and have not been replaced also. The food is good quality. Excellent location for me as it's a few minutes walk to one of my places of work.
M. K.
Good location to explore that side of London. Clean rooms and good price when we booked. Right next to railway but you could not hear it in your room. Would recommend.
v. w.
The staff are amazing. Very friendly. Nothing is to much trouble for them. I stay there for work and always feel safe. Food is what you expect for this chain. I have no complaints which is why I always return. Max of a 5 minute walk to the tube. Hotel is again 5 minutes walk from the Tower of London .
M. M.
I use a wheelchair and the staff were very helpful and very friendly. I was allocated the disabled bathroom which was extremely clean. The room was basic but for the price was good value for money. We ate in the restaurant on four nights and the meals were good.
M. C.
In my opinion, one of the best Travelodges in London
G. K.
I spent one night there during my business trip to London. Quite cheap place considering its location. It was clean but not in its best condition. For example in the morning I had to take a very hot shower because cold water didn't work at all. The view from my window was exactly as on the attached photo. To be honest it wasn't a total disaster, it was clean and in the central location. That's it.
M. R.
One of the worst check in experiences.
Staff did not know how to do / what.
While waiting, someone without a booking wanted to boor direct at the desk. This seems not possible. He was told to just google for hotel name and he would find the website..
Room is what you can expect for this price in London.
F. T.
Friendly staff and very coutios just popped in for coffee on my break and felt very welcome.
A. T.
Fairly basic hotel facilities that meet most needs, the rooms have ensuite facility and usual tea and coffee making and TV. Not the best views of London but it serves it's purpose. Breakfast is a decent buffet and comes at an added extra. Good for visiting central London attractions like the tower and tower Bridge.
H. O.
Good location near to Tower of London and tube station. Good breakfast on offer - would opt for lite breakfast as ample. Super room was disappointing - quite small and shower nothing special. No soap in shower dispenser, no air con and room quite noisy with window open. Super room on special offer but would not pay extra for this in future
J. W.
Room was so hot from the heater left on. It took ages to cool down with the window open, but slightly annoying was the road noise. Very good location if your main destination is around tower bridge or More London and Brick Lane. Staff very polite and helpful, clean and tidy room.
h.
Good clean room. Comfy bed. Great for a short or longer stay. Had a room next to overground rails but hardly any noise! Only down side is having to pay for wifim
N. N.
Good location to explore Lindon with Tower Hill station 5 minutes walk away. The breakfast was good, the rooms were clean but I thunk they will need refurbishment soon or at least a lick of paint.
Customer service was good.
I. S.
Hotel staff some really helpful others not. Rooms warm and cosy and clean. Towels limited, struggled for extra bedding and brew facilities not refilled. OK for cheap accommodation but not usual travel lodge standard
T. B.
Decent Travelodge, staff are really good and helpful. Rooms are a good size, includes tea and coffee. This one is situated near to a tube line so you can hear it rumble past from 6am until midnight'ish
C. F.
I often stay here on a when vacationing in London for £30-£40 a night (that's mostly for Sundays, I've paid more for other nights, Sunday and Monday nights are a good combination for a cheap two-night city break) you'd be daft staying anywhere else. Perfect location, The Minories pub across the way offers a pleasent alternative to the hotel breakfast at £6 for a breakfast barm and hot drink, the alternative is the hotel's "all you can eat" buffet at £9.25 which includes unlimited hot drinks. The trains are slightly audible, even with windows closed, but it's never been enough to keep me awake and I normally sleep with the windows open (even in winter). The tube is about 2 mins walk away and the Tower of London is 10/15. Stayed here four times and will continue to do! A full 5/5 - couldn't recommend it more!
N. B.
Very clean and comfortable hotel ideal for a one or two night stay, our room had usb charging points. Did not eat here as plenty of eateries near by. Hotel in an excellent position for tower of London tower bridge, the shard and HMS Belfast
A. D.
Room was as expected. Child's bed set up. However sink was very slow to drain. Shower handle was rusty and needed painting. Shower was good temp and flow. Breakfast was better than expected. Loved the sausages.
I. C.
Allocated a room on the side that looks onto the railway track. Being a bit warm outside, the room was too hot. Opening the window (the permitted 3 inches), resulted in the deafening sound of trains. OK hotel, clean etc, but don't forget your ear plugs, except in winter.
T. E.
The hotel Is situated in a bit of a odd location find but easily accessible. The room we had was for a disabled person although we didn't it. The was massive compared to most and with a large walk in shower. Overall a great stay just found it ridiculous that when we arrived we arrived @13:50 and we weren't allowed to check-in or we would have to pay extra £10 per person for just 10mins ridiculous
B. J.
Verry overrated shower not much pressure especial as we upgraded because of the shower
Room at the back so windows needed to be close at all time due to the noise of trains.
But overall a good night.
Breakfast ok! cold mushrooms and really tasteless hasbrowns
J. J.
The place was clean and both front desk and cleaning staff were very lovely to deal with in person.Wifi and food price was a bit too much for what you get so if you are staying there I would suggest pop for breakfast and free wifi across the road to weatherspoons. Personally felt the bathroom was clean but had odd stale smell in it that I wasnt too keen on also detergent they used on bed covers had very strong flowery scent so bed was clean and comfy but the smell really did make me feel queazy as Im not used to strong scent detergents like this. Would recommend if you are looking for cheap and friendly accomodation literarly few minutes from the underground, but its ok I wouldnt go for their breakfast now and had free wifi in cheaper hostels before so this was a bummer!!!
K. “. C.
Completely enjoyed this Travelodge. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The assistant manager was awesome! The location itself is PERFECT! Although this location offers food, if you want something else you don't need to go far. There is a Weatherspoon across the street. Another pub behind the hotel. A Tesco Express is right around the corner. The Tower Bridge is literally right there. Easy access to DLR right next to the hotel. Rates are great for a central London hotel.
Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Although they inform you about traffic noise on the website, that was never an issue. I will definitely stay here again. My room was a Super Room with one bed. I would love to see the other rooms. It was overall a great hotel, and close to the purpose of my travel within a 15min walk.
A. W.
A very clean and tidy hotel in close proximity to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. There is no air conditioning so the rooms can become very warm in summer. There are good shower facilities and a hearty all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet available.
A. N.
Stay was awesome, clean and nice room. Very helpful staff and the location was very close to Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Easily and well connected to tube / bus (5 - 10 mins) walk. Highly recomment to book in advance.
Staff very friendly especially they even kept our bags after we checked out whilst other hotels - dont!. Felt welcoming.
R. B.
I came as I was stranded .
Alex & Sylvester attendants helped me by assisting me to charge my phone and reassurance to me for safety in inner London . I had to use toilet facilities no issues as they were so accommodating to my female needs .
Brilliant customer service and excellent understanding.
R. L.
Its a travel lodge. Clean and basic but good value for the location. Rooms have no air conditioning so i suggest thinking about this when booking over a hot period.
H. P.
Reception area and standard room was clean and comfortable. Hotel surprisingly quiet even though it is right next to the DLR tracks. Staff were helpful and friendly. Close to Tower Hill tube and Tower Gateway DLR stops. Little bit of maintenance needed here and there- shower head leaked slightly and the bed base squeaked every time you turned over. Pro-tip: If you stay here you are 20 mins walk (or a couple of tube stops) from Borough Market. Go here for food - all food - and you won't be disappointed.
p. d.
Cheap cheafull and well worn..needs a lot of money spending but for the price you can't go wrong.
L. P.
Basic accommodation, rooms cleaned most days. Staff really nice. Breakfast ok. Great location with good transport links and close to top attractions like Tower Bridge.
N. C.
Walked into my room after check in and somebody else was inside! Could have been embarrassing. When got the correct room, it was adequate enough. Shower smelt a bit musty. Corridor smelt of body odour.
P. R.
Rooms were clean and relatively spacious, but there was only plug socket on the other side of the room from the bed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bar area was a bit grim. Great location.
p.
Good location with lots of transport links. Room was clean but incredibly hot considering. There was a fan provided in the room though. We've stopped there before and will stay again I'm sure.
K. B.
Staff very helpful even in these difficult times, room spotless, really enjoyed our stay
S. G.
Stayed here when in London every time for the last three years, we love it and keep coming back. Breakfast is always great and although the rooms can get quite hot in the summer they come with a good fan to use to cool down. I would highly recommend staying here as it is very close to Tower Hill tube station and DLR, but the dinners here on an evening aren't great and there aren't many places to eat on a night, but other than this its a fantastic, and often great value for money, place to stay!
J. C.
As transferred guests from another Travelodge we didn't get the twin rooms we had booked. However the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms clean and well stocked.
H. S.
Good for a cheap one night stay when you cant get to the last train home after a concert but the tube lines are very close and with no aircon you need the windows open in the summer so light sleepers beware.
A. W.
You have a choice of a room facing the Docklands light railway, or a main road, no air conditioning. But you get what to pay for and this is central London. It's clean, staff are nice, food is acceptable.
C. P.
Great location and price, room faces the railway line near Fenchurch Street station so can be slightly noisy but sound isolation pretty good. 24 hour bar and snacks are available so that's another positive.
P. D.
listen this is a basic hotel that is well located no sophistication but the staff do try so wrll to make it happy and welcoming. Dont expect a lot after that though breakfast was goid value and it is bery clean
N. H.
Travelodges are not Ritz Carltons so it would be grotesque to assume luxury, however there should be a minimum standard of cleanliness adhered to at any guest-welcoming establishment. Unfortunately, the Travelodge London Central Tower Bridge has dipped below this threshold. The rooms are dustier than an outback road. My sinuses are infuriated. If you are asthmatic I would consider staying somewhere else. Having said that, the staff are fairly decent and the beds are comfy despite the nebula of filth enveloping you. They just need to invest in a vacuum cleaner.
A. H.
Stayed here a bank holiday weekend and for the price it couldn't be beaten. 2 minutes walk from Tower Hill. Yes there is noise from the railway but look at the price! The room was spotless both days and Joyce on the bar was lovely!
N. D.
It is what it is. On the night I stayed there it was really hot and there was no aircon in the room I was in just a small fan that did not cool things down. Breakfast was a bit bland too, but the pub next door is brilliant
B. W.
Suddenly not such a great TL. I stay at lots of TL's and I have to say there are better ones. Little things like small'ish rooms, no USB points on the plugs, blocked shower tray drain, but the worse point is the noise both from road and in particular from the adjacent railway. On the plus side the location is good.
j. T.
Staff really good, linen although looked clean, and smelled clean, had a few stains on towels, quilt cover, but I think laundry missing, and something I'd miss at home. No problems, would stay again
T. O.
Great Location , reasonably priced, easy access to attractions ,reception staff were very helpful and friendly (props especially to Joseph ) .i did have to wait longer than the allocated time for check in for a room to become available and they could do with air con but overall I would recommend.
J. F.
Decent enough, cheap for centralish London, small warm room, wanted to open the window but railway line into fenchurch street right behind hotel so noise was an issue. Helpful staff and decent bar.
N. C.
Tower Hill travelodge, as soon as we arrived,we were greated with big smiles and very friendly chatter.the room was a double on the 4th floor, very clean and tidy. When we asked for just a plain sheet for the bed, it was no problem. Didnt use the breakfast facilities this time, but in the past it has Been brilliant. They staff clear away quick. I can find no fault in this travelodge and staff. I left behind something, when I realised that I had,I made a quick call to them via the website, they then found me back to say it had been found so I went and picked it up. Luckily I hadn't gone very far.
B. M.
Comfy rooms, good breakfast. The rooms aren't massive but we didn't really need that as we were out kost of the day exploring. Good location.
A. S.
Polite, helpful staff; clean room. However, the carpets are in dire need of changing and there is no reasonably priced parking, unless you are visiting on a bank holiday or Sunday
J. L.
Rooms are clean, if a little sparse. Some noise from the nearby train station if you're on the wrong side of the building. As far as Travelodges go, this is a pretty decent one
A.
Good rooms with helpful staff. Decent prices although one side of the hotel is next to the railway so you will hear the train very regularly. This will wake you up.
S. T.
Good location. Comfortable beds. In general clean room. Few hangers and no other place to leave dresses and things. Every day something was missing (towels, etc.)
A. M.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially Millie and Vimbai. They made our trip to London very special and memorable, especially as we were travelling with young children who still talk about how kind you all were. We enjoyed it so much that we have all booked to return in August. A big thank you to you all.
M. C.
Price and location were decent, but the hotel key cards kept failing leaving us stood outside, and you don't get a hairdryer/iron/ironing board in your room so have to go downstairs and wait while they find one that isn't broken.
K. M. (.
Not too bad for a cheap London hotel. I only ever stay here overnight for work. It is very close to the DLR railway line, but the noise is not too bad if you have a room on the higher floors or the opposite side of the hotel, especially if you keep the windows closed. Breakfast is usually very good.
T. M.
Nice enough hotel. Comfortable, clean and within easy access of 2 tube stations. Coffee machine and pods in room as well as kettle and tea making facilities.
P. G. M.
A bit noisy with the train, but during the night is ok. Really friendly staff
S. C.
Room was clean. Decor very slightly dated, but for a budget hotel was acceptable.. room was big enough and toilet was modern. The breakfast buffet was horrible however. Only let down.
V. I.
Very friendly and helpful staff, great customer service, friendly and polite
W. D.
Nice and clean. Close to tube station. I didn't expect an iron and ironing board in a budget hotel room, but its was there. Good improvement over my previous stays.
D. P.
London great (but also bad), next to tower gateway DLR and tower hill tube. Rooms have been modernised and branded as superior, and to be fair, it was a touch above the normal Travelodge quality. Kettle and coffee pod machine in room, and a 2 finger KitKat. Breakfast good, shower pressure average. Only disappoint was the noise levels from the trains. Rooms weren't very soundproof so prepare to be woken early by the c2c trains that come past your room window 😂.
N. K.
Very basic hotel with decent rooms. I stayed on the first floor and even with closed windows there was a lot of noise from the street during the night. Breakfast was nothing special.
B. W.
Comfortable bed very good for the price this is our second time spending the night there service of staff very good
Decided to have breakfast in the morning well worth it would recommend this hotel
A. B.
The room was comfortable and the shower was lovely. Excellent amount of plug sockets and I enjoyed the coffee machine. Would have liked more coffee samples but that's just me being greedy
B. P.
Staff are very well mannered and the hotel isn't expensive eithet! Close to the Tower Bridge and HMS Belfast. Beds were comfortable to sleep on and rooms were very clean and well presentable.
L. H.
Comfortable bed, friendly staff nousy outside but thats location so cant be helped. Decent breakfast and handy for Central London. Would stay again.
P. G.
Very good location and clean but basic hotel. Beware that the proximity to the train tracks and the wooden hallways mean that there's a lot of noise late at night and from first thing in the morning.
J. S.
Lovely staff. Very helpful. Good all you can eat breakfast. Reasonable price for London. Excellent room
D. B.
Quite an ugly building. Location is okay, but it's near some massive roads. Shops and cafes are only a short walk away though. Staff was friendly, but I've had much friendlier at other Travelodges.
F. M.
Conveniently located to where I needed to be. We had a superroom! Very comfy and clean. Was concerned as it overlooked the rail/DLR but when we closed the windows there was virtually silence!
A. B.
Friendly staff and a great price considering the area in central London. Great view from my window. Room was clean and provided a lot of towels.
G. M.
The normal. Rooms are smaller than standard travelodge rooms that I've been in. But there are superior rooms that I didn't stay in that looked the piece.
A. I.
Wonderful stay, room immaculate and very modern, perfect location less than 5 min walk from Tower Bridge, good breakfast, would stay again, slightly noisy if on the train station side of hotel
B. B.
Considering the price, it's helpful staff and location it is actually all good. One might complain about the noise from the trains passing by or the cleaningness of the rooms (not bad at all..). new flooring would be a good improvement.
J. T.
My stay at Travelodge London central tower bridge was satisfactory. I was provided very little service and there was terrible Wi-Fi in my room. The room was well maintained and the stay was overall pleasant.
V. A.
Great location, near to Tower Hill tube station. Friendly staff, decent, basic, small room with all the usual mod cons. Welcomed the left luggage facility. Great experience all round!
L. M.
Clean and good sized rooms in a great location. Only 2 minute walk from a tube station. Breakfast and a bar area available to use. Good!
S. W.
Stayed one night. Good room at a reasonable price for London. Good location close to Tower of London and the America Square Conference Centre. Great customer service from the staff onsite at the Travelodge.
T. T.
Excellently located hotel for everything we needed to see and do. Polite and attentive staff especially as we turned up on boxing day, when most people would rather not work.
G. C.
This Travelodge is located in the Aldgate area of London on a busy main road. If you're unfortunate enough to get a room on the same side as the road then you will hear the traffic from inside. I'd recommend requesting a room to the rear. Bear in mind, if you are staying here there is no on-site parking. The breakfast is good at £8.95 for all you can eat but it can get busy. Close to a Tesco express and Sainsbury's local. There are also a few pubs and restaurants around the area of the hotel
D. D.
Room was clean, staff very friendly, breakfast ok, evening meal - pizza very good. Great location for price.
Ю. К.
The room is small. Very close to train station. Is OK if you just want to spend a night, not more. Wi-Fi is very poor, especially for upload.
C. M.
Place its self was ok to get your head down. Clean few problems that was sorted out had to have key card redone all the time. 5 to 10 min walk from the underground that takes you in to central London. Theres a co OP and tesco extra close and a spoons just down the road.
R. M.
Stay was alright and unlike some Travelodges this has breakfast option. Please be aware some of the Travelodges only provide Breakfast in the box which is not sufficient for an adult.
Z. R.
Hair dryer didn't work, reception gave a new one. Then there was no DND sign for the door.. just kept having to visit reception. At least the staff are quite friendly!
L. B.
Staff very helpful and polite. Beds were comfortable too
R. J.
Stayed here for 2 nights for a weekend break.
Hotel was clean and tidy. Staff where also friendly.
Nice location with a couple minute walk to the nearest tube station.
C. G.
This is a lovely place to stay but, as 3 of us booked, we were put in a small double room with a put up bed which was like sleeping on a brick.
A. W.
I love the way you bring luxury to our lives. Your hotel is one decent place to stay. Your staffs and services as well as the site truly deserves a 5-star rate! Job well done!
R. C.
It was a bed for the night and as such was fine and the staff where pleasant.
Check in/out where hassle free
It was a lot better than the Travelodge on City Road (near Finsbury Square which can only be described as a south American gaol)
I. H.
Efficient, clean. Breakfast fine and help yourself. Room felt very sparse for price paid, but that is personal feeling of course.
S. P.
Good stay, friendly staff, good food. Little noisy with trains coming past, but you get used to it. Hope to return soon.
j. c.
Room was very clean and staff friendly and helpful
K. M.
I only looked at the pictures but they are better than our hotels and motels here in America. So if you think about coming here go ahead bring your extra travel gear.
T. C.
Just an average Travelodge, as all hotels in London are expensive, it's not exactly budget but it is relative to others around.
Bathrooms can feel somewhat industrial and bare and cold feeling.
M. C.
The shower was the highlight of my visit. It was one of those powerful ones. Its was so powerful, it caused a draft. This did cause chaos with the shower curtain though but who cares when you have a power shower like that.

Fine hotel, good breakfast, good location, in the centre and close to metro stations. Clean room only the supplement of toilet paper and bath gel wasn't the best.
S. T.
Reasonable location with nearby access to tube stations and food, although there is a small on site restaurant. Clean. A little noisy due to the rail line, but nothing unusual for central London
A. S.
Standard Travelodge in a good location and good price near the Tower of London. Slept well and though trains pass close by there appears to be good sound insulation.
M. B.
I am really satisfied with my stay here in Travelodge. They gave me nice and comfy room and their services and staffs are super nice. This place is one decent hotel.
K. D.
Nice, quiet, clean hotel within walking distance of attractions. Would be five stars if provided hair driers and a telephone!
K. A.
Good clean hotel but very overpriced for what you got. Disappointing breakfast as food was dry. The bed was really comfortable
P. E.
Clean and tidy with friendly staff, dated rooms with no air-conditioning and avoid the south side unless you want to be kept awake by the trains which run right past the windows.
E. J.
Comfy bed and great for a 1 night stay but for the end of January when it's 3 degrees outside the room was far too hot. Other than that I couldn't complain
D. S.
Room had no electric in the sockets, a window had been left wide open so room was cold and the TV didn't work. Staff were helpful and after a catalogue of disasters they finally moved us and gave us breakfast on the house
a. n.
this place is so convenient across the road from the tower of London and only a 100 metre walk to the tube station connecting you to everywhere. wetherspoons close by for reasonable drinks and food.
D. T.
Cheap and convenient. Noisy and hot. Docklands railway runs right alongside.....and late into the night. Cheerful and helpful staff. It's ok.
S. T.
Nice Travelodge, not sure i would bother with a "superior" room again , as the bigger TV and addition of a coffee machine didnt really do anything for me (plus all there rooms are really good now)
J. R.
Staff very friendly. Breakfast was hot and tasted good. Excellent location, tube station two minutes away.
S. M.
Very clean and comfortable. Close to the DLR, tower bridge and Algate high street. 90 quid per night, which is OK for central London. Would recommend.
S. T.
Cosy room. Surprisingly I didn't hear the trains even though my room was located towards the train tracks. Breakfast was nice. Staff were also friendly and helpful.
L. T.
It was very humid in the hotel and the breakfast wasn't great. At any point they didnt have every breakfast item available so you had to keep going back to make a full meal.
T. G.
Nice little place to go when you need a rest. It has great food facilities and a bar onsite. Staff were friendly.
P. S.
Excellent weekend as always nice staff good breakfast, stay here when we come to London only complaint was the room was too warm ,but shall stay again our third visit local to everything
J. B.
Don't be put off by the slightly grim exterior - the rooms are clean and bright. No air-conditioning, but the windows can be opened.
S. S.
Clean rooms, great location but misses on few basic things like hair dryer, extra towels, body lotion....
N. M.
Great for a short stay close to the city and right beside Tower Bridge. Clean, quiet rooms, friendly staff.
A. R.
Great location and tariff. Comfy bed. Generally clean. The sink in my room was completely clogged.
K. K.
Good location, comfy beds, plentiful breakfast. Really friendly staff, always leave in the morning with a smile on my face :)
D. R.
Great location with a multi storey over night car park next door...rooms not the best but acceptable a bit dusty and marks here and there. Dog friendly staff really friendly.
l. m.
An amazing hotel especially if you are on a budget. Clean room and amazing staff. Will definitely come back
G. B.
Hotel was as expected, but was put on the railway side for a room so even though I was on the quiet floor, I got no sleep with trains passing all night.
g.
Excellent location, tube station 5 mins walk from hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Good food.
Z. l.

C. N.
Good location and room quality. Train track was noisy but windows were good quality so most of the noise was kept out.
A. D.
Good location, friendly staff. Giving 5 stars even though I had a problem with room which couldn't be immediately fixed...We were given complimentary breakfast for 3 mornings for the inconvenience. We'll be back.
T. B.
Rooms were clean, staff friendly, breakfest was good and plenty of food! Good location close to tube station!
a. w.

G. B.
Perfectly situated, clean, spacious rooms with on site cafe. Breakfast really good.
A. L. B.
Good service, very good location, decent food. Fair amenities in the room but overall the hotel is very good value for money.
A. D.
Aside from noise from station (expected though and little that can be done) was an enjoyable stay. Let down slightly by lack of egg options for breakfast
L. P.
I only stayed here once but I still can say that this is a decent hotel to stay with. Good service, good customer service, nice place. I really enjoyed my stay.
L. R.
Excellent service at breakfast from Tony and overall good experience
T. L.

A typical Travelodge but what a great location, 5 minute walk from Tower Hill station. Very clean rooms and the staff were excellent.
L. P.
Great Hotel , Fantastic customer service by all staff members and management. Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in London .Great Experience all round - Thankyou
M. K.
Convenient location, service to be improved. There is a technical problem to hook your android/chrome device on WiFi. They ask you for another device...weird
P. T.
Does what it says on the tin. Staff were efficient and helpful, room was clean. Not a 'run down' travelodge.
J. P.
Surprisingly good for the price. Basic but clean. Nice big bathtub. Service was friendly and helpful. Great location.
j. u.
Decent enough for a travel lodge, but it is right next to a 5 track tail line. Ask for the road side, it's a quieter.
D. M.
Nice room, very clean, hotel very close to underground and train station. Good wifi con my room and public area
w. h.
This is good travel lodge we stayed in there preamer room for the first-time and definitely recommend them pluse it's right next to a great we pub that's got a beer garden

L. A.

K. M.
Room was incredibly hot! Towels smelled damp. Staff however were really polite.
R.
Room was very hot, had to sleep with the window open which wasn't great with the trains coming and going all night.
T. G.
Location was great and check in/out process was quick. Room was immaculate with the usual facilities.
J. A.
Comfy bed, no soap or shower gel in the receptacles, chair was uncomfortable but handy desk with plug sockets. No sockets near bedside though
k. p.
Location is good. Room is clean. It's just really hot, can't open the windows very much.
S. W.
Super noisy if staying railway side. Breakfast was reasonable. Normally quality is much better.
S. W.
A good, modern, clean travelodge. No frills but great central location. Perfect for us to attend an event at the tower of London.
F. B.
Lovely location. Easy to visit surrounding areas! Friendly staff. Easy reach to London Eye for New Year celebrations; by walking or underground!
P. E.
Excellent location for visiting London, staff very friendly rooms clean, this was our 9th year.
l. b.
No hairdryer in room by default. Breakfast alright, scrambled eggs to be avoided. Comfy bed though
B. A.
Otel good but so close to railways, if you are planning to stay you should choose rooms to street
D. C.
Staff friendly and hotel was well kept and clean, tube station also a few minutes away
j. c.
Guest appreciated friendly staff. Guest spoke highly of reception staff. Housekeeping need to be improved.
p. c.
Stayed for 7 nights with my partner, was great location to explore all the main attractions in London.room was basic but clean and comfortable.staff was very friendly and very helpful to resolve any problems.only downside was that it was so hot in the room and a bit of noise from the road and railway.but was expected as its a busy city and got used to it after a few nights, was all part of the adventure.deff stay there again next time I'm in london
P. J.
Probably one of the better travelodges around although if you get a train track side room, it's quite loud apparently
D. B.
Exactly as it says on the tin. Comfortable, clean, good value for money. Never had a complaint at a travelodge.
J. D.
Small but reasonably comfortable rooms breakfast was awful dry and not very nice at all
t. m.

C. G.
Cramped rooms....not much space to move around...very difficult with the kids.... I guess with this low cost this is the service you get....
C.
Value but they need to invest in a vacuum cleaner
v. r.
One the best Hotels in best Budget
B. M.
Great hotel but next to main railway so very noisy
M. K.
Friendly staff
But every day had problems getting into my room
They need to invest in some new card keys
T. Y.
A good hotel in a great location. Fair price for what you get
Would stay again.
A. E.
No aircon so noisy to cool the room down. Breakfast really good. But no free wi fi. 😑
R. T. (.
Small, very basic room, no view. Bed uncomfortable, we what's in the great heatwave of July 2016, get some air con!
W. S.
trains driving past a lot, quite easy to hear
j. h.
Reasonable price for central London ordered breakfast but didn't get up in time lift to all floors
l. h.
We enjoyed our stay, the staff were very helpful and friendly so we could relax and enjoy our holiday, we would definitely stay again
R. M.
Usual Travelodge refinements, staff could smile a bit more, extraction fan didn't work in our room, dried throw up outside some rooms on second floor.
D. R.
Nice and convenient for Tower of London and Tower Bridge, all rooms are double not twin except accessable rooms, nice breakfast.
S. H.
Great location. Rooms are fine enough. Don't have the breakfast!
D. G.
Good value , clean , 5 mins walk to tube and family friendly pub that serves food 1 min walk
J. H.
Clean rooms, good location, right near Tower Hill tube station, and a Weatherspoons just across the road if you want breakfast ;)
J. B.
Good room, very hot though. Dimmer switch didn't work but apart from that a good stay
